Another Extra Life Game Day in the bag.
21 hours 51 minutes, certainly a personal record for a solo run.
Five Halo campaigns. I've never played that much Halo in one sitting before; not even during launch weekends.
Yesterday wasn't exactly smooth sailing. The high winds in the region caused a power outage just long enough to interrupt everything about four hours in. A few hours after that, the OBS encoder overwhelmed my CPU twice, likely because of how long I was running the Replay Buffer. It necessitated quick stream restarts each time. My plan was to put together a compilation video of the best and funniest moments, but the buffer wasn't running for more than half the run, so we'll see what I got.
Phazon, my highest Fimfiction donor from last year, doubled his contributions this year, bringing this year's current total to $1301, blowing well beyond my goal meter, and my lifetime total to $2211. A long ways off from that $10k coin, but for this year, the gold medal is mine. He knows the drill; if he ever has a story idea he wants me to try (apart from the one already in progress 
), all he has to do is hit that PM button, and it's his, free of charge, again. Unless another Fimfiction member wants to one-up his donation, because it runs til the end of the year (there's a custom keyboard in it for me at the $2k mark).
Also want to give a shout to justheretoreadstories, my other Fimfiction donor yesterday. Thank you very much, and every little bit helps.
My IRL and online friends were amazing yesterday too. Two of them were there almost the entire time, and didn't hold back with their... Um, let's call it 'encouragement', sure. Also, apparently the Revenant is also known as the "Covenant Minivan".
As of this writing, Extra Life 2022 has raised $9,162,343.65 for Children's Miracle Network hospitals. As always, donations run through the end of the year, so if you didn't get a chance to get it in yesterday, you still have plenty of time.
Considering it took me six months to come to you with the pitch that led to Unicorn Attack!, it's hard to say if or when I'll think of something I want you to do. I actually have half a mind to pass the free commission over to justheretoreadstories, but we'll see. The offer doesn't exactly have an expiration date on it.
