Ratchet, Clank, And Spike: Journey Through The Galaxy

Spike is transported to another galaxy alone, he is found and taken in by a Lombax called Ratchet, and after they meet a small robot called Clank, they go through adventures that save the universe

After a teleportation spell gone wrong Spike is transported across the universe. He is found by Ratchet and is taken in and kept safe, when they almost complete a ship they find a small robot by the name of Clank who is trying to find someone to help save the galaxy, The three of them go on a galaxy wide adventure to save it and many more adventures to follow.

Prologue: A New Galaxy

We open in Equestria, Twilight and Spike are in they're castle and Twilight is reading a new book.
"Wow, who knew teleportation spells could go so far!" Twilight said amazed
"How far do you think they could go?" Spike asks coming into the room with some food.
"Apparently focusing enough magic can send the person or an object almost anywhere!" Twilight said as she flipped to the next page.

"Wonder where they could go or what they could do when they arrive at those kinds of places" Spike said as he sat down next to her looking at it with interest.
"We should get the others and show them how far teleportation could take them!" Twilight suggested excitedly
"What if they get sent somewhere that's to far away to the point they can't get back?" Spike asks worried
"Don't worry, we'll just be using small objects while they watch" Twilight told him and he sighed in relief.
"Alright, I'll go get the others while you set things up" Spike told her and she nodded agreeing, Spike then went out to the village to gather everyone.

Rainbow dash was helping clearing some clouds when she had seen spike down calling for him, she then came down to see what's up
"Everything alright Spike?" Rainbow dash asked
"Twilight's got a new teleportation spell she's wanting to show everyone she was hoping you'd all come to see it" Spike explained and rainbow dash looked like she was ready to see it
"Of course! Beats doing weather clearing all day, I'll head there right now" She said with a smile and went to the castle.

Applejack had just gotten done with bucking more apples for the day and she was glad it was finally over, Spike then came up to her and she greeted her with a smile
"Howdy Spike! How's everything going?" applejack asked with a smile
"Twilight's got a new teleportation spell she was wondering if you all could go see it" Spike explained
"Sounds interesting i'll head over there right now! "She said as she ran to the village

Spike then proceeded to do the same with Rarity and Fluttershy and they all agreed and headed over there excitedly, he then went to Pinkie pies place but he found a note on the door.
"Twilight's birthday is today, working on a special surprise for her so i'm busy for today." Spike read as he remembered it is her birthday
"That's right it is! I should get her a little treat before i head back!" Spike then headed over to the bakery and payed for a special cupcake and headed back to the castle.
he entered the lobby and found them all talking with each other and they all saw Spike.

"Happy birthday Twilight!" Spike said as he came over as he gave her the cupcake
"Right! I almost completely forgot today was it! Thank you so much spike!" She said happy as she gave him a hug
"Pinkie said that she was making preparations for a surprise later, so i guess its just us for now" Spike told her as she let go
"Pinkie is always big with parties, so i can understand that, come on lets get this teleportation spell started" Twilight said as they all followed her to the lobby.

In the lobby there were multiple objects, a small chair, then a table, and a desk with a mirror on it, all with tags with her Cutie Mark on it.
"Alright, if i can focus enough magic, i can send these almost anywhere" Twilight explained
"How will we be able to find them" Rarity asked confused
"I will have these special magic tags that will tell me where they go" She explained
"That sounds simple enough" Applejack said understanding
"Are you sure this will be safe Twilight?" Fluttershy asked
"Yeah how do we know nothing will go wrong?" Rainbow dash asked
"Don't worry girls, as long as i keep my focus nothing bad will happen" Twilight assured them,
"Alright then, just be careful" Fluttershy said a little worried still.

Twilight then focused her magic into her horn, she had aimed for the small chair first, after a few seconds of charging she shot it and it teleported away
"Where'd it go?" Rarity asked
"According to the tag, it teleported to the Dragon Lands... only for it to fall into a river of lava" Twilight said a little embarrassed
"Well it was a really far one that's for sure" Spike said comforting her, she soon regained her focus
"Alright, let's try to not get it teleported into a river of something this time" Twilight said focusing her magic on the table this time, she charged for almost 30 seconds until she fired and the thing teleported away too\
"Alright, this time it landed in the griffon kingdom" Twilight said as she looked at a special scroll she made
"That's almost just as far Twilight, you should try charging for a little longer" Applejack suggested

"Your right, this time i need to really focus" twilight said as she charged once again, unknown to them a certain pink pony was sneaking up for a little surprise...
Twilight charged for about 5 minutes before her magic aura was bigger then a ball
"Alright, now to try it one more.." She said before she was interrupted
"SURPRISE!!!" Pinkie shouted scaring her to the point she lost focus and shot the blast, the blast bounced around the entire room until it hit the mirror of the object aiming at Spike
"Oh!...." he is then cut off as the blast hits him teleporting him away leaving a bright blast.

Soon the light died down and Twilight looks at Pinkie extremely upset
" What the heck Pinkie?! I was in the middle of something both important and potentially dangerous if went wrong!" She asked extremely mad
"I just wanted to make a surprise since its your birthday... a little bit of a bad timing i see now" She said sadly and twilight sighed
"It's alright, it was only to make me happy, is everypony okay?" Twilight asked as she calmed down
"We're all accounted for Twilight" Applejack said as all the main 6 were there,

"Alright that's good, what about you Spike?" She looked where Spike was but he was gone... Her eyes widened in horror
"Oh no...." She realized and soon the others realized it to.
"Spike?!" Twilight called out but got no response.
"Spike come on this isn't funny! "Rainbow dash shouted
"Spike?!" She teleported across the castle, she even checked the scroll just incase it might show where he went but nothing was there.
No... NO!" Twilight shouted and horror and teleported back to the rest
"Where is he?!" Fluttershy asked extremely worried.
"I can't find him anywhere" She said starting to cry
"No, it can't be..., maybe Celestia can help find him!" Rainbow dash then just got the idea
"Your right, send her a letter right now!" Twilight told them and they all went to tell her what happened
"SPIKE WHERE ARE YOU?!?!?" Twilight shouted upset really worried about where he was.

Meanwhile on planet Veldin in the Solana Galaxy...

A young creature was fixing some machines in his workshop, he had just finished with the blueprints to make a ship to get off this planet
"Now all i need are the parts to make it and i'm out of here" The creature said as he was making his way outside, he then noticed a bright flash in the distance and it caught his attention.
"What was that?" he asks shocked and proceeds to run over to to where the light came from.

When he arrived he found a creature he had never seen before on the ground unconscious and he went to check on it
"what are you?" he asked about to check it but then it groaned and he backed up
Spike then proceeded to open his eyes and groaned
"Where am I?" Spike asked as he tried to focus his eyes
"Hey are you okay?" A voice asked and Spike looked up at a blurry figure, he soon finally focused and his eyes widened in horror as he never saw anything like this creature before. he then screamed and backed away terrified.

"Who... What are you?!" Spike asked scarred.
"Woah calm down! I'm not gonna hurt you! " he said raising his arms showing he means no harm, Spike then saw he meant no harm and calmed down just a little
"Who are you?" Spike asked still scarred and he slowly came up to him
"It's okay.. i'm not gonna hurt you.. My name's Ratchet, what is yours" Ratchet asked offering a hand up
"Spike..." he said nervously taking it and getting up.
"Alright, just to let you know, my name's Ratchet, and this is the planet Veldin" Ratchet explained and his eyes widened
"Veldin... that's never been heard off in Equestria" Spike said shocked
"Equestria? is that the planet your from?" He asked making Spike's eyes widen more
"Planet? I believe some call it Equis. but i don't understand still what is this place?" Spike said as he was still shocked

"Okay this is the planet Veldin in the Solana Galaxy, I'm ratchet" he said once again
Spike then looked around and his eyes widened as he realized he wasn't home at all, he was far away from it, lightyears in fact.
"This... this isn't my home... "Spike said starting to cry as ratchet noticed it
"What am i gonna do? How can i get home? I don't have anyone with me..." Spike said as he broke down
"Whoa calm down kid, i can help you get home" Ratchet said trying to comfort him and Spike looks up at him surprised
"Really?" Spike asked shocked that he was willing to help
"Yeah, helping others is what i want to do one day, so helping you would be a great step" Ratchet said with a smile, Spike jumped at him and hugged him surprising Ratchet
"Thank you, this means so much!" Spike said with tears and ratchet hugged him back
"Don't worry little guy, I'll help you, i just need to finish making a ship to get off this planet" Ratchet said with a smile and Spike looked confused
"Ship like a boat kind of ship? Spike asked, and ratchet merely chuckled
"I got a lot to tell you about buddy, come on I'll explain after we get to my home" Ratchet said picking him up

Spike was thankful someone was willing to help, Spike just hopes Twilight is okay and can handle herself as he tries to make his way back home.

1: A Little Robot

It had been a couple weeks since Ratchet found Spike and said he'd help Spike get home much to Spike's gratefulness, Spike had felt a little depressed in not being able to at least contact twilight through a letter because he's to far away for the magic to reach her, Ratchet had been surprised to know that Spike was a dragon to his surprise as he thought they didn't exist, and that interested him on what Spike's planet is like. Spike and Ratchet were putting the finishing touches on the spaceship, it looked like it would help them.

"Pass me that wrench over there please" Ratchet asks as Spike and he does so
"So how much longer till it's finally done?" Spike asked as he had been taught a lot in the last couple weeks about the Solana Galaxy and what important stuff he should know
"Just a few more touches and we'll finally be off this rock!" Ratchet said happily as he was making the last few tweaks.
"Aaand done! Finally!" Ratchet said excitedly as spike looked happy the ship was finally powering on.

"Ship requires an onboard robot intelligence system, " The ai voice says
"Crap, completely forgot that ships require at least one robot..." Ratchet said sadly and Spike looked depressed.
"I'm sorry spike, looks like we both aren't leaving" Ratchet said depressed as he puts a hand on Spike's shoulder.
"So we're both stuck here?" Spike asked sadly and ratchet nodded and they both felt defeated

They're sadness is interrupted when they see something crash off in the distance much to their surprise.
"What was that?" Spike asked shocked
"I don't know, lets go check it out" Ratchet said as they both made they're ways to it.

Ratchet had given Spike a thing called a " Omni Wrench" which was used for fixing tools but also for attacking some enemy's thanks to its extending feature, and a "Bomb Glove" which only shot out bombs but Spike found it really cool as they don't have stuff like this back home, Ratchet and Spike had to fight off some of the small wild life but it wasn't much of a difficult challenge, it's when they got near the crash sight however things got a little interesting. There were some large robots that had attacked them much to their surprise but was able to defeat them because they have their bombs.

"Why would those robots be near this crash sight?" Spike asked
" I don't know, it must be important if they came out here" ratchet said as they arrived at the crater and found something in it.
"It looks like a small robot" Spike said as they looked at it
"Let's take it back to the shop and see if we can activate it" Ratchet suggested as they picked it up and took it back.

We cut back to the shop as Spike was working with Ratchet on the ship to try to get it to work, the robot came on and walked behind them both looking at the ship.

"Interesting" The robot said surprising the both of them and they fell off the box they were on
"What the?!" Spike said surprised the robot had activated.
"You two are quite handy with those wrenches" the robot told them and they looked at each other shocked for a moment
"Yeah i just got this recently but i've gotten the hang of some stuff with it" Spike said as he held his out
"Yeah you bet, we built this ship with it" Ratchet said pointing at it, and the robot looked back at him

"Currently i have been in search of someone who could be in assistance of saving the solar system" He said as they both looked confused
"What?" they both asked confused.
"Do you know where i might find that fellow?" he asked pointing at a poster on Ratchet's wall
"Well he's on the radio every week, better then that no" Ratchet answered
"I have no idea if he can even help as he probably will be to busy with stuff" Spike suggested and Ratchet nods
"Hey what's with all the save the solar system stuff anyway?" Ratchet asked
"Yeah what is it about?" Spike asked wanting to know as well.

Another robot had came out and had showed them what he's talking about, someone by the name of Drek was talking to the citizens of the planet called "Novalis" and said that they're own home planet is uninhabitable now ,was building a large planet but had been forcefully taking recourses from other planets in order to make it his own, they got all the information they needed as the robot soon finished the video.
"Are we still on? turn it off you idiot! Drek ordered a person off screen as the screen fades to black
"Corporation greed..." Spike said annoyed as he figures what kind of person he is.
"Yeah it's really obvious on how that planet died" ratchet said agreeing.

"the people on that planet are done for, well good luck getting Captain Qwark too help ya" Ratchet said to him
"Actually you two could help me, we could use your ship to take us to the coordinates indated in this Info Bot, i might be able to gather further information there " he said and they looked at each other.

"This could be our chance to get you home!" Ratchet told Spike
"Yeah! he could be the help we need, we just need to take care of this Drek guy first " Spike said agreeing as they looked back on him.

"We'll help you, we just need a robotic ignition system in order to get it flying" Ratchet said to him
"I believe that's why we couldn't get it working before that" Spike said as he looked at the ship, the robot looked at the ship and scanned it.
"Yes, you both need a robotic ignition system in order to get it working, and i just so happened to be equipped with the latest robotic ignition systems, they allow me to start any ship i chose" he explained to them.
" so we agree to help take you to this where ever it is, and you get our ship up and going?" Ratchet asked
"That is what i am purposing" He said, just then two large ships appeared into the sky and they both were getting nervous.
"We'll help you lets get going now!" Spike said as he Ratchet and the robot got on the ship. Like he said the ship was activated almost immediately and it finally took off.

Their ship was being seen from orbit and Drek saw it flying off
"This could be a problem" he said as a large figure stood behind him
"Take care of it" He orders the figure and he walks off.

We cut to them flying through space and they both were amazed at the beauty of it, Spike was sitting next to clank as there was only two seats but Spike was looking out the left side amazed by what he was seeing.
"This is amazing..." Spike said in awe as he looked at it was shaken by the ship by ratchet's flying
"Woah this is great so that's where we've been stuck this whole time!" Ratchet said in excitement as he looked back at the planet as they got further away from it.

"You sure you can fly this thing?" Spike asked nervously with the robot agreeing.
"Please regain your attention to the steering mechanisms sir." the robot said a little worried.
"oh sorry" Ratchet said putting his hands back on the controls
"By the way you can stop calling us "Sirs" the name's ratchet, this is Spike" Ratchet introduced himself and Spike nodded
"Nice to meet you" spike said with a smile.
"Pleased to meet your acquaintances sirs" he said making them chuckle.

"So you got a name?" Ratchet asked
"Yeah do you have one?" Spike asked.
"My serial number is XP B5426" he is cut off as Ratchet almost his a rock and he fell over making a clank sound.
"We'll just call you Clank for short! Ratchet suggested
"Yeah i like that name, nice to meet you Clank" Spike said with a smile
"Alright we're approaching the planet now, hang on guys!" Ratchet said as they saw the planet " Novalis" getting bigger.

"Twilight i hope you are doing okay" Spike said worried as they entered the planet.

2: Novalis

We cut to the planet and the ship is seen falling through the sky, all three of our friends are screaming as the ship crashes into a wall and explodes and they all fall on the floor

"Ow... when i learn to fly a ship I'll be driving next time" Spike said a little annoyed.
"Ugh fair point" Ratchet responded a little weakly they then noticed someone was missing
"Clank where are you?" Spike asked
"I'm right here" Clanks voice is muffled and they see he's right under ratchet
"Oh sorry!"" Ratchet said getting off him.
"Well were not leaving the way we came in" Ratchet said a little embarrassed
"Yeah, the thing looked like it could barely hold together after we entered anyway" Spike said shaking his head
"Perhaps we can procure a ship from one of the inhabitants" Clank suggested, and we see there is fire and ships shooting at multiple buildings
"If there are any left" Ratchet said as clank hoped on his back like a backpack,
"Let's just see if we can find someone who could help us" Spike suggested

Spike and Ratchet had made they're way down a floating platform only to be greeted with more robots and dangerous wildlife
"I take it every planet we go to is gonna have some of these guys?" Spike asked
"Yeah, we'll probably get used to it" Ratchet said pulling out his wrench
"Sigh's"," lets get this going then" Spike said a little upset that he had to fight as he pulled out his bomb glove.

it wasn't to much of a hustle to do, Ratchet took care of the robots and Spike took care of what looked like, Robot Bees? Spike didn't really know, he was able to blow them away and they all were defeated
"That felt like it took a shorter time then normally" Spike said a little tired
"Yeah lets try to get to the other side of that river" Ratchet pointed as he pointed to the other side
"I see a bridge just over there, lets go" Clank pointed out and the others agreed to it.

They had to fight their way through some more robots and spike saw ratchet smash some crates.
"Why are you doing that?" Spike asked confused
"These crates contain bolts, which is what we need to buy weapons and ammo" Ratchet explained
"They use bolts as money here, this galaxy is really weird" Spike thought as they continued, they arrived at the bridge but some ships fly by and destroy a few parts of it destroying a few robots as well
"Geez! do these guys even care about their own soldiers" Spike asked shocked
"They are merely disposable pieces of metal, so they couldn't care less" Clank answered
"That's harsh" Spike said and Ratchet just shrugged.

They fought their way through more robots across the other side of the river, they then saw a ship surrounded by robots coming down.
"There must be something or someone on that ship that could help us" Spike suggested
"Yeah, lets check it out" Ratchet agreed and they moved forward, the robots attempted to blast them but Spike and Ratchet were able to avoid them, Spike used his fire breath and took out most of them at once
"Wow, thats quite the range for someone so young" Ratchet said surprised as he finished off the last robot.
"I must agree, you are an interesting creature Spike" Clank said a little surprised as well.

Before spike could say anything however, the door of the ship opened and they saw what looks like an old man with another Info bot looking really terrified.

"Don't hurt me, don't hurt me! What are you mercenaries? torturers? I'll tell you anything, here take this Info Bot it's all i got left" he said really scarred and the robot came up to them.
"Sir we're not assassins " Clank was trying to tell but ratchet interrupted
"Hold on! let's see what he's got" Ratchet said wanting to know what the bot had
"I guess we should at least see what that bot has" spike sighed as he wanted to tell the man they didn't want to hurt him.

It then proceed to show them an ad of Captain Qwark promoting an add for a place called " Al's Robo Schack" He explains it all to them but barely lets Al himself be in the video as he was both nervous and they didn't care probably.
"So if your fighting crime or just fighting grime, come to Al's Robo Shack in Metropolis for all your robotic repairs" Qwark said on the video
"Al's robo shack, it's Qwarktastic!" He said as the name appeared on the screen and it faded to black.
"That was both weird and surprisingly a good ad" Spike said as he was still confused on the commercial.

"Did know what this means?" Clank asked as the robot went into a container Clank had
"Yeah Qwark is really sold out" Ratchet said making Spike chuckle a little.
"No it means Captain Qwark is on Metropolis, we could tell him about this invasion" Clank told them
"If we had a ship" Ratchet told him.
"Do we even know how long it's been since that video was shot? it could have been weeks since it was taken" Spike told them.
"Spike's right, he might not even be there, but Al might have an idea on where he went" Ratchet suggested.

"What? a ship? Your not torture me? " He asked surprised
"No we won't we just need a ship to get out of here" Spike assured him much to his relief.
"Thank you young man, Well as planetary Chairman I could arrange for you to borrow our Courier ship" He said as a green ship came down where the platform was next to a large building.
"Cool!" Ratchet said exited
"You can count on us sir" Clank told him
"Right thank you your Chairman Shipliness" Ratchet said and Spike looked at him
"Dude really" Spike asked with a raised eye
"What? I couldn't think of anything else to say." Ratchet defended
"Before we go why don't we check what that large building is over there, it might have something we could use" Spike suggested
"He's right, there might be" Clank agreed. They then proceeded to make their way back to the platform next to the ship

They went into a building and had to go through and obstacle course of machines that helped the building work and jump over ledges and eventually they made their way to someone who was working

"Dag blast it" He said as he was bent down and working on something
"Look Plumbers crack" ratchet joked and Spike slightly chuckle a bit.
"What did you just say?!" He asked upset
"I said, look the Plumbers back" Ratchet backpaddled and said something else.
"Alright wise guy, shouldn't you be on an escape transport?" He asked
"Escape transports?" Ratchet asked
"Newsflash! Giant robots attacking! they're taking all the rich folks off this planet: He told them
"We have a ship already, how come you can't leave?" Spike explained.
" Socio economic asperity" He told them
"What?" Spike and Ratchet both asked confused
"He hasn't got enough Bolts" Clank explained.
"Working people have to wait for Captain Qwark to save us" He told them
"Well you got anything worth a lot of Bolts?" Ratchet asked

" I got this thing, it shows to weirdos ditching their ship, got coordinates to a desert planet to" He said pulling out an Info Bot
"We could use something like that" Spike suggested and Ratchet agreed, Ratchet payed enough bolts and he gave them it, he then proceeded and jumped down a pipe
"Geronimo" He shouted sliding down it
"Did he just slide down a sewer pipe? Ratchet asked a little disgusted.
"Looks like that's are way back to" Spike said grossed out as well.

The video then showed them two guys being attacked by rockets that were coming from the planet, the guy on the right dismissed it as fire work display but one of the rockets hit them and they proceeded to escape right before the rocket hit them.

"Did you see that guy on the left? That was Skid mc Marx
"Does he know Qwark" Clank asked
"Doubt it, but he's a pro hoverboarder, always going of about how "Cool" he is" Ratchet exaggerated at that last part
"Geez looks like they both need help!" spike said worried
"I agree, they both look like they're in trouble" Clank said as he was a little worried
"I'll say, i've never seen him so freaked out" Ratchet told them
"Let's get back to the ship and head to Metropolis first, we could use something from Al's that could help us: spike suggested and they all agreed
They jumped down to the pipe like the plumber did but it was actually fun.
"That was surprisingly really cool" Spike said a little exited, he then sniffed himself" Ugh gonna need a shower later" Spike said a little grossed out
"Yeah, i will to, lets head out" Ratchet told them and they got on the ship and they proceeded to head to Metropolis.

3: Al's And Two New Weapons

The ship they were in flew through face at incredibly fast speeds, they soon had came upon Metropolis and the ship had landed and they all got out.

"This place looks like it was almost over taken by nature a bit" Spike said as he observed the place
"Yes, this place is very old, but it is still running strong" Clank said as he looked around as well, they went forward for a few until coming upon another split path.
"I think i see Al's ahead of the right path Lets head down that one first" Ratchet suggested, but before they did they bought a blaster gun at a vender for them to use.
"Sweet!" Ratchet said as he held out the gun and Spike liked the looks of it.
"Hope i get something like that soon" Spike told him
"Don't worry buddy, i'm sure Al will have something for us, let's get going" Ratchet said as they went down the path.

They continued to move on for a while, they fought off some robo dogs and more robots, they eventually got to a bridge and a helicopter tried to shoot them down, but ratchet was able to shoot it down.
"Geez, overkill much?" Spike asked shocked at how much they are trying to stop them
"These guys will stop at nothing until they've taken care of threats to their plans" Clank told him
"If they see us as a threat then we can make it through this" Ratchet said with confidence as they continued.

They fought their way through more robots and guards before they finally made it to Al's shop and they entered
"That must be Al" Spike said as they walked up to him.
"Ratchet that's the man on the info bot remember? He knows Captain Qwark!" Clank said excitedly
"Hey your that robot guy right?" Ratchet asked.
"No actually i build robots, i myself am not a robot guy per say" Al said chuckling a little and Clank and Spike laughed a little as well
"Nerd" Ratchet told them
"I like him." Clank told him
"Yeah i like him too." Spike said as well.
"So now that we've cleared that up, what can i do for you?" Al asked, Clank was about to step up but Spike spoke first
"We're looking for Captain Qwark, we saw that ad for this place and was hoping you'd know where to find him" Spike told him and Clank nodded, Al then got a closer look at Spike.

"Say, what kind of creature are you? I've never seen something like you except in fiction" Al said curiously
"I am a dragon i" Spike was interrupted
"A Dragon?! Like the fire breathing kind?!" Al asked surprised, Spike then blew a stream of green fire out the exit and he looked at him in awe
"You really are! Well all i can tell you is that i haven't seen him since we shot that video weeks ago" Al said a little exited
"Told you it was a bit since that ad was taken" Spike said to the others. Spike then got an idea.
"Hey you happen to have anything i could use to help my friends" Spike asked Al
"Actually i might have a few things that could help you" Al Said as he grabbed Spike
"Hey!" Spike said and the others looked confused.

Al then opened a box and tossed out some old stuff.
"Aha here it is! I found these a while ago, i thought it could be sold for a high price but for you it's on the house" Al said as he handed Spike two pieces of metal of some kind
"What is this?" Spike asked, the metals began to glow, just then a green blade of plasma energy shot out of them making them two 6 foot swords like a katana shocking all of them,
"Whoa! I didn't know it could do that! It's like they reacted to you specifically!" Al said amazed, Spike swung the sword around like they were a really light stick with both his hands which was easy to handle., he then saw a box and Al nodded as he wanted to see how it works, Spike then slashed at the box and it completely got cut in half making them look even more surprised.

"That is awesome! May i try?" Ratchet asked, Spike nodded and gave ratchet the blades, but as soon as they were in Ratchet's hands they deactivated much to their confusion
"What the?" Ratchet said confused trying to get it to activate again.
"It seems these blades can only work for Spike" Clank said as he observed the Blades deactivation. Ratchet gave it back to Spike and it activated once again making Ratchet a little jealous but he got over it.
"It seems so, maybe they were left for me by someone but who?" Spike asked as he put the blades on his waist on both the right and left and it materialized a belt to be held, Al then said something else

"I have one more thing for you come with me Mr?" Al asked wanting to know his name
"Spike" He answered for him
"Spike! Please come with me i got one more thing for you." Al told him, Spike and Al went into his workshop
"Get on the table please" Al said making Spike a little confused
"Okay? Why though?" Spike said as he got on it, Al then had spike on his belly and he felt Al placing something on his back
"What are you doing?!" Spike asked a little upset
"A few more tweaks and done!" Al said as he let Spike up, he got out a mirror and saw Spike had Robotic wings!

"Whoa!" Spike said as he tried them out, him leaning up had the thrusters ignite they lasted a few moments before turning off and Spike landed on the ground.
"This is awesome! Think you could hook my robot friend Clank up with the same thing?" Spike asked.
"Sure thing, free of charge for you this time!" Al said as they walked out, Spike showed them his new robot wings
"Whoa! that's awesome dude!" Ratchet said amazed
"Thanks! He said he can give Clank a pair too for free!" Spike said happy
"I would very much like an upgrade as well" Clank said exited.
"Sure thing little guy!" Al said before he grabbed him and installed a pair of wings on him as well
"Ratchet, are we cool now?" clank asked
"Oh yeah, i got my weapons, you got two swords and those wings! You the man Clank and Spike" Ratchet said happy.

"Thank you for everything AL! we'll be sure to promote this place!" Spike said as they left a nearby door
"Feel free to stop by anytime! I'd like to see you again sometime!" Al waved and they nodded
"We will" Ratchet said as they left, They were all just outside the workshop walking away
"So who do you think left you those blades? And do we even know if they were meant for you?" Ratchet asked curiously.
"I don't know, we'll find out in the future sometime i hope" Spike said as they continued forward.

Hey guys hope you liked this new chapter! I've been asked what kind of base weapon Spike could get, and after thinking it over i decided on two Plasma Blades! I also will have Spike keep the robot wings until he gets his real wings. I hope you like what you've seen and hope you look forward to more!

4: The Rest Of Metropolis

Spike, Ratchet and Clank had continued to fight they're way through more enemies, the new blades and robot wings Spike got were quickly able to be adapted, the wings helped him glide in the air for a short time, and the blades could pretty much cut through anything, it basically one shots most of the foes he's faced.

"Things things are overpowered." Spike said as he cut through another robot destroying it.
"It is fascinating on what they are made off, the metal is of unknown origin, they may have been something from another galaxy." Clank suggested as Ratchet shot down another robot dog.
"Yeah, whoever must have left them might have had some kind of vision of the future or something" Ratchet said as he and Spike both sliced down a final robot destroying it.

"The real question is who though?" Spike asked as they all continued moving forward.
"I must admit it is rather strange on those blades just being found by Al and being specifically made for you" Clank said as they continued walking.
"Yeah, who do you think could have left them there?" Ratchet asked as they went near a train.
"We'll find out sooner or later that's for sure, lets focus on the main thing in stopping Drek first" Spike said as they all agreed and continued running forward.

They fought through some more robots like usual, they then hopped onto the train and it began to move, more robots were on the further parts of it, so Spike and Ratchet easily destroyed them, the train then stopped and a Info bot they saw was moving ahead from them.

"Hey!" Spike said as they chased after it.
"These things probably won't always be easy to catch that's for sure" Ratchet said as they took out a bomber and they finally caught up with it, it then opened a screen and proceeded to show them a video.

We see a robot commander on another planet.
"Greetings executive chairmen Drek" The robot says saluting him.
"My sources tell my you are behind schedule" Drek says upset" you must prepare this planet to be harvested for world!" Drek orders.
"Yes sir, as you can see everything is moving along as planned." He says as a robot accidently destroys the one next to it instead of hitting the tree.
"I'm counting on you lieutenant, and as your former commander could tell you, i don't take disappointments kindly" Drek says as the robot looks scarred.
"Yes sir, i won't fail" The robot says saluting once again

"Drek is destroying yet another planet" Clank says as the info bot goes into a container.
"We still have to go to Aridia first though" Spike said as they still have to find Skid.
"Yeah, Spike's right, once that's done we can head over there and take out that lieutenant ourselves" Ratchet said as he knows they can handle him. Clank then thinks about it and sighs.
"Alright, there's still one more area of this planet we need to explore first" Clank says as he gets on Ratchet\s back.
"Don't worry with the stuff we have now, i'm sure it won't be a problem" Spike assures as they head down an elevator leading back to the split path.

They then went left this time and see what looks like an obstacle course, a robot speaker that looks like Qwark told them they need to reach the third island to complete it and it disregards that they are not responsible if they die, Clank however thought it was the real Qwark.

"Excuse me Captain, but we have more pressing issues, we urgently need you assistance." Clank says looking up at the robot, Spike and Ratchet look at eachother and smirk.

"Clank?" Ratchet asks.
"Yes?" Clank asks looking at them.
"Do you notice anything unusual about Captain Qwark?" Spike asks with a smug smile
"Well I find the fact that he has a spring where his legs should be to be quite puzzling" Clank says as he looks at the robot again.
"And why do you think that is?" Ratchet asks with Spike chuckling a little
"Possibly an injury occurred while battling evil?" Clank suggests and Ratchet and Spike burst out laughing at him
"What?" Clank asks upset
"This isn't the real Captain Qwark you numbskull! It's a robot!" Ratchet says still laughing.
"How could you not tell a robot from someone who is a robot?! That's hilarious!!" Spike says laughing hard.
"Oh.." Clank says as he now realizes it's a robot.

Spike and Ratchet soon calm down and they look at the course.
"I think i should try this out, with the parkour i've been taught in the last couple weeks i think i can handle this" Spike suggests as he recalled Ratchet designing some obstacle courses for him to train and escape from certain situations.
"You sure about this buddy? You could get really hurt!" Ratchet says worried with clank looking concerned as well.
"Don't worry, with that you've taught me so far i think i can handle this." Spike says, Ratchet thinks about it and nods,
"Okay, please be careful Spike" Ratchet says with worry and Spike nods as he steps forward.

Spike proceeded to run straight through all his obstacles, he jumped over some walls and wall jumped upwards really fast, he reached the top of the first obstacle in less then a minute, he used his omni wrench and railed down to the second island, he then moved his way upwards some moving grounds and walls as fast as he could, he never fell off once, Spike wall jumped moving walls one more time and he grind rails to the third island and he meets up with the person the Qwark Robot told him to, and she looked presently surprised.

"Huh? I must admit i wasn't expecting something like that from a small guy like you" She says still surprised.
"I've been in situations like these before, and i had some practice myself, i know it probably wasn't the best way to finish it but it's done none the less." Spike says as he walks up to her.
"Yes, it was a little weak, but it wasn't the most pathetic thing i have ever seen, i doubt your friend would have done better though" She tells him.
"Win some you lose some, so we were told something about a prize?" Spike asks
"Oh yes!" She remembers as she hands him two devices.

"These are called Swingshots, they allow you to grab onto floating orbs like those ones over there and fly across them" She explains while pointing at a nearby green orb.
"Sweet, these will definitely come in handy!" Spike says as she gives them to him, Spike attaches it to his wrist and puts the other one away.
"You have room for improvement, but your friend i doubt can pull it off, " She says a little disgusted as she thinks of that.
"No ones great at everything" Spike says as he starts to walk off.
"I can see why Qwark has taken an interested in you, but i'm not sure about your friends" She says looking at him.
"Qwark knows about us?" Spike asks confused
"Oh yeah, he's heard about you two knocking down Drek's robots." She tells him
"Someone has to be able to help out right? We don't see Qwark going around stopping them do we?" Spike asks as he doesn't think Qwark is that heroic. She simply shakes her head and starts to walk off, Spike says one more thing

"Thank you for these, they will definitely help." Spike says as he looks back, she nods with a smile and gets on a taxi car and flies off.
"That could have gone better, but it also could have been worse" Spike thinks as he heads back.

He uses the Swingshot and is able to swing off the orbs like what he was told, it was pretty fun not gonna lie, he soon finally made his way back to Ratchet.
"Great going there Spike! I'm really glad your alright." Ratchet says happy as he walks up to him.
"I must admit that was rather impressive" Clank tells him, Spike then gives Ratchet the Swingshot and tells him what it is for.

"Sweet! I bet Captain Qwark uses stuff like this all the time!" Ratchet says as he puts it on.
"Well now that that's done, we have a certain hoverboarder to rescue right?" Spike asks, they all nod and head back to the ship, they set the Coordinates for Aridia, while they were flying Spike takes one more look at his blades.

"Who made these? And why are they for me specifically?" Spike thinks to himself as they continue to fly off.

Sorry if it's been a bit since my last update i was working on another story as well, i know some might be a little divided on the fitness trainer just giving Spike the Swingshots instead of having him pay for them, but honestly she wasn't really that likeable and i wanted to tweak her character so it is more likeable. 5: Planet Aridia And A Peek of What's To Come

Spike, Ratchet, and Clank proceeded to fly through the stars to their next planet, Spike was looking out the window feeling a little sad, and Clank noticed it.

"Is something wrong Spike?" Clank asked curious, Spike only sighed.
"I'm just really worried about my friends, i was teleported away from my world so suddenly, they might think i'm dead." spike said sadly, Ratchet looked at him sadly as well.

"Hey, don't worry, once this is over i'll be looking at the galactic planet maps to find it, i'm sure it will be here somewhere." Ratchet said trying to make him feel better. Spike looked away and looked at him hopefully.
"You really think we'll find it?" Spike asked with hope.
"Of course, i promised i'll help you find it, and i tend to keep it." Ratchet said with determination.
"Do not worry my friend, once we stop Drek, i will assist in this as well." Clank said with a smile, well as best as a robot can smile, Spike looked at them gratefully.
"Thanks guys i really appreciate this" Spike said with a smile.
"no problem pal. We're coming up on Aridia now, hang on" Ratchet said as the planet was in view.

Spike and Ratchet and Clank soon got out of the ship and landed on the ground, they looked around and saw a large station of some kind and a canyon nearby.
"Let's check out that canyon, there looks to be a fire signal coming from there" Spike said pointing at the smoke signal.
"He's right, there might be someone needing help lets go" Ratchet said as they started running towards it.

They had to fight through some creatures called Sand Sharks, Spike sliced through them with ease, even though he still isn't the best at swords, he still feels like he should take some lessons on it, Ratchet brought them down with a Flamethrower he bought, because lethal weapons are able to be bought legally here apparently, eventually they made they're way to the signal and found someone.

"It's him it's Skid Mc Marx!" Ratchet said pointing at him
"You know it dude! did you catch that epic space battle i was in?" Skid asked trying to sound cool and Spike chuckled.
"Yeah we saw ya, crying for help." Spike said as they chuckled a little.
"That was more of a battle cry." He said trying to brush off the humiliation
"right.." Spike said still not convinced.

"My agent and I got ambushed on the way to the hoverboard tryouts.
"Is he alright?" Spike asked with worry and clank nodded as well.
"Ah he's fine, but i've been having trouble getting back to my ship, due to these Sand Sharks, and my sprained ankle" Skid said pointing at the creatures and his ankle that did look sprained.
" Oh come on!" Ratchet said pointing at the sharks.

"If you can take out all the sand sharks i just might have two spare hoverboards for you, there was something else i found but i think you guys might be able to use it better" Skid offered, Spike and Ratchet thought it over, Clank tried to tell him we were trying to find Qwark but Spike shushed him.
"This guy needs our help, Qwark can wait later." Spike told him and Clank nodded in understanding.

"One of your boards? hmm i've always wanted a decent hoverboard." Ratchet said still thinking about it
"And it would be my first one as well" Spike said as they don't have these things back home, Ratchet soon decided.
"Alright we'll help you, you just keep that foot elevated." Ratchet told him, Spike looked at the creatures and took out his blades and they created the 6 foot swords.
"Whoa dude! those are awesome!" Skid said in awe, Spike looked back and smiled
"Let's do this!" Spike said as they rushed at them.

Spike and Ratchet had proceeded to take down dozens of them, there were strange creatures that were spawning them out and they figured they had to be destroyed in order to stop them from coming, Spike sliced through multiple of them at once enjoying the action, Ratchet was throwing fire at them and liking using his new weapon. they made they're way to the ship where some more sharks were and they took care of them easily thanks to they're teamwork, and then they helped Skid make they're way to it.

"Thanks a ton dudes! That was totally awesome!" Skid said before he walked up to his ship, he pulled out two hoverboards.
"Like I promised dudes!" Skid said tossing it to them.
"A brand new Z 3000!" You can't even buy these!" Ratchet said looking at them amazed.
"These things look awesome! wait till the other people back home see this!" Spike said trying to ride it, he was actually able to get the hang of it pretty fast as it didn't require much practice.
"Work on your skills and you could win the tournament! And here's the other thing i promised." Skid said as he pulled out another object.

Spike got off the board and walked up to see what it is. To they're shock, they saw a strange piece of metal with a green diamond in the middle and he handed it to Spike, he took out his blade and observed it's material.
"These look similar in terms of the material they were made with, i wonder..." Spike said as he placed his finger on the Diamond.
Like he thought, it began to glow, and the thing began to spread across Spike's body creating an armored suit and his eyes glowed a bright green from it, they looked at it in awe.
"Whoa.. this is just like my blades.." Spike said in awe looking at the armor.

"I knew it! Something must be leaving you these! If Skid or i can't use them, someone or something must be leaving these behind for you specifically!" Ratchet said as he looked at the swords and armor as they were exactly alike.

"That is the coolest armor i have ever seen!" Skid said completely amazed.
"Ratchet is right, these materials seem to only react to you, so someone might have designed them this way." Clank said as he looked at the armor.
"I feel something so familiar.." Spike said as he took of the helmet and they looked at Skid.
"Thanks a ton dudes! Hope to catch you dudes at the hoverboard races!" Skid said as he got back on his ship.
"Your welcome!" Spike told him, and they now looked at each other.
"Now lets check out that factory, there's a shortcut through here." Ratchet said as they saw the factory a short distance away.
"Let's go!" Spike said as they started to run through it.

Spike and Ratchet continued to fight they're way through Aridia, there were more robots they had to take down, and they had to use their Swingshots in order to cross large gaps.
"It feels like we're in a comic book story!" Spike said as they continued
"Tell me about it!" Ratchet said agreeing on it.
They continued to make they're way to the top and they found another device, Ratchet picked it up and Clank analyzed it.

"That is the Trespasser, it is used to unlock certain doors to areas" Clank said as they looked at it.
"Like that door over there?" Spike asked pointing to a nearby door, Clank nodded and they both headed to it.

After they opened the door they proceeded to make they're way through more obstacles and robots, Spike's new armor could have them barely lay a scratch on him though because it was so advanced.
"This seems to be more advanced then anything in the galaxy" Clank said as they continued through
"I think the next thing we do after Drek is try to find the origin of these things, and Something tells me we'll be encountering more stuff like this.." spike said as he felt something about these things.
"I agree on that, there's the way out let's go!" Ratchet said as they saw a ledge they had to climb.

They eventually crawled their way out and they saw a nearby ship.
"Skid's agent might be there!" Spike said as he pointed at it. Ratchet and Clank agreed on that and they headed towards it.
They soon arrived at the crashed pod.

" No signal whatsoever! this downtime is killing me!!" He said really frustrated trying to call someone
"Are you okay sir?" Spike asked worried
"Are you in need of medical attention?" Clank asked worried as well, but he then noticed them.

"Don't worry about it kids, the problem is i'm stranded and my star client is nowhere to be found!" The agent said looking around.
"Hey we saw you on that info bot! your Skids agent!" Ratchet said as he realized him.
"Was Skids agent, haven't seen him since our ship crashed, and a agent without a client is like a flea without a dog." The agent said as they looked at each other a little confused at it.

"Say you two look like athletic kids! If you can win the next hoverboard races and bring back the prize from Blackwater City, i'll make you two my next Stars!" The agent offered.
"Isn't this going a little to fast?" Spike asked, but Ratchet thought over words he said.
"we have no time for trivial matters sir." clank said trying to decline it politely.

"Hmm, we could be the next Skid mc Marx! The hoverboard duo's!" Ratchet said trying to make Spike agree, and Spike looked at him with worry.
"You think we can go through it?" Spike asked a little unsure and Ratchet nodded.
"Like Skid said, we practice and we could win, imagine what that prize could be." ratchet told him, Spike thought about it and looked at him
"Alright, we should take care of our other problems first before we hit that place though" Spike said as he still felt a little uneasy.
"Don't worry Spike, we'll win those races for sure!" Ratchet said with confidence. Spike looked back at the agent.

"You sure you don't need any help getting out of here?" Spike asked.
"Don't sweat it kid, once i get a signal i'll be able to leave from a call for a cab, you just stick to winning the races!" he said as he walked back into the pod completely alright with being here right now.
"Well alright then.. let's just get back to the ship there was a lot that happened in just the last hour." Spike said still trying to process all the new stuff he has now.
"Yeah, i agree let's get going." Ratchet said as they headed back to the ship, they took a teleporter of some kind and ended up near the ship, they soon hopped in and took off.

Spike was looking at the armor and swords and just wondering who made these and why these are for him.

We zoom out to beyond the galaxy they're in, it goes even further until it looks like a screen, two figures were watching it as a green dot was beeping for a location.

"He's found it, and We've finally found him." A male voice spoke looking at the screen.
"This is all piecing together, what's the newest piece they've found?" A female voice spoke.
"He's found the armor set we made, and the swords we made with the Lombaxes" The male voice said looking at the current weaponry.
"Let's hope he finds the rest, and once it's over he can finally meet us." The female figure asked hopefully.
"I hope so to, it is time our son met his parents, in time we will finally meet him" The male voice said as they continued to watch on continuing to see his journey.

Sorry if it feels like it's going a little to fast but one can get through these games pretty quickly with memorization and i'm sure you all know the order in which these go by, i'll be sure to stick to the story well, and quick question. Instead of Veldin being the last planet, what if i have it be Equestria that they need to save, not just to set up a return to save Spike's home but also a nice reunion for him, and don't worry i still have more planned me and my new friend developed some interesting ideas, Hope you look forward to more and see you next time!

6: Planet Eudora

Spike, Ratchet and Clank are flying through Space once again heading to the next planet, they soon come into view of planet Eudora and land there.

They all get out and see the robots are chopping everything down much to they're anger.

"We can't let these robots destroy this planet, we have to stop them!" Spike said pulling out his swords.

"Agreed, let's wreck some bots!" Ratchet said pulling out his wrench.

The trio proceeded to fight they're way through the dozens or robots while making they're way around the area, they kept destroying ships that were meant to assist the robots as well, they fought they're way around and found some large buildings.

"Hey. you think there's something in there?" Spike asked pointing at the building.

"Maybe, hope it's something cool though" Ratchet replied.

"We won't know until we see for ourselves" Clank told them and they nodded in agreement and glided down to check things out.

The first building wasn't full of much to talk about there was only a few robots and a lot of crates to smash to get bolts, but when they fought to get they're way to the second one they took down three large robots with axes with ease as they're weapons are stronger.

"Man, hard to believe we've only been out here a couple days and we're already wiping bad robots butts" Spike said putting his blades away.

"Tell me about it, and only a couple of weeks after we met" Ratchet said walking up to him, they then noticed another weapon near the exit and went up to it.

"what is this?" Spike asked looking at it, Clank turned around and scanned it
"Ohh! this is the suck cannon, you can suck in multiple enemy's and fire them out like they're missiles, they have to be small enough to fit in though, so robots like the ones we just took down won't work." Clank explained and they both already liked that, Ratchet then picked it up.
"Sweet!" Ratchet said holding it with Spike looking at it with a smile.

"I saw a nearby door that we hadn't opened yet nearby the ship, we should see if that commander is near that area" Spike suggested and they nodded in agreement.

"Sounds good, let's go check it out." Ratchet replied as they went they're way to the ship again.

They continued to fight off multiple robots again, thankfully the Suck cannon was really helpful in clearing these things out, it made things a lot easier.
"Wow, who knew that these guys would hide such weapons" Spike said as he slashed down another robot.

"Yeah, wonder what other cool stuff they have waiting for us to find?" Ratchet replied as they cleared out the last and were making they're way back.

"You know Spike, even after we find a way to get you home, you could stick around with me while we travel through the galaxy, and visit the place every now and then." Ratchet offered and Spike looked a little surprised.

"Really? You think so?" Spike asked.

"Yeah, i mean after we tell your friends what you've been able to do by yourself without them , i'm sure they'd be perfectly fine with it!" Ratchet told him. Spike thought it all over, on one hand it would have him travel around and see multiple amazing things, but on the other, it meant that he would have to leave them alone. But Spike knew his friends, and he believed that even without him at they're side 24/7 they would be alright.

"Yeah, i like the sound of that, i'd just have to convince them i'll be fine with you, then hopefully it can mean more adventures through the galaxy!" Spike said exited about it.

"Great, i'll look forward to that, wonder what we'll see?" Ratchet asked.

"We'll find out once this is over, the door panel is nearby, let's go." Spike replied as they were near the door again.

Ratchet used the Trespasser on a lock and used it to open the door, they then glided over large gaps and used they're wrench to bring in some floating orbs ,they saw that this required they're other gadgets.

"we'll at least we can use our Swingshot's for this one" Spike said looking at the floating orbs.

"Hope we can use these at a later date, this is honestly fun" Ratchet said as he and Spike swinged around the area and landed on another platform, they used they're wrench once again and more platforms appeared, they jumped over them again and landed on a ledge, once again they used they're wrenches and two more green orbs appeared above them.

"I just hope things get a little more challenging, not that this is boring, but it feels a little to easy" Ratchet said as they landed near a building.

"Yeah, just hope we get to more interesting places soon" Spike replied, Ratchet hacked his way into the door again and it opened.

"Finally, let's see what we can find" Spike said as they went in.

They came face to face with the commander, Spike pulled out his blades ready to fight, while Clank got into a Karate pose, but the Commander suddenly stopped and a robot came out of his... it then looked scarred and ran away.

"That's it? Coward!" Spike shouted as it ran away, they were left confused at that.

"You two sure showed him." Ratchet said still confused.

"I suppose we did." Clank replied.

"How was that guy in charge of things, aren't these guys meant to be threatening?" Spike asked.

"I don't know, at least we got this Info bot" Ratchet said as an Info bot came up to them and opened a screen.

They then proceeded to watch was like a shameless commercial baiting poor people into working at some outpost station, the scientists tried to demonstrate stuff as Drek speaked about what the job offered, but it continued to backfire over and over, the video ended with the scientist saying he'll call for a job and the video ended.

"That was pretty sad honestly, it's like they don't even think we have actual brain cells" Spike said as he thought it over.

"Did you guys see all the cool gadgets they're making? Let's go get some!" Ratchet suggested, and Spike was honestly intrigued to go.

"No, we must continue our search for captain Qwark." Clank told them and they groaned at that.

"Clank, if Qwark is this big hero? How come we haven't seen or heard any news of him doing anything heroic with these things?" Spike asked and Clank hesitated.

"Well.. I " Clank was trying to think of something.

"If he's this big hero we should have at least heard about something, but we haven't honestly it's like we're the only ones doing the work around here." Spike told him and Ratchet nodded.

"Spike's right Clank, if Qwark is unavailable because of something, we should at least be able to take care of things while he's absent, and i think going to that Station would help us with that." Ratchet explained, Clank thought it all over and decided it was best they do.

"I suppose your right, i'm sorry" Clank apologized and Spike sighed.

"Look it's alright, i'm sorry to , i just think that it's important we focus on Drek, then we'll meet him somewhere down the line" Spike suggested.

"He's right, let's use the Coordinates from the info bot and go to the station, we might find something interesting" Ratchet told them.

"I suppose so, let's get going then" Clank replied and they smiled at that.

"Great, let's go!" Spike said as he and Ratchet made they're way out, they all went back to they're ship and took off to the station to see if there is anything interesting.

7: The Blarg Station

The Trio continued to fly through space once again on they're way to the station, they did a few loops every now and then to keep things entertaining, but they soon finally came upon the station and went to it. They entered the place and got out of they're ship, Spike looked around pretty impressed.

"Gotta say, i'm impressed on how well people can make things here." Spike said looking at the place.

"Let's hope we find some cool gadgets, lets go!" Ratchet said as they went around.

Ratchet proceeded to buy a weapon called the Taunter, which will make enemy's come to them and leave them open to attack. They used this to they're advantage as they went they're way through the station.

It was a big mess honestly, there were creatures coming out from the vents and they had to take down dozens of them at once.

"I don't think this place cares for safety hazards" Spike said as they finished the last one.

"Yeah, who the heck would wanna work here? I don't care if it pays well, we're getting lot's of bolts from just smashing crates" Ratchet said as they moved on.

"You know it's kind of weird that people actually would wanna work here." Spike said as they kept moving.

"Yeah, i'm never working for these people that's for sure" Ratchet replied and they all nodded in agreement as they kept moving.

They proceeded to move through more rooms, they had to jump across some large ledges and go above high platforms, they had to avoid steams of gas and lasers, they kept on moving more. They then had to fight off some weird science experiments as they broke free from they're glass tubes much to they're shock.

"Yep, these guys do not care for safety" Spike said as he slashed down one.

They took down the creatures again and continued forward, they made they're way through a large open space that had caves of such, they then had to move around a platform with lasers from left to right and disable the power source, they then entered a large green room in which a huge one of the monsters came down.

"Who made that thing?!" Spike said pointing at it.

"Don't know, but i know what we have to do!" Ratchet said taking out his wrench, Spike sighed as he took out his swords and charged at it.

This was tougher then the other ones they've faced, it had a long reach to attack them which they had to dodge, they then to take out smaller versions of it again as it was like a boss arena, but eventually they stopped it by slashing at it one more time and Ratchet used his flamethrower and the thing was defeated.

"If this is what becomes of the creatures on planets if we don't stop these guys, then i won't stand by and let it happen" Spike said looking at the monster.

"I won't either let's see if there's anything up ahead" Ratchet said as they looked at the nearby door. They both nodded in agreement and went forward.

When they got to the room they saw a scientist on a crate trying not to be attacked by two smaller monsters, Spike came up and slashed at them and they were defeated, the scientist calmed down relieved.

" Phew! Thought i was a goner this time! Someone in genetics must have left the cages open again!" The scientist told them.

"Again?" Spike asked raising his eyebrow.

"You can come down now." Ratchet told him and the scientist hopped off

"Honestly, a gadget engineer deserves a bit more respect if you ask me!" He said a little annoyed.

"That depends on who you work for honestly." Spike told him.

"So, you are an inventor!" Clank told him.

"Gadget Engineer, i create revolutionary devices for executive chairmen Drek" He corrected.

"That's the same as an inventor." Spike said and they chuckled a little at that.

' Whatever, for instance, my newest inventions, my soon to be patented Grind boots" He said pulling out two pairs of boots with skates on the bottom.

" Look i need to get out of here so i can find a new job, how bout i sell you these? At cost!" He offered much to they're shock.

"Sell?! After we just saved your scrawny butt?!" Ratchet asked upset.

"This is how you repay us from that?" Spike asked angry as he was cowering in front of them.

"Alright alright! I'll give you two the employee discount too!" He told them and they sighed in annoyance at that, they then payed him the proper amount of bolts and he handed them the boots.

"Well thanks, i better get out of here while i still can" He said as he went to a nearby ship and they looked at the boots.
"At least we got something after going through all that." Spike said looking at the boots, Ratchet then noticed there was a rail nearby them.

"Hey looks like there's a way back to the ship right there, let's test these out while we do so." Ratchet suggested, Spike smile at that and they put the boots on and jumped on it.
The grinding was pretty fun, they got to see multiple parts of the station as they went down, they eventually jumped down and landed on the ground.

"Whoo! that was fun!" Spike said feeling great from that.

"Yeah, wonder there else there is here?" Ratchet asked as they looked around, they then noticed a nearby door and they used the Trespasser on it and it opened.

'Looks like we can't go out there, Clank you think you can go out there to see if you can find anything?" Spike asked.

"Of course, leave it to me, just stay out of trouble you two!" Clank said as he went to the door.
"Right, just be careful yourself okay?" Ratchet asked and Clank nodded and he left them alone.

The two had been waiting a little while before Ratchet noticed Spike was looking a little down.

"You okay Spike?" Ratchet asked worried, Spike only sighed.

"I'm just worried about my friends, i literally vanished in front of them, and now they could be searching everywhere for me, not to mention these devices we've found, it's like there's a bigger picture that none of us know about, i just have to wonder who left these for me, and why i feel so familiar with them." Spike asked looking at the armor and swords, Ratchet looked down sadly as he felt bad for him.

"I know things are rough now despite what we've been through, i never even knew my parents or my own kind, you should consider yourself lucky that you have one to call your own.. i... never really had mine, i just grew up on that planet dreaming of traveling the galaxy one day, then i met you, and you gave me hope and motivated me to work hard on that ship, and thanks to Clank we now have that chance" Ratchet told him.

"i'm sorry to hear that, if i could i'd help you find yours, i just hope that one day we push through this and find my home, and maybe we could be like brothers?" Spike asked and Ratchet smiled at that.

"I like the sound of that, let's focus on stopping Drek and then we'll search for your home" Ratchet told him and they both smiled at eachother.

"Thank you for this, really, i don't know where i'd be if i hadn't met you" Spike told him, just before they could continue talking Clank came back through the elevator.

"I'm back." Clank told them.

"So you are." Ratchet replied.

"How'd things go?" Spike asked, Clank then pulled out another gadget and tossed it to Ratchet." I found this" he told them.

"Cool! It's a.. what is it?" He asked

"This is a hydrodisplacer" Clank explained.

"Great, i always wanted one of those.. i guess" He said a little awkwardly.
"Well in other words thanks for going out there Clank" Spike told him and Clank smiled at that.

"You are welcome, did everything go well while i was gone?" He asked getting on Ratchet's back again.
"Yeah just was a little bored while we waited, but nothing bad happened." Spike explained.
"Glad to hear that, there is a small ship nearby, i think it will take us to the nearby ship." Clank suggested.

'Sounds good to me, let's hope we find something interesting." Ratchet said as they got moving again.
"Hopefully we find an info bot or something like that." Spike said as they kept moving.

The next part of the station had them taking a small ship to one that was nearby the station, they then had to fight they're way through a hallway with more robots and monsters, thanks to the taunter Ratchet used, it was able to fool them into walking into hazards making them explode.

"Who programed these guys?" Spike asked as they moved forward.
"Don't know, i'm just glad we have a smart guy like Clank with us" Ratchet told him.
" Thank you for that, i must agree that they're programming is a bit.. wonky i think" Clank asked trying to put it into better words.

They kept on moving and they soon came upon the bridge, they took down more scorpion like monsters and soon found a large button.
"Ooh! Shiny!" Ratchet said looking at it.

"Ratchet don't you dare.. it could be for something bad." Spike said annoyed.
"He is right, it could be for something dangerous!" Clank warned as they tried to stop him, Ratchet wasn't listening and pushed the button.

"Ratchet!!" Spike and Clank both shouted as the ground started to shake.
"Self destruct sequence initiated!" The computer voice told them.

"I freaking told you!" Spike said annoyed.
"Sorry! We'll talk about this later, let's get out of here!" Ratchet said with worry as they ran as fast as they could.

The place was coming down as multiple explosions were seen coming from multiple parts of it, they had less then a minute to escape while they ran, Spike noticed an info bot right next to the way out and he quickly grabbed it right before the thing exploded.

They then went back on the ship and watched as the thing they were on had just exploded and they sighed in relief.

"5 more seconds and we'd have been goners." Ratchet said as they entered the station, Spike then slapped him on the arm annoyed.
"Ow! Sorry sorry! I won't do something like that again i promise!" Ratchet defended, Spike was still upset but sighed as he calmed down.
" i'm Sorry too, i was just upset as well, let's see what this info bot has for us" Spike said pulling the thing out and they watched another video.

They then proceeded to watch a news report of what looks like a women talking about the hoverboard races in Blackwater city, Captain Qwark will apparently be there to present the prizes to whoever wins the thing, she also talked about an infestation of some strange creatures, they saw some large blob like monster was behind her and was about to eat her right as the camera cut off.

"Geez!" Spike said worried for her.
"Did you see that?" Ratchet asked them.
"Yes, i hope that poor woman is alright." Clank said worried with Spike nodding worried for her as well, but Ratchet brushed it off.

"Ah she's fine, i think.. I was talking about the hoverboard races" Ratchet corrected.

"Shouldn't we be worried about these creatures in the city?" Spike asked worried
'That shouldn't be much of a problem for us, besides Qwark is said to be there, i think it's best we'd go to finally meet him" Ratchet suggested, Spike was still a little unsure but sighed.

"Alright then, let's head to the city, i just hope Qwark has a good reason for us not hearing anything about him" Spike said a little upset on that.
"I'm sure he has a logical reason, let's head there now" Clank told them, They all nodded and went back to they're ship and headed to Blackwater city.

Again sorry if the dialogue seems a little awkward, but there wasn't much to these first games in terms of story and interactions like the other ones i've done so i hope you don't mind, i'll try working on better exchanges as the story progresses though. 8: Blackwater City

The trio proceed to fly through space some more, they soon come upon planet Rilgar, they enter the atmosphere and land near the outskirts of the city

"Man, this place looks like it needs a bit of a fix up" Spike says looking at the nearby city.
"Tell me about it, let's head into the city to try to find the way to the hoverboard races." Ratchet suggested.
"Hopefully we will find Qwark here too" Clank said and they nodded in agreement.

They proceeded to head to their left and try to get to the races first, they had to jump over some supplies ships and head to a nearby elevator.

"Man, Twilight's never gonna believe what i'm seeing now" Spike said as they look around, they take down some of those weird blob creatures in the process, fire is apparently the best way to take them down so they both had the advantage in that, they activated a bridge which helped them get across and they fought they're way through more of the place.

"Aren't these guys only meant to be targeting these blob monsters?" Spike asked as he slashed one in half.
"I don't think they're programming was properly finished if they are attacking us" Ratchet said as he knocked one away with his wrench.
"Yes, i believe that they either are malfunctioning.. or are just a little stupid" Clank suggested and they chuckle at that.

"Wouldn't be the first robots we've seen that are like that then" Spike said as he finished the last one, Ratchet then noticed a taxi nearby.
"There, that should take us into the city let's go." Ratchet suggested as they walked over to it. They hovered around the place for a bit and they entered the city, only to see more robots taking down the monsters.

"Guess they are somewhat working properly" Spike said looking the battle go out.
"We aren't gonna get anywhere just watching them, let's take care of them" Ratchet said pulling out his flamethrower with Spike taking out his blades.

They fought through the area until it was all cleared out, Spike then noticed a sketchy looking guy and Ratchet noticed him to, they both took caution and walked up to him.

"Psst hey guys, RYNO for your robot trade you" He offered much to Spike's confusion what he meant.
"Well... okay" Ratchet said.
"Ratchet!" Spike and Clank both shouted.

"I'm kidding, sorry he's not for sale, neither is Spike, what's a RYNO anyway?" Ratchet asked
"Rip ya a new one" He explained.

"What did you just say to me?" Ratchet asked a little offended.
" R Y N O, Rip ya a new one" He explained again.

"Why that is the most powerful missile launcher in the galaxy! I know it is worth a lot of bolts! He must have stolen it from the Blarg" Clank accused.
"Stolen?!" He asked offended.
"Clank given what the Blarg's are doing right now, i don't really mind if he did or didn't" Spike explained.

"Yeah listen to the kid, you got anything worth it?" He offered, Spike thought about it for a moment and got an idea.

"How about this?" Spike asked as he pulled out a sapphire gem he had from home.
"Quite the gem you have there, what is it?" He asked and Spike thought over a good way to get it.

"This is an extremely valuable gem where i'm from, the right person can get ya a lot of money, how about it?" Spike asked.
"Quite the deal you making, sure thing then" He agreed. he then pulled out the RYNO and handed it to Spike and he gave him the gem.
"This thing is heavy!" Spike said struggling to hold it

"Yeah try carrying it around in your trench coat for 2 months" He said showing 2 fingers, Spike put it away and looked at him.
"Let's agree we never spoke about this.' Spike told him and he nodded.
"I like ya already kid, pleasure doing business with ya, you's three have a nice day" he said walking off and the others were walking off as well.

When they were far away long enough Ratchet looked at Spike.
"That was easier then i thought it would be" Clank said a little surprised
"Is that gem really valuable where your from?" Ratchet asked, and Spike chuckled

"Your asking the wrong dragon, you wanna buy some gems?" He asked and he showed a bag full of them, and Ratchet laughed hard at that.
"You sly dog!" Ratchet said laughing with Clank even laughing as well
"I must admit, even i did not expect that!" Clank said as they were still laughing, Spike was trying to shush them but it was hard to and they continued off.

Spike used this new weapon to help them tear through any enemy that came they're way, Clank wasn't kidding when he said it was the strongest missile launcher in the galaxy.

"Man how do they make these things?!" Spike asked amazed as he shot down more enemy's
"I don't know, but i'm glad we have stuff like these" Ratchet said as they continued.

They fought they're way through more enemy's and through a maze like area where they had to turn off laser grids and jump over a manhole pipe as the steam brought it up, they took down a large tank of sorts and took one more elevator and ended up near the entrance.

They saw a woman near a large screen and walked up to her.

"Welcome to the intergalactic hoverboard competition! Qwarks giving away a Platinum Zoomerator and a special device to the winners of this years competition" She explained.
"A platinum Zoomerator! perhaps that is the proof that skid's agent requires!" Clank told them, and Spike got curious about the other thing she said.

"Special device?" Spike asked curious
"Yeah, we found it not to long ago, we don't know what it does, but higher ops figured some people would be more interested in it." She explained and Spike nodded in understanding
"Sounds like something i should look into. You ready for this Ratchet?" Spike asked.
"Of course, let's go!" Ratchet said ready to go.
"We'll good luck you two." She told them and they entered the races.

Ratchet and Spike had the most fun they had in this race, the racers they were against weren't the meanest out there, but they were a tough competition. Spike used his hoverboard to pull of multiple tricks for the race amazing the audience, Ratchet took multiple speed boosts to get ahead further. Spike and Ratchet were neck and neck right before the finish line, but it ended up being a tie as they both hit the line at the same time.

"We'll at least we're evenly matched with eachother right?" Spike asked as they heard the audience cheer them on
"Yeah, i'm glad we could finish together!" Ratchet said as they bumped eachothers fists.
"Look Qwark is on the screen!" Clank said pointing at it and the other two looked at it.

"Hi folks, Captain Qwark here! it is my distinct pleasure here to introduce this years intergalactic champions! Let's give it up for.." He is then cut off as a photo of the three of them appear on screen.
"Ratchet, Spike and Clank!" A computer voice says and the audience cheers at that.

"Hey look that's us!" Ratchet said pointing at it.
"Awesome!" Spike says happy at that.

" today's winners will take home a brand privational grade model T 15 Platinum Zoomerator, and as well as a special device we found, we have no idea what it does, but hey hope you all find use for it!" Qwark says as the lady hands them two new hoverboards and a device with a familiar metal...

"Awesome, we're the champions!" Ratchet said holding the hoverboard in the air, Spike looks at the device curiously.

"It's another one of these things.." Spike says holding it, the device suddenly glows green and Ratchet and Clank look on with interest.

The device then begins to morph into something else, after a few moments the thing materialized into what looks like a special rocket launcher.

"Whoa.." Spike says looking at it in amazement
"Now that is something else." Ratchet said looking at is surprised as well.
"We'll this is certainly unexpected. you should go see Qwark! His trailer is right over there!" The announcer said pointing at a nearby trailer from an open gate.

"We'll this should be interesting" Clank said curious.
"We'll we're here now, let's go see Qwark" Ratchet said walking up to it.
"Hopefully he has a good reason for slacking on this robot invasion people are going through" Spike said annoyed as they walk up to it.

After they payed a security guard that was tired of not being properly payed they entered the trailer to finally meet Qwark.

"Captain Qwark?" Clank asks as they walk in, only to find him asleep much to Spike's annoyance.
"I knew he would be slacking off or something like this" Spike thought as he woke up.

"What's that?" He asks suddenly jumping off.
"Its Ratchet, Spike and Clank captain! you know from the ho" He was trying to explain but was interrupted.

"Oh yes yes i know who you are" He said recognizing them.
"You do?" Spike and Ratchet both asked confused.

"Yes and thank the galaxy you found me! There's an awful plot being hatched to destroy our planets!" He says worried, Spike felt something was off.
"Ratchet Spike, he knows!" clank says surprised.
"Figured he did' Spike said still suspicious.
"Great.." Ratchet said sarcastically

" My friends, we're all in grave danger, and i believe that together, we can put a stop to this madness" Qwark said putting his fingers together.
"Together huh?" Spike asked unconvinced.
"Together? You mean you want our help?" Ratchet asked.

"Look, Ratchet, Spike, i've been keeping an eye on you two, and i've never seen anyone with such raw talent and special weapons" He tells them looking at Spike saying the last part.
"You two are true heroes in the making" He tells them, and Ratchet is surprised by it.

"Really? You mean we can be famous?" Ratchet asked, but Spike was still sketchy of him.
"Oh absolutely! Oh here take this!" He said handing them an info bot.

They proceeded to watch a video of what it would take to be a hero, and that he is looking for partners to fight by his side, the info bot they have contains coordinates to a base that will be an obstacle course for them to face through, and they could become a hero.

"Wow, when was this thing made?" Spike asked weirded out by that.
"Meet me at my headquarters" He tells them, Spike is still suspicious about this but decides to play along.

"Hey, Captain Ratchet and Spike, what do you think?" He asked them.
"I like the sound of that.. maybe" Spike says playing along.
"we won't fail you sir we promise!" Clank said as Qwark was making his way out.

"Let's get back to the ship and head to these coordinates" Ratchet suggested as they left, Clank noticed something was wrong with Spike.

"Is everything okay Spike?" Clank asked with Ratchet noticing as well.
"Somethings not right, if he's looking for a partner, how come we haven't heard of any of this? You'd think this kind of announcement would have everyone looking to be Qwarks partner, i don't buy it, i think somethings off" Spike said looking back at the trailer.

"I will admit, it is weird that we haven't heard anything about this, but i think it would greatly benefit for us, come on imagine what it would be like if you were a hero when you get home." Ratchet told him, Spike thought it over and decided it was for the best.
"alright then, let's head to this planet. but if i'm right in some way you both owe me 100 bolts each' Spike tells them.
"We have nothing to worry about let's get going" Clank said getting in the ship.

"You worry to much Spike, let's go!" Ratchet said getting in as well, Spike still felt unsure but decided they should find out for themselves, and he got into the ship and headed off to Qwarks HQ.

Hey guys hope you liked this one! Sorry if it feels out of character for Spike to trick the guy into getting the RYNO, but i feel like given the type of person this guy is Spike wouldn't mind trying to get something out of it. And don't worry i'll have Spike give Ratchet the RYNO later in the story sometime before the finale, because as he acts after the next planet i don't think its the best time to do so. Other then that, i hope you liked this chapter and i'll see you next time!

9: Umbris and Qwarks HQ

The trio proceeded to fly through space yet again to Qwark's HQ with the coordinates he gave them. Spike was still suspicious of him as he could tell something isn't right, they soon came upon the planet called Umbris and landed on a nearby platform and got out of the ship, they were greeted by Qwark with a megaphone in a helicopter.

"Welcome to my challenge course! Now's your chance to prove yourself strong and brave like me," He said chuckling at the last part, but everything was so loud they could barely hear him.
" Conquer it and you'll join me in my fight against evil!" He explained.

"Haven't we done enough already?!" Ratchet shouted but things were to loud.
"Yeah seriously, we got the freaking RYNO for crying out loud!" Spike said as he pulled the thing out.

"What? I can't hear you!" He said when he actually can.
"I said haven't we done" Ratchet tried to shout again.
"Sorry, still can't hear you! Tell me later!" Qwark told them and Spike growled at that.

"Later?! We might be dead by then!" Ratchet argued.
"Your doing this on purpose aren't you?!" Spike accused.
"What?!" He asked again.

"Alright guys let's get going" Ratchet said as they saw him start to fly off.
"Is it okay if i shoot him?" Spike asked aiming the RYNO at the helicopter.
"Spike! No." Clank said stopping him.
"I know he may be a bit.. dumb but he's not evil" Ratchet said trying to reason with him, Spike sighed and put the thing away.

"Sorry, but i can swear to Celestia that he's doing this on purpose." Spike said looking at the course ahead.
"This may just be how he tests people, let's just get going." Ratchet told him.
"Alright then, let's go." Spike said as Clank went on Ratchet's back and they headed down to the course.

They started things off by simply Swingshoting they're way across a few platforms, they then used Clanks helicopter pack and Spike's robot wings to hover down to the starting point. They continued by taking down a few devices that were throwing out bombs, they then shot down some mines that homed in on them when they were close enough.

They proceeded to dodge machine gun fire that came back up after a small time after they hit it.
"What kind of obstacle course is this?! This is like we're going through a warzone!" Spike said as he smashed down the gun
" No idea, but then again, we haven't been off Veldin for a bit, so maybe this is how things are here" Ratchet said as they were crossing a bridge.

" Somethings going on with Qwark i just know it" Spike said as he pulled out his new rocket launcher and fired it, the blast was so powerful it destroyed any machine that came into contact with it surprising all of them.
"Whoa..." They all said surprised looking at the rocket launcher, Qwark was watching from ahead and gulped.
"I think i may have picked the wrong side.." Qwark said looking down a little scared.

"That thing may be stronger then the RYNO itself!" Clank said amazed.
"Who made these things?!" Ratchet asked surprised.
"I don't know.. but i feel a.. connection with these devices" Spike said looking at the swords, armor and weapon.

"Do you think they may be built by relatives?" Clank questioned as they made they're way through more.
"I don't know, i never knew my real parents, they could have been anything, i just wished i knew why my egg was alone and found by Celestia all that time ago.." Spike said recalling what happened.
"Don't worry buddy, once drek is done with, we'll find your home and hopefully get to the bottom of this" Ratchet said as they pressed down upon 3 buttons opening a door to go further into the place.
"Thanks, hopefully this will be worth it in the end." Spike said as they continued on.

They proceeded to jump over falling platforms from a bridge they crossed, they then made they're way through a area with barbed wire while avoiding a machine gun. They used they're swingshot to make they're way over a large gap, they then made they're way through a large area and had to press on three more buttons to open a door further while avoiding gunfire.

They used they're blasters and swords to slice down more mines that came at them and press on three more buttons to open another door leading them inside.

"How many buttons are there that we need to press?" Spike asked as they went it.
"I don't know, but i hope it doesn't become tedious" Ratchet said as drained a water pool and climbed through a tunnel while monster fish were on the ground.
"You guys up for alien sushi?" Spike asked looking at the fish.
"Not now, but maybe later." Ratchet said as they took them out and they swam under a wall and entered another area, they drained the water again and used their Swingshot to travel over the gap.

They took out the monster fish in the next area they found and then used the water device to fill it up and then press down on three buttons yet again, they opened another door and then drained the area again to make they're way to the steps, they proceeded through a small cave and grabbed some extra ammo before they finally saw Qwark at the end.

"Finally! This had better be worth it" Spike said gratefully as they finished the course.
"See, that wasn't so tough now was it?" Ratchet asked as they walked in.
"Your one to talk Ratchet" Spike replied as he still felt a little tired but they soon walked up to him.

"Well, well. you three continue to surprise me" Qwark said as he walked upon a platform and went into the air.
"Alright Qwark what's this about?" Spike asked wanting to know what's going on.
"Step into the ring of heroes, and i will finally give you what you deserve!" He told them as Clank was walking up to him.

"Ratchet, Spike, this is no time to be cautious! We have reached our goal!" Clank said excitedly, Ratchet and Spike looked at eachother as they both felt something was off.
"I think Spike's been right about something now, this is too strange" Ratchet told him as he's caught on with Spike's suspicions.
"Yeah, this is his HQ?" Spike asked looking around the small place.

"Listen to your little friend Ratchet and Spike, your destiny's are mere steps away." Qwark said trying to make them come up a little.

" Why can't we stand back here just a little?" Spike asked suspicious.
"It's just something doesn't seem right" Ratchet said curious as well, but Clank ran up to them and grabbed they're hands.
"This is it, Qwark is going to help us stop Chairmen Drek!" Clank said as they stopped on a small metal platform, Qwark then smiled evilly.

"Why thank you Clank, you have been most helpful.." Qwark said as he held out a button and pressed it, they then fell through the platform.
" I knew it!!" Spike shouted as they fell.

They then landed on the ground, but Clank floated down on them and they got mad at that.
"Get off of us you idiot!" Ratchet said mad.
"I told you something was up!" Spike said pointing at Clank mad as well. Qwark was then laughing evilly.

"I love it when a plan comes together!" Qwark said victoriously. Clank then looked confused
"What do you mean?" Clank asked.

"What do you think he means genius? He's not gonna help us, he's gonna kill us!" Ratchet told him.
"I should have seen this coming a mile away!" Spike said upset.

"You two catch on quick" Qwark said pointing at them.
"Although there is one problem with your hypothesis, i'm not going to kill you" Qwark told them.

"Your not?" Spike and Ratchet both asked confused.
"No.. he is" Qwark said pointing at the large monster from that one commercial, talk about foreshadowing.

" But why?" Clank asked betrayed.
" But why?" Qwark mocked." It's really not that difficult to decipher." Qwark began to explain.

" I'm the official Spokesmen for Drek's new Planet, i can't have you three getting in the way of my comeback!" He told them.
"Your only doing this for yourself! That's not what a real hero does! When i get my hands on you.." Spike said mad as he knows Qwark was doing this for selfish reasons which he hated big time.
"This isn't over Qwark!" Ratchet said mad.
"No.. but it will be soon" Qwark said looking at the monster and he floated away leaving them with the beast.

The monster roared at them in anger, the monster started to walk to them created waves of fire from each step, Spike and Ratchet jumped over them and landed on a platform, Spike took out the RYNO and fired at it doing massive damage.
"I knew something was up about him, how could i have been so stupid!" Spike asked as they continued to fight the thing.
" I should have listened to you, we'll talk about this later when this thing is done with" Ratchet said as he and Spike attacked the thing more.

Spike pulled out his blades and charged at the monster in anger, the monster fired a beam nearby him which lit the ground on fire but he ran through it as he was immune to fire and lava, Spike then jumped on the monster and stabbed it in its arms and it roared in pain as it created a barrier around it and Spike jumped back down. Ratchet then noticed a nearby bridge.

"There, that thing could be unstable, let's draw him to it!" Ratchet said pointing at the thing, they proceeded to lead the monster to the bridge and like Ratchet predicted, the bridge collapsed and he fell into the lava and the barrier went down. Spike then handed Ratchet the RYNO for a bit and pulled out his special rocket launcher.

"On 3! 1,2,3!" Spike shouted as he and Ratchet took aim and fired at the thing, the combined power of the two weapons was strong enough to send the thing flying and it fell into the lava and drowned as they had defeated it. Ratchet then handed Spike the RYNO back as he was the one who got it, a door then opened behind them.

Spike sighed as he calmed down to get a hold himself as they walked up to an info bot.
" I wonder what that info bot is for?" Clank asked, but Spike and Ratchet were still mad at him.
"Maybe it can replace you." Ratchet said pointing at him, the info bot then opened and showed them a video.

They see what looks like a commander in trouble at a warzone.
" We're pinned down! We're pinned down! The ships are hammering down are positions from the air!" He explained as they could hear a loud exposition.
"That was a little too close! We need support now!" He explained.
"Actually i need support!, my comrades went AWOL and left me to fight this war on my own!" He explained.

"If the enemy doesn't kill those guys, i will! I'm not gonna last much longer! Requesting immediate assistance! Over and out!" He shouted as the video ended. Spike was really worried for the guy as he looked in trouble, Sure he was mad at Qwark for betraying them and Clank for not realizing this, but he wasn't gonna leave another person to die, he knew Twilight would never forgive him if he did.

" Those are Drek's ships destroying that planet, we must help that poor commando!" Clank said worried, but Ratchet wasn't having it.
"Are you serious?! That's it! We're out of here! Come on Spike" Ratchet said walking to a nearby ship, Spike knew Ratchet was mad, but he didn't want to make things worse, he just hopes he can talk him down at one point.
"Captain Qwark is gonna be sorry he messed with us." Ratchet said as he took Spike's hand and walked away
" We just got betrayed by Qwark! He's the reason that planet doesn't have anyone to help it! do you think we're gonna let him get away with that?" Spike asked Clank as they walked to the ship.

"This is no longer about Qwark, there are innocent lives being lost" Clank told them, Spike sighed as he knew it was true, but he was too mad at Qwark for not wanting to be a hero for others, rather it's just for himself.
"Yeah?! Well i'm done with this stupid hero stuff! Spike and i got our own agenda now" Ratchet argued.

"Ratchet, Spike, this is not like you guys." Clank said trying to convince them.
"What do you know about us?! You don't know anything about us! All this time you've been trying to find Qwark, I promised Spike i'd help him find his home, and we've been wasting time trying to find Qwark, do you know how worried his friends could be?! We've been wasting time here instead of trying to find Spike's home like i promised." Ratchet told him.

he may be mad at both Qwark and Clank, but one of the reasons is because he knew Spike was missing from his family, and they could have using that time to find his home.

"He's right, Clank, my friends could either be in danger or extremely worried, i literally disappeared in front of them" Spike explained.
"I do know you two will do the right thing" Clank told them.
"Yeah, well the first thing we're going to do is find Qwark and then get Spike home" Ratchet said as he and Spike climbed up into the ship.

"How do you start this stupid thing?" Ratchet asked upset and Spike sighed at that.
" Have you forgotten, you two need a robotic ignition system, i will help you start the ship, if you agree to help that commando." He offered.
"Ratchet, i know your mad, i am too, but if we help that guy, we could get closer to finding Qwark and getting back at him, Twilight would never forgive me if i left that guy to die." Spike told him, Ratchet calmed down a little as he knew Spike was a good person at heart, he was too.. he's just to upset right now.
"Alright, your right on that. get in and start this ship" Ratchet told Clank as he got in and closed the hatch.

They proceeded to take off to help that Commando, Spike knew things were going to be rougher from here on for a bit, but he hoped that he would bring them back to being a team again.

Don't worry about Ratchet being a jerk, i think the one thing we can all agree on the first game is that Ratchet was to much of a jerk in the second half, but don't worry i plan to have Spike talk him down so they can be put on better terms much sooner don't worry! 10: Planet Batalia

Qwark was currently in Drek's flagship and talking with him.

"Back so soon?" He asked and Qwark jumped a little.
"Oh! Your talking to me!" Qwark said nervously, Drek then turned around to him.
"I'm not on the habit of talking to myself you buffoon, did you get rid of them?" He asked mad, Qwark was still hesitant.

"Yes no... well i.. i had this plan and i thought" He tried to explain but was interrupted.
"You thought?! you thought?! I do the thinking around here you slug brained idiot!" He insulted.
"I simply needed you to eliminate those three nuisances before they could cause any real trouble!" He said mad.

"But i wanted to.." Qwark was interrupted again
"Do you still want to be the highly paid spokesman for my new planet?" He asked and Qwark nodded
"Then the next time i send you to do a job i want RESULTS!" Drek said furious before turning around and going on the computer

"And now, that dragon has extremely high tech weaponry that even surpasses the best of what we have!" Drek said as he looked at multiple pictures of him using the weaponry.

"Where did this stuff even come from?" Qwark asked curious.
"Even i don't know that, the tech and metal is different then any kind in the galaxy." Drek said interested himself.
"Well one thing i do know is, that that tech seems to be only activating whenever he uses them, anyone else and poof its not working" Qwark explained and Drek looked intrigued by that.

"Seems you do have some brain cells, find out more about this dragon and his weaponry! Now get out of my sight!" Drek ordered, Qwark immediately left the room in a hurry and Drek turned back around.
"The more important question is.. where did you come from you little punk." Drek asked looking at him.

We cut to the three flying through space in they're new ship to help that commando at planet Batalia, they came upon the planet and entered it, they landed on the ground and got out, and they were greeted with a war torn planet that looks like it's seen better days.

"This is awful.. i can't believe that Qwark would allow his own ego to be more important to himself then to save planets like this" Spike said upset looking around.
"Oh don't worry Spike, when we find Qwark we're gonna make him wish he never had an ego" Ratchet said mad.

They then walked up to the commando from earlier and he then noticed them.
"At attention you deserted maggots!" He demanded, the three of them then saluted.

"Next time you soldiers try to go AWOL i'll shoot you myself!" He said mad.
"Geez.. someone's got anger issues." Spike said.
"I just wanna.." Ratchet tried to talk but was interrupted.
"Zip it worm!" He ordered.

"You see those bombers?! if you don't get to the turrets to knock those ships out of the sky, this whole planets gonna be rubble!!" He explained shocking them.
"Meet me at the city entrance!" He ordered before walking away.

"Wow.. that just happened.." Spike said still shocked.
"He needs our help." Clank told them and Spike sighed.

"Come on Ratchet, the sooner we get this done the sooner we find Qwark, this may actually help us to finding him." Spike asked.
"Alright fine, let's just get going." Ratchet said before they started to head off.

There was currently a rain storm happening they made they're way through a few enemy's that were easily dealt with thanks to Spike's weaponry, they then noticed a grind rail to they're right and walked up to it, they saw what looks like an entire section leading somewhere.

"Well, guess it couldn't hurt to take a little detour." Spike said looking at the thing.
"Well, there might be something interesting at the end, you wanna find out?" Ratchet asked.
"Yeah, let's just hurry things up here." Spike replied and Ratchet nodded in agreement, they both jumped on the rails and started to grind around the place.

It was a little tough to try to get around for them, the rails split up into multiple paths leading to different areas across the place, they had to jump through rings to avoid falling off, they even had to shoot down bombs that were placed there for some reason, the two continued to grind around the place until they reached the end and found a soldier.

"Halt! Who are you? What are you doing?!" He asked pointing his gun at them, Clank had his hands in the air.
"We are on a mission to save the galaxy." Clank explained.

"Speak for yourself, and put your hands down please." Ratchet said as Clank did so.
"Yeah, it's unnecessary dude" Spike said shaking his head.

"Actually i don't care who you are. i've gotta get the heck outta here! I joined the army to get money to go to college, i never knew i'd end up in a war!" He told them.
"Sorry to hear about that dude." Spike said sadly.
"This is a noble cause sir!" Clank told him.

"Noble my hinny! i just wanna get home to my family! here, i pulled this out of a busted robot, give me some bolts for bus fair and it's yours!" He explained while holding an info bot.

Spike gave him the proper amount and he handed them the bot.
"Thanks a bunch, good luck saving the galaxy or whatever" He said before jumping out into the water much to Ratchet and Spike's confusion.
"Hope that guys swims well" Spike said as they looked at the Info bot.

They proceeded to watch a video explaining that a scientist has made a thing called the Pilots helmet, which will allow them to pilot most ships by themselves, the person testing it out crashed sadly, the scientist looked embarrassed for a moment while saying that they're working out the kinks before the video ended.

"Well, that helmet works for those who have concentrated thoughts, so that guy who tried to fly clearly wasn't focused enough." Spike said looking at the thing confused, Clank nodded in agreement as he was thinking the same thing.
"Whoa, if they ever get the kinks worked outta that thing, i have got to get us a couple of those!" Ratchet said amazed.

"If they are working for chairmen Drek, they may know where he and Qwark are" Clank suggested.
"Yeah, we get information from them, we could get closer to getting back at Qwark, let's just finish up things here and head to this planet's coordinates." Spike said agreeing.
"Your right on that, let's just catch up with that commando and get this over with." Ratchet said before looking at the teleporter next to them.

They proceeded to use it and ended up next to they're ship again, they both agreed to head to the Commando first to help him out with these bombers and headed through the field.

Spike had thought the last place was like a warzone, but this is actually a warzone. they had to fight they're way's through tons of tough enemy's and even destroyed a few tanks in the process, Spike was not even a teenager and he was already fighting in a warzone.

"Hey Spike, you okay?" Ratchet asked as they made they're way through.
"Yeah, it's just.. i never thought i would be fighting in a literal warzone in this adventure." Spike said as he slashed down a robot hiding in the bushes.
"Yeah, me neither, guess faith has different things for us then huh?" Ratchet asked as he smashed another robot with his wrench, they both came upon another Tank, Spike pulled out the rocket launcher and fired it at it and it destroyed the tank and any robot that came in it's path.

"I just hope this get's done with soon, i just hope nothing bad's happened back home while i've been gone." Spike said hopefully.
"Don't worry buddy, when this is over, i'll bring you back home safe and sound, and hopefully we'll be able to go on adventures under better circumstances." Ratchet said as they continued forward.
"Thanks Ratchet, i'm glad to have you by my side. i see the Commando just up ahead, let's see what what he needs." Spike said as they saw him ahead.

They came upon the city's entrance and the commando was right next to the bridge.
"Blasted thing won't budge! I've tried everything i know short of nuclear weaponry." He said looking at a.. simple bolt needing to be screwed in.
"Well, you tried, see ya." Ratchet said trying to leave.

"Not so fast soldiers, you two are going into that compound even if i have to throw you!" He told them and they shook they're heads, he then noticed a metal shaft next to them.

"That ventilation shaft leads to the turret platform! Soldiers, find a way to use that shaft to infiltrate into the compound undetected!" He ordered and Spike saluted.

"Yes sir, we'll get right on it!" Spike replied, he then looked at them.
"You two have shown bravery by making it this far soldiers, and for that i reward you. i intercepted this device that you may find useful! Take it, i'm off to find my battalion" He explained before giving them a info bot and walking away.

"Two info bots in one planet, what are the odds?" Spike asked as he walked away.

They watched an ad for Drek explaining they're polluted planet, saying that they've abandoned everything there as the everything had become extremely toxic, he then said all the planets they're harvesting will be what they need to create a new planet as he showed it was almost done. they showed a scientist being held at gunpoint as he tried to find out a perfect orbit in order to live a proper life, he explained that homes are filling up and that they should hurry up if they want a stay there.

"Who would want to stay at a planet that was literally built from the remains of others?! Especially by a mad man forcing others to do work properly?!" Spike asked mad at what he saw.
"Now do you understand Ratchet, he won't rest until he has destroyed every planet in the galaxy!" Clank told him.

"He's right Ratchet, that could include my own home too, we have to find out where he is and stop him before its to late." Spike said worried. Ratchet sighed as he knew he was right, he made a promise and tended to keep it.
"Your right guys, but we'll need to get into this compound to get further, didn't that commando say that ventilation shaft could lead into the compound?" Ratchet asked looking at the thing next to them.

"Yes, but we will need a special piece of equipment to cross that." Clank explained.
"There may be something back on Drek's old planet that could help us, let's head to that other planet first and get those helmets first though." Spike suggested.
"Sure thing Spike, let's get going, we'll come back later." Ratchet told them and they all agreed to do so.

They hit a small ship that took them all the way back to the place they landed and got off.
"Wouldn't it be nice if those were there at the start all the time?" Spike asked.
"Oh i wish, let's just get to this other planet and find these items we need." Ratchet told them as they got into the ship and headed off again, Spike had just hoped things would turn around for Ratchet and Clank right now as they flew off again.

11: Planet Gaspar And Timeline Branching

The trio proceeded to fly ahead to this new planet in order to get the pilots helmets that was advertised in the video, they soon came upon the planet and entered the atmosphere, they landed on the ground and got out of the ship, they looked around and saw this place was boiling hot, there were lava pools around the place, as well as more stations and ships from Drek.

"Kind of reminds me of the dragon lands.." Spike said as they looked around.
"This kind of landscape familiar to you?" Ratchet asked.
"Yeah, my kind lives in barren places like this, we're lava and fire proof, so this shouldn't be much of a problem for me." Spike explained.

"Interesting to know." Clank said fascinated.
"Yeah, well we'll talk about it later, let's just find those helmets." Ratchet said as they went of again.

They went down a platform again and fought through more enemy's again, with Spike's weapons it just felt too easy. Ratchet saw a turret right next to them and got in it, he shot down the metal wall that was blocking they're path to the right all the while destroying any enemy's that came near it.

"Man, why would they leave weapons like these near places that are weak to them?" Spike asked looking at the turret.
"I don't know, bad design choices maybe for them." Ratchet suggested as he got out, they headed down the path they opened up to fight through more enemy's, Ratchet used his new rocket launcher he got to clear them out. Sure Spike had his rocket launcher, but that made things way, way to easy.

Since the planet mostly consisted of lava, Spike used that to his advantage and used it to his advantages, he swam under it and snuck up behind enemy's and slashed them in half with his swords, they were apparently lava proof as well.

"These things are lava proof too?" Spike asked as he saw his swords and armor had no damage at all.
"I really hope we meet the ones who designed these weapons, i really want to know who or what made these." Ratchet said looking at them.
"Me too, i am rather amazed in what we've made with these things" Clank said amazed as well.
"We'll find this out later, come on guys." Spike said as they went ahead again.

They took down more mines that tried to come to them and went to a turret nearby, they used it to blast down the metal door ahead and even a few enemy ships in the sky, these guys are causing problems for every planet, so Spike has no shame in dealing with them.

They entered the facility that was nearby and fought they're way through it, they had to keep on using the turrets to move forward and take down enemy's that kept on coming, they went through an area that had multiple tanks which enemy's hid from, Spike slashed through them all easily with his blades. Spike had gotten the hang of using them, so it wasn't much of a problem with the fact that they're 6 feet long.

They fought through one more gauntlet of enemy's using another turret that was in the room to take them out, they blasted down the next door and went out.

"Well, that was fun." Spike told them.
"Surprisingly it was" Ratchet agreed as they continued, they came upon the area from the ad they saw, the ship was still being prepared from the crash, Spike and Ratchet found the helmets and picked them up.

"Surprised we didn't have to pay for these like literally every other item we've had to get." Spike said looking at it.
"Now this is cool!" Ratchet said as he put it on, Spike put his one as well and they looked at eachother.
"Looking good!" Spike said with a smile.
"Same to you! Let's see if they're is anything else we can find here." Ratchet suggested, they agreed to do so and went off.

There wasn't much left for them after they found the helmets, they went around a volcano and found a gold bolt and a bunch of ammo on top, they had fun taking down more ships with turrets' And Spike took a little break and relaxed in the lava for a bit as it was like a hot spring to him.

They then took down more enemy ships by destroying chains holding them down which exploded for some reason, but they soon finished up any business they had with this planet and went back to the ship.
"Wow, kind of underwhelming this place was honestly." Spike said a little disappointed.
"Well at least we got the helmets." Ratchet said as he looked at them.
"Well, nothing left for us here, lets head to Drek's old planet now, there might be something for us to find." Spike suggested, Ratchet and Clank agreed to that and got in the ship, they headed back into space to Drek's old planet.

The map began to zoom out again until the universe looked like a screen again, we see the two figures from before watching it all happen.
"Looks like he's found our specialized launcher now' The male said
"It took me years to design that thing, i'm glad it's being put to good use." The female said.
"I'm glad our son is finding what we've left behind.. if only we could have found him sooner.." The male said regretfully.

"It's for the sake of the timeline, you know how important our son is to this universe, to all the timelines that have branched off so far." The female told him and he sighed.
"I know.. i just hope they can stop what's coming. how many timelines have branched so far?" The male asked, the female pulled up the results with her technology and looked at each one.

"We've got a few so far, one was where he met someone by the name of Sonic The Hedgehog, and traveled through the starfall islands to save his friends, he also found that worlds version of me" She explained as they saw the footage, Spike and Sonic and Knuckles were currently playing at a concert as they formed a band like they said they would.

"Well glad to see that one's turned out well right now, any others that are going of right now?" He asked, she then pulled up more.
"One is where he and someone named Ori is traveling through the land of Niwen to save they're little brother, Spike was corrupted by the light in this timeline, and became a hybrid of a spirit guardian and a dragon." She said sadly as they see him and Ori traveling through the forest, the father growled in anger.
"Why must our son go through such things? He's only one child. no matter who he's with, a child shouldn't go through such things.." The male said regretfully, the female sighed and looked at more branches.

"One is currently branching off right now, this one is where our son was found by a demon Prince named Stolas." She said as they see Stolas finding an egg in his garden and wondering who left it there, he takes the egg to his palace for examination.
"At least he'll have a caring father looking after him there, i've heard he's a great and powerful father" The male said looking at Stolas, he seemed to sense something and looked at the camera, they gasped and quickly backed off of it. They sighed in relief as that was close.
"If he can sense our powers, he really must be.." The female said surprised.

"I just hope whoever he's going with in future timelines, it will be enough to stop.. him." The male said afraid.
"With how many versions are already powerful, there's gonna be many more to come, let's pray our current Spike handles things well" She said hopefully.
"Me too, i hope so too.." He said as they cut back to they're current timeline.

We cut to hell where Stolas had just found Spike's egg, he sensed something with his power, he could feel he was being watched by someone.
"This should be interesting.." Stolas said as he looked at the egg.
"You may just make a fine brother for Octavia in the future, i hope things go well for us." Stolas said as he took the egg into the palace and closed the doors...

Sorry about my absence for the last few days, i just needed to rest from all the writing i've made i hope you can understand that, the next couple may be shorter to before we get to the 3rd act of the game, but i'll do my best to keep a balance okay? 12: The Talk And Apology

The trio proceeded to fly to they're next destination yet again, it was a shorter ride then usual as they flew, Spike just kept on thinking about what Ratchet and him have said to Clank, it wasn't his fault he was tricked, they all were, and Spike thinks he should talk with Ratchet and have things clear up with him, friendship is important after all, and they need to work together to save the galaxy.

They came upon the planet and entered it, they landed on the platform and Spike looked around, the place was a toxic mess, there was no signs of life anywhere, even the dragon lands had more life then this place.

"This planet is too toxic for you two, please wait here, i can go explore and hopefully find something." Clank said as he walked to the door.
"Be careful Clank, it looks really dangerous out there." Spike said a little worried
"Eh whatever, just be back as soon as you can." Ratchet said uninterested, Clank simply sighed and walked out and went to explore.

They sat there and waited for quite a bit, there was an awkward silence between them both, Spike then decided to speak up.
"Hey.. are you doing okay?" Spike asked.

"No i'm not.. im ticked off right now." Ratchet said upset
"I know your mad about Qwark, i am too" Spike said trying to calm him down, Ratchet sighed at that.

"I just don't get why we should have went to find him anyway, we could have done much better if we didn't waste time searching for him, but Clank insisted that we should, and now look what happened." Ratchet said mad.

'Look Ratchet, i'm mad at Qwark to for betraying us, he only wanted to be a hero for the fame and recognition, not for helping people, i hate people like that." Spike explained, Ratchet looked down sadly.

"Its just.. i looked up to him for so many years, people across the galaxy id, and now he's out there most likely stroking his ego even more" Ratchet said mad." And it made me think thats what a hero is, just selfish jerks who look out for themselves and not for others, it's why i'm done with this stuff." Ratchet explained. Spike decided to talk to him.

"Look Ratchet, i know what it's like, i saved my home from a evil person named Sombra once before, sure it was a close call, but i managed to save everyone and become a hero there." Spike explained, Ratchet looked confused at that.
"Really?" Ratchet asked.

"Yes, whenever i go back to the crystal empire, i'm admired for my heroism and what i did, i myself let me ego get the better of me, and i regret it for that, i learned an important lesson that day. Being a hero isn't for the fame, or the money, it's about looking out for others who could not, i kept that lesson, and i'm using it to help save these people across the galaxy." Spike explained.

" Sounds like you made a better hero then Qwark did, even if it was just that one time." Ratchet chuckled and Spike did as well.
"I did, but i think it's best we should focus on what's important, drek, if he gets away with this, so will Qwark and we can't let that happen." Spike told him.
"Why should i focus on that right now?" Ratchet asked and Spike sighed.

"Because drek most likely caused Qwark to do those actions, i bet you he would have at least tried to stop him if it wasn't for that stupid offer, i couldn't blame Clank, from what you told me about Qwark when i first asked, he sounded like a real hero." Spike explained and Ratchet scoffed.

"Yeah well look where smart guy that got us, betrayed and left to die by that monster." Ratchet said upset.
"Ratchet, can you really blame him? From the looks of him, he didn't even look to be a day old by the time we found him, he's literally a week old by now, do you think people can see through stuff like that?" Spike asked, Ratchet thought it over and realized Spike is right, Clank only was made a few days ago, so it makes sense.

"Your right, he could have had no choice, if he knew more stuff, he could have found a better solution to stop drek." Ratchet said regretfully
"Exactly, he may have delayed our time to find my home, but my home could be in danger if drek isn't stopped, if we follow clues about drek, it could lead us to Qwark as well." Spike told him.

"Your right, i've been a huge jerk, he's only a week old by this point, i think it's best we apologize when he gets back." Ratchet suggested.
"Me too, Twilight was in charge of helping friends make up with they're problems, so this may make her proud." Spike told him
"Heh, can't wait to meet her, let's both apologize when he returns." Ratchet suggested.
"Agreed, thank you Ratchet." Spike said grateful.
"No, thank you Spike" Ratchet said as they fist bumped eachother.

They waited a bit longer for a while until Clank came back inside, they both walked up to him.
"Hey Clank, there's something we want to talk about" Ratchet told him.
"And what would that be?" Clank asked, they both looked eachother and looked back sadly.

"look clank, i'm sorry i've been a jerk, i'm just upset about what Qwark did, i shouldn't be taking it out on you, i'm just upset of the fact that during our time searching for Qwark, we could have spent time trying to find Spike's home, i made a promise to him and i want to keep it, but the only way we can do that is by stopping drek." Ratchet said sadly, Clank had a look of surprise on his sudden attitude change, Spike looked sad as well.

"We just wanted to find my home, but we didn't consider focusing on what was really important, we shouldn't have lashed out at you, you were less then an hour old by the time we met you, we're really sorry Clank." Spike apologized, Clank thought about what they said, he felt bad seeing them like this too, he then looked at him.

"I am sorry too Spike and Ratchet, i was to focused on Qwark, i didn't think of what was important to you." Clank apologized as well.
"So, are we good?" Ratchet asked.
"Yes, we are." Clank said as they high fived eachother and laughed.
"Glad to know it, thanks." Ratchet said gratefully.

"So, you find anything while you were out there?" Spike asked.
"I did find these." Clank said as he brought out two pairs of metal boots, they picked them up but Clank latched to them.
"You okay?" Ratchet asked.
"These are magnetized, i appear to be stuck to them" Clank explained.
"oh." Ratchet and Spike both said as they let go and he fell on the floor and Spike helped him up.

"Anything else?" Spike asked and Clank nodded
"I found an info bot, it's best we all see." Clank said as he pulled out one, they watched what looks like an ad for a tropical resort at a planet called Pokitaru, it looked like a great place to relax at, but it appears dreks ships have been dumping toxic waste into the waters and if someone stops them they'll get 2 02 masks so they can handle toxic areas, the video then ended as Spike looked even angrier.

"He's destroying a tropical resort now?!" Spike asked mad.
"That's it, we're heading to this place right now, we can't let a place like that be destroyed!" Ratchet said mad as well.
"I agree, let's head there now!" Clank said serious, they all got back in they're seats and activated the ship, they flew off to Pokitaru to save the planet from a toxic waste dump.

Hey guys hope you liked this one! I wanted to have Ratchet make up with Clank much sooner then usual, i think we all agree that this half of the game where Ratchet was a jerk was the most unpleasant thing about it, so i hope you don't mind i changed things up a bit. Hope you all liked it again and see you next time!

13: Pokitaru

After the three talked things out and made up, they proceeded to fly to Pokitaru in order to stop Drek from dumping toxic waste into the waters ruining it, they once again landed out and got out, Spike looked around and saw that there were ships all over the sky and dumping waste.

"This is sick, this place looks like a perfect place to relax, Drek will not get away with this!" Spike said with anger.
"Let's find the owner and see how we can help out, let's go!" Ratchet said as they got going, luckily the owner was just down the platform next to they're ship.

"Hey! You three are the first friendly faces i've seen in weeks! You are friendly aren't you?" He asked.
"Don't worry we are, we're actually here to help take care of those ships ruining the resort." Spike explained.
"Yep, we saw what was happening, we weren't gonna let it stand by and be ruined." Ratchet told him.

"Well friends, have i got a deal for you two, since the blarg has been dumping they're toxic waste into our waters, the wildlife has uh.." He tried to explained.
"Become reminisce mutants?" Clank asked.
"Yes, you can say that." He agreed.

"All me guests have either left, or become lunch, so i'm closing the place down." He told them.
"Hold on sir, we're here to put a stop to this, so we won't allow it to." Spike explained.
"Really, well then if thats the case, i happen to have 2 o2 masks" He said pulling them out.
"How much?" Ratchet asked but he pulled them away.

"It's not for sale, i said i had a deal and indeed i do." He told them.
"What do we need to do?" Spike asked.
"You three get rid of the blarg ships, and they're yours, just escort me to the other side of the resort, and you can pilot our jet fighters." He explained.
"Sounds simple enough, what do you say guys?" Spike asked, Ratchet thought of something clever.

" Give us a free membership to come here for as long as we want, and we'll do it." Ratchet told him, Spike was wanting to back off of it but this place did look really pleasant if they stopped them.
"Deal, i'll give you them if we take care of all of these guys." He agreed.
"Great, let's move!" Spike said as he and Ratchet and Clank escorted the guy back to the resort.

The three proceeded to fight they're way through more monsters, the wildlife has mutated and were now monsters, Spike looked furious as he saw these monsters were because of drek, he would not allow them to keep harming the wildlife like this. He slashed through them with his swords at every angle while ratchet was using the suck cannon to take care of multiple at once.

They had to fight on a raft and take down more monsters as they landed on it.
" How many of these things are there?!" Spike asked as he slashed them up.
"Don't know, but we aren't letting these things past us!" Ratchet said as he shot down another one.

The two finally were able to make they're way past all the monsters and were able to safely deliver the guy back to the resort.
"I'm never asking how bad can it be again." Spike said annoyed as he walked to the platform.
"Yeah, good idea" Ratchet said a little annoyed too as they walked up to the place.

After pressing a button on the ground, they opened up a bridge and took down a few more monsters, they sighed in relief as they were done with that. they came upon a large button of sorts that had a area closed off.

"Were here, now where's those fighters?" Ratchet asked.
"Yeah, where are they?" Spike asked curious as well.

" Right there in that locked garage" He said as he pointed at a closed door.
"One tour scratches the jet and wham, lawsuit." He explained.

"So it's in there.. locked behind that thing?" Spike asked a little upset.
"That lock is unlike anything i have ever seen." Clank said as they looked at it.

" Very good observation shiny, i can't open it either! I Don't trust the tourists, and the board of directors don't trust me!" He said chuckling.
"So.. wait.. you mean we can't get past this?! After all that fighting?!" Spike asked mad.
"so we have a little problem.." He said nervous.

"We have a problem? We're here to take down those ships, and because of this stupid design choice we can't!" Ratchet said upset.
"Who is designing these things?!" Spike asked mad at this stupid design.

" I can see you really want to fly our jets, so i'll tell you what, go talk to bob in his robo shack, he knows about these locks." He said pointing at the building nearby as the doors opened.
"Fine.." Spike and Ratchet both said annoyed as they walked into the place, they then noticed another scientist that looks like Al

"Well well, what do we got here?" He asked as he picked up Clank and looked at Spike's robotic wings and turned him around looking at them.
"Hey watch it!" Clank said upset.

"I recognize those works, you've been to see Al ain't you? Bob asked.
"You know Al?" spike asked curious
"Yeah, he installed the Heli pack and robo wings for my friends." Ratchet explained.

" I can see that, i taught that engineered brother of mine everything he knows!" Bob told them.
"So that's why you look a little like him." Spike said as he looked at him.

"Look if you two want real hardware, i can fix you two up with thruster packs!" Bob offered.
"Thruster packs, would that help us get past that lock?" Spike asked.

'Yes sir, what do you say?" Bob asked.
"Sure thing, let's do it." Spike said as he payed him a good amount of bolts they've been stockpiling up.

"We've got it." Clank said as he and Spike went onto the desk and they let him do his work, after a few screws and drill sounds, we see Spike and Ratchet now with they're wings looking like that from a jet.
"Awesome!" Spike said looking at them, he tried them out and he was able to hover in the air without trouble.
"It's like i'm actually flying with real wings!" Spike laughed as he landed down.
"Thank you Bob." Clank thanked.

"Sure thing pals." Bob told them, he then noticed Spike's weapons and armor.
"Say, this tech of yours looks familiar." Bob said looking at them, and that caught they're interest.
"have you found anything that looks similar to this? We can take them off your hands." Spike offered.
"Why yes i have, hold on a minute." Bob said as he took out a box of sorts and dug through it.

After a few moments he pulled something out.
"Aha! Here you are, i found this when i went scuba diving some time ago, tried everything i knew to try to activate it, hope it works for you." Bob said as he handed Spike another familiar looking metal.
"That's like the 4th one so far.." Spike said looking at it, the device suddenly glowed again and the thing materialized into something.

They all saw it became a specialized magnet of sorts, it had gold outlining with green waves of light around it, Spike decided to press it down and the thing had such a huge magnetic force, it pulled Clank and most of the stuff in the workshop to it!
"Whoa!!" Spike said as he deactivated it and dropped Clank down.
"Well that was something.." Ratchet said in awe, Spike then put it away for later.

"Sorry about that." Spike apologized.
"Don't worry about it, i'm just glad i finally know what it does now, you have a fine day sirs!" Bob told them.
"Thank you bob!" Spike said as they leaved.

"That is the 4th one we've come across so far, who is leaving these things?" Clank asked curious.
"I don't know, but this one i feel really connected with.." Spike said looking at the thing.
"Well i think it's best we focus on the ships for now, let's go." Ratchet said walking to the garage again, they both agreed to talk about it later and they used they're new upgrades to open the lock.

"Finally!." Spike said relieved as they saw two fighter jets.
"Let's get this over with." Ratchet said as he put the helmet on and Spike put his on and they got inside.

They both were able to get the handle of things really quickly, they took off into the skies and proceeded to take down the ships, Spike took down the ships dumping the waste into the water, while Ratchet took down ships trying to attack them, they picked up more and more ammo as they continued.
"Woo! This is awesome!" Spike said as he shot down another one.
"You've really come into your own with these things!" Ratchet said as he shot down the last one.

"That's all of them, let's get those masks now." Spike said as he proceeded to fly back to the garage with Ratchet following behind, they both landed down and came up to the owner.
"Well i guess that should do it, here you go you two!" He said and threw them the masks and they caught it.
"It's about time!" Ratchet said as he looked at it.
"Finally." Spike said as he put it away, they both waved goodbye and went to another teleported back to they're ship.

They once again entered they're ship and flew off again, Spike looked at the tech again curiously.
"Are you wondering about who left these for you Spike?" Clank asked.
"Yeah, it's really strange on how familiar they are to me, but how? I never have seen these kinds of things before." Spike asked curiously.
"Don't worry Spike, we'll find out soon, once drek is done with, we're gonna find this out" Ratchet assured him, Spike sighed as he put it away.
"Thanks, let's just hope Dreks planet has something important for us back there." Spike said as they flew back to the blargs old planet again to find something interesting

I know i kind of skipped over the part where they go through that area to get to the guy that has a device that gives you something for discounts, but i feel like that isn't to important for plot focused things so i hope you don't mind! 14: Planet Orxon

The three headed back to Orxon in they're ship, they had oxygen masks and metal boots now, so they can hopefully get through it all without more trouble, they came upon the planet once again and landed on the ground.
They put they're masks on and got out.

'This place is horrible.." Spike said looking around sadly.
"We can't let Drek get away with this, i have a feeling this was all intentional." Ratchet said upset.
"Now that we're here, let's see if there's anything we can find." Clank suggested, they all agreed and headed off.

This place was in worse condition then any place Spike saw back home, the entire place was green because of the toxic air, there were factories and plants that shot the chemicals into the air, the creatures there were nothing more then mutant monsters at this point.

"How could he be allowed to get away with this, this is worse then any place i've ever seen." Spike said as he slashed down a mutant.
"I don't know, i hardly believe anyone would want to work in this environment." Ratchet said shocked as well, they hovered down to another area and took down a few monsters again, they took down a laser gate and kept going.
"It's just, why would people trust to live with Drek on his new planet when they know he took parts of they're own home away?" Spike asked frustrated.
"I wouldn't live on a planet made by him even if it was the last one in the galaxy." Ratchet said upset as well.
"I suppose it's because of the conditions of what happened after they're residents own homes were destroyed, so they may have had no choice." Clank said sadly.

"What makes me more confused is, how was he even able to build a entire planet? That's beyond any magic capable in equestria." Spike asked.
" That is beyond even my own understanding." Clank said confused as well.
"Well however he did it, it's not for something odd that's all i can see." Ratchet said looking at the place in disgust.
"That new world may just end up as polluted as this one, we can't let that happen." Spike said determined.
"Well what are we waiting for? Let's see if we can find anything in this dump." Ratchet suggested, they both agreed and kept moving along.

They kept on moving through the place, they kept having to fight through the mutated monsters in order to survive, they then had to use they're magnet boots to walk on a vent shaft that helped them reach the other side of the place, they had to dodge fumes of fire that were coming out from them, while Ratchet had to carefully avoid them, Spike just walked through them as they didn't hurt at all.

"You know Spike, i'm pretty jealous that you can just walk through fire and lava like its nothing." Ratchet told him.
"Sorry pal, wish i had something to help you with that, it feels like we're going at 5 miles an hour on these vent shafts." Spike said as he could barely move properly.
"The metallic force is most likely because of it, we could make adjustments so it's like how we walk normally in the future." Clank suggested.
"I like that idea, let's just hurry up and get out of here as soon as we can." Ratchet said as they got back on the ground.
"Agreed, this place gives me the creeps." Spike said as he looked around disgusted.

They used the Taunter to lure more enemy's into the laser walls to deal with them easily, they found an info bot but it kept floating away.
"Hey, get back here!" Spike said as it went across some swingshot platforms, they used them in order to follow it, it kept on moving much to they're annoyance, they had to fight through more monsters that tried to attack them, it kept moving more and more and it was getting annoying.

They had to take down another laser wall in order to keep moving and fight through even more monsters as well, they went around another corner and found it inside a building but it floated up to another level of it, Spike then got an idea.
"Hold on a minute." Spike said as he pulled out his magnet device from before, he found away for it to pull himself to objects.
"Hang on guys." Spike said as he grabbed Ratchet and pointed the device at the top, he activated it and the device pulled them to the top and they landed on the next level, and luckily there was no where for the info bot to go this time.
"Thank Celestia." Spike said gratefully.
"Great job with that Spike, i'm proud of you." Ratchet said punching his shoulder playfully and Spike chuckled.
"Thanks, now let's see what this thing has." Spike said as they looked at it, it then opened a screen and they watched another video.

"Hello again everyone! Supreme executive chairmen Drek here, to fill you in on our progress!" Drek said as he was on an ice planet of sorts.
" We have now found a perfect orbit for our planet, one which would allow for the perfect temperature! All year around!" Drek said as he walked forward.
" However, there is a planet occupying that orbit and sadly, it must be destroyed.." He said evilly.

"And that's why we've created this!" Drek said as the camera pans out to a huge bomb above him.
"The Planet buster maximus! A device capable of blowing an entire planet into sub atomic particles! we're quite proud of it! here's how it works." Drek began to explain.
"We attach the planet buster to this ship, fly it into orbit around the planet, and let it go! Kaboom! Quite ingenious really!" Drek said laughing, Spike growled with anger as he hated where this was going.

"Once our trained professionals put the finishing touches on our new planet, everything will be complete thank you! Goodbye!" Drek said waving his fingers as the video ended.
Spike growled with pure anger as he wanted to destroy this device right now.

"Dreks Blowing up a whole planet?! We cannot let that happen!!" Ratchet said with anger.
"We can't let that Bomb leave that planet, we have to head to it and stop it from leaving!" Spike told them.
"Yes, we must hurry to the coordinates, there are lives at risk." Clank said worried.
"Agreed, let's go now!" Spike said as he started to run back to the ship, Ratchet knew Spike wasn't going to let Drek get away so they had to hurry as quickly as they could.

They quickly checked around the area for anything more that they could find, all they did find was a vending machine that somehow gave them drinks that made them feel tougher, this apparently had special Nanotech that made ones body much tougher, so they were able to get a few cans and they became much tougher.
"Glad we found this thing, i feel way stronger now." Ratchet said as he crushed the can on his head.
"i'm glad too, this will definitely help out, let's get back to the ship now." Spike told them.
"You got it, let's go." Ratchet said as they headed back.

They headed back to they're ship once again and headed off to the next planet in a hurry, Spike hated Drek, he was going to destroy an entire planet, he would not let that happen, Spike had a bad feeling that this place he was trying to destroy was important...

15: Planet Hoven

The three proceeded to hurry up to the next planet called Hoven, it apparently was an ice planet that has had multiple bases be built, they had to stop the bomb before it leaves orbit. Spike kept getting more worried, he could feel there was something wrong, it may be the planet he's trying to destroy is important, he won't find out until they stop this.
The three entered the planet and landed on a pad and got out, they saw the bomb attached to the ship.

"That must be the ship that will transport the bomb!" Clank said as they looked at it.
"Ya think? great work detective" Ratchet said sarcastically .
"We have to stop it, come on guys!" Spike said as he quickly started to run off, Ratchet knew Spike was worried about this thing, he wasn't going to let it go off either, he proceeded to run with him to stop it.

The three went through the area, it was an icy planet that was freezing cold, but Spike's armor didn't let it harm him even though his kind is cold blooded, more enemy's tried to stop them but Spike was NOT having any of this, he quite literally tore them apart with his claws, and slashed them up, and used the RYNO to destroy anything else.

"Geez Spike, you alright?" Ratchet asked worried as he was panting.
"I will be once that things gone, sorry. " Spike said as he put it away.

"It's alright Spike, the stakes are really high right now, i understand the pressure." Clank told him.
"Let's just hurry up." Ratchet said as they kept moving along, this was no time to rest, there was a whole planet in danger right now and it was do or die for Spike and Ratchet.

They had to jump up some walls in order to get to higher places, they then went through a small cave to cross a bridge that had them wall jump into an even higher cave, they went through it and saw they were getting closer.
"The things just on the other side!" Spike said as he pointed at the platforms ahead.
"We're getting close come on!" Ratchet said as he jumped across them, Spike used his robotic wings and flew over them and helped ratchet across as well, they had to fight through another building until they came upon the ship.

"We are too late! The ship is leaving!" Clank said as it was about to take off.
"No!! I won't let that happen!!" Spike said angry, Ratchet then noticed a turret.
"Hang on! There's an old defense turret over there!" Ratchet said pointing at them.

"Hey are you two thinking what i'm thinking?" Ratchet asked them.
"Great idea! I'll use my launcher to help take it down as well!" Spike said as he pulled his rocket launcher out.
"We must hurry!" Clank said as he and Ratchet got into it while Spike was taking aim.
"Hold on guys! It's do or die now!" Ratchet said as he was taking aim.

Ratchet continued to repeatedly fire at the ship before it could take of, Spike was charging it up as he was preparing for a powerful shot, Ratchet shot down any helicopters that could come its way.
"How much longer Spike?!" Ratchet asked worried as he kept firing.
"A few more... seconds!" Spike said as the thing was about to finish, he was making sure he got a clear lock on, once the device beeped it was ready.
"Fire!!" Spike said as he shot the rocket, the rocket was so fast it hit the ship directly in the center, it created a gigantic explosion that destroyed not just the bomb but the ship, when they opened they're eyes they saw it was gone.

"We did it.." Spike said amazed and relieved.
"We did it!! Yeah!!" Ratchet shouted as he gave Spike a high five.
"We did it!!!" Spike shouted in victory.
"I am so relieved.." Clank said extremely grateful.

"Told you we could do it." Ratchet told him.
"Take that drek, when i find you..' Spike said crushing his hands together.
"You and me both pal." Ratchet said patting him on the shoulder.
"Guys, an info bot!" Clank said as an info bot came from under the turret, it then opened a screen and showed them something.

"Men, you are about to embark on a very dangerous mission!" Drek said as he was in his ship.
" We will be launching a surprise attack from our new moon base, against an unarmed planet." Drek said as they see footage of a base surrounded by moons and a nearby sun.
"Actually that doesn't sound too dangerous.." Drek corrected himself, he then coughed.

"Never the less, you orders are simple, destroy anything that moves! steal the power generators from Border city, then destroy anything that doesn't move!" Drek said as we see footage of the planets environments, everything drek said kept getting Spike more and more angry, he swear he was gonna make him regret ever wanting to make this stupid planet.

"Oh and don't forget, have fun!" Drek said as the video ended, Spike kept getting more angry, this was fun to these guys?!
" We have to get to the moon base to stop Drek1" Clank said worried.
"He's right, if drek is there Qwark is with him too, we need to hurry, i feel they won't be in the same place for long." Spike told him with anger.
"Your right, he's most likely gonna be somewhere else if we don't hurry, come on guys!" Ratchet said as they jumped off the platform and landed on the ground thanks to they're hover packs, Spike was furious with drek, he never felt more anger for someone then anyone in Equestria, everything Drek said in those videos about it being fun, he was killing innocent lives and destroying multiple planets, Spike wears to Celestia that he won't let Drek win this.

Spike and Ratchet decided to explore a little more of the planet, even though they still had to worry about Drek, they didn't have to worry about the bomb anymore, so it should be a bit easier to move around now. They made they're way through a cave by raising the water levels higher and higher to get to a certain point, they came across a bridge and saw a building just across from it, they jumped over the long ledge and went inside and found a woman at a desk.

"Hey ma'am is everything okay?" Spike asked as she noticed them, Spike could tell it was a women somehow, she then lowered the mask she had on.
"Oh my goodness!" She said as she picked Spike and Clank up, she sounded like Applejack a little to Spike.

"Aren't you two just a couple little angels!" She said as they chuckled nervously.
"Yeah, took them in myself, they're really good friends." Ratchet told her.
"Yeah, really he's great for taking me in." Spike said with a smile.
"Well aren't you three just a good trio then!" She told them and they smiled.

" I think i got something special for you two, how would you like a hydro pack upgrade?" She offered.
"Hydro pack ma'am?" Spike asked.
"That would be really helpful for swimming underwater." Clank told them, Ratchet thought it over and decided if it could help he'll pay for it.
"Sounds good, i think they'll look great with it." Ratchet told her as he gave her the amount of money.
"such a gentlemen!" She said as she started working on them, Spike's wings were able to easily adapt to her work, they were really handy thanks to Al's work, soon she finished and they looked at them.

"There you go sweeties! You two look so handsome!" She told them as they chuckled again.
"Thank you miss, your craftsmanship is excellent!" Clank told her.
"It's really amazing ma'am, thank you so much." spike said gratefully.
"Thank you so much for this ma'am, this will really help us. "Ratchet said thankful.

"You come back and see me any old time!" She told them while winking, Spike chuckled again as they left.
"Guess being cute has its benefits." Spike said a little embarrassed.
" I suppose it does." Clank said agreeing.
"I'm glad we found her, this will really help, let's head back to the ship now." Ratchet told them, they all agreed and decided to head back, it was a bit of a backtrack but they were able to make it back and take off again.

Spike couldn't help but be mad with drek, he was destroying multiple planets for selfish reasons, if Celestia and Luna found out.. they would definitely not like Drek one bit, nor would any Equestrian, Spike just hoped they could stop drek as soon as possible.

Hey guys hope you liked this one once again! I know things might be going a little to fast, but taking the stakes the story is right now, it makes a little sense, again there wasn't much to this game in terms of character interactions outside of the main cutscenes so i know it may feel like they bonded too fast. Don't worry though, in the future story's i'll try better with the interactions and make the bond feel like it was properly earned and formed. 16: Moon Base, Oltanis Orbit

We cut to Drek's ship while he is speaking with Qwark.

"It is time to begin your new assignment" Drek told him while they were walking to a small ship.
"Ah, a photo up by your shiny new shuttle! terrific idea!" Qwark told him and Drek groaned.
"Oh, you really are an idiot.." Drek said slapping his face in annoyance.
"What?" Qwark asked.

"You are to take that shuttle to the moon base, and ambush those three miscreants when they arrive!" Drek told him.
"Oh, yes heh heh, who are they again?" Qwark asked.
" THOSE GUYS!" Drek shouted pointing at a wanted sign of Ratchet Spike and Clank.
"Oh, of course! there is just one problem.." Qwark told him.
" Your to washed up for grounded combat? True, that is why i'm landing you my star fighter!" Drek told him.
"You can still fly can you?" Drek asked and Qwark shoot his head yes.

"It's settled then! you'll acquire the starfighter once you get to the base, screw this up, and the endorsement deal is off!" Drek told him and Qwark gasped.
"But that would ruin me! You wouldn't!" Qwark told him trying to sound threatening and Drek chuckled.
"Try me." Drek replied, Qwark then walked into the shuttle, he barely fit but somehow was able to take off in it and head to the base, Drek looked at the poster again, specifically at Spike.
"Where did you get those devices you punk? im sure that new planet we discovered will be important to you.." Drek said chuckling evilly.

the three of them flew through space again heading to the moon base, it took a bit but they eventually came upon the ship and landed on it, Spike looked around in amazement.
"Wow, Twilight's never gonna believe this!" Spike said while looking at the thing.
"She might once she meets us, let's find Qwark or Drek and put a stop to them." Ratchet suggested.
"I do not see Drek's ship we must have missed him." Clank told them and they groaned.
"Come on, we won't be able to catch up with them if we don't have something fast" Spike said annoyed.

" Spike's right, who knows where Qwark is now? If were gonna catch those two, we need a faster ship." Ratchet told them.
"There might be something here for us we could use." Spike suggested.
"This station could supply us with one." Clank told them.
"Well we're here, lets go check it out!" Ratchet told them.
"Sounds like fun, come on guys!" Spike said as they started moving.

The three started off by hovering down to a small open area, the three had to fight some creatures in armored suits, they then had to destroy a couple towers that provided power to some electric gates that halted their progress. Spike was thinking about all he went through while they kept on moving through the base at multiple parts, from him meeting Ratchet and Clank, to him traveling around different worlds.

But the biggest question Spike had on his mind was.. why were these weapons here for him? He felt a familiar connection with them, like they were made for him specifically. If there is no other technology piece like the ones Spike has.. then there must be something or someone who left these for him, the thing he wonders the most is.. Who? Spike thought about it all while they were fighting through it.

They fought through more and more enemy's while taking down guys in turrets. They had to walk on a metal surface again to get to the other side of some hallways, they then had to fight in a large open are surrounded by enemy's, they took down all the things spawning them in and soon took them all down, Ratchet then looked at Spike.

"Hey Spike, you okay?" Ratchet asked.
"You have not spoken for some time." Clank said concerned and Spike sighed.
"Sorry guys, i just have a lot thinking about right now.." Spike told them.

"What is it?" Ratchet asked concerned.
"These devices we've found, i feel so.. connected with them, i feel something incredibly familiar whenever i use them.." Spike said as he pulled out his blades and looked at them.
"Well it is unknown who made these things." Clank told him.

"Yeah, if it's not on any of the planets we've gone to, there might be something special about them.." Ratchet said while he looked at the devices.
"You know Ratchet, i never knew my birth parents, i was hatched by Twilight Sparkle, she raised my like she was my real mother, but i always wondered.. who were my parents?" Spike asked curiously, Clank thought about it for a minute and thought of something.
"What if.. your parents are connected to these devices in a way?" Clank asked and Ratchet scoffed.

"Don't be ridiculous Clank, Spike said his planet doesn't have anything remotely close to the tech the planets we've gone to have, so how could that be?" Ratchet asked
"Think about it Ratchet, if Spike or his guardians were never able to find out why Spike was found without his parents, do you think something could have caused them to disappear?" Clank asked and Spike looked interested.
"Well it could be.. we never got a definitive answer for why i was alone when i was found, maybe they could have made these things.." Spike suggested looking at them.
"Well, some people can be interesting in ways we never expect." Ratchet told them.

"That can't be more true... what if my parents had a reason to have me alone? Not just to meet you guys, but maybe for something else.." Spike said a little worried.
"i don't know buddy, but we won't find out by just standing here." Ratchet told him.
"He's right, the sooner we find a ship, the faster we can find out." Clank told him and Spike looked at them.
"Your right guys, we won't be finding anything out by just standing here, let's go." Spike said as he and the others continued on, Spike kept thinking about it all, who made these? Why was he alone? And who are his parents?

The three went up one more elevator and soon went up a few stairs, they soon came upon a takeoff point.

"Hello, captain Ratchet and Spike!" Qwarks voice is heard and they see him at the end of the ledge.
"RAGHH!" Ratchet screamed trying to catch him but Qwark jumped off it. Qwark was suddenly rising and he was on a huge ship that surprised all of them while he was laughing and Spike growled.
"Do you really think this is the best option?! getting thousands of innocent lives killed?! Lives who you most likely saved in the past?!" Spike asked angry and Qwark chuckled.
"Spike my boy.. you don't understand what the meaning of hero is." Qwark told him.

"I do actually, i saved my home once before, but if there's one thing that sets me apart from you, i earned that win, i learned not to let fame go to my head and become an Egotistical loser like you! You know what you are Qwark? A wash up, you should have stopped when you could!" Spike said with anger.
"He's right, you could never live up to be a hero like Spike, and when Drek is done with, you won't live up to me!" Ratchet told them and Qwark growled.
"We'll see about that you punks! come and get me hero's!" Qwark said while he was taking off in the ship.

"We can't let him get away!" Spike said with anger, Clank then noticed another ship.
"Perhaps we can obtain the ship in there!" Clank said and they pointed at it.
"Great idea! Let's go!" Ratchet said while they rushed to the ship.

The ship was a one seater so Ratchet had to take the seat, Spike used his magnet boots to latch onto the ship as they flew through the station, Spike looked at the thing with anger as Ratchet started shooting at it.
"Here's a little something from me to you!" Qwark said while he shot flares at them, Spike used his swords and slashed through them, Spike pulled out his launcher and took aim.
"Keep it steady Ratchet!" Spike said while locking on.
"Got it!" Ratchet said while he was flying.

Spike took a few seconds but was able to home in on the right side of it and fired, the blast may not have been strong enough to take it down, but it did do massive damage.
"My wing! do you know how much this is costing me?!" Qwark asked furious.
"Other then this stupid job, i don't know, and do not care." Spike said with anger. Ratchet continued to fire at him as the ship was being pulled apart piece by piece. Qwark tried to pull them into a tractor beam but Ratchet fired missiles at him while Spike took down the shots Qwark fired at them.

Soon they eventually cut down the ship until Qwark could barely keep it up.
"Hey Ratchet and Spike, buddy old pals! Why don't we just call it a day? "Qwark asked nervous and Spike groaned and jumped onto the ship Qwark was piloting.
"Sorry Qwark, but you should have retired or quit this while you had the chance, how the might have fallen.." Spike said sadly as he pulled out his blades one more time and delivered one final strike, the ship started to head down and Spike jumped back onto Ratchets as they watched him fall down to the planet below.
" Mayday, mayday! Well Ratchet and Spike i'd say you've passed the test! ahh!!" Qwark screamed as the ship came down crashing to the planet.

Spike honestly felt bad for having to do that, Qwark was once a hero in the eyes of many, and now they had to bring him down, if he's alive, he probably won't have much left after this.
"So sad to see a hero that was once Qwark fall so low.." Spike said sadly as they landed back onto the platform and Ratchet and Spike got down.

"Yes! Qwark is history!" Ratchet said feeling great that they won.
"Yeah, really sad that he fell so low though, he could have had the chance to go out as a hero still..." Spike said sadly.
"I must admit it is rather sad.. i just hope that some good will come of this though.." Clank said agreeing. They then looked at eachother again while walking.

"I must say, you are improving as a pilot Ratchet, and i can see Spike learning great things from you." Clank told him.
"Thanks, i try, can't we just relax and enjoy a little.. success.. " Ratchet said while they came upon a highly advanced ship.
"Awesome.." Spike said looking at it.

"Hey, if we wanna catch Drek, i bet you this baby will do it!" Ratchet told them as an info bot came out of it.
There was a news report from the city on the planet showing that it is torn apart in an attack, it is conformed that Drek is destroying the galaxy for his selfish needs and all hope seems lost for them and the video ended.
"Well at least that women got out of that situation in Blackwater City alright." Spike told them and Ratchet looked sad.

"Yes i know, it is way worse then i expected." Clank said sadly.
"You were right Clank, this is a lot bigger then the three of us, i was selfish focusing on getting Spike home after we took care of Qwark. but now.." Ratchet said while Spike put a hand on his shoulder.
"If Drek is destroying these planet's, my home may be next, we can't let it happen." Spike told him.
"He's right Ratchet, if we wanna get Spike home, we have to stop Drek." Clank told him and Ratchet looked determined.

"Your right guys, and we got this new ship! Let's go get him!" Ratchet told them and Spike smiled from under the mask they were wearing.
"Sounds great! I call dibs to keep it when this is over though, gotta have something to see you guys." Spike told them looking at the ship and Ratchet laughed.
"Sounds fine with me buddy. Let's go!" Ratchet told them.
"Now you two are talking!" Clank said as they were ready to go.

They got in the new ship of theirs and headed down to the planet, it was way way faster then the last one they used, Spike was determined to stop Drek, and once that happens, he'll find his home soon, he swears it. and once that is done.. Spike will plan on finding out who made these weapons with Ratchet, there's always a answer for something, and Spike will find his.

Hey guys hope you liked this one! Sorry for my absence yesterday i had some important stuff to take care of and was to distracted, but i'm back now and i'll focus on this now, once i'm done with this i'll get back into my Ori story, just wanna finish this one first, i'll be making sequel stories covering the other games, i might do the future saga in a full story maybe. But i just want you all to know i have a lot more planned, and this story will help tie into them, hope you look forward to them!

17: Planet Oltanis And Some Shocking News

The three headed down to the planet to find anything that could be useful, the planet from the atmosphere looked dark and grey, when they landed they were greeted with a destroyed city that was being hit with a thunderstorm right now.

As soon as they got out though, a lightning bolt suddenly came to them and hit Clank and he fell to the ground.
"Clank!" Spike shouted with worry as they came to check on him.
"Clank? Clank? Come on wake up!" Ratchet said with worry and Clank opened his eyes.
"Captain Qwark?" Clank asked and they groaned at that.

"No buddy, it's us Spike and Ratchet." Spike said as they helped him up.
"What happened?" Clank asked confused.
"You got toasted by lightning, this place is having one heck of a storm." Ratchet explained while they looked around.
"It's most likely because of the Blargs and the fact that they destroyed anything important to contain such things." Spike suggested.
"Spike's right, you won't be safe out there, we'll be right back." Ratchet said as he put Clank into the ship.
"Don't worry Clank, leave it to us!" Spike said as the hatch closed and the two started to walk off.

"So it's just us for this one huh?" Spike asked.
"Yep, let's try to find anything that could help us." Ratchet suggested as they moved on.

They went down a platform and went through a destroyed city, this place looked like it would've been nice to be at if it wasn't destroyed so mercilessly, Spike felt his anger bottle up inside him, Drek was doing this for his selfish reasons and not for the people, Spike swears when he finds him he will make him regret all he's done.

The two hit up a taxi car and floated over to another area, the two had to carefully avoid search lights while making they're way through, the wind was really strong and it made things a little difficult, they swingshot their way up to the next platform and continued moving, they had to avoid more search lights and make their way to a floating platform and use their swingshot to make they're way around more.

"man, i feel it would be easier if Clank was here." Spike said as they continued.
"Tell me about it, this storm would mess him up if he did though, let's just get through this as quickly as possible." Ratchet told him.
"Agreed." Spike replied as they moved on more.

They made they're way through another room of search lights and had to destroy a turret that was shooting bullets at them, they then had to use their swingshot again to make they're way around more, the two then took care of more enemy's and landed on a platform and found a weapon of sorts.
"What's this?" Spike asked looking at it. Ratchet recognized it.

"Oh i've seen this on tv before! This is the Morph-o ray! it's said to turn most small foes into small chickens leaving them defenseless." Ratchet explained and Spike looked confused.
"How do they make things like these?" Spike asked.
"I don't know, but we'd best not leave it around for someone else to find" Ratchet said as he put it away.
"Let's just see if there's anything else to find." Spike suggested, Ratchet agreed to that and they headed off again.

They took a grind rail back to the ship and this time they went forward into the ruined city, they had to fight they're way through more enemy's again, Spike used the RYNO to take care of most of them, Ratchet used the new weapon and turned a lot of robots into chickens, Spike was just dumbfounded on how people can come up with these things as they continued.

They took down some ships that threw bombs at them, and they fought through robots that came out of hatches on the ground, Spike could hardly believe this was real to him still, he never pictured himself fighting alien robots and going to different planets to save the galaxy from a corrupt chairmen, Spike wonders what his life would be in other worlds...

Next they got on a grind rail and had to make they're way through some obstacles, Spike was just a few feet behind Ratchet as they went through, robots appeared from behind and attempted to take them down.
"These guys just don't give up do they?" spike asked annoyed.
"Nope, let's just get to the end of this thing!" Ratchet said as they continued.

Spike and Ratchet had to lure some of the robots into electric gates which destroyed some of them, Spike used his blades to slice down any mines that were thrown at them, they hoped from rail to rail to avoid falling into an abyss, soon though they were able to reach the end and jumped off the rails and landed on the ground.

"That was sweet!" Ratchet said as they fist bumped eachother.
"I'll admit, that was pretty fun, hope we can do it without killer robots next time." Spike said chuckling a little.
"Yeah me too." Ratchet agreed as they walked forward, they soon came upon a store owner who looked like he was crazy.

"Hey hey, welcome to my shop! What can i get you?" He asked while screaming.
"The explosions must have messed up his hearing." Spike told him and Ratchet nodded at that.
"We're looking for Drek!" Ratchet said as he tried to be loud and Spike chuckled at that.

"Sure sure yeah, i've got lots of things on sale! after the bombing, no one is around to buy anything!" He told them.
"We can see that!" Spike shouted.
"Low prices? Oh you bet! i got this info bot!" He said while he held out another one.
"How many of these things do we need?" Spike asked and Ratchet shook his head.

Ratchet payed the guy 2k bolts for it and he handed them the bot.
"Well that's about it for me!" He told them, Ratchet was about to say something but Spike decided not do so, they just gave a thumbs up and walked away, and looked at the bot.

"Afraid to go out at night? Afraid to go out of day?" A voice asked as we see a scientist scarred by two creatures.
"Then you need this! the ultra mech unlimited! this is the ultimate personal defense system!" the voice says as we see a huge robot looking around.

"Blarg industries is taking pre orders, get yours before it's to late." The voice says as the robots shoots two scientists with a missile and the video ended.

"There might be something interesting at the planet that was in that video." Spike suggested.
"Now that's what i call serious firepower! There might be something good for us there." Ratchet said as he put it away,.
"Let's see if there's anything left for us to find, then we'll head back to the ship." Spike suggested, Ratchet agreed to that and they headed off again.

This time when they got back to the split path, Spike and Ratchet used the metal vent shaft that was to their left, they used it to make they're way upside down and pressed down on a platform and they went to another place. when the platform stopped they had to make they're way through an icy path while avoiding heavy winds from being blown off.

"This storm attack messed things up here!" Spike said annoyed as they continued forward.
"Let's just see what's at the end of this thing!" Ratchet shouted as they kept moving forward, they had to make they're way through another metal vent shaft again and they then had to skate they're way through more icy paths, Spike used his Robotic wings in order to hover over large gaps and help they cut corners at much faster pastes.

"Glad to see you can use those in some places." Ratchet told him as they moved along.
"Me too, wonder if these will be improved in the future." Spike told him as they continued again. it was a tough way through this last part, after they had to hang on a ledge and make they're way to the side of the place, they slid down another icy path while jumping over some electric gates, and they soon found a Gadgetron stand run by.. Qwark?!

"Captain Qwark!" Ratchet said pointing at him.
"How do you look unscaved from that ship crash?!" Spike asked shocked that he looked completely fine.
"Where?" He asked pretending he doesn't know them.

"Come on Qwark we know it's you!" Ratchet told him with Spike nodding in agreement.
"Uh, my name isn't Qwark it's, Steve!" Qwark told them and they shook they're heads.
"Look, Steve, we need to know where Drek is before it's to late!" Ratchet told him.
"He could be out destroying another planet at this moment!" Spike said annoyed.

"Did you say, too late? Sirs, it is never to late to acquire the latest long line of products Gadgetron, i have for you two, today only, this Gadgetron PDA." Qwark said reading a note while he pulled out a device.
"Public display affection?" Ratchet asked and Spike laughed at that and he high fived him.

"No no, personal delivery assistant! this device allows you two to purchase ammunition wherever and whenever you want it." Qwark explained and Spike raised his eye.
"Yeah? How do we know it works?" Ratchet asked
"How do we know this isn't some sort of bomb device that will explode when we press the button?" Spike asked as well.

"You can always trust Gadgetron quality! for my names not.. Steve.." Qwark said as his antenna went down and Spike just felt bad for him, they both decided it could be helpful and bought it.

" Thank you and have a Qwarktastic day!" he told them.
"What'd you say?" Ratchet asked.
"Uh.. nothing." Qwark told them and Spike sighed.

"Look Qwark, we know it's you, stop pretending, why are you doing this?" Spike asked as he had Ratchet go to the ship so they can talk, Ratchet was hesitant but trusted Spike enough with it, Qwark looked down sadly.
"I'm trying to make a living here kid, after i failed the deal Drek made with me is done with." Qwark told him.

"Why did you go with him? Didn't being a hero already give you fame and money? How much more could he have offered?" Spike asked.
"Kid, he offered me to be the spokesperson of his new planet, it would have been huge if i was." Qwark explained and Spike sighed.

"Qwark, have you ever thought about anyone but yourself? have you ever thought about the people they saved and how grateful they are for having someone who was willing to save them? Did you ever try to put your ego aside and just try to be selfless?" Spike asked all at once, Qwark looked down sadly.
"No.." He answered and Spike sighed sadly.

"Imagine it this way Qwark, there was someone willing to fight against people who would do really bad things, imagine how those people felt if that person turned against them and teamed up with them? what you are feeling right now, this is what they would feel as well." Spike explained.
"Why would i want to fight something i can't win?" He asked.
"Because no matter what a hero does, if he can't win the fight or not, he'll go down with honor, you had that chance, i'm really sad that you didn't take it, even if you did help us with this, you could have had more honor then.. this." Spike said as he pointed at the stable, Qwark looked around and remembered what it was like when he was the hero, but he never was a hero for the people, but for himself.

"Look kid, there's something important you should know." Qwark told him.
"What is is?" Spike asked concerned.

"While i was um.. doing my business with Drek, there was a recent planet discovered." Qwark told him and Spike looked interested.
"Was it unmarked?" Spike asked.
"Yeah, we discovered it's name was Equis, or Equestria as the inhabitants called, it, it's in the orbit Drek wants to have his planet in and he wants to.. destroy it." Qwark explained and Spike's eyes shrunk and he growled with fury, any anger he felt boiled up within him, could not compare to the anger he felt now.

" WHAT?!?!?!" Spike shouted with pure fury and Qwark stumbled back, Spike couldn't believe it, his home, HIS family, was in danger from Drek, Spike never felt more anger for anyone or anything in his whole life, Spike looked at Qwark dead in the eyes.
"WHERE IS IT?!?!" Spike asked with anger and Qwark cowered before him.
"T... There's an info bot that has the coordinates on Planet Quartu! If you want to save it, you need to head there!" Qwark said scarred.
" Good! Thank you for letting me know this, hope you see this as an opportunity to better yourself, now i' gotta save my home." Spike said as he went to the platform.
"Uh.. yeah, good luck!" Qwark said still scared as he went off.

Spike went back to the ship and Ratchet and Spike noticed Spike was angry.
"Spike? what's wrong?" Ratchet asked with worry.
"Drek's found my home planet, it's the one he's trying to destroy!" Spike said with anger and Ratchet looked shocked at this.
"What?!" Ratchet and Clank said with shock.

"How do we get to that planet?" Clank asked worried.
"There's an info bot with the coordinates on the next planet from the one we found in the city, we need to go now!" Spike said as he took the pilots seat.

"You sure you can fly this thing?" Ratchet asked as he got in as well.
" From the experience i've had with you, this could definitely help, let's go!" Spike said as he started the thing and took off at fast speeds, he never felt more anger in his life, he would make drek PAY for what he's doing, no one messes with his friends.

Hey guys hope you liked this new chapter! I know you have to get that robot disguise to go into the facility and stuff on the next planet, but with the tech Spike has, he can make short work of it, he's basically a speed runner if you've seen those videos before, i know it may be out of character for Qwark at the moment to tell him this, but i feel like Spike could at least encourage him to do a little bit better, so i may not do the Gadgetron planet in this story given the stakes that are at right now, but i might do something similar after the story, who knows.

17: Planet Quartu

Spike flew the ship through space at fast speeds, he never felt more anger for anyone in his life, Drek was planning to destroy his home and friends, and he will make drek pay for it! The three came out upon the planet and landed down, they looked around to see where to go.

"Alright, where do we go first?" Spike asked, Ratchet looked to their left and saw a swingshot cable.
"Let's go over there first." Ratchet said as the three proceeded to run to it, they proceeded to run around a large ring and fight through more enemy's yet again, Spike slashed through every one without mercy, these things may be harming his friends right now, and he wasn't going to let it happen for another second. the three proceeded to make they're way through a few more obstacles and found a scientist at the end.

"Hmm what if Pi over infinity.." He said looking at a device
"Hey, you need help fixing that thing?" Ratchet asked.
"We're in a bit of a hurry." Spike said with worry

"Actually i'm trying to destroy it." He told them.
"Why?" Clank asked
"I was contracted to re engineer a enlarger machine to create huge heavily armed mechs." He explained.
"So that's where those mechs came from!" Ratchet said with realization.
"So your trying to stop Drek from making more!" Spike said with a smile.

"Precisely! Had i known Drek was behind this, i never would have done it!" He said with regret.
"Is there anything we can do?" Clank asked with Ratchet and Spike nodding in agreement.
"Well if you volunteer to be enlarged, you may be able to stop those mechs charging up to stop me from sabotaging this machine!" He told them
"And then you will change me back?" Clank asked
"i've never tried that, but in theory, yes." He answered.

They looked at eachother a little concerned for a moment but they let Clank step onto the pad, Clank instantly transformed into a giant robot and was extremely huge.
"Awesome!" Spike said as he and Ratchet climbed on his back.

Clank then proceeded to fight his way through the robots coming they're way, Clank was far stronger now and was able to take down most in one hit, he made his way back around the way they came from and taking down stuff blocking they're way, Spike couldn't just let Clank have all the fun, he pulled out his RYNO and proceeded to help Clank fight them off. They went into a large arena area and were surrounded by more.

Clank was able to take down a lot of large mechs, Spike jumped off of him and took more down with his blades and cut right through them, Spike slashed them down with fury, these were most likely made to destroy innocent homes and people, and Spike was not gonna let that happen. They fought through about ten waves of enemy's but they were soon able to take them all down and high fived eachother with victory. They then made they're way back to the scientist.

"Well, done! Now just step into the machine and we'll see what happens." The scientist told Clank, he stepped back onto the pad and shrunk down to normal.
"Nice to have you back.. i guess." Ratchet said a little disappointed.
"Hey don't worry, it doesn't matter whether your big or small, your still Clank to us buddy." Spike said with a smile, Clank smiled at that and went back to them.
"I recalibrated the device to allow only your specific circuit patterns" He told them.
"Ah, perfect." Clank replied.

"I don't know how to thank you three, maybe this will help." He said as he pulled out an info bot again, they proceeded to watch an ad for Gadgetron and they had a new device called the Hologuise , it was something that would allow a person to become a robot and sneak past others un noticed, the scientist using it turned back to normal but the robots next to him stepped on him and the video ended.

"Wow, who voices the guy in the ad?" Spike asked confused.
"That may come in handy in the future." Ratchet told them.
"Robots are not so easily fooled." Clank told them, they smirked at that.
"Ah what's that?!" Ratchet screamed.
"Is that a alien monster?!" Spike asked scarred.
"What?" Clank asked and turned around and they smirked again.

"Uh, huh." Ratchet told him while Spike was laughing.
"Not so easily fooled my butt, lets check out that factory not." Spike suggested as they headed back to the factory.

They took a little backtrack but made they're way to the factory again, it was guarded by a laser grid and Spike thought about what to do, he then got an idea and pulled out that special device he got from Bob. He activated it and much to their surprise the device was more then a magnet, it was able to cause an EMP and it was able to shut down the gates and the robots guarding it.

"Well that makes things easier for us." Ratchet said with a smile.
"Least we don't have to waste anymore time backtracking to another planet, we'll get that device at a later date." Spike told them.
"Right, we got a planet to save!" Clank said as they went in.

The three proceeded to fight they're way through the factory, they took down more large robots as they went on, they had to platform they're way through another area, they had to crawl over a large ledge again to another part of the area, any more gates they could come across Spike was able to disrupt with an EMP and they were able to get past things.

They went through an area that required their swingshot again but it wasn't to much trouble, after they took down any more robots that they came across, they came into a room with a large monitor, Clank looked at it curious, Ratchet pressed a button and turned it on.
"That should do it!" Ratchet said as words appeared on the screen saying "son".
"Mother?" Clank asked and Spike was a little shocked.
"Oh brother.." Ratchet said a little annoyed.

the computer said" you have done well".
" I tried mom" Clank said as he looked like he had tears in his robo eyes, it then said" There is still more to do".
"I know" Clank told it, just then another info bot came through a conveyer and landed on the ground.
"Hey look a sister!" Ratchet joked.
"Family reunion!" Spike said as Ratchet laughed at that, They then watched another video.

" My fellow Blarg, our synthetic world is now fully functional and ready for habitation!" The camera viewed over to a new planet, it's not veldin, it's something else...
"However there is one small obstacle in our way. this pathetic lump of a planet!" Drek said as the camera views it and it's identified as Equis.
" Due to some blunder of pain, it happens to habit the galaxy's most perfect orbit, but not anymore! Behold, the de planetizer! The most powerful laser ever created!" Drek said as they see a large device.
" Soon we'll move the laser just above the planets surface, i will be on there to press the button and it will blow this planet to smithereens! no one will even miss it. see you then!" Drek said as the video ended.

Spike and Ratchet had a look of pure anger as the video ended.
" HE IS GOING TO PAY!!!!" Spike said with fury with ratchet looking pissed off as well.
"It shouldn't have taken me this long to see it! Drek is going to find out what happens when you mess with Spike's home and me!" Ratchet said with anger.
"The coordinates say it's in the Dragon Lands of my home! We need to go now!" Spike shouted.
"There is no time to waste, let's go." Clank said as they started to leave. Clank then looked back at the computer.

"I will try to make you proud mom." Clank told it, the computer said one more thing" You already have".

The three ran back to the ship at fast speeds, Spike took the pilots seat and activated the ship and took of to the planet that was his home. This was the fight for his world and the lives of his friends.
"Hang on guys, i'm coming, and Drek is going to pay.." Spike said with anger as they flew through space as fast as the ship could go.

Hey guys hope you liked this chapter! I know i skipped over the gadgetron planet and Drek's fleet, but i honestly say there wasn't much to those areas aside of kind of patting out the time for it. Next up is the fight for Equestria and Spike's homecoming, then i will have an extra that will be sort of a teaser for future stories, hope you look forward to it

18: The Return Home, And Battle Against Drek

The three flew through space one more time as they headed back to Spike's home, this was going to determine the fate of Spike's home and the lives of his friends, Spike felt his anger boiling up as he was trying to contain it the best he can, when he gets to Drek, he won't let him get out without mercy. Spike knew the Dragons would not give up without a fight, and he hopes they can hold off the attack long enough for them to save it.

Soon they came upon Spike's home planet.
"Equestria.." spike said as they entered the atmosphere, the flew across the sky and saw the laser in the Dragon Lands.
"There! We can still stop this!" Ratchet said as the ship landed down not to far from it, they then got out and looked at the place.
"This is your kinds home?" Clank asked.
"Won't be for long if we don't stop this, let's hurry now!" Spike said as they started to run.

Spike saw that this place was being attacked by more robots, a ton of dragons were fighting them off, Spike helped them out and slashed through them all in less then a minute.
"Who are you? and what is that you have?!" A dragon asked surprised.
"I'll explain later, me and my friend have to.. Garble?!" Spike asked as he recognized him.
"Spike?!" Garble asked shocked, he realized the dragons he just helped was him and his crew.
"You know him?" Ratchet asked Spike.

"What is that stuff you have on you?" Garble asked confused as he looked at Spike's armor and noticed Ratchet and .
" It's a long story, look i know this is short notice, but i need to get to that laser, or this entire world is doomed!" Spike said with worry.
"We saw a small guy in a mech heading to it, you gotta hurry if your trying to stop him." Garble told him.
"Thanks, we have to go, see you later." Ratchet said as he started to leave.

"Spike? Who.. what is that? What have you been doing?" Garble asked confused.
"Again, long story, hope this puts us on good terms after this, i'll explain later when Drek is done with." Spike said as he Activated his Robot wings and took off and held onto Ratchet as they flew off, Garble and his crew were in utter disbelief in what they just saw, but they had to accept it and hoped that little Drake can save them.

Spike and Ratchet flew on over to the laser at fast speeds, They landed down on the thing and looked around.
"Drek! Show yourself!!" Spike shouted, just then a large shadow came over them and looked up to see Drek in a robot suit.
"You couldn't stop yourselves could you, i assume this is your planet? How sad this is where you came from." Drek insulted.

"Stop this at once Drek! This is not how you have to do this!" Ratchet told him.
"There must be another way for your people." Clank told him, and Drek laughed.
"You think that's what this is about? Who do you think polluted our last world? I did!" Drek told them and they looked at him with anger.
"This is about one thing and one thing only, cash! And lot's of it! you see i've been paid for every square inch of my new world, and when the inhabitants move in. i'll begin polluting on this new world as well! And the whole things starts all over again! Ah.. Perfect!" He said with an evil smile.

Spike growled with pure anger, Spike's armor started to turn red as a red energy came of it.
" YOU.. SON OF A MOTHER******* *****" Spike shouted which surprised them at his language, he screamed as he lunged at Drek with fast speeds surprising Drek, he then tackled Drek and the robot to the side.
"RATCHET, SHUT THE THING DOWN! I'LL HANDLE HIM!" Spike shouted, Ratchet and Clank nodded in agreement as they headed to the device.

"You think you can stop me?! Do you have any idea you any idea who you are messing with?!" Drek asked with anger. Spike's eyes turned red as the Blades he hat became red as well.
"You have no idea...!" Spike said with anger and he charged at Drek, Drek fired missiles at Spike, Spike then cut through them as he fought Drek, he tackled Drek back farther away from the switch as Ratchet and Clank were working to deal with it.

Spike and Drek continued to fight on as more and more dragons started to appear, they watched with interest as they saw a hatchling in extremely advanced weaponry and gear was holding his own, Spike then lunged at Drek again.

" YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BUT YOURSELF!" Spike shouted as he stabbed the swords into the robot. Drek shook him off and tried to shoot him down, the shots hit Spike but when the smoke cleared it revealed nothing but red eyes of anger and Spike came out completely unscaved surprising everyone.
"How?! What do you know about business?" Drek asked with anger.
" Do i look like i care about answering to you?!" Spike asked with anger

Spike walked through every shot without moving an inch.
"I don't give a blind **** about your business, i don't care about your stupid planet! You came to MY HOME and are trying to destroy it and my friends!!" Spike shouted as he grabbed one of the robots arms and completely ripped them off and threw them into lava and the Dragons cheered at that.
"Tear him apart!" A dragon shouted as the others cheered at that.

Drek continued to back off as he continued firing at Spike, but nothing was working.
"It can't be! I have worked months on these devices, what are you?!" Drek asked with anger. Ratchet then walked up next to Spike and looked at Drek.
"Spike's a dragon, my friend, and he is something that you will never hope to beat, no matter how much you try." Ratchet told him.
"Damn right!" Spike replied.

"Ugh that tedious power of friendship nonsense! don't you have anything original?" Drek asked.
"Yeah we do, we have the RYNO gun and a specialized rocket launcher full of plot!" Spike said with a smug as he and Ratchet pulled out the RYNO and rocket launcher much to Drek's surprise.

"Oh.. now see that's bull****" Drek said a little disappointed at that.
"don't mess with dragons, or my friends, idiot." Spike said as he and Ratchet fired their weapons at Drek, it created a massive explosion and Drek went flying onto the side of the laser and it tipped all the way around, Drek tried to escape it and he and the suit went flying into the planet as he screamed.

The laser completely flipped upside down and was aiming at the planet, Spike became normal again and calmed down.
"Hey you alright Spike?" Ratchet asked and Spike smiled.
"Am now, there's only one thing to do..." Spike said as he looked at the switch.
"Are you thinking what i'm thinking?" Clank asked.
"You know, this time i am thinking what your thinking!" Ratchet said with a smile.

they then walked over to the switch and they looked at Spike.
"Care to do the honors Spike?" Ratchet asked.
"with pleasure!" Spike said with a smile, he then looked at the other dragons watching.
"Everyone hit the deck!" Spike shouted, all the dragons went to take cover as Spike slammed down on the switch, the laser fired into the sky and hit the planet and it was destroyed for good, it destroyed Drek, and his selfish desires along with him.

They then saw the debris falling down to them.
"This can't be good.." Ratchet said worried.
"Run!" Spike shouted as he and the others ran to the edge, Spike activated his wings and grabbed Ratchet and Clank and took off, the debris hit the laser at multiple and the device was broken apart and it fell into the lava and was destroyed.

Spike and Ratchet ran across the area and hid in a cave with some other dragons to take cover, soon enough all the debris stopped falling and they sighed in relief.
"We did it.." Ratchet said as they came out, they looked around and saw the destroyed ships of Drek, and saw everything was safe.
"We did it! We did it!!" Spike shouted as he and Ratchet and Clank cheered at their victory, the dragons roared in victory as they had won the battle all thanks to Spike.

"I cannot believe it worked!" Clank said relieved.
"Yeah me too, i'm so glad it's all done with." Spike said with a smile as they continued to walk back to their ship, soon Garble came up to him with someone else.

"Spike, thank you, i'm sorry for what happened in the past.. that was the coolest thing that i ever saw." Garble said with a smile and Spike laughed at that.
" apology accepted, It was nothing really, wait till you hear my adventures in space!" Spike told him.
"You went through space?!" An orange dragoness asked shocked.
"Several planets. fought through killer robots and aliens, awesome weapons! It's a great story let me tell you!" Spike said as he laughed more.
"Can't wait to hear it, this is my sister Smolder, hope you have a lot to tell later." Garble said as he and Smolder shook hands.
"Sure will, nice to meet you Smolder, these are my friends Ratchet and Clank." Spike said as he introduced them and they waved.

"What's up?" Ratchet asked.
"Pleased to meet you." Clank told them.
"Glad to meet you too Spike" Smolder said with a smile.
"Don't you have someone to see?" Garble asked.

"Right, almost forgot, thanks guys, i'll see you later. gotta see my friends." Spike said as he started to walk off.
"Hey!" A dragon shouted and Spike looked at him.
"What?" Spike asked.
"What do we do with these metal parts? They made a huge mess." He said as they looked at the parts.

" Throw em into lava, just get rid of them, we can't let this stuff get into the wrong hands." Spike said as he grabbed and chucked a piece into a lava pit.
"Nice throw." Ratchet told him.
"Sounds good, let's clean this mess up." He said as he and other dragons started to clean up, Ratchet looked at Spike.
"Ready to go home?" Ratchet asked.
"More then ready buddy's!" Spike said as they went to their ship again and took off, while they were flying Clank asked Spike something.

"Hey Spike?" Clank asked.
"Yeah?" Spike replied.
"Do you know what that thing happened back there was?" Clank asked.
"Yeah, you kind of went berserk there, couldn't even touch you when you were like that." Ratchet said interested as well, Spike then thought it over.
"I don't know.. i just felt so much anger.. and i felt it become power.." spike said trying to explain.

"Do you think this ties into those weapons of yours?" Clank asked.
"It could be, we'll brainstorm this later." Spike told them as they continued flying.
"Yeah, i just wonder who left these weapons.. and if there are any more.." Ratchet said with interest, they all thought about it to, it was strange that these were seemingly only for Spike to use, and the question is.. who made them?

Spike and the others soon came upon Ponyville and Spike looked at it .
"Home.." Spike said with a smile as they landed down and got out, all the ponies around noticed them and were really scarred, it was most likely from the invasion.
"Who.. who are you guys?" A pony asked scared.

"don't worry, we're not here to harm you, we're looking for Twilight Sparke, is she here?" Spike asked, just then 6 figures came into Spike's view, and he noticed them, it was Twilight, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rainbow dash, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie, they then realized him.

"S... Spike?" Twilight asked as tears started to come in her eyes.
"Is that you?" Fluttershy asked shocked, Spike then came up to them and gave her a hug.
"It's me Twilight, it's me.." Spike said with tears as the others hugged him.

"Where were you?! We were so worried!" Rainbow dash asked him.
"We thought you were gone, and we couldn't fine you.." Rarity said crying as well.
"We searched everywhere for you.. and found nothing.." Applejack told him, they all let go and looked at them.

"It's a long story guys, there's someone i want you to meet, these are my friends Ratchet and Clank." Spike said as Ratchet came up.
"Nice to meet you, found Spike on my planet, wasn't gonna let him fend for himself, so i took him in." Ratchet said with a smile.
"And i am the one who helped them fly and search for you." Clank told them.

"So you took him in?" Twilight asked, and Ratchet nodded with a smile.
"Thank you!! thank you so much!!" Twilight said with pure joy.
"Not a problem, we have a lot to tell you about." Ratchet told her.
"You sure do.." Rarity said as she looked at Spike's armor.
"We'll all celebrate with a welcome home party!!" Pinkie shouted, everyone laughed at that, Spike then looked at Ratchet.

"Ratchet, thank you, i don't know where i'd be if i didn't meet you." Spike told him.
"Hey, i promised to get you home, and i did, and now, we can go on more adventures together!" Ratchet told him.
"Totally! Let's just focus on all of this first, we've got a lot to explain." Spike said looking at everyone, they all smiled with joy as they had their friend return home safe. It was a long journey for Spike and Ratchet and Clank, but in the end they got Spike home safely, and now they had more stuff planed for them in the future...

Epilogue: The Start of Something Else..

Spike was currently partying with his friends, they had set up a party for Spike's return, Spike was explaining this all to his friends while they looked on with awe. Ratchet was going crazy with punch as he was drinking tons of it, they all cheered for them as they partied out.

The camera then starts to zoom out from Equestria, then from the planet, and from the galaxy, all until it's just a single speck on a screen, the two figures from before were watching it all happen.

"So he saved his home.." The male said with a smile.
"I'm glad it turned out okay in the end.." the female said relieved.

"I'm just glad he was able to do so, he has way more for him ahead in this world.." The father said with interest.
"This world so far is good, but others.." The mother said with concern. the father sighed.

"Why did we agree to this? We should have been there for him when he hatched, he's our son.. i know we were meant to do this so he can have a better life in the future, but to go so long without us.." The father said with regret.
"I know it's hard dear, but we had no choice, our work with the Lombaxes must not be put in vain.." The mother said with regret as well.
"I know, sometimes i just wish i could have been there, and helped him with raising him.." "The father told her.
"Emerald, i know how it is, i just wanted to be there to, but this job.." She said with tears.
"It's to keep the timelines safe.. i know Starfire.. we both knew this would be hard.." Emeralds told her.

Just then a monitor next to them beeped and Starfire looked at it.
"What's going on?" Emerald asked and she sighed.
"More timelines are branching, more then before.." Starfire said as they see what looks like a single line of energy, and more are starting to spread out..
" How is this happening?" Emerald asked.
"It's unknown, but it means, the more Spike's that come from them.. the better chance it has of stopping.. him." Starfire said with fear. Emerald had a chill of fear as he was mentioned.

"Guess that's one good thing to come from these, what's the story with these new ones?" Emerald asked.
"Let's see here.." Starfire said as she tapped the screen on a new branch and the screen zoomed into that universe.

Spike is seen with the dragoness from earlier called Smolder, they were with two creatures called humans, Starfire looked at her information.
"This one is said that this takes place in a land called Hyrule, this is a few years after Spike, his friend and the human named Link destroyed a monster called Calamity Ganon, they are currently investigating a strange gloom coming from their castle.." Starfire explained as we see them in front of some strange mummy..

it was being held down by a glowing hand, soon it fell of and two gems came rolling to them, Spike looked at one and he and Zelda picked them up, the stones glowed brightly as they felt it.
"What is..?" Spike asked, just then they heard a really loud heartbeat. the 4 gasped and saw the strange mummy started to move.

The monster fell back down, but its head snapped to them and it's eyes lit up, tendrils of malice then shot from its chest and went towards them, Spike put the thing away and he and link pulled out they're swords, but the malice went right over them and went across their whole right arms!
"Agh!!" Spike screamed in pain as they got it off, Link and Spike looked weak from the attack as the malice came to them again, Link and Spike swung they're swords at them, but the malice shattered the Master Sword and the sword spike was using.. a single piece went flying to the mummy and made a single cut..

"Link!" Zelda shouted with worry.
"Spike!" Smolder said horrified at his state, just then the mummy started to speak.

"Was that the sword that seals the darkness? A blade that shatters so easily against my power, cannot save you from me.." He said as his body was twitching.
"Zelda.. Spike.." He told them and they gasped.

"You who carries that fragile sword, are Link, and that orange friend of yours, is Smolder.. Rauru placed his faith in you two, and that was all you could do?" He asked in disgust.
"How do you know our names?" Zelda asked scarred as the others looked scarred. The mummy didn't answer, instead he focused his power into his chest, and he spread it to the top, on the surface, Hyrule Castle started to be forced into the air by a huge amount of malice, we cut back to the cave, the mummy proceeded to fall to the ground, Spike and Link clutched they're arms in pain.

"Link!" Zelda shouted with worry, Smolder tried to help them but the ground collapsed and Spike and Zelda started to fall.
"Zelda! Spike!" Smolder shouted with worry, she and Link tried to reach for they're hands, but they couldn't catch them and they fell down more.. they looked on with horror as they fell, suddenly a golden light appeared from them and they teleported away... Suddenly the green hand from earlier grabbed them both as they look shocked at it, it then brings them through a portal. a view of the castle rising to the air is seen as Hylians look around in horror with the fallen debris.

The Camera then cuts back to the two as they look with horror.
"Where did they go?!" Emerald asked with horror, Starfire was trying to find out they're coordinates but couldn't
"Unknown, it predates any history known from that world." Starfire explained, Emerald tried to process this.
"So he went.. through time?" Emerald asked shocked.
"That's the only answer we can make right now.." Starfire said sadly, Emerald sighed sadly.
"I just hope they can make it out okay, what's next?" Emerald asked. Starfire sighed and pulled up another.

"This is a timeline, where Spike was captured by an alien group called the Kraang, he was going to be experimented on, but was rescued by a group of mutant turtles and was taken in by them , he and them are currently trying to save a friend called Karai from they're enemy the Shredder.
"Why does this happen to our son?!" Emerald asked with anger as they watched the footage.

Spike and the 4 turtles are currently fighting more Foot bots as they are trying to save their friends with Splinter, the turtles are almost caged but Leo is able to stop his cell from closing, he and Spike attempt to make they're way to save Karai, they're able to free her from the cage, but Karai notices the Shredder behind them.
"Look out!" Karai shouted, Spike noticed this and pushed Leo out of the way, the shredder kicked both him and Karai off the ledge, and they fell into a tank of mutagen..
"Spike!! Karai!!" The turtles shouted with horror.
" Karai! No!" Shredder said with horror as he didn't intend for her to fall in.

Spike and Karai's body's are seen in the tank and scream in pain, they're body's mutate into horrific snake creatures, they try to escape one more time but fall down, when they're bodies are revealed they have become monster snake mutants much to everyones horror.
Emerald looked on with anger, he wanted to tear Shredder apart for harming his son and doing this to him.. He punched a nearby wall in anger and completely dented it as we cut back to them.

"It's always our son.. why is it our son?!" He asked with anger.
"I don't know Emerald, i really don't.." Starfire said with regret, they then looked back at the screen. Starfire pulled up one more timeline as we see Spike in front of a huge dragon.

"This is a timeline where Spike was summoned by a dragon named Shenron, he was brought to place called the Time Patrol in order to help keep the timeline safe" Starfire explained as we see Spike in front of him.

"Who are you?!" Spike asked with amazement.
"My name is Shenron, the eternal dragon, i have brought you here for an important task." Shenron explained.
"What task?" Spike asked confused.
"Something that will make the universe safer, you will be given a fragment of my power to handle yourself, you will meet new friends and enemy's, but you will grow as you go through your journey, farewell, and good luck Spike." Shenron said as he disappeared, an energy flew around Spike as he felt a huge power flow through him.

"What is this?" Spike asked himself.
"That's the power of Shenron, you must be special if you were to be summoned by him." A voice told him, Spike turned around and saw a creature he'd never seen.
"W.. who are you?" Spike asked.
"My name is Trunks, i'm a Saiyan from Planet Vegeta, son of Vegeta, i'm here to explain this all to you." Trunks introduced, Spike looked at him with interest.
" This might be interesting.." Spike said as he looked at Trunks, the camera pins back to Starfire and Emerald as they watch it.

"At least he'll grow really strong in this timeline." Emerald told her.
"He'll have a unique set of ability's in every timeline, let's just hope it's enough." Starfire said with hope.
"Me too Starfire, let's hope it can stop him.." Emerald said with worry as they continue to watch on all the new timelines starting to form..

We cut to Ratchet, Spike and Clank in front of a Tv they seem to be watching an add that Qwark is in.
"Do you have a problem unwanted hair? is painful itching in your nether regions causing you a huge embarrassment? do you just plain stink? Then you need this!" Qwark says as he points to a device with multiple tools attached to that.

" The Gadgetron personal hygenator! Hi i'm Steve, Mc Qwark, and this baby can take care of any grooming needs that you have just to much trouble to handle yourself." Qwark tells them.
" It looks like he made that from scratch." Spike tells Ratchet.
"Seriously." Ratchet agrees.

"Allow me to demonstrate!" Qwark says as he grabs the device, the three watch in utter disgust as he used the thing to touch multiple unwanted parts of his body, and Qwark seems to enjoy it a lot.
"Now i'm traumatized!" Spike says disgusted, Ratchet looks at Clank.
"Turn it off! Turn it off!!" Ratchet tells him. Clank grabs the remote and the screen turns off.
