Pinkie Pie discovers a new type of mushroom that causes extreme flatulence.
Pinkie Pie discovers a new type of mushroom growing all over a forest. She tries one, and it makes her ridiculously gassy. After having Rainbow Dash try one, the two decide to have fun with it, and sneak them to some of their friends. Leading to a big farting contest between the two fart-loving females.
Contains: Fart (obviously), ridiculous unrealistic levels of it, and some brief non-descriptive instances of watersports. And sweat, if that's a thing. No scat this time, it might be too big a turn-off to anyone who would enjoy it otherwise.
If you neither have the fetish for it nor find it funny, not recommended for you. It's not meant to offend anyone who is disgusted by it, and if you are, ignore it. Also, well, you know the usual drills for my stories, don't take too seriously and don't expect much of an actual "story".
Of all my fart stories this takes it to the most extreme. And by "extreme" I mean ridiculously high levels of gassiness. I tried to make it equally appealing to the two types of people who are interested in it.
Pinkie Pie was going for a walk, as it was a beautiful summer day. She was wearing short, tight jean shorts.
After walking outside for about an hour, she was feeling a little hot, so she walked into the woods to find some shade.
She was just enjoying the slight decrease in temperature when she saw some mushrooms she had never seen before. They were brownish mushrooms with dark yellowish green spots on them.
They looked simply delicious. And, her instincts told her they weren't poisonous. So, she picked one up and ate it. It tasted about the same as any other mushroom.
She had turned around and was walking further into the woods for only ten seconds when she felt an intense pressure in her bowels like never before. Pinkie knew what it was, and, being Pinkie Pie, unabashedly let it out.
PPPPPFFFFFT!
Pinkie giggled at her fart, but it didn't stop there.
PPPPRRRRRT! FFFFFFRRRRTTTT!
Pinkie continued to giggle at her sudden gassiness. She lifted her leg and let out another loud, high-pitched fart that lasted seven seconds. Then she lifted her other leg and farted for eleven seconds.
Ten minutes later, Pinkie was still farting. She still thought it was absolutely hilarious. She had never farted this much unless she either consumed lots of fart powder or ate lots of beans. After a loud 15-second fart, she corrected herself. She had only farted this much when eating beans WITH fart powder on them.
While still standing up, Pinkie stuck her rear end out a little.
FFFFFFRRRRRRRRT!
Nine seconds later she finished farting and giggled, slapping her butt lightly. Then, she sat down with her legs spread apart and her knees raised.
BBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRT!
Pinkie giggled more at this deep-pitched, 12-second fart. Then she got down an all fours like a pony and stuck her behind in the air, releasing a flurry of loud, high-pitched farts, ranging from one second to fifteen.
Half an hour later, Pinkie was still farting up a storm, and only now she started to wonder why she was so gassy. What had she eaten today that would make her like this? Just some eggs and cake for breakfast, and some gummy bears, and... that mysterious mushroom that had suddenly appeared out of nowhere. There was no doubt about it. The mushroom was causing her gassiness. This mushroom was ten times better at it than beans.
PPPPPFFFFFFFFFRRRRRRRRRRT! *prrrrt*
Maybe twenty times.
Make that a hundred times, she thought, once she had been farting for a whole hour straight. She had found it funny the whole time, but now she was starting to get a little concerned, for she just couldn't stop farting!
After a 17-second wet fart, she just stayed in the position with her tushie in the air, hoping her gassiness wouldn't be permanent. As funny as she thought it was, she didn't want to be farting every single moment of her life. None of the other girls except Rainbow Dash would ever want to go near her again. They especially wouldn't want to go near her rear end to give her the butt massages she liked so much, and which Rarity and Fluttershy would usually give her.
About a hundred farts later...
PPPPPRRRRRRT! "MAKE IT STOP!" BBBBBRRRRT! "I GOTTA GO PEE!" FFFFFRRRRRT! "Oops... never mind..." PPPPPFFFFT!
Eventually Pinkie lay on her side, still farting non-stop, and wishing it would just end already!
And then, after two hours total - and a countless number of farts - it did.
Pinkie was panting heavily, and sat up. She was exhausted and smelled of farts, as did the entire area around her, but her gas was gone. It seemed the mushroom only made her fart for two hours.
Now that she knew it wasn't permanent, she could enjoy it to the fullest extent! It was really funny, and to her, it was really fun to fart.
She was about to eat another mushroom, but stopped. She knew someone who loved to fart as much as she did. Someone who would also fully appreciate her newfound discovery.

Rainbow Dash was doing some exercises, wearing her usual skintight black shorts under her dark pink skirt, when she heard the doorbell ring. She opened the door to see Pinkie Pie.
"Hey Dashie! I got something I KNOW you're gonna love!"
"Pinkie... did you pee in your shorts?"
Pinkie blushed lightly, for she hadn't changed before heading to Rainbow's house.
"Well... yeah, but that's not important right now!"
"And what's that other smell?"
"You're about to find out!" Pinkie held out one of the mushrooms. "Try it!"
"If you say so." Rainbow ate one of the mushrooms.
Seconds later, she felt something she knew - and loved - all too well. She lifted her leg.
PPPPPRRRRRRRRRT!
Pinkie giggled, and Rainbow chuckled. Then she let out five more loud farts.
She laughed along with Pinkie after the first ten minutes. Then...
"Seriously Pinkie, what-" FFFFFRRRRRRRT! "was in that-" BBBBBRRRRRAAAAAAP! "mushroom?"
"It's an entirely new type of mushroom I discovered in the woods," said Pinkie. "It makes you fart a lot for a LONG time!"
"That's so cool!" BBBBBRRRRRRRT! "I don't think I'll need that fart powder-" PPPPPPPFFFFFFT! "again! Hey, how long does it-" PPPPPPRRRRRRRT! "last for?"
"I'll let that be a surprise," said Pinkie.
An hour later, Rainbow was damp with sweat, already hot from her workout, and now with how often and how long she was farting, and Pinkie was still laughing her butt off.
"Are you sure this-" PPPPPPPFFFFFFT! "ever wears off?"
"Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye!"
Rainbow relaxed, then stuck her butt in the air and let out a boisterous 21-second fart. A few airy farts later, she released a deeper-pitched fart that lasted 13 seconds. Pinkie laughed so hard Rainbow thought she was going to have another accident.
Finally, Rainbow stopped farting, and she seemed a little disappointed that it was done.
"How long was I farting for?" said Rainbow Dash.
"Two hours," said Pinkie.
"This mushroom is amazing! How many of them were there?"
"They were all over the forest, and I don't think they're gonna stop growing there anytime soon! We should have a farting contest!"
"Maybe. But, why don't we use them for pranks first?"
"Oooh, sounds fun! But promise me you won't give them to Fluttershy, or fart in front of her, or make me or anyone else fart in front of her."
"Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye. Now, who should we prank first?"
It was the day after Pinkie Pie had discovered the gassy mushrooms. Both Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle received an invitation to a party at Rainbow's house.
When they arrived, Sunset was wearing a white and pink T-shirt and jeans, and Twilight was wearing short, purple shorts. Rainbow Dash was wearing her usual outfit, and Pinkie Pie was wearing her usual pink skirt.
"Welcome to this random party!" said Pinkie. "Here, have some cider!"
Sunset and Twilight each took a glass of cider from Pinkie's hand and drank it.
Pinkie and Rainbow giggled and did a fist bump. Pinkie had used her explosive power to turn two mushrooms into powder - extra-powerful fart powder - and put enough equal to one mushroom in each cup of cider. Pinkie and Rainbow planned to make Sunset and Twilight unwittingly have a farting contest. Rainbow and Pinkie bet on who would win. Rainbow bet on Sunset, Pinkie bet on Twilight. The loser would have to let the winner sit on them and fart for two hours after eating a gassy mushroom.
Ten seconds after drinking their cider, Sunset and Twilight were looking uncomfortable.
"Um..." said Twilight. "I have to go to the-"
PPPPPPFFFFFFFFT!
Twilight blushed and giggled nervously. "Excuse me..."
Sunset groaned. "I'm not feeling too good my-"
FFFFFFFFFRRRRRRRRRRT!
Sunset blushed. "Excuse me, that was very unladylike."
Rainbow and Pinkie were laughing hard, and Twilight felt a little better knowing Sunset was having the same problem as her.
"Uhhhh..." said Twilight, bending over slightly.
PPPPPPPPFFFFFFFRRRRRRRRRT!
Pinkie had to hold in her laughter to time this fart - six seconds - and then doubled over laughing again.
Sunset let out five loud farts, but each was about one to three seconds long. Rainbow was keeping score of her, but wasn't sure she'd be able to time Sunset's farts with how hard she was laughing at them.
As Twilight released a series of wet farts, Sunset groaned and stuck her butt out a bit. Rainbow got close to her.
BBBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRTTTT!
This fart was seven seconds long. Rainbow had to remember this, and she continued to laugh hard.
"This is so-" FFFFFFFRRRRRRT! "embarrassing," said Twilight. "I'm usually not this-" PPPPPFFFFFT! "gassy. It must have been-" PPPPPRRRRRT! "something I ate!"
Sunset eyed Rainbow suspiciously. "You didn't-" PPPPPRRRRRT! "put something in our-" PPPPPFFFFFFFT! "drinks by any chance, did you?" BBBBBBBRRRRRRT!
"No," said Rainbow Dash in the middle of laughing hard.
Within half an hour, Sunset and Twilight's farts were getting longer. Twilight was on her back with her legs in the air, and Sunset was on her knees with her butt in the air.
BBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!
"15 seconds," said Rainbow Dash, patting Sunset's butt lightly, then moving away slightly as a short but loud fart came after. "That's a record for you."
PPPPPPPPPPPPFFFFFFFFFFFFRRRRRRRRT!
"16 seconds!" said Pinkie, who was sitting close to Twilight, but keeping a bit of a distance from her rear.
"When is this gonna end?" said Sunset after three farts that were between three and six seconds long.
"Two hours from when you first started farting," said Rainbow. "So, you might as well just have fun with it, and do it in front of people who find it funny."
"Fine," said Sunset, farting for 12 seconds.
An hour into the contest, Twilight let out a series of boisterous wet farts that were between one and three seconds long, and Sunset did the same, though some of her farts were for four seconds. Twilight's farts were wetter, and some of Sunset's farts were deeper.
They farted like this for fifteen minutes straight, and Pinkie laughed so hard she wet herself. Rainbow was laughing just as hard.
After an hour and a half, Twilight stood up.
"Well, I think I-"
PPPPPPPFFFFFFFFFFFFFRRRRRRRRRRRRT!
Pinkie laughed really hard, but at the same time, kept track of how long it was. It was 18 seconds.
Meanwhile, Sunset was still farting, but her farts weren't any longer than eight seconds now.
"Come on, Sunny," said Rainbow, slapping Sunset's butt lightly. "You can fart longer than that!"
FFFFFFRRRRRRT!
"Phew, your farts smell worse than mine," said Rainbow, who was keeping a distance from Sunset's butt because she didn't want to get farted in the face.
A couple minutes later, Sunset let out a boisterous wet fart that lasted 19 seconds.
"That's more like it, Sunny," said Rainbow, patting Sunset's butt again. Sunset blushed, but giggled a bit.
Twilight, meanwhile, was also starting to giggle slightly at her farts. Rainbow and Pinkie thought it was funny and she was gassier than she had ever been in her life, so why not make light of it?
For the remainder of the contest, Twilight and Sunset's farts ranged from one second to ten, but there were no more farts longer than 19 seconds. Sunset and Twilight were panting when their farting had stopped.
"Is that it?" said Twilight.
"Looks like it to me," said Sunset.
"18 seconds!" said Pinkie.
"19 for Sunset!" said Rainbow. "I win!"
"So, you were making us have a farting contest?" said Sunset.
"Of course!" said Rainbow.
Sunset and Twilight giggled a bit.
"Well, it was a little funny," said Sunset.
"But please don't give us that stuff if anyone else is around," said Twilight.
Both Pinkie and Rainbow did the Pinkie Pie promise not to, and they got on with their party. They had to open the window because the room smelled really bad from Sunset and Twilight's farts.
Once Twilight and Sunset were home, Rainbow said "Now, time for the last part of our bet."
Pinkie laid facedown. Rainbow ate one of the mushrooms and sat on Pinkie's butt.
Both Rainbow and Pinkie laughed with each fart, and Pinkie peed again about 50 minutes in.
The day after Sunset and Twilight's farting contest, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie met up at Pinkie's house. Rainbow Dash was wearing her usual outfit again, and Pinkie was wearing a frilly light blue skirt.
"Last night was awesome," said Rainbow Dash. "I haven't laughed that hard in so long!"
"Me neither," said Pinkie Pie. "We should totally do something like that again!"
"Let's hang out with our friends today. We don't want to leave them hanging for too long. But, tomorrow, let's prank someone else."
"Who?"
"I've always wanted to hear Rarity fart."
...
The next day, Pinkie Pie knocked on Rarity's door. She was now wearing her usual pink skirt.
When Rarity opened the door, wearing her usual purple skirt, Pinkie said "Hey Rarity! Can you help me decorate the party house for a big party I'm throwing over there? I need your fabulouslousness!"
"Why not?" said Rarity. "I don't really have anything else to do today."
...
Rainbow Dash, still wearing her usual outfit, put not one but two powdered mushrooms into a glass of cider.
When Pinkie and Rarity arrived, Rainbow walked over to her and held out the cider.
"It's a hot day today, so here's some refreshments!"
Rarity drank the cider, and Rainbow and Pinkie giggled. The most feminine girl they knew was about to have a very unladylike four hours!
"You did use the bathroom before you got Rarity, right?" Rainbow whispered to Pinkie, who nodded.
After Rarity set down her glass, her stomach growled. "If you'll excuse me, before I start the decorations I need to-"
FFFFFFFRRRRRRRRRRRRT!
Rarity blushed beet red while Rainbow and Pinkie laughed. Since Rarity was going to be the only one farting, they wouldn't have to time them this time.
"It's not funny!" said Rarity.
PPPPPFFFFFFFT!
Rainbow and Pinkie laughed harder.
After a minute of farting, Rarity walked over to the door.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you!" said Rainbow Dash. "Do you want everyone in the city to hear you fart? In here it's just us!"
Rarity turned around and tried to hold in her gas, but after about a minute...
PPPPPPPPPPPPFFFFFFFFFFFFRRRRRRRRRT!
She farted for 14 seconds, and the force of this fart actually caused her skirt to blow a bit behind her. Rainbow and Pinkie laughed harder.
"Rainbow Dash!" PPPPFFFFFFFT! "You didn't have-" FFFRRRRRRRT! "anything to do with-" PPPPRRRRRT! "this, did you?"
"Me and her set this up!" said Pinkie, who got back to laughing hard.
"Oh, you two are-" PPPPFFFFFT! "totally gonna" PPPBBBBBTTTTH! "get it!" BBBBRRRRT
Rarity sat down on a couch, hoping the cushion would muffle the sound of her farts, but they were still very loud and in some cases, very long. Rainbow and Pinkie continued to laugh.
After half an hour of farting...
"Seriously, what did you-" *prrrrrt* "put in my-" BBBBRRRRRT! "drink?"
"The most powerful fart powder in the world!" said Rainbow.
Rarity stood up and tried to hold it in again, sweating from the effort, but ended up farting very loudly for 19 seconds. This was the same length as Sunset's longest fart, and Rainbow and Pinkie laughed harder.
"Nice one, Rarity," said Rainbow when she was finally able to stop her giggle fit.
An hour later, Rarity stopped trying to hold it in, even sweatier than before not only from trying to hold it in, but from the hot day, and the embarrassment of farting so much. After a 16-second fart, she laid on her back and raised her legs in the air. Rainbow and Pinkie could see her purple panties but she didn't care.
"Why oh why-" BBBBRRRRAAAAP! "did this have to happen-" FFFFFRRRT! PPPRRRRT! "to me?"
Rarity let out a series of boisterous wet farts, ranging from one second to fifteen, and Rainbow and Pinkie fell on their backs and kicked their legs in the air laughing harder than ever. As funny as it was for them to fart, or hear each other fart, or Sunset and Twilight, it was even more funny to hear prissy, ladylike Rarity fart so loud and so long.
Fifty minutes later, Rarity's farts were getting louder and longer, and Rainbow and Pinkie Pie were laughing harder. Rarity was now dripping with sweat to the point that her skirt was soaked through. As a result, her farts were even wetter.
Just under the two hour milestone, Rarity released a flurry of loud farts from three to seven seconds, and Rainbow Dash wet her shorts from laughing too hard.
About five minutes later, Rarity got to her feet, farting several times in the process. Finally she stood up.
"You think this is so funny, do you?" said Rarity. "Well, let's see if you're still laughing after this!"
Rarity walked over to Rainbow and Pinkie, who were laying side by side. She positioned her butt directly in front of their faces.
Their laughter stopped almost immediately as they realized what she was about to do.
Rarity farted in their faces for 24 seconds. Rainbow and Pinkie began gagging on the stench, and Rarity continued to fart in their faces until they couldn't take it anymore and fainted.
But Rarity didn't stop there. She continued to fart on them. She wasn't sure how long she'd be gassy for, but at the moment all she could think about was her revenge.
An hour after knocking out Rainbow and Pinkie, Rarity had to go to the bathroom. She tried to hold it in as she made her way to the bathroom. Occasionally a loud fart would make its way out of her rear. Her gas was making it hard to hold it.
She finally reached the bathroom, hiked up her skirt, and sat on the toilet. Only after she started peeing did she realize she had left her underwear up. She hung her head, farting for seven seconds at the same time.
Once she was done, she returned to Rainbow and Pinkie and continued to fart on them, occasionally sitting on them before farting.
After about twenty minutes, Rainbow and Pinkie started to wake up. Rarity farted in their faces again, and they went out cold again.
When Rarity finally stopped farting, she was initially disappointed, but then relieved that she wouldn't be farting anymore. Well, not more than usual anyway. But when she wasn't this gassy she could fart silently. Rainbow and Pinkie had no idea she had once farted fairly close to them.
She quickly checked to see if they were still breathing, and they were.
She was satisfied at her revenge and would forgive them when they woke up. If they didn't do it again, and if they did, she'd forgive them after farting on them again. She patted her butt lightly and giggled. Some part of her had found it fun.
Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were taking a cold shower, still wearing their outfits from today, to get the fart smell off them. They smelled really bad from Rarity farting on them for two hours straight.
They had apologized to Rarity and promised never to make her fart again. Rarity had forgiven them and said they could, as long as no one else was around and they didn't mind her farting on them again.
"Yeah, that's not something I really wanna repeat," said Rainbow Dash.
"I don't mind being farted on," said Pinkie Pie. "As long as it's not my face."
"So, the other girls have their own plans tomorrow. What do you say we have a farting contest... with THREE mushrooms? Just you and me!"
"Sounds super-duper-ultra-mazing!" Pinkie and Rainbow did a rump bump.
...
They met up at Rainbow's house at 8:30 in the morning. Rainbow was wearing short skintight athletic blue shorts (a darker shade than her), and a matching midriff tank top, and Pinkie was wearing her jean shorts, which she had washed after the last time she wore them.
First, Rainbow cooked up some baked beans for breakfast, saving some for lunch. This would only increase their gassiness, but probably not by much compared to how much they were going to be farting today!
They each drank a big glass of water and a cup of cider. At 9:00, they were ready to have their contest.
At the same time, Rainbow and Pinkie ate three gassy mushrooms each. This would make them even gassier than Rarity had been yesterday.
For ten seconds, they felt nothing.
And then, all at once, both girls let loose with a flurry of boisterous wet farts, ranging from one second to three, in Rainbow's case, four. Pinkie's farts were higher-pitched than most of Rainbow's farts.
Rainbow and Pinkie were laughing within half a minute. This was even better than Sunset and Twilight's farting contest! In part due to them being the ones farting, for they thought it was really fun to fart.
They weren't sure they'd be able to keep track of how long they were, but at the moment, none of their farts seemed to last very long.
Five minutes in, the room was starting to smell very bad, so Rainbow opened the windows and turned on the fan, all the while farting and chuckling at it. This aired out the room a bit, though Rainbow and Pinkie could still smell the farts. But, it wasn't as bad as being farted in the face by Rarity. Plus, they were used to each others' farts, since they would often fart in front of each other.
An hour went by, and there was not a moment of silence in the house, just the continuous sound of loud farts and hysterical laughter.
"Hold on..." said Rainbow, catching her breath after her fit of laughter at Pinkie's latest farts. "This one feels bigger!" She lifted her leg.
PPPPPPPPFFFFFFFFFRRRRRRT!
Rainbow sighed in relief as she let out a loud wet fart that lasted 13 seconds. She made a mental note to remember this time for the contest, while Pinkie laughed so hard she involuntarily farted several times, which made her laugh even harder. Which in turn made her fart even louder.
As Pinkie kicked her legs in the air, she let out a high-pitched, wet, 12-second fart.
PPPPPPPPFPFFFFFFFFFFT!
Now Rainbow was involuntarily farting from laughing too hard, and laughing harder as a result, because it was funnier for her when the farts were unexpected. She was laying almost face-down and banging her fist on the ground, tears streaming from her eyes as her farts grew louder, more boisterous, and, slowly, longer.
It went this way for the second hour, their farts increasing in length. At the end of the hour the length of their farts ranged from three seconds to fifteen in Pinkie's case, and sixteen in Rainbow's. Pinkie knew Rainbow could fart better than her, but she didn't mind, farting contests were just so fun for her even if she always lost.
Rainbow and Pinkie were a little sweaty now from farting and laughing so hard, so they drank some water occasionally, able to hold in their laughter but not their farts.
People walking by the house could hear the loud farting from the sidewalk because the windows were open, and many of them chuckled. Even Fluttershy giggled a bit as she was going for a walk in the neighborhood. She knew how much Rainbow and Pinkie loved to fart, and didn't mind as long as they weren't right next to her.
Over the third hour, Rainbow and Pinkie's farts became longer, and also louder, as well as a little wetter because they were damp with sweat. With the exception of a few short farts in-between, their farts now ranged from 7 seconds to 19. In the middle of this hour, Rainbow breaking this record with a loud 20-second fart.
"Ha! 20 seconds! Try to beat that!" Rainbow turned around and slapped her butt.
Pinkie was beside herself with laughter, kicking her legs in the air and accidentally farting non-stop.
By the end of the third hour, it was noon. Rainbow and Pinkie didn't want to fart on an empty stomach, so Rainbow microwaved the beans she had saved for lunch, and she and Pinkie sat at the table. They were barely able to hold in their laughter as they ate the beans, for they continued to break wind very loudly despite their attempts to hold it in.
They washed them down with another glass of water each, and resumed their farting contest. Not that their farting really stopped during lunch, but at least now they could laugh at it again.
Over the fourth hour, occasionally their farts would get even longer. At one point, both of them farted at the same time, and while they were able to time them, they continued to laugh their butts off at it.

Pinkie's fart stopped at 32 seconds, while Rainbow's stopped at 33. Rainbow could tell Pinkie stopped farting a second before her because Pinkie's fart was much higher-pitched, while Rainbow's was one of her more deeper-pitched farts.
None of their farts got longer than 30 seconds for the remainder of the fourth hour. But by the end of it, all the water they drank was starting to affect them.
"I gotta go pee!" said Pinkie. "But I don't-" PPPPPPFFFFFFFFT! "wanna stop farting!"
"I gotta go too," said Rainbow. "I'll be-" FFFFRRRRRRT! "right back!" PPPPFFFFT! "But, I could stay a little longer!"
They couldn't stop farting, and knew they wouldn't be able to for another two hours. Occasionally one of them would start to walk towards the bathroom, but then when both she and the other farted more, they couldn't help but stay, still laughing hard.
Just under 20 minutes into the fourth hour, Rainbow could feel a really big fart coming. She got down on all fours and raised her behind in the air.
The loudest fart yet made its way out of Rainbow's rear, and she pushed harder to fart even louder. The intensity of the fart caused her to pee ten seconds in, but she didn't care, she was sure this fart would win the contest for her!
Only six seconds into this fart, Pinkie fell on her back, kicking her legs in the air as she laughed harder than ever, tears pouring down her face in torrents now and a series of loud, boisterous, wet farts making their way out of her tushie. Fifteen seconds into Rainbow's fart, Pinkie was wetting her shorts from laughing too hard.
Rainbow's fart lasted 20 seconds. 30. 40. 50. With each second Pinkie laughed harder, and her farts made Rainbow laugh too.
After a minute and three seconds, Rainbow's long fart was over.
"That's a new record for me!" said Rainbow.
"Nice one Dashie!" said Pinkie once she was finally able to stop laughing. "I don't think I could ever top that!" PPPRRRRT!
For the fifth hour, their farts started to become shorter, ranging from three seconds to eleven. Rainbow and Pinkie were still laughing hard the entire time, and often farting involuntarily from it after hearing a particularly loud and/or long fart.
The sixth hour went the same way, although there was a time Pinkie raised her butt in the air and let out a boisterous, wet, 47-second fart. Rainbow was impressed, and laughed harder at it.
"That must be my new record," said Pinkie, slapping her butt lightly. "Of course, you're still winning!"
Finally, after a total of six hours, Rainbow and Pinkie stopped farting. Once they caught their breath, dripping in sweat from their intense farting and laughter, they were disappointed that their gas was gone.
"I win," said Rainbow, panting.
"Good game, Dashie," said Pinkie. Rather than shake hands, they stood up and did a rump bump.
"I've got some extra mushrooms," said Rainbow, for Pinkie had showed them where they were and she'd picked some herself. "How about we take a bath and fart in the tub?"
Pinkie squealed in excitement, accidentally peeing a little more, but her shorts were already soaked with sweat so it hardly made a difference.
Rainbow filled the bathtub with water, and then, without bothering to undress (their shorts were already wet and smelled like farts), she and Pinkie got into the tub. She and Pinkie each ate a mushroom, and for the next two hours straight, their tub seemed like a hot tub with bubbles, only a lot smellier.
"Hey, Pinkie, have you ever wondered where those mushrooms came from?" said Rainbow in the middle of their fart-filled bath.
"Who cares?" said Pinkie. "They're so much fun!"
"And they're completely harmless, if you don't mind farting for the next few hours. But I've never seen anything like them before, and they don't seem very natural. Do you think Equestrian magic made them appear?"
"Probably. It makes so much sense, after all that stuff at Camp Everfree. And there always seems to be so many of them in the forest no matter how many of them I pick, so they grow extra-fast."
"First ponying up, then super speed, and now hours of farting! This Equestrian magic's getting better and better!"
"Rainbow Dash, just who I wanted to see," said Rarity. "How would you like to take part in a fashion show today featuring these beautiful dresses?" She showed Rainbow Dash some of them. "These are only five of the fifty I'm entering into the fashion show!"
"Eh, not really interested," said Rainbow Dash.
"Please please PLEASE?"
"I'd rather be playing soccer with Applejack."
"If you do, then, next chance we get, I'll... I'll eat one of those mushrooms you found and have a farting contest with you and Pinkie Pie."
"For real?"
Rarity held out her hand and Rainbow Dash shook it. Part of Rarity was even looking forward to the farting contest.

That afternoon, Rainbow Dash appeared onstage wearing each of Rarity's dresses, each one over her main outfit. On the 11th outfit, she farted loudly onstage, causing the audience to laugh. And because she had sneaked in a soccer game with Applejack right before the fashion show, she had drank lots of cider afterward, and ended up wetting Rarity's 50th outfit, a sparkly purple dress. She was a little embarrassed, but found the situation funny as well. Rarity was miffed, but assured her the deal was still in place.

The next day, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity had the entire day to themselves, so they arranged for the farting contest to take place. Rarity was wearing her usual purple skirt and a dirty pair of panties from earlier this week. She had Rainbow show her where the mushrooms were, and Rainbow suspected an ulterior motive behind it. Rainbow was wearing her usual black compression shorts, which had almost dried since yesterday.
They reached Rainbow's house at 7:50 in the morning to find Pinkie Pie and Sunset Shimmer sitting on the couch waiting for them. Today Pinkie Pie was wearing her usual pink skirt, and Sunset was wearing a white and pink T-shirt and jean shorts.
"What's Sunset doing here?" said Rarity.
"I asked Sunset and Twilight if they wanted to go another round of the farting contest," said Pinkie. "Twilight was too busy reshelving, but Sunset said she's up for it!"
Sunset blushed lightly. "It was a little funny last time. I didn't know you were into that kind of thing too."
"I'm not," said Rarity. "I made a deal with Rainbow Dash so she could wear my dresses at the fashion show."
"We should invite Applejack," said Rainbow Dash.
"I already asked her, and although she loves to compete with you, she doesn't find it very funny."
"Well that's one thing we have in common," said Rarity.
"So are we gonna have three mushrooms today?" said Pinkie Pie.
"Hell yeah!" said Rainbow Dash. "And, I cooked some beans for everyone. Except Rarity, who requested the salad. Of course the rest of us will be farting a LITTLE more than her!"
"I said I'd compete," said Rarity. "I didn't say I'd try to win."
Rainbow was at least satisfied she'd get to hear Rarity fart for six hours straight.
"Now, everyone, time your own farts, cause no one else is going to, and be honest about how long they are! And if you have to use the bathroom, you can go ahead, but any farts in the bathroom won't count, cause they'll be harder to hear over the farting outside!"
"That doesn't bother me," said Rarity. "I just hope I remember to pull my underwear down this time." She blushed.
Pinkie giggled. "I'll probably stay in here the whole time!"
"Oh, and no face-farting!" said Rainbow Dash.
They each ate three mushrooms and washed them down with a glass of water.
Rainbow opened all the windows and turned on the fan. "We might need that."
Rarity was grateful.
Immediately after, a series of loud, boisterous farts erupted out of all four girls' rears, ranging from one second to four. They didn't bother timing them yet, because their farts weren't long enough, but Rainbow and Pinkie were laughing hard, and Sunset was giggling a bit. Even Rarity enjoyed letting loose a little.
After an hour of farting, their farts started to get longer, ranging from three seconds to thirteen.
Sunset lifted her leg.
BBBBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT!
She blushed lightly and giggled at the sound of her deep-pitched, 12-second fart.
"Ooooh, let's see if I can top that!" said Pinkie, and she bent over.
PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT!
A higher-pitched, 13-second fart blasted out of her rear, blowing her dress back so her dark pink panties were visible. Rainbow and Sunset giggled, and so did Pinkie when she was done.
"This feels like a big one," said Rainbow Dash. As Pinkie, Sunset, and Rarity let out some much shorter farts, Rainbow lifted her leg.
BBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!
This was the loudest fart today, and, so far, the longest, at 16 seconds. Rainbow looked very proud of herself.
"Nice one Dashie," said Pinkie, slapping Rainbow's butt. "You're gonna win this for sure!" PPPPFFFFFFT!
"Uhhhh..." groaned Rarity, who had been trying to hold them in now, either to not be heard farting as much, or because she actually wanted her farts to be longer, she wasn't sure which and was a little annoyed at herself for possible thinking the latter. She turned away so she couldn't see their faces when she let this one out.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFRRRRRRRRRRRRT!
Rarity farted for 14 seconds. It was a loud, wet fart that blew her dress back just like Pinkie's longest fart.
"Nice underwear, Rarity!" giggled Pinkie at the sight of Rarity's purple panties, farting a few more times. Rainbow and Sunset giggled as well, also letting a few short farts.
Rarity blushed, and tried to hold it in again.
Sunset let out three loud farts, each one 8 or 9 seconds long.
In the middle of Sunset's second fart, Pinkie let out a higher-pitched 11-second fart.
Rainbow farted for 16 seconds again just as Pinkie was almost done farting. "Damn, the same as last time!"
"I didn't think this could be so much fun," said Sunset. She bent over and released a loud, wet fart that lasted 15 seconds.
"Wow, you almost beat my longest fart!" said Rainbow, slapping Sunset's butt playfully. Sunset giggled.
Rarity couldn't hold it any longer. She turned away and bent over from the effort of holding it in. She knew it was inevitable but she wanted to put it off as long as possible. Or possibly win this contest.
This fart was not as loud as Rainbow Dash's last fart, but lasted 17 seconds, and blew Rarity's dress back again.
"If I didn't know any better I'd say that's the longest fart in this entire contest!" said Rainbow Dash, slapping Rarity's butt.
Rarity blushed and giggled nervously.
Over the second hour of the contest, their farts didn't get any longer than 16 seconds. On the third hour, however, they started to get as long as 26 seconds. Rainbow was able to set the record at 27, although each of the other three was able to fart for 26 seconds exactly.
The room was smelling a lot like farts even with the window open and fan on, but they didn't mind, and it was still better than being face-farted. They were also drinking lots of water, for they were getting very sweaty from farting so much.
Sunset let out a loud, deep-pitched fart for 23 seconds that had Rainbow and Pinkie laying on their backs, kicking their legs in the air from laughing too hard. Sunset giggled, for Pinkie's underwear was visible again. Rainbow and Pinkie laughed so hard they involuntarily let out more farts, which made them laugh even harder! Pinkie also wet herself, for she was so excited she hadn't taken her morning pee.
"How long will three mushrooms make us fart for?" said Sunset, farting loudly at the end of the sentence.
Rainbow stood up, pausing to fart. "Six hours! So, we've got about... 3 hours and 21 minutes to go!"
"I forgot how long these-" PPPPPPPFFFFFFFFT! "last for," said Rarity.
"Just have fun with it," said Rainbow. "You gotta admit, it is kind of fun to fart!" She lifted her leg and farted for 8 seconds.
Rarity had to admit this to herself. She farted for 10 seconds, and giggled.
At 11:00, around the end of the third hour, they decided to have their lunch and get it over with. They continued to fart, and Rainbow and Pinkie had a hard time not laughing so they could get their food down. Rarity tried to hold it in at the table but several loud, long farts made their way out of her.
Once they were done, they continued farting for another hour. Rainbow and Pinkie each farted for 31 seconds, while Sunset and Rarity's longest farts were 30 seconds.
At the end of the fourth hour, all four girls had to pee, even Pinkie, who was drinking lots of soda instead of a glass of water every once and a while.
Rainbow and Pinkie sighed and peed where they stood, farting for most of it and laughing.
"We're already soaked with sweat, so why bother?" said Rainbow.
Rarity gave them a disapproving look and ran to the bathroom, farting the entire way, and got in. Sunset waited for her, farting several times as she did so.
But as soon as the next, boisterous, 28-second fart came along, it was too late. She quickly got a towel and mopped up the puddle before Rarity walked out, wet only with sweat. Rarity had been combing her hair, seeing the state it was in from her intense farting, and hadn't noticed that Sunset had needed to go, too. Because Sunset's shorts were already dripping with sweat, Rarity didn't notice anything now.
For the fifth hour, the farts ranged from one second to 43. At the end of the fifth hour, Rainbow farted for a minute and four seconds.
"Hey, that breaks my record from last time," said Rainbow, slapping her butt while Pinkie kicked her legs in the air laughing, farting repeatedly and tears streaming down her face from laughing too hard.
For the sixth hour, they continued to fart, knowing the contest was almost over. None of them could get their farts longer than 45 seconds.
In the last ten minutes, all four of them farted at the same time.
Pinkie's fart was 47 seconds. Rarity's was a second longer. Rainbow's was a second longer than Rarity's.
Sunset's fart was loud, boisterous, wet, and lasted a minute and ten seconds.
"Wow," said Rainbow Dash, farting again out of shock. "How long was that?"
"70 seconds," said Sunset.
"That's even longer than my high score!"
Sunset quickly put her hands on her butt to see if she'd made a mess in her shorts, but she hadn't, even though they were still soaked with sweat.
Pinkie even looked at Sunset's butt up close. "Nope, no brown stains!" She slapped Sunset's butt lightly, and Sunset giggled. Pinkie let out a short but loud fart, and suddenly remembered. She quickly got away from Sunset's rear end before Sunset started farting again.
They continued to fart for the last several minutes, but the most Rainbow was able to get was a 50-second fart. Rarity farted for 50 seconds too.
Once their gas was gone, Rainbow, though shocked that she had lost a farting contest for the first time, said "Good game, Sunny," and did the rump bump with Sunset. So did Pinkie. Rarity didn't, not wanting to acknowledge how much fun she had.
"Don't tell anyone else that I beat you at a farting contest," said Sunset. "Except Twilight, Applejack, and Fluttershy."
"And don't tell anyone that I took part in this vulgar contest," said Rarity.
All four girls were dripping with sweat and smelled like farts, but they had greatly enjoyed this contest.
"It's a shame Twilight had to miss this," said Sunset.
"Or that Applejack won't compete," said Rainbow Dash.
"Of course, if Fluttershy took one of these she'd probably fart silently," said Pinkie. "I don't think she's even capable of farting loud."
"Let's take a bath in my hot tub," said Rainbow Dash. "Wash off the sweat and the fart smell."
"Do we get to fart in the tub this time?" said Pinkie.
"Goodness no, not this time," said Rarity. "This time there are two of us who don't find it funny to break wind in the tub!"
Sunset looked a little disappointed.
They got into the hot tub, again without changing out of their already-wet outfits.
