A Holiday Shock

Loneliness. Sadness. Betrayed.

Those were only three words that Sunset could say how she felt as she walked in the cold streets of canterlot. It was just so hard for her to Believe just about a week ago she was celebrating christmas with her friends. The five girls who were there for her, who helped pull her into a new life, who treated her like family. But now they, like everyone else at CHS, had turned their backs on her because they believed she had returned to her old ways again, through a Mystable user named Anon-a-Miss who was spreading secrets around the site like candy.

She felt her phone vibrating, meaning another post was out, she didn’t bother taking out her phone and looking at it, knowing it was just another reason for everyone to Unjustly hate her. But that too wouldn't change anything.

Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie, Fluttershy, Rainbow. Why?’ Sunset wondered for the umpteenth time as tears slowly trickled down her face. How could they abandon her like this? They promised they’d always be there for each other. Did they honestly forget all they've been through since the Fall Formal to the Sirens at the battle bands? Or… were what they promised just empty words. She thought that she finally had the family she never had back in Equestria. As she was crossing the road Sunset thought back to the day she and Applejack were talking about the holidays and how she was never really close to her family. ‘Probably because I never had a family.’

She stopped in the middle of the street as she thought back to her days growing up at Canterlot. She was only a four year old filly when she was found in the royal guardians of princess Celestia, she didn’t remember anything before Celestia found her and brought her to her castle. She learned much later that she was diagnosed with Amnesia so even though she did family she couldn’t even remember any names. All she did remember were the words to a song and part of her name which was just “Sun”. When Celestia took her in as her pupil and named her Sunset, she was the only pony Sunset ever considered a mother. She had raised her, took care of her, taught her and she repaid her kindness by running away and saying:

This is the biggest Mistake you’ll ever make.”

But she was wrong. That wasn’t the biggest mistake Celestia ever made.

That was the biggest mistake she ever made.

“I’m so sorry, princess.” She whimpered, wishing she could just go back in time, tell herself not turn her back on Celestia and maybe then non of this would ever have happened. She had written to Princess Twilight what had happened, but she had yet write back. She was worried if Twilight was too busy to answer or if she actually cared to reply. 'Stop thinking like that! Twilight would care about what's happening!' She told herself mentally, but right now she would've loved a hug from the princess or anyone else who would care about her.

She looked to the sky, and saw some shooting stars, she than remember stories that if you make a wish on a shooting star before it disappeared it would come true. Now normally she wouldn't believe that superstitious nonsense but right now, feeling so alone and sad she was willing to take any chance to take it away and have the one thing she always wanted. So she closed her eyes brought her hands together and whispered, "Starlight, star bright, first star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish a I wish tonight." She then looked up and spoke her wish as she saw a star race across the night sky, "I wish to finally have a real family."

She waited. and waited for something, anything or anyone to show up and grant her wish.

But there was nothing.

Nothing but Si-

*HONK-HONK*

She was brought out of her thoughts when she whipped around and saw a black and red striped sports car heading straight for her. She listened to her instincts and made a duck and roll to the other side, narrowly missing getting hit while also bumping her head on the pavement. She laid on the ground as a young man, wearing a black winter coat and who looked to be around her age stepped out of the car and held a phone looking like he was talking to someone over it. She couldn’t make out most of what he said as she drifted out of consciousness, but she did hear him say one thing as pulled out what looked like a picture before she blacked out. His voice seemed told some form of Familiarity to her.

Sunray?

Helios Shine, a 17 year old young man with white tinged with pink skin, red and orange fiery hair, wearing black winter coat and driving his car was feeling very...grumpy. His mom Golden Shine had made him go in the freezing cold to collect the groceries for their family’s Christmas dinner this weekend while his little 10 year old sister Honeyglow was sitting warm and cozy in their manor. He exhaled through his nose, while he did love his family they were a bit of a handful, His mom was a famous fashion model in the city and his Dad Flame Heart was captain of the police department in Canterlot. They were also a bit overprotective after what happened to…he pulled out a picture from his jacket that showed him as five year old and another girl about four and he frowned as he rubbed his thumb on her picture.

“Miss you sis.” He said as he put the picture back and thought about his little sister Sunray, he was only a kid when she suddenly disappeared when his dad took them to the park, he was too young to understand but it still hurt him. He was pulled out his remiancing when he heard his phone ringing. He picked up his phone and saw it was his mom calling. He pressed the speaker and spoke, “Hey Mom, just got the groceries done, I’m heading home now.”

Oh good, now hurry back home. Your dad said he’ll be back before dinner.”

“Yeah, yeah sure.” He replied, sounding like he focused on something else and his mom could tell he was.

Helios, is something wrong?” His mom asked in concern.

“No, Just thinking about...her.”

Oh,” Was all he heard, he figured his mom was also thinking about that day.

He remembered how heartbroken his mom when him and his dad were the only ones who came back home. As he grew up, he, his dad had helped get through it, and the pain had healed more when Honeyglow was born but the loss of a daughter could never be something fully healed from.

“She’d probably love to eat your Rudolph red truffles.” He said with a sad smile.

Heh, yes she always did love those.” His mom chuckled, having that memory cheer her up slightly. But soon she released a sigh, “I still can believe she’s gone.

“Mom, I know it's been a long time since that day but maybe she could still be out there.”

Son, I wish that could be true but for your sister to be alive it would take a Miracle.” She told him.

“Well Christmas is famous for Miracles.” He joked as he rounded a corner before he decided to change the subject with his and Honeyglow's new school, “So tomorrow me and Honey start at my school, hope it’s a lot better than Crystal Prep.” He scowled at the mention of his old stuffy school but smiled as he remembered another thought, “By the way are Twi and her folks still invited?”

His mother giggled, “Yes they are, and Tia and Lully are coming too,” Helios smiled at the mention of the two women, they used to babysit him and Sunray when his parents were too busy, they were practically family. “I still wish you would just ask her out already, I know two you would make quite a Family~.

“MOM!” Helios exclaimed as he blushed while his mom laughed over the phone.

I’m just messing with Helios, still you should man up and tell her how you feel.” His Mom answered before his phone just popped up a notification about another post From Anon-a-Miss on Mystable, he groaned. “Great Anon-a-Miss is doing it again.”

At the mention of that name his mom went into ‘protective mother’ mode, “well on that note son you should be careful at CHS, Tia told me this Anon-a-Miss and how she’s been posting embarrassing secrets about the students there, I don't want anyone there giving you a hard time.

Helios rolled his eyes as he took them off the road for a minute and scoffed, “Come on mom, Do you really think some bully on a social media site is gonna keep me d-WHOA!” He stopped himself as he saw someone standing in the middle of the road!

He honked his horn, before hitting the brakes as his car screeched to a halt, the person had jumped out of the way just in time before the car to come to a stop and landed on the ground. Helios breathed a sigh of relief and wiped his forehead, thankful he stopped just in time.

Helios are you okay?!” His Mom shouted through the phone.

“Yeah I’m fine but I almost hit someone on the road.” He explained as he stepped out his car.

Oh Dear! Are they alright?” His mom asked.

“Yeah, I think so. She jumped out of the way just in ti-” He trailed off when he got a closer look at the girl.

Hello? Helios are you still there?” his mom asked.

“Uh mom? I gotta go, I’ll see you back at home.” He answered back before he hung up. As he walked closer to the mysterious girl who seemed to look very familiar, “Could it be? No it can be, can it?”

He saw the girl looked to be at least a year younger than him, she had red and yellow striped hair, yellow skin and as her eye flickered open and close he saw her eyes were a blueish green. All those traits were all too familiar to Helios; he pulled out his picture of him and Sunray and compared her to the girl lying before him. His eyes widened in shock despite the obvious age difference the two were practically Identical. He looked back to the girl, “Sunray?”

He then noticed the girl's eyes had closed, he rushed over and checked her pulse, he was relieved to see she was just unconscious but he was also greatly confused, ‘How is this possible?’ he thought, ‘She’s been missing for 12 years and just now she pops up? Heh, guess fate wanted to give me a real surprise tonight’ he joked before he noticed it was getting colder, he looked down at his supposed sister and knew what he had to do, “Your coming with me Sunny.”

He then picked up the teenage girl, carried her back to his car, he then placed her in the backseat next to the grocery, buckled her up, got into his driver’s seat, started the car and drove off back home. As he drove the car through the cold air of the city he turned to the still unconscious Sunray and chuckled, “Mom and dad are in for a big early Christmas present, huh sis?” He then turned back to the road and headed for home.

A Family Reunited

The Shine's resident Was a large yet cozy two story house located on in middle of town, with a balcony over the front door painted golden yellow with red roofs and white doors to compliment the family who lived there. The front lawn and roofs were covered by white blanket of snow, but an amber skinned woman in a purple coat, her red hair braided over shoulder, waited by the door outside for her son and husband to return home, safe and sound while her daughter was playing in the living room.

Golden Shine had come far in her modelling career. She practically on the cover of every fashion magazine in Canterlot, with the fortune she earned from her modelling she was able to afford her and her family a nice house in the city. But while her career did keep her busy she always managed to make time for her lovely family, she first met her husband Flame when he was still a rookie cop and he protect her from a pair of muggers. After that she and him worked around their careers, started dating, got married and had two of the most wonderful children, her son Helios Shine and her daughter...

She glanced downwards in sadness as she pulled out a locket from her coat and she opened it. On the left side was the picture of a little red haired, pinkish white skinned boy and on the right a girl's who's hair style resembled her own but had yellow stripes in it and aquatic green eyes. She rubbed her finger on the girl's picture as a lone tear slid down her cheek.

"My little Sunray." She whispered. It had been 12 years since her little girl had disappeared and had not been easy. Fortunately her husband, her son, siblings and friends helped her through it, and a few years after she had given birth to a new baby girl she named Honeyglow who had been told about Sunray and while she still didn't fully understand, she still comforted her mom when she needed it. She long since accepted that Sunray was probably dead, but she remember what Helios had said to her earlier. 'Could she really still be out there?' She thought, but immediately denied it, not wanting to get her hopes up she just looked on to the snowy road hoping to see a black and red car coming around the bend.

"Come on Helios, don't make me lose you too." She muttered worryingly. But her worries were put to rest when she saw her son's car roll on the drive way, she smiled and quickly walked across the road to meet her son and gave him a great big hug, "Oh Helios! I was so worried about you after you hanged up!" She said squeezing her son tightly, not even noticing his face was turning a bit blue.

"Mom! Too tight! Can't breathe! Ouch!" Helios squeaked. Golden noticed this and loosen her grip but didn't let go completely, "Thank you."

Golden chuckled, "Sorry son, I was just didn't want to lose you too, so close to Christmas." she felt a pair of arms wrap around her.

"I know." Helios said softly, as the two seperated he gestured to his car, "I got all the groceries but I also picked up a little surprise on the way back." Golden raised a brow when she noticed the way he said surprise.

"What sort of surprise?" She asked her son but he just gestured for her to open the door.

"See for yourself."

Golden opened the the car door and saw sitting next to the groceries was an unconscious teenage girl, her eyes widened at the girl before turning around and glared at her son "Helios! You brought a complete stranger back to our home!?" She yelled at him as he winced and took a few steps back, "What were you thinking?! The young lady's parents must be worry-"

"M-Mom just look closer. Notice anything familiar about her." Helios said, Golden looks back at the girl more closely and notices that she shared her amber skin and shockingly had a head familiar fiery red and yellow hair. Her scowl dropped completely and her eyes widened as she pulled out her locket and looked back and forth between Sunray's picture and the girl in the car. She finally set her gaze on the girl and realizes who she is. "Oh my god."

She takes few steps back.

She couldn't believe it.

After all these years of thinking her little girl was dead, here she was. Alive.

"Mom? You, you okay?" Helios asked, feeling a little uneasy by his mother's silence. Golden stood there for a few seconds before she turned to her son with serious expression, "You get the groceries. I've got Sunray." Heilos nodded and went to the other side of the car.

Golden then took Sunray into her arms bridal style and as her son held some the groceries she carried her to the front. She looked down at the girl in her arms, very surprised to know that this teenager was her little girl, yet she was so proud to see her Sunray grow into such a beautiful young lady and smiled down at her, "My how you've grown my little sunshine." she said as she and her son enter their warm and cozy home.

Honeyglow, a young pale yellow skin girl with reddish orange was sitting on a couch in her family's living room drawing a new picture with her toys next to her. The walls were painted peach, had pictures of her, her parents and her big brother having fun, at parties, visiting the police station or at one of her mommy's photoshoots hanging on them. On the brown wooded floor there brown leather couches and chairs next the walls and in the corners and in front of the couch she was sitting on was a flat screen tv with her brother's gaming consoles, more pictures and other things on the table underneath it. She was happily playing while her brother had to run errands for the family Christmas dinner coming up and waited for him and her daddy to come home, and she gladly passed time by doing some doddles and showing them to her toys.

"See, these shadows Grace? Just trace them like so and you can see how easy they blend." She said to a brown haired doll on her left as she pointed parts of her picture to it.

"Oh and Toby don't you worry. There'll be plenty of color in this picture." She assured the teddy on her right. As she continued to draw she thought about the new school she and her brother were going to. While she was a little unsure about going to new school, she was happy to know that they allowed middle school kids at Canterlot High, that way she could be with her big brother. She was looking forward to seeing Mrs. Celestia and Mrs. Luna there too, the two women had been close to her family since she was a baby, they use to babysit her and Helios when they were little and now they were gonna be their new principal and vice-principal.

She then heard footsteps as her brother came in with groceries and took them to the kitchen while her mother came in carrying a teenage girl that kinda looked like her. She raised a brow as her mother climbed up the stairs with the girl. Curiosity peaked as she got up and took Grace and Toby with here and followed her mom upstairs. She found her mom walking into her bedroom while her mom laid the girl down on the king sized bed after she took off he jacket, put her bag next to the side table and place a brown journal with red and yellow sun symbol on the cover next to the lamp and pull the covers over the girl.

Honey walked over to the girl and noticed that despite the yellow stripes and fiery appearance, the girl really did look a lot like her mom. She then notice her mom looked at the girl with somber look and gently brushed her hair. She moved closer to her mom and asked, "Mommy, who is this?" Her question seemed have made her mother realized she and the girl weren't alone. Golden turned to her younger child and smiled, "Someone who I thought your daddy and I thought was lost forever a long time ago." she said.

"Someone lost a long time ago," Honey repeated confusedly, before she looked back at the girl before it hit her like a ton of bricks. Though she only seen pictures of her as 4 year old the color of her hair and the resemblance to her mom was enough to make realize who she was. She turned to her mom with a still surprised expression. "Mommy, is-is she..."

Golden held her younger daughter shoulder, "My sweet Honey, meet your big sister, Sunray Shine." She said as Honeyglow stared at the girl, unable to believe that this was her supposed big sister. She was told about Sunray when she got older and how she strangely disappeared when she, Helios and her dad went to the park. They had told her she was probably, seeing her now asleep but alive was quite overwhelming. But once she shook her head a bit she looked at the girl and smiled as she hopped onto the bed, crawled over to the girl and smiled at her. "Hey big sis, it's nice to finally meet you." she whispered to the sleeping Sunray as her mother chuckled.

"So it's true then." A voice from the door way said. Honey and Golden turned to see Helios and standing next to him was his and his sisters' father and Golden's Flame Heart. The man had Goldish yellow hair, silver skin and wearing a dark blue police officer suit. He had an astonished look on his face as walked over next to his wife and looked down to the girl in bed gently stroked her cheek, "After all this time, I thought we lost you forever but now," He trailed off as wiped a few tears from his eyes and smiled. This surprised Honey as she never saw her daddy shed a tear before.

Flame turned to his Helios and Honey, "You two go downstairs and get something to eat, your mother and I will call you up when Sunray wakes up." Honey was about to protest when Helios grabbed her shoulder and shook his head telling her to leave them be. Honey sighed and nodded as she and Helios left the bedroom as the two adults were left with there sleeping long lost daughter.

Sunset wasn't sure what happening or if this was real. But what she did know was that she had to move.

"Where am I..." She said looking around her.

Everywhere she turned all she saw was black. She wasn't sure which way to go at first but then she saw something a brilliant white light, it shined so bright she felt she had to cover her eyes from it but instead she felt drawn to it so she decided to move towards the light. "May as well be my only way out."

She walked closer and closer the light as glowed even brighter but she didn't block her vision from it. Soon she was in reach of the light, she took a few steps closer to the light, she hesitantly reached s hand to the light before it suddenly burst out causing her to shut her eyes

When she opened them again she discovered she was in cozy hallway she turned left and right in confusion. for some reason though the room seemed to hold some form of familiarity to her, "What the...? Why am I?" She asked before she heard something.

🎵 "Sun goes down and we are here together,"🎵

It sounded like... singing. Singing the same song she remembered when she was found in Celestia garden and it was sung by a voice that seemed to make her feel safe.

🎵 "Fireflies glow like a thousand charms,"🎵

She turned to see the crying came from a the door behind her, walked cautiously towards the and pushed in open. Inside she saw the walls were dark blue with yellow fireflies and stars painted on them, she saw toys and plushies that littered the floor and a wooded crib. Finally she turned to the source of the song.

🎵"Stay with me and you can dream forever,
Right here in my arms tonight."🎵

There sitting in a rocking chair was a red haired woman in a yellow robe, holding small baby wrapped in white blanket singing a lullaby. Sunset walked closer to see them as the mother continue to hum to her child but stop where she was when she got a look at the baby.

It was a baby girl with yellow skin and soft red and yellow striped hair. She looked like a baby version of herself, in fact it was her. "W-Wha, but how she."

Then Sunset realized that the woman had stopped humming and turned to see her hair style was very similar to her own.

"Who, who are you?" She asked with a hint of nervousness

She turned her to Sunset with her eyes still closed and she saw her skin was yellow too but a bit paler. Sunset breath also hitched when she saw the woman face looked almost like her own.

But before she could finish that thought, she saw the mysterious woman was about open her eyes, another bright light flashed and blinded Sunset again as everything faded to white.

Sunset groaned as her eyes fluttered open as she woke up from her rather vivid dream. She looked up to see a ceiling over her, confused as groggily sat up she saw that she was in room she didn't recognized there was dark brown furniture against honey yellow walls and pictures she couldn't see very well. Once she realized what was happening she started whipping her head every whichway panickily, "W-what's going on?! Where am I?! What is this-"

"Whoa, whoa! It's sweetheart, your somewhere safe now!" A feminine voice said interrupting her.

Sunset froze at the sound of that voice for it was same voice she heard in her dream, that voice that held a sense of safety and love that felt very familiar to her.

Sunset slowly turned her head to see a silver skinned man with blonde hair and a policeman suit and next to him with a nervous expression was the very same woman from her dream. In her heart Sunset felt something that told her to hold these two close and never let go but she pushed that feeling aside for the time being and asked the first question that came to her head, "Who, who are you?"

The man and woman looked at her in surprise with a hint of hurt before they looked at one each other. It was almost as if they knew her, while she didn't know them. The couple turned back to her, "S-Sunray, don't you recognize us?" The woman asked in concern.

Sunset raised a brow. Sunray? Why did she call her that? Did she just resemble someone else who had that name and they just mistook her for that girl? If so then why did name sound so familiar Deciding to answer she turn herself around completely, pulled her legs off the bed and sat on the bed as she spoke again, "I'm sorry ma'am but my name is Sunset Shimmer."

The woman looked worried and more concern at that before the man whispered something into her ear. The woman listen careful before her eye widened with realization, "Oh right, she probably wouldn't remember." she said to him as he nodded.

"Perhaps you should say something to job her memory?" The man suggested.

Sunset watched as the woman put on a thinking face, before a smile came to her and nodded as she turned back to her, "Um, Ms. Shimmer do you mind if I ask what you remember at the age of 4?"

Sunset was taken back at that question and that she didn't call her Sunray again. However she decided to try and remember but nothing came up, "I'm sorry but everything that happened before I turned 4 is just a big blur," She answered before she remembered one thing, "Well there was this one song I could never get out of my head for some reason."

That last statement made the woman make a face of hope, as she breathed in and out as the man held her shoulder, "Would you mind singing it for us?" She asked.

Sunset shrugged and nodded as she cleared her throat and began to sing.

🎵Sun goes down and we are here together,🎵

The couples eyes widen as a smile and tears slowly appeared on the woman face as Sunset countinued to sing,

🎵Fireflies glow like a thousand charms,🎵

The woman then took Sunset hands in her own causing her to stop singing and look at her in confusion but the woman started to pick up where she left off.

🎵"Stay with me and you can dream forever,
Right here in my arms tonight."🎵

Sunset stared in shock at the woman as she heard her sing the last verse of the song. She was now greatly confused, this woman was holding a baby her in her dreams, sang the last part of the only song she remembered when she was only 4 years old, her voice sounded like she could be safe and loved around her, she resembled her so much and called her a different name that felt familiar to her. All those facts lead to one possibility, "No. It-it can't be." She trembled as she looked into the eyes of the woman as she made a teary smile back and while she delicately placed a hand on her cheek spoke the six words that would forever change her life.

"I'm right here my little sunshine."

That was the straw that broke the camel's back. Suddenly flashing through her head were memories she had lost the night Celestia found her at the age of 4. She as a baby sleeping peacefully in the woman's arms, playing with a little boy, eating with them at a restaurant, seeing fashion shows and photoshoots of the woman, visiting the police station with the man, celebrating her birthday with other people and finally going to the park with the boy and man where they played hide & seek and where she stumbled about a hidden lake putting a hand into but ended up falling into it and landing in the regal garden of Princess Celestia. She remembered everything, how she ended up on in the castle gardens, she was really a human who ended up in Equestria. That it explained why she never saw this world's Sunset, she WAS this world's Sunset. And if she was the human world's Sunset that definitely meant that this woman standing before her was indeed her...

"M-mom?" She said nervously as her eyes watered, fearful she was wrong and the woman nodded, "Yes."

Sunset couldn't believe it. After all this time, she had finally found her. The one person she's wanted to meet since day one. She then let out some heavy breaths flung her arms around Golden and hugged her tightly, to make sure this wasn't another dream. As she felt her hair and shirt, she heard her heart beating.

It was real

SHE was real.

Her eyes watered and then She wailed loudly, "MOM!" and started crying her eyes out into her shoulder letting out all of the emotions she bottled up ever since she wanted to find her mother again. Her mother just held her tightly as well while releasing tears herself as she rubbed circles on her back and whispered sweet words and reassurance into her ear. Sunset turned her head to the man next to them and he gave a teary smile as well, "It's so good to see sweetheart." he said making Sunset's heart burst even more than it already had as she knew who this man was as well. "D-daddy." She whimpered and it was greenlight enough for him as he joined in on the hug and Sunset wrapped one of her arms around him while keeping the other on her mom.

'Please, PLEASE don't let's this be a dream.' She mentally begged.

Just then two blurs rushed into the room, jumped onto the bed and hugged from behind. Sunset turned her head to see a teenage boy with red and orange hair and pinkish white skin and a pale yellow skin 10 year girl with orange hair hugging her too. They both looked at her and said in unison, "Welcome home sis."

Sunset wasn't sure how much more her heart could take. She just found out she had parents and now she had two siblings too. Then she remembered the wish she made out in the streets, to have a real family. 'My wish did come true.' She smiled as tears continued to run down her cheeks and the four people held her close as her wish came true. This was the happiest moment of her entire life even before the whole Anon-a-miss mess began. 'I guess there is such a thing as Christmas miracles.' She thought as she enjoyed the warmth and love she felt around her and inside her.

It looked like things were looking up now.

Explanations and Breakdowns

So many emotions were spiraling in Sunset right now, so many that she didn't know which ones to express first.

Gratitude: for no longer being alone.

Confusion: as to how she has a real family in this world.

Fear: That this whole thing was a dream that she would wake from and be all alone again.

But she decided to choose the emotion she felt was the most powerful, Happiness: for having the one thing she always wanted, a true family.

They all had gathered in the family room and her father had changed into some more casual clothes and her mom went up stairs for a moment. While they waited for the Shine matriarch to return, Sunset (Or Sunray as her family called her), was introduced to the Family pet, Fang. A German- Shepherd who apparently was her Father's partner. When Sunset asked how long he's been with them, they said Fang joined the family a couple of months back. Fang immediately took a liking to Sunset, and Sunset practically adored Fang.

Soon Golden came back with a box with the words 'Sunray's Things' on the front. Golden then in between her Husband and elder daughter and passed the box to her, "Open it Sweetie." Sunset then did as she said and looked in the box and her eyes widened at what she saw.

Inside were all of her things since she was four, the first thing she saw was a Phoenix plushie, and she immediately pulled it out. "Flary! Oh it's so good to see you again!" She squealed and hugged her favorite toy as her family laughed and cooed at the scene.

"You loved that little guy more than I like to admit." Flame said smiling at the scene.

"Flary was the first birthday present we got you and you loved him dearly." Golden added as Sunset looked at her before looking back at Flary and giving him another hug, before she turned back to the box there she saw an old dried up flower and held it up.

"That when you I went for a walk in Canterlot park," Golden explained, "You were only three when we passed by a flower garden and you decided to pick the flower and give it to me saying, 'A pwetty Fower for a pwetty Mommy.'"

Sunset blushed heavily and shouted, "MOM!" Everyone laughed at Sunset as she buried her face in her hands, her face beetroot red in embarrassment.

once everyone had calmed down Sunset went back into the box and found a brightly painted little kid drawing of her, her parents and Helios standing outside their house looking happy, "Wow." She simply said.
"It was a beautiful painting, Sunny," Golden said before she frowned,, "You made that the day we lost you." Immediately sad looks came to Golden, Flame and Helios faces as that particular memory came to the surface.

Sunset immediately picked this up and was almost afraid to ask, "Whoa, I was so little, what happened to me?" There it was. The question that would undoubtedly have been brought up.

Flame then looked down in Guilt, "It was all my fault. I turned my back for a minute and..." he trailed off.

"Oh no, not this song again." Helios said as he and Honey sat on the couch with their sister and parents with Helios sitting next to his dad and Honey next to Sunset.

"It wasn't your fault dear." Golden reassured her husband, rubbing his back as he sighed. "You, Helios and your father went to the park while I was at one of my rehearsals," She told Sunset as her daughter listened intently.

"When we got there, we played tag, went on the swings, had ice cream. Heh, it was day I knew I never forget," Helios said smiling sadly, "After that we decided to play hide and seek, dad found me first so then he and I tried to find you but we couldn't find you anywhere." Sunset then understood that this was when she accidently discovered that portal to Equestria and fell through, thus making her family believe she just disappeared.

"For a while they were afraid that you were kidnapped," Honey explained as Sunset continued to listen. "Daddy did everything he could, he had the police search for you for weeks, turned over every rock and building in the city."

"Finally by the beginning of fall, I had to assume that whoever took you..." Flame trailed as he struggled to say the last part.

"We thought, we thought they killed you." Golden choked up a little, but her smile soon returned, "But now I see that you weren't kidnapped or killed."

"Which brings us to our own question," Helios, "What did happen to you?" Sunset shifted her eyes slightly wondering if they actually would believe her, 'Well they told me the truth, Might as well do the same' She thought as she took a deep breath and turned to her family, "Well, do you believe in magic?"

After half an hour Sunset finished telling them what happened to her after she went missing, and their expressions were pretty much as she guessed. Helios stared at her slack-jawed, Golden held her hand over mouth in shock, Flame crossed his arms and looked at her with disbelief but it was Honey out of all them that had taken her back. Her eyes were shimmering and she had a wide smile on her face, before she made a big squeal as she rushed to her big sister and squeezed her tightly, "I KNEW IT! I knew magic was real! But Helios just kept saying 'No Honey, magic is just a bunch of optical illusions and slight of hand tricks', But Ha! I always knew it was real and you're the proof!" She gloated as she hugged Sunset and smiled.

Helios just sighed, "Okay, fine you were right, but how could anyone even imagine that there's another world filled with talking horses and other mythological creatures?" he retorted with confusion and snark as everyone laughed.

Golden just shook her head still Finding it weird that her daughter was a Unicorn who was trained under her old friend Celestia's counterpart who also happened to be a princess but ultimately abandoned her and retreated to her home, ruled an entire high school through fear, but was reformed by five girls and the counterpart of Twilight who also happened to be princess and eventually helped them defeat three ancient sirens during a band competition. It was a lot to take in. Sunset saw her mother's shocked and confused expression before she softly asked, "Mom? Are you alright?" It still felt weird calling her that after just meeting her a few minutes ago but Golden turned to her.

"I'm fine sweetheart, I just find it hard to believe my little girl was a high school bully and turned into a 'Raging She-Demon', " She started as Sunset looked at her mother very nervously but seeing this Golden gave a small smile and placed her hands on her daughter's shoulders to calm her before continuing, "But I'm also so amazed of all you've done on your journey to a new start. So it gives me great pleasure to say that I'm proud of you Sunray." Sunset blushed and tears formed once again in her eyes, as she always wanted a mother's approval since she was little and hugged her tightly.

Golden smiled and hugged her back but he started thinking of something else, she loosened her grip on the embrace but kept her grip on Sunset arms, "But Sunray there's something else I wanted to ask, what were you doing out in the cold alone?" She asked as Sunset's face turned to one of sorrow and looked away. Her family quickly caught on to this and Golden switched places with her daughter making it so she was in the center of the couch now as Fang whined in concern and rubbed Sunset's legs. "Sunray did something happen at CHS?" Her mother asked, holding her as Sunset's eyes started to water.

"Y-yes." She whimpered.

"Sunny, sweetheart it's okay, we're here for you." Her father assured her by rubbing her shoulder gently.

"My friends," She started as tears started falling down her cheeks, "They, they, b-betrayed me.". She wailed. Her family gasped as Golden hugged her daughter,

"Oh my little Sunshine, it's okay," She cooed softly to the poor teen as she cried gently into her mother's shoulder, "Tell us everything." Sunset rubbed her eyes and recomposed herself, "W-well, we were just getting ready for winter break coming up and the girls decided to invite me to some sleepovers at their homes, to share the holidays with me. At first it was going okay but after the first sleepover a Mystable user called 'Anon-a-Miss' started posting secrets about my friends, first about Applejack then the girls wearing silly costumes we found at Rarity's." She started, already feeling heavy in her chest.

"Oh yeah, we've seen that too, just got a post on my phone from it when I found you." Helios added, as Sunset looked at her, "Plus Mrs Celestia and Luna filled us in on the details last time we saw them." Sunset's eyes widened at the last part.

"W-wait, you know Principal Celestia and Vice-Principal Luna?" She asked her parents as they both chuckled and nodded.

"Yes we do. They're our friends from our university days and they even babysat you and Helios when your mother and I were too busy at work." Sunset's jaw dropped. Her principal and vice-principal were not only friends of her parents but also her old babysitters?! She knew this was talk she had to have with them, but before she could ask another question, "But back to Anon-a-Miss sweetie."

Sunset sighed, knowing she had continued, "After the second post my friends noted that the photos posted were from my phone which I don't know how she got and since Applejack told me the story about her nickname they all suspected that I was Anon-a-Miss." Sunset started to tremble as tears began to form in her eyes, "I-I tried to tell that, that I was her b-but they wouldn't listen, they just decided to turn their back on me! After, after everything we've been through, they just, th-they just, HOW COULD THEY ABANDON ME JUST LIKE THAT?!?!" Sunset screamed as she buried her face in her hands and cried in sorrow ,betrayal and intense grief.

Her family, feeling sorry for her gathered around and hugged her as she continued to cry. Even Fang got in on nuzzling her leg.

Sunset eventually calmed down after a few minutes but tears still flowed down her face, Golden brought her face up and cleared the tears from her eyes, "Feel better?" She asked softly as Sunset sniffled and nodded. "Yes, thank you." She then took another breath and continued, "After that day, Anon-a-Miss got worse and worse, she started posting the secrets of everyone in the school and when everyone wasn't busy arguing with each other they pointed the finger, and just like that all the good I've done for the school was forgotten."

"I'm so sorry sis." Helios said, trying to keep a calm and collected form, but inside his mind was filled with the utmost fury and rage.' If I see those girls tomorrow I'm gonna give them a piece of my mind.' He promised his little sister he wasn't going to let them get away hurting his sister.

"Thanks bro," Sunset said with a sad smile, but it quickly vanished, "I just, I don't know what to do anymore, my friends were there to help me back when the entire school hates me but now. I feel more alone than ever." She said looking down sadly, but her father just gripped her hand causing her to look up and see his soft, gentle and loving fatherly smile.

"Well don't. you're not alone anymore sweetie, you're back where you belong, with us, home". He said gesturing to the whole family as Helios, Golden and Honey smiled and Fang panted and wagged his tail happily at her causing her to smile too, "And don't you worry, we'll help you track down the real Anon-a-miss and make sure she can't and won't ever bother you ever again." He declared as her family nodded.

Sunset smiled brightly so happy to not only have a good family but people who would help her stop Anon-a-Miss, "Thank you, with all of your help I know I'll find the real Anon-a-Miss, then my friends will see the consequences for turning their back on me." She growled as she thought about her friends- no, former friends, wanting them to feel nothing but guilt and sorrow for what they did to her. Her parents saw this but decided not to say anything. Golden smiled at her daughter and said, "Well how about we get a good night sleep before we start giving people their just desserts, ok?"

Sunset yawned, feeling sleepy and answered "Yeah, okay." Helios got up and noticed that Honey was just starting to fall asleep. He rolled his eyes and picked her up then turned to his other sister, "Come on, you can sleep with me tonight. Night mom. Night dad." He said as he, Sunset and the now sleeping honey went upstairs. The two adults just sat on the couch and then Flame then noticed that his wife was releasing tears she had kept in for her daughter's sake, "Goldie?" he asked in concern.

"She was here for years," Golden whispered, "Our daughter, our precious little girl has been here for SIX years Flame! And while I've just been posing for the cameras for my Holiday Magazine, my daughter has been suffering!" she shouted as her husband held her tightly.

"Shh, don't worry Goldie. From what Sunray's told us she's a tough girl I know we can get her through this." Flame said as he comforted his wife, "And I know what you're thinking but don't worry, we won't lose her again."

Golden sniffled, "I hope so. I really hope so."

Sunset sat on the extra comforter her brother had as she looked around the room. His bedroom was red with a fiery vibe on the walls which had books on multiple subjects, Martial arts awards, Games, action figures, Band posters, Crystal Prep flags and even a few pictures of his family and friends which lined the walls like mosaics.

Her brother had loaned her some of his old pajamas which had conveniently fit her perfectly.

As she sat down she was contemplating everything that had happened today so far. She nearly got run over, brought back and reunited with her family, gained help to find the real Anon-a-Miss and was finally gonna have a real good night's sleep.

Just as she was about to lie down her bag started glowing, knowing what it meant she took out a brown book with her Cutie mark on the cover, and opened it seeing the words that appeared on it.

Sunset! Are you there?!

I'm so sorry I didn't answer sooner!

The princesses and I are visiting the Kingdom Amboria for peace meeting with Lady Golden

Shine and Lord Flame Heart and their three children.

but when I saw that I brought the journal with me by accident and read what's been happening at CHS, I had contact you,

Is everything alright?

Sunset was very surprised to hear that Princess Twilight was in a kingdom ruled by her parents' counterparts and guessed that if there were alternate versions of them there then there were probably alternate versions of herself and her siblings there too. She chuckled knowing her princess friend would be in for a big surprise when she would meet the lord and lady's kids but she pushed that thought aside and took out her pen and wrote.

"Twilight, we have a lot to catch up on''.

In a black and red striped sports car, Helios was driving while Sunset sat in the passenger seat while Honey sat in the back. The ride to CHS was going pretty quietly, Honeyglow was playing on her phone while her older siblings drive and just leaned against the window or at least Sunset was doing the latter.

Sunset hadn't spoken since they left the house, she was a bit worried about going back to CHS where everyone hated her and her friends had abandoned her. She felt a bit better going with her brother and sister but still,

she turned to to Helios who was focusing on keeping his eyes on the road. She worried if she could make things difficult for Helios and most importantly. She looked back at her little sister who was enjoying playing on her phone, being a middle school girl in school filled with high school students would be hard enough without a big sister who wasn't very popular. A part of her was afraid that Honey would be picked on for being her little sister or worst tried to be used by someone who wanted some leverage over her. She sighed before the car stopped at red light, she turned to Helios who looked her with reassurance, "I know what your thinking, but don't worry Honey's a tough girl, if those boneheads try to hurt her or you they'll have me to answer to." He promised with a confident smirk, Sunset smiled, glad that she had such a great big brother now.

The light changed green and the car started moving again. Sunset finally started to enjoy the ride but then as she thought about her former friends she remember what her mom had told them before they left.

"Remember Sunray, just because you want to hate those girls for turning their backs on you, don't. Because that would be something the old you would've done. And you should know how important it means to have a second chance."

She thought about that. Not forgiving them, hating them, letting them drown in their own guilt, that was something the old her would've taken great pleasure in. But not the her now, she knew what it was like to want a chance to prove to others that you learned from your mistakes, to prove you change from that one mistake and that you'll never repeat that mistake again. She had ruled the school through fear and hate, made everyone turn against each other, broken the friendship between Pinkie, Rainbow, Applejack, Rarity and Fluttershy, tried to destroy them and Twilight. Yet even after that they still gave her a second chance to better, to be their friend. Maybe she should try giving them the chance they gave her. Maybe-

"Hey we're here."

Helios voice snapped her out of her thinking as she realized they had indeed arrived at the school and they had stopped in the student parking lot. As they hopped out the car Sunset seeing the building filled with people who now hated her started getting cold feet but when Helios gripped her shoulder and Honey held, she turned to them and saw both had smile that said, "We're here for you sis." Sunset took a deep breath and smiled as three walked towards the front door.

Once they got there Sunset grabbed the door handle and opened it, "Let me show you around, I know I'm not exactly loved here but I still know the school like the back of hand." She said, looking at the back of her hand to emphasizes her quip. Helios and Honey laughed as the trio walked into the building.

As they walked they noticed that while there were some student but not a lot, whatever they were doing before they stopped and turned to glare at Sunset. As she walked in she her them say.

"Oh look it's Anon-a-Miss."

"Little miss secret stealer."

"Hoped she'd be smart and stayed away."

Sunset gripped her elbows and her eyes grew wet as the whispers and mutters kept coming. She hated it. she Absolutely hated it.

Then suddenly as the some of the students tried to get closer, a strong arm wrapped itself around her, and a pair of small hands grabbed her right hand and held it firmly and gently. She looked up to her left and saw her brother glaring at the students with the protectiveness only a big brother would have causing them all to either stay put or take a step back, seeing that this was a guy who shouldn't be messed with. Then she looked down to her left and saw her sister holding her hand and smiled at her, silently telling her that she was safe. She smiled, closed her eyes and thought 'Having siblings is the best.'

The three continued walking as Helios kept shooting his glare at everybody, practically daring any of them to hurt Sunset. As they were moving towards the principal's office they didn't notice that they were being watched by Sunset's former friends: the Rainbooms.

"Who were the two new kids?" Rainbow asked looking at Helios and Honey.

"More importantly why are they hanging around with that snake?" Applejack spat.

"The poor darlings are new here, so they must not know that they're being accompany by Anon-a-Miss." Rarity reasoned.

"So what should we do girls?" Pinkie asked.

"I say we follow them and warn them about Sunset." Rainbow suggested.

"Agreed, the less people that are around Sunset the less likely she can get their secrets." Rarity agreed.

"Then let's move ya'll." Applejack said as they followed the three students. Fluttershy however who was silent throughout the entire debate hanged back a bit. Unlike the others she saw that Sunset actually looked happy with the new arrivals, she imagined they were probably new friends she hanged out with after they left her. She looked down at the particular thought came to her and she especially remember how she screamed how Sunset wasn't their friend, right in her face no less. When she and her friends went home she finally realized what she had done and the impact it could have on Sunset and cried all night. After that she watched as the chaos of Anon-a-Miss got worse and worse everyday, and she felt very uncomfortable seeing Sunset getting blamed for it. She also began to question if Sunset really was Anon-a-Miss but she was too afraid of what her friends would think and also if Sunset would be willing to hear her out.

"Hey Fluttershy! you coming?" She heard Rainbow calling her, pulling her back to reality. "O-oh yes. Coming." She answered and followed after her friends while thinking, 'Am I really doing the right thing by staying away from Sunset or am I doing the wrong thing? I should probably talk to Sunset myself just to be sure.' she thought as she hurried after her friends without noticing three girl looking very concerned.

Celestia sat in her office drink some fresh hot cocoa while trying to not over stress herself. She and Luna have been working incredible hard to try and keep the heat from all the students fighting caused by Anon-a-Miss to a minimal while trying to figure out who she was. But so far they weren't having much luck with the former as every time someone new got their secrets post they kept getting thrown off the perpetrators tail, but she did know for a fact that it wasn't Sunset. the fact that Anon-a-Miss's profile was a silhouette of Sunset and with her hair colors was just sloppy, she remember when Sunset was bully she always did things discreetly without trying to let anything be traced back to her and she never tried to embarrass anybody like this unless they had fulfilled her demands. 'Besides Sunset is no longer the kind of person who would do this.' she thought as she remembered how much the girl had done so much since her defeat at the Fall Formal and Celestia knew that after the Battle of the Bands Sunset was not them same girl.

But still if Sunset wasn't Anon-a-Miss then who else could it be? After she finished her cocoa she let out a sigh of frustration and pressed her fingers against her temples. Then Luna opened the door and saw her sister with her hands on her head. "Tia? Are you alright?" She asked her big sister.

Celestia looked up at her little sister and gave a reassuring smile, "Oh yes, Luna I'm fine. It's just between the arguments and fighting between our students and this whole mess with Anon-a-Miss," She sighed, "I would really like some good news for a change."

Luna smiled and walked back to the door, "Well if that's what you want," Celestia arched a brow as Luna grabbed the doorknob, "Our new students have arrived." She opened the door as the three Shine siblings walked in Celestia beamed at the sight of the Trio.

"Helios, Honeyglow! and Sunset?"

"Hi Mrs. Celestia. Jinx!" They said in unison.

They all chuckled. Celestia got up from her seat, walked around her desk and held Helios's hands, "Oh Helios. It's so good to have you at CHS." She said with joy. She had always enjoyed her time with the Shine siblings whether it was when she babysitting them or when she visited them and their parents just for fun. "Just look at you, such a handsome young man." Helios blushed at her compliment as the others giggled.

"Hehe, thanks Celestia and it's good to you too." Helios chuckled nervously as he hugged the woman. When they separated, Celestia turned and kneeled to the youngest child, "And is this little Honey? Oh you've gotten so big since I last saw you but still as cute as button." she gushed, Honey's face turned red this time making her look even more adorable as she mumbled, "Thank you."

Celestia finally turned to Sunset, "And hello to you as well Sunset, are you ok?" she asked in concern knowing full well that the rest of the student body was giving her a hard time.

"I'm fine Mrs. Celestia, thanks to these two." She gestured to Helios and Honey.

Celestia smiled but was a little confused, "Well I'm glad but what are the three of you doing here together?" she asked, Three students glanced at each other smiling, "We have lot to catch up on," Helios said, further confusing the two adults.

The three Shine siblings then went on to explain to the two women what they had discovered yesterday, Helios almost crashing into Sunset, her true identity as the long thought dead daughter of Golden Shine and Flame Heart Sunray, how she ended up in Equestria. At the end of the explanation both Celestia and Luna both looked at them with shocked expressions. They never realized that Sunset was the same little girl they babysat along with Helios all those years ago. granted They should've seen the resemblance between Sunset and Sunray when she was first admitted into Canterlot High but it had been a long time since they last saw little Sunray so making out any similarities would be a bit of challenge.

"I must say I wasn't expecting that," Luna said simply, eyes wide.

Celestia just shook her head and turned to Sunset, "I can't believe your actually little Sunray. How did I not see the similarities?" She asked herself before her face turns more guilty, "If only I saw it sooner, if I had known that you were Sunray you would've been-oof!" Celestia was interrupted when Sunset hugged her tightly and tried to bury her face in her shirt.

"No." Sunset simply said as Celestia remained still in shock, "Don't think it's your fault. You couldn't have known I was Sunray, even if you did and you told me when I was still the school bully I'd probably just laugh in your face or use that information to me advantage. What matters is that I'm back with my family and now I remember who my favorite babysitters are." Celestia smiled warmly at that last part and hugged Sunset back. Luna, Helios and Honey just looked on and smiled.

Once Sunset and Celestia separated the principal went over to her desk, opened a draw and pulled out 2 pieces of paper, "Here are your class schedules you two," She said passing the papers to Helios and Honey, "Your first period class start in half an hour, so I suggest you three get going." The three nodded and turned to leave but not before they felt their phones vibrating again.

"Ugh, doesn't this Anon-a-Miss know went to quit?" Helios demanded not even bothering to take out his phone.

"Unfortunately not." Sunset muttered.

"Well if there is a plus side, at least Celestia and I know for sure you aren't Anon-a-Miss." Luna commented as Sunset smiled at that the unexpected turn of good fortune, "And don't you worry, we're doing everything we can to track down the one whose really behind this. If you find anything that may lead back to them bring it to us immediately."

"You got it!" Honey saluted as the older people chuckled. The Shine trio then left the room to begin their school day. Celestia sat down and redrank her cocoa but with a smile on her face, not just for finding further evidence that Sunset wasn't Anon-a-Miss but also that her old friend's daughter had returned. She turned to her Sister who also had a smile on her face, "Luna something tells me that these last few days before the break has just started getting better." She mused as Luna nodded.

"Are ya sure they went this way?" Applejack asked as the 5 girls tried to find out where Sunset and the two new student were. By the time Fluttershy had caught up with them the school started filling up and they lost them in the sea of students but Rainbow already had an idea where they were.

"Of course I am! Every new student has to meet with Principal Celestia to get their school schedules so naturally will find them at her office or leaving from there." Rainbow reasoned as they kept trekking through the halls. Eventually they reach the hall where the principal's office was located. Just as they were about to approach the office, a door opened and Sunset along with the other 2 student walked out but they hadn't noticed the 5 girls hiding behind the lockers, "See? I told ya they be here!" Rainbow whispered to the others.

"Well pat yourself on the back later, we have tell those two what danger their in." Rarity reminded her. Rainbow nodded and Rainbooms moved towards the three. Fluttershy was the only one who didn't move because unlike the others she saw that Sunset was very happy with the boy and little girl and she didn't like the idea of ripping Sunset away from her new friends but she did want a chance to talk to her so she decided to that once her friends had said their piece she ask Sunset if she really was Anon-a-Miss.

Sunset looked at her brother and sister's schedules and turned to them, "Alright looks like your first period classes are right next to mine so..." Sunset trailed off as she looked over her brother shoulder and saw who was coming towards them. "Oh great," She muttered with deadpanned stare.

"Huh?" Helios and Honey turned around and saw five girls walking towards them. Helios looked at them then to Sunset as he saw the pain look on her face he turned to the girls with caution, "And who are you?" He asked.

"My name's Rainbow Dash and this Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie," The rainbow haired girl introduced herself and her friends, "And we're here to tell you and your little friend that your hanging out with someone you don't want to hang around with." She stated as she pointed to Sunset. Helios turned back to his sister, there was a silent conversation between them that told him that these were the ones who betrayed her.

"Well I can assure you, me and my sister know that we do want hang to out with her," Helios said with defensive glare.

"Well trust me when I say sugarcube, you don't want to anywhere near Sunset Shimmer." Applejack retorted.

"And why is that?" He asked raising a brow, though he already knew the answer.

"Because that girl your standing next to is the MyStable user Anon-a-Miss whose been posting everyone's secrets and who betrayed us!" Rarity answered as Fluttershy started twiddle her fingers nervously and uncertainly.

"So you say!" Sunset barged into the conversation, glaring at her former friends, "But I'm telling you the same thing I told the day you all turned your backs on me, I'm not Anon-a-Miss! When is gonna get through your thick skulls."

"Um, actually I'm starting to think-" Fluttershy tried to speak but Rainbow interrupted her.

"Cut the lies Sunset! We know that you had dirt on everyone in the school," Rainbow said getting in Sunset's face. "your the only one who could possibly be Anon-a-Miss!"

"Plus all those photos from our slumber party at Rarity's were taken by you Secret-stealer!" Pinkie said pointing her finger at Sunset.

"And we're not gonna let you try and steal the secrets of these two either!" Applejack added, gesturing to Helios and Honey, the latter hiding behind the former.

"Well have you considered that you may be wrong and that Anon-a-Miss might have hacked into my phone somehow and copied my pictures?" Sunset shot back and started to clench her fist, "And another thing, their names are Helios and Honey and I would never, EVER take their secrets!"

"You stole our secrets, "Rarity argued crossing her arms, "Why they be any different?"

"BECAUSE THEY'RE MY FAMILY!!!" Sunset screamed as the everyone stared silent at her. Sunset calmed down and stared fiercely at them, "That's right, Helios Shine and Honeyglow are my big brother and little sister." Rarity snapped out of her shock when she heard Helios's last name.

"Wait 'Shine'?" She slowly turned to Helios who was casting a disappointed glare at them while not noticing Honey was walking a little bit down the another hall, "Y-you two wouldn't happen to be related to..."

Helios nodded, "Yes, mine and Honey's mother is the famous fashion model Golden Shine." The girls jaws dropped as they turned to their former friend, "And since I'm their sibling that means that their mother is also my mother." Sunset said simply.

Rainbow was the first to snap out the shock and glared at Sunset, "Yeah right! We all know your from Equestria, you're probably just lying to them by pretending to be the Sunset of this world." She said, not buying Sunset's story.

"Actually as it turns out I am the Sunset of this world." She retorted as the girl gasped in shock, "I know, surprised me too."

"B-but how-" Pinkie tried to ask before Helios held up his hand.

"I think we're getting off topic here," Helios said as he approached the girls who only now started to see that this young man looked like someone you wouldn't want to pick a fight with and started to take a few steps back, "While do appreciate your concern for me and my sister, I'd rather listen to my sister than the five who betrayed her, and let me tell if any of you even think about hurting my little sister in anyway, you'll have me to deal with, capishe?" He growled as Fluttershy and Pinkie hid behind Rainbow and Applejack who were to shock to do anything while Rarity had a nervous look on her face and gulped.

"U-uh, yes whatever you say dear." She said hastily as Helios continued to glare at them.

"Good. Now if you'll excuse us we got to get class, come on girls." Helios said as he turned and walked away with Sunset and Honey, the former giving one last glare to her former friends and Honey who was eyeing the hallway she was looking at with suspension. As the 3 Shine siblings walked away, the Rainbooms turned and walked away to their own classes with doubts flowing through their head.

Was Sunset really Anon-a-Miss?

Was it possible that they were wrong?

If so then who could the real Anon-a-Miss be?

They didn't know the answers. All except one. Fluttershy realized that the moment Sunset said she never hurt her brother and sister and how Helios defended her, she knew that Sunset was innocent. And she knew that meant one thing.

'I have to apologize to her.'

As Honey walked after her big brother and sister she started to think back to what she saw in the other hallway,

While the older kids were talking Honey noticed three girls talking down the hall behind them, who had probably heard Sunray's screaming. she walked a little down the hall to here what they were talking about.

"Ya heard her to right?" One of the girls asked, one with red hair and a pink bow in it and had a country accent.

"Yeah I did. But I thought Sunset didn't have family here." Another girl said one with a black jacket and orange skin.

"Maybe she was adopted by them." the third girl with white skin guessed.

"We'll worry about that later, right now we need to talk about our plan." The country girl reminded them. Honey interest was piqued at that 'Plan? What plan?'

"Are you two sure we should keep doing this," the Orange skinned girl asked with doubt, "I know you 2 are doing this to get her away from your sister and I'm doing it for Rainbow but I don't like going behind her back and doing stuff like this."

"I don't like it either Scootaloo but this is the only way we can actually spend time with our sister without Sunset getting in the way," The white skinned girl told the girl called Scootaloo.

"Besides if we tell anyone what we're doing they'll hate us for sure." the country girl added.

"I guess so but I say after the Christmas we just go ahead and delete it, just so we're in the clear." Scootaloo purposed as the other two girls nodded in agreement.

"Well I say we get moving, class starts in a few minutes." The white girl suggested and with that the three walked away without noticing Honey looking at them with suspision 'Plan to keep big sis out of the way? Delete what exactly?' She thought to herself before a realization came to her 'Could they be talking about-'

"Good. Now if you'll excuse us we got to get class, come on girls." Helios's voice snapped her out of her thoughts as she saw her siblings walking away from the other five girls who had fearful expressions on their faces. She looked back down the hall where the three girls were with suspicion and walked after her siblings with one thought on her mind.

'I wonder if they have anything to do with Anon-a-Miss.'

If those girls really were connected to the real Anon-a-Miss then she should probably tell Sunray and Helios about it. She was about to speak up when her sister bumped right into a teenaged boy with blue hair and carrying a guitar on his back and landed on her rear. She and Helios rushed to help her up but the other beat them to it. "Whoa, sorry about that Sunset, apparently bumping into girls is a bit of a bad habit of mine." He said sheepishly as Sunray got back on her feet.

"Hey Flash," She said back to the boy named Flash, "You okay?" she asked in concerned.

"Oh yeah, I'm fine. Friendships a bit strained with the guy but doing alright," Flash answered before looking at Sunray with concern "But I could ask you the same thing you know with practically everyone thinking your Anon-a-Miss."

Sunray just blinked and nodded, "Yeah I'm fine, don't worry about it." She said sounding a little surprised.

Flash sighed and ran a hand through his hair, "Look I know what your thinking but let me assure you I don't believe your Anon-a-Miss." He admitted surprising Sunray, "After I saw how much you changed during the finals of the Battle of the Bands I know you wouldn't do this if it meant losing everyone trust in you. Plus I have admit back when you were a bully you never did something like this. Also I feel a little rotten for what I said during the semifinals." He then looked down a bit guilty.

Helios raised a brow "What DID you say?"

"You don't wanna know." Flash said holding up his hand and turned back to Sunray, "Look I guess what I'm trying to say is I believe you Sunset and if need some help just give me a call."

Sunray looked at the boy in shock before forming a grateful smile and surprised him by giving a hug, "Thank you Flash, I really needed to hear that." She said softly as Flash smiled and hugged her back. As Honey watched it she had a feeling that Sunray really liked this Flash guy. After they separated Flash looked at her and Helios, "So you gonna introduce me to your new friends here?" he asked gesturing to the two as Sunray nodded and walked over to the two.

"This is Helios Shine my big brother and this Honeyglow my little sister." She said holding Helios shoulder and giving Honey a side hug.

Flash's eyes widened, "Wait brother and sister?! But I thought you said-" He tried to say but Sunray held up her hand.

"It's a long story Flash, see you at lunch? I'll explain it to you there." She purposed. Flash nodded, "Sounds good. Anyway I gotta go to music class now I'll you three later." with that Flash left the hall to the music room.

Helios smiled, "Well he seemed pretty nice."

"Yeah, Flash always was great guy." Sunray said with a smile as well. Honey looked at her big sister and asked curiously, "Is he your boyfriend?"

Sunray's face turned beet red as she whipped to her little sister, "WHAT?! NO! I mean we did date a while back but-"

"Wait," Helios said with a wicked smirk, "You actually dated that guy?! Haha! Oh man, mom and dad are definitely gonna want to hear this when we get home." He declared as walked to his classroom.

Sunray turned her blushing face towards her brother as her face started to turn even more red with rage and embarrassment and chased after her big brother, "Oh you are doing no such thing! The last thing I need is mom nosing around my lovelife, do you hear me Helios Shine?!" She shouted as Honey followed her older siblings giggling along. She still wanted to tell Sunray about her theory about Anon-a-miss but now didn't seem like a good time, she decided to wait until tonight to tell her.
