DragonFire Recap · 1:32am Nov 9th, 2022

5 years ago, I wrote my first Spike Harem story DragonFire: Enter the Dragon Hero.

I was just a young creative writer then. I was so caught up the moment that sometimes, I didn’t know what I was doing back when, or I just try not to overthink it so much.

But now, me and Mecha are considering ending the story once and for all, before we can do a reboot.

It’s a long story, so brace yourself.

So, in this MLP alternate universe, Spike’s a human boy who was born and blessed with a rare force of magic called the DragonFire.

This is a big deal, because apparently, the DragonFire is like your typical firepower, but times ten. (Shapeshift, pyrokinesis, even the power to multiply golds, etc.)

Thus, Spike became a wanted man (both to the bounty hunters and to the ladies. LOL)

He was attacked, lost his memories, and got separated by his adopted mother (Princess Celestia), his uncle figure (Scorpan) spent the last decade training young Spike, globetrotting to learn every forms of martial arts.

One day, Spike is reunited with his childhood friends, the Mane Six, plus Sunset Shimmer, and a boy named Flare Heart.

Then, Spikes gets attacked by the Shadowbolts, hunted down by their mad princess, Nightmare Moon. Spike got possessed, but thankfully, his DragonFire helped him break free from her hold.

After his triumphant victory over his dark adopted aunt, Spike was reunited with his mom.

After that, Spike goes on an adventure with the Mane Six and friends to search for pieces of a magic armor called the Armor of Heroes. They go into battle with the Shadowbolts again, including a meta human bounty hunter they hired, named Bloodshot.

Along the way, they meet Princess Skystar.

In the end, Nightmare Moon turns into a rampaging slime kaiju called Nightmare Smooze. After an epic battle, Nightmare Moon is AT LAST Princess Luna once again.

At this point, Spike should have a break, do some overdue mother-son/aunt-nephew bonding, or serious live business with his girlfriends. Right?

Eh…in the words of Big Mac: “Nope.”

…Granted, I’m all about actions, adventures, and witty remarks than romance…but I did snuck in a few innuendos and fan services. But that’s just about it.

Sometimes after Spike’s big adventure, that ended in his aunt’s return, Ponyville is under attack by a meta human. Mecha’s OC, Fear Haunter, who is modeled off of Pennywise the clown and Scarecrow from Batman.

After a nightmare fuel of adventures and fighting, Fear Haunter was defeated and arrested.

Then, Princess Skystar gets homesick, so Spike and friends go on another epic adventure to return her to Seaquestria. Trouble is, they ran into some poachers — the Cerulean Hunters — who are armed to the teeth with magic hunting equipments, and are looking to have sea ponies for sushi.

Thankfully, with Princess Celestia’s help, Spike and friends fought off the Cerulean Hunters.

And FINALLY after all that excitement, Spike was looking forward to engaging in some romantic moments with his girls.

Unfortunately, Fear Haunter has broke out of prison, has joined forces with a Killer Croc expy named Bone Cruncher. And worse still, Fear Haunter has kidnapped Sour Sweet, and our heroes are now gearing up to rescue her from another of Fear Haunter’a sick game.

Stay tuned, because me and Mecha are about to conclude this story.

Awesome recap, and good to know. This is exactly how I felt when I decided to wrap up A Boy's Dazzling Girls. I can't wait to see what you guys do

Are you gonna continue this?

I hope this story goes out with a bang.

Glad to hear you're giving this a proper ending, can't wait for the reboot!

I still remember my idea of an action series on the Equestria Girls world.

As for unfinished stories, my mind have been focused a lot on original stories that I can't bring myself to continue my own.
