Magic starts leaking out from the portal between the human and the ponies, at the same time zombies, dragons, fiends and more monsters appear out of nowhere attacking people. All appears to be connected to one thing, Duel Monsters.
The splitting of a universe into four isn't without its consequences. The Aether, the glue that keeps each universe apart and at the same time close to each other, is slowly vanishing putting in danger the whole multiverse.
Magic itself seems to be the only thing trying to fix this problem but an evil spirit is preventing magic to do its job and is spreading it into others universe creating anomalies in those worlds and making it harder to fix the Aether. Now a group of teenagers has to stop this as well as finding out how Duel Monsters is connected with all these problems.
On Hiatus : I seriously lost my inspiration for this. Sorry. I don't know if I going to continue with this so I will just put it on hiatus.
"...now, with no monsters left on the field, I summon Dark Magician and declare a direct attack." The Lavender teenager says as she took one card on her hand and put it on the big mat placed on the grass specially made to play the game. She adjusts her glasses and with a small smile, she congratulates her opponent with a "G.G.".
"What?!!!" The Pink hair teen exclaims out loud as if she didn't believe what her friend did. "Rematch. I demand a rematch". She says hitting the grass with her open hand rapidly.
"Ain't sure that is a good idea, sugar cube. It has been five matches already and you haven't won any of them." The blond teen with a cowboy hat says from not far, next to the statue of the school alongside with all her other friends. She had watched Twilight and Pinkie playing the strange card game for an hour now but still, she didn't understand how exactly the game was supposed to be played. But one thing is for sure, Twilight has kick Pinkie's ass all this time. "I don't think Dwelling Creatures or whatever is your thing Pinkie"
"Is actually call 'Duel Monster' Apple Jack and don't feel bad Pinkie. I have known this game since I was a child and I know pretty well this game, it can get really complicated at times." By now, Duel Monsters have existed for more than twenty years but it recently rises in popularity since the release of the new app that allows anyone play for free on their phones. Pinkie rejoices when she finds out Twilight know how to play and practically drags her along with all her others friends from there home to the schoolyard just to play it, or see them play as most of the girls weren't very interested, near the entrance of their school as they always do.
"But I have played the game on my phone and learn all the rules. How is it possible that I didn't win at least one?" Pinkie asks with a thinking frown as she took all her cards and take a close look at them .
"I am not an expert but... " A girl with a Rainbow color hair and blue skin get closer as she plays with a soccer ball kicking it and juggling around with her feets. "I don't think that buying a bunch of cards packs and putting them together will make a good deck, it needs to be well planned, well structure and well balance to be able to work. And just look at it" Rainbow says holding her ball in her hand and gets closer to Pinkie to see her deck."You must have at least 60 cards on it"
"Well, yeah! According to the rules.." Pinke says putting her hands on her puffy pink hair and taking out a small rulebook." I can have any number from 40 to 60 cards in my deck. I don't see the problem. I just guess the more the better."
"Just because it says you can, it doesn't mean you had too. Taking in count that you can only have three copies of the same card at most, fewer cards means you will draw the cards you need fast...er" Rainbow hesitate at pronouncing the last word at seen how her friends were looking at her. Even Rarity stops brushing Fluttershy's hair to just staring at her in confusion. All but one who was still writing in her diary had stop what they were doing to look surprised at Rainbow's knowledge about the game. "I...I mean that's a logical thing to conclude isn't?, is not like I like that kind of egghead game or anything." She laughs nervously turning around and playing with her ball once again.
"Hmm, well. Just as I said before, this game can get very complicated at times. here let me help you build your deck." Twilight grabs Pinkies deck and starts explaining in more detail what she needs to do.
All the others get back to what they were doing, hanging out and relax, well almost all as one particular friend who probably hasn't relax for quite a while.
"Hum Sugar cube? Is everything alright?" Apple Jack asks getting closer to Sunset who hasn't said anything since they arrive. She has just limited herself with no avail in writing in her diary.
"Hu, what? Yea I am fine. Why you ask?"
"Because you have been quieter than Apple Bloom when her grades from school arrive home. You and Princess Twilight still worry about what is happening. arent'ya"
It has been two weeks since the incident with Juniper Montage and the magic mirror and ever since she had tried to make sense out of it. About a week ago, Starlight Glimmer had to get back to Equestria to report Twilight the new and strange phenomenon that is happening right now in the city since the new dairy seems it stop working all of the sudden.
"Ough! Yea I guess so. Is just, ever since that happen we have heard rumors of monsters and ghost scaring people around. What if all this is magic doing it. What if this is all my fault."
Fluttershy yelp at hearing of Monsters and ghost and drop her hair brush on the ground. It seems it was Fluttershy turn to play with Rarity's hair." Please, girls, don't want to hear about this. I couldn't sleep the last time you talk about it"
"Darling, you don't need to worry. We conclude It were simply rumors, miscommunicated stories that spread like fire but false none the less."Rarity says as she grabs the brush and put it in Fluttershy hands.
"Yea don't worry about it. I mean, is not like it was part of Sunset plan that by turning herself into a shedemon and try to conquer her home world with a bunch of teenagers from this world will accidentally bring magic into this world that allows monsters to hypnotize students to get even more power and conquer the world. Also not forget that that magic Sunset brings bt accident no only transforms one or two but three, three innocent girls so far into demons hungry for power and who knows it there are even more out there." Pinke say this with a big smile on her face as she somehow ended up looking at her friends upside down with her head almost touching her back as result of how much she moves when she was explaining things. Sunset tries to hide her face with her book and Twilight grabs her left arm with her right hand looking down in discomfort at hearing Pinkie recap of the events that have happened in school so far. "Humm no offense?... Ok, I totally mean that one. Sorry"
"Pinkie you are so evil," Twilight says laughing a little pushing PinkiePie in good humor.
"Yea you guys. don't let yourself down because of that. We all know it wasn't for the most part your fault." Rainbow says laying down next to Sunset where her backpack was laying taking a bottle of water from it. "Besides, we don't know that it was your fault what happens last time with that mirror."
"But what else could it be. Is because I bring Twilight crown into this world that magic starts to appear all around. And to get things worst, we don't know what this is or if it is dangerous?" Sunset says pointing at a small crystal formation growing in one of the corners of the school's statue.
From a week now, this strange phenomenon had happened all around the city. The local news calls it 'The crystal mischief' and for a good reason.These small crystal formations started to grow in random places all over the city. IT grows in small quantities but because it can grow on almost any surface, in wood, glass, metal or even plastic, it had caused some mechanism and computers to malfunction. Things like traffic lights, car wheels, electric and phone lines, even there were some reports of the strange crystal forming inside computers and phones breaking them from the inside. Scientists haven't figured out how it grows or what is its origins. Luckily, It hasn't been reported to grow on human skin or any other animal or we will have a pandemic on the city.
"Ho yes, the Crystal mischief. Personally, I found it beautiful and a wonderful sight. You girls need to see them in the sunset, Sunset" Rarity says blinking at Sunset. "It reflects the sunlight and transforms any place into a light show. It is simply marvelous."
"Well tell that to the people who crash their cars or those who lost they homework assignment along with their computers because of them," Sunset says standing up and reaching for the piece of crystal in the statue and breaking it into a small piece. Aside from what it seems, those crystal aren't that hard to take off, the bad part is its quantity and the places it grows.
"I hate those things if you ask me. Is because of those things that I fail at the last soccer game." Rainbow's friends were trying hard to not laugh when remembering what happened that day. Rainbow Dash almost got the winning goal in the last game if it weren't for the reflection of one of those crystals that shine directly into her eyes making her lose her balance and falling down in a very comic way. It didn't help that it was raining at that time and that water combined with a grass and dirt of the field make it very slippy what makes her slide directly into a trashcan.
"Hahaha Ahem! " Twilight tries to hide her laughter by pretending to clear her throat. "Yea it was very sad what happen that day Cras... I mean Tra... Dash, that's it Dash, I totally mean Dash." Everyone couldn't hold it in anymore. With the exception of Fluttershy, all girls were laughing her lungs out at Twilight's miss-naming at Dash. Twilight smiled innocently filling guilty of how hard they were laughing at Rainbow.
"You know what? I don't need this. I see you guys later" Rainbow Dash turns back and walks towards her home. Meanwhile, all her friends try to apologize for what just happen. especially Twilight.
"Wait! Dash! Come back! I really didn't mean to say that. I'm sorry!" But Dash didn't even turn to look at her.
"Uhm... I better go with her. My house gets in the same direction anyways and is time to feed my chickens. See you later girls" And just like that Fluttershy walks away trying to catch up with Rainbow.
Rainbow reaction to the little teasing has changed the atmosphere of good fun and relax into one gloomy and awkwardness. The most affected were Twilight, she really didn't mean to say those things on porpoise but the words just get out from her mind.
"Cheer up darling, knowing her she will forget all about this in the morning. But still, I will suggest you apologize to Rainbow the next time you see her" Rarity says with her best cheering up a smile as she patted Twilights back. "well, I need to get back home too, I have to work in my new designs. See you girls at school tomorrow."
"I have to go too. I promised Big Mac to help him on the farm, actually..." Applejack takes her cell phone out from her pocket to look at the hour. "Gosh darn it! I should have been there an hour ago. Sorry girls I have to hurry, see you later. Ho and Sunset, don't over stress yourself with this. If anything happens we will be there to help you. Ok?"
"Yea I know. Thanks, A. J." And with that, the group of seven become only three.
"Sooooooo. girls? Have anything to do today?" Pinkie asks grabbing her cards and safely put them in her backpack as well as grabbing Twilight's deck and mat and handle it back to her owner.
"Me? Nothing in particular"
"What about you Twilight?"
"Humm... Ho! Me? No Why?" Twilight responded still being a little distracted.
"There is this amateur tournament at Whitetail Park. Wanna come?"
"Yea sure. Maybe it will clear my mind of all this magic stuff"
Pinke smile at hearing her answer. Now both Pinkie and Sunset stare at Twilight waiting for her answer.
"I guess I need a distraction too"
"That's the spirit. The spirit of a duelist"
" But Pinkie? That's an amateur tournament. I don't think I can participate. I haven't played for a while but I'm sure I am not considered an amateur."
"No problem you can be my coach and Sunset...hum? Ho! I know, you can be my cheerleader. Here, I will borrow my pom-poms" Pinke grabs some pom-poms out from her hair and passes it to Sunset.
"Hum... Ok. sure why not?" She says moving around the cheerleader decoration around. "Maybe in the way there you can teach me how this game is played?"
"Sure thing, See the first thing you need to know is to believe in the heart of the cards..."
~Whitetail Park - 15 min. ago~
Snips find himself seated in one of the wooden benches of the park alone laying down with a sad frown. Since he has memory, he was a big fan of the Duel Monsters original T.V. show. He must watch every episode 5 times already along with the movie. So when one of his best friends, Snails, ask him if he knows how to play, he was more than happy to share one of his hobbies with someone else. But this isn't what he had in mind.
"Stupid Snails, How he dares winning me in my own game and telling me how the game is played." Snails say standing up on the table raising a fist to the air. "and how he dares to mock my dragon deck. Everyone knows dragons are the coolest and strongest monsters in the game. Even more than those stupid magicians, I mean those monsters have the names of fruits, fruits for god sake. Hough"
Snips seats back on the bench arms cross as he lost the burst of energy he manages to build up thanks to his anger. He had beeing preparing Snails for his amateur tournament but every time they play, Snails end up winning and discussing with Snips of how outdated and simply wrong he plays the game. With his anger getting out the worst of him, Snips left his best friends alone in the tournament without saying a word to him.
He was too angry to notice the sudden growth of a crystal forming next to him in the wood table that glows with a purple light. Maybe if he had put a little attention to it, he could have noticed the dark silhouette watching him from the inside of the crystal.
"Wait wait wait. You mean that the power of friendship save them?" Sunset asks in surprise.
"Yea! Isn't that amazing? Just like us in real life." Pinke have explaining Sunset about the card game's T.V. show. Somehow the explanation of the rules of the game that Pinke promises end up being about the show. As far as Twilight know, Pinke has been aware of the game and the show existence only a few days ago but Pinke had given a very accurate backstory of it. Did she watch all the 200+ episodes in these few days?
"I had to admit. Listening to "the power of friendship" coming from other places, it sounded a little aaa...cheesy"
"Well embrace it, baby. Because it's our life now." Pinke says dragging Sunset closer as she extends her right hand up in the air and moved from left to right on emphasis.
"Wow look at the hour. At what time did you say the tournament begin?" Twilight asked watching the hour on her wrist watch. It marked 1:21.
"1:30" Pinkie respond.
"We have to run if you want to make it on time. I can't believe we took 15 minutes to get here"
"I told you we didn't have time for an ice cream"
"But my tummy was craving for some pistachio ice cream. I can't let him down." Pinke responds liking the leftover cream on her fingers.
"Let's run. we can still make it" Sunset suggest and her two friends nod in agreement. But even before they begin a loud explosion was heard scaring locals birds.
"Ho... I don't like the sound of that" The girl with glasses says nervously as she looks at every direction looking for the direction of the sound.
"I think it was from the park. c'mon" Sunset suggest as she runs towards the park with her friends right behind her.
"Snips, what are you doing?!" Snails scream at his best friends but the sound of people screaming, buildings breaking and trees falling probably didn't allow Snails voice to reach him.
Whitetail Park was in complete chaos. Several creatures have invaded the park and are making it their own. From dragons at the size of dogs to the size of two-floor houses. Some breathing fire at the sky and others in a persecution of innocent people and all seems to originate from a particulate place.
"Cmon Snips, get down from there and let's talk about it. Am I sorry ok. I promise I will never win a duel again against you. Just get down from that dragon!" Snails try once again to talk to Snips that is on the shoulders of a big monster flying in the air. The creature seems to be a fusion between a dragon and a human. It had a long tail and wings with the torso, head, and arms of a human with some kind of golden armor and with a yellow flute on his left hand in form of a dragon's face.
"Hoo Look who we have here, but is Snails the best Duelist on the world." Snips say it with a sarcastically tone.
"Hoo gosh. I wouldn't call myself like that" Snails seem to not know the meaning of the word sarcasm.
"Good, because I didn't mean it!" Snips was quickly enveloped in a dark aura. That same aura seems to irradiates dark filings like anger, pride, fear and more.
Snails had taken steps back, not because of the huge dragon up in the air he pretty much already gets used to things like that, but because of the angry expression in Snips face. He has never seen him like this before.
"Snails could you please get down from that thing already and stop all this"
"Ok, but with one condition. You must admit you cheat in the last games because I am much better than you and it was the only way you could ever win."
"But, I never cheat"
"No?! What about that time I activate my spell card in response to your trap."
"Dude, how many times do I have to tell you. MST doesn't neg~" Snails couldn't finish his sentences, not before, from Snips hand, it appears a bright light follow by a big dragon with bunny ears and white fur comes down landing on the ground in high speed. He barely resists the shock wave of the dragon landing sadly the ground couldn't take it making the earth to rumble. Snails barely could see the tree falling on his way.
"Haaa!" Snails close his eyes waiting for the tree to make him into a pancake. When he notices that the tree had already taken too long to fall down, he opens his eyes. "Uh?" He opens his eyes to find out one of the student in his school beside him struggling in the air.
"Ough Are... you ok?..." Twilight asks in brakes as she lifts the tree up using her magic. With one hand open in the air and the other grabbing the gem in her collar she pushes the tree aside.
but neither does Twilight or Snails see the rabbit creature coming its way with mouth wide open ready to take a bite of any of them.
"Sparkling bomb!" Pinkie screams out loud as she throws something at the monster's mouth which exploded making the creature to back away.
"Thanks, Pinkie. I owe you one."
"No problemo," Pinkie says without taking an eye off the creature with the face of a warrior.
"It was lucky you carry sprinklers everywhere for occasions like this," Snails hears the third voice from behind him.
"Are you kidding. I always carry Sprinklers, even before I got this cool super power. They just go well with everything"
"Yea right, I forgot," Sunset remembers the weird time she invited Pinke for fish tacos.
"Sunset? Ho! are you girls. Did you come to save the day again?"
"Snails, are you alright? What happen?
"Boss is Snips. He is acting weird and there was this light and then sharp fangs, glass forming in Snips arm and then darkness but I think is because I close my eyes but then... then... I"
"Sorry Snails I don't have time...and what did I tell you about calling me boss?"
"Sorry Boss"
Sunset rolls her eyes as she holds on to her red gem in her neck and touches Snails forehead with her palm. her eyes turning white as information flow through her head in an instant.
Visions of Snips and Snails playing Duel Monsters, Snails winning and Snips don't take it very well. Snips walk away to only coming back a few minutes later with a piece of crystal in hand demanding Snails to admit he cheated. And then lights, several miniatures lights appearing all around the park as the crystal in Snips hand envelop his arm making some sort of blade and then.... screams.
"Snips is possessed by magic too. We had to do something"
"Sunset, What if we make something about the Rabidragon in front of us first," Twilight says as she alongside Pinke try to stop the creature from eating them.
"So you like sprinklers ha. Here are more?" Pinke is trying to explode the dragon's eyes with her powers but it is not working. The Dragon only shakes his head at Pinke explosions like if of it were only an annoying mosquito. It seems it only works on the inside of the dragon.
"He is a summoned creature. The only way we can stop it is if we stop the summoner. Twilight, Pinke could you distracted the dragons and help the others people in the park and try to contact the others. Don't even bother in defeat them. you girls just need to hit and run. I will handle the rest"
"Roger," Pinkie says agreeing with Twilight. "Here oversized rabbit, You can't catch me ♫, you can't catch me ♫ " Pinke trying to get the dragon's attention as Twilight throws logs at the beast with her powers.
The dragon takes the bet and starts following them. Luckily by foot, as he was much slower that way.
"Stupid thing, it never works when you need it. Snails do you have any signal?" Sunset asks as she looks at her phone in frustration.
"Sorry I must have dropped it somewhere"
"Perfect. Go and get someplace safe. I will save Snips"
"Got it, boss"
"Ough"
Snails stand up and take the run. Sunset walks in the other direction towards Snips.
"Ho but if it isn't the boss... I mean Sunset."
"Snips, what are you doing. Why are you doing all of this?"
" I thought you from all other people will get it. Conquering the world of course. I haven't felt like this since you transform us that night. I feel amazing" Snips dark aura increase as a wave of negative filings invade Sunset's body. The blade attaches to his arm glowing in a purple light similar to the aura around him.
"Snips this isn't like you. please get down from there and let's just talk."
"No! I am no longer the minion. Now I am the boss and these dragons are my minions" A thunderous roar was heard from the large and big dragon Snips was on.
"What about Snails, did you forget about him? Are you going to let a simple fight do this to you? Isn't he your friend?" Snips dark aura shrinks as his face changed from pride to insecure."C'mon Snips, I know you don't want to hurt people. Is the magic who is talking right now just get rid of the crystal and everything will go back to normal."
No!!!!!! Snips voice gets distorted and louder as the dark aura increase in size turning his eyes into a red tone. Sunset, in shock, fall down on the ground punching herself in the hand with some crystals in the ground. "You can not longer tell me what to do! I will no longer by muck by someone else"
Sunset could see how Snips grabs a card and place it on the crystal surface of the blade.
It follows up by the mouth of a dragon ready to spit a fireball at her. Sunset finds herself unable to move, she knew that running will lead her to nowhere against the size of that thing. She can only see the firewall coming her way in slow motion.
That is all you can do, young lady?
Sunset hears a feminine and elegant voice, somehow similar to Princess Celestia's voice. Without knowing where it comes from, a wall of fire appears from the ground blocking the dragon's fireball and saving Sunset.
"Hu? Who said that?" She looks around finally finding a small crystal formation glowing red next to where she was laying down.
What are you waiting for? Move, my powers aren't that strong right now to help you two times in a row
Sunset then notices that the big golden dragon in front of her was about to hit her with its flute. She quickly rolls out avoiding the hit but the wind of the dragon's movement pushed her away a few meters hitting a tree with her back.
"Ough"
It seems you are in problems. Do you want my help?
"Ah?" Sunset notices the same red glow was in the trunk of the tree now. "W-who are you? And why do you want to help me?"
Why do I want to help you? you ask? I simply hate dragon, I despise them with all my being. you seem strong enough to handle my flames. I can't do much without someone's help in this world and about the "who I am?" Well. I think It will be easy if you accept my help and use your ability to find out.
"There she is! Get her!" Snips scream as the dragons turn to face her and prepare to attack once again.
"Ok, Please whoever you are, help me." Sunset scream at the small glowing crystal growing in the tree. The red glow of the crystal becomes bigger. From the crystal, a red and yellow light come out and fly directly at Sunset geode in her necklace.
With mere seconds at Snips' dragon attack, flames appear around Sunset. A flaming pegasus appears from the fire but a Pegasus not like the ones in Equestria but the ones humans pictured in their legends with the sizes of horses with big wings that match but only this one was cover in flames, flames that didn't seem to burn at contact with Sunset skin.
"You, you are a Pegasus." Sunset mind was bombarded with the information given by the pegasus that helps her better understand her current situation,"Peryton, Your name is Hazy Flame Peryton and you are a duel monster. How is it... Haaaaaaa" Sunset couldn't finish as Peryton change of speed and direction trying to avoiding the dragons attack. "Hough, A warning will be useful next time." Peryton only slightly turns back to look at Sunset. "Ok, I think I get it now. I know what to do. Get me closer to Snips and I will promise you will fight the dragons in an even field. I know you want that." Sunset powers enable her to better understand other people, or in this case, Pegasus filings.
Peryton seems satisfied with what Sunset says and flies her next to the human in control of the dragon "Snips, Why don't we solve this your way. With a Duel"
"What? Why would I ever do that? I have the advantage now." He says turning his face constantly at Sunset direction as she was flying with the fire pegasus around him "Even if you now can summon monsters like me. My vast numbers of minions will end you faster than you can summon them."
"Sorry but I think you don't have an option" Sunset grab her geode in her hand and snap it from her necklaces, The geode then start emanating a red light and a red crystal start growing around her arm. The growth of the crystal stopped when the same kind of blade as the one Snips have appeared at the side of her arm but now she knows exactly what that blade was for and its name, a duel disk.
"Sorry Snips but you are a Duelist now and you can't deny a duel. I suggest you prepare for the fall"
"But we are in the middle of the summer?" He said as he didn't notice that the dragon was disappearing behind his feet little by little. Snips face the ground as he moans in pain when the dragon finally disappear. Sunset, on the other hand, prepared her fall with her two legs and one hand. "Ough!!! Fine! you want a duel. I will give you a duel."
With their arms rise and deck in proper place. Both Duelists faces each other to start their battle.

"Huh?" Snails ask as a mechanical voice was heard from the crystal devices in their arms with a message appearing in the disk with the same thing it says follow-up by a bolt of lightning that emanate from Snips' duel disk shocking him.
"Snips!" Sunset says in concern. He didn't answer, he just studs there in his knees speechless with smoke emanating from him as the card he had just draw disappear into thin air.
"Stupid new rules, I forgot about it," He said after a while. The lightning bolt seems not that strong but painful nonetheless. "No matter. First" He stands up and rise a card in his hand and place it on the side if the crystal blade like if nothing had happened." I summon Lord of D. (1200 ATK). "A warrior with a skeletal armor appear, arms cross and smile in the face. "then from my hand, I activate the spell The Flute of Summoning Dragon That allows me to Special Summon up to 2 dragons from my hand if Lord of D. is on the field." Now the warrior was holding in hand a flute in form of a dragon and when he plays it, it emanating a screeching and unpleasant sound. "With that, I summon Divine Dragon Ragnarok(1500 ATK) and Rabidragon(2590 ATK) in attack mode. I set one card and end my turn.
Sunset stares at the three monsters in front of her. She can even feel there breathing in her skin. She hadn't thought about it very well but this kind of summoning magic was something amazing. Not even the Princess back in Equestria could be able to summon 3 creatures like them that easy and that fast. The amount of magic capable of doing this is unimaginable.
"My turn Draw!" Sunset looks at her new card and smile at seen a familiar face. She is amazed at how well she knows this game now. Thanks to that flaming pegasus, she was able to learn the game. She even got a deck and all thanks to her. She will go to find out more about its origin later, now is time to duel.
"I will start by activating a spell card, Haze Pillar. It allows me to normal summon a 'Hazy Flame' monster without tributing. Now I normal summon Hazy Flame Sphynx(1900 ATK)." A lion with a female human face and red mane appear standing up on four legs. "Then I activate its effect, I declare a type of card(Spell, Trap, Monster) and send the first card on my deck to the graveyard if the card was the same type as the one I declare then I can special summon a fire monster from the graveyard or my hand. As soon as she does that, the pillar of fire divided in two as Sunset add two monsters from her Deck to her hand ready to summon.
"I special summon Hazy Flame Griffin(200 ATK) and Hazy Flame Hydra(2300Atk) in attack mode." A flaming griffin and Hydra appear from within the pillar of fire. Each one emitting an intimidating sound.

"I use Lord of D. from my graveyard" Lord of D. then appear from a hole in the ground and put himself inside the red light, " and my Divine Dragon Ragnarok on the field." The serpent like a dragon that was on the field jumps at the blue light involving itself by it.

Snips dark aura expands creating strong wind around him that force Sunset to step back protecting her eyes with an arm. With red glowing eyes, he joins both hands together as the two monsters enter the mirror to latter appearing Snips signature monster appear reflected on the mirror. "Level 7 Fusion Dragon, King Dragun(2400ATK)." The big half warrior half dragon with golden armor and scales appear making the clouds dark and with lightening coming from them.
"Sorry Snips, But your dragon is weaker than my 3300 Atk XYZ monster"
"Not for much, I activate my trap card Tyrant Wing and I choose Dragun as the target." Dragun's wing change from black into a bright white as the attack points increase to 2800.

"I am not done yet. I activate Dragun effect, I can special summon a dragon monster from my hand and I choose this one, Tri-horned Dragon(2850 ATK). Then I normal summon another dragon and this is a recently new added to my deck. appear Performapal Drago Remora(1700 ATK) and with its effect, I add 500 ATK to all my dragons except by himself." The yellow dragon with a bow tie and a coin in his head roar giving True Dragun(3300 ATK) and Tri-horned(3350 ATK) a bust on its attack.

"Now, Tr-horned send that chicken to the graveyard." The big blue dragon with large claws and fangs charge at Basiltrice ready to stab it using his long claws.
Basiltrice explodes as soon as the claws of the blue dragon hit it realizing a shock wave that blows Sunset away a few inches.

Wow, that was only a damage of 50 LP, I don't want to know how it feels with bigger damage.

"Ok what about a second attack then. Dragun attack" King Dragun take flight and prepare to strike with lightning from the sky.
"I use Fire Wall once again." and once again a wall of fire protect Sunset this time in for of a dome that pushes the lightning away. When the attack was over, a flame in form of a horse with wing flies through the air. "Thanks again"
"Fine, survive for another turn, but with Dragun effect protecting all my dragons from your effects you can do much. Normally Tyrant Wing will destroy the monster affected by it by the end of my turn but Remora got his back. its second effect protects all my dragons from being destroyed by a card effect, Next turn you are going down." Snips signal Sunset imminent lose with thumbs down."I end my turn"
Snips was left with no monster to attack, but Sunset was left with no pyro monster to defend her life points. With no monster and no cards left on her hand, the result of the duel was decided on Sunset next Draw." I guess I have to trust in the heart of the cards as Pinkie said"

"Draw!" Sunset closes her eyes fearing of what card she draws. Her magic of mind reading has granted Sunset the knowledge to play with Peryton deck. And from all the cards that deck has, she can only remember one monster that will help her in winning the duel. Fearing she can know the fury of Snips' dragons up close makes her hands shake. Her skin turns pale at watching not a brown color card of an effect monster she had hope for but a green card from a spell.
"What? didn't get what you hope for? Don't worry Sunset I will keep you alive enough for you to see the reborn of a new world ruled by dragons with me as his king."Snips laugh as Sunset looks down at the card in her hands, shadow blocking her eyes.
"From my hand, I activate a spell card, Foolish Burial" She put the card in her duel disk, her whole body shaking at what she knows was for going happen next. "I use it to send a Pyro monster to my graveyard." A hand appears from the ground stretching at Sunset deck grabbing one card and dragging it with him into the ground.
"Ho I see. Are you only delaying the inevitable you know? you plan to use your trap to protect you from one of my attacks, from Dragun's attack isn't it, since he is the most intimidating from all my three dragons. Don't worry I will attack first with Dragun so you can use your trap. No need to make you face Dragun's wrath."
"Yea I kind of figured that out already" Sunset sight as she grabs one arm with the other hand. "I end my turn"

"What? a monster effect in the graveyard?!" Snips ask out loud, he didn't expect a monster able to do that.

End of Duel Winner Sunset Shimmer
A robotic voice comes out from the duel disk once again announcing Sunset victory. Then Sunset red crystal duel disk disintegrates in the air leaving only a wristband with her red geode. Monsters that were on the field disappear as soon as Snips lost the duel, even the ones that were still roaming around the park banish given to track behind.
"Ho, it looks nice. Rarity will sure love this...ouch" Sunset says expecting the wristband and fighting the pain all over her body. "So, are you done with your idea of conquering the world with your dragons... Snips?" Sunset asks turning to look at Snips who was laying down on the ground without moving.
It was a strange place. No dark but it wasn't light up either. Concepts like up. down, left or right where meaningless here as the only thing you can do was floating around. It will be boring if it weren't for the monster battle taking place.
A human with a very extravagant haircut was behind four monsters, dragons to be more exact, He has called them by their names but she has given up trying to remember what were they. Ther red dragon with different color eyes, the white dragon with green and clear wings, the dark dragon with intimidating fangs and the purple dragon with noxious substance emanating from its body, all were at the service of the red and green hair color human.
But all of this was nothing special in comparison to what they were facing An enormous dragon a hundred times bigger than the other four was battling them and it seems that it was winning. The human gives his signal for all to attack but they were quickly destroyed as two small dragons at the service of the bigger one came to protect it and destroy all the other dragons in the process.
The explosion of the attack should have pushed him kilometers away if it weren't for an another human, or at least it looks human, in his rescue. The last thing she always sees was the dark humanoid shadow in the head of the big dragon staring at her. That menacing shadow raising a hand and pointing at Sunset followed by a thunderous cry before she wakes up.

"Darling, calm down. we are at school. Classes haven't started yet and you are already slipping. Ho, and you got a little... Hum... let me just get it for you." Rarity explains to Sunset as she takes from her purse a handkerchief and cleans her face with it.
"Rough night?" AJ asks.
"Rough nights. Plural. Ough.." Sunset sight sitting back with a tiered look massaging her temporals.

"Yeah, this is stressing me out. This is the fifth time I got the same dream this week." It has passed a week since the incident in Whitetail Park. Luckily the destruction in the city where minor, relatively speaking of course. The news has explained this as an earthquake that makes subterranean gas to spread out creating hallucinations of monsters attacking people. It was the best explanation a race without the public knowledge of magic can came out with. You will be surprised of how humans accept this kind of explanation at not knowing that magic is real.

"I don't think a psychologist will help Rarity. I am sure this has something to do with this strange magic." Sunset sight at a crystal bracelet around her left wrist. It was a solid crystal with no evident way to take it off. It looks like the crystal had just grown around her wrist, which in fact it did,

I can see it now, a black Tomesode with red and yellow decorations. Let me tell you, the wardrobe of this year theater show of Madam Butterfly will have the best wardrobe in all school history." Rarity squeak in excitement moving around Sunsets bracelet with sparkling eyes alongside Sunset's hand. Apple Jack and Sunset just roll their eyes at Rarity usual behavior.

"Hold your horses A.J," A raspy voice says from behind them as Sunset, Rarity and Apple Jack looks at their friends closing by. Rainbow and Twilight walking together and Pinke and Fluttershy a little behind holding something in their hands.

"We found these two laying down on the side of the street and Fluttershy couldn't help it but to save them," Dash says getting to the side so her other friends could see better what Fluters and Pinkie were holding.
A.J. Sunset and Rarity get close to see two small birds with bandages in its wings.
"Aren't they the cutest, This one right here is Philip and the one Pinke is holding is Samantha. I could hear them asking for help and I couldn't ignore them." Fluttershy says while petting them softly in their heads.
"Hoo, cute pigeons what happen to them?" Sunset asks as the rest take turns to pet the little birds.
"I don't know, they said that something crash into them at high speed when they were flying but they don't know what it was"

They even canceled classes and recommended to not get out of the house unless it was absolutely necessary as if the houses had a magic force or something that keeps toxic gases to enter. Parents didn't allow their children to get out until briefing it was safe to get out.
"I am just glad we can finally get out to breathe the fresh air. " Pinkie says inhaling deeply. "Haaaa sweet, sweet fresh air. It cures my soul." Sunset, Rarity, and Twilight giggle at Pinke's behavior. Probably the one who suffers the most with the lock in was the hyperactive Pinkie Diane Pie.
"Talking about healing..." Twilight's happy expression transforms into a small frown. "How is he... I mean have you visit him in the hospital?" The question has also put a frown on the others faces.
"You mean Snips right? He is ...fine. As fine as someone in a coma could be." Snips have been in a coma state since Sunset defeats him in the duel. Who knows how many of those crystals are already all growing in the city." Sunset sight in frustration taking the magic diary from her bag and looking at her. She didn't know if the diary wasn't working and Twilight turn off the portal by accident when Starlight cross, or if it was something worst.

The strange device seems to be made of crystals like the ones that are appearing all around the city. It has a red blade in form of a triangle with a rounded side in which was connected to a rectangular clear block attach around sunset arm holding the triangle in place. The crystal block has some sort of screen with the words "Stand By" written in it.
"HO MY!. It is gorgeous. It will be the perfect accessory if it weren't for its size. it is too big to carry it around all the time." Rarity gets closer to the Duel Disk touching it with sparkling eyes probably wishing to have a piece of it as part of her gems collection.
"And it comes with its own deck too ha," Pinkie asks looking at the cards that were in a slot on the side of the crystal block specially made for them.
"Yea isn't that cool. It came with the knowledge and all. That reminds me" Sunset grabs the cards in her hands and passes it to Twilight. "You are the one who should know more about this game, have you seen these cards before?"
"Humm.." Twilight spread Sunset deck to see them better and give them a quick check with a thoughtful expression. " I can tell you I recognize some of this cards but not all of them. I just recently re-started to play the game too. I don't know some of the new cards, but they seem real Duel Monster's cards to me." Twilight stuck all the cards in a pile and give them back to Sunset.
"I see.I don't know how this game is connected to the equestrian magic or why it started to appear here or from where. Heck, I don't even know how this thing works," Sunset tries to put one card on the blade but nothing happens.
"Ha Silly. That is very simple," Pinkie says as she gets closer to Sunset. Pinke start moving her finger on the screen of the duel disk like a touch screen changing the words from a" Stand By" to "Summon mode". "There, try now."
Sunset confuse, do what she says and as soon as she puts the card on the duel disk a dog in fire appear in front of her." Woohoo!." Sunset scream in surprise. Luckily there weren't many people around at that time and the few that were didn't put too much attention on the flaming dog. "How did you....?"
"The voice in my head say it to me," Pinke answered with a smile.
"I KNOW IT!" Twilight scream pointing with a finger at Pinkie making all to stare back at her. "Ha hmmm mean what do you mean voices in your head Pinkie," She says while playing with her hair with an innocent smile.
"No voices, a voice in my head. He is the one that told me about the crystals"
"Pinke ho..." Sunset get quiet all of the sudden as she sees closer what was around Pinkes left arm with eyes wide open. "Pinke, Where do you get that?" Sunsets points at the light blue crystal bracelet around Pinkes wrist.
"What? this? I get it when Snips was trying to conquer the world. I bright Yellow light get inside my Geode turning it into this bracelet around my arm. isn't it cool."
"PINKIE!" "PINKIE!" The three friends say at unison surprising the pink puffy girl. "PINKIE!"

"Pinkie why have you say that early" Sunset massage her head with one hand.
"Yes darling, I think you could have said it in all this time we were sharing text messages between each other." Rarity says with sparkling eyes looking at the blue bracelet.
"At least you could say it to me, I was right there with you" Twilight exclaim.
"Sorry, I thought we have bigger problems with the dragons and all." Pinkie reply with a thoughtful face.
"So I guess the voice in your head..."
"Yep, Is a duel monster. A funny one too.He loves to make everyone smile, wanna see?" Pinke gets ready to manifest her own Duel Disk.
"No Pinke" Sunset says as she took the monster card from her deck and slide into the deck once again making the fire dog to disappear. Once she does that, the cards shuffle by themselves follow up by sunset consciously removing the duel disk and transforming it back into a bracelet. "No right now, we have classes"

And as if she had ringed it herself, the school bell makes its sound indicating there were 5 minutes left for everyone to go to their classroom to start their class of the day.
"Ough" Pinkie exclaim in disappointment. "Well, at least promise me to have a duel later on. I was dying to test this."
"What! have you hear what happen to Snips?" Sunset says almost angrily to Pinkie.
"Ha Sunset. you don't have anything to worry. Duels are meant to hurt people, they are meant to entertain and put a smile on people faces." Pinkie replay with her characteristic big smile that makes it harder for anyone that sees it get angry at her. "That is something Yuya always says."
"Yuya?"
"Yep Yuya. Is the name of some guy the voice sometimes told me stories about. I really want to see him in person, He says that he has a weird hair style all pointy with red and green colors. Wouldnt that be funny to see." Pinkie says trying to mold her own hair at the descriptions of Yuya hair style only to puff once again.
Red and green... pointy hair? Sunset gets lost in her thoughts. "... Wait Pinkie tell me mo.. Pinkie?" Sunsets Look around looking for her friend but she didn't see her, actually, she didn't see anybody. *Ring* "Oh, Horseapples!"
In a distance, the silhouette of persons that had been watching Sunsets and her friends from the shadow of a nearby ally sight in frustration.
"Tss, She is already gone."
"I told you we should have done it sooner. Is obvious she need it to go to her classes".
"Don't worry, we can approach her at lunch time."
"Wait? What day it is?"
"Monday, why?"
"Oh!, can we come tomorrow?"
"What? No! Why?"
"TACO TUESDAY!" She says with saliva dripping from her mouth. The sound of someone slapping her own face echo through the dark ally.
.... "Ms. Heartstrings"
"Here!" A raspy voice answer to the teacher within the classroom.
" Ms. Melody"
"Present" A female voice was with an accent was barely heard between the chitchat of the classroom.
Mrs. Cherraly was already taking assistance in the very loudly classroom. Students were greeting and chatting with each other. Luckily it seems Cheerly have already taken her pills and she wasn't bothered by this too much. After all, they get a week vacation from this even though they need to pay it by shorter Christmas vacations, it was a nice vacation free of the presence of annoying teenagers.
Twilight, Rainbow, and Pinkie were already sitting down in their seats. AJ, Fluttershy, and Rarity were in a different classroom than the others. The only one missing from the class where Sunset and another one. If Sunset didn't come before she calls her name, she will be late.
"Ms. Pie!"
"I'm right here" A sheepish voice answer out loud.
"Ms. Poe!"

"Ms. Raven Poe?... I guess she is not here again" Mrs. Sheerly says while putting an X next to her name on her list. "Mr. Sentury~ "
Pinkie looks sadly at the empty seat next to her all while holding a chocolate cupcake in her hands. But that sad frown turn quickly into an angry expression as she watches some of his classmates looking back at the empty seat and laugh maliciously at each other, She stares back at them throwing daggers with her gaze. The classmates just sit back and continue with their chat.
"Ms. Shimmer" The teacher calls but no one answers. " Um, I guess she is late too" Cheerly put her pen in her list ready to put a mark on it.
"Wait! Wait! I am here. I ...am here" Sunset rush into the classroom panting and with sweat rolling her face."Sorry I am late... I.. I got troubles with my locker and an..."
"No need for excuses Ms. Shimmer I already put you an absence. If you want me to change it into a tardy see me after class in detention, If I recall this is your third warning, isn't it?." Sunset sight in frustration.
Sunset had a bad luck with the locker she was assigned this semester. Hers was all the way on the other side of her classroom, It doesn't help that running in the hallway of the school is forbidden too. She had tried to change it but the vice-principal Luna keeps stating that she can't do anything about it. She feels this is some sort of punishment for what happened in the last fall formal.
"The same goes for you too," Cheerly says looking at the figure behind Sunset.
Sunset surprised, jumps away from the person that sneak behind her without she even notice. She was wearing black clothes with skulls on them and with a spiked wristband. She has black, short hair too with part of it covering her right eye. The most noticeable and the most out of place from her hole persona was the red, dog collar in her right wrist with the name "Lucy" carved on a bone plate hanging from it.
"Ms. Poe. Glad you could come here this morning, but I am afraid I need to meet me after class too. There is some stuff I want to talk to you." Raven just nod silently and walk towards her seat.
"Why is she even here. she had missed all her half of the classes this semester" "What a weirdo" *Giggle* "The gothic dog has not the brains to study with Humans *Giggle*" *Giggle* " I bet she was late for chasing a bat she saw in her way" "May be she was occupied writing poems of how empty life is"
Raven didn't hear, or at least she pretends to not hear them, the whispers of the students while she was walking towards her seat in the back corner of the class.
"Good morning Raven, here I brought you these." Pinkie great her classmate neighbor all while putting the cupcake on her desk. The pastry was entirely black with bats, tombs and skulls decorations on it. The whole cupcake looks like a graveyard. It looks a work of a professional pastry chef. "Do you like it? I find how to do them in an internet video. It took me a while to get them right but..." Pinkie stop as she heard the splash of something hitting the ground.
"Ok, Pure dark chocolate cupcake with graveyard design isn't your favorite either. Not to worry" Pinkie says with a smile all while she takes a clipboard from her seat and crosses one of the many cupcake flavors listed on it with a pen. " You will see one day Raven Poe, One day I will find you a pastry of your like and then we will be friends." Pinkie finish saying with a smile taking off the clipboard and taking out a tissue to clean the pastry from the floor and eating the little she can save from it all while Raven didn't even give a glare to Pinkie.
"Ok everyone, Took out your history book to page 84. We will start today lesson with ancient cultures~" Mrs. Cheerilee start the class and while many students took out their books tho loud classroom only lower the sound just by a little bit.
"Hoo No! It seems I forget my History book in my home by accident. Raven can we share yours?" Pinke says with a tone of voice that clearly tell her true intentions by "forgetting" her book.
Raven sight slightly before raising up her book and pass it to Pinkie without even looking at her. Pinke stands up but quickly seats back at seen Ravan taking pictures with her phone to the book as well as taking out another book with the same color skin using them to pretend she had the book.
Pinke surprised by Raven's ingenuity stay still looking back and forth between the book in her hands and hers. "Hu..But.. You... That's... Ough" Pinke resigns and seats back in disappointment slamming the book on her desk and supporting her head with both hands.
"Pinkie, why you keep talking to that girl?" Rainbow says finish eating the sandwich in her hands.
"Ye sugar cube, I know you'had put yourself the challenge to befriend every student in E.H. but it seems a lost cause with that girl." Apple Jack, who was seated next to Pinkie on a table in the cafeteria says, munching one of her own apples she has brought to eat.
"No, no. You will see, I just need to find her favorite pastry and her favorite flavor. I am so close."Pinkie was seated without even graving lunch for herself. She just was seating there looking at the clipboard with several pastries names with differents flavors crossed with a line." I started with a banana nut muffin and I will go down off that. I already try every muffin and every donates flavors I could think off. Now we have moved to cupcakes. I truly belive I had it with the graveyard special this time. Humm"
"That doesn't sound very appetizing" Fluttershy replay graving her fruit salad and started eating it with a fork.
"Ho. that right you haven't seen her. Well, I guess you have. You must have. She is the new student with.. hum.. with~"
"Cmon darling you can say it. With a unique choice of clothing" Rarity beat Twilight to finish her sentence. "I have to say, That isn't my style but, I can judge her for her likings. I just wish she dispose of that red collar in her wrist. She is ruining her gothic style with that."
"Ho, are you girls referring to the gothic dog. Uhmmm!...sorry" Fluttershy squicks out loud at noticing she have called her with that demeanor way as every body seems to call her.
"Don't blame yourself, darling. She isn't the nicest person either. One time I try to talk to her about her style. I wanted to know where she gets those clothes but she didn't even turn to look at me.Could you believe it, how rude of her"
"Yeah but still I feel a little bad for her" Sunset says while she seats down on the table with the other girls. She took a little longer in graving her lunch since she needed to talk to her teacher about her detention. "I also try to talk to her, in fact, I think many people try to but she wasn't very friendly with anyone"
"I told you, she must be a natural jerk. You can't blame anyone for treating her the way they do it" Rainbow replay finish eating the last bite of fruit from her lunch.
"I don't know. For me, she seems sad. I have caught her watching that collar she carries around with a sad frown."
"That dog collar, That is one of the main reason people talk bad about her. ha, whatever Twilight are you done?" Dash asks with her food tray raising up.
"Yep, why?" She says adjusting her glasses.
"Well we have a few minutes, I think we can go to the library and study a little bit."
"Ho sure. We can do it."Twilight responds standing up with her food tray.
"Wait a minute. What are you girls studying" A.J. stop them.
"Calculus"
"Why"
"Hey, Can I come with you'all. I need some help too"
"Hu.. hmm well..."
"Sure, I don't see why not. Rainbow?" Twilight ask all well Rainbow stutters her answer.
"Hum. sure why not. Ough" Dash sight. "See you girls." The three girls walk towers the trash can. Leaving the other four still eating.
It was a cloudy day and something seems to have to alter the birds around. They seem to circle around the school but the only student aware of this must be Raven that was outside alone laying in a nearby a tree. She tries to think of reasons why she decides to go to school today, she has ditch school many times before why even bother. Maybe it was all the time she spends trap in her bedroom the past week but now regrets is the only thing in her mind. Nothing has changed since the last time she visits this school.
"Why am I even here. the world is full of sadness and idiots. And there is nothing that could change that." She said to herself with watery eyes while watching the bone shape plate on her collar.
"What if I told you you can" A feminine voice was hear next to Raven. Raven barely turns her eyes to see a person with a poofy hair standing up next to her.
*Sight* "Go away you pink menace. why don't you get it? I don't want any of your stupid sweets." Many times the pink girl had tried to speak with her but this must be the first time she actually responds to her.
"I am sorry. I think you are mistaking me for someone else." Raven took a closer glance at the person next to her. Indeed it wasn't the bouncy pink girl that seats next to her. Instead of a pink hair, hers was an orange one with Yellow details. She also recognizes the uniform she was wearing. those purple and white clothes were from crystal prep.
Ho great, you did it again Raven, Giving terrible first-time impressions. fan-freakin-tastic "Sorry" Ravan give her an apologetic gesture ready to stand up and leave but the girl reaches up to her graving her shoulder with her hand.
"No please stay. I have something very important to propose to you." The unknown girl reaches up to a perfectly rounded, red crystal attach to a collar around her neck and rises up next to Raven face. Raven feel strangely attracted to the crystal and couldn't help herself but stare at it.
"But ...wha... who are you?" Raven manage to say.
"Not worry your little head about such question. All you need to think is that this world is bad and unfear." the mysterious start saying in a seductive and hypnotic voice. " I can feel you understand this and I can help you change it. Come and accept my help." The strange girl with green glowing eyes says putting Ravan in a hypnotic trance. Raven keeps her sight close to the crystal ball staring at the dark creature reflected inside the ball.
"So tell me, Raven, are you keep letting them call you by names? Are you keep letting them make this world be as unfear as it is?" The strange girl took her crystal close to the dog collar. She touches it with the red ball what makes a crystal formation to surround the plate.
Raven stay still with closed eyes while the other girl took steps back. Skyes getting darker and darker. "C' mon Raven I haven't hear your answer. Would you let them transform this world into a sad world? into the world full of hate and sadness?" She asks with a fiendish smile in her smile as she sees Ravan being surrounded by a dark aura.
"No...NO! .....NO!" From the dog collar, a black crystal formation started to grow larger making a black duel disk with purple sparkles. Shadows start gathering around Raven taking an humanoid form with claws and eyes.The rattle of big birds stars surrounding her as well as the sky becomes darker and darker with lighting from above.
" Nevermore!" a loud scream was heard from her. the strange girl just turns around and start walking away laughing maniacally.
"... Now that you have solved by X you need to find the cos and substituted by the original and solved again. That is how you get the answer. Do you understand?"
"Ow-we, yes. Now I get it. Thanks, Twi." A.J. thanks her friend enthusiastically, taking notes in her notebook while bitting her tung. Even though it was Rainbow who ask for Twilight help, it was Apple Jack who was putting the most attention to her. The multi-colored hair teen where just staring at the two with a boring expression.
"I am sorry Rainbow. It was you who ask first for my help. What do you need me to explain?"
"Ho what? No, no. it was the same ones as Applejack had. I already take notes. Thanks, Twilight. You are of so much help." She says with a forcing smile. A.J. and Twilight share a confused stare.
"OK sugar cube, whatever you say. Thanks, again Twi. That's all the doubts Ah had but better get going. Ah still need to prepare for other two test. See Y'all"
"Anytime" Twilight responded. Apple Jack pack her books and exit leaving the entire library for only the two. "So Rainbow. do you have any more doubts? We still have time."
"No, I think I already got it all" Rainbow took look at her notebook without letting Twilight see it as it was full of fidget scribblings and doodles.
"Oh, ok then. I think that we should go to meet up with the others. They must already..." Twilight grab her things and was about to stand up until a hand grab her arm.
"Wait, Actually I need help with another thing."
"Hum. OK?... sure what else you want to study? Chemistry? Biology? "
"Hum.. not quite." She smiles nervously. Rainbow wait for Twilight to seat back in her seat to speak again. Once she did she look around making sure no one else was around to hear her. "It is a little embarrassing to say but I need help with... hum with... Hum"
"With what?" Twilight asks trying to figuring out why Rainbow was like this. "Ho!, I get it now. Rainbow you don't need to be embarrassed about this. Don't worry any word spoken here will get out. I promise"
"Wow. Twilight. Thanks" She says graving a deck of cards from her backpack.
"Sex education is very important for students at our age after all. You don't want to get a disease or something even worst and just because you were ignorant about it. OK, the first thing you should always keep in mind is..."
Dash quickly slam the table with her hand with her face red as a tomato. "What!!!! No!!! How you even..."
"Well, our next class is Health class and the professor says that we will have a quick test about the next topic which is sex education. I study for it, even though it wasn't really needed, I read several documents and I just thought... "
"Duel monster Twilight. I need help with my deck to play with you and Pinkie. That's it" she says almost angrily slamming once again her hand on the table with a deck of cards she pulls out of her backpack an placing them on the table with face still red.
"Ha, ok. That makes more sense. But what is the secrecy all about"
"Are you crazy? People can see me playing that geek game."
"Didn't you just go to a Daring do book convention last month?"
"Well, yea but..."
"And didn't you even cosplay as her and start discussing with other fans about what book was the best"
"Yea. ok I get it"
"You even start fighting with one fan about it, We have the video and all.I think I stll got it let me..." Twilight picked up her pone browsing through her videos.
"OK! I get it." Rainbow pushes down the phone on Twilights hand slowly. "You don't need to shove the video onto my face again. This is different ok." Twilight put aside her phone away waiting for Rainbow to explain.
*Sight* "I.. I was also a big fan of the original show when I was a kid, just like you. I even spend all my money in packs of cards to get my favorite cards of the show. But when I finally get them all, I was too embarrassed to play with anyone. But then Pinkie comes wanting to show the game and... you know... I... I couldn't help it but get excited about it once again. I just want help building a deck and you seem to know more about it. So could you help me."
"Sure thing Dash. But you know you don't need to act cool all the time. You are cool enough as it is."
"Yea, I know I am awesome." She responded scratching her nose with pride and a little embarrassment. "I just want to play Duel monsters with someone and who knows maybe we can get one of those cool duel disks like Sunset."
"Or Pinkie" Twilight added watching with wide eyes Dash's cards.
"Yea and Pi... What? Pinkie has one too..."
HAAAAAAAAAA A loud scream interrupts both girls from there conversation. They look outside the window from where the screamings where coming from. They watch in horror how a group of big metallic birds was attacking the students outside.
"Girls!"*Slam* Applejack enters the library blocking the door with her body as it was slamming hard like if a beast wanted to enter. "Ahhm... I think we'all have a problem" *Slam* "And a big one" *Slam* *Slam*
*Boom* A big explosion coming from one of the corridors of the school followed by cheerful giggles of a young girl was heard next to a pair of shadowy figures crash at high speed onto the lockers splatting into them like if they were made of black deep purple paint.
"Take that meany shadow... thingies," The pink girls says in between laughter as she trow more sprinklers to make them and makes explode on the creatures faces... if they had one. The ghostly and shadowy creatures seem not affected by this, however. When the monsters exploded, they simply reform all their parts of its and start attacking once again like nothing.
"There is no use... every time we cut these things," Rairy says launching a pentagon shape crystal at them cutting one halfway through. The monster, un-amused, casually grabs the disk with its metallic claws and crushes it in tiny pieces."Haaa!," Rarity scream as that creature tries to grave her.
*Slam* A seat was thrown at the creature at mare centimeters for it to grab rarity.This gives enough time for Sunset to grab her hand and run the other way. "They keep standing up. we kind of get that"
"Thank you, Darling. I owe you one"
"But what are this monsters?" Fluttershy asks as she saw in horror the other students being trapped by them in between its paint-like body or its green cape and disappearing them by transforming into shadows and banishing on the floor.
"Darling, Don't you think they are..."
"Duel monsters? I will not be surprised. Pinkie?" Sunset asks as Rarity struggles trying to protect her friends with a small force field on one side and Fluttershy and Sunset stopping others with chairs on the other.
Pinke comes running at her friend aid lunching her sweet explosives at the monsters allow the group to advance in search of a safe place." I can't tell. Twilight is the one who knows more about this." Pinkie looks with a serious expression at her pockets. She was running out of sprinklers fast.
As the four turn from a corner, the bump and fall down with something else. "Augh, Twi, AJ, Dashy. You are all ok" Pinke says with a smile running and hugging them tightly in a hug.
"Yeah, Ok Pinkie. We are glad to see Y'all too" AJ says patting Pinkie on the head so she realizes them allowing them to breathe normally once again."Girls, duck!!!!" Aj scream. Every one instantly does, all except one animal lover who was searching around for a real bird. Luckily, Sunset notices it and quickly push Flutters head down allowing Applejack to grave with her bare hands a nearby locker and throw it at the monsters who were about to attack their backs banish at least five of them onto spots on the floor.
"Thanks, Sunset" Fluttershy says with a smile.
"Wow, we should really complain to Principal Celestia about this. Lockers shouldn't be removed that easily." Pinkie says looking at the hole in the wall with missing pieces of paint and concrete where the locker used to be. AJ just roll her eyes at this.
"Thanks, Applejack. is everyone all right?" all her friends nodded at Sunset. "Good, now that we are all here, I think the best option right now is to get out of here to a better place"
"I.. don't think that's a good option" Twilight replay.
"Why not?"
"If you think there is a lot of monster inside the school, you need to see the outside. There is a lot of this big birds-robot monsters outside attacking the everyone. We will never get out of here safe." Rainbow responded.
"robot birds? Why I have a strange feeling of déjà vu right now?" Sunset thought. "Ok then, new plan. Find a safer place inside the school to thought a better plan, any ideas?" She says worriedly as she looks at the locker on the floor where the strange monsters where slowly rasing.
"I believe the music room has the safest door from all school, there is some expensive stuff in there after all." Rarity proposed.
"A better idea than any. Girls lets go." Sunset prompt with her hand to follow her into the music room. But as many were ready to fight there way to the music room, one was standing looking the other way.
"Fluttershy, what are you doing? C'mon lets move" Dash says to her friend as she was looking between them and the other end of the corridor.
Fluttershy looks one more time at her friends with a determined expression. "Sorry girls, go ahead without me. I just remember something and I need to go to my locker quickly. It shouldn't take that long."
"What? Are you crazy?!!" Rainbow scream. "What will be that important to you... ho, of course," She slowly slaps her forehead with her hand realizing why she was doing this. "The pigeons Wait up, I coming with you" She was about to run to catch up with Fluttershy but Applejack reach up her shoulder stopping her. "What? AJ, what are you doing?"
Applejack slowly points in the direction she was about to run. All of the sudden, between Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash, there were appearing a new kind of monsters. where the others were intimidating, these ones weren't as much but what they laking at that they had it in numbers. A great number of ghostly and slender ghost and blue floating orbs appear blocking the way.
"Haaaaaa!" Fluttershy screams and runs as a group of those monsters were after her.
"Fluttershy!" Dash exclaim.
"Forget it sugar cube. We need to find another way to meet up with..." But Rainbow didn't listen as she was using her speedster magic power to run gaining momentum and making a big jump like if pole jump was about avoiding the ghost and running towards Fluttershy's direction. "Hum. Ok then. Dash, let us meet at the music room!!!" Aj screams hoping she heard that.
"Applejack, darling could you please give us a hand down here!!!" Rarity says as she was struggling with monsters using her powers as well as Twilight and her telekinetic powers keeping the monsters at bay.
"Ho, sure. sorry." She says nervously as she watches the slender ghost and blue balls slowly closing in. "Hum actually, Ah think it should be better to use Pinkie for this. Ah no longer want to to make more property damage to the school."
"About that" Sunset says scratching the back of her head. "She is gone"
"WHAT?"
"Pinke Pie says that... ough... she was worry about Raven Poe when... she heard that metallic birds where attacking people outside" Twilight replay as she was focusing on pushing the monsters with her power.
"Yea, she kind of jump out the window." Applejack sigh in frustration before she grabs another locker from the walls and toses it into the monster gaining enough time to run. "Ok then, Let's move on"
After so much struggling and running, the four teens reach the big music room. In their way, they weren't able to see many students left in the school and those who they see where already trapped by the shadowy monsters banishing them in between there bodies.
"Do you think we are the only student left in C.H.S.?" Twilight says gasping for air for all the running and magic she has used.
"Probably, from all the students. We are the ones with magic powers" SUnset replay gaining straight to stand upright and try the music room door. "We should be safe in here" All went into the room looking around making sure no monster was there to see them. The room was empty with the exception of several musical instruments. Some of the lights were flickering and some other were completely turned off. Even though it was the middle of the day, it was dark outside because of the thick layer of storm clouds blocking the sun.
"Ho good, at least those hideous monsters haven't touched these room. Those things shouldn't be able to find this place." And as soon as Rarity said that. A strong slam was herd from the main door. Applejack eyes quickly try to cover it with her body meanwhile she gives a judging glare at Rarity. "What did I do?"
"Haven't you heard the say: Never test your luck with a raging horse?" Applejack says still trying to blocking the door.
"I don't think this is the time to point fingers Applejack" Rarity replay to the cowboy girl as she was laying down on the ground like her other three friends. All of them were executed, especially Twilight, she looks like she is about to throw up.
"But look at that, the Rainbooms are fighting among each other. Pathetic." A serious female voice was heard from between one of the corners of the room.
"And look at the princess, she seems like she is about to see her launch once again." Another voice says in between giggles. ass all of the girls turn around to see who was speaking.the two girls wearing cristal prep uniform appear with one holding a steel pipe in her hands menacingly playing with it.
"Aria!!!, Sonata!!! What are you two doing here? And where is the other Dazzling?" Sunset asks angrily rarely being able to stand up. Rarity didn't even try to stand up, Applejack was looking at them with angry on her eyes and Twilight was looking at them in confusion.
The other two girls look back at them with a neutral expression, Well Aria with an annoyed expression but that is neutral for her." Hey! Cowgirl, catch!" Aria says throwing the steel pipe at Applejack. She cath it in midair with one hand and stare in confusion at them. "So?... What are you waiting for? Use that on the door handle and help us move this piano to block the door." Aria replay with a smirk. By this time, all of them were shearing Twilight confusing expression.
