Embarrassing Things Happen Sometimes...

After an embarrassing event happens at one of Pinkie's parties, Rainbow Dash begins to have doubts about her life. Luckily, her best friend, Fluttershy, is there to comfort her.

We all know the story: two people are dating, they go to a party one night, one of them drinks a little bit too much, and they end up doing something extremely embarrassing.

It's no different for Rainbow Dash. For over a year now, her and Fluttershy have been dating. Rainbow's relationship with the yellow pony has been the greatest relationship she's ever had. Sure, it hasn't always been easy, they've had their ups and downs: times where things have been perfect, while there's been other times where things have been difficult. But, never-the-less, the two of them have never regretted being together. That is, until one day...

At one of Pinkie's recent parties, Rainbow Dash drunk more apple cider than she could handle. Then, before she even knew it, she was kissing Fluttershy, in front of EVERYONE - Pinkie, Rarity, Twilight, Applejack, Mr & Mrs Cake and their two foals, and even Shy's and Dash's own parents. Now, Rainbow Dash is beginning to have regrets: the type of regrets where there is something that you wish that you'd never done it, or if your mind feels that depressed, even regrets about being born.

Fluttershy doesn't want Rainbow Dash to be sad, she doesn't like seeing her upset. Especially as upset and embarrassed as she feels right now. Rainbow Dash helped her when she was having hard times, now it's time for Fluttershy to help her special pony during her own time of panic and worry...

Takes place in the same universe as Fluttershy's Secret. It's recommended you read this first for the story to make complete sense.

My entry for the third FlutterDash group contest.

Parties don't last forever

Rainbow Dash stood on a small cloud, gently kicking pieces of it away. She hung her head low, almost as if she was ashamed of herself. Above her, much larger clouds were emitting rain. Dash was getting completely drenched in the bad weather, but she didn't care. Not after what she'd just been through...

==========

The incident at Pinkie's Party

It was a cold, but beautiful night. Lots and lots of bright white stars were visible in the sky. In the distance, some loud music could be heard. The music was coming from a house in Sugarcube Corner. Multi-coloured lights were seen out of the many windows of the building.

Two ponies, holding hooves, were walking up to the building. One of them seemed excited, but also nervous at the same time, while the other pony was ecstatic.

"Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! This is gonna be SOOO much fun!!!" an excited Rainbow Dash exclaimed loudly, speaking at a really fast pace. Fluttershy was also happy about the party herself, although she was much more quiet about it.

"Yeah, it'll be nice to see Pinkie and the girls for a few hours," Fluttershy said calmly, brushing her mane away from her face. Rainbow Dash gave Fluttershy a quick kiss on the forehead.

"Let's just enjoy this party ok? Let's not let our worries get the better of us," Rainbow Dash continued, as she saw her marefriend began to blush a little bit.

"Heehee, uh... if you, um, say so..." Fluttershy muttered, bringing a small laugh to the cyan pony's face. With her free hoof, Rainbow Dash slowly knocked at the door. Fluttershy still seemed a little flustered, so Rainbow decided to take the chance to quickly rub noses with her. This only caused Fluttershy's blush to get brighter.

"Awww, you're so cute when you're flustered like that," commented Rainbow Dash, to which Fluttershy responded by hiding her face with her mane. The rainbow-maned Pegasus scrunched up her nose, trying hard to not burst into a loud laughing fit.

The door began to open, and behind it, was none other than Rarity.

"Oh, hello Rainbow Dash & Fluttershy!" greeted Rarity, as she looked very pleased to see them. Rainbow Dash gave a quick nod.

"Hello Rarity," said Rainbow Dash, turning her head around to look at Fluttershy, who was still trying to calm herself down. Rainbow gently patted Fluttershy on the back. "Hey, Shy? Rarity's at the door." Fluttershy's head moved upwards, as she began to move her mane out of the way of her eyes. Her blushing had calmed down now. Looking at Rarity, she flashed a big smile.

"Hi Rarity! Nice to see you!" sang Fluttershy. Rarity winked at the yellow pony, as she gave a small bow.

"It's a pleasure to see you too, Fluttershy darling," replied Rarity, who calmly walked away from the door, to allow the two ponies in front of her to come in. She held the door open, as the two entered the building.

"Thanks Rarity," said Rainbow Dash, slowly pulling her hoof away from Fluttershy's. The yellow pony was slightly puzzled by the sudden loss of contact with her special somepony, but decided not to say anything about it. At least, not for now anyway.

"Thank you very much, Rarity," responded Fluttershy, as she continued to smile at the fashion-loving unicorn. Rarity couldn't help but close her eyes and return the smile.

"It is my pleasure to help you, Fluttershy," admitted Rarity. After the two ponies were inside, Rarity calmly closed the door behind them. Fluttershy looked in awe, as she stared at everything that was in front of her. Mr & Mrs Cake appeared to be making something in the kitchen, it looked like cakes or cookies of some kind. Applejack was busy filling up the barrel of her homemade apple cider that she'd brought along to the party. The Cake twins were running around and chasing each other, while Pinkie Pie was putting the finishing touches on all the decorations. Twilight was busy reading a book by the fireplace, with Spike sleeping next to her. All of their parents were busy chatting to each other in the dining room.

Rainbow Dash found what looked like a large, soft and very red sofa stood in the middle of the living room. Rainbow instantly ran up to it and jumped onto it. She patted on a spot to the left of her, telling Fluttershy to sit next to her. Fluttershy noticed the future-Wonderbolt's actions, and eagerly responded by sitting next to her. Rarity followed, sitting to the right of Rainbow Dash.

"So, tell me you two. What have you been up to lately?" Rarity asked, catching Rainbow Dash off-guard. She didn't expect Rarity to be asking questions like that already. They'd literally only just entered the place. Luckily, Fluttershy was able to speak for her.

"Well, Rainbow was helping me with my animals yesterday, which saved me some time," Fluttershy explained, to which Rainbow Dash's eyes began to get bigger.

"Yeah, and that rabbit of yours tripped me up into a puddle of mud!" Rainbow Dash added, a angry frown on her smile. Rarity put a hoof to her mouth, trying hard not to laugh. However, this was not an easy thing to do, as a quick chuckle erupted from her mouth. Rainbow Dash instantly turned to Rarity. However, she didn't say anything.

"Wow, sounds like Angel has some sort of hatred towards you," concluded Rarity, as Rainbow Dash gave a nod.

"That's kinda what I've been thinking too..." Rainbow Dash added, feeling anger burn up within her, "I don't get why he doesn't like me. I've tried being nice to him so much, but I just don't think he'll change." Fluttershy put a hoof on Rainbow's shoulder.

"Angel might just have some... trust issues with you," said Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash's ears went up, as she now focused her gaze on the yellow pony. Deep down, she was furious. But, she couldn't get too mad at Fluttershy, she didn't want to hurt her.

"Trust issues!? You're not serious!?" Rainbow Dash shouted, trying to sound as calm as she could. The sudden increase in volume made Fluttershy jump a little bit, but Rainbow Dash instantly changed how loud she spoke when she continued. "I know you're trying to be nice here Fluttershy, but I'm not sure if its anything to do with trust. I just don't think he likes me."

Fluttershy shrugged her shoulders, unsure of what she could say next. In the end, she decided it was best not to question Rainbow's comment.

"I have tried to tell him many times, Dashie. You know that," Fluttershy admitted, making Rainbow silently reply, "I know." The timid pony removed her hoof from Rainbow Dash, and rubbed her right foreleg with it. "I really want you both to get along." Rainbow Dash knew Fluttershy was telling the truth.

"I... I do know that Shy. I know you're trying hard with it too..." Rainbow Dash agreed, patting her hooves together, "I just don't think that Angel will change though." Fluttershy's face dropped into a frown, as she thought about the idea of her best pony friend and her best animal friend never getting along. Unfortunately, it seemed like it was the reality of the situation.

Rarity got up from the sofa, resulting in Rainbow Dash looking over. "Uhh, Rarity? Where are you going?" Dash asked, wearing a confused frown on her face. The white pony did not hesitate in her reply.

"I'm going over to the punch stand, Rainbow dear," Rarity replied, pointing her head towards the small table, which held the many snacks and drinks for the party on it. Rainbow Dash stared, as she saw Applejack crawling up from underneath the table.

"Ok, ah've set up the new supply of the apple cider!" Applejack exclaimed, in her usual Texan accent. Rainbow Dash felt a rush of excitement go through her. If there was anything that Rainbow Dash loved more than flying (but not more than Fluttershy, as she is far too precious to her) - it was apple cider.

"Apple cider? APPLE CIDER!?" squealed Rainbow Dash, as she excitedly flew over to the small table by the kitchen, while she began jumping up and down on the ground. Applejack tipped her hat up, as she noticed the cyan Pegasus smiling with starry eyes.

"Wow, are ya really that excited about mah apple cider, sugarcube?" Applejack asked, grabbing a nearby wine glass. Rainbow Dash nodded her head frantically.

"Yes! YES! I want some! NOW!" Rainbow Dash replied, her speech getting quicker and quicker. Applejack rolled her eyes, as she felt that Rainbow Dash was beginning to act like a little child who saw what he wanted in a toy store, then would keep on about it.

"Ok, ok, I'll pour ya some out now..." said Applejack, to which Rainbow Dash's smile only grew bigger. Before she turned the barrel's tap on, however, Applejack quickly added, "Just don't drink too much, ok? We don't want ya'll throwing up on the ground like a squirrel with a serious case of the blue flu!"

Rainbow Dash waited eagerly for Applejack to finish pouring out the drink, as she could hardly wait to slurp it all up. After 20 seconds (although it felt like 10 minutes to Rainbow Dash), Applejack finished pouring out the apple cider into the wine glass. She handed it to Rainbow Dash, who almost instantly after taking it began to drink from it. "Here ya go-"

"Thanks Jack!" joked Rainbow Dash, as she raised the glass to her mouth. The taste of sweet apples began to fill her taste buds. Applejack just watched as the rainbow-maned pony was showing no signs of slowing down. In about 10 seconds flat, the glass was completely empty. Applejack just stared with wide eyes at the glass, which had been almost filled up to the top with an orange-coloured liquid a few moments ago. Applejack pulled her hat over her face, as she shook it slowly.

"Seriously Dash, was that really necessary?" Applejack commented, while Rainbow Dash was already reaching for the tap to refill the glass.

"Oh... oh THAT was necessary alright AJ. It was very necessary," Rainbow Dash replied. Fluttershy looked over the back of the sofa, to notice her special pony drinking glass after glass of cider, even though Applejack had told her not to. Even Rarity watched in shock as Rainbow Dash was guzzling down the cider.

"Dash, ya'll are gonna make mah barrel's tap run dry again if ya keep drinking like that..." AJ moaned, noticing how Rainbow Dash tried to reach the already only half-full barrel. Out of desperation to stop her, Applejack slapped Rainbow's hoof away, to which Rainbow Dash pulled it back without hesitation. The cyan Pegasus just stared in horror at the cowgirl pony, who looked very unamused.

"What did ah I say sugarcube?" Applejack asked, feeling herself getting annoyed quickly. Rainbow Dash frowned, while she looked down in shame. Applejack softened her expression as she saw Rainbow slowly backing away. Rarity decided to have her own say in the conversation.

"That must be at least your fourth glass already dear!" Rarity commented, only making Rainbow Dash feel worse.

"I'm, I'm sorry AJ..." Rainbow Dash apologized, feeling sad, "I just really love your cider, ok? It drives me nuts." Applejack managed a small smile.

"I know that Rainbow Dash, but still. You should at least listen to me when ah say not to drink too much," Applejack responded, somewhat feeling sorry for the rainbow-maned pony now. She knew that Rainbow Dash loved her cider, she knew that. But, it was the fact that if Rainbow got herself drunk, how would she get home? How would Fluttershy cope with her? After all, seeing as the two were dating, it would only make matters worse.

Twilight put her book down and began to walk up to the upset Rainbow Dash. "Applejack's right, Dash. You know you shouldn't drink too much," Twilight agreed, causing Rainbow to slowly nod. "Besides, you can't expect Fluttershy to be able to take care of you if you get too drunk. She works hard enough as it is." Rainbow Dash turned her head to Fluttershy, who looked worried. Rainbow began to walk towards the timid mare, as she planted a quick kiss on her forehead. Rainbow Dash put an arm around Shy's neck.

"I think I have an alcohol problem..." Rainbow Dash confessed, causing the yellow pony to giggle. Fluttershy continued to look at the pony, who's face was already beginning to go red, although it could have been because of the cider.

"Heehee, I think we're all aware of that, Dashie..." laughed Fluttershy, which caused a smile to grow onto Rainbow's face. Soon, all five of them burst into laughter, as Pinkie and her pet Gummy began to walk into the living room.

"What's so funny guys?" Pinkie exclaimed, unsure of what was happening. Rarity walked up to the pink party pony, and whispered into her ear.

"We're talking about Dash's 'problem' with AJ's cider..." Rarity muttered, to which Pinkie Pie too began to start laughing. However, Pinkie's giggling started before she even backed away from the white pony, causing a small bit of pain to go through her ears.

"BAH HA HA! That is like SOOO, 100% true!!!" Pinkie Pie yelled, her laughing getting more and more extreme. Everyone in the room, excluding Rarity, rolled their eyes. After all, Pinkie Pie WAS the definition of 'over-dramatic'.

"Ok everyone, let's just enjoy ourselves tonight!" Twilight announced, grabbing an empty wine glass with her hoof and raising it into the air, "After all, it IS Friendship Day - a day where best friends get together and celebrate their friendship!!!" Everyone began to cheer as Twilight finished her toast.

Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy smiled at each other for a moment, while they stared into each other's eyes.

"Let's have a great night, eh Flutters?" Rainbow Dash said, giving a wink. Fluttershy winked back, as she gently nudged her face into Rainbow's.

"Yeah, let's do that," Fluttershy replied, as she got up from the sofa and walked around to come face-to-face with Rainbow Dash. Fluttershy wrapped her forelegs around Rainbow Dash, as she rested her head on Dash's shoulder. Rainbow Dash responded by putting her forelegs around Shy's back, giving her a gentle hug.

"I love you, Fluttershy..." Rainbow Dash whispered. Fluttershy felt a small pink blush form onto her face.

"I love you too, Dashie," replied Fluttershy, as she embraced the cyan Pegasus without any hesitation.

Rarity and AJ looked at the two ponies hugging in front of them, smiles both appearing on their faces.

"Awww, it is rather sweet to see them like that, isn't it AJ dear?" Rarity asked, turning her head to the cowgirl pony. Applejack nodded, as she put a hoof to her hat and carefully took it off from her head.

"Yeah, seeing them two together certainly is sweet," Applejack responded, holding her hat with both hooves. Both Applejack & Rarity continued to look on as the two ponies in front of them made it clear that they really did love each other.

----

2 hours later...

The party continued to be in full-swing. Pinkie danced the night away like there was no tomorrow, as Gummy was also doing the exact same (despite the fact that he never usually did anything). Twilight had continued reading her book, and Spike had finally awoken from his slumber. Rarity was busy styling her hair in the bathroom mirror upstairs, while Applejack decided to take a quick nap. The parents still remained in the dining room.

Fluttershy was sat back on the sofa, patting her hooves together. A toilet flush went off, and the sound of running water was heard. Fluttershy's ears perked up, as she looked around to see Rainbow Dash, exiting from the downstairs bathroom (which only contained a toilet and a sink, unlike upstairs where there was also a shower and a bath).

Rainbow Dash's movement was all over the place, as she swung from one side to the other. Her face was as red as a tomato. Fluttershy stared at Rainbow Dash, wearing an expression of worry on her face.

"Rainbow Dash! Rainbow Dash!" Fluttershy called out to the drowsy blue pony in front of her, as she got up from the chair and trotted over to her. She held her up with both of her hooves. Rainbow Dash wiped her eyes with her hooves, then looked to the right of her, only to see Fluttershy holding her up. When she spoke, her speech went from easy to understand, to not making any sense whatsoever.

"Hey, Fluttershy! *hick* How you *hick* doing?" Rainbow Dash purred, a small amount of saliva dripping from her mouth. Fluttershy grimaced at the sight of the saliva, as it fell onto the floor. It was clear that the alcohol had gotten to Rainbow's head.

"I'm, uhh.... ok?" Fluttershy replied, unsure of how to react. Rainbow Dash tried to walk the two of them over to the drinks & snacks table, but her legs were way too wobbly to allow her to. Luckily, Fluttershy was there to catch her. "Oh Dash, please don't drink no more. You've had 7 glasses as it is. You're gonna make yourself ill." Fluttershy felt herself beginning to panic slightly at Rainbow Dash. She was beginning to feel scared about what would happen if Dash drunk any more cider. The thought of Rainbow Dash puking on the floor made Fluttershy feel a little queasy.

"We should, *hick* we should dance... Let's dance!" Rainbow Dash cheered, waving her forelegs in the air. Fluttershy bit her lip, as she was unsure of how to react to this.

'Oh my, Dash has completely lost her mind,' thought Fluttershy, while Rainbow Dash continued her horrible attempt at dancing while drunk. However, Shy felt her own mind slipping slightly, but she couldn't understand why. 'But, if I'm really worried about Dash being drunk, then... then why do I get a tiny feeling that I... like this?' Fluttershy decided to shake off the thoughts, trying her best to not think 'dirty'.

"Dash, you need to sit down. Walking around isn't going to help you..." Fluttershy said in a shy voice, although it seemed to her as if Rainbow Dash was just ignoring her.

"Naw, sitting around is for losers Shy," Rainbow Dash claimed, while she continued to hiccup continuously, "I know you're *hick* not a loser... You're *hick* far from that." Fluttershy managed a small smile at being told that by her best friend that she wasn't a loser in any way. Although Rainbow Dash was drunk, the timid mare knew that the cyan Pegasus would mean that when she wasn't drunk as well. Then suddenly, Rainbow Dash asked an odd question.

"You know what *hick* you are, Fluttershy?" Rainbow Dash wondered, leaving Fluttershy to look at her with big, confused eyes. Her mouth also began to open. Fluttershy gulped, as she quietly spoke.

"Uhh, um... no? What, uh... am I?" Fluttershy shyly asked, shaking slightly. Then, without warning, Fluttershy felt her back hooves moving backwards. She looked back, only to notice that she was being taken to the sofa. She turned her gaze back to Rainbow Dash, who held her tightly. "Wuh-whoa!!!!" Fluttershy screamed, as she felt herself fall back onto the sofa. Rainbow's wings instantly opened up.

The yellow pony felt her breathing pace quicken, as a blush began to appear. However, instead of a pale pink blush, it was a bright red one instead. Fluttershy stared at Rainbow's face, as the rainbow-maned pony began to lick her lips. 'Oh dear, oh dear, what is she doing to me?' Fluttershy panicked in her head, not knowing how to feel about the situation. Suddenly, she felt a small tingling sensation rush through her wings. Fluttershy looked at her wings, noticing that they there ever-so slowly trying to flutter up. Fluttershy gulped again, only slightly harder this time.

'Come on Fluttershy, stay strong. Don't let Dash's actions get the better of you...' Fluttershy told herself, as she felt herself beginning to somehow, actually like this attention she was being given. She knew that she did have her few dreams about Rainbow Dash, where the two of them would be enjoying a 'special' moment together, but none of them involved Dash being drunk, or them two being at a party with other ponies around.

Fluttershy heard the sound of hoofsteps on the floor. Her ears perked up, as she was pretty sure that she saw a purple mane walking down the stairs. It was hard to tell, seeing as Rainbow Dash being right in front of her (while her wings were out) blocked out most of her sight. Then, she heard some other hoofsteps walk into the room.

"Was that Fluttershy?" a pony in the dining room asked, although no answer was heard. Fluttershy's heart dropped. She felt herself beginning to shake even more. 'Oh no, my mom and dad are gonna walk in here any moment now...' Fluttershy thought, her panic increasing with each passing second.

"Fluttershy?" another pony called out, which only made Shy's worry increase further. Now, Fluttershy knew that something needed to be done. She needed to act fast.

The yellow pony tried to push Rainbow Dash off of her, but it seemed that the cyan Pegasus was a lot heavier than she thought. "Ugh, D-dash... pl-please.... st-stop...." Fluttershy cried, feeling herself almost beginning to cry. Rainbow Dash began to lean in even more closer to the timid mare's face. Fluttershy's breathing became even faster, as Dash's lips neared her own.

"No, no Fluttershy. *hick* I don't wanna." Rainbow Dash told her. Fluttershy was pretty sure that she could hear Rarity's voice in the distance. In fact, she was fairly certain she could hear Applejack's too.

"Where have Dash & Shy gone?" Rarity asked the cowgirl pony, who shrugged her shoulders as she wore a puzzled expression on her face.

"Now how should ah know that?" Applejack replied, unsure of what else to say. But then, within the corners of their eyes, they saw the large red sofa...

"Why, why are you... d-doing this?" Fluttershy questioned, feeling scared and weak. Before she forgot, she quickly added, "What...am I?" At this moment, Rainbow Dash was about 3 inches away from her now. Her breath stunk of apple cider.

"I... *hick* I love you, Fluttershy..." Rainbow Dash said softly, staring right into Fluttershy's eyes. She put a hoof under Shy's chin, to lift her head up a little bit. Fluttershy looked at Rainbow Dash, now feeling distressed at the whole situation.

"...and, and *hick* you're... you're sexy." Rainbow Dash finished her comment, as her lips immediately jumped onto Fluttershy's. The timid mare's eyes widened, as she tried to fight her way out of the kiss. Fluttershy's back-legs were constantly kicking, trying to remove the rainbow-maned pony from her.

But then, Fluttershy's mind went blank. Fluttershy stopped trying to fight away. That feeling on panic, fear and distress... it was gone. Just like that. Within a matter of seconds. Rainbow Dash adjusted the angle of her head, somewhat altering her kiss. Instead of being all sloppy, the kiss was now much more passionate. Fluttershy, no longer being able to resist the urge, responded to the sudden kiss, now beginning to enjoy it. She wrapped her forelegs tightly around Rainbow's neck.

Rarity and Applejack turned their heads towards the sofa. Their jaws dropped, while their eyes grew as big as footballs. They couldn't believe their own eyes. They both turned to each other, then back to the scene.

"Hey guys, what's up?" Twilight asked, looking at Rarity & Applejack with a puzzled expression. She averted her gaze from them both, to notice what two of her other friends were doing. Twilight almost instantly had the same reaction: wide eyes, and her mouth open in shock.

"Hello everypony! What we all looking aaaaa....." Pinkie Pie walked into the living room, just staring with starry eyes at what she was seeing. Two of her bestest friends... Kissing, on the sofa. "Oh my, goodness!" Pinkie shrieked, jumping up and down in excitement. It was at that moment, that Mr. & Mrs. Shy, along with Rainbow Blaze & Raindrop entered the room. All four of them were hearing all of the commotion.

"What's going on here?" Rainbow Blaze announced, as he noticed the expressions of four of the Mane Six. None of those four were Rainbow Dash.

"Where's Fluttershy?" Mrs. Shy asked, feeling slightly uneasy. Twilight pointed a hoof to the sofa. Shy's and Dash's parents both stared, all of them feeling alarmed at the situation.

"Uhhh, I think we... um, found your daughters..." Twilight explained, still pointing to the large red sofa. Everyone was silent. Quiet noises could be heard. The noises sounded like those of two ponies... kissing?

Rainbow's parents walked around the right side of the sofa, while Fluttershy's parents walked around the left side. As soon as they were facing the opposite side of the sofa, they all began to see what the others were seeing. Mrs. Shy put a hoof to her mouth, as a pale blush formed on her cheeks. Raindrop just stared in complete disbelief, as she constantly turned her head from facing her husband, to her own daughter.

Fluttershy felt a sense of calmness flood through her, as she decided to stop fighting her wings. Without any hesitation, her wings opened up fully. She could feel Rainbow ever so softly licking her lips, as the kiss continued. Even though Dash might have been drunk, Fluttershy was still enjoying this. More than she expected as well.

"Mmmm, Dash...." Fluttershy mumbled, her mind drifting off into it's own little world. She imagined the two of them lying in her bed. The sky was crystal clear, as Luna's moon provided light within the room. Shy even imagined birds singing quietly, which was odd - seeing as birds usually sleep during the day. Fluttershy found herself beginning to really get into this: whenever she felt like Rainbow Dash was trying to pull away, Fluttershy would instantly pull her back. Fluttershy didn't want this moment to end.

The yellow pony felt her cheeks starting to burn, which indicated to her that she must have been blushing so hard at this moment. This moment seemed so perfect. Even if this made her feel slightly dirty inside, to Fluttershy - this felt so right. It was clear that Fluttershy, who was usually very shy and timid, was certainly not so shy tonight...

2 minutes later...

After two minutes of slow, calming, relaxing, passionate and even somewhat sloppy kissing, Fluttershy finally began to pull herself away from the cyan Pegasus. As their lips disconnected, the timid mare began to take deep breaths. She opened her eyes, as she stared at the blue pony which lay on top of her. Rainbow Dash also began to open her eyes. For a moment, neither of them said anything. They began to stare into each other's eyes, as Shy began to open her mouth.

"That... pant... was... pant... a-amazing..." Fluttershy muttered, as Rainbow Dash gave a big smile. The rainbow-maned pony looked at her for a moment, as she just stared at her stomach breathing in and out like she had just run a marathon or something.

Fluttershy noticed that Rainbow's face was completely red. She wasn't sure if it was because of the alcohol, the kissing, or both. Whatever the answer may be, Fluttershy wasn't really too bothered for the time being. Suddenly, Rainbow Dash felt something flowing through the inside of her forehead.

"Arrggghhh!" Rainbow Dash groaned in pain, as she squeezed her eyes shut. She put a hoof to her forehead, not moving it. Fluttershy began to give Rainbow Dash a confused look, as she was unsure of what was happening.

"Uhh, R-rainbow Dash? You ok?" Fluttershy asked, to which Rainbow Dash responded by giving a slow nod. She continued to rub her forehead.

"Eeh, I think so..." Rainbow Dash replied, still keeping her head hung low for the time being. Then, she decided to begin slowly opening her eyes again. When she opened them, her jaw dropped. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. Rainbow Dash saw Fluttershy lying underneath her, giving a big smile. Rainbow Dash rubbed her eyes, then looked again. She wasn't seeing things.

Rainbow Dash took a quick look down, to notice how she was completely led on top of the yellow pony. She felt a weird feeling going through her wings. She touched them, only to feel them being as hard as a rock. This only made Rainbow's eyes widen more.

"Rainbow Dash?" Fluttershy murmured, concerned of how weird her usually calm pony friend was acting. Rainbow Dash continued to look at Fluttershy for a moment longer, until she heard someone cough. Her ears twitched up, and she instantly turned her head around. Then, reality began to sink in.

Rainbow Dash was in total shock. In front of her, stood Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle, Rarity & Applejack - all watching her. Her friends, were watching her? While she was on top of Fluttershy? Did they... just kiss? Or was it... something more..? All these questions began to go through Rainbow Dash's mind. That wasn't the worst of her problems either. The cyan Pegasus looked to the left and right of her, only to see her own parents, as well as Fluttershy's, also staring at her. Rainbow Dash gulped hard, as she began to feel herself drop into hangover mode.

"Oh no, oh no... This, ugh... can't be happening..." Rainbow Dash murmured, instantly standing up from her led-down position on Fluttershy. The yellow pony still had her eyes fixed on Rainbow Dash, as she still lay innocently on the sofa. Then, she too began to notice how all eyes were on both Dash, and her.

Fluttershy now felt panic beginning to sink back in again, as she felt herself shaking slightly. She wanted to jump up and cuddle Rainbow Dash, but she resisted it. "R-rainbow Dash?" Fluttershy called out to the blue pony, who looked at her in fear. Rainbow Dash didn't say a word, as she had no clue on what to say. Her whole world was just spinning. What the hay had just happened!?

"Did we.... uh.... you know, k-kiss...?" Fluttershy stuttered, as she began to feel scared about what her friends might be thinking. Rainbow Dash thought carefully in her head, then gave a small nod.

"Eeyup, we sure did..." Rainbow Dash replied, while she felt some odd feeling in her stomach. Rainbow gulped again, as this meant only one thing.

"Oh no, oh Celestia no..." Rainbow Dash whispered to herself, as she rushed for the door. Fluttershy jumped up from the sofa, and began to follow her, as she noticed how Rainbow Dash was beginning to look a little queasy.

"Dashie, are you ok?" Fluttershy asked, feeling her shaking grow stronger. Rainbow Dash put a hoof on Fluttershy's shoulder, as she opened the front door with her other hoof. She shook her head violently.

"No, no... I don't feel so good," Rainbow Dash confessed, putting the hoof she opened the door with to her mouth. Fluttershy began to notice the redness from Dash's face turn green. Sickly green.

"Rainbow, wait!" Fluttershy called out to the cyan Pegasus, who was instantly running out of the door.

"I can't Shy, I'm sorry!" Rainbow Dash screamed, as she flew off into the distance. Fluttershy just watched, as her friend just disappeared from her view. Rarity rushed up to Fluttershy, as the yellow pony just stood by the door.

"Fluttershy dear! You alright?" Rarity asked, to which Fluttershy bit her lip and looked at her in fear.

"You.... uh... saw... all that, d-didn't you..?" Fluttershy replied sheepishly, as Rarity gave a sad nod. Fluttershy hid her face from behind her mane, as she realized what she'd just done. She quickly took a quick glance at her parents, who just stared at her in shock. Fluttershy felt her legs give up from underneath her, as she began to crawl into a ball on the floor.

"Oh dear... what have I done?" Fluttershy murmured to herself, as she softly cried into her hooves. Within the distance, she heard the sound of a pony puking. Fluttershy feared that it was Rainbow Dash, which unfortunately, it was.....

Back to reality...

After what felt like over an hour of kicking pieces of cloud into the air, Rainbow Dash finally got fed up. She opened up her wings slowly, and hopped off of the cloud. As soon as her hooves left the clouds, she began to fly towards Mount Pony, one of the tallest mountains in the whole of Equestria. As she flew, she felt something behind her eyes trying to escape. Rainbow Dash closed her eyes tightly, trying to hold in all of the tears that tried to make their way out.

However, the force of the tears were just too strong for her to handle. One by one, the tears began to creep through her eyelids. Rainbow Dash began to sob to herself, no longer able to hold her emotions inside of her. She felt so embarrassed, so heartbroken, so upset.... She couldn't believe what she'd done.

"What were you thinking Dash? What part of 'kissing Fluttershy passionately in front of everyone' sounded like a good idea to you!?" Rainbow Dash shouted at herself, as she increased her speed. In her own head, she was beginning to beat herself up over the whole incident. "You should be ashamed of yourself Rainbow Dash: you disobeyed Applejack's orders, you openly kissed Fluttershy in front of all your friends, and even your own parents!!! What are you doing with yourself!?"

Rainbow Dash's voice became louder and louder, as she felt more and more tears streaming down her face. "Also, since when did you ever start crying like this? Only babies cry! Are you a baby or something?" Rainbow Dash screamed, not caring if any ponies below heard her. At this specific point, Rainbow Dash didn't care about anyone. To her, she was nothing but a failure.

"That night... you shouted at Fluttershy.... She isn't the one with the problems: YOU ARE!!!" growled a now very angry Rainbow Dash, as she noticed that she was nearing the mountain. She decided to alter her direction, and flew straight down. She didn't slow down as she got closer to the ground, however. Instead, she made herself fly faster. At this point, Rainbow's wings were beginning to hurt, seeing as she was putting so much strain on them at this point. But, she shook the pain away. "Don't take the easy option out, just do what needs to done, you worthless baby!"

Rainbow Dash used every ounce of speed left inside her already weakening body, to create a Sonic Rainboom. She crash-landed, hard into the ground while a massive, rainbow-coloured cloud explosion appeared from all around here. The explosion seemed to keep going further and further up into the air.

Once the cloud began to fade, Rainbow Dash stayed where she landed for a moment, as she began to breathe heavily. After a moment of being stood in the small crater that she had created in the ground, she slowly rose up, and began to stand on all four legs. Rainbow Dash just focused her eyes on what was in front of her; the cliff of the mountain. She leisurely began to walk up to the cliff, as her mind was starting to throb like a rock had been thrown at her head.

Rainbow Dash rubbed her mouth with one hoof, to which a small amount of green-ish liquid covered her hoof. Rainbow just brushed her hoof along the ground, not wanting to be made to rethink of her 'moment' a few hours ago. Before she knew it, she was stood right on the edge of Mount Pony. Rainbow Dash looked at the view in front of her, managing a small smile, which sadly only lasted a few seconds.

"Ahhh, Ponyville looks so amazing from this height..." Rainbow pondered, only being reminded of thoughts of her lover, while her rainbow mane blew wildly in the wind. Rainbow let out a small sigh, crying a few more tears into her hoof. "Although, nothing is as amazing, or beautiful, as.... Fluttershy..." Rainbow Dash felt her legs give out, as she fell to the floor.

She put her forelegs in front of her face, as she sobbed heavily into them. Dash felt so weak, so defenceless. But, for some reason, she felt like she'd been stabbed in her heart. Perhaps because she was in such a state, her mind was telling her body that it was going through agonizing pain.

"I give up! I can't take this anymore!" Rainbow Dash screamed at the top of her lungs, which made her throat hurt a little bit because it felt very dry. The tears came pouring out of Rainbow's eyes, as if they were two small waterfalls of water. Dash had never cried that much before, especially not like this.

"Why do I feel like this? Why do I feel so hurt? So heartbroken? Why!?" Rainbow Dash moaned, unsure of how to answer her questions. For some strange reason, she just felt like she was, nothing. Like she meant nothing...

Rainbow Dash continued to cry her eyes out, until she heard a small voice calling out for her. A familiar voice, which she knew could only come from one pony...

"Rainbow Dash? Rainbow Dash!" Fluttershy cried out, as she ran towards the depressed cyan Pegasus.

Please don't be sad, Dashie

"Rainbow Dash!? Are you ok?" Fluttershy sobbed, as she began to feel her own eyes dripping water. Rainbow Dash just stayed where she lay, not responding to Fluttershy. However, this didn't stop the yellow pony from continuing to run towards her.

"Go away Shy. Please..." Rainbow Dash muttered. Fluttershy stopped where she stood, her mouth opening wide as she tried to get over what Rainbow Dash had just said to her.

"Wha... what did you say?" Fluttershy asked, hoping that the cyan Pegasus was only joking. Sadly, this proved not to be the case.

"I said, go away, Fluttershy," repeated Rainbow Dash, with slight annoyance in her voice. Fluttershy shook her head, not wanting to listen to what she was being told.

"N-no, no. No, I don't wanna go Rainbow..." Fluttershy told the rainbow-maned pony who lay on the ground in front of her. Fluttershy continued to rush towards her friend, feeling extremely distraught about her. Fluttershy instantly dropped onto the ground, so that she was level with Rainbow Dash. She began to slowly caress her rainbow mane, but Rainbow just pushed her hoof away.

"Please Shy, just go.... I want to be alone..." Rainbow Dash grumbled, still crying lightly into her forelegs. Fluttershy started shaking, becoming really scared about her friend. She crawled right up next to Rainbow Dash, nuzzling her face into her neck. Rainbow Dash shivered slightly at the sudden contact, but she didn't force Fluttershy off.

"Rainbow, please tell me... what's up?" Fluttershy complained, feeling herself want to burst into full-on tears, "Please Dashie, I'm really scared about you... You seem really upset, and... I-I don't l-like it..." Rainbow Dash winced, feeling herself becoming more and more distressed at the situation.

'Come on Rainbow Dash, you're gonna have to speak to her,' Rainbow Dash told herself, trying her best to calm herself down, 'She's really worried about ya. Seriously, just do it, don't hide your feelings from her like this. You... you can trust her.' The cyan Pegasus was really beginning to panic. Rainbow Dash let out a big sigh, then moved her head up from her forelegs. She turned her head to face Fluttershy. The yellow pony noticed how red Dash's eyes were. Fluttershy cringed slightly, unsure of how to feel. Rainbow Dash sniffed, as she began to speak.

"Listen, Fluttershy..." Rainbow Dash began. Fluttershy instantly leaned in closer, to hear everything her marefriend had to say. "I've uh, I've been having a bit of a, rough time... these past few hours. I've been crying my eyes out, as you can probably see..." Rainbow Dash pointed to her blood-shot eyes, to which Fluttershy's shaking increased. She put a foreleg around Rainbow Dash, as said pony continued her conversation.

"Sooo, I've been trying to get over my little 'incident' at the party... You know, me getting seriously drunk, and then kissing you in front of everyone." Fluttershy nodded, taking every word in. "And... I will admit, I feel really embarrassed about it - I really do.... I wish I could go back and stop that from happening..." The two ponies were getting completely soaked in the rain. Fluttershy wasn't really one who liked getting wet. But, Rainbow Dash instantly opened up one of her wings and put them above Shy's head. The timid mare looked at the cyan Pegasus with big eyes, to which she responded by giving a small, but also sad smile. Fluttershy tried to manage a smile of her own, but failed miserably.

"Anyway, while I've been, regretting doing what I did at the party, it's made me think of many other things I've done in the past which I, uh... regret," Rainbow Dash continued, to which Fluttershy found herself getting more scared at each sentence that she heard. She'd never heard Rainbow Dash speak to her about things like this before, especially not with her thinking those things.

"Rainbow..." Fluttershy tried to speak, but Rainbow Dash cut her off. She put a hoof to her mouth, as she spoke softly.

"Fluttershy, it's not your fault... It's not..." Rainbow Dash reassured the shy pony, although Fluttershy still continued to panic, "But, and I guess this is where it gets dark... but - I'm beginning to, *sniff* uhh, ummm *sniff* have... d-d-doubts..." Rainbow Dash felt the urge to rub her eyes into her forelegs again, but Fluttershy noticed this and quickly used her own hoof to wipe away the tears from her lover's depressed, magenta-coloured eyes.

"Dash, please, oh please don't say this... I'm begging you, no..." Fluttershy wept, feeling herself starting to be unable to hold in her sadness. Rainbow Dash wrapped a foreleg around Fluttershy, holding her tight. She didn't want to say what was on her mind, but she knew that she had to.

"I'm, I'm really sorry Flutters. I really, truly am..." Rainbow Dash explained, to which finally broke Fluttershy. The yellow pony now began to sob into the cyan pony's neck. Rainbow Dash felt a fresh batch of tears of her own, trying to make their way through her eyelids. Unfortunately, she just couldn't hold them in. Rainbow Dash leaned into Shy's large, fluffy pink mane, using it as a tissue to cry into.

Both ponies lay near the cliff of Mount Pony, both crying their eyes out. Not because they wanted to, but because they had to. For a few minutes, neither of them spoke. Apart from their sobbing, there was complete silence between the two ponies. Even when either of them wanted to speak, all that came out of their mouths was just a breathe of air, no words.

After about 10 minutes of non-stop crying, Rainbow Dash managed to continue speaking, although she had to stop constantly and have breaks - so that she could try and stop more tears from coming out of her eyes.

"I, I just don't know *sniff* why this is, happening to me. *sniff* I don't understand why..." continued Rainbow Dash, as breaking down into tears kept getting harder and harder for her. Something which usually, was very unlikely from her. "But, but... *sigh* it's, uh, been a few weeks now. I've been getting *sniff* these, umm... thoughts. Regrets. Doubts even. They've, uh... been about, me. Me, my life, and what I've done within my life."

Fluttershy gasped in horror, and Rainbow Dash knew why. However, the rainbow-maned pony didn't dare say a word. Instead, she allowed the shy Pegasus to speak.

"These... thoughts, you've been having.... please don't say they've been, horrible ones..?" Fluttershy pleaded, hoping Rainbow Dash wouldn't say the one thing she felt like she couldn't handle hearing. Dash took a deep breath, feeling really worried about speaking now. However, she knew that she'd already gotten too far into the conversation, so she couldn't back out of it now.

"Listen, Fluttershy... I've uh, I've really been thinking some... dark stuff lately..." Rainbow Dash admitted, making Fluttershy eep in fear loudly. Rainbow gulped hard, then continued. "I've been thinking, about... how worth it, is my life? What do I matter in this world? Do I even deserve to be here? *sniff* I just, I don't know what to do with myself... I haven't exactly been the perfect pony." Fluttershy wanted desperately to step in and just tell Rainbow Dash to calm down, and that she'd promise to help her, but she felt like it would just be useless.

"Let's face it Shy: I don't deserve ya. I really don't... And you don't deserve me." Fluttershy couldn't take this anymore. In her head, she had no choice, but to have her own say, on what her opinion was in this conversation.

"Rainbow, please... please don't hurt yourself or, or even worse... Pl-pleaseee, I've been through this myself... You know I have. The last thing I want is for you, for you to suffer, from the exact same thing..." Fluttershy cried, as more tears began to appear from her watery, cyan-coloured eyes. Rainbow held Fluttershy as close as she possibly could, gently rubbing her back.

"I'm sorry Fluttershy, I really am. Honest, I don't wanna feel like this..." Rainbow Dash explained, trying hard not to allow any tears creep from under her eyelids. "But, I really have been thinking, quite badly about myself... Let's think about it: I'm a lazy, dishonest, tomboyish son of a, you know what, who never plays fairly at sports, is always trying to pick fights with others... I don't even deserve to live!" Rainbow Dash's voice increased in volume on her last sentence, as she dug her head as deep into Fluttershy's fluffy, pink mane that she could.

The yellow pony resumed caressing Rainbow Dash's multi-coloured mane, although this time, Rainbow didn't shake Fluttershy's hoof off. Fluttershy felt so hurt by the words she had just heard. 'How could Rainbow think like that?' Fluttershy thought to herself, not sure how someone like Rainbow Dash could think such awful things.

"I just, I just wanna curl up and die - or even worse, jump off of this cliff and fall to my death. That's all I want to do now. I mean nothing, to anyone..." Rainbow Dash claimed, to which somewhat angered Fluttershy. She raised her head from Rainbow's neck, and stared right into her eyes.

"Dashie, you are wrong on that statement. You DO mean something to people, many people in fact..." Fluttershy argued, disagreeing with Rainbow's comment.

"*sniff* Yeah, like who?" Rainbow Dash asked, although it was sort of a silly question.

"Rainbow Dash... your parents, your friends... me. We all care about you. You know that," Fluttershy explained, to which Rainbow Dash shook her head sadly.

"How, how can you care about me Shy!? How can someone as kind as you, give a single damn about me, after what I did to you that night!?" Rainbow Dash yelled, bringing up that night where Fluttershy had self-harmed herself again. Fluttershy jumped when Rainbow Dash spoke loudly, but she didn't let the terrible thoughts of what happened 'that' night, get to her.

"Dashie, I... I know you didn't mean it..." said Fluttershy, although Rainbow Dash thought she was joking at first. However, she knew that deep down, she knew that Fluttershy was telling the truth. "I know you never meant to hurt me, and... and I was silly to think that all of the mean comments that I'd heard from the mean bullies were actually true. I know now, as my psychiatrist said, that I am important, that I'm not a failure. I know I might not be perfect, and things are certainly harder for me than it would be for most other ponies. However, despite that, I should never give up at the first hurdle - I can do anything any other pony can do. Even if it does take me longer, I can do things as good as everypony else...."

Rainbow Dash felt more tears drip from her eyes, although these weren't ones of sadness - they were tears of joy. She understood everything that Fluttershy said, because it was true. Everything she said, was the truth. Fluttershy didn't exactly have it easy: she did have a smaller wingspan and wings and everything, which made a lot of Pegasi stuff much more difficult for her. Even some non-Pegasi stuff wasn't easy either, but, Fluttershy had finally realized - that she can do anything everypony else can. Sure, it may take longer, but nothing is completely impossible for her...

"It's, it's harder for me to speak to you about this because, *sniff* I've been through these same thoughts and emotions as you Dash. Believe me, it's horrible - to live your life in fear, sadness, and just wanting to do whatever it takes to end your life, right at that moment. But, but that's not what you should do, if you encounter any problems in life. Dr. Shrink told me that, I should never be afraid to ask for help... and from now on, I'll ask for help whenever I need it... because, I know I can succeed in life." Fluttershy paused for a moment, turning away from Rainbow Dash for a moment. When she looked back at Dash, her eyes were starry.

"And... and, and I love you... Rainbow Dash. I need you, I need you to be by my side, to help me through thick and thin... I care about you, an awful lot, and that'll never change, no matter what. How I feel for you, is unlike how I feel for any other pony." Fluttershy felt like crying again, but Rainbow Dash wiped her eyes with her hoof. She rolled onto her back, and held Fluttershy's head in her hooves. Rainbow's eyes also began to become starry, as a small red blush started to appear.

"You, you really know how to talk to other ponies, don't ya?" Rainbow Dash explained, making Fluttershy giggle slightly. A pink blush began to appear on her face. "You know Fluttershy, you're right. You really are. No one is perfect, I guess I have to realize that, whether I like it or not... I know things haven't been easy for you, and you don't deserve to have life be difficult for you. You deserve to have the greatest, most calmest, and most happiest life ever. Because, you... you are a good person Shy. My only friend, aside from Gilda, who perhaps I should get into contact again sometime... My only true friend in Flight Camp. I was always there for you, and you were always there for me."

Fluttershy felt her own tears of joy pouring out of her eyes. Fluttershy managed a small smile, which made a smile grow on Rainbow's face. "I care about you an awful lot too Flutters, and that isn't going to change. Not now, not tomorrow, not in a years time, not ever. You mean, so much to me... I don't know what I'd do without ya in my life..." Fluttershy's blush increased.

"We all make mistakes sometimes Dashie, believe me - I've made my own mistakes..." Fluttershy admitted, having a quick vision of ripping out her feathers on her wings, "But, as long as we learn to not dwell on those mistakes, and we move on... then everything will be alright in the end." However, Dash's small began to turn sad again.

"The thing is, Fluttershy, I really can't forgive myself for yelling at you like I did that night. It really haunts me..." Rainbow Dash confessed, which Fluttershy felt a slight sense of worry kick back in again. "I made you feel like ripping the feathers out of your wings was right. It wasn't... Problem is Shy, what upsets me the most isn't the fact that you actually did it - it's the fact that it was because of me that you were doing it... I have these nightmares occasionally, where you actually did, you know... end it..... It's horrible." It made sense to Fluttershy why Rainbow Dash felt so hurt by those events, but the timid mare didn't want it to bother her no more.

"Rainbow, don't hold a grudge against yourself for that night. It's not right - I don't want to see you suffer like this because of it..." Fluttershy told Rainbow Dash. The cyan Pegasus tried to look more calm, although thining about her 'nightmares' probably wasn't the best way of doing so. "Besides, if things get too much for you, I can always give Dr. Shrink a call... He's helped me, Dashie. I don't see why he wouldn't help you." Rainbow felt happiness beginning to return again.

"P-perhaps you're right..." Rainbow Dash agreed, smiling once more. "I guess, I guess that if I feel myself sinking down... I can get the help I need. ...The help you got. The help which allowed you to feel more confident and happier in yourself." Fluttershy began to feel a sense of joy fill her.

"Don't worry Dash, I'll help you through this," Fluttershy vowed, putting a hoof to her heart, "You helped me when I went through this... it's only fair I do the same for you..." Rainbow Dash shook the thoughts of Shy's death away. It was clear that the yellow pony wasn't going to allow her to hurt herself. Something which Rainbow Dash was relieved at.

"...I forgive you for that night Rainbow Dash, because I feel so strongly for you. I know how much I mean to you, especially now. We were alone around pre-school without each other. Not seeing you there, would make me sad. Seeing you there, would make me happy. ...I forgive you, because I've learned to forgive and forget. Even if it isn't easy to do so, it's still something you need to remember to do... I also forgive you because... I, I... I love you." A single tear appeared in Rainbow's left eye.

"I... I love you too, Fluttershy..." Rainbow Dash said softly, as she leaned up into Fluttershy's face, connecting her lips together. Rainbow pulled herself into a sitting position, while still connected to Fluttershy. The yellow pony did the exact same thing. They both held their hooves on each others faces, as they continued to kiss. They both felt their wings shoot open. Occasionally, both of them would moan softly, whenever the kiss got more passionate (which it was near enough, the whole time). Without warning, Rainbow Dash tried to sneak her tongue into Shy's mouth. The timid mare however, gladly accepted the 'visitor'.

Before they knew it, both of them were wrapping their tongues around each other, as they both began to really get into the kiss. After about a minute of being inside Fluttershy's mouth, the yellow pony decided to wriggle her tongue into Dash's mouth. Within no time at all, their tongues were doing the kissing for them again.

Rainbow Dash pulled away quickly, although her lips still hovered over Shy's. Both of them had their eyes half-open, while they breathed each other's air. "Your lips, are sooo soft Shy..." teased Rainbow Dash, to which Fluttershy chuckled quickly. As seductively as her bravery could muster, Fluttershy decided to have her own 'fun' with the rainbow-maned Pegasus.

"I never realized how sweet your lips tasted, Dashie..." whispered Fluttershy in a seductive voice. Rainbow Dash continued to smile, as she noticed how her marefriend was really enjoying this attention. After Fluttershy finished speaking, they connected their lips together once more...

==========

After about 5 minutes of non-stop kissing, the two ponies finally pulled away from each other, while they still held their heads in each other's hooves. Fluttershy & Rainbow Dash both stared into each other's eyes, as they glistened brightly within their own.

"I love you, Flutters... I mean it," Rainbow Dash told Fluttershy, who began to giggle again.

"Well, I... I really love you too, Dashie... And I always will," Fluttershy admitted, as the two still continued to look at each other. After a minute of being lost in each other's eyes, Rainbow Dash removed her hooves from Fluttershy and stood up. She helped the timid mare to get up, as she then kept a hold of one of her hooves. "Thank you, Rainbow Dash..." Fluttershy exclaimed happily, to which Rainbow Dash responded with a wink.

"Not a problem Fluttershy," Rainbow Dash replied, giving the yellow pony a big toothy smile, "I'd do anything for you... anything..." Fluttershy found herself laughing more at her friend's suggestive comment.

"Oh, oh please don't be so 'dirty' Dash..." joked Fluttershy, who actually liked it when Rainbow Dash spoke like 'that'.

The two looked at the beautiful view in front of them - the sight of Ponyville from so high up. Rainbow Dash decided to comment on the view.

"Ponyville looks so beautiful up here..." Rainbow Dash confessed, before quickly adding, "But not as beautiful as you." Fluttershy began to blush even more, as Rainbow Dash smirked at how her marefriend was acting.

"Oh stop it, Dashie. You just like seeing me all flustered..." Fluttershy told Rainbow Dash, laughing away to herself, "Although I'm flattered to be called beautiful."

"But you are beautiful Shy, you truly are," Rainbow Dash continued, "In fact, you're stunning, you're so adorable and cute, you're... you're..." Fluttershy felt like she could see where this was going. She bit her lip, putting on a romantic smile.

"I'm a what, Rainbow Dash?" Fluttershy asked, getting some distinct déjà vu from this situation. After all, something very similar to this had happened at the party, while Dash was drunk.

"You my friend... are not only one very, VERY naughty filly, but you, are also.... awesomely sexy..." Rainbow Dash concluded her statement, giving her own romantic smile.

Fluttershy flung herself towards Rainbow Dash, as she hugged her tightly. "I'm glad I'm with you Rainbow Dash - I feel so, special..." Fluttershy explained, to which Rainbow Dash gave an embarrassed smile.

"My pleasure Shy. As I said, I'd do anything for you," replied Rainbow Dash. After 20 seconds, Fluttershy removed her forelegs from around the cyan pony. She reached into a small bag that she placed on the floor when she came over to see Rainbow Dash when she saw her led on the floor crying. She pulled out two tickets with her mouth, to which Rainbow Dash was somewhat confused about.

"What are THOSE for?" Rainbow Dash asked, puzzled by what she was seeing.

"Well, Rarity said before I came up here that the two of us should enjoy a relaxing spa session after all this," Fluttershy explained, to which Rainbow Dash nodded.

"I would LOVE to go to the Spa with you Fluttershy," Rainbow Dash said, to which Fluttershy smiled, "After all, we probably need a spa trip after the state we got ourselves in." Fluttershy gave an embarrassed chuckle, as she remembered how upset both of them felt a while ago.

"Yeah, I was thinking the same thing too, Dashie..." Fluttershy agreed. Flutterhsy let go of Rainbow Dash's hoof and used both of her hooves to put the small, pale beige bag around her neck. She put the spa tickets back into the bag, as she then re-zipped it back up. Once she did that, she grabbed a hold of Rainbow Dash's hoof again.

"Come on then, let's go meet Rarity by the spa, then we can enjoy ourselves..." Fluttershy told Rainbow Dash, to which the rainbow-maned pony nodded excitedly.

"Yeah, I can't wait to go!" Rainbow Dash admitted, as the two began to make their way down the mountain. She shared one more quick peck on the lips, before they began to both raise into the air together.

"I love you, Dashie," Fluttershy said with a big smile. Rainbow Dash smiled back.

"I love you too, Flutters..." Rainbow Dash responded, as the two turned their eyes away from each other, and began to fly into the air. They flew slowly over to Rarity's spa, where they met Rarity, and got to go in for free (because of the tickets that Fluttershy had been given by the fashion loving pony). Once they arrived inside, they enjoyed a relaxing massage, got a face pedicure, and even enjoyed some quality time in the hot tub together. They had a lot of fun there, and as they made their way home to Fluttershy's cottage and got into Fluttershy's bed, they both decided to go again the very next day. The two of them slept happily together, enjoying each other's warmth...
