quick life update of the last eight years: graduated high school, went to college, started therapy, broke up with my partner of 4 years, graduated college, moved back to my home state, became a teacher, pandemic happened, transitioned, left teaching, fell in love again. whew!
well folks, I'm still here. I said I was going to delete my account because I was a 17-year-old dude trying to be a Serious Writer, embarrassed that my longest completed writing project was an MLP/Harry Potter crossover fic. Now I'm a 26-year-old queer trans woman and I have fully embraced the cringe. This account is still probably going to be inactive because I don't write MLP fanfic anymore, but I will leave the stories up as long as Fimfiction is still paying its server fees. Readers beware that the kid who wrote those stories was Really Going Through It and was also pretty pretentious.
I'm in the process of making an AO3 account (who knew you needed an invitation to join? wack.) in case I feel like writing fanfic again. Currently I'm obsessed with The Owl House, A League of Their Own (TV show), and What We Do In The Shadows and I have some ideas that might eventually see the light of day. The writing quality will probably be better since I paid several thousand dollars for a Creative Writing degree. I'm now also a boring adult with a 9-to-5 job, so don't expect updates to be as frequent.

I do want to say thank you to everyone who's read my stories over the years. It was lovely to log back into this account and see messages from people still enjoying my work. I was embarrassed about these stories, but looking back at my high school self, I see a kid with a lot of passion doing the thing that they love. It still boggles my mind that over TWO HUNDRED PEOPLE read and enjoyed my stories, and that's part of the reason why I decided to get a degree in writing.

I really admire the commitment, but it's not gonna happen to be honest. I'm almost a completely different person than the one who started writing that story.
also it should be said, JK Rowling sure has spent the last few years letting the world know what a bigoted asshole she is and I have less than zero interest in playing around in her fictional universe at this point.
Thank you for your reply. I do realize that what you have survived has brought great change to you. It was (and is) my intent to let you know that you and your contributions have not been forgotten. As for JKR; although I know that she has been in bad odor for the last few years, your statement makes it seem more serious than I thought. I shall take a closer look.
As for "bigoted asshole". This is exactly how I feel about Hemmingway.
