I don't know how I got here, I don't know why I am here, but I, no, WE will find out.
I was just a normal student in high school. I went to school, went to Cross Country practice, went home, studied, and went to bed. However, I wake up to find my self surrounded by unicorns, and I don't know why. I don't get a chance to find out, because of there are others determined to find out, no matter what the cost....
"Pinkie!" exclaimed Twilight, "Calm down! We are only going to check things out, I heard another test subject arrived, and Princess Celestia would like us to sit in and watch the tests." Rainbow Dash, who was flying above them, yawned.
"What are these things anyway? Besides, I was in the middle of taking a nap."
"Rainbow Dash, I know how much you love naps, but Celestia herself wants us to sit in! How exciting is this!"
"Ah don't know Twi, Ah heard that the subjects seemed to have escaped into the Everfree!"
"Don't be silly Applejack! Fluttershy hasn't reported anything weird in the Everfree! Her animals are also acting normal!"
"Well... Your right I guess.... Not even Angel seemed to get nervous...."
"You see Applejack! Nothing to be worried about! Right Rarity?" Rarity, who was silent the whole time, perked up.
"Oh, um, yes, sure darling, I just hope this does not take long, my spa appointment is soon...." The six mares walked towards the new Ponyville Science Center (or PSC for short) where the guards let them in. "I just hope this subject does not escape..."
"Don't be silly Rarity! No one has reported missing subjects!"
"Yes darling, I know, but when the subject stays overnight.... They seem to... Vanish...."
"Well, maybe Celestia sends them back during the night!" Rarity and Applejack just sighed about that. Soon, the six mares reached the testing room. Where Equestria's finest scientists and some Royal Guards were in the room, looking at the bi-ped. All it wore was some trunks that had the words 'American Eagle' on them. On a table near them, was a shirt, a pair of pants, and what looked to be liked something for hooves, but oddly shaped....
"What are those things Twi?"
"I don't know Applejack..." Then, the door opened, and a scientist walked out.
"Ahhh, the elements of harmony! It is an honor to meet you all! I heard that Celestia requested you all to come in and watch, so come in." The mares and the scientists walked in. "We don't know much about this new creature, but many have seemed to vanish, but we don't know where.... There is no where to run."
"What about the Everfree?"
"Hahahaha! I think these creatures would be smarter than that, don't you think?" The mares just shrugged. "Anyway, we are about to begin testing, please stand back." The mares took some steps backwards while scientists huddled around the subject.
"How are we supposed to see?" whispered Rainbow Dash.
"Just be patient." Soon, the sun went down, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were sleeping, and the scientists came over.
"It's getting late, I think you mares should return home."
"I think your right, comon girls." The mares walked out while the scientists huddled around the subject once more.
"Shouldn't we stay?" Asked Rainbow Dash as they were heading towards Twilight's library. All the mares were staying the night. "I mean, we are the elements of harmony after all."
"Don't worry Rainbow Dash, everything will be all right."
BORDER OF THE EVERFREE FOREST
Three biped figures crouched down near the edge of the Everfree. Each of them held wooden clubs. One of the three motioned to move up slowly and they did. At any noise they heard, they ducked down behind a cart, barrels, ect... Soon, they reached the PSC and went behind where no one was looking. The leader put his hand into a fist and motioned '1... 2... 3....' On three, they ran up front, yanked the two guard's helmets off, and knocked them out cold with no one hearing a thing. He then motioned a fist flying forward, and they, as quietly as they could, opened the door and hid on the side of the walls outside. A pony, who was sitting as the front desk, trotted up, slowly. When he reached the edge, one of the three grabbed the mare, and knocked her out cold as well. They all moved in. The only noise that was made was the door closing shut. They bipeds went behind the front desk and put their bandannas down.
"My god, I never get tired of this."
"Same here!"
"Guy's, focus, the subject is going to be where it always is. However, the number of guards is going up, so this may be the last subject we can get, we got one minute, lets roll!" The three bipeds put their bandannas back over their faces and ran quietly down the hall. When they got to the room, they kicked the door open. About ten seconds later, knocked out guards and scientists lied on the ground and the bipeds walked to the subject.
Before I could scream anything, three people who looked to be my age put their hands over my mouth, one carrying my clothes.
"Shhhh... Stay quiet... We are here to get you out.."
"W-w-w-where am I?" One of them handed me my clothes.
"Worry about that later, for now, put these on and follow us!" I put my clothes on and followed them out of the building. When I walked out, it looked as if I went back in time. "We are all clear, lets start heading back.
TWILIGHT'S LIBRARY
"Twi, you need to stop worrying, we are hear to have a good time."
"I know Applejack... Maybe your right, maybe everything will be under control!"
"i won't be sure about that!!" said Pinkie jumping up and down with a smile on her face, "There are some things leaving the building now! And they are walking on two hooves!" Twilight's eyes shot open.
"Comon girls! We need to stop these things before they hurt anyone." The six mares ran out of Twilight's library and starting running towards the creatures. "HEY! STOP!" yelled Twilight.
Kyle's PoV
"HEY! STOP!" Me and the other three guys turned around.
"SHIT! WE HAVE BEEN SEEN! RUN FOR THE FOREST!" We took off running as fast as we could towards the forest. But just before we got into the forest, a Rainbow mare'd pony flew right in front of us. Before I could say anything, one of the others hit it in the head with a club. "DON'T JUST STAND THERE, COMON!" He yelled as we bolted into the forest. "DON'T STOP RUNNING!"
Twilight's PoV, 20 Seconds Ago
"Rainbow Dash, you fly faster than any of us, go up there and distract them!"
"On it Twilight!" Rainbow Dash and dropped down right in front of the creatures. Before she could do anything, one of them hit her with a club and knocked her out.
"Rainbow!" yelled the six mares. They galloped over and saw their friend. "This isn't good, I need to write a letter to Celestia!"
Kyle's PoV
We stopped running and slowed to a brisk walk. None of us spoke, and it seemed as if I was just going to die. One of the men spoke up.
"Got a name?"
"Yes.."
"What is it?"
"Kyle.." The talking ended with that. We walked for about ten more minutes. I decided to speak up. "Where are all the animals?"
"It's a long story."
"We got nothing better to do...."
"Alright fine. This place is not normal for the ponies. The animals take care for themselves, the weather is controlled on it's own, s-"
"So what? What's the big deal?"
"Shut up and listen. The ponies, from what we have seen with our supply runs and scouting trips, is that they control their own weather and must care for the animals. So everything out here is like back home on Earth. The animals just run away when they see us." The conversation ended with that. "We are almost there, I think you will be impressed with what we have done." We walked for about two more minutes, and I saw wooden walls up ahead. Walking closer, there was a sign that read 'New Jamestown.' One of the three yelled...
"We are back! Open up! We got another human with us!" A few people that also looked my age looked down from over the walls, and ordered to open the gate. The gates open, and I was stunned of what they were able to build. There were houses, a slaughter house, an armory, and even a town hall. Everything was built out of wood, and made in a lincoln log style. "This is your new home. Hey, you!" He pointed to a girl working in a garden. "Go tell everyone to meet in the town hall, we got a new human! Besides, it is meeting day, and we found something important!" The girl nodded and ran off.
"How come these people look our age?"
"When they first started to come, well, the reason you were asleep is that the ponies first brought us here awake and tied up."
"How do you know."
"I was the first." I gasped. "I was able to escape, and I ran into here, not knowing what they want with me. I kept coming back at night to see if they brought any more. When I found out they did, I began to sneak in and break them out. Soon, the ponies began to bring us in slower and slower, in fact, you were the first one we had in a month."
"How do you know what day it is?"
"By the time I had gotten five of us back here, we decided to become civilized. We decided to begin a calendar, and say that the day we made it was January 1st. We kept track ever since. We also started out with just tents made of sticks and leaves, but by the time we got about fifty of us here, we started to make more runs into the town. We came back with axes and shovels, and we started to make this beauty. Took two years, but we did it."
"Why are we here....?" He just looked at me with a frown.
"None of us know. We don't know why we are here, who brought us here, or how they brought us here. We are still trying to figure that out, but when we came to rescue you, we found some other things that might help us solve the mystery we all want to solve so very much...." I decided it was best to change the subject at that moment.
"How many people are here, and why are they our age?"
"We have about 250 people here, well, 251 now, and we don't know. How old are you?"
"Sixteen."
"Well, the youngest here is fifteen, and the oldest nineteen. So we are all in high school at the moment I guess. Any other questions?"
"Yes, what is your name?" He looked at me and smiled.
"Name's Ben, now lets go to the town hall."
Twilight's PoV
"Set Rainbow Dash down in my bed!" Applejack and Rarity nodded and carried Rainbow Dash up to her bed. "Spike!!! Get a letter ready!" Spike got the letter ready. "Dear Princess Celestia...."
Location: Canterlot Celestia's PoV
"There were creatures that walked on two hooves escape the PSC earlier tonight... We don't know what they are. I told Rainbow Dash to go up and stop them, but they knocked her out. I don't know what to do! Please send some help." Celestia let the letter down with her magic as Luna came over.
"Is there something wrong sister?"
"Send the Royal Guard to Ponyville, and arm them with the new experimental weapons."
"Why?"
"Just do it sister, I fear we may be in trouble, also, we shall bring no more of these creatures to this world. They may be civilized and determined to find out why they are here... I have a feeling they are going to try to find out.... No matter what the cost...."
Kyle's PoV New Jamestown Town Hall
Ben and I walked up to the doors of the town hall. "I still can't believe you all built this."
"Shocking, isn't it? Now lets go and get this meeting started."
The door to the town hall opened, and I saw all of the people of New Jamestown. They all looked at me, and I looked at them. It was all silent until....
"We got another!" Before I could see who said that, people surrounded me. Left and right, I was given high fives, hand shakes, hugs, and fist bumps. I felt as if this was my family. The celebration went on for about five minutes before things started to settle down.
"Alright," announced Ben, "Lets get this meeting started!" Ben went on about welcoming me, had me introduce myself, and a bunch of other welcoming crap. Then, when everyone (including me) was about to fall asleep, he announced something that I don't know why everyone got excited about. "Also on the rescue mission, along with Kyle, we found a map."
"A map?"
"How come we haven't found one before?!"
"This is great!"
"Alright! Settle down!" The people became quiet again. Ben rolled out the map and it showed the landscape. Another scout that came with us handed Ben a laser pointer that also must have gotten dragged into this world. He pointed it at a patch of green called the Everfree Forest. "I assume we are here, in the Everfree. Due to the fact that the Griffon Kingdom is north, and Appaloosa and the Land of the Buffalo is west, Equestria, which is south, must be bringing us here." People started to get excited, and I smiled. This must be the first time they had a real clue. Ben moved the pointer to Ponyville. "Due to how close the town of Ponyville is, I guess we were brought in there, but the town was to small in order to hold an entire capital. Anyone got any ideas?" A black person across the room raised his hand.
"Yes Bill?"
"Maybe if you tell us the rest of the town names, we could see which sounds like the capital."
"Good idea, lets see.... What..."
"What is it?"
"These cities...."
"Just tell us them!"
"OK... They are.... Ponyville, Manehatten, Stalliongrad, Coltumbus, Neighton, Indianeighpolis, Applewood, Fillydelphia, Cloudsdale, Baltimare, Vanhoover, Canterlot... They are ripping off all the city names!"
"Well," said some girl on the other side, "Which is the capital?" I decided to speak up.
"If the city names are ripped off from Earth, maybe so are the Capitals, so our options would be limited to Indianeighpolis, Coltumbus, and maybe Canterlot...." Bill spoke up again.
"Well, they ripped off Ohio and Indiana's capital, and that's two capitals from the same country, so maybe Canterlot is the capital."
"Not only that," said Ben, "It seems that most of the railroad systems run right through Ponyville and to Canterlot, and there is no capital building or castle in Ponyville, so I guess Canterlot is the capital of Equestria!" A loud cheer emerged. I nudged Ben.
"Why are they all excited?" I asked.
"Because," started Ben, "We have never had a clue on why we are here, but this map and knowing the capital gives us hope. Hope that there is an answer and hope that we all will go home." Soon, the cheering ended. "Alright, lets continue. Lucy," Ben pointed to a blond haired girl that looked like my age, wait, everyone here is my age, never mind, "How is the vegetable food supply?"
"It's going alright... But we need more supplies soon..."
"Alright, Chuck," Ben pointed to a taller, long haired, black guy, "How is our meat supply and the equipment in the slaughter house?"
"Meat supply low, need sharper tools soon."
"Well," I spoke up, "Lets just go to the armory, get some weapons, and take Ponyville and set up a new settlement there. Easy as that." The townspeople looked at me like I was stupid.
"Ummm, Kyle..." Ben muttered to me, "The only thing in the armory is wooden shields..."
"What?! Why do we have an armory then?!"
"Because.... Well... We had extra logs left over and we thought it would come in handy...."
"When you had no weapons?"
"Look, we were on a roll with building, meeting dismissed, lets all get back to work!" The town nodded and walked out. "Kyle," Ben said to me, "Go look around and decided what you want to do."
"What are my choices?"
"Farmer, meat house slaughter, supply gather, or builder."
"Ummmm....."
"Don't worry, um, did you do any sports back on Earth?"
"Yeah... Cross Country..."
"Great, your a supply gather with me, now go explore the town." I nodded. I just wondered who were the soldiers and guards of the town....
TWILIGHT LIBRARY
Twilight looked down at Rainbow Dash.
"Rainbow Dash... Please... Wake up soon...." Rainbow was still alive, but she had be knocked out for quite some time now. Fluttershy walked up to Twilight.
"Umm... Twilight.... Some guards are here... You should go talk to them, I will stay and look after Rainbow Dash..."
"Okay... Thanks Fluttershy." Twilight trotted downstairs and out the door as Fluttershy rubbed Rainbow Dash's mane. A royal guard came up her.
"Twilight, is everyone OK?"
"Yes, everyone is."
"Where did you see the beasts run off to?"
"They ran off to the...."
"The....?"
"The Everfree Forest!" The guards eyes shot open.
"Are they really dumb enough to do that?"
"By the way the science center was guarded, they had to be pretty smart in order to get them out."
"You got a point. Alright, thanks for the info." The guard trotted back to the other guards. Every guard was carrying a sword, spear, or a long, brown pole from what Twilight could see. She saw one lying against a wall with a guard beside it.
'These must be the new experimental weapons for the guard I heard about the last time I was in Canterlot...' thought Twilight. 'I better go see if Rainbow Dash woke up...' Twilight proceeded to trot back to her library.
Kyle's PoV New Jamestown
I only walked around for about five minutes or so. I already knew Ben, of course, I stopped and talked to the meat butchers, Chuck, Tyrone, and Steve. Tyrone was a tall, thin-built person, while Steve was a little on the larger side. Before I could walk to anywhere else, Ben came up to me.
"Kyle, you need to get some rest."
"Why? What for?"
"Scouting, tonight, you will be out for most of the night. You will need energy." Ben then proceeded to a wooden house where he opened the door and revealed homemade hammocks. "This is your new bed, have a nice nap." Ben then walked out and closed the door as I began to doze off.
Ben's PoV New Jamestown 2 Hours Before Scouting Trip
I walked out and closed the door to the small wooden house. I looked around, and everyone was still hard at work. I decided to go to the craftsmen shop, where Lee, an 18 year old Asian boy, was working on trying to make weapons for us. I knocked and walked in.
"Afternoon Lee!"
"Ahh, Ben, yes, nice to see you!"
"Nice to see you too! Now what do you have for me?"
"Well, as you know, the resources here are limited, but I was able to make this!" Lee pulled out a perfectly made bow. I admit, it was impressive.
"Wow! This is great! So where are the arrows?" Lee lost his smile.
"Arrows..?"
'Yes, arrows, the things you shoot from bows."
"Ah, well, you see.... Damn it..." I smirked.
"Alright, well, thanks for letting me see the bow. Have a nice day Lee!"
"...." I closed the door to the craftsmen shop.
"Alright... Might as well get some rest." I headed over to my cabin, crawled into my hammock, and fell asleep.
"Dark, which means time to make a scout and slash or supply run." Ben helped me out of the hammock and handed me a knife and club. "Use the knife only when you have to, but use the club if you can, we want to knock the guards out, not kill them." I nodded. "Alright, lets go." Ben opened the door, and there stood two other guys. One I knew, it was Chuck, but I did not know the other. "I believe you already know Chuck, he told me you stopped by the butcher area." The other one was Hispanic. "This other guy is Juan, he was new to the States when he got here. Also, put this on." Ben handed me a bandanna. "Don't take it off unless I tell you to, if we get caught, say we need to have it to survive." I nodded as I put it on. "Alright, lets go." Two girls stood as the gates when we arrived to the front gates. "Sabrina, Victoria, open the gates." They nodded and proceeded to open them.
"So what are we looking for agian?"
"Any more humans."
"Do we do this every night?"
"Yup, until we get caught or killed."
"Wait, wha-" I had no time to finish, the others were already running off into the woods. 'I'm going to regret taking this job...' I thought as I ran off after them.
BORDER OF EVERFREE Kyle's PoV
We crouched behind some rocks.
"So," I whispered, "what are we here for?"
"Don't know, but by the looks of things, they shut down the science center." Ben pointed to the Science building. The windows were boarded up, and guards surrounded it. "Even if there were another one of us in there, there would be no way we could get in without anyone seeing us."
"Well, good for them, bad for us, now answer my question!"
"Well, retrieving another human is off the list, so I guess we should split up. Juan, go to that barn, get some rope and see if there are any tools we could use."
"Aye!"
"Chuck, go with Juan."
"You got it."
"Kyle, come with me, we are going to see if we can find some arrows and any weapons I guess."
"Alright."
"Well, everyone, take a rock." I looked confused. "Take one, if a guard is coming your way, throw it in a different direction. They might move towards the sound of the rock." It sounded like something from Far Cry 3 to me. "Alright, lets go!"
CHUCK'S PoV
"Alright, lets go!" With that, Juan and I took off running towards a nearby barn. When we got close to it, we hid behind some trees.
"Alright," started Juan, "You go inside the barn, I will keep watch."
"Got it." We moved closer to the edge of the trees, and stopped. "Clear, lets go." Both of us took off sprinting towards the barn.
"The door is cracked, peek inside." Juan looked around while I took a peak.
"Crap." I said.
"What is it?"
"There is a big stallion in there, and it seems bigger than the guards. Give me your rock." Juan handed me his rock and I tossed it just inside the barn. The stallion looked around confused. I took my rock, and threw it at some buckets in the barn. It was a direct hit as the buckets went down with a-
CRASH
"What the hay was that?!" said the red stallion. He went towards the buckets.
"All or nothing...." I muttered. I took a deep breath and burst the door open and ran towards the stallion.
"Who the hay are y-" Before he was able to finish, I hit him in the head with my club.
"Alright, all clear, come in Juan." Juan came inside.
"Nice, just want we need." We found axes, hoes, and some apple cider for some reason.
"Alright, take the hoes and axes, and I will take as much cider as I can carry." I grabbed the hoes and axes while Juan picked up two jugs of cider. "We deserve this."
At the sound of the musket shot, we only had one choice.
"RUN!" We took off out of the barn and towards the forest.
KYLE'S PoV 5 Minutes Ago
"Alright, lets go!" Chuck and Juan ran off towards the barn, while Ben and I stayed where we are.
"So, where are we going?" Ben looked around.
"Over there," he pointed to some tents, "guards may be sleeping in there, we can go in, take some of their weapons."
"Sounds like a plan."
"But there are two ponies with ranged weapons on the roofs I think. I can't tell, but if they are standing on the roofs, then I guess they have ranged weapons. We have to take them out, there are two on two houses on opposite sides of the town, you go left, I go right." I nodded, and we went our ways. I ran to a house that had a low roof and climbed on top of it. I think jumped to increasingly bigger houses until I was on the roof behind the guard. I quietly climbed onto it. Looking across, I saw Ben knock out his guard. Just before the guard in front of me could shout anything, I knocked it out with my club.
'What's this?' I thought as I bent down. 'Holly crap, it's a musket!' I looked at the guard. It was a unicorn. 'Maybe this unicorns arm themselves with muskets....' I dropped my club and picked up the musket. I waved to Ben, who also held a musket. We jumped down and walked to a nearby building. We then heard a musket fire, and we looked around the corner. Some unicorns were practicing with them. We looked back towards the Everfree ad saw Juan and Chuck run back. I turned back to Ben.
"How the hell are these things using muskets?! They don't have fingers!" I whispered loudly.
"Unicorns have something that could lift and fire them, maybe their horns can carry them with some energy." Before we could move on, we heard a small creek, and we looked over to a window beside us. A white mare with a purple mane was opening a window to her house. She looked at us and before she could scream, Ben grabbed her by the mane, hit her head against a wall, and knocked her out cold. Then he turned to me.
"Kyle, grab those arrows and those two swords." He picked up the pony by the horn, and we headed off towards the Everfree Forest.
RARITY'S PoV Location: ?????? Time: ??????????
I woke up, I don't know what happened. 'Wait, where am I?' I looked around. It seemed to be a log cabin. But I didn't no, I was just facing a wall. Whoever kept this place though, really needed to add some color, and clean it up! The dirt! The horror! I looked down at myself, and I was sitting how Lyra usually sits. My hoofs were tied to a chair, and I could not move. I could only do one thing....
"SOMEPONY HELP ME!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I heard a door creak open. 'Finally, some help!' However, I felt my chair spin, and there stood 6 creatures. Wait, could it be th-, no, it couldn't! They just looked at me, and they all clutched swords and knives. One of them walked up.
"Your awake, and alive. Good, now answer these questions, and it may stay that way....

Kyle's PoV New Jamestown
"So, let me get this straight. We are going to interrogate this random pony, who may or may not know why we are here, and then let her go back?" Ben looked at me and smiled.
"Yup, pretty much."
"But then would they know where we are?"
"Who said they will find out?" I looked at him, confused. Before I could say anything else, Chuck and Juan came out of a building.
"The prisoner is ready Ben," said Juan, "We are ready for you now."
"Thanks Juan, Chuck, now come along." We walked into the building and saw the pony tied up into the chair.
"SOMEPONY HELP ME!" Ben looked at me.
"You know good cop bad cop?"
"Yeah.."
"Well we are doing that, but without the good cop." At that moment, Ben walked over to the chair spun it around, and looked at the mare. "Your awake, good, now answer these questions and it may stay that way." The mare gulped. "Now, lets start easy, what is your name?" The mare just looked at us. "I repeat, what it your name...?"
"R-R-R-Rarity...."
"Rarity.... Nice name... What do you do for a living?"
"I-I-I-I run a nearby fashion shop.... Carousel Boutique, where everything is-"
"Shut up! I don't care!"
"You could at least give a mare better treatment!" Chuck and Juan pulled out their swords. "Umm, nevermind.... Continue..."
"Alright.... Last question, and I'm sure it's an easy one... YOU WERE AT THE PONYVILLE SCIENCE CENTER AND LEFT RIGHT BEFORE OUR LAST SURVIVOR RUN! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU ALL WANT WITH US!!!!!????"
"Ummmmm.... How do you know it was me?"
"CAUSE YOU WERE ONE OF THE SIX GOD DAMN PONIES CHASING US WHEN WE WERE RUNNING BACK TO THE EVERFREE FOREST!!!!" The mare looked confused. Then.... Smiled..? Then started to laugh. Chuck, Juan, and I looked at each other. Ben turned around and made the signal to stay quite. Then, Ben also started t laugh, which made the three of us more confused. Soon, they were laughing so hard that their faces turned red. Then, out of no where, Ben pulled out his knife and stabbed it through the pony's arm. Rarity cried out in pain. "You know, you are a funny mare, so funny that I lost control of my arm for a few seconds." Rarity was crying her eyes out. "Now unless to want to die, you will tell us!" She got herself under control.
"I swear to Faust I don't know, but Celestia has been dragging you here....."
"Where is she at?!"
"I-I-I-I.... I WON'T SAY!" Ben stabbed her other arm.
"TELL US NOW DAMN IT!"
"CANTERLOT! SHE IS IN CANTERLOT!"
"Thank you." Chuck came from behind, hit her with a club, and knocked her out. "Chuck, Juan, go to the edge of the Everfree and throw her as far as you can."
"You got it." Chuck and Juan ran off towards Ponyville. "Alright, Kyle, tell everyone we have an emergency meeting. NOW!" I jumped back a little.
"You got it..."
TWILIGHT'S PoV Ponyville
"RARITY!!! RARITY!!! WHERE ARE YOU?!" Twilight, her friends, and a few guards have been looking all morning for Rarity. They searched everywhere.
"T-T-T-Twilight.... What if the creatures took her...."
"Don't be silly Fluttershy! There was no way they could have got in with all the guards that are he-"
"SOMEPONY HELP ME!"
"Ah be darned, that sounds like Rarity!"
"Your right Applejack, lets go!" Twilight and her friends and the three guards ran towards the source of the voice. When they got there, they found Rarity. They gasped when they saw her. "RARITY!!! WHAT HAPPENED?!?!" Rarity looked awful, she was muddy, bloody, and tired.
"Help... Me...."
"Get her to the hospital!" barked a guard. They all rushed to the hospital, except Twilight, she ran back to her library.
"SPIKE!!!!"
"AHHH! WHAT IS IT?"
"Get a letter to Princess Celestia!"
CANTERLOT CELESTIA'S PoV
'Dear Princess Celestia,
My friends, some guards, and I finally found Rarity. She claims that the creatures took her in and questioned her about everything and even stabbed her in her arms! The guards are now wanting to go into the Everfree and have Rarity lead them to the creatures outpost. I was able to convince them all to wait for your order though, so what is your order? Please give it soon, or the creatures might come for us first....

Celestia settled down the note and sighed, Luna trotted in.
"Is something wrong sister?"
"Yes, I am afraid that our creatures are going to march onto Ponyville.... They want to go home, and they will stop at nothing.... They already took in and beat Rarity! It is only a matter of time, dear sister.... Send more guards to Ponyville...."
Kyle's PoV Town Hall New Jamestown
"Quite, quite!" Ben shouted. The town hall went quite in an instant. "Now, we interrogated the pony, and found out the princess of the land has been bringing us here, and she is in Canterlot." The people chattered excitedly. "And then we sent her back." The people looked at Ben as if he was stupid. "Well, anyone have anything to say?"
"..."
"YOU FOOL!" After the 'You Fool!' people starting throwing their insults left and right. I sighed, maybe we should have killed the pony, but Ben said that would make us look like Barbarians.
"Ben," I looked at him, "the people are right. They know where we are now. I'm sorry, but the only way to get home is to fight." Ben gave me a dirty look.
"Yeah, but what if they destroy whatever brought us here if we attack?"
"You already took a pony, beat her, and stabbed her! There is no turning back now." Ben sighed.
"But what about if we die... We will never go home then! We only have 251 people to fight with, and we are going against an entire nation! Let alone whatever allies they have!" Before I could speak up, or Ben could seal the deal, some person whom I had not met shouted first.
"I WOULD RATHER GO HOME AND DIE TRYING THEN STAY IN THIS WORLD IN HIDING AND FEAR!"
"I AGREE!"
"HELL YEAH!"
"LETS DO THIS!" Before we even knew it, everyone was shooting cheers of support. Ben's angry face turned into a smile.
"Alright, I agree. Lets go home!" Everyone cheered. "Now lets get to work." Everyone got quite. "Farmers, butchers, take the food to somewhere safe, in case the ponies come and burn the town." Ben pointed to three girls. "Victoria, Rachel, Claudia, go to the pond and get some water for soup so we can have quick meals."
"You got it."
"Lee, take some people and make as many bows as you can. We were able to get 200 arrows."
"OK."
"The rest of you, find whatever weapons you can get your hands on! Knives, hoes, shovels, axes, anything!"
"Ben, what if they come?! How much time do we have?"
"I will give us twenty minutes! Lets roll!" Everyone cheered as they ran outside. Victoria, Rachel, and Claudia grabbed knives and buckets and ran towards the drinking pond. Juan and Chuck were hiding the meat supply as were the farmers. I went into a cabin and started looking for weapons. I was able to find two clubs. People were already bringing out weapons and setting them into a pile.
"We are back!" The gates open, and Claudia, Victoria, and Rachel ran back in with the water. Soon, we have two swords, fifteen clubs, ten axes, five axes cut in half so they could be used with shields (I called them mini-axes), twelve knives, seven hoes, and six bows.
"Well, fifty-seven weapons. Shit." Ben stated as they look over them. "Alright, um, who picks first?" Lee spoke up.
"Well, let the archers get their bows and then decide." Everyone agreed to that as four girls and two boys picked up bows. "Alright, now what?" I had an idea.
"Why not do Bubblegum Bubblegum in a Dish? Each job sends a representative and the first one out has their job pick last. This goes on until we have an order." Everyone, again, as if this was a perfect world, liked the idea. So the designers, builders, farmers, butchers, Lee (the only Craftsman), and scouts sent a representative. We sent Juan for the scouts.
About ten minutes later and everyone wanting to kill themselves from the terrible chant you say when you play bubble gu-, you know what it's called, the game finally ended. The order in which we would pick was decided.
"Alright," Ben announced, "Have at it!" I walked towards the pile and looked at my choices. I picked up a wooden shield, then a sword. I felt so bad-ass, like one of those Spartans from the 300 only I had clothes yet no head armor. Ben also picked up the second and final sword, and we lifted our heads in victory as everyone gave us dirty looks. Everyone wanted those swords. Juan got himself a mini-ax and a shield, as did Chuck. We walked out of the way, as the builders went and picked up their weapons of choice. Holy crap, there were a lot of builders. By the time they were done, there were no more mini-axes, about 3 axes left, 4 clubs, 3 knives, and 5 hoes. The farmers went and picked their weapons, and there were no more knives or axes. The butchers took the rest of the weapons. Once that was done, Ben had more to say.
"Alright, we will give them till dawn, if they don't attack by then, then we will attack! And we will find a way home!" Everyone cheered loudly. "Now, farmers, go make some soup with the water, so we can have a quick meal and then we will fall asleep, scouts and three archers, you will join me on night watch, now lets move!" Everyone headed to their cabin, and were also given orders to keep their weapons near them. Lee walked up to Ben.
"Ben, my friend, what about those who don't have weapons?"
"Get the designers over here." Lee ran off, and a few moments later, came back with the designers. "Alright, whenever you see a dead pony, pick up their weapon, unless it is a musket, then join the fight. Until then, stay behind cover in the forest." A designer whom I had not yet met spoke up.
"You said muskets?! These guys have guns?!"
"I said muskets, but I don't know if they used rifling, so they may be inaccurate anyways. Now go to your cabins." They nodded and ran off. I yawned and walked outside the gate, sitting down up against the wooden fort. I sat for about fifteen minutes when one of the archers brought me some soup, I ate it, and they took my shift so I could get some rest. As I closed my eyes, I began to think about where we would end up if we found our way back home. Would we all land at the same spot, or would we all end up back at our own homes? Only time will tell....
Location: Ponyville Third Person PoV
As Normal Norman and Night Thrust, two guards in the royal guard, finished their shift of patrolling the town and headed to Sugarcube Corner for a treat, Normal looked to Night.
"So Night, did you hear we are given the order to attack the human fort?"
"Humans? That's what their called. Nice to know."
"Really? I just told you we are going to attack, maybe even die, and all you can say it's good to know they are called humans?!"
"Yup."
"..... Well, we are to get up at dawn, and be ready to attack at noon."
"That's it?"
"Well, yeah...."
"Dang, make it more interesting next time." They laughed as they walked in.
Kyle's PoV Midnight New Jamestown
I yawned as I opened my eyes. Damn, that soup was salty. I needed a drink. I picked up my sword and shield and walked to the pond outside. I waved to the two boys guarding as I walked out. About 15 seconds later, I arrived at the pond. Ben told me it was the bath pond as well, but I knew he was kidding.
30 minutes ago Chuck's PoV
"Hum de dum dum, scrub a-dub-dub, in the pond...."
Present Kyle's PoV
I bent down to get a drink, I cupped my hands, filled them with water, and drank. My god, this water was good! Before I could get more, I looked down and saw a bunny. I smiled.
"Hey there little buddy, wanted some water?" I filled my hands with water, and the damn thing bit me! Why the hell did it bite me! Before I could scold it.....
"Angel!" I heard a quite voice come out of the bushes. I turned, and saw a yellow pony with a pink mane stare at me.
Before she could say anything, I picked up my sword and pointed it at her.
"Your coming with me...."
Twilight's PoV 11:55 P.M.
"Thanks agian for having me over Twilight.... I was just so scared being in the Everfree with those beasts near me...."
"Anytime Fluttershy, I would be scared too! Would you like anything to drink?"
"Umm... Some tea... If you don't mind...."
"Not at all, coming right up!" As Twilight trotted into her kitchen, Fluttershy looked down at Angel.
"Oh dear, I hope the other animals are alright.... What do you think angel..?" Angel puffed. Fluttershy looked forward. "I'm just worried that those beasts will take them and... Who knows what they would do to them. What if they-..." As Fluttershy began to ramble on and on, Angel looked toward the door, and began to hope to it. Angel then looked back, and started hoping toward the Everfree. "-And after they chop their legs off, then they mi-" Fluttershy stopped ranting and looked to see Angel no longer by her side. "Angel?!?! Where did you go?!" Fluttershy trotted over to the window, only to see Angel heading towards the Everfree Forest. "ANGEL!!!!" Fluttershy galloped out the door and also headed toward the Everfree Forest. Meanwhile, Twilight walked out with tea, only to see Fluttershy gone.
"Huh, guess she got brave enough to head home. Good for her!" said Twilight as she served herself some tea and drank it.
Present Kyle's PoV
"Eep!"
"I said... Your coming with me..." The pony looked at the bunny and tears formed into her eyes.
"Please don't kill angel...."
"Come with me, and the bunny won't die...." The pony started to cry and trotted over. "If you do anything funny.... I will slit your throat...."
'Damn!' I thought to myself, 'I feel like a bad-ass! More bad-ass then when I used a pen on my math homework!' When I got back to the fort, the two guards saw the pony and was about to attack her when I told them to stop. I walked in with the pony and shook Ben awake.
"Kyle? What are you doi- Is that a pony?! In our base?! Is she a spy?!?!" Ben yelled out. The pony let out another 'Eep!' By this time, the whole town was awake and coming out. The pony gained the nerve to speak.
Kyle's PoV New Jamestown 12:05 A.M. 4 Hours, 55 Minutes Till Dawn
"Just a bunch of humans wanting to go home..." The pony looked at us confused.
"What? Isn't this your home?"
"No, this is not our home.... Your race has been dragging us here... Away from family and friends.... We have been here for awhile, and your kind is hunting us down. We were about to go and begin our quest to go home, but then you came... So what should we do with you..." The pony eyes grew in fear, tears started to form.
"Please! Don't hurt me!" She cried, "I did not know you bea- humans were out here! I promise I won't tell anyone!! Please, have mercy!!!" Ben looked at her, then he perked up, as if he had an idea. He told me and the others that were on guard duty to stand down, then said.
"Ok, we won't, as long as you don't tell anyone we are here, then you may go."
"I'M BEGGING Y-wait, what?"
"Yes, you may go."
"B-b-b-b-but..."
"No buts, you may go." Fluttershy's tears grew dry, and she slowly backed out. When she walked through the gates of the fort, she began to run back to Ponyville." I walked over to Ben.
"Ben, why did we let her go?" Ben sighed.
"That was our last chance at showing we are not barbarians...."
3rd Person PoV: Ponyville: 4 Hours Till Dawn
Twilight was crawling into bed, and it was a heck of a day. It was about 1 in the morning, so she was only going to get about four hours of sleep, but something was better than nothing, right? Right as she puller her covers up and closed her eyes....
"Oh, you have got to be kidding me!!" Twilight shouted. She crawled out of bed, and walked to the door. When she opened it, she saw Fluttershy. "Fluttershy, what are you doing here? I thought you went home!"
"Well, um, Twilight, Angel kinda ran into the Everfree and I went after him and..."
"Andddd.... What?"
"I met the creatures, humans I believe." Fluttershy was beginning to look more scared. As for Twilight, her face grew with fury.
"That is it! I am going go to talk to the guard! Two friends taken in is two too many!"
"Twilight! Wait!"
"What is it Fluttershy?"
"Well, all they want is to go home, and we pretty much ripped them from their home, should we just let them go back?"
"But they took in Rarity and stabbed her! What justifies for that?!"
"But what justifies for taking someone from their home?"
"Well, um, two friends too many!" And with that, Twilight ran off towards the guard camp. Meanwhile, Fluttershy sighed in defeat, and was in a pickle.
'I should go warn the humans.... But then I would betraying my own country, but they are innocent, event though they attacked Rarity... Right...?' Fluttershy sighed as she trotted into Twilight's house.
Kyle's PoV 2 Hours, 30 Minutes till Dawn New Jamestown
By this time, the pony was long gone, I took up my shift as guard with Ben, and everyone else was asleep. I looked over at Ben.
"Ben, if we get home, what do we do? What if we end up in some random place? Then what do we do?" Ben just stared at me, then spoke up.
"I don't know, but all I know is, right know, anywhere on Earth, America, North Korea, South Korea, China, Japan, France, Germany, Syria, anywhere, anywhere on Earth, on our home planet, where we are not wanted, would be home to me." I looked away, thinking about what he just said, when we heard trotting. We drew got into a defensive position when we saw
"Fluttershy?" The same yellow pony with a pink mane trotted up to us. "Didn't we send you away?" By now, tears were streaming down her face. "
"I'M SO SORRY! I TRIED TO STOP HER!!"
"Who?"
"MY FRIEND, TWILIGHT! SHE DIDN'T BELIEVE ME!!" By this time, everyone was awake and coming out. "SHE WOULDN'T BELIEVE ME, AND TOLD THE GUARD, AND NOW THEY ARE RALLY FOR AN ATTACK!" By this time, it was hard to even understand what Fluttershy was saying. She was crying that hard. Ben bent down in-front of her.
"Fluttershy," he said calmly, "where do you live?" She calmed down a little.
"N-n-n-not to far f-f-f-from here...." Ben looked at us, then back to Fluttershy.
"Go home, and don't leave, don't leave until we tell you can come out, trust me, trust us, you do not want to see what is going to happen...." She gulped and started to trot of, but turned around.
"Ummmm... What are you going to do?" Ben stared at her.
"We are going home, and you should go home too." And with that, she galloped off to her home. Ben turned and looked at us. "Well don't just stand there, their damn military is coming, prepare for the start of this journey, NOW!" With that, it was chaos. Archers getting their bows ready, gatekeepers closing the gates, everyone scrambling for their weapons. I must admit, it was quite a rush. Within a few minutes, everyone was ready. Ready to go home, or die trying....
10 Minutes Later
10 minutes went by, and still no ponies trying to attack us. We were all huddled up at the back of the fort, while the archers were on top of the town hall. Another five minutes went by, and Lee spoke up.
"Maybe that yellow pony lied to us..." Just has he said that, we heard something in the distance....
"A good supply of meat for the next few months...." He got into an defensive stance. We all looked at him, some confused, some terrified. Yet slowly, everyone, go into a battle position. We saw the gates glow, then fall, then, there they were. The Equestrian, what I think to be, military. Armed with musktes, swords, and spears. Wearing, gold armor...? Comon, at least make GOOD armor if your going to have a medieval style troops, make them into coins, if that makes 'cents.' Heh heh heh....
One pony trotted between us and the ponies while the ponies armed with muskets lined up in front of the pony army.
"By the order of Princess Celestia, you are to drop your weapons and surrender, or we will use force!" As soon as he finished, one of the archers fire, hitting the pony right in the throat. The ponies stared at who was leading them, now dead, blooding flowing out of the ponies neck like a river. It was a good ten seconds until Ben called out....
"CHARGE!!!!!" We all yelled and began to charge, and I was right in the front, along with Ben and some other Hispanic guy, leading the charge. The ponies began to fire their muskets, and one round hit the Hispanic square in the forehead, spraying blood everywhere and killing him instantly. It was clear the ponies did not use rifling in their muskets, as one who I was charging at shot at me and missed, but some, were not so lucky. I looked left and right and saw some others who I have not yet met getting shot and dead or dying. We were getting closer, closer, I raised my sword and began charging at a musket pony. I could see it's eyes widen as I brought my sword down into it's neck, killing it. The clashing of swords filled the air, archers firing into the ponies. I looked around, and saw the other humans who did not get weapons due to the short supply run around and try to either snatch weapons from ponies. Ben was busy dueling a pony, while Chuck used his strength to easily snap a pony's neck. I looked forward and saw a pony thrust his spear at me. I jumped out of the way and stabbed it's side, assuming it would be left to die.
"KEEP PUSHING LADS! WE ARE WINNING THIS FIGHT!!!"

I kept my eyes closed, I could tell by the footsteps that I was being held captive, and that they intended me to be knocked out or something.
"Alright, the subject is here, I'm glad Celestia let the testing resume on these, 'human teens.'"
'Human teens? Oh god, this was on the news! About teens going missing! I guess I was brought here....'
"Sir! The guards have launched an assault on the human fort, we are going to go assist."
"Alright, stay safe lads."
"Will do, how dangerous can these things be, their just mutated apes." This was followed by some chuckles.
'Alright, I will make my escape when the guards leave...' I heard a door open, and then shut. Then footsteps coming towards me.
"Alright, lets get this st-" Before he could finish, I opened my eyes, and they stared in shock. I started back and then said,
"Hi!" I grabbed their necks and banged their heads together, knocking them out. I wiped my hands on my pants, wait, where are my pants? I looked down and saw my underwear on. Then looked at the two, ponies? "Huh, guess these are ponies...." I looked over and saw my backpack, at least I'm missing school today, or for at least awhile.... I opened it up. Chromebook, check, history book, check, homework that I didn't do.... I tore the homework in half and stuffed it into the knocked out ponies mouth. Pony ate my homework, check, alright, everything's here.... I looked and saw my clothes next to it, jeans, tennis shoes, track and field shirt, yup, everything is here... I put on my clothes and also saw my phone still in my pocket, with no service. Damn. I was about to walk out when...
'Wait, did they say hunt down the humans? Oh man, they mean me! I better at least find something to defend myself...' I looked around and saw extra sharp scissors. 'Why the hell do ponies have scissors! They don't have hands! Oh well, somethings better than nothing...' I picked up the scissors and walked out into the hall way, no one was their. 'This seems too easy....' I walked down the hall and opened the door, revealing a small town. 'Well, here I go, I better go find the other humans....'
Kyle's PoV:
By this time, we killed most of the pony army, but we still are getting killed. At least 50 fellow humans have died by now, but we stood our ground. By now, all the humans were holding a weapon and fighting, at least, if they were not alive. I dodged a pony spear thrust and stabbed the pony in the eye. The pony screamed in pain as it's eye was pouring out blood. Soon, the pony army became smaller and smaller, and then finally.
"RETREAT!" The ponies began to retreat.
"AFTER THEM!" We began to chase the ponies down, and picked up whatever weapons they dropped. Soon, we chased them to Ponyville, where they stopped dead in their tracks. I guess they did not want to have the civilians witness the fight, who could blame them? Anyway, one by one, the ponies dropped their weapons. They turned around, and said the words that we would have never thought we would here.
"We surrender...." I could tell by the looks of the guards faces that they were embarrassed, and damn, that made me so happy. But when the guards began to sit down on the ground, I saw a human like figure.....
"Ben, who is that?"
"I don't know...." The human like figure began to walk towards us, when it reached right in front of us, Ben smiled. "TWO FOR ONE LADS, WE GOT ANOTHER HUMAN, AND THE TOWN IS OURS!!!" Everyone, who was human, cheered. by now, ponies were walking out of their houses, seeing what was going on, and looks of terror took over their faces. Ben turned to the human. "What's your name lad?"
"S-S-S-Soren..."
"Soren.... Cool name, well, welcome to the human army." Ben said as he grabbed a spear and thrust it into his hands. "Now," Ben said, turning his attention to the guards, "I understand that there is a Fluttershy and a Twilight Sparkle in this town, who seem to have some importance, yes?" One of the guards spoke.
"Y-y-yes.... They are they elements of harmony.... They wield most powerful magic in all of Equestria when they have the elements... There are six all together......."
"So where are they now?"
"They are going to Canterlot..... For a wedding....."
"A wedding, for who?"
"Shining Armor, captain of the Royal Guard, and Princess Mi Amore Cadenza...."
"The captain of the guard and a princess you say..... Hmmm....." Ben turned to us. "Make sure no one enters this town, and no one leaves! I am going to tour our new town, and see this, 'railroad' that runs through this town."
"Then what?"
"Who's ready to crash a wedding?" Ben said with a smile.
Everyone, every human was busy. Some were forcing the guards to teach them how to reload muskets, some were burying the 37 that died in battle, some where getting treated from the nurse in Ponyville (against her will, of course), some were eating, some were sleeping, some were touring the town, and Ben was talking with the mayor of the town, Mayor Mare. I was showing Soren around, and he was pretty impressed with everything we did. From all the times Ben and the other scouts took us from the Ponyville Science Center, to when they built the fort, which I did not know much about due to me not arriving yet, to the first battle of us getting up. Then he asked me some questions about myself.
"So Kyle, what are you going to do when you get home?" I paused. I started thinking about my family, and the others families, I wonder what they were doing. Police are probably everywhere trying to find us! I looked down at the ground, then looked at Soren.
"I'm going to praise to the lord that I am finally home."
"But what if you don't end up at your house?"
"Trust me Soren, I have been here for a few days, and I hate it here, some have been here for years. Trust me, you will find out quickly, how lucky we are to live where you are not being chased by people that dragged you into another world, you will find out that Earth is your true home." Soren just looked at me, confused as Ben walked up to us.
"Alright, we are letting the town know that we call the shots in the town now, I will be giving a speech, and we will finish by taking down the Equestrian flag at the end. Kyle, Soren, you and the other scouts will be up at the town hall with me, the others will act as guards, so get armed and be ready for anything. You got it?"
"Aye."
"Yeah." Ben walked off and went to let everyone know. "So now what?" I picked up a spear that was lying on the ground and threw it into Soren's arms.
"Be ready for anything."
One Hour Later Kyle's PoV Ponyville Town Hall
Me and the other scouts stood at attention as Ben walked up onto the town hall stage. All of the town was there, except for the Element of Harmony that guard told us about.... Ben cleared his throat and began to speak.
"Citizens of Ponyville!" Ben paused and looked at me and the other scouts. It was obvious that he did not make up a speech. All of us shrugged. "Umm, well, we are humans. We mean no harm!"
"You butchered most of our guard!" Yelled a random pony in the crowd.
"Well, yes, we did, but for good reason! Your kind has been dragging us to this world! We do not wish to stay! We wish to go home! So in that case, go among your normal lives." The crowd gave us confused looks. "And send the guard back to their homes, they are not needed, we will provide protection!" A stallion trotted up to the front of the crowd.
"Why are you being so... Generous...?" Ben sighed.
"This is your home. This world is your home. Have you not noticed we have no killed any of your guard until they marched into our temporary home and tried to kill us? We do not wish to fight, but if it is what we must do to get home, then it is what we will do. Now go on, enjoy yourselves." The ponies gave us confused looks and left slowly, one by one. Leaving one pony just staring at us, then leaving without a word. "Well, that went better than expected."
"No kidding, and your speech sucked ass too!"
"Well, sorry for not giving an presidential speech and every other word being 'UHHHHHH'"
"It's fine lad, lets just come up with a plan for the next phase of getting home."
10 MINUTES LATER:
Soren, Lee and I decided to skip musket training (due to us not wanting muskets) and went to the library instead. We told Ben maybe we could learn even more about the land. We read for bout 25 minutes and could come up with nothing, unicorns use magic, Pegasus ponies fly, and Earth ponies are extra strong, and alicorns has all three traits combined. No shit, I thought the unicorns fly to some cloud city named Cloudsdale. Anyway, after all that reading, we decided to give up and head back outside. When we left the library, we saw everyone gathering around a stage, with Ben on top of it. We ran over just as Ben began to speak.
"Alright, listen up. The wedding turns out to be tomorrow, that guard bastard lied to us. Which means we won't have much time to make this work. Now, we don't know what else will be protecting the city other than guards, what I do know is we can no longer use stealth, they know we are here, and they know our numbers have been cut down. They can replace their troops, we can't. Ever human lost means less of a chance to get home. One fighter can make all the difference."
"Whats the plan?"
"Alright, as you know, most railroads run through the train station here. All we need to do is get onto one and ride it to Canterlot."
"Bullshit Ben, can' t be that simple."
"Your right, it isn't. Apparently, that guard also said that Shining has a force field surrounding the whole damn city. The only way in is to break it. But if we even crack it, he will know we are there."
"So how do we get in?"
"Alright, it will take everyone help. But we have to break a hole into it. We are going to go around town and get as many pick-axes and shit and get the next train tomorrow. I know you guys are tired. I know you guys missed your loved ones. But this, this is it. We must gather ourselves. Dig deep. Be ready. One final battle. We will not retreat. We will go home tomorrow, or die trying. We will do this. They are fighting to prevent us from going to the place we love most. We are fighting to go back to the place we love most. Tomorrow, WE, ARE GOING HOME!" A loud cheer erupted from us. When the cheering settled, everyone was so pumped up. They started to party, but I looked over and saw Soren sitting alone. I walked up to him.
"Hey Soren, whats up?"
"I was just wondering, how long have you guys been here? A year?" I laughed. I threw a spear into his arms, and I picked up my sword and shield.
"Come, I want to show you something."
New Jamestown 6 Hours till Departure to Canterlot Kyle's PoV
"Almost there, keep up, will ya?"
"Sorry."
"It's fine." I tore some bushes apart. "And here we are!" Soren gasped when he saw New Jamestown.
"Is this New Jamestown?"
"Yup, I have only been here for a few days, Ben was the first one here, and he has been here for, umm, I don't remember, but more than 4 years."
"So, what is the whole story again?"
"Heh, don't feel like telling it, maybe I will put it into a story some other time." Before I could go on, I saw out of the corner of my eye Lee walk in. "Hey Lee! Why aren't you at the party?"
"I never really was a party sort of person. I always like to stay home and alone. However, when I ended up here, I knew the only way home was to at least socialize. So I got my stuff together and started to become more social."
"I see, so, what do you think of the plan?"
"Ehh, it's good. However, what scares me is that we do not have a plan B...."
"What do you mean?"
"Remember the elements of harmony?"
"Aye."
"Well, I did some reading, and I found out that they are the most powerful things in all of Equestria."
"What do you mean?"
"Anytime there is a threat to Equestria and the guard doesn't take care of it, they use the elements. Discord, Sombra, Nightmare Moon, all tried to take over, and all got defeated by the elements."
"Well, great, we are all screwed. How can we.... Avoid these?"
"Well, the way I see it, if one of the elements is eliminated, then the rest won't activate. Maybe if one of them decides to join us, then maybe we have a better shot at getting home." I thought about it. Sure, it sounded good, but who would join us? Then, I remembered one pony who felt sorrow for us.
"What if that yellow pony, umm, whats her name?" Lee looked up.
"You mean Fluttershy?"
"Yes, Fluttershy. What if she helped us?"
"I don't know, she is still protecting her homeland..."
"But she showed sorrow when she found out we were being dragged home." Lee just looked at me then sighed.
"We are going tomorrow, we will tell Ben about everything first thing tomorrow." Soren and I agreed and we walked backed to Ponyville.
THE NEXT MORNING 5:47 A.M. Departure: 12:00 P.M.
There were multiple campfires in Ponyville. We were cooking our breakfast. I was sitting with Chuck, Lee, Juan, Soren, and Ben. We were able to find some eggs, and the Sugarcube Corner had ham for some reason.... As we ate, we began to speak.
"So guys," started Ben, "Today is the day. We are finally going to go home."
"Yeah," interrupted Chuck, "Or just die or we surrender and get tortured!"
"Man, the hell is wrong with you?! All this time, just to surrender? Man, that's the LAST thing we will do!"
"So what if-"
"No ifs! We are in this till the end!" We continued to eat. I started to start a conversation.
"So guys, what about the elements of harmony? They are going to be there, right?"
"Well, um, yeah.."
"And must we remember that we are dealing with a wedding? Hell, it is the captain of the royal guard and a damn princess!! We can't just go in blindly without knowing the city, we must send a scout, we can only send one, or else we risk getting caught!"
"We can't! They know we are here that we are going to strike! We got no other choice, we must attack today, or else, we are all doomed..." I looked at Ben and sighed. He was our leader, and he led the others for years, I couldn't doubt him, and not at a time like this. I nodded at him and began to walk away. Today was the day, we will go home...
11:50 A.M. 10 Minutes Till Departure Kyle's PoV
I stood by Ben with the other scouts. Nothing much happened this morning. Everyone knew they might die, everyone was quite, everyone was scared, everyone was determined, everyone wanted to go home. We knew that this was not going to be easy. We knew some might die, but some might live, but in the end, we hope it will all be worth it. We all gathered around the town hall, just us, humans, ponies walking by as if we were not even there, Ben began to speak.
"My friends, today is the day. We waited so long for this. We wanted this for so long, and today, we may finally get it. We will take the next train to Canterlot, but spare the conductor so he may drive us to Canterlot. Once there, we will charge into the city and find their capital building. We will charge into it when we find it, and we will not stop. No matter how many of us fall, we will still charge. If only one makes it out alive, then so be it, you are home. If all of us survive, so be it, we are all home, if all of us die, so be it, we went down fighting to get home. Remember, we waited so long for this. I know you are tired of hearing this by now, but we worked so long to get home, New Jamestown is not our home, this town is not our home, this world is not our home, EARTH is our home, and today, WE, WILL, GO, HOME!!!" A loud cheer erupted from us. "Come now! To the train station! For our home!" We all began to run to the train station, weapons in our hands. When we got there, the train was about to depart until...
"STOP THAT TRAIN!" Some of us fired our muskets into the air. "EVERYONE OUT OF THE TRAIN, NOW!" Ponies screamed as they ran away from the train station. "YOU THERE, ARE YOU THE CONDUCTOR!?" The stallion gulped and nodded. "IN THE TRAIN, AND TAKE ALL OF US TO CANTERLOT!" He nodded, gulped, and yelled...
"ALL ABOARD!" All of us pilled into the train. We all sat down in the seats, some stood in the middle, some had their muskets out of the window, some with tears of fear, others with eyes of fury. And as the train took off, we all knew, we are going home.
12:01 P.M. Train to Canterlot Kyle's PoV 30 Minutes till Arrival
We all sat in the train. No one spoke. I gripped my sword and shield. Ben walked to the front.
"All right listen up! We are going to arrive in 30 minutes. When we get there, musket men, pick off any guards you see. When you each fire a shot, everyone charge out of the train. Based on what the time period towns look like at Ponyville, I assume they would have a castle. When we find the castle, charge in and find the Princess."
"What do they look like?"
"Based on the guards, they have both wings and a horn. They are very powerful, and are nearly impossible to kill."
"What about the elements?"
"The only two we know by physical appearance is Fluttershy and Rarity. Other than that, I don't know. So as of right now, just capture those two, but take it easy on Fluttershy, at least she stood up for us... Any other questions?" We all nodded no. "Alright, well, only one thing left to say.... Good luck to you all, we will need it..."
10 Minutes Till Arrival Kyle's PoV
"Kyle?" I looked down at Soren.
"Aye?"
"What happens if we lose?" I sighed, seeing the fear in his eyes, I knew what would happen.
"We won't lose..."
5 Minutes Till Arrival Kyle's PoV
I looked out the window, seeing a giant purple barrier, knowing that was the city. Ben was walking up and down the middle of the train. He was talking to as many people as he could. He reached me.
"Kyle, it was an honor to have a scout like you join us. I wish you well when we get home, and I hope God rewards you well in the afterlife if you fall in combat." I smiled.
"I wish the same to you as well." He continued walking down the middle as I looked out the window, seeing the barrier come closer and closer.
2 Minutes Till Arrival Kyle's PoV
"Alright listen up!" I looked up at Ben. "We are about two minutes till we arrive! Remember, these guards are better trained then we are, so keep your head up and your eyes on that castle up there!" We looked up and saw the castle and nodded. "Alright, that is all, may God help us all..."
30 Seconds till Arrival Kyle's PoV
"Get down!" We all got down under the windows as the train passed threw the barrier. Apparently, a guard checkpoint was there. But hey, we passed through the barrier, so there is a win for us, right? "Fifteen seconds till we arrive!" I gripped my sword harder, knowing I am about to use it. Today is the day, we will finally go home... "Stay down everyone!" The doors open, and none of us got out. I peeked out the window and saw guards coming towards our train. Ben stood up.
"MUSKET MEN, FIRE!" The crack of muskets filled the air as the musket men took down the guards coming at our train. Cries of panic filled the air from civilians as more guards came rushing. "EVERYONE, CHARGE!!!!" All of us pilled out of the train, charging the guards head on. I lunged my sword at a guard, sending the blade through his neck, killing him instantly.
"Ben! How many damn guards are there?!"
"Whole lot more than I thought!" He shouted as he was dueling a guard. "Just keep fighting! We waited so long for this!" I looked over at Chuck as he threw a guard through a window with ease, and as he snapped the neck of another. I looked over and stabbed a guard to my right, and kicked one to my left. Musket men were picking off guards on balcony's.
"Do not kill any civilians!" Ben shouted. Many other fellow humans also shouted it to make sure everyone could hear the order given by Ben. I pony charged up to my left and I began to duel with him. I dodged a lunge by the pony, and then stabbed him in the stomach. I looked down at him until I heard someone shout my name.
"Kyle! Watch out!" I saw a spear fly passed me and hit a guard right in the eye. I turned around and saw Soren retrieve the spear.
"Nice shot kid!" I said as I stabbed another guard.
"Than-" Before he could finish, a bright bolt struck him in the face, knocking him down. I looked at Soren lying dead, his face burned, and no pulse.
"Soren! NO!" A musket man walked over top of his body and shot the unicorn that killed him.
"Yes, he is dead, but we got to keep moving up!" The musket man told me. I knew that Soren was to young to die, He was only 15... I think... But I had to forget about it. I looked behind us and gasped.
"WE GOT MORE COMING BEHIND US!"
"WHERE THE HELL DID THEY COME FROM?"
"NO DAMN IDEA, JUST TRY TO FIGHT THEM OFF!" Our casualties were going up quick.
"RETREAT!" The fight only lasted a few minutes, and we already had to retreat, but where? We all just ran and hid where ever we could. I ducked inside a house with Ben and a few others. Many of the humans ducked in houses right beside each other. The guard was hot on our heels, and we knew this was a losing fight.
"Ben, what are we going to do?"
"I don't know, I just wonder where the guard is, they should be storming our house now..." Ben took the nerve to peek out the window, and he gasped when he did.
"Hey guys, check it out!" We all ran to a window and saw black mutated mouse rat whatever like creatures break down the barrier.
"What the hell are those?!"
"Are they friend or foe!" As soon as someone asked friend of foe, they broke down the barrier and started shooting green stuff from their horns. When the stuff hit the guards, they became stuck where they were. We all cheered loudly as one landed next to our house.
"Greetings, we heard you were going to attack around the same time we were..."
"How did you know? Ben asked.
FLASHBACK NIGHT OF BEN'S SPEECH 3RD PERSON PoV
"This is your home. This world is your home. Have you not noticed we have no killed any of your guard until they marched into our temporary home and tried to kill us? We do not wish to fight, but if it is what we must do to get home, then it is what we will do. Now go on, enjoy yourselves." The ponies gave the scouts confused looks and left slowly, one by one. Leaving one pony just staring at the scouts, then leaving without a word. "Well, that went better than expected."
"No kidding, and your speech sucked ass too!"
"Well, sorry for not giving an presidential speech and every other word being 'UHHHHHH'"
"It's fine lad, lets just come up with a plan for the next phase of getting home." Meanwhile, that one pony began that was the last to leave began to run towards the borders or Ponyville. Spreading his wings, he took off, and when he was far enough from the crowd, a green flamed engulfed the pony revealing its true form...
PRESENT DAY KYLE'S PoV
"So you were that one pony?!"
"No, some other one was, by the way, we are called Changelings, able to morph into anypony, griffon, and any animal on this planet. But for some reason, we are not able to morph into the shapes of you creatures..."
"Well, we got more important stuff to focus on right now, comon!" Ben and I ran to the houses, pulling out other humans and telling them not to attack black creatures with Swiss cheese legs (due to them not knowing what the Changelings were really called). We continued our fight through the city.
"There is the castle! Lets go!" As the changelings continued to fight the guard, all the humans ran into the castle where we saw a winged horn pony. An alicorn as I read. This one was purple, and had a moon on her butt. She began to speak, and damn...
"HOW DARE THEE ATTACK THY CITY AND BUTCHER MOST OF OUR GUARD, ALL OF THEE SHALL PAY THE PRICE!!!!!!" Her eyes were filled with fury, and she began to light up her horn. A black dude with dreadlocks whom I have never seen or met before budged his way to the front and began to charge at her. He swung his ax at the pony, which the alicorn dodged easily. He tried to lift up for another strike, but an energy bolt from the ponies horn hit him right in the stomach, sending him flying back into a nearby wall. There he laid, motionless. Dead.
"SURRENDER OR END UP LIKE YOUR FELLOW HUMAN!" Wait, how did she know what we were called? I looked at Ben, and he had the same thought too until he muttered...
"She is the one that brought us here....." His eyes filled with fury as he charged her, sword raised, yelling. He swung with all his mite, but the alicorn dodged, lunging her horn threw his stomach.
"BEN! NO!" I shouted. Right after I said that, one of the archers ran to her right flank (An angle of her, not the right side of her ass) and fired an arrow, hitting the alicorn right in the throat. The alicorn fell down, and I ran up, with the sword raised.
"THIS IS FOR BEN!" I shouted. I jumped up and landed, pushing my sword into the princess's side. I stabbed her in the throat. "AND THIS IS FOR SOREN!" Tears fell down my eyes. My two closest friends, dead. I looked at Ben. He lied there, no moving. The one more determined then anyone here to make it home. We all gathered around him. Heads down, in respect for the one who planned this, the one that drove us, motivated us, the one who wanted us to her home. Then it hit us, all of us, a new flame inside of us. More determination. Our wounds no longer painful, our hearts racing faster than ever before. I reached into my pocket and pulled out the bandanna Ben gave me. I put it on. I looked at the grand staircase and saw guards lining up, aiming their muskets.
"TAKE AIM!" One of them yelled. There was one thing left to do....
"CHARGE!!!!!" We all charged up the stairs as they fired their muskets. We began to drop like flies, but that was not going to stop us. As the guards began to reload their muskets, we reached the top and engaged in hand to hand combat. I lunged my sword into the throat of a guard, killing him instantly.
"KEEP PUSHING FORWARD, WE MUST FIND WHERE THEY BROUGHT US HERE!"
"MAYBE IF YOU DIDN'T KILL THAT FUCKING PRINCESS WE WOULD KNOW!" Damn, he did have a point. But something seemed off... There was another... Taller... More powerful.... The head honcho... She had a sun on her ass.... That meant that she was still out there. But how would we get to her.... We only had about 40 of us left.... We could not hold on for much longer. Suddenly, a pink light flashed. I ran to a window, and saw the Changelings being blasted away.
"Oh shit..." I looked back, and saw the guards were distracted as well, as they too were looking out the windows. I looked ahead, and saw a hallway, with big doors at the end, and saw guards running towards it, with unicorns holding hammers with their magic. Bingo!
"FOLLOW ME EVERYONE!" I yelled, and we all took off sprinting after the guards. "We gotta hurry!" I yelled. Meanwhile, the guards saw us run off, and started to fire muskets at us. I looked behind us, seeing how many of us were left. There was about 24. It was hard to believe that we had over 200 back at New Jamestown... We continued to run down the hall, slowly catching up to the guards. Finally the guards reached the end and began to open the doors. There revealed a mirror, and they began to raise their hammers.
"NO!" I shouted. As I did. The two remaining archers we had took aim and fired, hoping that the arrows would hit. One arrow hit a guard in the neck, the other in the leg. The one fell down, dead, the other lying on the ground, weak. We ran into the room, and closed the door.
"PUT OBJECTS IN FRONT OF THE DOOR, MAKE SURE THEY DO NOT GET IN!" We all moved and thing we could find. Shelves, chairs, anything! In a matter of 30 seconds, the door was blocked. We all took a sigh of relieve. We turned around, and looked at the mirror. The sign above said 'PORTAL TO EARTH.' We just stared at the sign. Chuck spoke up.
"All this fighting for a damn mirror! That even SAYS portal to Earth! What kind of portal is that?! And how did they know it would lead to Earth!"
"Who cares amigo!" said Juan. "Lets just get home!" He began to walk forward, until a purple flash blinded us, then it went away in an instant. A guard wearing purple armor used his magic to raise his flintlock pistol and shot Juan in the forehead.
"JUAN!" Yelled Chuck. Chuck ran towards the guard, and the guard raised his sword. Before the guard could kill Chuck, however, he grabbed the guard by the horn and began to deliver punches to the face to the guard. The guard flashed out, however, and kicked Chuck in the stomach.
"Get out of here guys! I will be fine!" We looked as Chuck, and heard banging on the door. "GO! NOW!" We all took a deep breath, and jumped into the mirror. A flash of light... Then.... Darkness...
Kyle's PoV Location: ????? Time: ?????????
I let out a loud moan. I looked up at the sky, the sun shined into my face, and birds chirped. I looked, around and saw trees and the other humans moaning and sitting up. We all just looked at each other. I took a head count. 22 of us. 250 of us began this adventure back at New Jamestown. We all stood up and looked at each other. Victoria pulled out her phone, and she smiled, a tear falling down her eye. Her phone had service. We all broke into big smiles. She then looked up where we were, and it turned out we were in the middle of a forest in Ohio. We look at a tree, however. One right in the middle of the path. One bigger than the rest. I walked up to it, and touched it, feeling it vibrate. The vibrating stopped, and I thought of Chuck. He was surly dead. I sighed. We picked up our weapons and began to walk down the dirt path. And as we did, we looked around. Trees, animals, we saw a deer, some birds, some rocks. Just like the Everfree forest... But something was different. Something we waited for a long time. We were not being chased. We were not trying to run for our lives. No one was trying to kill us. And as we reached the edge of the forest, and saw the open field. We walked out of the forest, and into the field. However, when we did, we began to drop our weapons. One by one. Soon, none of us had weapons. Just our hands by our sides. And soon, we reached the end of that open field, and began to walk up a hill. When we reached the top of the hill, we looked down, and saw a small town. We smiled. We began to walk down the hill, and as we did, we knew one thing was for sure, even though some of us may lives in different states, even though some of us still do not know each other, we knew one thing was for sure...
We were finally home.
Celestia's PoV Canterlot Castle
"We have opened the room and captured the human your highness... However... Captain Shining Armor... Is dead...." Fury raged inside of me. First our guard, then my sister, and now Shining Armor. I trotted into the room and saw Candace and Twilight sitting beside Shining Armor's dead body, crying. I sighed. I looked down at a guard.
"Go to Ponyville, then to the Science Center in Ponyville. Find anything relating to this project, and DESTROY it. Then, throw the human in the dungeon, and make sure he does not get out. We will decide his fate later."
"Yes, your highness." The guard galloped off, and I sighed again. I went to a window and looked outside. Dead guards, humans, and Changelings were all across the roads. I sighed. The day was lost for us, and some have suffered more losses then others... I trotted over to the mirror, and charged up my horn, this was it, the battle was lost, and this project... Was lost.. And I fired my magic, destroying the mirror... Forever...
Well, my first story is done, and I could not be happier with how it turned out. I am typing this before I published the final chapter, and so far 49 likes and 10 dislikes. I could not be happier. So now, whats next? Well, I have a few different story ideas.
1.) Do an Amazing Race crossover. I am a huge fan of the Amazing Race, and a friend and I even auditioned for it, but we did not make it.
