Chapter 1: Mondays...
"Dashie..." Soarin whispered to his marefriend sleeping next to him. It was a typical Monday morning, which was a bright and sunny day in Equestria. Today was going to be the first day back to Wonderbolt HQ and Soarin is trying to wake up his marefriend Rainbow Dash, "Dashie, babe, skittles, come on wake up already!" Soarin continued to call out Rainbows name and used many nicknames he gives Rainbow Dash.
"Mmm..." Rainbow Dash moaned.
"Skittles, I know you can here me..." Soarin mumbled and planted a kiss on Rainbow Dashes neck and continued to kiss her in the same spot. Rainbow Dash felt Soarins lips on her neck and her eyes focussed on her coltfriend embracing her. Rainbow Dash closed her eyes again and let Soarin pleasure her.
"S-stop y-you dork, I'm tired from last night..." Rainbow Dash whined as she pushed Soarin away. Soarin laid his head on Rainbow's chest and started to nuzzle her. "Soar, stop being adorable and let me sleep." Soarin didn't listen to Rainbow Dash and kept nuzzling her. A couple of minutes later Soarin stopped nuzzling her.
"Yes, last night was amazing and tiring at the same time, but we've got a big day remember? This is the day where we all have to go back to HQ and work babe," Soarin explained. Rainbow Dash heard Soarin and without complaining woke up.
"WHAT THAT'S TODAY! SOARIN WE CAN'T WASTE ANYMORE TIME! LET'S JUST GO GET SOMETHING FROM SUGARCUBE CORNER AND MAKE A RUN FOR IT OR WE'LL BE LATE!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she zoomed downstairs and started to leave her house but then remembered she left something behind.
"Babe! Didn't you forget something?" Soarin shouted just before Rainbow Dash zoomed back into her room looking for something she had forgotten.
"I can't find it!" Rainbow Dash wailed.
"Can't find what?" Soarin asked.
"Uh, my stuff I need to take to HQ! I'm pretty sure I packed it. And stop making yourself useless and help me babe!" Rainbow Dash continued to whine.
"Quick question, are you like going through something right now or is it just that typical Monday where you forget everything?" Soarin asked Rainbow Dash. Rainbow glared at Soarin and continued looking for her things she needed to take. "Ok I'll take that as a no, it's a typical Monday..."
"I've got everything! Hurry up already babe!" Rainbow Dash shouted.
"Coming! Give me a sec will ya, ok ready. How do I look Dashie?" Soarin smirked.
"Uhh, wheres your bag?" Rainbow Dash asked Soarin.
"It's downstairs. See I'm a good boy who has already prepared everything." Soarin chuckled and smirked again.
Rainbow Dash groaned and rolled her eyes. She loved Soarin but she kinda hated it when he didn't take things too seriously and started joking around, but she loved it. "Ugh! Let's go already."
"Didn't you forget one more thing?" Soarin asked.
"No I don't think so," Rainbow Dash replied.
Soarin whimpered, "you forgot my morning kiss! Come on Dashie give Soarie a kiss..." Soarin puckered his lips and leaned in towards Rainbow Dash to steal a kiss from her.
Rainbow Dash glared at Soarin. "Seriously? You're not a 5 year old Soarin. Ugh! Why did I decide to date you?"
"It's because you can't resist me babe~" Soarin said as he laid on Rainbow Dashes bed looking very seductive and intimidating. Rainbow Dash seemed to be very flustered from Soarin's childish and seductive behaviour. She couldn't stop looking at him, her eyes were focussed on him and only him. A few minutes later Rainbow Dash snapped out of Soarin's distraction.
"If I kiss you will you stop..." Rainbow cooed. Soarin got off the bed and trotted over to his marefriend.
"Ok babe~" As Soarin went to lean in for a kiss, Rainbow Dash grabbed a pillow and let Soarin kiss the pillow. Soarin kissed the pillow not knowing nor caring what he was kissing. When he drifted apart from the pillow, he then realised he was kissing a pillow. "BABE! WHY?!" Soarin whined and then whimpered.
Rainbow Dash giggled and then sighed, "well it's your fault for distracting me for so long so I thought I'd get my little revenge."
"That's not fair, I thought you love me." Soarin whimpered again. Rainbow Dash chuckled, she liked it when Soarin was acting like a dork, but Soarin was Rainbow Dashes cute dork. Rainbow Dash always liked to be in control in their relationship but also liked Soarin taking the lead sometimes.
"Come on let's go, I'll treat you tonight how does that sound?" Rainbow Dash said.
Soarin's ears went up and raced over to hug his marefriend, "BABE!" Soarin shouted as he cuddled Rainbow Dash. The both embraced each other for a few minutes until they went over to Sugarcube corner to get breakfast.
One hour later...
After Soarin and Rainbow Dash got breakfast at Sugarcube corner, they decided to head straight over to Wonderbolt HQ and not waste anymore time. It was a thirty minute flight from Ponyville central to Wonderbolt HQ. Rainbow Dash didn't mind the flight but Soarin didn't like the long flight. Rainbow Dash tried to convince her coltfriend that the flight was quite short if you kept your mind busy but Soarin didn't listen to Rainbow Dash, as usual.
As that they were flying towards HQ, Soarin kept complaining if they were there or not. Rainbow Dash didn't like Soarin's behaviour, so she decided to try something that might shut Soarin up. She stopped and looked at Soarin with a dirty seductive look on her face and kissed him on the lips, passionately. Soarin was surprised by Rainbow's behaviour but liked it a lot.
Rainbow Dash ended the kiss and smirked. "What? Cat got your tongue~" Rainbow Dash giggled as she flew off to leave Soarin process what just happened.
"What just happened?" Soarin asked himself. Soarin couldn't put his hoof on why Rainbow Dash would suddenly act all flirty at a time like this. Not that Soarin liked his marefriends behaviour, he found it a bit strange. Soarin decided to drop the situation and catch up to Rainbow Dash before she went too far up to even catch up.
"Oh hey, you're back I see." Rainbow Dash replied.
"Hehe, yea. That was kinda strange what you did back there though. I'm curious, why did you do it?" Soarin asked Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash chuckled to herself, "didn't curiosity kill the cat Soarin?"
"What's up with you and cat's lately? You can't stop making cat puns, you make it a lot these days," Soarin laughed.
"I don't know, I've been doing them a lot lately," Rainbow Dash answered.
"Ok, but you still didn't answer my question though, why did you--" Soarin tried to ask Rainbow Dash his question but got interrupted by her.
"We're here! Come on let's go! I don't want to be late on our first day back!" Rainbow Dash shouted with excitement while racing over to HQ.
Soarin sighed then chuckled, well, thats just Dashie, cute when she's excited. But whose excited going back to work? Who knows with that mare, I love her anyways. Soarin caught up to Rainbow Dash and entered Wonderbolt HQ building together.
"Clipper! Crash! Yoo my peeps!" Fleetfoot exclaimed.
"Hey guys!" Surprise shouted and hugged both of them.
"Dudes, yo wassup with you?" Rapidfire said. Everypony was welcoming Soarin and Rainbow Dash back to Wonderbolt HQ.
"Hey guys," Soarin replied.
"Theres our late comers, surprised you two even showed up." Spitfire exclaimed while welcoming Rainbow Dash and Soarin back to HQ.
"Late?" Rainbow Dash mumbled.
"Didn't you two get the captains email or were you two busy making out with each other?" Thunderlane smirked.
Soarin and Rainbow Dash blushed in embarrassment, "WHAT THE FUCK THUNDERLANE!" Both Soarin and Rainbow Dash shouted.
"I-I mean, i-it's not like we did a-anything i-interesting. Just a few dates here and there thats all..." Rainbow Dash lied, slightly.
"Yea well, your social media and Soarin's tells us a different story about all these 'dates'." Fleetfoot replied.
"Your still the same old Fleetfoot aren't you?" Soarin chuckled.
"I'M NOT OLD YOU MUDAER--" Fleetfoot shouted at Soarin before getting into one of their usual cousin fights.
"Ok ok stop you two, before it turns into a cat fight." Rainbow Dash said as she broke up the fight against her coltfriend and her friend.
"Seriously Dashie, what is up with you and cats? Especially the puns?" Soarin asked.
"Ok ok, let's not make this day all about cats. We have a new routine to work on so let's go out there and practice!" Spitfire exclaimed while trying to hype everypony up. Everypony started to complain and groan loudly, "look I know you're all tired and all and yes it is Monday, but that doesn't mean we can slack off."
"Good job trying to be inspirational and all, but we are all tired and want this to end now," Fleetfoot replied.
Spitfire glared at Fleetfoot and then came up with n idea to convince her team to practice, "oh well. I guess I'll be the only one going over to Tapper's Bar tonight. What I shame, I was going to celebrate the new season with the song with drinks and also watching some strippers. I guess it'll just be a party of one then..." Spitfire explained dramatically.
"WE'RE GOING TO TAPPER'S BAR TONIGHT?!" Everypony shouted.
"Only the best of the best bars. I was going to treat you guys but if you don't come to practice, I don't see the point of going there..." Spitfire said.
"WE'LL GO CHANGE NOW!!" Everypony shouted and got changed into their uniform. Spitfire laughed at everypony's reaction to wanting to go to Tapper's Bar, a famous bar in Ponyville and one of the best bars in Equestria. Spitfire then realized she never actually made a reservation there, and knowing her teammates reactions when they find out that Spitfire bribed them was a bigger problem.
"Uhh, you guys go ahead and warm up! I have to sort some paperwork quickly before I get out on the field!" Spitfire shouted to her team as she raced over to her office.
