It's the day before Chrysalis's birthday and Fluffle Puff is lying on the couch when this finally strikes her. She hops from the couch, waddles over a floor of icebergs and climbing mountains of chairs. After crossing a lonely desert, she is finally three feet away from the kitchen table. She crosses a river of toys and finally reaches the table. Once she's at the table, she grabs a piece of paper, a bottle of glue, a crayon, and a bunch of glitter. She then crosses back across the floor to the couch and coffee table and begins to draw. She spends several hours on the drawing until she finally finishes it. She then realizes she forgot to grab the envelope. She goes back across the icebergs, mountains, desert, and river and grabs the envelope out of the cabinet behind the kitchen table and then crosses back over to the couch, where she then puts the card inside the envelope then writes Chryssie on the back in crayon.
The next day, Fluffle makes cupcakes for Chrysalis for breakfast and wakes her up with the smell. Once Chrysalis comes into the kitchen, Fluffle puts the hat on her head and sits her down. She then brings over the cupcakes and the card. Chrysalis happily eats the cupcakes before opening the card. She opens the card and smiles once she sees it. She then goes over and gives Fluffle a hug. Fluffle can't help but smile. She's glad she made her friend's birthday special. She really and truly is.
It's a hot and sunny day and Fluffle happily sits on the steps licking a popsicle. Once she finishes the one in her hoof, she goes inside and goes and gets the rest of the box and comes back onside and sits back down on the steps and begins on her second popsicle. After two hours, she ends up finishing the entire box. Chrysalis stares at her dumbfounded. "Why didn't you save me any?" she asks. Fluffle just starts spitting at her. Chrysalis rolls her eyes annoyed and then gets into her disguise and flies off. She's still pissed with Fluffle for eating all the popsicles. After all, it wasn't her that spent a good ten bits on them. Right now, all Chryssie wants to do is get away from pony kind, including Fluffle, for several hours if she can.
It's a beautiful summer day and Chrysalis and Fluffle Puff are enjoying the first day of convention activities at the first ever Fluffle Puff Fan Convention. Chrysalis looks around her and sees Fluffle Puffs everywhere. When Fluffle isn't looking, Chrysalis runs off and hides in their hotel room. Fluffle, on the other hand, goes to interact with her hundreds upon thousands of fans, gladly shooting Fluffle Puff dolls and shirts and hats out of cannons at them. She then goes into the cafeteria area and gets some applesauce. Once she gets he applesauce, she quickly devotes it then goes back out into the crowds of pink and fluff and glitter.
Meanwhile in the hotel room, Chrysalis blows deep breaths in and out into a paper bag. She can't believe she actually agreed to come to this with Fluffle. Sure she'd do anything for the pink fluffle ball, but she has to admit that this is way too far. Then she remembers, she can change into a Fluffle Puff and hide among the crowds, so she does so. Now in her disguise, Chrysalis goes back out into the flood of pink fluff. Now in her disguise, she happily integrates into the convention. Everything is perfect.
A few minutes later, Chrysalis, although in disguise, is spotted by Fluffle Puff. The two then go over and sign autographs for the fans of their skit show. Maybe, Chrysalis thinks to herself, I can get through this charade for one day after all.
That night, the two head off to their hotel room and plop onto their bed and fall fast asleep. Chrysalis as she sleeps has her disguise fade back into her black, hole filled, natural appearance with her long green hair. There's only two more days left, she can definitely survive two more years.
The next morning, the two do a bunch of panels and an auction. Chrysalis doesn't mind the panels, though, because most of the questions aren't directed at her but at Fluffle. She's relieved at this. At the auction, however, she is cheered on just as much to announce the winner as Fluffle is. Overwhelmed by the auction, Chrysalis transforms into a fruit fly and flies out the window and into the night on her way back to their house.
Around midnight, Chrysalis touches back down at their house in Ponyville. As soon as she lands, she reverts back to her changeling form and goes into the kitchen and gets some coffee and then goes into the dining room and puts on the TV and watches Attack of the Ten Foot Beetle.
Meanwhile back at the convention, Fluffle is busy interacting with fans to the point she doesn't even realize Chrysalis left. Fluffle continues to enjoy that day and the final day of the convention on her own, still oblivious to the fact that Chrysalis is gone. At the end of the last day, Fluffle heads back to Ponyville alone, finally realizing that Chrysalis had left early. That makes her sad, alas, she doesn't plan on bringing it up to Chrysalis anytime soon.
It's a cold, foggy, rainy day outside and Fluffle Puff is cooking a can of chicken soup on the kitchen. She pours the can into the pot and begins to stir. As she stirs, she accidentally touches the pot and burns her hoof. She then immediately goes for the sink and runs it under cold water then goes and grabs the first aid kit and puts burn medication on it and wraps it in bandage. She then goes and grabs the pan off the stove and pours the soup into a bowl and turns off the stove. She then goes to the couch and sits down and eats her soup as she watches TV beside Chrysalis. Chrysalis is just glad she's alright and glad she didn't burn the house down. After all, she knows that anything is a possibility with her fluffy friend, so nothing is ever impossible including burning down a house by cooking soup.
After several months of sewing her costume, it's finally October 31st in Ponyville. At 8:00, Fluffle slips into her Chrysalis costume and goes out with her giant pillow case ready to collect tons of candy. Chrysalis heads out an hour later in her Mane-iac costume and her giant pillow case over her shoulder ready to collect tons of candy. A few minutes later, the two meet up outside Twilight's castle, pick up the Mane Six, Trixie, and Starlight and they all head out to do the night's festivities.
Outside the mayor's office, everypony happily tosses spider shaped toys onto a net made of sticky string. Foals run around everywhere. Fluffle happily bobs for apples alongside Derpy and several other ponies. After several hours of games, everypony goes out to collect candy together from every house in Ponyville. By the time the clock reaches midnight, they've hit every house in Ponyville and return to their houses with their spoils. They all plop down on their beds in their houses and fall fast asleep. They can all agree, this has been the funnest Nightmare Night they've had in forever and they wouldn't have had it any other way.
It's a cold, rainy day and Fluffle Puff is home with a cold. As she shivers under the blanket on the couch, Chrysalis comes over and brings her another blanket then goes and makes her a hot cup of soup. Fluffle sneezes and wipes her snout with a tissue. A few minutes later, Chrysalis brings over the soup and Fluffle drinks it. Once she's done with the cup of soup, she snuggles under the blankets and falls asleep. As she sleeps, Chrysalis continues to clean up around the house. All she can do is hope Fluffle learned her lesson about never going out in the rain when your body is entirely fluffy, heavy fur. Chrysalis begins to dust everything and disinfect everything. When it comes to her friend, she doesn't mind being a maid whenever she gets sick. Fluffle begins to snore. Chrysalis looks over at her and smiles. Fluffle is the only pony she cares for and now, that is evident more than ever before.
One day as she was lounging around, Fluffle got bored and got up in search of something fun to play with. After digging through closets and under couches, Fluffle finds a box of Barbie dolls. She then promptly pulls them out and plays with them. As she does, a smile appears on her face. She continues to play with the dolls for hours on end. After about five hours, she falls asleep, dolls falling out of her hooves onto the floor. Even so, Fluffle is glad she discovered Barbie dolls. After all, they're a whole lot more fun than watching the TV all the time. She just hopes they aren't somepony else's.
It was just a normal day when she was strolling down the street when she bumped into a pirate. Fluffle looked up surprised. The pirate stares down at her confused. "Do you want to go find some treasure?" asks the pirate. Fluffle nods then follows him to his ship. Once on his ship, she sets sail with him and the rest of his crew. After hours at sea, the two land on an island with the rest of the crew and begin to dig for treasure. After a whole day of digging, they finally uncover a giant box of treasure. They all stare at the box thrilled. They open it and inside is tons of diamonds, jewels, and gold and silver coinage. The pirates and Fluffle then close the box and load it back on the ship and sail off. The pirates then proceed to drop off Fluffle with half of the findings, wave goodbye to her, and sail off again. Fluffle is glad she got to be a pirate for the day. It's one of her many dreams that has finally come true and because of that, she can't help but smile.
One day, Fluffle Puff is having lunch with Celestia and Luna. After enjoying her sandwich, Fluffle points at their wings and horns and then begs them to give her a set. The two princesses roll their eyes as they make wings and a horn appear on Fluffle. A giant smile creeps across Fluffle's face as she takes to the skies. Once in the sky, Fluffle uses her magic and drops candy and toys down on everyone and creates triple rainbows in the sky. Chrysalis then stares up at Fluffle from the ground and then rolls her eyes. She has no clue why the princesses actually condoned this. Fluffle is literally not the smartest pea in the pod, so Chrysalis definitely feels the princesses made a mistake. What is Fluffle even the princess of anyways? Randomness? Fun? Silliness? Chrysalis just turns into a fruit fly and flies off. She doesn't want to know right now and honestly, she doesn't really care. Fluffle is a princess now and there is nothing she can really do about that. After all, that's not her place to say, but Celestia and Luna's, who apparently thought it was fine to make Fluffle a princess. At least, Fluffle is dumb enough to not fully realize the full extent of her powers.
One dark night, Fluffle is looking up at the stars when she sees a dark figure flying overhead. The figure then comes down and lands right in front of her. Fluffle stares in shock. In front of her stands Nightmare Moon. Chrysalis then comes out to defend Fluffle. "Why are you here, Nightmare Moon?" questions Chrysalis.
"To see if everypony is enjoying my night of coarse," replies Nightmare Moon.
Fluffle slinks away from Chrysalis and goes and hides inside. She then watches through the window as Chrysalis and Nightmare Moon fight until the Mane Six finally arrive and shoot Nightmare Moon back into a weakened Luna. Chrysalis looks down at the little alicorn stunned. "Luna?" she says confused.
"Chrysalis, what happened to me?" asks Luna.
"You turned into Nightmare Moon again," replies Chrysalis.
Fluffle Puff, seeing that it's just Luna comes back outside. "I hope I didn't scare your friend," sighs Luna.
"You did, but she doesn't stay scared for long, she's fine," replies Chrysalis. Fluffle comes over and nuzzles Luna. Luna smiles. Luna's just glad she didn't scare or hurt anyone. The Mane Six then head off after seeing if Luna's truly okay. Luna stays at Chrysalis and Fluffle's for the night. She'll go face her sister in the morning.
It's a beautiful Friday morning when Fluffle sees a scared puppy running down the street. She immediately jumps after it. She soon finds it and confronts it in an alley and sees that it doesn't have a tag and actually has a broken leg. She scoops the puppy up in her hooves and takes it home with her and bandages up its leg. Once it's bandaged up, Fluffle puts a bowl of chicken in front of the puppy, which he happily devours. She then goes over and gets some leather and a nail and uses them to make him a collar. She then takes a piece of silver and carves a name into it and puts it on the collar and then ties it around his neck with a piece of elastic, which she strings through the two holes on either side of the leather.
That afternoon, Fluffle scoops up the puppy and takes him with her to the pet store and buys him a dog bed, some proper puppy food, a leash, a harness, and some chew toys and balls to play with. After purchasing everything, Fluffle takes the bag in one hoof and the puppy in the other and returns to her home. At her home, she sets up a nice little corner for the puppy with his bed, to which she places him in and he immediately falls fast asleep. She loves her little Pubby and now, he's hers forever, and she couldn't be happier.
That night, Chrysalis comes home surprised to see a puppy sleeping in the corner. The surprise soon goes away seeing that the puppy is hurt and realizes Fluffle did the right thing by taking him in as her own. By the end of the week, Chrysalis finally gets used to the new puppy and agrees to let Fluffle keep him. Fluffle couldn't be more excited. She's so glad to finally have a pet to call her own.
