Prologue: Plestious

The birds outside chirped as the morning light poured in through Oswald's window. If only it was peaceful like the mornings, but that was only wishful thinking. With the whole Great Depression thing going on, it felt as if nothing was going to get better. Not only that but, news stated that the Nazi Party had invaded Poland three days ago. Luckily for him, President Franklin D Roosevelt declared America to be once again neutral for the war. Oswald yawned as the familiar voice of Petey called out.

"Mail for Oswald Burke Grey!" Oswald opened his window and poked his head out.

"I'm coming Petey just stay there!" Oswald called out.

"Well good morning Oswald!" Petey called up to him.

"Yes, yes good morning!" groaned Oswald. He jumped out of bed and began down the stairs scratching his head as he walked towards the door. He opened the door as Petey greeted him with a smile.

"How you doin' Oswald?" asked Petey.

"Geez, could seriously be this happy when this world is already going bad?" asked Oswald.

"Oh come on don't be like that!" said Petey grinning.

"Whatever, anyway what you got for me?" asked Oswald.

"Oh you'll love this, it's from your cousin," said Petey pulling out a small package.

"From, Brent?" asked Oswald.

"Yep," said Petey handing Oswald the package. "Anyway have a good day" said Petey walking off. Oswald sighed as he closed the door behind him.

"Geez what did he send me now?" Oswald groaned. He opened the package and pulled out a rusty brown chest with a lock attached to it. "Really Brent a chest?" He looked into the package a pulled out a small brown key that came along with the chest. "Well might as well see what's inside," Oswald inserted the key and tore off the lock. He slowly opened the chest to see that nothing was inside. "Great Brent yeah thanks for wasting my time with this stupid prank," Oswald tossed the chest onto the table and was about to head upstairs when a voice called out his name.

"Hey Oswald!"

Oswald stopped in his tracks and looked around the house but didn't notice anybody.

"Who the hell was that?" Oswald asked. Shaking it off he proceeded to continue upstairs when something began to glow behind him. He turned around as a bright light began shining from inside the chest. Oswald slowly walked over to the chest as a pillar of bright light erupted from the chest. Oswald quickly shielded his eyes as he fell back. Once the light died down, Oswald looked around to see nothing had changed. "The hell was that?" Just then, the chest slightly moved on it's own grabbing his attention. Oswald slowly got up and walked up to the chest as two small white paws reached out. Oswald took a step back as a small white creature emerged from the chest. The creature looked like a bunny but had small wings on it's back like a dragon. It had a long slender tail with a small diamond at the tip. It had a dog like snout and it's entire body was covered in white fur. It had white fox ears and small yellow rings were wrapped around it's wrists. A small turquoise diamond was wrapped around it's neck as a necklace or pendant. The creature yawned as it looked up at Oswald with small yellow eyes. The two stared at each other before Oswald yelped and fell back. The creature curiously hovered over to him. "Whoa stay back.....you...you bunny!" Oswald yelped.

"Hey I'm not a bunny," said the creature offended.

"What the....you can talk!?" Oswald yelped.

"Well duh, who do you think called out your name?" asked the creature. Oswald stopped short and shook his thoughts out.

"No way, this isn't possible, I don't exactly know what you are but, I can't risk having pets in here," said Oswald.

"Hey don't treat me like an animal, Brent sent me here for a reason," said the creature crossing it's arms.

"Look, I don't care, I didn't ask him to send me strange fluffy white creatures ok?" asked Oswald.

"Geez why you gotta be sour, I'm an important guest so you should at least treat me with respect," said the creature.

"Important in what way?" asked Oswald. The creature looked at him with a smirk.

"You don't know do you?" asked the creature.

"Know what?" asked Oswald.

"Oh you didn't read the letter?" asked the creature.

"Letter?" asked Oswald. He quickly grabbed the package and found a small envelope taped at the bottom of the package. He pulled out the letter and tore open the envelope. He quickly pulled out the letter and began to read.

Dear Cousin Oswald,
So I don't really know how to word this but, if this package manages to reach you, then that's good news for us. As you know there is a war against Germany going on in Europe. I didn't originally plan this, but my squad of soldiers and I were assigned to infiltrate the Nazi party's command center located in the capital of Poland. We managed to sneak in without getting caught but sneaking out was going to be another problem. But that's not important. What IS important is that we found this chest along with a second chest located in one of the German Officer's quarters. We decided to sneak out both chests but we only managed to escape with one before the second was retrieved by a German Guard. We didn't know what was contained in this, so we tried asking people in the nearby villages. We soon found out that this contained one half of an ancient being that was locked in here because of it's terrifying abilities. This being had the ability to open gates and portals that lead to another world or worlds, but only the good half of the being is locked away in here. However that means a bad half exists, and that half is currently in the hands of Germany. We hoped that if we sent this to you, you would be able to keep it safe for the time being, however we DO know that it won't use it's abilities unless you command it. It's name is Plestious. Please whatever you do, do not let Plestious fall into the hands of our enemies, we're counting on you.

Sincerely, Your British Cousin, Brent Burke Grey

Oswald slowly looks up at the creature who was flying in front of him with a smile. "So now you know," said the creature. He slowly looked back at the letter and folded it up again. "Oh come on, it's not that hard of a job," said the creature.

"It's not that," said Oswald.

"What is it then?" asked the creature.

"Plestious right?" asked Oswald.

"Yep," answered the creature happily.

"Is it true, that you have a bad side?" asked Oswald.

"Don't all living things do?" asked Plestious.

"Yeah, but that's not what I meant," answered Oswald.

"Then what DID you mean?" asked Plestious.

"That there is another part of you who has the same ability but with evil intentions?" asked Oswald.

"Yeah," answered Plestious.

"So that means, whoever summons that part of you, they will only use their ability to whoever summons them?" asked Oswald.

"Yeah," answered Plestious. "Why?"

"Oh shit, if that's the case, then this world could be in danger," said Oswald.

"Why?" Plestious asked tilting their head.

"Come on, we need to go," said Oswald.

"Wait where?" asked Plestious.

"To talk to the President," answered Oswald.

"Wait, but you're supposed to keep my identity a secret," said Plestious.

"Yeah but if we don't warn him of your other half then......." Oswald stopped himself. What would happen? Of course explaining to Roosevelt about Plestious would mean he's ignoring his cousin's request, but that would also mean putting the lives of many in danger. But he remembered that Roosevelt didn't want America to get involved in the war. But then how will the other nations deal with the Axis Powers? It was either saving the lives of the innocent or respecting his cousin's request and the beliefs of America. Oswald dropped his jacket as Plestious flew up to him.

"Come on Oswald, I think we should think about this later, right now let's get you some breakfast," said Plestious.

"Ok," said Oswald. He followed Plestious into the kitchen, but he couldn't get the thought out of his head. It was one way or another, and neither sounded good.

"So what exactly can you do aside from opening portals?" asked Oswald munching on his toast.

"Nothing else, just open portals," answered Plestious.

"That's it?" asked Oswald taking a sip of his coffee.

"What else did you expect from me?" asked Plestious picking up a bacon and shoving it into her mouth. "This stuff is good by the way,"

"I don't know, maybe summoning demons?" suggested Oswald.

"Oh please, I'm not THAT dangerous," said Plestious swallowing the bacon.

"Well can you show me your powers?" asked Oswald.

"Anything for my master!" Plestious cheered gleefully.

"And please don't call me that," groaned Oswald. Plestious ignored his comment and raised both of her paws up and out. She closed her eyes and inhaled as a small blue orb began to form in front of her paws. She pulled her arms in and thrusted them forward as a blue beam shot out and stopped six feet where she was from. A stream of light began to spiral around the beam until it was almost the size of Oswald. Before he knew it, Oswald was standing in front of a large portal. "What.....the......hell?" Suddenly the light inside the portal began to faze as something slowly came into view. Oswald took a step closer to see what was inside the portal. He could see a what seemed to be the inside of a castle with three colorful ponies walking down a large hallway. "What are those?"

"Wanna find out?" asked Plestious.

"What?" asked Oswald. Plestious suddenly grabbed Oswald's sleeve and began pulling him into the portal. "Wait Plestious I never asked to-" before he knew it, Oswald was sucked into the portal.

Twilight happily led Sunset and Starlight down the hall to Celestia's throne room as she flipped through one of her books on proper manners. They had been called in for a certain emergency regarding Luna. It was apparent that she had been seeing strange visions of something.

"Oh my goodness it's been a while since we've seen Princess Luna!" Twilight squealed.

"Well excited as ever," chuckled Starlight.

"You know how she is," said Sunset.

"Can you believe it solving a problem for Luna!?" Twilight cheered.

"Well actually I've done it before," reminded Starlight.

"Yeah but, me, no us!?" laughed Twilight excitedly.

"Sigh such an egghead," said Sunset. Twilight was about to go on another rant when a flash of light stopped the three mares.

"What is that?" asked Starlight looking up at a large blue portal that just appeared over their heads. Just as Twilight was about to say something a human and a strange creature fell out and crash landed on the ground. After the dust cleared they could see the human sitting up groaning.

"Damn it Plestious couldn't you have dropped us off nicely?" asked the human.

"Sorry master," apologized the creature.

"What just happened?" asked Sunset. The human slowly sat up and looked around his surroundings.

"Where the fuck am I?" asked the human.

"I don't know," answered the creature.

"Um are you alright?" asked Starlight stepping forward. The human looked up before scrambling to his feet.

"Whoa sorry she didn't mean to scare you," said Sunset.

"You just talked," said Oswald.

"Um yeah," said Sunset.

"You're a pony," said Oswald.

"Actually a unicorn, if you noticed the horn," said Sunset pointing to her horn.

"You're not supposed to talk," said Oswald.

"Well here, everypony talks," said Starlight. Oswald gave her a confused look.

"Everypony?"

"Yeah our native language," chuckled Starlight. Oswald froze for a moment then grabbed Plestious.

"I wanna go home," he whispered.

"Oh come on give them a chance," groaned Plestious.

"Nu uh, no way, fuck that noise, I am not staying here in a world with colorful talking ponies," said Oswald.

"Hmph, so what, you wanna to go back your world while you guys are at war?" scoffed Plestious.

"I already told you, America is NOT at war, that's Europe!" hissed Plestious.

"Wait what did you say?" asked Starlight.

"Yeah this guy's world is at war right now," said Plestious pointing her finger at Oswald.

"Uh, no we're not, we were just leaving so goodbye," said Oswald.

"Wait war, oh no we need to tell Princess Celestia about this!" said Twilight finally snapping back to reality.

"Welcome back Twilight," said Starlight.

"No, we are not," said Oswald. But before he could make anymore objections, Twilight suddenly grabbed him by the hand and began dragging him as he screamed to be let go. Meanwhile Starlight, Sunset, and Plestious followed them. Oswald was eventually led into a giant room where a white pony with pink green and blue mane was sitting on a throne. She wore a crown indicating that she was part of a royal bloodline.

"Princess Celestia we have arrived!" Twilight announced.

"Welcome my faithful student, and I see you brought a new friend with you," said the mare walking down the steps.

"Make that two new friends!" announced Plestious flying in followed by Starlight and Sunset.

"Oh my how cute," giggled Celestia

"Princess we're here for the emergency," said Twilight.

"Ah yes, Luna!" the mare called out. As Oswald was getting up, he noticed a slightly smaller mare with a blue overcoat and navy blue mane walking down from the steps.

"Sister, Twilight is here with some friends," said Celestia.

"Twilight thanks for coming," said Luna smiling.

"What is it you need Princess?" asked Sunset.

I've been having these strange visions lately, first I see these flying machines soaring over some island," answered Luna.

"Flying machines?" asked Starlight.

"Yes, they have these re dots on white rectangles imprinted on their tails, and the island they're flying over seems to be inhabited by humans," added Luna.

"Wait can you repeat that?" asked Oswald.

"Who are you?" asked Luna.

"My name is Oswald Burke Grey, now I ask once more, can you please repeat what's on the tail of these machines?" asked Oswald.

"They have these white rectangles with red dots in the center imprinted on the tails," repeated Luna.

"Oh hell no it can't be," said Oswald.

"What is it?" asked Starlight.

"Japanese Planes," mumbled Oswald.

"What?" asked Sunset.

"Please continue," said Oswald.

"Alright, well these human inhabited islands, they all seem to be of different race and they're all wearing different outfits," explained Luna. "They are these giant ships waiting for something obviously, and just when everything seems fine, things start exploding on the island,"

"What?" gasped Oswald.

"Humans are running around screaming, while those flying machines are dropping some sort of balls that explodes when landing on the ground, the ships that were in the water are now in flames and many humans are dead on the ground,"

"What does the island look like?" asked Oswald.

"It seems like it's part of several islands off a large piece of land," answered Luna. "Every night I think I can hear voices, some place called Pearl Harbor, then a date and time," answered Luna.

"When, what time?" asked Oswald.

"I think it was like, December 7th 1941, at 7:53 AM, 8:55 AM, and 9:45 AM," answered Luna. Oswald quickly turned towards Plestious.

"Plestious get me to a phone now!" Oswald ordered.

"Got it!" said Plestious. She quickly turned away from the five mares and opened up a portal leading into his house. She reached in and pulled the phone out, with the line still attached. Oswald grabbed the phone and began ringing the number of the military camp his cousin was in. He had given him the number after he was enlisted. He held the phone up to his ears and waited. Eventually somebody did pick up.

"General Oliver," said a male's voice.

"Hello my name is Oswald, may I speak to Grant B. Grey?" asked Oswald.

"Yeah hold on," said the man. There was some slight shuffling before he heard the sound of his cousin's voice.

"Yeah?" Grant asked.

"Grant it's me, listen I have some important information," said Oswald.

"Hey cuz, it's been a while, you get my package?" asked Grant.

"Yeah, I did, but now's not the time just listen for a moment alright?" asked Oswald.

"Yeah alright," said Grant.

"Listen, I need you to tell your general, that on December 7th 1941 at 7:53 AM, the Japanese are going to attack Pearl Harbor," said Oswald.

"What, Oswald that's like 2 years from now, how do you know this?" asked Grant.

"I just do, now don't waste time and warn Pearl Harbor about the attack," said Oswald.

"Cuz, I can't just tell my general to set up a military base on Pearl Harbor, what if it's a false alarm?" asked Grant.

"It's better to be prepared than get in trouble," said Oswald.

"I'm sorry cuz, but no can do, now if you'll excuse me I'm very busy right now so I'm hanging up," said Grant.

"Wait!" ordered Oswald. But before he could make any more objections Grant had hung up. "Damn that son of a gun!" yelled Oswald slamming the phone. "Come on Plestious," said Oswald.

"Where are we going?" asked Plestious.

"We have to tell the President," said Oswald.

"Wait what's going on?" asked Celestia.

"Nothing, now if you'll excuse me, I have to get going, it was very nice to meet you all but, I'm in a hurry so I'll be leaving," said Oswald. He quickly grabbed Plestious and walked through the portal. Celestia, Luna, Twilight, Sunset, and Starlight all looked each other confused.

"Go after him," ordered Celestia. Twilight nodded as she ran through the portal. Starlight and Sunset nervously followed after her leaving the two princesses behind.

Chapter 2: The Setup

November 21, 1941

2 years has past since Oswald has sent his warning to President Roosevelt and now, after so long the president has finally responded. Now as he walked through the halls of the white house, the war in Europe continued to rage on.

"I can't believe I agreed to take you with me," Oswald hissed at Twilight, Sunset, and Starlight.

"Hey it's the Princess's orders," argued Twilight.

"I guess but please don't do or say anything stupid let me handle the talking," said Oswald.

"Our mouths are shut," said Starlight.

"Mr Grey, the President is ready for you," said one of the bodyguards.

"Alright let's do this," said Oswald. The two bodyguards opened the door and let the five in.

"Mr. Grey I presume?" asked a man in a suit.

"President Roosevelt it's an honor to meet you," said Oswald shaking his hands.

"Same here Mr. Grey," said Roosevelt with a smile. "Now I got your letter about the attack, and I assume you would like to hear my thoughts on it," said Roosevelt.

"Yes sir," answered Oswald.

"I'm afraid I cannot fulfill your request Mr. Grey," answered Roosevelt.

"What but why?" asked Oswald.

"Well in all honesty, we can't just assume that the Japanese would come to us," answered Roosevelt. "I understand you're worried about our nation, but think of it like this, if the Japanese found out that we were going to plan a counter attack then they surely wouldn't think of attacking us out of the blue,"

"Yeah but....." Oswald stuttered.

"Look it's a risky choice but I promised America that we wouldn't get involved in another war, even if the Japanese did bomb Pearl Harbor in 16 days from now, we would've already known that the attack was coming," answered Roosevelt. "Which means that the military base would've been prepared to fight back against the Japanese, I can't possibly risk sending American troops to Pearl Harbor if they were ready for battle," added Roosevelt.

"But....but," Oswald couldn't find ways to counter his argument. He was right, this was not a risk he would take, even if the warning reached the military base, there was a chance that spies would retrieve the information and cancel the attack, if Pearl Harbor prepared for battle only to find out it was a false alarm things wouldn't go the way it would, America would just get attacked by the Japanese as retaliation. If that happened Roosevelt would have no choice but to drag the country into war breaking his promise. The blame would go onto Oswald if the allies lost this war. He can't be jumping to conclusions.

"I hope you can understand," said Roosevelt.

"Yes sir," said Oswald sounding disappointed.

"Look son, I'm sure we'll find a way to win this war, without getting dragged into it ourselves," said Roosevelt.

November 24 1941

Japanese soldier, Yamamoto Hideki, walked down the stairs and opened the door leading to the officer's main quarters. He saluted General Hideki Tojo as he stepped up to the table.

"Sir the military base has received the news of our attack by the American's and are preparing for battle, shall we cancel the attack?" Tojo scratched his chin as he looked down at the map of Hawaii. After all these years of planning, they got nothing out of it. How did the American's know? "Sir?" asked Yamamoto.

"Forget it I will not be outdone by those Americans!" announced Tojo. "We must come up with a new plan,"

"Maybe I can help," a voice spoke up. Tojo looked behind him in the dark corner of the room. A shadowy figure of Plestious flew out and smirked.

"We cannot let the world know you exist just yet Shadow Plestious," said Tojo.

"Oh come on, you know that Hitler wants you to do as much as you can while your in this war," said Shadow Plestious.

"Hmph, I take orders from Emperor Hirohito not a mischievous little brat," hissed Tojo.

"Geez such a sour puss," snickered Shadow Plestious. "Well what if I told you there is another world you can attack instead,"

"What?" asked Tojo.

"It's easy all you have to do is send a false lead to Pearl Harbor and then send in the real deal to this other world," said Shadow Plestious.

"That could work but do we really want to risk it?" asked Tojo.

"Hey nobody said YOU had to send in troops to this other world," said Shadow Plestious.

"What do you have in mind?" asked Tojo. Shadow Plestious smirked wickedly as he summoned a portal.
