Twilight tells Princesses Celestia and Luna of her adventures in the human world and of Burst. Little do they know, they're about to get their own Burst.
After her adventures in the human world, Princess Twilight informs Celestia and Luna of the events. And of particular note, Burst Stream. While they admire such a hero for his acts, they can't help but imagine a hero like that for their world besides Twilight and her friends. Little do they know, they'll be getting one sooner than they think.
Burst Stream and Inferno Flare are all owned by me.
"Something tells me she'll be just fine.", Twilight answered.
"It sounds like she was quite the menace. Even without magic.", Luna noted.
"She was. But there was one who stood up to her."
"Really? Who?", Celestia asked.
"His name's Burst Stream. He dueled against her when she transformed and defeated her. But even after I beat her, he was one of the first to make amends with her and befriend her again."
"He certainly sounds like quite the...person? Is that right?" Twilight nodded.
"He was essential in helping me during my time at CHS." Celestia's mind mused at such a person existing in their world.
After The Battle of the Bands...
"I didn't expect the sirens to be banished to the human world.", Celestia noted.
"Well, we were able to defeat them.", Twilight said. "Also, Sunset's become a better person over there. Also, Burst and his friends were able to pick up on the sirens' magic. And something tells me the sirens' will have people who can help them see a new way of life."
"This is the second time this 'Burst Stream' has been of great help to you.", Luna added.
"Yeah. I wonder what would happen if we got a hero like him here?", Twilight mused. "I guess that's a thought for another time." Celestia was alone with her thoughts.
A pony stirred as the sun hit his face through a crack in the blinds. Stretching his legs, he got up and lit up his horn and opened the blinds. He then looked to the calendar and smiled. "Today's the day!" The pony opened the window, and spread his dragon wings. He leaped out and went for a short flight before landing back in his home. "Better start the day with the right fuel." He walked downstairs and saw his mom making breakfast. "Mornin' Mom!", he greeted.
"Good morning son. So? Are you excited?" The pony nodded.
"Uh huh! First time I'm leaving home. From what I've heard, Ponyville is a pretty good place to live. And it's the perfect place for my shop!"
"Then is sounds like you've got things worked out.", his father said with a smile. His dad was another dragonic alicorn. "When will you be ready to leave?"
"I've already got my saddlebags packed. I'll be ready to leave after breakfast." Soon enough, the pony finished his breakfast and went to get ready in the bathroom. He brushed his snowy white mane to get it in the style he wanted. "Pefect!" He then put on a vest that concealed his wings. "No idea why I've gotta hide these. But I guess there's some good reason for it." He walked downstairs and readied his saddlebags at either side. "All set!" His dad nodded.
"Before you go, there's something I'd like to give you." His father soon presented a sword modeled after a dragon to his son. "Take this with you. You'll never know when you'll need it."
"Thanks dad."
"Be safe Burst Stream.", His mother, a unicorn said as she hugged him goodbye.
"I will be Mom. I love you two." Burst walked out the door. The sun shone down on his white coat. Nearly eliminating the faint tint of blue of his coat. "Looks like my new adventure starts here!"
"Ohmygosh! Ohmygosh! Ohmygosh!", Rainbow Dash squealed as she flew around the Castle of Friendship.
"What's got her so excited?", Twilight asked.
"You didn't hear? The coolest rockstar in Equestria's coming to Ponyville!", Spike cheered as he pulled up a poster. "Inferno Flare! Check out those sick dragon wing props! His music is awesome! It always gets people fired up!"
"Sounds like someone's a fan.", Twilight said with a smile.
"He is really good at what he does.", Starlight noted.
"Not to mention his excellent fashion sense.", Rarity said as she almost drooled over the outfit Inferno wore. "Oh the STYLE!" Rarity then fainted. Pinkie then took a look at the poster.
"Oh! I saw him today!", Pinkie chirped. Rainbow Dash nearly tackled Pinkie at hearing this!
"WHERE IS HE?!", she screamed. Pinkie laughed.
"I brought him with me!", Pinkie beamed. The group turned to notice a tall black unicorn stallion with a mane that had streaks of red in it. "Hi Inferno!"
"Hey Pinkie. So this is the castle you were talking about.", Inferno said with a smile. "Hi there! Nice to meet you all!" Rainbow Dash sped towards him and came to a screeching halt!
"OHMYGOSHYOU'REREALLYHERE!" Rainbow then pulled out a poster of Inferno. "Sign it! Please!" Inferno let out a chuckle.
"No problem. It's an honor to meet one of the Elements of Harmony. You guys are pretty awesome for taking down all the villains you have.", Inferno answered with a smile. Rainbow Dash squealed with joy.
"HE KNOWS WHO WE ARE!", she hollered. Twilight noticed just how similar he looked to the Inferno Flare she met back at CHS.
"So Mr. Flare? What brings you here to Ponyville?", Twilight asked.
"To be honest, I'm hoping to settle down here. And call me Inferno. I hate when people get so formal with me.", Inferno answered.
"You mean you're quitting being a rockstar?!", Spike asked in shock. "But your music is awesome!" Inferno chuckled.
"I won't lie. It was pretty fun. But, I'm tired of it. Truth be told, I wanna be a Duel Monsters Instructor. I heard that a card shop was going to be setup here, and I was thinking of talking to the owner about it. In the meantime, I'm staying with Pinkie. The floor's strangely comfortable. If you don't mind Pinkie, I'm gonna be heading back to the room." Pinkie nodded as Inferno teleported with his magic to the room he and Pinkie shared. He then took off the jacket he was wearing and stretched his dragon wings. "Man. If people knew that these wings weren't part of a silly costume." Inferno then put the jacket back on, "Well, I guess I'll go see if that card shop's open yet." Inferno found the card shop he was looking for. "The Dragon's Den." Inferno walked in and found the place was lined with Duel Monsters booster packs and rare cards on display. "Hello?" A pony came up to the shop counter. Inferno was shocked that his colors looked like a complete opposite of his. "Excuse me? Do you know where I could find the owner?"
"You're looking at him. Name's Burst Stream. How can I help you?", Burst asked.
"I was looking to apply as a duel instructor. Name's Inferno Flare. I'm pretty good at Duel Monsters. But is there some sort of form I need to fill out?" Burst let out a chuckle.
"No form necessary. When can you start? It's always good to have some extra help on-hand."
"I can start as soon as today. Plus I can also help out with card sorting."
"Well, today's opening day. I could use all the help I could get. We officially open in about an hour." Burst then noticed the gathering crowd outside. "Looks like it's gonna be one heck of a first day. You sure you can handle this?" Inferno cracked a smile.
"Let's just say I know how to handle crowds."
"Then let's get this thing started." Burst put up the open sign, and dozens of ponies came in. As time passed by, booster packs and single cards had flown off the shelves and some people had even signed up for dueling lessons. Soon enough, it was almost closing time. "Didn't expect to sell that many cards on my first day.", Burst said exhausted.
"Yeah.", Inferno said with a weak smile. "Just goes to show you how popular the game is."
"You weren't kidding when you said you were good with crowds. Must come from all that performing.", Burst said with a smile.
"How did you-?!"
"Dude. You made most of the songs I listen to. You didn't think I'd recognize you?" Inferno face-hoofed.
"I should've guessed."
"Anyway, it's quitting time. Wanna hang out? I've got a gaming system back at my house."
"Sure. I need to get my game on after seeing all those cards."
"Then you're in luck. I got the Duel Monsters fighting game."
"Dibs on Red-Eyes!", Inferno cheered.
"I got Blue-Eyes then." The two raced of to Burst's house and played their hearts out. "Y'know Inferno? I think this is the start of an epic friendship." The two hoof-bumped. "See ya tomorrow!"
"See ya Burst!" Inferno teleported back to the room he was sharing with Pinkie. "Not a bad day after all."
Princess Celestia had called a meeting of all the princesses to discuss the changelings' conversion. "I take great comfort in knowing that the changelings' transformation has made them a more friendly species. Especially since Thorax now leads them. Twilight? I'd like to use the Castle of Friendship to hold a welcome ceremony to welcome them to Equestria."
"I'd be honored Celestia!", Twilight answered with a grin.
"Flurry would also like to see Thorax again.", Cadence noted as she nuzzled flurry Heart.
"Then it seems like the matter is settled.", Luna added with a smile. "It shall be held within three days! Have you already sent a message to Thorax?" Twilight nodded.
"Starlight got a reply from him today, and he should be able to make it! This is so exciting!" As the princesses left, a lone guard had been listening in on them. In flash of green fire, the guard transformed.
"So many of my enemies in one place.", Chrysalis mused. "This should prove to be the perfect chance to punish that traitor that took over the hive! Not to mention that disgusting pony that helped in the uprising. One way or another, I'll have my kingdom back. This is going to be perfect...."Chrysalis teleported away to further develop her scheme.
In preparation for the ceremony the princesses had planned, posters for the event were posted all over Equestria! And it came as no surprise that the posters and flyers were seen in Ponyville. Inferno and Burst took notice as they saw a flyer posted on their shop window. "Huh. A ceremony welcoming the converted changelings. Princesses Celestia, Luna, Cadence, and Twilight will be presiding.", Inferno read. "Pretty cool. All four princesses are going to be here."
"Princess Celestia....", Burst thought out loud. Inferno smirked as he noticed Burst think out loud.
"What? You never heard of her?", Inferno asked. Burst shook his head.
"No. I know who she is. This'll probably be my first time seeing her. My father said he knew her. And that she was one of the prettiest mares he'd ever seen."
"Who knows? Maybe you'll catch her eye!", Inferno said with a playful smirk. "I'd say you've got....two days to prepare your pickup line?"
"Knock it off man! We gotta open up our shop!" Burst and Inferno went in and prepared for any and all customers that would enter the shop. The two saw a wide range of customers from children to grown-ups. But they were surprised when the Mane 6 entered the shop. "Hello there. How can I help you?"
"So this is where Inferno works. You own this place?", Twilight asked. She froze when she saw Burst. "Burst Stream?!"
"Um..yes? How do you know my name?", Burst asked.
"Oh! Luck guess!", Twilight said nervously. Burst just shrugged.
"Moving on....are any of you looking for some specific cards?"
"Actually, yes!", Twilight answered. "I'd like to make a Dark Magician deck! But I'm missing a card or two. You wouldn't happen to have a copy of Dark Magic Inheritance would you?"
"We've got a few copies on hand. I'll get it. Be right back..." Burst soon returned with the card held in his magic. "Here you are. That'll be five bits." Twilight handed over the bits and Burst set to work on helping the rest of the Mane 6 out. "So what cards are all of you looking for?"
"Ah could use a copy of Golden Apples.", Applejack said.
"Think you could hook me up with a Terraforming card?", Rainbow Dash asked.
"I'll take a Fragment Fusion card darling.", Rarity said.
"um, I'd like a Kuriboh. If that's alright with you that is.", Fluttershy said with a timid smile.
"So Burst? Do you and Inferno have decks of your own?", Twilight asked. Burst and Inferno nodded. Burst levitated his deck out of its deck box.
"Sure do.", Burst answered. "And this is my favorite card. The Blue-Eyes White Dragon."
"In my case, it'd be Red-Eyes.", Inferno said with a smile. "Is there anything else we can help you with?"
"That'll be all. By the way? Pinkie says she needs both of you at Sugar Cube Corner."
"Well, I guess we'd better not keep her waiting. Let's go!" Burst and Inferno made their way to Sugar Cube Corner and found the lights were off. The moment they went inside, the lights flipped on and Pinkie fired her party cannon!
"Did ya like it?!", Pinkie beamed. Burst was shocked and pleased at the same time! Inferno chuckled at Burst's reaction.
"Yeah. I had the exact same look when she threw me my Welcome to Ponyville Party.", Inferno said with a smile. "Now let's party!"
One awesome party later....
"I won't lie. That was one of the best parties I've ever had.", Burst said as he went to bed that night. "Looks like this town's going to be a pretty sweet place to live." Burst drifted off to sleep in anticipation of the next day.
The next day had come and gone, and the whole town had gathered around the Castle of Friendship to see the princesses arrive. Burst and Inferno were about to join the crowd, but froze when they got a weird feeling. "Hey, Inferno? Did you-?"
"Yeah. I sensed it too. Something's not quite right. I don't know about you, but I'm picking up on some serious trouble."
"I...gotta grab something from my place. I'll meet you at the castle." Burst took off for his house and found the sword his dad gave him. "Well, Dad. It looks like I'm gonna be needing this today." Burst holstered the sword on his back and ventured toward Twilight's castle. He met up with Inferno where the crowd had gathered. "Looks like we're gonna need to find a way inside. Wading through the crowd definitely isn't an option. So..." Burst and Inferno looked at the balcony that served as Twilight's observation platform.
"Going up.", Inferno said as he and Burst cast levitation spells that let them journey to the balcony. Making sure they avoided the guards. "Okay. Now we just need a way in." They didn't have to wait long as Spike opened the window.
"Oh. Hi Burst! Hi Inferno! What brings you here?"
"Just checking up on you guys. But...y'know...the crowd. Used a levitation spell just to get us up here."
"Well, maybe you could've just told Twilight. She'd have let you in." Burst and Inferno face-hoofed. "Well, you're here now. Come on in!" The three of them headed inside. Meanwhile, Twilight was greeting the other princesses and Thorax.
"It's good to see you again Thorax!", Starlight said with a smile. "How's the hive doing?"
"Things are going pretty good.", Thorax said with a smile. "Everyling's getting along with ponies now. And I guess it all comes together here."
"Indeed it does Thorax.", Celestia said with a warm smile. "I'm certain our kingdoms become friends with this first step."
"It is quite joyous that we can put the past behind us.", Luna added. "Especially after Chrysalis tried to invade Canterlot."
"Not to mention when she kidnapped all of us.", Cadence said.
"It's over now Cadence.", Shining Armor said. "She hasn't been seen for a while. I'd say she's long gone."
"Oh, I wouldn't be to sure about that!" Chrysalis dropped her guard disguise and stunned everypony there! "All of you in one place! If I wanted this done right, I should have done it alone!"
"You won't get another chance!" Shining Armor fired a spell at her, but Chrysalis dodged it. "I still owe you for brainwashing me!"
"How adorable. You think you can harm me.", Chrysalis said with a smirk as she shot Shining with an instant cocoon spell! "I've had some time to prepare for this moment." Chrysalis then glared at Thorax. "And I shall relish making you suffer traitor!" Chrysalis fired another cocoon spell! Trapping Thorax! "Who's next?", Chrysalis asked with a savage grin. Twilight fired spell after spell, but Chrysalis used a shield spell to block them all! "Ah. The one who exposed me!" Chrysalis fired a spell that trapped Twilight! "Don't think I forgot about your friends!" Chrysalis fired five more cocoon spells that trapped the rest of the Mane 6! "Well, well." Chrysalis turned her attention to Cadence. "Maybe after I'm done with you, I'll pay your dear little daughter a visit. A child's love tastes so sweet...." Cadence fired a blast of magic at Chrysalis! The blast knocked Chrysalis back, but not enough to harm her! "My turn." Chrysalis charged up her cocoon spell trapping Cadence in a cocoon. "Looks like you've failed once again Celestia."
"Last time you faced her alone!", Luna snapped. "Now you have the both of us to contend with!" Luna fired a powerful beam of magic! Chrysalis frowned and took to the air! Firing spells at Luna that changed into Changeling goo that weighed Luna down and covered her horn!
"You were saying?" Chrysalis prepared to fire a beam of magic right at Luna, but a black blur snatched Luna away as Chrysalis fired! "WHAT?!" Luna was confused until her rescuer spoke.
"Never thought I'd literally sweep a mare off her feet.", Inferno said with a smile before he looked down at Luna who he was carrying bridal style. "You alright princess?" Luna nodded. "Good. Hate for a cute thing like you to get hurt." Chrysalis turned her attention to Celestia.
"Why does this feel so familiar? Didn't I defeat you last time?", Chrysalis asked with a sneer.
"Only because you don't play fair.", Celestia said sternly as she powered up her magic. Chrysalis fired her own blast! Clashing with Celestia's magic! Both beams exploded due to their equal strength! Chrysalis fired off more spells while Celestia put up a shield spell! However, the shield put some strain on her. Chrysalis only increased the intensity of her blasts, and Celestia's shield soon gave in. Chrysalis sneered over the exhausted princess. "Maybe I should get rid of you first. Oh, I can see the faces of all your precious ponies right now when they see you trapped in a cocoon!" Chrysalis prepared to fire a cocoon spell at Celestia until a spell scorched her right wing! "AGH!" Celestia's eyes went wide when she saw the spell that was cast. It was a bolt of light energy. Celestia had only seen ONE pony use that type of combat spell.
'It can't be....', Celestia thought. Everyone heard the sound of hoof steps as a pony walked out of the shadows.
"That was a warning shot.", Burst said as he gazed at Chrysalis. "The next one I'll actually try aiming."
'Aether? No. He looks like him, but he seems younger....'
Chrysalis blinked and then laughed at Burst. "AHAHAHAHAHA! Foolish pony! Do you know who I am? I am Chrysalis! Queen of the Changelings!"
"You mean former. You must have been a lousy ruler if you got replaced.", Burst said with a smirk. Chrysalis twitched as she heard that.
"My children defied me and made that traitor their leader!", Chrysalis pointed at Thorax. "All because of some stupid reason to 'share' love!" Burst scowled as Chrysalis continued. "Those ungrateful worms!"
"How can you call yourself their mother when you weren't even willing to listen to your children?!", Burst spat! Chrysalis scoffed.
"No matter. You shall meet the same fate as the ponies that stand in this room!" Chrysalis fired a spell at Burst, but he dodged and bukced her in the chest! Chrysalis was winded from the powerful kick!
"You were saying?" Chrysalis snarled and charged forward with her horn! Burst unsheathed his sword and locked it with Chrysalis's horn! "That all you've got?" Chrysalis summoned a scimitar made of her magic and swung it wildly. However, she soon had an idea by taking to the air and charging up a powerful blast! 'Looks like I'll have to ditch this thing!', Burst thought as he unzipped his vest as the Chrysalis fired! When the light faded, everypony saw a crater where Burst once stood.
"Hah! It seems as though your would-be rescuer has failed!", Chrysalis said as she landed. Chrysalis was gloating until a blast hit her from above! "Who-?!" Chrysalis staggered to get up and looked in shock at the sight in the air. Everyone else stared in awe. Burst was flapping his dragon wings and staring down Chrysalis.
"Now I can REALLY move!" Burst flew straight at Chrysalis! Knocking her into a wall! Burst backed up as Chrysalis prepared to charge, but was cut off by a blast of flame! Inferno removed his jacket to reveal his own dragon wings! Smoke was trailing from his horn.
"One wrong move, and your fired.", Inferno cautioned. "How about we take her together Burst?" Burst nodded.
"You want to settle this Chrysalis? Come and get us!", Burst shouted as he and Inferno lured Chrysalis away! Chrysalis scowled as she followed them to the edge of Ponyville. She sneered at them .
"Trying to hide the embarrassment for when I defeat you two?", she asked.
"No. Now....I CAN FIGHT WITHOUT HOLDING BACK!", Burst screamed as energy crackled around him! Burst charged at Chrysalis! Knocking the wind out of her! Chrysalis staggered to regain her footing before glaring at Burst.
"You...YOU! WHAT ARE YOU?!"
Burst took a deep breath and closed his eyes. When he opened them again, he unleashed a blast of magic so quick Chrysalis couldn't even react! "My turn!", Inferno cried as he fired a fireball from his horn! Scorching Chrysalis and he body was smoking! "Burst, I'll help get the others out of that goop! Think you can take her?" Burst nodded.
"Give me a couple minutes." Inferno took off for the castle leaving Burst to face Chrysalis. "It's just you and me."
"Soon...it will be only me!", Chrysalis screamed as she fired another blast at Burst! Burst waited until the blast got closer, and slashed it apart with his sword! Chrysalis's jaw dropped in horror, and fired a volley of blasts! And Burst kept deflecting them as the advanced! Burst then charged the blade with magic, and unleashed is in a devastating slash!
"FANG OF THE WHITE DRAGON!" The energy projection materialized as Burst swung the sword down! Chomping on Chrysalis and sending her hurtling to the ground! Burst landed at the edge of the crater her impact made. "Surrender. I don't wanna have to hurt you, but I WILL protect my home. This is your last chance Chrysalis." Chrysalis shakily rose to her feet and glared at Burst.
"Never...Never.....NEVER!", Chrysalis hissed in primal fury as she charged at Burst with her fangs bared! She tried to bite down on Burst's neck, but her fangs broke when they made contact! "AUUUGH! How...how are you beating me?!" Burst took to the air and began to charge up his horn. A small sphere of light energy materialized, but grew larger and larger! Lightning crackled inside the bluish-white orb! The power it radiatied made Chrysalis tremble and freeze in fear. With a mighty shout, Burst unleashed the most powerful spell his dad had taught him!
"WHITE LIGHTNING!" When the attack hit, a massive dome of energy exploded once it made contact! Inferno had just freed the others, and they rushed to see what had happened through the smoke, they saw Chrysalis step out before falling unconscious. Burst then walked out of the smoke unscathed. "I believe that takes care of out insect problem.", he said with a smile. Chrysalis soon sprang to life, and nearly jumped out of her skin when she saw Burst standing behind her. Burst walked up to her until their faces were almost an inch away from each other. "Leave." Chrysalis flew away as fast as her wings could carry her. Burst then looked at Celestia, and was in awe. 'Dad wasn't kidding!' "Your highness.", Burst said with a small bow. Twilight walked up to Celestia.
"Celestia? I thought you told me we were the only alicorns." Celestia sighed.
"Twilight. It appears I have some explaining to do..."
"So Celestia?", Twilight asked. "How can Burst be an alicorn? It doesn't make any sense." Celestia sighed.
"Long ago, there was a knight who served during the rule of Me and Luna. He possessed great magical and physical strength. His name was Aether Stream. However, he had a secret. One I found out when he was badly wounded. I saw his wings. And like Burst, his wing were dragon wings. Aether told me that he had bonded to a noble dragon spirit, and that transformed him into a dragonic alicorn. But all that paled in comparison to the ultimate offensive spell. The White Lightning. A powerful attack that ensures the defeat of your opponent. Usually a single blast is enough to defeat a foe. Today is the first time I ever saw one charged up." Celestia then walked over to Burst. "So the only question is how are you related to Aether?"
"Aether's my dad.", Burst replied. "My name is Burst Stream. Currently, I run the Dragon's Den Card Shop here in Ponyville. I just left my home a few days ago. Dad wasn't kidding when he said you were one of the most beautiful mares he's seen." Celestia lightly blushed at hearing this. Luna in the meantime turned to Inferno.
"I must thank you for your help earlier. But I didn't get your name."
Inferno smiled at her. "Inferno. Inferno Flare. I work with Burst at the card shop. And you must be Princess Luna. I gotta say, you pretty cute."
"Th...thank you!", Luna said with a blush. "No stallion has ever complimented me in such a way."
"I'm not they typical stallion now am I? If you're not too busy after this, how about we spend some time together? I'd love to know you better."
"I....I'd like that.", Luna said with a small smile. Meanwhile, Celestia and Twilight continued talking with Burst.
"So my dad was a knight?", Burst asked. Celestia nodded. "Huh. No wonder he gave me this sword."
"This is incredible!", Twilight nearly squealed. "I've never seen a male alicorn before!"
"It's not that hard if you try picturing yourself gender-swapped.", Burst joked. Twilight's jaw dropped, and Celestia giggled.
"You have your father's humor.", Celestia said with a smile. "You also have his eyes and heart. Whenever someone was in trouble he'd always rush in to save them."
"Heh. Reminds me of a dream I had when I was a colt.", Burst said with a smile.
"Really? What was it?"
"I used to dream of being a superhero. I'd fight bad-guys, come to the rescue, and save the day. I guess today I lived my dream." Celestia was about to answer when Luna pulled her away.
"Excuse me for a moment." Celestia and Luna met in private. "What is it Luna?"
"Well, sister. I've been thinking. After all the years we've been together, we've never had the time to find somepony to love. Burst and Inferno are fellow alicorns. So...I was thinking.....
"You don't need to continue Luna.", Celestia said with a knowing smile. "I know where this is leading. And I can't help but agree with you." Celestia and Luna then looked at Burst and Inferno. "Maybe we don't need to be alone anymore."
At Sugar Cube Corner, Pinkie threw Burst and Inferno beating Chrysalis. As the party went on, Celestia and Luna tried to see if they could Burst and Inferno alone. They were soon presented the perfect chance. "Burst? Could I have a word with you?", Celestia asked. Burst shrugged.
"I don't see why not.", Burst said. Celestia led Burst outside. "Sure is nice out. One of your best I'd say. So what did you want to talk about?"
"Well, Burst, I've lived a long while. The only family I've had is my sister. For the longest time....I've been alone. And I've never found anyone who can truly spend time with me."
"And now I show up.", Burst said with a smile. Celestia was caught off-guard, and then sighed.
"I suppose it was quite obvious. The point is...I want somepony to love who I can spend time with. And...I'd love it if you'd be that somepony." Burst stood up and walked over to Celestia and planted a kiss on her lips!
"Consider that my answer sunshine.", Burst said with a smile. "Come on. We've got a party to get back to!" Meanwhile Inferno was chatting with Luna about the same matter.
"So Inferno? What do you think? Would you...be my royal coltfriend?", Luna asked. Inferno smiled as he wrapped his forelegs around her in a tight hug.
"When I was a rockstar, plenty of mares threw themselves at me. But I wanted a mare who loved me for who I am. Now I've found her." Inferno then kissed Luna! "And I'd be a foal to not see that." Luna beamed as she returned the hug. The Mane 6 and Starlight smiled at the moment while Burst and Celestia walked in.
"I'd say I'm not the only one who's getting the royal treatment.", Burst said with a smile as he looked at Luna holding Inferno close. "So? When are you free?" Celestia smiled.
"I'm sure Luna can link our dreams."
"It's a date." Burst kissed Celestia. "Hope you can survive all the paperwork until tonight." Celestia giggled.
"Oh, enough you! I believe we've got a party to enjoy."
"So....should I walk you home?", Burst asked. Celestia giggled.
"Well it's a long way to Canterlot. But you can at least walk me to my chariot."
Inferno was also walking Luna. "I guess you could say you're the mare of my dreams.", Inferno said jokingly. Luna giggled.
"I more ways than one. I look forward to visiting you tonight" The two shared a kiss. "Until we meet in our dreams Inferno." Burst and Celestia let out a small laugh as they watched the exchange, then looked to each other.
"Good night Celestia.", Burst said as they shared a kiss.
"Good night Burst.", Celestia said with a smile as she and Luna returned to their castle.
"Come on Inferno.", Burst motioned. "I've got an extra bedroom in my house."
"Sweet. I think I'm tired of Pinkie waking me up each morning by pouncing on me."
Meanwhile at Twilight's Castle....
Starlight was checking up on the portal to the human world Twilight had set up in the castle. However, something was off about it. "That's....weird. It looks like its rippling." The portal then surged! "Okay....that's really not good! Twilight!" Starlight ran off to find Twilight and let her know about the disruption in the portal. Unknown to her, the portal on the other side was rippling as well.
