A relaxed and cool night breeze blew through Gojira Jr.'s mane. The kaiju pony couldn't rest. His mind was thinking about something - actually about somepony. Luna, Princess Luna. Goji felt these "feelings" about her. Twists of warmth in his chest recently. Now that she was no longer an enemy, his appreciation for her wisdom and beauty had grown. It was something that attracted him, unlike another mare whose name is Blade Dancer. The thought made him both ashamed but unregretful at the same time. How could he have these "feelings" to someone like her? She was a royal beloved by her people and land. He was a skyscraper sized mutation masquerading as one of her species. Not to mention a descended of the great terror of 1954. Junior snorted, brushing the ill thoughts aside despite some mixed feelings. He didn't care. He liked her.

"She definitely has looks down. Not even her sister has beauty nailed quite the same. Not even close..." Goji thought to himself with a chuckle.

The thoughts of her just made him get up and have a night trot. He walked for so long he lost track of time and soon found himself along a shoreline. He paced up the beach, leaving deep hoofprints as he went. Gojira decided to stop at a certain spot, pausing to enjoy a midnight sea breeze. There he trained his head up to the sky, gazing upon the stars and moon. A soft smile grew on his face. Never before had he admired the moon's beauty. He looked down at his reflection on the ocean's water. The kaiju prince titled his head. He made a variety of facial expressions, still unfamiliar with his new face and looking at how he appeared in various moods.

"Hope Luna would..well she knows me b--," the kaiju was lost on words. He sighed and continued on.

Gojira didn't know where he was going. In fact, he didn't care where he was going. He thought about Luna, her appearance, personality and beauty.

"She's a really fine mare. She has the qualities of Venus. I wish to know how she became such a charm," thought the kaiju prince to himself.

He stopped on an area of soft tall grass and laid down, retrying to rest. Eventually, he was deep dreaming. He was going inside the castle of Canterlot. Everything was clean and glamorous as always expect strangely...it was a vacuous castle. It was dead silent and weird, but Junior continued on. Out of the blue, a mare was crying. It was coming from one of the castle room above. The crying was soft with some mumbling. The kaiju pony grew greatly in curiosity and decided to investigate. He went up to the third floor of the castle, finding out it was the first room of that floor.

"Hello? Is everything okay?" Junior called out to the crying mare after he knocked on the sealed door.

Just a brief second after Goji called out, the room was muted. He was confused. "I'm coming in." Junior slowly opened the door and with a big surprise, he saw Luna with tears flowing down her cheeks and was sitting in the floor.

"Luna! Are you okay?!" Gojira's heart raced seeing her this way, as if something very atrocious happened. Luna turned to him. The crying princess of night was no more.

Her voice roared, "YOU PATHETIC BEAST! DEATH! DESTROYER OF WORLDS! I TRUSTED YOU! How foolish of me having my faith strong on such devil!"

Junior was strucked by the words. Not a muscle he moved. His nuclear heart dropped. He couldn't believe what she was saying. He replied in confusion, "What fault have I committed?"

Luna snapped, interrupting, "OH! DON'T BE RIDICULOUS! You caused the massacre of everypony!" Luna's anger transformed her into a dark mare with shining blue armor.

"Luna! Enough! You don't understand! What have I--" Goji tried to comprehend but the furious princess only caused the conclusion of the kaiju prince. "Good night..." whispered Luna.

"AGGGHHH!!!!" Junior awoke screaming in fear. He panted as he looked among his sides. Still the peaceful night he recalled. Goji sighed and smirked, "What a dream. My love interest does that to me. Worst thing apart from father's death!"

Just a second after saying that, Junior felt his heart struck. "Father..." saying it sorrowful and began to tear. "Father..why am I here? Being here just makes me weak for this female royal equine that doesn't exist back home. I'm NOT even one of her kind...SHE PERHAPS SEES ME AS AN AKUMA! WHY FATHER?! WHY COULD'T I JUST LIVE IN MONSTER ISLAND FOR THE REST OF MY DEMONIC LIFE?" Junior felt more depressed, but his heart began to rage. "WHY DO I HAVE TO BE DISGUISED IN THIS IDIOTIC AND WEAKER FORM OF SUPPOSEDLY MYSELF?!" He stopped for a breath, but he wasn't finished, "Rather...yet...WHY DID YOU RESURRECTED ME?! I didn't need my damned life back. Destroyah killed me! It was my end! My finale! My conclusion! I WOULD BE WITH YOU RIGHT NOW THAN IN THIS SO-CALLED EQUESTRIA! If I'm the 'Prince of Monsters', why don't we ever get respect or honor like the royals here?! The ponies love them! Kaijus and humans want us dead...damn you father!" At last, Goji was out of words. Rather than feeling rage still, he ended up hurting his own feelings. "Forgive me, dad..." the kaiju prince bursted into tears.
~~~
The Princess of the Night was mediating. The warm weather and breezy wind kept her focus and relaxed. Suddenly, she heard a crying that interrupted her attention. She opened her eye and slightly turned her head to where it was coming from. It seem to be a stallion crying, and not too far off. She tried to continue mediating, but her curiosity made her investigate. As she followed the sounds of the crying, to her big surprise, she saw it was Gojira Junior.
"Goji?" approached Luna to the crying kaiju pony. Goji softly stopped crying upon hearing her voice. He looked up at her, somewhat timid due to his nightmare but cleared his throat, wiped his tears and responded to her, "Yes?"
"What's the matter? Why are you crying?" Luna asked warmly, as she came toward the young kaiju and rubbed his back for comfort. Goji simply looked the opposite direction and requested her peacefully to leave.
"Luna, please go..."
"Why?"
"I don't deserve this..."
"What do you mean?"
"I'm nothing, but a terrible beast masquerading one of your kind."
"Gojira, you are not terrible. I misjudged you. Our past conflict has passed. Forgive me for my actions-"
Junior interrupted roaring, "You don't understand! I don't know why I had to be transported here. I rather be dead!" Luna was confused greatly why Gojira was feeling in such manner. Luna tried to respeak, "But Goj--" "Farewell..." the kaiju pony galloped off into the darkness.
The Next Day
Gojira was feeling awful, perhaps worse than the previous night. He really needed to ask for forgiveness for his immature and rude attitude. It was not his intention nor was it Luna's fault he was feeling such. "How could I? I yelled at my father and my love interest, and it was neither of their fault. I most likely made things tougher," Gojira smirked at himself, yet he was deeply full of pity. He sighed and gave himself a facehoof. "Father...forgive me. I can't hear you but, I hope you forgive me. I didn't mean to...it's just this mare whom I'm falling for. I'm sure you're not a love expert. But if you are in any degree, what should I do? Do kaijus like us deserve a true love?" He laid back in wonder to his question. Suddenly, the kaiju had an idea.
Later
Junior was heading to the castle of Canterlot, for he knew Luna would be there. As he came closer to the castle, he was becoming a little nervous. His feelings and mind were betraying him. Goji shook his head and took a breath. "Can't stop," he said to himself and continued on.
As Gojira approached the entrance he spotted two royal guards having a conversation. He needed one of them to lead him inside the castle. One the guards was now going away to finish his job. The other one didn't turn around yet. Goji accosted to that one, "Good afternoon, may you please guide me inside to speak with Princess Luna?"
"Oh? For?" The guard's voice was very familiar; it was a mare's voice. Yet, the guard didn't turn to face him. She spoke again with a giggle, "Is that who I think it is?"
At last, she turned towards him. It was a white pegasus with a long, dark red mane, Blade Dancer.
"Oh no..." Junior shook his head to the ground.
Blade Dancer lifted and lower her eyebrows a couple times and spoke, "So so, what brought you here big guy?"
Junior rapidly interrupted before she said anything else, "Yeah yeah. Could I speak with Princess Luna?"
"Why?" asked the guard with a flirty voice and fluttered her eyes.
The kaiju groaned and rolls eyes. He was exhausted of her attitude, now knowing what all she does means. "Blade! Enough! It's none of your beeswax okay?! It's a personal reason. I need to speak to Luna now!
Blade was deeply surprised. The reaction Gojira made was alien to her; for he hadn't acted such way. He was serious for sure. She spoke in a calm and normal voice, "Well, follow me." The mare guard led the kaiju pony inside the castle. From there she said nothing more. Simply leading him to where the princesses' room. "Wait here," Blade knocked on a white, well-decorated door.
A voice behind the door answered, "Yes?"
"It's Col. Blade Dancer, your highness."
"Oh, come in."
Goji waited. In deep curiousity, he put his ear against the door and heard the following.
"How could I help you Colonel?"
"You have a guest who wishes to speak with you?"
"A guest? A newcomer?"
"Not exactly. He's been here for a while."
"And that is?"
"Gojira."
A few minutes later, Blade and Luna came out from the room. Blade left the two alone, while Luna greeted Junior, "Greetings Gojira. I believe you wanted to talk to me." Just by seeing Luna, Goji felt relaxed and warm in his heart. He had eyes of love.
"Um, Goji?" questioned Luna, slightly confused.
"Ah, um, oh yes yes I-I wanted to talk to you." Junior shooked his head and quickly recalled what he first wanted to say. He spoke in a calmer and softer voice, "Luna, pardon me for my actions about the night before. I didn't mean to yell at you and it wasn't your fault." Goji looked down sadly and with repent.
Luna tilted her head and rubbed the kaiju's back, "Relax Goji, I wasn't hurt in any sort. Just confused why you were feeling such."
Junior looked up and sigh, "Just had a bad night...long story..." Junior was ready to ask the Princess of Night what he had planned. Something that can change things. "Luna, could we talk about that later? Maybe after you raise the moon?"
Luna thought about what Junior had just told her. It was interesting. She knew it wouldn't hurt at all so in reply, "Sure. Where would you like to meet?"
Goji hadn't thought about it. He thought the plan would be ruined. Thankfully, he remembered the shoreline where he ended up after losing track. Junior thought it would be perfect. "At the shoreline. Would that work?"
"Absolutely," Luna nodded smiling.
"Great!" Junior smiled back. "I got to get going now." The kaiju thought of saying something playfully. Without thinking twice, he uttered in a somewhat flirty voice, "I'll see you soon, princess." He started going off.
Luna lifted an eyebrow. She thought it was strange what he just did, although she couldn't help but blush a light pink. She let out a soft giggle, for it was a little cute.
(Throughout the whole conversation between the Prince of Monsters and Princess of the Night, Blade Dancer had ears of an owl. She hid in a closet not too far off. "So he likes Luna huh?" She thought to herself. "That flirty voice he made. I probably taught him too well." She let out a small laughter. "Very interesting.")
Later That Day
The Prince of Monsters was present at the shoreline as he promised earlier. He was somewhat anxious, but had to keep his cool. It was still sunset. He wanted the night, with its moon and stars, to hurry. Goji held on with caution to a rose he picked from his way to the shoreline. It was bright red and lovely to look at. "Hopefully she likes roses," thought Goji to himself. At last, the sun was saying goodbye for the day, and the moon and the stars ascended into the dark night sky. Goji looked up, joyful at the sight like a young colt waking up in a Christmas morning. Luna was around, she had to be close. Finally, the Princess of the Night was making her way down after rising the moon. She was going toward the position where Goji was. Goji was blissful at the sight of a dark blue, but beautiful angel. Luna's hooves touched the sands of the beach. She spoke to the kaiju pony, "Well greetings Gojira. I hope I did not kept you waiting for so long."
Junior smiled brightly and responded to her in a softer voice than usual, "Oh no no no. Just in time."
Luna sighed in relief and sat next to him. "So what is the exact purpose of being here?"
Junior responded, "Well I thought you wouldn't want to be alone as everypony sleeps and hardly anything is active. Oh and I got you something," the kaiju pony showed her the rose he obtained for her and offered it to her.
Luna looked at the rose, "Aww Gojira." She smiled and held it in her hooves, but her smile had fainted. She looked down, along with her ears, feeling unhappy from his previous statement, "Now that you mentioned," she sighed and continued, "I feel that nopony likes the night.."
Goji felt he screwed up, he placed his left hoof over her right one and looked up at her, "Pardon me Luna, I-I didn't mean to make you feel such."
"Oh no no Gojira, you are fine. But it's the truth nopony likes the ni--"
Goji interrupted, "I like the night honestly. Night does a variety of things the day can't. For example, lights bright and shine better, like the stars," he pointed to the stars and looked up at them, then he resumed, "It may quiet, but the night also is relaxing and calm. It's just matter of fact the you got to see the details to enjoy something. Well, not only I see the night now, but everyday, anytime actually. Just by looking at you Luna, I see the night's beauty and wonders."
Luna smiled, but she smiled very cheerfully and merriful. She closed her eyes, leaned toward and hugged him, "Thank you!"
Junior's eyes widen and blushed. What he told her was too sweet? He was a bit surprised. Luna opened her eyes and realized what she done is perhaps embarrassing, "Oh...s-s-sorry." She pulled away and clear her throat.
Goji chuckled softly and tilted his head just a little, "Hey don't regret it. If it was something sweet, admit it."
Luna covered his mouth with her hoof to prevent him from saying more, "Oh hush." She couldn't help but slip a small giggle.
Goji continued speaking, even though his voice was muffled, just to make her laugh. Luna rolled her eyes playfully and spoke in a commanding, but merriful manner, "Now Goji, keep talking and I'll-"
Goji removed her hoof from his mouth and interrupted yelling, "Destroy the world!" He fell back laughing.
Suddenly, Luna's eyes became narrow and she scolded at Junior, "Ahem..." She somewhat gritted her teeth and wasn't playing at all.
Goji stopped all the sudden, he was frozen and still. He seem to made her furious. What did he do? Did he really screw up big time? It was the Princess of the Night he said that to. What was Luna going to do? He looked down with repent, "I'm...sorry..."
But then, "Hahaha!" Luna was now the laughter. "Aww, did you fell for it?" She giggled and pushed him with her elbow.
"What the-- oh.." Junior admitted, "Well it was a good one, hehe. You got me scared hard..."
"I so did!" Luna couldn't stop laughing. Goji simply smirked and laid back.
Luna relaxed from her laughter and look toward at Junior, "Oh get up you."
"Help me," Goji winked and laid back comfortably.
Luna grinned and used her magic to lift up Goji. She setted him on the ground. "Thanks," said Gojira. But instead of setting him on the ground completely, she lifted him stories high. She giggled hard and looked at him, "Well?"
Junior yawned and felt it like nothing, "Hm?"
"Ohhh tricky," Luna lifted him even higher. Now Goji didn't like the height where he was at, it was much more than what he stood in kaiju form, "Okay okay! I get it!" yelled Goji down at her.
"Good boy," Luna setted Goji down on the ground. "You learned your lesson."
"Myah."
"Again?"
"No no no!"
"Aww was it scary? Scared of heights?"
"Pff-"
"Mhm," Luna kept giggling. "Are you okay? You seem kind of..different?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, you ain't Mr. I-Am-A-Monster as always. You seem more casual and relaxed."
"Is that bad?"
"No! I mean, not at all, it's sweet and cute."
Junior looked at her, "So you're calling me cute?"
"No! Your behavior is cute, Goji."
"So I'm not cute?" Junior wanted to test Luna. He wondered if she found him handsome, as he finds her beautiful.
"Nooo! You're fine but-- maybe..."
Goji chuckled happily. He was starting to feel better about his connection with Luna. The two ponies were more than just trusting each other. It was more than just being familiar with each other. It was something new. They were talking and acting like friends.
An hour passed, both were having a splendid conversation. Junior had a question he always wanted to ask, yet he needed Luna's trust about it. It might be very personal, thought the kaiju. So then, Goji took a breath and looked at her. "Luna, c-could I ask you something?
"Sure! Go ahead," smiled Luna.
Goji was now stuck in thought. He was shy to admit to say it and just didn't know how to put it. Goji took some time to think about it. He breathe in softly and uttered his words. "Luna...you...are amazing. Em, not just amazing but like....wonderful, precious...you know?"
Luna was a bit blushy from his words. She never knew he would say that. After all, he never knew about love toward another living being, but it seems he understands the idea. "Continue Goji..."
Junior continued, "Well...if I were to defend somepony in my life...it would be you. We both understand, the feeling of lonliness. Perhaps you had it harder and most likely but...hey, who else admits the feeling of isolation from the world? I was afraid they would kil--"
Everything stopped for the kaiju. His words, his movements. He stood frozen. A touch that changed the destructive heart which was passed down since his grandfather. Luna's dark blue lips were touching his'. Junior never felt such warmth. The warmth was beautiful, he thought. Talking was enough. He wrapped his arms around the beautiful angel of darkness and continue the kiss he earned.~
Not so far off, somepony was watching them the whole time through a telescope. (Guess?) Ah, Blade Dancer. Who else? As she saw the two kissed, she dropped the telescope gently and simply smiling, tilting her head saying, "Well done big boy."
