"And then You walked in!" Rainbow finished explaining. Twilight and Sunset's mouths were open, showing a perfect view of thier uvula.

"I'm utterly speechless," Sunset uttered. "How did you know I was a lesbian?" Rainbow's mouth twisted into a confused frown.

"A what?" Sunset blinked once before a wave of understanding came over her.

"That's the term for a fillyfooler where I lived for about twelve years give or take a few." Sunset put her hoof on her horn, making sure this wasn't a glorious dream.

"Oh. Well, we were gonna just explain to Twilight, but you walked in so you had to hear it too." Rainbow's left wing rubbed the back of her head.

"Well, to be fair it was all fun and games.... Heh he heh...." Rarity trailed off awkwardly.

"I'll be right there Spike!" Rarity bolted away. Twilight turned to Applejack.

"So," Twilight said, "when were you planning on coming out? I was honestly going to tell you guys yesterday when Spike helped me come to terms that I liked mares, but I was helping Starlight Glimmer move in-"

"STARRY'S LIVING HERE! I'M SO HAPPY!" Pinkie cheered. "STARLIGHT! I'M COMING FOR YOU! DO YOU WANT ANY CAKE!" Pinkie bounced out of the room to find the ex evil overlord of a brainwashed town.

Twilight coughed before picking up where she left off. "-so I didn't. Does your family know?"

"Uh, Bloom an' Mac know. Granny's out in Appleloosa so Ah couldn't tell her when Ah told mah siblin's." Applejack pulled her hat down.

"Ah don't wanna date ya, in all honestly, Ah wanted ta ask Cloudchaser on a date. Maybe we could go on a plate? A plat? A tonic? A platonic? A platonic date?" Applejack pulled her hat down a little.

"I would love to Applejack." Twilight said as AJ left.

"Now Rainbow," Twilight's voice took on a sweet slamming tone. "What was that crack about Sunset and I about?"

"Heh heh.... Oh crap! I have a meeting with Stormbrewer! Bye Twi!" Rainbow, not caring about damage, broke through Twilight's closed window on her right, showering Fluttershy in glass shards, each narrowly missing the shy mare.

"Fluttershy!" Sunset Shimmer cried, rushing over to said mare. "Are you alright?!"

"Yes," Fluttershy said weakly. "None hit me."

"Spike! I need you to take Fluttershy to the castle's infirmary. Get Starlight Glimmer please and shoo away Pinkie!" Twilight called. A muffled 'yes' was heard before Spike arrived in the doorway.

"Fluttershy check!" Spike cooped Fluttershy in his arms. "Wow! She weights barely nothing!" Spike carried Fluttershy away.

"Twilight, I'm here!" Starlight's mane was frazzled, but she was smiling nonetheless.

"Watch the glass, I know you have sensitive hooves," Twilight said. Sunset pouted a little as Starlight looked down.

"Oh! I didn't notice! Silly me!" Starlight giggled. Her giggle sounded like an evil giggle if they existed, but villains don't giggle.

"Oh!" Twilight laughed in return. "Well, I called you here to teach you something about my friends if you want to live here." Twilight's hoof pointed to the broken window.

"Rainbow Dash breaks my windows about two times every week. I spend about three million on replacements a year with my princess discount on it." Twilight smiled before continuing.

"Before I became a princess, it cost five million bits per year to replace my windows." Twilight looked at Starlight as she made a magic jaw and dropped it to the floor. Sunset just chortled and shook her head, and whipped her majestic mane about.

"In the human world, Rainbow ruined lawns not windows." Sunset grinned. "Girl was always too wild...."

"Well, I hope she was never thrown in jail," Starlight said. Sunset's smile grew wider.

"She was thrown in jail. The track team and my friends and I had to chip in to pay her bail. She still owes me five hundred bucks." Sunset said. Starlight made an 'oh' with her mouth.

"Well, Starlight, that's all I wanted to talk to you about. Bye!" Twilight said perkily.

"Sunset, can you help me clean up this glass?"

"Sure thing Twi!"

Many ponies were wondering how Applejack managed to climb onto one of Twilight's castle's low branches.

Applejack herself was wondering if the two ponies she need right now were close.

Applejack was watching the sky, waiting for two streaks. One was Rainbow's sky streak, the other a purple, ice blue, and white streak, know as Cloudchaser's.

"Ah hope this goes right," Applejack said to nopony in peticular. Soon, Cloudchaser's streak shone against the sky, busting clouds.

"Here goes nothin," Applejack took a deep breath.

"CLOUDCHASER?! YA GOT A MINUTE?!" Applejack yelled. Cloudchaser rapidly decended, landing next to the orange mare.

"Yes Applejack?" Cloudchaser cocked her head staring into Applejack's emeralds with her purple mountains majesty colored eyes.

"Ah'm a fillyfooler." Applejack expected the pegasus mare to fly off then and there, but she didn't. She stayed. Applejack shook off the shock and pressed on.

"So Ah was wonderin'...... Would ya like to go an a date with me?" Applejack was expecting to hear a no, put a pair of lips pressed against her own.

"I would love to, Applejack. How about Friday a Eight O' Clock?" Cloudchaser said as they broke the kiss. Applejack only mumbled yes and stared dumbly away.

"Ah'd say it's a date Cloudchaser! Bye!" Applejack said as she snapped out of her daze. Cloudchaser had starting flying away.

Applejack hoped it would work out.

Cloudchaser was an amazing kisser.

Sunset Shimmer say alone on her firey colored canopy bed. She was thinking. Thinking about life.

About light.

About love.

About Twilight for Celestia's plot plug!

Sunset groaned as she levitated her glass of water and pitcher to her. Twilight was in her mind. Sunset knew she held an attraction toward the young princess. She didn't know why.

Why did Twilight and Starlight earlier made her jealous a little?

Sunset knew it was love. She loved Twilight Stella Sparkle. She needed Twilight. It was like if Sunset hadn't met Twilight, she wouldn't be living a full life.

Twilight lives forever now, Sunset. You'll die, leaving Twilight alone. This isn't good. Deattach from her! Stat way from Twilight!

"Hard when you live with her, huh?" a voice said from the doorway. There stood Spike, in all of his baby dragon glory.

"I know you love Twilight. I know you know that Twilight will live forever while you die. Just-" Spike paused before continuing.

"Just be yourself and follow your heart, 'Kay?" Sunset nodded. Spike gave her a thumbs up.

"Good luck Sunset. Twilight deserves you." Sunset was speechless. Spike was wise beyond his years.

"Thank you Spike." Sunset said before sleep overtook her.

Now she needed to find out who were those two ponies kissing on the branch near her window was.....

What Spike said had sunk into Sunset's mind as she slept. She smiled when that last bit replayed in her mind.

Good luck Sunset. Twilight deserves you.

Spike said so himself he thinks Twilight deserves someone like Sunset. Spike really was a big confidence boost. How had she not think to talk to Spike? He lives with Twilight for Celestia's pink mane!

"How did he know what I was thinking? It's strange." Sunset said to herself as she struggled to get a brush through her mane.

"I mean, he's only fourteen? Twelve? How is he so wise but he's so young?" Sunset managed to run the brush through her mane.

"He's just a little dragon!" Sunset used her hoof to curl a bit of her mane.

"Maybe he likes a pony but they didn't like him because of the species difference?" Sunset repeated the motion she used for curling.

"Or maybe he likes a pony but knows it could never be?" Sunset finished her mane by taking a short piece of her mane and putting it near her eye.

"I honestly don't know."

Applejack woke up with a smile on her face. Today was her date with Cloudchaser. She bounded down the stairs with the smile fixed firmly on her face. As she went downstairs to eat breakfast, a knock sounded on the door.

"Hello! Welcome to Th-" Applejack was cut off.

"I would like to know your intentions with my older by three minutes sister." Flitter said. Applejack was taken aback.

"Whut now?"

"I would like to know your intentions with my sister. Did I make myself clear Miss Apple?" Flitter repeated. Applejack gulped.

"Yes Miss-"

"Miss Seafoam. Miss Flitter Seafoam." Flitter said, devoid of any emotion.

"Yes Miss Seafoam. Ya made yerself crystal clear." Applejack said. Flitter rolled her eyes.

"Are you going to invite me in?" Flitter said in a monotone. Applejack's eyes widened before she stepped to the side.

"Please come in Miss Seafoam! Ah was just about to eat breakfast!" Applejack lead Flitter to a red loveseat, Applejack sitting in a orange recliner.

"Miss Apple, I want to say one important thing."

"Whut is it Miss Seafoam?"

"Cloudchaser is my sister, my best friend. I want to protect her. CC's very special to me.

"When we were kids, our mom died after birthing Cloudchaser. Our Dad, may he rot in hell, started drinking when we turned eight. He hit Cloudchaser, and he 'ya know' or at least tried to 'ya know' me. CC always stopped before he got too far. Well, she always stopped him when he touched my plot. She protected me. I seemed weak compared to her. She just said 'You protect me more than I could ever protect you.'

"I never knew what she meant. I just lived like I did. CC protecting me from the monster that called himself my father....... I realized I was the one that kept CC chugging. I kept her alive. I made her food, tucked her in, carried her to bed when she fell asleep, helped with homework, everything a good father and mother would do. She actually said 'G'night Mom' when I carried her to bed one night.

"I was her guardian. I was her mother and father. I saved her from herself. CC was my Guardian Angel, and I was hers. We were join at the hip. Even in death we will care for each other." Flitter wiped a tear from her eye.

Applejack was openly sobbing. How sad! Cloudchaser and Flitter had to grow up early. Eight years.

"Ah lost mah parents when Ah turned six. Apple Bloom was just born when mah parents got caught up in that storm, th' Storm of '98? Only two ponies died. They were mah parents. When they were found... Thier faces were in pain. Ah never forgot seein' mah parents like that." Applejack was crying a little less.

"Flitter, Ah would never hurt yer sister." Applejack said. Flitter smiled.

"Welcome Miss Applejack Jaquline Apple Seafoam." Flitter stuck out a hoof and Applejack shook it.

"So Flitter, would ya like some apple cinnamon pancakes? Ah was just bout to make some."

"Sure. I would like four."

"Sure thing Flitter!"

Sunset sat down next to Spike at the table.

"Nice to see you Sunset." Twilight said. Sunset looked at her with tired eyes.

"Likewise Miss Sparkle," Sunset replied, sipping some coffee.

"Where's Starlight?" Sunset looked around, searching for her roommate.

"Starlight went to get groceries. She's fairly new here, so it'll take a while." Spike answered. Twilight seemed a little peeved, but dismissed it.

"Well, that answer one question. Maybe she'll run into Rainbow Dash." Twilight said. Sunset murmured a response.

"Yeah. More like be crashed into by Rainbow Dash." Spike snickered.

Starlight was amused by the last thing on the list. She always wanted Five pounds of Jolly Ranchers.....

"Hey Starlight! Out Shoppin'?" Rainbow called from above.

The sun shone against Rainbow's majestic mane and tail. Her powerful cyan wings carried through the air as she did loops and twirls, making her look like a gift from above. Her beautiful rose colored eyes were filled with determination, only making Starlight become entranced in them. Soon, Rainbow landed, before looking at Starlight.

"So ya out shoppin'?" Rainbow asked again. Starlight blinked a few times before answering.

"Yes. I need some help. Can you take me to wherever these things are? And where is the candy stand?" Starlight leaned onto Rainbow.

"Well, the candy stand is near the fruit stand, and the hot stuff stand is near the exit to Twi's castle, so we'll go to that last." Rainbow explained.

Starlight filled in Whatever The Hay You Want Starlight.

Whatever The Hay You Want Starlight RAINBOW DASH

Sunset groaned as she stared out the window, waiting for Starlight to return with food. Her stomach grumbled, waiting for Carolina Reaper peppers.

"Hungry Sunset?" Spike asked. Sunset jumped. How had she not heard him? Just another secret about the dragon.

"Yeah Spike," Sunset's hoof began pawing at the ground. "Super Hungry."

"At least Starlight won't take as long when she goes on food runs now," Sunset added. Spike nodded.

"That was the reasoning behind letting her get the food. Better let her learn now than three years later!" Spike laughed, Sunset joining in too.

"Well, Spike, do you like spicy food?" Sunset asked. Spike grinned wide.

"Do I? I put peppers on most of the things I eat! I like the burn...." Spike trailed off waiting for Sunset to pick up.

"....The need for ice cream, but you're gonna take it like a champ....."

"And the feeling of accomplishment when your friends say 'How The Hay Did You Handle That'!" They said in unison. They broke into a fit of giggles, Spike slapping his knee.

"I've never found anyone who could handle the hot like me." Spike said, looking Sunset in the eye.

"Me neither, Spike, me neither."

Starlight knew she was in love with Rainbow Dash. She actually found it weird. Was Fillyfooling a thing in Twilight's castle? She didn't think so. It just so happen that all of them liked mares. Starlight looked at her list.

✔️ 5 Containers Of Everything From The Hot Stuff Stand

✔️ Whatever The Hay You Want Starlight Rainbow Dash. Five Pounds of Jolly Ranchers

"Starlight, we done yet?" Rainbow asked. Starlight blinked.

"Yes, but do you want anything? The bits Twilight gave me have a good 20 bits left over." Starlight offered. Rainbow shook her head.

"Nah, but you could take me to Sugarcube Corner for that treat later. I gotta go Starlight. See ya at Sugarcube Corner about six-ish?" Rainbow said.

"Sure! Bye Rainbow Dash!" Starlight called after Rainbow started flying away.

Starlight was so gonna write about this in her journal.

Starlight finally returned home. She set the groceries down, and galloped to her room. Once safe inside her sanctuary she let out a ear-shattering squeal.

"RAINBOW DASH ASKED ME ON A DATE! A DATE!" Starlight yelled. It was her dream. Rainbow Dash going on a date with her!

She Was So Gonna Get A Kiss.

Chapter 3- Love Makes The World

Starlight was so happy. Rainbow Dash asked her on a date! A date! The Rainbow Dash asked her on a date!

"A DATE!" Starlight cried.

"I get it! You have a date with somepony! Stop screaming about it!" Spike snapped from another room. Starlight blushed.

"Sorry Spike!" Starlight apologized. She lit up as she remembered something.

She picked up her journal and her favorite pen. She began writing.

Dear Diary Journal Feeling Book,
Hey. Starlight Again. Well old pal, I have a date!!! With Rainbow Dash!!!!

I've loved Rainbow ever since I laid eyes on her. Her let's get this done attitude, her spunk, just everything. Especially her mane. Oh, her mane!

I imagine, us, two married mares, laying side by side, our Twins Sky Shine and Starry Day playing. I'm stroking Rainbow's mane as she smiles and purrs. Sky Shine is flying, rubbing in her twin sister's face that she has wings. Starry Day is using her magic to anchor her sister down. Rainbow smiles. I just think about our life. We just bask in the moment, before my Raini and I share a kiss.

If only it was real! Oh my Luna's fat flank, I really want to just press my lips against her's!!! Oh I would Kill for a kiss from her! If she Becomes a Wonderbolt, I'll be happy and famous! DJFB, I want Rainbow! I just wonder if she wants me too.....

I KNOW SHE WANTS ME!!!!!

Why else would she ask me on a date?

"Starlight, Sunset made some cookies and lemonade. Do you want any?" Twilight asked on the other side of the door.

"Yes please!" Starlight replied.

"Okay. I'll be back in a minute." Twilight's hoofsteps faded as she left.

I love her. I really do. I just hope it works out. I'm getting ready soon,

Shine on,

Starlight Starlilly Glimmer

As Starlight closed the book, she ran a hoof over the purple silk, carefully looking at the aquamarine stars, the lavender swirls, the rainbow that ran across. In cyan letters 'Starlight Starlilly Glimmer's Diary Journal Feelings Book'.

"Starlight? I have the cookies and lemonade!" Sunset said from behind the door.

Hide me! Hide me, Starlight. The book 'said'.

Starlight stashed the book in her mane. Her poof raised considerably, but hopefully New Sunbutt didn't notice. Sunset knocked on the door.

"Starlight? You know what, I'm gonna teleport this tray into your room." In a flash of aquamarine, a tray with blueberry, strawberry, chocolate, sugar, and triple C cookies with a pitcher of raspberry lemonade and a cup was on Starlight's nightstand.

"Thank you Sunset!" Starlight removed the book from her mane.

"That was a close call Mini Starlilly. Let's never do that again."

Okay Starlight! The book 'replied'.

"Great!"

"So Twilight...." Sunset said, looking up from Love Through The Skies.

"Yes Sunset?" Twilight looked up from A Madmare's Woes.

"These 'Human FanFictions' as you call them, how did you get them?"

"Oh!" Twilight smiled. "I created a timeline spell, so I begun hopping, and found an archive of them called 'The Library of Ponies, Dragons, Humans, and Others'. I took some books, so here we are!"

"Well, this one is great." Sunset said. Twilight brightened.

"Have you read Happiness Through The Skies? The first book?" Twilight asked.

"Uh... Maybe?" Sunset replied. Twilight gasped and snatched the book away.

"Sunset! You read this now!" Twilight levitated the first book to Sunset. "You can finish reading the sequel after you read this!"

"Actually," Sunset picked a book from the pile of different universe books.

"Try reading this!" Sunset shoved The Most Delicate Flower to Twilight. "I want to make you cry!"

"Okay Sunset. If I cry, I owe you twenty bits!"

"You're on, Sparkle!"

"That was so sad!" Twilight cried. "The way Flower Wishes waters her flowers, they way Roseluck, Lily Valley, Lily Blossom, and Blossomforth could only watch! Oh, if this was real, I would help Flower with her problem!"

"I know, right? I cried so hard." Sunset said. "You owe me twenty bits!" Twilight wiped away her tears before forking over the bits.

"Not fair, Sunset! You cried, so you knew it would make me cry! Give me back ten bits!" Twilight pouted. Sunset rolled her eyes before giving Twilight ten.

"Fine. Bite Me." Sunset said. Twilight grinned before pinning Sunset down.

"Hard or soft?" Twilight asked playfully. Sunset giggled before answering.

"Oh beat me while speaking naughty words in French!" Sunset laughed and Twilight did too.

"Well, hit me while reading '101 Ways To Fry An Egg on a Leg'!" Twilight lifted Sunset with her magic. Sunset giggled uncontrollably.

"Oh Twilight," Sunset cooed, "you thought you could stop me?"

"Y-Y-Yes!" Twilight laughed. Sunset's hooves touched Twilight's fur.

"Prepare for tickle torture!" Sunset began to tickle Twi. Twilight laughed hard.

"S-S-Suns-s-set!" Twilight said, struggling to form a proper word.

"S-Stop!" Sunset clearly knew Twilight was enjoying herself.

"Say Sunset Sunrise Shimmer Is The Next Alicorn Princess!" Sunset grinned.

"S-S-Suns-set S-Sunr-rise S-Shimmer Is T-The Next Ali-lic-Alicorn Princess!" Twilight exhaled at Sunset backed off.

"Wow! Celestia revealed that to you!" Sunset laughed.

"Can you please quiet down?! I'm trying to nap!" Spike's voice said annoyed. Twilight blushed.

"Sorry Spike!" Twilight said sheepishly.

The old grandfather clock in Starlight's room struck five. Starlight had opted to take a nap Just in case she needed more energy for the night's festivities. Starlight woke with a jolt.

"Wha?" Just as the clock struck for the third time, Starlight realized it was time for her to get ready.

"My Date! I need to get ready for my date!" Starlight rushed into her bathroom.

"Okay.... How are you gonna style your mane Starlight?" She asked herself. She lit up as she skillfully slipped out the pins and bands holding her mane in her usual style.

"How about taking the really cute streak and curl light the purple to the side and making a totally cute low side ponytail! And using said really cute streak as a braid in the ponytail!" Starlight searched frantically for her curling iron. Unlike Sunset, Starlight was in a hurry.

"Starlight? Are you okay?" Sunset's voice drifted through the door. "I heard you yelling."

"I'm fine Sunset. Perfectly okay." Truth was Starlight had burned herself with the curling iron. Sunset left.

"Okay Starlight. Take two parts of the front of your mane and twist them. Now put it into a ponytail......" Starlight carefully took the two twists and puts them into a ponytail. Starlight then took her aquamarine streak and made it into a regular braid. Carefully read into the ponytail. She then took the curling iron and the purple part of her mane and took the streak that was dangling away from where she had tucked it in.

"Now curl!" Starlight finished her mane. Starlight then looked at her makeup assortment.

"Aquamarine is my favorite color, but rose is Rainbow's..... rose lipstick! Aquamarine eyeshadow!" Starlight applied her choice of makeup.

"Now to pick what to wear!" Starlight began to head to her closet but stopped.

"Too much." Starlight watched as the clock ticked 6:00 pm.

"Wonder what Rainbow would say....."

Rainbow had been at Sugarcube Corner for about an hour. At first she had come to chat with Pinkie, but she said 'What the hay' and just sat down. In all, she had only been sitting for fifteen minutes. Rainbow rolled her eyes, waiting for Starlight. It was 6:09, and Rainbow had already bought two milkshakes, one chocolate for her and a new blueberry-vanilla one for Starlight. The door jingled. Without looking up, Rainbow spoke.

"Ten minutes late Starlight. Be lucky I didn't leave." Starlight blushed, (which Rainbow couldn't see) and sat down.

"Oh Rainbow! Thanks for the milkshake!" Rainbow finally looked up to see a drop dead gorgeous Starlight Glimmer.

Starlight's hair was in a intricate ponytail, her aquamarine streak placed in a braid in the ponytail. Starlight's eyes looked wonderful with the aquamarine eyeshadow and her lips popped out just enough. Rainbow's eyes widened.

"S-Starlight?" Rainbow stuttered. Starlight became worried.

"How about some cake? May I suggest the new Starry Day cake?" unknown to the two ponies staring at each other, Pinkie Pie had bounced up to them.

"What's in the Starry Day cake?" Rainbow snapped out of stupor enough to ask Pinkie a question. Pinkie smiled before answering.

"It's a Vanilla-Blue Velvet cake with special mini star bits of lemon cake! The lemon bits are frosted with lemonade icing and blackberry icing is used for the sky! A Rainbow runs across. It's a three layer cake and is served with whipped cream! Only nine bits for the whole cake!" Pinkie grinned proudly before continuing. "Would you like a full cake?"

Starlight took out ten bits. "Yes please." Starlight brought out eight bits. "I would like some chocolate devotion ice cream and Rainbow would like-"

"-Elemental Showdown." Rainbow said simply.

"Rainbow would like an Elemental Showdown sundae. I'm fully aware it costs only six bits. Keep the change." Starlight handed Pinkie eighteen bits.

"Thank you! I'll fix your milkshakes too!" Pinkie shoved the bits in a tiny pair of saddlebags before taking the been melted milkshakes. She the bounced away. Rainbow thanked Pinkie before talking to Starlight.

"You look beautiful." Rainbow commented. Starlight squeed internally.

Oh My Luna's Full Moon! Rainbow just said I look beautiful! Diary Journal Feelings Book, be prepared!

"Thank you Rainbow!" Starlight giggled. "I hoped I looked good." Rainbow smiled.

"Well, you have a mirror!" Rainbow smirked just as Pinkie arrived balancing a tray holding a cake, two milkshakes, two cupcakes, and two bowls of ice cream.

"Uh Pinkie? We didn't order cupcakes." Starlight said. Pinkie giggled.

"Haven't you noticed? It's on the house. The rule is we close at ten. It's 6:57 right now, and Applejack is taking her date here at eight, so I have to try to get as many baked goods eaten before I can start eating some!" Pinkie placed the tray down. "Well, to go bake some more!" Pinkie bounced off.

"So Starlight," Rainbow cut herself a piece of cake, "you look gorgeous. I love your mane. You have to do this again. I'm sounding like Rarity, aren't I?" Rainbow pressed a hoof to her face. Starlight tittered.

"Thanks. I really like this style too. Anyway, Rainbow? What's it like to fly?"

"Never again Sunset!" Twilight shoved books called Cupcakes, Sweet Apple Massacre, and Rainbow Factory. Sunset snickered.

"I'm sorry Twilight. Force me to do genocide on Undertale or something horrible." Sunset said. Twilight, spooked out of her mind handed Sunset a case of books labeled 'Gore and Dark'.

"Read these and then Genocide on Undertale." Twilight commanded.

"Whatever you say Princess! Now-" Sunset was cut off by Applejack bursting through the door.

"Twi! Ah need help!" Twilight then noticed the red splatters on Applejack's front hooves.

"Applejack! What's wrong?" Twilight said calmly.

"Ah need t' clean up fer mah date!" Applejack stared Twilight in the eye. "Ah wuz gonna go to Rarity, but Ah knew what would happen if Ah did." AJ looked at Sunset.

"Can Sunset help me instead?" Applejack asked. Sunset sighed a sigh of relief.

"Of course Applejack." Sunset said. Applejack smiled before trotting to Sunset's bathroom. As Sunset and AJ disappeared, Twilight sighed.

"Spike! Grab the mop and the towel. I need help cleaning red paint!" Twilight called. She shook her head.

My friends and Crush........

Rainbow Dash was straight. Her friends new that. Scootaloo knew that. Hay, even Carrot Top knew Rainbow Dash liked stallions. How come Starlight didn't know? It was old news actually.

This was a simple gathering between friends, and only that.

Now if only Starlight understood that.

As Starlight and Rainbow's 'date' ended, they had found themselves outside Twilight's castle. Encased in Starlight's magic, half of the Starry Day cake, a tub of ice cream, some cinna buns, two cases of cupcakes, and an LightApple cake.

"So Starlight," Rainbow said. "This was nice. We have to do this again!" Starlight beamed. Rainbow Dash totally liked her!

"Well, I'm free every single day this month. How about tomorrow?" Starlight offered. Starlight didn't know. Rainbow's eyes lit up.

"Meet me on top of Twi's castle with food at 5:55 am. I'll be like, three minutes late, but I'll be there. Also, go to the hugest and highest branch on the tree. Set the food down on a blanket too. It'll be So. Awesome!" Rainbow Dash grinned happily. Starlight grinned a bit wider.

"Sure Rainbow! See ya!" Starlight trotted into the castle.

Applejack was sitting as still as a statue as Sunset worked on her hair. So far, Applejack had only cried out when Sunset came across a tangle in her mane. So far, Sunset was only able to get a brush through Applejack's mane about three times smoothly. Soon enough, Sunset came across another tangle.

"Watch it! That hurts!" Applejack squirmed. Sunset still struggled to get the brush through.

"Well, this one's vicious! Also, your head wouldn't be hurting if you just brushed your hair regularly!" Sunset snapped. The grandfather clock in the main hallway rang eight times. Sunset's eyes widened.

"I'm so sorry AJ!" Sunset cried. "You're late for your date!" I'm-" Sunset was cut off by AJ.

"Cloudchaser told me that it's moved to 8:30. C'mon. Hurry!" Applejack sat still once more. Sunset finally brushed out the tangle.

"Okay! I'm putting your mane in a low ponytail and curling, leaving a tiny bit in front of your face." Sunset explained. Applejack nodded. Sunset went off to find the perfect accessory for Applejack's hair.

"Wow. Mah mane length can rival Rarity's when her's is wet. So soft and shiny." She ran a hoof smoothly through her mane. Sunset returned with a bright red rose clip.

"Alright Applejack," Sunset began, "you need to stay still. I mean it. I really don't want to hurt you." Applejack nodded.

"Ah understand. It's 8:15. Ah need mah hair fixed and-"

"Done!" Sunset announced. It had only been seconds and Sunset was finished.

"Whut? It takes me a minute to put mah hair in a ponytail. How did ya finish so fast?" Applejack asked. Sunset waved her hooves around.

"Mmmmmmmagic!" Sunset explained in a rather silly manner. Applejack smiled.

"Well, make me up!" Applejack said. Sunset levitated a palate of various red makeup.

"Red is a nice color in you, ya see? So let me do my thing." Sunset levitated a brush to AJ's face.

"And whatever you do, don't move. Or sneeze. Or touch your face. I'll have to start all over again if you do." Sunset explained.

"Ah trust ya Sunset."

"Good. Now relax,"

"Okay Applejack, ten minutes before you have to leave, well, about five minutes. I need you to pick out a dress!" Sunset gestured to her closet, mainly red clothes were to choose from.

"Ah like that one!" Applejack pointed to a simple scarlet dress with a little velvet colored heart locket. Sunset removed it from her closet and with a burst of her magic, the dress appeared on Applejack.

Sunset Shimmer and Applejack stared in silence, the former because of beauty, the latter because of thinking.

"Go Applejack!" Sunset said, hastily flashing black flats on her friend. Just as Applejack went out of sight, Sunset yelled again.

"Buy her pink lilies!" Sunset called.

"Ah like that!" and then Applejack's voice was no more.

"Good luck Applejack." Sunset whispered before dissapearing inside.

Applejack arrived at Sugarcube Corner at 8:27. However, Sugarcube Corner was now a lover's romantic dinner place.

Or at least it looked one.

"Applejack! Do ya liiiiiiiiiike it? Huh! Huh!" Pinkie bounced up and down. Applejack nodded, the little bit of mane swishing in her vision.

"Great Cloudchaser is supposed to be here......" Pinkie gasped. "Take a seat there!" Pinkie Pie pointed to a booth.

Applejack took a seat at the requested booth. Soon enough, just as the clock struck 8:30, not even a second later, Cloudchaser walked in.

Cloudchaser looked like a gift from the heavens to Applejack. Cloudchaser's mane's ice blue tips in the front of her face was pointed to the left. The back of her mane was in tight, small, ringlets. Cloudchaser wore a ice blue dress that split right at her back left hind leg. A ribbon of light pink ran across the bodice. A little shooting star locket was her only accessory. All though she couldn't really see, Applejack knew Cloudchaser had black tinted crystal heels on.

"Oh, like what ya see, huh AJ?" Cloudchaser asked teasingly. "It's rude to stare!" Applejack blushed.

"It's jist, ya look heavenly." Applejack grinned. Cloudchaser tittered.

"The only thing I had anything to do with this outfit was the dress! Flitter did the rest." Cloudchaser said as she took a seat. Applejack laughed.

"Ah had mah friend Sunset Shimmer do this. Ah picked the dress out. I was originally gonna go ta Rarity, but ya know what would've happened...." Applejack trailed off. Cloudchaser nodded knowingly.

"I heard she's quite the drama queen. And all about," Cloudchaser started imitating Rarity, "elegance! Fancy! Posh! Glitter on everything!"

"That's the Rarity Ah know!" Applejack laughed. Cloudchaser laughed too, candlelight flicking on other tables making her look even more heavenly.

"Hello! I'm Pinkamena Diane Pie. Please call me Pinkie or Pinks or Pinkie Pie. Anyway, I'm your server for this evening. Shall I start you off with drinks?" Pinkie Pie asked.

She wore a white blouse with a pocket on the left side, a pair of black slacks, black Mary Janes. She had even tied her mane and tail in a messy bun and placed a pencil behind her right ear and a notepad in the pocket on her blouse. Her eyes were alight with joy and merriment, signaling it wasn't a Pinkie Pie look-alike.

"Yes please. I would like a Chocolate Crunch Cloud milkshake. Applejack, what would you like?" Cloudchaser asked. Pinkie was writing furiously in her notepad.

"Ah would like a Caramel Toffee Candy Apple milkshake. Extra caramel drizzle." Applejack said. Pinkie stopped writing for a minute.

"Extra caramel drizzle?" Pinkie repeated. Applejack nodded.

"Okay, I'll be back in about five minutes." Pinkie Pie bounced off.

"Well, Pinkie Pie certainly changed for this occasion," Cloudchaser remarked. Applejack nodded.

"Yeah. Pinkie really outdid herself. Probably ran herself ragged after Dash an' Starlight left." Applejack said. Cloudchaser was taken aback.

"Dash and Starlight Glimmer are dating?" Cloudchaser asked.

"Naw. Dash said Starlight offered her something at the market, but Rainbow had to leave an' told Starlight to meet 'er here at six. Besides, Rainbow likes that one Wonderbolt dude that bought a pie from me." Applejack explained. Cloudchaser nodded.

"So, like an outing with friends?" Cloudchaser asked.

"Yes. Jist an outing with friends. Oh look. Pinkie's back!" Applejack pointed to a bouncing Pinkie Pie carrying a silver tray with the two ordered milkshakes.

"Here you go! A Chocolate Crunch Cloud milkshake and a Caramel Toffee Candy Apple milkshake!" Pinkie gave the milkshakes to Cloudchaser and Applejack.

"Would you like anything else?" Pinkie had her notepad and pencil at the ready.

"Yes please. I would like two Cinna-Bun pastries, and one of every flavor Cookie Cream Clouds. Even the experimental ones." Cloudchaser said. Pinkie was once again writing furiously on her notepad.

"Ah would like a Apple Crumb Crisp Air cake. A tiny one. Extra chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Can ya add cinnamon too?" Applejack asked. Pinkie Pie stopped writing.

"Extra ingredients cost two more bits." Pinkie went back to writing.

"Okie Dokie- Erm," Pinkie blinked. "Your order is coming up!" Pinkie tucked her pencil, now pink, back behind her right ear. She bounced away.

"Ya can eat clouds?" Applejack asked. Cloudchaser nodded.

"Yes! In fact, anypony can eat clouds, but a pegasus needs to feed it to you if you don't posses pegasus magic." Cloudchaser answered.

"Uh, what does clouds taste like?" Applejack asked. Cloudchaser's face scrunched. AJ then noticed Cloudchaser wearing light pink lipstick.

"Well, you like vanilla frosting?" Cloudchaser asked. Applejack shook her head yes. "Well, add a hint of cinnanum-"

"Cinnanum? Whut's cinnanum?" Applejack asked. Cloudchaser put her face in her hooves.

"I shouldn't have tried to say cin-na-mo-n." the word 'cinnamon' was broken up, as if it was a chore for Cloudchaser to say it right.

"Well, be glad yer not me. Most o' mah vocabulary is blinded by mah ak-cent." Applejack struggled to say 'accent' in a way the Cloudchaser could understand.

"Well, I can't say Alk-a-hole- dang it! Alcohol correctly. And 'diamond'. It always comes out as Day-ee-munds. I really don't like how the word 'Rainbow' comes out." Cloudchaser said. Applejack's interest rose.

"How do ya say 'rainbow'?" Applejack asked.

"Ray-ni-baw. Rainbow Dash lets me call her Dashie only because I can't say Rainbow correctly. I have nothing wrong with me, it's just I have a problem with words that have the emphasis on a vowel or the letter 'm'. Doc says that was new, so he called it 'Cloudy 'M' Vowel Case'." Cloudchaser finished.

"Wanna know the longest thing Ah can say without mah ack-cent?" Applejack asked.

"Fire away, AJ!" Cloudchaser replied.

"Supercalifragalisticxpialadocious." Applejack said. Pinkie Pie came back with four trays. One, carrying the cloud cakes, another carrying the Apple Crumb Crisp Cake, another carrying Cloudchaser's Cinnanum Buns, and the last a magnificent cupcake display.

"Here you go! One tiny Apple Crumb Crisp Cake. Two Cinna-Buns, Seventy-two Cookie Cream Clouds, and one of every single cupcake! One the house!" Pinkie scribbled a note, dropped in to the table, and took the two empty milkshake glasses and left.

"Thank you Pinkie!" Cloudchaser called after her date's pink friend.

"Cloudchaser? Can ya gimme th' apple cloud cookie thing?" Applejack asked. Cloudchaser smiled, shoving the baked good into Applejack's face.

"There. Chew before it goes through your mouth." Cloudchaser laughed. Applejack rolled her eyes and tilted her head back, the pastry falling into her mouth.

"Fin. At weast yer coute." Applejack said.

"Thank you!" Cloudchaser smiled. Applejack swallowed.

"So... Whut did Pinkie Pie write?" Applejack asked. Cloudchaser picked up the note and read it.

Heya AppleChaser!
How's the daaaaaaaaaate? Did you two kiss while I was baking? If so, I have a super secret secret from Rarity!
Look out of the window on the booth behind you. At exactly 9:35, Rarity's going to walk in. Right now, she's spying! In fact, there she goes now!

The door jingled.

"Oh! Darlings, I didn't know you would still be here!" Rarity said as she trotted up to Applejack. Rarity's eyes widened as she was the made over Applejack.

"Applejack Dahhhhhling," Rarity stretched out 'darling', "you look positively smashing! Did Starlight do this?" Rarity ran a hoof over Applejack's mane.

"Uh, no Rares. Sunset did this." Applejack said, pushing away Rarity's hoof.

"Rarity." Cloudchaser's voice held a twinge of anger. "Why. Are. You. Here." Rarity smiled.

"Why, I just wanted some sweets! My sweet tooth is acting up. Hasn't that happened to you too, Cloudchaser? And at 9:39, no less?" Rarity smiled. Applejack muttered something under her breath.

"Rares, just get yer sweets an' leave." Applejack pointed to Sugarcube Corner's candy bar. Rarity smiled wider and picked one of the white bags and began filling it with candy.

"We all know Rarity wants news to gossip about at the spa." Cloudchaser said.

"Really? Whut kinda stuff has she said?" Applejack asked.

"Just two days ago, Flitter was at the spa, she heard Rarity gossip about you liking mares, Twilight and Sunset, Starlight and Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy liking Big Mac, who likes Marble Pie, who actually, since she moved here, likes Cheerilee, who likes Fluttershy. Oh, she also gossiped about Thunderlane and his new unicorn marefriend Layla Hearts, and Scootaloo having a crush on Rumble, Sweetie Belle liking Spike and Button Mash, and Apple Bloom who has a crush on Diamond Tiara.

"She also started filling us in on the Ponyville Schoolhouse's business. Twist was kissing Truffle Shuffle behind 'Lover's Bush', Pipsqueak was hanging with Snails. Rarity heard from her sister that Pip and Snails are planning on becoming mares. Like, going to Twilight Sparkle and Nurse-Doctor Joy Redheart to become mares. And Lily Longstockings is getting wings-" Cloudchaser was cut by Applejack.

"Hold-" Applejack paused as Rarity payed and left. "Hold it! So Lily is a pegasus?"

"No. You cut me off before I could finish. Anyway, Lily's going to Zecora to get a brew that she'll need to take once every year to stay a pegasus. Also, Silver Spoon is into girls. Although, Sweetie Belle said that Silver always thought Snails was cute. Scootaloo's learned how to use her pegasus magic to fly. With a surfboard." Cloudchaser said. "Rarity was also sharing gossip about her own sister, Scootaloo, and Apple Bloom!"

"Whut."

"Yeah!" Cloudchaser's wings shot out. "She was saying that Sweetie Belle was going to go for Spike! But, not to gossip, I find it hard to believe that Rarity's still oblivious to Spike's crush on her. Anyway, she was talking about Apple Bloom-" Applejack cut off Cloudchaser.

"Listen. It's about 10:00. Should Ah take ya home?" Applejack asked. Cloudchaser giggled.

"Pinkie Pie? Can we have everything left to go?" Cloudchaser called. A muffled 'yes' was heard. Ten seconds later, Pinkie bounced up with ten to go containers.

"There you go! P.S, Rarity's so~ going to gossip about this~!" Pinkie said in a sing-song tone.

"Ah know." Applejack said glumly.

"Well," Applejack said, looking up at Cloudchaser's floating home. "Ya have this covered for now."

"Oh Applejack!" Cloudchaser giggled, the five pastries' containers carefully balanced on her back swaying. "I'll need you to take by containers. I need to fly." She carefully placed her five onto Applejack's five.

"Bye Cloudy. Can Ah call ya Cloudy?" Applejack asked.

"Yes." In a snobbish tone she began speaking. "You are deemed fit, Miss Applejack Apple, to call me Cloudy." Applejack laughed.

"Well Cloudy, G'night!" Applejack gave Cloudchaser a peck on the cheek, leaving a red lipstick stain.

"Bye Applejack....." Cloudchaser called as AJ began trotting away.

"Had fun, CC?" Flitter asked as she decended. Cloudchaser jumped.

"Flit! Don't scare me again!" Cloudchaser caught her breath.

"Come on. Get inside. It's cold." Flitter took off, Cloudchaser following.

Chapter 4.5- Totally Not A Chapter Of A Rivalry Between Flitter And Rarity

Flitter was not okay. She currently sat down in a bench in the new Harmony Park.

"What was Rarity thinking! Sharing everpony's business here!" Flitter growled to herself.

"Here, everypony knows your name and business Flitter," a pony answered, "so why bother hiding anything?" Flitter groaned as she realized who it was.

"Rarity. You heard me?" Flitter asked meekly.

"Every word Flitter." Rarity replied. Flitter once again growled.

"But. I really need to know, why did you spread all of that gossip?" Flitter asked. Rarity rolled her eyes.

"First, it's not gossip if it's true, Darling." Rarity explained. "Now, may I sit next to you, Miss Seafoam?" Flitter gasped.

"The only ponies who know my last name is AJ and Cloudchaser! How did you know?" Flitter was a bit surprised. Rarity rolled her eyes.

"Darling, here everypony know your name-" Rarity was cut off by Flitter.

"I know that!" Flitter messed with her bow. "Now tell me how you know my last name!" Rarity put her hoof on Flitter's back and began talking like a kindergarten teacher would.

"Darling, you have placed orders for my dresses, no?" Flitter nodded. "Well, you are required to write you full name, Flitter Dragonfly Seafoam. Good enough?" Rarity's tone became smug at the end. Flitter made a sour expression.

"You're something Rarity." Flitter said. "Achieved your dream, savior of Equestria, popular, beautiful, has a cute dragon waiting on you hand and hoof-" Flitter hoped Rarity didn't hear that last part. When Rarity said nothing, Flitter continued.

"And you Uh, make friends easily." Flitter smiled. Rarity giggled elegantly.

"Well, that's not that true." Rarity smiled. "But I appreciate that you think that highly of me. I honestly think you're mighty spectacular, Miss Flitter. I hope you think so too." Now it was Flitter's turn to say something about Rarity.

"I really like your mane!" Flitter blurted out.

That was close! I really hope Rarity didn't think I hate her too much!

"I feel that you are hiding something." Rarity said flatly. Flitter 'psh'ed and waved her right hoof.

"I'm not. What makes you think that?" Flitter hoped Rarity would buy the whole thing, but Rarity's level glare and flat expression said otherwise.

"Flitter. I'm the prime gossiper here. Do you really think that you could get away with that?" Rarity tut tutted. "You should know better."

"I'm sorry. But really, why do you gossip?" Flitter asked. Rarity sighed.

"Fine. It all started when I was just sixteen, tall, super long mane, newly wearing my blue eyeshadow. My mane was in a ponytail, and my curls were as perfect as ever! I was popular and pretty. I usually blew kisses to colts that adored me. Now, even though ponies loved me, I had a pretty boring life. You know, take care of sister, cook dinner, read fashion magazines? That was all I was. Pretty and Popular Rarity.

"But on one faithful day, I was in the bathroom fixing my makeup when I heard on of those 'geeky' mares named Past Tale talking about how much Raining Waters annoyed her, and how she thinks Party Crasher, one of those wild mares, always came to school hungover. She began ranting on how much Love Spell loved herself. Now, me being boring old me memorized everything Past Tale said.

"When the next school day rolled around, I told my best friends there named Golden Silk everything I heard. She asked me how did I know that. I just said, spread it around, tell ponies that Past Tale said. Now, I felt my boring life booming. Popular ponies came over to get the new Gossip.

"What about poor Past Tale? She was more popular. So, I kept spreading the gossip. It earned me the nickname Mystery Mare. It meant nopony knew when I was watching. I was no longer boring Rarity. I was Mystery Mare. But, I did things I wasn't proud of.

"Party Crasher started to make the rumor about her come true. Everyday, Party Crasher would stumble in my school-"

"What was your school?" Flitter asked.

"Oh silly me! I went to Saint Selena's. Now, Party Crasher would stumble into school, high and drunk as ever. The teachers didn't care, Party Crasher was doing her destiny, so they could do nothing. Raining Waters always stuck by me, becoming my airborne sidekick since she was a pegasus. So, it was now Rarity, Golden Silk, and Raining Waters. It was the next day I got a request form Golden Silk herself to tell the school that she and Rose Bloom, another mare, lost their you know... to each other.

"So I did. Rose Bloom slapped me when she saw me. I saw Golden Silk's popularity decline. When I met up with her, all she said was thank you.

"So now Flitter, if I ever stop gossiping, I would be boring old Rarity again." Rarity finished. Flitter nodded.

"OkayOkkayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy." Flitter drew out. "I know that you gossip to stay important." Rarity nodded.

"Now Tell Me What You're Hiding." Rarity's voice was scary. Flitter mustered up all of her courage.

"I hate you." Flitter said. "I hate you so much, you ungrateful brat." Flitter felt good.

"Oh really now? Why so?" Rarity's tone was icy. Flitter gulped, but couldn't back down.

"I hate you because- I can't tell you. You disgust me." Flitter was on a roll now. "You're just another prissy Canterlot wannabe."

"Oh really now!" Rarity yelled. "I'm your worst nightmare now. Better watch out!" Flitter scoffed as she got up.

"Die in a fire Rival Rarity!" Flitter yelled as she hovered. Rarity scoffed.

"Step on a lego, Flitter Fiend!" Rarity yelled as she went away.

How would AJ and Cloudy date without interruption now?

Chapter 5- A Quest Called Love Part 1/16

"Sun-Sun, we need to talk." Twilight said. Sunset blinked.

"Sun-Sun?" Sunset asked. "That sounds adorable." Twilight blushed and made a 'nya' sound.

"Yes. Well, I got a letter from Celestia." Twilight smiled a bit.

"What about?" Sunset asked. "Saving the world?" Twilight nodded.

"Yes. We need to go to a place called Love." Twilight said. Sunset blinked once.

"Love?" Sunset asked. "Really?" Twilight shook her head.

"No. Love with the hard O."

"Love?"

"No, Sun-Sun. Love."

"Love?"

"Love." Sunset looked at Twilight with a 'I can't believe you just said that' face.

"You said Love! It's called Love!" Sunset exclaimed. Twilight growled.

"Love, Sunset. It's called Love." Twilight poked Sunset's chest. "Got it?" Sunset held back a giggle. Twilight wasn't that threatening.

"Whatever floats your boat."

It was a hard decision for Twilight to not bring Spike or Rainbow or Applejack along. Her most cherished friends (and most reasonable choices to bring on a adventure) weren't going to help her on this perilous journey called Love.

"You packing yet, Twi?" Spike called from the door. Twilight looked up from a stats sheet she was making. Twilight sighed.

"No Spike. I'm just kinda....." Twilight trailed off, looking for the right word.

"Scared? I am too, ya know. Seeing that you won't be back ever possibly, or that only Sunset returns....... It's real scary. But, you can make it. You two can make it. Sunset has your back, okay Twi? Nothing bad will happen to you with Sunset around." Spike said. Twilight smiled.

"Thanks Spike. I needed that." Twilight put away the stats list.

"No prob. Just make yourself a checklist and I'll go help Sunset." Spike walked away.

"Sunset?" Spike poked his head in the doorway of Sunset's room. Sunset looked up from a series of clothes and other stuff that smelled like cinnamon.

"Oh. Hey Spike. I was just looking for my bags so I could start packing. So, what do ya need?" Sunset asked. Spike shrugged.

"Nothing. I just wanted to talk to you." Spike looked around. "Can I come in?" Sunset smiled.

"Of course Spike. Find somewhere to sit." Spike searched for somewhere to sit as Sunset bolted into her closet.

"Sunset? Is there anywhere in here that I can sit?" Spike asked. Sunset chuckled, embarrassed.

"The silk canopy chair should be clear." Sunset's voice drifted from the closet. "After all, I'm packing there. Er, will be packing if I can find my bags!"

"I could help you...." Spike offered. A millisecond later, Spike was in the depths of Sunset's closet.

Sunset's closet was huge. It looked like a whole other room. A stream of tiny twinkling lights was the only source of light. On one of the walls, a miners helmet and flashlights. A poster hung, and Spike had to lean close to read it.

Where the weak don't survive,
Where there is only Sunset,

Should the Human mare dwell.

"What a creepy message...." Spike muttered as he grabbed a helmet and a flashlight.

"Spike! Where are you?! Sppiiiiiiiiiike!" Sunset called. Spike cleared his throat and searched for a better source of light. Luckily, a club-wooden thing was laying around, and Spike picked it up and carefully and lit it on fire.

"Sunset! Watch for the green light!" Spike yelled in response.

It was a perilous journey, finding Sunset Shimmer. The dame was the back, drowning in a harsh sea of clothing.

In short, the author's closet and room in a nutshell.

"Spike!" Sunset exclaimed. "I found the bags! Let's go!" Spike groaned as he searched for the exit.

"Sunset... Really?!" Spike exclaimed. "I nearly died and you literally just find the bags?!"

"Oops." Sunset nervously replied.

"Sunset?" Spike asked. Sunset looked up from her packing.

"Yeah Spike?"

Spike let out a long sigh. "Will you and Twilight be back?" Spike felt silly for asking such a question.

Sunset stopped her packing abruptly. "W-Why would you ask that question?"

"'Cause I never know when you guys will be back," Spike explained. "There was that one time where Twilight fought Tirek? And where was I? At. The. Library's. Ashes." Sunset got up and hugged Spike.

"Oh Spike," Sunset began, "I know you'll worry, but you have Rarity and Applejack, and all of your friends. Twi-Twi and I will be back in a month or two. Just remember, we will be back."

"This is it Sunset," Twilight said as she stared out at the moonlight sky, "Our period of peace is over." Sunset sighed and rolled her eyes.

"This isn't a monologue in a book or a story online where people read this. It wouldn't be such a interesting story until now. Anyway, this is still a period of peace."

Twilight gave an annoyed huff. "Well, We're going to a place off of the equestrian filly scouts map! That map has everyplace on it! And where we are going is out of Equestria! And no period of peace there, Sunset."

"Okay fine. You got me with logic."

I know." Twilight grinned. Sunset smiled as she took a look and the handy outside of Equestria map gifted by Discord.

"Well, it seems like as soon as we leave Macintosh Mountains, we'll have a beeline to Las Pegasus..." Sunset trailed off.

"Oh," Twilight sucked in air. "I guess we'll have to be brave then."

The castle door creaked, and out popped Starlight's head. "Um... The girls are here to see you. They entered through the back."

Twilight chuckled to herself, "I knew they would wake up at three in the morning just to say goodbye. Such great friends."

As Twilight and Sunset entered through the castle doors, the first sound was crying, presumably Fluttershy's. As Sunset and Twilight reached the throne room, the second sound was muffled conversation..

"Hi girls!" Twilight greeted. "Starlight told me you were here."

"Twilight!" The mares chorused. "Sunset!"

Pinkie ran up to them. "Oh, we though you were gone! And then we would've saddy sad, but the Starry said you were still here" Pinkie sucked in a big gulp of air, "IwassohappyIwantedtoexplode!!" A little laugh sounded from Applejack.

"We all thought that ya'll had gone an' left us in th' dust. See? We're all packed an' ev'rything." Applejack gestured to the various bags. Twilight slapped on a smile that lasted for a second.

"Oh girls," Twilight said solemnly, "the letter Celestia sent said only Sunset and I were to come. I'm sorry. You can read it if you'd like." Twilight set the letter down, and Sunset began to read it.

Dearest Twilight Sparkle,

There is quite the important task for you and Sunset Shimmer. There is a place called Love, with a hard o sound, and some mysterious happenings have been reported by Discord there. We have reason to suspect there is a terrible magic there. Discord himself said "It was some kind of alicorn, changeling, pony, and dark magic mixed together." Love is a fairly small town, population 14 or so. We need you and Sunset to stop this magic, and save the inhabitants outside of Equestria. I believe in Sunset and yourself.

- Princess Celestia

"Wow," Rainbow breathed out. "You. Guys. Are. So AWESOME." Sunset laughed.

"Okay, we may be." Fits of giggles followed that statement.

"Serious time," Rarity declared. "We need to find a way to keep close contact."

"M-Maybe Twilight could to that letter thing Celestia does with Spike?" Fluttershy offered. "We would get it immediately."

"You're a genius Fluttershy!" Twilight praised. "It's a brilliant idea!" Fluttershy blushed.

"A-All I did was suggest it..." Fluttershy murmured. Sunset smiled.

"So Twilight and I will send you daily letters, one from each of us. Doesn't matter how many. Just we have to send you one each day." Sunset confirmed.

"Mmhm!" The group agreed. Twilight weakly smiled.

"I hate to be the Element of Bad News," Twilight frowned a bit, "Sunset and I have to get to the train at four. It's 3:49, and we have to get going."

"Oh," Starlight said. "Group hug?" All of the mares, sans Rarity went into the group hug.

"Wh r yeh nof in th groop fug?" Cam Pinkie Pie's muffled voice.

"Well, we are leaving out dear Spikey Wikey. I shall get him at once!" Rarity left.

"Girls, we should break the group hug." Rainbow Dash said.

"No!" Twilight protested. "Spike and Rarity aren't here!"

"Well we are now." Spike's grumpy voice said from the doorway.

"Spike! Rarity! Into the group hug!" Pinkie lifted her head from Rainbow's fur. So Spike and Rarity did.

"We have to leave," Twilight said soberly. She then felt Fluttershy's tears pelt the back of her mane.

"Twilight, I don't want to let go." Fluttershy whispered. Sunset sighed.

"Oh Fluttershy," she cooed, "Twilight and I will be back. We will be exactly the same as you see us now." Fluttershy nodded.

"Okay. Sunset and Twilight need to leave." Fluttershy reported. "We have to let go."

"Oh, so Miss Don't-End-The-Group-Hug needs to leave! I'll miss ya Egghead! I'll miss ya Sunset!" Rainbow taunted as she left the hug, making Pinkie fall flat on her face. Soon, the hug trickled down to just Twilight and Sunset. They began walking to the door, and as soon as Twilight's hoof made contact with it, she turned around.

"I love you all," Twilight's eyes began to tear up, "and I want you to know it will never change."

"I do too," Sunset said. "I adored the human version of you guys, but you make me feel at home."

"Oh Sunset," Twilight smiled lightly. "You are home."

And with that, only 32 seconds left to catch the train, a bright flash of magenta signaled they were gone.

Chapter 5.5- Not a Chapter Of A Town Meeting/ Quiz Show in Love

View Online

"Welcome to the CS trivia show, with your host, Cinnamon Spice!" Cinnamon herself trotted out from behind a blood red curtain. She was a unicorn had a blood red mane and tail with occasional cinnamon colored glitter strands. Her coat was a nice auburn color and her cutie mark of a pile of cinnamon worked nicely with her coat.

"And let's introduced our contestants! As the representative for team We-Couldn't-Think-Of-A-Name, we have Quicksilver!" A spotlight switched on, and an earth pony named Quicksilver stood cluelessly, his wild orange mane and silver coat looking great, yet the glare his glasses gave wasn't very pretty.

"What am I supposed to do exactly?" He sheepishly asked. Cinnamon facehoofed.

"Go stand at the stand labeled 'Quicksilver'!" Cinna urged. She quickly regained her composure as she gestured to a white curtain.

"For team Just-Skye-Mist, we have Skye Mist!" The white curtain pulled back, and a blue alicorn with purple hooves and muzzle, with a mane of two shades of blue. She had on a cloak with a pearl necklace clasp, and a black bow.

"I didn't sign up for this!" Skye protested as Cinna's red magical aura pushed her to her place.

"And finally, for team Side-Cinnamon-Pie, we have Side Gamer!"

But instead of Side Gamer, out walked little Cinnamon Twist.

"Really." Cinna said flatly. "Orchid, get the box of shame please." Soon, a box labeled 'box of shame' was throw.

"Okay! Let the quiz show begin!"

Said No One Ever -A Quest Called Love Part 2/16

Train rides were always boring to this author. She has decided to skip those parts. Literally. Sunset and Twilight literally talked twice before sleeping.

"Train rides were always boring to me," Sunset whined. "Why didn't we teleport to Fillydelphia, sail the Celestial Sea, Go to the Griffish Isles, and go to Love?"

"Love. It's called Love." Twilight reminded. "Anyway, even with my enhanced alicorn powers, It would drain me a lot to teleport directly, and I, in the other hoof, like train rides!"

"Okay, okay." Sunset said. "As long as we're in Macintosh Mountains, we might as well eat."

It wasn't long until they had to board another train. This time, past Las Pegasus, and straight to Fillydelphia.

"You know Sunset, somepony's always lonely on a train." Twilight's slight smile dropped. " Doesn't it hurt to learn someone is lonely?"

Sunset scooted closer to Twilight, "Oh really? I think it's an excuse to make me hug you." Twilight giggled as Sunset wrapped her in a hug.

"Ha! You have hugged me!" Twilight laughed in triumph. Sunset rolled her eyes.

"R-Really Twiligh-" Sunset fell right asleep during her sentence.

"Hm," Twilight smiled as the scenery passed along.

Two days passed before they reached the end of Equestria.

"So," Sunset said looking at the desert devoid of any life, "this is it."

"Yeah." Twilight said absentmindedly. "We reached the end of Equestria." The small patch of lush grass Sunset was standing on began to move, so she jumped off of it as quickly as she could.

"I'm scared." Sunset whimpered.

"You are too? I was trying to stay as calm as I could, but I was waiting for you to say that." Twilight smiled lightly.

"I'll take the first step then," Sunset closed her eyes, and took the first step.

It was like a punch to the ovaries. The second Sunset crossed the border, the lack of equestrian magic got to her. The air was pushed out of her lungs, and sparks erupted inside of her horn. She quickly went into a coughing fit. It taunted her, the magic just one step away.

And it all happened in one second.

"Oh gosh! Sunset!" Twilight rushed across the border, the lack of magic seemingly not effecting her. She quickly helped Sunset up, and picked up Sunset's travel backpack.

"I'm-" Sunset coughed, "okay. C'mon. We need to find Love, and GTFO after we fix it."

"Yeah we do. I wouldn't exactly phrase it that way." Twilight said as they walked through the wasteland.

"Finally!" Twilight cried. "We are here!"

Sunset studied a poster curiously. "Huh, Twilight, read this." Twilight obliged.

Here are Changelings, Alicorns, Movie Stars, Hidden Ponies, Useless trivia ponies, Weird ponies, Energetic Ponies, Gaming ponies, tomboy ponies, and two foals. And cake. A lot of cake

"Changelings! There's a changeling in there!" Twilight yelped. "An evil, evil, Changeling!"

"Oh don't worry about Shadow Aura!" an unfamiliar voice said. "She barely is seen anyway!" Twilight turned around.

"Are-Are you the changeling?" Twilight backed up a bit.

"Me? A changeling? Naw. I'm Cerulean Skies! Who are you guys? I've never seen you here." Cerulean smiled a friendly smile.

Sunset Shimmer stepped up. "Hi. I'm Sunset Shimmer, and this is my friend" Susnet gestured to Twilight "Princess Twilight Sparkel of Friendship."

"There's a place called Friendship here? Wow." Cerulean said.

"Oh no no," Twilight slapped on a smile. "Sunset and I are from Equestria."

"Did somebody say Equestria!" in a grand entrance, a pony with glitter in her mane made herself appear.

"Leave 'em alone Cinna," a exasperated voice said from somewhere. "They have traveled a long way, and their bags look heavy. Wait until tomorrow."

Twilight chose that time to whisper to Cerulean, "Is that mare the changeling?"

"No," Cerulean whispered back. "That's our entertainment, Cinnamon Spice."

"Oh," Twilight whispered. "Is that disembodied voice a changeling?"

"Nope! Just Orchid Lily. Nobody has ever seen her." Cerulean smiled. "Are you guys ready?"

"I'm ready." Sunset said. Apparently she had heard everything.

"Let's gooooo!" Cerulean pointed the the entrance of the small town.

Twilight closed her eyes as she walked in.

And ran face first into a changeling.

"Ahh!" Twilight screamed. "CHAAANNGELINNNNNNG!" The changeling smiled as well as a changeling could, and slipped into a disguise.

"Nice to meet you too," she said, and carried on with her business.

"Why'd you freak out about the changeling?" Sunset asked.

"Oh, we here in Love don't hear much Equestrian news. We only know that There is two new princesses, a pony brainwashed a whole town, and there was a changeling evasion in Canterlot." the disembodied voice said. "And with Princessey McPrincess's freak out, I suppose her brother was getting married."

"Wow, Orchid!" Cinna's sarcastic voice said. "I never knew you saw the wedding!"

Orchid groaned. "Oh please Miss Glitter," Orchid said, "I know if I ever decided to show my face, I'll be prettier than you." Cinna steamed in rage before stomping off.

"Well that happened," Cerulean said. "I never saw such a heated argument."

"Wow. Even Rainbow and Rarity know boundaries." Sunset uttered under her breath.

"Now to continue with the tour!" Cerulean smiled wide. "I would advise to take in everything."

"Why?" Twilight asked.

"Oh nothing, it's just here, outside of Equestria, we experience many weird things." Cerulean Skies gestured to a house overgrown with flowers, vines, and various plants.

"Who lives there?" Twilight asked. "Depending on the flora, that pony must have a great knowledge on plants."

"Rose Velvet," Cerulean replied without skipping a beat. "She's a professional flower grower."

"Ah," Twilight nodded. It made sense a flower enthusiast lived there.

"What about that tree?" Sunset pointed to it. The tree was very tall. It reached up to the clouds, and a padlocked door was at the base.

"Orchid lives there from what I've learned!" Cerulean said. "She's a Pegasus, so only four ponies can see her, but they never!"

"Wow. It's and awesome tree." Sunset muttered under her breath.

"And now...." Cerulean's energetic and happy voice drooped a little, "we are passing Cinnamon Spice's set."

"I couldn't help but notice that nobody wanted Cinnamon around," Sunset noted. "Why's that?"

"We, um.." Cerulean searched for an answer. "Well, we only dislike Cinna a little. She's a huge drama, but she's our best entertainment. She makes video games, movies, soap operas, but she can be a handful at times."

"Like Rarity," Twilight commented.

"Yeah, like whoever you said!" Cerulean kept walking along.

"So, any more ponies here? Seems like a ghost town." Sunset asked.

"There's Quicksilver, Skye Mist, Side Gamer, Cinnamon Twist, Skywinder, and-" Cerulean paused carefully, looking around before speaking. "Cutie Pie!" She started to giggle.

"Cutie Pie? Who's-" Twilight's question was cutoff by an unfamiliar hoof jamming her mouth closed.

"Don't call her Cutie Pie." a shadowy stallion said. "She hates her name."

Cerulean smiled, "Oh Obsidian!" she giggled, "Don't scare away the guests-" and leaning close she lightly added "or else."

"Hehe..." Dark Obsidian stepped back slowly. "Well, I have to go see RoseBye!" He seemingly slinked into the shadows.

Twilight nearly screamed as a disembodied hoof still remained. "Moof! Moof!"

"Twilight," Sunset whispered, "Cinnamon's probably pulling a trick." As if on que, Cinnamon Spice appeared.

"Annnnd cut!" a snap of one of those movie things sounded. "Take five and meet me at Skywinder's!" Cinna turned to Sunset and Twilight.

"Such a real reaction, Sunset Shimmer! And Twilight dearest, please try to make your plot less big! It took up a lot of the shot!" Twilight gasped.

"I'm a princess you know! I can't go out very much!" Twilight cried. "I still save the world, but still!"

"And I'm a princess here!" Cinna smiled. "And so is Skye Mist. So don't think you're so special, Sweetie."

"I-I-I...." Twilight stammered. Cinna smiled,

"I thought so." she then strutted away, leavening a steaming Twilight, flabbergasted Sunset, and a annoyed Cerulean.

"Let's keep going.." Cerulean said lightly, and started to lightly trot away.

Soon, the tour had wrapped up. Cerulean showed Sunset and Twilight the guest palace, and the took them to a nice big rosy cottage, and and lastly showed them a pocket dimension where some weird pony lived.

"I hope you'll enjoy your stay!" Cerulean said happily. "I'll be at Skywinder's for free snacks!" and like that, she was gone.

"This is...." Twilight struggled to find words.

"......nice?" Sunset completed.

"-ish." Twilight said, looking at Sunset, who shared the same opinion.

"Glad I'm away from there!" a pony muttered under her breath. "Honestly, I can't explain why we didn't kick her butt back to Equestria...." the pony seemingly a unicorn, said.

"That's not nice!" Twilight said. "Do you know anything about friendship?"

"Huh?" the pony said. Twilight gulped.

"I said," the pony's blue eyes peirced Twilight's soul, saying if you finish that sentence... "I um, said, that uh, that's not nice?"

"Whatever." and the mysterious pony was gone.

Sunset's eyes widened in recognition. "Remember what Cerulean said?" Twilight searched her brain.

"Skye Mist isn't very nice. She's a cynical, sarcastic, and all of that junk... But she's our unofficial ruler because of the alicorn-ness. I believe she said." Twilight said dismissively. "I could be wrong."

"Oh, Skye's cynical, alright," a new voice said. "and she's everything in between." Sunset leaned over to Twilight.

"I swear these ponies and the weird appearances...."

"Aw..." The pony said. "I thought nobody had done that!"

"Too late buddy," Sunset rolled her eyes. "Everyone but two ponies have done that."

"Well, I'm Quicksilver." The pony- now known as Quicksilver- waved. "And you are?" Twilight smiled warmly, before taking his glasses off and cleaning them.

"Your Majesty, Your Highness, Princess Alicorn Twilight Stella Sparkle." <at least that's what it says on her box>.

"I'm Sunset Shimmer," Sunset took the glasses, and returned them. "And just call her Twilight. All she's trying to do is assert authority." Twilight faked a gasp.

"Well, I have to-" Quicksilver, face strained to be straight, interrupted.

"I'll leave now."

Sunset sensed something was up with Twilight. But that's not the time for it, wait for like, six hunnit fiddy dollaz worth of writing. As explained in the title, I, Rarity Is Mah Favorite, is currently at school, and hiding for her teacher. And her fingernails are reaching the screen before her fingers, and it's making a click clack click clack click clickty clickbait sound like a typewriter. Ugh. And she's starving. And her friend's butt is in her face. And her friend called Hibiscuit is showing her a pic. Anyway, here we go.

Twilight smiled awkwardly. "So your name is Skye Mist right?"

Skye simply gave a short nod.

"You're an Alicorn, how?" Sunset asked.

Skye said nothing.

Twilight's awkward smile grew more. "Nice cloak there...hehehe...."

Skye didn't say anything, but now giving a death glare to Twilight.

"What are you the princess of?" Sunset asked.

Skye's glare grew harder.

Twilight shuffled her wings. "Nice conversation..."

"Yeah.." Sunset said.

"Go. Away." Skye muttered.

Sunset and Twilight didn't need to be told twice.
