Twilight saw she was sweating and breathing real hard. "Another nightmare right?" Spike said. "Yeah I don't know why, it's always about Sombra, he keeps chasing me but then goes after you and the girls." Twilight said. "Hmm maybe you sho- " just before he could finished he burped out message from Celestia. "It's from the princess, read it Spike." Twilight said. "Ok."

Celestia." "Ok Spike we got hurry go get the girls and tell them to meet me at the train station." Twilight said. Spike nodded and ran out of the library. "I better get ready." Twilight sighed. "You will be mine." "Who said that?" Twilight said. There was nothing but silence . "Probably just my imagination." Twilight said as she continued getting ready.
The main 6 were on the train to Canterlot wondering what the princesses wanted. "So Twi why are we goin to Canterlot?" Applejack said. "Princess Celestia wanted us, she said we're in danger." Twilight said. "Danger? What ever. I mean we defeated Nightmare Moon, Discord, and Saved the crystal empire. What danger could we be in?" Rainbow gloated. "I don't know but we still have to go there." Twilight said. Twilight nervous of what will come when they get there
The Princesses sat on there throne waiting for Twilight Sparkle and Her friends to come. "Luna are you sure he's after them?" Princess Celestia asked. "Yes my sister, but he's mostly wants your student out of all of them. If I'm right she should have the power to have visions of the future she gained from me." Luna said. "Luna you know it was best for her not to know the truth about where she really came from or what power that she has inside of her." Celestia said as she nudged her sister. "I wish you didn't tell a lie and tell her and every pony else that I was on the moon for a 1000 year!." Luna said as she started to cry. Luna wanted Twilight to know everything. she wanted to take care of her when she was born, watch her grow up, but all that was striped away from her when she leaned that Twilight had no pure magic only dark magic. "I'm sorry it was best for you to get control of your powers. If Twilight ever found out, you know she the dark magic in her will awaken turning her into the real Nightmare Moon." Celestia said. "Yes I know but isn't that why I took some of the magic away from her and gave her some pure magic? I thought that would work." Luna sobbed. "You only weaken her. But it was good enough so she could control it but finding out her real mom will give her too much emotion making all the magic in her turn dark." Celestia said as she wiped Luna's tears. "If that's the only choice,but you know when she defeated nightmare moon, you got to admit I'm a pretty good actress." She said with a small laugh. "Yeah." Celestia said rolling her eyes. "Hey." Luna said with a smile. The Princesses started to laugh and play around but little did they know a shadow was listening through the whole conversation.
Twilight lead the way into the Canterlot Palace, the sound of two dozen hooves loud on the marble floors. She paid little heed to the splendid building, having been there many times before; the high, vaulting ceiling was familiar to her, as were the rich tapestries along the walls, and statues and busts of famous ponies out of history that adorned the corners. She passed a pair of Royal Guards who nodded respectfully to the Princess's favored student. "Go right in," the one on the left said. "The Princesses are waiting for you."
The Princesses? Luna as well? Twilight wondered. What could it possibly be? The six ponies and one young dragon trooped into the Great Hall, past the enormous stained glass windows depicting scenes of victory and triumph. There were the six of them defeating Nightmare Moon; and there, Princess Cadance and Prince Shining Armor united their powers to banish the changeling queen Chrysalis.
At the end of the hall stood the two alicorn sisters: Celestia, tall and regal, her everflowing mane shining with all the colors of dawn; Luna, her expression severe, her indigo mane and tail twinkling with tiny lights, cold and distant as the stars. "Welcome, Twilight Sparkle," Celestia said.
"Your all wondering why your here." Celestia said. Everypony nodded. "Well...Luna had a vision that Sombra is back for revenge, he wants you all to suffer and all of Equestria to be his." Celestia said. "Did some pony have nightmares lately? If so step up now." Luna said. Everypony and spike said no,except Twilight she nodded and stepped forward. She was now the center of attention. "Hmm, Twilight Sparkle, you will get special protection." Luna declared. "W-what? why princess?" Twilight ask. "Sombra will feed off your fear in your sleep so you will have guards at night and day until further notice." Luna said. "Ok princess." Twilight said. Twilight didn't want to be watch 24 hour, she pretty much hated the idea someone at her door every minute. "You all will be escorted to your rooms shortly to unpack. You all have one guard to watch over you. Oh and feel free to go where ever you like in Canterlot." Celestia said. Everypony left to their rooms but Twilight stayed to talk to Princess Celestia. "Umm Princess Celestia may I ask you something?" Twilight asked. "You may." "Could I borrow the crystal you got from the Empire? I really want to study it." Twilight said "Of course." Celestia said. Celestia walked over to the case holding the crystal. She used her magic to lift the case, then levitated the crystal and put the case back. "Here you go my student." Celestia said as she levitated the crystal towards Twilight. "Thank you princess." Twilight said as she used her magic to take the crystal. Twilight trotted to her room but before she left Celestia yelled,"Remember not to power the crystal with negative thoughts!" "Yes Princess!" Twilight said and continued to go to her room. After a few minutes Twilight found her room there she found two guards at the outside of the door. "Hello Ms. Sparkle would you like help with that?" One of them offered. "Umm no thank you I got it." She said as she opened the door to her room. "Please don't disturb me I really need to study something in private." She told the guards as she closed the doors. "Ok let's see I got my paper to wright on, ink to wright on the paper, and feathers to use the ink to wright on the paper." She said. "Okay let's start." Twilight started to think positive. Then her horn started glow and a beam of pink magic hit the crystal and it shined bright with many colors. "Wow that's bright." Twilight said Twilight galloped towards the table to record her results. While she was wrighting a shadow crept in and swept over the crystal. The crystal stopped shing and turned black. It made a shadow towards Twilight. "Hmm..." Twilight said. Then she looked back at the crystal, "W-what's happening." The crystal's shadow grew dark crystals around Twilight, making a dome around her. She was now scared. She tried to use her magic to break out but nothing happened. "HELP!!" Then a small crystal pricked her. "Ow!" Then one of the guards came in. He tried his best to destroy the dark crystals but failed. " Ms. Sparkle! Someone get the Princess she needs to destroy the crystals!" The other guard ran to the throne room. " Princess! Ms. Sparkle is surrounded by black crystals and we can't break them." Princess Celestia's eyes widen, " Take me to her now." They both galloped towards her room. Celestia charged her horn and blasted the crystals away. Twilight was standing there her eyes wide opening, she was shaking of what had happened, the room was spinning. "Twilight are you alright?" "Y-yes princess." Twilight said but the room started to spin then every thing turned black and then Twilight quickly fell to the ground. "Twilight? Someone get a doctor!" Celestia said.
After passing out Twilight was rushed to the hospital. The doctors assumed it was just from the dramatic events that happened to her. But something was what they didn't expect. After 3 hours Twilight woke up, her vision a little blurry. When her vision recovered she saw her friends, Shining Armor, Cadence, and the princesses looking at her with a worried face.
"What are you all looking at." She said with a little hatred. For some reason she hated all of them for a few seconds. But the feeling went away. Everypony looking at her with disbelief of what she said. She just realized of what she said
"I'm so sorry. I-I don't know why I said that. It just came out." She apologized.
"Twi your probably just a little grumpy from just wakin up." Applejack said.
Twilight looked around to see she was in a hospital bed.
"Why am I in the hospital?" Twilight ask.
"Ya passed out after the princess rescued ya. So they took ya into the hospital." Applejack answered.
"Twilight Sparkle did you feel different when you woke up?" Princess Luna asked.
Lie to her.
"No I did not feel different." Twilight lied
Applejack looked at Twilight with a confused face because she knew that Twilight had just lied to the Princess.

"What are you looking at stupid!?" She yelled at Applejack.

All of them looked at her like she was crazy all but Luna.
"Sister I have to talk to you in private." Luna said.
The sisters walked out of the room. Luna's horn lit as she cast a spell around her and her sister, so no one would eavesdrop on them.
"What is the matter sister?" Celestia asked.
"The visions are coming true, soon sombra will get his goal." Luna said.
"Is there any way to save her?" Celestia asked
"I'm not sure." Luna answered.
"Let's hope so." Celestia said.
The princesses walked in the hospital room.
"Twilight are you ready to go to the castle?" Princess Celestia asked.
"Yes. But Princess Celestia do you know what's wrong with me?" Twilight said.
Celestia looked at her sister and looked back at twilight,"Sorry, I don't know anything."
"Oh ok." Twilight said.
Twilight got up from her bed and all of them went out of the room. Twilight felt sick still but she ignored it and kept walking.
