A young boy finds Flurry Heart and decides to raise her.
One day, a young 7 year old kid named Nicky was riding his bike back from school. However, he finds a strange baby horse in the woods and decides to take care of it. However, he's a bit to young raise a baby Alicorn foal.
Our Story begins in the month of June in Tahoe City, California. Nicky Scott is a young 7 year old boy. He likes the place where he lives. He likes to go down to Lake Tahoe with his friends after school. When the water is to cold. He likes to go into the nearby forest alone. His dad doesn't know that as they don't get home until later. Nicky is a very likable kid, often helping others and his really good at school. However he does get picked on some times. But he just ignores his bullies most of the times. Anyway, let's get to the story
2:50 pm
"Alright class dismissed", said Nicky's second grade teacher.
Just like that, the kids packed everything up and set out, Nicky and his best friends Leonardo, or Leo for short. and Marcus.
Leo is from Italy and had moved to the US one year prior after his dad found a job in Tahoe. Marcus is an African-American kid who likes to play it safe a lot. He lives next to Nicky. He also knows a lot about equines.
"So do you guys know what the word Porn means", asked Leo.
"Porn,i don't think so", replied Nicky.
"yeah, i don't know either", said Marcus.
"Why did you ask that Leo", asked Nicky.
"I heard some of the older kids from the highschool near our neighborhood talking about it", he replied.
"Intresting", said Nicky.
After the quick conversation, the friends left, Leo takes the bus while Marcus gets picked up by his parents. Nicky went to the bike racks and got on his bike. It was a green colored bike with some breaks and a small bell on it. The bike even had a small light on it in case he was riding in the dark.
"Forest time", Nicky said with excitement.
After a few minutes of biking down the street. He entered the dense forest.
"The woods are so nice and calm here. I'm glad I live near by.
Another reason why Nicky loved being in the woods was because he would always find something new. The day before he found an abandoned cabin, two weeks ago he found his dads old T shirt from his high school years. When he entered the forest for the first time, He found a flintlock pistol. luckly he didn't keep it. Nicky happily road his bike down the old dusty trail. He made sure to look out for bears and mountain lions. One time his older brother almost got attacked by a bear in those woods, Nicky always wants to make sure that doesn't happen to him.
"it's so peaceful and quiet here"Said Nicky happily. However his Silence would be interupted by a strange noise.
"huh", He said rather confused.
Nicky could here the sound of a baby crying.
"It can't be a baby", Nicky thought to himself. "Or could it".
As he continued, the crying got louder and louder. Now he knew there was a baby near by.
"I need to find that baby", Nicky said with courage as he got off his bike and ventured into the woods.
"Don't worry baby i'm comming", he said.
The cries got louder and louder. He was getting closer and closer. Then, he saw it.
"I'm here little......ba......by",
Nicky was surprised at the babies look. It was a baby horse with wings and a horn, it was cute but kinda strange. It's mane and tail color was purple and blue. It also had a Pinkish white coat and wore a blue diaper.
"what are you" said Nicky.
The baby stopped looking at him and cooed, it trotted up to him slowly.
"Ummm hi there", Nicky said as he bent over. He carefully pet the foal. It seemed to enjoy it and giggled.
"Your kinda cute", Nicky said. What's your name.
But of course the foal was to young to talk and stayed silent.
"I should have known", He said. Then he saw a cracked baby bottle next to the spot the baby was, it had words on it. So he decided to read that.
"Flurry Heart, that must be your name", He asked. Flurry nuzzled his knee.
"I'm gonna have to take you home with me, there could be something dangerous out here.
Just as Nicky said that. He saw a Mountain Lion in the distance, he panicked and picked up Flurry Heart.
"Like that crazy thing", Nicky shouted as he ran to his bike. The Mountain lion picked up speed.
"It's okay little one" Nicky said as he tried to calm down the alicorn foal. Nicky got on the bike and started to peddle the hell out of there.
"oh no oh no oh no oh no", Nicky said in complete fear.
Flurry began to cry again. The Mountain Lion was getting closer and closer by the second. Nicky tried to go faster but throwing some stuff out of his back pack. He carefully unzipped his backpack and through some stuff that the Mountain lion. He through his leftovers from his lunch, his eraser, and his notebook. That didn't doanything to slow the Mountain lion down. Flurry Heart became more and more uneasy.
"It's okay Flurry I'm here for you. He said as he tried to calm his new discovery safe.
"Where almost out of the woods Flurry, we just got to-
The chain's on his bike had snapped.
"oh no" His bike slowed down and tipped over. Flurry was okay.
The Mountain lion looked at the two, It was getting ready to rib the human and baby pony to shreads.
"Please don't kill us" Nicky said. He did not care if he died, he cared that the foal he found was mulled to death by this beast. Then I notested the horn on Flurry's head began to glow.
"How is that happening", Nicky was worried about what would happen next. Her horn glew brighter and brighter.
"Oh no", said Nicky.
She let out a magic beam that hit the Mountain lion. The mountain lion slowly morphed into a domesticated house cat.
"meow", went the cat as it walked away.
Nicky looked down at the foal.
"How did you do that", said Nicky, clearly shocked at what happened
After nearly being eaten by a mountain lion, Nicky was returning home with a baby pony in one hand and a busted bike in the other.
"just a few more minutes Flurry, then we'll be home." He said as he walked down the sidwalk. A few minutes later, they arrived at Nicky's house.
"we're here.'' Said Nicky. "Now to figure out what to do."
He opened the door, his pet Pomeranian Buster greeted him by barking and tugging his legs.
"Hello buster, your such a good boy." Said Nicky. Flurry looked down at the poofy dog. She cooed and giggled and jumped down to play with him. Buster smelled her and got excited. Nicky watched the two as they ran around the house.
"Oh no, be careful Flurry." Nicky said a bit worried.
He was right to be worried, as Flurry got so excited a beam shot out of her horn. Scaring Nicky
"AHHHHHHH"
The beam shattered a bowl and scarred Buster, he fled under the couch for safety.
".....My dad's gonna be pissed." Nicky said as he looked at the broken pieces of the bowl. He quickly picked up the broken pieces and through it out.
"I hope dad doesn't find out." he said.
Flurry Heart flew up to him, wanting something to eat.
"Are you hungary?" Nicky asked. Flurry clapped her hooves as a way to say yes.
"ummmm okay." Nicky went to the kitchen and gave her a piece of bread. Flurry didn't want it and turned her head away.
"You don't want the bread?"
She pouted and used her magic to throw the bread at his face.
"Don't do that!" Nicky said firmily. "I'll get you something else."
Nicky thought giving her a bag of chips would be good for her.
"Now these are really popular, so your bound to like it."
Flurry once again didn't want that. She through the bag at a painting, luckily it didn't break it.
"Be careful." Nicky said with some anger in his voice. Flurry spit her tongue at him. Nicky groans and tried to get something else.
"What about a banana"
Flurry once again through it, it flew out the window while Marcus was in his backyard when he saw the banana nearly hit him.
"What the heck was that" He said confused.
He heard Nicky sounding angry and talking to someone.
"Why won't you EAT ANYTHING." Just then, Marcus' voice was heard on a walkie talkie.
"Hey dude, what's going on"
Nicky picked it up.
"Dude, get over here, I need your help."
Marcus was confused for why he sounded so crazy, but he came over.
"What is it." Marcus asked.
"It's that thing right there."
Nicky pointed to the couch where he put Flurry, only Flurry wasn't there.
"Is this some kind of joke."
"No it's not I swear." Nicky replied.
"Then what did you want me to see."
Just then, Flurry had teleported back into the room.
"What the heck." Said Marcus.
Flurry simply cooed and giggled before falling asleep on the couch.
"See Marcus, I told you there was something strange going on."
Marcus looked at the baby pony.
"Okay, this is some kind of filly" Said Marcus.
"What the heck is a filly" Replied Nicky.
"Ponies and horses are called foals when there young, a boy foal is called a colt while a girl foal is called a filly" Marcus explained.
"Well this foal has wings and a horn." Nicky pointed out.
"How weird, I have never seen a pony like this in real life before, Only in fairytales."
Nicky looked at Flurry, she sneezed and let out a beam.
Nicky and and Marcus ducked in cover.
"Okay, other than the ability for the foal to shoot beams at us. Taking care of it shouldn't be that hard, we just need supplies." Marcus said.
"Well I don't think we have enough money to get supplies." Said Nicky.
Just then, Nicky's older 17 year old older brother Seth arrived home. Nicky and Marcus quickly hid Flurry Heart.
"Hey Little bro, get in the car, We have to get stuff at the store" Seth explained. It gave Nicky and idea."
"I have some stuff to add to the list, it's for a project at school"
"Really, what are they". He asked
"Diapers, baby food, baby powder, baby shampoo, baby toys, and a baby bottle......"
"Um, why" Seth was left confused.
"A project for school" Nicky was sounding very suspicious.
"Well, alright fine" Seth said.
Nicky sighed in relief, Marcus left the house. But now Nicky had to some how bring Flurry with him without her being scene.
In the Crystal palace, two ponies were worried about there missing offspring. the first pony was a male unicorn with white fur and a blue mane and tail. Along with a mark on his flank that looked like a shield, he was trying to calm down his worried wife.
"Look honey, I know your really scared and sad. But we're going to find her"
His wife was taller then him, she was an alicorn with pink fur and a violet mane and tail with rose and gold streaks. She also had had a mark on her flank that looked like a heart shaped diamond.
"How are supposed to do that." She said with tears "Sombra could we with her."
The White unicorn sighed and said "We can't give up Cadance. She's our daughter and we're trying to do everything in our power to bring her back, trust me dear."
Back on Earth
Nicky sat in the back seat, he looked in the small box he had put her in, she looked up at him.
"Don't come out of that box understand little one." he whispered.
As they got closer the store, Seth started to talk to Nicky.
"So, what is this project for" He asked.
"Well, in my class we have been learning how to take care of a baby, our teachers are giving us these dolls the must take take of for the day."
"How strange, I did a project like that once but I did it in middle school." Seth said "Are you sure it wasn't a different kind of project."
"I'm sure." Nicky said, "The teacher has been said it about 10 times in the last week."
"Well okay then."
The car pulled into the safeway parking lot, Nicky carefully picked up the box Flurry Heart was in. Seth assumed the box was we're Nicky would keep all the baby supplies. As they walked in the store, Nicky looked into to box.
"Okay, we're gonna get your supplies and then we're out of here okay, do not leave this box"
Soon, they got all the food they needed, then they wen't to get the baby supplies.
"So you need diapers, baby food, baby powder, baby wipes, baby shampoo, baby toys, and a baby bottle?" Seth asked.
"yup that's what we need." He said"
So just like that they got the stuff they needed. But then, Nicky looked in the box and was shocked to see that Flurry was gone.
"What, we're are you" He shouted.
"I'm right here little bro, what do you need"
"Oh um, nothing Seth" Nicky said, he had to go look for Flurry but it would be hard for him as he still needed to hide the truth from his brother. He needed a distraction, luckily there was.
"isn't that your girlfriend over there."
Seth turned to see his girlfriend Greta Smith, a British girl whom Seth was dating
"Greta"
"Seth, is that you."
"Yeah it's me, jsut doing some shopping for my father."
As Seth was talking. Nicky went to go look for the crazy baby horse.
"Where are you Flurry."
On the other side of the store, Flurry was in the backed goods area of the store, we're the bread and baked goods we're. like cookies, doughnuts, bread, bagel's, cupcakes and muffins. Flurry has happily eating some blueberry muffins until a worker saw her.
"Hey what the hell you think your doing you, whatever you are" Flurry quickly teleported away when he tried to grab her. Just then, Nicky got there and saw the mess.
"What happened?"
"Some baby horse with wings and a horn ate all these muffins. I tried to grab it but it just teleported or something like that.
Nicky continued his search. Flurry was now in an isle with breakfast food, she started knocking down cereal boxes and used her magic to lift up other things like pop tarts and through them at shoppers. A worker saw and stopped her.
"What are you and why are you doing this"
Flurry flew away, Nicky looked down the isle and saw the mess.
"Oh no, she must have been here" Nicky quickly ran to find her. Nicky went in the back we're all the groceries were stacked and taken to be put in there spots. And herd angry workers yelling "Go away horse thing" and other things one shouted. "Go away you little shit"
Nicky quickly ran and saw Flurry messing with some workers we're yelling at her.
"Stop making a mess you little brat" one shouted as Flurry through stuff at them.
"Flurry" Nicky shouted.
Flurry flew down happily and nuzzled him, the workers gave a death stare at Nicky. Nicky made a nervous chuckle and slowly left the room with Flurry in his hands.
Seth was still talking with Greta.
"So Seth I took a picture of a strange horse I saw driving here." Greta told him.
"Really." said Seth
"yeah." Said Greta, she showed him the picture on her phone. Behind a car there was a grey unicorn with a black mane and tail it, it also had red eyes and fangs.
"That is one creepy looking horse." Seth said
Nicky quickly ran back with Flurry in the box.
"Hey little bro, it's time to go home."
"Perfect," said Nicky.
Seth said bye to Greta. They quickly checked out and left the store. In the car, Nickly looked down at the crazy baby pony.
After a quick drive home, Nicky took Flurry in his room. He sat in his bed and tried not to think about what his new pet or child or whatever he would call it had wreaked havoc at the store by watching some videos on his ipad.
"Crazy baby pony" Nicky thought to himself. "Why can't she behave."
Flurry started to bite at his shorts, Nicky didn't like that.
"Cut it out." Nicky said in an annoyed tone.
Later, Nicky heard the front door open. In came Nicky's father, Robin Scott.
"Boys, i'm home." He said.
Robin was 39 years old. His wife had sadly died when she gave birth to Nicky, Robin was 22 when Seth was born and 32 when Nicky was born. He works at the California State Railroad Museum in Sacramento two hours away. He had began making dinner. Nicky looked out of the room a bit worried.
"Okay Flurry, you are not allowed to leave this room for the rest of the night, Understand."
Flurry didn't understand and just started sucking on her hoof. a few minutes later, dinner was ready.
"Boys dinner." Shouted Nicky's father. He and Seth went down stairs, His dad made some Spaghetti for dinner.
"So how was school today boys." Robin asked.
"School was great." replied Seth. "I passed my history exam today."
"Really." Robin replied. "That's great to her, what about you Nicky.''
"Oh um, school was fine no trouble." He replied.
"Alright then." Robin replied as they ate there food. After some time, dinner time was over and Nicky returned to check on is "daughter" or "pet" or whatever you want to call it.
"Alright Flurry, I'm back and i'll be staying up here with you for the rest of the night okay."
Flurry made a noise that sounded like she was trying to say okay, Nicky sat on his bed and put on a Disney movie.
30 minutes later
While Nicky thought his stressful day with Flurry Heart would have been over.,Flurry Heart began to cry
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
"What the, Flurry what's wrong?" Of course Nicky got no answer, just more crying
"Um, are you hungry." He said, Flurry stop crying when hearing that.
"I'll take it as a yes."
Nicky opened up a pack of mashed peas.
"Open wide."
However, Flurry knocked the spoon out of his hand
"Hey!"
Flurry giggled
"Don't do that?" He said, he tried to feed her again. But she flip the spoon back and got the food in his face.
Nicky grumbled as he wiped the gooey mashed peas off of his face.
"For the last time, don't do that."
Once again, Flurry did not behave and made the spoon levitate and point to him.
"Flurry what are you do-
Flurry shoved the mashed peas in Nicky's mouth. The taste was horrible. Nicky gagged and ran to the bathroom where he threw up in the toilet.
"EW EW EW EW EW EWWWWW." He said. Nicky then brushed his teeth so hard they started to bleed, after his gross and painful experience. Nicky went back to Flurry.
1 hour later
Nicky's father came up to tuck his son in, Nicky hid Flurry under his sheets so his dad would not see her.
"So son, I won't be here until you go to bed tomorrow." Told Robin.
"Why?" asked Nicky.
"I have to make a small trip down to San Francisco after work. I'll be back when you wake up though."
"Okay dad."
Robin turned off the lights and closed the door. Nicky looked at Flurry, who fell asleep.
"Sleep tight." Nicky said
10:00PM
Nicky was woken up from an awful smell.
"Why does it smell like a big fart." Nicky wondered. Flurry had also woken up. Nicky then knew what that smell was.
"Did you....dirty your diaper."
Nicky then got her up. Gagging from the horrible smell. He layed Flurry down on his carpet and undid the diaper.
"Oh god how can something so small make so much of something so disgusting." He said to himself.
After removing her soiled undergarent. He quickly cleaned her off and put a new diaper on her before going to throw the dirty one away, he returned to the bedroom and tried to go back to bed.
12:00AM
While sleeping, he woke up from a loud crashing sound, he shout out of his bed.
"Huh what was that." He looked around and saw that Flurry had gone through his toy shelf and knocked a bunch of his toys down."
"Flurry why."
Flurry cooed as Nicky picked her up and put her in the bed.
"Do NOT get out of bed."
Nicky carefully put all his toys back on the shelf. After that he returned to bed.
"Please, do not do that again."
3:00AM
Nicky had gone through three hours of sleep. But then, Flurry just gad to ruin it. He was woken up again by the TV Turning on
"Oh come on." Nicky said as he saw that Flurry had used the remote with her magic."
"Give that back." He yanked the remote and turned the TV off, instead of crying, Flurry waited til Nicky fell asleep A few minutes later. Nicky was woken up again.
"I said no TV." He said as he turned it off again.
Flurry didn't like this, next time she had a plan.
"He was once again woken up by the TV."
"Why don't you listen to me."
He tried to turn the TV off, but it wouldn't
"Huh?"
He clicked the button a few more times, but nothing.
"What did you do Flurry."
Nicky then saw that the batteries we're not in the remote.
"Where are the batteries."
Flurry shook her head and pointed to the tv, Nicky knew what the foal was trying to say. No batteries until he let her watch TV
"Fine you win."
5:02AM
After more then two hours, Flurry fell asleep. Nicky found the batteries and put them in the remote.
"Why me." Nicky grumbled as he tried to fall asleep.
