Derpy has an undying love for Time Turner but doesn't have the guts to tell him how she feels. Almost having her heart broken, she is saved by a mysterious girl who may be the key to help Derpy win Time Turner's heart.

Time Turner and Derpy decide to investigate an odd sickness that's going around making their classmates act strange. After their last class, the two meet at their usual place. Though Time Turner isn't behaving like himself. His strange behavior almost causes a broken heart for Derpy but she is saved by a mysterious girl. This girl knows why Time Turner is acting in such a way and has a magical way of stopping him.
When another student is sick the same way Time Turner was, Derpy meets the mystery girl again. After the battle, she learns the mystery girl's secret. This secret may end up being the key in helping Derpy win the heart of Time Turner.
Morning in Canterlot High School. Derpy held her books in her arms as she walked down the hallway passing by her fellow classmates. She stopped in front of a brown door that lead into the abandoned science room. She peeked through the rectangle vertical window. She smiled while her cheeks blushed seeing he was inside.
In the room was a young male student with long messy spiked up brown color hair. His skin color is very light brown while his eyes were light cobalt blue behind glasses. He wore a brown coat over his white long sleeve collar shirt with green tie. His pants were dark blue dress pants held up by a black belt while his shoes were brown boots. This fellow is named Time Turner. Time Turner was leaned over the desk with his left arm bent supporting his head while looking down at the book he was reading.
Derpy knocked on the door catching Time Turner's attention. Time Turner glanced up at the door. "Derpy!", he smiled. Derpy took this as her cue to go in, "Good Morning, Doc. I hope I'm not bothering you."
"Not at all. Actually, I'm excited to share you what I found the other day! A whole book all about my favorite inventor in history! Tick Tock! I have finally found my very own copy!" He said excitedly.
"Amazing! Especially since you said books about him were discontinued a long time ago," she says.
"I know and this isn't even the biography!" He holds up the book facing it to Derpy, "This is the autobiography! He literally wrote and added every bit of himself in this book! There's even sketches of all the inventions he made in his own spare time!"
Derpy smiled. She loves it when her dear friend is enthusiastic. He gets that shine in his eyes while his voice gets high and excited. Time Turner cleared his throat and blushed a bit realizing he's been doing all the talking.
"Oh! You're not sick are you?!" asked Derpy alarmed. "Oh no! Sorry! I was just clearing my throat," Time Turner said feeling more embarrassed. "Sorry, I thought you were getting sick. It seems for the last couple of weeks many of the kids in school have been acting strange lately one after another but it seems they get better fast because the next day they're back to their regular selves," Derpy explained.. "I see. That's some strange sickness going on." "It is! Last week when Octavia Melody was sick she made demands on the music program to only play classical music for the Autumn festival and canceled any other music including DJ Pon3's opening act! The day after that Octavia said that she couldn't remember ever canceling anything. Same thing happened to Scootaloo, Pinkie Pie and Flash Sentry. "
"What did they do?!" "Scootaloo became really competitive at the skate fair last week, Pinkie Pie became really bossy preparing the bake sale three days ago and Flash Sentry boasted on about his band and played out loud afterschool the other day." "So that explains who was making such a ruckus."
Derpy nodded her head, "And they each forgot what they did the day after."
"How strange. Most people would stay home after they are sick. This is some peculiar and a bit interesting type of sickness. Act out of ordinary one day and the next you don't remember at all. I'm a bit interested in this. I'd like to investigate this! Know anyone who is acting out of ordinary today, Derpy?" "No. Not that I know of." "Well it's still morning. We should meet afterschool and discuss any strange happenings if any of us happen to notice something out of the ordinary." "Sure, Doc! But don't you think we should investigate now? You know just in case?" Derpy suggested trying to get more quality time with with her dear friend. "Sorry. Can't. I haven't told Tick Tock about this book after finding it. Sure enough he'd be excited I found his great grandfather's book!" "But doesn't his family already own all of Tick Tock's stuff as family heirlooms?" "Well yeah but I think he'd still be happy to see a copy of his great grandfather's book!" "What ever makes you happy, Doc!"
Other than being a huge fan of a great inventor, Time Turner also happened to be friends with the descendant of Tick Tock. They talked mostly through webcam and rarely met in person. What surprised Time Turner the most when the two first met was that he had the same name as his great grandfather plus a small resemblance to him
After the bell had rung, the two friends said their farewells in the hallway before leaving the opposite direction. When Derpy looked to see that Time Turner was out of sight, she dashed up the stairs. Her first class was up in the third floor at the end of the hallway. It took time to get there especially since the place Time Turner is always hanging out was on the first floor. Derpy knew she could save time from running to class if she went there first when arriving to school but she couldn't help herself. The very first person she wanted to see was him. The bell rang for class to start the second after Derpy sat in her seat.
"Another close one, Derpy!" said Derpy's math teacher, Bluebell. Derpy managed to smile as she tried catching her breath. Bluebell went ahead to start the lesson.
For the rest of the day, Derpy did her best to see if anyone was behaving strangely or something out of the ordinary was happening. During her investigation she found nothing instead she got was scolding from several of her teachers for disrupting the class. The last class ended. Derpy found nothing to discuss with Time Turner. She walked feeling disappointed making her way to the room she was going to meet her friend.
"Derpy!"
Derpy turned around to see who called her. It was Flash Sentry. "I'm glad you hadn't left yet!" says Flash, "You forgot your history book in class. We need it for tonight's homework, remember?" "Oh right! Thanks!" says Derpy. Right then she remembers that Flash was one of the few who got sick. If she can get some information from him then she would have something to share to Time Turner. "Before you go. Can I ask you a couple of questions?" The two talked not realizing something was going on in the abandoned science lab.
Time Turner was kneeled on the floor struggling to get a control of himself. There was something inside him he could feel that was grabbing on to him. He was grabbing hold of the front of his shirt as he could feel whatever it was in his chest. He broked into a cold sweat.
Back outside of the room. "Sorry, Derpy, I really don't know what could've happen to me to get me sick like that," Flash said to Derpy. "It's okay. Thanks anyway," says Derpy. He places his hand on her shoulder, "Don't let it worry you too much. If you do then make sure to talk to the nurse. Maybe she can help." "Will do. Thanks!" says Derpy. "I'll see you tomorrow!" says Flash as he leaves. "Bye," Derpy says back. She sighs turning back to the direction to the abandoned science lab. She looks inside noticing him not around but the lights were on and his laptop and backpack were on the table. She went inside. "Doc, you here?" A ringing sound was heard from the laptop. Derpy shrieked at it in surprise. She looked at the screen of the laptop. It was an incoming video call coming from Tick Tock. She moved the mouse clicking on the green circle labled answer. A video screen appeared of Tick Tock. "Ditzy? Where's Time Turner?" "I don't know. His stuff is here but he's not." "But I am here!" said Time Turner. He stood up from the back of the room placing his glasses back on while using one hand to comb his hair back.
"Doc? What were you doing this whole time?" Derpy asked. "I lost my glasses so I was looking for them," he says walking towards her way. "By the way, Derpy, outside I heard you talking to someone." "I was talking to Flash. I was asking him about how he got sick the other day."
Time Turner stood in front her looking down at her as he was taller than the two.
"Doc, is everything alright?" she asked. He wasn't smiling. Just looking at her with a straight face. Almost glaring. "I wonder. How is it someone like you could have so many friends?" asked Time Turner. "What?! What do you mean?!" Derpy was shocked at his sudden question especially of the way he said it. "Well you have me and yet you have others out there who like being around you." "Yeah?" "Isn't that unfair? For you to have more friends than me?" "But I'm not you're only friend. You have Tick Tock! He's your friend too!" Derpy moved the laptop facing it to Time Turner. Tick Tock was still online watching and overhearing what was being said. "Time Turner, you're acting unusual even for you!" says Tick Tock through the screen. "You don't usually say such things." "No one was even talking to you!" says Time Turner annoyed. He slam closes the laptop. "Doc!?" Derpy was alarmed of her friend's action. "You just hanged up on Tick Tock!" "He was getting on my nerves!" "What's with you?!" Derpy cried. She was getting worried.
"Me?! What's with you!?" he said angrily. "Always coming over like I need you! Coming here and feeling sorry for me!" "But that's not true! That's not why I come here!" she exclaimed. "No? Then what is it?! You couldn't possibly have any other reason why you'd be around me!" She frowned. "Because I like being around you! You're my friend and always been my friend since we were kids!" "Kids, huh? That's a long time. Don't you think?" he questioned. "Maybe we should end this friendship and become less than that! Or better yet. Nothing!"
Derpy shook her head in disbelief and looked down. Her eyes began to well up with tears. 'No way!' She thought. This can't be true. He can't really mean this! He just can't!' She couldn't think of what to say to him. What could she say when what he said really hurt her. Slowly breaking her heart at the idea of just becoming nothing between him and her.
Inside of Time Turner, that was holding his heart, was now beginning to grow. Growing from the feeling of Derpy's heart beginning to break.
"Am I interrupting anything?"
Derpy and Time Turner glanced over at the door.
There standing at the doorway was a girl smiling at the two.
"Sorry for intruding but I'm looking for something important!" the girl standing at the doorway says. Time Turner glares at the girl. The girl walks into the room and closes the door behind her. She looks at Time Turner. "By any chance, could you have anything to do with what I'm looking for?"
Time Turners eyes glow into a dark blue.
"Leave! You got nothing to do here!" He says angrily. She looks at him serious. "I won't leave! Not while this girl's heart looks like it's shattering!" She says referring to Derpy. Time Turner's shadow becomes completely dark and begins to expand. "D-Doc?! What's happening?!" asked a scared Derpy, watching the black figure behind him.
The mystery girl stands in front of Derpy. "Girly, do you care a lot for your friend?" she asked Derpy. "I-I don't know!?" asked a confused and scared Derpy. The dark shadow exploded into hundreds of silhouette snakes. "Girly, whatever he said to you forget about it! I know it may be hard for you right now but you got to remember on why you cared for your friend so much before all of this happened!" "Why?!" "Because of all the things he just said can you truly hate him with all your heart? What is it that really hurts you?"
Her questions repeated in Derpy's mind. 'It did hurt what Time Turner said to me just now but to really hate him?' Thought Derpy. 'Can I really hate him?' The silhouette snakes began to slither on every surface towards Derpy and the mystery girl. "What's happening?!" asks Derpy. "Stay behind me!" says the girl. "What are you going to do?" "Whatever I can do!" says the girl. "And you should too!"
The girl unsheathe some kind of sword like item from the side of her waist. It had a red handle with a long white stick instead of a blade. She pointed it in the direction of Time Turner. Shocked, Derpy pounced at the girl and grabbed hold of her arm. "Don't hurt him! He may be acting bad right now but surely is because he's sick or something!" "I know that! That's why I got to fight him to defeat the monster possessing him!" "Monster?" "That's what I call it but there's different names that my friends back home call that kind of dark power!" "So, Time Turner is sick?" "Well, he's not himself that's for sure! Can you let go of me now? I'd like to attack those shadow snakes before it attacks us!" Derpy let's go of her.
The girl presses a blue button on the handle and holds onto it. The white stick opens up as a triangle. She then swings her weapon fast releasing hundreds of bubbles. Derpy was mesmerized by the sight of the bubbles. The girl releases the button making the triangle back to a stick and swings the weapon again making a gust of wind blowing the bubbles altogether in the room. The bubbles fly hitting the snakes. There were no more bubbles nor snakes after.
When Derpy was mesmerized by the bubbles, a memory came to mind. It was when Derpy was in Elementary school. She was outside standing by the steps of the school entrance blowing bubbles. She was wearing a blue overall dress with a light green t-shirt underneath while wearing light blue knee socks and green boots.She dipped the blue wand inside the red bottle of soap bubbles, took it out and blew some bubbles. She smiled happily at the bubbles that floated up to the sky. "I got it!" shouted a young Time Turner. He was sitting on the steps of the school entrance next to Derpy. He was holding some kind of toy in his hand. "Can I borrow your bubbles, Derpy?" He asked. Derpy nodded her head and gave him her bottle of bubbles. Time Turner took it and added it to his small machine toy. "Now we just turn this crank and..."
Small bubbles all at once began to blow out of it. "Amazing!" says Derpy as she looked at all the tiny bubbles in front of her. "Glad you like it!" says Time Turner as he smiles at her. Derpy smiled back.
Back from memory lane. Derpy looked at the girl in front of her who put back her weapon in it's scabbard. "What's wrong? Not going to make another attack?" The girl asked Time Turner. "Or did you ran out negative energy?"
Time Turner smirked. "No. Just testing things out in this place." In that second, Time Turner fell on his knees and his body starts shaking. "What happened to me?" "Time Turner?" Derpy questions as she hears the distress voice of her friend. Time Turner looks up. "Ditzy?" he says weakly. "Doc!" Derpy cries out happily as she runs up to him. She knelts down facing him. "Thank goodness you're here. I felt like there was something wrong with me inside but now I feel all drained," Time Turner explains. Derpy turns to the girl. "Do you know what he could mean by that?"
Time Turner looks behind her noticing the girl. "You!" Time Turner shouts. "Y-Y-You're that girl from before! The one who told me to be careful outside the cafeteria earlier today at lunch!" "Yup! That was me and so now can you explain to me why you said such awful things to your friend there?" asks the girl. "Awful things?" He questions. "What awful things?" He turns to Derpy.
Derpy looked down sadly. "You said we should be nothing because we've been friends for so long." "What?! No! No! No! I don't remember saying anything like that!" says Time Turner frantically. "So then you were sick?" she asks.
"It's 3:55. Just letting you two know!" says the girl.
"3:55?! How can that be?! Time may go fast but not that fast! Unless...was I found unconscious?!" Time Turner asks. "No!" both the girl and Derpy said at the same time. "If I said such awful things but can't remember and time flew by without me being found unconscious then I guess I was sick!" Time Turner exclaims. "But sick with what?" asked Derpy. "I don't know the answer to that. It seems I couldn't find a answer to our investigation. I'm sorry, Derpy." "It's okay! I didn't find anything either! I'm sorry, too!"
Time Turner chuckled a bit. "Can you get up?" asked Derpy. Time Turner slowly got himself up. "Yeah. Seems I can." He dusted himself off. "So, whose your..." The two turned to the direction of the girl was but found her gone. "...friend?"
The next day. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean what I said yesterday! Honest!" Time Turner said as he was apologizing to Tick Tock through video chat on his laptop. "Ditzy, is he telling the truth that he was just sick the other day?" Tick Tock asked Derpy. "It's true even though it's hard to believe," says Derpy. "If you say it then I'll believe it. This is not the first time where you had to vouch for Doc, Ditzy." Tick Tock says. Time Turner laughed nervously, "Well you know me. The craziest things can only happen to me." "Which is starting to become a fact. Well, sorry to cut our conversation short but I got Homeschool to finish. I'll video chat with you guys the same time as usual. Farewells!" says Tick Tock. "Later, Tick Tock!" The two sang. A beep sound was made and Tick Tock was off the screen.
"So, you ever got in touch with that girl from the other day?" Time Turner asks Derpy while he puts away his laptop in his bag. "No. That was the last time I saw her and you know I don't think I ever seen her in our school before," says Derpy. "Strange. She could have been a new student or a stranger who happened to sneak in to our school." "If she was a new student then we'll probably see her again real soon." "And if she was just a stranger then yesterday would have probably been the last time we saw of her but from what you told me, Derpy, she could've been the only one to know the weird sickness."
"Yeah," Derpy agreed. She remembers about the girl. How she talked to Time Turner when he was sick and fought off those shadow snakes with bubbles.
The bell rings. The two friends say their goodbyes and Derpy hurries to her class. On the first floor, after Derpy makes her way up to the staircase, vice principal Luna walks into the nurse's office. "Are you finding the place alright, Nurse Glow Hearts?" asks vice principal Luna. Sitting in a blue chair behind a brown desk was a young woman with white skin and blue short hair with a red streak. She was wearing a white coat. "I find it nice. Thanks for asking," says the nurse.
"Sorry again about yesterday. When I first saw you I thought you were a kid from outside lurking around in our school. You just seem so young to be the new school nurse," says vice principal Luna. "It's alright. I get that reaction all the time," says Glow Hearts. "I'll be in my office if you need anything or you can just call using the black phone on your desk," Luna tells her. "Of course! Thank you!" Luna nodded her head and exited the school Infirmary. Glow Hearts takes out a phone from her pocket. She dials a number then lets it ring till someone finally picked up.
Glow Hearts was relieved that her teacher answered the call. "How are you so far, Glow Hearts?" "Sir, why a nurse?" asks Glow Hearts. "From what you told me. The people there seem to believe that it's a disease everytime they or a classmate suddenly changes. So a nurse had to be the best option for you to get close to any student who gets infected by the black mist." "Do you know if there's more than one enemy?" "Still searching. Although, what I did find is that the school is the only place the enemy has targeted. No sign of any other life being in contact with the black mist within the area. Search what you can while you're there. There maybe something they're directly after." "Yes, sir!" "I'll be off now. Keep sending messages and fight the best you can against the enemy! Later, Glow Hearts!" "Yeah. Laters." Glow Hearts sighs. She puts her phone back in her pocket, stands up from her chair, walks up to the window and looks outside looking at P.E. class play soccer. "This is a job only I can do," she says to herself.
Time passed. Derpy is in the gym for her P.E. class. While her class plays volleyball, she is sitting in the bleachers waiting for her turn. While she waits, she thinks about the other day. Wondering if the girl was some kind of Ghostbuster. She remembers how the girl said Time Turner was possessed and how she needed to defeat the monster in him. "But what was that tool she had on her?" she asks herself. She remembers how the girl's tool looked like a big bubble wand. "It blew lot's of shiny bubbles but didn't look like it captures ghosts!"
"Derpy! Look out!" yells out Rainbow Dash. Right when she turns to Rainbow Dash, a volleyball hits her on the head then falls back.. The whole class hurries to her side. "Is she alright?" Rainbow Dash asks, sounding nervous. She hopes she didn't hurt Derpy even though she knew the girl occasionally gets into accidents but when it came to sports, Rainbow Dash knew she can be rash which causes truoble for many.
"She seems to be bit out of it," says the coach as she looks at Derpy. "Rainbow Dash, escort her to the school infirmary!"
"Yes, m'am!" says Rainbow Dash. She helps Derpy up and puts her arm around her to help her walk straight.
At the nurse's office. Glow Hearts was reading through a health book. She cringed every time she read the symptoms and saw the pictures. "Nurse!" calls out Dash from the doorway. "My classmate here got hit on the head by a volleyball!" Glow Hearts is surprised to see that the girl hurt is the girl who she saved the other day. "You can set her down on the bed," she instructs. Dash does so. Glow Hearts goes to the small fridge taking out an ice pack. She places it on top of Derpy's head. "How much does your head hurt?" Glow Hearts asks Derpy.
"Not as much as it did a few minutes ago," Derpy answers. She looks at the nurse finding her familiar. At first she believes is the girl from the other day but realizes that this isn't a student but a nurse. She remembers that the girl from the other day was small in height with blue hair and was wearing a black newsboy cap. This nurse was short in height with short blue hair too but with a red streak. 'It could be that I never noticed the red streak,' thought Derpy, due to worrying about the situation at the time. Also the nurse had the right side of her hair styled back with a red diamond heart with white wings hair clip. "You can head back to your class now, Rainbow Dash." Says the nurse. "How'd you know my name?!" Rainbow Dash says shocked. "It says on your P.E. clothes." Rainbow Dash looks down at her clothes. "Oh! Right!" She laughs feeling embarrassed and leaves.
"So," Glow Hearts looks at Derpy's clothes, "Ditzy Doo, how's Time Turner been?" Derpy looks up at the nurse surprised. "You are the girl from the other day?!" "I am!" "But you look more like a student than a nurse." "This white coat doesn't make me look any different?!" "Well I guess it does make you look like a nurse but you still look young enough to be a student." "Awww," says Glow Hearts disappointed. She pouted, "I wanted to look at least look a bit professional."
Derpy removes the ice pack from her head as it was beginning to make her feel cold. "So, you're a nurse. Is that why you helped me and Time Turner the other day?" Glow Hearts smiles, "You can say that!" "What happened to that monster that possessed Time Turner?" "It's gone but not for good, unfortunately. I still need to find it." "It's not going to posses Time Turner again, is it?" "Depends. If it's power grew from him then it probably will but if it finds a different host that can give it more power then it might not." This sent shivers up Derpy's spine. Glow Hearts noticed her look of worry, "But while I'm around I can stop it and so can you, girly." "How can I help?" "Just keep caring for your friend. He'll be fine as long you don't hate him." "As if I can ever hate him," Derpy says smiling while her cheeks turn to a shade of red as she looks down thinking about Time Turner.
Glow Hearts feels something nice and looks in her pocket. Inside was a heart shape bottle with red glowing liquid appearing at the bottom of it. She looks at Derpy, who she notices looks like is on cloud 9. Amazing, Glow Hearts thinks to herself, 'it only takes just thinking about her friend for me to get so much love.' She smiles and thinks how Derpy's love for Time Turner must be an undying one.
"Ditzy Doo!" the nurse calls out her name. Derpy wakes up from her dreamy state of happiness. "Yes?" Derpy asks, feeling embarrassed. "Did you tell anyone about what happened the other day?" "Only Time Turner but that's because he really wanted to know what happened," Derpy says. "You think he'll say anything to anyone else?" "Probably not. He'll probably want to know exactly everything before he can say anything to anyone." "Want to know? What does he want to know?" "Like what was the monster that was inside of him and what you are. He made a list so all his questions are in there." "A list?" "Yeah! He likes to make sure he knows everything when it comes to something that interests him." "What yesterday happened interests him?" "Yeah! Why? Is that weird?" "No! Not all," she says. 'More like troubling,' she says in her mind. "Can you please not tell anyone else about what you saw the other day?" "Sure but why? You're a nurse. Aren't you suppose to let other students be aware of stuff like a weird sickness that can turn you into a monster?" "Yeah but I would like to keep a low profile, because what I do has to be kept a secret. If those monsters find me they will cause a lot of trouble and not just for me."
Derpy could tell she wasn't from around. "Nurse, who are you exactly?" "Sorry but I can't say. For now." "So you'll tell me some day?" says Derpy excitedly. "Some day." "I'm fine with that!" "That's good. Anyways, if you're feeling well you should head back to class." Derpy looks at the clock on the wall. "You're right and class is almost going to be over. If I don't hurry I might end up being stuck wearing my gym clothes throughout lunch!" "Then you better get a move on!" "Will do!" Derpy then dashes out of the school infirmary.
Lunch time. Derpy holds a tray while collecting the different foods the cafeteria is serving. After getting a muffin for desert, her lunch tray was complete. She was happy with her choices. When she turned around to the tables, she sighs. It was always a challenge with her when she had to pass by everyone because there was always a chance that she was going to cause an accident that everyone will be talking about till the day was over. Derpy took in a deep breath and proceeded to walk till she got to the table with her closes friends. She walked fast but not too fast and stopped when someone walked beside her or crossed her path. She was happy when she noticed she was just a few feet away from her friends.
Meanwhile at the table of the fashionistas. "Rarity! I got an emergency!" yelled out a girl coming to the table. She had long purple hair with yellow glasses on her head. "What could be the matter?" Rarity asks. "This!" The girl holds out a lipstick. "Lipstick?" Rarity questions. "The color!" The girl shows her other hand with a mark color of the lipstick. "And look at what I'm wearing!" She steps a few feet back showing a complete full body view of herself. Rarity and the other kids at the fashionistas table all gasp. "They don't go well at all!" Rarity exclaims. "Exactly! Can you please help? I got an oral report in my next class!" The girl begs. "Don't worry, darling. I got a great color of lipstick that will look great on you!" Rarity gets her backpack and takes out a make up bag. She takes out a few lipsticks and stands them on the table as she looks for the one. "Found it!" she says happily. "Here you go!" The other girl reaches for it but accidentally bumps a water bottle with her elbow water bottle that falls and knocks over the lipsticks. "Oh no!" Both girls yell out it in shock. "Hurry pick them up before I lose any of them!" says Rarity to the group. Everyone at the table carefully looked around the floor for them while carefully trying to dirty themselves. They were in the cafeteria after all. After finding a few, Rarity counted them. "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8....plus the one I just lend...I'm still missing one more!" Rarity tells the group. They all check around the table once more.
Derpy was happy to see her friends just feet away at their regular table. A small silver cylinder rolls to the front of her feet. Not noticing it, she steps on it causing her to lose her balance. She falls back landing on her butt while the food on her tray flies over her head. In a second, someone screams behind her. Derpy hears everyone gasp and go silent. Then everyone begins to whisper an infamous girl's name over and over. That girl being Sunset Shimmer.
Derpy sat frozen on the floor hearing the constant whispers of a infamous name, Sunset Shimmer! She held her tray and as she shakes in fear, she looked up. Sunset Shimmer was right there staring down at her angrily with mixed up stains of food from her hair to her skirt. All that was missing was the muffin! Derpy placed the tray over her head as a shield. Snips and Snails suddenly appear from behind Sunset and pull Derpy up to her feet. They spin her and push her in front of Sunset Shimmer.
"Why am not surprise that is Derpy!" Sunset Shimmer said all sour. "Sorry. It was an accident," Derpy says while still holding the tray as a shield. Sunset Shimmer looks at her annoyed. She hits the tray making it fall out of Derpy's hand. Derpy lets out a squeak. "What am I going to do with you? Always causing a mess wherever you go!" Derpy bites her lips. She could now feel all eyes were on her but no one around to save her especially not if it was dealing with Sunset Shimmer. "I wonder! What kind of punishment does a klutz like you deserve for ruining my clothes!" Derpy could feel her legs shake while her heart beats fast in fear.
At the nurses office. The nurse was eating an apple while she watched a video on her phone. She stops chewing when she feels something odd. She takes out her glass heart and notices the liquid inside was bubbling. "Ditzy Doo!" she says alarmed. She gets up from her seat and leaves the office. She hurries over to where she knows where she might be. She stops when she notices a couple of kids standing around looking into the cafeteria. "So something is going on?" She whispers out loud. The kids shriek and move aside. The doors burst open with Sunset Shimmer laughing as she was followed by Snips and Snails who were laughing alongside with her. The three stopped as they were surprised to see Glow Hearts staring at them. Sunset raised a brow in question, "And you are?" "I'm the nurse. Nurse Glow Hearts. Did something happened?" Sunset Glimmer looked surprise as did for Snips and Snails right behind her. "Actually I accidentally bumped into someone and our lunches fell on each other. As you can see," Sunset lied referring to the food on her. "But! I don't think the other girl took it well. She's back at the cafeteria right now if you like to check on her." "I will but first, are you okay?" Glow Hearts asks. "I'm fine! Thanks for asking!" says Sunset Shimmer. "I better go now. I got to wash up!"
As Sunset Shimmer was leaving, Glow Hearts could read her heart. "She may end up just being the cause of some of this schools problems while the enemy is here," she says then goes on her way to the cafeteria. There she finds Derpy crying on the floor with food on her but surrounded by other girls. The girls were cleaning the food off her. The nurse read each of the girls hearts. "They're friends," she says with a smile. "I guess I'm not needed."
On the roof of the school. A young man was sitting there as he was feeling all the negative feelings he was getting from his creatures that were wandering around the school. Though he was going to need someone to get a huge amount of negativity to be able to get his monsters and power to grow. All he needed was a new being that could collect it for him but with his enemy in the school that was going to be hard. He needed to find a vessel and he needed one quick! A dark mist from his creature appeared in front him. "News? It better be good!" He says. He touched the mist reading the message. "There's a yellow and red hair girl that can cause mayhem to her peers? Interesting! Since you found her she could be your vessel! Now, go!" He says then the mist disappeared.
At a table in the cafeteria. "You okay, Derpy?" Sweetie Drops asks. "Sorry we couldn't be there for you but you know?" She says sadly. "I understand and I'm okay" says Derpy. Her friends felt bad for her. "I got an idea!" says Vinyl Scratch. "Let's lighten the mood with some karaoke afterschool at my place!" "Great idea!" says Octavia Melody. "What do you think, Derpy?" asks Lyra Heartstring. "I'd love to but I got to do something first," says Derpy. All five friends smiled. "Right too busy seeing a certain tinker?" says Lyra in a teasing voice. Derpy's face shaded red. "N-No! I just need help with a lesson in my homework!" "Since we're meeting afterschool we can help you!" says Sweetie Drops. "Yes but-" Derpy was left not sure what to say next.
"How about we let you see Time Turner for half an hour and after you'll come with us to Vinyl's place," says Sweetie Drops as she gives her a wink. Derpy's blushing doesn't fade. She nods her head yes.
In the nurse office. Glow Hearts smiles as she looks at the red liquid grow in her jar. "You have such nice friends, Derpy. Kindhearted ones especially."
In the girl's locker room, Sunset Shimmer was sitting on a bench wearing her p.e. clothes while a towel was wrapped around her hair. She had just finished taking a shower to get rid of the food from her hair. Now she was waiting for Rarity to come. She sent Snips and Snails over to get her so she wouldn't have to be wearing dirty clothes. "Sunset Shimmer?" Rarity walked in nervously. "About time!" "Yes," Rarity wheeled in a whole rack of clothes. "Brought many to choose from!" Sunset Shimmer looked through the clothing. After searching she finally found one. "At least this one is decent enough!" She took out a light blue blouse. "That will be all!" she says making Rarity leave.
Few minutes later, Sunset Shimmer came out of the locker room changed into her new outfit. "There, I feel better now." She strolled back into the hallways feeling satisfied. There was a black mist lurking behind her. Sunset stopped looking displeased at the mist. "Whatever you are, quit following me!" she says angrily. "My, my. Didn't expect anyone else to be able to see my monster. So who may you be?" said the voice coming from the mist. "Sunset Shimmer. If you're from Equestria trying to drag me back so I can be punished then you got to try something better than that!" "No, no! I'm from a different world! Trying to find someone who I can use for my monsters. One who can cause negativity on others. Negative energy is all I need to gain power." "Monster and Power?" Sunset was interested. "If I were to let you use me then can I have total control?" "As long as you're aware of this power, you can." "Any warning?" "Yes. I have an enemy lurking around the school. She can destroy that power I give you so be careful!" "How does your enemy look like? I have knowledge of everyone in the school." "I wouldn't know. She has the ability to change appearance every time she comes to a new world." "Bummer! So how are you going to give me this power?" "Easy as 1,2,3!" The mist goes inside of Sunset Shimmer.
Sunset Shimmer could feel an electric feeling inside of her for a second. After the feeling stops. Smoke leaves from the palm of her hands. She smiles feeling control of the amount of power. "Compare to Equestrian magic, this feels a bit weak." "It's all I have for this creature. Each of my creatures collect separate amount of energy but if you can cause problems like you already do to the students in this school then you can gain more power that way." Sunset Shimmer smiles, "That's so easy!"
After school, Derpy was in the science lab. "Forgive me, Derpy but I'll be having to leave early today. I got to get home early. My father messaged me that some relatives had arrived!" says Time Turner. "It's alright! I got to meet with some friends anyways. They're planning to cheer me up by singing karaoke at one of their homes." "That's nice but what do you need cheering up if you don't mind me asking?" Derpy looked down looking sad, "Sunset Shimmer. I accidentally fell and by accident my food fell on her. So as punishment she threw food all over me." "Food? On you? No way! But you look so nicely dressed right now!" He compliments. Derpy face blushes.
Before lunch was over, Rarity was nice enough to give her a dress she could wear after witnessing what Sunset did to her in the cafeteria. While the nurse let her change in the school infirmary and her friends helped her clean the food off her hair. Derpy felt grateful for the many friends she had at school to help her.
"Does it really look good on me?" she smiled at Time Turner. "But of course! You look lovely!" He says with a smile. Derpy turned red. She could feel her face feel hot while her heart was beating fast. "Time Turner, can I tell you something?" "Sure! What is it?" "I.." She looks at him loving that smile she had always loved. "I l-l-lo-..."
Ring! Ring!
"Sorry, Derpy. That must be one of my parents." He says and answers his phone. "Yes?.....I'm still at school but about to leave.....I know! Just chatting with a friend before I go..... Why?.....A girl but why is that....." Time Turner face blushed. "She's not that kind of friend! Her name is Ditzy Doo! Happy? I'll see you when I get home!" He hangs up his phone. He looks over at Derpy, "Sorry about that. You were saying?"
Derpy had lost all courage after the ring tone ruined the moment. "Oh! It was nothing important!" "Okay. Shall we get going?" He asks. "Yeah. Let's go!" The two gathered their things and left the classroom together. They stopped by Time Turner's locker so he could get more of his books. Derpy noticed students crying as they left the music room. She overheard a few as they passed by her saying how their instruments were found broken. She gasped as she remembered two of her friends were sometimes in the music room. She looked around and found her group of her friends sitting on the stairs comforting the two music lovers.
"Doc, please go on without me. I just found my friends still here." She says. "Alright. I'll see you tomorrow!" "Laters, Doc!"
She walks over to her friends. "Vinyl. Octavia. Are you two alright?" Vinyl wasn't crying but did look upset while Octavia was crying. "Yeah. My older brother already saw the damages. He left to pick up his friend from a music store to see if he can fix it," says Vinyl. "Good for you! That cello was my thirteenth birthday present!" Octavia sobbed.
Derpy felt bad for friends. She wondered who could've done such a horrible thing. Up on the stairs she notices Sunset Shimmer smiling. She walks up to the rest of the stairs. Derpy looks mad. "I know who did it!" She says and begins to run up the stairs. To their friends surprise they follow right behind her.
Derpy stops at the top of the stairs. Sunset Shimmer was standing against the wall. "Not afraid of me anymore, Derpy?"
When the girls caught up to Derpy, they gasped when they saw Sunset.
"Sunset, from the last two hours I gave you this power did you learn how to use it?" said the voice inside Sunset. "Not really." "Concentrate on the energy and with it you can read the negative feelings they each have." "Alright." "I'm sure you can use that for your advantage."
Sunset Shimmer used the power she had. She looked into each of the girl reading every negative feeling they had inside. Sunset smiled sinisterly of all the information she now gained to increase her power.
"So? What does the Loser five want?" Sunset asks them.
"I know you're the one who sabotaged the music equipment!" Derpy exclaims. Her friends pull her back and try to shush her, obviously scared of Sunset.
"You got any proof?"
"No but out of anyone in the school you're the only one who could do such a thing!"
"How brave of you!" Saying it in a fake astonish tone. "So what are you going to do about it? I don't think you and your friends can do much."
"We can and we will!"
Her friends try shushing her again.
"What can you do with a friend who has a real problem in getting to others peoples business or the one who has a real problem trusting anyone to be friends with her brother?" Says Sunset.
Octavia and Vinyl were shocked. They were scared how Sunset knew that about them.
Sunset Shimmer was going to say more but all of sudden a weird stab pain hit her. A chunk of her power decreased and a weird shock pain filled her body. "What's happening to me?!" she cried out.
"The enemy is here!" Yelled out the mist inside her.
"Where?!"
"Look around you!"
"Anyone find it weird that Sunset is talking to herself?" Lyra whispered to her friends. All her friends nodded in agreement.
Down the hallway was a figure with wings. Sunset saw her. Before she could do anything, the figure held out a bow and arrow. She shot the arrow hitting Sunset Shimmer. Sunset felt the same stab feeling and a decrease of her power like before. Then the shock pain filling up her body. She felt weak, then fell to the floor.
Concerned, Derpy went towards Sunset. Wanting to give her a hand. Sunset angrily shoved her away.
Outside on the roof, the young man was feeling. "At this rate, Sunset is going to waste all the new energy she collected. Going to have to let her go."
Sunset felt something grab hold of her inner body. Her eye color turned dark. She looked over at the mysterious figure. "Enjoy the good luck you have for now!" said the mist through Sunset. The mist disappeared from her body. Sunset collapsed on the floor leaving her unconscious.
Derpy looked over at her friends, "Help me take her to the infirmary." The four girls looked at each other concerned. "I know you girls don't want to do it for her but at least do it for me." The girls helped Derpy carry her. Before going downstairs, Derpy looked down the hall. The mystery figure from before was gone.
"The nurse isn't here!" says Sweetie Drops looking in the infirmary. The girls place Sunset on one of the beds. "Should we just leave her here?" asks Lyra to her friends. Her friends weren't sure.
"I wonder what came over Sunset," says Octavia. "We know she's bad but the things she said were scary."
"There has been an epidemic going in the school," says Derpy. "Students change all of a sudden but then the next day they're back to their regular selves."
"So the sickness only turned Sunset Shimmer only more evil?" says Vinyl.
"That's probably it," says the nurse coming in. "Sorry I'm late. I'll check on her as soon as she wakes up!"
"We found her unconscious on the second floor and carried her here!" Derpy exclaims.
Glow Hearts smiles. "That's real nice of you girls! Thank you! I'll give you each a treat!" She picks out a few candies from a bowl that was sitting on her table. She hands one to each of them.
"Thanks Nurse..." Lyra tried to read the ID badge the nurse had on her coat.
"Glow Hearts! Nurse Glow Hearts!" she says.
"Thank you, Nurse Glow Hearts!" Lyra tried again.
"So do you know if Sunset will be alright?" Sweetie Drops asks.
"I'll do a check up right now to see!" Say the nurse.
"Since you're busy," Octavia begins to say. "We can leave?"
Glow Hearts smiles, "You may."
"It was nice meeting you Nurse Hearts," says Vinyl. "And thanks for the treats!" Each girl began to leave to the door except Derpy. "You girls go ahead. I'll catch up. I got to talk to the nurse about something private."
"We'll wait for you outside of the school!" says Lyra.
"Thanks!"
After the girls left, Derpy closed the doors. She looks over at the nurse. "Was that mystery figure from earlier you?"
"It was. Good eye, Derpy!" The nurse says while walking towards the curtains that was held from the ceiling. They were just like the curtains in hospitals that gave privacy between patients.
"Why did you hurt Sunset?" asked Derpy worried.
"Just like your friend Time Turner, she had a monster inside of her but this one was different. She was aware of it and took control gaining power as she held on to it."
Afraid, "People can control those things?"
"Yes but that's usually rare. My enemy must've found her special or something."
"So what will you do now? Are you going to use your weapon on her?"
"No need. The mist is gone from her but I do have to heal her. My attacks and the monster left some damages in her."
Glow Hearts moved the curtains completely around her. She walked up to Sunset Shimmer, placed her hands in the air over her. Red sparkle dust appeared on her hands. In the air, she moved her hands to Sunset's feet to the head as the dust sparkled around Sunset Shimmer's body.
Derpy was astonished as she watched. After the third time, Glow Hearts stopped. The dust slowly disappeared. "What was that?" Derpy asked once the Nurse had put her hands in her coat pocket. "That was my power. It takes away the pain, the feeling of the monster that was inside of her and few of her memories."
"Why her memories?"
"It's a rule from where I come from but the enemy doesn't care if they're seen so they don't bother erasing anyone's memories. They rather leave their victims puzzled and scared."
"That's awful!"
"It is!"
Sunset Shimmer groaned, alarming the two girls. "Quickly hide in the restroom," Glow Hearts whispers to Derpy. On her feet, Derpy leaves the nurse's side. Sunset Shimmer groans again as she slowly wakes up.
"What happened?" Sunset asks.
"You were found unconscious on the second floor. A few girls found you and took you here. You've were asleep for about two hours."
"Two hours? I don't remember being the second floor?!"
"You must've caught the strange epidemic that's been going around the school. Do you feel any different?"
"No. I feel the same like always."
"Then it must've not hit you strong enough. You must have strong will power for you nay to get sick like the others!"
"So? Does this mean I can go?"
"Yeah. You're free!"
Sunset Shimmer got up and left the infirmary.
Derpy came out of the restroom. "Wow! She didn't remember at all!"
"Yup! My power works!" Glow Hearts says happily.
"So what are you?"
"Cupid!"
"Cupid?"
"Yes!"
"But isn't Cupid usually a baby angel or small person with wings that flies from the heavens with a bow and arrows making people fall in love?"
"Yeah we're different from what people imagine us to be. We do work with love and do so much more!" says Glow Hearts.
"There's more of you? Not just one?" Derpy says surprised.
"Yes. I'm not the only one. Anymore questions?"
"Can you really make people fall in love and are you going to erase my memory?"
"Yes but it's a long process and probably not. I like you, Derpy. I can trust you to keep my secret!"
Derpy was going to ask another question but Sweetie Drops appears at the doorway. "Derpy, Vinyl's brother came to give us a ride to her place!"
"You better go, Derpy!" says Glow Hearts. "If you have anymore questions for me you can come see tomorrow."
Derpy nods her head and leaves with Sweetie Drops.
On the ride to Vinyl's home, Derpy wondered about her friends. Could they also remember what happened before?
The rest of the day, Derpy was having fun with her friends as they each sang karaoke in Vinyl's room.
In Canterlot High, Derpy went to see the nurse during lunch. "Nurse Glow Hearts?" She asked when she went in the infirmary. Glow Hearts was sitting behind her desk looking through a file folder while on the phone. Derpy waited a while till the nurse hanged up. After hanging up her phone, "Derpy, please the close door." Derpy did so.
"Since yesterday, you told anyone that I was Cupid?" she asked.
Derpy shook her head, "No."
"Good! Well I guess for starters I can explain a few things about myself. First, I'm not exactly from around here."
"Where are you from?" Derpy asked curious.
"A different world. Similar like here with people, stores and schools but with my kind having to be incognito all the time so our enemy won't know our location or weakness. Well that aside, I'm here to save this world from our enemies. They always find an entrance to get into these other worlds. So when they do, I have to be the one to defeat them and bring them back to my own world."
"What do they want exactly?" Derpy asks.
"Power. Negative power. If my enemy can gather enough energy for himself from this world, he'll take it back home to my world to use to fight against the other cupids and since the energy is from a different world then it will be hard for my comrades to defeat. Which is why I have to stop him here from getting close to that goal!"
Derpy was left baffled.
"Sorry. Was this too much information, Derpy?" Glow Hearts asks.
"Not it's just this all just so new to me," Derpy says with a smile. "So, Is there anyway I can be more of any help?"
"You can! You can help like the way you did the other day when you helped stand up for your friends. Real brave of you! I told my Master about you so he can consider you as part of an ally!"
"Me? An ally to cupids?" Said Derpy gazed.
"Yeah. He should give me an answer by today, so hold on for now okay?"
Derpy nodded her head but then stopped to think. "Glow Hearts, why do you trust me so much?"
"Because your heart says I can!"
"It does?"
"Yes!"
Derpy smiles, happy to hear that. No one's ever said to her anything like that about herself.
"I also know you got a huge a crush for Time Turner and you have liked him for years!"
Derpy blushes madly, "Well that is...please don't tell him!"
"Don't worry I won't but you know as a cupid, I can help you with this crush of yours!"
"Y-You can?"
"Yes! Love is my name and helping those in love is my game! Ask me whatever you like and I'll help you get close to him."
"If you can read hearts then can you tell if he feels the same way for me?"
"That I can not do. It's kind of a law. The reason why is because many would lose hope if they were to learn the person they love doesn't feel the same way or has those feelings for someone else. And that's just not how it works. What we can do is help you bring you close enough to your love interest and see if you're both are compatible no matter the obstacles."
"And if Time Turner and I are not?" Derpy asks.
"Is that a chance you'd be willing to take?"
Derpy thought about it. She would like to know. If she learned what the results were in the end for the two then she would know whether to give up on Time Turner or not but, no matter what the answer is in the end, she would still like to be close by his side even if the two were not compatible at all.
Glow Hearts felt red liquid appear in her glass. This girl really has a big heart!
"Glow Hearts, will you please help me bring me close to Time Turner?" Derpy asks confident in what she wanted from the cupid.
"Of course, my friend!"
During lunchtime, Derpy sat with her friends at their table. She noticed that not one of them was mentioning yesterdays incident. Probably because no one wanted to talk about the fact that it was Sunset Shimmer they helped out.
"How long will it take to get your music equipment fixed, Vinyl?" Lyra asks.
Vinyl wasn't listening, instead she was twisting her spaghetti on her for fork over and over as she had something in mind.
"Vinyl!" Lyra called out. This woke up the young dj.
"Yeah?" She answers.
"I was asking how long will your music equipment will it take to get fixed?"
"Probably in two weeks."
"That long? Bummer. I had planned for all of us to play together and have a small concert so we can collect money to buy Octavia a new cello!"
This shocked Octavia. " A fundraiser for me? There's no need to go so far!"
"But a cello must cost a lot to fix! And buying a new one must cost even more!" Says Bon Bon.
"Yeah. Is why we thought of a fundraiser so we can help pay for your cello!" says Lyra happily.
"You girls don't need to do that! I still have my old cello from back when I just started. It's a bit a worn out but as long it still plays it'll work!" Says Octavia.
"Are you sure? We don't mind helping!"
"Yes. It's fine. Thank you all though!" Says Octavia. "Don't mean to change the subject but yesterdays karaoke was thrilling!"
"It was so much fun! I wouldn't mind going again!" Lyra says excitdly
"Right! Vinyl, you should bring you brother more often to karaoke," Bon Bon says. "He's such a great singer!"
"He's was incredible!" Octavia squeals. All the girls at the table began all talking about it but Vinyl wasn't so happy about it. She suddenly stood up grabbing her tray, "I don't feel hungry anymore. I'm leaving."
The girls at the table looked worriedly at their friend. "Did we say something wrong?" asks Bon Bon.
In the girls restroom, Vinyl looked at herself in the mirror. "Why do I got to be this way every time girls like my brother?!"
Outside of the school roof, a young man sat there smiling as he looked at the clouds in the sky. "What luck! She was one of the girls yesterday scared of Sunset Shimmer and what more is she's also friends with Derpy. This time I'll try a new charm that will guarantee me more power over these students of this school and I'll start with this girl Vinyl."
"Derpy, your here! Almost thought you were absent when you didn't show up this morning," Says Time Turner. He was behind one of the lab tables packing his things in a messenger bag.
"You're leaving home already?" Derpy says feeling disappointed.
"Actually I'm going to go around the school in search of whatever new epidemic is out in our school!"
"New epidemic?"
"Yes. You've not noticed how many been acting real strange this time?"
Derpy shook her head no. Time Turner tells, "Well I began noticing when my Chemistry teacher came into class after lunch. She went nonstop about her friend who became a brilliant scientist but she didn't sound so proud of him. Second, my science group for some reason didn't sound so happy that I successfully figured out the answers to our lesson project. They usually ask me for help so they could figure out on their own. Lastly, that one guitar player named Flash gave me a note saying why don't I spend my time getting a social life other than using Derpy all the time for research projects."
"That all really happened?!" Derpy was in disbelief.
"It surprised me too. So like to join me this after school?"
"I would love too!"
"Let's move!" Time Turner says eagerly.
Walking through the halls, now and then they stop every time students pass them so Time Turner could ask if they've seen anyone acting out of the ordinary. When they passed by the nurse's office, Derpy thought if this is something she should tell the nurse. "Time Turner, can you give me a minute? I got to check over the nurse for something quick."
"Okay. I'll wait for you then," He smiled.
"Thanks," Derpy blushed over his smile that always made her heart skip. She ran over to the nurse office, "Nurse Glow Hearts!" Inside she found the place empty. Did she already figure it out first, she thought. She walked back to Time Turner, "She seems to be out at the moment."
"Would you like to continue our task?" Time Turner asks her. Derpy nodded her head. Continuing their task, they walked upstairs in the second floor. They jumped when their heard screams. Before they can get to the top of the stairs, students in fear ran coming down from there. One of them yelled, "Runaway!"
Time Turner and Derpy carefully walked upstairs wondering what was going on. Slowly making their way they didn't find a thing. Derpy wondered if whatever it what was disappeared. She was wrong as soon as she heard a loud smash. "Time Turner, I think we should go. Whatever it is must be dangerous! We should go and find someone for help!" Derpy frantically suggests.
"You go. I'll stay as a witness!" Time Turner suggests.
"No! It's probably real dangerous!" She says grabbing his arm.
All of sudden, coming flying around the corner appeared Glow Hearts with wings flying rapidly. Something else came behind her. With it's sound waves coming from it's hands, targets the cupid. She falls on the ground with a loud thud.
Derpy gasps. She runs over to the nurse. As she looks at her, she notices the red masquerade mask. Must be an addition to her disguise, thought Derpy. "Gl- I mean, Cupid, are you alright?" Derpy asks.
"I'm fine," Glow Hearts gasps. She sits up staring at the black mist looking creature that was beginning to take shape that Derpy found very familiar. "Vinyl?!" she exclaims.
Time Turner had run over to the two, "Any idea why it is taking form of a familiar friend?"
"That because it is her! The enemy must've got to her and now is taking control of her strongest negative emotion!" Glow Hearts shares. "It must been real strong. I'm having a real hard time targeting her heart."
"Aim her heart?" Time Turner exclaims. "Won't that dangerously hurt her?!"
"From my arrows it won't but she's not really giving me chance with those sound waves of hers."
"Sound waves?" Time Turner looks over at the silhouette figure of Vinyl placing her hands directly at them. She let's out another of her sound wave power hitting the three. The three all fly then fall to the floor while closing their ears from the loud sound making their ears ring.
Glow Hearts comes up with a charm using the liquid in her heart flask, she makes a red glass wall appear before them separating them and dark Vinyl. Vinyl tried another of her sound waves but the red wall didn't shatter. "It worked!" Time Turner says astonished.
"For now," Says Glow Hearts. "I'm getting weak. This wall won't hold up long. We got to run!" The three stood up and ran downstairs. "Do you two know a place we can trap sound waves in this school?"
"The music room!" Time Turner eagerly says. "The room is sound proof."
"Perfect!" Glow Hearts grabs the two by the back collar of their shirts, spreads her wings and flies fast to the music room.
"That was exhilarating!" Time Turner shouted excited. Derpy giggled, she found his enthusiasm cute. Glow Hearts smiles as she felt her flask fill up. These two are real something, she thought. "Now to trap her in. You two hide in another room."
"You're going to fight her on your own?!" Derpy asks worried.
"Well all I can do is trap her for now. It will give me time to stop her." A loud crash sound was heard from the second floor. "Hide! Now!" Derpy and Time Turner quickly went to the room they were closest to.
Glow Hearts goes into the music room. Dark Vinyl comes downstairs, finding the music room open, she goes in. Glow Hearts quickly flies out through the second door. She makes a charm that closes every entrance in the music room close shut with a red lock. "No way in, no way out!" She says.
"Oh good! You trapped her! What's next?" Time Turner asks peeking from behind the door.
"Sorry. He was really curious," Derpy confesses.
"It's okay, Ditzy. Now I got her in place." Glow Hearts necklace glowed making a bright pink bow and arrow appear in her hands. Directly pointing at Vinyl's heart, her eyes glow bright red while her white wings spread out. She aimed and let go. The arrow flew through the door into the room right at Vinyl's heart.
Dark Vinyl froze, falling on her knees. The black mist shrinks and poofs, disappearing from her heart. "What happened?" Vinyl says removing her shades to rub her eyes.
Glow Hearts necklace glows again transforming back into as her nurse identity.
Inside the nurse's office.
"Glow Hearts, don't you need to make Vinyl forget all this?" Derpy asks.
"No. My arrow took care of everything including her memories. So now she should be at ease now that heart is in the right place," Glow Hearts answered. "Now," Glow Hearts takes out a piece of candy from her pocket. She looks over at Time Turner, "What to do with you?"
Time Turner looks at her nervous, "Me? I can keep a secret! Right, Derpy?" He turns to her. Derpy nods, "Yes he can!"
"Actually, I still haven't got news from my Master if I'm allowed to keep Derpy know this secret. So till then you have to keep my secret as well but if m Master declines then I will have to erase both of your memories."
RING RING RING
She turns around putting her phone to her ear. "Hello...actually now there's two who know...the same girl and her friend...Thanks! Laters!" She hangs up and looks over at the the two. "Lucky for you Time Turner, the boss said yes. Now if you both can stand next to each other and show me your right wrists."
The two do so. Derpy blushed a bit as she stood close to her crush. With both hands Glow Hearts placed two fingers on their wrists. A heart image with wings printed on them. "Now these marks are pretty powerful. Only you two can see them no one else. The enemy can't posses you with it's power but that doesn't mean that he can't you someone else to try to hurt you. So please be careful. I got one more charm to cast on for you guys to help you defend yourselves but that one's going to have to wait."
"This is amazing! I can't believe it! This is an incredible discovery!" Time Turner says excited as he stared at his wrist.
"I read his heart," Glow Hearts whispers to Derpy. "If he can question it, it can make him happy." Derpy hugs her. "And your heart says whatever can make him happy, you're thankful for it!"
