**Di-Chronos Castle Garden**
"I thought I'd find you here." A pony said, and walked into the center of the garden, clad in a black and red armor that glowed unnaturally. The young colt had long silk-like mane with split ends yellow in color. His fur was the purest white, almost impossible to possess among other ponies, and his eyes, the color of emeralds, and a wingspan far greater than any other alicorn.

"Oh, hey man." Another colt responded wearily as he turned to who called him. This one wore an armor of crimson, matching his fur and complementing his black and yellow mane with a bomb style pony tail. His eyes were a blue color, that sometimes seemed to be purple.

"Wasn't expecting to see you here." He said.

"Fair enough, I've just returned from a mission Prince Hindsight sent me on. Wasn't too difficult in my opinion." The white colt stated.

"Hmm... seems about right for him. I kinda wondered why you were gone for so long. Nevertheless, it's still good to see you, Icarus." the Crimson one stated. Icarus smiled, taking a look past his friend to notice him catering to the garden, which was something he didn't seem very often.

"Were you taking care of the garden for me in my absence?" He asked feeling very appreciative.

The Crimson colt rubbed his nose, understanding the aim of his question. "Y-yeah, had to do it since you were gone for so long." He said

Icarus nodded, "Thanks man." He said taking a small bucket into his mouth and moving onto another part of the tiny garden.

The two continued caring for the castle flora in silence, feeling nothing really need to be discussed when a thought suddenly passed through the Crimson pony's head. "Hey, Icarus?" He asked, trying to catch his attention.

Icarus heard his voice and flicked up an ear to signify he was listening. "What is it, Skyblazer?" He asked.

"An idea just popped into my head, and I don't think we've done this in a while." He said, placing the tool he was using down, before walking over to Icarus, who was still tending to a flower bed. "How about a special race?" He asked.

Icarus turned his head before placing down his bucket, seeming to be done with his work as he turned back to Skyblazer, a type of curiosity in his eyes, "What kind of race are you talking about?" He asked.

The two stared at each other in silenhce, slowly building up the other's inner flame in expectation of what Skyblazer was about to propose. It's true that it had been quite the while since last they tried this so Icarus was a bit ecstatic for a chance to race with his childhood friend.

Skyblazer walked over to Icarus and placed a hoof over his neck before whispering into his ear, "An Endurance Race."

**Castle Interior**

In Di-Chronos Castle's dark halls a beautiful young alicorn mare as white as snow by the name of Mystical Night is heading to the throne room. Her parents said they had something important they wanted to discuss. The sight that that greeted her horrified her. There, lying in a pool of blood were her parents, horrificly dismembered.

A large pitch black alicorn was standing over their corpses. "Oh my, it seems you have made quite the mess here, dear sister." the figure says, turning towards her. It was none other than her older brother Foresight. He was covered in their parents blood. "Now how can we fix this?" he asks, his horn charging up.

"B-brother? How could you do this?" Misty demands, backing up.

Before uttering another word, he released the magic he was charging, causing the 2 to switch places perfectly, leaving Misty covered in blood, and Foresight clean as a whistle. "I think you mean, what have you done?" he asks, smirking at her.

"No one would believe such a farce! Now explain yourself!" she yelled.

"Oh dear sister, no one needs to believe ME." he says, stomping his hoof to the floor, sounding an alert. Within seconds, a large group of guards converges on their location. "Seize her, she murdered the king and queen!"

Misty looks around in a panic, trying to figure a way out of this. She could handle the guards if she needed to, but they were innocent in this. They were just following orders. But she knew she had no chance of beating her brother. "Mark my words brother, you'll pay for this!" she shouts, releasing a blinding flash from her horn.

Foresight and the guards quicy cover their eyes. By the time the light dissipated, Misty was long gone. "I don't care what it takes, I need her here yesterday!” Foresight orders.

“Yes lord Foresight!” His soldiers yell in response, chasing after her, "That should buy me some time." Mistys says, charging her horn to open a portal to escape. The problem was that it took time to both charge the energy, and set a destination.

"Did you say time?" foresight asks, suddenly warping above her. He fires a blast straight for her. It hits her in the back, sending her smashing into the ground at full speed. She groans, trying to get up, but winces in pain. Her left wing twisted at a horrifying angle, quite obviously broken.

“Well well well, I must commend you for lasting this long, Misty.” he says condescendingly. “But enough of the games, time to give me what I want,” he says, his horn starting to glow. She feels him draining her power, and getting weaker with every second.

“N-not this time.” she says, mustering what little power she has left to open a portal just beneath her body, slipping through.

“What the fuck?!” Foresight shouts, trying to go after her, but the portal closes before he gets the chance. “Why that sneaky bitch.” he says.

The guards he sent after her soon arrive, panting heavily. “D-did you get her, sire?” one asked. He glared at him, firing a blast of magic straight at his head. It literally blasts his head off, sending it smashing against the wall with a sickening splat. His headless corpse falls to the ground.

“Does that answer your question?" he asks. The other guards cower in fear. His horn glows and the guard is brought back to before he was killed. While he does gave a tendency to kill his guards when he's mad, he can reset time so they don't stay dead, but they still remember exactly how it felt.

“Now get out of my sight!” He snarls. The guards quickly do as ordered.
Foresight closes his eyes, trying to sense her location. ”Fuck, her power is too weak to pick up. I'll find you, you stupid little hussy.” He says, angrily.

**Human world**

A young man is driving home from work. As he pulls into the driveway, he sees a bright flash coming from his the upstairs window. He's always lived alone, so he knew there shouldn't be anyone in the house.

“A burglar?” he wonders to himself. He goes into his house, grabbing an aluminum bat he keeps by the door just in case. The house itself seems fine, nothing had been touched. He headed upstairs, certain he'd seen something. He was shocked to see Misty laying on the ground in massive pain.

** Di-Chronos Courtyard**

Skyblazer and Icarus made their way to the Courtyard to innitiate their race, discussing the details on the way.

"So, the rules are simple: we each keep flying until we can't anymore. Sound easy enough?" Skyblazer said, looking around to see other groups of Knights shuffling about as if in a hurry of some sort, but he didn't let it get to him.

Icarus nodded, understanding full well. "Should be easy enough, with my wingspan, should be easy pickings for me." He said, looking around and noticing the soldiers roaming around. "Huh, must be almost time for break." Icarus said.

** Past Sanctum**

"Ooh, you've done something terribly wrong, dearest brother. It seems you'll be coming for me next, since you're unable to locate Misty, but if only your skills with time were as good as mine." A lone pony said shuffling through some books as if looking for something crucial "I hope he treats you well, Mystical Night, and...." He pauses for a moment hearing the sound of steps approaching. "...come back to me safely, sister."
.
**Human World**

The young man was at a loss for words, starting to back up. the floor creaked under his foot. Misty'ears perked up, and she quickly bolted to her feet, taking up a defensive stance. Considering how much pain she was in, it didn't look very convincing.

"Whoa, easy! Im not looking for a fight!" he tells her.

She ponders his words for a few seconds before collapsing to the floor from exhaustion. He rushes to her, clearly concerned. She was literally out cold. "This is awful." he says, helping her into his bedroom. He lays her unconcious form on his bed. "This can't be good. I'm not a doctor, but who could I turn to?" he thinks, pacing around restlessly. "All I can do now is wait for her to waken."

A few hours later, Misty starts to waken, looking around groggily. "Uh... W-where am I?"

"You are in my home. My room to be precise." the young man tells her, sitting in a nearby chair. "You've been out for a few hours. Considering how bad your injuries look, it's not surprising. I'm more shocked by the fact I have a winged unicorn on my bed, and a talking one at that."

Misty starts trying to get up. "I-I have to go. If my brother finds me..." she starts, immediately collapsing again in pain.

"Please stop, you'll just hurt yourself worse." he tells her.

"You are abslutely right." she says, laying her head back down. "My name is Mystical Night, but I prefer Misty. May I ask yours?"

"I'm Shawn, it's a pleasure. How did you end up here?"

"I come from a land called Apocalypse. There my parents ruled fairly and justly. My older brother Foresight was in charge of our military. He's always been very calm and calculated, but with a very short fuse. And when he gets angry, it's not a pleasant sight. But even then, I never thought he'd..." she starts, tearing up.

"If it's too painful, you don't have to talk about it..." Shawn says.

"No, you should hear it. He murdered our parents. the worst part is, he framed me for his dirty work." she says, shaking angrily.

"What? Why would he do something like that?"

"The night before they died, they told me they had something important to discuss with me, but it'd have to wait until morning. I'm not certain, but I think they were going to name their successor. My brother must not have liked their choice, so he killed them to take the throne for himself. He even tried to steal my power so I wouldn't be able to overthrow him." she says shuddering.

"That's horrible, but you are safe here, you have my word."

"I don't know, my brother can sense my energy wherever I am. There's only one explanation for why he hasn't found me." she says, tring to charge her horn. But nothing happens, not even a tiny spark. She sighes. "Just as I thought, that last portal drained the last of my magic. I'm stranded here for now."

"Uh, portal?"

"I can control spatial dimensions, opening portals to other worlds at will. Foresight can control time of the future, and his twin brother Hindsight can control time of the past. Wait, Hindsight! If he can't get to me, Foresight'll..." she say tryisg to get up, but collapses.

"Slow down, you said it yourself that you are out of power. How would you even get to him? Besides, we need to get that wing taken care of. Luckily, I know someone who could help. And he knows how to keep a secret."

"I don't want to be any more trouble.'

"If you have a better idea, I'm listening."

Misty stays silent.

"Just leave it to me." he says, heading downstairs to get his phone. A strange young man alpears before him, a strange energy pouring off him. "And who tbe hell are you?"

"Some introduction." he says, rolling his eyes.

"Are you here for Misty? If so, I suggest you get the fuck out!" he warns.

"Try me."

"I'm givig 3 seconds, asshole! 1... 2... 3!" Shawn shouts, charging at the figure before him. He tries to punch him in the face, but his hand just passes right through him, like hes not even there. "What the fuck?" Shawn asks, clearly confused.

'Sloppy. You won't be protecting anyone with moves like that.' the man says.

'Oh yeah? Try this!' Shawn says, trying to punch him again. He tries 3 more, not landing a single punch. 'Why the fuck cant I hit you?' he asks, confused.

'You didn't say please.' he answers with a smirk.

'Fine please!' he shouts trying one last time. This punch actually hits, but the man acts like he doesn't even feel it.

'Are you done?' he asks, acting bored.

'Who the hell are you?'

'I am King Terra, an old friend of Misty's parents. It's good to see you.' he says.

'Wait, you mean I...' shawn starts, trying to gather his thoughts. 'Sorry, I didn't realize.'

'No need for explanation. you were trying to protect the princess here. I admire that. I just wanted to see what you're capable of. As you are now, you aren't very impessive.'

'Well excuse me your highness. We're not all superhuman. Anyway... what brings you to our little neck of the universe?'

'Shawn, we have something we need to discuss. When shes fully recovered, I need you to get to Equestria. Once there, seek out Princess Celestia. Misty's too proud to admit it, but she is going to need their help if she's gonna overthrow her brother. Can I count on you?' he asks.

'Why me? I'm just a nobody. Surely there are others better for the task?' Shawn asks.

'Don't sell yourself short. You showed no hesitation in trying to protect her. You'll be fine.'

'But, what could I possibly do?'

'When the time comes, you will know. For now, just watch after her. Oh, and give her this.' he says, pulling out a small pendant. 'If she transfers her power to this, her brother won't be able to track her.'

'Ok, you have my word I'll keep her safe.' Shawn says, taking it.

King terra nods. 'And with that, I must take my leave. Good luck to you.' he says, disappearing.

'This just keeps getting better.' Shawn says, calling his friend.

** Canterlot Castle Exterior **

Foresight warps in fron of the castle gates. 'Lord Foresight of Apocalypse, seeking an audience with Princess Celestia.' he tells the guards out front. They nod, letting him in. He heads straight for the throne room.

Celestia sees him enter. 'Ah, prince Foresight, I haven't seen you in at 300 years. It's good to see you.' she says.

'And I you, but I come with troubling news...' he says.

'Well, don't leave me in suspense, what is it?'

'Misty has betrayed my family. She murdered our parents and fled to I don't know where.' he tells her.

'This really is troubling. Your parents and I were good friends. Is there anything we can do?' she asks.

'No, but if you hear anything about where she could be, please inform me as soon as possible.'

'Of course, I do hope we find her soon.'

Foresight nods, leaving shortly after.

'You can't really believe that bullshit.' Luna says to her telepathicly.

Celestia shakes her head. 'Of course not, but if I let on I know, I run the risk of starting a war with him. I want to avoid that if possible.'

'I wouldn't count on it, he's been wanting it for as long as I could remember...'

'That is true, all we can do for now is hope Misty is somewhere safe.'

** Di-Chronos Courtyard**

The two ponies promptly make their way to the center of the courtyard, reason being for it's very ample space and lack of anything destructible when they take off. Skyblazer took this time to stretch a little, knowing that his blonde comrade already had vs workout returning to the kingdom. Once ready, they got into positions and readied themselves.

Icarus was surprised how into this he was getting. Normally, he'd greet this like any other Endurance Run, but something specifically about this race would hold a special place in his heart. "Are you ready, Sky?" He asked his crimson plated friend only to get a nod in response.

The two sat in silence as they prepared for takeoff. The two looking up as the clock was striking 11. They both nodded at the clock, agreeing to use that as their starting.

Five..four..three..two....one.

A loud gong-like noise rang throughout the Kingdom, and now it all begins.

** Post Sanctum **

"Huh, What's this? Why is...Hinds?" Foresight said to himself feeling that he was up to something, but couldn't tell due to a powerful magic. "Although Misty was quite the pushover, Hinds will not be so easy. I dare say I may even need some...outside assistance." He said shuffling through some documents on "Elements". "One thing's for sure, he's obviously onto me."

**Human World**

Before long, Shawn's friend Brandon arrived. He was a local vet, and Shawn figured that if anyone could help, it's him. 'Alright, so where is this injured animal'

'She's right inside, but I should warn you, she isn't your average animal.'

'How so?'

'You've worked on birds and horses, right?' Shawn asked as he lead him inside.

'That is corrrect.'

'Do you think you can work on a horse with wings?' he asks as they reach his room.

Brandon literally doubles over in shock. 'Whoa, what the hell?!'

Misty looks up weakly, the pain in her eyes obvious, both physical and emotional.

'Do you think you can help?'

Brandon takes a few moments to calm down. 'This is truly real? You aren't trying to mess with me?'

'I swear on my royal blood I'm the real thing.' Misty says.

Brandon jumps when she speaks. 'She talks too?' After a moment, he sighes. sighes. 'Ok, I'd never turn down an animal in trouble.' he says, inspecting her injuries.

"You have nothing to worry about. Brandon here is the best vet I know.' Shawn assures her.

"I'll trust you on this." she says, laying her head back down.

"Ok, I need to put ybe bone in your wing back in place. I'm going to give you something to dull the pain, but be forewarned, even with it, it is still going to hurt, a LOT." Brandon warns her, taking out a small syringe.

Misty nods readying herself.

He takes the syringe, injecting it into the base of her wing. He waits a few moments for it to take effect before placing his hands on her wing gently. "Just let me know when you areready." She nods quietly. He nods, setting the bone in position. Misty cries out, her ire for her brother being the only thing keeping her going through the pain.

"It's ok, your doing great. Just a little more." he assures her, turning to Shawn. "Come here and hold it place." He nods, quickly doing as instructed. Brandon quickly gets what he needs then comes back and wraps her wing in splints. "ok, tbat should hold you, but you shouldn' move too much for the next few months." he tells her.

"Thank you for this, really. I trust you can keep this just between us?" Shawn asks.

"Shawn, how long have you known me? You know I can keep a secret. If she experiences any pain, which is likely, give her a few of these. They should reduce it to a more manageable level." he says, handing him a container of pills.

"Thank you, truly." Misty tells him.

Brandon smiles. "If you 2 need anything, you have my number." he says, heading out.

Shawn takes out the pendant king Terra gave him. "Before I forget, an old friend of your family said to give you this."

"That pendant belonged to my mother. What did he say?"

"He says that if you send your power into it, your brother can't sense you. He also mentioned someplace called Equestria. Any idea what that is?"

"It's a country my family has dealt with before. My family and Equestria's rulers are old friends. I'd rather not let them get involved. It'd mean war, and I don't want that to happen." she says, taking the pendant.

Shawn down next to Misty. 'So, what exactly are you?'

'Exactly what do you mean?'

'Well, horses in this world usually don't have wings, or horns. Except in legends or fairy tales. And they certainly don't talk.'

'Horses here sound a lot like what we call earth ponies. Well I'm whats called an alicorn.' she says.

'An ali-what?'

'In my world, and in Equestria, we have unicorns and pegasi in addition to earth ponies. Alicorns can fly and use magic. In addition, you'd be hard pressed to find one that isn't royalty.' she explains.

'Wow, I've never met royalty before.'

'It's not as glamorous as it seems. It can be rather exhausting at times.'

'I see... I should let you get some rest. You need your strength. If you need anything, I'll be on the couch downstairs.'

'But isn't this your bed? I wouldn't feel right...'

'Save it. You're my guest. Plus it's the only bed here.'

"As you wish. Thank you for your hospitality." she says, soon falling asleep.

Shawn heads downstairs a falls asleep on the couch.

**Di-Chronos Castle Garden**

As the bells tolled, the 2 quickly take off, sending a shockwave over the ground with the force of their liftoff. Skyblazer was in front with Icarus not far behind. "You do realize this is an endurance race, right?" Icarus asks.

"Who said I couldn't keep this up? Now are you gonna show me what you can do or not?"

"Are you really that eager to lose again?"

"If that is the case, I suggest you take that stick out of your ass and kick it into high gear." Skyblazer says with a smirk, getting a boost of speed.

Icarus couldn't help but chuckle. The young pegasus never could resist a chance to try and beat him. "You want a race, then you've got it." he says, quickly accelerating.

Skyblazer eeps as he looks back, seeing Icarus moving up on him fast. He flew upward, soon leaving the atmosphere.

Icarus wasn't long in passing him, smirking back at him. "Ready to concede yet?"

"Ok ok, you win." Skyblazer, says, slowing down. Icarus flew back to him. "I'm going to beat you one of these days."

"Not as long as I have these wings."

"Well thanks for the commentary, smuggy mcsmuggerton.." he says, rolling his eyes.

"Don't be so hard on yourself. You are quite the talented flier. Considering your young age, you have the potential to be one of the best." he assures him.

"Well thanks for the encouragement."

Icarus nods, glancing at the Apocalypse sun. "Hey Skyblazer, rest here a moment. I want to take a closer look at the sun."

"Are you sure that is safe?"

"Well the sun should be fine after the last flare year. According to the solar cycle of our star, we shouldn't have another flare for almost a wole year." he says, taking off towards it.

Skyblazer knew he had a point, but he couldn't shake the feeling something bad was going to happen. And these feelings of his were usually right.

**Canterlot Castle**

Celestia was pacing around her chambers, wondering what they could do. "I just wish we could at least find out if Misty is safe."

"There is one way we can check." Luna interupts. "I can enter her dreams and ask her the situation." she suggests.

"It's the least we can do. Please, take care of it as soon as possible."

Luna nods, heading for her chambers. She lays on the bed, falling asleep. Once in the dream world, she enters the gate to Misty's dream.

**Misty's dream**

Misty was tossing and turning in her sleep, the events of her escape plaguing her nightmares.Suddenly, everything turns dark. "What's going on?"

"I'm sorry to intrude, but I had to check on you." Luna says, materializing in front of her.

"Luna? It's been ages!"

"That it has. It's good to see you are still alive. Where are you right now? Are you safe?"

"For the time being. I ended up in the human world. My wing was broken in the escape, and my magics used up for a while, so I'm stranded here. But a young man was kind enough to take me in. I'm gonna be out for a couple months until I'm fully healed." Misty says, sighing.

"I should look into him while I have a chance. You should know your brother is spreading news that you killed your parents. He even tried to tell us, but rest assured my sister and I don't believe a word of it."

"Glad to hear that you are still on my side. Could you do me a favor? Would you check in on my subjects from time to time and let me know what they think?"

"Of course. I should go, but stay safe." she says, fading away. She then enters the gate to Shawn's dream.

**Shawn's dream**

Luna enters an underwater scene. "Hmm, curious." she says, having a look around. Something quickly swims past her. "I know you are there, come on out."

A small dolphin swims up to her. "Well, this is peculiar." he says in Shawn's voice. "To say you are out of place here would be putting it mildly. What are you doing here?"

"I guess you could say I'm here to fish out your intentions."

"Oh haha, nice one." he says, turning to his human form. "Considering the fact you are an alicorn, would I be correct in assuming you are referring to Misty?"

Luna remains silent, simply nodding.

"You have nothing to worry about, she's in good hands. I'll take good care of her."

"I'd say her first priority right now is regaining her strength. Are you willing to look after her until then?"

"Of course, I'd never turn down someone in trouble. I just wish there was more I could do to help." he says with a sigh. "Now if you don't mind my asking, who are you? And how do you know her?"

"I am Princess Luna. Misty and I have been friends for a long time. She's even helped me in a few of our battles."

"I see. Well it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Shawn. You have my word she'll be well taken care of."

"I sense no lies in your words, you don't have to reassure me of anything. You are truly a kind soul."

"It's nice of you to say so, but you give me too much credit."

"I think you don't give yourself enough. Stop doubting yourself so much."

"I guess. So, do you always enter the dream of others?"

"I am the princess of the night. It is my duty to oversee the Realm of Rest, and its temporary but frequent visitors. So, the short answer would be yes."

"Your people must feel safe with you watching over them when they sleep."

"That depends... Do you feel safe with me here?"

"Me? Well, now that I know you mean well, I have no reason not to."

"Well then, knowing that, I feel content in saying they do." she says, smiling warmly. "It's about time I go. I leave Misty in your capable hands."

"Will we be seeing more of you?"

"I may check in from time to time. I did promise Misty I'd keep an eye on her subjects through their dreams and report back to her. So we will see." she says as she disappears.

**Canterlot**

Luna wakes up, heading back to her sister.

"How is she?" Celestia asks.

"Well..." she starts, informing her of the situation.

"It's good to know she's in good hands. I worry for her subjects though. Who knows what Foresight is doing to them."

"Are you sure we shouldn't do something?"

"As we are now, we would stand no chance against them. All we can do now is wait."

**Apocalypse star system**

Icarus smiled back at his friend as he decided to observe the grand luminary of their star system. His wings seemed to glow magnificently as he flew, leaving behind small ethereal feathers that followed him. As he got closer, the sun's rays actually startedchanging thecolor of his armor as he basked in the light. "How long has it been since we last saw each other?"

Skyblazer could only look on in awe. His friend would appear to resemble what some called angels. The sun would gleam a different color occasionally as it was known to do,but something would happen that would unsettle them both, ast the sun turned a dark shade of blue, starting to rumble ominously. Whatever was coming, Skyblazer knew it was bad news. "Icarus, get out of ther! NOW!" he warns as loud as he could muster.

Icarus looked back at him in confusion, until he felt strange waves coming from the sun. Not wanting to find out what was going on, he turned to leave. He suddenly felt an intense amount of heat behind him. Turning back one last time, he jumped when a torrent of plasma erupted from the surface, straight at him! Caught off guard, he is only able to evade enough to escape complete obliteration. But it still proves catastrophic as the contact with his left wing causes him to scream in pain as he erupts into flames.

Skyblazer could only look on in horror. No, I should've stopped him. "No! I won't lose him!" he shouts, flying towards icarus as fast as he could. His emotions driving him, he was reaching speeds even he didn't know he could attain. The strain would prove too much for him however, causing him to black out.

Back on Apocalypse, the ponies would watch in amazement as an unpredicted flare shot from the sun. Even more impressive was how the flames seemed to follow a trail back towards theor planet. Seeing the sudden burst of light headed towards them, the guards in the courtyard began clearing out, for fear they might be caught in the blast whenever touched. What happened next was a bit surprising to everyone, as suddenly a white pillar surrounded b black specks of stardust suddenly shot into the sky towards the sudden light at almost similar speeds.

**Several hours later**

Skyblazer started to come around, looking about him groggily. "Ah, you're awake." he would hear through the ringing sounds of hoofbeats in the background.

"Where am I? What happened?" he asks. It takes him a few moments to recall the events from earlier. "Wait, where's Icarus?!"

"You both are in a .tal Your friend shall be fine, despite his severe condition. I have already seen it. Though I am surprised by you, young one. To reach speeds that great is something only a few are privileged to experience." the voice said.

"I had to reach him, no matter what. But it still wasn't enough." he sais with a sigh. "I knew it was a bad idea, I should have stopped him." His eyes started to focus, giving him his first look at this stranger. It appeared to be a strange pony robed in mystical garments.

"Nothing you could've done at the time would have helped your friend. For you see, that moment is locked in time, my boy." he said as he walked literally through the many doctors and nurses in the infirmary to get to him.

"I can at least take solace in knowing he'll survive. Were you the one who helped us?"

"Twas not I, but my master that permitted your aid. I was merely the vessel that brought you here when he came back with you."

"I see... Might I ask your name? Or your master's for that matter?"

"None may know of the master, lest by his outstretched hoof. If he wishes to speak to you, he will have already done so. For he is 'of the past'."

"Fair enough. At least tell him he has my thanks."

"He is already aware of you gratitude."

"Is there anything else I should know?"

The mysterious pony thinks for a moment before shaking his head. "Nothing at this moment. You should be healed in a couple of hours. But I would suggest holding off on seeing your friend until after his surgery."

"Thank you for the tip, I'll keep that in mind."

The robed pony would nod, letting out a ghastly laugh before disappearing in a puff of smoke.

"Well, that wasn't at all creepy." Skyblazer says, rolling his eyes. Suddenly, all of the staff became aware of skyblazer being awake, moving over to see if he was okay. /Strange they didn't notice earlier./ he thinks to himself, wondering if its because of his mysterious 'friend. He assured them he was ok. They told him his injuries were minor. He would merely have to rest for a few hours. He nods, thanking them for tellig him, getting comfortable.. The staff soon moved on, attending to patients that needed their attention.

Some time later, he overheard two nurses talking, mentioning a pony from a few hours ago. He was still in surgery, and badly burnt. He had to be sure. "Excuse me? That pony you are talking about, I think I know him. Please, tell me about his condition."

They turn to him. "Huh? Oh, you must be the one they brought in with him. Uh well, he seems to be pulling off miracles just by being alive right now, but we think its only a matter of time beforehe fails. doing what we must to keep him alive, but nothing is changing. I'm truly sorry."

"I thank you for tellig me." he says, clearly worried. Could that strange pony have lied? No, I have to believe. He WILL make it, I know it." he keeps telling himself.

To be continued...
