    Catching Up

Well, been a minute since I've said anything hasn't it? 2023 was an interesting year for me with a lot of changes in my life that once again, limited my time for writing which lead to little being put out. Of course work hasn't stopped, the first chapter of the proper Guild sequel is in progress now, with about a third written. It got slowed down a little bit as I had to go through and rethink

    The Beast Is Born

Hey everybody, might be getting this out a day later than I had originally planned, but I what I have in store will be well worth the wait if you are a fan of the Tall Tale series and specifically, the HG-10. Now in Birth of the Beast, I hinted at the cover photo being an actual depiction of the HG-10, and that there was a side project I had been working on. Well, that photo came from said side

Future for the Tall Tale Mountain Short Line

Ah Tall Tale, the little town in the hills with the big railway. I've always had fun writing stories about this little made up corner of a made up world, and as I'm sure many have noticed with the three short stories released over the last month. Some of you will be happy to hear that these three stories will not be the end of continued writing for the ponies of the Smokey Mountains. I have plans

    A wild update appears!

Hey pones is Mason again for the first time in a while. I'm going to keep this short sweet and to the point, there is new stories on the horizon. While I had to step away for some time as I found my free time to write getting smaller and smaller, I never fully stopped. Now it's almost time to breath life back into the simmering coals of this page. Stay tuned for October. The hills are alive with

    Long time no see

Hey there everyone, it's Mason. Been a while hasn't it? Sorry about that. College and real life got crazy and I just really didn't have the time to write anymore. However, now the this virus going around, and a bit more time on my hands, I'm hoping to return. I still plan to finish WOAFOHR, and write a sequel to Guild, and maybe a few more asphalt cowboys. I won't make any promises for when any

Future for the Tall Tale Mountain Short Line · 11:19pm Nov 4th, 2022

Ah Tall Tale, the little town in the hills with the big railway. I've always had fun writing stories about this little made up corner of a made up world, and as I'm sure many have noticed with the three short stories released over the last month. Some of you will be happy to hear that these three stories will not be the end of continued writing for the ponies of the Smokey Mountains. I have plans for much more story telling with my favorite railroad crews, but sadly it will not be any time in the near future, or with as much frequency as has been seen in the last month, as two out of three of those stories had been side projects for months now.

With all that being said, this is the current plan for releases in the Tall Tale series. Tall Tales From Tall Tale, my little short story series that I use for lore and world building, will continue with four further installments currently planned. There may eventually be more, but these four are the only set in stone ideas I currently have. I will let you all speculate the stories involved from their titles, no spoilers for now heh.

Now as I feel I have mentioned before, these little shorts are not the proper sequel to the original story of Dual Bands Of Steel Through The Hills, that will be it's own stand out multi chapter story, much like the first. Work has not yet been started on this story yet, but the main setup for the story is planned out. (which is more than can be said for the original as I really had no plan for that and it kinda bit me towards the end) Like the short stories there is not currently a release timeline for this sequel but I do plan to start work on it in the near future, and it will hopefully see its first chapter in the first half of next year. If real life and my little side project don't get in the way. Said side project does pertain to the Tall Tale Railway, and will be explained in another blog post later this weekend. With all that being said, I hope to see you guys down the tracks for the future installments of Tall Tales From Tall Tale, and the future sequel,

The Guild Of Equestrian Railwaymen: New Age, Old Ways
