A series of event's dictating Sunset Shimmer's life after the event's of Rainbow Rocks, and her attempt learning about friendship.
After defeating the Siren's, Sunset Shimmer start's using her magical book to write to Princess Twilight about her own finding's on the magic of friendship, and her progress trying to turn over a new leaf in the human world.
So today I decided to take up Princess Twilight’s advice on writing my thought’s in a diary. She says it may help me collect my thoughts, as well as be a record of my progress on learning about Friendship. I’m not really sure if I should be calling this a Diary or a journal to be honest as the plan is to share this with Princess Twilight during her visit’s so she can see how I am coming along with my “Lessons On Friendship” and so she can better advise me on how I can improve. But I like the sound of Diary better then Journal.
Anyway, Rainbow Dash has been teaching me how to play the guitar for The Rainbooms, and Fluttershy has been helping me with my vocals. Being a part of the band is really fun, I really feel like I’m finally accepted as part of the group and as a friend. We recently played a gig at the school’s football game half-time show. I was a bit nervous at first, but after while I got over it and had a blast.
I've also been going down to the local horse racing arenas with Fluttershy to help volunteer and take care of the horses there. They also have a few ponies as well. The ponies and horses look nothing like we do in Equestria though, so strange, they also don’t talk. I got strange looks from the owner when I asked him about it. Despite that however I seem to be able to communicate with the horses and ponies pretty well, and I get along with all of them just as well as Fluttershy does. The owners love referring to us as the “Horse Whisperer’s”, whatever that means.
On a final note I’m still trying to find my proper place in this world. Back in Equestria I spent most of my life believing I was going to grow up to become a Princess alongside Princess Celestia, but now that is obviously just dust in the wind. So now I have to find some other aspiration to reach for when I grow older, but I have no idea what. I like music, but I don’t think I’ll ever be good enough to do so professionally. Rarity suggested I go into politics, but I’m not sure that’ such a good idea given my…past.
Anyway I better run, I promised I would help volunteer with Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie in baking some cupcakes for the school’s bake sale. Hopefully Pinkie won’t eat any of them before we can sell them this time…
Today Rarity came over to my place to help re-decorate my room…or apartment I should say as I live in a boarding house that also co-exist as an Orphanage of sorts. Before I turned a new leaf, I was living in the school in unlocked classrooms and such. But after having to officially register as a student and Principle Celestia found out that I don’t have an actual home, she sent me here.
The room I am staying in has been unused for quite some time, and therefore much of the interior such as the walls have been damaged and aged poorly so to speak. Luckily Rarity was more than willing to help me spruce up the place when I asked her for some wallpaper, and even offered to help me choose and set it up. Along with some furnishings, poster’s, table cloths, etc. The place looks much better and more inviting now than when I first arrived. Just wish it was not so lonely….
Also on a similar note, it feels weird that I have to apply to school and other official things as an orphan when I am really not. My parents are still very much alive and well, my mother is a vocalist for hire working in various studios and my father is a well-known business consultant who even works closely with Princess Celestia. The only reason I don’t live with them anymore is they still live in Equestria and well… I don’t. I talked to Principle Celestia about changing my status to Run-away or something. But she claim’s the fact that I am unable to return to Equestria and therefor can’t live with my parent’s at all makes me an Orphan, even if they are still living.
I do hope to eventually return to Equestria to visit my parent’s again, even if it’s only for a little while. I tried recently now that Princess Twilight has re-opened it and found a way to make it so she can re-turn here at any time, but when I tried to I could not break through the barrier. I wonder if Princess Celestia put a spell blocking me from returning to Equestria in any way. May have to talk to Princess Twilight about that sometime. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Day 3-
Dear Diary,
Today we had a special guest come into our school to speak with us, his name was Discord. In Equestria I remember Discord being some sort of evil creature that lived solely to cause chaos and havoc until Princess Celestia and Princess Luna turned him into stone. Heck I even remember the stone he was turned into in the Canterlot Garden’s, this guy has the same beard and eyebrows I remember seeing on the statue.
Anyway, he arrived to talk to us about “Choosing the right career path, and the importance of choosing something that we are good at and makes us happy”. It was kind of hard for me to listen to given my chosen career path I had followed since childhood has been swept away far from my grasp. Of course I failed miserably at it, so I guess being a leader was not something I was necessarily good at. My real talent was magic, but again that’s something I also can’t do anymore.
It really was a heartbreaking moment hearing him tell us that we should follow our talent when mine is something I can’t use anymore. I remember the day I got my cutie mark in magic, it was possibly the happiest day of my life. Though maybe I have some other hidden talent I have yet to tap into that I will find here in this world.
I still am however, hoping to find a way to tap into my magic from here. I know somehow the magic in this book I am using, and in Twilight’s crown when I brought that over was still able to pass through intact. So maybe there is still a way I can restore my magic and have my special talent back. Even though I am not sure how I would use it in this world, I’m sure I could find some way to use it for good here.
I slightly remember my mother once giving me an old amulet of some kind back when I was a small filly. She had found it on a trip to Saddle Arabia, and it was supposed to contain unicorn magic that even an Earth pony could tap into. I never bothered testing it back then of course because I already had unicorn magic. But now that I don’t, I’m wondering if there actually was something to that amulet, especially after seeing the necklaces the Siren’s where using.
I’m not sure where the necklace is though, or even if I brought it to this world with me when I left Equestria. I’m pretty sure I must of as I meant to bring back everything I had ever been given by my parent’s. But I have yet to have found it among everything else I brought, so who knows.
Anyway I’d better run, The Rainbooms have a practice session this afternoon and Rainbow Dash want’s to show us all the new guitar her parent’s bought her. She must really like it as she has not stopped talking about it all day. Well at least until Rarity told her to put a sock in it and Pinkie actually did put a sock in her mouth. Have to wonder where she got it though as she still had both her socks on her feet. So today I was introduced to this magical thing called coffee. I've never tried it before, but i was told it was similar to Tea which has always been my preferred source of caffeine in the morning. However Rarity suggested I give coffee a try and it….was….AWESOME!!!!
Seriously why was I not introduced to this wonderful magic they call coffee back in Equestria? I’m pretty sure we have it back there. We have this place called Starbucks around here which sells all different kinds of coffee from all over the world….….Well this world at least. There is Frappuccino’s, Cafe Latte’s, Macchiato’s, and so much more. I wanted to keep trying as many as I could, but Rarity cut me off after three rounds stating too much coffee is bad for you.
They also sell them in stores too, and I may have spent perhaps a bit more then I needed to, stock piling myself on the stuff. Rarity is now regretting introducing me to coffee, but I’m not. The only annoying part is how I get all shaky and jittery after 3 or more cups, so I guess I probably really should cut down on my coffee consumption. The next time you are here though you really should try it, or if it’s in Equestria go and get some there. They can be kind of expensive depending on where you buy it from, but its well worth the price.
Anyway I've still had no luck in finding that amulet I mentioned earlier. I’m beginning to think I left it back in Equestria in my haste to leave. Maybe you could ask Princess Celestia if she has seen it lying around the castle after I left. It was a green amulet shaped like the sun, and I had my named engraved on the sides. If you do find it I would very much appreciate if you could send it back my way via the portal. Other than the possibility of getting my unicorn magic back, it is also a special gift from my mother, so it would give me something to remember her by as I doubt I’ll ever see her again.
That said I’d better close for now. Got band practice in a few minutes, and this time I get to try playing lead guitar along with Rainbow Dash. Hopefully I won’t mess up.
Today it has been raining all day, none stop, so my friends and I took refuge from the storm at my place. While there I introduced Rainbow Dash and Pinkie to my Power Ponies comic collection I had brought back from Equestria. Actually I brought back quite a lot of my enchanted and none enchanted books back, as I’m kind of a massive dork. Something I was trying to hide when I first got here afraid it would damper my influence and power I had over the school. But now that I’m not trying to control the entire student body with an iron fist, I’m free to be myself again.
Anyway Rainbow and Pinkie where really interested in my Enchanted comics (I also have a few Romantic ones that Rarity and Fluttershy where interested in) and begged me to activate the spell to bring us into the comic. After some persuading they got Rarity and Fluttershy to join, and I activated the spell bringing us into the book. Though I made sure to choose my absolute favorite one so I could beat the villain more easily so Fluttershy would be less afraid to come with us.
Once we were all in the comic, being a pony comic of course, we were all not only turned into the characters, but our Equestrian pony representations of the characters. In my case, myself. It felt amazing to be a pony again after so long, and this time not trying to sneak around or do anything uncouth. The other’s quite enjoyed it too, and especially enjoyed their Power Pony powers. Rainbow Dash became Zap, Rarity Radiance, Applejack Mysterious Marevelous, Pinkie Pie Filisecond, Fluttershy Saddlerager, and I became The Masked Matterhorn. It was nice having my friends with me this time, as I normally go into my enchanted comics alone.
It took a while for them to get used to their power’s, but once they did we all had a grand ole time defeating the villain’s, even Fluttershy and Rarity ended up enjoying it. Fluttershy took the longest to use her powers, but after one of the bad guy’s stepped on a bug she lost it and went full Saddlerager mode. It was awesome and kind of scary at the same time. Mostly awesome though. I think we spent a total of three hours before beating the villain and finishing the comic, de-activating the spell and being sent out of the comic. Everyone really enjoyed it, and begged me to invite them all over some other time to try the other enchanted comics books I have.
Better close this for now and get started on my homework, which sadly is not as fun as the ones I had back in Equestria, studying under Princess Celestia. -Day 6
Dear Diary,
Today Rarity asked us to help her with her latest clothing designs. She had made them for a contest to be held in Philadelphia (This worlds version of Fillydelphia I can only assume), and needed us to help her take pictures of her design’s to send in for nomination into the contest. They were old made to represent different time periods in this world, and the winning designs for the contest would be used in some kind of Blast To The Past fashion line or something like that.
We each were given designs from different time periods to pose with. Fluttershy got the 1920’s, Pinkie Pie the 1930’s, Applejack the 1940’s, I got the 1950’s and Rainbow Dash got the 1960’s. I’m surprise Rarity did not want to pose for some of them, but she insisted on staying behind the camera so as to make sure the photos were properly shot.
We had fun posing for the camera, but after a while Pinkie, Rainbow and I start messing around a bit by making funny faces and ridiculous poses. Rarity got a bit upset with us though so we stopped after a few minutes and went back to the poses she wanted us to do. However after the shoot was finished and all the photos were sent off via e-mail (some weird way of sending letter’s and stuff via computer’s) we all had a bit of fun doing silly poses for the camera. Even Fluttershy and Rarity joined in.
Anyway better sign off and get back to homework. Our English teacher is making us write a ten page essay describing our life growing up. Not sure how that’s going to work out for me as I spent my entire childhood in another world….As a Pony…..Studying magic under a Alicorn Princess. Should be interesting to see everyone’s reactions at least, provided they don’t throw me in one of those insanity asylum’s afterword.
Today I took some of the money I've been saving and bought a computer. One of those hi-tech things everyone around here uses. I've had it for barely a day, and already I’m hooked. I bought one of the smaller ones called a Notebook as it was cheaper. It can’t play any video games, but it can help me type, and most importantly access this thing called the internet.
I think the internet is the part I find the most intriguing, as it allows me to connect to thousands of people from all over the world in seconds, all at the same time. Kind of wish there was a way to connect to Equestria from it. Hey, maybe if I can get Twilight to invent internet there, we can make some kind of magical connection between this world and Equestria. We could call it the Pony Wide Web, or E.O.L for Equestria Online.
One thing I think would be really cool to add to this between worlds web portal (if we ever make it) would be a video sharing platform. Around here we have this thing called YouTube, where we can make and share videos that can be seen all over this world. Our band has actually been using it to gain some publicity. Rainbow Dash brought a camera and we filmed ourselves practicing, then cut out the in between part’s and posted it. The video got quite a lot of views, and now we are getting a few more gig’s then we used to.
Anyway I just heard a ding, which means I have a new message on Skype (This online message sharing system similar to this book I am using in fact). Probably from Pinkie Pie doing her “Whatsuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup” thing again, we really need to stop her from watching those videos about the annoying talking orange. -Day 8
Dear Diary,
Today I started my first ever (ugh) Day Job. Principal Celestia suggested it so I can save up some money for University after I graduate. I almost rejected the idea as I am still unsure whether I plan to stay here after leaving HS, or trying to get back to Equestria if Princess Celestia lets me. But just in case, and because all my friends suggested I do what Principal Celestia has suggested, I applied for and got a job at Wally Mart.
The first day was really tough….And Boooooooring. They spent an hour with me at the start of my shift telling me what I was supposed to do (as if that was not bloody obvious) and then the rest of the time I got started on the floor immediately as they were short staffed at the time. I work as a Cashier there, so I have to deal with the customer’s directly.
Some of the people that came though my line were really rude, and some really weird. One guy came in trying to pay with Monopoly money (fake money from a board game about being pieces of property, and trying to be the last to run out of money). Another customer came in wanting all his stuff for free claiming he had a rare disease in his leg’s, despite the fact he was tap dancing while in line. THEN a couple of little girls wearing fake mustaches and suit’s way too big for them came in wanting to buy alcohol…..
As if all THAT was not bad or weird enough, some guy came in trying to rob the store…..with a water gun……while wearing a barney suit (Barney is a character in a little kids show here)…and he wanted to steal some free newspaper’s that where on a little stand with a sign on them CLEARLY saying they were free of charge. We did not bother reporting him to the police as he technically did not steal anything, but we did call a psychiatric ward.
Anyway I managed to get through it, though I still have another day of work tomorrow. At least I only have to work 3 days a week, and luckily none of them are Weekends. Hey if I can survive this maybe I can save some money aside from my University fund to buy a Cellphone. At least THAT would make going through three days of hell worth it.

Dear Diary,
Today in school we had this thing called a Fire Drill. We never had such a thing at school back in Equestria, so I had quite the shock when the fire bell rang. It was really loud and it felt like the sound was vibrating deep in my skull. I almost thought those dreaded Sirens were back trying to take over again, but luckily Fluttershy set me straight.
Anyway as if the annoying Fire Bell blasting our eardrums was not bad enough, we then had to go stand outside for half an hour in the blazing heat, with nothing to do. After a while they finally turned off that wretched alarm, and told us we could all go back inside. Later I was told by Fluttershy that they made us go through drills like these to keep us safe. But I don’t really see how destroying our ears and making us roast outside is ever going to keep us safe from harm….
But all that aside it did get us out of algebra class (worst class ever next to P.E.) and the teacher did not bother given us any homework afterward either, so I guess the whole fire drill managed to do SOME good after all. I still think it’s just a petty annoyance we would be better without though.
…….Oh and since Flash won’t STOP BOTHERING ME OVER MY SHOULDER ABOUT IT, he says hi Twilight….
Today I took my written driver’s test. In this world we have these things called Automobiles or car’s, and people here use them to get everywhere. There supposed to be faster than trains, and way faster than just walking. However you apparently have to have this thing called a “Drivers License” or order to own or use one, and before you can get one of those you have to have a “Drivers Permit” too. Really kind of stupid if you ask me, but Rainbow Dash says the grueling test and long lines are well worth it in the end (She already got her Driver’s License, and has been bragging about it none stop for a week)….
Anyway I had to take a short driving class first before the test, which actually ended up being helpful as I still had all the answers fresh in my head by the time I took it. I managed to pass it with a 90%, I believe you need at least 80% to pass, otherwise you have to take it again some other day. The test seemed mostly about what to do if you come across a train track where a train is approaching. You think that would a bit redundant as everyone should know to stop and let the train pass, and not drive the car directly in front of it. But apparently they thought it needed to be drilled into us anyway.
So now that I have my permit I can now start learning how to drive. Sadly this means I have to (ugh) pay an instructor over the age of 21 as it’s illegal for anyone with just a permit to drive without a licensed driver 21 or over in the car with you… But again, my friends assure me it’s all worth it in the end. Maybe I can save some money aside from my college fund to by a brand new flashy car with flames on the side.
Today I went out for lunch to eat as was completely out of food (or rather a bunch of mice got to it before I could….) at a local taco bell, and you’ll never guess who I saw there. No, it’s not Sweetie Belle, it was one of the Dazzlings…..Ok actually Sweetie Belle was there as well, she’s ALWAYS there, sitting in the same booth, staring into space… The rest of us are starting to get concerned about it, but Rarity claims she is just resting her brain…
Anyways, back on topic. I saw the blue haired Dazzling sitting by herself in the back, I think her name is Sonata. I sat next to her and struck up a conversation. I remembered how my friends had helped me after my……well you know….and I figured I could try to do the same for her. I found out that after their defeat, Adagio (the one that looked like she had an orange mop on her head) and Aria had abandoned her and kicked her out of their apartment. She was luckily able to get her own apartment as she has her own set of income (apparently they all have been recycling bottles to earn money, and have made quite a lot by doing so, maybe I should try that too), but has been by herself ever since.
I asked her if she is still going to school. She said no as she was over a thousand and therefore did not feel like she needed too, and also because the only reason they had signed up in the first place was to find the Equestrian Magic they had sensed within the school and take it. I told her she should debate going back and trying to start a whole new life like I had. She was a bit reluctant as giving that fact that she never ages (something to do with the effect of her and her friends banishment), she feels she can never truly belong in this world. So I told her a bit more of my story, and how well I initially felt the same way after I was defeated, I learned to cope with the situation that was handed to me, and she agreed to let me help her.
Anyway I’d better stop now and call an exterminator, as the mice are trying to take off with my furniture now. I didn't know mice could lift a Television set….Or a Refrigerator. Hopefully someone will get here quickly before they try and take off with my whole Apartment as well. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Day 12
Dear Diary,
So today my friends and I tried a little experiment, with interesting and fun results. Recently we had a Science fair at school, and I invented this machine (using the magic of this book, similar to how you use your copy to force open the portal to this world and power it) that can take the energy of one object and put it into another, be it magical or not. The original idea for it was to actually take the magical power of some of my Enchanted Books, and put it into my Laptop’s internet connection to try and make it so that the internet connection can reach Equestria from here like I was taking about earlier.
Anyway Rainbow Dash had another idea to test it, and wanted me to transfer the Enchantment of one of my Power Ponies comics into one of her Power Rangers (this worlds version of Power Ponies I assume) video games, so we can go inside it and actually play as the characters. I originally was a bit reluctant, but after Rainbow, Pinkie, and Applejack kept pressing me, I eventually gave in. So we transferred the enchantment into the video game, and were able to be sucked directly into the game to play as the characters.
Rainbow Dash became the blue ranger, Applejack the green one, Pinkie the pink one, Fluttershy the yellow one, Rarity the black one, and I became the red one (Rainbow was not too happy about that, being she wanted to be red as that’s apparently the leader). Similar to what happens when you get sucked into a Power Ponies comic, we then had to beat the villain to get out. In this case some Lady Gaga wannabe named Rita Repula, and we were apparently working for a Wizard of Oz wannabe named Zordon. We had some super powers, but mostly relied on weapon and hand to hand combat to win, and at the end we had to fight using this giant robot called a megazord. I have to admit even though I was a bit hesitant to do this, I’m glad I did. It was loads of fun, and even Fluttershy and Rarity who were also hesitant to join us at first ended up enjoying themselves near the end.
I’m still trying to get the machine to be able to connect the internet connection from here to Equestria, but I’m still having issues trying to figure exactly how to get it to work. Mainly because I have no idea where in Equestria to set or send the connection to. But I’m sure I will figure it out someday, or at least I hope.
So today I went to Taco Bell for lunch again as the exterminators are currently removing pesky rodents from my apartment, and like usual Sweetie Belle is here too. However this time she is with Applebloom and Scootaloo, and now they have ALL taken up new levels of weird by going to everyone’s table and staring at them. Like seriously what the hay is wrong with all three of them?
Also a certain Flash has been asking me about when you are coming back…..Constantly…Every day. I swear he has been asking me once almost every hour during the last week. He even stopped by my apartment THREE times on Saturday to ask about you. By the third time I had finally had it and told him that constantly asking his Ex-Girlfriend about his new Girlfriend was way inappropriate and un-called for. Now he is no longer bothering me fortunately but un-fortunately for Rarity he has now taken to bothering her on an hourly basis daily. So hopefully you are going to be coming back soon, because I think she is about ready to slap him in the face. Especially after he woke her up a 3am last night to ask about you. Which was rather unfortunate as Rarity was having a romantic dream about her crush greeting her at the balcony (like that Romeo and Juliet scene), and then to wake up thinking it’s actually coming true only to realize it’s just Flash. She nearly threw a fit…or rather a boot or two… At him for it.
Anyway I’d better stop writing and go find Rarity and Applejack as their sisters are now staring at me. It’s even creeper as none of them have blinked since arriving at my table. Maybe though I can get them to start doing this to Flash all the time in pay back for him constantly bothering me. Day-14
Dear Diary,
“Princess Sunset Shimmer”, that is what almost EVERYONE has been jokingly referring to me as for the past week. You would think I would be happy about it, but I’m not. Mostly because I know it’s not a real title and there all doing it just to mock me.
Basically it started in History class where we were talking about The Medieval ages. We were going over some of the kings and queens and such, and then are teacher commented offhandedly about how he thought it was sad that America (that I/we live in) has never had any Kings or Queens or Princesses. Then of course Pinkie had to comment (or actually shout really) that he was wrong as Twilight and I were Princesses. I then tried to correct her saying I actually never made it to be a Princess, but that only made things worse as the rest of the class and soon the school started referring to me under the title of Princess to remind me of how much of a complete and utter fail I made of my life back in Equestria…..
Almost makes me want to go for Home coming queen again just out of spite, but that would probably only make them mock me even more. Let’s just say the whole lot of them are lucky I can’t do magic anymore or I’d have used good ole spell number 54 out of Celestia’s Spells for Gifted Unicorns (you know that one I’m talking about) on a few of them by now.
At least I still have my friends who aren't mocking me, even if it was one of them that accidentally started the whole thing. Oh and on a final note, you remember last time you were here, you asked the lunch lady if she could make strawberry milkshakes? Well she finally did. I didn't get to try mine very much though, as both Rarity and I dumped our shakes on Flash after he asked us both about you for the millionth time. Day-15
Dear Diary,
So today I finally get my Driver’s License, Hay to the Yea!!!!! I honestly thought I was going to fail it the first time as I had a little trouble during the practice sessions. But I made it. I only made one mistake the entire test which was apparently not looking in the rear view mirror while driving forward. But we are allowed to make 3 mistakes before failing, so I got it. For now I have a temporary paper license, but my real one will arrive in the mail.
Also as if this day could not get any better, we all went out to celebrate and the pizzeria we decided to eat in was having a raffle. We all entered and all of us won a car. A REAL FREAKING CAR!!!!! The cars were used but they were used in a T.V. series and a movie no less. I think Rainbow nearly died of joy when we found out the cars we won where actually the same ones used in Power Rangers Turbo for both the series and the film. She was a bit peeved when I ended up getting the red one, but she got the blue one which was alright with her as well. Fluttershy got the yellow one, Applejack the green one, and Pinkie Pie the pink one. Rarity was not with us, but she already has a car of her own, must be nice being rich.
We had tons of fun testing out the cars after we won them. We took them to an abandoned area downtown that used to serve as some kind of imprisonment camp back in WW2 as we could drive however fast we wanted to over there, and tore up the roads like crazy. Just like the name would imply these cars actually can go up to turbo speed, around 150 miles per hour, I think they could even do more if we pushed them. Sadly they cannot combine into a giant robot, but having a lightning fast car is still super cool.
Now if you will excuse me I have to go dump a bucket of ice water on Flash who is currently throwing pebbles at my window to ask when you are coming back. I’m seriously thinking about getting a restraining order on him, this is getting ridiculous….. On second thought, make that a bucket of ice toilet water as he just broke my window….
So today on the way back from work, i got stuck in traffic, and you would never guess the reason why. Apparently Sweetie Belle and her friends had reached a new level of weird, and decided to set up camp in the middle of the road with lawn chairs. So everyone had to carefully go around them so as not to run over them, and they were staring at us while we were trying to pass. Rarity and her friends had to eventually come over and drag them away before anyone got hurt, I've never seen Rarity or Applejack get so angry before.
Other then that, today has been pretty normal so far. I had to fix the window Flash broke previously (luckily he agreed to give me money to pay for it as he broke it), and again i was forced to leave the apartment while it was being worked on (mostly for my own sanity, as the noise the machines they were using to fix it made was horrendous.)
I did however notice a dog that looked exactly like Spike. He could not talk, but he came right up to me when i called out Spike, and liked my face. I'm wondering if maybe he is this world's Spike, and if so if there is a this world Twilight, and possibly me. I'm not sure how i would react to finding another version of myself here, or how she would react for that matter. Would she be like the old me? Or the new me? May have to try looking us up online to see if anything pop's up.
If i find anything, i will let you know immediately. For now however i have to go get another lunch as i just stuffed the burrito i was eating in Flash's mouth. I seriously need to get that restraining order on him.
Day-17
Dear Diary,
So today i looked up both my name and Twilight's name, and i did managed to find both of our names in there. Apparently THIS worlds Twilight is a genius who graduated High School after one year, and is currently already in College studying advanced Science. The dog i found apparently did belong to her and is of course named Spike (which is why he answered when i called him that name).
There is...or rather was, another Sunset Shimmer here as well. Apparently though, she died in a car crash a few years ago, two years prior to when i arrived here via the magic mirror. Her parent's were also killed in the accident, which would explain why i have not been able to find my humanized parent's here. The accident happened a few miles away in a separate town, which was why no one here recognized me when i first got here. I asked Pinkie about this though since she did seem to recognize you when you first got here, and she said she had been accidentally put into a higher education class in her first year for a bit, prior to other Twilight's early graduation. Thus why she thought she had seen you before.
It get's even MORE interesting. Just the other day i actually SAW the other Twilight walking around CHS. At first i thought it was you, until i saw the lab coat and messier hair, and recognized her from the photo i has seen on her FB page. Apparently she noticed a "Strange Phenomenon" happening at our school, and had come to investigate. I'm guessing she somehow detected Equestrian Magic from the last two "Incident's" at CHS. I did get a small chance to talk to her after she began questioning me and our friends "Apparently she had heard we where heavily involved in said accident's" about it. We decided to go ahead and tell her about what had actually happened in both incident's, but we did decide to leave out the part about the portal now being able to open at anytime.
She left shortly afterward, but i have a feeling that won't be the last we will see of her around here. So fair warning for the next time you come back, i won't be surprised if she bolts back here to question you in particular.
Day-18
Dear Diary,
Today The Rainbooms had another concert, this time at the park for the Annual Fall Festival. We played halfway through the festival after the big Pumpkin toss, and i even got to perform a solo this time. I've been practicing my guitar playing and singing with Rainbow Dash, and she let me actually do a solo one this time. We where doing a mix of Modernized folk songs and modern rock, and i did my own version of Scarborough Fair. I think i did fairly well, even if i was nervous and may have missed a few guitar notes. Luckily the others where backing me up on guitar, so i don't think anyone noticed.
As well as performing a concert we also had fun enjoying the activities around the festival as well. We each tried the Pumpkin toss, which Applejack of course beat us all at, the Pumpkin eating contest, Pinkie won that one of course, and even a race, which ended up being a tie between Applejack and Rainbow. There were even fireworks at the end of the Festival. I'm not exactly sure, but i swear some of them where made to represent the elements of harmony, as they had a strange resemblance to humans bearing pony ears and tails. Could have been just my imagination though.
Anyway, i have not seen or heard from "Other Twilight" since i last wrote. Maybe she has learned to mind her own business? Or maybe she is trying to invent a time machine to figure the age old question of whether dinosaurs were cold or warm blooded. As if the answer isn't obvious enough that it's both, i don't know why everyone is being so stupid about that.
Speaking of stupid, i'm gonna have to close this now and go dump some trash on Flash as he is currently bugging me over my shoulder again. I think i see a perfect one full of honey, and next to a bees nest that should teach him to "Mind his own Bees-wax" as the saying goes.
Today I took a trip with Fluttershy and Rarity to visit the local Zoo. There were so many interesting and diverse animals in there, some similar to ones we have in Equestria, and others not so much. Many of the exhibit’s where unfortunately closed off due to damage from a recent earthquake (luckily none of the animals where hurt) but we did still get to see the monkeys, lions, birds, some reptiles, and of course ponies.
I've already stated before about how the ponies and horses in the world are much different than how we are in Equestria, but it never ceases to amaze me every time I come across one. Nor does it seem to cease amazing anyone nearby when I try to talk to them, forgetting they can’t understand me. We got to feed some of them though, they eat oats and hay like we do in Equestria, but sadly they cannot have Ice Cream, Cake, or Doughnut’s. The zoo keeper gave me a weird look when I asked if I could give them some of my ice cream cone.
Anyway I had better close for now as I need to call an ambulance for Flash after pushing him out my window…While technically he was already outside it on a ladder when I pushed him, which I thought for was romantic at first until he asked me when you were coming back, then it just became annoying. I guess I should not have pushed him, but in my defense if he had just stayed on the latter rather than jumping off it when I pushed it, he would have fallen into the pool and been perfectly fine. Instead he jumped off it….right on top of poor old Mrs. Jenkins. Maybe I should call the police too as Mrs. Jenkins is currently chasing him with a stick, not much of a chase though as they are both limping.
Day-20
Dear Diary
So You know how I mentioned in a previous entry how Sweetie Belle and her friends had reached a whole new level of weird? Well they just surpassed it…..AGAIN!!! THIS time they pretended to be zombies invading the school, and even went as far as barging into classrooms and pretending to eat the brains of students. Luckily Principle Celestia eventually hauled them all in her office and from what I hear suspended them for three weeks. No idea what the hay is wrong with those three, but I think they all may need some SERIOUS psychiatric help. POST HASTE!!!!
Oh yea and Flash says hi once again, or rather he would be had I not shoved him in my locker after he kept trying to read my Diary Entry here over my shoulder. I think I will leave him in there till tomorrow (or when the janitor finds him, he can let him out). And if he gets hungry he can eat the five month old tuna sandwich I keep forgetting to throw out in there.
Day-21
Dear Diary
So today is my Birthday, and guess where I spent it? At school taking a stupid math test…. What the hell do they make us go to school and take some dumb test on our Birthdays? Should there not be a law allowing us the day off to celebrate the day we were birthed out of our mother’s back ends if it falls on a school day? To top it off I even failed the test miserably. I got scored five out of twenty five possible points. The teacher got really mad at me for my score but as I told her how does anyone expect me to be able to concentrate on this useless propaganda on my BIRTHDAY of all days?
Anyway at least Pinkie Pie and the others helped me celebrate my Birthday later on at Sugarcube Corner with a chocolate cake and some presents. The best one by far was the tickets to see the Wondercolt’s show from Rainbow Dash, I’ve been wanting to see theme live for a while, but never had the money.
Anyway I’d better end this entry here and get some sleep, as I have to go back to school again tomorrow and have yet another day of being yelled at, probably this time just for the mere fact that I exist. Maybe I’ll dump Flash in the trash to help me feel better, his pain always makes me happy for some reason.
Today Rainbow Dash and I went to a Sci-fi convention, which is where fans of sci-fi shows which deal with stories set in space go to dress up as their favorite Sci-fi characters and meet up with other nerds. RD went dressed as Han Solo and I went dressed as Captain Kirk since we thought it would be hilarious going dressed as male characters. Rarity was a bit perplexed when we asked her to make our costumes and seemed to think we had lost our minds, sometimes I think she takes things too seriously.
Anyway we arrived and got autographs from some of our favorite actors and actresses, and bought some posters and collectibles to bring back with us. Rainbow bought the most stuff totaling at around 5 giant bags full of merchandise, no idea where she got the money for it all as she is unemployed and all. The most fun part of it all though was meeting William Shatner who played Kirk in the old Star Trek film and having him complement me on my costume, he even signed my sleeve, of course now I can never wash this thing for fear of it running off in the washing machine.
Oh and of course Flash was there as well dressed up as Darth Vader. He of course kept pestering me during the course of the convention. That is until I gave him a trick sardine and liver sandwich filled with jalapenos and Buffalo sauce. He retreated off quickly doing a funny little jig and I did not see his ugly face the rest of the day.
Well I’d better end this here as I have homework to catch up on. I also need to prepare a bucket of cold water for when Flash does his nightly routine of throwing pebbles at my window. What does he think he is? Romeo or something. This time I’ve added some fresh life angry crabs to the bucket, that should give him the picture….I hope.
Day-23
Dear Diary,
VACATION!!!!!!!!!!!! That's right it's Summer vacation for me, and i am sooo relieved to be done with school for the summer. Spent the afternoon celebrating at Sugarcube corner with my friends. Having a near full three month of no responsibility is like one of the best things ever!!! Well at least almost no responsibility as i have a summer job, but it get's me money to do fun stuff with my friends over the break.
Flash nearly ruined my euphoria of freedom by pestering me again, once again constantly asking me "Where's Twilight? Where's Twilight? What is Twilight up to?, yada, yada, yada". He kept following me around when i tried to walk away, but luckily he did not get far as he got hit by the pizza delivery boy. I gotta remember to give him a big tip next i see him for that.
Anyway gotta run, having a sleep over at Pinkie's again and we are watching that new Jurassic movie that just came out. Been wanting to see it for weeks now, hope poor Flutter's does not get to frightened by it though.
Day-24
Dear Diary
Sorry for not writing in you for so long, but i recently sprained my thumb which made writing or anything involving using a pen or pencil practically impossible. Too add insult to injury i also recently got some money to buy some games which i was going to use this past weekend, put since i could not use a controller i had to wait till next weekend.
Other then that annoying mishap things have actually been quite dull as of late. School is out and it's been raining almost all week, leaving hardly anything to do but sit home and play games (OR AT LEAST WISH I COULD IN MY CASE!!!), or watch T.V. Almost makes me wish some other demon from Equestria would rise up so the girls and i could defeat them, but i know i should not wish for something like that to happen.
Anyway i had better stop writing for now and go call an ambulance for Flash as i just pushed him off his ladder outside my bedroom window. Or maybe i will play dub step music (his least favorite kind) at loud volume so he has no choice but to hear it and wait for someone else to find his dumbass and call for help. I do still have an injured thumb after all.

Do you know what the definition of stupidity is? Well I’ll tell you what the definition of stupidity is! It’s making students write a FREAKING ONE THOUASAND WORD ESSAY OVER SPRING BREAK!!!! Double spaced, at least twenty pages, and it has to be hand written……I’ll let that sink in for a minute….ONE THOUSAND HAND WRITTEN WORDS ON PAPER OVER WHAT’S SUPPOSE TO BE ONE OF THE HAPPIEST WEEKS IN STUDENT LIFE!!!!
To say I’m peeved would be an understatement greater then Scootaloo loves Rainbow Dash. Seriously, that kid has issues. But anyway at least Rarity got us tickets to see the new War Stars film this weekend. I’m a massive Sci-Fi fan as is Rainbow and Twilight. I’m surprised Rarity wants to see the film though, movies or T.V. shows about fighting and violence typically aren’t her style. Although I guess it does have a bit of romance throughout the series, including one of the main characters making out with his twin sister………...I mean SERIOUSLY???? Ok in their defense neither of them had any idea at the time they were siblings, but the director/writer certainly knew so seriously what the hell??!
“Oh and thanks to Twilight I managed to bag myself this awesome keyboard for my computer. Her dad works at an electronics shop so she and her friends get discounts. This thing light’s up which looks super cool when I’m playing at night in the dark, it’s wireless which means I don’t have to plug it in and therefore can play with it from anywhere in my room, AND it came with a wireless control stick that works similarly to an X-Box controller. I’m gonna have sooo much fun playing games on it……. WHEN I’M NOT WRITING SOME STUPID WORTHLESS ESSAY FOR MY GOOD FOR NOTHING ENGLISH TEACHER!!!! She seriously needs to get herself a Boyfriend! The reason she’s doing this is probably because she’s angry nobody likes her. Also PMS probably.
Speaking of boyfriends my EX boyfriend Flash has been bugging me relentlessly about going with him to the Spring Fling Dance. Just because I said I wanted to start over as FRIENDS does not mean I actually want to date you again Flash!!! You would think he would get it after the twentieth rejection. Maybe running him over with my mom’s Ford Focus would hammer it in to his thick skull!!!
Anyway I’d better get back to writing that stupid essay. Maybe I’ll borrow some itching powder from Pinkie Pie and sprinkle it all over my essay before handing it in. Might make for a good laugh or two next class.
