I really should have never gone to that convention for now I have to avoid Celestia without her trying to kill me or fluttershy. Why did I have to get that dress.
Well this is a really bad situation. Not only have I went to brony con dressed as flutterbat but I just had to buy that replica of crescent rose and a replica of a Gothic Victorian era dress. So here I am as a humaniod vampiric fluttershy being hunted by the princesses while hiding out with my 'twin'. I'm not shy but it's up to me to stop any of the more dark oriented monsters from attacking ponyville at night while trying to prevent getting killed by Celestia who confused me for a corrupted fluttershy. Sometimes a girl just can't go anywhere without something strange happening. (Cover art is the closest to what I had in mind)
I took a deep breath as I got ready for brony con. I put on my modified pegasus suit which had bat like wings in a soft buttercreme color like most of my suit. While I had the back hooves show accurate I just didn't have the front ones in time so I substituted with plain creme gloves with glued on red fingernails while adjusting the slightly messy pink tail of my costume. A trio of pink bats was breifly seen on my thighs as I finished adjustments before looking to my mask which was modified as well. The pink mane was similarly slightly messy while the eyes were crimson with sitter pupils and the mouth had some fangs. The ears were slightly bat like. If you hadn't figured it out by now I was going as the ever popular flutterbat. My name is sky line a collage girl around twenty with natural double c cup breasts with light brown hair and purple eyes. My life wasn't really much to say as I was your adverage gal. Reason why my name is sky is that I was born while a plane was in flight right at the boarder of America and Japan on the oceanic seas. So despite being born to both American parents I was Japanese American legally. Though one problem I found with my costume was the fact it clung to my curves like a second skin. That's what I get for using a bodysuit covered in felt fabric to make the entire costume. Yes even the mask. The eyes were actually goggles I lightly painted over so I could see out of them but the people looking at me won't be able to see my eyes. I just had to bare with it as I was out of time to make another one. Pulling on my mask I gathered my purse and my wallet and headed out to the convention center.
Soon though after waiting nearly a hour in line I was finally at brony con. I found a cute flutterbat cutie mark necklace pendent with black wristbands which I got and put on when I found a cute white bat plush in a stall that was called fluttershy’s plush corner which made me giggle but I got the bat noting the wing membrane was dark red. Though I did play a bit of mirror mirror with the costumed person running the stall being regular fluttershy. I actually heard people laugh at the sight and I was sure someone put it on YouTube which I admit was pretty funny.
While looking over fan made stuff in other stalls I found a item that I just had to get. It was a Victorian era style detective hat. It was even modified for the ears of my costume reminding me of that hellsing parody of flutterbat on sfm videos. Getting it I headed to get something to eat at the food court and removed my mask so I could eat my pizza in peace. Afterwords I browsed the panels and was getting excited for what was being planned for the future of mlp.
Then I found a actual room that looked a lot like the inside of carousel boutique which I resolved to check later because I had spotted what was dubbed the crossover stalls where people buy pony versions of other franchises and lucky me I found in the rwby version stall a good replica of the scythe riffle weapon crescent rose in scythe mode and if I was correct it was made out of polymer clay. Must have took months to make life sized. I purchased it and then entered the boutique room to find that yes it really resembled the place. Oddly enough I saw the person at the stall resembled a person dressed in a rarity costume but I could see white eyes behind the eyeholes.
"Hello there. I'm covering for the usual person that runs these kind of things. What can I do to help you" asked the girl cheerfully.
"Oh Um I'm just browsing around I'm surprised at the detail of this room it does look a lot like the boutique from the show" I said becoming nervious something about this woman in the suit just seemed off. Must be because she was obviously not the comfortable in the costume.
"Yeah surprised me how my friend can set it up so quick alone yet still get accurate detail. Hmm well miss how about you buy a dress because I think you need something to cover up thatvfigure" said the girl and I nodded and the girl helped me onto a stand as she pulled out a Victorian era styled black Gothic dress that had decorative silver chains around the arms and waist with a hole for the tail at the skirt. With it was a red corset laced with silver string. There was even slits for the wings of my costume. It was perfect! I asked her how much.
"Hmm around seventeen dollars not many use Victorian style clothes anymore so this is fair to me" said the woman who helped me put it on after I payed for it without ruining my costume. I looked at the full body mirror and held my purse which I had painted flutterbst's cutie mark on with my bat plush and held my crescent rose while I placed back on my necklace and wristbands and hat.
"Nice if fits perfectly!" I said with a grin at my image.
"Yep your going to be a real beauty with this costume" said the woman in agreement.
I turned to her and I smiled. Only it was then I realized that I was smiling with the mouth of my mask and I quickly turned to the mirror feeling something had gone wrong. I saw that my mask was mimicking my expression.
"What the hell I didn't make the mask flexible!" I said before I started getting a case of vertigo and started tipping backwards falling unconcious.

The woman took of her mask and frowned as she stared at where sky once was.
Suddenly her friend A came back from where she was wandering the convention and caught her expression.
"So you displaced someone for me? Guess someone arrived while I was out. Thanks yin for covering for me" said A as she put yin back into her usual white dress.
"Anytime A though something odd happened with this displacement" said yin.
"Really what" asked A curious.
"She was already transforming into her character before she started to vanish" said yin.
"Really what was her costume" asked A.
"Flutterbat. from what I saw she made it with a bodysuit you usually see on people going snorkeling covered in felt fabric and must have ordered a custom wig for her mask and used any spare fiber to make the tail. She also had a red Victorian style hat with a flutterbat cutie mark pendent and black wristbands. She also was holding a replica of a certain rifle/scythe weapon and a white bat plush. I just sold her the modified Victorian era goth dress to help cover her figure as the bodysuit base was clinging to her curves" said yin.
"The crescent rose I spotted at the pony version of rwby's stall? Huh well at least she can defend herself wherever she ends up... oh shoot she's going to encounter regular fluttershy isn't she" said A laughing.
"Yep reminds me of that pinkamina displaced out there" said yin.
"Well there is enough differences that they can be considered sisters at least.... Celestia might confuse her as a corrupted version isn't she" asked A calming down.
"It's a possibility" said yin before standing up and brushed out the Winkles in her dress.
"Well I better go check on yang without me to balance him out he tends to cause a lot of chaos in our place" said yin teleporting out.

I groaned as I came to and I pushed myself up finding I was no longer at the convention center but a familiar ruined castle. The castle of the royal sisters. I looked over my body and I found I could feel fur and it turns out that somehow my costume had become my actual body and not a costume. Covering my lower legs was gothic victorian era style boots in red velvet kind of color. Standing I was surprised I could still balance but made sense I still had my human hands on my arms. I picked up the crescent rose from where it lay and it wasn't clay anymore but now the real deal as it transformed to its box like shape that I found could be clipped to the chains around my waist and I found the bat plush was now a real equestrian albino bat with red wings as it flew onto my shoulder I was thinking of calling her, as I could tell the gender this close, white knight. I thought it fit.
Looking around I wondered when in the timeline I was as I felt my new wings fold onto my back. I quickly headed in the direction of the exit and once I found a window I saw it was night and I looked to my new pet bat.
"Want to go for a flight white knight? Get used to our new surroundings" I asked and noted my voice sounded much like fluttershy’s but more seductive and not as meek in tone. The little bat nodded and I flew out to locate ponyville and soon I managed to see a light at the edge of the Forrest and flew in that direction landing on a tree and I looked at the village in the distance. I could make out golden oaks so that meant I was either around the first three or four seasons. I could sense that something was heading this way and I looked down seeing fluttershy being led by angel who sniffed the air and looked confused before pointing to me while looking to fluttershy. It was then I realized she looked very much like my current form only without the bat traits. Her clothes though victorian was more like a gown then a dress with hers being yellow and going to the ground at the skirt while mine was at least halfway down my shins. She flew up before I could realize my situation and both of us blinked at the sight of the other.
We tilted our heads mirroring each other and we continued this with our movements before we both burst into giggles. It wasn't until she heard how different my voice was then hers did she look to me.
"Sorry but that's the second time I mirrored a look alike today how about we head to your home so I can explain why we look so similar" I said calming down.
"Um alright follow me if that's okay with you" said fluttershy flying down and I followed her down. White knight flew onto my shoulder as we walked to her cottage.
"So what is your name" asked fluttershy.
"Flutterbat and once you hear my story the name will make sense" I said kindly as we entered and sat down for some tea.
I realized my figure actually matched fluttershy's in this world.
"You see I'm not from this universe fluttershy and yes I know who you are other universes share the oddest of connections. I was originally a human by the name of sky line at least until this afternoon. I was atending a gathering for nightmare night to use your world's terms so you can understand the concept. Well my costume which I based off a varient of you created in the future to you was clinging to my figure so after finding some souvenirs I stumbled on a replica of rarity's business and it was a very accurate replica and from there I got my current attire to Um cover up my figure. What I didn't know was that the dress was enchanted and transformed me into my costume. Next thing I know I'm waking up in the castle in the everfree forest. How flutterbat came to be is a bit of a surprise. Twilight had to help apple jack with a fruit bat problem and need you to use your stare to get the bats attention. One spell later altered their diet but well the spell back lashed and sent the instincts of the fruit bats into you via your stare. Thus these changes you can see on me. Though you lost your rational mind to the instincts so they had to make you use your stare on yourself from mirrors so twilight could reverse the spell. The name flutterbat came from rarity on seeing the transformed state. Her exact quote was 'that's not fluttershy that's flutterbat!' The name kinda stuck after that when referencing the incident" I said and fluttershy nodded.
"I can see how this can happen and if this is my future I know at least my friends can fix the mistake. But with you here you might make sure it is at least gone a bit more smoothly" said fluttershy.
"Yeah that depends on if I can get home though it might be likely I can't get back. Only reason I'm not having a emotional meltdown is due to the fact panicking won't help at all" I said.
"Well technically your me and you currently don't have anywhere to live so you can stay with me I always wanted a sister so you being a long lost twin will be beleivable. My farther actually is a threstral while my mother is a pegasus. It may take me a bit to explain to them as I got to let them know so they can confirm the story if asked. If anyone asks how I met you I can just say I bumped into you on a trip to manehatten picking up supplies for my job" said fluttershy.
"That is if Celestia doesn't see me without you in sight and thinks I'm a corrupted you and tries to hunt me down and subsequently you as I'm more vampony then threstral. The fruit bats was the vampire kind" I said.
"Right that might take months to fix if it hsppens" said fluttershy nodding.
"So what was the last recent event you experienced I need to know exactly when I am" I said.
"Let's see twilight just got us tickets to the gala" said fluttershy.
"Oh right going to nip this in the bud here before a disaster happens. The animals at the garden are skittish around strangers so if you want to get to know them ask the gardener to introduce you as they been around him and got used to him. Though Celestia is trying to liven up the gala which is so formal it's less a party but more of trying to throw egos and politics around. Oh and warn rarity that blueblood is a narcissistic guy that cares more about himself and his position as a prince that he would possibly use her as a pony meat sheild if say a cake was launched in his direction. Back home you caused a stampede that caused a lot of chaos and pretty much destroyed the pavilion trying to get the animals to like you. Which is what Celestia is counting on as after a few centuries of the gala she gets very bored there... and tell apple jack not to expect to sell much at the event as she will only get to sell one pie to soarin of the wonderbolts as the event is pretty much catered. Rainbow would try to talk to the wonderbolts only to try and stop the place from collapsing with a impressive ground to air manovurability in a crowded room. Pinkie will not like the gala where no one is actually dancing and try to liven up the party to actual party status. Since her talent is involving parties you should ask Celestia to explain that to the nobles. That she can't help her special talent from trying and do what she does best. Spike though will be the most disappointed with the night having been ditched by you six until the gala is ruined and spent the entire time at donut Joe's. He was hoping on speaking the night with you six as your his friends" I said and fluttershy winced at the mental image her imagination conjured.
"Thanks for the warning that might help minimize the damage I can't speak for the others but pinkie might cause most of the damage but if the princess wants us to liven up the event we can try only maybe without ruining part of the castle" said fluttershy.
"That's all I can ask" I said.
"Well come on you need your rest after the day you had sis" said fluttershy with a small smile at the last bit. I gave a small smile myself at the title as I didn't have any siblings myself and followed her to her bedroom and I took Cresent rose off and placed it under the bed and changed into the night gown fluttershy handed me which was black though she blushed realizing I wasn't wearing any undergarments.
"Like I said it was a costume back home I made it out of felt fabric and a bodysuit the main version of your world looked more like this for the inhabitants" I defended showing a picture of none humaniod fluttershy which made the pegasus go ah in understanding.
"Your going to borrow some of my undergarments for now until we talk to rarity" said fluttershy and I nodded.
"Im more worried about pinkie and Celestia I mean rarity is going to be busy with your dresses for the gala" I said sliding under the covers.
"I can understand Celestia but pinkie?" Asked fluttershy.
"Her welcome to ponyville parties. her sixth sense is scary when directed at someone" I said deadpan.
"Good point when I had mine I froze stiff and was pretty much a statue as I'm not that much social a pony" said fluttershy thinking as she got in.
"Good night sis" I said and when she said the same we both fell asleep at the same time.

Chapter two meeting the parents and worst fear confirmed
I sighed while hiding from sight as fluttershy was telling her friends that her parents want her to come visit and that she wanted to count on her friends looking after her animals while she was gone. Rarity was excused due to her still working on the gala dresses while twilight had work at the library and dash had weather management to do so that left pinkie and apple jack looking over the place.
I was currently at the tree line hiding in shadow so I could follow my soon to be official sister to meet her parents. Fluttershy had sent a letter via spike's flames explaining the situation and her parents sent a letter a day ago wanting to meet me. I was keeping my weapon on standby just in case something went wrong. I am a vampony and from what I remember supernatural beings tended to attract each other. White knight was perched on my shoulder and angel was on my other one. He seemed to take a liking to me and had become best friends with white knight. I followed her onto the train as fluttershy paid for two tickets of a round trip.
"Im picking up a friend to show her around so I'm picking up a round trip ticket for her so she can get home" I heard fluttershy and I was not surprised that worked her natural cuteness could make any half truth a full truth to anyone and as I was basically her yet my own person I knew mine was enhanced by my vampony traits. I quickly sneaked into the train and sat down as fluttershy sat down with me and handed me my ticket. With that we were headed to fillydelphia fluttershy's apparent hometown.
The town reminded me of Philadelphia back on earth just as the Victorian era for the design. As we moved through the town we eventually went up to a modest home that fit fluttershy's personality a lot I knew right then fluttershy designed her cottage after her parents home. Fluttershy knocked on the door and it was opened by a blue threstral in the night guard armor resembling more of a knight back on earth mixed with what I saw on the show.
"Fluttershy! Right on time" said the guard with a kind smile and I knew fluttershy got her kindness from her farther which meant the shyness came from her mother.
"Thanks farther may we come in" asked fluttershy and her farther nodded.
We relocated to the living room where I saw a golden pegasus shyly looked at us. Her red mane a stark contrast with her fur. Her dress was more blue and traditional.
"Nice to meet you both I'm flutterbat and before you ask I am a vampony just the vampony part is half fruit bat so my diet is still the same as fluttershy’s is I just have to eat about a extra apple a day but that's it" I said kindly as I let my own inner fluttershy come to the front on kindness.
"Nice to meet you I'm lunar beam head of the night guards stationed at the town. My wife is shy heart. Fluttershy told us the cover story about how you met and we had enough time to change the records from fluttershy's birth but due to your being a naturally born vampony you were abducted by a coven from manehatten and raised by them until a vampony hunter eliminated them but you somehow survived and lived like a normal pony when you bumped into your sister. A friend of mine is a vampony hunter and I asked him to change the records as he did destroy a coven there fifteen years back" said lunar.
"Bet he was surprised about a friendly vampony" I said amused.
"Yes but we told him is was due to the fact your the twin to the element of kindness that he even went with it. If your ever in manehatten look up a unicorn named dark hunter" said lunar.
"Might have to if the worst case scenario happens which I am sure sis here has told you in the letter" I said to their nods.
"Flutterbat why don't you look around town while we catch up to fluttershy" said shy heart and I nodded with a smile and motioned white knight to get to know my new mother.
I walked around the town and smiled at how peaceful it was. It was as I was going through the park staring at the sky with a smile on my face did I collide with someone and we both fell to the ground.
"Oh im sorry are you okay" I asked looking to who I collided with and froze.
"Im alright fluttershy I didn't expect you to be here though" said princess Celestia her triple colored mane waving as she stood eyes closed before opening them and getting a good look at me.
"Fluttershy what happened to you?" Asked Celestia confused.
"Im not fluttershy I'm her twin flutterbat, lunar beam is our farther. Sis bumped into me at manehatten and we both went to visit our parents to catch up or in my case meet them for the first time. A coven of vamponies abducted me at birth and I was raised by them. I was shocked I had a twin" I said standing up myself.
"Funny fluttershy now really how did you get like this" asked Celestia and I gawked. She thought it was a joke!
Though as her giggles died down I got a bad feeling. I had the feeling the worst case scenario just happened.
She thought I was a corrupted fluttershy. I could already see the magic building in her horn. I did the only thing I could do. I used my enhanced speed to fly back to the house and quickly entered and closed the door and ran into the living room in a panic.
"Sis what's wrong" asked fluttershy.
"Our fears just happened she thought my story was a joke and thought I was you! She looked ready to kill me once she got it into her head I was a corrupted you!" I said.
This made the rest of my family wide eyed.
"You ran into the princess" said fluttershy.
"At the park I was as surprised she was here! She sensed I was a supernatural being like her and I know enough that supernatural beings attract each other. She's going to try and hunt us down soon. She might be surprised at my speed still. Shy we got to go into hiding until the princess can come to her senses. She was in her serious state reserved for dire threats" I said as I looked through the nearby window and gulped as I saw the princess teleport onto the block.
"Okay if I remember right buildings like these have hidden passages we can use that to escape until she calms down" I said and lunar led us to the bookshelf and pulled a book revealing said passage.
"This leads right to the outskirts of town once your out head to manehatten and wait at dark hunter's place until we set the princess straight" said lunar and I nodded and took my sister by the hand as she held angel before we flew into the tunnel with white knight following.
Behind us we heard the entrance close and as we flew off we hoped the princess didn't do anything irrational.

Celestia stared at lunar beam as he answered the door and he didn't look a bit happy with her.
"Princess before you ask if I seen fluttershy just know I'm not happy with you at the moment." He said and Celestia felt out of her depth as the guard knew what she was here for. He led her inside and she got to meet lunar's wife who also didn't look happy.
"This is my wife shy heart" said lunar and Celestia went wide eyed knowing that was the name of the bearer of kindness' mother and started to get a bad feeling.
"Right now we were just catching up with fluttershy and meeting our long lost duaghter when I suggested flutterbat go look around the town. Not fifteen minutes later she came back scared out of her mind. Now because you thought flutterbat was her twin you made both go into hiding! We just got our other daughter back and now we possibly lost both of our kids" said shy heart quietly yet coldly and suddenly burst into tears. As lunar comforted his wife he glared at the princess.
"Until you figure out how to fix this mess you can explain to princess Luna why I'm retiring from the night guard. Expect my letter of resignation tomorrow" said lunar and escorted the princess out of their home. And slammed the door behind her.
The princess just stared shocked. She shook her head. "That dark fluttershy must have hypnotized them until I can find that corrupted pegasus I'm putting these two under house arrest. Unless I see the two of them with my own eyes I won't beleive that lie" said Celestia and charged her horn and casted a force field spell trapping the residents of the house to their horror. It even sealed off the hidden passages in the house. With her deed done she teleported out and at the outskirts the flutter twins stared in horror from their spots at what happened.
"Sis you need to get a message to twilight and warn her that Celestia is jumping to conclusions again" I said as I pulled out a peice of paper and a pen from my purse handing it to my sister. She quickly jotted down what happened and looked to me.
"Have angel send it white knight can fly him home and get it to apple jack before Celestia gets to twilight" I said grimly.
The bunny saluted and grabbed the message and on the back of white knight flew towards ponyville. With that we headed over to manehatten which would take us a few weeks to get to.

Chapter three a rift forms once again between teacher and student
White knight settled down on the front of the porch of the cottage and felt her friend hop off and bounce inside and she flew up to the rafters as the rabbit handed over the letter to the orange mare she remembered was applejack. The albino demon bat though her mistress didn't know that had learned about the farmer and the others from the bearer of kindness who is the twin of her mistress. Once applejack and pinkie had read the note they went wide eyed and rushed out of the cottage and headed to the golden oaks library and white knight followed. She settled in the rafters and watched as they interrupted spike from opening a just received message.
"Sugarcube! Don't read that letter just yet! Read this message we got from fluttershy" said applejack handing over the message.
Twilight read the note going wide eyed at what she read recognizing fluttershy's handwriting easily and there was a after note in completely different handwriting that explained flutterbat's side of the story and sweatdropped at her mentors actions.
Yeah this is from fluttershy alright it's her handwriting so she had a long lost vampony twin sister and was taking her to her parents to finally meet but the princess ran into flutterbat alone and confused her for fluttershy. You knew fluttershy longer then I have would she lie about this" asked twilight confused.
"Yeah we knew her since she moved in and she's even worse at lying then I am if she sends a message then it's definitely true she can't even lie in her letters. But what I don't get is why the princess was in fillydelphia in the first place. Flutterbat said supernatural beings attract each other and we know how true that is what with tartarus and the everfree being near town" said applejack.
"Maybe the letter from the princess can tell us" said twilight.
She took the letter from spike and cleared her throat as she read the letter.
"Dear twilight On one of my rutine trips to check on the status of fillydelphea I ran into fluttershy only she looked very different and I could sense darkness on her being. She said a funny story about not being fluttershy but her lost twin sister but there was no fooling my magical senses I will admit she did pull off a flight speed worthy of rainbow dash which surprised me but a few moments later I tracked her to lunar beam's residence who must have been controlled to think he was fluttershy's farther. Lunar beam is the head of the night guard stationed at fillydelphea and actually told me he was resigning from the guard. I had no choice but to personally put him and fluttershy's mother shy heart under house arrest with my personal forcefield spell! I ask that you and the others track down fluttershy and use the elements to purge the dark influence on her. Signed princess celestia.... well looks like flutterbat was right the princess jumped to conclusions twins actually have very identical or similar magical fields which of it was for the twins at the spa being inversed of each other ponies wouldn't be able to tell them apart" said twilight.
A smaller note fell out of the note fluttershy sent.
"Huh p.s. ask about sunset shimmer and say you heard the name in passing in your younger years but was so busy with studies that you forgot to ask about her signed flutterbat." Read twilight blinking.
"Actually that bit is true I did hear that name in passing a few times" said twilight shocked.
"Applejack and pinkie go get rainbow and rarity were heading to canterlot" said twilight. That was all white knight needed to hear and flew off following her bond to her mistress.

Twilight and the mane six minus fluttershy headed over to canterlot and twilight hoped that asking about sunset shimmer under the guise of needing a destraction for what they are going to do was going to go without a hitch.
"Princess we came as quick as we could though I had to find dash first her random scedule makes finding her when she's needed hard" said twilight with a troubled look and not without a small glare at the pegasus.
"Being weather manager isn't as easy as you think! We have to carefully make sure the weather doesn't cause disaster like hurricanes or tornadoes. One mistake and it can get out of conttol! I know I seem lazy most of the time but you don't know how much stress comes with my job!" Said Rainbow glaring.
"Wait is that why you tend to be found sleeping most afternoons. You were trying to wind down for your job? Guess practicing for the wonderbolts also helps you relax" asked applejack surprised.
"Wow you learn something new everyday" said pinkie tilting her head.
"Girls pick up the elements I need to talk with the princess for a bit" said twilight and as the four mares went off twilight turned to her mentor as they went to the throne room.
" princess Celestia before we leave to track down fluttershy can you tell me about sunset shimmer? I heard the name in passing a few times but with my studies I couldn't find time to ask. the name sounds similar to mine in concept" said twilight and Celestia knew she was trying to get her mind off the task she set out.
"Sunset shimmer is the student I took before you. She was much like you only as she learned more she was starting to get impatient I tried to tell her that power wasn't everything but she didn't listen. One day she just vanished and I have no idea where she had gone. Her skill was fire magic which I should have remembered reflects the personality of ponies attuned to them. Like the magic she wields. If not handled carefully it can grow out of control her desires also grew out of control. Your talent is general magic but you are somewhat attuned to fire as well. Applejack sent a letter about your temper getting the better of you and had undergone a physical transformation. White fur with red eyes and your mane and tail became flames. Her exact description. Oddly she said your cutie mark vanished in this transformed state" said celestia.
"Really? I didn't even notice though that explains why I had soot on me when I tried to understand pinkie's sixth sense" said twilight.
Twilight sighed as they left canterlot and tried to think about where to find fluttershy.
"Girls I hate to admit it but the princess isn't looking at all the angles. I am getting a bad feeling that sooner or later my trust in the princess is going to be not as it was when I was studying under her in canterlot" said twilight.
"Dear we will still be by your side though I didn't know fluttershy had a twin sister. Though finding out she was half threstral is a surprise" said rarity.
"Not only that but this flutterbat is a naturally born vampony when from what I remember vamponies were usually created and it took centuries before they had rational thought again. They were formed by a curse placed on a settlement of ponies some 300 years back in what's now known as transylmania it's very rare to be born one instead of cursed. Threstrals today are pegasus ponies that resemble vamponies just more nocturnal and don't even have a hint of vampirism in their being. The only reason I can think of how flutterbat is a vampony is that fluttershy's mother shy heart is decended from a vampony and it was by chance the blood woke in flutterbat. Otherwise she would look exactly like fluttershy and be hard to tell apart. Flutterbat must be in a black outfit as vamponies are drawn to those kind of outfits due to being masters of stealth. If the flutter twins as I'm now nicknaming the two are in hiding it is going to be a while to find them" said twilight.
"Why don't we try manehatten didn't fluttershy mentioning meeting flutterbat there for the first time in her letter? Plus wasn't the local coven there taken out so they may head to the place the coven used to be to hide" asked rainbow.
"Good thinking I can ask my cousin dark hunter and tell him that we are on the twins side. He's a friend of fluttershy's farther and works as a vampire hunter he was the one who took out that coven" said twilight.
"Wait lunar beam must have asked him to help fluttershy and flutterbat as well." Said pinkie thinking.
"Good thing I trust dark otherwise It would be hard to contact fluttershy" said twilight.
"I hope so Sugarcube or we might be in trouble" said applejack.
Dark Hunter sighed as he read his newspaper. The black unicorn with red eyes dressed in decidedly gothic clothes befitting his job consisting of a black cloak over a black vest and midnight blue dress shirt with black fake leather pants and boots with his emblem of a silver cross with bat wings acting as the sides showed as his trademark.
Growing up in manehatten his life used to be simple. Until his family was murdered by vampires. He was even bitten himself. But what he found out was that his talent involving dark magic had allowed him to keep his sanity. He acted as the cities protector making sure no pony ever ended up like he did as a child. Not even his cousins twilight and shining knew he was a vampony himself. He did learn how to not accidentally turn another pony and practiced so he could turn that off at will. Though when he actively turned his pet bird into a vampire it became his familiar. So it was a surprise when his raven Seeker became alert like when a vampony arrives but what was different was that it seemed curious and not on edge. A faint knock sounded on his Door and the hidden vampony opened the door finding identical for the most part twins. The pegasus in the yellow gown smiled kindly and the red eyed twin seemed to blink in shock.
"By Luna he looks a bit like twilight" said the black wearing twin indicating the two toned black and red mane.
"You know my cousin?" Asked Dark curious.
"Oh sorry how rude of us I'm flutterbat and this is my twin fluttershy" said the black wearing twin and it was then dark saw the other differences between them.
"Ah your the vampony my friend lunar asked me to create a history in this town! Why are you both here?" Asked dark confused.
"We had our worst fear happen. Princess celestia had ran into flutterbat here alone and thought she was a corrupted me. Even with the truth she jumped to conclusions. Now we are being hunted down because of it" said fluttershy.
"Ah I see now then miss flutterbat why don't you come in and get settled.... is that albino bat yours?" Asked dark spotting the albino bat flying to them.
"Yes she's mine. White knight I hope your okay" said flutterbat as her pet landed on her shoulder as both were led in.
They spent the next three hours getting to know each other when the door knocked and dark went to open the door.
It was his cousin twilight and the rest of her friends.
"Don't worry cousin were on fluttershy’s side in this mess we got her note" said twilight and the five were led to the living room where the five saw flutterbat and fluttershy.
"Phew good thing we found you both any idea on how we can clear up this mess" said twilight curious.
"The only Idea I got is the gala. From the distance I heard from something about seeing both of us at the same time" I said but suddenly flashed my head up with dark's as something hit our senses and the raven owned by the unicorn gave a harsh caw.
"Vamponies are headed this way" we both said surprised looking to the window.
"Hold up! Your a vampony yourself! That explains the eyes" I said giving dark a look.
"Dark you have a lot of explaining to do" said twilight giving her cousin a narrowed look.
"Later we got company" said dark pulling out his sword as he ran out and I followed him to see a veritable army of mindless vampires heading this way.
I frowned and pulled out crescent rose which unfolded to scythe mode surprising dark.
"By God's that's one big scythe" said dark.
"It also acts as a rifle gun" i informed cocking the round.
"Sis looks like you got to explain where you got that weapon" said Fluttershy from behind her friends.
"Later shy" I said before glaring at the Vamponies as my version of the stare triggered. The front row of unicorn Vamponies froze and tripped before they shook their heads looking visibly confused.
Then to our surprise they started using paralyzing Spells on their comrades and looked to me with a urgent expression.
"Miss! Quick use your gaze on them! It is able to break the vampony lords hypnosis on them!
"Okay I didn't expect having that kind of ability" I admitted as I kept using the stare on the stunned vamponies.
" You are just full of surprises flutterbat" dark drawled as the horde once free and sanity returned flew off after asking dark for how he deals with his vampirism.
"Trust me I'm as surprised as you are" I said putting away my crescent rose.
"Still only somepony on a equal level could break the hypnosis cast by the Lord of vamponies ruler of the vamponies who hates those that's not under his rule" dark mentioned knowing from personal experience facing what had to be this worlds version of count Dracula.
"Well I'm not normal to begin with. For one I'm half vampire fruit bat when it comes to my vampirism so fruit juice is what I need instead of blood. So consider me a vegan vampony" I deadpanned at him and he nodded as well that was a good point.
" And gives you the ability to lead a regular life if needed" dark agreed.
" Well now that mess is cleared up care to explain why your a vampony cousin" twilight's voice said a bit coldly from behind dark making him pale as he remembered his cousin and their friends was there.
"Your on your own there dark from what sis tells me twilight hates it when family keeps secrets from each other and you did blindside her with that secret. Though that does explain your eyes" I told him as I was now getting dragged by my sis who was going to grill me on my weapon.
" Well so far I like shy's sister I'm surprised she could really pass as Fluttershy with how identical they look not even the twins at the spa are that identical just looking the inverse of each other" rarity said amused.
" Well she's better than zypher breeze the lazy layabout is a lot annoying" rainbow said recalling the Pegasus with a wince.
"And not even me and my sisters look that alike which reminds me I need to send my siblings a letter limestone won't believe I'm friends with some vamponies" pinkie agreed.
" Limestone" asked rainbow.
" Yeah my family owns a rock farm so names tend to reflect that I'm the only one that doesn't follow that tradition" pinkie said giggling.
" Considering Rose Quarts is normally Pink don't be too sure about that!" I told her breifly stopping my explanation of crescent rose to turn my head to give pinkie a look.
"Good hearing then again she's part bat so I'm not that surprised." Applejack said blinking.
" Looks like twilight is done chewing out her cousin" rarity noted a eyebrow raised.
I walked over rolling my eyes.
"Trust me I hope her brother doesn't make the mistake of letting her know he's getting married at the last minute I saw what happened when that happened to a friend of mine before she went into a tirade about it and publicly chewed him out about being the last to know of the family. Gale never let her brother live that one down" I said.
Dark looked over at me at that.
" You know Gale twist and her brother? Huh small world as they live nearby my place and help me with defending Manehattan from rogue vamponies" dark mused.
" Whirlwind of energy, can't stop talking at times and seem to always be hyped on caffeine in the mornings? Yeah were friends but not as close as others" I asked wondering how one of my few aquaintences got here.
" That's her alright. She and her brother and the in law sister arrived at my place looking for a friend though I wonder how you know two hedgehogs and a hawk" dark asked.
" Long story short I'm technically Fluttershy from another universe so it stands to reason somehow my friends followed me here and before you lot ask I'm technically the result of what happens when you try to change a swarm of fruit bats natural behavior with magic! Those instincts had to go somewhere" I told twilight and her friends deadpanned as I gave Applejack a pointed look.
"Why are you looking at me for" Applejack asked.
" In my world you were the one who instigated it after growing a huge house sized Apple for a contest and convinced through peer pressure to have me use the stare on the bats while twilight caught up in a chance for research was the one who cast the spell. So fair warning from me when the expert on animal behavior and biology suggests something listen or you risk turning Fluttershy into a more feral version of me as I know the chance of that was high. Even though most of those instincts have left me I'm stuck with a constant reminder" I told her and both mares paled as dark facepalmed.
" Yeah that's sounds like something twilight would do not thinking of the concequences in the heat of the moment. So cousin let flutterbat be a reminder what not to do" dark said.
" Rarity was also the one who gave me my current name so I couldn't be confused for her" I said pointing at my sister. Of course I wasn't being completely truthful of my actual origins but I was only trusting Fluttershy with that as well I am currently genetically mostly her so I'm falling back on what would have happened as my puplic history in this universe.
Something I'm glad Fluttershy realizes as well I don't want to seem insane.
Plus Applejack is a terrible liar so trusting her to keep a secret is not a option.
Still we worked out the details of fixing this mess while I also commissioned rarity for new clothes seeing as I had just the one set. Plus some undergarments as the transfer did somehow leave me without any.
That said tommorow I'm meeting up with my friends so I can find out how they ended up here and by the sounds of things the three ended up as Sonic the hedgehog characters.
I took a deep breath as I stood outside a modest appartment as I looked around. It was pretty neat how the building looked. It was at fifteen floors with a canterlot like look and made of white marble. I was alone as I wanted to make sure my friends won’t let on our secret of used to be human to anyone as well I was still going to only trust Fluttershy with that for now. I thought back to how I met gale and her family.
You see I forgotten to mention that the day I was born the plane had a engine failure and my mother after the stress of giving birth died from the rapid decent while my father sacrificed his life to restart the engine leaving me an orphan.
It was at the orphanage that I met Gale and her brother Swift who quickly became the closest I ever known to family. And Swift met his wife breeze when while drunk he picked a fight with a biker gang that turned out she was the leader of. The sheer gall Swift had to pick a fight with her caught breeze’s attention and the more the two got to know each other the more they got close. The wedding was interesting I’ll say that much because if I go into detail I won’t be able to believe it and I was right there. It was just that insane. Shaking my head out of memory lane I entered the building.
Luckily Dark gave me the appartment address so I headed on up and smiled. I had to be honest I have missed Gale and her family as they were the closest I had to actual family before I was adopted by fluttershy’s family. Finding the right appartment I knocked on the door hoping they were home.
The door opened revealing a lilac humaniod female mobian hedgehog with blue eyes and had a mane of purple hair dressed in a tracksuit that was blue open to reveal a black sports bra and had Sonic styled silver shoes.
“Yes can I help you?” Asked the hedgehog with a new York accent.
" Gale you have no idea how long I missed you” I said hugging her.
" Wait do I know you?” Gale asked.
" I may look and sound different Gale but it’s me sky” I told her looking at her in the eye as I pulled back.
" Sky? How do I know you really are her” asked Gale narrowing her eyes.
In response I pulled out my phone showing a background image of a brown haired American girl with Japanese clothes hugging a purple haired girl wearing a Sonic the hedgehog hoodie.
“Who else would know how you like dressing up in anything Sonic related while practicing the guitar after getting hooked on Sonic underground” I deadpanned.
" Sky! It is you! Why are you a bat winged Pegasus?” Gale went wide eyed before tilting her head confused.
" I went to a convention as flutterbat the version of Fluttershy who ended up with vampire fruit bat instincts bought this dress because my costume didn’t really hide my figure next thing I know I’m waking up in the everfree as a not feral vampony who’s diet is fruit not blood. Now I’m fluttershy’s twin sister. Going by flutterbat so we won’t get confused name wise” I explained.
" Phew glad your sane so what’s her family like” asked Gale.
" Pretty cool. Here her dad is head of the night guard and we both know what zypher is like. Is Swift and breeze here” I asked.
" Yeah bro and sis are up and preparing breakfast” Gale said motioning me in.
Inside was a apartment that had four bedrooms, a living room, a laundry room and a kitchen with a bathroom down a hall. Setting the table was a female mobian hawk with blue feathers dressed in a sports bra like Gale but in grey with black shorts and sneakers on her feet. In the kitchen was a male hedgehog dressed in a black bodysuit as his fur and spines was Orange.
“Hey breeze! Swift! Look who found us” Gale called grinning.
Breeze the hawk turned and blinked at the obvious vampony who entered with Gale.
“Hey breeze still keeping Swift out of trouble? I still remember last may when he got drunk and tried to fight a biker gang again” I said to help them realize who I am.
“Wait Swift did what!” Gale asked glaring at her brother.
“Sky I thought we agreed never to speak of that again” Swift said before realizing what he said and quickly turned off the stove and looked right at me.
" Name’s flutterbat now guys new world new start right besides how did you explain to Gale how you and breeze met?” I said giggling.
" Yeah that’s you alright how have you been hun” breeze said giving me a warm smile.
" Besides happy I now have a twin sister and family? Not so much the local sun goddess mistook me for my sis and thought I’m a corrupted version of her so now me and shy are hiding in manehatten until the grand galloping gala to hopefully fix this mess. So I already told Gale how I ended up here but how did you three get here? That’s honestly what’s on my mind since Dark told me you were here” I asked quite curious.
" Ah that... Honestly it is a bit of a long story. See you went missing for two years back home and sis here didn’t believe you dead after the search was called off so we went to a convention to take our minds off it when we came across this Chinese guy named yang who was selling things. I bought a set of replica chaos emeralds, sis bought copies of the medallions from sonic underground while breeze bought a sword when next thing we know we wake up in dark’s office been here for about a week. Oh and Gale brought with her your birthday gifts for the years you missed” Swift recapped.
" Two years! I’ve only been here for two weeks!” I said shocked.
" Wait what! That’s very strange” Gale said surprised.
" Well glad we found you sky but have you seen blitz? He was with us when we went to the convention and he bought a set of Sonic and the black knight swords” breeze asked.
Blitz was another friend of ours who gale met at her job and they hit it off that i wouldn't be surprised they got married the two just sort of clicked. Blitz and gale both worked as blacksmiths so it surprisingly worked out quite well.
" What Gale’s Boyfriend? No I haven’t heard anything I assume he’s a mobian as well?” I asked concerned. Blitz was like a brother to me once he entered the group so if he’s missing I wanted to try and find him.
“He went as knight of the wind sonic so he should stand out but between vamponies and helping dark we haven’t had time to properly look” Swift said frowning.
" Well I’m able to help on the vampony thing turns out I can break the thrall the local count Dracula puts on vamponies and free them. I found this out yesterday when I freed two hundred of them with a stare. So if they stay in contact I can ask them to keep a look out. They are pretty sane without the mind control” I mentioned.
" That reminds me how are you a vampony” breeze asked.
“Remember how Fluttershy became part bat in the show? I went to a convention as that version of Fluttershy” I deadpanned.
" Oh kind of obvious now that I think about it. So when are we timeline wise?” Breeze asked.
" Recently twilight got tickets to the grand galloping gala so fairly early season one which reminds me I only told Fluttershy my actual origins as well since im now genetically her twin shes family. I went with the story of me being a alternate Fluttershy so please don’t mention our lives on Earth around the elements as applejack is a terrible liar and not good with secrets” I said.
" That’s a good point we don’t know enough about our situation so keeping our real origins secret until we know more is probably a good idea” Swift nodded.
" Oh yeah here you go figured you might like these” said Gale handing me a custom madalion of a pony head with red eyes. When I touched it it suddenly transformed into a accoustic guitar shaped like me.
The other item I was handed was a Chao egg in a container.
“Since our replicas became real I figured you would like these” Gale said.
" Uh wow guess white knight will have her own friend soon” I said surprised wondering what the Chao will be like once it hatched.
" White knight?” Asked Gale.
“Bought a albino bat plush and it became a real bat here so she’s my pet/familiar she’s a sweetie but not one for mornings which is understandable” I said looking at my purse which held the snoozing form of White Knight.
" So need any back up for the gala” asked Swift.
“Possibly this is jump to conclusions and fights threats to her ponies Celestia we are talking about. She thought I hypnotized mom and dad and has them under forced house arrest right now. The gala isn’t for three months from now and a lot can happen in that time” I said as well the princess of the sun scares me at the moment.
“So the plan is just show up with Fluttershy and prove her wrong that way?” Gale asked.
" And tell her I’m not the blood drinking kind of vampony as I told dark I’m more a vegan vampony since I just eat fruit as my diet” I deadpanned.
" Ah right fruit bat” breeze nodded.
“Still nice to know you guys are here with me I don’t want to know if I could handle this situation on my own with sis” I said as I really do like shy as a sister and we are family no denying that.
“Speaking of can we meet shy and the others?” Asked breeze.
" They are on their way now oddly enough since me and shy agreed to be family we’ve been able to tell where the other is and shy is getting closer” I said though frowning as well shy was heading here almost sonic rainboom fast.
“Open the window something is wrong if shy is heading here at near sonic rainboom speed” I said rushing to do just that and ducked as Fluttershy holding Twilight who was carrying the others sans rainbow who flew in looking panicked as I closed the window.
“Sis what happened!” I asked seeing everyone looked injured.
“Robots are attacking Manehattan that’s what they are shooting lasers that turn anything they hit into metal. We are lucky they have terrible aim” Spike answered already using the first aide kit breeze got to tend to rarity.
“The leader was some mechanical pony calling himself doctor ivo metallous” dark informed.
" Oh great the local version of doctor ivo robotnik my guess he’s after a large source of energy to power his machines” Swift guessed rolling his eyes.
" Great he must be after the seven chaos emeralds you hold bro” Gale said looking annoyed.
" I’ll explain what that is after we drive metallous out of Manehattan” I said to the confused ponies as I returned my new guitar to it’s medallion form and followed my three friends outside as I grabbed crescent rose.
No one hurts my family and gets away with it. Besides robots are acceptable targets for my weapon and I don’t have to worry about hurting someone in the process.
It did not take us long to find the epicenter of this panic and I sighed as I got a good look at the doc. He was an earth pony but what really stood out was his completely mechanical body and red on black eyes with his emblem being interlocking gears and his army was definitely looking based off the badniks from the sonic series just not as goofy or cute looking... And as Rainbow said they have terrible aim when it came to shooting people. Buildings and trees though became solid chrome on being hit.
I counted up the robots and sighed.
“Okay there are around four hundred of the things way too many for us to take on if we were normal but well the four of us never actually fought before I can distract about a fourth of them sure” I said frowning as I pulled out crescent rose.
Swift reluctantly agreed.
“Yeah I maybe super fast now but I still have trouble with avoiding obstacles” Swift admitted.
" With our skills we can at most take out half the army before getting overwhelmed we need a bit of an equalizer " breeze agreed.
Gale and dark nodded not liking these odds.
That was until something hit me upside my head and landed in my hand. I blinked as I saw it was a golden autobot insignia as a voice sounded out in my head.
“To all Displaced out in the multiverse, my name is Optimus Prime, if you need my aid, then simply crush this token, and I will aid you in your darkest hour!”
" What the heck is a displaced? But if this token can help us then we might have just got our equalizer.” I said rubbing my head.
Sharing a look we nodded.
“Okay Optimus we need some help taking out some robots so any help is appreciated!” I said before I used crescent rose to crush the token as we jumped to confront metallous and his army of machines!
As a portal appeared in between us as two vehicles came out, one a white cubed shaped truck, the other a orange jet, both speeding out of the portal then the sound of shifting gears was heard as they both changed into two giant robots, one looked like Optimus, he was all white except for his face mask which was blue while his eyes were a ruby red, the other was female, she had red hair and bright blue optic, she looked to be wearing a metallic skirt. Both seemed to scan the area, then their eyes landed on me and my friends.
“Okay when I heard Optimus prime I thought it was the classic red and blue” I admitted tilting my head.
" You were not the only one” Gale said.
“Nice to meet you I’m Swift the other hedgehog is my sister Gale the hawk is my wife Breeze and this is our friend Flutterbat. The unicorn is Dark Hunter” Swift said waving to the two.
" That looked like a dimensional gateway spell but didn’t feel magic from it at all” Dark mused.
" Yep you are Twilight’s cousin alright. Anyway we got about four hundred robots armed with guns that convert anything they hit to metal. All led by a guy calling himself Doctor Metallous. Lucky us the robots have bad aim. Though it’s only a matter of time before they hit someone” I said pointing a wing at the army we were heading to. I switched crescent rose to rifle mode as my friends pulled out their weapons.
“Thanks for the info, and judging by the way the robots look I’d say they’re pretty easy to handle. Also sorry to disappoint but lost my old body, long story.” Optimus said his hand switching to a blue glowing ax while the other one had a giant hammer,. “Let’s go.” then he and the girl charged at the army slicing or crushing them. Metallous ordered his robots to fight back, which they did poorly as they kept missing,
“Oh come one! They’re like the size of buildings!!” Metallous shouted in rag “Man these things are terrible shots, I bet they can’t even hit the side of a barn.” the girl said, slamming her hammer down on a bunch of robots. “It’s hammer time!!”
“They can too hit the side of a barn, there one now!” he said pointing at a torn barn. The bots fired at it, only to not come close to hitting it.
We all deadpan,
“I’m really betting he’s the local version of eggman. How these guys injured fluttershy and the others I have no clue” I said as I sniped ten with one bullet. This was at least good accuracy training.
“It was mainly debris from the surroundings… And who in tartarus is eggman” Mettalous admitted.
“A guy from the dimension we are from who has a similar army. Just similar enough it was just numbers that is giving us trouble” swift answered dodging the badnik copies.
“And he at least had robots that can put up a decent fight. He even had one that can basically turn into a giant creature of mass destruction.” Optimus said, crushing a Badnik copy under his foot.
“Please don’t give him ideas… Though I am wondering why he is a mechanical pony in the first place” I said frowning.
“Blame princess celestia she told me the magic I was studying was to unstable but I did stabize it if she didn’t accidently broke off my horn when charging into the room I wouldn’t be in this state!” Metallous informed.
“Oh so you have issues with celestia too. I swear just because I’m a vampony version of fluttershy doesn’t mean I am her. Lucky we can clear that up at the gala” I said.
“Huh, I can relate to Celestia trying to attack you for what you can or what you are, when I got here I beat Discord but later befriended him, he gave some Chaos magic and when old sun butt saw me use it, she immediately went on a ‘he uses Chaos magic let’s kill him’ fit.”
We gave optimus looks.
“That hasn’t happened as far as I know and my cousin is her personal student” dark said.
“Wait that ensignia said something about displaced… Are there multiple equestrians?” I asked.
“Will explain later, as these things learned how to aim.” Optimus said, ducking behind a building as multiple badniks fired on him, he returned fire while the girl spun her hammer really fast deflecting the blasts.
“Fair enough time to reap some bots” I said going scythe mode before flying at the bots and becoming a whirlwind.
“She learns fast though aren’t you made of metal optimus? Their guns shouldn’t even affect you” dark said.
He just stood there looking at Dark, “You serious, just because I’m made of metal doesn’t mean their guns won’t harden my gears and servos to where I’m basically a talking statue.”
“I didn’t design them to make solid statues just convert ponies to be in a similar state to me misery loves company” metallous informed.
“You need therapy” me, breeze, gale and swift deadpanned before we finished off the last of the badniks.
“Plus couldn’t you have asked twilight to see about reversing the backfired spell on you before deciding to weaponize your accident?” I asked resting my scythe sniper rifle on my shoulder.
“I tried to but well something set off my gollems into firing randomly” metallous sheepishly replied.
“Must have been the chaos energy I’m holding seven magic gems that give off chaos like magic that might have caused it” swift said.
“Idiot, you might have given him an idea on the emeralds, he could be planning something right now.” The girl said, lightly slapping Swift upside the head gently due to her being made of metal and being huge.
“Actually I just want to return to normal if those emeralds work like the elements of harmony there might just be a way to restore me to normal. I only built these gollems because people run on seeing me and causing a panic it was mainly to try and keep me safe” mettalous said.
“So pinkie likely over dramatized the situation. I’m going to double team her with sis to punish her” I said facepalming.
“So why nearly four hundred robots?” Dark asked.
“Well me and my friend could help as we are basically machines, and know a thing or two about magic and energy.” Optimus said with his arms crossed and leaning against a building. “And wouldn’t have four hundred robots if you were nearly all machine and ponies think you a freak of nature, not to mention crazy ponies bent on advanced evolution might experiment on him.”
“I developed a gollem for a project and when I was infusing metal into it celestia caused my horn to break and I ended up this. The only reason there was so many was that the gollem wandered off and found a cloning pond of all things. I was keeping them in line due to having set a master control in the gollem.” Metallous deadpanned.
“Well lucky us we got the elements of harmony. So if anything else we can fix the damage to the area” I said looking around at the now metal plaza of manehatten. It was at this point fluttershy and her friends arrived and I leveled pinkie with a Look.
“Pinkie are you even aware he was trying to ask you guys for help because his state was a spell massively backfiring on him?” I told the pink mare not amused.
“Wait so he wasn’t an evil mad scientist bent on world domination? Whoops” pinkie said shrinking as fluttershy joined me in the Look.
“Let’s just grab the elements and try to get this situation cleared up I’m starting to feel a migraine from today” twilight sighed.
“You have no idea any way the big guy here is optimus prime and no offense but I don’t think his friend here introduced herself” I said motioning to optimus.
“My name is Sari Sumdac, from the Transformers Animated show. And I believe someone still owes an explanation on Displaced.”
" Yeah what is Displaced that Token thing mentioned that but I don’t really know what that really is” I said frowning.
“I’ll explain it somewhere we won’t draw attention from a certain sum goddess.” he said, “But first, we need to shrink down, know any spells?”
“I got one so don’t worry about that it is just a mass compression spell.” Twilight said her horn glowing before the two were suddenly our height in a literal flash.
“Thank you, now let’s go before the cursed reporters or worse paparazzi show up.” Optimus said, to which all nodded.
With that we relocated to dark’s office. The vampony unicorn detective gave the two a look.
“So what exactly are Displaced” he asked.
“Well Displaced is short for Dimensionally Misplaced, is a person who went to a party or Con dressed as their favorite characters, like me, and we meet a person who just so happens to have an item that suits our costume, or was a missing piece of said costume. They are called Displacers, and why they do this unknown. So when a person buys something from them, they immediately get sent to a different version of Equestria, like this one were all the ponies are anthro. And you think that would be it but no, the costume wearing, you become that being you went as, like me. And there is no way home.”
“Oh you mean like flutterbat!” Pinkie said making me and Fluttershy stare at her.
" You knew!” We both asked shocked.
“Yes, like Flutterbat, but each Displaced also gets sent to a different time in Equestria, like before Nightmare Moon or before the princesses themselves. But not many are good, some are evil while others are somewhat good. Be lucky you didn’t summon a crazed Displaced, sometimes the thought of never seeing your family can drive one insane.” Sari said, obviously thinking.
" Don’t have to worry about that with me I didn’t have a family at all except for Gale, breeze and Swift here. And guess Gale’s Boyfriend is somewhere in a different Equestria. Besides Fluttershy and I are definitely sisters I’m practically her after all” I said smiling.
“That’s good to hear, I’ve heard of Displaced becoming either a sister, brother or father/ mother to most of the Main 6 or princesses. Now, tell me, I can tell when one is in trouble, need any help?” Optimus asked me.
" Well besides celestia confusing me for a corrupted Fluttershy we already have a plan to clear up the issue. We are before the grand galloping gala by three months. So that is going to be interesting. And If you’re wondering I bought a dress cause of an issue with my costume and I ended up running into sis just after the dragon causing a dark sky event. My suit was pretty skintight so I needed the dress to not give perverts ideas, my name used to be skyline”
“Well nice to meet you Skyline, my name is James, and I think you made the right call on the dress, and what about the scythe/rifle, bought that too?”
“Not from the displacer I bought a replica of crescent rose from RWBY along side a albino bat plushy and a purse before the dress. The only thing I did buy from the displacer was my outfit. Gale and her family ended up displaced two years after I did when to me it was two months” I said.
“Hmm, yes time works differently for us Displaced, so, think you can use my help, I could teach how to defend yourself against Celestia in case things don’t go as planned, and I wasn’t kidding about us being bodyguards, trust me, Celestia is no joke, the show did her no justice, she is more powerful than what the show described her.”
“Maybe for your Celestia but ours is like the show only has a tendency to jump to conclusions and having a stubborn streak. Once I show up to the gala with Fluttershy we might shock her into actually listening this time” I said.
“Still, better safe than sorry. And what if she thinks you are justing using an illusion.”
“For one I’m a Pegasus no unicorn magic for that and secondly Celestia isnt that bad just needs solid proof. Plus we look too identical with minor differences that even a doppleganger can’t copy.”
“Alright, just offering my help. But I can see you have everything thought out.” James said,
“So what was that whole token thing about?” Gale asked.
“Ah yes, the Token is a way for Displaced to communicate, not like a phone, but a teleporter, anyone can make one. They just have to picture what they want it to look like, something that relates to them, like the golden Autobots symbol is to me, and insert their message, then the Void will do the rest, sending out copies of said to every Displaced. I can help make one if you want, but what you want it to look like and what message you Displaced to hear is up to you.”
" I got one in mind for myself but can I also make a shared token with Gale and her family? We just got reunited today and I don’t want to separate from them just yet” I asked.
“That can happen, after all, most Displaced often have friends or family with them so they often use on Token for all of them. Like the Power Rangers for example, if they each had an individual Token it would be a pain for them and the summoner. So one Token for a whole team is the best idea, it would teleport all of you to the summoner.” Sari said, which James nodded in agreement.
“Then for my solo token I’m using my cutie mark pendent I made before I went to the convention that should really make sure people know who they are summoning” I said taking said necklace off.
“Alright just hand it here, and I’ll give it a little void energy, then you can say your message.” James said.
I did so and I had just the message in mind as I looked to Fluttershy.
“Alright, stand back a little, this is the first time I’m helping someone make Token.” we did as he closed his eyes, a strange glow surrounded the necklace as it began to hover in his hand. Opening his eyes, we could see that he was exhausted. “Done, now state your message.” he brought the necklace close to me.
“My name is flutterbat if you need a kind shoulder to listen to or just someone to vent give me a call but those with ill intent beware my anger for I will give them a lesson they won’t forget” I said clearly.
A portal opened up next to James, he tossed the Token in as it fell back out before it closes. We looked at him confused. “It does that so that way you have one to give to a Displaced you summoned.”
“Right are you up to helping with our group Token? You look dead on your feet” Gale asked concerned.
“I can try, but it’s not up to me on what your Token is, just focus on what you want it to look like. And I might be a little exhausted after giving Flutterbat Token a little void energy.” James said as Sari helped him stay on his feet.
“Don’t worry we got a feel of the energy so we can help take the strain” twilight said motioning to her cousin.
" It feels a lot like dimensional space/time magic so we should be able to pull it off” dark nodded.
“I’m just gonna say it, Eggheads!” James shouted, “Sometimes hearing some speak smart can give a guy a headache.”
" Wow he actually beat me on saying it” Rainbow said surprised.
“Of course, I came from a Equestria too, so I know what a Rainbow Dash is thinking.” James said, raising his fist for fist bump, “But I know that if a Rainbow Dash that can perform a Rainboom, is awesome.” just before Rainbow returned the fist bump, I saw a ring around James’ finger.
“Well good to know i will master the move at some point” Rainbow said beaming.
" So you two an item? I can see the wedding rings” I said raising an eyebrow.
“Yes, but we were married after...a terrible war.” James said as he and Sari tensed, I could even see Sari tremble a little.
" By that look it must have been like that stop motion transformers prime time video on YouTube. Only with multiple Megatron’s as the enemy” I said.
“We wished it was only them back then, but the person that caused so much pain was Quintessa.” Sari said, anger in her voice.
" Oh God a quintesson? What did those split personality jerks do this time try to revive Unicron again?” I said with a groan.
“Actually, it was only Quintessa, and she used Primus to kill Unicron, and used James to try and kill his friends. She caused so much pain and suffering.”
“So lead up from armarda into energon into Cybertron of the series did you have to deal with that black hole issue?” I asked.
“No, never watched Energon, but we did lead and Armada against her, but what is a few ships against a god? We even had two Displaced help us. We...barely survived, but the Swift thinking of Ed, a Displaced who I call a brother, she now suffers in a place worse than Tartarus. But the damage was done, she corrupted me, turning against my friends, I nearly killed them.” James said, his fist clenched in anger,
“So you ended up in a nemesis prime situation. Can’t imagine how that feels I mean I am a vampony version of sis at least I’m not feral” I said knowing how that could have gone.
“Trust me, you don’t want to know. She not only corrupted me, but put her mind inside my body, so when we were in a place where Ed’s friend Truth lives, I couldn’t leave, so I lost a body but gained a new one, the one you see now, but even with a new body, the scars are ever present.”
" Huh so you know the Fullmetal alchemist? Guess there is a lot out there” I said smiling.
“Yes, but the past is in the past, for now, let’s see if we can work on that Token shall we.” James said.
Gale looked to her siblings and shared a nod before they each pulled out a new medallion that had a tornado as it’s shape.
“Seeing as the four of us have names referring to the sky or a aspect of it this feels appropriate” Gale said.
“Alright, hand them over, I’ll fill them with void energy.” like before, James was given the medallions then he began to fill them void energy. “And done!” he said, with what looked sweat covered his head, “Now state your message.”
Sharing a look the four of us nodded.
“We are the Whirlwinds if you need someone to jam with give us a call and if you want a friend don’t look too far” we said.
Then another portal appeared, tossing them in as another fell out, they could briefly see the Tokens split into billions before the portal closed. We heard a loud thud and looked to see James had collapsed, just barely staying awake.
“Sari he’s pushed himself too far hasn’t he?” I deadpanned.
“Yes, but he is okay, just needs some Energon and a good night’s sleep.” Sari said kneeling down to James.
" So I’m a bit curious you look very different from the sari sumdac we grew up on. For one you look fully cybertronian instead of a human hybrid?” Breeze asked tilting her head.
“Well, during the war, I was just too easy of a target being mostly human, so with help of Transformers Prime Megatron and Soundwave, yes they are our side, I built a machine similar to the one Blackarachnia made to change Wasp in to Waspinator, but without the whole going crazy and malfunctioning part, so using it I became this.” Sari said, “Hey, do you think we could spend the night here? We kinda were in the Equestria Girls world, so we have no place to stay.”
" Oh you mean where sunset shimmer is? Huh that sounds interesting” twilight said.
" I hinted to twilight to ask about her to distract Celestia while they got the elements” I explained.
“Good call.” Sari said, giving James a cube of Energon after she deactivated the faceplate, “Is it weird how a G1 Optimus looks without the faceplate?”
" Not really Optimus primal got us used to that kind of thing. Anyway good night because twilight looks to be wanting an explanation from me and Fluttershy on why we technically lied to them” I said as said unicorn dragged us off.
One explanation and night later I looked at Optimus.
“So Optimus let’s both agree that next time you help make tokens that it might be better to teach the displaced how to access the void energy themselves because apparently for now one is your limit for a while. So now that I properly scolded you on how reckless that was, how do I send you two back?” I asked.
“Just hold my Token in front of you and the Void will create a portal.” James said
" Uh how the Token made itself into the portal you came from and you said to crush it in that message so how am I going to send you back if the token isn’t present? It’s not like saying something like contract complete would do it” I said only for a portal to open up.
" You have to be kidding! It was that easy” I deadpanned in surprise.
“Basically. Though sometimes it’s something different.” James said, then twin bolts of lightning came from the portal and struck the two Autobots, though it didn’t look like it hurt, that’s when the two began to glow. When the glow went away, standing in front of us were two humans. One was Sari as a human, while the other had a white leather jacket with a black v-neck shirt underneath, white jeans, along with white sneakers, he had white slick back hair with a single bang over his right eye, and he had ruby red eyes.
“Well later guys we’ll call if you want to hang out or need someone to listen to” I said smiling.
“Sure thing, and good luck with Celestia and helping Metallous.” James said as he and Sari entered the portal.
With that the portal collapsed leaving the autobot insignia back in the condition I received it as I picked it up. “Well today has been strange but I think it was worth it” I said as dark stumbled out still not a morning person.
“Well got a case guys so we better get going Mettalous is waiting outside the city so we better get his case done before we focus on Celestia” Dark said leading us off.
