Twilight and her friends go to visit there lost friend pinkie in the Asylum, the power goes down for no visable reason... Thinks start getting strange. Laughing and things in the shadows.
"Come on guys! Its this way!" The pink pony giggled bouncing away to her house. "Just in here in the kitchen!" She sat down on the tiled floor staring at the door way waiting for her friends to come through, oh she was going to have so much fun. She was so exited she had done this many times before with unknown ponies like Bon Bon, Lyra and even Derpy but not with her friends when making her list she decided she would add a little treat and put all her friends together in one big group, excitement washed over her once more. A large grin started to appear as she thought of all the things she was going to do to each and every single one of them and then finally she was going to- her train of thought was cut off.
"Pinkie, what exactly are we doing again?" The Purple Unicorn asked stepping into Pinkies view the others behind her.
"Well.." Pinkie looked to her side where a large butchers knife sat placing her hooves together she looked back up at the five ponies stood in her door way as she stood up. "Were going to.. Have a party!" As she squeed excitedly. She pushed her friends in the kitchen, shutting and locking the door. With a click of her hooves the windows slammed shut and the curtains drew closed.
"P..Pinkie.. This doesn't look mush like a party" Fluttershy said, her voice nervous and quiet looking at the back of the pink pony in front of her still standing behind Twilight.
"yeah i guess your right.. That wasn't a very good cover story.. " Pinkie Pie turned round her eyes were wide and her grin now very disturbing. Her mane and tail weren't the usual bouncy fluff but were straight and fell down her back. She slowly stood up walking towards her friends as they backed away into a wall.
"Pinkie what are you doing? Stop this now!" The rainbow pegasus said loudly and threatening but Pinkie could sense a tone of fear in her voice.
"Oh dash, stop hiding your fear.." Still looking at the ponies in front of her she smiled picking up the butchers knife.
" Pinkie ah would mighty appreciate you stop this right now.." Apple Jack said stepping in front of the group. Pinkie just giggles and slowly approached the farm pony the knife clenched between her teeth.
"Pinkie.. Stop.." She backed away gulping. "Oh AJ ah cant stop now you silly filly" her voice slightly muffled due to the blade in her mouth as she mimicked Apple Jack.
"Then ah will have to stop ya by force" Apple Jack charged towards Pinkie, but suddenly found herself on the floor with a sharp pain in her side. Pinkie had moved out of the way and slashed her side open as she ran past.
As Apple Jack tried to get up pinkie appeared over her pinning her hooves down with her own. Dropping the knife to the side she smiled. "Well I guess you're first then Apple Jack but first do you want to know a secret..?" She giggled happily looking down at the pony underneath her, Apple Jacks face was pale and frightened. "I'll take that as a yes" She giggled again. "Wel you know when I told you that Apple Bloom went to Appaloosa with Big Mac when you thought she had been ponynapped..? Well, I may or may not have told a little fib" She gestured to a skull on the floor as Apple Jack looked her face turning from scared to horrified. "What in the hay Pinkie! She was Mah sister! Why'd ya do it..?" The farm pony sniffed back tears. "She knew to much and was threatening to tell the Police" Picking up the knife again she smiled. "And now you can join her" With one swift move of the head pinkie drew the blade across the farm ponies throat. As she chocked on her own blood Apple Jack tried to distract the pony holding her down in order to let her friends escape.
As Twilight at the rest of the group left the room the bowed their heads in grief at the pony who had saved them. Honesty had left Equestria.
Twilight shuddered as the memories flooded her mind.
"Twilight are you okay?" Spike said cautiously entering her room.
"Yes i'm fine Spike" she lied as Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash and Rarity entered the room. As the purple pony stepped towards them she sighed. Walking out of the castle they all walk towards and old building not saying a word.
"Lets go get some answers" the others nodded looking up at the building in front of them with a sign which read-
The buliding was extreamly large and tall, a very frightening place to be. Mothers used to say to the children if they misbehaved, the lunics of hooves asylum would come and take them away if they didnt go to bed. But of course there just storys but even so the four mares stood wide eyed trembling with fear and Twilight gulped walking towards the gate and pushing it open as Fluttershy screamed and jumped into a near by bush.
"Fluttershy come on!" Rainbow Dash spoke whilst pulling her friend out of the bush and pushing her to keep walking. Sighing Fluttershy found her hooves and started following Twilight who was already half way down the path. As they lost space between them they were at the doors, from here you could see how run down it was as the stepped through the doors a crash was heard, they all span around to see that they were blocked in by piles of bricks which had fallen down.
"I guess theres no turning back now" Rarity giggled nervously stepping in the lead she said "Lets get going" walking to the desk she picked up a map, some keys and a torch.
The deeper into the asylum they went the creeper it got, the farthest hardest to reach room was the one they wanted, typical really. Shadows crept round every corner as the four mares said nothing to each other and just kept walking with Rarity in front, the Twilight, Rainbow Dash and at the back Fluttershy. As they got closer and closer to their destination and laughter filled there ears that once used to be reassuring and brought a smile on their faces, but now was disturbing, menacing and brought a chill down each of their spines. Then silence, it was like this for a few minutes until a clattering filled the corridor and then darkness pure darkness.
"Whats going on" Rarity screamed "I think the powers gone out, the flash light Rarity the flash light!" Twilight spoke in a panicked tone, Rarity fumbled with her bag and turned the flash light on. "One Two Three Four five.. Good were all here.." Rarity said sighing in relief but As she said five Twilights face went pale and her ears flattened. "R..rarity theres only four of us.." Raritys eyes widened as she saw the fifth pony. Pink body and a straight pink mane and tail. Laughter filled the corridor again. "Run!" She screamed as the four mares ran in any direction the could but rarity dropped the flash light so ran in complete darkness as they split off into two groups Rainbow and Fluttershy, and Rarity and Twilight. Pinkie had vanished as Dash panicked in blidness tripping over the lost flash light.
"Great now we can see" as the two pegasi went in one direction the others went the opposite way using there horns as a light source. Four mares one killer in a maze of darkness trapped and scared, laughter once again filled the air.
"Twilight..?" the yellow pony whispered pleading for her friend to find them but not wanting to attract any 'unwanted attention'. "Rarity..? Where are you two..?" she continued as Dash shot her a look which quickly shut the mare up.
"The quicker we find them the quicker we can leave but don't call for them otherwise she might find us and I would rather not die today.." Dash mumbled even quieter than Fluttershy who nodded and stayed close to Rainbow. Rainbow Dash seemed calm in times like this but Fluttershy could tell she was just as scared as she was, Pinkie was always close with Rainbow but after seeing AJ brutally murdered in front of her something changed. She wasn't the outgoing, totally awesome pony she new, she had turned into her and that worried Fluttershy more than the situation they were in. She looked at Rainbow for a brief second then carried on walking her gaze forward.
Laughter echoed through the halls as the four mares shuddered, she was on her way, but for who..? From what they new of Pinkie, or Pinkamena Dianne Pie was that she hunted her pray down one by one to scare the others who would survive a little longer. Each pony hoped it was somepony else, all except Rainbow. She just hoped her friends would be okay, she wanted the chance to 'talk' with Pinkie herself and finish some unsettled business she had, and she knew where to find her. Suddenly the Cyan mare shot off leaving Fluttershy there, alone in the darkness. Panicked she cried out for help as it echoed through the halls and picked up by the two unicorns. They both gasped and shouted at the same time "We're coming Fluttershy!"
But some thing else was on its way, headed in the same direction as the unicorns but it was going to get there first.
