When a distortion appears in 28 worlds, three ponies and a dragon are summoned to stop negativity in it's tracks
Arceus and the creation Trio have teamed up to keep the balance of creation in check since their fight. However when Unown, a certain Psychic type Pokemon suddenly goes berserk, a distortion is created in 28 different worlds. Now Three certain Ponies and a dragon must engage in a quest to search for 28 warriors that rebelled against the negative aura the corrupted Unown has released and defeat the culprit before the entire universe is swallowed up into a world of nothing.

"It's the vision again isn't it," said Giratina. Dialga looked down not saying a word about Giratina's response. "I thought so," said Giratina.
For the past few months, since their fight with Arceus, things have been returning to normal but now Dialga had been getting visions about Unown a certain Psychic type Pokemon that resembled the letters of the Alphabet.
"Why don't you tell Arceus about it?" asked Palkia.
"I don't think he will believe me," answered Dialga. "He's been keeping an eye on those troublemakers for a while so there is no way that Unown could be doing something as dangerous as this,"
Palkia and Giratina looked at each other and nodded.
"Dialga it's about time we told you something that we've been hiding from you," said Palkia.
Dialga turned to face his two comrades,"What is it?"
"The truth is we've been having the same visions as you for a while now," answered Giratina.
"What!?" asked Dialga in shock.
"At first we didn't want to tell you for certain reasons but now that you've revealed the truth we figured it be our chance to spill the beans," said Palkia.
"But how and why?' asked Dialga.
"Because of Unown," answered a voice. The trio turned around to see a big white Pokemon with a giant yellow ring around it's waist.
"Lord Arceus!" said Palkia.
Arceus flew down to them with a serious look on his face, "I've seen their movements and actions," said Arceus. "They aren't acting like their usual selves,"
"What do you mean?" asked Giratina.
"They don't seem to recognize me as their savior but rather see me as a predator or prey," answered Arceus.
"Then that means," said Dialga.
Arceus nodded, "It seems that your visions were some kind of warning,"
The three looked at each other and turned towards Arceus, "But what does it all mean?" asked Giratina.
"That is what I plan to find out," said Arceus. Suddenly the area around the four began to shake as a giant tear suddenly opened up near Giratina.
"What is the meaning of this!?" asked Dialga. As the tear grew bigger the four could see something inside. Several visions of Unown flashed followed by the figures of three colorful ponies and a small green and purple dragon followed by the silhouettes of 28 figures and finally switching to several figures of different shapes and sizes standing under a giant orb surrounded in black and purple aura before the visions vanished and the tear opened wider revealing dark aura that seemed to eat away the matter around the tear itself.
"You saw that right?" asked Palkia. The three nodded. Suddenly just above Arceus's head another tear opened up with the same black aura eating away the matter around the tear.
"We can't stay here we must leave," said Arceus. His eyes began to glow in a white light as a portal opened up before him. "Quick this way," he said entering the portal followed by Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina.
Twilight jumped up and down with glee finally getting the news that Cadence was able to visit her since Discord's blue flu incident.
"Ok calm down Twilight I understand your excited to see Cadence but maybe you should really take the whole cleaning your castle top to bottom down a bit," said Spike.
"Oh don't be silly Spike," said Twilight. "She's the Princess of Love at least show her some respect,"
"Alright alright," said Spike.
Starlight suddenly walked in carrying a pot of flowers with her magic, "How's this Twilight?" asked Starlight.
Twilight gasped in amazement, "It's perfect Starlight just place it by the window sill,"
Starlight walked over nearly tripping over Spike,"Oh sorry Spike,"
"It's cool," said Spike. Suddenly the doorbell rang making Twilight scream and Starlight drop the pot. Twilight ran to the door excited to see the alicorn she loved so much. Twilight opened the door with a smile happy to see Cadence standing on the stairs.
"Cadence you're here!" Twilight screamed with delight.
"Of course I just couldn't wait to spend time with my favorite mare," said Cadence smiling.
"Twilight we're ready!" Spike called out from inside the castle.
"Ready for what?" asked Cadence.
"For you," answered Twilight grabbing her hoof with a smile and dragging her inside.
"Wow," said Cadence looking around the castle. "You really cleaned up in here,"
"Of course," said Twilight smiling. "I wanted to provide the best hospitality while your here,"
She led Cadence into the room where Spike and Starlight sat in their respective chairs.
"Come on sit Cadence," said Twilight pulling up a chair. Cadence took up on Twilight's offer as she scooted her chair closer to the table. Meanwhile Twilight passed around several cups filled with tea.
"Thanks Twilight," said Cadence taking a sip of her tea.
Twilight took her own seat next to Starlight with her own cup. "So do you have anything planned for today?" asked Twilight.
"Not exactly but if you want we can take visit to the Starswirl the bearded traveling museum," answered Cadence.
"Wait you mean it's THAT time of year again?!" asked Twilight. Cadence winked at Twilight smiling. Twilight jumped up nearly flipping the table jumping and down with glee,"Oh yes this day can't get any better!"
"Well then what are we waiting for?" asked Cadence. She looked over to Spike and Starlight,"You two want to come along?" The two looked at each other and nodded.
'Well we don't have anything better to do," said Starlight.
"Great!" said Twilight grabbing Starlight and Spike and running over to Cadence's side. "Let's go!" she beamed.
On their way to the museum, Twilight, Starlight, Spike, and Cadence ran into three of the mane six who eventually joined in with the four.
"I'm so glad you guys decided to come along," said Twilight excited.
"Well who wouldn't want to spend time with you darling," said Rarity.
"I think this was a mistake," said Rainbow Dash. Rarity slapped her on the back and glared at her. "What?" asked Rainbow.
"Come on it can't be THAT bad," said Twilight.
"Uh actually i could," said Fluttershy.
"Oh come on Fluttershy don't be like that," said Rarity.
"Uh I don't think that's what she means," said Starlight pointing to the entrance to the museum. The group looked over to see what Starlight was pointing at only to find several guards and warning signs blocking the entrance.
"Oh," said Cadence realizing that their day was just ruined.
"What's going on here?" asked Twilight.
"Oh your majesties," said one of the guards taking notice. "I'm sorry to say but we cannot let anypony in today," said the guard.
"What do you mean?" asked Spike.
Two of the guards looked at each other with worried looks, "Well the truth is we don't exactly know what it is but there seems to be a strange hole in the middle of museum,"
"You mean in one of the exhibits?" asked Rarity.
"No," answered the guard. "Well to be honest we can't explain it in a simple matter but this hole we found seems to be floating in midair," said the guard.
"What?" asked Rainbow.
'Well like I said we can't-," but the guards statement was cut short when a scream came from inside the museum.
"What was that?" asked Fluttershy.
"We don't-," but once again the guards statement was cut short ground started to shake.
"What's going on!?" asked Cadence. Suddenly the ground beneath Twilight, Starlight, Spike, and Cadence began to glow in a purple light as four giant holes appeared beneath their hooves.
"What is-," However before Spike could finish his question, a large gust of wind erupted from the holes as it began to suck the four in.
"WHAT!?" screamed Starlight.
"YOUR MAJESTIES!" screamed the guards reaching out with their hooves to try and grab the two princess while Rarity, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash attempted to the save Starlight and Spike. But the gust of winds was too strong and was pulling the four at an alarming rate.
"It's no use," said Twilight.
"Don't say that!" screamed Rarity. "We'll save you even if we get sucked in ourselves!" But just as she said that the four was instantly sucked in screaming as the four holes closed upon them.
Twilight groaned as she slowly got to her hooves. "What happened?" she asked. Looking around, she found herself in a world she has never seen before. Around her was nothing but the color blue as well as clocks of all shapes and sizes floating around her. Looking down she noticed there was no ground or floor and yet she seemed to be standing on something, or was she floating she couldn't tell. "Um hello anypony here?" she called out. No response. "Spike, Cadence, Starlight anypony?" she asked. Yet there was nothing but silent. "Hello?" she called out again.
"So you're finally awake," a voice responded.
Twilight looked around but saw nopony there. "Um hello is somepony there?" she called.
"Yes I'm here," responded the voice.
"Um do you think you can help me?" Twilight asked.
"What is it that you need?" responded the voice.
"I've been separated from my friends and I've got no idea where I am," answered Twilight.
"Yes of course," answered the voice from behind. Twilight turned around to see a giant creature standing behind her. The creature was standing on all fours and had several pieces of metal hanging around it's body like pieces of armor on a knight. A giant piece of metal was sticking out from it's waist area and a metallic crest with a shiny blue gem engraved in the center was easily the most noticeable part of the creature. It had multiple glowing blue veins running up and down it's body and it's piercing red eyes stared down at Twilight with such intimidation. Twilight gulped as she slowly took a step back. "Hello there young one," said the creature. Suddenly Twilight found herself trembling unable to stop. "It's fine young one there is no need to fear me," said the creature.
"Who are you and what do you want from me?" asked Twilight.
"I am Dialga the creator and ruler of Time," answered the creature. "As for your second question there is nothing I want from you,"
Twilight slumped relived yet still terrified,"Where am I?" she asked.
"You are in the Time Realm," answered Dialga.
"Where are my friends?" asked Twilight.
"Your loved ones are safe," answered Dialga. "They are with my comrades,"
"Your comrades?" asked Twilight.
"Ah yes you're confused aren't you?' asked Dialga. Twilight nodded. "Well then I suppose I have a lot of explaining to do," said Dialga looking down in embarrassment. "There is a lot to take in so are you ready?" Twilight was still confused, but she realized that this Dialga was the only one with answers so she had no choice but to listen. Twilight nodded ready for whatever information she was about receive. "Very well then," said Dialga. "Starting from the beginning,"
Starlight slowly raised her head and blinked looking around at her surroundings. "Where am I?" she asked. Looking around she found herself in world with nothing but pink around her. Chunks of land were floating around in random sides as if the gravity was being distorted.
"Sleep well?" asked a voice from her left. Starlight turned towards the voice to find a giant bipedal creature standing next to her. Or was it floating she couldn't tell, but she noticed that this creature had random pink markings or veins that ran across it's chest neck and tail. A giant pink jewel glowed brightly on the center of it's shoulder and two giant wings sprouted from the creature's back the pointy blade like tip on top of the creature's head made it look like it was wearing a helmet from the medieval times and it's menacing red eyes sent shivers running up her neck. The creature looked down at her and asked," Beautiful isn't it?" Starlight screamed and jumped back pointing her horn at the creature.
"Who are you and where are my friends?" she growled.
However not even fazed by her threatening position, the creature stared back out onto the horizon,"I'm Palkia the creator and ruler of Space and dimensions," answered the creature. "As for your loved ones," Palkia looked back down at Starlight. "There is no need to worry they are safe," Palkia answered.
Starlight eased down on her magic as she looked up at Palkia,"Where am I?" she asked.
"You are in the Space Realm," Palkia answered.
"Space Realm?" asked Starlight.
"I understand that you must be confused and scared about what is happening right now so I'm going to tell you this one time," Palkia looked back onto the horizon before looking back at Starlight,"Are you ready for what I'm about to tell you?" Starlight not wanting to have to argue with the Deity of Space nodded her head. "This all happened not so long ago," Palkia began.
Scratching his eye with his claws, Spike opened his eyes and blinked to see where he was. What he found was completely shocking. The place was almost dark where no light came in and multiple chunks of land that was floating around seemed completely out of this world since there were mirror versions of the same exact pieces of land right beneath the original. Almost everything looked reverse. "What in Equestria!?" screamed Spike jumping back. It was at this point where he realized gravity wasn't normal either. He was floating around like he was in space and where he had intended to land ended up being a cliff. Completely missing his footing he slipped and fell off only to land on something beneath him.
"Careful there buddy," a voice called out. "You don't wanna die when you just got here," The thing beneath him flew up to the piece of land he was standing on and gently dropped him down.
"Phew thanks you're a big help," said Spike turning around. Spike froze upon what he found behind him. A large creature with a grey body and black and red stripes with no legs hovered behind him. The creature had yellow tipped spikes poking out from several places on it's body with four more on it's tail two on each side. The creature had six black tentacle like features emerging from it's back with red points on the end of each tentacles with three on each side. It's head and face was covered by a yellow helmet/mask like feature only exposing it's grey face and menacing red eyes. Spike stepped back completely freaked out by what he saw,"M..M..MONSTER!"
"Hey wait!" the creature called out as Spike ran off. As Spike ran the creature flew over his head and settled in front of him scaring Spike half to death. "Will you calm down already," the creature asked.
Spike fell backwards and covered his face with his claws,"Don't eat me please I don't taste good!"
"Since when did I say I was going to eat you?" asked the creature.
Spike looked up and pointed a finger at it still terrified,"Who are you and where am I?"
"I am Giratina ruler of the reverse world," said the creature.
"Who and what now!?" asked Spike.
"Giratina ruler of the reverse world where you currently are now," answered Giratina.
Spike looked around his surroundings before turning back to Giratina,"Where are my friends?"
"Don't worry your loved ones are safe," answered Giratina. "But back to seriousness I know your confused and scared right now so might as well explain to you what's going on,"
Spike sat up still uneasy about this Giratina,"Ok,"
"There is a lot of information I'll be giving you so are you prepare to take it all in?" asked Giratina. Spike wanting to get out of here decided he might as well cooperate with Giratina and listen to what he had to say. Spike nodded giving Giratina the ok. "Alright it all started a while back," Giratina started.
When Cadence opened her eyes she was instantly greeted by a blinding light forcing her to cover her eyes with her hoof. "What?" she asked.
"Morning young one," a calm voice spoke up. Looking over to her left she found a tall white creature standing next to her. The creature was standing on all fours and had a large yellow ring wrapped around it's waist/stomach.
"What?" asked Cadence slowly scooting away.
"I apologize if I frightened you just now," said the creature. The calm tone in it's voice was soothing that Cadence felt her fears wash away. "I am the one called Arceus," said the creature.
"Arceus?" asked Cadence.
Arceus nodded,"Indeed," he answered. Cadence looked around to see nothing but light everywhere. "If your looking for your loved ones then you need not worry," Arceus said. "They are perfectly safe,"
"Where am I?" asked Cadence turning towards Arceus.
Arceus looked up,"You are in my dimension young one," "I can feel it,"
"Feel what?" asked Cadence.
"Your confused and scared aren't you," said Arceus. "I know you want an explanation for what is going on,"Cadence hesitated but nodded. "Very well then but it's a long explanation so Im going to ask you this once are you ready?" At this point Cadence didn't want anything else than answers. She nodded without hesitation. "Very well than let's start from the beginning," said Arceus.
Cadence plopped down on the cloud she was standing on and prepared for what Arceus was about to tell her.
"First things first," said Arceus as a small white orb hovered over to Cadence. "Tell me what do you see in there?"asked Arceus.
Cadence looked in to see a group of black symbols resembling the English alphabet with eyes attached to it,"Um the Alphabet with eyes?" answered Cadence confused.
Arceus nodded,"These are a type of creature called Unown," said Arceus. "They are little troublemakers that I keep an eye on so they don't do anything to ruin the balance of creation,"
"Balance of creation?" asked Cadence.
Arceus nodded,"Time, Space, Dimensions, Distortions and our Reverse selves, they are all part of creation," "It is my duty as the god of this world to keep this in check," Arceus looked down,"But then something happened that changed everything,"
"I'm listening," said Cadence.
"My comrades or I don't know who or what caused this but one day these Unown suddenly became corrupted in some sort of dark aura that caused them to go crazy," "These Unown corrupted by this dark energy soon went off to upset the balance of creation creating a distortion in 28 different worlds one of them being ours,"
"And I suppose that our world was another one of those 28?" asked Cadence.
"That is what we considered at first but we were later proven wrong," answered Arceus.
"What do you mean?" asked Cadence.
"When the Unowns were first corrupted, they split off into these 28 worlds creating this distortion and corrupting these worlds with negative energy that soon took control of the resident life forms that lived in these worlds," answered Arceus. "Your world was somehow dragged into this mess but was somehow protected from this negative energy and only pulled you and your loved ones from your world as a result," "We weren't expecting this but you and your three friends were rudely dropped into our dimensions against your own will by this distortion,"
"Well is there anyway to fix this?" asked Cadence.
Cadence couldn't see it but could tell that Arceus was smiling,"There are certain individuals in these 28 worlds that somehow resisted the negative energy and are currently creating a resistance to rebel against the negative aura," answered Arceus. "However although these individuals may have resisted the negative energy they are not immune to them," He looked over to Cadence,"That's where you and your friends come in you and your friends are the only ones who are completely immune to these negative energy,"
"Us?' asked Cadence.
Arceus nodded,"We need your help, if you could go to these 28 worlds and find a certain resistance member from each of these worlds you can help their home spread the immunity," "However the culprit will eventually take notice and attempt to stop you,"
"Do you know where this negative energy is coming from?" asked Cadence.
"We're working on that now," said Arceus. "But even as we speak more and more life forms are slowly becoming corrupted," "This is a serious and dangerous mission but for someone like you it shouldn't be too difficult,"
"What about my friends?" asked Cadence.
"I'm afraid you won't be able to reunite until this is all over," answered Arceus. "Fortunately for you your wish to reunite with your loved ones should push your determination to find and stop the villain responsible for this," Cadence looked down scratching her chin thinking about what she should do, "This is the only way," said Arceus. "Please your our only hope," Cadence really didn't like the idea of having to go to an alien world, but her friends meant a lot to her if what Arceus said is true then the only way is to defeat the culprit who caused this mess.
"Alright I'll do it," said Cadence.
"We are most grateful," said Arceus. "I promise you that after this is over you will be able to reunite with your loved ones,"
"What happens if I need help?" asked Cadence.
"Don't fret," answered Arceus. "I may not be at your side during your quest but I will be there to assist you,"
"Got it," said Cadence. "So where do I begin?"
Arceus waved his "hoof" in Cadence's direction as a small glowing white orb hovered over to her. "Your first destination is here," answered Arceus. Looking in Cadence could see a small village and big castle in the distance. The castle had big yellow pillars and walls with red tips sitting on a large hill. Inside the village several tan colored creatures with black eyes walked around on what seemed to be mushroom stumps. Their stubby arms carried several different objects like bags and weapons. Just like Arceus had described the place was dark and gloomy as if negativity had settled in the place.
"Ok seems a little awkward," said Cadence.
"Don't worry you'll get used to it," said Arceus. "Now hurry we don't have a lot of time," said Arceus opening a portal to the world. "I wish you luck my friend be careful," Cadence nodded as she entered the portal preparing to start her quest.
Twilight continued down the dark path of the world she had been sent to an hour earlier. She had remembered what Dialga had told her before he sent her here.
"If you wish to reunite with your loved ones this is the only way" said Dialga.
"You said I had to befriend at least one member in each of these worlds," said Twilight. "How do I know which individual is the right one?"
"Each of these heroes are to be chosen by the Unown who currently resides there," said Dialga.
Still confused on how the one eyed letter would choose the legendary warriors, Twilight continued her search on the current resistance camp that was supposedly set up somewhere in this alien world. "I hope Dialga knows what he his doing," said Twilight. Looking at the map she was given by Dialga she continued looking for the small village near the castle. In fact she had been so focused on her map she didn't even notice the gateway leading into village before a guard stopped her.
"Halt who goes there?" the guard called out. Twilight looked up to see two small creatures holding spears. Although they may have been guards they were still small compared to Twilight and since their heads looked like giant Mushrooms with eyes it didn't make them look any less threatening.
"Um I'm looking for a certain resistance camp," said Twilight.
"Name," one of guards ordered.
"Twilight Sparkle," Twilight answered.
"Never heard of it," said the guard. "Where you from Mrs. Sparkle?"
"Equestria," Twilight answered.
"Never heard of that either," said the guard.
"I was sent here on a mission but a certain deity," said Twilight.
"Uh-huh," said the guard. "What business do you have for the resistance camp?" asked the guard.
This Twilight didn't know how to answer without making it sound awkward,"Um I'm looking for a legendary warrior," said Twilight.
"Oh you mean Master Mario?" asked the guard.
"Master who?" asked Twilight. She had never heard of anypony named Mario. Did Dialga really know what he was doing.
"Oh right you were from a different world," said the guard.
Suddenly Twilight heard the sound of footsteps approaching the guards followed by a voice,"Hey guard has my bro returned yet?" Twilight looked up to see a tall figure wearing blue overalls with a green T-shirt underneath. He had green hat with an L on the center and the mustache that sat under his big nose made him look easily recognizable. The figure noticed Twilight and looked up. "Oh um,"
"Master Luigi," said one of the guards.
"Guards who is this?" asked the man named Luigi.
"Uh someone named Twilight Sparkle," answered the guard. "She claims to have come from another world looking for a legendary warrior,"
"Does she mean Mario?" asked Luigi.
"I have no clue," answered the guard. "I highly suggest you take her to see Peach,"
Luigi let out a sigh as he turned towards Twilight forcing a smile,"Well Mrs. Sparkle this way," he said. Twilight confused decided not to take any chances and followed Luigi. As Twilight followed Luigi down the path through the village she noticed that almost everyone she saw was armed. They later came up to a series of green tents and entered the first one they came across. Luigi stopped before calling in,"Princess we have a visitor,"
"Let her in," responded a female's voice. Luigi opened the tent for Twilight so she could walk in. Twilight hesitated at first but summoned the courage to go in. Inside she noticed a woman in her mid twenties or thirties sitting on a throne with two guards by her side. "Welcome," she said. "Make yourself comfortable,"
"Um thanks your highness," said Twilight sitting down on the ground.
"So what brings you here today visitor?" asked the princess. Twilight took a deep breath as she explained who she was, why she was there, and her quest. At one point through her explanation two more figures other than Luigi stepped in and joined in. Once she was done the princess nodded,"I'm sorry to hear that," "I'm Princess Peach," said the princess. "As you can see our world the Mushroom Kingdom has been overrun by this negative energy you spoke of," "If there is truly a way to fix this then please by all means help us," She looked up and pointed to the man next to Luigi,"That's Mario right there," said Peach. "If your looking for a legendary warrior he should be it,"
Twilight turned around as Mario reached out with his hand,"Nice to meet you," he said. Twilight took his hand and shook it.
"I appreciate you giving me the name princess but you see as I've just said Unown is the one who chooses the legendary warrior," said Twilight.
"Ah yes that's right," said Peach. "Well I suggest you go look for this Unown,"
"Do you have any clue to where it might be?" asked Twilight.
"You say it's responsible for causing this mess right?" asked Peach. Twilight nodded. "Then I suppose it's important to the culprit responsible for this," "Check the castle it was swarming with enemy guards," said Peach. "If this Unown is important then it's most likely being heavily guarded by the enemy,"
"Right thanks for your cooperation princess," said Twilight.
"Please just call me Peach," "Oh and one more thing," She snapped her fingers and the third figure, a skeletal turtle with blue eyes holding a large bone stepped up. "This is Bone Shell the Dry Bones," said Peach. "He is our top guard and has a lot of knowledge in the combat system," "Take him and the Mario Bros. they should be able to help you,"
"Thank you Peach," said Twilight bowing.
"It's my pleasure," said Peach. "Now go," Twilight nodded as she left the tent with Bone Shell and the brothers following behind. "Hopefully they'll be ok," said Peach.
The four continued sneaking past guards as they walked through the enemy infested castle.
"So do you have any idea of what this Unown looks like?" asked Bone Shell.
"Yes the question is where they're keeping it," said Twilight.
"Hey how about we check in there," said Luigi pointing to a pair of doors heavily guarded.
"Peach's throne room?" asked Mario.
"Well it's being protected by a lot of guards so I thought maybe they're hiding the Unown in there," said Luigi.
"Good thinking Luigi," said Twilight.
"Ok how do we get in there?" asked Mario.
"Leave that to me," said Bone Shell. He raised his large bone at an angle and threw it striking each of the guards on the head and knocking them unconscious, after a full turn the bone came flying back at him like a boomerang. "There done," said Bone Shell.
"How did you do that?' asked Twilight in awe.
"Bone-a-rang," answered Bone Shell. "Now come on we can't be wasting time," said Bone Shell rushing ahead.
"That's Bone Shell for ya," said Mario running after him followed by Luigi and finally Twilight.
"Ay bro I'm bored,"
"Chill Yami surely somebody would come for it,"
"But Kuro it's been like three hours since we took over this castle,"
Twilight could hear to figures talking with one another in the throne room as she approached the pair of doors.
"Ready?" asked Bone Shell. Everyone nodded their heads. "Ok then lets go," said Bone Shell kicking down the door.
"What the hell?" asked Kuro. Twilight rushed in first followed by the bros. and Bone Shell. "Oh lookie here Yami I told you someone would come," said Kuro turning to his brother.
"Yay finally some action," said Yami jumping up and down.
"Well, well some uninvited guests huh," said Kuro. "Who do you think you are barging into my throne room like that?"
"I'm Twilight Sparkle here to take back that Unown," Twilight beamed.
Kuro grunted,"Someone actually came for the stupid thing?" "I was only joking,"
"Keep the jokes for yourself buddy," growled Mario. "Who are you to attack us like that anyway?"
The two stood up and puffed out their chest,"I'll tell you," "I'm Kuro and this is my lil brother Yami," announced Kuro. "We're two of the top soldiers in the Shadow Force Army," said Kuro.
"And the toughest," added Yami.
"You won't be after this," said Luigi lunging at the the two.
But Kuro quickly dodged his attack punched him in the face and kicked him back towards the group,"Nice try green stache," Kuro laughed. But Kuro was too busy laughing he didn't take notice of Mario who pounded him in the face and threw towards Bone Shell who pummeled him with his bone.
"Who's laughing now," asked Bone Shell pinning Kuro to the ground with his bone. Suddenly Yami came out of nowhere punching Bone Shell knocking him back. Twilight glared as she charged up magic with her horn and launched a blast at the two. Yami quickly picked up his brother and threw him in the air allowing himself to be struck by the blast. Yami yelped causing him to drop a small glass case with something contained inside. The case rolled over to Twilight and came to a stop by her hoof.
Looking inside she could see a small black creature in the form of an A with a single eye in the middle,"Found it!" she said picking up the case. Suddenly the Unown inside began to go crazy causing Twilight to drop the case on the ground and break it. The Unown glared at Twilight with it's menacing red eye forcing Twilight to step back. "Whoa hey there buddy," said Twilight with a nervous look. The Unown lunged at Twilight but before it could strike her Bone Shell came up and struck the Unown with a barrage of his bone attacks. Finally pinning the Unown down on the ground with his bone he looked back at Twilight.
"This guy is crazy what's wrong with him?" asked Bone Shell.
"It's corrupted by some sort of negative energy," answered Twilight.
"Bah Kuro they got the Unown!" screamed Yami.
"Well stop them!" Kuro ordered.
"We'll hold them off," said Mario lunging at the two with Luigi.
"How do we fix this?" asked Bone Shell.
"I don't know," said Twilight. "Try knocking it out,"
"Alright," said Bone Shell removing his bone. The corrupted Unown glared at the two and lunged. Bone Shell pulled back his bone and swung it as hard as he can striking the Unown causing it to yelp and fall onto the ground. Suddenly a burst of black energy erupted from the Unown. The black energy collected together into one big mass before exploding into sparkles. The Unown slowly got up and blinked. The Unown seemed to have returned to normal.
"Where am I?" it squeaked.
"Wait you can talk?" asked Twilight. The Unown nodded.
Kuro and Yami both seemed to have noticed because the two freaked out and began to panic,"Bro the Unown is back to normal," said Yami.
"What!?" asked Kuro.
"That's right it's over you two," said Twilight.
"This isn't over you hear!?" screamed Kuro running out of the room with Yami following behind.
Mario wiped a bead of sweat off his forehead,"So what now?"
"We should go report to Peach about this," said Twilight running out. Bone Shell followed with the brothers behind him.
"So you managed to free the corrupted Unown?' asked Peach. The four of them nodded. "I guess that explains why all the black energy vanished from this area," "I must say we owe you one Twilight,"
"Just doing what I was asked to do," said Twilight.
"So has Unown chosen this legendary warrior yet?" asked Peach. Suddenly Unown appeared from behind Twilight and over to Peach's side. It turned around and looked at Mario, Luigi, and Bone Shell. There was a slight moment of silence before Unown nodded and hovered over Bone Shell's head. Both the brothers and Peach were surprised to see Unown choose Bone Shell.
"Me?" asked Bone Shell. Unown nodded. "Well I guess that's that," said Bone Shell.
"Are you sure about this?" asked Peach. Unown nodded. "Well if that's who you would consider a legendary warrior then I guess I won't judge,"
"So I guess I'm coming with you now?" Bone Shell asked Twilight. Twilight nodded. "Alright then,"
"I think I'll stay here," said Unown. "I like it here,"
Suddenly Dialga's voice echoed throughout the tent,"Well done Twilight Sparkle you've found your first legendary warrior," "When you are ready I will bring you two back,"
Bone Shell looked at Twilight and nodded,"Well I thank you for your time Peach," said Twilight.
"Be careful out there," said Peach. Twilight nodded. the two of them said their farewells with the Peach, Unown, and the bros. before they stepped into the portal Dialga had summoned for them.
As Starlight continued to walk down the path, the stares of the humans seem to increase with every step she took. Geez if Palkia was planning to send her to the human world, he should've at least transformed her into a human.
"Relax I'm not staying here for the rest of my life," mumbled Starlight. But the girl to her left only made the situation more awkward.
"Mama, mama there a pink pony walking,"
"Don't pay attention to her just keep walking," said the mother.
Starlight groaned,"Ugh great now everyone is treating like I'm some foreign disease,"
"Hey, hey what do we have here?" a voice spoke up behind her. Starlight turned around to see three girls standing there smirking and giggling among themselves. "Looks like a local toy store lost one of it's stuffed animals," said one of the girls mocking Starlight. The two girls next to her starting laughing.
Starlight blushed in embarrassment and turned around,"Now Starlight don't let them get to you," Starlight told herself.
"Hey come on pony don't turn your back on us," said another one of the girls putting her hand on her shoulders.
"Please let me go," said Starlight.
"Oh it talks must be a robotic stuffed animal," mocked the third girl.
"We should take out her batteries," laughed the first girl shoving her into a wall. Starlight bit her lips to keep herself from screaming. She didn't want to drag anymore attention to herself. "Come on pony say something we know you can talk," said the first girl.
"Maybe she's broken," laughed her friend.
"Knock it off you guys," said a forth voice. Starlight and the three girls looked towards the direction the voice came from. A girl who looked to be about in her teenage years stood there with a blank expression on her face. She was wearing a brown grey mix colored jacket with a black scarf. Her hair was cut short and had black glasses that seemed to match her black eyes. The three girls seemed to freak out when they made eye contact.
"Asada!?" the first girl screamed.
Asada stepped forward with a serious look and repeated herself,"I said Knock it off," The three girls quickly moved away and ran off looking nervous. Asada walked up and knelt down to Starlight's eye level,"Are you ok?" she asked.
"Yeah I'm fine," answered Starlight. "Thank you,"
"Those three just don't know when to quit," said Asada sighing. "By the way haven't seen you before," "Are you new here?" she asked.
"Yes," answered Starlight. "I wasn't originally from this world so,"
"What?" asked Asada stunned.
"Listen I'm looking for somebody," said Starlight. "I don't exactly know I'm looking for but," Starlight realized that she wasn't making any sense unless she explained to Asada what was going on. Starlight let out a sigh before looking at Asada in the eye,"Listen what I'm about to tell you is important,"
"What do you mean?" asked Asada.
"We shouldn't stay here," said Starlight. "If you someplace safe I would appreciate if you can show me the way," "I'll explain everything while we walk,"
Asada was still confused but the tone in Starlight's voice was serious. Knowing that something was wrong she decided that the best course of action was to help her out,"Well I DO know a friend who might be able to help,"
"Good enough," said Starlight standing up,"Let's go," said Starlight running off.
"Hey wait!" Asada called out from behind. Meanwhile a figure wearing a black robe quickly peeked out from behind a tree.
As Asada and Starlight walked they introduced themselves to one another as well as name off a few of their friends as a bonus. Apparently Kirito was the friend that Asada had mentioned earlier. Starlight hoped that this Kirito was the so called legendary warrior that Palkia had sent her to find. But of course she had to explain the current situation to both of them.
"Well here we are," said Asada. Starlight stared in awe as Asada stopped her in front of a big house one that was similar to a Japanese shrine or mansion in the old days.
"This is where he lives?" asked Starlight.
"Yeah," answered Asada ringing the doorbell. The two stood on the front porch waiting until the sound of footsteps approached the door. The door opened revealing a girl in a white T-shirt standing there. She looked almost younger than Asada but the high school vibe still flowed out of her. Unlike Asada her hair was a little shorter but with black eyes like Asada. "Oh Suguha," said Asada.
"Miss Asada what brings you here today?" asked the girl.
"Is Kirito home?" Asada asked.
"Oh yeah he is," answered the girl. Her smile suddenly dropped as she noticed Starlight standing there. "Oh um..."
Asada obviously knew,"Don't worry Suguha she's just a friend of mine,"
"Oh ok," said Suguha. "Well come in," she said opening the door letting the two in. She turned around and screamed down the hall,"BIG BROTHER MISS ASADA IS HERE!"
A male's voice responded from upstairs,"ALRIGHT I'M COMING DOWN!"
"He's coming," said Suguha. "Why don't you two take a seat and I'll make some tea,"
"Yeah alright," said Asada walking into the living room Starlight following behind. The sound of footsteps was heard coming down the stairs and towards the living room. Suddenly two figures appeared at the doorway a male and a female. The male also looked like he was still in high school and had short black hair like Suguha and matching black eyes. He was wearing a plain black sweater and a brown pants. The girl next to him looked almost a year older and had caramel colored hair with a slight beige in her eyes. She was wearing a white sweater and a red skirt red a white stripe.
"Oh Asada I didn't know you were coming over," said the boy.
"Well now you know," said Asada. "I see that Asuna is here as well,"
"Yeah it's been a while so I asked her if she wanted to visit," said the boy. The two noticed Starlight and stared at her in a awkward fashion.
"Um hi," said Starlight waving her hoof.
"Um Asada who is?" said the boy.
"Don't worry Kirito she's a friend," answered Asada.
"Oh I see," said Kirito walking in with Asuna.
"She wanted to meet you," said Asada.
"Oh what for?" asked Kirito. At that moment Suguha walked in carrying a tray with five cups and a kettle.
"Kirito wouldn't it be better if we introduced ourselves first?" asked Asuna.
"Oh right," said Kirito looking embarrassed. Starlight sighed as she introduced herself to her new friends with Kirito, Asuna, and Suguha following her example after she was done.
Kirito took a sip from his cup before turning towards Starlight and asking,"So Starlight right what can I help you with?"
"Oh well it's a long story so I hope you wouldn't mind if I took some of your time to explain everything," said Starlight.
"Not at all," said Kirito. Starlight sighed as she began explaining to the four about what happened in Equestria, Palkia's request, the Unowns, the distortion, and the quest for the 28 legendary warriors. By the time she was finished the for of them we're staring at her stunned by what they just heard.
"Yeah I know," said Starlight. "I couldn't even process this at first but I'm telling the truth,"
Kirito scratched his chin,"This is just unbelievable,"
"I mean that would explain why everyone has been so sour these days," said Asuna.
"If what you said is true then this world could be in danger," said Asada.
"I AM telling the truth," said Starlight. A knock on the door had suddenly interrupted the conversation.
"Who is it now?" asked Kirito getting up. The other three got up and followed Kirito to the door. Upon opening the door a figure wearing a delivery man's uniform with a box in his hand was standing there.
"Uh package for miss Glimmer," said the figure.
"What I didn't order anything," said Starlight.
"No it specifically says to Miss Starlight Glimmer," said the figure.
"Oh well in that case," said Starlight reaching out to take the box.
"Wait," said Kirito blocking her. He turned towards the figure with a serious look,"Starlight JUST got here there is no way that she could've gotten a delivery,"
The figure dropped his box and began to laugh,"Impressive," he said. He quickly grabbed Starlight by the hoof and pulled her forward drawing a knife from his back pocket. Starlight yelped trying to pull away from the figure,"Die," said the figure. Suddenly Suguha threw a stream of boiling water from the tea kettle at the figure causing him to yelp and let go of Starlight. Kirito pulled Starlight back.
"Are you ok?" asked Asuna.
"Yeah I'm fine," answered Starlight.
"Who the hell are you?" growled Kirito.
The figure laughed,"You really want to know then fine," He removed his outfit revealing the black robe he had underneath. "My name is Abyss," said the figure. "I'm the top underling in the Shadow Force Army," "And you," said Abyss pointing to Starlight. "I know why your here," "If you really think I'm just gonna let you get in the way of the Shadow Force then your wrong,"
"Sugu go get my kendo stick," said Kirito turning towards his sister.
"Oh and by the way," Abyss pulled out a glass case containing a black B with a single eye on the top. "If you want this Unown you'll have to get from me," laughed Abyss.
"What are you planning?" growled Asuna.
"None of your concerns young lady," said Abyss. "After all the Unown may choose you as the legendary warrior,"
"You won't get away with this," hissed Starlight lunging at Abyss. Abyss quickly side stepped and kneed her in the stomach before kicking her knocking her back into Asada.
"Ha is that all you got?" laughed Abyss. 'At this rate you'll never get this Unown back,"
"We'll see about that," said Asuna.
"Oh what are you gonna do fistfight me?" laughed Abyss. Kirito glared at Abyss quickly noticing his sister sneaking up behind him with two Kendo sticks. Seeing what she was about to do he quickly looked away and kept his mouth shut. "Whats wrong don't have the guts to fight me?" laughed Abyss. Suddenly Suguha quickly pulled her arm back and knocked the glass case out of Abyss's hand with her kendo stick. "Wait what the hell!?" yelped Abyss suddenly realizing what just happened.
"Sugu my stick!" Kirito called out. Her sister quickly threw the stick over Abyss's head and towards her brother. Kirito quickly grabs the stick and points it towards Abyss. The Unown looked around and glares at Starlight, Asada, and Asuna. "Starlight deal with that Unown well handle this!" Kirito called out.
The Unown lunged at Starlight knocking her down. Starlight quickly got up and began charging her horn for an attack. The Unown turned it's attention towards Asuna and hissed. "Get away from me!" yelped Asuna kicking the Unown towards Starlight. The Unown slowly got up and glared at Starlight. Once again it lunges towards Starlight but with her attack now fully charged Starlight lets loose a magic blast striking the Unown and knocking it out.
"Did I get it?" asked Starlight. Suddenly Unown's body began to twitch as a massive amount of black energy erupted from the Unown causing the three to fall back. The black energy then gathered into one big mass before exploding into sparkles. The fainted Unown slowly got up blinking and looking around. Starlight quickly ran over to it and watched it float up to her. The Unown stared at her as if it was confused. Starlight reached out with her hoof. The Unown inspected her hoof as it jumped on allowing Starlight to pick it up. Starlight raised the Unown in the air and beamed,"We got it!"
Kirito and Sugu turned around to see the Unown sitting peacefully on Starlight's hoof,"Nicely done Starlight," Kirito called out.
Abyss growled as he turned towards the group,"You may have gotten that Unown but you won't be so lucky next time," He quickly jumped over Suguha's head and ran off. Kirito and Suguha returned to their group to check on everyone. Suddenly the dark clouds that covered the sky began to disperse revealing the bright sun.
"So now what?" asked Suguha. Suddenly Unown jumped off Starlight's hoof and looked at Asuna, Asada, Suguha, and Kirito intently with it's one eye. After what seemed like 30 minutes Unown hopped over to Kirito and hovered over his head. It began shaking it's body like crazy as if it was trying to tell Starlight something.
Starlight's eyes widened as she realized what it was trying to say,"It's Kirito isn't it," The Unown bounced up and down in glee. "I thought so," said Starlight.
"My brother!?" screamed Suguha.
"Kirito please I need your help," begged Starlight.
Kirito smiled as he patted her on the head,"I know," Starlight looked at him stunned. "Suguha I hope you won't mind me leaving home for a while," said Kirito.
"Well to be honest I don't like it but," Suguha stopped before looking up."Good luck," she said.
Kirito nodded and turned towards Asuna. Asuna smiled and knelt down for Starlight,"Take good care of him," she said.
"I will," replied Starlight.
"Try not to kill yourself," said Asada.
"I won't," said Kirito.
Suddenly Palkia's voice echoed from above them,"Well done Starlight Glimmer," Suddenly a portal to the Space Realm opened before them,"When your ready step through with your warrior,"
Starlight nodded and looked at Kirito. "Hold on I need to prepare," said Kirito running upstairs. Starlight walked out and stood near the portal ready to go back. After a while Kirito came down with a bag on his shoulders. The two waved goodbye with their friends before stepping through the portal re-entering the Space Realm.
As Spike opened his eyes, he felt a strong numbing sensation in his head. Looking around his surroundings all he could see was white. Not only that but he felt as if he was standing on his head. He felt around with his arms only to feel a cold touch above him. Pulling as hard as he could he managed to free his head from the snow. Looking around he noticed a bunch of trees behind him and a pathway leading to his left and right and more trees in front of him.
Looking up he noticed that it was pitch black,"Ugh Giratina where in Equestria did you send me to?" mumbled Spike. He stood up and noticed a gate in the distance to his left. A giant pair of purple doors were to his right. Spike decided to go left since the doors didn't look like they would open. "I've gotta find out where I am," said Spike making his way to the gate. However as he was walking he suddenly got the feeling someone was watching him. he quickly picked up his pace. It was when he reached the gates when he heard footsteps approaching him. Spike's heart began to race as the footsteps got closer and closer eventually stopping behind him.
"Dragon don't you know how to greet a new pal," a deep voice spoke up from behind. "Turn around and shake my hand," Spike slowly turned around and grabbed the hand that was reaching out. Upon grabbing the hand, the sound of a raspberry erupted from the figures hand. "Heh the old whoopee cushion in the hand trick it's always funny," said the figure. Spike looked up to see a skeleton wearing a blue hoodie, white T-Shirt, black shorts, and pink slippers. "Heya buddy," said the skeleton.
"Um hi?" said Spike.
"Oh come on buddy that was funny," said the skeleton laughing.
"Um ok who are you?" asked Spike.
The skeleton pointed at himself and said,"I'm Sans, Sans the Skeleton," "I'm actually supposed to be on a lookout for humans but eh your no human are you?"
"Um No i'm not," said Spike.
Sans shrugged,"Well then again I don't really care about capturing anybody," "Now my brother Papyrus he's a human hunting fanatic, actually I think that's him over there," said Sans pointing to a taller skeleton wearing a red scarf. "I've got an idea go on through this gate thingy, yeah go on through my bro made the bars too wide to stop anybody,"
"Uh ok," said Spike walking through the gateway.
"Quick hide behind that conveniently shaped lamp," said Sans pointing to a nearby lamp.
"Why?" asked Spike confused.
"Uh because," But it appears Sans didn't have an answer. At that moment Papyrus came running up sounding kind of mad.
"Sup brother," said Sans.
"You know what's up brother," hissed Papyrus. "It's been eight days and you still haven't recalibrated your puzzles!" "You just hang around your station," "What are you even doing!?"
"Um uh something," said Sans. "Hey by the way look what I found," said Sans pointing to Spike.
"Sans I don't have time for-" Papyrus looked at Spike with a confused look. "Um Sans what is that?"
"Hi I'm Spike," said Spike waving his hand.
"Spike?" asked Papyrus. "You mean the things in the ruins that can kill you if you step on it?"
"What no that's my name," said Spike.
"Oh," said Papyrus. "Well hello Spike I am the Great Papyrus,"
"Isn't he just the coolest?" asked Sans looking at Spike with one glowing blue eye. Feeling that he should probably play along he gave Papyrus a big thumbs up to show that he agrees.
"Yeah I knew you would think so," said Papyrus. He turned towards Sans with an annoyed look on his face,"As for you brother put a little more Backbone into your job," cackled Papyrus,"Nyeh, heh, heh, heh,"
"Hey nice pun there buddy," said a voice from behind Papyrus. The three turned around to see a figure in a black robe standing there with a glass case containing a black C with an eye in the center in his hands.
"Wha who are you?" asked Spike.
"The names Jenoside, I'm one of the top underlings for the Shadow Force Empire," said the figure.
"Jenoside?" said Sans looking down.
"Hmm something wrong bonehead?" asked Jenoside.
"You don't think I do murder?" asked Sans with one glowing eye.
"Oh right my name, yeah I guess you can say I slayed some of your friends," smirked Jenoside.
"Wait is that?" asked Spike.
"Oh this yeah you were looking for this weren't you?" asked Jenoside. "Indeed this is an Unown," said Jenoside.
"A what?" asked Papyrus.
"Bro get back he's not safe," said Sans.
"Oh come on bro it's not like he's gonna-" But Papyrus's statement was cut short when a sharp pointed object suddenly appeared out of Papyrus's back. By the time Papyrus realized what happened his head fell off and transformed into dust. Jenoside putting his sword back.
"Oops," smirked Jenoside.
Sans walked over and picked up his scarf tears rolling down his cheek. "Spike was it?' asked Sans.
"Um yeah?" asked Spike.
"You need that thing in the case?" asked Sans.
"Yeah," answered Spike.
"Then I'll get it for you," said Sans his eye glowing blue.
"Oh what's this you wanna fight?" asked Jenoside. "Fine we can go," said Jenoside drawing his knife.
Sans snapped his finger as multiple bones appeared around him,"It's a beautiful day outside, birds are singing, flowers are blooming, on days like these, demons like you, should be burning in hell,"
"We'll see about that!" said Jenoside lunging at Sans swinging his knife.
Sans quickly sidestepped avoiding his attack laughing,"What you think I'm just gonna stand there and take it?" He then snapped his fingers launching several bones at Jenoside. But Jenoside either dodged or deflected his attacks. He raised his knife to go for another attack only to be pelted in the face by a handful of snow. Sans looked back to see Spike holding a snowball in his hand.
"Get away from him," Spike hissed.
Jenoside cleaned his face of the snow and growled,"So that's how you wanna play it huh," "Fine we can go like that," Jenoside ran at Spike knife in hand. Spike yelped and covered his face with his hands. Sans snapped his fingers as a giant floating skull appeared in front of Spike. It opened it's mouth firing a white blast towards Jenoside knocking him back and the glass case out of his hands. Sans reached up as the case landed in his hands.
"Hey kiddo catch," said Sans tossing the case towards Spike. Spike grabbed the case and opened the hatch releasing the Unown. It glared at Spike and hissed. Terrified Spike quickly grabbed a handful of snow and chucked it at the Unown knocking it into a tree.
"Hey give that back!" said Jenoside getting up.
"Hey kiddo you deal with that I'll handle this," said Sans. As Jenoside and Sans duked it out, Spike kept pelting snow at the Unown but none of the attacks were keeping it down. As the Unown lunged at Spike for another attack, Spike felt his nose getting twitchy as he accidentally sneezed out fire into the Unown causing it to freak out and run around like crazy. The Unown eventually collapsed on the ground.
"Did I do it?" asked Spike. Suddenly black energy erupted from the Unown and formed into one big mass that exploded into light and vanished. The Unown slowly got up and shook itself back into reality.
"Where am I?' it asked.
"What you can speak?" asked Spike. The Unown looked at Spike and yelped. "Oh sorry I didn't mean to scare you," he said raising both of his hands in surrender. Sans and Jenoside looked over to see Unown and Spike.
"Hey I think he came back to sense," said Spike waving his hand.
"Blast!" said Jenoside. He pointed his finger at the two and hissed,"You're lucky but I'm going to let you off the hook for today," He then ran off from the direction he came from. Sans picked up Papyrus's scarf and wrapped it around himself.
"Sans I'm sorry," said Spike.
"No kiddo it's not your fault," said Sans. He turned around and looked over at Unown,"So why exactly did you need this thing?"
"Oh well it's a long story," answered Spike. And so Spike explained to Sans about everything. Sans nodded his head once he was finished,"I see," "So this thing is gonna choose the so-called legendary warrior?" asked Sans. Spike nodded.
"And well it seems like no one else is around so I guess your the legendary warrior," said Unown.
"Heh yeah," said Sans.
Suddenly Giratina's voice echoed throughout the entire area,"Well done young one, once you are ready enter the portal and return," said Giratina as a portal appeared in front of them.
"So what are waiting for?" asked Sans.
"Nothing," said Spike.
"I think I'll stay here," said Unown.
"You sure?" asked Spike. Unown nodded. "Well then let's go," said Spike walking into the portal followed by Sans.
It's been at least an hour or so since Cadence entered this strange Alien world and she was already making friends with strangers. The dark clouds above the field she was walking on made it look like a storm was coming her way. She had just met two residents here that go by the names of Tiff and Tuff who were apparently the children of the Cabinet Minister in this world.
"Are you sure you know where we're going?" asked Cadence.
"Of course," Tuff answered with a smile. "Why wouldn't we?"
The three continued to make their way to the little village nearby,"I don't know maybe this Kirby isn't the one I'm looking for," said Cadence.
"Trust us Kirby is DEFINITELY the one," said Tiff.
"Alright if you say so," said Cadence following the two. Thinking back she had remembered Arceus telling her that the Unown would be choosing the so-called legendary warrior. If this Kirby was as powerful as these say he is, could Unown even tell if he was strong or not.
"Alright we're here!" said Tuff waving his hand on the top of the hill. Tiff quickly grabbed Cadence by the hoof as she ran up the hill to where her brother was. When Cadence got to the top she saw the village she had seen in the orb Arceus had shown her.
"Wow," said Cadence staring at the village in awe.
"This is Cappytown," said Tiff.
"Come on Kirby should be Kawasaki's place," said Tuff running ahead. Cadence still stunned at the village ran after Tuff and his sister. Very soon she would come face to face with the so-called star-warrior.
Ever since the distortion over the Mushroom Kingdom, The Human world, and the Underground was erased Equestria had come in contact with the three dimensions. Certain residents from the three dimensions entered Equestria to spread the word about their current situation. After receiving the news that Starlight, Spike, and Twilight were safe the ponies of Equestria stopped the panic, originally the ponies were gonna receive aid from the three dimensions to help find Cadence but after Arceus spread the word, it was safe to say that there was no need to panic.
Meanwhile at Celestia's castle a small group had gathered to discuss their plan to put an end to this madness. Both Asgore and Undyne who had managed to survive Jenoside's rampage back in the underground had agreed to lend their strength to Celestia and Luna as well as Peach.
"So according to the news we received from the creation trio this Shadow Force group has been sending their strongest men to guard the corrupted Unown," said Peach. "It is apparent that they will return to normal after beaten in a battle,"
"However the biggest question is how did Shadow Force manage to corrupt these Unown," stated Mario.
"We can only guess that however Shadow Force is managing to pull this off they must have sort of energy source they're getting their power from," said Celestia. "I had asked one of you to look into this who was it again?"
"That would be my royal scientist Alphys," said Asgore.
"Can you contact her to see if she found any important information?" asked Celestia.
"Um actually I..I have the results here," said Alphys walking in.
"Very well," said Celestia.
"Well it...its apparent that the....the energy source for Shadow Force i....is Negative Energy," said Alphys.
"Negative Energy?" asked Asuna.
"I believe Twilight had mentioned something about black aura bursting out of the Unown she defeated," said Peach. "Could it be the Negative Energy that Alphys is talking about?"
"Possibly," said Celestia.
"Ok so we know that Negative Energy has something to do with this madness the question is where does Shadow Force get it," said Luna.
"Isn't it obvious they get from life forms," said Rainbow Dash.
"Yes we know that she means HOW," said Asada.
"I mean you can't just extract that stuff from our bodies there has to be some other way they're doing it," said Undyne.
"Allow me to explain," a voice spoke up.
"Who said that?" asked Applejack. Suddenly the door behind the group burst open as a figure in a black hoodie walked in. He was wearing not only a black hoodie but black pants and shoes. A big scar had run over his left eye and yet he was still able to glare with both eyes. "Who are you?" asked Applejack.
"The name's Scar, I'm one of the Elite Commanders in the Shadow Force," he answered.
"Shadow Force!?" said Rainbow getting out of her chair.
"That's right, I heard from our top underlings, your pathetic friends interfered with our plans," said Scar.
"Who wouldn't?" hissed Undyne. "One of your stupid underlings tried to kill us!"
"Oh please," Scar scoffed. "This is exactly what you fools deserve for spreading the negativity,"
"What do you mean?" asked Celestia.
Scar chuckled,"You STILL don't realize?" "The negativity from all life forms was bad enough but no it just kept growing until you created HIM,"
"Him?" asked Asuna.
"Yes the Negativity Deity Dark Matter," answered Scar. "You self-centered fools who would only look out for themselves,the selfish beings that strive in this world had created the negativity," "If only you would've kept it low enough, the creation trio would've been able to keep the Balance of Creation stable,"
"So what your saying is we're to blame for the existence of this Dark Matter am I right?" asked Luna.
"Indeed," answered Scar. "If only you all would've hadn't been so cold to one another, nobody would've spread their hate, jealousy, and all other negative emotions you could think of to it's ultimate limit," Scar smirked,"But it's too late for that now, you created Dark Matter and now it continues to grow stronger by the hour," "Tough luck maybe if you'd only control all that negative emotion within you he wouldn't be alive,"
"Hah what does a bunch of stupid emotions have against us we can just crush them," said Rainbow.
"Wow even after all that I said you STILL believe that you can beat Dark Matter like that?" asked Scar. "You're even more pathetic than Shadow Force themselves,"
"What!?" hissed Rainbow.
"Don't you get Dark Matter is negativity itself, you can't get rid of him no matter how many times you beat him he'll just come back," answered Scar. "As long as Negativity is strong within this world Dark Matter will NEVER die," "You can try to beat him, but just so you know he won't be an easy opponent the next time you face him," Scar turned around. "Well I've already wasted my time on YOU fools, I have some important business to deal with so until than I hope you to do battle with me in the future," said Scar laughing as he walked out the door.
Everyone looked down in silence,"Dark Matter," said Fluttershy. "He is in this world because we created him,"
"A deity we can't erase," said Suguha.
"We're to blame for," said Asgore. The group sat in silence for the next hour or so.
"Hey Kawasaki is Kirby here?" asked Tuff opening the door to his restaurant.
"Sure thing," Kawasaki answered from the kitchen.
"Great," said Tuff running in.
"Come on Princess," said Tiff leading Cadence in. Cadence had to duck in order to enter the restaurant.
"Welcome!" sad Kawasaki walking out of the Kitchen.
"Hey Kawasaki we want you to meet Princess Cadence, a princess from another dimension," said Tuff.
"A princess from another dimension!?" gasped Kawasaki as he ran up and bowed to Cadence.
"Oh my what a greeting," said Cadence.
"Of course you ARE royalty after all," said Tiff. Suddenly a small poyo came from the direction of the kitchen.
"Um what was that?" asked Cadence. Just as she asked a small pink ball with red feet poked it's head out from the kitchen. It had small stubs for hands, small pink cheeks and big blue eyes. Cadence's eyes widened upon laying her eyes on the creature. It walked up to her and raised one of its hands as it let out a small poyo. "Um Tiff is this who I think it is?" asked Cadence.
"Yep this is Kirby," said Tiff. Cadence looked back at Kirby stunned at what she was seeing. This thing was the legendary star-warrior but it was a LITERAL pink ball with arms, legs and facial features.
"You've got to be kidding there is no way this thing could be the star-warrior," said Cadence.
"Well I know itself shocking but its the truth," said Tiff. Cadence scratched her eyes to make sure she wasn't seeing things only to find the pink puffball still standing in front of her.
Cadence slumped down,"Oh you've gotta be kidding me," Kirby walked up to Cadence and jumped up with glee. "Well if you're saying this is Kirby I believe you, I just hope this visit wasn't a waste of my time," said Cadence.
"Trust us it isn't," said Tuff. Suddenly the door to the restaurant opened as a small figure wearing a mask and blue cape walked in.
"Tiff," the figure called out. The group turned around.
"Oh Sir Meta Knight!" Tiff ran up to him. "What is it?"
"King Dedede is up to no good again," answered Meta Knight. He looked up to see Cadence standing there,"Oh um I see you have company,"
"Meta Knight this is Princess Cadence, Princess Cadence this is Sir Meta Knight another Star-Warrior," said Tiff. Meta Knight bowed Cadence following his example.
"Sir Meta Knight what do you mean Dedede is up to no good again?" asked Tuff.
"Another monster?" asked Tiff.
"Not exactly come I'll explain everything on the way," said Meta Knight walking out. The three looked at each other as they ran out after him.
"Oh sweet Celestia," said Cadence following them. "This is gonna be the craziest thing I've ever done in my life,"
As Arceus and the creation trio waits for the arrival of the Chosen 4 and their warriors, the distortion slowly continues to eat away the dimension they were in.
"Do you think they'll be able to make it back in time?" Giratina asks.
"Hopefully, we don't have much more time to waste," answered Palkia.
"Speaking of the devil," said Dialga. The three looked over to the four portals to see Twilight, Starlight, Spike, and Cadence walking through followed by each of their warriors.
"Welcome back," said Arceus. The four looked over to see that their legendary was joined in with the others.
"Um Giratina who are them?" asked Spike. Giratina pointed one of his "hooves" next to him. Spike looked over to see that his friends was here as well. The four's eyes widened as they rushed into each other giving themselves a big hug.
"I'm so happy to see you guys," said Twilight wiping away a tear.
"Wait but Palkia didn't you say we couldn't reunite with each other until all of this was over?" asked Starlight.
"Indeed I did," said Palkia. "But it turns out that the Unowns you saved caused some sort of shock causing the distortion keeping you apart to disperse,"
"So now you can see each other again," said Arceus. The four smiled as they cuddled with each other.
"Uh Twilight what's going on?" asked Bone Shell.
"Oh right I guess we need to do introductions," said Twilight. And so Twilight, Starlight, Spike, and Cadence took the time to introduce one another to their new friends.
"Alright now that's over with I'm ready for my next mission," said Spike after the introductions.
"Now, now Spike let's hold on a minute," said Arceus calmly. 'We have some major updates for you,"
"Updates?" asked Cadence.
"From now on after you all return from your mission in your respective worlds we'll be keeping track of all the new information we might receive so we can get you updated on important info," answered Dialga.
"Oh ok great," said Starlight.
"Yes so first things first congrats on your first mission," said Palkia.
"Thanks," said Twilight smiling.
"Now onto the new stuff," said Giratina. "From now on any world you save from the distortion will attempt to join forces with the resident ponies from your world," said Giratina.
"Oh you mean like teaming up?" asked Spike.
"Exactly," answered Arceus. "Now we've discussed this with each other and we've decided that to make things easier for you four we're splitting the job up," "Each of you will go out and find seven warriors each, since you befriended one each of you need six more,"
"Alright," said Starlight.
"Another thing, we figured that legendary warrior might be a mouthful so we came up with a name to make things slightly easier for you," said Giratina.
"They'll still be consider as legendary warriors but for now let's just call them The Enforcers," said Arceus.
"Huh The Enforcers sounds kinda cool," said Spike.
"Yes now one final thing," said Arceus. "It's regarding the villains called Shadow Force I believe each one of you met the top underling," The group group nodded. Arceus clears his throat before continuing,"We have come to find that The Shadow Force Empire is an organization bent on using Negative Energy to corrupt all living things to use as energy that the members can absorb to grow more powerful,"
"Negative Energy?" asked Kirito.
"Yes right now the Shadow Force Empire is collecting an insane amount of Negative Energy to revive a being born from the Negativity of all living things," said Dialga.
"He is the Negativity Deity Dark Matter," said Palkia.
"Dark Matter?" asked Cadence.
"That's right according to legends Dark Matter is entirely made up of negativity of all living things," said Giratina.
"Because he's entirely made up of negativity of all living things we can conclude that he IS negativity itself," said Arceus.
"Negativity itself," Sans repeated.
"Poyo?" said Kirby.
"Dark Matter grows by feeding off of negative emotions from others," said Giratina.
"Negative Emotions, you mean like hatred, jealousy, anger and things like that?" asked Starlight.
"Yes, it is also said that Dark Matter is an entity that CANNOT be erased," said Dialga.
"Wait what?" asked Bone Shell.
"Like we said Dark Matter is negativity itself, it was born from the negative emotions with the hearts of all living things so its a part of us thus Dark Matter cannot be extinguished," answered Arceus.
"I guess that makes sense," said Twilight.
"Wait if Dark Matter can't be killed does that mean he's immortal?" asked Spike.
"Not exactly, Dark Matter CAN be defeated but as long as negativity is strong within this world Dark Matter will return in the future," answered Palkia.
"Oh," said Starlight. "Wait isn't that a bad thing?" asked Starlight.
"Indeed it is Miss Glimmer," a familiar voice answered. The group turned around to see a figure wearing a purple colored hoodie with a skull and cross bones in the center.
"Toxin!" Cadence screamed!
"Cadence you know this guy?" asked Twilight.
"He's one of Shadow Force's top underlings," Cadence answered. The 4 and Enforcers got into battle stance preparing to take on the underling. "Be careful he's got very deadly poison in those claws of his,"
"Poison!?" yelped Spike.
"Indeed," said Toxin lunging at the group. Bone Shell quickly jumped in front holding up his bone only to have it smashed in two by Toxin's punch.
Bone Shell quickly kicked Toxin sending him flying back before jumping back,"The hell!?" Bone Shell screamed holding up his broken bone.
"Hey buddy looks like you're Boned!" Sans laughed.
"Sans not a good time," said Spike.
"Aw come on that was a real Rib Tickler," said Sans.
"Sans seriously," said Spike face palming himself.
"Oh come on Spike don't be so Edgy!" said Starlight smiling.
"Ayyy!" said Sans pointing is fingers at Starlight.
"Starlight!" screamed Spike annoyed.
Twilight, Spike, and Cadence face hoofed themselves while Toxin just stared at the two in confusion.
"Ok I don't know what just happened but," Suddenly Bone Shell came in and kicked Toxin sending him flying through a portal Arceus opened.
"Well that was easy," said Bone Shell.
"Impressive," said Dialga.
"Thank you," said Bone Shell.
"But your bone broke," said Giratina.
"Don't worry about it," said Bone Shell.
"You know this is perfect timing," said Arceus. Everyone looked at Arceus in confusion.
"Perfect timing for what?" asked Twilight.
"If you're planning to find the rest of The Enforcers and complete this quest you're gonna need some weapons to help you on your adventure," said Arceus. "Bone Shell would you mind coming over here?" Bone Shell walked up to Arceus. Arceus let out a cry as a ball of light hovered over to Bone Shell enveloping him, within a moment and a flash the light disappeared revealing Bone Shell's new golden shiny body with his bone staff also golden.
"Whoa!" said Bone Shell.
"Allow me to introduce you to the new and improved Bone Shell," said Arceus. Bone Shell looked at himself and his new staff shocked at what just happened. "Golden Bone Shell is just the original Bone Shell but with much more attacks and his Golden Bone Staff may not seem like much but getting hit by one of it's magical blast will not only hurt but it will also leave your opponents paralyzed,"
"Cool," said Spike.
Arceus chuckled,"It only gets better," Suddenly four more balls of light appeared this time surrounding Twilight, Starlight, Spike, and Cadence. Once the light died out the four had changed looks completely.
"What in Equestria?!" Cadence said looking stunned.
"Allow me to explain," said Arceus. "Starlight as you can see I've given you a visor, this visor allows you to control any type of magic you summon from your horn but that's not all your attack power has been increased as well as gaining the ability to manipulate different types of elements from your surroundings,"
"Wow," said Starlight smiling.
"Spike I've given you an arm cannon that contains different arrays of weapons such as missiles energy beams and lasers as well as a special pack that contains a special projectile absorbent shield and a jet pack, whenever you want to activate something just use the change option in your arm cannon,"
As Spike fiddled with his arm cannon his pack suddenly spawned a Jet pack allowing Spike to hover above the ground,"Cool Thanks Arceus,"
"Twilight you have a Princess's tiara as well as a wizard's cape and a staff that contains many different spells that might come in handy during this quest, of course you can still use the magic from your horn,"
Twilight swung around her new staff smiling,"Thanks for this Arceus!"
"And finally Cadence I've fully equipped you with that brand new Crystal Rapier as well as that shield of royalty and that thing on your back is the Shuriken of light, it may be big but getting hit by that can do massive damage, it'll also return to you like a boomerang once you've thrown it, and finally that musketeer hat is just for looks,"
Cadence swung her new sword checking her weight only to find it wasn't too heavy or light,"I really appreciate it Arceus thank you,"
Arceus nodded,"Well then now I've finished upgrading Bone Shell and the four you three are next," said Arceus pointing to Sans, Kirito, and Kirby. Once again orbs of light flew over and surrounded the three. Once the light died down it only seemed as if Kirito and Sans was changed while Kirby was still his original self.
"Whoa you guys look awesome," said Spike.
"But Kirby doesn't look different," said Starlight.
"Right but that's where you'd be mistaken," said Arceus. "I've actually upgraded Kirby's copy ability, now he can use a move called Super Suction which allows him to suck up much heavier objects for an infinite amount of time with no problem at all,"
Although Kirby looked like he didn't understand Arceus's words he jumped up smiling with glee.
"Next up Kirito, I've made it so that you have the Coat of Midnight like your avatar from the game as well as a newly equipped chain sword which is extremely painful if you're struck with it,"
Kirito swung his new Chain Sword to test it. Seeing how durable it was he nodded,"It's perfect,"
"And finally Sans I've given you those night vision goggles as well as increased your HP a bit, and that giant paint brush allows you to convert all the art you draw with it into reality, oh and those gold plates on your hood and shorts are just for looks,"
"Heh thanks boss," said Sans.
"Well now that I've fully upgraded you it's time that you guys move on," said Arceus.
"Got it," everyone said in unison.
"I'm afraid I won't be showing you your next destinations since I'll allow you to pick," said Arceus opening four portals.
"Got it thanks for everything," said Cadence waving.
"Good luck to all of you!" said Arceus waving back as the newly upgraded Enforcers stepped into the portal with the four.
