Starlight Glimmer was reading a book in the throne.
Rarity burst through the door. "STARLIGHT, do you have a invisibility spell that will turn me invisible?!", she asked.
"An invisibility spell?", Starlight asked. "What do you need an invisibility spell on you for?"
"I want to hide from Spike!", Rarity screamed.
"Why are you hiding from Spike?", Starlight asked. "Wait a minute, did you dump Spike, you didn't go breaking that little dragon's heart? He tried so hard to start dating with you."
Rarity shook her head. "No, me and him are fine, its just--"
"Aha, there you are." Spike dropped from the ceiling and landed on Rarity. He sat on her waist. Rarity's heart was beating fast as she stared into the little dragon's eyes. A smile came to Spike's mouth, he raised an eyebrow. He raised his claws and said, "Gotcha." And then the tickling began.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NO SPIKE HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA STOOOOOP!", Rarity squealed, blushing as she tried to escape Spike's fingers dig into her belly.
"You know what you have to say to make me stop.", Spike said teasingly.
"Say what?", Starlight asked.
"I'm waiting.", Spike said.
Rarity wanted to make Spike stop tickling her, but, if she doesn't say what Spike wanted her to say, then it would make matters worse and it will go on for a while. "OK, OK, don't you tickle me again."
"Finally.", Spike said.
"That's what you wanted her to say?", Starlight asked.
"Yes I did.", Spike said.
"Can you get this dragon off me, please?", Rarity asked as her head was sweating. She bit her lip and blushed again as she felt a finger from Spike's claw sliding down her belly, slow and smooth, but not enough to cause ticklish giggles.
The rest of their friends entered the room. "What's all the commotion?", Applejack asked. They all looked around and found Spike sitting on Rarity's waist.
"Why are you sitting on her waist?", Rainbow Dash asked.
"I was just feeling how smooth Rarity's fur is.", Spike said.
"Yeah, pretty smooth.", Rarity said. "So, what are you all doing here?"
"We were checking on you to see what you all want to do this summer.", Fluttershy said.
"Maybe, Viva Las Pegasus?", Starlight asked.
"No way!", Applejack said. "I am not going there again, because last time we went it was chaos."
"So what else, Cloudsdale?", Spike asked.
"None of us can walk on clouds, except for Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash.", Pinkie Pie said.
"How about Manehatten?", Rarity asked.
"Twice after last week?", Twilight asked.
"I was also thinking Canterlot.", Starlight said.
"You've been to Canterlot before, Starlight, you went to the Grand Galloping Gala with us.", Twilight said.
"I was thinking Gryphonstone.", Pinkie Pie said. "Speaking of Gryphonstone, I wonder how Gilda's doing right now."
The Cutie Mark Crusaders burst through the door. "Girls!", the three said. They had a newspaper with them.
"Apple Bloom?", Applejack said.
"Sweetie Belle?", Rarity said.
"Scootaloo?", Rainbow Dash said.
"What are you three doing here?", Twilight asked.
"Did you read the article?", Scootaloo asked. She put the newspaper on the map. "Javier Black is back and he took control of Gryphonstone."
"We were just talking about Gryphonstone.", Pinkie said.
"And not only that, she has our friend, Gabby.", Apple Bloom said.
Rainbow Dash gasped. "Does he have Gilda?", she asked.
"According to the article, he's having Gilda assist him.", Sweetie Belle said.
"Oh man, it's the cranky gryphon all over again.", Rainbow Dash said as her ears drooped.
"Rainbow Dash, Gilda knows that she's still your friend, she'll never turn your back on you.", Twilight said.
"What if she's brain-washed, Javier Black is back and he's taken control of all of the gryphons in Gryphonstone.", Fluttershy said.
"Did the article say that he's big again?", Spike asked. "He better not be his normal size again."
"I think so.", Scootaloo said.
"If he's back, I'm going after him.", Spike said.
"Spike, are you crazy, you can't face him by yourself.", Applejack said.
"I'll be fine, girls, I handled him before on the night of the Grand Galloping Gala when I saw Fancy Pants propose to Rarity, kidnap me, took control of me and made me kill my friends.", Spike said. "You want him dead or not?"
"Of course we want him dead, but, you can't go to Gryphonstone yourself.", Starlight said. "You need an army."
"Then, I say we gather up some of our friends and plan the war between us and Javier Black.", Spike said.
"But, who?", Apple Bloom asked.
"Anypony we can find.", Spike said.
"I'll go see my Pie sisters to see if they want to help.", Pinkie said.
"I'll go to Manehatten to find Mr. Stripes to ask him for help.", Rarity said.
"I'll go to Appleoosa to find Braeborn to ask him for help.", Applejack said.
"Hold on, shouldn't you see that young buffalo along the way?", Rainbow Dash asked.
"Who, Strongheart?", Applejack asked. "Are you thinking she should help to?"
"Yeah, I'm thinking she could be useful for this.", Rainbow Dash said.
"I'll find Iron Will to ask him for help.", Fluttershy said.
"I'll go to Cloudsdale to ask some of the wonderbolts to help.", Rainbow Dash said.
"I'll go to Canterlot to find Discord, the three princesses, and my brother to ask them to help me.", Twilight said.
"Oh, Rarity, I can go with you to Manehatten to see my cousin?", Apple Bloom asked.
"Sure, Darling.", Rarity said.
"And before you leave, I have to visit Zecora to see if she made a potion for Javier Black to become big again.", Apple Bloom said.
"I'll go with you, Apple Bloom, because I need answers from that Zebra.", Spike said.
"Me and Scootaloo will find Cheerilee and Big Macintosh to ask them if they can help.", Sweetie Belle said.
"I'll go to Canterlot as well to find Sun Burst to ask for help from him.", Starlight said.
Spike and Apple Bloom were walking in the Everfree Forest to visit Zecora's voodoo house.
"So, Spike, why are coming to see Zecora?", Apple Bloom asked.
"Because, I need an explanation to why did she take Javier Black's order to make him a potion to make him his normal size again.", Spike said.
"Well, we're here.", Apple Bloom said. They opened the front door and walked in.
Zecora saw them walking in. "Hello, you two, what's on your minds right now?", she asked.
Spike and Apple Bloom sat down. "Listen, Zecora, a evil black gryphon named Javier Black came in here and made you make a potion to make him his normal size again, is that true?"
"Eventually, yes I did, I made him a potion to make him big again so he can do evil things again.", Zecora said.
Spike flipped out. "WHAT! I GOT EVIL THINGS RIGHT HERE!", he shouted.
"Spike, calm down.", Apple Bloom said. "You what, go outside and cool down."
"Well then, I'll do it.", Spike said as he knocked his seat down and walked out.
"I'm really sorry, Zecora.", Apple Bloom said. "He's been really upset since he heard what happened in the article we found this morning."
"When did he hear about it?", Zecora asked.
"Today, me and my friends were in my barn playing hide and seek and we found the newspaper just like that.", Apple Bloom said. "Did you give any other power?"
"Yeah, I gave him the power to rise spikes from the ground, make flames of fire, grow sharp nails, and rip body parts off of other ponies.", Zecora said. "Why?"
"He used those powers on us, even the heroes of Ponyville and Shining Armor.", Apple Bloom said. "He also used that nail power on me and burned my cousin. Is there a way to take those powers away or kill him?"
"I don't think there's a way to take those powers away, but, his weakness is fire.", Zecora said.
"Thanks, Zecora.", Apple Bloom said. "I guess I'll be on my way now." She got off her seat and walked out.
Spike was sitting on a rock. "How did it go?", he asked.
"She said he's got the same powers that you used to torture us and his weakness is fire.", Apple Bloom said.
"Well, that explains it.", Spike said. "Ok, you go to Manehatten with Rarity and see your cousin, I'll go to the land of dragons and find the dragon lord for help." He ran off into the wild.
Applejack walked through the dessert trying to find the ponies in Appleoosa. Her back hooves were killing her, her head was facing the ground, she ran all the way from Ponyville just to get to Appleoosa. She lifts her head and sees that she finally made it there, but, her back hooves couldn't take it anymore, they were ready to collapse.
Braeborn saw Applejack collapse on the ground, he ran to her. "Cousin! Cousin, you alright?", he asked. "Talk to me."
He patted her on the cheek a couple times, she didn't wake up. "Guess we'll do this the easy way.", he said. He put his hooves on her belly and pumped it.
Applejack flailed her hooves as she felt her belly being pumped. She sat up and touched her stomach. "Good lord, Braeborn, what was all that about?", she asked.
"You collapsed, cousin.", Braeborn said. "You looked like you didn't feel right."
"I'm fine.", Applejack said. "I walked all the way from Ponyville to here, and my back hooves were killing me."
"What's wrong with your back hooves, you have broken bones?", Braeborn asked.
"No, my back hooves are fine.", Applejack said. "I'm not here for my back hooves, I came here to warn you about something."
"I'll be glad to hear what you want to talk to me about.", Braeborn said.
"But, let's sit down somewhere, my back hooves are killing me.", Applejack said.
The cowboy helped his cousin up and brought her to a chair by the bar. "So, what are you trying to me?", he asked.
"An evil black gryphon named Javier Black took over Gryphonstone and I'm asking you to help me and my friends.", Applejack said.
"I will be happy to help.", Braeborn said happily.
"Oh, is Little Strongheart here?", Applejack asked. "I want her to help as well."
"Yeah, she here.", Braeborn said. "She spending time with some of my friends. I'll be right back."
He got off his seat and went over to the young buffalo and his friends. "Excuse me, y'all, can I borrow her for a second?", he asked.
"Oh, sure.", one of them said.
"What's going on, Brae?", Little Strongheart asked.
"My cousin is here and wants me and to help her.", Braeborn said. "And she wants your help as well."
"Applejack is here?", Little Strongheart asked.
"Yeah, she's right over there.", Braeborn said pointing at the place where Applejack's sitting down. "You should listen to what she heard today."
Little Strongheart walked over to Applejack and sat on a seat. "Hello, Applejack.", she said. "I heard there's something on your mind. Can you tell me what?"
"An evil gryphon named Javier Black is back and he's taking over Gryphonstone.", Applejack said.
"How do you know about this creature?", Little Strongheart asked.
"One night during the Grand Galloping Gala, he used Spike to torture me and my friends.", Applejack said. "Spike has been really upset when he heard he has returned."
"Did he plan this?", Little Strongheart asked.
"Yes.", Applejack said. "He said he wants to assemble an army against him."
"Then, we got to get to your home town.", Braeborn said.
"Let's go.", Little Strongheart said.
The three prepared their legs. "Whoa, whoa, cousin.", Braeborn said. "You can't run, you said your hooves are killing you. Ride on my back."
Applejack understood why she can't run. "Alright, Braeborn.", she said. She walked over to her cousin's back and got on him.
"Are you sure you'll survive with her on your back while running to Ponyville?", Little Strongheart asked.
"I'm just trying to help her.", Braeborn said. "I'll be fine."
Little Strongheart and Braeborn started running through to get to Ponyville.
Fluttershy was looking all over Ponyville to find Iron Will. She turned and saw him on stage in front a group of Ponies.
"Alright, ponies, watch and learn as you see this bunny's neck snap.", the giant minotaur said.
Fluttershy wasn't let him snap that bunny's neck. "Hold it right there, Iron Will!", she said assertively.
The minotaur looked up and saw the yellow Pegasus glaring at him. "Oh, it's you again.", he said. He dropped the bunny.
The other ponies looked up at her and backed away. "Look at this, you've scared my crowd.", Iron Will said.
"There's n time for being assertive.", Fluttershy said. "There's a evil black gryphon on the loose in a different place."
"What's his name?", Iron Will asked.
"His name is Javier Black, one of the most dangerous gryphons in all the land.", Fluttershy said.
Iron Will rolled his eyes. "Never heard of him.", he said.
"Which is why I'm here to ask you if you can help me.", Fluttershy said.
"Iron Will's sorry, but, I don't help ponies.", Iron Will said.
"You helped me on something once.", Fluttershy said.
"I helped you become assertive the first time I met you.", Iron Will said. "And that one time you turned your back on me."
"That's because hurting my friends was something I should've done ever since I started hurting other ponies.", Fluttershy said. "If you don't want to help, that's fine." She was getting ready to fly away.
Iron Will thought about how the first time working with each other didn't go well. "Wait!", he said. "I'll help you."
Fluttershy stopped and turned to the minotaur. "You really are going to help?", she asked.
"Yes, I will help face that gryphon.", Iron Will said.
"I was hoping you would.", Fluttershy said. "Because, the first time we saw him, he used one of my friends to torture us."
"Yeah, yeah, I understand.", Iron Will said. "Where do I go?"
Pinkie Pie was walking around her rock farm looking for her sisters. The area was clear. "Where are they?", she asked herself. She walked up to the door and knocked. "Hello, sisters, are you home?"
The door opened, it was Maud Pie, Pinkie's best sister. "What are you doing here, Pinkie?", she asked.
Pinkie walked up to her sister and hugged her. "I'm glad you're here, Maud.", she said happily. "Are the other sisters here?"
"Yes, they're in the living room.", Maud said.
"Thanks.", Pinkie said. "Because I need to tell them something." She entered the house and walked into the living room.
Limestone Pie and Marble Pie were sitting on the couch, they both saw their pink sister walking in. "Oh crap.", Limestone said. "What are you doing here?"
"Now, now, 'Captain Cranky', there's something I need to talk about and it's really important.", Pinkie said. "Will you go to Gryphonstone with me to stop this evil gryphon named Javier Black from slaving the gryphons?"
Marble Pie shook in fear.
Limestone rolled her eyes. "Hell no.", she said. "I'm not going to a different place to help other creatures."
"But, my friend, Spike, planned this to go against him so he can take him down, because one time he used him to go against me and my other friends.", Pinkie said.
"I agree with Pinkie on this, I'm her sister and I helped her a lot.", Maud said.
Pinkie smiled and hugged her sister.
Limestone chuckled. "I guess I could help Pinkie, because... after all those parties for the whole family and she did bring us joy throughout the years.", she said.
"Aww, is that how you feel about me?", Pinkie asked.
"Of course it is.", Limestone said.
Pinkie ran over to Limestone and hugged her. "Thank you so much, Limestone.", she said. "But, what about Marble?"
Limestone looked behind her and looked at poor Marble still shaking in fear. "Leave her out of it, she's not brave enough to fight.", she said. "Sorry, sis."
Rarity and Apple Bloom arrived at Canterlot on a boat looking for the ponies they need. "Ah, we're finally here.", Rarity said. "So, why did you want me to bring you here again, Darling?"
"I need to ask my cousin if she wants to help fight against Javier Black, she first saw him at the Grand Galloping Gala when he used Spike to hurt us.", Apple Bloom said.
"Well, you care about Spike, do you?", Rarity asked.
"Of course I do, but, my cousin freaked out when she saw Spike kill me.", Apple Bloom said. "Did Applejack get mad when she saw me get killed?"
"No, she was really sad.", Rarity said. "Applejack loved you so much, she said you were sensitive in the inside."
Apple Bloom was surprised. "Who said I was sensitive?", she asked.
"She did.", Rarity said.
They both got off the boat and looked all over the city. "I don't see my cousin anywhere.", Apple Bloom said.
"I don't even see Mr. Stripes anywhere.", Rarity said.
Apple Bloom looked to the right and saw her cousin, Babs across the street carrying bags of groceries. "There she is!", she said. She ran across the street trying to catch up with her, yelling her name.
Babs turned and saw her cousin running to her in the street. "Whoa, cousin!", she said. "Get out of the street, you're going to get hit!"
Apple Bloom made it to the sidewalk and caught her breath. "Babs, I'm glad I found you.", she said.
"What are you doing here, and why were you rushing over to me in the street?", Babs asked. "You could've been hit by a taxi pony, plus, I'm helping my mom with the groceries."
"Javier Black is back!", Apple Bloom said.
Babs stopped walking and turned to her cousin. "What?"
"Javier Black is back and he's terrorizing the gryphons in Gryphonstone.", Apple Bloom said.
"He's in Gryphonstone?", Babs asked. "He's too tiny to terrorize other creatures."
"He's big again, he went to Zecora's and drank a potion to make him big again.", Apple Bloom said. "And I want you to help me fight against him in Gryphonstone."
Babs smiled. "I'd be happy to help you.", she said. "This time, I'm staying by your side and defend you, because I don't want you getting killed again."
Babs' mother called from across the sidewalk. "Honey.", she said.
"Oh yeah, coming.", Babs said. She ran after her mother.
"Rarity!", the voice said from behind Rarity.
Rarity turned around and saw Mr. Stripes behind her. "Mr. Stripes, it's good to see you.", she said.
"It's so good to see you to.", Mr. Stripes said. "So, what are you doing here?"
"Are you wrestler?", Rarity asked.
Mr. Stripes rolled his eyes to the left and scratched his head. "Um... I could be, because I wear a towel around my neck.", he said. "Why?"
"Because, I need to help us fight against an evil black gryphon named Javier Black terrorizing Gryphonstone.", Rarity said.
"Javier Black?! He's awful.", Mr. Stripes said. "Everypony's talking about him on the newspapers whenever they see him."
"I want a specific answer: yes or no?", Rarity asked.
"Yes, I do want to help you fight against Javier Black.", Mr. Stripes said. "My daughter is with a babysitter so she'll be fine."
Rainbow Dash arrived at Cloudsdale, but, her wonderbolt friends were nowhere to be seen. "Where are they?", she asked herself.
She turned to her right and saw Soarin, Spitfire, and Thunderlane sitting at a table. "There you are.", she said. She walked over to them. "Hey, Soarin. Hey, Spitfire. Hey, Thunderlane."
"Hello, Dash.", Spitfire said.
"Hi, Rainbow Dash.", Soarin said.
"What's up?", Thunderlane asked. "C'mon, grab a chair."
Rainbow Dash grabbed a chair and sat down with three Pegasus ponies. "Javier Black is taken control of Gryphonstone and my friends and I need your help."
"What does this Javier Black look like?", Spitfire asked.
"He's a black gryphon with an evil look on his face.", Rainbow Dash said.
"Are there other details about that gryphon?", Thunderlane asked.
"That's all I think about his picture.", Rainbow Dash said. "Have you seen a gryphon before?"
"Yeah, it's been a few years since I've seen one.", Soarin said. "You remember that one gryphon that you've been friends with until she was a bitch to other ponies?"
"Yes, then after a few years without me seeing her, I made her change her ways and her friend gave me a letter from her to let me know how Gryphonstone's been going on.", Rainbow Dash said. "But, right now, she's being slaved."
"Wasn't she your best friend a long time ago?", Thunderlane asked.
"Yes.", Rainbow Dash said. "I just hope she's alright."
"If she's your true friend, then we are in to go against him.", Spitfire said.
Rainbow Dash smiled. "Thank you, guys, I wouldn't be nothing if I didn't have friends like you three.", she said. "Because, the last time we saw him, he got Spike and took control of his mind, which used him to hurt me and my friends."
"We understand.", Spitfire said. "Now, lets get down there."
The four Pegasus ponies got themselves prepared soared down into the land.
Twilight walked through Canterlot looking for her brother, her sister-in-law, and the two sky gods. "I thought they would be here, they're normally here.", Twilight said. She saw them walked down the street with Flurry Heart. "Hey from over there!"
"Twilight!", Shining Armor said.
The group of baby walkers and Twilight ran to each other. "What are you doing here?!", Cadence asked.
"Were you coming here for a visit?", Celestia asked.
"Don't your friends need you?", Luna asked.
"No no no, guys, I only came here to tell you... Javier Black is back and he's taken control of Gryphonstone.", Twilight said.
"Oh no, don't tell me, he killed somepony.", Shining Armor said.
"No, I'm sure he didn't kill somepony yet.", Twilight said. "I would say he opened up a can of worms."
"Shouldn't Discord hear this as well?", Luna asked.
"Hear what?" He was floating above the ponies. "I bet it was a voice from a giant super villain named Tirek. Oh, who am I kidding, he's in prison right now, I'm sure he'll never get out."
"That's not who I'm talking about, Discord.", Twilight scowled. "I'm talking about Javier Black."
The grey creature gasped. "What?! Javier Black is back?!", he said.
"Yes he is.", Twilight said.
"Where is he now?", Discord asked fiercely.
"He's in Gryphonstone right now.", Twilight said.
"Oh, I thought he would be here or in a place where I helped a giant villain prison these buffoons.", Discord joked. "What is he doing right now?"
"He's probably taken control of the gryphons.", Twilight guessed. "And I was asking if you guys can help me."
"Sure.", Shining Armor said. "Why not?"
"But, what should we do with Flurry Heart?", Cadence asked worried.
"We'll take care of her, Cadence.", Celestia said.
"Yeah, we'll make sure she's fed, she's bathed, and she doesn't get into trouble.", Luna said.
"Thank you, you two.", Cadence said. "But, make sure she doesn't get way passed her sleep schedule." She used her magic to pick up her daughter and gave her to the two princesses.
"Also, make sure Shining Armor doesn't get killed or burned again.", Luna said. "You remember, right?"
"Of course we do, Luna.", Shining Armor said.
"And lets hope I don't killed to.", Cadence said.
"So, where are your friends?", Discord asked.
"They're traveling all over the place visiting their friends to see if they want to help.", Twilight said.
Starlight walked up to Sunburst's front door and knocked on it. "Sunburst, are you home?", she asked.
The fake wizard opened his front door and saw her unicorn friend standing there. "Starlight, it's good to see you.", he said hugging the pink unicorn. "So, what brings you here?"
"Can I come in?", Starlight asked.
"Of course you can.", Sunburst said letting her friend in his house.
Starlight took her seat and sat on it. "I need your help and Spike's really upset about it.", she said.
"Oh no, does Spike have an anger problem?", Sunburst asked.
"Well, yeah, but that's not like the main problem.", Starlight said. "An evil gryphon named Javier Black has taken over Gryphonstone and slaved the gryphons."
"Javier Black?", Sunburst asked. "He's awful, Luna told me what happened the first time you and your friends saw him."
"She did?", Starlight asked.
"Yeah, he took control of Spike's mind and used him to torture you and your friends and he also controlled two other ponies.", Sunburst said explaining the whole story. "So, are you asking me to help you fight against him?"
"Yeah.", Starlight said.
"Because, I've been waiting to fight against him with my magic.", Sunburst said with confidence.
"Well, Spike's going to do all the fighting, because, he really wants to kill him.", Starlight said.
Dragon Lord Ember was facing the wind on the largest rock of the dragon area. She was wearing her gold armor.
"Hello, DL Ember.", Spike said from behind.
The tall blue dragon turned around and saw Spike. "Hello, Spike.", she said as she turned back to the wind. Her eyes widened and turned to the small purple dragon the second time. "Spike?! Don't talk behind me again, you scared me. Have you been standing right there the whole time?"
"Enough talking and listen to me.", Spike said. "Do you know this evil gryphon named Javier Black?"
"Nope.", Ember said. "I don't know him."
"He's an evil black gryphon that has taken over Gryphonstone and slaved the gryphons.", Spike said.
"Do you know what he did in the past?", Ember asked.
"Yes, he kidnapped me and brain-washed me and used me to torture my friends one night.", Spike said.
"Wow.", Ember said. "Are you really upset about this creature?"
"Yes I am.", Spike said. "I thought I got rid of him, but, no, he got a potion from Zecora's to make him big again and now he's back to hurt other creatures."
"That's the scariest thing, I've ever heard: the brain-washing thing. How did he do that?", Ember said.
"A necklace with a darkness spark!", Spike snapped. "But, don't worry about that, it has been destroyed."
"So, do you need my help on stopping him?", Ember asked.
"Yes I do.", Spike said. "Make sure you have your armor on."
"I'm already wearing it.", Ember said. "Didn't you see me already in it?"
"Whatever, let me hop on your back.", Spike said. He hopped on the tall dragon's back and they both flew into the sky heading for Spike's hometown.
Rainbow Dash looked all over Ponyville to see where Big Mac is. She looked and saw Big Mac with Ponyville's best teacher, Cheerilee laying down on a picnic blanket near Sweet Apple Acres. "There you are, Big Mac.", she said.
She landed near their picnic blanket and spoke to them. "Hello, you two."
The couple sat up and saw the rainbow Pegasus. "RD, hello.", Big Mac said.
"Hi there, Rainbow.", Cheerilee said. "What are you doing here?"
"Big Mac, Spike wanted me to get you.", Rainbow Dash said.
"Get me?", Big Mac asked. "Why did he want you to get me, what does he need me for?"
"There is an evil gryphon named Javier Black that's terrorizing Gryphonstone.", Rainbow Dash said.
"I'm sorry, but, I don't know who that is.", Big Mac said.
"He was a gryphon that we saw for the first on the night of the Grand Galloping Gala when he kidnapped Spike and used him to kill us.", Rainbow Dash said.
"Used Spike?", Cheerilee asked. "Why would he use him to kill you and your friends."
"He's a psychopath.", Rainbow Dash said. "Discord said he was the most dangerous gryphons of all time."
"I'm sorry, Rainbow Dash, but you fought a lot of villains.", Cheerilee said. "All I do is teaching, but not fighting evil."
"So, how did you get rid of him the first time you defeated him?", Big Mac asked.
"Spike shrunk him and he ran off into the distance and we thought he was gone for good.", Rainbow Dash said. "He said he wanted somepony big and strong, and that's you, Big Mac."
"Well, I'm in.", Big Mac said. "Sweetheart, I know we got here fifteen minutes ago, but, Spike needs me."
"I understand, Big Mac.", Cheerilee said. She kissed on the lips.
The others were standing by flower pots. "You know, I'm glad you brought me here, Rainbow.", Big Mac remarked. "Me and Spike are best of pals."
"But, you and him don't hang out with him that much.", Rainbow Dash said.
"I know.", Big Mac said. "But, the only pony he hangs out with most is Rarity."
Rarity blushed. "Please don't embarrass me, Big Mac.", she said.
"So, where is he right now?", Big Mac asked.
"He said earlier he needed to use the bathroom before we leave for Gryphonstone.", Twilight said.
The, all of a sudden, Spike appeared. "Well, I'm back.", he said. "And hello, Big Mac."
"And hello to you to, Spike.", Big Mac said.
"You heard about that evil gryphon that's in Gryphonstone?", Spike asked. "That's the one who once used me! And he's freaking--" He angrily smashed a flower pot.
"Dude, Carrot Top needed that one.", Scootaloo said.
"I DON'T CARE!", Spike shouted. "No matter what happens were all in this together."
"But, why would say that?", Mr. Stripes asked.
Spike ran to Mr. Stripes and pulled on his towel. "I JUST WANT SOMEPONY TO HAVE MY BACK", he shouted.
"Okay, I get it. Claws off.", Mr. Stripes said.
Fluttershy put a hoof to Spike's chest and pulled him away from Mr. Stripes. "Spike, will you just take it easy?", she asked. "You're scaring the others right now."
Spike sighed. "Sorry for how I'm acting right now, Fluttershy.", he said. "But, you girls remember what he did to me on the night of the Grand Galloping Gala, right?"
The group arrived at Gryphonstone, they search around looking for Javier Black and the rest of the gryphons. "Do you need a gem to make you feel better, Spike?", Little Strongheart asked.
"I don't have time for gems right now, Strongheart.", Spike said. "I need to focus."
"Why do you need to focus so much?", Braeborn asked.
"JAVIER BLACK HAS TO DIE!", Spike shouted. "I thought I got rid of him for good when I defeated him the first time, and I can do it again."
"Spike, why would you want him dead so badly?", Sweetie Belle asked.
"You seen him before.", Spike said. "He was a freak. I didn't even face him alone, well, I'm not alone right now, because of you all."
"But, why did you want us here and don't want to face if we did have your back?", Scootaloo asked. "I bet he'll try to kill you easily."
"HE'S GOING TO MAKE ME LOOK LIKE A MORON!", Spike shouted.
Scootaloo grabbed and pinned against a rock, covering his mouth. "Dude! I need you to chill.", she said. "Do you want him to hear us?"
Then, they heard a voice from behind the rock. "What the hell is this?!", the voice said. It was Javier Black sitting on his new-made throne. Gabby had her neck chained next to the throne. Gilda was standing next to it, sweating.
One of the slaved gryphons were serving him food. "It's soup, Sir.", the creature said. "I made it special."
The evil gryphon glared and threw the soup at the other gryphons. "I didn't ask for something special, I want it to be bland and bitter.", he said. "Go make it again, but, what I said."
"You won't be needing anything to eat now that I'm here.", Spike said.
Javier Black turned and saw the group. "Well, well, well, if it isn't Spike and the Pony Gang.", he said. "Well, you do have other creatures like a another dragon, a minotaur, a draconecuus, and a buffalo. Also, what are you doing her? This is my kingdom, I'm the mayor here."
"You're not the mayor.", Rainbow Dash said. "Gilda's the rightful mayor."
"Thank you, Dash.", Gilda said softly.
"Be quiet, Gilda, nopony gives a damn about you!", Javier Black snapped.
"Don't you talk to our friend like that!", Pinkie said.
"You think you can brighten this pest's heart with joy?", Javier Black asked with a threat. "I don't think so."
"Stop it, Black.", Spike said. "This is between you and me, leave my friends out of it."
Javier Black rolled his eyes. "You're talking to a ruler, boy.", he said. "Show some respect for nature."
"You're the one does have respect for nature.", Spike said.
"Sure I do, I am better ruler after all.", Javier Black said trying to brag.
"Why can't you choose what you want to be?", Rarity asked.
"What?!", Javier Black said.
"I want to be a Lady of Generosity.", Rarity said.
"I want to be the greatest dragon lord.", Ember said.
"I want to be King of Assertiveness.", Iron Will said.
"Excuse me, you know kings are evil, right?", Applejack asked.
"Says who?", Iron Will asked. "I want to be a greater creature."
"Hey, I thought I was better!", Discord said.
"What about me?", Pinkie asked. "I'm a greater creature."
"You think I'm not a greater creature?", Rainbow Dash asked. "I'm a greater creature."
"Me and my wife are greater creatures to.", Shining Armor said. "I mean, look at my wife's wings, she's an alicorn."
"I can be a greater creature as well.", Limestone said. "I can destroy rocks easily."
"I want to be a greater creature.", Scootaloo said. "Of course I can't flly, but, still I can be greater."
"I thought I was greater.", Gabby said. "Don't you want to be greater, Javier?"
"I don't have any time for this crap.", Javier Black said.
"It's the only way!", Gilda yelled. "Choose to be greater."
"Don't let be greater, make be greater!", Babs said.
Everypony keeps fighting about if they want to be greater. Javier Black's closed fists shook and his face turned red. "STOP FIGHTING!", he shouted.
They all stopped fighting.
"I'M SERIOUS RIGHT NOW, I HAVE HAD IT!", the gryphon yelled. "THERE'S A LIMIT TO WHAT I CAN TAKE!"
"What is going on here?", Gabby asked.
"Look around you, Gab.", Javier Black said. "This is outrageous, and I have a very high tolerance for outrageous. If this is what it takes to be greater, I would take my chances as an obsessed flying creature, it's less complicated."
"I don't get it at all.", Starlight said. "What is he talking about?"
"As a heart attack, think about it.", Javier Black said. "What does it take to be greater, you get moronic, you don't have immortality, you can't get it up anymore. I ain't looking forward to that."
"Black, it doesn't matter what happens to you.", Spike said. "It's okay to choose whatever you want, I want to be a hero."
"Aren't you already a hero?", Maud asked.
"Oh yeah, my bad.", Spike said.
"Spike, you became a hero when you defeated me on the night of the Grand Galloping Gala, you shrunk me, I was so humiliated of how I sounded and looked so I ran off.", Javier Black said. "After that, I laid low planning for revenge, I went to get a potion to make me my size again, I came back to get Gabby back with me."
"Gabby, what is he talking?", Apple Bloom asked.
"You want to know why?", Gabby asked. "Here it is,... I am Javier Black's sister."
Everypony gasped. "This gryphon is your brother?", Twilight asked.
"What did he do to become this?", Spitfire asked.
"It all started back at school, me and him made a project.", Gabby explained to the group. "When we presented it, the classmates made fun of it. He got really upset, he had to attack them. He held one hostage and snapped its neck. Me and the others backed away from him, he started scaring us. He zoomed out of our class and ran off, I tried to catch him, but, he was gone. But, now that he is back, he forced all of the gryphons to make him a stool for loyalty."
"Well, there you go, Gab, you expressed how I became this.", Javier Black said. "I made you my assistant, because I wanted you to do everything for me, when those gryphons back in school made fun of our project, you didn't defend me."
"I didn't know what to say.", Gabby said.
"Gab, I'm done talking about it.", Javier Black said as he turned to the group. "And guess what, as a gryphon, I'm freaking infamous, I'm one of the most notorious slashers in Equestrian History, and I don't want to give that up. I'm Javier Black, the killer gryphon, and I dig it."
Thunder crashed from the sky of black clouds.
"I have everything I want, a loyal sister, and some gryphons who bow to me.", he said. He turned to the grey gryphon once again. "This is who I am, Gab, this is me."
Gabby sighed. "Javier, I don't know what the hell you're talking about or who you are anymore.", she said. "It's just not enough for me, I want more."
Javier Black gave a sterned look at Gabby. "What are you saying?", he asked.
"I'm not your loyal sister anymore.", Gabby said. "I'm joining them and I'm taking Gilda with me."
Javier Black got angrier and angrier, he shook his fists again, he faced turned bright red. "Nopony leaves me, NOPONY!", he said.
He pointed at Twilight. "IT'S YOUR FAULT, YOU DID THIS TO ME!", he shouted. He grew and sharp nail from his finger.
Shining Armor gasped.
Javier darted the nail to Twilight, but, Shining Armor used himself as a shield to block it. It skewered through his chest. He screamed in pain as he fell to the ground.
"SWEETY!", Cadence cried. She pulled the nail out of his chest with her magic and held him closed with her hooves. "Sweety, speak to me."
Shining coughed. "Cadence, you have to leave me here.", he said.
"I can't do that, you're my husband, I can't leave you here! I'm not losing you again!", Cadence cried.
"You have to take care of Flurry Heart yourself.", Shining said.
"She's only a baby, I can't take care of her myself.", Cadence cried.
"You have Twilight, Celestia, and Luna to help you.", Shining said.
"But, they're princesses, they have other duties.", Cadence cried.
"Cadence, please, I want you to know that I'll always loved you as a beautiful princess.", Shining said.
"I wasn't a beautiful princess when I met you.", Cadence cried.
"But, you were one,... to me.", Shining said. Then, he was gone.
"NO! NO! NO! SWEETHEART, PLEASE COME BACK TO ME! DON'T LEAVE ME!", Cadence cried. She held her husband close as tears fell down her eyes.
Spike closed his fists and shook them, his face turned red. Just then, he let out a huge roar and his eyes burst with flames. "THIS... ENDS... NOW!", he shouted. He ran passed poor Cadence and darted his fists at Javier Black causing fire to burst out straight at him.
Javier Black made a rock wall with his powers to block the fire. He lifted one foot up and stomped it causing it to break. Pieces of rock fell on the others.
Spike picked up rocks with his claws and threw them at Javier Black.
Javier Black used his arms to block the rocks, but, he missed them. They went into his eyes. "Ow! My eyes!", he said.
"Let's get out of here while his eyes are knocked out.", Spike said.
The Spike's gang and the other gryphons ran out of the village. Cadence wasn't leaving, she was still holding on to Shining Armor's dead body.
"Cadence, what are you doing?!", Rarity asked. "He's going to open his eyes any moment, we have to leave."
"I can't leave my husband here!", Cadence cried.
"You have to.", Rarity said. "I'm sorry." She grabbed the crying princess with her magic, pulling her away from Shining Armor's corpse.
"This gryphon is crazy!", Soarin yelled. "How are we going to kill him."
"Fire!", Spike said. "His weakness is fire."
"Yeah, just like Zecora said when I visited her.", Apple Bloom said.
"Can we set up a fire around us so he can walk through it?", Thunderlane asked.
"He's not going to walk through it.", Rainbow Dash said.
"Can we make a hole filled with fire as a trap, so he can fall through it?", Babs asked.
"He can fly, he's a gryphon.", Scootaloo said.
Spike took a deep breath. "I know what I need to do.", he said.
"Spike, what are you talking about?", Twilight asked.
"I have gain the powers that were in that necklace when I tortured you and the others, Twilight.", Spike said. "When I feel the powers around me, I become powerful. Is there a necklace that anypony has for me?"
"I have this one right here.", Gabby said revealing the necklace. "This is definitely the necklace that Javier Black used on you when he kidnapped you. Put, this on and feel the powers around you."
Spike took the necklace from Gabby's hand and put the it on. He closed his eyes and felt the powers in the necklace around him. He opened his glowing eyes and raised in the air. Fire, spikes, thorns, water, and rocks surrounded him.
Javier Black appeared from a corner and saw Spike with his powers from his necklace. "What?! What is going on?!", he said.
Spike turned and saw the gryphon looking at him. "JAVIER BLACK, YOU HAVE BEEN THREATENING AND HURTING OTHERS OVER THE PAST YEARS, NOW YOU MUST PAY THE ULTIMATE PRICE!", he said as he darted his powers at the gryphon.
Javier Black tried to take cover , but, there was nowhere to hide. He was doomed.
Spike's eyes stopped glowing. His powers slowed down and fell nearly at Javier Black. His feet touched the ground and sighed. "Wouldn't hurt a fly.", he said. "I'm not that kind of creature."
"Of course you wouldn't.", Javier Black said. "But, you are still weak." He started running towards Spike.
Spike made a hole in the ground and filled it with fire. He grabbed Javier Black and held him in his grip.
"What are you doing?", Javier Black asked.
"Alright, Black, lets finished what you started.", Spike said. He ran to the firey hole.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!", Javier Black screamed.
They both went in the hole and the hole exploded.
The whole group gasped.
"SPIKE!", Twilight cried.
"SPIKEY-WIKEY!", Rarity cried. She tried running to hole.
But, Iron Will grabbed her to stop her. "Hey! Hey. Let him go, girl.", he said. "Ain't nothing we can do."
"But, he's full of fire.", Apple Bloom said.
"I agree, dragons have fire inside them.", Sweetie Belle said.
The fire in the hole went out. "Let me check to see if he's alive.", Little Strongheart said. "Spike! Spike!" She didn't hear Spike answer.
She looked back at the group. "Dead."
Twilight shook with sadness in her eyes. "No. No. No, he can't be dead.", she said.
Starlight put a hoof on Twilight's shoulder. "I'm sorry, Twilight, there's nothing we can do.", she said.
Cadence felt sorry for her friend. She walked over to the hole, looked in it and saw Spike's burned body. "I see his body, it's still in there!", she said.
"Well, get it out of there!", Pinkie cried.
Cadence picked up Spike's burned body out of the hole and set it on the ground.
Rarity walked over to Spike's burned body and touched his head. "Can there be a way to fix him?", she asked.
"I think so, Rarity.", Ember said. "Like the small buffalo said: he's dead. We should plan a funeral for him."
Twilight and Rarity nodded. They were all sad of the loss of their hero.
At the cemetery, Spike's burned body was placed in a coffin. Everypony were wearing all black. Discord was sitting next to Fluttershy, stroking her mane. Pinkie Pie was leaning on Maud's shoulder, crying a river. Twilight was by the coffin, paying her respects to her lost dragon friend. "Good bye, Spike.", she said softly as a tear fell down her face.
Scootaloo stared Twilight's face, then she looked at Rainbow Dash. "Rainbow Dash, Spike said that everything will be fine.", she said.
"I know, Squirt.", Rainbow Dash said.
"I'm just glad Javier Black is dead.", Spitfire said.
"But, we lost two friends.", Thunderlane said.
The coffin was placed in the hole. "Before we bury this coffin, I would like to have Spike's friends say some words about him.", the priest said.
Twilight went first. "Spike was the best number one assistant I've ever had.", she said. "He maybe a dragon, but, he did great helping us. He had a future ahead of him and I wish his life wasn't cut so short." She walked to her seat and sat.
Rarity walked behind of the hole with the coffin inside. "My little Spikey-Wikey was such a great helper and the best little dragon I've ever met in a long time.", she said. "He loved me so much that I wish his life wasn't cut so short. I will always love him whether he's with me or not."
The grave digger started burying the coffin. Everypony started leaving.
Mr. Stripes stood by Rarity's side. "I'm so sorry about your friend.", he said.
Braeborn and Little Strongheart was walking with Applejack. "Spike was a great friend, I wish his life wasn't cut so short to.", Braeborn said.
"He sure was, cousin.", Applejack said.
"I thought he was awesome.", Little Strongheart said.
"Yes... he was.", Applejack said.
Apple Bloom touched Spike's tombstone. Babs walked over to her. "I'm sorry about the dragon, I mean, I hardly knew him.", she said.
"That's fine, cousin.", Apple Bloom said. "I just wish there was a way to bring him back."
Discord hugged Fluttershy. "Spike did his hardest not to let you down, but, now he did.", he said.
"But, why would he sacrifice himself for us?", Fluttershy asked. "Did he do that to save us?"
"Maybe, I don't know.", Discord said.
Rainbow Dash hugged her wonderbolt friends. "Thank you for helping me and my friends (even Spike) on taking down Javier Black.", she said.
"Yeah, I'm glad we stopped him.", Spitfire said.
"No matter what happened back there, I bet he deserved it.", Thunderlane said.
"And we're very sorry about Spike.", Soarin said.
"Don't worry about it.", Rainbow Dash said.
Pinkie Pie hugged her sisters as tears kept falling down her face. "Spike, should've used his powers to kill Black.", she cried. "Without him, how will me and my friends be a whole family."
"Don't worry about that dragon friend of yours, Pinkie.", Maud said.
"Yeah, at least you have your friends with you.", Limestone said.
Twilight still sat in her seat, she wanted some more time to look at Spike's tombstone. "I'm sorry your friend caused himself to get burned, when he grabbed Javier Black and they fell into that hole full of fire.", Gabby said as she wrapped her arms around Twilight.
"I will like to thank you for helping us, Gabby.", Twilight said. "From now on, you are the mayor of Gryphonstone now."
"Thank you, Twilight.", Gabby said with a tear in her eye.
Spike did a great job killing Javier Black, and he thought his life would be longer to be with Rarity so they would get married. But, the soul of Spike the Dragon lives on.
