UNSC Frigate Timelane was investigating an new planet just outside the covenant controlled territory, this is going to be epic
The UNSC Timelane is a frigate that has been sent on a mission to find out what this new planet right next to Covenant territory has and if it can be used. But what they don't expect is Equestria begging for help needing their help, Demon Skull squad is on the case.
This is a Halo/MLP crossover, I do not own ether Halo nor mlp, Demon Skulls are my own squad, sorry if they are someone else's. Anyway hope you enjoy the story and have a great day/night.
The ship is in slipspace, most of the crew were in their cryo pods, except for the skeleton crew, and the ODST squad Demon Skulls.
They were in the barracks playing poker, The first squad member is Baker, he is the tech and he uses a smg, magnum pair.
The big guns of the squad is Macy, she loves her machine gun, more then any man she has ever met.
The sniper of the group is Yori, he uses a sniper riffle battle riffle combo.
The rocket of the squad is Trevor, but the call him Trev, he uses a rocket launcher and assault riffle pair.
The close up and personal gale is Helen, she uses a shotgun, assault riffle pair to mow down enemies.
The leader of this fierce squad is Mord, he uses a SAW and DMR combo, he also has an energy sword that he stole from an elite at 7, he is now 23, he also has one eye, his right one, the other is mechanical.
Macy was about to win the game with a full house until they heard over the ship's speakers, "Attention all crew members, exiting slipspace in 10 minutes, get your a*ses in gear and get to battle stations asap!"
Yori said, "A**t, now we got to get off our a*ses."
Mord said, "You heard the captain, gear up and move out before everyone from the cryo pods crowd the hallways."
Trev said, " But sir-" .
"That was an order Trev."
He replied, "Yes sir!" In less than a minute they were geared up and making their way to the drop pods.
Baker asked everyone, "Guys, you all know my wife, Asa?"
Macy replied, "Of we do, she was one of the nicest people we have ever met, what about her?"
He continued, "Well, I just found out that she is pregnant."
They all yelled out, "Congrats man!"
Mord said, "Congrats on fatherhood soldier."
He replied, "It is a girl."
Trev said, "That is good to hear dude."
They heard over the speakers, "Warning covenant cruiser in orbit, battle stations NOW, ODST's, get ready to drop."
They were in the drop pod bay, they lined up ready to hear Mord to brief them on the mission, he said, "Demons. We are about to go to an unknown planet with primitive cities, we don't know if the life on that planet is allied with the covenant, or if they are prisoners. Ether way, don't shoot them unless fired upon.
Oh the local species are little multi colored horses, trust me it sounds weird, but it is the truth. We are going to land in a city made out of crystals, yes crystals.
We are going to take over the castle in that city and exterminate all the covenant we can until reinforcements arrive, then it will be easy, the rest will be told when we capture the city, dismissed!"
They made their ways to the drop pods, but Baker walked up to Mord and said, "Sir, permission to speak freely."
He replied, "Granted."
" Sir, I am more nervous about this mission then when I went on my first mission. I don't want to leave my daughter without a father like I was."
He replied, "Baker, just as long as you stick with us and remember your training you will NOT leave her without a dad."
He replied, "Thanks Mord sir." Mord just stepped into the pod and closed it, as did Baker a few seconds later.
The captain said over the radio, "Demon squad punch out now." They pushed the drop button in their pods and were free falling to the planet.
Helen yelled over the radio, "I LOVE THIS PART!!!"
A few minutes later Demon squad landed in the empire, Mord readied his DMR and punched out, there were two jackals and a grunt right in front, he pulled the trigger and they were dead.
A few elites heard the shots and pointed their weapons to the pod, there was nothing in front or in the pod.
An elite minor slowly crept to the pod, though Mord jumped off a nearby roof and landed on the elite, the other elites took aim and fired, although Mord turned the elite and aimed his saw over the elite's shoulder.
The plasma cooked the shields and killed the elite, though Mord killed one of them before that happened. He jumped off the falling elite and sprayed his saw on the last elite. It's shields flared and it fell dead.
Mord leaped to the nearest cover and reloaded his gun, he yelled over the radio, "MEET UP AT THE CASTLE DEMONS, THAT'S AN ORDER!"
They all yelled over the radio, "Yes sir!"
Mord took in a deep breath and said, "I love the smell of war in the morning."
After killing about 10 elites and countless grunts, he made it to the castle.
It was heavily fortified by the ponies, they were fighting the covenant off, though it was failing badly, Mord said over the radio, "Do not fire upon the ponies, I repeat do not fire upon the ponies, captain, they're resisting the covies, permission to help."
Captain Rico replied, "Permission granted Demon squad, help those horses!"
Mord replied, "Yes sir!" He got from behind cover and fired three rounds from his DMR, it hit two grunts and a jackal who died instantly. A few of the elites noticed and fired their storm riffles at him, Mord armed a grenade and threw it before leaping to different cover.
He heard the explosion and looked at the crater, two of those elites died while one was yelling in pain from having his legs blown off. Mord aimed his DMR at the elite's head and fired, it died and was spared a lot of pain.
His squad was making work of the rest of the Covenant, they looked surprised at how easily we were killing them and were unsure if they would attack us or not, some of them looked like they were made of crystal, which baffled Mord, he thought, "Later I am going to ask them how that is possible."
He looked to his right and saw two hunters about to fire their fuel rod canons, quickly Mord ran towards them and unslung his saw.
He fired a few rounds at the hunters which did nothing but make them mad, he saw the deadly green balls of death, he jumped over one and slid under the second one, he wasn't even phased by them.
Just as the hunters were about to charge up Mord climbed on the right one's back and shoved an armed grenade, he leap to the left hunter and did the same thing to it.
Mord jumped onto a roof and slid down to the other side of the house, The hunters stopped for a second and blew up sending little bits of their armor all around, and the entire street was covered in orange blood.
Mord rejoined his squad who were staring in aw from how bada*s he killed the hunters, he said, "Now you all know one of the things that got me to command all of you."
One of the guards walked up to the squad, he had white fur, a blue mane, and purple armor, he asked, "Who are you?"
Mord walked up to him and replied, "What is the name of this place?"
"Equestria, this is the Crystal Empire."
" Really? You put 2 seconds into that name."
"I didn't make the name."
"Anyway, we have a saying, the enemy of my enemy is my friend, the Covenant are our enemies and it looks like they are now yours, right?"
He replied, "Yes, they came and have been trying to take us all for slave labor."
Mord replied, "For now you have made a friend, I will relay this to the frigate."
The stallion asked, "What is a frigate?"
Mord looked at him and said, "I'll explain later, who is your commander?"
He replied, "I am, Capt. Shining Armor of the royal guard."
Mord replied, "Well Captain, we are the Demon skulls, the most bada*s ODST squad out there, fyi ODST mean orbital drop shock trooper, and we will help you."
Baker yelled, "Hey, sorry to spoil the tea party, but we got reinforcements incoming!"
Mord told Shining, "Keep this area secure, me and my men will take back this place, but keep the castle out of Covenant control."
They started to head towards the drop point, Shining asked his stallions," What the buck just happened?"
After killing a bunch of covies they got the the drop point, there were easily a hundred marines on the ground ready to fight, Trev said, "wow, this is a lot for the first wave."
Mord replied, "Of course, we could get new allies and a new planet, the captain wants this planet under UNSC protection."
Mord yelled out, "ATTENTION MARINES, WE ARE ABOUT TO GO INTO AN ALIEN CITY, DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT FIRE UPON THE PONIES, THEY ARE FIGHTING THE COVIES TO. BESIDES THAT, KILL THEM ALL MARINES!"
The battle was about thirty minutes, there weren't that many covies there.
The UNSC has set up a HQ in the empire's castle, Shining and Cadence welcomed it after they saved their lives. The captain said that the fight for Ponyville will be in about a day, they need to get some vehicles out thereif we are to win. Shining and Mord were walking down the halls towards the bar because Mord was on break.
Mord asked Shining, "Where are the ponies that HAVE been taken?"
He replied, "The covies, as you all call them have set up a giant prison camp next to the town of Ponyville, none of us can penetrate it, but maybe your forces can."
Mord said, "How many wars have your kind fought?"
He replied, "We haven't had war in over a thousand years, this is really our first war, how long have you humans been fighting the covenant?"
Mord dipped his head down and replied, "Over 30 years, with loses over 70 billion."
Shining froze for a minute before he said, "30 years with how many deaths?!"
He replied, "Over 70 billion and the number is greater than that, but as far as I know 70 billion is it. That includes my entire family and my eye."
A tear fell off his check, Mord fell to his knees and cried, he was letting it all out. Shining sat down next to him and said, "I am sorry for your lose, but if it feels any better, the bar is about two hallways down, first round is on me."
Mord looked at him and said, "Thanks, I saw you fighting and maybe, with a little bit of our training you could be a marine." Mord got up and they raced to the empire's bar.
About three rounds in later Shining had a nice buzz going while Mord had only a light buzz.
Shining asked him , "D-do you have a special somepony back on your planet?"
Mord replied, "Heh, hell no dude, I am still a f**king virgin."
Shining said, "We need to change that when this is all over."
Mord replied with, "Aye."
After he said that the rest of his squad and Princess Cadence entered, Shining told the bar tender, "Round of beers for these guys and my wife."
He nodded and got 5 more glasses of apple family hard cider, they liked the beer. Demon squad drank until 8 when they retired to bed, which was for now a piece of wood with a blanket, Mord didn't mind, he always slept that way. The next morning all of them had hangovers, Mord even let them sleep in about 15 minutes later than usual.
But after some coffee and a hot shower they were ready to take on a giant covenant base, which from the pics they got was more like a small town with more AA guns. The Timelane will help them as much as they can with some orbital strikes and use of the mac canon.
They were all in pelicans flying over to the base, Shining Armor and a few of his best guard joined them, his little sister was in the prison, of course he would go.
Shining asked the squad, "Why did all of you join, except you Mord, you already told me."
Baker said, "Well, I joined so that I can protect my pregnant wife and make a difference in the war, hell I already have, I am part of Demon squad."
Helen answered with, "I joined to get revenge for killing my big sister who joined the war."
Macy said, "I joined because I have always wanted to hang a skinned elite on my wall." Trev told him, "I joined because the covies glassed my home world killing all of my friends."
Yori told everpony, "I joined because I love to kill and no where else can I kill things legally." Everypony scooted a little bit away from him.
They heard the pilot shout, "5 minutes until you walk there!"
Mord yelled, "Got it!" Everyone got their gear ready, Macy made out with her machine gun turret, who she named Leon, just because.
Mord told Shining, "For this mission, welcome to the Demon Skulls recruit. I saw you fight, and I'll admit it was pretty good."
Shining replied, "Thank you, I will get my sister back."
Mord asked, "Wait you have a sister, hmm I thought you were an only child."
He replied, "Yup, she is the princess of friendship."
Yori told him, "When you find her, keep her close or you will lose her, trust me that happened to my little sister." He continued to check his riffle.
They heard the pelican land, Shining used his magic to pick up the fuel rod canon that he brought, Mord yelled out, "Move out you pussies!"
They all left the pelican, they heard over the radio, "Demon Skull squad remember you don't need to kill them all, just take down the two big AA guns."
Mord told them, "Activate invisibility."
After he said that all of them turned invisible, Shining asked as they were heading to the base, "How'd you do that?"
Mord replied, "Later." They snuck to the front of the base, there were low walls perfect for a minor base, behind the walls were what looked like Covenant prison cells.
To the far left and right were two VERY big AA guns that could turn a frigate to scrap metal in a few minutes and they had to destroy them. Luckily with the new invisibility it doesn't need to be recharged, Mord said, "Alright Shining Helen you two are with me to destroy the left gun, Baker, Trev, Macy, and Yori take the right one and be very quiet. Only engage the gun once I give the order on the radio, got it men?"
They quietly said, "Sir yes sir."
While Shining said, "Got it Mord."
They started to move out, Shining used a spell that made him invisible to the covies. Mord, Helen, and Shining managed to get over the wall, they were right in front of the gun (the gun is the same one that you destroy in Halo 3 fyi) which Mord thought was farther away.
He said over the radio, "Ready?"
He heard Baker respond with, "Ready here."
Mord said, "Attack."
Mord aimed his DMR at the closest three grunts and pulled the trigger, they died of course. Shining took out his fuel rod canon and fired it at the elites, two of the four died while the other two just lost their shields.
Mord slung his DMR and took out his SAW, he sprayed bullets at the last elites, now of course the elites tried to hit them with plasma, but the group had to much cover. They heard a loud boom over by the right gun, they knew the others destroyed it.
Mord reloaded his SAW after he killed the elites, sadly there were 4 shielded jackals firing the needles that have pissed off all of you at least once before, Helen took out one of her grenades and threw it at the jackals, luckily they didn't see it and it killed three of them while the last one got blown up by Shining's canon.
Helen shouted, "CLEAR!"
Mord pointed his gun at the AA gun, he said, "When you see an orange thing come out of the bottom shot it!"
They nodded, right then the orb came down from the AA gun so it could reload, they fired at it with all their fire power and it blew up, Mord shouted over the radio, "UNSC HQ, AA guns are down, requesting reinforcements now!"
A male voice replied, "Granted, eta ten minutes."
Trev shouted into his radio, "We need help at the right AA gun, there are so many covies and we're running low on ammo!"
Mord replied, "Got it, we're on the way, Helen, Shining move out!" With that they made their way to the right gun, they did kill five elites, four grunts, three jackals, two hunters, and a partridge in a pear tree (lololololol).
When they got there they saw four hunters surrounding them along with a bunch of grunts, Mord told Helen and Shining, "Helen you take out the two hunters on the far left by sticking your frag grenades in their backs, I will do the same to the right ones. Shining once we kill them you take out as many grunts as possible, got it?"
They nodded and moved out. Helen got on the first hunter on the left, after she shoved the grenade in it she jumped on the other one's back and did the same thing.
At the same time Mord jumped on the far right hunter and shoved the grenade in the neck and jumped on the one to its left, although what he did was brilliant.
He turned the hunter towards an oncoming wraith and let it fire, the wraith was destroyed and so was the right hunter, he of course took his energy sword and sliced the last hunter's head right off, it fell to the ground dead. Shining aimed his fuel rod canon he fired the canon until the clip ran out killing almost all the grunts, but one was barely alive.
Mord walked over to it, it said, "Go die in a hole human scum."
Mord took his energy sword and chopped the grunts head off, then shoved the grunt's needler up its own ass, he laughed a bit. Then Macy said, "I see reinforcements guys!"
Mord ordered, "Okay maggots we need to get to the front of the base, make sure we have minimum loses, got it?!"
His squad shouted, "SIR YES SIR!" Shining nodded and they carefully made their way to the front of the base. About halfway down they heard a female voice shout, "HELP US PLEASE HELP!"
Mord said, "The crate over there, squad continue the mission, Shining and I will get those ponies out!"
They all nodded, Mord and Shining looked at the front of the crate, the lock was in covenant letters, Shining said, "How are we going to crack the lock, there are easily a hu-" He was cut off by Mord shooting it with his DMR, Shining could tell that behind the helmet he was smiling.
Shining Armor said, "Not a word Mord." He nodded.
They heard the door hiss and they looked, it was opening up, there were about 50 ponies crammed inside it, some were in shock, some were hurt, and some were even branded for brute food, Mord said, "They never did this to my people, usually they kill us right there and the brutes eat the bodies, their higher class considers us a delicacy, I f**king hate the covenant."
One of the ponies stepped out towards them. It was a mare, she looked about Mords age, she had a yellow coat and a mane that resembled fire, her eyes were burnt sienna, she also had a blue jump suit on that had a few scratch marks, he could see that she had a lightning bolt cutie mark as Shining called it, and her goggles were burnt, like it was hit by plasma.
Mord said, "I am UNSC Commander Mord of ODST squad Demon Skulls and we f**king hate those Covenant b*****ds."
She responded with, "I am Commander Spitfire of the Wonderbolts, please help us."
Mord shouted, "Alright were getting you all out of here, follow me to the evac pelicans, you will be extracted to the Crystal empire which is now under UNSC protection, follow me and Captain Shining Armor!"
They all got up and they headed towards the pelicans, though about two clicks away from the entrance Mord heard something, he said, "Stop, I heard something."
He dropped his saw and drew his energy sword, he stood still for a minute until he heard an elite uncloak, next thing he knew an elite zealot jumped him on the right, he ducked down and raised the energy sword, the elite was sliced in half from the momentum and fell on the ground on two bloody pieces.
Mord rose up and said, "Nothing like the fresh smell of death in the morning, ah, lovely." After he said that five elite zealots jumped in front of him, he said in the covenant language, "you all suck and I'll kill you all."
The elite in front laughed but was cut short by Mord lunging on him and cutting his head off, Mord picked up the dropped energy sword and said, "I came here to chew gum and kick ass, I just ran out of gum."
The other elites charged him, Mord charged towards them as well, Mord fell down and slid towards the first elite and chopped half of his lower body off and killing it.
Mord got up and threw the new energy sword at the next elite , it got stuck in the elite's face killing it. the other two elites were charging next to each other, Mord took out his knife and threw it at the elite on the right, it hit it's chest and fell down, but not dead. The other one yelled out and sliced at Mord, though he jumped to the side and avoided it with ease, He plunged his sword into the elite's back, it fell on two knees, Mord said, "go to hell b***h."
He broke the elite's neck killing it. The elite he didn't kill was crawling towards the nearest energy sword, but Mord stepped on it's back, he took out his DMR and pointed it at him, it said, "please, I have a wife and kids, please!"
Mord replied with, "Then you shouldn't of come here." He pulled the trigger and the shot pierced it's head killing it, Mord said in the Covenant language, "may you ascend to your heaven and someday have your family see you again."
He said to the ponies, "The evac pelicans aren't far away!"
Once they got to the evac site there were over a hundred marines on the field ready to fight, Mord said, "Okay ponies head towards the big metal ships, those are the pelicans that will get you all out of here, don't worry, we'll get everyone... ergh, everypony out of there!"
Macy, Trev, Baker, and Yori ran up and saluted. Mord said, "At ease fellas!"
They fist bumped and talked for a minute, Mord said, "Okay were going into that base and we are going to kicka*s, but me, Helen, and Shining need ammo bad."
Mord took the marines and demolished the Covenant ground troop defense positions and freed almost all of the inhabitants of the planet, though the UNSC lost over 75 marines in that fight, plus with a few aerial attacks by the pelicans.
They lost 4 pelicans in that fight, although during that time two other UNSC frigates joined the fight, the UNSC Hammer and the UNSC Columbia. The Covenant have lost a lot of troops and have only one city left under their control, Canterlot.
This is going to be the biggest battle on this planet. The corvette is sending all the troops and vehicles to the city, the UNSC will lose a lot of lives even if they win the battle. Mord and his squad, that includes Shining Armor, were in the only bar that wasn't destroyed in Ponyville.
Cadence had to stay in the crystal empire because she had to rule it, which made Shining Armor sad. Baker told everyone, "Dudes, did you all hear how many ponies we saved?"
Macy replied, "No, enlighten us stupid one."
They all laughed, he said, "Ha ha, well we saved over 5000 ponies, that includes Shining Armor's sister!"
Yori said, "That prison couldn't hold 5000 ponies."
Baker replied, "Well, when we took the prison over most of the covies fled to the city Canterlot."
Helen replied, "Canterlot, really?!"
Shining said, "Why is that funny?"
Mord said, "We'll explain later when none of us are drunk as HELL, Macy."
She looked at him and said, "Says the guy who started to drink at the age of 10."
They all looked at him with what the f**k faces, Mord replied, "Well that was shortly after I lost my family, eye, and home planet, you'd start to drink to."
They all nodded, Macy on the other hand raised her bottle and drank it's contents. Baker put his helmet on to intersect a message, Mord said, "Well Shining, do you think you could be part of the UNSC, protecting the galaxy from Covenant?"
Shining replied, "Maybe, one more battle and I will tell you."
After he said that Baker took off his helmet and said, "Hey guys, that was my wife, our little girl just kicked, only 7 months until I'm a Dad!" Everyone jumped up congratulating him and Macy bought the squad another round of beer.
Mord put his arm around his shoulder and said, "Your going to be a great father, I personally know it dude."
He took a big swig of beer, Trev lifted his bottle up and said, "I propose a toast to Baker's unborn daughter, we hope she will be healthy, and you all will have a great life."
Everyone, and pony lifted their bottles and all said, "Here here!"
And drank, Helen looked over and saw Spitfire, she said to Mord, "Look, it's the pegasus that lead the other ponies, which we saved. Go talk to her douche."
Mord looked at her and said, "Well, I haven't spoken to a mare before, I don't know, I have always been scared of girls and spiders."
Shining said, "Spiders, really?!"
Mord replied, "You got fears to I bet a*shole."
Everyone at the table shouted, "OH!"
Yori told him, "Mord I have the best advice to give you here."
Mord replied, "Lay it on me."
He told Mord, "Buck up and f**king talk to her pussy."
Everyone was shocked, Shining asked, "Why are you looking shocked?"
Trev replied, "Yori has never said a curse word in his entire life."
Mord got up and said, "You know what, I will talk to her, it is only an invite to sit here."
When he headed to the bar Baker told them, "He is going to get so shot down by her." They all nodded.
Mord sat down next to Spitfire and asked, "Excuse me commander."
She replied. "Yes?"
Mord continued, "Well, you are good in battle and my squad and I were wondering if you wanted to sit with us instead of sitting at the bar alone."
She looked up at him and said, "Wait, are you the ODST who saved me?"
He nodded, "I would like some company."
Mord smiled and said, "Come with me for a great time." She looked up at him for a second. Mord's eyes widened and he said, "Um, not in a dirty way, sorry."
She just waved it off and they sat at the table. After Mord and his men had about 5 beers, everyone but Mord and Spitfire were drunk as hell, they decided to leave, leaving Mord and Spitfire in the bar.
They talked for about an hour, when they left it was about 9, they were walking to the bunks, he knew that his men were not sleeping, but in fact looking at porn on their helmets and probably playing poker and losing a lot of their money.
Mord wasn't that drunk, he has been drinking since he was 15 from depression, Spitfire asked him, "Mind if I ask you about your parents, I heard your troops talking about some of their loved ones."
Mord said, "Well, sadly my parents. died when I was 7."
She looked down and said, "I'm sorry for your loss."
He replied, "It's alright, I killed the covies who killed them and took his energy sword." He pulled out his personal sword, "I guess that is what made me want to be a marine, revenge. I still wonder what I would of been if the Covenant didn't invade my planet."
Spitfire replied, "If you think about it, your parents dying saved me and everypony who lived in that prison."
He looked at her, "Maybe your right, but I still want them back, I miss them so much."
They stopped, she put her hoof on his shoulder and said, "I should of said this when you first saved me, but, thank you for saving me and my team Mord."
"Heh, no problem, it's my job."
They walked to the new base, it was the base from "Halo Wars", they walked up to it, Mord asked, "I just gotta ask, who are your parents, since you asked about mine."
She responded, "Well, my Mom was saved from that prison, but my Dad I don't know."
"I'm sorry." She waved it off, He also asked, "Well, do your squad have a place to sleep?"
She said, "I don't think there are enough blankets to go around the survivor tents."
"Well, I think I can squeeze them in the barracks, we have a few unused bunks," said Mord.
She replied, "thank you Mo- wait what was that?"
Mord unslung his SAW and expected a cloaked elite, but all he heard was party music and some cheers. Mord slung his gun and asked, "What the hell?"
They walked to the party, it was about a few minutes of walking, but they got to the bunks where a whole bunch of marines, royal guards, and pony civilians were partying, Mord walked up Macy who was literally making out with two royal guards, "What the hell, you all had a party and didn't invite me?! Oh and how did YOU get TWO males, that is honestly baffling."
Macy replied, "Well first off f**k you I'm drunk, and to be honest we didn't know there was a party ether until we got here."
She went back to making out with the guards and ignoring her squad commander. Spitfire asked, "Well, this party does look fun," she was looking around at the party.
There were a few kegs, a DJ booth with a pony with white fur, and blue hair. "Well, I could get drunk, the battle doesn't start until about 4." Said Mord. They partied for a few hours, then it got complicated.
It was about 10 when Mord woke up, he was in his top bunk, he said, "Oh god this head ache. I need to drink less."
He looked down and saw a sleeping Spitfire, he thought, "Did I f**k a pegasus? I think I did, whoo?"
He tried to get up without waking her, but even with his training she moved a little bit and said, "Morning sexy." He looked at her with the reddest blush you will ever see, "I had a good night and you know how to use your tongue in the sack."
He sputtered out, "Well I.. um, I, I..... well, um... um, wh- I, uh.... bu-wha?"
She snickered a little bit at his nervousness, "Ugh, we were so drunk. But I loved it."
He replied, "I don't remember a thing from last night, um, I just gotta ask, how was I?"
She smiled and said, "You were very good for someone who "had" a V card."
He looked at her with a deep blush, she laughed a little bit, "Oh crap, I need to get my squad and brief them on the mission!"
He jumped out of the bunk, but he stopped when he noticed that he was naked so he grabbed his briefs and put them on faster than light. Of course no one besides Spitfire was looking, nor in there. "You know that you have two hours before you need to brief them, right?"
Said Spitfire, he looked at her and said, "Oh, it's only 10, I thought it was 12, whoops. So um, can we get a cup of coffee?"
She looked at him and replied, "You're not done here yet, we still have two hours."
She tapped the space he was just in, he thought, "Sex, hell ya I, wait, she is a f**king horse, it would be bestiality. Though they never said I couldn't be with aliens, she is one technically, heh I'll go for it, besides, she does look hot for a horse.
Hell ya I do Spitfire."
Two hours later:
His squad were waiting in the pelican, Mord and Spitfire were walking towards them, Baker asked, "Mord, where were you?! You are usually the first one here or at the pods."
Spitfire replied, "He was.... busy with other things."
They all looked confused as hell, "Mord doesn't do anything besides drink and battle with us, right?"
Spitfire flew up to head level and they kissed, Mord headed to the pelican while Spitfire flew the other way. "I f**ked her brains out!"
They all were cheering and congratulating him.
Once they got on the pelican Trev asked, "How was she?"
They all looked at Mord, "She knew how to f**k better than any porn vid I have ever seen." He said as they all cheered.
After a minute they we're on their way to Canterlot, there was a screen in the back of the pelican of which Mord is using, Shining Armor was already in Canterlot helping on the front lines, they had all their gear on and weapons armed.
Mord just turned on the screen, "Okay squad, the LZ will be hostile, Shining Armor and a few other marines are currently holding a small front line for back up, but it's not enough room for what we need to win so we will be dropped near a beam that leads to a Covenant Corvette."
Trev raised his hand, "Um sir, why do we wanna go for the ship?"
Mord replied, "Excellent question Trev, the answer is that if we can blow up the main Covenant cruiser the UNSC can mop up the rest of the ground troops with little death. In fact I have the bomb strapped to my back, it is a mini nuke so don't let me get hit or we ALL die in an explosion, which is cool in it's own way. Any questions?"
Baker raised his hand, "Well sir, will we have weapon drops or any UNSC reinforcements before we go up cuz we would be running low on ammo."
Mord replied, "Well no, we are just going to have to use Covenant weapons. The lift we will be going up will lead to a Covenant armory which we will use to win. Alright 1 minute til drop!"
They loaded their guns, put on the helmets, and finished their gum.
"Strap in, this could get bumpy," said the pilot.
As he said they strapped in as the pelican did some evasive manuvers to avoid the plasma from AA guns. The landing zone was right in front of the train station, Shining Armor along with 15 other marines were holding a bunch of Covenant back and allowing the prisoners that they got to evac.
As the pelican landed they sat up, Macy said, "nothing like the fear of death to wake you up in the morning!"
"Ya no, maybe for you," said Baker.
"Buck up pussy."
"I got a kid to think about!"
"Hey shut up! Argue when we aren't going to fight!" Shouted Mord.
They both shouted, "yes sir!"
The bay doors opened, Macy and Trev took point, and scanned the area. "Clear!" Shouted Trev, the rest of them ran out and the pelican took off to the survivor area.
Shingin Armor looked back and saw them, he ran up to them, "Hey, glad you all could be here, there is a small alley that will lead you to the corvette, though if you guys can spare any ammo please help us, we can't hold it for much longer!"
Mord thought for a sec.
"Alright, Yori stay here and help these marines, keep the LZ clear!"
"Consider it done sir." He ran to the makeshift barricade and began to use his battle riffle to tear them apart.
"Thank you, I can get you to the ship Mord!" Said Shining.
"That would help, take point Captain!"
Shining nodded and they made their way down the alleyway.
After a few minutes of walking the squad were on edge, they aren't used to this much quiet on missions, it's almost to quiet for them. "I heard something." Said Trev.
They got their backs to one another into a circle, aiming their guns to the roofs, they saw some movement, though not much after that. "Keep on alert squad, move out." Said Mord.
They slowly made their way to the corvette, nothing hit them, though they knew the Covenant were watching them, closely.
When they made it the alley way was blocked by a small Covenant shield, the kind we players hate so much. Anyway, they looked, it was hovering over the city, there were 8 hunters guarding the entrance, Mord whispered, "Shining, got a knife?"
He nodded, "Good, we're going to use them, remember the first time we met, and how I killed the hunters?"
"Of course I do, what about it?"
"You will have to copy that, except you use a knife and slit their throats, now follow us, team, kill them all, quietly."
They all nodded at him, "Move out."
They activated their camo and slowly made their way to the hunters, they had their backs to the team, they were watching some captured royal guards, not even guarding.
Each of them crouched behind them, now two would live, though Mord will get them. "NOW!" Shouted Mord as they jumped on their back slitting the throats.
6 had orange blood gush out of the throats and fell to the ground, the other two looked around as Mord jumped off the dead hunter's falling body and activated his energy sword, all it could think was, "Aw f**k me."
Mord sliced the hunter's head right off as he jumped off the chest plate landing and doing a barrel roll, he looked up and saw the head slide off and the body fall dead.
They just killed the last hunter charged it's canon at Mord and it would of fired, except a beam of purple energy melted off half of it's head killed it. As it fell they saw it was Shining Armor who killed it, the captured guards cheered as Demon squad just looked.
"Not bad, you might not need any training if you do join us. We could use you." Said Mord.
"Nah, I am good here with my wife."
Baker mumbles, "wish I could say that."
"Alright, Shining you should rejoin your troops and free these, we will continue the mission."
Shining Armor replies, "good idea, I wish you luck Demon squad."
Mord nods as the beam pulls them all up into the ship, except Yori who is still fighting down there.
As they floated into the ship they heard the sounds of a charging canon, "What's charging?" Asked Helen.
"It's the corvette's main gun, it is getting ready to fire at, oh my god, it's pointed to the frigate Timelane, Mord warn them now!"
"This is Commander Mord to Timelane, capt do you read me?!"
"I read you Mord, little busy here!"
"It's important, there is a corvette aiming it's almost charged canon at you, get out of there now!"
"Turn the ship now!" They looked up to the ship and it fired the canon, 8 beams of plasma flew through the sky and all of them hit the Timelane, after a second of silence it blew up killing everyone on that ship.
"Oh, my, god," said Trev.
"That was the flagship of this mission, what are we gonna do without their fire Mord?" Asked Macy.
"We proceed on mission, we just arm the bomb a bit later then they wanted, just 10 minutes so we can go to the pods."
Just then they exited atmosphere and landed in a cargo hold of the ship. They immediately hid behind a giant crate just before a couple of elites walked past them.
"Sir, which way?" Asked Baker.
"Well, I think it's this way to the bridge, to the right, go, go go." Said Mord. They activated their cloaks and snuck immediately into a hallway.
As they were making their way up to the bridge they saw 2 grunts walking down, "Mord, what do we do?" Whispered Helen.
"Alright, we will uncloak and stab them to death." After he said that they all got out their knifes and uncloaked. The grunts were to stunned to do anything, so they died.
"Well sir, what about the bodies?"
"We put them in that closet there." Mord points to a door.
"How do you know that isn't full of covies?" Asked Helen.
"Because, um, lets just go for it." They shrugged and drug the bodies to the door, as soon as it opened they saw it was a prison with 3 big a*s brute guards playing Covenant poker.
They looked over at the squad of ODST's, "Kill the-" They were blown up by Trev's Rocket launcher.
"What, we are allowed to be bada*s once in this story." Said Trev.
"Dude, what story?" Asked Macy.
"Um, never mind, um, let's check the cells." They all nodded.
"Trev whispered, "Don't worry Element you won't be found out, just please let me get a fuel rod canon, please." All of a sudden he looks to the side and see's a a fully loaded fuel rod canon with tons of spare ammo around it. "Thank you."
"What was that Trev?" Asked Baker.
"Oh uh, nothing." Helen took a step back and said.
"Uh, guys, I think this cage has the Princesses, I mean there are two ponies, with a horn and wings."
They all ran up to look and gasped, because it really was Celestia and Luna. They looked beat up, bags under their eyes, and had a few whip marks on their backs.
"Princesses, we are ODST's of the UNSC, don't worry you equestrians and us teamed up to kill these b*****ds. We will get you two out now, Baker try to hack the cell doors." He nods at Mord.
After a second Baker says, "Doors open!" Mord uses his strength to force open the door, the princesses slowly rose up, they walked out, their legs were shacking and they barely stayed up, let alone walk.
Mord looks at them and says, "Okay squad, you all take the princesses to safety while me and Baker go take care of the bomb, before you guys say no, that's an order." They nod and shouted.
"Sir yes Sir!"
"Move out!"
They carried the princesses out of their and back to the pods while Baker hacked the doors to the bridge.
It took a few minutes to get to the bridge of the ship, and a few dead Covenant, but they made it. Each of them were ready to enter, Mord asked, "Got that door hacked?"
"Almost there.... got it." The door went from red to light blue.
"Sir, what is our plan of attack?" Asked Baker.
"Well, I thought we would power through the door, kill anything in front of us, and run away from the bomb at light speed."
"Sounds like a good plan to me." They smiled under their helmets.
Mord shouted, "Breach!" They ran through the door, there were 4 elite officers, 5 grunts, and an elite zealot who all turned and looked at them grabbing their guns.
Mord threw two grenades at the biggest cluster killing 3 grunts and an elite. Baker used his smg to smoke the shields of the elites while Mord used his DMR to kill all the officers except the zealot who went invisible before they could know he was there.
The last two grunts Mord shot in the head, both fell dead as the bridge was cleared of hostiles.
Mord ran up to the center column and stared to set up the bomb while Baker used a micro chip to take all the files that ship had so the UNSC could use it later.
After a minute Baker asked, "Sir, got that bomb ready?"
"Almost, this is my first time setting up a bomb, though not the first time blowing one up ha ha."
Baker rolled his eyes and turned back. Though what they didn't know was that the zealot uncloaked behind the pillar, with them talking they didn't hear it uncloak.
It activated it's energy sword and ran towards Baker, Mord looked over and yelled, "Zealot!!"
Baker turned around and fired his smg which lets be real does almost nothing except in halo 2, am I right or am I right.
Mord took out his saw and shot it in the back, it's shields flared as it jumped away from Baker and recloaked. "Baker you alright?!"
"Just peachy sir!" Mord ran over to the bomb and continued to work on it while Baker slowly crept towards a suspicious corner.
Mord got up and said, "Baker, got it set up, time to leave."
"Okay sir." As Mord picked up his DMR the elite silently uncloaked behind him, Baker looked and shouted.
"MORD!" Mord looks behind him only to be speared through the gut and pinned him to the column. Baker on the other hand grabbed his smg and filled that elite full of holes, since it was trying to pull out the sword it didn't have a chance to activate it's shields.
Basically it fell limp on the floor. Baker ran over to Mord.
"Sir don't worry I will get you out of here!"
"No, no, I will die from blood lose before you get me out, though I have three things to order."
"What are they sir?"
"First, when this planet is safe bring your wife here and raise a family, trust me this is a good place.
Second, you set the timer and run as fast as you can.
Finally you take my energy sword, and you command the squad, sir, these are my final orders, got it Baker?!"
"Yes sir, setting the timer now!"
"Wait! First, take off my helmet, so I can breath real air one more time."
Baker did what Mord ordered and took off his helmet, his eyes had black rings around them, his mouth has a bit of blood pouring out of it, and he looked weak for the first time of his life.
"Timer is set, sorry sir."
"Go protect these ponies, go, I can still guard the bomb." Baker nodded as he grabbed the energy sword out of his pocket and ran out of the door.
"Good luck soldier.
Mommy, Daddy, your little boy is coming home." At that second his head fell and he stopped breathing.
Now Baker ran through the corridors as fast as he could, he killed a few enemies, though he made it to the pods. He read his helmet timer, it read 2 minutes, he jumped into the first pod he saw and punched out.
He fell through the air, he heard nothing, just his own breathing, "Oh my god, Mord actually died, s**t, what will the guys say?"
After a minute he landed right behind the growing front line, all of the Demon Skulls were right there along with Shining Armor just blasting grunts away with a carbine.
They all pointed their guns at the pod and were ready to fire, except when the door opened they saw an ODST, then realized they it was Baker, so they lowered their weapons.
"Where's Mord?" Asked Macy, Baker pointed to the Corvette as his timer went to zero and boom. The Corvette blew up in it's big pink and blue fire (how does halo explain that?) At that moment they realized he was gone.
"Oh my god, they actually killed him!"
"Yes they did Yori, A zealot uncloaked behind him and speared him to a pole before we could even do anything. I'm sorry, he gave me his energy sword and put me in command in one of his last breaths. I'm so sorry I couldn't save him."
They all looked down in sadness. "What will we tell Spitfire?" Asked Helen.
One of the marines shouted, "We got them cornered, kill them all!"
"Oh, I guess we won, we won!" Yelled Trev.
"But at what cost," replied Yori.
Shining Armor ran over, "We actually won, I didn't think it was possible, I- wait where's Mord?" Baker looked down and replied.
"Mord is KIA, he was pinned to the pillar that had the bomb, god damn zealots."
That evening:
As they all crowded in the same bar in Ponyville, they weren't with the other marines celebrating, but sitting at a table saying nothing with some empty beer glasses.
they didn't have their helmets on, and they wore very depressed faces. A bar maid walks up to them, she says.
"5 beers for the table, enjoy." Helen replies.
"Ya ya, thanks." The maid walked away, "Why, why did they have to kill Mord, he was just protecting these ponies." Said Helen.
"You know what, lets dedicate this toast to Mord, for making the ultimate sacrifice!" Said Baker, they all shouted.
"Here here!" And drank. Just then Spitfire walked into the door, she had on her commander uniform, she looked excited, though not for long.
She looked at the squad and flew over everyone-pony there, she said, "Congrats on the win an- where's Mord? Getting more drinks?"
They all looked at Macy.
"Oh balls, Spitfire, when we entered the ship and rescued the princesses. Mord and Baker went to arm the bomb, sadly only Baker came back."
She was almost to tears, "You're just kidding right? He's gonna come back right now, right?"
Baker took out the sword and rolled it on the table to Spitfire, "That was his sword, he never went anywhere without it. I'm sorry, but he's dead."
Spitfire started to cry, she tried to look strong, though that failed instantly. Baker put his hand on her back and said.
"It's okay, let it out, though some beer will help your mood."
"Help?! How?"
"Trust me, I lost a lot of people, beer will help you." He grabs a glass of beer and hands it to her.
In less then 5 seconds she drank it's contents, now this ain't a shot glass, it's a pint glass. Ya that much anyone over 21.
"So, are you going to obey Mord's last order Baker?" Asked Helen.
"Yes, I think this could be a place to raise a kid that is pretty safe, though since I am commander I have to tell you spitfire. We are being deployed to a Promethean planet tomorrow, at O1400 hours. This is the last night of us being here."
During the night they told stories of Mord and his battles, while Spitfire could only think of him, and cry.
In conclusion, saving Equestria the UNSC lost 700 men, a frigate, and one of the best non spartan soldiers out there.
Okay, we see UNSC ODST Commander Mord Leon of the squad Demon Skulls. He is floating in space, he doesn't have his helmet, though his armor doesn't have any kind of wounds, he starts to open his eyes, he sees some kind of being, it looks like the didact from Halo 4, he is floating with the helmet.
"Mord." It says, "You have died in battle defending the ponies of Equestria. But I have chosen you from every other marine that died there, you, you are the most capable of being the first of a new line of Promethians."
"What are you going to do?!" Shouted Mord.
"Oh, you will be in our shoes metaphorically, and physical as a new form of Promethian. Heh, heh, heh."
Mord gets to his feet, he yells, "I will never work for you, I am a Marine, I fight for humanity only!"
"You won't even realize you will become one of us and come right back out of Equestria. The first Promethian planet."
Mord stared at him with eyes of shock, he tried to pull out a gun, though he had no weapons on him. Mord asked, "I died, how would YOU bring me back?"
He chuckled a bit, "Because, we got a bit of you're dna before you died, it was cataloged." Mord stared at him.
"Wait I am already back?!" The didact just nods. "Oh my god, what the hell?!" The space around him starts to go white as he falls down and passes out. The next second we look at a big a*s promethian, it was in some kind of container.
It shouted, "BBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
UNSC Hammer, 3 months later:
We go to ODST squad Demon Skulls, they have been killing Covenant for months without leave. When they were given leave they all said Equestria.
Baker and his wife just moved into Canterlot.
They were in the rec room, Trev was on his helmet. Helen was cleaning her shotgun, Macy was playing poker with Yori, and Baker was looking at the energy sword Mord gave him.
Trev took off the helmet and said, "Hey guys, Luna agreed to let you all stay at the castle, we don't have to stay in Baker's house."
They were all cheering.
Baker asked, "What's wrong with my house?!"
Macy turned around and replied, "Well, you guys are really nice people. You're place is very nice, but not for 6 and a half people."
Yori quietly took all the money that was on the table, Baker asked, "Where did you get a half?"
"Your unborn daughter, not yet a whole person, though not a spec of nothing ether."
Helen said, "I'm surprised you could comprehend that Macy."
She replied, "Thank you Hele- HEY!" They were all laughing their a*ses off.
"5 minutes until we reach Equestria." Said the captain through the speakers.
"Alright squad ready up." Said Baker.
Sir, we aren't going to battle, we are on vacation." Said Helen.
Baker turned around to face her and replied, "I mean we get the bags and drink the booze."
They all finished the beer and grabbed the bags. Baker asked, "Hey guys, I feel we should pour out a bottle of beer for Mord."
They all nod as he pours some beer on the ground, of course someone will clean it up, though it is more of a honor thing then anything.
15 minutes later:
They were in a pelican, it was in atmosphere of the planet, inside was two pilots, and the Demon Skulls. They were laughing and fussing around like animals.
"Baker, you know my wife?" Asked Helen.
"Of course I do, don't tell Asa. But she is hot as hell."
They all replied, "Ya, ya."
"Well, she is going to meet us at Canterlot and we are finally gonna be able to spend time together."
Baker replies, "That's great, you know guys I arranged to have dinner with Shining Armor, Cadence, and little Flurry Heart. Such an adorable filly." He gave a almost silent squeal of excitement.
The squad was happy and chatting with one another, Baker sat down and looked at the energy sword, he thought. "Mord, if you can hear me brother, we miss you so much, the Demon Skulls haven't been the same, nor any better.
In fact worse then before, I am doing all I can, but I am a hacker with a gun, not a leader. I'm so sorry I couldn't save you, it haunts me every night, please forgive me bro."
Just then the pilot says over the radio, "Alright, 20 seconds til we reach the private pad on the Canterlot castle."
They started to grab their bags and were ready to debark the pelican. As soon as the door opened they ran out and took a deep breath of fresh air.
Trev looked to his right and saw Luna, he dropped his bag and they ran to each other, just like in the movies. They were in slow motion, he had a big grin on his face, Luna was smiling with an open mouth.
Until Baker walked up to Trev at normal speed and said, "Dude, this only works in movies, you can't do this slow motion."
Trev replied, "Yes I can, I am gonna do this cool."
"This isn't cool, it's dorky as hell you moron. I'm recording this so you will see how stupid this looks."
"Gee, thanks sir." Trev resumed his slow running. After about 3 minutes Trev and Luna finally got to embrace each other in their arms and lips.
They just stared at them. Because Trev was the stripper king, literally there is a stripping move named after him. "What am I seeing? How does he have anybod- ergh, pony?" Asked Yori.
They just shrugged. Trev pulled out of the kiss and said, "I have wanted to do that for two moths now."
She replied, "We'll do more tonight, now lets deal with the squad." He shacks his head.
"Welcome to Canterlot, the guards will take your stuff to the rooms, oh Rhea and Asa are in the dining hall waiting for you all." Helen and Baker started to run to the dining room.
Yori and Macy followed Baker and Helen. Macy asked, "Trev, you coming dude?"
He replied, "Sorry, I got a little bit of catching up to do with Luna, I have 2 weeks to catch up on a month and a half of sex."
Macy waved it off and catched up to the rest of the squad.
While entering the castle all Baker could think was, "This is going to be a good vacation."
Hey there everyone, this is a new rewrite, now you all might be wondering what's different, and is it worth reading? The answer is yes, these are just a couple ways this story's worth reading. It has longer chapters, goes at a slower pace, but not too slow, it has some differences that are interesting, and the writing isn't nearly as cringey as this story is, I've gotten a lot better. And the biggest reason why you should read the story is a twist ending that should satisfy you all, and it'll open a doorway to a sequel if it get's enough love. So what are you waiting for?
