Ash Ketchum turns into a pony and must get the wild pokemon out of Equestria.
Ash Ketchum, a ten year old boy finds himself in Ponyville, after falling through a portal. after several Pokemon follow him through the portal, He and Fluttershy must travel across Equestria to get the wild pokemon back to his universe, while his rival, Gary Oak wants to let them destroy Equestria, or does he? (This is my first fanfict, so that's why it's so shitty)
Ash Ketchum, a young boy was wandering around his home town of Pallet Town, Kanto. He was bored, and he had nothing to do. His friend, a pok He wished he could speak to his friends, Brock, Dawn, May and Misty, but they lived far away. Suddenly, an odd, rainbow-coloured whirlpool opened up in the ground, with distorted images of strange coloured creatures that looked quite similar to Ponytas. "What is this thing?" Thought Ash, as he stared at the multicolour creatures, conversing, dancing and playing. Ash was curious to see what the odd thing was, so he ran to Proffessor Oak's lab. He explained that an odd, rainbowlike whirlpool opened up in the ground, and that he didn't know what it was. Ash showed the Professor the portal, hoping that he would have mn explaination to what it could be. The Professor didn't know what it was, either. Ash thought. threw a fairly big rock in the portal, and listened to see what would happen. Ash heard a high pitched girl’s voice cry out. “Ouch! Who threw that?” Ash felt bad for hitting a girl with a rock, so without thinking, he recklessly jumped into the rainbow whirlpool.
The inside of the whirlpool was bright. Ash felt strange in his stomach, and his body started to warp, twist and change. He then felt a sensation of white hot agony, like he was cut several times and had salt rubbed in his wounds. His hands and feet turned to hooves. He fell and landed on all fours. A long, black tail grew from his flank, but his hair stayed the same. The whole experience was bewildering and painful. He got tangled up with his clothes. And on both sides of his flank, there was finally a tingly sensation, as he received his Pokéball cutie mark. He finally stopped feeling the pain of changing into a whole new shape. He breathed out, and looked around. He was no longer in Pallet Town. He was now in the Everfree Forest.
He wandered away from the forest, tripping on his clothes several times. After passing a cottage made from a tree on the outskirts of the forest, Ash eventually found himself in a town, filled with odd multicolour
“Hiya stranger! Welcome to Ponyville!” said a pink pony. Her mane was as pink as sweet strawberry ice-cream and her cutie mark was a bunch of balloons. “My name is Pinkie Pie. Who are you?” Pinkie Pie was prancing around and jumping. “Boy, you’re hyper. Hi, my name is Ash Ketchum.” “You’re an earth-pony too! And your cutie mark sure is strange, Ash Ketchum.” Squeaked Pinkie excitedly. She jumped up and down and giggled. “What’s a cutie mark? Is it the Pokéball on my butt? What does it do?” “Oh I can answer that question,” said a purple unicorn. “Cutie marks are obtained when ponies discover a unique characteristic that sets themselves apart from others.” “Gee, Twilight! I could have answered that. Here is a new pony, his name is Ash Ketchum! Ash Ketchum, meet Twilight Sparkle. Twilight, meet Ash Ketchum!” said Pinkie Pie joyfully. “Pleasure to meet your acquaintance, Ash Ketchum” smiled Twilight as she offered Ash her hoof. “The pleasure is all mine, Twilight.” Ash said, as he happily shook Twilight Sparkle’s hoof with his own. “Also, you both can call me Ash, if you want.” “Well that’s a relief!” giggled Pinkie Pie as she jumped up and down. “Ash Ketchum is quite a mouthful. So, Ash. Where do you come from?” “I come from the Kanto region,” responded Ash. “Where in Celestia is that place, Ash? I haven’t even read of a place called Kanto,” Mused Twilight curiously. “Honestly, I don’t know. I came here through a weird portal,” replied Ash, as he stared steadily at the ground. Then, Pinkie burst out saying, “Come on Ash! We should go and meet my other pals!”
Ash, Pinkie and Twilight went off. Ash met a cool blue Pegasus who was extremely fast called Rainbow Dash. She turned out to be a tomboy, and she reminded Ash of his friend, Misty. He met a beautiful and fashionable unicorn named Rarity, who spoke with an English accent. He met an honest earth-pony called Applejack, who worked at a place called sweet apple acres, and then, Ash met the yellow Pegasus pony he accidentally hit with a rock. Fluttershy, who was said to be the kindest pony there was. She introduced herself. “uh…hi there. My name is Fluttershy…what’s yours?” “I’m Ash Ketchum. Hey Fluttershy, did a rock hit you by any chance?” “Yes, a rock flew out of a strange colourful whirlpool. In fact, it’s over there.” Fluttershy made a gesture towards a tree, and there, right at the root of the tree was the portal.
Then, out of the blue, a pony flew out of the portal. Ash immediately recognised the pony as Gary Oak. “Gary? What the buck are you doing here?” “I don’t know! Why am I a pony?” he retorted. Suddenly, several Pokémon from Ash and Gary’s world rushed through the portal, and rushed through Ponyville, making other ponies trip and freak out. The Pokémon made a huge mess, eating food from picnics, biting anypony who tried to chase the Pokémon away. More and more Pokémon kept coming through the portal. And then, the Pokémon ran out of Ponyville. “Oh no!” Exclaimed Fluttershy worriedly. “Those creatures are going to destroy Equestria!” Gary laughed. “What’cha gonna do about it, losers?” “Well, I’m going to save this place! Everyone here is so nice, and it’s partly my fault!” shouted Ash with all his enthusiasm. “Me too!” said Fluttershy. “ I bet you’re going to need some help, Ash!” “You two losers can’t do it! I will do anything and everything to stop you!” yelled Gary, who sounded somewhat frustrated. Before Ash could reply, Fluttershy grabbed his hoof and called out. “Ash! Let’s go!”
Ash and Fluttershy were gallopping after a renagade Rattata, chasing it through the many streets of ponyville. but no matter how fast Ash and Fluttershy ran, the Rattata was faster, and then the duo lost track of it. Ash was getting quite frustrated. "Hey Ash," said Fluttershy quietly. "How about i see where it went from the sky? it couldn't have gotten far." "Sounds like a good plan! I'll keep searching on the ground, 'kay!" replied Ash happily. He liked Fluttershy already, but he barely knew her. Soon, Ash was very lost. He decided to call out to Fluttershy. "Fluttershy! Where are you? I'm lost!" a few seconds later, the yellow pegasus returned with the Rattata following her loyally. "Princess Celestia said she had some things for us in my cottage! It's not too far away! let's go!"
The trip to the cottage was like a blink of an eye. Her cottage was built into a large tree, and it seemed to be an animal sanctuary, yet all the animals seemed scared of the Rattata. Ash and Fluttershy went inside, and found a large backpack on Fluttershy's bed, filled with Pokéballs. Next to the bag was a letter, it read: " Dear Fluttershy I have noticed a vast outbreak of small animals, known in another universe as Pokémon. these balls i have given you are to hold the Pokémon you befriend. The balls shrink the pokémon you befriend so they have space, and the bag holds these pokeballs. If you run out, then send me a letter and i'll send you some more. I trust that you and Ash can catch them all, and i know you won't let me down! Love from, Princess Celestia.
"Come on Ash! We have a job to do! Let's go!" Said Fluttershy with pride. And so Ash and Fluttershy started their great Equestrian adventure!
Ash and Fluttershy were still walking along, and conversing about their worlds. Fluttershy loved animals, and because Pokémon were like animals, she felt she had to come along with Ash, to make sure the Pokémon had good homes, and were safe. Ash described his world, how there were humans everywhere. “Honestly, the only things that resembled ponies were Pokémon like Ponyta and Rapidash… I don’t know if I’ll ever get back home…” he sighed mournfully. The scenery was quite wonderful as the verdant grass tickled his hooves, the wind whooshed all around them, accompanied by the chatter of animals, and causing the tree branches to dance. The sweet scent of pinecones and grass was everywhere. Nopony noticed the Ratatta, made friendly by Fluttershy, was following them. Fluttershy blushed as she told ash that she liked him. Ash didn’t know too much about love then, and he was too self-absorbed to truly realise what she meant. And then, Fluttershy asked a question. “The Pokémon never changed into ponies like you did. What if only humans could change? What if you’re a pony, forever?” Ash’s mouth went dry and it was like his heart stopped. What if that was true? He’d never see his mother again, or Pikachu, or even Professor Oak! “Well,” said Ash with a forced smile, “At least I could stay here with you.” He was really happy about staying with Fluttershy, but the thought of never seeing his loved ones again was overwhelming! In fact, Ash didn’t even realise that Fluttershy was blushing. - Ash and Fluttershy then encountered a Pidgey. Ash finally noticed the Ratatta, and he realised he had to weaken the Pokémon. He commanded the Ratatta that Fluttershy had befriended to tackle the pidgey, and when it did, Fluttershy looked absolutely devastated! “Sweet Celestia! H...how could you fight animals against each other!” she rushed toward the injured Pidgey and held it against her chest. “There there… it’s okay… you’re safe now… Ash, how could you?” “Y-you don’t understand! In my world, you have to weaken the Pokémon before you catch it, or it breaks the Pokéball!” Ash was depressed that he had upset Fluttershy for some reason that he didn’t understand. “Well then,” said Fluttershy hopefully “Maybe, umm, you could make friends with the umm Pokémon before you catch it…maybe.” She petted both the Pidgey and the Ratatta, until they started to like her. “Would you two like a new home?” The two Pokémon made nodding gestures, so Fluttershy threw the Pokéballs at them and caught the Pokémon successfully. “YAY!” Fluttershy shouted joyfully. “Hey Ash! Maybe there is Pokémon in Manehattan, or Canterlot! I’m sorry for trying to make you run around to other places, it’s just, umm, I desperately wanna show you every bit of Equestria, the only problem is, you’re an earth-pony, so I can’t show you Cloudsdale City!” Fluttershy looked like she was about to burst into tears. “It’s alright, Fluttershy. I’m touched that you even wanted to come along this journey with me,” Replied Ash. Fluttershy still seemed sad, so he trotted up toward her and gave her a hug. Little did he know that Fluttershy’s face looked completely red. - Ash and Fluttershy decided to rest. After finding some chocolate cupcakes in a small lunchbox in Fluttershy’s bag, they decided to have a picnic. On the box, there was a note reading: “Made with love, from Princess Celestia.” After eating, the pair was completely full. Fluttershy suggested writing a thank you letter to the Sun Princess, so Ash tried writing on a piece if stationery that conveniently, was also in the bag. Ash’s hoofwriting was something to be desired, so Fluttershy ended up writing the letter. “Hey Fluttershy! Let’s go search for Pokémon! We can even walk to that Canterlot place you were talking about!” smiled Ash. “Umm, Ash. You have to catch a train that leaves from Ponyville to get to Canterlot. Ponyville really isn’t that far away, umm, we can go back and board the train. Umm, also, I have to pee,” murmured Fluttershy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fluttershy told Ash she had to pee, just so she could walk in the woods to be alone with her thoughts. “Ash….” She whispered. Even thinking of him made her heart feel tingly and brought a blush to her cheeks. Why did she feel this way about him? Why couldn’t she admit it? Was she simply too shy, or was it something else? She realised it wasn’t her shyness, but out of fear of having her feelings rejected. Did he already have a special somepony? Was he a coltcuddler? Or did he simply not like her? She was just too scared to ask him if he liked her. She realised that she did admit her feelings to him, but he either wasn’t listening, or didn’t care. It was just so infuriating! She groaned in anger, more at herself than at Ash. And then, Fluttershy had a brilliant idea. She would confess her feelings in Canterlot! It was the most wonderful place she could think of! She didn’t know how, though. She’d never been in love before, and she wasn’t certain she was in love now. “What do I do?” she sighed. “I’ll go to Canterlot first. Then I’ll decide what to do!” ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ “So, you feel ready to go now?” asked Ash excitedly. He was worried about Fluttershy, she took ages, and he honestly thought he couldn’t do this journey without her. “I’m alright, Ash,” Replied Fluttershy, as strong and confident as a warrior before battle. They ran back to Ponyville in what felt like a few minutes. And then, they bought a ticket for the next train to Canterlot. Waiting for the train was a long and awkward experience. It was quite strange, yet Ash really wanted to hold Fluttershy’s hoof. He noticed her staring at him, and he blushed. “Do I have something on my face, Fluttershy?” He asked. “No, Ash. Your face is fine!” giggled Fluttershy, still blushing. Then, Gary Oak showed up. “Hey losers! I thought you were going on an epic quest to get all the Pokémon out of Equestria?” “What the buck is your problem? You were always a dick, Gary, but seriously? What the buck, what do you have against ponies?” snapped Ash. “Look, Ash, it wasn’t my idea okay. Cyrus, the guy who runs Team Galactic, threatened me to, and told me he’d kill everyone I loved if I didn’t destroy Equestria,” he started to stammer uncontrollably. “W-well…s-smell ya’ later, losers!” Gary rushed off, looking embarrassed. A few minutes later, the train to Canterlot showed up. The engineer called out “AAAAALL ABOARD!” And so, Fluttershy and Ash, walking hoof in hoof, climbed aboard the train, as their great Equestrian Adventure continued.

The Pony Express was quite big and comfortable. After Fluttershy showed Ash around the train, she started to blush. “We’re holding hooves!” giggled Fluttershy. “Oh,” smiled Ash, as he blushed and looked down and let her hoof go. “Sorry ‘bout that, Fluttershy.” “I-it’s okay, I umm, kinda liked it,” smiled Fluttershy. Ash was still completely clueless. It’s okay, Fluttershy. She thought, but was still a little confused about Ash’s ignorance. You can get him to notice you in Canterlot. “I’m gonna go get us some snacks,” called Ash from the other end of the train car. “You want anything, Fluttershy?” “Yes please, c-can I have a diet soda?” Responded Fluttershy, and for the first time, without blushing. Moments later, Ash returned with a diet hayfizz for Fluttershy and a huge piece of strawberry cheesecake for himself. They ate and then decided to chat. They got to know more about each other, it turned out that Ash didn’t have a special somepony, but he used to crush on a girl named Misty. Soon, it was time for dinner, where the two had salad, with lemonade, and apple pie for desert. Fluttershy went straight to bed, so Ash stayed up a little longer. After looking out of the windows and seeing the vast wilderness of Equestria, Ash yawned and passed out. But as Ash closed his eyes, the nightmares began to plague his sleep. -- Ash was standing all alone in the dark. His best friend, Pikachu seemed to have died of old age, His mother, Professor Oak, Brock, May, Dawn and Misty, and everyone else he had ever met were stark white with eyes that were completely black. They cried blood, and had dark ring marks around their necks. Brock’s eyes were even open. And then he was staring at a grave, which read; “R.I.P Ash Ketchum. He wanted to be the very best, like no-one ever was…” and then, he saw Fluttershy, cut several times all over her body, and her eyes were blacked out. She then started crying for him. “Ash, why did you have to die?” “I’m not dead!” he called out, but his cry fell on deaf ears. Fluttershy was still crying, and was making a noose, which hung in mid-air. “I’m going to join you, Ash. I love you…” She then hung herself, right in front of him, staring right at him. Her skin turned paler and paler, eventually turning stark white, and the only colour that had been on her body was the red blood seeping from her wounds. “NO!” yelled Ash, but nobody heard him. He tried to run to her, but his legs wouldn’t move. He started to cry, and woke up in the middle of the night, his face drenched in tears. -- He continued with his restless night, whenever he closed his eyes, all he could see was white Fluttershy, black eyed, bleeding and hanging herself. When Fluttershy finally woke up, he ran to her and hugged her. “I had a nightmare, which was super creepy. Apparently, I was dead, everyone looked creepy, and I watched you hang yourself!” Ash started crying, and he held Fluttershy even closer. “There, there Ash, it’s okay, it was just a nightmare. Calm down…” said Fluttershy soothingly. “Everything is going to be alright.” “Yeah, you’re right. I-I’m sorry for overreacting like that…” replied Ash. “Let’s eat breakfast.” -- After their breakfast of toast and tea, Ash continued looking out the window. Then, Gary walked up next to him. “Gary? How did you get here?” “Never mind that, Ash, I just have to do something that I’ve wanted to do for a while…” replied Gary, as he blushed like crazy. Gary moved closer, and closer, backing Ash into a corner. “G-Gary? What the bu-” Before Ash could speak, Gary kissed him on the lips. Ash stood there, eyes widened by confusion. WHY THE BUCK IS GARY DOING THIS! He thought. He hadn’t ever had any attraction to Gary whatsoever, because Gary was a dick. Gary finally pulled away, blushing and said, “I’m sorry if that made you uncomfortable. I had to do that at least once.” He galloped off, leaving Ash utterly confused. It was his first kiss. Gary Motherbucking Oak stole his first kiss! And neither Ash nor Gary noticed that Fluttershy saw the whole thing. -- Fluttershy was in tears, was she going to lose her crush to a colt? There was only one thing for it! She was going to get advice from the Princess of Love herself! She grabbed some pretty paper and started her letter. Dear Princess Candance, I have become quite taken by a certain colt, and would love to make him my coltfriend. I was going to confess my feelings to him in Canterlot, but I caught him being kissed by another colt! Can you please teach me to become the most desirable mare he has ever laid eyes on? Sincerely, Fluttershy. Fluttershy spoke to the engineer, who happened to be a magic pony. He sent it to Canterlot, and Fluttershy got a reply telling her to go tho the castle once in Canterlot. After lunch, Ash and Fluttershy were informed that it would be another 5 minutes to Canterlot.
