When Danny goes back through time to 1987, he finds that being the past night guard was more fun. But can he survive against the even more animatronics or will he die? And will the murderer(s) be revealed?
A week after Five Nights at AJ's, Danny begins to learn about the murderer. He learned that their murderer was purple and she was a mare, named "Purple Mare". Deciding to, with any hope, stop Purple Mare from murdering the Mane 6 and Applebloom. However, he is about to discovered that there was more murders than he previously thought. Can he survive Purple Mare's first victim's hell-bent wrath?

I was approaching the closed Funhouse, I was going to open it in a few weeks from now. However, my friends have been wondering what the building was for and I kept telling them it was my secret. I kept the a barrier around the building to prevent anyone from looking inside or getting inside. The animatronics can see them but the ponies could not see them. The barriered only allowed the building to be seen and nothing else.
Charming asked “Why are you keeping this a secret from us?”
“Why ruin the fun of a surprise. Oh, and none of your spells will work on this barrier. I’ve noticed those spells you, Twilight, and the Princesses have been casting. That Barrier is ancient forgotten magic, design to keep anything from within a secret. The Build is visible but not whatever is inside. Only my magic can allow me access and you can pass unless I made your magic signature into the defense barrier system. Until I am ready, that barrier will remain up.”
I passed through the barrier while Charming slammed into the barrier, which formed an invisible wall that prevents Charming from getting inside. I smirked and went inside the building. When I closed the door, I walked into the Dining Room and see some of the animatronics were talking or doing something. I was greeted by the Animatronic of Rainbow Dash. She smiled at my appearance and we shook hooves before we sat down at the Stage.
“So, when will we perform?” Rainbow asked.
“A few weeks from now. Now, I wanted to talk to you guys about how you guys died…”
Rainbow’s reaction was sad and angry. I expected this, of course, who wouldn’t be angry and sad to only be asked on how they were murdered?
Rainbow explained “Well, it all started back at 1987…We were mares at the time, coming to Pinkie Pie’s Party Palace.”
“Pinkie Pie’s Party Palace?” I asked in curiosity.
Rainbow explained “Oh yes, you see. There was this old place that closed down. So, a new manager, who bought the original cast; our animatronic bodies, started a new business. But there was a screw loose and the animatronics were taken to the Parts and Service Room and dismantled. They became what the staff called; “The Withereds”. Then, they built some more animatronics. They became the Toys, or Toy Animatronics. There was Vinyl Scratch, Octavia, Trixie, Discord, Chrysalis, Spike, and the CMC. The Chrysalis Animatronic was controlled by our killer’s first victim. Chrysalis gave life into the animatronics, both withered and toys. While they weren’t possessed like us or Chrysalis, they had emotions and everything. Anyways, they seemed to like the Night Guard that worked before something happened. We can’t remember who was the night guard but however he/she was, Trixie and Octavia really liked.”
“Can you give me a description of your killer?”
Rainbow answered “Well, our killer was a female mare. All I remember was that she had a Pink Coat and her CM was a purple and white star with two blue glimmering streams or somewhere around there.”
I nodded and ended the recording that I had in secret. Now that I have a led on the appearance on the murderer, I can track down the killer. I thank Rainbow and left to go get my book, which I left in my Manager Office. I took it and returned to the Dining Room. I put the setting on it and activated the book. Both me and the book began to glow and I blacked out.
I blinked and found myself in a house. I was still a pony, thankful for that. I had my guitar that Ember gave me. It looked a lot like hers’ but it was Black and White instead. Besides that, it was a completely exact design. It also gave me the ability to play normal music and use my ghost powers to fire music ghost Rays, it was the switch. I loved to play the Guitar a lot and it was enchanted to returned to me by my will, it could even fly on its own but I don’t use it to fly on. I noticed a bike in front of me, it was black and it had some white streaks on it. It was called a “Hexer”. I sort of liked it but not entirely. I got on it and I was surprised when I was able to pilot it. I put the guitar on my back and I began to head off, heading to Pinkie Pie’s Party Palace.
A few minutes later…
I arrived to the place and parked my motorcycle and got off. I used my power to put my Guitar to my hidden pocket dimension. I walked inside and see a human typing on the computer.
“Excuse me, sir. But where can I sign up to becoming a Night Guard?” I see the guy looking up at me and he began to study me before he burst into laughter. That made me growl in anger. “What’s so funny?”
The man replies “Sorry little horse, but you can’t sign up for the Night Guard. You need to be a human to do so.”
I growled and made an angry expression. I began to look into my pocket dimension and see my Guitar, some other stuff, but I see that I have a Z-6 Rotary Blaster Cannon. When I noticed it, I grin with an evil expression on my face. I summoned it into my hooves and I aimed it at the man. He stopped laughing when he saw it appeared and noticed my dark and evil expression. He had a worry expression. He didn’t know what type of gun I had but it was definitely related to a chain gun.
“You were saying?”
The Man said “How do I know that it is fa-“ To prove my point, I aimed the gun at a nearby wall and fired a few shots. The shots were real that it left some bullet holes. The man instantly knew that it was real and not a fake gun. I turned to him and he gave me a panel. I smiled and put the chain gun away and signed the paper to becoming a Night Guard. I used some magic to prevent him from destroying the contract. When I finished, I gave him the paper and he shook with me. “Pleasure to meet you Mr. Eclipse. My name is Fred, I’m manager here. Sorry for the Racism there, I’m not a big fan to Ponies.”
“It’s ok. Good to meet you.”
I went inside and began to look around my surroundings.
12:00 AM
I walked into my opened and door-less office. That was when I heard the Phone Ringing. I was confused by who would call me. My answer was given when a voice message played and it was the same Phone Guy’s voice.
“What do you mean I made a poor career choice!? That’s even worse than your last advice!!”
Phone Guy said “Uh, hello and welcome to your new summer job at the new Pinkie Pie’s Party Palace. Uh, I'm here to talk you through some of the things you can expect to see during your first week here and to help you get started down this new and exciting career path.”
“What happened to the last part!?”
Phone Guy continued “Uh, now, I want you to forget anything you may have heard about the old location, you know. Uh, some people still have a somewhat negative impression of the company. Uh... that old restaurant was kind of left to rot for quite a while, but I want to reassure you, Pie Entertainment is committed to family fun and above all, safety.”
“Safety, my flank!”
“They've spent a small fortune on these new animatronics, uh, facial recognition, advanced mobility, they even let them walk around during the day. Isn't that neat?” Phone Guy explained
“Good for you, now tell me something worthwhile.”
Phone Guy faked coughed, clearing his voice and said “But most importantly, they're all tied into some kind of criminal database, so they can detect a predator a mile away. Heck, we should be paying them to guard you.”
“I beg to differ.”
Phone Guy stated “Uh, now that being said, no new system's without its... kinks. Uh... you're only the second guard to work at that location. Uh, the first guy finished his week, but complained about... conditions.”
“Yeah, did he say that the animatronics were after him?”
Phone Guy continued “Uh, we switched him over to the day shift, so hey, lucky you, right? Uh mainly he expressed concern that certain characters seemed to move around at night, and even attempted to get into his office. Now, from what we know, that should be impossible.”
“Not likely, considering the fact that I have eight animatronics back on my world.”
Phone Guy replied “Uh, that restaurant should be the safest place on earth. So while our engineers don't really have an explanation for this, the working theory is that... the robots were never given a proper "night mode". So when it gets quiet, they think they're in the wrong room, so then they go try to find where the people are, and in this case, that's your office.”
“Oh, goodie. At least I won’t be alone.”
Phone Guy said “So our temporary solution is this: there's a music box over by the Prize Counter, and it's rigged to be wound up remotely. So just, every once in a while, switch over to the Prize Counter video feed and wind it up for a few seconds. It doesn't seem to affect all of the animatronics, but it does affect... one of them.”
“Wound up the music box, got it. Wait, why? What could be there, I wonder…”
Phone Guy continued “Uh, and as for the rest of them, we have an even easier solution. You see, there may be a minor glitch in the system, something about robots seeing you as an endoskeleton without his costume on, and wanting to stuff you in a suit, so hey, we've given you an empty Applejack head, problem solved! You can put it on anytime, and leave it on for as long as you want. Eventually anything that wandered in, will wander back out.”
I grabbed the Empty Applejack head “Thank you! Now that solved my door problem.”
Phone Guy said “Uh, something else worth mentioning is kind of the modern design of the building. You may have noticed there are no doors for you to close, heh. But hey, you have a light! And even though your flashlight can run out of power, the building cannot. So, don't worry about the place going dark. Well, I think that's it. Uh, you should be golden. Uh, check the lights, put on the Freddy head if you need to, uh, keep the music box wound up, piece of cake. Have a good night, and I'll talk to you tomorrow.”
“Alright, see you later.” I went to the tablet and began to at rooms. I checked the Show Stage, seeing three animatronics. I was expecting familiar sights but this was different. They were the animatronics of Vinyl Scratch at the front center, Octavia to the right, and Trixie to Vinyl’s left. I smirked, knowing I got new friends. I switch to Game Area and see a dressed up Spike there. He was holding a balloon in one hand and a sign that says “Balloons” on the other. I checked Kid’s Cove and see a messed up Discord and the CMC animatronics. I frowned at the ruined Discord ‘I feel bad for him…’ I lowered the screen and I checked the clock. It was 4:30 AM. I sigh and relaxed for a bit. I activated the tablet and went to check Prize Corner, seeing a button there and pushing it, wounding up the music box. I was flashed the light there and see a present, closed. I switched to Show Stage and see Vinyl Scratch staring at the camera while her other two companions were gone. I checked the main hall and see Trixie there. I checked Party Room 1, no sign of Octavia. I checked Party Room 2 and see Octavia, holding a guitar, which confused me. The camera went static and when it ended, Octavia was gone. I smiled, knowing she was going to greet me first. I lowered the tablet and summoned my guitar. If she loves to play music, I’ll gladly comply. I began to play a song, one of my personal favorites, but not sing but just do a guitar solo. About halfway through the song, I could swear I heard some clanking from the vents. Inside it, Octavia could finally hear the music and she came out and sees me playing a guitar. She didn’t attack, she listened to the music. She realized that she loved how well I was playing and she smiled as she fell in love with such a wonderful song. When I finished, Octavia began to clap and I looked at her. When she finished clapping, I smiled and took out some sodas. She gladly took one and we began to chat.
5:30 AM
Me and Octavia were getting along greatly. We exchange how our skills and where we learned how to play the guitar. Octavia was amazed when I told her that a rock star gave me my awesome-looking guitar. Before we could continue talking, we heard some clanking and we looked to the right air vent. We see Trixie coming out, looking both curious and angry at Octavia. Octavia put her drink down and went over to talk to Trixie.
Trixie shouted “Octavia, I expected him caught by now! He’s not even resisting you!”
Octavia replied calmly “Listen to me Trixie; he’s not an enemy. He’s awesome and he wants to work here and co-exist with us.”
Trixie found it hard to believe and ran to us. I chuckled, knowing what to do. I put my drink down, got up from my chair, and pulled out a metal flower that I made earlier. Trixie looked at it then looked at me. Her expression changed from angry to shock to happiness. She began to think about something in her mind, being in her little world. Octavia noticed the expression.
“Trixie?” Octavia asked.
Trixie fell over, still locked in her position. Octavia looked at me and I chuckled silently. Octavia took the flower and began to drag Trixie away, back to the Stage. I went to my tablet and wound up the meter.
6:00 AM
I heard the chime go off and I left the place. As I left, I noticed that Trixie was looking at her metal flower. Vinyl wasn’t too happy and I left the place after waving goodbye.
I arrived to the Party Palace and went inside. I was wondering if Fred would have called the police to arrest me. To my surprise, he didn’t. Fred walked over to me.
Fred said “Welcome back. I think we just lost a customer.”
“Really? How?”
Fred opened his hand, revealing rock candy.
“Spike gave this to some colt for winning. These stuff are hard as rocks, broke all the teeth of a poor boy a bit back.” Fred said
“You’re serious?” Fred nodded and I was shocked. We walked into Kid’s Cove and we see Discord and the CMC. “What happened to Discord?”
Fred said “Oh, you know these days. Kids can’t keep their hands away from these things. We tried to tell them not to touch Discord but they just don’t listen. They stopped repairing him after the 50th time.”
“Why isn’t the CMC like this then?”
Fred replied “Well, the CMC are fillies. Due to that, they don’t exactly can’t be taken apart.”
I looked at Discord and frowned. I walked over to him and did the best I could repair him. To Fred, CMC, and Discord’s surprise, I managed to repair Discord is three minutes. Everything was back together in its proper place. I smiled at my work.
‘Must have improved when I cleaned and repaired the Mane 6 animatronics.’ I thought to myself.
Fred said in awe “Whoa…you never mentioned that you were an expert at repairing animatronics.”
“Well, I do have some experience since I constantly build and repair machines.”
Fred asked “Really, what?”
“You wouldn’t believe me even if I told you the truth.”
Fred said “Try me.”
I smirked and touched his forehead. There, I showed him a series of images of me repairing machines, droids, and the Animatronic Mane 6. When I finished, he looked at me with wide eyes.
“See?”
Fred said “You’re-“
“Shhh. It’s our little secret.”
Fred replied “So, you came across animatronics before and have befriend them. And to boot, they are the original cast; The Mane 6 and those two golden animatronics.”
“Yeah. And to also say that I’m from Equestria, I’m good friends with the Mane 6. I spend some time with the CMC, only to make sure they don’t get hurt, and I sometimes help Discord with his pranks.” Discord and CMC, who were listening, couldn’t believe what they were hearing. But the manager just witness some images from me, clearing that I come from Equestria. Not to mention, I repaired Discord in three minutes. They wanted to learn more about me later. They see us turned and leave. But before I left, I turned to look at them and smiled. “I’ll be seeing you guys tonight.”
I turned to leave and they began to think about tomorrow.
12:00 AM
I walked into the office and heard the phone ringing.
Phone Guy said “Ah...hello, hello! Uh, see, I told you your first night wouldn't be a problem. You're a natural!”
“Quite literally, as a matter of fact.”
“Uh, by now I'm sure you've noticed the older models sitting in the back room.” Phone Guy said.
I had a confused face and activated the tablet and looked at the Parts and service room. There, I see Withered Twilight, Applejack, Pinkie, and Fluttershy. In the darkness, I could see Withered Rainbow and Rarity.
‘That explains how Rainbow knew the night guard…Wait, I’m the Night Guard!’ I thought for a bit then chuckle ‘Oh, the irony.’
Phone Guy said “Uh, those are from the previous location. We just use them for parts now. The idea at first was to repair them...uh, they even started retrofitting them with some of the newer technology, but they were just so ugly, you know? The smell...uh, so the company decided to go in a whole new direction and make them super kid-friendly. Uh, those older ones shouldn't be able to walk around, but if they do, the whole Applejack head trick should work on them too, so, whatever.”
“That’s good to hear.”
Phone Guy replied “Uh...heh...I love those old characters. Did you ever see Rainbow the pirate? Oh wait, hold on...oh yeah, Rainbow. Uh, hey listen, that one was always a bit twitchy, uh...I'm not sure the Applejack head trick will work on Rainbow, uh.”
“If that’s the case, how am I supposed to counter her!?”
Phone Guy answered “If for some reason she activates during the night and you see her standing at the far end of the hall, just flash your light at her from time to time. Those older models would always get disoriented with bright lights. It would cause a system restart, or something. Uh, come to think of it, you might want to try that on any room where something undesirable might be. It might hold them in place for a few seconds.”
“Sounds good to me.”
Phone Guy said “That glitch might be in some of the newer models too.”
“Ok, even though I don’t need to.”
Phone Guy added “One more thing - don't forget the music box. I'll be honest; I never liked that insect-looking Pony thing. It was always...thinking, and it can go anywhere...I don't think an Applejack mask will fool it, so just don't forget the music box.”
“Insect-looking Pony Thing? Sounds like a…Changeling!?”
Phone Guy said “Anyway, I'm sure it won't be a problem. Uh, have a good night, and talk to you tomorrow.”
“Even though you don’t.” I heard the click and the message ended. I sigh and activated the Tablet and went to prize corner and wound up the music box. I lowered the tablet and went to the bunch of broken TVs. I managed to repair one and access Youtube. I was about to play a funny video that I like until I heard clanking and looked, seeing Vinyl Scratch staring at me. I pushed a button and the screen activated, revealing static. When it cleared, a video was playing. The video started at 1:23. Vinyl got curious and went to sit next to me. We began to watch the video together.
3:30 AM
We were watching it at 5:49 now.
Mario shouted “Let’s a-go!” There was a flash of light in the video and we see Mario standing. “I’m a-gonna get you.” He turned around and see a toilet that was connected to the something. On that thing was a Mario hat with a large mustache. “ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!?!”
Me and Vinyl burst into laughter.
Red Teletubbie asked “Do you want a cookie?”
Mario shouted in rage “NO!!!”
I paused it and both me and Vinyl hoof punch each other. Vinyl left without a word.
5:00 AM
I was wounding up the music box.
A boy voice said “Hi.” I looked up and see no one to the right. “Hello.”
I looked to the left and see Spike holding my double A batteries for my flashlight. He began to laugh for a bit before I noticed a glow around Spike’s balloon and sign until they disappeared, causing Spike to stop laughing and look at his balloon hand. We looked to the right and, to my surprise, see Rarifruit holding the balloon with her magic.
Rarifruit shouted “MINE!!!”
She teleported away, leaving me and a disappointed Spike. Spike left the batteries with me and walked down the hallway. I put the batteries in the flashlight before going to wound up the music box.
5:30 AM
I was looking at the Prize Corner camera and see Spike depressed. He kicked the music box and it started playing a different tone. That made both Spike and Vinyl stare in complete shock. I had my mouth gaping open in complete shock. I stopped and put away the tablet.
A male voice rang out in the office “Worrying about the little things, hey Danny? I’m surprise you have begun to cry by now.”
I looked up and see Discord, who was again, dismantled. I see the CMC there as well.
“Glad you came Discord. You picked a bad time to show up.”
Discord replied “Oh, why would I deny any appearance to a pony from Equestria.”
I got up and Discord looked to the hallway. Suddenly, a black blue jumped at me but I put up a ghost shield that shielded me from the attack. The figure landed in front of me, on the desk. To my surprise, the figure was an animatronic Chrysalis.
“When the guy said it was a Changeling, I guessed it was Chrysalis. Guess I was right.”
I noticed the other animatronics (besides the Withereds) coming down the hallway and seeing me there still, unarmed. They smiled and took Chrysalis away, back to her present box.
5:50 AM
I was alone, relaxing. The others were making sure Chrysalis didn’t try to escape, since Spike messed up the music box. I heard some clanking down the hallway and took my flashlight and activated it, only to see Withered Rainbow in the hall.
“Rainbow?”
Before I could react, W-Rainbow charged at me and jumped at me. I used my hooves to block the coming attack but nothing happened. I lowered hooves and see no sign of Rainbow. However, I did noticed the clip and paper on the desk. I lifted it up and went to look at it.
Dear Night Guard, Get out of here or you will die a horrible death! Signed, Rainbow the Pirate PS. IT’S ME!
I looked at it and smiled happily. At least she didn’t kill me but left me a note. I heard the bell and began to plan my next move.
I walked into the place. I see there was a large crowd but I didn’t mind. I went to the manager office and knocked. I was told to come in and I did. I see Fred and sat down on one of the chairs.
Fred asked “What is it?”
“Well, I met Rainbow the Pirate last night before I left. I also noticed that Twilight is a Unicorn and not an Alicorn. Why?”
Fred replied, beginning explaining “Oh yes. Well, I think it is time for you to know.” I nodded and sat closer to listen “As you know from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, Twilight was the main character of the show. So, a long time ago, back in 1975 when the show first came out, a company was focused on Twilight. Since in the show she was a Unicorn, they design her and the Mane 5 as the main characters. Twilight was famous and everything, but she didn’t have much of a good personality. Later, when Season Two came out around 1976, they edited Twilight and the others. They even tried to replicate the Elements of Harmony. It was around the same time when Fredbear’s Family Diner closed down. Of course, money problems began to occur. By the time Season Three came out, the place closed down. The animatronics were scrapped in the ruins of the place and now, around 1987, we managed to salvaged the animatronics from the ruins and tried to repair them. However, they were always glitchy and that was when they broke down. So, that was when we took their parts and made new animatronics. You already met them, including Chrysalis. While we were planning on making Nightmare Moon, but we thought Chrysalis would suit best because of the whole wedding thing and the reminder of how we compared her with Black Doom.”
“That is understandable. She managed to launch an invasion against Canterlot to try to take over and help her subjects.”
Fred asked “Say, since I’m the only one here who knows where you come from, how about you tell me some stuff about yourself?”
“Well, I’m the Son of the famous Princess Luna and King Sombra. I’m also the Champion of Unicron the Destroyer-“
Fred asked “Unicron? But, isn’t he from transformers?”
“Indeed. This is a whole different realm of Equestria we are talking about here.”
“True. So, anything happened there that happened here?” Fred stated.
“Well, there was the invasion of the Changelings. Pretty much anything that happened here effected Equestria. However, we have technology and the other realm doesn’t.”
Fred said “Well, to let you know, when Discord returned to be reformed may have been one of my favorite things in MLP.”
“Alright. Well, I should get going. I need to be ready to combat the Withereds.”
Fred nodded and I left.
12:00 AM
I was in my office, sitting on the chair. I had put the Applejack head close to me in case the withered animatronics came. That was when I heard the phone ringing then there was a click.
Phone Guy said “Hello, hello? See? I told you wouldn't have any problems!”
“I didn’t but now I am.”
Phone Guy asked “Did...uh... Did Rainbow ever appear in the hallway?”
“Yes.”
Phone Guy stated “Probably not. I was just curious. Like I said, she was always my favorite. They tried to remake Rainbow, ya know? Uh, they thought the first one was too scary, so they redesigned her to be more kid-friendly and put her in Kid's Cove. To keep the toddlers entertained, you know... But kids these days just can't keep their hands to themselves. However, there was something that went wrong with the Rainbow replacement so we had to get rid of it. So, we ended up building Discord instead. The staff literally has to put Discord back together after every shift. So eventually they stopped trying and left him as some 'take apart and put back together' attraction. Now he's just a mess of parts. I think the employees refer to him as just "The Mangle."
“Wow, no wonder Discord was thankful when I repaired him.”
Phone Guy said “Oh, hey, before I go, uh, I wanted to ease your mind about any rumors you might have heard lately. You know how these local stories come and go and seldom mean anything. I can personally assure you that, whatever is going on out there, and however tragic it may be, has nothing to do with our establishment. It's just all rumor and speculation... People trying to make a buck. You know... Uh, our guard during the day has reported nothing unusual. And he's on watch from opening til close.”
“You know, I’ve never seen the guy. Maybe I should try to find out who he is and maybe see if he is related somehow.”
Phone Guy stated “Okay, well anyway, hang in there and I'll talk to you tomorrow.”
“Alright, even though I never met you before.” I began to look at the cameras.
4:00 AM
I was looking through the cameras again. Ever since Spike broke the music box, my animatronic friends managed to find a way to prevent Chrysalis from going after me again. I was flipping through the cameras and when I switched to the Parts and Service room, I received only static. I went to a different camera and found Withered Fluttershy staring at the camera. I lowered the camera and flashed the light through the hallway, seeing Withered Rainbow and flashed a bit more, making her go away. I went to look at the cameras again but never noticed the clanking in the vents. After a few minutes, the tablet was swiped from me and I see it was Withered Twilight. She dropped it to the floor and crushed it with her only front hoof. She looked at me and I began to back up.
“Hello Twilight… Can’t we talk about this?” Withered Twilight didn’t reply. She came up to me and grabbed my throat and lifted me off the ground. I began to choke. However, before I could be choked to my death, something hits Withered Twilight in the back of the head, making her go out cold. I fell to the floor, gasping for air. When I got enough air, I got up and see it was Octavia with her, now broken, guitar. I smiled at her. “Thanks a lot Octavia.”
Octavia smiled and began to drag Withered Twilight away.
5:30 AM
I was sitting in my office. Without my tablet, I couldn’t see the place around. I began to hear hoof steps and went to grab my empty head tool. When a figure came inside, it was Withered Fluttershy.
Withered Fluttershy said “I-it’s party time.”
I put on the empty head and deciding it will be funny, I began to make the sound effects of Vader’s breathing. I looked at Withered Fluttershy.
“Hello Fluttershy…”
Withered Fluttershy stared for a few minutes before leaving. I lifted the head up.
“Suckers.”
A female robot said “It always a fun t-time in Pinkie Pie’s Party-“
I put the head down and I see it was Withered Applejack.
“You don’t know the power of the dark side.”
Withered Applejack looked to the left then the right then looked at me and giggled nervously before leaving. I chuckled and when it hit 6:00 AM, I left.
Meanwhile…
Two ponies were in a basement, planning.
Male Pony said with anger “I’m getting impatient of waiting! When are we going to kill them!?”
Female Pony replied “Calm down Vincent, our time is almost here.”
Vincent shouted “But Starlight, I want to help you kill them! I want to kill Applebloom for picking on my son!”
Starlight replied calmly “Don’t worry; you’ll get your revenge. Just remember the plan. You use the Golden Applejack suit to lure the Mane 6 into the Parts and Service room and both of us kill them. Then, I’ll lure Applebloom to the parts and service room and you can kill her for revenge.”
Vincent smiled with evil at the plan.
Vincent asked “When do we start?”
Starlight answered “This Sunday. The same day that Spy will strike.”
I came into the place but to my surprise, there was no crowd. The sign said “Closed, Employees only can enter”. I walked in and see that the stage was closed off. I saw mechanics repairing the three animatronics and I saw Fred coming over to me.
“What happened here, Fred?”
Fred replied “Oh, someone was tampering with the animatronics. Also, we noticed that the Withered animatronics had come active last night.”
“Indeed. Twilight almost killed me last night, if it wasn’t for Octavia. How did this happen?”
Fred said “We don’t know, but we think Chrysalis is involved.”
“Why?”
Fred replied “We found a wrench in her box. Also, we repaired the music box and got you a new tablet.”
I nodded and looked to the box. I walked over and knocked on the box.
“I know you are listening Chrysalis. Meet me tonight at Dining Room. I wanted to talk to you about your murder. And before you asked, I have special powers that allow me to sense ghosts and spirits, and I had a friend told me that you were haunted. I want to know your whole story and help me in my search to finding your killer.”
I began to leave. I walked as far as an arcade machine when I looked at the box and was shocked to see it slightly lifted and glowing green slit eyes staring at me. I smiled at her and the box closed. I began to walk away, sitting down on a table to think. I began to fall asleep.
I slowly began to open my eyes and I find myself somewhere else. I looked around, sensing that this was the Dreamscape. I was still in the place, but I was in my ethereal form, my dream wanderer form. I could feel a nightmare close by and I went to go see it. It came from Chrysalis’ box and I jumped inside, preparing to see what exactly what the filly of the animatronic has been through.
I appeared in a dream. I blinked a few times and found myself in a place. It looked like a changeling hive and I walked into a chamber and see Queen Chrysalis brushing her hair. But this was a teenager mare. She looked the size of Twilight. I smiled at the peaceful dream. But soon it all faded to something different.
I found myself outside what looked like a giant party place. I see Chrysalis staring through a window, crying. She wanted to go inside but the desk man was being racist and refused to allow a ‘changeling’ to go inside. You know, that made me a mental note to find the guy and give him a talk or two. That was when I heard a car approaching. Both me and Chrysalis looked at it and the car was purple. When the car door stopped beside Chrysalis, the car door opened and a mare came out. It was Starlight Glimmer! I was confused but when I pulled out the recorder and played it.
The Recording said its documentary “Well, our killer was a female mare. All I remember was that she had a Pink Coat and her CM was a purple and white star with two blue glimmering streams or somewhere around there.”
I began to compare the recording and Starlight and gasped. The description was exactly right! Starlight IS the Purple Mare! I scowled, now knowing why she killed them the first place. Twilight and her friends had embarrassed and revealed Starlight’s secret, the replacing of her Cutie Mark. No wonder why she was the killer of the Mane six. But she had no quarrel with Applebloom or Peter, neither does she have quarrel with Chrysalis. Or maybe it was the whole racism thing.
Chrysalis asked “Hello?”
Starlight replied “Hello there, my dear. Why are you out here, all alone?”
Chrysalis stated “Well, the desk man said that no changelings are allowed here but there is no rule about it.”
“Oh racists. I hate them. Come with me, we can go find somewhere where we can talk.” Starlight lied.
Chrysalis had doubts and followed her. They didn’t go to the care, they were just passing an alley when Starlight stopped and pushed Chrysalis into the alleyway. Chrysalis stumbled into the alleyway and Starlight pulled out a knife and stabbed the knife into Chrysalis’ heart. There was a gasped of pain from Chrysalis and Starlight pulled out the knife, blood began to shoot out of her chest. Chrysalis fell to the ground, bleeding to death. Starlight went back to the car after ditching the knife and took off. I watched her go and I went to check Chrysalis. She died and I began to cry.
“Chrysalis…I’m so sorry. I wish that I was there, I could have saved you. But don’t worry, I’ll find Starlight and KILL her. You must have revenge and I will grant you it.”
The world began to fade away.
I woke up in a start, remember what had happened. I looked at the clock and it was 5:00 AM. I was confused, why didn’t anybody wake me up? That was when I heard some weird music playing and I looked. The box was open and Chrysalis was walking to me.
“I have seen what Starlight has done to you. It’s unforgivable and I WILL track her down. But I need your help. You see, I come from a distant land. There, six poor victims are dead and have become souls, haunting animatronics. They, like you, were killed by Starlight Glimmer. I have come back through time in order to prevent the death of those children and hopefully save them and you from this darkness.”
Chrysalis: “I will help you. If it means to finding my killer, I’ll do it without a second thought.”
“Thank you. I promise you, you will have your revenge. By the way, I have a question. Was it you who tampered with the animatronics?”
“No. I was still knocked out until this morning. By the time I woke up, I saw something on stage, messing with the animatronics. It left its wrench in my box, making me take the fall.” Chrysalis replies
“Alright. I’ll inform Fred and we will find out who or what did it.”
Chrysalis nodded and left. I remained in the Dining Room.
Meanwhile in the Parts and Service Room…
The Withered Animatronics were talking to each other about how they thought the Night Guard might look familiar. However, before they could continue, there was something that came out of nowhere. It was an Applejack animatronic but it was Purple and nothing else. But the eyes were soulless black with pure white pupils.
A ghostly voice said to them “I know you want to know the truth of the night guard. The truth is that he was the one who murderer the last night guard in the last place.”
The Withereds gasped in shock. While they had little memory of the place, the night guard there was so very kind. They gave anger expressions and began to make plans on how to capture me.
I walked into the Party Palace. When I did, I see the animatronics working good as new. I smiled and they noticed me and smiled back. I looked to Fred and came over to chat with him about the last night guard that I have been hearing about. He noticed me and welcomes me.
Fred asked “Danny, what can I help you with?”
“I have been hearing something of another night guard who came before me and survived his first week but was then swapped to the day watch and I became the new night guard. You mind if you can tell me who he or she is?”
Fred gasped in a bit of surprise before sigh and looking at me with a sad expression.
Fred explained “His name is Vincent Waller, he’s an Earth Pony. He was nicknamed by the staff “Purple Guy”, even though he wasn’t even a man. They thought “Guy” since he was a male would be good for him. Anyway, Vincent has been with animatronics back then. Vincent was back then when the original cast was created. He left after two years of working as a night guard in the original place. Now, just a few weeks ago, he came back as a night guard but switched.”
I nodded in understanding and began to think about on how Purple was still alive in this time then I realized that he never aged in the future! I began to wonder how he managed to keep his youth.
“Where is he now?”
Fred said “Well, he is not here or never seen around. But no doubt he heard what Applebloom did to his son…”
“What do you mean?”
Fred explained “Well, a few days ago, Vincent’s son had been breaking so many rules that there was nothing we could do about it since he was Vincent’s son. However, Applebloom; Applejack’s younger sister, managed to beat Vincent’s son and send him packing. I think Vincent wasn’t too happy about it and tried to sew the Apple Family but it failed so he went missing.”
I sigh in sadness and nodded.
“Thanks for your help.” Fred nodded and I left. Before I began to leave the place, I see the Mane 6 with Applebloom. I gulped, they were here and I was having a sinking feeling in the dark depths of my stomach. ‘Don’t worry girls, I’ll protect you.’ I began to leave. As I began to drive away, I could have sworn I saw a glimpse of Starlight’s evil grin looking at the Party Palace.
12:00 AM
I was on the chair, waiting for some action. I heard the phone ringing.
“Oh yes, I didn’t hear the last one. My mistake.”
I heard the phone click.
Phone Guy said “Hello, hello? Hey, good job, night 5!”
“Thanks.”
Phone Guy said “Um, hey, um, keep a close eye on things tonight, ok? Um, from what I understand, the building is on lockdown, uh, no one is allowed in or out, y'know, especially concerning any...previous employees.”
“What? I was unaware of such things.”
Phone Guy explained “Um, when we get it all sorted out, we may move you to the day shift, a position just became...available. Uh, we don't have a replacement for your shift yet, but we're working on it. Uh, we're going to try to contact the original restaurant owner. Uh, I think the name of the place was..."Fredjack's Family Diner" or something like that. It's been closed for years though; I doubt we'll be able to track anybody down. Well, just get through one more night! Uh, hang in there! Goodnight!”
I was both shocked and devastated. Why didn’t Fred tell me anything? I made me angry but I didn’t pay much mind. I went back to what I was doing. Preventing the Withered Animatronics from getting to me.
3:00 AM
I was on my chair, checking room to room. However, I lowered the pad and was greeted with Withered Rarity. She screeched at me and I thought it was all over. Instead, she grabbed my leg and she began to drag me to the parts and service room.
“Anypony, help me!! Rarity, you don’t want to do this!” I began to pull back, stopping Withered Rarity in her tracks. Withered Twilight noticed this and grabbed my other hoof, slowly dragging me to the room. “Please, you don’t want to do this! It’s me, your best friend, your best bub.” I pleaded before switching it to something formal “Ladies please.” I was pulled into the room. The lights were off for some reason and I felt myself being lifted and put on a chair. Next thing I feel, I was being tied up and when they finished tying me up, the lights turned on. I see all the Withered Animatronics around me. “Ladies please, if you wanted to talk or something, maybe we could have done it in the office.”
Withered Rainbow said “Shut it lad.”
Withered Pinkie stated “We want to know who you are imposter, before we stuff you into an Applejack Suit.”
“As lovely as that sounds, I have to unfortunately decline.”
“Did we say you have a choice in the matter?” Withered Applejack asked.
“Everypony has the right of the freedom of speech.”
Withered Rarity said coldly “I didn’t think you cared for rights.”
“My dear, you know very little of me.”
Withered Fluttershy said “We know you are a murderer.”
“Who told you that? The newspaper delivery pony?” I asked with sarcasm.
Withered Rainbow replied “Nay, it was Purple Applejack.”
I had a confused look on my face. Never have I heard such a name before.
Withered Pinkie said “And now, we are going to kill you, murderer.”
“You wanted my name, my name is Danny Eclipse.”
That caused a chain reaction. All six began to twitch and glitch until they shut off and fell to the ground. I heard the door open and see the Toys walking in. I chuckled and they let me go. I began to leave away.
5:50 AM
I was sitting in the secret supply closet behind office. I began to hear some movement and I managed to peek out. It was something I never thought I would see personally. It was the Purple Applejack, no doubt the same one that tricked the withered animatronics and probably sabotaged the Toy animatronics and made the blame go straight to Chrysalis. She was looking around, trying to figure out where I was at. I leaned back against the wall, waiting patiently. But that was when I heard something.
“S-A-V-E.” A mysterious robotic voice said in the room.
I looked at the source and see something there. It was a shadow of Twilight Sparkle but she was all black except for her pure white eyes and mouth. She disappeared moments later, leaving me alone.
‘Save?’
I heard the bell going off. I smiled and got up and began to walk to the desk, got my pay, and left.
I walked to the place and see the staff was active all of a sudden. I was wondering why. I see Fred and walked over to talk to him.
“Hey Fred, what’s going on?”
Fred said “We have a security breach. The withered animatronics are going haywire; they have been trying to get out.”
“Really?”
Fred answered “Yes. They have been stopped but we don’t know for how long.”
“I’ll take this time to hide in the secret room. Maybe I can manage a way to work for a Night 6 to settle this problem once and for all.”
“You sure you can do this?” Fred asked.
“I’m positive. Whatever this Purple Applejack want from me, I’ll show her that I’m not an opponent to be pushed around.”
Fred replied “Well, I give you the best of luck mate. I’ll be seeing you tomorrow morning.”
I nodded and began to run to the office. When arriving, I went to the secret room and fell asleep in there.
12:00 AM
Meanwhile in the Main Hallway…
Purple Applejack was having a talk with the Withered Animatronics, who managed to get out of the Parts and Service room at last.
Purple AJ shouted in anger “You had one job, ONE JOB! And you failed it miserably! How could he get out of your grasps!?”
“Well, we don’t remember how. He said two words and we automatically shut down. We will get him next time.” Withered Applejack protested.
Purple AJ said “Not this time. We are killing him and we can stuff his corpse into the animatronic suit.”
Vinyl shouted “Not happening!”
The animatronics turned to look. The Toys were on the other side of the hallway; their eyes were soulless black with white pupils. They were ready to fight when needed. Purple AJ was disappointed that they would protect me from danger. She got out of the withered animatronics way.
“They will protect our target. Deal with them at once!” Purple AJ ordered.
Purple AJ disappeared from sight. The Withered Animatronics had angry expressions now and their eyes changed to soulless Black with White Pupils. Both sides stared at each other for a bit before engaging in battle.
2:30 AM
I woke up in the secret room and accidently bumped into something.
“Damn it!” I opened the door and walked out. I closed it behind me and I went in front of my desk with my flashlight. I could hear some fight and I flashed the light down. I see Vinyl battling Withered Applejack by throwing a series of punches at each other. I turned it off and flashed back down. This time I see Withered Twilight on the ground, being beat down by Octavia with a Guitar. I couldn’t help but chuckle at this scene. It was actually quite funny. I turned it off and then flashed again. This next one made me laugh. I see Withered Fluttershy being slapped rapidly by Trixie. I shut it off again and flashed again. This time, I see Withered Pinkie Pie being beat up by the CMC, which resulted in me laughing even more. I shut it off and flashed again, this time I see Withered Rarity being picked on for fashion by Chrysalis, who was holding a dress high above Withered Rarity’s head. I shut it off and waiting a few seconds before flashing down again. This time I see Withered Rainbow Dash being tied around a Mangled Discord. Withered Rainbow noticed my flashlight’s light and managed to get Discord off her before turned towards me. I turned the flashlight off, waiting for a few seconds before I see Withered Rainbow jumping at me. I ducked below and she went flying over my head. She crashed into the wall behind the desk then she fell to the ground. I looked at her before feeling a cold presence in the hall. I turned and flashed down and I see Purple Applejack looking at me with an angry expression. I had an angry expression on my face now and I dropped the, still on, Flashlight. “I’m done messing with you now. Get over here you little sissy!” I waited a few seconds before Purple Applejack jumped at me. Only thing was that I grabbed one of her mechanical legs and I chuckled before throwing her to the ground. “Didn’t your momma ever tell you not to play with my machines? And another thing, you’re ugly.”
I turned to walk away. Little did I know that Purple AJ got up and tried to grab me. However, she was stopped by Spike, who used his sign to knock Purple AJ out cold. I looked behind as I see Purple AJ fall to the ground. I see Spike looked down on her. To thank him, I gave him a Texas Hat that I picked up, which he gladly took. We laughed a bit before hearing a screech and we went to see what had happened. When we arrived, we see the destroyed Withered Animatronics. I was shocked completely.
Trixie said, apologetic “Sorry Danny…”
I didn’t look up to her and I began to walk away. I went to the secret room and sat against the wall. The Toys came in and both Octavia and Trixie went to cuddle to me, trying to comfort me. I didn’t mind. However, I began to fall asleep.
7:30 AM
I woke up when I heard the door open and I looked. To my surprise, it was Peter. He couldn’t make out what was going on but we both laughed. It was short lived when we heard a gunshot echo. We got up and began to run to the main room. The Toys woke up and began to follow us as well.
Meanwhile in the Main Room…
Vincent had Fred hostage and had a gun pointed at the crowd. There was panic and mayhem.
Fred said with hatred “You scum bag…”
We arrived to the scene. I had my chain gun out, ready to kill anyone who was threatening the place. We see Vincent and I got angry.
Me and Peter shouted in unison “Vincent!”
Vincent looked at us and aimed his gun at us before realizing his advantage and aimed his gun at Fred’s head.
Vincent said “Just drop the gun Danny.” I looked helpless and I complied. Vincent’s grin widen before we heard Police Sirens. Vincent had an angry frown on his face and he looked past us. We looked as well and see the Toy animatronics. No doubt they had alerted the police with their technology, or Police connection. “I hate you!”
Vincent pulled the trigger, killing Fred with his shot. After he dropped Fred, he aimed his gun at us and we put out hooves/hands up. I looked up and see Discord crawling over Vincent. I smirked and looked at Vincent.
“You are a long way from friends.”
“Oh please. Why would you-“ Vincent said before being interrupted.
He was interrupted when Discord screeched and bite Vincent’s head off. He dropped it to the ground and looks at me.
“Good job.”
Discord smiles and I looked at Fred before I see Shadow Twilight again.
Shadow Twilight said in her normal voice “T-H-E-M.”
She disappeared once again.
‘Them? Save Them?’
I began to think before realizing that maybe I was supposed to take the Toy animatronics maybe.
Later after the Funeral…
I was in the, now closed, Pinkie Pie’s Party Palace. The will of Fred was read and I planned to take these Toys with me. They gathered to me and before we left, we see Shadow Twilight again and she was with another animatronic named Barb. Turns out that she was Spike’s Twin Sister. I smiled and I used the magic rune and teleported them all (Except for the Withereds and Purple AJ) back to the real world.
Soundwave was finishing up two robots, two animatronics being exact. The first one was a red unicorn who had blonde mane and tail. His cutie mark was a symbol of three triangles which each represents courage, power, and wisdom. It had a replica copy of the Medallion of Primus around its neck. The other one had a black coat, white mane and tail and lower half of legs, where the hooves were. His cutie mark was a white ghostly D with a black P at the center of it. Around its neck was the replica of the Medallion of Unicron. Soundwave had finished the modifications and put them in packages for travel. He began to carry the two boxes and began to travel to the barrier.
I blinked a few times before I see several light arrows leaving the book and hitting the floor. They formed into the Toy animatronics. I smiled and they blinked before looking at me and smiling.
Vinyl asked “So this is our new life?”
“Indeed. But you aren’t alone! GIRLS, WE HAVE NEW FRIENDS!!”
The Toys were curious until they see the original cast coming out and smiling at them. The Toy animatronics were shocked to see them.
Twilight cried out in happiness “Vinyl, Octavia, and Trixie!”
“Discord and the CMC too!” Rainbow added.
Fluttershy greeted “Hello Chrysalis.”
“Spike and Barb as well, it seems.” Rarity said.
Peter [Golden Pinkie] asked “Shadow Twilight? Who are you?”
Shadow Twilight replied “I’m Fred, who are you?”
“Fred? It’s me, Peter!” Peter shouted with joy?
Fred asked in shock “Peter?”
They all greeted up to each other and I smiled. When the greeting ended, questions were asked and I gladly answered them.
Twilight shouted in shock “Wait; so YOU were the Night Guard back in 1987!?”
“Indeed. You know, I sort of went back in time with my Time Travel Ability and combined the power of the book.”
Rainbow said “So you failed to stop our deaths…”
“Not exactly. Peter, something is wrong.”
“What do you mean?” Peter asked.
“You were killed by Vincent, right?” Peter nodded “But in the story, Vincent died to Discord when he bit his head off. So, how did he survive?”
Peter replied “No one is immortal in that world, except, maybe for you.”
Fred asked “They couldn’t have stitch his head back together and he survived?”
“No way. Somepony else is behind it. I think Peter’s killer was a disguised Starlight.”
They all gasped in shock.
Twilight asked “Are you sure?”
“I’m never sure about things. But what I don’t get is why pretend to be Vincent? If Vincent died in 1987, then who was the Vincent in 2014?”
“I think it is something that is going to bite us in the back later.” Peter said.
“I agree. For now, let’s hope I won’t find out who was behind it.”
I began to hear my beeper go off and I smiled. Looks like Soundwave is on his way to the place with the animatronics I requested. I began to leave to greet him.
I managed to get past the crowd outside the barrier and I met up with Soundwave. He had the animatronics in boxes and I nodded to him.
“Good work Soundwave. You may take your leave now but do not tell no pony of these two. If they try to take the information, delete it or crash your drives in order to protect the safety of this surprise.”
Soundwave nodded and I began to walk back towards the barrier. I opened a hole to let the boxes in and I walked into the barrier. I let the barrier close and I opened the doors and let the boxes in. When I put them on stage, the others came over to look. I unlocked the boxes and let them open by falling apart. When they finished, the two animatronics of me and Charming were now there. I smiled at the sight and the two animatronics opened their eyes and looked around. Chrysalis pointed her front hooves at them and a white light began to glow brightly and we closed our eyes. When it dimmed, the two animatronics were on the ground and it was Danny who responded first. He lifted his head, revealing soulless black eyes with white pupils. His head was glitchy and twitched every seconds. Charming lifted his head and his eyes were the same with the same glitch of the twitching. After a few minutes, they stopped and they looked around. I pulled out my computer and had changed the Toy animatronics’ programming, positing themselves in the Arcade Room. I had repaired Discord, making him happy. Animatronic Danny was position with Rainbow Dash, he had spare parts. He could replace his right hoof with a hooked hoof and he could get a pirate patch for his right eye. Him and Rainbow were to be Pirate Mates, Rainbow was Captain while Danny was her First Mate. Animatronic Charming was position with Twilight but was a singer, like Applejack. Deep inside me, though, I had a feeling something was missing.
