The mane six are stranded on an island, Twilight keeps notes on what is happening
Something is wrong, the mane six are stuck on an island, as if put there. An unknown, "MASTER" has deserted them there for a social experiment. Now its everypony for themselves. However they must act quick to get off the island, before they develop island fever or insanity ensues and devours them.
I have no idea what happened, last I remember, I was in bed back at my house like any other normal day, then I wake up with sand in my face and the smell of salt water. I was on a beach. I was on an island. I looked around to see fog everywhere, it hung low and added to the creepy effect.
My first reaction, naturally, was call out if I was alone, or just dreaming some crazy dream. I saw I wasn't alone. Rarity got up and started screaming,"Where am I? What happened?" Then Rainbow Dash was found up in a tree, I woke her up and she started asking the same question, "where am I? Where are we?" Eventually we found Pinkie Pie, Applejack, and Fluttershy on the other side of the island. we all had a conversation on how we got here. We looked around for evidence, and found nothing.
Eventually we looked around the island for hours, Applejack then said we needed to eat. That was the problem, there were a few coconut trees and a few banana trees on the shore, which was no problem getting down, thanks to Applejack, who kicked the tree to get them down. The bananas tasted bitter and revolting, and the coconuts were hard to get open, Pinkie spent at least an hour trying to break one, Dash even flew up really high and dropped it, but nothing happened, it just bounced off a rock undamaged.
Applejack made a spear out of a stick, and the rest of us did too and tried to fish, they make it look easy in the movies and TV shows but it was hard work, we were lucky to get a small fish and that was it. We knew with common sense, that water wasn't safe to drink, due to being saltwater. But hope prevailed, Dash found a small lake deep in the jungle. I was a little skeptical that it was safe to drink, it looked filthy. It was brown and green, Dash, didn't believe me and took a big gulp from the lake. Then Pinkie and Rarity drank out of it too.
It was almost nighttime when we found a small chest on the shore we awoke on. This is were I got the notebook and pen, the others thought it was useless. I knew I had to keep notes on this situation developing. In the chest were bottles of water, three cans ofcanned corn, three cans of canned peaches, a flashlight, extra pens, a signal flare, a compass, two 18-inch survival knife, a fishing net, a Semiautomatic 9mm pistol with some spare rounds and clips, and a note. I grabbed the note and read it aloud, It said:
Hello, this is a social experiment, We chose you six because you are all close friends, we wanted to see how you would behave if you were stuck on this island for months on end. This is a game with NO RULES. Eventually, you will all go crazy and insane, and possibly, only one will survive. If that does happen, you will be rewarded
It ended there, Applejack then found some matches at the bottom of the chest, and we lit a fire that evening on the beach. We ate the canned corn and peaches, along with the bananas. applejack, was able to crack open a coconut and get some of the water out of it. while we ate, we got to tell some stories, and laugh and have a good time, forgetting we were stuck on an island. The gentle waves smashed into the beach as we laughed throughout the night.
After our meal, we had to make a small camp, we got some sticks, and made a small hut, close to the campfire. I fell asleep for a while, but around midnight, I heard moaning, it continually got louder and louder, I got up and went to the source of the moaning, it was Dash, she was grabbing her stomach, and the smell of fresh vomit filled the air. She was sick, at first, from what? Then I realized, it was the lake water that made her sick, she went to the beach and vomited some more. she started to lose her balance, and I helped her back to her hut and then more moans. Pinkie and Rarity started to have side effects of the water also, both were also grabbing their stomachs. I Felt Dash's head, it was hot, she had a fever and she was starting to shiver uncontrollably. Pinkie and Rarity, weren't doing as bad, maybe because they took a small drink, compared to Dash's gulping. But they had fevers also, but not as bad as Dash's. I helped them and gave them water from the bottles an assured them they would be fine and will live. I didn't have much experience with waterborne sicknesses,
That is what happened on the first day we were stuck on the island, tomorrow, we will try to explore it a little more. So far, there is a small mountain, that Dash keeps saying is a volcano. The center surrounding the mountain is heavily forested, a small river leads into the center of the island and the lake isn't too far from the river. and and another island is visible from here and not too far away. It looks abandoned and desolate also. We all agreed to search it when we get the chance. Now I need to hide this notebook from the others, they are starting to go insane.
The insanity is starting earlier than expected. Well the sick ones are. We have been on this island for just a day, and half of us are already sick and miserable, especially Dash. Her sickness is worse than we thought, she could barely move, let alone breath. Rarity and Pinkie are really weak right now, but are doing much better than Dash. I could've sworn I saw lights on the other island, its probably about a mile or two, possibly further, away. I recommended we go to that island, but we don't have a boat, and only two of us have flight abilities. Well for now Fluttershy, Dash is so sick, she can't even stand up for more than three seconds. Applejack has been the cook of the group, today it was corn and bananas again, the bananas greeted me with their usual revolting sour taste. We then fed Dash, Rarity, and Pinkie. Dash struggled to eat and swallow, even though she said she was really hungry and thirsty. I realized something was different today though.
The chest with the supplies and notes was empty when we fell asleep. It was full when I approached it. It had more food and water in it and another note, which I put in a satchel which was in the chest, it had a note that said: Thought you needed this. The food was the same as last time, corn, peaches, and now, some nuts. Peanuts and almonds to be precise. I went back to the rest of the group, Fluttershy was staring at the horizon and the neighboring island, Applejack was spear fishing, and the sick ones were sleeping in one of the huts. I put the satchel in my hut, and joined Fluttershy. "Beautiful, this place is. Even though we are all stuck here. this place is really beautiful." I said back to her, "Yes Fluttershy, it is." Fluttershy then went on to say she believed me about the other island, that there was someone there.
I left Fluttershy to continue admiring the landscape and went to Applejack, who gave up spear fishing, and went to the hut, and tried to help Dash. She was still sleeping, but shivering more and more, and now, was sweating. We woke her up and she violently woke up, yelled, then vomited. We asked what was wrong, and then she fainted. Rarity and Pinkie started to show signs of recovery. Then all of a sudden Fluttershy screamed and told us to get here to her position. She was looking at the ground, I looked with her, and in the sand, were footprints, no ordinary foot prints, hoof prints. We weren't alone.

Author's note, sorry for a terribly short and possibly rushed part, it was late and I had to go to bed, critique is always appreciated!
Sorry for taking a few days from writing, Things have been getting worse. First off Dash was really sick and in a desperate need of medical attention. Rarity and Pinkie are doing fine and have enough strength to help us, but not enough will to help. The third day, The chest was full again and the hoof marks leading to the western part of the island, someone is listening to us, and giving us the extra supplies, we think they are on the other island, everyone believes me now about someone or possibly, somepony, lives on the island. Pinkie went as far as saying that Discord be living there, I assured her that he wouldn't be there.
On the fourth day, which was yesterday, Dash started to have enough strength to help us get something done. We decided to explore the island a little more, for some reason though, it felt like we were being watched. It felt really uncomfortable when we got deep in the jungle, no daylight hit the floor whatsoever, and we walked into what felt like an eternal darkness. We found the lake, with its green and brown color and passed that, back into darkness and then at the foot of the mountain, we found an old building, it looked like it had been abandoned for some time. Inside, it was covered in dust, debris, plants, and decay. We continued to walk around, when all of a sudden Rarity called for us, we went to her, she was pointing at the ground, hoof marks, again, leading to the other door. We didn't even go there, somepony is watching us and following us, but how?
On our way back, I forgot we hadn't read the note from day 2, we got back to our hut and sat down around the dying campfire, I unfolded it and read it aloud:
Wow, you are doing better than expected. I wish Dash get well soon. Your doing great keep it up! signed, The Master
That was the first time someone wrote a name or form of identification on the note. We now knew who's idea this was. Later that night, we did the same as usual, gather around the campfire and tell stories. Although, we talked about home, we have been gone almost a week, and we started to wonder, if anypony back in Equestria noticed our absence. Applejack said we shouldn't think about home, and figure out a way to get off this island.
Then today, it went as normal, only, I couldn't fall asleep for some reason, the chest was full of supplies again. We all ate breakfast, tried to fish, and then sit around and do nothing all day again. Until another discovery was made. Dash convinced us to let be by herself today, and we agreed to let her be. She called for us, we ran up to her, and she was pointing to a pile of leaves, they looked like your average pile of leaves, but then, something shiny was in there, I cleared the leaves, and there it was, sitting in the pile, it was a camera. It was recording us, that is how we got our supplies and notes. But Dash thought differently, she grabbed the camera from me and started yelling at it, "WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH US?!? WHAT DO YOU WANT?!? WHY DID YOU TAKE US AND PUT US HERE?!? LET ME GO! LET EVERYONE ELSE GO!"
I grabbed the camera from Dash, but she got mad from me taking it from her, and like a small filly who couldn't behave itself, she threw a fit and demanded I give the camera back to her. I slowly gave it back to her, and she grabbed like Rarity taking some precious jewel, Dash started to go even more insane, pretty soon, Pinkie, thinking this was some sort of game, started to yell into it also, " WHY DID YOU TAKE US AND PUT US HERE?!? YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY?!?" It seemed to be the new occupation for everyone else except me and Applejack. Rarity yelled at it quite a bit. Then Fluttershy did too. It seemed everyone had their share of yelling at a camera at the end of the day.
Tonight we didn't sit around the campfire like usual, just Applejack and I. Fluttershy was sleeping, Rarity was crying for no reason, and Dash was still yelling at the camera. After my meal with Applejack, she fell asleep, I was the only one who couldn't sleep. Everyone, including Dash, hugging the camera like it was a stuffed toy, was sleeping. I then heard something, like a small motor, I went to the source of the noise, a small motorboat was there on the shore, with a green, red, black, and yellow flag that had a gold star in the middle hung on a small pole in the middle, along with a shape in the star that I couldn't make out in the dark. Two Pegasi came out of the boat, a white one, and a red one. with bags full of supplies. I secretly followed them to what appeared to be the trunk. I watched them open the trunk up and load it up with supplies and another note, they also were whispering to each other. They were male. "So are you sure all the subjects are asleep?" The white one asked in a whisper. The red one looked back and said, "Well of course, they spent almost the whole day yelling at the camera! They would be tired after yelling like that. I have never seen somepony yell like that or go that insane." The white Pegasus looked around and said back, "we need to get the buck out of here and report back to the Master!" The red Pegasus agreed with him and they flew back to the boat, turned the engine on and went back to what I guessed right about, they were from the other island, they were spying on us the whole time! Who is the Master? He wrote back to us in a letter. All I can say is, it hasn't been a week, but I discovered a ton of secrets here. I need to get some sleep, I haven't slept in a day!
once more, I apologize for not writing in here for days, please expect that. Anyway, its been a week since we were dropped here, and things are just continually getting worse. I told the others of my findings, of the two Pegasi coming to give us supplies and another note. at first they didn't believe me. But then I led them to the chest, and lo and behold, it was full like I saw. The next few days, someone else would stay awake and watch. We knew that we shouldn't interfere, unless we were forced too.
Then we came to a conclusion, why are the doing this? We found more cameras all over the island, even one each of our huts. The Pegasi came much more briefly, and less and less supplies were being left for us. Dash continued to yell at the camera, expecting an answer or something. Along with the others. Only me and Applejack haven't even yelled at it, let alone, touched it. We knew we wouldn't get answers yelling at a camera all day. Then something unexpected and uncalled for happened.
Yesterday the supplies didn't come. That was totally unexpected and uncalled for. It had me yelling at the camera, I yelled, "WHY DIDN'T YOU SEND SUPPLIES? i KNOW YOUR TRICKS AND THE NAMES OF YOUR PEGASI! " Well apparently that kept them from sending supplies to us. That is when the insanity got to its worst.
Our supplies started to get low when the insanity started today, we had to ration what was left of the peaches and corn, four peach slices for everypony, and a hoof full of corn. Dash was complaining that she didn't have enough to eat, no matter how many times we said we had to ration, she wouldn't listen. she then tried to get more food from Fluttershy. Fluttershy turned her back to Dash and wouldn't give her anything. Dash left for a moment and returned with one of the knives, punched Fluttershy right in the face, knocking her over. Dash held the knife to her throat and demanded her food, I went to the supplies hut, got the gun and pointed it at Dash's head. "I will shoot Dash. Drop the knife, we don't want a death from killing each other." I said to Dash, she understood, and slowly, put the knife on the ground, I used my magic, and brought it to me. I told Dash she needed to rest, she still was a little sick. Dash obediently did as she was told and went to her hut and slept there. I went to Fluttershy to check on her. She was a little bit dazed, and had a bruise under her right eye, along with a black eye. I told her to go rest also, she did and slept the whole entire day.
We went back to that old building in the jungle and found a pair of binoculars. We brought them back with us and looked through them to the other island. We couldn't see much, due to fog, but it started to clear, we could see just jungle and that was it. Then I saw something shiny. I looked a little closer and saw a window, and then a building, covered in vines, to camouflage itself with the island. I saw a small dock with the same boat that brought supplies every night and the two Pegasi, who looked like they were taking to each other. their names were, for the white one it was Stephen, and the red one was Geoff. There were mor Pegasi, some earth ponies, and a few unicorns. This island was no ordinary island, it was a fortress. This must of had supplies there, we had to get there, quickly.
Later in the night the supplies came again, when the two Pegasi weren't looking, I snuck in the boat and put a note under the driver's seat, I wrote it earlier today, ripping a piece of paper out of my notebook, the note said:
Hello, me and the rest of us would like to know, who is the master, why do you have cameras all over the island, and finally, why do you have us on this island, if you get the chance, can you let us on your island? Also, one of us is in a desperate need of medical attention, can you help? Thank you
After i put the note under the seat, the two Pegasi came back, I jumped into the water and swam as far as possible and as silent as possible. I overheard a conversation between them though. "We need to hurry the buck up, before the Tsunami comes." Stephen said to Geoff. Geoff, let out a sigh and said, "Yes, I know! But the Master wants us to keep them uninformed on this." Geoff and Stephen got in the boat and drove away. I floated wondering, "Tsunami? A storm is coming, I was totally not expecting the shock I was to get next.
