Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, and Spike are kidnapped by Discord. Chaos has engulfed the town of Ponyville.
Discord has been thought to have been imprisoned in stone. How have the ponies have been tricked. During the night Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, and Spike are kidnapped. No body knows how or why, but it has Discord written all over it.
Rarity woke up like every other morning. She got on her fuzzy designer pink robe with her fuzzy designer slippers. She went to brush her hair. It took a long time to get her mane the way it was. "Sweetie Belle it is time to get up dear." Rarity yelled. There was no response. Rarity was starting to get irritated.
"Now listen here young lady. You still have half of week of school left and your in perfect health. I will give you until the count of three." Rarity said. She was right outside Sweetie Belle's room. Sweetie had pulled tricks like this before. Once she had pretended to be sick just to get out of a history test.
''One...." Rarity started. Still no response. "Two....." Not even a groan. "Three!" Rarity pushed open the door. Sweetie Belle was not in her room. In fact there wasn't anything in her room. Rarity started to freak out. She ran out of her robe and slippers and into the streets of Ponyville. "I've got to find Twilight. Hopefully she has a clue about whats going on." Rarity said to herself.
Rainbow Dash's House.
Rainbow woke up with a yawn. Normally she wouldn't get up this early, but something was telling her that something that there was something wrong. Scootaloo has been living with Rainbow Dash ever since their parents past away. Rainbow Dash has tried very hard to be the best sister she could be for Scootaloo. She was too young to know about death, but life has twisted ways. Rainbow quickly walked to Scootaloo's room. "Scoots you up yet?" Rainbow Dash asked.
There wasn't a single noise. Not even a welcoming grunt. Rainbow Dash began to worry. She was starting to get worried. Dash broke down the door only to find a plain white cloud room. Nothing of Scootaloo's was there. Rainbow Dash was heartbroken. She couldn't believe it. Her little sis was gone and there was nothing that she could do about it. "NO! I will find who ever did this pay. I just need to find Twilight. Don't worry Scoots I'll bring you back you home." Dash said as she flew out side to Twilight's. Rainbow Dash's eyes were raging with fire.
Sweet Apple Acres
Applejack and Big Mac were trying to bust down Applebloom's door. They have been trying at this for hours. "Phew this is more tiring than trying to harvest the whole darn farm with one leg." Applejack said whipping sweat from her forehead. "Eeyup.'' Big Mac agreed. There was a set of clomping was heard throughout the hallway. "What is it with all this here racket?! I need mah sleep ya know!" Granny Smith yelled. Applejack and Big Mac stiffened up. Had they been that loud? Everypony knew not to disturb Granny Smith while she was sleeping unless it was important.
"Its nothin Gran just trying to open this here door. It won't budge and it is too darn near time for Applebloom to get up." Applejack said. Granny Smith slowly walked over to the door. She got up close to it and observed it. She gently applied pressure to the door and the door opened. Big Mac's pupil's went to the size of pin pricks. Applejack's mouth dropped straight to the floor.
"Ya just got to be gently with it. your generation today is too rough with things." Granny Smith said as she slowly walked back to her rocking chair. "Big Mac you go ahead and start on tha fields. We enough time here. Ya go ahead ya hear." Applejack said. Big mac soon let. Applejack went into Applebloom's room ready to give that little filly a piece of her mind. Instead what she found was an empty room. There wasn't even a scrap of what Applebloom had or the filly herself. Applejack's legs began to feel like jelly. All she could do was fall onto the floor. The tough work pony was finally broken.
` Golden Oaks Library
Twilight had her hooves full as it is. Just this morning she found that there was no trace of Spike anywhere. Everything form his basket to his pictures of Rarity. Now she was busy working on a way to find him. Just then Rarity and Rainbow Dash busted through the door. "Twilight! Scootaloo/Sweetie Belle has been taken!" They both said in unison. "What!?! You guys too!" Twilight said still working on her works. Big mac come into the room with a shocked Applejack on his back.
"Uuum. Might want want to include us too." He said. Twilight was getting tense. She worked as fast as she could. "I'm working on it." Twilight said. Rarity stomped her hoof on the wooden floor. "There is no time for working Twilight! Send a letter to the Princess and do something." She yelled. Twilight stopped for a second, but continued with her work. "I can't."She replied. "What do you mean you can't!? You are the most powerful unicorn we know! Wait Spike isn't around here. Spike is gone too isn't he?!" Rainbow Dash yelled. Twilight stopped for a minute. The ponies in the room could see a tear starting to leak out of her eye.
"I can't do anything right now."Twilight said devoid of any emotion. That made everything more worse. "You can't do anything. You can't do anything! YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING!! YOU ARE TWILIGHT SPARKLE! STUDENT OF PRINCESS CELESTIA! ELEMENT OF MAGIC! DESTROYER OF NIGHTMARE MOON! THE ONE WHO HELPED US GET BACK TO NORMAL AND IMPRISON DISCORD! NOW YOU SAY YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING! SOME FRIEND YOU TURNED OUT TO BE! YOU PROBABLY DON'T CARE ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS TO SPIKE BECAUSE HE IS JUST YOU LITTLE DRAGON HELPER! THIS IS OUR LITTLE SISTERS LIVES ON THE LINE!" Rainbow Dash yelled. She was steaming mad. Rarity knew that Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo were sisters, but Rainbow Dash was taking this too far. Twilight fully stopped with her work.
" You think I don't care about what happens to Spike? You think that I just consider him just an assistant and that what ever happens to him I can just dismiss it like it never happened." Twilight said with the rage building up in her voice. Rainbow Dash didn't back down. "You don't know do you?" Twilight asked. Rainbow Dash tilted her head. Then she had something hit her face.
Dash looked at it. It was a bunch of paper, but not just any papers adoption papers. "Spike is my son. When I was old enough I signed those papers with my own signature. Ever since Spike was a new born I was protecting him. Do you know how many death threats, court orders, and angry mobs I had to go through until everyone even gave Spike a CHANCE?" Twilight asked. Rainbow Dash was about to answer, but Big Mac covered her mouth. "I WENT THROUGH TOO MUCH TO ENSURE THAT SPIKE WOULD LIVE THE BEST LIFE EVER. SO THAT WHEN I LEAVE THIS WORLD HE WOULD HAVE A WHOLE LIFE OF MEMORIES TO LOOK BACK ON WHEN HE GETS OLDER AND YOU THINK I DON'T CARE! I'M BEEN UP SINCE THIS FOUR A.M THIS MORNING TRYING TO PIN POINT SPIKE'S LOCATION! I HAVEN'T EVEN COME CLOSE ENOUGH." Twilight paused.
"AND I NOW WHAT YOU AND SCOOTALOO WENT THROUGH AND I DO CARE ABOUT YOU GUYS, BUT IF YOU EVER THINK THAT FOR A SECOND THAT I DON'T CARE ABOUT SPIKE MY SON YOU MIGHT AS WELL GO OUT THAT DOOR! Twilight opened up the door with her magic. Rainbow Dash considered her chances. "I'm sorry Twi I didn't know. I'll stay and help you." Rainbow Dash said. Rarity stepped up "No one is going to doing anything without me." She said with a smile. Big Mac said one word " Eeyup." Applejack was still too shaken up by the experience.
Who ever took these four kids were going to pay. The six ponies were on the track to finding to this fiend.
Applebloom was the first to wake up. "Mah sis should have woke me up by now." She got up out of bed. Everything was fine until she found that she wasn't in here room anymore. Next to her were the beds of Scootaloo, Sweetie Bell, and Spike. Spike's bed was empty. "Sweetie Belle! Scootaloo! Wake up! Somethin has gone wrong here!" She screamed. Scootaloo was the first to wake up. "Argh. Applebloom? What are you doing in my room how did you get up here anyway?" She asked.
"Scoots this is not your room. Look 'round!" Applebloom said as she gestured to their surroundings. It was plain white everywhere except for the four beds and their stuff laid out beside them. "Where am I ?" Sweetie Belle asked. She had rubbed the sleep out of her eyes until to have Spike pop out of nowhere in front of her face. Sweetie Belle jumped about ten yards into the air. " Spike where the heck did you come from!?!" The CMC said in unison. Spike kept a stern face. "I don't know why don't know you ask him." Spike said pointing to nothing, but blank air.
Suddenly the blank space began to morph and twist into a figure. The figure grew a bat and angel wing. It sprouted two crooked horns on top of it's head. Then it grew a dragon leg and a goat leg. It's snake like body with brown fur could now be seen. It's dragon tail finished with a puff of white fluff on the end. It's black mane was now seen too. The figure's signature beard has now sprouted into full bloom. With one last final touch it's one sharp tooth flashed out with a 'shing'.
"Discord!" The three fillies said in unison. Discord floated down to the little fillies. " Aww I see that you four haven't forgotten about little old me." He said mockingly. "Discord! I don't know what you have done, but I want you to take us back or your going to have to answer to me!" Scootaloo demanded. "Aw a fighting spirit. Just like your mom." Discord said with a smile.
"How do you know about my mom?" Scootaloo said as she backed down. "I know about a lot of things. For one Applebloom here has a talent for being able to communicate to plants for a some time now." Spike, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle looked at Applebloom with a 'what the heck' face. "Spike has been able to use magic since to about the time I was released." Discord continued. Spike had three pairs of eyes looking at him He sighed. In an instant he summoned a pair of small flame wings on his back.
Scoootaloo was raging mad. If Spike had learn to fly before her she would murder him. True that Rainbow Dash has been a good teacher Scootaloo was just had a slow take off. She could now fly for at least three minutes and perform a perfect glide. Spike was a cool dude, almost cooler that Scootaloo in her opinion. If he was able to fly before she could she would punch him in his little dragon face.
"Sweetie Belle here has able to use time magic just yesterday." Discord said with smirked. "So thats how ya been able to do al' of ya homework!" Applebloom yelled. She soon calmed down with thinking of one question. "What does all of dis have to do with us?" Applebloom asked. Discord smirk grew wider. "Finally you asked the question I was beginning to believe you would never ask it. Now since you asked I will tell you." Discord pulled down a chart with a blob of colors. "Chaos is like this blob right here. It has an undefined shape and has no right or wrong way of moving. The rainbow color right here is part of the is Randomness. It is one of the parts of chaos. This blue area over here is misery right next to it is the black color of destruction." Discord said. " What does this have to.." Spike was cut off. "Please save all questions until the end of the presentation please."
"Any way. When Celestia and Luna used the Elements of Harmony to imprison me it shattered my chaos like a glass window. Some of my chaos remained while the other pieces drifted off to unknown parts of Equestria. It took me a centuries to gather all of the missing pieces. All I was missing were four pieces of destruction." Discord paused. "It would appear to be that when you four were born a magic surge happened and a piece of destruction was bonded to your mind, spirit, and body." The four kids were shocked.
This new information would be the reason why the Cutie Mark Crusaders always end up wrecking something and why Spike would set one of Twilight's books on fire at random times. "Well...can't you.... you know take the pieces out of us?" Sweetie asked. Discord's smirk turned into a frown. " I'm sorry there is no way to take the pieces from you without causing mental damage. If I were to take the pieces away from you four your personalities would be altered forever." Spike was getting a stern face. "Why are you just now deciding to help us? We know what you did in the past, but we just can't forgive you for your crimes." Spike said.
Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scoots all nodded there heads in agreement. " I hope to start a new life. Maybe get a few ponies to see that I'm not all that evil. Just trying to provide a little fun in their everyday boring lives. Also if your wondering how I'm here and not in stone readers I had a fail safe plan and lets just say that it worked greatly. Celestia doesn't even know that I'm gone." Discord says. Spike leaned over to Applebloom and asked "Who is he talking to?" Applebloom looked back at him and said " Ah don't know. Just go along with it."
" So would you four like to be taught how to wield your chaotic powers?" Discord asked. He held out four tickets. One with each of their names on them. "What happens if we deny your offer?" Sweetie Belle asked kindly. "Well since you won't learn how to use extra chaotic energy your body won't be able to hold up with all the stress of the chaotic magic. In twelve years tops you four might meet an untimely end." Discord said with a frown. This made the four kids cringe at the thought. "And if we do accept you will take us back home?" Scootaloo asks. "Why certainly! I never had a real family, but I'm not a cold cruel monster. You guys can leave when ever you want. Well after I teach you how to use chaotic magic properly." Discord said. The four kids grabbed their tickets.
A type of magic engulfed them. "Lesson one. Releasing chaotic magic. Have fun you four." Was all Spike, Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo heard before they were teleported to some unknown location.
Twilight had worked none stop for the last two days. Rarity and Rainbow Dash had came by to help, but with Twilight's studies of high levels of knowledge both of them didn't know it was hard to help. Most of the time they just would drop by and deliver her a cup of coffee.
Twilight was so close to finishing, but she was overlooking one little detail. The only thing is what was she overlooking? Spike, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and Applebloom were all kidnapped in the middle of the night when all of them were asleep. Which is highly impossible because all of their stuff was stolen too. It would have taken a whole two days to remove that stuff, but this pony did it in half a night.
The most interesting part was that there was nearly enough clues left behind to even get a close reference. The only clues were this claw mark, a blood sample, and a faint trace of magic. Two of the three clues have been no use what so ever. The claw mark wasn't from anything Equestria has seen. The blood sample wasn't good either. The doctors and scientists of Equestria have gathered to TRY and find out what in the world it is.
The only thing left now is the faint trace of magic. "Come on you. Your my last hope in finding Spike and the others." Twilight said as her magic aura surrounded her horn. Everypony has there own type of magic signature that is unique only to them. With the spell Twilight was about to cast she would see exactly who's magic it was.
A track of purple light slowly made it's way to the trace of magic in side a container. The track slowly engulfed the contain and soon began to seep it's way through it way through the container. Then that is when the unexpected happened. Twilight's magic began to fade away at rapid speeds. "What the.....I couldn't have done this wrong I followed every step." Twilight started to panic. "Oooh. What if we can never find to kids? What if I lose Spike forever?" Twilight was now in full panic mode. From having her hair frizz out to that creepy smile of her's.
The magic in the container began to shift and turn. It made loud noises that made Twilight come out of her panic attack. The magic had broken out of it's container and was now beginning to shift into different types of objects. Piano, drums, a apple tree sapling, a shovel, a fire ruby, and all sorts of different types of gems.
"This is impossible.......no its........CHAOS." Twilight had finally come to an conclusion. Just as the conclusion came the magic had turned into a signature in mid-air. It read 'DISCORD' with a dragon coming out of the 'I'.
Twilight was next to losing it. Discord had not only stolen three of her friend's sisters, but her little Spike as well. Sure if it was a regular pony she and Princess Celestia would have sent him to a dark cell with no hope of getting out. No this was not a normal pony. It was Discord. Not only had he done something that she won't forgive, but he tricked all of them into thinking he was defeated. "I'M. GOING. TO. RIP. HIM. INTO. VERY LITTLE. PIECES! Twilight yelled.
It took her every ounce of willpower not to destroy the whole library and maybe part of Ponyville in the process. She had to get Rarity and Rainbow Dash. It would soon be over. Soon.
Meanwhile in an unknown plain of existent The kids landed on a plain white ground. "What are we suppose to do?" Spike asked. The girls just shrugged. "I don't know about you guys, but this place need a little more action." Scootaloo said. She was thinking about racing rocket-powered scooters and jumping through flaming loops.....UNDERWATER. As the thought came the whole place was filled with water in an instant. Everyone was freaking out and holding their breath.
Finally when they couldn't hold it anymore they accepted their fate. What would have been a slow feeling of drowning was nothing. It was like breathing air, but it was water. "How is this possible? This is impossible!" Sweetie Belle yelled. "No its not.....its....chaos." Scootaloo said plainly. Spike, Applebloom, and Sweetie Bell seemed to be catching on.
Four rocket-powered scooters appeared with a orange flash. A race track began to form with all sorts of turns and curves. A whole bunch of loops came out of the ground and when they finished they caught on fire. "Now that is pure chaos right there Scoots. Ya made loops catch on fire." Applebloom said with a smile.
"Yeah yeah I made a few loops of fiery death. Come on I want to race. Scoots hoped on her scooter. "I don't know about this." Sweetie Belle said with a hint of being scared. She eventually got on the scooter after Applebloom and Spike. "Okay how do we WOOOOOOAAAAAH" Sweetie Belle screamed as the scooters kicked to life and was now speeding down the track at blazing speeds.
It was now a competition. Scoots did a three sixty in mid jump and made a slow decent due to the water. Spike did three front flips through a fire loop and landed on his two front wheels. Sweetie Belle came up from behind him and made him spin like a whirlpool. It was mean of course, but all in good fun right? Spike didn't think so. Discord's voice came into his head.
"Lesson one about Chaos. There are no rules to it even in a competition." He said as his voice faded. Spike made a sly grin. He started his scooter back up and raced forward. He concentrated his chaotic energy into his wings. Then he flapped them at super sonic speeds. He as going faster and faster and faster until he did it. He made a sonic rainboom. Well almost. Instead of a mixture of colors it was blend of purple and green. He zoomed through the course doing flips along the way.
"You guys know what that big boom was?" Applebloom asked. "Nope" Was Sweetie Belles response. "It sounded like a..." Scootaloo didn't get to finish her sentence. Time froze for a moment. It freeze framed on Spike flipping over the girls' heads. "Wait wait wait wait. Spike made a sonic rainboom. The legendary SONIC RAINBOOM!" Scoots said as she drew a circle around the freeze framed Spike "How can he do that? Readers yeah I know your there. Don't just sit there and look at what is happening. AND DON'T SAY 'ITS THE POWER OF CHAOS.' I KNOW THAT. Just help me not try and punch Spike in the face okay. Lets get back to the action." Scoots finished and jumped out onto her scooter.
Spike landed in front of the girls saying "See you later." The finish line was right up ahead. Scootaloo gave in all she had. It was time to use her wings. She started to flap her wings as fast as she could, but that wasn't even enough. Scoots came up with and idea. She focused all of her chaotic energy and made a energy hoof right behind Spike. With a simple motion Spike was punched in the back of the head and fell off his scooter.
"That's pay back Spike."Scoots yelled as she crossed the finish line. Spike head hurt a lot now. " Okay...... things not to do to girls. One don't try and use chaos to win at a race against Scootaloo." He said as they were transported back to their beds. They were all tired. They got in their beds as Scootaloo turned off the lights.
Discord looked down on the little ponies and dragon. "I'm such a softy now. Well I only have one and a half more days or three days in Equestria time. Well either way my time is all most up. Good night my little students." Discord said with a laugh.
Applebloom was the first to wake up.......again. It was years on the farm that made her that way. Getting up bright and early was a thing that she had gotten used to. ''Hmmmm. Ah wonder what kinda chaos Ah have?" She said to herself. Applebloom focused and focused but nothing seemed to work. 'Maybe ah could work if it wasn't so dagum dark here.' Applebloom thought. There was a bright red glow in the distance as the sun was beginning to come up into the blank white sky. '' Did Ah do that?" Applebloom asked.
"Yes indeed. You have done well my little pony." Discord said behind her. Applebloom jumped a little. "Would ya please stop that." Applebloom demanded. Discord seemed to be thinking it over as he pulled on a string that came from nowhere. A big sign came down that said "I don't think so.". Applebloom giggled. A grunt was heard from Scootaloo. "Augh who turned on the lights?" She asked in a dull tone. She groaned as she got up. Spike was the next to awaken followed by Sweetie Belle. With two snaps of his fingers Discord summoned a breakfast of pancakes, syrup, and chocolate milk. "Wow. Thanks Discord!" Sweetie Belle said with glee as she dug into the syrupy pancakes.
"It's good, but I think it needs a little kick." Spike said as he snapped his fingers. A fire ruby appeared in front of him. Spike then summoned a chisel and a hammer. Spike placed the chisel on front of the ruby and with one swift tap of the hammer the ruby turned into gem dust and fell on top of the pancakes. "Bravo. Nice placement of chaos Spike." Discord said. Scootaloo felt some thing was off. Surely this wasn't what the Spirit of Chaos would summon for a breakfast. Also two snaps for a simple breakfast I don't think he is telling us something and his color seemed to have drained since the last time we saw him. He looks.......tired.
Discord floated down to the ground and looked at the surroundings. " It really is boring is it not. All of this white no color what so ever. I know how about we head on to lesson two." Discord said with amusement. "And Scootaloo try not to make it to extreme." Scootaloo was struck with shock. The Spirit of Chaos wanted not too extreme. Now that is not something you hear everyday. None the less Scootaloo jumped at the chance to make something with her chaos. The others had finished their meal and was now ready to act too. First was Applebloom. She focused her thoughts and energy into forming the ground and grass below them. A lush green soon began to spread across the land. Applebloom started to get fancy. She started to create a forest that had it all. Flowers, trees, ponds and river, all the works. When Applebloom was done the land was still quiet and empty. Now it was Sweetie Belle's turn.
Her horn started to glow as she called upon her magic and chaos. With it she was able to create life. Deer, rabbits, birds, fish, and other woodland creatures were placed in the land. It was now filled with life and it was peaceful. Sadly the sky was still blank. This was Scootaloo's department. With a confident face she was able to create the sky with all of it's blueness . Next were the clouds. Scootaloo focused her energy to make the clouds. Not only did she create the clouds in the sky, buy she made five clouds look like her, Spike, Applebloom, Sweetie Bell, and Discord.
Last, but not least was Spike. With his chaotic magic he caused the ground to shake. Spike rose mountains in the far off distance. They rose as the ground shook and reached the cloud. When every thing was done it was quiet. The four kids fell down on the ground feeling very tired. It was a straining process indeed, but they had pulled it off. Discord smiled as the four drifted off to sleep. "How adorable. I wish I could enjoy this moment more, but I barely have enough time." Discord said. His coat began to further lose it's color. He was now forgetting almost everything. "At this rate I won't be able to see Twilight and her friends. Oh reader can you tell Twilight I said hi. I bet she would like that." Discord said as he laid down on the grass. 'Applebloom does know how to make some soft grass.' Discord said as he began to drift off into sleep.
In Equestria
Twilight was just putting the finishing touches on her spell. This was a combination between a teleporting spell and a locator spell. Not only would it pin-point the where abouts of the girls and Spike it would also teleport Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and herself to them. Applejack was able to recover her mental breakdown just yesterday. Sadly Pinkie Pie was visiting her family and Fluttershy was off in Cloudsdale to take a friend to the hospital and won't be back until this afternoon.
Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Applejack came through the door. "Girls I'm almost finished with the spell why don't you help yourselves to some refreshments." Twilight said. Rainbow Dash went and grabbed a glass of water. Applejack sat down on the floor while Rarity poured herself some tea. "So,dear, this spell will not only find the children, but will also teleport us to them?" Rarity asked. Twilight nodded. "Whats tha catch?" Applejack asked. "This spell will require all of us to have a clear mind and focus on who we want to find. Any interception with that can either cause the spell to malfunction and shutdown or teleport us to some unknow location ten miles away from here." Twilight said. This information seemed to disturb the three ponies watching Twilight work.
"And its done!" Twilight said with glee. "Now everyone gather together. This will take only a moment." Twilight said. Twilight's horn glowed in a magical hue as a ribbon of magic began to swarm around the four ponies. 'Don't worry Applebloom. Ah'm coming.' Applejack thought. 'Discord will pay. You will be home soon Scootaloo.' Rainbow Dash thought in her head. 'Sweetie Belle. I will be there soon. You won't have to be scared much longer.' Rarity thought. 'Here I come Spike. You will be home soon my son.' Twilight thought. With that the four ponies were teleported away into an unknow plain of existence.
Discord looked over the four children that he had taught in the last past two days. Six days in Equestria time. This will be his last time ever seeing the little fillies and dragon. He couldn't do much for them at the moment. If he did his time here would be shortened even more. Discord sighed as he released the sleeping spell he had placed on them. They had all woke up around the same time.
Applebloom was the first to get her surrounding under raps. She found out that it was the afternoon. " Discord. What did ya......." Applebloom stopped when Discord raised his lion paw. "I just thought that my students would like some ice cream while enjoying the beautiful afternoon." Discord said as he gestured to the ice cream beside their beds. "Aw. Sweet." Spike and Scootaloo said in sync. "Thank ya kindly." Applebloom said. "Thaph jou!" Sweetie Belle said with her mouth filled with a banana split. Applebloom had strawberry ice cream with and apple slice on top. Scootaloo had a rainbow colored ice cream with chocolate chips. Spike had a vanilla sundae with sapphire sprinkles.
As the kids munched down on their treats Discord couldn't help by smile. To him it was kinda cute. He hadn't seen a kid's face covered in ice cream since the time he was last freed. It was funny when the kid screamed cause his ice cream cone started to talk. Funny indeed. Discord felt a tingle in his tail. He looked back to see that a bright yellow flame had engulfed the tip of his tail. He sighed. The kids had finished their ice cream at super speeds and was now looking at Discord. "D.,..Discord whats wrong?" Sweetie Belle asked.
Discord just looked at the little filly and said three simple words. "Its my time." No one in the group knew what that meant. Well except for Scootaloo. Her parents said the exact same thing when they died. Wait! It all makes sense know. The fading color and the loss of power. Discord was......dying. "Your.....your dying?!" Scootaloo asked with worry. The others were surprised as they could be.
"How can that be? Discord should be immortal he can't die!" Spike yelled. Discord frowned. "Well Spike. You see no one can truly be immortal. Even Celestia and Luna have their time to pass. Though it maybe when your all gone it will come to pass. Its just my time to go on. Hmph. Looks like I lose that bet. Looks like I am going out first." Discord said. His legs started to disappear in the yellow flame as it traveled up his body. The group of four pounced on Discord and hugged him with extreme force.
"No! Ya can't just leave! How are we suppose to get home?" Applebloom screamed. "We don't want you to go! Your the best teacher we ever had!" Sweetie Belle plead. "Even though you were a jerk to us you are good inside I know it! Don't leave!" Spike yelled. Discord heart broke at this site. His heart even broke more when he saw Scootaloo. She was crying. "Please........don't go. I've already lost my parents and even though I only know you for two days. I consider you to be part of my family. So please don't go." She said softly.
"I'm sorry Scootaloo. I wish I could." Discord said softly into her ear. He could feel it coming. Any second know it would be all over. Then it happened. His chest felt all warm and fuzzy. He gave the kids one last smile before a flash of bright yellow light engulfed them. When it cleared there was nothing of Discord left. Well except for a little parting gift. A group of four decorated boxes lay in front of the fillies and dragon. Each of the boxes were color coded to it's owner.
Spike heard a four pings behind him. He turned around to see that all of their stuff was gone. "Thats just great." Spike said as he face palmed. Scootaloo was crying rivers now. She felt that same weakness from when her parents died. She felt as if she could of done something to prevent this, but deep down she knew there was nothing she could do. There was a flash of purple a few yards away. The kids looked at what was there. They were surprised to see that Twilight, Rarity, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash were there.
The kids ran to the adults with great speed. Rainbow Dash gasped when she saw that Scootaloo was crying. "Oh wait till I get my hooves on that creep!" She yelled. Scootaloo tried to say something, but couldn't find the strength to. "He is gone." Spike said looking at the ground. "Spike what do you mean by gone?" Twilight asked. " He means Discord is dead." Applebloom stated. She to looked at the ground. The four mares looked astonished. "Ho.......How is that even possible?" Rarity asked with a worried face. " Can we go home now? I don't want to be here anymore." Sweetie Belle said. Rarity could tell she was on the verge of tears.
Rarity gave Twilight a pleading stare. Twilight nodded as she cast the spell. She was finding it difficult this time. "May I be of assistance?" A familiar female voice came from above them. It was Princess Luna. "Princess! What are you doing here?" Twilight asked. "This is the plain of dreams. Its used many times by me. I didn't know Discord was here until a few hours ago. Sorry I couldn't have been here to help." Princess Luna said. "Its okay. We need to get these girls and Spike home. Do you think you can help us?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Why of course." Princess Luna's horn lit up as she helped guide Twilight's spell. Within a few seconds Twilight, Spike, Sweetie Belle, Applebloom, Scootaloo, Rarity, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash were transported back to the library from were they stated.
It was there were everything fell apart. Spike just fell on his knees with his claw on the ground below him. He was in a state of shock. Sweetie Belle was softly weeping into Rarity's fur. Applebloom tried to be strong, but a few tears leaked out from her eyes. "It okay now sugarcube. Why don't you tell us about it in the morning?" Applejack suggested. Applebloom nodded. Twilight picked up a purple and green present. "What is this?" She asked as her magic pulled the bow. With a pop Spike's bed and things appeared right before them.
There was a pale peach box with a bow just like Applebloom. The was an orange and purple box. Then was was a light pink and purple box.The others decided not to open the boxes until they were all home. "Well this was an eventful week." Twilight said to herself.
The morning sun broke through the glass window of the upstairs library were Spike and Twilight slept. Spike woke up with a yawn. It seemed like years that the event happened between Discord , him, and the three fillies. It turns out that it only happened yesterday. Spike was sad. He had lost a very good friend. Spike himself was taken back from what he just thought, but he knew it was true.
Discord had some how managed to win not only his trust, but his friendship too. Now that he thought about it Discord did seem funny and trustworthy. He just had a bad start thats all. Order was never Discord's strong point, but he just need a little help. Spike sat in his bed with only his thoughts to keep him company while Twilight slept. She had worked so hard and long to find him that Princess Celestia had ordered her to stop any studying for a while to recover. Spike was happy that Twilight was finally getting some rest.
Out of the corner of his eye Spike could see that in the box that once held his bed and stuff was now glowing a purple light. Spike got up and slowly walked over to the box. His morning grogginess was starting to get to him. Spike knew that he had to keep going. Once Spike reached the box he looked inside to find a envelope with a rainbow seal on it. Spike was curious. what was a envelope doing here. Spike reached into the box and pulled out the envelope. It was addressed to him. Now Spike's was getting more curious. Spike opened the it. Inside was a letter. Spike started to read it.
Dear Spike,
If your reading this than that means that I have past one. I won't care if you decided to just throw away this paper. I probably don't deserve to even talk to you, but here I go. Spike you are a special kid. More special than you know. I wish I could see the day that you unlock your full potential, but time had other plans. I only regrets the acts that I have committed in the past, but you can't change the past can you. Also that I wasn't able to see what a great man your going to turn out to be. Oops I can't let too much slip can I? Your just going to have to find out what happens in the future by yourself. Have many chaotic adventures!

Spike let a few tears drop from his face. These weren't tears just tears of sorrow, but tears of joy as well. "I'll miss you Discord. We will miss you." Spike said softly to himself.
With Sweetie Belle
Sweetie wasn't able to get must sleep last night. The thought of Discord was displayed heavily on her mind. It was a sad time to go through right now. The loss of a friend was something that was stuck in her thoughts for the longest. The white box that used to hold her stuff and her bed laid on Sweetie Belle's chest. A light began to shine out of it. Sweetie Belle reached inside hoping to pull out something that would help her. Inside she found an envelope with a rainbow seal, it was also addressed to her. Sweetie Belle used her magic to open the envelope and pull out what ever was inside it. It turned out to be a letter.
Dear Sweetie Belle,
I know this probably not a good to write to you about this, but I will anyway. Sweetie Belle you are one of the most talented ponies I have ever seen. You still need to be a little bit open minded, but your still awesome in my books. Keep singing you tune and I'm sure the whole world will want to hear more. I can see it now. Your going to be great. I only wish I could see you and your friend at the top of the world, but I guess I wasn't meant for that. Just keep on singing Sweetie Belle. Keep on singing.

Sweetie Belle couldn't believe it. She had gotten a letter from Discord. It was filled with emotion she could tell. A few tears streaked down her face. "I will Discord. I will continue to sing for all of Equestria and even the whole world. After all it is my talent." Sweetie Belle said. There was a flash. Sweetie Belle looked down to find that her cutie mark appeared. It was a treble cleft with musical notes around it.
With Applebloom
Applebloom had woke up earlier that she is used to. Its just that when your friend that you just met dies a few days after you meet them it can really leave an imprint on your mind. "Whats wrong sugar?" asked a sunflower that sat in a pot beside Applebloom as she looked out the window. "Its nothing Maple. Okay ah take it back. Its just that...... a friend of mine past away and ah just feel so useless. Ah could have done somethin."Applebloom said as she looked sad. "Listen dear. Not everything you can control. Its nature. I know you don't want to hear it, but you need to hear it. Not everything last forever." Maple the sunflower said. Applebloom sighed because she knew the plant was right.
Behind her a flash of pale peach light came from the box Discord had put her stuff in. Applebloom walked over to it. With her teeth she pulled out an envelope with a rainbow seal. She raised a hoof that glowed a bright red. The envelope was lifted into the air where the top of it was ripped off and a letter was pulled out. Applebloom began to read.
Dear Applebloom,
You awake? Well of course your awake or else you wouldn't be even reading this letter. Applebloom can you promise me one thing? Can you promise me that no matter what you do you always try and fix it? Any mistake, mishaps, or trouble. You always learn from your mistakes you know. I don't want you to be done in the dumps neither. Put a smile on once in a while after you read this. Your destined for great things. I hope your able to follow the right path. Remember you always get smarter from your mistakes and mistakes were meant to be fixed. You can do it Applebloom I have faith in you.

Applebloom didn't know what to say. Discord had really put alot of thought into this. "Mistakes are meant to be fixed. Then I will fix all of the mistakes that I make. This I swear." Applebloom said. There was a flash on her flank as she saw it. Her cutie mark. It was an apple with a wrench on top of it. Applebloom beamed.
With Scootaloo
Scootaloo had cried herself to sleep. It was a tough moment for her. She had just lost somepony who see considered to be part of her family. Scootaloo felt so useless. She couldn't help, but to feel that way. Scootaloo almost didn't notice that the purple and orange box that once held her bed and her other stuff. With her chaotic magic she lifted the item in the box. A rainbow sealed envelope that was addressed to her. She opened it to find a tear stained letter.
Dear Scootaloo,
Please don't cry on this letter. I don't think it can take anymore. Scootaloo. I always thought of you as my daughter I never had. I wanted to stay by your side and see you grow into the wonderful mare I know you will become. Sadly I won't be able to do that. I have something to tell you. Draconequuses never truly die. Our magic is spread throughout the entire world. It is what you ponies and us called chaos. Also don't waste your time being sad that I have past on. There was nothing you could have done to prevent that. Speed on to the future, but don't forget about the past. You will always be my little bundle of chaos. I only wish I could see you one last time.

Scootaloo help the letter close to her heart. "I won't forget you. I will continue on into the future, but I will not forget the past. I will speed forward just like Rainbow Dash." Scootaloo said as her flank flashed. A picture of a purple lightning bolt appeared as her cutie mark. Scootaloo barely noticed as she drifted off to sleep.
It had been two months since the events of what the ponies call the 'Last Act of Discord'. Twilight, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Applejack were all surprised at the kid's talents. Now that they had the powers of Chaos it was a little tough from the start. The moment Twilight knew that Spike, Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, and Applebloom had chaotic powers she took them to Princess Celestia. Not even she could remove the chaotic powers for if she did they children's personality would be altered dramatically or they could perish in the next week. Not even Princess Luna could help. The four mares decided to let the children be. When the other girls found out about what happened they had mixed reactions. Pinkie Pie was jumping a little bit when she heard that Discord hadn't been set in stone, but her happiness quickly died when she heard that he past away. Her mane was flat and dull for a while. When they told Fluttershy she ducked under the table for protection at first, but when she was told about Discord's passing she wept along with the children.
Two months had passed, but not everypony was sad about the event. Almost all of Equestria had rejoiced at the mentioning of that the Spirit of Chaos was no more. Some even through wild parties which drove Pinkie Pie further into her depression. Two months had passed since the girls had gotten their cutie marks. No longer where they made fun of by the others, but at as always hatred always finds its way through cracks and finds another reason why to separate individuals from the pack. None the less Sweetie Belle kept on singing for the whole world to hear. She even heard rumors of high-class ponies asking if she would sing for his/her's dance studio or something like that. Scootaloo has gotten a spot in the Wonderbolt's training camp for the summer due to her speeds. Some might say that one day she might outrun Rainbow Dash. Applebloom has opened up her own little company. Its just something to help others and make a little money on the side, but either way she was happy. Spike was still in the library with Twilight, but with his chaotic powers he can now travel from different worlds and return before Twilight even notices.
It has been two months and now the nine ponies plus Spike the dragon were now on their way to Discord's funeral. Since there wasn't a body they put in pictures of Discord into a medium box. The box had random stuff in it. Some pictures, a sealed glass of chocolate milk, a cupcake, a book, a rainbow bolt pin, a yellow gem, a flower and a photo album. The photo album was from Celestia and Luna. It was the least they could do. The photo album had at least four pictures of Luna, Celestia, and Discord as friends in the past. As the box was sealed words of departure were spoken. Spike went first. "Discord. You might have been a jerk to everypony here, but after those two days we spent together even if we didn't see you I could tell you were with us. I hope my words reach you safely and I just want to say.....(sniff)...that I think of you as a brother I never had. You cared for us in those last days of yours and all I have to say now is thanks." Spike kept his eyes on the ground as he spoke, he didn't dare to look up.
Sweetie Belle stepped forward. "Mister Discord. I don't know a lot about you or your history with the Princesses, but I know you had some good in you. You should it to us in the time that we were together and I'm very thankful that you showed us such kindness. I'm going to miss you." Sweetie Belle bowed her head as she stepped back allowing Applebloom step forward in her place. "Ah never thought you to be evil Discord. Ya'll was just misunderstood. Ah know that feelin'. The feelin' that your different, but ah don't want to go on about my life. Ah don't know much 'bout ya'll's either, but ah know you could have done greater things. Ah just wish you didn't have to leave so soon." Applebloom finished and let Scootaloo go. The box was now fully in the hole and was having dirt thrown on it. The whole event felt familiar to Scootaloo. Of course it would, she has been in this situation before. This time however Scootaloo wasn't going to stay quiet. "I have to admit. From the first site of you when you took us from our homes made me want to brutally destroy you with my own two hooves. I could have done that easily in the state that you were in, but I didn't for some reason. I normally listen to my instincts so I went with the flow. When the others were fast asleep I could feel your presence. I was kind of cold that night and my cloud cover wasn't working so instead of using your magic to make a new blanket to keep me warm you coiled around me." Scootaloo stopped to let a few tears fall.
"It felt like something my mother and father would do for us when we were cold. That feeling....... it was as if I had my dad back. After that night I considered you to be part of my family and that you world always be there to help me through rough times. I guess I was wrong. Well like you told me. Don't dwell on the past too long. I just wanted to say goodbye and that I hope to see you again." With those words a weight had lifted off the children. It was as if a presence had been there for a long time and was now gone. Scootaloo knew what had happened. Discord's spirit was now finally in peace. Tears broke free from the little filly's face. Rainbow Dash put a wing around her little sister as she and her walked back home. The others had stayed for a while longer. The hole was now sealed and there was nothing left to do. They had all went home to relax for a while before doing anything at all.
Later after many trips to a therapist Pinkie Pie was back to her normal self. Well as normal as Pinkie could be. Sweetie Belle had been signed up for a singing arts group that would be starting this summer. Applebloom's business boomed. Even though she is very young she already as a college letter asking her to join an academy for advance tech. Scootaloo now has a part in some plays that are held in Canterlot. She is paid a decent amount of bits for a filly her age. Spike has been know throughout the multiverse for being a hero and he is now receiving metals of honor and courage. Sadly that is a tale for another time.
Even though through out the time the children have spent together laughing, playing, or just hanging out. They never forgot about Discord. Sometimes they would make a little chaos every other week. It was a tradition that was forever know to them as the last tradition to the final chapter of the life of the one known as Discord.
