Prologue: Joey's Insanity

It's a beautiful day in Equestria, everypony was enjoying their morning as usual. Even the princess had today off seeing how they didn't have any remaining paperwork that needed attention. Meanwhile in Joey Drew Studios the creator sat in the heart of the workshop furious as ever. Recently the local T.V. station had once again rejected his work for so called "plagiarism"

"This is outrageous how is Bendy considered plagiarism!?" Joey screamed throwing his drawings off his desk. He put his hooves on his face as he slumped down in his chair. "Bendy I'm sorry if only they would understand," said Joey looking up. The small Bendy plush on his desk gave no response and just stared back, the wide grin on his face giving off a comforting yet sinister aura. Joey picked up the plush and stared at it for a moment, "Why can't they give you a chance?" he asked with a sad look. He sighed as he threw the plush in the waste can nearby,"If only there was a way we can prove you're not just some copy of old cartoons," Suddenly Joey froze, he slowly raised his head scratching his chin,"Maybe there IS a way," he quickly picked up the plush and nodded. "Don't worry Bendy I promise you that you'll be the star of this show," Joey jumped up and walked out the door.

"You want us to what?" asked one of his employees the next day.

"I need each and every one of you to donate something from your workstation," said Joey.

"Why for what reason?" asked another employee.

"To keep things going of course," answered Joey.

"Mr. Drew we get Bendy is important to you and we admire that, but the fact that you have this giant machine just sitting in this studio was bad enough and now you want us to do whatever it is you want us to do," said the employee.

"Listen I know the Ink Machine is loud and noisy, but trust me it'll all be worth it in the end," said Joey.

The employers just shrugged and nodded,"Whatever you say Mr. Drew," said a third employee. The employees started to walk back to their offices as Joey made his way to the Ink Machine.

"Don't worry Bendy those idiots will soon see that it was a mistake rejecting I promise," said Joey running his hand against the machine.

Later that day each and every employee placed each of their items on the pedestals in the breaker room and went back to work. Several days has passed and Joey seemed to get crazier every day. Two days since everyone donated their items Joey could be seen in the hallway painting words on the walls with black paint. Things like "Dreams come true" and "Who's Laughing Now," would be seen dripping in black paint on the walls.

"Hey Henry is it just me or have you noticed Mr. Drew's strange behavior lately?" asked one of the employees.

"No Wally you're not crazy," answered Henry.

"Yeah that's what I thought so it's just Mr. Drew that's going insane," said Wally.

"I think so too I tried talking to him but he seemed so focused on his work he doesn't even come out of his office anymore," said Henry.

Meanwhile, Joey sat in his office drawing character designs for Bendy. "So close yet so far," said Joey. Joey sat up as a knock on his door distracted him. "Come in," he said. The door opened just as middle aged man wearing a brown suit and pants, his black hair was covered with small drops of ink. "Sammy is something wrong?" asked Joey.

"Joey listen many of us is worried about you," said Sammy.

"I understand Sammy but I have to get this done," said Joey.

"Joey you've been locked up in here and barely took a single step out of here anymore," said Sammy.

"Listen Sammy if you're here to bother me then just leave," said Joey.

"Joey listen to me everyone isn't planning to work for someone who doesn't even get out of his office, they're quitting and leaving the studio," said Sammy.

"Then they're traitors," said Joey.

"Joey ever since we donated our items you haven't been the same," said Sammy.

"Sammy please understand, Bendy is like a son to me I can't just let him die," said Joey.

"Um Sammy can I talk to Joey for a moment?" a voice asked.

Sammy turned around to see Henry standing behind him,"Make it quick," said Sammy.

"Joey," said Henry.

"What is it Henry?" asked Joey.

"Listen everyone is planning to leave the company and well I've been thinking on it lately and well I've decided that I might as well quit me job as well," said Henry.

"What?" both Sammy and Joey asked in unison.

"It's just well it's not like I hate this job I don't, it's just that I decided it might be time to move on," said Henry.

"Henry not you too," said Joey.

"I'm sorry Joey, but no T.V. station is going to accept Bendy you might as well just give up," said Henry.

"Don't you say that!" screamed Joey.

"Joey I'm sorry but I'm just warning you, if you keep going the way you are now, it's only going to get worse in the future," said Henry.

"Forget it, I've worked all my life to bring him to life, I'm not going back now," said Joey turning his attention his Bendy drawings.

"Joey your my friend and that's why I'm telling you this, I'm doing this for your own good," said Henry.

Joey went silent for a moment before answering,"Just get out traitor,"

Henry looked down with a sad look in his eyes,"I'm sorry Henry but you know how Joey is, he's stubborn," said Sammy.

"No it's fine I understand," said Henry. The two went silent for a moment before Henry spoke up,"Sammy, do me a favor and look after Joey for me,"

"I'll hope to see you again in the future," said Sammy shaking his hand. Joey could hear the two's footsteps walk away from his door.

"That traitor thinks he's so smart just you wait Henry, once Bendy becomes reality I'll make sure you suffer," said Joey smirking. "Everyone thinks Bendy is just a copy, I'll show them," Joey laughed. "Bendy will become real," He sat up laughing a wide grin forming on his mouth, one similar to the one Bendy had. Bendy was gonna become reality.

"Come on Henry how bad can it be?" Starlight asked.

"Trust me Starlight it's terrible," answered Henry.

It's been 30 years since Joey Drew's Cartoons was shut down. It was after Celestia caught Henry trying to use satanic rituals to bring Bendy to life. She couldn't have anyone using dark magic in her kingdom so she forced him to shut down the project. He refused of course and told her he'd do it deep underground below the surface where nobody could sense it. He had somehow convinced her and kept his word. Surprisingly it worked and nothing had happened after his promise. That was the problem nothing happened, Joey Drew's presence had vanished completely and a rumor of a curse had started up so Celestia shut down the place for good. Henry was dishearten to hear that his friend had gone missing, but recently he had received a letter from him, he asked Celestia and she agreed but he also had to investigate the place to find evidence that the studio wasn't cursed.

"Well if we get into trouble, The Great and Powerful Trixie shall keep us safe," said Trixie.

"Ok So I know it's Celestia's orders but did we really have to bring HER with us?" asked Henry pointing a hoof at Trixie.

"I know it's bad, but try and let it pass for now," said Starlight.

"Actually what Joey was doing was worst and after visiting his workshop you'll know," said Henry. Starlight shrugged and the three continued to Joey's workshop in silence. After several moments the group came to a stop in front of an old worn down building. "Here we are," said Henry.

"Wow this place has seen better days," said Starlight.

"Ditto," said Trixie. Henry walked over to the door and opened the lock.

"Come in," said Henry. Both Trixie and Starlight walked in followed by Henry. The first thing the two noticed was that the place had not been giving off a lot colors. The place looked like it had been trashed cause there was papers left in last place they had been and several pieces of wood was also starting to come off with ink pouring down the walls. They also noticed a giant cut out of a character with half cut out pie eyes and and a wide grin.

"Wow this uh seems pretty dull," said Starlight.

"It HAS been thirty years, but anyway let's see what Joey has to show us," said Henry.

"What now?" asked Trixie.

"Might as well go check out the Ink Machine," said Henry.

"Alright then," said Starlight. And so the two followed Henry as he led them through halls of Joey's workshop. While walking they noticed several items like a plush, a book and other knick knacks lying around but it was the cartoon cut out that caught their eyes the most.

"Sweet Celestia that's creepy," said Starlight looking at one of the cut-outs.

"That's Bendy Joey's creation," said Henry.

"Bendy and sheep songs, staring Boris the Wold," said Trixie reading off of a poster.

"Ah yes Boris I remember that guy," said Henry.

"Another one of Joey's creations I guess," said Starlight.

"Well here we are," said Joey leading the two into a large room with a giant machine.

"So this is the Ink Machine, hmph wonder how you turn it on?" asked Trixie.

"Who knows, Joey built it so he must've left a switch somewhere," answered Henry.

Starlight walked over and began inspecting the machine,"I don't see a switch anywhere," she said.

"There must've been some other way to turn it on, let's try heading to the breaker room, Joey used to hang out there occasionally," said Henry. The two followed Henry out the door. The three continued to walk down the halls and explore as they made their way down to the breaker room.

"So what exactly happened to Joey?" asked Starlight.

"I don't know, but Bendy had been rejected by several T.V. studios saying that it looked like a copy of cartoons from the old days, Joey wasn't the same after that," answered Henry.

"Well I'm sorry to hear-" But she was interrupted when a piece of board suddenly fell from the ceiling causing her to yelp.

"Don't worry it's just the old age this place has been going through," said Henry. Starlight didn't seem to like the fact that Trixie was snickering at her reaction towards falling board. "Ok so I'm pretty sure the Ink Machine is right so-,"

"Um Henry what is that?" asked Starlight.

"What is what?" asked Henry. He walked over to see what Starlight was pointing at only to find a dead Boris in the room to the left. The three walked over and looked at him in disgust "Oh my Celestia, Joey what were you doing?" asked Henry.

"Who's Laughing Now?" Trixie said reading of the wall.

"Oh that must've been Joey's," said Henry.

"I don't like this let's go," said Starlight

"Alright," said Henry walking out the room with Trixie and Starlight following behind. Henry led the two into the room on the right where several pedestals and pictures with six different items was. Across from Henry was a lever that activated the main power. "Alright how do I get this to work?" asked Henry.

Starlight looked around the room,"Maybe we have to find all these items and bring them here?" she suggested.

"I guess, Joey DID have every employee donate an item from their workstation," said Henry.

"So we have to find six items," said Trixie.

"It would be easier if we split up," said Henry.

"Agree," said Starlight. The three walked out only to be jump scared by a cut-out of Bendy.

"Who put this here?" asked Henry.

"I don't know but somehow I'm getting chills," said Trixie.

"Well let's just go find those items and pretend like that didn't happen. And so the three went off on their own way to find the six items. Henry went off to find the Cogwheel and wrench, while Starlight went off to find the bottle of ink and the book, while Trixie went off to look for the creepy doll and the music disc. Starlight had managed to find a book but somehow the bottle of ink couldn't be found.

"Where is it?" she grumbled. She eventually came to an area where an old work desk was sitting in the corner with a recorder sitting next to it. Starlight walked over and turned on the recorder as a stallion's voice could be heard.

At this point, I don't get what Joey's planning for the company The animations sure aren't getting finished on time anymore And I simply don't see why we need this.....machine It's noisy, it's messy and who needs THAT much ink anyway?

"I agree," said Starlight.

Also get this, Joey had each of us DONATE something from our workstation. We put them on this little pedestals in the break room

"That must be what we're looking for," said Starlight.

To help 'Appease the Gods' Joey says, 'keep things going' Starlight raised an eyebrow looking confused. I think he's lost his mind, but hey he, writes the checks

"He's definitely gone crazy that's for sure," said Starlight.

But I tell you what, if ONE MORE of these pipes burst, I'M OUTTA HERE The recorder then cut out.

"That's it I guess," said Starlight. She walked over to the desk to find the bottle of ink sitting on the desk. "Well that's it I should head back," Starlight turned around with the items in her magic and made her way back. The three met up with each other each of them two items in hand or magic.

"Good looks like that's all of it," said Henry. He led the two into the room and all three of them placed their items on their rightful pedestals. "Ok that's all of it, now I just need to get the ink flowing, somehow there's a switch nearby," said Henry.

"Great more searching," said Trixie.

"Relax I know where it is," said Henry. "Follow me," Trixie rolled her eyes as she followed Henry and Starlight out the door. The two were led down several hallways and eventually past be the hall with the recorder.

"It should be this way," said Henry leading the two down a long hallway.

"Oh great a long hall-" But Trixie was suddenly jump scared by a cut-out Bendy poking his head out from around the corner.

"Sweet Celestia don't do that!" hissed Trixie. The two continued to walk down with Starlight snickering at Trixie. "Shut up," said Trixie blushing. The three ended up in a room with a couple of chairs and a projector that suddenly activated showing a small animation of Bendy. Henry walked around the corner to pull a lever that read ink pressure.

"Ok that's done now let's head back to the break room," said Henry. Once again the two followed Henry back while the sound of ink flowing through the pipes rang out over them. Henry walked over and pulled the lever to the main power once he got back. But as soon as he did the items suddenly vanished and the room went dark.

"Ohh kay what the hay?" asked Trixie.

"Come on maybe we can turn on the Ink Machine now," said Henry. The two groaned as they followed Joey one last time back to the room where the Ink Machine was located.

"Oh what the hay we can't even enter that room now," said Trixie upon seeing the room to the Ink Machine was boarded up.

"Maybe we can still get in if we pull off the boards," said Starlight walking over. But just as Starlight came close an Ink creature resembling Bendy popped out making Starlight scream.

"Starlight!" Henry quickly ran over to help his friend.

"What in Equestria!?" Starlight screamed.

"Uh guys," said Trixie. The three noticed that the entire place was suddenly being swallowed up by ink.

"We gotta get outta here," said Henry.

"But what about evidence?" asked Trixie. Just as she asked that, Bendy hissed at her reaching out towards Starlight.

"On second thought let's just go," said Trixie. Henry helped Starlight up and the three ran towards the exit. The exit was finally in sight and the three ran, but just as they got close to the door, the floor beneath them gave out and the three fell down. They eventually crashed into a room where the only exit was boarded up.

"Ow," said Starlight.

"The Creator Lied to us?" asked Trixie.

"I don't know what that means, but I'm getting out of here as soon as I find us an exit," said Henry.

"How about use this," said Starlight pulling off an Axe from it's holders.

"This will definitely come in handy," said Henry taking the Axe. He walked over to the boarded entryway and began bashing the wood off it. "Come on," said Henry. The two ran up to Henry and followed him as he continued to bash wood off the walls. They were soon led into a room that looked like what Celestia had mentioned.

"Oh mother of Equestria, coffins and a pentagram," said Henry. Suddenly a loud bang was heard and Henry collapsed on the floor unconscious.

"HENRY!" Starlight screamed running over to him. Next to her Trixie let out a grunt as she too collapsed on the ground unconscious. "TRIXIE!" She tried to walk over to her, but then a third bang was heard coming from behind and a strong pain in the head caused her to collapse onto the ground. Then everything went black.

"Henry wake up, please wake up," Starlight shook him praying to Celestia he wasn't dead.

"Ow my head," said Henry getting up. "What happened?" he asked.

"You were hit in the head by somepony or something," answered Starlight.

"Oh great," said Henry.

"Nopony's coming," said Trixie looking back down the hallway.

"Well I guess there's only one thing to do: Press on, see if if I can find us a way out," said Henry. "Where's my axe?"

"Here," said Starlight giving Henry the Axe.

Henry nodded as he walked over to the only exit available and bashed the wood off the door. "Come along you two," he said opening the door. Starlight and Trixie followed Henry down the stairs and through the hallway being greeted by another Bendy cut-out with candles and several cans lying all over the floor.

"He will set us free," said Henry reading off the wall.

Trixie walked over and picked up one of the cans,"Bacon Soup?"

"How did this place get so big?" asked Henry looking around.

"Hey look," said Starlight walking over to another record sitting on a lone shelf. Starlight hit the play button as a familiar voice flowed out from the speakers.

He appears from the shadows to rain his sweet blessings upon me.

"Wait that's Sammy's voice!" Henry said.

"Sammy?" Starlight asked.

"Sammy Lawrence, a good friend of mine when I still worked here," answered Henry.

The figure of ink that shines in the darkness. I see you my savior, I pray you hear me.

"Savior?" asked Trixie with a disgusted look on her face.

"He must be talking about Bendy," suggested Starlight.

Those old songs... Yes, I still sing them. For I know you are coming to save me.

"Save him?" asked Henry. Did something bad happen to him, why else would be calling Bendy his savior right?

And I will be swept into your final, loving embrace.

"Somehow I think that's a lie," said Trixie.

But, love requires sacrifice Can I get an Amen?

"Nope," said Trixie. Just as the record cut off, from somewhere a voice repeated.

"I said, Can I get an Amen?"

"Sammy is that you?" Henry called out. No response. "Sammy are you there?" Henry called out. Once again nobody responded.

"Come on Henry let's go," said Starlight.

"Yeah ok," said Henry. Starlight could tell he was upset that Sammy didn't respond. Henry continued to lead the group through the silent halls. Everything was fine until they reached a certain hallway flooded with Ink.

"Oh great more ink," groaned Henry.

"The great and powerful Trixie is not walking through that," said Trixie looking disgusted.

"Come on Trixie we don't have time to do this," said Starlight. Suddenly Henry picked up Trixie and placed her on his back looking annoyed.

"Better?" asked Henry.

"Very," answered Trixie grinning.

"Alright let's go," said Henry walking into the flooded hallway. Starlight groaned and rolled her eyes as she followed him in. The two continued to slosh through the hallway while Trixie held her tail so that ink wouldn't get on it.

"For Celestia's sake Trixie it's only ink," groaned Starlight. Trixie was about to talk back when Henry suddenly spoke up.

"Hello, Excuse me can you help us! Hello?" Starlight and Trixie looked up to see a figure covered in ink and wearing brown suspenders and a mask walking to the left side of the hallway. Henry hurriedly climbed up the stairs followed by Starlight and looked to the left only to see the figure had somehow disappeared. "Where the hell did he go?"

"Hey Henry there's a gate over here!" Starlight called out from the right. Henry and Trixie walked over to see a closed gate.

"We need to get power into this gate somehow, should be a couple of switches nearby. Then maybe we can open it," said Henry.

"Three switches huh," said Starlight.

"I'll backtrack you two stay here if you want," said Henry running off.

"I'm going too," said Starlight following him.

"I guess I'm alone then," Trixie laughed nervously.

Henry walked back to where they came from looking for switches, "I thought I saw one here," said Henry looking around the room before the stairs. "Ah there it is," he said walking over to the wall with no writing. "That's one, now I need two more,"

Starlight sloshed through flooded hallway shoving pieces of wood out of the way trying to get to the other side. So far she's back tracked and has seen no sign of switches. As she climbed up the stairs her fur was dripping with black ink leaving hoof prints wherever she stepped "Sweet Celestia how can anypony work in a environment like this?" Shaking the ink off of her fur she continued walking around looking for a switch. "Dang it where's the switch?" asked Starlight.

"Starlight," Henry called out.

"Oh, Henry sorry haven't found a switch yet," said Starlight.

"Look above you," said Henry.

"What?" asked Starlight looking up. Right next a pipe the switch's faint glow caught her eye. "Oh," said Starlight. Jumping up she gently tapped the switch activating it.

"Good job," said Henry. "Now let's go back i checked back there, i couldn't find any other switches,"

"Ok," said Starlight turning around.

As Henry and Starlight climbed up the steps to reach the other end of the room they could see Trixie by the Bendy cut-out holding a can with her magic.

"Trixie what are you doing?" Starlight asked.

Trixie looked up her mouth stained in a black liquid,"Oh sorry Starlight I kind of got hungry, but since there's no food here I thought I would want to try some of this Bacon Soup," said Trixie.

"For Celestia's sake really?" asked Starlight.

"Hey be grateful I found a switch you know," said Trixie.

"Really where?" asked Henry.

"Behind the pile of soup on the bottom shelf," said Trixie.

"Great now we can get out of here," said Starlight.

"Come along you two," said Henry. Trixie immediately threw her can off to the side and wiped her muzzle and followed Starlight and Henry towards the gate. Henry pulled on the lever, his axe at the ready as the gate slid open. Walking through he chopped down the boards blocking another doorway.

"The Music Department?" asked Starlight.

"Yeah Sammy used to work here," answered Henry. "This way he said leading to the doorway next to the one they came from. "Oh crap," said Henry.

"What is it?" asked Trixie

"Looks like the stairwell is flooded, if we're gonna get out of here, we'll need to find a way to drain it," answered Henry.

Starlight walked over and pulled on the lever that read Power, behind the three sounds of lights coming on could be heard. "Hey look power," said Starlight.

"Good work," said Henry. The three walked back into the Music Department room. "Ok now if I remember correctly Sammy had a drain in his office," said Henry. Suddenly Trixie let out a horrible scream causing the two of them to flinch.

"Trixie what is it!?" Starlight asked.

"Starlight help!" Trixie screamed. Starlight and Henry turned around to see several inky figures with no legs crawling over to Trixie.

"Eww, eww get away from me!" Trixie screamed. Henry ran up to the figures and struck one with his axe sending piles of ink flying everywhere. "Eww," said Trixie. The figures immediately turned towards Henry and came at him. Henry continued to strike the figures with his axe destroying their inky bodies. Once all of the figures was gone Starlight rushed over to Trixie to see if she was alright. Trixie was fine but obviously disgusted.

"Great that's all of them," said Henry.

"What are those things?" asked Starlight I don't know but we need to move fast, come on Sammy's office should be this way," said Henry leading the two towards the recording room.

Chapter 3: Build our Machine

Henry, Starlight, and Trixie continued down the long corridor past the large piano. Eventually leading to a small empty space with a glass window under a large sign that read Sammy Lawrence Music Department Director. Henry was about to go through the door when he noticed more ink blocking the entryway.

"Well there is the pump switch alright, but that is one hell of a leak blocking the door though. If we could just stop that ink from flowing, maybe we can get in," said Henry.

"Um Henry," said Trixie.

"What is it?' asked Henry.

"It's ink, its just water," said Trixie.

"Says the mare who didn't dare step in that flooding hallway earlier," mocked Henry. Trixie's eyes twitched in annoyance realizing her statement was just shot down by Henry's logic.

"Alright let's hear this recording," said Henry pushing the play button.

So I go get my dustpan from the hall closet the other day, and guess what? I can't find my stupid keys

Henry chuckled upon hearing that familiar voice. Starlight confused asked,"What is it Henry?"

"That's Wally Franks another one of my friend, he was a really serious guy but nobody could take him seriously," answered Henry.

"Yeah no kidding," said Trixie cringing.

It's like they disappeared into thin air or something. All I can think of is that they must have fallen into one of the garbage cans as I was making my rounds last week

"Oh yeah the garbage cans, as if he wasn't already garbage himself," snickered Trixie. Starlight glared at her making her flinch.

I just hope nobody tells Sammy, because if he finds out I lost my keys again, I'm out of here

"Um pretty sure somepony told Sammy," said Starlight.

"Well anyway we should split up and find those keys," said Henry.

"Again?" groaned Trixie.

"Hey it'd be a lot faster if we split up, now I say we should meet back here," suggested Henry.

"Got it," said Starlight.

"Alright fine," groaned Trixie. And so the three walked back the way they came from and began searching for Wally's keys. Henry started off by looking through the area where they were attacked by the ink creatures while Starlight searched through the recording room with Trixie. Eventually Starlight found the keys in the garbage can in the recording room and told Henry who was still looking in his area. The three went back to the room and opened the Wally's closet to find another tape recorder.

Every artistic person needs a sanctuary. Joey Drew has his and I got mine.

"Huh a sanctuary," said Starlight.

To enter, you need only know my favorite song.

"His favorite song?" asked Trixie.

The banjo playfully plucks, the banjo, once again, strums it's melody, the violin shudders with a piercing voice, the violin again screams.

"Ok, so Banjo, Banjo, Drums, Drums," said Henry.

Sing my song and my sanctuary will open to you.

"Huh seems easy," said Trixie.

"Yeah but there's a trick to this," said Henry.

"What is it?" asked Starlight.

"We need to turn on the projector above the recording room and then play Sammy's song while it's on," answered Henry.

"Oh great guess we'll need to move quick," said Trixie.

"Not exactly what I had in mind, I thought that maybe you two could play his song while I stood by the projector," suggested Henry.

"Hmm not a bad idea," said Starlight.

"Worth trying said Trixie.

"Then it's settled," said Henry walking back in the direction they came from. As Henry went up to the projector both Starlight and Trixie ran over to their instruments to prepare. Trixie ran to the Banjo while Starlight the Violin. Once ready Starlight looked up towards Henry, who was poking his head down, an nodded. Henry turned on the projector as Trixie strung the Banjo twice and Starlight annoyingly followed on the violin twice. Just then the gate near the piano began to open.

"We did it," said Starlight. Smiling Henry quickly ran down to join the two and lead them into Sammy's sanctuary. It wasn't much except for the long hallway leading to a single machine that read flow with a small wheel attached to it. Henry grabbed the wheel and began turning it to slow down the flow.

"Ok that should do it," said Henry. "Let's go," he said turning around and walking back. Just as the three were halfway through a Bendy cut-out poked his head from around the corner scaring the three. But just as the three reentered the recording room, the group was suddenly attacked by the same ink creatures from earlier.

"Man those things are gross," said Henry swinging his axe into one of them.

"Back off!" Starlight yelped blasting one with her magic.

"Shoo, shoo beat it you inky freaks," said Trixie slamming a Bendy cut-out into another. Thankfully the ink creatures weren't very strong so killing them wasn't very hard. Once the three wiped off the last bit of ink off of themselves, they made their way back to Sammy's office.

"Ok this doesn't look like much," said Trixie. looking around as Henry pulled the switch to the drain. Starlight walked over to what she assumed was Sammy's desk and looked at the large paper on his desk.

"Ink Machine mark 2?" asked Starlight.

"Must be the blueprints to the actual machine," said Henry.

"Hey a radio," said Trixie.

"Cool turn it on," said Starlight. Trixie took her advice and clicked it on as a loud upbeat music began to flow out of the radio followed by a stallion's voice.

Stallion "They have sent you a letter, to come back home to play,"

"Wow catchy," said Trixie.

Stallion "But to your dismay, this isn't your day, for the happy fun time has begun to fade," "Watch as we reanimate, our corpses you abandoned, we're dismantled, we're mishandled, but we won't be skipped and swayed,"

Stallion "Trapped within these walls, you left our souls to drip away, the ink decays, the walls at bay, but the reckoning has come today, you say, Boris has no guts cause you replaced it with mechanical strain, we've been tortured,
but we move forward, this disorder kills your day aye, aye!"

Stallion "I am Alive! Immortalized, you're the creator, you traitor, Hey! There's no vaccine, to cure our dirty needs, for now you must Build up our Machine you die tonight!"

The next several seconds was just music that the three soon found themselves dancing to.

Stallion "Tonight, Build up our Machine you die tonight, tonight, Build up our Machine you die tonight"

Stallion "So you found all the pieces, to initiate the pain, our venom stains, the night remains, but the ending is always just the same, no gain, nod your head to the beat of death, as you draw your last eternal breath, sensations of an invasion start to course right through our veins," "You say we have no brains, we're just cartoons for your portrayal, to tell some tale about a boat and sail, but sure this inevitably unveils the fail, splashes of eternal hate will flood the floor and clean your slate, NOW WE'RE THE TOOLS, AND YOU'RE THE FOOL, our nightmare dominate aye, aye, ate!"

Stallion "I am Alive! Immortalized, you're the creator, you traitor, Hey! There's no vaccine, to cure our dirty needs, for now you must Build up our Machine you die tonight!" "I am Alive! Immortalized, you're the creator, you traitor, Hey! There's no vaccine, to cure our dirty needs, for now you must Build up our Machine you die tonight!" "Tonight, Build up our Machine you die tonight, tonight, Build up our Machine you die tonight"

Stallion " I am aware, that your soul is now divine, we care to not toil with unbroken chains, so don't toil with ours like he did to our shining stars (shining stars), so prepare for adventure we're a whole new creature from the darkest side, you can't take away the pain we feel, created as monsters that come to life! (Come back to life!)"

"Whoo yeah this is amazing!" said Starlight.

Stallion "So you've come to the end now, alive but dead inside, the heart beats loud, you've joined our crowd, we are but punished serpentines, your life with him was fun, but now the terrors only just begun, now come with me, and you will see, WE'RE A NEW BORN CYANIDE!!!!!"

"Whoa," said Trixie.

Stallion "I am Alive! Immortalized, you're the creator, you traitor, Hey! There's no vaccine, to cure our dirty needs, for now you must Build up our Machine you die tonight!" "I am Alive! Immortalized, you're the creator, you traitor, Hey! There's no vaccine, to cure our dirty needs, for now you must Build up our Machine you die tonight!" "Tonight, Build up our Machine you die tonight, (created as monsters that come to life!), tonight, Build up our Machine you die tonight"

The singer's voice echoed tonight several times before the song finally cut off and the radio turned off. "That was awesome," said Trixie.

"I wonder if Sammy wrote that?" asked Starlight. However when nobody responded she looked next to her to find that Henry had suddenly disappeared. "Henry?"

"What's wrong Starlight?" Trixie asked.

"Henry's gone," Starlight answered.

"What?" asked Trixie. Suddenly Starlight felt a strong sensation on the back of her head followed by a loud bang. Suddenly dizzy Starlight collapsed. "STARLIGHT!" Trixie screamed. But before Trixie could help her friend she was suddenly hit in the back of her head as well. Trixie weakly looked up as a familiar voice began speaking to her.

"Rest your head, it's time for bed," But before Trixie could get a good look at the figure, she closed her eyes and everything went black.

Starlight groaned as she opened her eyes to find herself restrained to the wall by something. She looked over to see Henry and Trixie in the same state but still out cold. "Henry!" Starlight called out. Both Henry and Trixie weakly opened their eyes and looked around.

"Where are we?" asked Henry.

"I don't know but-" Suddenly a familiar voice spoke up as a tall inky black figure wearing a Bendy mask appeared in front of them.

"There we go now, nice and tight, we wouldn't want our sheep roaming away now, would we?" asked the figure. "No we wouldn't,"

"What?" asked Trixie scared.

"Now I didn't think that there would be three but the more the merrier now am I right?" asked the figure.

"Who are you and what do you want with us?" Starlight asked.

"Oh you should already know me by now," said the figure. "Well anyways, I must admit I am honored you came all the way down here to visit me," "It almost makes what I'm about to do seem cruel," said the figure.

"What are you going to do with us?" asked Trixie close to tears.

"Oh you'll see," answered the figure.

"Wait I know that voice," said Starlight. "Sammy?"

"Indeed," answered Sammy. "I am Sammy Lawrence," "Now as I was saying, the believers must honor their savior, I must have him notice me,"

"Him?" Starlight asked.

Sammy looked over to Henry and by the tone of his voice, he was already surprised,"Wait you look familiar to me, that face, not now, for our lord is calling to us my little sheep, the time of sacrifice is at hand!"

"Sacrifice!?" Trixie yelped.

"And then I will finally be freed from this prison.... this inky dark abyss I call a body," said Sammy. "Shh quiet, listen, I can hear him crawling above, crawling!" Just as Sammy said that the sound of loud booms could be heard coming from above.

"Oh no," said Starlight.

"Let us begin, The ritual must be completed, soon he will hear me, he will set us free," said Sammy. He turned around and walked towards the door to his left and closed it shut.

"NO I DON'T WANNA DIE!" screamed Trixie struggling to break free. Suddenly Sammy's voice came on the speakers as he began to speak.

"Sheep, sheep, sheep, it's time for sleep, rest you're head it's time for bed," "In the morning you may wake, or in the morning you'll be dead," Suddenly the gate in front of the three began to slide open while Trixie continued screaming.

"NOOO!!!!" her voice was close to tears.

"Hear me Bendy! Arise from the darkness! Arise and claim my offering, free me I beg you, I summon you ink demon, show you're face and take this tender sheep!" Just then a large growl could be heard coming from behind the door and the fear in Sammy's voice shocked the three. "No my lord, stay back, I am your prophet, I am your- AHHHHH!" Starlight took this chance to zap the restrains with her magic freeing her two friends.

"Sammy!" Henry screamed.

"It's too late for Sammy Henry come on let's get out of here," said Starlight tugging at his shirt. Henry clenched his teeth knowing that Starlight was right, he quickly grabbed his axe and swung at two more of the ink creatures. leading the two down the hallway.

"Ah it's blocked!" Starlight said.

"Not for long," said Henry swinging his axe breaking the boards.

"Hurry!" Trixie screamed. Panicked Henry continued to swing at the boards eventually, with one final swing his axe shattered.

"My axe broke!" Henry yelped.

"That don't matter let's get outta here!" said Trixie running ahead.

"Wait Trixie!" said Starlight. But just as Trixie was about to jump into a room flooded with ink, Bendy popped out causing Trixie to jump back.

"Ah Bendy!" Trixie screamed. Bendy then began running at Trixie with his arms reached out for her.

"Guys this way!" said Henry. pointing down the left hallway. Both Trixie and Starlight quickly ran down the hall with Henry while Bendy continued to chase the three down an inky hallway. The three quickly ran past the door as Henry quickly slammed it shut and put up a piece of board to keep Bendy from coming in.

"Are we safe?" asked Trixie.

"For now yes," answered Starlight catching her breath. But just as she said that, a loud bang could be heard coming from behind the door.

"Ok let's get out of here," said Henry running into the next room. But just as the three took four steps in, a can of bacon soup rolled past them.

"Hello? Someone there, we know your in here, come out and show yourself," Henry ordered. Starlight and Trixie hid behind Henry as footsteps approached them revealing a familiar looking wolf. "Boris?" Henry asked. Starlight and Trixie poked their heads out to see Boris standing there.

"Boris the wolf?" asked Starlight. Boris then suddenly opened the door next to a sign that read lift and waved his hand in.

"You want us to get in?" asked Trixie. Boris nodded. The three didn't know whether to trust Boris, but anytime now Bendy would break through the door so they decided to take the risk and entered the rift with Boris following behind. He hit the button that read 1 and the lift began to go up.

"Where are you taking us?" asked Starlight. Boris didn't answer, but eventually the rift came to a stop in front of a door under a sign that read exit. He opened the door as a ray of sun poured in.

"Are you helping us?" asked Henry. Boris nodded. "Thanks buddy," said Henry walking out with Trixie and Starlight following behind. But before the three could walk off, Boris tapped Trixie on the shoulder grabbing her attention.

"What is it?" asked Trixie. Boris turned around a pulled out a small plushie of Bendy and gave it to her. "For us?" asked Trixie. Boris nodded. "Thanks," said Trixie taking the plush. Boris waved at the group and the three waved back. Boris then closed the door and left the the three alone.

"Well that was adventurous," said Henry.

"Yeah, now come on we need to meet with Celestia, we have a lot of things to explain," said Starlight. The two nodded in agreement as they made their way towards the castle.

Bonus Chapter: Gospel of Dismay

It was several days since Henry, Starlight, and Trixie left Joey's Studio and things have started to die down. Today was just another one of those ordinary days where Starlight and Henry was sitting at Celestia's dinning table eating breakfast.

"I'm glad we got out of there," said Starlight.

"Yeah," said Henry. "But I do miss Sammy though,"

"I heard," said Celestia. "I'm sorry you had to see your best friend in that state," Celestia apologized.

"It's not your fault your highness," said Henry shoving in a piece of pancake in his mouth.

"Trixie is still recovering from her experience and won't even want to talk about it," said Starlight.

"Of course who wouldn't," asked Henry. The three began to laugh just as a knock was heard from outside the dining hall door.

"Come in," Celestia invited. The door opened as a royal guard walked in with a radio.

"Message to Henry and Starlight Glimmer," said the guard.

"For us?" asked Starlight confused. The guard walked over and pushed the radio onto the table and turned it on as a upbeat song began to flow out of the radio's speaker followed by a squeaky male voice.

"Hey there Henry, it's me Bendy and today me and my pals Boris and Alice wrote this little song for you and your friends enjoy," said Bendy.

Bendy "Let's hope this time we can get this band back together again!"

Suddenly a deeper voice, assuming it was Boris's began to sing.

Boris "You join the underground cabaret today!"

Bendy "Well hey there tell me your name,"

Boris "You try to run and tell the world, but you're stranded in a darkened cave,"

Bendy "Oh Henry we hate you the same!"

Boris "So listen up my friend, there's more than meets the eye, you power up the studio and bring them to life!" "Now play the beat trickles through the halls, or else you're life is nevermore, don't worry chum, it's not the music that dies, now listen up!"

Bendy "Our life support machine was brought to life by remarkable hands!" "Forget about the hell we've seen, the time has come to revive our band," "So bang the drums to rhythm captivating the beat, and press the keys on the piano for the ritual please, the song's alive with the night, with your help we'll revive the devil's advocate, is staring right through your lies,"

The next verse was sung by a female obviously being Alice as Bendy had mentioned earlier.

Alice "You're just returning our old strings tonight,"

Bendy "I hope you turn on the light now!"

Bendy "Can I get an Amen in here? (AMEN!) you see the magic of art, it would tear you apart if you knew, can I get an Amen in here? (AMEN!), this magic was fueled by your heart, but the dreams in eyes were untrue, he had bigger plans for the band, by demand, we came back to this darkened cell, you're gonna break us out of this hell!"

The next few notes, Henry, Starlight, and Celestia got closer ready for the next verse.

Bendy "We've been stars, since the rhythm days, but our instruments have all grown tired, and in the end our only dream was to dance, they took the dance away and we got retired, but that was long ago, we have a new change of face, we've turned it up a couple notches with a brand new pace!" "You think they all just erased us, betrayed us, enslaved us, but the deed is done, and now we want to get out, now listen up!"

Boris "Ain't it nice to be underground with a good ol' friend like me?"

Bendy "A friend like me yeah,"

Boris "So you notice that sign, we ain't lying, but sit down and take a seat,"

Bendy "Take a seat!"

Boris "There's an exit for sure, but that's for schmucks, but a little bit of ink, and a couple of bucks!" "We can reopen the curtains and show off the strut!" "But for goodness sake!" "YOU GOTTA JUST BELIEVE!"

Alice "You're just returning our old strings tonight,"

Bendy "I hope you turn on the light now!"

Bendy "Can I get an Amen in here? (AMEN!) you see the magic of art, it would tear you apart if you knew, can I get an Amen in here? (AMEN!), this magic was fueled by your heart, but the dreams in eyes were untrue, he had bigger plans for the band, by demand, we came back to this darkened cell, you're gonna break us out,"

Suddenly Sammy's voice was heard coming from the radio catching Henry's attention.

"Sammy!" Henry called out.

Sammy "Go to sleep my little sheep, it's time to rest your head whether alive or dead, I am the keeper of the key that will set us all free, I bring the demon back to life (Bring the demon back to life!)" "There's a song I sing shows us the light, even in the lighter side of hell we sing with delight, play the notes that I require, this will please my desires, you have given me the tools to restart this fire!"

Bendy "There's a twisted fate that controls us and betrays us, my friends have a death wish and all of this is him to blame," "Now we've brought him to his knees, your only hope to escape this is to embrace this, we need your help to keep this demon at bay," "LET'S END THIS TODAY!"

Bendy "You're the conductor of this performance now Henry,"

Boris "Will you take their word or ours?"

Alice "Golly I hope this works,"

Bendy "You turned on this machine, now you have to believe!"

Bendy "Can I get an Amen in here? (AMEN!) you see the magic of art, it would tear you apart if you knew, can I get an Amen in here? (AMEN!), this magic was fueled by your heart, but the dreams in eyes were untrue, he had bigger plans for the band, by demand, we came back to this world of grey, WELCOME TO THE GOSPEL OF DISMAY!!!!!'

Bendy "Welcome to the Gospel of Dismay,"

With that the song cut and the radio shut off. Both Henry and Starlight looked at each other and blinked.

"You heard that right?" asked Henry.

"Sure did," answered Starlight.

"Um your majesty I hope you wouldn't mind if we go see Trixie would you?" asked Henry.

"Be my guest," said Celestia. Henry quickly grabbed the radio and ran out followed by Starlight.

"Poor Trixie," said Celestia.

"Do you think she'll be alright?" asked the guard.

"I think she'll be fine," answered Celestia. But just as she answered, Trixie's scream could be heard from the distance.

"Never mind," said Celestia chuckling.
