Everybody is ready for the wonderbolt show in Canterlot most of all Rainbow dash, but something unexpected happens.
Rainbow dash is excited for the wonderbolt show in Canterlot but the changelings show up and the changeling queen shows up too and traps soarin and rainbow dash in her cave world. What will happen? to find out what happens read the story. Disclaimer the cover picture is not mine
"Hey twilight, open up" said rainbow. Twilight got up from reading a really great book to open the door for rainbow dash. "Okay rainbow dash, what are you doing here so early and why are you so excited".
Rainbow dash looked at twilight in a really dumb way."twilight of course you wouldn't know why I'm so excited your an egghead"
Twilight replied "tell me "
"okay down I'll tell you I got tickets for me, you, flutter shy, apple jack, rarity, and pinkie for the Wonderbolt show that's tomorrow in canterlot".
"Wow rainbow dash thanks really" said twilight.
"no problem and could you go tell the others about this and will meet tomorrow at the train station so we can leave for canterlot" said rainbow,
"okay then, bye" said twilight.
THE NEXT DAY.......
Where did they go, thought rainbow dash. As if right on cue the show up. "Hey girls ready to go" said RD.
"yes we're ready as we'll ever be" said all five ponies together.
" ALL ABOARD "said the train conductor .
"Ok girls let's go" said rainbow dash.
"Ok" said everyone.
IN THE TRAIN....
Rainbow dash was looking outside through a window thinking about the show. Then she heard the train whistle blow, which meant their in canterlot.
Rainbow dash got off the train she was amazed at the view of canterlot its was simply awesome well divine if you want to talk like the high society snobs in canterlot.
."wow this looks great it has everything balloons,streamers, and food" pinkie shouted that cut rainbows train of thought.
"What was that for pinkie, you shouted in my ear, think of some ponys ear please" rainbow said in a annoyed tone
"sorry for that dashie" pinkie apologized.
" nah it's cool, next time just talk a little more quietly" said rainbow.
"OKIE DOKIE LOCKEI" pinkie said as she jumped towards the head of the group.
"Girl enough chit chat'n we are going to be late for the show and I know rainbow dash wouldn't want to miss the wonderbolts perform" said apple jack in a serious tone. All the ponies nodded their heads in agreement to what apple jack had just said.
LATER ONN~~~~~~
After walking for about an hour the girls made it to the wonderbolts arena.
"We found our seats" said RD.
"we did, yay" said fluttershy.
"We better sit down before the show starts darlings" said rarity.
"Kay" said the group in unison.
Now the whole group was silent and rainbow dash had time before the wonderbolts come to appreciate the beautiful arena. She thought it was epic, awesome, and cool just like her. It was just like a dream to be in a place she was born to be in. It felt like she was on top of the world.
BACK STAGE(Wonderbolts)
"Come on the crowd is waiting for us" said spitfire.
" you go before us and then we will come" soarin and fleet foot said in unison.
" okay, I'm going to go now" said spitfire.
BACK IN THE ARENA...
Spitfire stepped out and and spoke in the microphone and said "hello every pony and welcome to the canterlot wonderbolts arena, today we will choose a random ponys name form a hat and the pony who is chosen will do one of their signature moves for us near the end of the show", she took a water break and said " introducing soarin and fleet foot my two fellow flyers and now will start the show".
"Wow rainbow thought soarin was handsome, What am I saying thought rainbow dash you don't think anyone's handsome now snap out of it". I'm not rarity or twilight. Im rainbow dash and I'm not into all that mushy stuff, well still he's kinda cute. Rainbow thought to her self.
THE PERFORMANCE....
First spitfire flew up to the sky and then rapidly descended and while she was doing that soarin and fleet foot were flying in zig zags around her rainbow dash thought that was the best part of the whole performance it was just magnificent. The last part was when they flew in a line and gray clouds were their streaks it was a nice closing performance.
THE CHOSEN PERFORMANCE...
Soarin now went up to the mic and said" I will pick a random name and that pony will come up here and do their move", then soarin closed his eyes and said " the chosen pony is Rainbow Dash". "Oh my god rainbow you got picked"said twilight
"wow, I feel so happy for you" said fluttershy.
"you have dream to accomplish" said pinkie,AJ,and rarity in unison.
"Hello Equstria to rainbow dash" said the group of friends.
Then soarin spoke again "rainbow Dash please come up here".
With that said rainbow dash got up and went up to the wonderbolts. This is what she has been waiting for her entire life. She can't fail her stunt or she will be a laughing stock, or even worse she might be called rainbow crash and heck na she didnt want to be called rainbow crash. Well she snapped out of her thinking when she got close to the wonderbolts.
first soarin spoke "want to tell the crowd what we are going to do".
rainbow replied "sure".
Rainbow dash walked up to the mic and said " hello ponies of canterlot, I rainbow dash the element of loyalty will do the sonic rainboom" soarin chuckled at her pride. After that rainbow flew up in intense speed then she reached her limit, after that she flew down rapidly and the a cone shaped hoop formed around her hips and with that she broke the sound barrier and a rainbow streak formed after that she flew across the whole arena leaving a whole rainbow every pony could see.
The wonder bolts jaws dropped and then rainbow landed right in front of them and said "what did you think". The wonder bolts replied "that was AWESOME".
Thanks" said rainbow dash.
Then the sky became dark and then the ground started shaking the ponies all flew off even rainbows friends only soarin and rainbow dash were left helping every pony out. Then there was no pony in the arena and chrysalis came out of nowhere and sent both soarin and rainbow dash to her unknown cave world.
Soarin and Rainbow Dash ended up in place where no pony would be caught dead in, it was terrifying. When you look around there is nothing but darkness and rocks something you would expect from a cave that was created by an evil mad pony. Soarin and Rainbow were a few meters apart but they couldn't see anything. They both had scars and bruises from the hard fall. One word to describe this is the word nightmare.
"HERE, I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING" yelled Soarin. Then moments later soarin felt soft hair he was stepping on and he realized that it was Rainbow, but seconds later...
"OWWWWW" yelled rainbow dash in pain.
"ehh... Sorry" Soarin said as he was blushing, at least it was dark and no pony could see blush in front of his crush, yes Rainbow was Soarin's crush since the gala, he thought she was the most beautiful mare in Equstria.
"it's... Okay" Rainbow said as she was starting to shiver and shake.
"Rainbow want to go sit somewhere, like that corner because I'm freezing cold" said Soarin as he was starting to shiver too.
"o..o..okay" said RD
AFTER WALKING TO THE CORNER OF THE CAVE.....
"Soarin I'm cold" said Rainbow
"me too"replied soarin
Then soarin got up and put Rainbow Dash in his lap and draped his wing over her. Then rainbow dug her face into soarin chest as he put his chin on top of her head and started rocking them back and forth until Rainbow Dash spoke up and said "how long do you think we can last"
"three days tops, without food and water"Soarin said with a fake smile
"really" said Rainbow she almost near tears
"maybe, but everything will be alright and once we are out of here, I will teach you some tricks. who am I kidding I don't think we are going to survive, AND I DON'T WANT YOU TO LEAVE ME BECAUSE, I ALWAYS HAD A CRUSH ON YOU, And I...m.. Telling you now because we might not make it" Soarin said as he was crying near the end of his confession.
"Soarin I always had a crush on you too, let's just make these last three days the best starting with this" then RD kissed soarin on the cheek.
soarin was blushing like crazy, then he said "I'm tired can we get some sleep" . By the time he was finished talking Rainbow had already fallen asleep in his arms. "we have along day ahead of us Tommorow" thought soarin.
Rainbow dash POV I awoke from my slumber. "Where am I" I thought to herself. "Oh ya, I'm in this terrifying nightmare of a cave. There were no words to describe this cave, the rocks so rough they will make something soft turn tougher than bad baked cupcakes, the chill it felt as if you were put in a freezer times ten, and the odor it smelled like a rat died in here.
Then I saw a luminescent light shone on the ground not too far from where she and Soarin were sleeping in. That reminds me where is soarin. Then all of a sudden I start shouting "SOARIN WHERE THE HAY ARE YOU".
"IM HERE, HELPPP" said soarin in a shocked and terrified tone.
I know he needs help so I go to where I heard is loud yelling and what I saw made me want to burst out laughing like a MAD PONY. "HOW DID YOU GET YOURSELF IN THIS MESS". Soarin literally had his wing stuck in between two medium sized rocks. His face was priceless, no not even priceless it was pathetic, but still I want to help. I went up to help him. But deep down inside I know I feel pathetic. I wish I could get out of this real life blood curdling nightmare.
------------------------------------------------------------ After that pathetic yet miserable moment Soarin and Dash went towards the light that shone on the rocks, it looked like that light is coming from above. Or it could be a tiny crack that nopony can get through and that would mean that THERE WILL BE NO HOPE WHATSOEVER. And oh boy that would not end well, both Soarin and Dash would probably rot to death if that would ever happen. Soarins POV What the crust is going on, man that was pathetic anyway I bet we are going to find that mysterious light and if not that would be bad, and bad wouldn't be a word to describe it;a word to describe that type of situation would be TERRIFYING. Just thinking of that situation send chills up my spine. Then outta nowhere Dash yelled "I FOUND IT, I FOUND IT, HEY SOARIN I FOUND IT" Soarin replied " you mean you found the light" Rainbow said "yeah, and it looks like there's enough space for both of us to get out" Soarin replied "OH YEAH,OH YEAH,OH YEAH. WAIT I NEED A MOMENT TO DO MY CELEBRATION DANCE" Rainbow began to say "wha-" before she got cut off by Soarin's horrible dance moves. One way to describe it would be horrifying, he looked like a dying fish. THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN RAINBOW SHOUTED "IF YOU WANNA GET OUT WE BETTER GET OUT NOW, AND WHEN I SAY NOW I MEAN RIGHT NOW, BTW YOUR CELEBRATION DANCE WAS UMM HOW DO I SAY THIS IN A NICE WAY,UHHH DIFFERENT, YA DIFFERENT, THAT IS WHAT IT WAS. Soarin replied in a confused tone "okayy then let's get going" After that madness they head towards the large crack in the ceiling so that they can escape from this cave jail thing.
They looked up to see the oddly shaped crack. It was very sharp, but big. “Hmm, who should go first” said Rainbow “I don't know” said Soarin “ROCK,PAPER,SCISSORS.” Smirked Dash “Oh, you're on” Soarin said “BEST two out of three” replied Dash “Kayy” said soarin
SOMETIME AFTER THE GAME… “HA, I WON” Soarin said “Ya,ya, whatever” Rainbow said “I'm gonna get out, I'll be waiting for you” Soarin said Soarin flew up and saw the crack, it was very sharp. He had to move very slowly so he wouldn't get scratched. He kept on moving up(SLOWER THAN SNAIL SPEED). Until he made out. It was now Rainbow’s turn to get out. She didn't move as slow as Soarin, so she made it out quicker than him. “I'm here” Rainbow said. There was no reply, Where did Soarin go, Dash thought. She started to panic. But then she saw a note on the ground that read: Hello, You maybe wondering where Soarin went. Not that I know where he went, well who cares let me just ruin the fun for you. I took Soarin, and unless you prove, I shouldn't hold him captive, I will not free him. By the way he is in the cave that's right in front of you. Well I think that's all I have to say. Ugh, my name is ScaryNight Hehehehe I feel so evil.
Rainbow threw the paper on the ground, she felt terrible, she felt like the pressure of Equestria was all on her back. It was my fault, I hurt Soarin, why does this have to happen to me, I meant no harm. Rainbow was in deep thought. I bet Soarin is going to hate me, and how am I going to prove that he isn't supposed to be captive. Rainbow suck it up and go in the cave and help Soarin. Rainbow dash stopped thinking and went to actually help Soarin.
She took a deep breathe and walked towards the entrance of the cave. I'm coming Soarin. Dash thought.
The cave was dark,but light up in a way that a pony could see things in. She walked in and heard faint yelling noises,it was Soarin. She ran towards the noise, or a more accurate description SCREAMING,JUST PLAIN SCREAMING. Rainbow could not make out what Soarin was saying. She kept on walking, until she stopped dead in her tracks, she saw a sight, that even a strong mare like her, would be scared of. It was Soarin, he was locked up,in something that looked like a jail cell. And she saw the mare who left the note on the ground, it was Scarynights. It looked like Soarin was in pain, because there was some type of light that was above him, it was hitting him just like lighting. Rainbow then heard Soarin say,”Rainbow Dash I'm dying, I don't think I can take any more of this, it hurts Dash”. “ aww, so adorable I love the way pain sounds like,I bet it sounds absolutely wonderful” said Scarynights in the most menacing way. “Rainbow dash if that's your name, if you want Soarin to be free, or to break the AHEM,AHEM spell I put on him, you must take this painful spell and after that Soarin will be free, but instead of Soarin having the spell, you will.” “Rainbow d..on..t d.o it, please” Soarin managed to say. “Or you have to break the spell, by melting that heart that's made out of steel. The only thing that could melt that heart is love, somebody that loves Soarin must spill their heart out to him, then the steel heart will melt and the spell will be broken, I must leave, I will be back. Make your decision take the spell, or melt the steel heart to break the spell”. And with that Sarynights disappeared. Leaving a very confused Dash and a sad Soarin, to think about what to do.
