Breach and Clear

A classic story of military soldiers in Equestria. This story has five of them.

It was a typical breach and clear mission to start the day. A simple mission for Shane's tasking group: Go in, take out the target, leave for a shot at the bar back home in the States. Sometimes things don't go as planned. It all started with one rocket launcher...

Darkness enveloped a small room. It was damp, depressing, and just not a good place to be in. An old wooden door sat at the end of this room. The walls began to creep an eerie screech. The wall paper of pink flowers began to peel back. The ceiling started to leek water onto the walls. A person lay unconscious and bloodied in a corner. She moved her head, suddenly stopping and screaming when a sharp jolt of pain struck her. Raising her hand to her neck, she feels a sharp serrated edge. The women didn't know what was happening as newly made blood started to flood down her neck. She looked down at her shirt, careful not to cause anymore agony. she wore a white shirt, blood completely covering the right side. She tried to stand up, only to find her ankle completely twisted 180 degrees. Another shriek and more blood.

A rusted bed was not too far away from her as it sat in the corner next to her. The room itself was small. A small note on the door began to flutter into the air, disintegrating into the air. A large piece flew over into the girl's facial area. There was writing in different colors of the rainbow reading "DISCORD"

The women thought for a moment. But then a memory flashed before her. Five soldiers, each having different skills. One was a medic, a sniper, an assault specialist, explosive specialist, and there was a leader. They all had skills of navy SEALS. There was a large corrupt memory which didn't make sense.

She still wondered about some of the things going on. Where was she? Why does she have a blade in her neck? What is happening to the room she is in?

Dizzy, this was all she felt. On last memory came through. She was in an old castle, very old, but still inhabited. She looked to her side to see she was walking with someone. It was the five other people, only they were all running from something. She looked back. Everything went blank when she grew a yellow aura around herself.

The girl breathed one last time before staring up onto the ceiling. She pulled all of her strength together and pulled herself onto the bed. Her eyes danced the dark room. Her vision grew black around the edges. She put her hand up to her neck, grabbing the knife. She pulled, more blood spat out. It eventually came out with a sickening *shlip*

She immediately dropped the knife from her lifeless hands. Her mouth foamed and she finally passed from the world, freed from her physical body.

Shane sat up in his cold, iron seat. briefing took longer than usual. The Sergent Major barked commands at Shane's squad.

"Infiltrate the compound and take out the drug lord!"

A large screen flashed behind him, showing a blue map of the compound and surrounding areas. They were stereotypical mud houses from old cartoons. The neon lights ran in a grid fashion the screen was just blue plastic.

"Any questions?" He looked around the group. No one even moved,"Fantastic. Report to the armory for supplies if needed. We ship out at 2200 hours." Everyone shuffled out like kids out of a math room. Only they first saluted to the Sargent and left at a small hustle. They left their yellow and tan camouflaged tent, across the sand path to the armory. Another tent, a little bit larger, sat resisting the dessert winds. The five walked in to see an entire new scene. There was a table in the far corner in the back left side of the tent. The same white table you would see at college parties.

Multiple weapons sat idle. A man in a tan pixelated suit stared at the five people, four guys and one girl.

"Have at it men." He said as he walked over to a near by table with multiple papers and files. A thick man from the group picked up a flak jacket from a hook in the wall. Sliding it on he tested the chest part. The jacket responded with a solid knock noise.

"Nice." He said as he looked around for something. He found an old sharpie on the desk. He grasped it. Taking off the cap, he wrote "James" on the right chest piece. The girl in the group laughed, taking off her black sunglasses and staring at the letters.

"You wrote it backwards." James blushed, trying to cross the name out and instead write "Bang" the right way. He put the marker back and walked back to the table. An old M240 machine gun awaited him. He picked it up by the barrel, putting his other hand on the trigger.

"Awesome." Escaped his lips.

The girl walked up to the table. She stared at a weapon perfect for her. An M-24 sniper rifle. She picked it up, staring at it in all of its glory. She didn't need to write her name on her weapon or suit. Her shirt had her name on it already and the weapon had her name written all over it.

"Carly gotcha'" She said.

Shane walked over to the table. Putting on a Mollie vest and picking up an M-4 Carbine. His name was also etched into his shirt.

Another young man walked up. He couldn't decide what weapon to pick up. After a about a minute James finally blurted out.

"Dammit, Chuck! Just get the damn shotgun" Chuck did as he was told and picked up the M-1014 shotgun.

The last boy in the group walked up. He had a huge grin on his face. He had to choose between two different guns: an Barrett REC7 or a Robinson Armament XCR. He decided on the Barrett REC7 and then the whole group started loading on equipment. C-4 for "Bang". Thermal scope for Carly "Shot". Extra mags for Shane "Lead". A red dotted scope for Mark "Clear". Another medical kit for Chuck "Needles".

They exited the tent and went back into the briefing tent. Everyone found a seat. Either on a table or took a knee on the ground. Shane kneeled down and used his index and middle fingers to draw in the dirt.

"Okay." Shane started,"It is just a simple go in shoot and leave." He proceeded to draw a giant "X","This is us" He said. Shane drew a large line into a large box labeled "Town","Simple enough. If something goes wrong, make your way to the outskirts and regroup to the north."He drew a giant "X" over the end of the line which runs through town. He then put five new ones sprouting out of random spots in the box and then coming together at the top of the box."There we will call in an extraction."

"can't we just carpet bomb the damn place?" James asked, walking up and stomping on the box.

"Too many civilians."

"How come they have to send us in?" Carly asked,"Sounds like I won't even be needed unless I can set up a position in the north where we will be extracted anyway."

"you have an M9 don't you? Just use it and get an AK or ask to get a new gun from the armory." Shane responded while standing up."Any further questions?"

He checked his watch 9:29 PM.

"It's almost time. Get any last minute supplies and meet back in the court yard when your done."

~~~~~ 30 minutes later~~~~~
A Black Hawk stealth helicopter waited idle for the five. Shane checked his watch.
"It's time! Load onto the helicopter!"
The five shuffled onto the Black Hawk stealth helicopter as the pilots finished drinking their cups of coffee and started the engine. The equipment came to life as the rotters started to rotate. Carly played with her new M4 MWS. Mark couldn't help but laugh at her new gun.
The helicopter lifted off the ground and slowly risen. Shane saluted the commander as they left.
They went over weapon procedures and plans. They watched as a large body of water passed by. Shimmering water was the only thing the five wanted. They were all thirsty and the "Water" they had at camp was horrible. James bet it was clear liquid mud.
A small village came into view. Shane ducked and walked forward from his seat to the pilots.
"You know what to do?" Shane yelled over the rotters. The pilot nodded.
"Yeah, we drop you off and come back at the extraction point." He said grasping the foam piece on his head set. Shane responded with a pat on his shoulder and rejoining his team. Mark stared at the large Mini gun folded next to the door. Drool almost dripped down to the floor. James could almost feel the same if he didn't have such a large gun himself. They started to lower to the ground when suddenly Shane and Carly both saw the worst sight possible.
"RPG!" they screamed in unison. The propelled grenade exploded right in the door when there was a silence. Dead silence. Shane tried to open his eyes. He was in the helicopter. Everything had stopped. James was stuck in the moment he got up from his seat. Carly was in the air from jumping back. He had his finger pointed at the rpg. Mark had his gun pointed at the shooter. Chuck was in a fetal position. The RPG was frozen in the cabin, fire was still.
"What is going on here?" Shane tried to open his mouth but nothing happened. Suddenly everything went blank. He heard beeping as he opened his eyes again. The helicopter was still in flight. The pilots were struggling with the equipment. His team were all in the seats, strapped in. they were all passed out. He was passed out against the closed door to the side. Carly woke up first. She unbuckled her seat and grabbed her gun, coming to my aid first.
"Are you okay?" She yelled, trying to over come the noise. The beeping stopped and the helicopter became level.
"Yeah." Shane responded. He stood up and grabbed his gun. He and Carly unbuckled the rest of the team and tried to wake them up. Minutes went by as one by one the group woke up.
"Hey guys!" One of the pilots screamed,"Check this out!"
They opened the other door and checked bellow. It was a huge castle with black dots flying around. It sat on the side of a large pointy mountain. Snow capped the top. The castle looked like a community. One large tower stood out against everything else. Why? Because they were just about to hit it.
"HOLD ON!" The one pilot screamed. The helicopter swerved around the tower. Unforchantly, a large BOOM sounded and the helicopter was lodged through the ceiling of one of the buildings. The wind shield was covered with a green substance. The pilot to the left was dead, a large chuck of concrete had penetrated the door and just annihilated his body. Shane looked down. A large white body lay motionless. The hair of said animal was waving. It had wings and what looked like a horn. It was definitely a horse. A sudden jut and he was falling. His footing had proved fatal and he fell toward the animal. The fall was not that far. The tail had caught onto the roof material and so the fall was about eight feet.
Shane landed next to the animal. It opened its eyes and they instantly dilated.
"Don't worry! I'll get you out of here!" Shane yelled as he picked up the horse around the waist and over his shoulder. He walked a few meters before he fell. Something black had tripped him. The horse slid a few feet away it was angled so it had a full view of the room. It saw the creature that saved her. A black pony with opaque blue eyes and many clean holes in their hooves stood before this creature. She saw him pull out a funny shaped black thing. He pulled a piece of intruding material and the changeling's head exploded into green gush with a loud BANG.
The next thing he knew, an army of them were on him. But then he screamed,"WATCH OUT!" Shane was suddenly covering Celestia's face with his body as the helicopter fell onto the ground, covering everything with dust and ceramic panel.
Celestia didn't know what had just happened. She felt immense pain in her back leg. She tried to open her eyes. She was now outside. A funny looking creature with a large red cross on his clothes was doing something with her back leg. She saw four others. Each one had a different piece of metal with fire shooting out.
"She's waking up!" The creature with her leg screamed.
"Get her and let's go! We need a good vantage point!" Shane screamed. He looked back at the medic. He sighed,"Fuck, James help him with the damn horse!"
"Roger!"
The next thing she knew, two creatures were carrying her and the other three were running ahead, dropping changelings faster than Shinning Armor or any Royal Guard could even think of.
"Last mag!" Carly screamed.
"We need to keep moving!"
Celestia closed her eyes. She passed out when there was a sudden poke in her leg.
"Just go to sleep little horsey" a familiar voice said.
Celestia woke up in a familiar room. A marble floor and a large bed in the corner. The wooden dresser covered the door. She tried to stand up. She wobbled a little. She focused her energy to her horn. It glowed yellow while her leg also glowed yellow. She fell on to the the ground. Her leg was healed. Chuck was amazed. So was the rest of the four.
"Snap out of it group! James, help me with this bed!" Shane commanded. James and Shane moved the bed and flipped it vertical."Help me move it to the window! James?" Shane looked down where the bed was previously positioned. There was a terrified Prince Blueblood. His light grey coat ruffled and his rose looked as if it had seen hell. His horn was slightly glowing. There was also a distracted James looking at him.
"W-w-who a-are y-you? D-did m-my aunt v-vanquish these c-changelings?" He asked.
"Did that horse just talk?" Carly asked, leaning against the door as Mark flipped the dresser do it could cover both doors.
Prince Blueblood looked around the room. His gaze met with Celestia and he quickly sprinted over to her.
"What the hell is going on here?" Shane screamed,"Chuck, go check on the horses!"
Chuck did as he was told and walked to the horses. The next thing he knew, he was at the other side of the room. Everyone had their gun pointed at the two horses.
"Don't.Call.Me.A.Horse."Prince Blueblood had his horn glowing.
"Shit is hitting the fan and all you care about is being called a horse?!"
Prince thought for a moment before growing a little ashamed of himself.
"I-I'm sorry."
"It's funny how we just met some talking horses and now they're all okay with aliens in their city!"Mark expressed he pushed the door back with the dresser.
Princess Celestia tried to stand up. After moving the bed, Shane looked at Chuck. He easily could have got a severe injury, but he only had a spinning head. Shane moved to her side and guided her to a large pillow on the floor from the bed. She rejected the will to lay down. Instead she mumbled something while looking at Shane.
James got closer to her face,"What do you need?" he asked.
"Go...the castle...help them...leave me..." Celestia said before she collapsed onto the pillow, trying to regain as much energy as possible.
"Think she wants us to go save someone."James explained,"Somewhere in that castle we crashed in."
"Okay then. Chuck and Carly. You guys stay with the horses. Mark, James, you're on me."
Chuck shook his head to relieve a nasty headache. He walked over to Carly and asked,"Can you see if my migraine pills are in my med kit?"
Carly just shook her head,"Sure."
Shane and James moved the dresser from one of the door while Mark took out targets nearest the door.
"How many of these fucks are there?" Mark screamed as his gun roared into the sky.
"We're Oscar Mike, let's go!" Shane yelled as the three sprinted down the path from the tall tower into the main castle.
"Is know the best time for that?" Mark asked, huffing and puffing as they progressed down.
"Yeah, you only live once after all!" Shane responded. Shane kept running while James stopped to catch his breathe. His large machine gun had slowed him down.
"Wait up, guys!" He yelled ahead. Mark rolled his eyes. Shane stopped and grabbed him by his Flak vest and they kept running with Shane towing James while he was dragged on his ass. At least he could cover them with him gun.
They came up to some familiar doors. Mark used his shoulder and rammed in the door. He waited for all of James to enter before he slammed the door. The helicopter was surprisingly undamaged. Just the rotters and the tail were really messed up. The black exterior was now grey with color form the dust and asbestos from the old castle. A narrow opening was available to get past the entire crash.
Shane pulled James off his ass.
"Get off your ass and cover us!" Shane exclaimed as he and Mark walked over to the opening. Mark entered first. A quick search of the room proved that this crash was indeed devastating enough to kill the black things. Mark waved in Shane. Mark took position by another set of huge doors. Shane then waited by while James crawled through the opening.
"Holy shit! Could this hole get any more compact?" James questioned.
"Just get through." Shane rolled his eyes at James.
James finally got through and they all got ready to penetrate the door. Shane, James, and Mark had a Rock, Paper, Scissors game to decide who got to kick in the door and be vulnerable for a few seconds. James threw rock. Mark threw paper and Shane threw scissors. They did it again. James, again, threw a rock. Mark threw a rock. Shane threw paper. Accepting defeat, Shane got ready to bust down the door. He started some fake limber up techniques. Then he went into push ups. He finished it off with squat thrusts.
"Hurry up dammit!" Mark whispered loudly. Shane finally got ready. He put his gun under his am and charged. He made contact but was knocked back.
"OWWW!" He screamed as his bone rattled. James walked up to the door hinges and set a piece of C4 next to each one closest to the ground.
"This shit is going to go sky high." He said as he put his last piece in the front of the doors.
"Do you really want to waste that C4?" Shane asked. James nodded,"Well, I'm not sure of we can resupply in a world ruled by a horse."
"I'm sure." James reassured.
"Well, fire when ready." Shane said while helping Mark use a knocked over column for cover. James shook his head and slowly walked behind cover.
"Firing in 3...2...1." In a glorious fireball, the doors were ripped off their hinges. One didn't go flying in as expected. Instead it was held in place by a green force field. The other went tumbling in.
8 figures came running out of the room from the huge gap in the wall where a large golden door once stood moments ago. One was a pink pony with a straight pink mane. Three balloons sat on her flank. Another was orange with a blonde mane and three apples on her flank. Another was yellow with a pink mane covering part of her eye. Three butterflies lay motionless on her flank. Another pony was white with a poofy purple mane and three rubes lay on her flank. One was a light blue color with a rainbow mane and a lightning lightning flash on her flank. The last small pony was purple and had a black mane with one streak of pink. She had three sparkles on her flank.
There was one larger horse. White and in a red suit. It's mane was different shades of blue. A shield was being sported on it's flank. The last horse, another pink one, had warm colored hair colors. She wore a tore up dress. She looked as if she was ready for a wedding. Now seeing them a little closer, the purple and both of the white ponies had horns and so did the tall pink one. The blue and yellow ones had wings. So did the tall pink ones. The dragon was purple,small and had a green stomach
Shane looked down at James who had set up his gun's bi pod and was ready to shoot anything that moved. Mark had moved to the opening and covered it with his gun.
They all stopped dead in their tracks.
"Is that what caused the explosion?" The purple one asked.
A large black pony, like the ones the humans were killing, came out of the room with multiple smaller black ponies following her.
"Oh shit!" Mark exclaimed,"I call dibs on gigantor over there!"
"Gigantor" looked at him. She looked at his weird shaped weapons and took it as a threat.
"Bullshit, I can take her out and everything around her!" James bragged.
"Just start shooting dumb asses!" Shane screamed as the three started to fire on the black things. Shane stopped and waved over the colored ponies. They all covered their ears with their hooves except for the tall white one. He stepped forward as the shooting stopped. Shane looked at Mark.
"Get through there and cover us." Shane said, pointing through the hole. He looked back at the large horse,"Are you leading these horses?" Shane asked. He only nodded."We were sent by some large white horse with a flowing rainbow mane." The horse's eyes dilated. He was suddenly shoved aside by the tall pink mare.
"You have my aunt?!" She exclaimed. She put her fore hooves on Shane's chest."TAKE US TO HER!" She shouted.
"Uh, we saved her life multiple times. Surprised you don't show some kind of respect." Shane looked at the mare. She sheepishly turned away and slowly trotted away.
"Sorry about her. We have just been through too much and we're just glad to escape Chrysalis."
"Isn't it funny how the writer of this fanfiction doesn't have us extremely scared of you creatures." The small pink laughed bouncing around with her know puffy mane. The three humans stared at her, so curious they might have turned into cats.(Bad joke, I know.)
"Don't mind her, sugarcube." The orange mare explained.
"Can we just take you guys to the giant white horse?" James blurted out as he stood up and packed his bi pod. Each pony had a face of disgust.
"Did you just call the most powerful pony in Equestria a horse?" The blue pony asked as she some how used her wings to levitate right in front of Jame's face.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Shane warned, pulling away the mare,"He could break that pillar in half faster than you can say 'crushed."
"Pfft, you wish." The mare bet.
"While I prove you wrong."James started," Everyone else file out that way."James pointed to the opening in front of the helicopter.
"And by the way" the mare started as she was just about to exit,"crushe-" BANG! She looked back at James who was brushing off his elbow. The mare stood shell shocked, her mouth lying on the floor.
The group had gotten back safely and were greeted by Chuck and Carly with a healed Princess and annoying prince. Chuck was asleep on the bed which was know right side up. Shane didn't realize how late it was. Checking his watch he saw the time 10:34 PM. Carly had her sniper and was taking out targets with ease. The purple pony and white stallion were especially excited to see the princess.
"So." James started,"We are expecting a reward you know." All of his human comrades, except Chuck, looked at him with a "Are you fucking kidding me?" face.
"Yes, of course there will be a reward." The princess replied, not showing any signs of stress or annoyance.
How the hell is she not freaking out right now? Shane thought as he approached her. She looked at him with a listening look and just when he was just about to speak, a familiar blue pony appeared right in front of him.
"PRINCESS! THEY CAN BREAK STONE WITH JUST THEIR HOOVES!"
The princess looked at her with a slight hint of disbelief.
"Uhh, hands." Mark corrected as he walked over to the bed with a feather covered with ink at the bottom.
"What are you doing?" James asked.
"This is their version of a Sharpie." He answered as he started to go to town on Chuck's face.
"How did you break it?" Rainbow Dash asked, as Shane talked with the princess.
"I have done things that would make your head spin at the thought!" James joked as Rainbow Dash smiled wide.
"How come you haven't snapped under pressure? You know, being princess and leader of all of these ponies?" Shane asked.
"It takes centuries of practice."She reassured"I guess your the leader of your...group?"
"Yes, ma'am." Shane said with pride.
"What exactly was that object that you saved me from?" She asked with a poisoning glance. The entire room grew quiet.
"They're called helicopters ma'am." Shane explained,"They fly to great heights and ours crashed."
"What heights?" Celestia asked, curious with the new information.
"Great heights." Shane answered.
"Does the helicopter still have the parachutes?" James asked as he walked over, Rainbow Dash traveled behind.
"If there was, they would have been demolished in the crash."
"Damn."
"Both pilots are dead, right?" Carly asked, concern plastered on her face. Shane looked at her.
"I remember one of them being crushed, the other was probably killed from shock."
Carly nodded and returned to her sniper.
"Pilots?" Celestia looked on with uncertainty.
"Yeah, they require specially trained people to operate it."
"People spend all of their lives at this?" Twilight asked.
"Some do, others retire and live a different job." Shane told her.
"Could only imagine what their cutie marks could be." Twilight pondered, rubbing her chin with her fore hoof.
"Cutie what?" Shane asked.
"You don't have cutie marks?"
"Don't even know what those are."
"They represent what you are talented at."
"I have never heard of a human who has had such a thing."
"Well... that's strange for such an intelligent creature not have a specific talent besides dragons."
"Well, we can change what we do for a living."
"Hmm, well I wonder if Ponyville is safe." Twilight pondered as she changed the subject.
"Yeah, if any these things have ruined any of my fabrics, Celestia try to stop my rage." Rarity added on.
James couldn't help but let out a loud,"HA!"
"Or if you touch any of my fabrics, I'll tear you apart too" Rarity commented nonchalantly. James stopped laughing and showed the straightest poker face ever made to exist.
"Fair enough." James finally shrugged.
"The only way from here to the train that goes to Ponyville that is free from changelings and from debris is through the Royal Garden." Celestia pitched in. Walking up to Shane, she pleaded,"Please take care of my little ponies. And also, don't show any violence in front of this one statue that is in a terrified position."
Shane nodded and they all exited, Chuck was still passed out on the bed and decided to stay when he woke up. Probably because the bed was way more soft than the cots in the base back on Earth.
The door opened and James instantly had his gun aimed for any surprises. Following James was Shane, Mark, and Carly who had he other gun out instead of her sniper. A few feet onto the ramp until a cracking on stone echoed around the tower that held all of the ponies and Chuck.
"It's not the tower, guys" Mark commented as cracks ran along the path.
"Run?" James asked.
"RUN!" Shane commanded as the four soldiers sprinted for their lives to prevent a long free fall to their death. A pair of doors sat at the end of the path, one was already open from their adventures outside and inside the castle. James and Shane bulldozed down the doors as everyone else dived into the opening.
Shane shot up to see the bridge collapse to the ground. He looked at the tower, the five ponies were still in the door way. The blue one was on the bridge and used her wings to fly up when it started to collapse.
"ARE YOU PONIES OK?" Shane yelled, cuffing his hands around his mouth to act as a megaphone like effect.
"WE'RE FINE!" Twilight called back.
"HOW ARE YOU PONIES GOING TO GET DOWN?"
"YOU GO AHEAD, WE WILL MEET AT THE TRAIN!"
"ROGER THAT!"
Shane turned around and lead his group into the castle.
'It's weird' Shane thought,'I am attracted to...Celestia, and she's a damn pony!'
'This is a new event' Celestia imagined,'I wonder if my ponies will ever be the same again? Wait a minute, what is this feeling? I haven't felt this feeling in centuries. It has to do with...Shane. Not since Luna and Celestia... oh no. i think I may love Shane.' Celestia's face had a pitch of shock smeared on. Shinning Armor trotted over
"Ma'am." He bowed,"The bridge has collapsed!"
"Was Shane and his group okay?"
"As far as I know, they ran to the other side when it started to collapse."
"Okay. I will be back soon." Celestia walked over to the door way where all the other ponies gladly moved out oof her way. She spread her wings and took flight towards Shane and his group. Cadence was curious on what she would do since her concern for her aunt's facial expression so she followed in quick pursuit. The other ponies were seeing if Chuck could answer more questions about his anatomy.
Cadence took shelter above a hole in the ceiling that was not being guarded by the changelings. She looked down at Celestia who was talking to Shane's group. Shane then went back to his group and said something and then pointed at the direction of the train. She couldn't hear anything from below. Celestia began to walk away with Shane trailing behind.Cadence decided to use a spell that let her walk on the ceiling with ease. She was in thought while she trailed behind.
"What do you want to talk about?" Shane asked.
"You know how powerful I am right?" She asked.
"If you are anything like a president, very powerful."
"Well as you have noticed, I can not bring my self to killing these creatures." The two drove themselves nearer to the helicopter.
"Yeah, but it seems like it's in your good nature not to kill. I'm not mad at you for not doing your share."
"Would you mind being my PERSONAL bodyguard while this invasion lasts."
"Uh, sure. I guess."
Celestia smiled. They continued to move towards the helicopter while the talks became more and more personal.
They were right next to the pilot's door when Celestia got real close to Shane. They both secretly enjoyed it.
The next thing they both knew, the door swung open and the body of the pilot hung out. This scared Celestia to the point where she jumped in the air. She never saw such a scary sight in centuries. She landed in Shane's arms. His hard manhood rubbed against her slightly wet clitoris. Shane had a gun pointed at the event, fearful a changeling tried to create an ambush.
Celestia blushed at knowing Shane had a slight hard on. Shane knew Celestia was slightly wet from their past conversation.
"Well." Celestia giggled. She wondered how she could feel him from beneath all the fabrics. Shane and Celestia were getting harder and wetter by the minute. Shane slowly let her down. She was heavy and needed to be carried by the legs. She noticed a wet spot on his crotch from her. She used one of her hooves that had an absent horseshoe and tried to rub it off.
'Damn her hoof is soft.' Shane thought,"What are you doing?" Shane said instead.
"I left a -uh- wet spot."
Shane began to blush, Her hoof slowly and softly grinding against his hard on was almost orgasmic.
She thought for a moment,"Wait, why didn't I use magic?" she whispered to herself. She had realized what she was doing to Shane, her cheeks a bright red. She looked at Shane's face who was looking directly at her.
"Done yet?" he asked. She looked at her 'work area'. All she did was smear the juices.
Cadence didn't know what was happening down there. All she knew was that Celestia was doing to Shane's pants. Or maybe it was... No, it couldn't be. She tried to use magic but came to the same conclusion: Celestia and Shane were in love.
CH.3 End Of Invasion
Cadence could only look on with a face of pure laughter. She used all of her power to stop from herself from laughing. She thought she saw her aunt and this...alien...mate. She didn't see all of it but all she heard was a loud "EEK!" and then she saw the scene seconds later.
Shane holstered his pistol and grabbed his gun that was hanging on to his back by a strap.
"I should really get back to my...uh...friends." Shane grinned as he turned around and took one step before someone stopped him dead in his tracks,"Cadence?" Shane's view was stolen by a familiar pony hanging from the ceiling.
"My dear Cadence!" Celestia wondered how long she stood there on the...ceiling.
"Muhahahaha!" A familiar voice spoke. All three of them looked at The changeling sitting across the room, just exiting from from the old doors in which Shane's group entered.."I would question what I just saw, but I think I got it: this alien and Celestia are in love!"
"Do you realize I could kill you from here?" Shane asked as he pointed to the spot he stood on.
"Yes, and I can see Celestia's juices 'from here' too"
Shane blushed a light pink."Fucker." Shane mumbled. He shook his head,"Wait, what am I doing?" Shane stumbled over in front of Celestia and pulled his pistol and aimed it at Chrysalis,"If you make any hostile movements, I will be forced to use deadly force." Celestia looked at her protector. Chrysalis was twice his size in width and slightly shorter and yet he could stand there and not be intimidated by her.
"Ha! I could take you on, bring it!"
"Ok." Shane said, firing a round into her hoof. The round passed right through her hard shell like it was thin printer paper creating a new hole among the many scattered among her body. Green goop started to drip from the wound as she screamed in agony. The scream turned into a whistle. Shane ran up and plugged her mouth while holding his knife to her throat. She shut right up."Think I can't take you still?"
"hmmf hmmf hmmmmf." Came through Shane's hand. He looked into the room where his group and found the ponies. It looked to be a wedding room. He winked to Celestia before taking off running in to the room. Chrysailis, horrifyingly angry with rage, ran after Shane. He sprinted up the stairs and through the window where he free fell. Looking up at the morning sky and an angry Chrysalis who spread her fly wings and pulled up, letting out an evil laugh.
Shane continued my fall, he noticed changelings zooming past him. Twisting his body to face the ground, he saw hundreds of changelings pooling below.
"Shit!" Shane exclaimed, grabbing onto the castle wall. He pulled out his knife and tried to stab into the castle wall. The idea was scrapped when the knife went flying out of his hand and into a nearby changeling's head killing it.
Shane instead grabbed onto a nearby vine which swung him against the wall like Indiana Jones and his whip.
"I HAVEN'T DONE THIS IN YEARS!" Shane cheered The rope snapped and sent Shane flying right into a tower wall. Attempting to gain a grip, Shane grasped at the wall. The distant sound of a laughing Chrysalis drew louder and louder as she flew closer.
Shane checked his surroundings for anyone, or anything that could save him from certain death. He closed his eyes and watched his life flash before his eyes. His first time riding a bike, first pimple on face, first girlfriend, the time when he got braces, first car, first sex. He regretted nothing. A small tear flashed on his face. He did regret something. He married a girl and she died from a car accident. Fucking drunks. Shane would never get to see his youngest son grow up. He was only three years old.
"I'm sorry." Shane whispered before grasping a grenade in each hand and grabbing the pins in his mouth. The changelings created an ocean that rose to catch him. He threw them at the two main waves, a shattering explosion and massive sound blast rocked the air. Changelings dropped like flies as Shane continued to free fall.
Opening his eyes, Shane saw the ocean disburse towards the horizon followed by a rainbow explosion and a large pink bubble. The bubble passed right through Shane and continued until the entire the entire castle was covered.
THUNK! An explosion of yellow flowers and roses threw grass and dirt into the air.
"Holy mother of Hell!" Shane cried, grasping his left arm which spurted out small amounts of blood from where the humorous ripped through the skin. He tried to stand up and capture his surroundings. He was in a large garden. A set of doors sat towards the left of his vision which would send him into a ballroom looking building. Trees littered the garden and gave peaceful little shadows that danced during a current of wind.
Shane looked at his wound, he landed on his arm and most of the impact was absorbed by the dirt but it still hurt like all hell. On the other side of the door, green goop disintegrated and let free a few stallions in golden armor. Two of them just so happened to be near Shane when he landed. Shane had his pistol ready, at first it was jammed but he quickly resolved the problem and had it ready just in case.
"What in the name of Equestria are you?" Quizzed a perplexed stallion who approached Shane slowly.
"You need to get me to the train out of Canterlot."
"Wha-? Who are you?"
"A stronger, more skilled, and more important as of a few minutes ago, living creature."
"Look, I don't know what you are, who you are, or why you are being a complete foal right now, but I will not help you get to the train!"
"I can penetrate that armor with this device right here." Shane taunted with his pistol.
"Ha, You think that weird looking boomerang could penetrate this armor?"
"I could prove it right now." Shane said pointing it at the chest of the snow white stallion, cocking it.
The stallion didn't understand the sound it made and took second thoughts bout him proving it.
"You need to get to the train station?"
"Yes, quickly."
"Follow me, I guess."
Shane followed this stallion that was already bewildered by this random creature. They both entered the castle and up the steps where a room flooded with guards tried to come up with a plan to find the princesses and start the clean up efforts, if any.
"Oh my Celestia." One guard paused, looking at Shane," It's that creature that saved the princess!"
The escort looked at Shane with shock and then at the stallion who made the accusation.
"Are you serious? i mean look at him, he's wounded!"
"What? Wounded?"
"Looks like he is bleeding out."
"GET A MEDICAL TEAM IN HERE!" The stallion roared out as an ocean of stallions made room for the medical squad. The escort took one step away as three mares with stereotypical nurse outfits covering their body and masks surrounded Shane.
"Hey, what's going on here?" Shane asked as one of the nurses pulled out a needle."G-get away!" Shane started to retreat to his knife which he remembered was probably long gone.
"It's okay little fella." One of the mares promised.
"Oh Hell nah!" Shane protested before breaking into a full sprint towards a door on the opposite side of the room. The stallions aided the nurses in trying to stop him. Shane didn't get to far before feeling a sharp pinch right in his right arm.
"Son of a bit-." Shane went limp. A horse tranquilizer stuck in his arm.
"Where is he?" Carly asked, looking around the platform where just seconds ago it had at least a hundred changelings.
"What happened to the changelings?" James asked, looking up at the tower, the source of the blast.
"I'm going after him." Mark sighed,"The changelings didn't even touch the town we were going anyway."
"I'm going too." Carly joined in.
"I guess I'm coming too." James grinned.
"Should we check ground zero?" Mark laughed, pointing at the source of the bubble explosion.
"I think we should check the hall where we last saw him." Carly shrugged.
"Sounds fair enough." James agreed.
"Fine."Mark pouted.
"HEY!" A familiar voice screamed. The three turned to see a frantic princess running towards them.
"SHANE IS IN TERRIBLE DANGER!" She cried.
"Woah, woah, woah, woah, what happened?"
"He took Chrysalis and he jumped from the window in the castle!"
"Do you know where he could have landed?" Carly asked.
"Maybe the gardens, come I take you!" Princess Celestia started dashing towards the garden.
"For *huff* some *huff* reason I *huff* thought she *huff* would take us *huff* On *huff* her back *puff*!" James sobbed.
"Lazy." Mark heaved.
Chuck roused to see to ponies touching horns, firing a fiery explosion that sent color in every direction. A large pink bubble engulfed the room..
"OH MY GOD!" Chuck exclaimed when it came rocketing towards him.
"EEP!" A yellow pegasus cried as she jumped from Chuck's chest and towards the other side of the room.
"ooh, sorry little pony." Chuck apologized after he realized the bubble wouldn't harm him."What is going on here?"
"I think your friend might." Cadence's lips curled.
"Be what?" Chuck asked concerned.
"In love with the princess!"
"Well that escalated quickly." Chuck stared at the alicorn who fed him this news.
"WHAT?" The mane six catechized in unison.
"I think it's goes the same way around, too."
"Heads will roll when this gets out." Chuck started laughing so hard he collapsed onto the bed.
"I don't know much, I only saw a small amount of what happened."
"Jeez, my friend is already chasing pony tail. How long was I out?"
"Not long enough..." Shinning Armor scoffed, offended by Chuck's remarks.
"He should have landed right around here." Celestia searched the grass for any traces, her horn glowed to pick up a large rock. Behind it sat a familiar knife perpendicular to the ground.*Gasp*
"What's wrong?" James asked, walking over to investigate.
"I found his dagger."
"Really? Can I see it?"
"Sure, here." The knife began to glow yellow as it levitated to James.
"I'm not going to question this." James sighed, obviously used to the strange rules that govern this world. He grasped the leather handle and inspected the steel blade. Eight letters stained each side in scratched black ink.
"Semper Fi?" Celestia asked.
"It means always faithful."
"To who?"
"God, your country, your family."
"Shane was a real patriot, huh?"
"Yeah, when we were kids, he would always stick to what ever he chose. No matter what. I remember this one time, he liked this one girl and so he acted like her bitch for that entire school year. She rejected him this one time and he was so crestfallen, I went to his house and here he is punching a punching bag. He was so in to it. He didn't know I was behind him and so when I tapped his shoulder..."
"He hurt you?" Celestia pondered.
"No, he was just seconds from my face. He told me that he had this gut feeling about when to attack someone. He protected the good and defeated any evil. That day when we both signed up for the Armed Forces, he nailed everything and became group leader. I just so happened to be called in his squad and Carly, Mark and Chuck Came in as time past. He really is the ultimate beacon of good."
Celestia never imagined how Shane could have been through this, must have been a crazy women to not choose Shane. Well it was her opinion anyway.
"We should probably continue looking for him." Mark suggested, breaking up memory lane.
"Hey guys!" Carly called, investigating a flower bed,"Think I found something!"
"What is it?" James asked while strolling over.
"Blood!"
"What?" James asked,"That's a first."
"Well looks as if he fell quite the distance so, think maybe he is okay?"
"He may have gone inside." Mark said, following a trail of blood that lead to the castle.
"Let's go then." James cheered,"I wanna see my best friend again!"
"I'll stay behind." Celestia smiled,"You all can keep going."
They all entered the castle in pursuit of their friend and leader. Celestia stayed behind because she could see her sister, Luna, circling around the castle. Luna's eyes met the body of her sister. She quickly landed in front of her kin.
"Do thou know what has happened to thy castle?!" Luna questioned in her ancient accent.
"Changelings attacked and were defeated my dear sister."
"How was such a deed carried out?"
"Special creatures have been presented to us as protectors, Luna."
"I see." Luna looked up at the main hall," Did they cause such a catastrophic event?"
"I believe it was an accident."
"Hmm, coincidence that they came to us in our time of great need?"
"probable, I think it has something else to do with how they almost died."
"What has thou said? They almost died and now thy is saying they are here now?"
"I was talking to one of them, their leader, he said how he was flying in it and how his squad almost died from something called an 'RPG'. They somehow transported here and couldn't control the vehicle and so they crashed, they saved my life, Luna. Besides, I think one of them is..."
"Oh dear sister don't tell me you actually like one of them!"
Celestia looked away in embarrassment . Her sister facehoofed.
Shane woke up from his short slumber when a needle like object drove through his arm. It didn't feel as bad as before. He opened one eye, they didn't notice his awakening. They were too intrigued by Shane's design as a living being. Well, they actually didn't give two shits about Shane. Only his equipment. He didn't care as long as he was fixed up. But then he saw them taking apart his M-4.
"OH HELL NAW!" Shane yelled, catching all the ponies off guard,"Don't mess with my equipment!"
"Oh, sorry there stranger, we never saw such equipment before." One of the doctors came forward,"May I ask what it is for?"
"War, killing, death." Shane responded, his voice cold and hard as rock.
The doctor gulped,"Why would you need such instruments?" All the other ponies in the room had switched their attention to the strange creature whom is telling them about such instruments.
"Where I come from, we don't all come together to one leader. Sure there are religions that stretch to all types of humans but there are huge wars because of religion. So far humans have had two world wars and tons of civil wars."
The doctor's jaw fell to the ground," What does this do exactly?"
"It shoots small, lead projectiles that is classified to specific by its size. My carbine takes 5.56 rounds. When fired, anything at the end is either dead or dying."
"Then try this!" One of the assistants said holding a foam cup in his hoof..
"OK." Shane said, pulling his gun and entering a magazine into the bottom and cocking it. Some of the nurses were writing down what I was doing,"Throw it up."
"OK then." The assistant threw it up and Shane caught it in his sights. He pulled the trigger which released a few quick rounds into the cup, sending it across the relatively small room.
"Does the smaller one do that too?" A nurse asked, totally psyched by the adrenaline. The doctor next to Shane had to shake his head to make it stop ringing.
"Not as powerful, but yeah it does just about the same only it carries 9mm bullets. Now can I have my armor back?"
"Uh, sure. Your foreleg should be fine by now."
"It's an arm, but OK. I'll be leaving then." Shane grabbed his outfit and then when he put on his vest, he turned to the nurses. He walked over and shoved his gloved hand to gather their attention."The next time yo tranquilize me, I'm going to have to use 'lethal force'."Shane winked and then left the room.
"Shane!"James shouted giving Shane a bear hug."What the Hell, bro!"
"Sorry if I felt like base jumping without you!"Shane laughed.
"Aww, that's a shame, I could have used the excercise!" James joked."I'm just fucking with ya! Get over here you fucker!" James laughed before giving Shane a noogie. Shane countered it by putting James in a head lock.
"Just like old times, eh?"
"Old times!"
Celestia climbed up the staircase following the blood stains. She was grossed out but she was extremely concerned for her crush.
"...Get over here you fucker!" Celestia heard these words and thought they were under attack. She began to run up the new hallway presented to her. Then she heard a new voice join the ocean of sounds.
"Just like old times, eh?"
Celestia calmed down and entered the room with the humans having a blast.
"Never thought I would see you guys again." Shane said, almost at tears.
"She's here!" One of the ponies screamed. Most of them bowed down, others stopped what they were doing and lined up like the soldiers they were. Most of them had disbursed to help with the reconstruction of the castle. One stallion who lined up next to her, Shane didn't have a good feeling about. He didn't trust him. Shane walked over and got between him and Princess Celestia.
"Who are you soldier?" Shane commanded. He looked at Shane with a confused look. He looked at Celestia who had the same expression of 'What is he doing?'."I say again, who are you, soldier?"
"Uh, Private Spear Head, sir?"
"How well do you obey your princess of the day?"
"With all my life, sir!"
"Then what kind of armor are you wearing under that gold, Private?"
A flap of darkened metal was showing under Spear Head's gold.
"I...I...I have a confession."
"What is that, private."
He walked out of line and everything fell silent. His head hung low. Shane had a terrible urge to push the princess back. Suddenly Shane saw him grab a small rusted and gnarly looking knife from where his chest plate met his golden chest plate. Shane acted without any mistakes: he quickly pushed back Celestia and yelled,"James! Protect the princess." The knife was in the guard's mouth and he had tried to swing where the princess was moments ago. James had gotten between Celestia and Shane. Shane had put his arm around his neck and put him in a hard headlock. The knife dropped to the ground and the pony grabbed for something different as he slowly choked. A cyanide capsule. Shane smacked it away and pinned him to the ground and held him to the ground. Shane peered down and tore a connection error in his armor. The gold fell of like snake shedding skin. His skin tone went from white to dark blue and his ears grew small flaps hanging off the back side. His wings went from feather to bat wings.
"You might want to see this." Shane said, holding out a piece of paper from his armor to a nearby guard, most of which just watched a professorial take down and were stunned. Even the doctors came out to watch.
The guard gasped,"It's a contract to kill the Princess!"
Celestia stared on with horror, what if Shane wasn't there? Would that rusty knife have been in me or.... Celestia walked over to the knife. Using her magic to engulf the object in a yellow glow, she held it up. It was an old knife issued before Luna became Nightmare Moon.
"You okay?" Shane asked Celestia, now using his knee to pin the stallion.
"I'm fine. Thank you."
"Can I get a few guards over here?" Shane asked. A few stallions volunteered. Shane got up and off from him,"Make sure he doesn't escape." Then he leaned in to his opponent,"Just be happy I didn't kill you for an attempted assassination."
Shane walked over to his squad.
"How did you know?" Mark asked.
"I had a feeling that something was off." Shane replied with a grin.
"I believe that is twice." James joked.
"Huh?" Shane asked.
"The amount of time you've saved the princess!"
"Oh, heh yeah." Shane didn't exactly love the subject but he couldn't do anything."Look, do you know if there would be anywhere where your guards can't control?"
"The old royal guard hangout, it was meant for night guards but it changed into an underground hangout." One of the guards answered. He was grey and had a scar under his cheek.
"Have you been there?" Shane asked.
"Yeah."
"Can you take me there?"
"Sure."
"Meet me at sundown." Shane nodded. The guard nodded,"Think maybe he can take the day off tomorrow?"
Celestia down at him,"As long as it stops the assassinations."
The guard didn't show any emotion but on the inside he was cheering on the inside.
"Do you have an interrogation room of some sort?" James asked.
"We have a dungeon." Celestia answered.
"Take him there, I'll talk to him later."
The guards nodded and began to escort him. There was one guard on each side of him.
"Wait, you." Shane pointed at another guard,"Follow behind them, just in case." He nodded and followed.
"Guess I see you later." Shane said as he walked out with his squad behind him.
"Where will you go?" Celestia asked.
"I wonder if the helicopter still has some sheet metal for me to sleep under."
"You can sleep in my bed tonight. If you don't want to sleep in you helicopter."
"Where will you sleep?"
"I'll find a place, I still have a lot to do."
"If you say so."
"What about my friends?"
"There is a very comfy inn across from the castle. They can stay there until we get to the bottom of this."
They group broke off from Shane. Shane stepped outside. It was still morning.
"A few hours ago." Shane started,"There would have been five more lost souls in the world. 3:47."
"Hey Shane." James said, walking up to Shane,"We found this earlier." James presented the knife. Shane grasped it gracefully.
"Thank you."
"Is this it?" Shane asked as he opened a metal door in a lonely hallway with only one guard guarding the hallway. Inside was a bed room with a huge bed. A bunch of smaller furniture items lay scattered around the room, a dresser, a large mirror, etc.
Shane began to unpack his MOLLE vest and set down his M-4 and his knife went on to the dresser next to the bed,"I wonder if she will care if I..." Shane took off his shirt and kicked off his boots.
~~~~(One hour later)~~~~

Celesetia walked to her room, exhausted and drowsy. Moments ago she asked her sister to raise the sun when it was time and she accepted. All she wanted was to sleep and try to relieve some stress.

She uncovered some of the yellow blanket and tucked herself in. She felt too close to the edge and so she scooted in. Seconds later she made contact with Shane. She thought he felt different so she looked at him. It the dimly lit light in the hallway, she could see he didn't have any of his gear on. His hair showed a blondish brown and it majestically lay straight form Shane's skin. The next thing she knew, he turned to face her. He was still asleep, just turning to get a comfy spot. She lifted his arm with her magic and slid into position next to him with his arm around her. Celestia was so tired, her bags under her eyes and how fast she went to sleep after getting comfy with her guest said it all.

Ch.4 Night Club

Shane loved being loved and loved loving. You could say he was a mix between Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash AND Shinning Armor. Fluttershy's kindness, Rainbow Dash's extremeness and Shinning Armor's military knowledge and skill.

He woke up and slowly opened his eyes. He picked up his arm with all his morning strength from behind his pillow. Just turned 1:03 PM. He felt different in placement. He looked at his other arm. It held Celestia in a protective arm cover. She snuggled in further to Shane.

Shane couldn't help but smile."Hey." he whispered into her ear. No response."Hey" He repeated."Celestia wake up." He whispered again.

"Yes, lover?" She finally responded.

"Wait, what?"

"Oh, uh sorry, I had a dream here I married this guy and..."

"It was me, wasn't it."

"Yes. Please don't be mad."

"Why would I be mad?"

"It is just that, never mind."

"What happened since I was out?"Shane rubbed his eyes.

"The ponies stuck in the tower were freed."

"Chuck is out now?"

"Mmm hmm."

"Is he with the others?"

"Yeah."

"Good. I'm going out to see my crew."

"Wait, can you stay for just one more moment?"

"Sure, I still need to be dressed anyway."

"Why do you wear the same thing all the time?"

"Humans don't have the...privacy you ponies have."

"Huh?"

"Human male genitals hang around."

Celestia could only giggle. "Are you jealous?"

"Not really, armor is fun to wear in my opinion."

Shane slowly climbed from his side of the bed. His hairs glistened from the morning light. Celestia wanted to squeal but she kept calm.and continued to watch. She watched him slide on his shirt, then his vest. His boots and his rifle.

"I'll see you later." He leaned in and kissed her cheek and then left the room after sliding his knife into a pouch on his vest.

'OH MY GOSH HE KISSED ME!' Celestia shouted in her head.

The ground was red and gray brick. The roads were flooded with ponies. Ponies going in and out of restaurants, homes, and other shops.

"Hey guys!" Shane cheered after seeing his friends at a cafe not too far from the inn. He took a seat in a chair at the same table. The building was small, white and purple color scheme, and had two windows next to the doorway.

"Morning" James greeted.

"Hey." Carly chuckled.

"What's up?" Mark laughed.

"Good to see you again!" Chuck smiled.

"Hello, sir." a waiter unicorn in a tuxedo and black curly mustache greeted,"Can I take your order?"

"What do you guys want?" shane asked his group.

"We already ate." Mark answered.

"Oh, guess I'll have just some black coffee."

The waiter nodded and walked back in the building.

"When did you guys eat?"

"When we first got here, they gave us a free lunch for saving Canterlot." James replied.

"So this coffee is free?"

"Yeah."

"Good, because I don't have money." Shane laughed.

"I have on bit." Carly replied,"Found it on the ground on the way here."

"What is a bit?"

"Their currency."

"Is it those gold pieces I see everywhere?"

"Yes, sir."

Seconds later the waiter came back out with Shane's coffee.

"Thank you." Shane said as he took the coffee from the waiter's magical grasp. Shane took one sip and laid back in his wooden chair stretching, cracking his back."Ahh, yeah I needed that!"

"Guess what I found in the helicopter!" Carly grinned. Everyone stared at her bewildered."CARDS!" She cheered as a 52 card deck flew out of her pocket in her hand."Whose up for some Poker?"

"You guys can play, I'm going to see the soldier from last night."

"Aren't you supposed to meet him later today?" James asked.

"Yeah, I wanna go make sure I can get everything I can about the club first. Early bird gets the worm after all."

"Yes but the second mouse gets the cheese." Carly replied, passing out the cards.

"Wait, before you go, can you interrogate the prisoner for me?"

"He will miss you."

"Tell him I love him too." James played along.

"Will do. I'll see you guys later." Shane said, closing the conversation.

On the side of the castle is a barracks. For some reason, it reminded Shane when his son played Skyrim, it had the same design as the Whiterun barracks. Basic design at least. please don't facepalm after reading that.

Anyway, Shane entered right when a few guards exited. One guard was stationed in front of the prison with the assassin in one of the steel cages. Shane walked up,"Boy let me tell you, you have been lucky that me and my friend were in a good mood this morning."

He just looked away as a guard banged on the cage.

"Answer him you scum!"

"I hope you get sent to the moon while it crashes into the sun."

Shane only laughed,"At least I had my coffee." he said bragging to the prisoner," I'm here to interrogate you this fine evening."

He only growled.

"Aww, does someone want a hug?"

"I hope a manticore rips you apart piece by piece."

"I'm the good guy here, my friend would probably have fed you to a manticore by now."

"Hmm."

"What is your name, let's start there."

"Why should I tell you?"

"Because I didn't kill you and I volunteered to talk to you."

"Fine, my name really is Spear Head.".

"Alright, was it that bad?"

"Hmm"

"Who do you work for?"

"No one."

"I know you do work for someone, I will find out tonight."

"I hope your team dies horribly while you are forced to watch."

"Now, now, you wouldn't want me to beat the living shit out of you now do you?" Shane replied uncomfortably.

"Wait, you don't like it when I talk about your team, do you?"

Shane stood up and poured the half of the remaining scalding coffee all over the stallion who started to cry like a filly who just saw an spider.

"Wuss." Shane teased as he drank the rest of his coffee. Shane walked over to another door. He opened the wooden door and saw just the stallion he was searching for. Obvious he just woke up.

"Hey, is that coffee?"

"Yeah."

"Can I have some?"

"Sorry, the prisoner wanted some and so I gave him some." Shane joked, pointing at the still whining pony.

"Hmm, looked like he enjoyed it."

"Right, about the club."

"Oh, I was just about to go over there for some ale."

"I din't know you fuzz balls made alcohol!"

"You coming?"

"Sure!"

The prisoner flinched when Shane walked past him, purposely brushing up against the cage. They exited the prison and continued down the dirt road which turned to stone as they crossed Canterlot.

"So did you naughty fillies mate with each other?"

Shane was caught off guard by this question,"What? Who?"

"You and Celestia! It is going around the barracks that you guys had intercourse last night!"

"Who said that?"

"A guard who watched you and Celestia enter her bed chamber."

"That fucker!" Shane remembered the guard he passed on his way to Celestia's bed room,"How much longer until we get there?"

"Actually, were here." The two were in front of the cafe Shane was at with his team who were still playing Poker and were deeply in the zone. Other guards added to the pot and watched. They entered the building. The typical snobs sat at the fancy table and drank their hot tea while reading the newspaper. The snobs saw Shane's armor and scoffed.

"Faggots." Shane said under his breath. The guard had already started talking to the waiter from earlier who just got done taking an order from a table. He then walked over to the pony at the cash register.

"What is the password today?" He asked in a fast whisper.

"Tonight it's stars." The ponies nodded and parted ways.

"What was that?" Shane asked.

"You'll see shortly. When we get there, call me Scars OK?"

"Fine with me."

"Also, just say I hired you as a personal bodyguard."

"Easy enough, I was actually a bodyguard before I was in the armed forces."

"Hmm, let's go." The two followed an alley next to the cafe. It was filled with drunks. There was a doorway which lead into a basement of the cafe at the end of the alley. The ground was covered in rain water. Bottles littered the ground

"Ready?"

"Sure."

"Excuse me." One of the drunks asked. He had a hat on his hoof which obviously held a concealed knife.

"Yes?" Shane replied.

"I just wanted to know if you would uh... screw it, GIVE ME YOUR MONEY!"

"You just made a huge mistake, my friend."

"Shut up and give me all your bits!" This time the drunk held out his knife in threat. Shane grabbed his hoof holding the knife and slammed it against the brick wall until it dropped to the ground. A small amount of blood started to pool and Shane finished off his opponent with a roundhouse kick.

"Told you." Shane said before continuing down the stairs. Scars knocked on the metal door three times, then two, then four times.

"What's the password?"

"Stars."

"Welcome." A clanking sound of metal signaled locks being unlocked.The door opened. A night guard stood on a stool,"Wait Scars, who is this joker?"

(Shane's point of view)'What the Hell did you just say?' I wanted to punch him but it would go against my good nature.

"He is my bodyguard."

"He doesn't look that tough."

"I saved your asses from the changelings." Shane spoke up.

"Holy shit, that was you?"

"Damn right it was me!"

"Welcome in then!"

Scars and Shane walked in to a sign that read," The Shady Trough." in Equestrian. It was really just chicken scrtach to us.

"What the Hell does that say?"

"The Shady Trough" Scars translated,"Can't you read?"

"I can, but not this language."

"What ever." The Shady Trough looked a lot like (and was based off of) this picture

"Wow, this is my kind of bar." Shane laughed as he walked onto the stone floor.

"Don't stay too far!" Scars warned.

"Hey you!" A night guard called to Shane. Shane turned to him,"Wanna play some Poker to earn some bits?" The unicorn flashed a few bits into the pot."Look! I already made your bet!"

"I do need some money for a drink."

"That's mah boy!"

Shane took on the wooden chair and the game continued. He played against two other Night guard. The pot grew a until it was Shane's turn once again.

"Check." Shane muttered.

"Check." Said his new friend.

"Pussies I'm putting everything in!" one of the guards said as he slid all of his money into the pot.

"Fuck it." the other guard said doing the same.

Shane smiled,"Full house, bitches!" Shane cheered, slapping down his 3 aces and 2 fives.

"Good job rookie." Shane's friend commented, slapping down his horrible hand. Shane pulled the entire pot in to his side of the table.

"Hmm, thanks bro." Shane thanked, passing three bits to his friend and using the other seventeen bits and making his way to the bar.

"Hello sir, how can I help you?"

"Strongest shit you have!"

"Coming up." The bartender got out a small red bottle and poured into a shot glass only a few drops. Shane took the glass and went bottoms up on the glass.

"That's all? That's Sarsaparilla compared to some of the drinks I've drunken." Shane gave the bartender fifteen and grabbed the bottle from his magical grasp.

"Be careful! That stuff gets you tipsy quick!"

"Yeah yeah!" Shane said before consuming the entire drink."This is weaker than my grandmother!"

"I guess you are as tough after all." The bartender shrugged.

"I've been drinking alcohol like this since I turned twenty-one eight-teen years ago!"

"Right."

"Just get me a mug of ale, please." Shane said, passing the last two bits to him.

Shane looked over at Scars who was talking to two pegasi. He then turned back to the bartender,"You realize who I am?"

"One of the creatures that saved Canterlot?" The bartender guessed while pouring a drink for Shane.

"Yeah."

"Thanks for that."

"You're welcome!" Shane grinned as the drink came his way

"Hey!" His night guard friend called out. He was now sitting with a griffin and a white stallion who looked to be a royal guard without his armor.

"What's up?" Shane asked buzzing over.

"Meet my friends here, this is Geronimo." He said pointing at the white stallion. He nodded at Shane." This is Greaten!" Greaten looked up at him. She had a black beak and looked like a bald eagle only with black claws and black feathers on her wings and surrounding her eyes. She waved before returning to her drink."What was your name again?"

"My name is Shane, the leader of the group who saved Canterlot from the changelings."

"Wow, that was you?" Greaten asked.

" All thanks to this little toy right here!" Shane flashed his 9mm on to the table.

"What is it?" The stallion asked sipping his drink.

"This baby can kill everyone in this room." Shane teased.

Greaten picked it up from the table,"How does it work?"

"The trigger right here." Shane pointed to the trigger."Just pull it back with your finger and a small piece of awesome flies out."

Greaten pulled the trigger but nothing happened.

"I put it on safety though."

"What does that do?"

"It makes it so nothing comes out until it is switched."

"Can I try it out back?" Greaten grinned.

"Sure. Ready when you are." Shane pulled out his M-4. Just in case.

"I'll do it in a few, I need another drink first."

Shane looked at his drink. Foam from the top started to dissipate and so he took one large gulp,"Not bad." Shane smiled."Wish I had Budweiser or even Coors Light. something else than foam ale."Shane whispered.

"Huh?" His new night guard friend asked.

"Nothing, just wishing I had a special alcohol type."

"Oh, yeah many of us wish they had more variety."

"Hmm." Shane took another gulp.

"I'm ready." Greaten gulped her mug and exited through the door.

Shane followed her out the door. The drunk was unconscious.

"What happened to that pony?" Greaten asked.

"He tried to mug me."

"Holy shit! you beat him up like that!"

"Yeah, I was a bodyguard until I joined the armed forces. Then I became a bodyguard here in Equestria."

"Heh, how much are your services." She asked. Shane pondered the value of a bit to be about $1.25 telling oh it's so cheap for a mug.

"About twenty bits a night."

"Ooh, good value. i could really use a body guard. I fled here a little under 22 hours ago. The men from my home town of Griffinville are crazy over me. Every night I would find one of them at my window or sneaking around with my stuff."

"Well, I can help but first..." Shane tapped a red button on the gun and it clicked,"Safety is off."

Greaten aimed for a bottle on a nearby box and pulled the trigger with her talon. It nailed the bottle dead on and she took the kickback like a pro.

"Nice shot!" Shane exclaimed.

"Wow, these are fun!"

"Tell me about it."

"Can I have it?"

"I need to have more ammo created for it. Sorry, but no."

"That's too bad, so twenty bits for tonight and how much during the day."

"It's twenty in all for one day."

"We can talk more inside."

"OK."

The two started their significantly small journey to the bar when a familiar pony drunk walked over, his kife back in his hoof.

"Hey Bitch!" He tried to take a stab at Greaten when Shane suddenly had him against the wall by the neck, his hoof pinned to he wall.

"What the Hell is your problem?" Shane scolded the pony,"The next time I see you like this, I will personally make sure you don't live another day!"

"OK! OK! You win! Let me down and and I'll get a job!"

"That's more like it." Shane let him fall to the ground, his knife in Shane's hand. He dropped it in a nearby garbage can. Greaten looked at Shane dumbfounded. Shane gestured his hands in a 'ladies first' fashion.

"That was awesome." Greaten smiled. Shane lead the way to the door and when it opened, he bent over and did another 'ladies first' hand gesture.

"Ladies first." Shane smiled. The next thing he knew, Greaten leaned in and kissed him on the lips.

"Meet me at the train out of Canterlot to begin your new job." She whispered in his ear,"See ya, Thunder."

Scars walked over,"Shane?"

"Yeah?" Shane replied.

"It's time."

"Hell yeah! See you later" Shane waved to his new friends.

"We just need to see who is opening up assassin contracts." Scars examined the room. A weird pony in a business suit handed a pegasus a piece of paper and then made a direction towards Shane. The pegasus looked at Shane and turned white. Shane wasn't the best lip reader but he did get this: "I'm supposed to kill her and he will stop me?"

Shane teased him by pulling out his knife and began to pretend he was plucking gunk from his teeth. The pegasus began to shiver.

"That must be them." I tapped on Scars who was thinking the same thing."you'll go after the scared pegasus, I'll go to the business pony."

"Deal." Scars said before Shane stood straight up."I'm going outside."Shane made sure the two ponies could hear him and then he wobbled out. The business pony followed.

Shane turned the corner that changed the scenery from sad to cafe happy.The business pony pulled a rag of chloroform from his suit pocket. He had just turned the corner when the butt of Shane's M-4 made contact with the business pony's head, knocking him out instantly.

Shane slumped the passed out pony's body over his back as he started towards the prison.

Scars looked at the meat in front of him. The small pegasus was shacking, his vision locked onto Shane who carried his boss. Shane stopped one royal guard and told him to take the body to the dungeon. Shane turned around to face the pegasus. He trotted over and kneeled in front of him and whispered in his ear.

"If you even think of hurting the princess, I will personally make sure you suffer horribly."

The pegasus gulped before cracking and sprinting in a random direction.

"Hey Shane!" James called from the inn's top window. He was waving him in.

"I'll see you later." Shane promised before running to the inn.

Moments later, Shane entered a large room with his friends standing around.

"We've been thinking." Carly began.

"Oh God, this can't be good."

"We are going to Ponyville." Mark finished.

"When?"

"Tonight or tomorrow morning."

"I can't go, I need to finish finding something."

"The investigation?" James chuckled.

"Yeah, I'll come visit but it won't be until this is found out or until the authorities figure out a plan."

"*sigh* Fine, just be quick. I want to get someplace where We can settle down until we can go home." Carly complained.

"I'm working on it!"

"We are leaving, are you coming or not?"

"I'm sorry, but no." Shane walked out and made his way to the castle.

{CLOP SCENE!} (Skip to the red text if you don't want to read.)

"I heard you found out more of the puzzle." Celestia seductively commented. Shane took off all of his gear in the process. His MOLLIE lay next to the bed with his knife and M-4. His pistol lie on the dresser next to the bed.

"Yeah, I'm awesome like that."

"Hmm, I bet your 'awesome like that' in other things." Celestia hinted.

"What would that be?" Shane asked, catching on. Their faces drove closer to each others.

"I think you know." Celestia closed her eyes and puckered her lips as Shane did the same. They passionately kissed for a few seconds before breaking. Shane took off his old and torn shirt and unbuckled his pants. Their eyes didn't break from their lock on each other before Celestia and Shane both laid down next to each other, Shane only having his underwear on.

"Remember the helicopter incident?" Celestia questioned rubbing her horseshoe less hoof on Shane's chest, rubbing he hairs calmly. She slowly made her way down to his pelvis,"When you saved me and I accidently got some...juices on you."

"Hmm, I remember." Shane responded as Celestia's hoof moved to his left leg while slowly moving right,"I saved your life." Shane grinned. Her hoof tapped Shane's crotch which was hard as rock.

"Ooh, is that what I think it is?"

"I don't know, what is it?"

"My favorite." Celestia leaned in to Shane to steal another kiss while Celestia's horn glowed a dim yellow. Shane's underpants slid from his knees to his feet and then to the ground. They swapped tongue in each other's mouth. Celestia began to rub Shane's shaft slowly, going up and then down, rinse and repeat fashion. Shane freed a hand and reached down to start to rub Celestia's clitoris. Celestia giggled after breaking the kiss. Celestia became wet as Shane kept rubbing. Celestia slowly dived her head under the cover to slightly lick Shane's head in a futile tease. She then began to stick a little bit more in each time she bobbed up. Celestia's flowing mane of rainbow colors wasn't as big of a problem as Shane would have thought in his thooughts. Drunken thoughts.

"Oh yeah." Shane made small orgasm noises as Celestia let out another chuckle. She slid over and slightly swatted Shane's hand away. She got up from atop her position and stood over Shane. She lined up her clitoris with his penis and she sank down. He had penetrated a princess. She went up and down repeatedly. They both let out small, quiet groans. Shane began to turn, sending Celestia crashing on her back to the bed. Shane crawled over and inserted his penis into her vagina. He began to pump harder and harder each time. They were both about to cum when Shane pulled out at the last moment. they both stared at each other. Shane crawled back over and made lips contact with Celestia. He inserted the last time and barely made one last full pump before they both came.

Massive orgasm waves rocked their bodies as they both settled on different sides of the bed. Shane and Celestia were sweating. Shane put his arm around celestia and gave one final kiss before falling asleep.

END OF CLOP!

Shane woke up in the same bed he had sex with a princess. He checked his watch. 11:43 AM. Celestia wasn't in the bed. She quickly jumped from the bed and slapped on his gear. The windows in Celestia's bedchamber gave a pretty nice view to he town. It didn't give a lot of view. It gave a fine view to the train station though. That was when Shane remembered his new job. He quickly busted through the door and sprinted down the hallway. In mere minutes, Shane exited the castle. His team had already left, it saddened him but he was going there anyway.

"I'm sure the royal guards can take care of the mystery." Shane reassured himself as he walked to the train station. He held his M-4 in a way just in case the drunk came back. The way there was calm and normal. The rich ponies scoffed and looked away. Shane wiped away sweat from his brow. It was hot and he had a lot of gear on his body plus he ran through an entire castle.

"All aboard!" The conductor warbled. Shane just cleared the door and made it inside. The train cart was mostly empty. In one of the seats he saw Greaten. She was sleeping by the looks of it. Shane trudged over and took a well needed seat.

"Hey there, Thunder!" Greaten greeted Shane.

"Why are you calling me Thunder?" Shane asked, still trying to relax and closing his eyes.

"Because of the way you took down that drunk!"

"Oh, yeah." Shane smirked.

"It was, awfully nice of you." Greaten rubbed Shane's stomach.

"Hey it's my job." Shane laughed.

"Hmm." Greaten agreed, attempting to match Shane's body language.

"How long is the ride?"

"We just need to get to Ponyville and we can go from there."

"Fair enough Shane yawned before going to sleep."

Ch.5 Griffinville

"Thunder! Thunder, were here!" Shane was awoken by Greaten shaking his shoulders.

"Ponyville?" Shane asked, wiping his eyes.

"Yes!" She exhilarated.

"Give me a sec OK?"

"I'll wait outside!" Greaten jumped from her seat and proceeded to exit the train cart

Shane climbed out of his seat and jogged outside.

"Where now?" Shane asked.

"Get on and I'll take you!" Greaten was smiling with an overly excited grin.

"What?" Shane asked bewildered.

"Climb on my back and I'll fly us to Griffonville!"

Shane thought this was beyond bizarre but did as he was told. The next thing he knew, a giant swoosh took him to the clouds. Greaten made the clouds exploded where as Shane passed right through them. In mere minutes of Shane getting on, he saw a large collection of houses on top of a mountain with clouds surrounding it. Greaten sped up as Shane stayed on for dear life. She was a little shaky in the air and it made Shane nervous.

Shane closed his eyes as tears flew out of their ducts. She began to slow down as Shane saw the mountain get bigger and bigger. The clouds were part of the town. in all, the total area was about four miles. Griffon from all around were landing and taking off. It looked like a flying lion pit stop.

Greaten slowed down on her approach . She landed on all four and gave Shane a little bit of time to climb off. As if she knew how stunned Shane was.

"Reminds me of being on a helicopter."Shane whispered while smiling,"That is going down."Shane's grin turned to a dark frowned.

"Were here!" she cheered.

Almost immediately, other griffon males began to see Greaten and started to get... excited. One whistled like she was a supermodel.

"Hey Greaten!" were shouted and a few,"Welcome back!" were yelled.

"Hey, I have an idea, let's get you to your home so you can do what you need to do." Shane suggested, standing in front of Greaten to protect her from overly excited griffons.

"Sounds good!" Greaten agreed.

The two slowly tried to walk away. The crowd grew larger and larger until. Shane and Greaten couldn't escape.

"You fly up and find a place to stay for a little, I'll find you after what happens next." Shane whispered.

"OK, wait, what is happening next?" Greaten asked curiously.

"My way of giving you space to fly!" Shane pulled Greaten's head in and he kissed her in the most passionate kiss he could fake. Shane wrapped his arms around Greaton's body as she went along with it by wrapping her talons around him in a love hold.

She broke the kiss,"How does this get me room to fly?"

"Because." Shane backed away and pulled out his M-4,"They will be too preoccupied on killing me."

A swarm of colors pounced on Shane as yelling and rioting. Greaten took off towards her "home". The truth was Greaten wasn't the richest of griffons. She could purchase a house, but not a mansion. She was more lower class than middle.

Greaten didn't feel right, it felt as if she had more weight to her. She lifted her legs, nothing. She lifted her wings and a familiar looking black item fell out.

"Shane's weapon!" she gasped out loud . It fell on her dirt floor. She picked it up and held it for a moment,"Why did you give me this?" She asked out loud, not knowing Shane was actually in the door way.

"Just in case I didn't make it." Shane limped in, nearly collapsing on to the floor,"Damn, those guys had sharp claws." Shane laughed. He threw his hand onto his gut,"It hurts when I laugh." Shane's voice had turned scratchy than it's ususal enthusiastic tone.

"Don't worry, I'll be right back!" Greaten zoomed out the door and off the mountain top town. There was a forest below. A small hut with smoke popping out a hole in the top sat plop on the edge of the forest near Ponyville.

"Zecora!" Greaten screamed as she sped up to the hut. She promptly landed in front of the door to the hut. She busted through the door,"Zecora! Zecora!" Everything in the hut shook violently. The zebra had to hold onto the potion she had with both hooves.

"What is it Greaten my friend? How will out paths cross again?" Zecora asked, putting the substance on a table.

"My friend needs help! He got scratched by a bunch of griffons and now he is hurt badly!" Greaten was out of breath.

"Sounds like your problem is a dark one in deed. use this potion to fix your noble stead." Zecora grabbed a bottle with her hooves and carefully gave it to her friend. The potion inside was like a baby blue with a slight glow to it.

"Thanks!" Greaten grasped the glass bottle in her talons and tried to exit but only managed to bump into a shelf and another potion dropped down from the ceiling. It looked the same as the baby blue liquid in the bottle she was originally carrying. She put one of them down on a counter and then zoomed into the sky. The one she put down had a label that read

Healing Serum Zecora could only facehoof.

Shane pulled himself on to the bed in Greaten's den. He was so irresistibly tired, he closed his eyes. The next thing he knew, Greaten exploded into the doorway.

"Drink this!" She exclaimed as she shoved the potion into Shane's hand. He poured the liquid down his throat with all the strength he could muster. He burped a massive belch like he just drank a large thing of soda and went to lay back down. He closed his eyes again and relaxed. Greaten climbed up and sat next to Shane. He would have been on the verge of dying if she didn't go to Zecora's and she knew it. Shane was a tough person and held onto life as a human being.

He dreamed he was in a dark room. He was looking into a mirror. Nothing was happening, just a marine staring into a mirror. Suddnely Shane's reflection started to speak

"I'll see you later." It said as it waved goodbye. Shane tried to stop it.

"Hey! Come back!" He pleaded."I don't want to be alone!"

"It's OK, I'm here." shane turned from the mirror and saw the outline of a Griffon.

"You are not me though."

"I am now." It said before flying into Shane's torso. Shane fell back.Something was happening to his body. He tried to stand up. He inspected himself. First his hands and then his feet and then his body everything was normal. He looked into the mirror. A griffon's body was staring back at him. Shane screamed.

"Thunder? Thunder!" Shane heard. He jolted awake. Greaten was looking at him. He tried to shake his head. He put his hand up to try to soothe the throbbing in his head. He felt as if he had more hair on his hair than when he went to asleep. He looked at his hand... claw.

"AHH!" Shane screamed."What happened!?"Shane looked all around his body, only to be staring at a griffin's body like the mirror in his dream. The exact same body!

"I don't know! I heard you mumble something and when I turned to see, this was you!"

"OK, I just need to stay calm!" Shane exercised his breathing. In. Out. In. Out. Shane tried to concentrate on something but his mind raced at light speed to try to comprehend his new body. Why was he like this? How long will he be like this? When will he figure all these questions out?

"Thunder?" Greaten asked, looking over his new body. Shane looked towards her,"I just want you to know, I'm here for you!"

"Thanks." Shane smiled. Some of Shane's fingers felt like they were on fire. Maybe because they weren't there anymore. He did feel something new. He didn't know what they were, but it was on his torso. He tried to focus on that region to find out what is was. Wings sprouted out. Shane was scared shitless at this point. He noticed his vest was still around his claws and body. His wings could just lie over top of it,"At least my team can somewhat identify me."

"I don't think showing them your body and saying your their leader is a wonderful idea." Greaten warned.

"I might wanna train my fighting first." Shane shrugged.

"That is a start." Greaten barely agreed.

"I think it is a little to dark out to start so I'll try to go back to bed."

"I'm right here for you." Greaten was greatly concerned for her friend.

"Thank you." Shane said before actually lying down on the bed. Greaton tried to get as close to him as possible."What are you doing?"

"It's cold out."
`"Oh, didn't even think about the temperature."

"You don't mind, do you?"

"Go ahead. I think I'm starting to get a little cold too."

Greaton cuddled as far as she could into Shane's new body. She snuggled her face into his chest and wrapped her arms around him. He couldn't help but sling one arm around her body.

James looked from his friend's house window. He looked behind him. The three people who stayed with him all lie asleep. Chuck sat on a small chair. Mark and Carly decided to lie down on the bed. James had a sleeping bag. and decided to stay up. He opened the front door ever so slightly and left. He sat on the ground, thinking, concentrating, brainstorming.

James wanted to know where his friend was. He stood up and walked. He didn't care where, he just walked. Past a few houses and James still wondered. Past a random boutique and he still wondered. James didn't realize he was in front of a bar when he walked in. No one really payed much attention to him except one pony in the far back.

"Shane! Shane over here!" James walked over,"Wait, you're not Shane. You must be his friend." The same night guard from Canterlot was sitting with a mug of foamy apple cider.

"Do you know where he is, I imagined what he was doing in Canterlot would have been solved by now."

"The last I heard, he was hired by one of my friends to be a bodyguard."

"Where?"

"I think Griffonville. I'm not sure."

"OK, thanks."

"Tell him I said hi!"

James sprinted out the door, across Ponyville and into his friend's house. All three of them awoke with anger.

"What the Hell, man!" Mark exclaimed pissed."I'm trying to sleep!"

"Shane isn't in Canterlot anymore!"

"Where is he then?" Chuck asked, rubbing his eyes.

"Someplace called Griffinville."

"We can go there in the morning. Let's get some sleep first."

James looked out the window. He didn't want to leave his friend another hour, but he was forced to.
~~~~~~~MORNING~~~~~~
Shane slowly escaped from his unconscious dream world and came back to reality. Greaten was gone from the bed and it was a nice and warm day outside. Shane tried to climb on all fours. It was easier than when he used to do it as a kid when he watched Lion King and when he used to watch Courage the Cowardly Dog.
Shane missed the old Earth. He wanted his team's safe passage home if he couldn't go.
He stumbled out on all four legs and walked across town. Greaten was nowhere in sight. No one really cared for Shane . They were only interested by the vest and knife. The M-4 still had a full clip. Shane didn't hurt any of them.
He wanted to learn how to use his wings. He spread them out and practiced flapping them. Each time a little harder than the last. He managed to get a foot off the ground. He wasn't as tired as he thought he would be.
"Thunder?" Shane heard his name called. He turned around to see Greaten hiding behind a building. She looked panicked. Shane became suspicious. Because of this, he walked over on his hind legs, holding his knife pouch just in case.
"Yeah?"
"Hurry up!" A hushed voice called up behind her.
"Hey! Who is back there?" Shane called out.
Greaten paled. She quickly tried to get him to stop. Shane became a little closer. That was when he saw an arm around her neck. In Shane's mind, this song started to play
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o22eIJDtKho
.
I wear this crown of thorn
upon my liar's chair
Full of broken thoughts
I cannot repair.
Shane heard a click behind him. A gun. He put his claws up.
"Get on your knees!" A different voice called out.
The Griffon holding Greaten walked out, holding a shard of glass to her neck.
"Shane, Shane, Shane. The changelings have quite the bounty on your head."
"I'm not Shane." Shane said with a sly smile.
"Then who are you?" The griffon asked taking a knee in front of Shane. The song played freely.
"I'm your worst nightmare." That instant, Shane grabbed the arm of the unsuspecting Griffon and tossed him onto the other. He pulled up his M-4 and started to fire warning shots at them. The griffon with the glass jumped at Greaten. A round went straight through his head and into the dirt.
What have I become
My sweetest friend
Everyone I know goes away
In the end
Greaten hid in the building shadow. The last griffon took the M9 and tried to shoot Shane. One bullet hit the armor where it was absorbed and the bullet ricocheted off. The griffon was now frightful and quickly got up. He ran to the edge of the mountain and jumped. He only got a few flaps in before Shane took a shot into his back, sending him flying down to the Everfree.
Greaten ran to him and gave him a huge bear hug. She was kissing him all over his face repeating the same words of "Thank you!".
"Hey, it's my job!" Shane insisted."Let's get you situated somewhere else than here. Huh?"
"Yeah sure, there is only a few things I need before we go!"
Greaten decided to sprint to her house. Shane decided to practice his flying. He counted 3...2...1... He pounded the ground with a sudden thud and a whoosh. He was at least thirty feet in the air. He started to flap his wins to calm the descent. He had a soft landing and was completely psyched.
Greaten came back with a small handbag. It was old leather, a small started to rot.
"Are you ready?" Shane asked.
"Yeah. Ready when you are."
Shane began to sprint on all fours. He was followed by Greaten. It was hard but it payed off when he made a leap of faith and opened his wings.
And you could have it all
My empire of dirt
I will let you down
I will make you hurt
If I could start again,
a million miles away.
I would keep myself.
I would find a way.
James exited the house like a dog really wanting to go pee, sprinting and sniffing for the right place. Probably because he really did need to go.
"Jeez." Mark began, walking out of the house,"We all want to find Shane, but that's no way to act!"
"He's hopeless, Mark, don't bother." Carly sighed.
"Chuck! Come on dammit!" James yelled inside.
"Coming!" He yelled.
"So how are we going to get to Griffonville?"
"Maybe we should ask them." Carly pointed out to two Griffons landing close to the house. James walked up to the one with red, gray, and blue strips i.e. Shane.
"Uh, excuse me? Do you know where Griffonville is?"
"Why do you need to know little guy?" Shane smiled.
"I'm looking for a comrade. You sound a lot like him."
"Look bro, I don't think you understand me. Go and comeback once you learned not to ditch a friend."
"Huh?"
The other three walked up with their weapons drawn.
"I'm just fucking with you guys, Griffonville is that way."
"What do you mean ditching a friend?" James asked.
"Because staying with a friend and comrade is a sure fire way to make sure he doesn't turn into a Griffon from a weird medicine."
Shane was about the same height as James. But in his Griffon body, he was at least five inches taller.
"What are you talking about?"
"Guys, it's me! Shane!"
"No... you can't be! Shane wasn't some filthy animal."
"I'm not filthy, James."
"How do you know my name?"
"I told you! I drank a medicine and the next day I'm like this!"
"Well, at least you are OK." Mark shrugged.
"Now we just need to go home James sadly moaned.
"We should get to ground zero first." Shane replied.
Mark chuckled,"You mean the blast zone?"
"No, the helicopter crash."
"Oh."
"It's funny."Shane began,"I woke up almost half a week ago and thought to myself,'Can't wait until I get home to see my kids.' now i just want to get to Earth now."
"I bet being a creature of mythology was unforeseen too?" Chuck remarked.
"Nope." Shane looked on.
"Oh, that reminds me!" James called out,"The black pony from the bar said hi."
"Really? I haven't seen him in a while."
"About two days ago." Greaten corrected.
"Oh my God, you two should get together!" Carly grinned. Shane blushed and Greaten had the 'I will kill you in your sleep' look going on.
"No." Shane scolded Carly shaking his head.
"We should probably get to the train." Mark converted the subject while walking towards the train.
"Sounds fair enough." Shane sighed before the seven creatures trudged off to the train.
"So were is the helicopter?" Mark asked Shane as the train crawled up the mountain.
"I don't know." Shane shrugged as observed the skies from the train cart. A few white pegasi in golden armor swarmed around the giant pink bubble set up to block the changelings. The train suddenly stopped. The seven looked around suspiciously. The door slid open to the front of the cart and two guards walked in. They scanned the room until they both saw Shane's group. One used it's unicorn horn and pulled a picture from his knapsack around his back. It was a picture of Shane as a human.
"If you...humans...know where this human is, we request that information immediately." One guard spoke, his gray coat catching Shane's eye."
"Why do you need him?" James asked, reaching for his heavy gun.
"He is to be put under arrest for participating in a major crime: assisting the assassination of Princess Celestia."
Shane could only choke on his spit. What was he talking about? Assassination?
"Even if we did see him, why would we tell you?" Carly held her sniper pointed at the guards hoof just in case it needed to be blown to pieces.
"If you do not comply, we will be forced to arrest you too."
"He could kill you in a heart beat." Chuck smirked as he stood in front of the back of the train.
"I highly doubt it." He replied.
"I bet he is here in this room." James teased. The guard searched the room before replying.
"I-impossible, he isn't here."
"Are you so sure?" Shane knelt down next to the pony before they made eye contact. Shane recognized the pony as the one in the hallway,"I remember you. did you tell all the ponies in the barracks I had sex with the princess and then tried to kill her?
"You..."The guard turned white and his friend was just about to scream before he was pinned by Mark and Carly. James leaned out an open window and called out.
"It's all clear in the train!" He called impersonating as the grey guard. The other guard's horn tried to emit some kind of light but was stopped when Shane walked up and grasped it in his claws. He knelt in and whispered.
"Do you want to lose your horn?"
The guard's eyes dilated and he tried shake his head.
"Good, so then don't try anything and I might let you live." Shane let go and slowly walked away as the train continued forward.
The guards were hog tied and put into the end of the train as the seven exited the train at the Canterlot station. The place looked remarkably...empty. The cafe was vacant and so were the streets. The castle had some activity, but it was only the frequent pegasus that did laps around the building. A few guard ponies walked up. They asked the group to follow them and they obliged.
"Where are we going?" James asked to Shane in a whisper. Shane shrugged in response. The entire group entered the humongous castle where even more guards waited. Shane didn't want to be there.
"Now." One guard began,"Welcome to the academy."
Shane had a gut instinct to get ready to spread his wings.
"Before we begin, let's welcome Shane back." He said looking directly at the Griffin named Shane. Shane's wings were pulled out by two unicorns and his legs buckled. One unicorn with a white coat trotted up. His horn started to gleam green and Shane's griffin body started to shrink as it expelled into a jewel necklace around Shane's human body. His body ached and hurt all over. His group stood around him. He was all but naked if it wan't for his pants and vest. His rifle still strapped to his chest.
Celestia came into view of Shane's fading vision. She erupted into a green blaze and a familiar queen laughed as Shane's body was lifted from the ground, held in place by a green glow.
"You whore." Shane spat as he passed into unconsciousness.
"Wake up!" Shane gleaned the words from his surroundings.
"Huh?" Shane mumbled. He tried to open his eyes. Changelings flew around in the air. The walls were crystal like. James had his gun aimed up. Mark had his back. There was one other thing Shane noticed, the helicopter. It looked to be completely repaired with the exception of a few minor flaws. On the side read United States Army Corps in Chuck's spray paint hand writing.
"He's awake!" Greaten proclaimed as Carly came to his aid.
"Get up, man!" She exclaimed as both Greaten and Carly pulled him from the ground. Carly held his rifle out and he grabbed it gracefully.
"What happened?" He queried.
"They took all of us and lead us to the crystal mines. There were already ponies here and so was the helicopter. They thought if we were ever caught, we could be able to fly it. Since you are the only one who has any flying experience, we need you to get us out of here.
"So the bringers of peace need us to kill these bastards?" Shane smiled.
"Good to have you back." Carly patted before escorting Shane to James and Mark.
"Look! It's Sleeping Beauty!" James laughed before patting Shane on the back,"Are you able bodied enough to fly?" Shane laughed as the three escorted Shane to the helicopter. The changelings didn't give two fucks for the humans, it was the ponies they worried about. The four climbed into the helicopter. Shane climbed into the pilot's seat and turned a key while flicking a few switches.
"It's been way too long." Shane laughed as the engines roared to life. James pulled out the mini guns from the left door, facing the ponies.. Carly picked up a helmet and slid it on her head. Shane copied her actions and fastened the helmet to his head. The rotors started to twirl as the ponies took notice.
The cavern was almost 100 feet tall and nearly 250 wide. The helicopter could maneuver all over. The tail rotor began to spin as the helicopter took flight.
"Hey change-o-fuckers!" James exclaimed as the five changelings stopped and took a sight of the pure awesomeness that was a helicopter. With venom in his voice, James whispered," Game's on, bitch."
