Kuro is a kitsune god who got seriously injured when defending a universe and was forced to retreat. Now he will live among the ponies and watch over them.
"Fuck!" I realized my counter part stopped time as he seemed to teleport Infront of me and slashed me with his scythe. He laughs darkly as he flicks his scythe to the side, splattering my blood in said direction.
In case you the reader, is wondering what we look like, here's a description. Hello. My name is Kuro. I'm a nine tailed kitsune with fur that's filled with the color of galaxies. Both my eyes are half red and half purple. My opponent is essentially an evil me. Pure black fur with red stripes and black eyes with only a yellow slit.
"You're getting slopy." He says as he disappears. I grab him by the throat from behind me.
"And you're just as predictable." I say crushing his windpipe.
"Ack!" He starts choking but knees my elbow and breaks it to escape. "You're body is just as fragile. When will you open your eyes?" He says in a raspy voice.
"If you think about it, our bodies are fragile to each other because we're strong. Also I didn't think I needed to." My arm separates into pieces and fixes itself. I wipe the blood from my mouth. "Alright. You wasted a significant amount of my magic so I guess I should take this a little more seriously. Lightspeed." I say opening a single eye.

Evil Kuro spat out a large amount of saliva as the original had gut punched them and sent them flying back. "The hell did you do?" He said sputtering. Kuro didn't answer them but leaned forwards and vanished. Evil Kuro started receiving a barrage of hard hitting blows from all sides and was forced to look up and saw Kuro rocking down to him. Evil Kuros body bends as Kuro kicks them down. He smiles and then uses his momentum to spin and slashes at air. Kuro became visible again as he stopped moving.
Kuro backed away and held his throat tightly as blood spilled from it. "What's the matter? I caught you off guard there. You aren't finished are ya?" Evil Kuro said laughing. Kuro attempted to speak but instead spat out blood. He continued to hold his throat but closed his eyes again. "Heh. See ya then." He said as a Kuro left through a portal.
Twilight looked out the window and let out a sigh of content. She had just finished rearranging the bookshelves. Just then she saw a portal open in the distance. "Spike!"
"Yes Twilight?" the small dragon said looking around the corner.
"Grab my 'New discovery' kit!" Once spike returned with a blank book and some quills, they took off towards the direction of the portal. After a few minutes they realized the portal opened above the Everfree forest.
"Um, Twilight? That's the Everfree forest. Even if it did appear in there, then whatever came through can't be good. You know how weird this place is?"
"Yes spike, I do." She said walking into the forest. "I came through here when my friends and I defeated Nightmare moon." She continued walking as spike rode on her back. She made it in rather far when she started to smell something horrible. She didn't realize it until it was too late but she was being surrounded by timber wolves.
"Twilight...What do we do?" Spike asked nervously.
"Stay calm spike, we can handle two." Just then five more came out and they circled them. Twilight began to worry. She wasn't sure how to handle this. She blasted the first few that tried to attack her. But her magic wasn't strong enough to destroy them. Then they all jumped at her at once. Twilight saw her life flash before her eyes. or at least, that's what she thought. White beams of magic struck each timber wolf leaving a hole in them.
Twilight turned to see her savior and her eyes went wide at the amount of blood they were stained with. Their neck was split open and was bleeding. Though the bleeding seems to be slowing down. She felt sick at seeing this and wondered how they were still alive. The timber wolves charged the being and were disintegrated by another beam of light that was shot out from his hands. Twilight held out a hoof shake but they collapsed almost immediately. "Spike, go get Fluttershy. Tell her to bring some bandages."
"But twilight-"
"Please spike and be quick." She said calmly. Spike quickly left and twilight made a makeshift sled. Her mind was racing but she had to try and remain calm. If she wanted to save this being she needed to think. After a moment she made a makeshift bandage out of leaves and covered their neck with it. It wasn't very effective but it should help a little. She placed them on the sled and began pulling. She was careful and quick and reached the end of the forest where she saw Fluttershy approaching.
Fluttershy reached them and saw the being laying on the sled. She gasped at their wounds and asked twilight, "Who is that? Why are they so hurt?" Flutteryshy had went into caretaker mode and began applying the bandages.
They carried him into Fluttershys house and brought him to her room. He was carefully laid down and twilight went to get some disinfectant. Fluttershy stayed with him and watched over him. He started to groan on pain and clench his fists. Fluttershy softly ran her hooves over his head, gently petting him. "You're ok. You're safe now." She said soothingly. He relaxed a bit after being pet.
"Fluttershy, I got the disinfectant and some new bandages." The ones on him were already soaked in blood.
"Ok place them down right next to me." Fluttershy got a small wooden tray of sorts and poured the disinfectant into it. She placed the new bandages in it and soaked them. "Twilight, take off the bandages."
"Ok." She used her magic to unwrap the beings neck. She felt like vomiting when she got a closer look at the wound.
"This will hurt ok? But just bear with it." She said softly petting them. She began to apply the bandages and he flinched and squeezed at the bed covering. "There, all done." He still held onto the bed covering but was more relaxed.
"Fluttershy... I'm not sure he'll make it."
"He will twilight. I know it. I'll look after him for now." Fluttershy said determined.
"It's getting late. I'll be back tomorrow." Twilight left and Fluttershy stayed holding the beings hand. She noticed that he seemed to be having a nightmare. She climbed into bed with him and softly rubs the top of his head which relaxes him. She continues this until she also gets tired and falls asleep.
I woke up to a wooden ceiling and bandages around my neck. I lightly tapped on them and winced in pain. This is strange, usually my pain nullification works, which means he might of laced his weapon with magic. I get up and search around the house to find no one here. I seem to be healed enough to talk, eat, and drink again but I'm still not at 100%. Not to mention all my magic is currently drained. I sigh and look at my now iridescent tails.
I search through the kitchen for some tea and summon Sam to sit next to me. Sam is a being of my creation. Pure white fur with blue ear and tail tips. Golden eyes and a small electrical current visibly flowing around her. I start brewing the tea and set the kettle on the stove. I give Sam a big hug to feel her soft fur. I let out a content sigh as I relaxed. My ears perked as the pot kettle whistles. "Tea time." I took the kettle and poured tea into a cup I found and sat on the sofa. Sam laid across my lap as I took a sip and practically melted into the sofa. Haven't had the chance to relax like this in forever.
"Yo Fluttershy you here?" The rainbow Pegasus that busted in looked at me and my now spilled tea which spilled onto Sam. She wasn't happy. "Who are you?" She asked confused.
"Kuro."
"... That's all?"
"Yeah. I dunno how I got here."
"Ok- Woah! What happened to your neck?" She flew up to me and looked at the bandage which was a bit bloody.
"Something." I doubt she'd want to hear the details. "Oh right, what's your name?"
"Rainbow Dash! The fastest and greatest flier in all of Equestria!" She says proudly.
"Heh. I bet you are." I smile and pat her head.
"Hey what's that about?" She says swatting away my hand.
"Ah, sorry. You reminded me of someone." I move my hand to Sams head and pet her. "So who's this Fluttershy person?"
"Person? Only ponies around here."
"Ok so who are they?" Just then the door opens and a purple Unicorn and yellow Pegasus come in. They look at me sitting on the couch and the giant Kitsune on my lap taking up the whole couch. "Yo." I say holding up a hand as a greeting. The yellow one flies up to me rather quick and looks at the bandage.
"You shouldn't be out of bed." She says quietly. "Are you ok?"
"Yeah, for the most part." She gave me a sudden hug and accidentally touched my neck. She retreated almost immediately.
"S-sorry..." She says.
"Don't worry about it." I say waving a hand. "So which of you is Fluttershy?" The yellow pegasus raises her hand. "K and who are you?" I ask the Unicorn.
"My name is Twilight Sparkle and I was the one who found you in the everfree forest. Although Fluttershy nursed you back to health." She looks at Sam. "Who is that one?"
"My name is Kuro and this is Sam." I say petting her. "Thank you very much Fluttershy." Sam moves off me so I can stand. I walk to Fluttershy and look into her eyes. After a few seconds I sigh. "My usual charms won't work on you. Too bad, wanted to have some fun." I say with a sigh and sit back down.
"Usual charms? Are you trying to hypnotize us or something?"
"Not at all Rainbow Dash. Its a joke type charm." She looks at me skeptically.
"Your fur changed color." Twilight says inspecting my ears then all nine of my tails. "So many tails and they're very soft..." She says hugging one. She then quickly backs away a bit embarrassed and started writing on a paper.
"The amount of tails usually tells a kitsunes power and status. Those with nine like me are considered royalty or gods. Also mine lose color when I lose significant amounts of power or magic."
"So you're basically defenseless right now?" Rainbow Dash asks and I nod in response.
"Royalty...?" Twilight asks me shakily as she stops examining Sam.
"Well I'm not royalty." Twilight then sighs in relief. "I'm a god." All of them choked on air except for Fluttershy whos only concern was that I was unable to protect myself at the moment.
"So what are you the god of?" Rainbow Dash asked after recovering.
"Universal Timelines. My job is to oversee them all and make sure they don't divert from their intended course, which doesn't happen often. Im sure that you're at least familiar with multiple universe and timeline theories." The only one who seems to understand is Twilight who looks at me with sparkling eyes.
"Tell me Everything!" Twilight says getting rather close to my face.
I push her away. "I can't. It's too much to talk about and I kinda don't wanna."
"Are you a filly or something?" Twilight asks me frustrated.
"Nah, I'm 300 years old."
"300?" They all ask me at once.
"Y-yeah. Been around for a few centuries. Worked over 200 years without breaks so I think I'm going to relax in this universe. That alrighty?"
"Well I think its going to be ok. You should ask the princess though. She wants to meet you."
"Yeah? How does the princess know about me? I just arrived today. Actually how long have I been out?"
"A week." Twilight answered.
"A week? How did you not know about me Rainbow Dash?"
"We sort of kept it a secret..." Fluttershy said timidly.
"I see. When do I meet the Princess?" Sam comes over to me and lays on my lap again.
"She said whenever you wake up so tomorrow I think. I'll also be bringing the rest of my friends with me so you can meet them." Twilight said.
"Awesome."
"Well I only came to check in on you so I'll see you tomorrow." Twilight left and so did Rainbow Dash. She seemed to of forgotten what she came here for.
"Do you need anything Kuro?"
"Some tea please." She soon returns with some tea which I enjoy.
"By the way Kuro, you can sleep in my bed."
"Nah im good. I'll sleep on the sofa."
"Are you sure?"
"Of course. I'll see ya in the morning alright?" She nods and heads upstairs. I think to myself a bit. I think I'll stay up for a bit. I head outside.
I walk outside Fluttershys little cottage and take a deep breath. The air is really fresh and calming. I look towards the stars and lay down on the grass. This universe feels really peaceful and the stars are all beautiful. I let out a sigh as I relax.
"Hello."
I get up startled and look at a Alicorn who is now standing next to me. "Yo." I wave and lay back down.
"My name is Luna. So you like the night sky? Um. Can you actually see the sky?" She asked looking closer at me.
"Yup. Even with my eyes closed I can see everything. Including your stunning beauty Luna." She got a bit flustered so I decided to tease her a bit more. I went up to her and caressed her chin while leaning in close. "Name's Kuro. Nice to meetcha Luna. Why don't you and I have a little fun before the sun comes up." I say tracing my finger along the underside of her chin. She's blushing profusely now. I lean and so does she. Then... I give her a little kiss on the forehead. "Kidding of course." She lets out a shaky sigh and I smile to myself.
"I-I will see you later Kuro." She says as she leaves. I can see her shaking a little. Guess she really wanted a kiss. Such is the magic of kitsunes. I stay up until morning to watch the sun rise but I sense magic as its going up which is peculiar. I go back to Fluttershy who is now feeding the animals.
"Good morning Kuro." She gives a bunny with some attitude some food. "Did you sleep well?"
"I actually didn't sleep at all."
"Oh my goodness, why not?"
"I wanted to stay up and watch the stars and sun. By the way I noticed that theres magic used when the sun gets raised and the moon is lowered. Any reason why?"
"Yes. Princess Celestia raises the sun and Princess Luna raises the moon."
"So Luna is a Princess? Pretty neat. I met her during the night."
"You met Princess Luna in a dream?" Twilight pops in and asks.
"No, I didn't sleep."
"Then she came to meet you herself? That's amazing! Oh right, we are-"
"Going to meet the Princesses right? I didn't forget." He stretch popping some joints. "Lets go." They arrive in Canterlot and are greeted by guards who escort them to the castle. "Security is pretty tight. Something happening?" Kuro looks to twilight who has gone off towards some other guards. 'Guess I'll explore the castle first before I meet the princesses' he thinks to himself. He wanders down the halls and looks around and run into a pink princess. "Heya." She just ignores him. "Ice queen huh? I like that." he whisper as he leans on her.
"Get off me you insect!" She says pushing him away.
"Wow, harsh. I think you hurt my feelings." he say with a fake cry. "But its also ironic. I mean..." He's suddenly in Princess Cadances face and the shadows make his face dark as he opens his eyes which are glowing red. "Calling me an insect considering what you are... Lemme give ya a warning. Keep going, and I'll send you to hell myself." He then disappears and Cadance gets worried. "That thing knew who I really am... I have to be careful."
