Three friends just got to Ponyville trying to live their new lives with some twist and turns in their life time.
A trio of friends had to moved to Ponyville because of their sky-lords, needing the room for a richer customer. The three friends also has there own problems,and one of them is not knowing their real name. The three friends can also find plenty of problems though out their friendship in Ponyville, and only a fast and loyal friend can help. The sun was up high and one pegasus was getting bully. "Take that you no name" said the brown pegasus that was kicking him.
"You parents left you because they don't love you" said another pegasus but this time punching him instead.
"Yeah you no life" said the last pegasus but this time stealing his stuff.
Well there goes all my things he thought to himself but something seems to be different about today,and he couldn't put his hoof on it. He usually get bully, they usually take his stuff, what was different about today? In a few minutes, his only friends actually came by and did something they never done.
"HEY! stop picking on, Loyalty you bullies" said a white mane pegasus, pushing one of the bullies.
"Yeah pick on somepony you size" said a red mane pegasus and actually punching the one who was stealing Loyalty stuff.
"Let's get out of here" said the untouched bully and soon they left.
"Thanks, never I thought to see the day, that you two actually help me" Loyalty said. He soon realize that his friends did help. "Well we're not as loyal as you" said the white mane pegasus.
"Yeah it finally took the day to find out their were total babies" the other friend added.
"Yeah... hey, Jet why do you have my stuff from your place. You not kicking me out are you?" Loyalty asked worrying to the white mane pegasus.
"No but we did get kick out from our sky-lord" Jet said, tossing his stuff to him.
"Really did you do something, Cosmic?" he asked the red mane pegasus.
"No we had to give up our place because of rich pegasus wanting to live here" he said helping Loyalty to get up.
"Their rich why do they have to take our pad?"
"Because, Loyalty their child wants to know the normal life of a pegasus" Jet answer brushing of the dust of him.
"What are we going to do now?"
"The sky-lord had to pay us and the only place I found the cheapest was Ponyville" Cosmic answered.
"I guess it's for the best. It's not like we're going to get bullied anymore and I guess sticking to the ground is the best at least for you, Jet" he said pointing to his mental wings.
Jet never like how his feathers just came off and soon after his wings couldn't even hold him, luckily somepony donated those mental wings so he could at least glide. "Yeah I guess your right at least were stopped being called the trio of freaks" Jet said with a chuckle.
"Yeah there's the no name, mental wings,and soulless wings" Loyalty said.
"I still don't get why I'm called soulless wings?" Cosmic asked.
"Probably because you would fight anypony and you wouldn't give them a handicap" Loyalty laughed as he said.
"Not my fault they asked to fight me" and soon after he said that, all three of them burst into laughing.
"C'mon let's get gliding to Ponyville, I don't want to get stuck in the air currents again when you fell" Loyalty nudge to Jet.
"Yeah let's" Cosmic said running to the edge of Cloudestale.
"Hey wait up for us" Loyalty tried to say to him and soon after they jump and headed into a free fall.
As they started to glide, they went into their usually gliding positions. Jet at first being the heaviest, than there was Cosmic being in the middle from second fastest, and Loyalty being the fastest at the back seeing incoming things can could almost pull off a sonic rainboom. They found this formation to be the best because of Jet being on the top lead them into the ground and getting him back up was the annoying part. Cosmic was a pretty good flier, he could catch Jet if falls and if he couldn't it would be Loyalty. He could see incoming problems that hides in Jet's and Cosmic's blind spots. "Hey guys a thunder cloud is to you right" Loyalty warned the others.
"I deal with it" Cosmic said, heading toward the thunder cloud.
"Jet move away from the cloud" Loyalty ordered.
"Yeah I know, stray thunder could easily aim at me" Jet said moving away from Cosmic.
As Cosmic broke the thunder cloud, a stray bolt hit a another stray cloud that surrounded Jet, and one by one the clouds became thunder clouds. Jet was soon struck by lighting and started to fall. "JET! COSMIC HEAD FOR THE BOTTOM I'LL CHASE HIM THOUGH THE THUNDER STORM!" Loyalty shouted to Cosmic.
Cosmic headed below the thunder storm knowing full well he could lose Loyalty as well if he gets struck by lighting, but Cosmic knows Loyalty would never abandon a friend unless he can't help it.
Loyalty was dodging many lighting strikes, nearing close to his own death. Loyalty soon grab a mental wing which was a mistake sort-of. He cut himself but his blood was used to block of the electricity trying to get to him from his friend. He wanted to think how this was to possible but a lighting strike reminded him that it isn't important.
He soon got out the very long thunder storm and saw Cosmic in his electricity-proof suit. Loyalty dropped Jet into Cosmic's hoofs and grab some bandages for his hoofs and soon steel wool. Cosmic also grab some steel wool and soon both of them were rubbing the wools on Jet to remove the electricity. They both didn't know if this work at all but after they believe that the electricity was gone, they made Jet drink a heath potion he brew just in case of emergency. Jet soon woke up.
"That was a shocking experiences" he said grinning, while his friends groaned at his pun.
"You just couldn't help yourself even in the face of death" Cosmic said smacking him a bit.
"Yeah but thanks anyways" Jet said.
"C'mon let's head to Ponyville now I want to eat something there so I don't have to eat any of our food that we have on us now" Loyalty said.
"Sure let's go" Cosmic said as the three friends head to Ponyville.
"Hey were almost there guys, I could see a building" Loyalty said happily. The other two only nodded, they didn't seem to please that they lost their home to a rich pegasus. The only thing lucky for them was that Jet already contact the mayor about moving in and she even got a building the just enough to live in. Two room, one living room, one kitchen, and a bathroom. They didn't talk much to each other until they made it to town hall. Once they got there the mayor was there and she was happily show them their new house. Once they made it to their house, they found it surprising to see almost everypony from Ponyville to show up. Jet did asked the mayor what was going on and she replied with your welcome party, which only confused the trio. Each of them had their own idea of what they wanted to do for now. Cosmic just wanted to go have some fun, while Jet wanted to see the layout of the building. As for Loyalty, he wanted to know the ponies names, he completely forgot about his hunger.
It took some time but sooner or later the trio somehow found each other. They all had a good time until the rest elements of harmony came to the welcome party. They were surprise that the elements actually came, they figure they had were busy even though none of them actually meant them, Jet always knows when special ponies are present.
"Welcome to Ponyville, I'm am princess Twilight but you have to say princess" the purple alicorn said.
"Howdy I'm Applejack" the orange earth pony said.
"Why hello to you three and welcome to Ponyville, I'm Rarity" the white unicorn said.
"I'm uhh Fluttershy" the yellow pegasus said.
"I'm Pinkie and it was my idea to throw you the welcome party" the bouncy pink earth pony said.
"And I'm Rainbow Dash the most awesomest pegasus there is" the rainbow mane pegasus said.
"And this is Spike my number one assistant"she pointed a hoof to the purple baby dragon. "We would have been here earlier but we had some problems getting here, and you are?"
"I'm Cosmic Striker" Cosmic said briefly.
"I'm Jet Steam, it's a honer to meet you" Jet said keeping a safe distance from the princess. She been eyeing on his wings for a while.
Loyalty didn't speak because he knew he was going to get laughed at.
"I'm sorry but I didn't get your other friend's name" Twilight said.
Jet and Cosmic just looked at him telling man up. Loyalty signed and speak up "I'm Loyalty" and soon after he said that a burst of laughter came, leaving him hiding behind his friends.
"That was a nice joke but seriously what is you name?" Twilight said, still recovering from the supposed joke.
"Sorry to rain on you parade, Twilight but his name is actually Loyalty" Cosmic said, standing up and putting a little fear into the ponies that are still laughing.
"You kidding right?"
"No, Twilight we aren't kidding he goes by loyalty because he doesn't actually have a really name" Jet said.
"But didn't your parents or guardians provide you a actual name."
"No I was abandon as a baby and I never got a real name since than" Loyalty said.
"Yeah we only called him Loyalty because he's, well loyal" Jet said.
"Yeah you be surprise own what he does for his only friends" Cosmic added.
"C'mon let's here some than" Rainbow said, causing a lot of ponies to agree with her.
"Well I always stick up to my friends even though I get beat up after that."
"What kinda pegasus would do a thing" Rarity gasped in horror.
"Well what did you expected for a nameless pegasus, a mental wings pegsus, and a cosmic black wings pegsus. We were called the Trio of Freaks for being different" Jet said.
"Said why are your wings mental anyways if you don't mind me asking?" Twilight asked.
"My feathers just came off when I was like her aged-" Jet pointed to a orange filly which made her panic a bit "-and somepony donated these mental wings so I could at least glide."
"I was born like this" Cosmic said.
"That seems to be awful the way they treated you guys" Rarity soon notice Loyalty hoofed was wrapped in bandages. "My did those bullies did that to you hoof, Loyalty?" She pointed to Loyalty's hoof.
"Oh this. No I cut myself by holding on to Jet's wings, I can't some times forget how sharp those wings have to be" Loyalty chuckle as he said that.
"Why in Equestria would you want to hold his wings, no offence, Jet" Twilight said loudly.
"None taken" Jet said.
"I just had to make sure that Cosmic was under the thunder clouds ready to catch him" Loyalty answered her.
"Thunder clouds? why the hey would you even go close to one?" Rainbow asked.
"We didn't plan that a stray bolt of thunder could connect to the other clouds and instantly turning them into thunder clouds" Cosmic said.
"Yeah there was just one thunder cloud and just before we know it, Jet was surrounded by thunder clouds. I had to dive down to slow, Jet down so, Cosmic could catch him" Loyalty said.
"So you risk you life for one of your friends?" Twilight asked.
"Well wouldn't you do the same if one of your friends were in trouble?"
"Yeah of course but aren't you worry about your own life?"
"Not really these two-" Loyalty grabbing both Cosmic and Jet "-Is all my friends. You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us, but usually, I'm the one to get beat up" Loyalty said happily, which creep out some ponies including his friends.
"So is that why they call you Loyalty your always loyal?"
"Yeah pretty much" Cosmic said.
"You could almost say he could be the element of loyalty if it wasn't that your Rainbow friend over there" Jet said while pointing at Rainbow Dash.
"You know I'm the element of loyalty?" Rainbow said in confusion.
"Of course we know that your the element of loyalty you got to show up like nine times in the new, right guys" Jet said.
"I'd never looked at the news" Loyalty said.
"Me neither" Cosmic added.
"Seriously guys you never look at the news once" Jet said.
"Nope" They both said.
Jet signed "Is there anything else we could do for you?"
"No so let's enjoy the party" Rainbow said.
The party went on for while, they were lucky that they got somepony to move there stuff here but all three knew they got to rearrange things. Jet was reading a book which caught Twilight's attention and lead her on a giant lectures on things that would bored most ponies but not Jet. Cosmic acted all cool like for the mares, which only in Loyalty head was "Show off". Loyalty had some swee ts that was given but he never like staying indoors so he snuck out too do some tricks.
After the party the only ponies that stay were Twilight, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash. Twilight checking out Jet's wings, Applejack was having a hoof-wrestle with Cosmic and Rainbow was drinking all the cider that Applejack brought. Once she finish she notice some movements coming outside and went to check it out. Once she step out and took a few steps in the backyard, Loyalty crashed into her.
"Ops... sorry Rainbow, I didn't see you there. I thought you probably left already" Loyalty said, helping her up.
"I was going too but I saw something threw your window and wanted to check it out but I see it was you. How long were you out?" Rainbow asked.
"Most of the party."
"Why?"
"I was practicing the sonic rainboom."
"You could do the sonic rainboom" Rainbow said in disbelief
"No but-" Loyalty suddenly lost consciousness.
"Hey Loyalty you ok?" she asked the unconscious pegasus. "Dude you ok?" she asked again after a few minutes. She soon saw behind him was mini creators and soon start to panic. She picked up Loyalty and rushing into the house yelling for Cosmic and Jet.
"What's with all the shouting you ruin a-" Cosmic stopped after seeing Loyalty was unconscious. He pick up Loyalty and set him on the couch.
"Now, Sugarcube shouldn't you place him on a bed?" Applejack asked.
"The couch is actually more comfortable then the beds and besides Loyalty does sleep in beds" Jet said as he came in with Twilight.
"Really, why is that?" Twilight asked.
"Loyalty never slept in a bed before so he believe that it's the most comfortable thing so he let others sleep in it, to show that he cares for his friends" Cosmic said.
"Oh."
"So what happen?" Jet asked.
"I went into your guys backyard because I saw something. It turns out it was just Loyalty. I asked him what was going on and he soon fainted on me and when I look behind him there was a lot of small creators" Rainbow explained.
"That's it?" Jet said very calmly.
"Yeah why?"
"Loyalty was probably trying to do the sonic rainboom and fail at it a bunch of time, those creators you saw was probably him crashing into the ground" Jet answered.
"How are you so calm with your best friend is unconscious?" Twilight said.
"He been trying do that trick so many times, that I even lost count on how many he crashed. Do you remember Cosmic?"
"Wasn't it around one hundred."
"ONE HUNDRED TIMES?!" shouted the three mares.
"No I thought it was around one thousand."
"ONE THOUSAND TIME?!" shouted the three mares again.
"Can you please stop shouting your already hurting my ears" Jet complained.
"Sorry about that but he should be died if he crash into the ground that many time and you just let him crash that many times" Twilight said questioning their friendship towards Loyalty.
"He's might not be strong but his can sure take a hit" Cosmic said.
"Yeah he crash into things that is more harder then the ground, so he be fine. I honest think he drank so many of my health potions, he can't die because of it, but it's very unlikely" Jet said.
"So how does he do it?"
"I don't know" both of them said.
"Trust me all he need is a few minutes of rest and he been up and ready" Jet said.
"Ok then we been on our away than" Twilight said and soon leaves with Applejack and Rainbow Dash.
"Finally they're gone let's start moving things around" Jet said.
"Thought you never asked" Cosmic said and soon they moved almost everything around the house, leaving them died tired for the days end.
The next morning, Loyalty was up and already started making breakfast. It took a while to figure where everything was because he knew that Cosmic and Jet move things around last night when he was unconscious. Once the other two got up breakfast was ready. Three daisy sandwiches with three apples. "Moring guys" he said.
"Seriously, how to you get up before us, you were even unconscious?" Cosmic said.
"Uhhh magic" he said making a big smile.
"Ha ha very funny."
"Hey would you rather have me cook because you know I'm usually up before you" Jet said chuckling.
"I thought we all agree to never let you near the kitchen."
Then three friensd all shared a small laugh and went to eat their breakfast. Once they finish they had a small discussion on what they were planning to do for today.
"I guessing we should look for some jobs to do" Jet said.
"Do we need to hand in anything I tired oh handing in a empty sheet a paper" Loyalty said, leaving the other two to chuckler a bit.
"No don't worry about that I think asking is enough to get you a part time job."
"Yeah this isn't Cloudsdale this place is a lot nicer than I expected" Cosmic said.
"Not unless they asked you to fight then they start to be jerks" Loyalty said leaving all three to laugh a bit.
"Well those jobs aren't going to come by us let's get going" Jet said.
After he said that somepony was knotting on the door and Cosmic went to answer it. He open the door and found Applejack "Hello."
"Howdy, Cosmic I was just thinking that zap apple season is about to start and we kind of need some help since, Big Mac hurt himself so I was wondering if you want to help, and of course we pay yeah" Applejack said.
"Sure" and as soon he said that, Applejack grabbed him and carried him all the way to Sweet Apple Acres.
"So much for jobs that are not coming to us" Loyalty said.
"Well if one of us already got a job, it means we don't have to look for a job just yet" Jet said.
"Yeah but I still going too" and after he said that the ran out the house, looking for a job.
Jet sighed "I guessed I looked for a job as well" he said to himself and went out.
Loyalty went around the town getting used to his surroundings before he search for a job. Once he was done his little project, he decided to tried Sugarcube Corner.
"Excuses me but can I have a part-time job" He asked Ms. Cake.
"Hey aren't you one of the new ponies that moved in?" she asked.
"Yeah, I guessing you didn't go."
"Sorry about that but I couldn't get a babysitter so I had to watch them with Mr. Cake."
"Makes sense to worry about your foals don't wanted anything bad to happen to them."
"Uh what are you implying uhh-."
"Loyalty and I'm not trying to imply anything it just a harsh life out there, well a least Ponyville is nice."
"Well uhh are you sure your name is Loyalty?"
"Looks like your the one who's trying to imply something now."
"Oh dear I'm sorry if that offended you but I never heard such a uh unique name."
"It's ok it's just the name I go by because I never got a real name. When I was saying it was a harsh life is because I get bullied a lot and I was hoping that your foals would be ok when they grow up and not get bully."
"Oh that very mind of you to care but don't worry Ponyville is a nice place, I won't worried to much. So what was the thing you wanted to asked, oh I can't remember."
"Don't worry about I'm pretty sure you got enough things to think I just be on my way."
"Oh ok then see ya."
Loyalty left heading to different places to get a part-time job. It took a long time to tried and find a part-time that he almost felt like going door to door and just doing small favors. He gave up and just walked around for a while. After a while a grey mare crashed into him. After the tumbling Loyalty couldn't see anything. He thought he was unconscious for moment, but he realize he could still think. He couldn't really do much so he tried to lifted his head up, but was stopped and soon he heard "Ah, you perv" and soon after he got a hoof-slap to the face.
"Owww" Loyalty wined. "I didn't do anything wrong."
"Ahh yeah you got close to my hind side" the grey mare said while getting off him.
"I didn't mean to, I just couldn't see anything so I try to move my head out of the way, by the way who are?"
"I guess your right and also I did crash into you but anyways I'm Derpy"
"Hi Derpy, I'm Loyalty"
"What kind of a name is Loyalty?"
"What kind of a name is Derpy?"
"It just a nickname the others give me, my really name is Ditzy Doo."
"Others, who this others you speak of?"
"Oh you know does people with their magic devices."
Loyalty back up a bit, probably from the word people. "Ok than well I got to go so bye than."
Loyalty tried to leave but Derpy interrupt him. "Now hold on I said my real name it's only fair if you tell me your real name because I know for the fact that there was never a Loyalty for a real name, I should know I'm am a mail mare."
"I don't have a real name I go by Loyalty though my friends, if ponies wanted to send something to me it would be though my friends, but it's not like anypony would send it to me anyways."
"Now I feel kind of bad because I remember seeing mail that was label to no name but my boss thought it was just a mistake and threw it away."
"It' fine, it's probably somepony trying to send hurtful things to me."
"Yeah but we still have a job to do and maybe those letters weren't hurtful comments maybe it was a nice letter."
"I doubt it and besides it's all in the past now, nothing can be done now."
"I guess your right... Oh I know how about we get you into the mail pegasus job you could get your own mail and help deliver some as well, oh come on lets go" Derpy said grabbing Loyalty and dragging him to the post office.
"I guess I have no choice yeah" Loyalty said and sign.
Applejack was dragging Cosmic all the way to Sweet Apples Acres. Cosmic didn't what to said anything, due to the fact he would be sucking up dust like a vacuum if he dare to open his mouth. He pry to Celestia that the trip didn't take any longer because if it did he felt like his wings would come off of him. He soon thought this was Applejack plan to strip him of his wings so he become an earth pony, but he just chuckle at the thought. Applejack stopped running when they got to Sweet Apples Acres, Cosmic went flying by the sudden stop. "Ops I better check to see if he's alright" she said to herself and then headed where he was falling.
Cosmic was sent flying and soon he crash landed into a tree house. "Arg what happen?" before he could get an answer three fillies started screaming.
"THERE AN INTRUDER WHAT DO WE DO!" the white unicorn filly yelled.
"APPLEJACK HELP!" the yellow earth filly yelled.
"WE NEED TO DEFEND THE HIDEOUT" the orange pegasus filly yelled.
Once Cosmic got up off the floor the three fillies scream "CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS HIDEOUT DEFENCERS YAY!!!" and charge at Cosmic. He barely got enough time to react on what's going on but he made a clear head that the three fillies are attacking him. Soon he got up and just whack them with his wings.
"What in the darn nation is going on in here" Applejack said as she burst into the room. The place was a mess and Cosmic pointed at the CMC while they pointed at him. Applejack groaned "Looked Applebloom we don't that much time until zap apple season start. This is Cosmic Striker and he's going to work he for a while ok?"
"Oh ok sis sorry about that I we mess up" Applebloom said hanging her head down with the other two.
"It's ok, it's kind of my fault for crashing into your tree house I could have avoided it but I didn't, and I'm sorry."
"Good looks like you two made up now come along, Cosmic zap apple season started and we got to harvest them before there gone, you know how to apple buck right?" Cosmic nodded and they head out leaving the CMC alone.
"Well it look like we have to clean up c'mon you gals let's get cleaning" Applebloom said.
"Do we have to?" the orange pegasus asked?
"Oh coursed we have to, Scootaloo , right Sweetie Belle."
"Yeah come on we could always get our cleaning cutie mark" Sweetie Belle said.
"CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS CLEANERS!" the three friends yelled happily.
Jet roam around town trying to figure out a job. He couldn't really think of anything. A chef is already out of the question and fashion isn't his thing, especially since his wings could ruined any master pierce. He became frustrated and decided to give up and head to the library to read. As he enter the library, he notice how messes the inside of the tree was. Books and scroll were litter everywhere. "Uhhh hello is anypony home?" he said but got no response. He decided to clean up the place, but before he did he notice a giant hole on the ceiling. He question how he didn't even notice until now and what cause that hole. He example the sides to of the hole to find it had black scorch marks so there was a explosion, but there was one key detail he's was over lapping. How didn't he hear it. A hole that big, should have made a loud boom, but then again how is this building still standing if there was a explosion that big. He decide to stop thinking about it and just clean the darn place so he can read. It took a while to finish but he did what he could and got the place clean. He decided to read where the sunlight was coming though the ceiling. As he settle down the front door of the library went open. Twilight and Spike came in a panic, but found it surprising when the library somewhat clean. Twilight look around and saw Jet reading in the sunlight.
"Hey, Jet how's it going?" Twilight asked nervously.
"Twilight care to explain" he said as he pointed upwards toward the hole in the ceiling.
"That was always there."
"You always keep a giant hole in the ceiling."
"Yep now can you uhh get out I need to uhh reorganize the books right, Spike"
"Uhh yeah."
"You do are sounding weird like you just did something bad" after he said that a shadowy figure appeared behind him. Once the figure appeared it got a temporary blindness from Jet's metal wing reflecting sunlight. The figure move backwards causing the ground to shake which made Jet turn back to see a owl-like creature behind him. "Explain" he said while getting up.
"Well you see I cast the wrong spell, and Owlowiscious was in the way, and I kind of turn him into a monster, but do worry I have a plan" Twilight said.
"I pretty sure your plan has a giant hole in it" Jet said dodging Owlowiscious peck.
"How could you make puns at a time like" Twilight said looking though a bunch of books for a spell.
"Any day any owls I can make puns."
"Stop with the puns please" Twilight wined.
"Fix it and owl think about it" Twilight just groaned at that pun. Dodging Owlowiscious wasn't easy because of the cramped area and soon a book was threw into Jet. "Mmmm...-" Jet went to Twilight "-use this spell trust me."
Twilight looked at the spell she was given. "Why to need a throwing up spell. Jet?"
"Just casted it on, Owlowiscious trust me" and soon she casted it and Owlowiscious threw up.
"Ewww gross" Spike complained after being incased in barf.
Owlowiscious return to normal, but there was still the little virus that control him. "Now my chance" Jet said walking into the sunlight. He used his wings to reflect sunlight onto the virus, vaporizing it. "Well that was a puking experience" he said with a grin as they all clean the library.
"We're here Loyalty" as she turned to look at Loyalty, she can't stop laughing. Loyalty mouth was full of dirt. "Loyalty you know your not supposed to eat dirt."
Loyalty spat out the dirt. "Well you not supposed to dragged a pony for so long they fall asleep."
"Sorry I got lost, but you could have help."
"Yeah I could, but no you wanted to drag me instead."
"Well uhh whatever let's just head inside" she said bringing Loyalty inside of the building.
"So this is what a post office looks like. I always thought it would be more like a factory but it somewhat looks simple."
"Well this isn't like a rainbow factory it's completely different."
"DERPY! DID YOU FINISH YOUR ROUTE AND WHO'S THIS PONY?" A pegasus shouted at her.
"Yes and you know the mail we get that was to send to a pony with no name" Derpy said normally like if the other pegasus was trying to be intimidating .
"YEAH WHAT ABOUT IT?"
"Well this is the pony who should have gotten the mail because, Loyalty has no name" Derpy said causing Loyalty to give himself a face-hoof.

"I know and our duty is to always to deliver mail but we fail so I kind of got a idea of making him a mail pony so he can get some his mail and help others as well."
"I do need a job" Loyalty pointed out.
"I DON'T KNOW, WE JUST CAN'T HIRE ANYPONY TO DELIVER MAIL AND WE ALREADY HAVE ENOUGH PONIES!"
"You never what would happen it's always good to prepare for the unexpected right?"
"FINE, BUT I NEED TO LET ONE PONY GO SO WERE GOING TO HAVE A RACE FOR ALL EMPLOYEES, THE SLOWEST ONE IS FIRE! BE AT TOWN HALL AT FOUR AM. I WILL NOW TELL THE OTHER EMPLOYEES, SO YOU PONIES BETTER PREPARE!" he said and soon leaves.
"Did you prepare for that, Derpy?"
"No" she said sadly.
In Sweet Apple Acres the zap apple harvest was happing better then before. With Cosmic moving faster then Big Mac if he was harvesting but all he did was bringing the baskets in and out. Applejack told him to rest but he kind of stubborn pony, but really he just looking out for Applejack and making sure Cosmic doesn't have any ideas.
"Thanks again for your help again, Sugarcube. We sure are thankful for your help aren't we, Big Mac?"
"Err yup" Big Mac said.
"It was no problem at all. I needed a job anyways to provide for my friends and besides it's a good workout" Cosmic said, while bringing in a lot of cart full baskets fill with zap apples.
"You sure like to work out, Cosmic" Applebloom said.
"That's what my cutie mark is for."
"Really? I thought it meant your good at setting fires."
"Applebloom don't be rude" Applejack scolded Applebloom.
"It's quite alright, other ponies usually think that as well" Cosmic said as he chuckle.
"Really how many ponies told you that?" Applebloom asked.
"It depends on how many ponies actual comes up to freak like me and asked about my cutie mark."
"Why would you say something like that, Cosmic?" Applejack said very seriously.
"Huh what do you mean?"
"You know what I'm calling yourself a freak isn't right."
"Yeah" Applebloom added.
"Well look at me my wings doesn't match all with my fur."
"So what's the big deal then?" Applebloom asked.
"Then why is it a big deal to get a cutie mark kid?"
"Because I'm just a useless blank flank because of that."
"Applebloom how many time do we got to tell your not useless?" Applejack said.
"Yes I'm am, I'm different because everypony but, Scootaloo and, Sweetie Belle has a cutie mark."
"Yeah I know how you feel kid."
"No you don't, you have your cutie mark I don't how can you what's it like,"
"Well look at these" Cosmic expanded his wing greatly that it even reach the very bottom of branch of a tree. "I was born not only with a different color, but when I was a colt my wings were bigger then me so I keep tripping on them but over the year I learn how contract them when I was older, but when I was young I was made fun of a lot more then not having a cutie mark."
"I guess your right... hey look were at the barn."
"Good that kart was going to hurt my hind side not to mention my wings when I open them."
"Well I unload...-" Applejack didn't finish as she saw Applebloom was endanger. Part of the barn was falling off and Applejack had less time to react. She leap toward Applebloom pushing her out of the way, but in doing so she hurt her bucking legs.
"Applejack are you ok?" Cosmic said pushing off the plank of wood with Big Mac.
"I fine let's get back to-" she tried to get up but her hind legs were giving in "-work"
"Nope" Big Mac said.
"He's right you can barely keep your footing, I get back to work" as soon as he said that Big Mac stopped him
"Nope."
"What do you mean nope I'm fine and beside the zap apple rarely comes like once a year and we only have five days to harvest them."
"Wow you know your apple history" Applejack said.
"I read a lot when I'm bored."
"But anyways you deserve a break even you been though a lot just come back fully rested and you can buck longer, but for now you need your rest."
"Fine I'll head home then" he said and leaving pretty fast.
"Was that really a good idea Applejack?" Applebloom asked.
"Trust me he needs some rest though what I put him though how about you asked mah friends to see if they can help ok?"
"Ok, Applejack" she said leaving to go give Twilight and friends the message.
Once Applebloom couldn't be heard Applejack spoke again. "Now that we're alone, Big Mac I think we should talk about you shouldn't be butting into other ponies love life. Big Mac only nodded knowing this discussion isn't going to end well.
At the silent library two ponies, a dragon, and a owl was cleaning up the place. It took a long while to get rid of the puke and fixing the ceiling but they were able were able to do it before the sun was down. "Hey, Twilight you never told me how the giant hole was made?'
"Oh that, well I was trying to fix Owlowiscious I cast a launching spell by mistake and that's how I made the giant hole."
"Oh."
"But I got to said how did you know there was a virus in him?"
"I took note before that I kind of did the same as you but not with a spell but with a potions, I turn, Cosmic into the same thing. It took a long time to figure what to do but I was able to make him puke so I knew what to do."
"I never really meant a pegasus so into book before."
"Well what am I supposed to do I lost my feathers a long time ago and I couldn't fly anymore, sure I can go cheer on my friends when their racing or practicing a stunt, sometimes when they don't need me I got nothing to do, so I decided to read and I like it a lot. I soon took potion brewing and learned how to make a health potion but the materials are rare and hard to come by."
"Wait you made a health potion but you don't share it why?"
"It's because many ponies don't usually drink potions that are made by pegasus for really good reasons."
"Like what?"
"Well first the time it takes a long time to brew it perfectly especially since we're in the sky it takes a longer time because of the wind the comes though Cloudestale. Second, well at this potion is the materials. It takes time to get just the right type of items, it a has to be pick on the right timing or the potions will cause a different effect and like I said pegasus ponies don't have the time."
"But your different I'm pretty sure Equestria will be thankful, I know I asked princess Celestia tell everypony about you amazing potion. Spike take a letter."
"Now hold on a second I don't what that ponies to know about my own health potions" Jet said stopping Spike from writing the letter.
"Why not made a potion the could heal wounds I'm pretty sure Celestia will get the materials you be a hero, maybe even being the first pegasus potion brewer to ever live."
"You skipping one important factor."
"What is that?"
"Doctors and nurses will be out of the job, farm lands that was for herbs and other stuff will be turn into farms to only harvest the things that are needed for the potion, not to mention one screw up can cost the entire potion do be completely bad, and the side effects of the mess up brew does not feel good."
"Jeez I never thought about that, I think I see your point."
"Good now I'm going home so bye."
"Bye" Spike and Twilight said.
"Spike take a letter."
"Why?"
"Because that potion could change lives."
"But didn't, Jet said not to do it because messing it up does not feel good, I think we should agree on him at that."
"Yeah but we could always just heal them with the right potion, right?"
"I guess so."
"Good now take a letter. Dear princess-"
The three friend head home feeling like their was a giant burden to them. Loyalty made it home first and started cooking dinner. Jet made it home second and Cosmic third. "So how was your day?" Loyalty asked.
"I probably have to harvest zap apple by myself because Applejack hurt her legs, by saving Applebloom from falling wood planks" Cosmic said.
"I felt like I shared to much information about my potions to, Twilight. What about you Loyalty?" Jet asked.
"I have to race the other employees if I want a mail pony." Loyalty said.
"What time does the race start?" Cosmic asked.
"Four am."
"I should have expect that the mail get's derived at six" Jet said.
"Hey, Jet what to help with harvesting the zap apples?'
"Uh... sure we could use the strength and stamina potions to make it easy" Jet said.
"Good thing there so easy to brew not like your health potions."
"I help you guys after I'm done but are you coming to watch?" Loyalty asked.
"You know it" they both said. After they ate they decided to hit the sank early because who know what kind of madness there coming for tomorrow.
The moon is coming down slowly and it around three-thirty giving Loyalty thirty minutes to prepare. He ate his breakfast with his friends and when they left it was there is only fifth-teen minutes left. They all just made it in time. "GOOD YOU HERE, THOUGHT YOU GOING TO CHICKEN OUT, BUT ANYWAYS THE RULES ARE SIMPLE, MAKE CONTACT WITH EACH HOUSE IN PONYVILLE AND GET BACK TO TOWN HALL, AND DON'T BOTHER TRYING TO CHEAT I GOT SOME EYES OUT THERE TO TELL ME, NO, EXCEPTIONS!" he shouted loudly to keep everypony awake and watching. Everypony got into position. "READY... SET... NOT GO-" nopony fell for that "-NOT GO... OK GO" and they off.
Loyalty was in first place while Derpy was second for a short while. Tapping on the building was harder then anypony would have think because it slow everypony down. Loyalty even lost his place to another pegasus. When they were getting to Sweet Apples Acres nopony suspected a sudden wind torrent to form pushing them back. Apparently it was some ponies that was doing that because they were told too. There was a lot of ponies falling and losing their places so it was almost anypony game but really you don't have care if your first just don't be last. It was a big struggles for getting get back up. The race continue for a long while that the sun even came up, blinding most of the racers. Loyalty final got a hold of himself a dash to the finish. Soon after another wind current was form. It didn't startle most ponies but for Derpy, she fell for it and was dead last. Loyalty notice she was behind and turn around, catching most ponies off guard. He quickly got past the other pegasuses and grabbed Derpy preventing her to fall down. He then tossed Derpy, which surprise her and soon she finish first. The other pegasuses soon finish which means Loyalty was last. Loyalty was tried from tossing Derpy to the finish line.
There a few minutes of waiting to see if anypony skip a house, in that time Loyalty's friends wear just seeing if he was ok for being last. "OK GATHER AROUND" the boss said and everypony that was working did. "OK LOYALTY YOU IN, DERPY YOUR FIRE!"
Derpy was heartbroken. "WHAT! I WAS LAST WHY IS SHE FIRE?"" Loyalty yelled at the boss.
"SHE ONLY GOTTEN FIRST BECAUSE OF YOU!" the boss said, but it only pisses Loyalty off.
"NO!"
"No?"
"NO she didn't get last and you said it yourself no exceptions for coming in last, is there any problem?" the boss was silent. He knew he said anypony last doesn't get the job, he just doesn't what to admit it. "That what I thought, come on guy we got some zap apples to harvest" Loyalty said leaving the area with his friends.
"Boss...uhhh" Derpy said quietly.
"What, get back to work everypony we're already late you too, Derpy" the boss said.
"Oh thank you sir."
"Yeah whatever just get back to work" the boss commanded and everypony got to work.
"Come on guys hurry up" Loyalty said to his friends. They were racing to see who got to Sweet Apple Acres first, it was a waste of energy, but they we're going to use some potions anyways. Once they made it they saw Applejack's other friends and the CMC helping out.
"Hey what took the guys so long?" Rainbow asked mockingly.
"Sorry, I had a race to do early in the morning" Loyalty said.
"Why did you have to race?" Scootaloo asked.
"It was for a job, I was first near the end I went back for Derpy who was for lasted."
"Why would you do that?"
"Because if you were last in the race, you were out of the job and I didn't want Derpy to lose her job because of me."
"That very kind of you to do that" Fluttershy said.
"Yeah let's just get back to work ok."
"He right come on ladies" Applejack said.
"Shouldn't you be resting?" Cosmic asked.
"My legs might not be able to buck but I can still help like Big Mac."
"Ehhh yep" Big Mac said.
"Fine but take it easy, both of you" Cosmic said and soon started apple bucking.
Jet soon gave a potion to Loyalty to drink and he was off like a missile.
"What was that?" Twilight asked.
"Just a little stamina and strength potion, it's just something to help with too bad we're be in the toilet later puking this stuff out" Jet said as he escape a laugh.
"Ewwww to much information."
"Whatever" he said drinking the same potion. He didn't move like a rocket but he was able to apple buck easily.
A good few hours past and there were able to harvest a quarter. The CMC were really working hard with the three trio here. Sweetie Belle help with Jet, Applebloom with Cosmic, and Scootaloo with Loyalty. Sweetie Belle learn a lot being with Jet. He always had something to talk about and Sweetie Belle had also learn some magic tricks as well, they might have been tricks, but taught by a pegasus was special. Applebloom got tips and tricks, that she thought Applejack or Big Mac even knew. Even though he crash landed into the CMC hideout, she was willing to call him brother or better yet dad. Scootaloo mostly just talk to Loyalty instead of helping, but Loyalty didn't mind. Scootaloo asked a couple of question on the race. She never thought a pony would just turn around, she even bet that Rainbow found this crazy. She kept asking question until it made to one question that got Loyalty full attention "How do you fly?" she asked.
"What do you mean?" Loyalty said in confusion. He knew it was a question he would only hear form ponies that can't fly, he never thought he would her it from a filly.
"How do you fly, I want to know because I can't fly, is it something I doing wrong or I can't fly at all?"
"Well I heard from, Cosmic that he saw, Jet fly before he lost his wings."
"Your avoiding my question. Are you telling me that I can never fly again am I going to lose my wings like, Jet?" she started crying from just thinking about it.
"Calm down, Scootaloo you wings are fine if they were going to fall off they would have to be puck off, Jet lost his when he was younger then you so you don't have to worry."
Scootaloo stopped crying "Really?"
"Yeah just show me what you got." Scootaloo tried flying but quickly fail. "Not bad I seen worsted, but your wings you just flapping them."
"Isn't it supposed to do that?"
"Yeah, but your just flapping your wings it's not in sink, your never get fall with that."
"But, Bulk Biceps flaps his wings like crazy and he's able to get go longer than me."
"It's true, but your wings moves slower then his, heck he could beat me in flapping wings because he has to carry his buff body."
"So just flap them at the same time right?"
"Yep."
She flapped her wings slowly to get used to it and then increasing her flapping speed. She soon took off higher and higher, but soon notice how high she and that frighten her. She didn't even notice she was falling, she was terrify from the height she was on. Loyalty notice she was falling and took to the skies. He was flying to her rescue until Rainbow came in and caught her. Loyalty was surprise on how quick she move, it should that she really care for Scootaloo. They got back to the ground "That was awesome, you were able to fly there, squirt" Rainbow said.
"Thanks Rainbow maybe you could show me some of you trick when you were a filly."
"Sure" as they walked back to the barn, but before Rainbow turned to look at Loyalty and said "Thanks for teaching her."
He was happy to help but now he has to lugged all of the zap apple by himself now. It took a while, but even finally did it, to only find them taking a small break. "What took you so long?" Cosmic asked.
"Sorry I had to carry about twenty baskets full of apples by myself" Loyalty said in a grumpy mood.
"Calm down I was only asking."
"Sure you were" Loyalty said grabbing his drink they left out for him.
"Good jobs guys it looks like we might be able to harvest everything before the it even finishes" Applejack said.
"I bet it's because it Cosmic was idea to buck first then bring back later" Applebloom said.
"I only did was thinking outside the box I'm pretty sure, Twilight or, Jet got think of this."
"Yeah it is the most reasonable to get them off the trees so they don't have to disappeared" Jet said.
"I'm amazed I didn't think off that" Twilight admitted.
They all had a good laugh and continue to have small talk until a famous pony and some guards show up. "We looking for Jet Stream" said a famous looking pony.
"I'm Jet Stream" Jet said rising his hoof.
"You boy, how's about coming to Canterlot and help make your health potions."
Jet was in shock they couldn't have know he made potions, but the only thing he was able to say was "what?"
"Come to Canterlot and make your potion, you become rich and famous."
"Twilight what did you do?" he asked her.
"Ah it was good for pony kind" she then smile very bigly.
"I knew I share to much with you uh...-"
"It's Mary Star, dear" the famous pony said.
"Mary Star is one of the riches and most infusion ponies there is" Cosmic inform the others.
"Mary umm I'm going to said no to the offer."
"What to you mean no?"
"No as in I'm not doing it and no I will not tell you the formula."
"But I can make you rich and famous you can change pony history."
"Yeah, no I know it's a mistake to release this to Equestria."
"Well I sorry to said but you don't have a choice, grab him" she order the guards.
Loyalty and Cosmic went on fighting the guards, but really it was only Cosmic because Loyalty just puke on a guard, due to the fact the potion were off. The only reason Jet was fine is because he already puke so he backed up and stayed from the guards. The guards focus on Cosmic for the moment because he was the only problem that could stop them, that or until Loyalty stopped puking on the same guard. The guards were having trouble dealing with Cosmic and his wings, some guards were even scared because of the wings.
"Hey stop I order you to stop-" Twilight ordered, but none of the guards listern. "-why are you doing this, Mary?" Twilight asked.
"What I just want is my step-son to come home he has been a ran away from home, he always been rebellious so I sometimes need to be a little forceful."
"Ha don't make me laugh" Jet said. "You don't even get deserve to call me son."
"WHAT IS GOING ON!" Twilight shouted and blast a giant laser into the sky, stopping everypony.
"She is my step-mother, my real mother went missing a few months after I was born. My father quickly re-marry and soon a month later I lost my feathers so they dump me in Cloudesdale to live with my mom's mother. She's lying about me running away, I don't have a lot power to live on my own unlike Loyalty. I wanted this to be a secret so I know you won't have found me when I invented the potion a few years ago" Jet explained.
"Explain you part, Mary" Twilight said.
"I was always looking for him once I heard he made a potion that could heal wound, I even paid somepony to go look for him."
"But you made a mistake, I was given metal wings, which threw you finder off guard because you told him you looking for a wing-less pony."
"But how do you know if they were a pegasus and not an earth pony?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"Most pegasus have a smaller body then a earth and also you could just go whack them a cloud, there either a unlucky pony that had the spell that let other ponies walk on clouds or there pegasus" Jet explained.
"How could you be so cruel to you step-son?" Twilight asked.
"Really, Twilight you never readied a book that had a evil step-mother when you were a filly."
"Oh yeah, but that a book it's not real life."
"Yeah well real life is like a book, we write our own future."
"YEAH!" Cosmic said.
"Get the boy" Mary order again.
This time Loyalty was better and also Jet even joined into the fight. Fluttershy coward in fear, while Rainbow kept missing with the guards. Pinkie fire with her cannon and Twilight shot with laser with her magic, but had awful aim. Rarity, Spike, Applejack, Big Mac and the CMC were cheering on. The fight was a drawn out battle, with the Jet's friends getting tired. Jet then notice a thunder cloud nearby.
"Everypony back up and Cosmic toss me into the air" Jet commanded.
"But the thunder cloud is right there it's too dangers" Cosmic said.
"It's dangers to got alone, so let me do this" Loyalty said.
"No you got your wings I'll handle-."
"Sorry, Jet but I'm not letting to something if I'm still standing" Loyalty said dashing toward the thunder cloud.
"-Really, Loyalty, why do you have do this?" Jet asked.
"Because I won't forgive myself if you got hurt" Loyalty said, now just grabbing the thunder cloud. He then proceed to dive bomb at guards. Once Loyalty hit the ground, the thunder cloud broke, knotting most of the guards out and putting Loyalty near death.
"LOYALTY!" his friends called for him. Soon Rainbow and Scootaloo quickly pick him up and place him near Jet, so he could use his last health potion. Mary and the rest of the conscience guards just watch as Jet let Loyalty have the last health potion. Loyalty soon woke up but he will probably forever have to vomit electricity ooze from now and on.
"You see that-" Mary told her guards "-He was near the peak of death and that potion just save him. Go get the potion."
Hey KID! Better to give us the formula or else" one of the guard said.
"Or else what?" Jet asked.
"Or else uhhh... Get him" The guard said charging at him.
Cosmic stood in their way with his large wings. "Your not getting though" he said charging at them with his wings spread that has great deal of distance. He also use his wings to gather everypony that was opposing them, and tossed them all the way to Canterlot. Everypony was questioning how he was able to do this but it was soon answer by Cosmic dashing to a barrel and puking in it.
"Now she was taken care off, Twilight" Jet said.
As everypony turn to look at Twilight, she was trying to sneak out, in hoping she won't be in trouble. "Yeah, Jet?" she asked worrying.
"FIX THIS!" Jet shouted at her.
"Ah ok, Spike take a letter" Spike took a letter and started writing what Twilight was saying.
"Dear Princess Celestia I'm am here writing you about my recent letter, the one talking about the health potion. I was told from the creator the he does not wish to release the potion to Equestria, he reasoning will remain a secret. Today we were attacked by Mary Stream but with the help of some ponies she is now somewhere in Canterlot, I don't where because she was tossed there and yes she was tossed I'm am not joking. So anyway do what you want with her, personal I would have arrest her but the pony who tossed her didn't care at all about what would happen to her. So please forget about the potion, we should not bugged ponies it's their choice we should respect that.

Celestia finish reading the letter at looked at the ponies that was infront of her. It was a bunch of guards and a mare. She was deciding on what to do with them.
"Ma'am should I suggest throwing in jail?" a guard asked.
"No they can follow me" Celestia ordered. She soon left though another passage way that's not open to the public. The guards and Mary started to worried what was going to happen to them, once they Celestia man turned a greyish-pink colored.
As Spike sent the letter, Jet notice it was getting dark. "Whoa, when did the time past?" Jet asked, making everypony looking around and noticing it was getting dark.
"That fight must have token longer then expected I didn't even notice the sun was going down" Loyalty said.
"Yeah it's like the sun was meant to go down fast for something to happen at night" Pinkie said confusing everypony.
"I guess we should all head home then" Cosmic said.
Everypony agree and soon they all head their separate ways, but soon after Cosmic and Jet suddenly fallen asleep. "Really guys you fall asleep now... great." he said to himself. He somehow place them on his back a carry them home. It took a long while and he was willing to drink another potion just to carry them home, but he didn't want to wake up in puke. As he walk alone with his asleep friends on, he notice how bright the moon was. It was a breezy night and he almost felt like just flying but he knew he couldn't abandon his friends, even if there were asleep. As he got to his place, he notice a package in front of the doorstep with a letter sticking out. He open the letter, but only to find the word "Thanks" he then proceed to open the package to only find muffins. He only assumed it was from Derpy because he help her the most for today. He then tossed his friends to their room and at least put a blanket over them and he then proceed to his couch. He wanted to try a muffin before he hit the sank and as soon as he took his first bite, he found the muffin to be very sweet and soon ate a bunch more muffins and got hyper. "Great" he said to himself, he knew he had to burn it so he decided to travel to Sweet Apple Acres and work there and once he was tried he head back. He agree to his plan and head out.
Cosmic woke with a expecting to smell something good but all he got was nothing. He suspected that Loyalty was asleep as well as Jet since he couldn't smell anything burning. As he walked out of his room he notice that Loyalty wasn't on the couch, he also notice a box with some crumbs in it. He decided to try the crumbs and discover it was very sweet.
Later Jet came out of his room. "Where's Loyalty?" he asked.
"I don't know but I did find this box, it was fill with some type of food, maybe a cupcake, anyways it was very sweet. Any idea?"
"I guess he got hyper and went out to burn off the energy, he probably asleep somewhere in Ponyville."
"That's make sense I guess... I'll go get breakfast started" Cosmic said going to the kitchen. Jet only nodded and decided to read a book. Soon after breakfast Cosmic and Jet went different ways. Jet wanted to check out more books, but only if Twilight was there because if she wasn't there that would mean the library was closed then. Cosmic went straight to Sweet Apple Acres. Once he got there, he notice Applejack was standing in front of the barn. "HEY APPLEJACK!" Cosmic yelled, while running to Applejack.
"Oh hey, Sugarcube. Uh... did you do this?" Applejack asked, poking to the barn's inside.
Cosmic stopped in front of the barn and discover that it was a bunch of zap apples. "No."
"Then who could have done this, with this many zap apples here it would have taken a lot of energy."
"Than it must have been Loyalty."
"Why him?"
"He wasn't here this morning and he got hyper last night so he probably came here to get rid of his extra energy."
"Well how about you try to look for him, you will need those baskets later."
"Ok Applejack" Cosmic said, and soon took to the sky. He did a quick check for clouds because he recall that Sweet Apple Acres wasn't supposed to have any clouds for the next week. He soon spot a lone cloud in the sky and went to it. He went to the cloud and found Loyalty. "Hey get up" he said, poking Loyalty to get up.
"What, who where... oh hey" Loyalty said.
"Dude, what happen to you?"
As Loyalty check himself and found out that he was cover in mud and leaves. "I guess I was high then, pun entirely intended" Loyalty said with a big grin on his face.
"So what happen then?"
"I don't know really, I ate really sweet muffins and last I check I wanted to waste the energy I had."
"Muffins? where the hay you get that?"
"It was in a box outside our house, I think it was meant for me."
"That makes sense, I guess but you could have left some for us.."

"Fine I go to some lake or something."

"Bye" Cosmic said, while watching Loyalty leave. He didn't know why, but he felt a little jealous that Loyalty might have a fan. He quickly try to get rid of the idea and head to see Applejack for the baskets.
Jet was traveling to the library, but got distracted by Scootaloo's crying. Jet went to her wondering what's up. "Hey, Scootaloo why are you crying?" he asked.
"I broke my scooter" she said.
"I thought you won't be using your scooter anymore because you learn how to fly."
"Yeah I thought so do-" she stopped crying "-but the more I avoid it, the more I want to use it again but now I can't" Scootaloo was about too start crying again.
"I could probably fix" Jet said with some regret.
"You would do that" Scootaloo said with the happiest smile as she said it.
Jet took a big gulp. He wasn't a professional or even tried repairing anything, but his wings. His choices were either make the filly hate him for deceiving her or making the scooter worse than before. Jet took a breath of air "Only if you would help me, maybe you learn something."
"Ok that seems fun anyways" Scootaloo said picking up the scooter. She was about to put it on Jet's back, but Jet back off.
"Scootaloo can you carry it. If you put it on my back it would get wreck if you place it on my wings."
"Oh ok, so where are we heading?"
"To the library we do need a manual on repairing the scooter now."
"I guess that makes sense" she said and soon they headed to the library. After a few minutes Scootaloo remember a question, that she wanted to asked for a while now. "Hey, Jet can I asked you a question?"
"Go ahead."
"Have you always had mental wings?"
"No, but I had it since I was a child. Why do you asked, did you really think I was born with metal wings?"
"No of course not, but...-"
"But what?"
"-but did you even get to fly?"
"No I never got to fly, I only got to glide and even gliding was hard."
"Did you ever get ashamed just because you couldn't fly?"
"Ashamed no, bullied yes."
"Yeah I got bullied too and also for blank flank."
"That isn't as bad as me."
"Oh really, I've called chicken before what could be worst."
"Well you are ready know my step-mother and her plans-"
"Oh yeah" she forgot about that and soon she knew she was going to fell sorry for him.
"I never really made friends, I can hurt myself at times, I was made fun of, I was even push off of Cloudesdale at times, and there-"
"YOU WERE PUSH OFF CLOUDESDALE!" Scootaloo shouted causing some ponies to look in their way.
"Yeah, but,Cosmic always had my back and ,Loyalty was always there to catch me."
"But did the bullies ever care what would happen to you if your friends didn't had you back?"
"If they did they would have not done it in the first place... actually I think they only did it because they knew Loyalty would catch me, he always has."
"Yeah, but didn't anypony see is what there doing was wrong?"
"Not really, my friends were called the trio of freaks, do you think anypony would actually care if they heard that."
"Ummm...yeah they would care."
"Well maybe a filly or colt, but it happens a few years ago we were pretty much grown-ups by then."
"So what did you do since you can't fly?"
"I read books and did potions brewing, I heard that your friend Applebloom somewhat does potion brewing before."
"Yeah, during Twilight Time and when she visits Zecora."
"Twilight Time?"
"It's when we hang out with, Twilight to learn stuff."
"And you didn't learn how to fix your scooter with that time."
"My scooter is custom made, I can fix a regular scooter in no time."
"And you didn't tell me your scooter was custom made I can see problems trying to fix it."
"So is this mean your not going to fix it?"
"I'll try, so how about we get to the library to figure out some things about a scooter that you might not even know."
"Uh ok" she said as than walked to the library.
Loyalty flew quickly to a nearby lake. He was able to get rid of anything that wasn't fuse with his fur going at his speed. While speeding he felt like trying do to the sonic rainboom, since he was already going fast. He plan that, if he fail he would a least land in the water, so he didn't hold back. He soon started flapping his wings so fast it might have got on fire, but with this much wing it would have been blown out. As he increase his speed, notice he broke the sound barrier, but how he was able to figure out it was broken was a mystery to him. He felt like he was able to do the sonic rainboom until a lake felt like showing up in his view and soon enough there was a giant splash coming from the lake. He felt a little sad he couldn't do the sonic rainboom, but he was at least clean. As he got out of the water and on to land he saw a wet-mane Rainbow Dash and before either of them notice both of their wings went *pomf.* They soon realize their wings were wide open and they tried to close them. Loyalty just thought that he wasn't Cosmic because he would had a much longer and harder time to hide a wingboner. Once they both calm they're wingboner Loyalty was first to speak. "So what's up?"
"I was relaxing on the lake until you came along, what were you even doing?"
"Sorry about that, but I was trying do to the sonic rainboom, I know you already done it."
"You have since when?"
"I was a competitor in the Best Young Flyer competition."
"Really you were I didn't even notice you, no offence."
"That's probably because you were hiding in the corner."
Rainbow blushed a little "I would have known if you were there I saw everypony who was there."
"Are you sure that you won't staring at other ponies' flanks as you swap your number" Loyalty said as he giggle a bit.
Rainbow blushed even more "So what number were you because I remember that I didn't swap with you."
Loyalty signed before answering "I was sixteen but due to the time constraint I was cut and you and Rarity had to share yours, I wasn't even given a chance, but I guess I couldn't beat a sonic rainboom."
Rainbow felt a little sorry "Sorry about that you couldn't try."
"It's ok like I said there no way I could beat a sonic rainboom.
"Hey, how about you show me what you were planning to do for the competition."
"Sure" Loyalty said and soon did a trick that was similar to Rainbow's Buccaneer Blaze. "So how do you like that-" he looked at Rainbow and saw her jaw dropped. "-I guess you like it?"
"Where did learn that?" Rainbow asked with a little anger.
"I somewhat made it up for the competition I call it the Trio-Blaze, you know to show off my friends."
"That trick looks like my own move the Buccaneer Blaze and I never showed that off ever."
"Jet somewhat help out and, Cosmic help me perform it, so I named it after on how my friends work as a trio."
"Hear I show you the Buccaneer Blaze."
"OK" and soon Rainbow show the Buccaneer Blaze. "That does seem similar to the Trio-Blaze, I guess it shows were somewhat alike.
"But' I'm a mare and you're a stallion how is that a like?"
"What I'm mean is that your the element of loyalty corrected?"
"Yeah, what's your point?"
Loyalty was about to do a hoof-palm but held back. "Loyalty is my name and being loyal is my game."
"Oh but there no way your the element of loyalty."
"What I'm trying to say is, that were both loyal. Heck, Jet said that I might as well be the element of loyalty, I challenge that title a lot but we all know I can't be the element of loyalty."
"There's no way your more loyalty then me, I even gave up a spot to work with the Wonderbolts, and that's was my dream to be a Wonderbolt, but instead wanted to be teams with my friends."
"I guess giving up a dream is pretty loyal but how many times have you risk your live to save a friend?"
"I don't remember times why I risk my life for a friend but I would do it if you asking."
"Yeah I risk my life before and the only thing scary is that you may only get one chance to do it and you aren't careful there might not be a second time."
"How many times have you risk you life?"
"The problem is you might suffer brain damage, but I do remember the two recent one you know the two, the lighting event coming to Ponyville, and Jet's step-mom coming here."
"Oh yeah, I remember now."
"So now what?"
"Want to have race to Sweet Apples Acres."
"Sure, but why there, is it that you like Applejack even more than a friend" Loyalty said cocking a eye brow.
"NO! it's just the farthest and it could help get rid of the water."
"Sure" Loyalty said, blasting of to Sweet Apple Acres.
"HEY NO FAIR!" Rainbow shouted. She soon got up but she had to admit it wasn't easy. Loyalty was fast, but he couldn't pull of the sonic rainboom. During the race she wonder if Loyalty did the Trio-Blaze would he won the Young Flyers competition. She also thought that he never got to go was because of her, holding up the competition by swapping numbers, but it was a while back and so many things happen, she tried to forget about it and focus on the race a head.
Cosmic just finally made it the barn to find that some baskets are empty. He never thought that Loyalty was far from the barn, and felt like he miss a lot of time during that point. "Hey Applejack, I found out who buck your zap apples."
"Really who might that be?"
"It's was Loyalty, he got a sugar rush so he came here to buck some apples to get rid of the sugar rush."
"Well he almost harvest and entire quarter by himself it's mighty impressed."
"If you would in a sugar rush you would feel like you can do anything, the only problem is your teeth, it be rotten to the core."
Yeah, well about we started apple bucking, partner."
"Sure, but I was wondering where's Big Mac, Applebloom, and Granny Smith?"
"They had some business at Manehatten, Big Mac might be still hurt but there be ok."
"Tell that when one of you legs starts to fail" Applejack shot a glare. "What I was joking" Cosmic said, picking up some baskets with his wings.
"Let's just get apple bucking."
"Can do" he said walking out of the barn. Before he knew it, he saw Rainbow for a spilt second and soon Loyalty, but crashing into him.
"You should really work on the reaction time" Rainbow said, floating down.
"Yeah yeah... sorry about that Cosmic" Loyalty said helping Cosmic up.
"What are you even doing here?"
"Asked, Rainbow" Loyalty said as he pick up the fallen basket.
"So what are you doing here, Rainbow?"
"We wanted to dry off so we race here do to it. Well since were here we minus well help out, right, Loyalty."
"Right."
"Whatever come on Loyalty we're buck the apples you miss last night."
"Ok" he said running off to the field with Cosmic.
"Last night? He was here."
"Yeah but only because he was hyper."
"Oh ok, how about we buck the other side."
"Ok, Rainbow. Just let me get the buckets" Rainbow nodded, grabbing some buckets as well. They walk for a long while, silent. It wasn't until Rainbow spoke thinking the stallions were really far away.
"Hey, AJ can I ask you something?"
"Go ahead, Sugarcube" Applejack was curious on why she would asked something.
"Do you like Cosmic?"
Applejack blushed a bit. "Why in the hay would you asked something like that?"
"I was just wondering, I saw how you were staring at his flank and how you grab him, when he you asked if he would work for you."
"Now, where did you here that?" Applejack was sweating up a lot.
"Loyalty told me during the race here, now confess you know you can't run from me of all ponies."
"I uhhh...-" she sigh, she knew she couldn't lie and can out run her, and even if she could Rainbow would always ask again and again until she got a answer. "-yes I do somewhat like Cosmic."
"I knew it" Rainbow said, doing a little victory dance.
"Well what about you do you like, Loyalty?"
"I uhh...-" she was about to fly away, but Applejack's lasso caught her before she even tried. "- I guessed I like him a bit" Rainbow knew she couldn't lie to Applejack, not to mention she was also tied down.
"I knew it" Applejack said untying her friend.
"Come on let's stop goofing and get apple bucking."
"And let's keep this our secret."
"Done."
Back to Loyalty and Cosmic. They are ready finish off their baskets and were heading back to the barn. "Hey, Cosmic can I ask you something?"
"Is it that you like Rainbow Dash?"
"What no I uhh-."
"Don't worry I won't tell" Cosmic said with a devilish grin.
"You better or I'm going to tell everypony you like Applejack."
"What no I don't" Cosmic said with a blush.
"You can't lied to me, you might be strong, but your as open as a book."
"Fine, so what did you want to talk about."
"I don't know it's just something to get off my chest."
"Good, I agree it's good to get it off my chest as well."
"Do you think they might like us?"
"I thought we were done talking about it."
"But it's make you think."
"Keep thinking out loud and they soon hear it."
"Fine I shut up but-"
"but what?"
"Do you think Jet likes Twilight."
"I doubted it, he never was into mares anyways."
"Yeah remember the time the most popular mare asked him out."
"How could I forget, she was so pissed she hired ponies to beat on all three of us."
"Yeah she just wanted to embarrassed, Jet but instead she went after us, but it's a good thing your with us."
"Yeah you guys wouldn't have survive with me."
"More like, Jet because they were after him the most."
"Yeah."
They laugh for a while and soon got back to work.
In the library, Jet was struggling on fixing the scooter. He felt a little ashamed that he couldn't even fix a simple custom made scooter. He was running out of ideas to think of.
"Jet is there anything I can do?" Scootaloo asked.
"You can always tell me who made you scooter that could always could be helpful."
"Who him his name Is Kyle he lives near Sugarcube Corner."
After hearing this he was about to break the scooter even more then before, but he hold back. "Come on we're leaving."
"Where we heading?"
"To, Kyle to get this fix he is still alive is he?"
"Oh yeah I guess he would be a good choice to go to."
They walked to Kyle placed, Jet knot on the door, but was surprise to find to hear a voice instead of opening the door. "Help I'm lock in" the voice inside cried.
"Woah calm down, just tell me what's wrong."
"My door's jam and I can't get out."
"Isn't there any other doors you could get out with?"
"No, this is the only exit."
"What about the windows?"
"Their enchanted so my step-daughter won't be able to break them."
"Ok then, step away from the door I break it down."
"But how do you do that we pegasus aren't that strong" Scootaloo said.
"Hey I know that voice, Scootaloo is that you."
"Yeah I'm Scootaloo."
"I'm guessing your, Kyle then."
"Yeah I'm him."
"Good you lucky were looking for you, now stand back."
"OK I'M BACK!" Kyle shouted.
Jet took off one of his metal feather and slice the door down with it. "There we go."
"Thank you so much, I was just running out of food."
"It's no problem."
"So what can I do for you two?"
"Can you fix my scooter?"
"Of course I would fix it" he said grabbing the scooter. "Here you go" he said after he finish with the scooter.
"Wow thanks" Scootaloo said, giving him a hug.
Jet was a bit jealous he could fix the scooter so easily, but it didn't matter to him, he did what he wanted to do so he head off to the library. "I'll be going now see yeah" he said dashing away.
"For having metal wings, he moves pretty fast don't you say so?"
"Yeah."
When Jet got to the library, he saw Twilight closing the library. "You do know this is the public library" Jet said to her. He notice she wasn't with help baby dragon.
"Oh ops I sometimes forget that, because it is my house after all."
"Yeah well you should be careful someponies would like to read something new."
"Well how about we head inside and I'll show you some books" Twilight said opening the door. "I know I said this before, but it's finally great to a pony into books and learning."
"I only do it because I couldn't fly, but I guess I could have worked out instead of reading, I found it more better."
"Not to mention to you brew the best potion nopony could have ever made."
"I'm pretty sure Starswirl the bearded could have made a potion easy or a spell since he was into spells more."
"He is great, but I got do finish Starswirl's masterpiece."
"He had a masterpiece?"
"How do you not know of this masterpiece?" Twilight said in shock.
"There's not that many books on unicorn, it's mostly tricks and tips for pegasus."
"Oh, uh ops I didn't know that."
"I was lucky a merchant was selling some history books, that's how I found out, so how did you figure out this spell?"
"He didn't understand the power of friendship, it might have swap my friends cutie marks, but the answer was to be true to yourself and others."
"That sounds about what would Loyalty would say, be yourself no matter what other say or do. He loyal to himself and others."
"I curious what's his real name is?"
"I curious do, but I also don't want to know."
"Why not?"
"It's like one of those things you want to know, but turns out it's something different."
"Oh like checking out fifty shades of hay."
"You actually read that?"
"A bunch of times actually."
"Why?"
"I wanted to know why it became a thing."
"Did you?"
"Yeah take a seat by the couch because I did a lot of research it is long."
"OK" Jet said, trying to find a spot where his wings won't cut the couch.
"Jet why don't you take off the wings?"
"I don't want to be I look weird as I already do and besides I'll cut myself if I do."
"Here let me do it" she said, lighting up her horn and removing his wings. Twilight didn't find the look to be weird by kind of cute. "See much easier."
Jet went on the couch pretty quickly. "I forgot how heavy my wings are."
Twilight giggle at his rather cute pose and soon sat on the couch telling her story. After she was done it was really late. "Jet how about you stay the night...-" she saw that he was snuggle up close to her asleep. "-I guess you could with me tonight" she whisper to him.
It's was getting darker by the minute any Sweet Apples Acres' trees look pretty empty expected for the leaves. The four ponies were having some zap apple goods. There were celebrating that they were able to harvest the rest of zap apples. Applejack tried something different and serve zap apple cider. Rainbow loved the new idea but knew this probably the only time she got to try it, but she could always rub it in Pinkie face. They didn't invited because they didn't plan to finish so early, the party was unexpected. After the small party ended it was pitch black.
"Hey *hic* how about you stay in the house tonight *hic*" Applejack said.
"Sure *hic*" everypony said.
"Good follow me *hic*" everypony follow Applejack and soon was snoozing, the only thing was taht they were sleeping in pairs. Applejack and Cosmic, Rainbow with Loyalty. They didn't mind for now.
Morning came quicker then anypony had expected. Loyalty woke up to a light cyan pegasus on him. Hoping that Rainbow doesn't wake up, he got out of bed and quick search for Cosmic. He found Cosmic was snuggle up close to Applejack. He came and quietly woke up Cosmic. He woke up and about to say something until, Loyalty pointed that he was right next to Applejack. Cosmic got up recklessly, but still didn't wake up Applejack. They quickly grab anything that might be their in the rooms the two mares sleep and hurry out of there.
"That was a crazy night" Loyalty said, while running outside.
"Yeah let's just hope we just sleep and nothing else."
"Agree, but at least we didn't sleep with each others crush."
"We done talking about this" Cosmic said taking to the sky with Loyalty.
It took a while, but they final made it home and the first thing they did was check if Jet was home. Loyalty check his room and didn't find him there. "Jet's not here, where do you think he is?"
"I only guess he was at the library, so let's check there."
"Ok" Loyalty said, running out the room. This time they took it slow, they are out the barn and decided not to worry anymore.
Jet woke up in Twilight's bed. He didn't remember sleeping on a bed, and when he looked around the bed he notice a pony shape dent in the bed. "Am I in Twilight's room" soon Twilight came in.
"Morning sleepy head" Twilight said casually.
"Uh why am I in you bed?" Jet said nervously.
"Oh you had fallen asleep so I let you with me in my bed."
"Oh... WHAT WHY?!"
Twilight was startle by the sudden change of sound. "We only sleep and that's it" even though she kind of wanted to do it because she been reading a eighteen plus book about slumber party with boys. She was curious and was planning to asked to tried them on him in the morning, but seeing his reaction, she better not.
"Where's my wings?"
"Downstairs, I been looking at it and I've been wondering, what it's made of."
Twilight and Jet went downstairs to get the wings and soon there was a knotting on the door. Twilight answer it to find Loyalty and Cosmic. "Hey, Jet uhhh, where's you wings?" Loyalty asked, coming in with Cosmic.
"Twilight took them off."
"Why?" Cosmic asked.
"I took them off so he could sit on the couch and not on the ground."
"Can you guys just help me put my wings back on I feel naked without them."
"You are ready naked" Cosmic said with a chuckle and carefully picking one end of the wing.
Loyalty took the other side and then they both slowly and careful put back where there suppose to. "Do you guys need my help, I pretty sure my magic can be faster then what your doing."
"Like it was such a good idea for telling anypony that, Jet made a potion the could cue any wound."
"Well it's is technically it was best for pony kind."
"Yeah leaving it for my step-mother would be the best you probably pay everything for just a sip" Jet said.
"I'm pretty she would be reasonable."
"No that's pretty sounds about right" Cosmic said.
"Yep" Loyalty added.
"Really, do you really think she would do that?"
"Well let's say this, Spike got injured and he's not going to make it unless he had a sip of the potion, how much would you pay to get it?" Jet asked.
"Anything to save him, he's like a brother to me."
"See you spend almost everything to save him and the idea that ponies can't die from injuries, everypony would just get patch up. They will careless of themselves and others, not to mention Equestria might get overpopulate. Which means ponies need more food the only problem the plots of land will probably be token over for the ingredients for the potion. Ponies will stave and my potion can't help them, only delayed for a short while, they will surfer."
"Wow I never thought of that either, you can always find a good thing and ruin it can't you?"
"It's sometimes good to think of what's going to happen if I do this, by the way where is, Spike, I haven't seen since I was here?"
"He is with Rarity, he been there a lot more since they started dating. I do miss his company, but he still helps me now and then."
"Dragon and pony relationship cool, but, Twilight has, Rarity warn you on stealing him."
"WHAT I could never do that to him, but yes she has."
The trio laugh a bit and then finally putting the last wing on Jet. "So now what?" Loyalty asked.
"How we get something to eat, I'm starving" Cosmic said.
"I can cook something up, can I use your kitchen, Twilight?"
"Oh sure I show you where it is" Twilight said showing Loyalty the kitchen. He soon cook breakfast and when Twilight took her first bite, she just devoured her breakfast. "That was like the best food I ever tasted."
"Really I never found myself as a great cook" Loyalty admitted.
"Really, Loyalty we know that you cooking is better then everypony's else" Cosmic said.
"Yeah a lot better then my cooking" Jet pointed out.
"Yeah, but food taste amazing it even better then some of the top chiefs in Canterlot" Twilight exclaimed.
"Really you think so?"
"Yep it's that good you guys are lucky he cooks for you."
"Not all the time it's who ever gets up first has to cook is just, Loyalty is always the earliest." Jet explain.
"Oh ok."
They were pretty much silent now. All of them ran out of things to said so they all helped clean the dishies. It was just then there was a knot on the door. It was the CMC coming for Twilight time. "Applebloom aren't you supposed to be at Manehatten?" Cosmic asked.
"I'm back."
"That was fast what did you had to do?"
"Only apples are allow to know."
"Then in that case I don't care."
"So what do you do in Twilight time?" Loyalty asked.
"Oh they learn things, Apple bloom with brewing, Scootaloo for her scooter and, Sweetie Belle with her magic." Twilight explain.
"Applebloom do you need any help with potion brewing?" Jet asked.
"Sure with your help there's no way, I'll fail mah potions" Applebloom said excited.
"Now wait why do you get him, Applebloom, he would be more help with me and my scooter" Scootaloo said close up to Applebloom.
"No he should help me, Jet learn some magic he should help me" Sweetie Belle said.
The three fillies soon broke into a fight with Twilight trying to break up the fight. "It looks like you have students" Loyalty said with a grin.
"Guess you better respect you teacher."
"In your dreams, your never hear me said it."
"Come on said it, you know you want always funny."
"No."
"Just said it, Loyalty" Cosmic said.
"Fine... .otice me senpai."
"Come on, Loyalty that was weak."
"Then you do it, I already done it, it's your turn."
"Fine, NOTICE ME SENPAI!" Cosmic shout.
Soon there was a burst of laughter from the trio of friends. "Come on how about we help break the fight" Jet said.
"Sure come on, Cosmic."
"Yeah yeah I'm coming."
In the household that Applejack, and Rainbow were snoozing in it. Granny Smith and Big Mac came back from trip from Manehatten. Granny was going to see if Applejack was asleep or actually working, while Big Mac rest in his room with his doll Smarty Pants. Granny could hear Applejack snoozing instead of working, so she plan a give a good old speech when the zap apples is over, the only problem is she was slow. By the time she got to AJ's room she was gone, but she heard voices coming from the guest room. She went to the guest room quickly so she could find out what. She saw Applejack and Rainbow Dash together, and seeming them together means they might like each other. Granny Smith remember the last Apple reunion where she was chatting with her cousins on who Applejacks special somepony was going to be. Some of her cousins said it was going to be Carmel, while some others said it was going to be Spike, where they got that information, Celestia will only know. A few, and I'm mean two said, it would be with her brother, Big Mac which was somewhat understandable, but what got most of the apples off guard was when Granny Smith said it would be her friend Rainbow Dash. Granny Smith had the best reasons for this idea, and non of the apples could disagree, she even what this to happen. She always fond of the rainbow colour pegasus, it always reminded of her about zap apples, the apple that made that farm what it is today, but once she heard the rainbow said a few words she fainted, making a loud bang on the wooden floor.
"What was that?" Rainbow asked.
"I go see ah, Granny Smith-" she ran to her. "-Come on Granny don't faint on me know."
"What happen?" Rainbow said with a lot of worried.
"I don't, Rainbow come on, Granny wake up" Granny soon woke up from her sudden faint. "Granny don't ever scare me like" Applejack said hugging her.
"Now now AJ I'm not kicking the bucket just yet I just want to know why aren't you going out with your rainbow friend."
Both mares both blush and soon said "WHAT" to Granny.
"Yar heard me you two should be together."
"But, Granny we aren't fillyfoolers."
"But you two are always together, you can't deny that."
"So just we hang together does not mean we are in to each other, in that way of course" Rainbow Dash said.
"Rainbow is right, we're just friends."
"Oh but you two look good together."
"Granny Smith we are not in to each other, that is that."
"Then tell me who do you like, is it the Cosmic fellow."
"I um... yes."
"We at least you got good taste in stallions now, why aren't you harvesting the zap apples?" Granny final got to asked.
"We got them all, Granny."
Yep" Rainbow added.
"Really now if that's true what are you staying here for, shouldn't you thanks some ponies."
"Yeah, AJ shouldn't thanks some ponies" Rainbow said while grinning.
"Op, uh thanks, Rainbow. Now how about we thank our friends now."
"Sure Applejack" Rainbow said leaving the household, with her friend.
The fight over Jet was over and nopony got him. They wasted a lot of time if they kept fighting so they had to stop. The trio left the CMC and Twilight alone, thinking it would be the best for now. The three friends were trying to find something to do, and soon they did. The door knot and it was Derpy delivering a message to all pegasus. Another Young Flyers competition is happing so any pegasus that got the skills can enter. Loyalty became so excited after hearing this, that he grab Jet and ran out to formulate a plan. He went past Applejack and Rainbow quickly which made them question a bit. Once AJ, and Rainbow made it to the library they found out. Rainbow was excited too, but soon a flashback occurred reminding her that Loyalty once enter, but never got to perform.
"I'm assuming you going to be awesome that the competition" Scootaloo said.
"Actually I think I going to sit this one out."
"WHAT!" everypony said all at once.
"Quick, Twilight check if she's a changeling" Applejack said.
"I'm casting the spell she's not a changeling" Twilight
"Guys I'm not a changeling and I not being controlled or anything."
"Then why aren't you entering?" Derpy asked.
"Remember the last competition?"
"Oh yeah isn't that the one your friend, Rarity fell from, it's the only reason Cloudsdale stopped doing the Young Flyers competition" Cosmic said.
"Yeah apparently, Loyalty enter that one as well, but got cut from time restrained."
"Oh yeah, I remember him entering that one, he got really depress because of that, he wouldn't left his couch for a whole week."
"How did he got over it?" Applebloom asked.
"Ummm... I remember, Jet said he wanted to practice gliding, got in trouble and, Loyalty comes saving him for like who know many times."
Rainbow looked down for a while before speaking. "I kind of felt bad for holding up the competition, that probably why they were running out of time."
"Yeah I heard quote in quote: Some idiot was holding up the competition by doing something, end quote."
"Hey, Rainbow not idiot" Scootaloo said.
"Yeah, but I acted like one that day."
"No you're not right, Derpy you daughter is in, Rainbow's fan club."
"Oh I should be going now, I still have to the deliver message, so bye" Derpy said. leaving.
"Anyway you still awesome so you should enter anyways" Scootaloo said.
"I already made up my mind kid, it be ok I could always try to make some new tricks, for next time."
"Ok, Rainbow."
"So what are you two doing here?" Cosmic asked.
"I wanted to say thanks for helping for the zap apples, we couldn't have done it without you guys" Applejack said.
"It was no problem at all, I still need those bits of course."
"Of course, sugarcube, I have you it later."
"Ok now if you excuse me I have to make sure, Loyalty doesn't go insane for his performance" Cosmic said leaving them.
"Ooo can we go watch them?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"Yeah can we" Applebloom added.
"Sure why not" Twilight said and soon they all left to go see Loyalty performance.
"Do you think he show up?" a shady pegasus asked.
"Oh course he will, I know that boy will show up and once he does the plan will get started" a another pegasus said.
"I hope for you shake he has" the first pegasus whispered to himself.
Word spread around about a young flyers competition, happing in Cloudesdale like wild fire. Every pegasus was hyped and wanting to enter, that and that a rumor started about that Rainbow wasn't going to enter so the odds of winning go way up, but with every wild fire it only means a problem. Some rumors begin to worry some pegasus. One rumor mentions that the contest is unofficial so nopony was really going to get anything, another rumor mentions that you going to be kidnaped. Loyalty shook these rumors off like it was nothing. He didn't care if it was a fake, he just wanted to show off his skills. He also didn't care about the kidnapping, his friends would never give up on protecting each other. The trio always had each others back, even when they first meet.
There was a young pegasus, he knew how to fly, but he got nopony to show it off too. As he wander around Cloudesdale he saw two older pegasus picking on two younger and strange pegasuses. One had different color wings then his body while the other one barely had wings. He didn't know any of them and he was scare of the two old pegasus, he ever felt like just walking away, but once one of the bullies mention the word freak, he wanted to help.
"HEY!" he shouted to the bullies "You better stopped."
"And who's going to stop us?" one of the bullies asked.
"I will" the pegasus said nervously.
"Then come and stop us" the other bully said.
The pegasus charge head first, but was soon stopped to a hoof to the face, and soon the bullies started beating up the pegasus. Once they finish they went away, leaving a wounded pegasus and two other pegasus.
"That was brave, but stupid" the wingless pegasus said.
"You shouldn't have done that, I could take down one of them, but the other one will get me" the blacked wings pegasus said, helping the injured pegasus up.
"I didn't want to sit back and let them call you freaks, everypony is special in their own way."
"That's a good way to look at things" the wingless pegasus said.
"It was nothing by the way who are you?"
"I'm Cosmic" the blacked wings pegasus said.
"I'm Jet, and who are you?" the wingless pegasus asked.
"I don't have a name actually."
"Come on everypony has a name, or your parents never said you name before?" Jet asked.
"I don't have parents, I just roam around Cloudesdale, trying my best to survive."
"You mean you lived by yourself this whole time" Cosmic said.
"Yeah, like I was just drop off as a colt and was forced to live on my own."
"That's sad, hey how about you come hang with us?" Jet asked.
"Really you let me do that."
"It's only fair and besides it's not like any other pegasuses want to hang out with us, we're the out cast anyways" Cosmic said.
"Really? I thought, those older pegasuses we're just picking on the weak."
"You understanding seems to base on logic, how do you get so smart without and help?" Jet asked.
"Really I'm smart, it's I study pegasuses afar and how they interacted, I most be lucky to pick a more kind side to study."
"Can we stop with small talk and go have some fun" Cosmic complained.
"Fine whatever" Jet said, looking a bit irritated.
"Great let's go uhhh... what do we call you?" Cosmic asked.
The pegasus didn't speak up because he had no sense about names he didn't want a bad one or a one to show off with. "How about, Loyalty?" Jet suggested.
"Loyalty? that's such a strange name, you need a better name" Cosmic said.
"I actually like, Loyalty, but I wonder why you pick this one?"
"It's the first thing I thought of when I think about you."
"Is that really it, Jet?"
"It could be, but if we continue the school bell will ring and it be to late to play."
"Oh yeah being chase can sure be distracting to you a lot" Cosmic said.
"Let's hurry back before the teachers get mad at us for running off."
"Not like they even watch us."
The two friends share a laugh and soon hurry to their school with a strange new friend by there side. They made it to their school with a lot of time to spare, something to do with being chase again. They played for a while and soon was stopped by the bell. Soon a teacher Pegasus came outside to check if everypony was here, but she noticed a certain dark blue pegasus among the out cast of colts.
"You there freeze" she yelled to Loyalty, while charging at him. Cosmic and Jet stood in front of him to protect him. "Move out of the way, you know school coding, no stragglers. All they what is a free education, well they have to still pay, now MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!" she said knotting the two kids away.
Cosmic was knot unconscious and Jet was sent back far, from the smack and was sent falling fast to the ground. Loyalty quickly notice that Jet was falling and went diving down at him. The teacher was in shock when she realize she just knot a wingless pegasus off of Cloudsdale and knot out a colt.
Loyalty dive to grab Jet, knowing full well he was able carry the both off them back up top, it didn't matter to him. He finally made some new friends and he wasn't planning on losing any of them for a very long time. As he dive down fast, he notice that he could see the ground, he knew he fail for his friend, but he didn't want to give up. He was so determined to at least make contact with Jet, even if it means risking his own life. He kept increasing his speed that he broke the sound barrier and caught up to Jet. He was happy, he didn't give any bucks that he was about to die our anything, he was just happy and then suddenly just as they were about to hit the ground a rainbow pegaus caught Jet while a fiery mane pegasus caught him. He was surprise he didn't even see them coming from any directions, they won't even close to him or Jet. As Loyalty looked around he notice that behind the rainbow pegasus was a rainbow trail and behind the fiery mane pegasus was a fiery trail. Both tail collided with each other making an breath taking scene. He soon fainted from over exhaustion.
"Dear, did you really have to wait to the last minute?" a blue mane pegasus asked.
Loyalty, Jet, and Cosmic were waking up from the events. "You know she loves it, don't you Rainbow Dash?" the fiery mane pegasus said to her filly.
"Yeah it's twentie-percent more cooler" Rainbow Dash said.
"Firefly, you know your daughter the best, she be angry at us if we didn't do that" the rainbow pegasus said.
"I know, Rainbow Blaze, but if you miss up you could have gotten these two killed" Firefly pointed at Loyalty and Jet. She soon realized that Loyalty was awake. "Oh your awake, here I'll go get some food for you" she said going to the kitchen.
"What happen?" Loyalty asked.
"We saved you, but you knot out for a while now, we felt like calling the medics, but Firefly said you be fine" Rainbow Blaze explained.
"Who's Firefly?"
"She the best mare, that beats even, princess Celestia. She my mom" Rainbow Dash said.
"Ok is, Jet and Cosmic ok?" he asked.
"You friends are fine, still knot out, but fine" said the fiery mane pegasus said.
"And who are you?"
"I guess it's rude to not induced yourself by heck what to I know-" he chuckle a bit. "-anyway I'm Phoenix Dash, and this is my little, Dashie" he said showing off his filly.
"I'm Rainbow Dash, and I be the best flier other then my dad" Rainbow Dash proudly said.
"I'm Rainbow Blaze, I'm just a friend" Rainbow Blaze said.
"He's been teaching me everything I know" Rainbow Dash said.
"Really? How come your dad is not doing it?"
"He right why aren't you teaching me?"
"Because, I'm not a good teacher and I have to be leaving so-" he quickly cut off what he was saying.
"You leaving me and mommy, why are you doing this? Did do something wrong?" Rainbow Dash was about to cry.
"No of course not it's just..."
"Just what" Rainbow Dash said.
"It's just that I'll be traveling around Equestria to be the best of the best."
"Really that's cool, but I never get to see you."
"I'll send post cards."
"Ok, but you better win for me."
"I will."
"Dude we're here" Cosmic said. Loyalty woke up from his daydreaming to see they were near Cloudsdale. They had flew all the way back to Cloudsdale from Ponyville and Loyalty didn't even notice.
"I was daydreaming again" Loyalty said.
"Don't go daydreaming when it time for the competition now."
"I won't."
"Good let's get you sign up then."
As they walk though the streets of Cloudsdale, they remember their time they had here. They felt a little bad for Jet because they had gone without him. It didn't really matter, they were only here to sign up and that was it. When they finally got Loyalty sign up, Loyalty didn't want to leave just yet. He drag Cosmic to see, if Rainbow Blaze, Firefly, and Phoenix was still here. They roam around the town for a while until they found them.
Soon Loyalty spotted Firefly, and Rainbow Blaze. "HEY FIREFLY AND RAINBOW BLAZE!" he shouted to them.
They turn to look at who said their name. Rainbow Blaze was confuse on who the both ponies were. Firefly didn't recognize Loyalty until she saw Cosmic's wings. "Oh, I remember you" Firefly said.
"Who are they?" Rainbow Blaze asked Firefly.
"I would be surprise if you remember them it's been a while" she said turning to them, but soon surprise by a sudden appearance.
"YOU CALLED!" a white pegasus yelled, starting eveypony.
"AHHH!... wait Pinkie what are you doing here, and how did you change your color?" Loyalty asked.
"Pinkie? That's my sister, I'm Surprise."
"Now wait Pinkie is a earth pony, how are you a pegasus?" Cosmic asked.
"She was born with her family, but once they found, Surprise was a pegasus, my family took care of her since we had connections to her family" Rainbow Blaze said.
"And how to you know this?"
"I was told by my dad, and when we're young I help train her."
"He's the best teacher and husband there is" Surprise said giving Rainbow Blaze a hug.
"So you two are married?" Loyalty asked.
"Yeah we have two foals, both male and female, and both about your age, but younger" Rainbow Blaze said.
"Are they entering the Young Flyers Competition?"
"No, only because they can't enter together."
"I know how they feel, not entering with my friends is tough, but it's not you they want to enter anyways."
"Yeah I don't focus on my speed so I could careless" Cosmic said.
"What you other friend, Jet?" Firefly asked.
"He fine, he has metal wings now so he could at least glide at least" Loyalty said.
"I remember seeing a metal wing pegasus. That was him?" Rainbow Blaze said.
"Probably, he's the only pegasus I know that has metal wings anyways... Hey I just realize where's Phoenix?"
The three friends went silent, until Rainbow Blaze spoke. "He been missing for quite a long while, nopony knows what happen to him. He just suddenly stopped sending post cards. We tried to look for him for three years, even the Wonderbolts couldn't find him, not even Surprise could find him."
"And I'm the best to finder ever, I mostly full of surprises too, like how I'm a Wonderbolt."
"Your a Wonderbolt, I would never expected that" Loyalty said.
"And that's why I was named Surprise because I was a surprise."
"It must be nice to have a actually name" Loyalty said and soon sigh.
"Hey, Blitz how come you still haven't introduce me to these young fliers yet" she said to Blaze.
"Ops I guess I forget this is Loyalty-" he pointed at Loyalty. "-and this is Cosmic-" he than pointed at Cosmic "-I think that was his name, my memory isn't what it used too."
"You lucky you guess right, I gotten a lot more buff then before I even beat, Snowflake in a hoofwrestle once."
"Glad I still remember" he said backing off, at least farther then swinging distance.
"Loyalty, that's a unite name" Surprise said.
"It's not my real name I was born without a name, Jet and Cosmic made this name for me."
"Well, Loyalty is a perfect name for you, you should keep it."
"I like to try and meet my parents one day, I want to know my real name."
"Well it's been nice seeing you, but we should really be getting back to Ponyville, Loyalty should be practicing his performance" Cosmic said.
"Yeah it's nice to see you. If you see a blue mane, red coat pegasus that's our filly, Aqua, and our colt has a red mane and his coat is blue, his name is Crimson" Rainbow Blaze said weaving goodbye.
"We're keep our eyes out" Loyalty said waving his hoof.
Loyalty and Cosmic was getting to the closest point of Cloudsdale to jump off, but of course they got into trouble. It's was the same bullies again, but with two griffins this time.
"What to you want?" Cosmic asked.
"What can't we see the freaks one last time?" the leader of the bullies said, causing his friend to laugh a bit.
"Say what happen to the other freak, did he decided to kill himself because he can't fly anymore" one of the bullies laugh.
"That's it you dead" Cosmic said charging at him. He was so punch by a female griffin.
"I see you meet our new friends" the bully leader said.
Loyalty held back Cosmic, for his own safety. He could beat one griffin, but can't handle a tag team, even though he would tear them apart. "Cosmic clam down, we're not idiots like them" Loyalty said to Cosmic calming him down a bit, well enough that he doesn't have to restrain him.
"Take that back" the female griffin said.
"Make me."
The griffin grab Loyalty by the neck "Said you sorry and I might not puck all of your feathers off, this is your last warning" she threaten. Cosmic would have broke that arm of her if it wasn't that the other griffin and some of the bullies holding him down.
"In your dreams you old hag"
"Gilda STOP!" a red pegasus yelled.
"Keep this up and we're have a Wonderbolt after you" a blue pegasus said.
Gilda and her buddies let go of them and leave. "YOU LUCKY THIS TIME!" Gilda shouted and they storm off somewhere else.
"Are you two ok?" the red pegasus asked?
"We're fine, it's not like they have the guts to do anything" Cosmic said.
"Not the griffins there tear you apart, they're willing to take risks" the blue pegasus said.
"Thank for caring, but we be find, we already be in some fights. By the way who are you?"
"I'm Aqua" the red pegasus said.
"I'm Crimson" the blue pegasus said.
"I'm Cosmic" Cosmic said.
"And I'm Loyalty" Loyalty said. "Hey is you dad Rainbow Blaze?"
"Yeah, how you guess?" Crimson asked.
"We meant him just a while back he told us he had two foals."
"That be us then" Aqua said.
"Can I asked how come you name only matches your mane?" Loyalty asked.
"I think it because mother that it be a funny if she did that."
"I guess that is funny by hay it matches your cutie marks" Loyalty said.
Aqua had a sapphire as a cutie mark, while Crimson has a ruby as a cutie mark "Thank Celestia they do match, I swear if we had our cutie marks swap, I be done with life."
"Wow you really don't like how you name is."
"Well what about you, what kind of a name is, Loyalty no offence."
"It's not my real name, but I don't have a real name."
"How do you not have a really name?" Crimson asked.
"Oh you being born without anypony could be the answer."
"Oh I'm sorry."
"I'm surprise you never heard of us we're usually called the trio of freaks when we used to live here."
"Trio? but there only two of you." Aqua said.
"Our other friend can't fly so he would have to get on a cloud and we carry him here or take the hot air balloon" Cosmic said.
"Why are you guys called the trio of freaks anyways?"
"I my wings are huge and their cosmic black, Loyalty doesn't have a real name, and our friend has mental wings.
"Oh is that the only reason?"
"Yep so, how come you never heard of us?"
"We were touring Equestria, we just finish two days ago."
"That's cool, we're be going now, and don't forget to go the Young Flyers competition and root on, Loyalty"
"Sure if you know our dad you friend in our books."
"See ya" Cosmic said dragging Loyalty as well. They soon jump off of Cloudsdale, while there heading down they decided to practice on their way down back to Ponyville, they only hope Jet thought of a good plan.
The next few day was spent on perfecting Loyalty's performance. He got his strength training with Cosmic and Applejack, he got his speed for Rainbow Dash, and he got information on what ponies like to see from Jet and Twilight. Loyalty was more then hype, he almost couldn't even sleep when the day came, so he had Jet brew a sleeping potion, but that didn't help. So he ask Cosmic to knot him out, but he was able to recover in record time.
When the day came, he quickly gather all of his friends and got on to them into the hot air balloon. He was so excited that he felt like just flying to Cloudsdale, but instead of ditching his friends, he just did a bunch of tricks in the air.
"You might wanna slow down, dear you waste all of you energy" Rarity said.
"I can't help it, Rarity this is a big event for me, it's like how it feels like I have, Pinkie's energy."
"Wowza you must be really excited if you use me as a simile" Pinkie said.
"Well I've been training a lot."
"Yah sure did I'm still amaze that you harvest some much with, Cosmic" Applejack said.
"Really? I felt like I haven't buck that much apples. I've been busy making sure, Loyalty doesn't over do it, and besides, Applejack you really help us as well" Cosmic said.
"Awww shucks that's very nice for you to say that" Applejack said, hiding her blush from Cosmic.
"I can't wait to see your trick" Applebloom said.
"Yeah" Sweetie Belle added.
"It's going to be awesome" Scootaloo added.
"It sure be, you guys really did help" Loyalty said.
"Yeah it was fun helping-" Jet soon notice Cloudsdale "-oh hey, Twily don't forget to cast the spell."
"Don't worry I got it" Twilight said, casting the spell as they landed.
As they land Spike just realize something "Hey, Jet did you just called, Twilight, Twily" This soon caught the attention off everypony and they all stare at the two.
"It's ok, Spike he's aloud to call me anything because his my stallionfriend and I also like it when he does use my nicknames" Twilight said.
"WHAT" everyone said, causing some ponies to look their way.
"Now clam down, we only been dating recently, there no need for a party, Pinkie" Jet said.
"I have no idea what your talking about, Jet" Pinkie said, with a nervous laughter. She soon toss some cards away when nopony was looking.
"Well lucky you, Twi" Applejack said. She soon thought if Twilight was able to get Jet as a stallionfriend she should have no problem with Cosmic, she got to find the right time before it's too late.
"Dude you dating a alicorn, the element of magic and, she save Equestria twice, and she can choice anypony and she choices you. Congrats" Cosmic said.
"Hey come on it's no big deal, besides we're here for, Loyalty let's get to the stadium and find good seats."
"But the competition doesn't start anytime soon why head there now?" Rainbow asked.
"Because this is a big thing, Rainbow look-" Loyalty pointed at the stadium. All types of ponies were heading into the stadium. "-Even signing up took a while, this is a huge event and everypony wants to see."
"I never seen so many ponies here" Fluttershy said hiding behind her hair.
"Hey, Jet too you why this many ponies are coming?" Twilight asked.
"Yeah, after the sonic rainboom, the event became big, but since you friend, Rarity fell from it they cancel the entire event. Once word got out that Young Flyer competition was no longer supported a lot of ponies went depressed, or I assume because when I go for my daily walk around Cloudsdale, I don't see that many pegasus out, probably only like one or two pegasuses, I would see."
"My word, I never expected I would cause that event" Rarity said.
"Yeah you said it, it kind of got better or worse, when the Wonderbolts got the word as well."
"How would it get worse with the Wonderbolts?" Rainbow asked.
"From what I've been told, they cancel, about ten shows to support bringing back the Young Flyer competition back."
"How is that bad?" Scootaloo asked.
"They couldn't change the head counsel mind, they basically wasted time, I heard that they lost about a thousand fans because of this."
"Then how do you explain this?" Applebloom asked.
"I decided to explore into this rumor I heard, stating that somepony else was hosting it,,, and-"
"And what, Jet?"
"-And it's supported by my step-mother."
"Then is this one big trap for handing over the formula?" Twilight asked.
"I can't be."
"How come?" Loyalty asked.
"One, she's in jail or something, second few day back after the fight I got a anonymous letter telling me that a Young Flyer competition was being prepared and that anypony who attends should be prepared for something."
"So it a trap then" Loyalty said, being confuse as well.
"I was suspicious so I asked, Spike to send a letter asking for my step-mother activity journal."
"Oh yeah I remember that letter" Spike said.
"Yes um anyways it said that she was supporting the event, but it agree before she attacked, there for proving this isn't a trap for the formula."
"Then why does the letter asks us to prepare?" Loyalty asked.
"That is what we're to find out" Jet said as they walk inside.
Loyalty soon left his friends and heads to the waiting room. As he walk with his competitors he notice the amount of security pegasuses there was. He was soon stop by a employ telling him he gets his own room, which he was suspicious about. The employ sign and told him the reason. The reason was, some pegasus are sometime not prepare and need some time to remember their performance. It was to make sure nopony was trying to cheat. Loyalty agree to the answer and follow the guard to his room. His room was nice, but something felt a little more solid. He bonder about this until it was his turn to go up.
Twilight and her friends made it their way to the spectator area until a employ said they had a special spot just for her and her friends. All, but Jet and Cosmic ran to see their veiew As they walked Cosmic and Jet was stop by the guards.
"Hey what gives?" Cosmic asked.
"Only her friend are aloud" the guard pony said.
"We're her friend, I'm even dating Twilight" Jet said.
"Ha get a loud of these pegasus, you two are freaks there's no way you be friends with them" the other guard said.
"HEY, JET!-" Twilight said, running down the stairs "The view amazing come check out with me" she said giving him a kiss and soon dragging him up.
"Find go ahead" the guard pony said.
"Thanks I will" Cosmic said, heading up the stairs.
When he got up he got to see the amazing view of the stadium. Their was a lot of ponies that were here, even princess Celestia and Luna was here. Even Shinning and Cadance, but they were all located at the other side.
"Wow I never expected this many ponies actual show up for a reboot, I expect a lot of ponies, but the princess herself" Cosmic said.
"I know it's amazing, it's too bad there on the other side" Twilight said.
"Yeah it's too bad, I would actually like to meet you brother" Jet said.
"I only worry about him being overprotective about me, he might hurt you if you get on his bad side."
"I won't worry that much, he wouldn't hurt somepony with a condition."
"You have a condition?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"What I mean is, he wouldn't attack a wounded pony now would he."
"Of course not, but I probably going to asked, Cosmic to come when you do meant him" Twilight said, causing her friend to laugh for a bit.
"Don't forget, Loyalty his reaction time is the best" Cosmic said.
"I'll keep that in mind now hush everypony it's starting."
The show started with three pegasus doing the opening act. A pink pegasus was on the right side, while a white pegasus was on the left, and in the middle was a blue pegasus with a rainbow mane. The three pegasuses were flying around, doing loop-de-loops and barrel rolls. When a rainbow trail clashes with a another trail it cause a little shock wave, causing rainbows to go everywhere. It didn't take long for Rainbow Dash for who was the blue pegasus was.
"Hey, that pegasus has the same rainbow color mane, as Rainbow Dash" Spike said.
"That's true he does, Rainbow is that your dad?" Twilight asked.
"No he's my mentor."
"You had a mentor" Scootaloo said in surprise.
"Yeah of course I have who do you think teach me my stunts."
"I always thought it was-" Scootaloo got interrupted by Jet.
"Hey look at the pegasus has the same mane style as Pinkie" Jet said, making sure the topic was drop quickly.
"OH MY GOSH! my sister is here" Pinkie said.
"Wait when did you have a pegasus as a sister?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Oh, Surprise, yeah she was born one year after me, she was a surprise."
"But's how is she's a pegasus and your an earth pony" Twilight said.
"Twilight I think it's best if we go with it, this is Pinkie we're talking about" Jet said.
"I guess your right I don't want get injure again.
"How did you get injure?"
"Pinkie sense."
"What's Pinkie sense?" Cosmic asked.
"Oh it's when something happens to my body and it predicts the future" Pinkie said.
"Believable, but what does this have do to with the injures" Jet said.
"How is it believable?" Twilight asked.
"Twilight we live in a world where breast can eat us hole, spells can make us go back in time, and not to mention that one of my potions can basely heal anything it just takes a very long time to make."
"I guess that makes sense. I got hurt by falling objects by Pinkie tail twitching."
"Oh ok, how about we finish watching the opening act?"

They watch as the opening end comes in a close. Near the end each pegasus show off their own skill alone, but during the pink pegasus Applejack notices something.
"Hey, Rainbow isn't that one of your tricks" Applejack said.
"Yeah it sure does look like it" Rainbow said.
"More like she just copy your moves, I mean c'mon those move are totally yours, this is just a pegasus who like to copy" Scootaloo added.
"I don't know squirt, I think her moves are better then my."
"What are you saying, Rainbow your moves are always the best."
"Rainbow soon notice who that pegasus was. "MOM!?"
"What that pegasus is your mom" Rarity said.
"Yeah" Jet said.
"Pretty much" Cosmic added.
"Wait you two knew about this" Applejack said.
"Yup" they both said.
"Explain."
"I remember those two-" Jet pointed at Firefly and Rainbow Blaze "-but I don't know who Surprise is."
"When Loyalty and I were getting him sign up, we encounter them when me and Loyalty were there" Cosmic said.
"That still doesn't answer mah question."
"Was you question about how we knew, Firefly was Rainbow Dash's mother?"
"Eeeyup" Applejack said, copying her brother completely.
"It was when the three of us just became friends (Explains the they became friends) after we awoke, we notice the a pink pegasus taking care of us, while Loyalty was playing with this other foal, which turns out to be Rainbow Dash" Cosmic said.
"So Rainbow's mother took care of you guys?" Scootaloo said.
"Just for that day, I don't think Loyalty stay in contact with you after that, do you remember Rainbow?"
"I don't remember anything from my foalhood" Rainbow said.
"I guess that explain why you couldn't recognize your own mother" Jet said.
"Yeah I guess how about we stop talking and watch the competition."
They are soon went back watching the competition.
Loyalty was finish pondering about why the floor was so solid. He only believe that it was for the other ponies who came watching the event. Somehow he felt like this was wrong, and soon some guards came in telling him to come with them.
"Why?" he asked.
"You next" the guard said.
Loyalty didn't think he was next, it seem a little bit sooner, but since he didn't have a clock to prove he only agree and head with them. As they walked out he notice there not going the right way. "Isn't it this way" Loyalty said pointing in deration he came from.
"No you mistake it this way" the guard said.
"I'm pretty sure it's this way so I just head this way-" he said but was stop by some other guards ponies appearing out of nowhere.
"No you mistaken" the guards said, and soon took a step forward.
Loyalty step back. "What's going on."
"Get him" a guard said. The guards soon sandwich him and soon he was thrown into a cell with three other pegasuses.
"Loyalty is that you" a pegasus said.
"Yeah how did you know my... Firefly, Surprise, Rainbow Blaze what are you doing here?"
"This competition was a set up" Firefly said.
"For what?" Loyalty asked.
"I answer that" a pegasus said.
"Who are you?"
"What can't you recognize you old man" the pegasus.
"No who are you?"
"Loyalty he's your dad" Rainbow Blaze said.
"What, why have you done this."
"Your soon to find out" he said tossing a sleeping potion in their cell.
Loyalty soon woke up one some machine unable to move. "Stop you moving it a lot more easier for the both of us" a pegasus said.
"Oh there just sleeping we only need you to extract the power you have."
"What do I have that other pegasus don't have, aren't we all the same?"
"True, but how many ponies to you know has the little fire you know as loyalty."
"I have no idea what you mean."
"You are a beginning for the new element of loyalty."
"But Rainbow Dash already the element of loyalty, how are there two?"
"We don't know or care, but once your dad takes the element he be able to unlock the Tree of Harmony and take the elements."
"Oh... what's the Tree of Harmony?"
"By Celestia you're stupid, it doesn't matter say goodbye to your element."
"Break sir the professor wishes to speak to for something major" a guard pony said coming in.
"Very well take me too him" Break said leaving Loyalty alone.
"Good that brought me some time" he said to himself. He starts moving his tail trying to find anything on the machine. Soon his tail got stuck in some stuff in the machine. He then yank whatever made his tail got stuck and was soon free, but in doing so made his hind side all oily. "Note to self avoid Rarity" he said to himself.
As he walk out two guards notice him and chase him. Loyalty decided to charge at them as well, with a look, that would make death himself stare. The two quickly became scare and ran into the clouds hoping it wouldn't chase after them ,but they soon forgot the walls of the stadium were had stone in them so they knot themselves out. Loyalty quickly ran where the others were being kept and got them out.
He got to the room and quickly knot out the guard that was inside the room and set them free.
"Thanks, Loyalty, but you should have just left us and save yourself and the ponies who came to this event" Rainbow Blaze said.
"I couldn't just leave you guys."
"I guess that why they call you, Loyalty" Firefly said.
"Yeah come on let's get out of here.
As they walk out of the room, but to be only confronted with his dad, and a bunch of guards. "Going somewhere?"
"Yeah-" he then bash his way to the right "It's called outside, c'mon" he said running, and the others following.
"Well what are you waiting for get him" Loyalty's dad said. "I swear none of them has common sense.
Loyalty was taking care each and every guard there was, when they are escaping. He soon found a way out.
"Next up, Loyalty!" the announcer said as the group came out. Everypony was confuse on what was going on.
Loyalty flew up "Listen everypony this is owww-" soon his dad came out nowhere and started attacking, he fought back a bit "-Dad. Why are doing this, is for the Tree of Harmony, how do you know this would even work?"
"Don't be ridiculous, oh course it would work" He said while exchanging blows.
"WHAT WOULD YOU GAIN FROM THIS!"
"Fame, power, need I go on."
Cosmic tried to take flight, but was block with the guards surrounding them. Celestia and the other were block by multiple of skillful unicorns that knew every trick they had, they also took advantage on how many ponies could be harm by the guards in the statium. Everypony was panicking and trying to get out, but the guards we're making sure they stay put.
Loyalty's dad soon brought out and put on a experimental weapon out "Screw it, I gave you a chance to hand it over, now it's over" he said then stab him, and impairing his wings.
"LOYALTY!" All of his friends said.
"Now his element is my-" he was soon shot down by a lighting bolt, and was caught by Break
"Thanks for getting me this element, Bravo, but you service is no longer need" Break said taking the element.
"We had a deal" Bravo said.
"Yeah we had a deal, but my plan doesn't need you goodbye my old friend" he said dropping him down.
As he fell he was surprise to be caught by Loyalty. "Don't worry dad I got you."
"Son why?"
"I might not have the element anymore, but I'm still loyal to my parents."
Bravo couldn't said anything, he had betray him took flying from him and acted to like he did nothing wrong.
"Bravo I can't fly but you can so hurry up."
Bravo went up and carried his son and landed on the on a platform that's under the stadium and rest for a while.
Cosmic finally broke through the guards defenses with the help of Applejack, he quickly made charge at Break. He tried to throw a punch at him, but miss. "Well it been a while son" Break said.
"You don't even get to call me you son."
'You know you should respect ME!" Break shout, firing a fireball at him.
Cosmic tried to dodge, but he soon realize the fireball was homing on to him. He flew straight up trying to get away from the fireball as best he can. He wings might be huge, but it gave him more power to fly higher. He was soon higher then the highest mountain, and was still shot down by the fireball, and like a firework it exploded. Cosmic was knot out and was falling to his doom.
"COSMIC!" Jet shouted. He soon was able to break the guards defenses as well, and he jumped for him. In his mind was he Loyalty is gone, but he wasn't going to lose him either if he could do something about it. Cosmic was falling fast, but since Jet had metal wings he could easily catch up to him, until Break shot another fireball and it him in no time at all.
Break laughed at the two pegasuses falling. Loyalty couldn't watch as his friends just fall, so he did what he does best and jump and tried to catch happen. Soon everypony was cheering on Loyalty, once they spotted him, diving down for his friends. As Loyalty dive down, he remember that fateful day, when Jet was falling. He might not have save him, but he was able to catch him, and he was planning to catch both his friends and save them both. He took it to himself to always to be loyal no matter anything, and soon the fire that Break was holding, started growing. It grew so big that it burn Break's hoof and he had to let it go. The fire came back to Loyalty fast, and his eyes started to glow, and before he knew his body different, event his cutie mark was different. He now had a majestic blue mane, while his fur became a deep space blue color, and his cutie mark became a star. His wings also grew a bit bigger, but still it match his fur. He felt like he was a new pony as he dive down catching Jet and Cosmic, while leaving a cosmic blue trail, it even has mini stars. The two pegasuses wounds heal instantly when Loyalty was done changing in his new form. The element also gave something little to both Jet and Cosmic. Cosmic was granted him power like an earth, while it gave Jet, the power of flight. Loyalty let go his friends and they follow behind him. The trio charged at Break and beat the hay out of him, Cosmic didn't even hold back. As he went down and many royal guards and night guards came in arresting the guards and the two dads. The trio decide to do a small act before the guards shut down the competition.
Once the three friends landed, Twilight instantly tackle her stallionfriend, Cosmic came to see Applejack, but got a slap in the face and soon a kiss. Loyalty walked up to Firefly and Rainbow Dash.
"That was pretty cool so I guess it's ok for you to date my daughter" Firefly said.
Rainbow Dash blush "Mom don't said things like that, it's embarrassing."
"What. Are you saying you don't want to date him" Firefly said with a trollish grin.
"What no umm. uhh, just-" Rainbow was soon push by her mother into Loyalty causing them to kiss. After they broke off Rainbow Dash was silent, embarrass, and mad at her mother for doing that.
"Hey, Rainbow" Loyalty said.
"Yeah" she was on autopilot now.
"Do you want go out with me?"
"Sure."
They soon walked to the others to tell them the news, while Rainbow Blaze walked to Firefly "You know you just gave you daughter the most awkward way to get a stallionfriend" he said.
"I know it was fun to watch it was more entertaining then your nervously break down when you were asking out, Surprise."
"Hey better then, Phoenix when he asked you during his a victory speech, I remember you dare not to show you face at all at high school" Rainbow Blaze said, with a chuckle.
"I thought we all agree not talk about how he ask me out."
"Maybe I should tell, Surprise she wasn't there."
"No please don't do that" she begged as they walked over to Surprise and her sister.
Later after Loyalty was finish talking to his friends, two guards brought Loyalty's dad because he had something he should know. "You should know your name is Chrom."
"No your mistaken, my name is Loyalty, I am a different pony now, I'm no longer your son-"
"Very well, one last thing I might not be your dad, but you still have a mother" he said and soon left with the guards, but before Loyalty says one last thing as he's taken away.
