Spike has been call names and teated like dirt since the night of the party, the six don't talk to him or listen but force him to do work for them, the CMC and his other friends avoid him but only talk to him by making him feel bad be calling him names and such, and now he dreams of seeing other worlds. lastly he goes to strange worlds that are odd as his but they people there don't seen to care that a dragon is talking to them.
Walking seems like the only thing a poor soul can do when all those you know hate you and annoy you. Walking seems so calm but sad at the same time. Why does these things happen to those who do nothing wrong? Why act so rude to a friend who was with you from the start? Who may you ask when all turn against you? These are questions that a poor purple and green spiked dragon was asking himself. Walking to one place that may answer his question, and if they can't then who will?
Spike, our poor young and once loved dragon now walks a path to a tree that may answer one...NO two questions of his. On his way there for some odd but good reason, no meat eating animals haven't gotten to him. It’s as if they can feel his pain and don't even bother to attack him. Spike felt as though someone else was walking the same sad path as he was but this time there was a dark and hate filled feeling to it. Spike passed some flowers that bloomed near the stairs to the Elements as Spike was walking down to the Tree of Harmony. When he finally got near it, he stared at it for a moment with a hateful glare before speaking.
"I want to know what I really meant to do for my life but there's a few things I would like to get off my chest. Why...Why did you make my life a living hell?!!! Why have me work at a young age?!!! Why have me be the joke of every child abuse?" Spike took a moment to wait for a moment for a response but nothing. "But what I really want to ask... is why did you give them Keyblades?!!!" Spike finished with his angry filled questions with a calm but hate feeling question. The elements didn't say a word just stood there. Not even the elements themselves would speak to him. Rage built up inside him as he stares at the tree.
"You answer to so many others years ago, you were a god to all kind who cried for help but when one who needs your help the most...y-you just do nothing and watch as they suffer!!! What’s the use of harmony when those who need it the most can't have it! Why make a unicorn that can destroy the world with an old spell that can cause unknown mayhem to her loved ones and when she wins, she does learn from what it cause, she just goes out to learn more dark magic!!!!" Spike paused for a second waiting for a response but nothing.
"Why make her a princess when she can't do the simple things like make toast or even clean after herself!!! Why have her learn friendship with new friends and make her forget those who was her friend for years and have them live in the shadow of friendship past???!!!! Why have her and the others go out to hurt many just to learn a friendship lesson!!! I've been with her for years and I learn more things on friendship than they have!!!" again he waited for a response but again nothing. Spike began to get annoyed by the tree not responding.
"I have learned more serious lessons on friendship than they could EVER think!!! Why give favor to those who hurt others just to gain power??!!! Why those who show good will have to be treated like a slave to those who don't care!!!!" Spike yelled at the elements. If he looked behind him he would have seen a magic rainbow shield blocking the entrance keeping anyone from getting in or out.
"Why? What have I ever done to live this way? Why have me work for my whole life? Why have me treated like a punching bag for anyone to enjoy? Why have good things happen to me then have it taken away from me? Why have me live in everybody's shadow? Why have me live with someone who never even loved and trusted me?" Spike asked the tree again but the elements still did nothing. Spike was getting tired of this.
"Why won't you answer me!!!" Spike yelled at them.
Nothing.
Spike exhaled before speaking one last time.
"Here's my real question....Can you change your fate?" Spike said waiting for something to happen but sadly nothing. Spike exhaled some black smoke before closing his eyes, looked down, turned around and began to walk away. Unknown to him, his question was answered.
As the crystal ponies walked through the peaceful night, the crystal heart started to spin faster than it does before. Ponies began to notice it spinning faster and faster by the second, Princess Cadence and Shining Armor showed up at the scene, they had seen it spin fast before but not as fast as now. The two looked at it as it went faster to the point where ponies began to move away from it.
The crystal heart began to glow brighter than it ever did in crystal history. It soon shot a beam of light towards the frozen wasteland to Equestia past Celestia's castle and passed by the new Twilight's castle and into the Everfree forest. Back to the crystal rulers, they watched as the beam of light shot out of the core of the crystal heart. When the bream was passing by them, the whole kingdom began to glow as bright as the sun then a super loud 'bang' was heard. All the crystal ponies looked up to the night sky, a rainbow was shot out of the tip of the castle, usual everything would turn to crystal when this happen and a happy/ loving feeling goes throuh everypony's body but it was replaced by a bitter and hateful feeling. Cadence and Shining quickly teleported to Celestia. Celestia was getting ready for bed when a bright light shot from the sky went right passed her room's window. Celestia rubbed her eyes to make sure she was still awake. She ran to her balcony, the light went straight to the Everfree.
'Why would it go...there.' she thought to herself.
As she was thinking to herself, her room door open and who entered was the moon princess Luna. She looked as if she saw a ghost, Luna ran over to her sister. Celestia can tell that something was troubling her. When Luna got near her the look in Luna's eyes were ones of confusion and worry.
"What's wrong, dear sister?" She said with a calm tone, Luna looked up at her older sister with a worried look.
"There was a bright light that pass by the throne room." Luna with a worried expression on her face. Celestia placed a hand on her shoulder, Luna relaxed but still seemed worried and a bit scared. Before any of them could do anything, a guard came into the room with a surprised expression on his face. The two sisters looked at him confused to why he came rushing in.
"Princess Celestia and Luna, Princess Cadence and Prince Shining have surprisingly arrived with some shocking news." The guard said. They two looked at each other confused but turned to the guard and thanked him for the news and walked to the throne room. When they reached the throne room, Cadence and Shining were waiting in the middle of the room for the princesses. When the two sisters entered the room, both rulers of the Crystal Empire bowed to the sun and moon princesses. After they got up Celestia asked why they are here?
"The crystal heart started to act weird and spin faster than anything before, after that it shot a beam of light far away into the sky.
Then the heart automatically charged and the whole empire began ti glow brighter than ever before." Cadence said to her aunts, she conitnued with the strange things that were happening. Both princesses had a look of shock and confusion, till they were told about the strange bitter and hatred feeling that was spreading across the Empire. Both princesses were about to say something till the stain glass window that showed Twilight and her friends started to act strange and by strange I mean 'STRANGE'. The glass windows started to glow bright and brighter by the second. When it was too bright to stare at they covered their eyes till it dimmer. After a few seconds later, the glass stopped glowing and when they looked at the stained glass, they were stunned by the charge of them.
Twilight and friends when they got the elements was changed to an tree house, the defeat of Discord was changed to a nightmare night pumpkin, Shining and Cadence's window changed to some kind of alien ship, Twilight becoming an Ailcorn charged to clock with roman numbers, the defeat of Sunset Shimmer was now a pirate, the defeat of Trek was a door with pink flowers, and Twilight's castle was changed to another castle but strange looking. The only one that hasn't charged was Spike and the crystal hearts...wait hearts?
Celestia and the others looked at each other with a confused look. They continued to ask questions about to themselves till a guard rushed in.
"Princess Celestia and Luna! The stained glass windows in the halls have changed!" said the guard. The princesses and prince rushed out to see more of these strange glass windows. All of them had something on them that was strange like a coin with a skull, a seashell, a mask, an acorn, a bear's paw print, and many...many more. Celestia then thought about that beam of light that shot right past the castle, did it do this and for what reason and why towards the Everfree? Celestia continued to think till a question came to mind.
'Isn't the Tree of Harmony in the Everfree?' Her brain said to her. Celestia eyes widen to the shock of what was going on. The others looked at her confused to why she seems so shocked.
"Dear sister is there something wrong?" Luna asked her. Tia turned to look at her sister not noticing that her horn began to glow. Luna must of known where to go.
"We need to get to the Tree of Harmony, fast." She said and with that they were gone.
"Twilight are you sure, you saw it happen?" Dash said flying above the others.
They were on their way to the Tree of Harmony because Twilight said she saw a light from the sky go straight into the Everfree for some reason. The others thought it was a shooting star but Twilight said it was bright and with her keeping them from falling back to sleep they had no choice but to go. With them were Twilight's former roommates Trixie and Chrysalis also joined in wondering about the light falling from the sky.
"So hows the library doing?" Twilight asked the two.
"As usual no one shows up and the dragon avoids talking to us. Nothing but the usual." said the former queen. They all talked about anything that may have to do with the light in the sky but there's no leads.
"It better be something worth my time because I was dreaming about being in the Wonderbolts. We were about to do a super sonic rainboom that would go across the world." Dash said sounding a bit sleepy.
Twilight didn't pay any attention to her, Twilight just kept on going towards the path of the stair. Twilight tried to think of what could have caused this. Tirek trying to escape again if so, why the light? Why not darkness or maybe it's a new enemy who has the power over the light or maybe it's another gift from the elements? There are many ways this could be a good thing or a bad thing.
The others were too into their own thoughts to not notice the stairway. Twilight stopped to go down but was pushed by her friends who didn't see her there. Twilight started to tumble down but lucky she remembered that she had magic, so she teleported herself to the bottom of the stairway. When she got down there she was meet with the goddesses of the sun and moon.
"Princess Celestia and Luna? What are you two doing here?" She asked the goddesses but before they could answer two more surprises showed up.
"Cadence? And Shining Armor? What are you two doing here with Celestia?" she asked them questionably.
The four looked at her with a confused look and before they could answer, the others finally came down and noticed the prince and princesses. They all bowed to their other rulers, Celestia nodded but turn her glaze to the shield. She looked at it with wonder and curiosity, it was a wall of a light that seem to be keeping something out...or in. They all looked at the barrier and questioned to why it was here. They heard someone yell but not sure what it is, it seem to be an agruement going on. Twilight tried to look through it with magic but to no avail. Questions were brought up by the minute, after a while there was a scream coming from inside the barrier.
"What the heck was that?" Shining said wondering who that was from inside. They all looked at it with curiosity.
After awhile the shield barrier began to fade and standing in the middle was Spike. It was hard to see him because of the cave blocking the light of the moon, the only way they could tell that it was Spike was his green spikes on his head.
"Spike? How-What are you doing here?" Twilight asked holding back hatred in her voice. Spike didn't respond just stood there not moving.
"Spike, how did you get here? You were asleep when I came down to the basement to check on you." Trixie said to him but nothing. He just stood there not moving almost dead like.
All twelve waited for the dragon to respond but nothing. He just stood there not moving at all, six of them had a scared and worried expression on their face while the other half had a creeped out expression. Dash walked over to him but the moment she walked in the cave, she was thrown back by a bream of light from the elements. They all gasped as Dash fell on her back hard to the ground.
"What was that?!! Did the elements just shot me?!!" Dash said getting up from the ground.
"Ya, I think they did but why?" Pinkie said making them all question the matter at hand. Each one of them tried to get near Spike but the moment any of them entered, they would be thrown back by the light shot from the elements. It seems that the elements need Spike for something and doesn't want anyone to disturb them.
"What the heck is going on with the Elements of Harmony? Why do they keep shooting at us every time we get near Spike?"
Shining armor said. After he spoke Fluttershy moved slowly towards Spike while everypony else was yelling for her to go back. Fluttershy moved closer and closer to Spike, as she walked over to him she noticed that his clothes were different. It seems to be white and black, and he had a necklace on. Fluttershy lifted her hand out to reach for Spike.
"Spike? Are you okay?" She asked him.
Before she could do anything else the shield that opened was now closing, her friends and princesses ran to stop the closing barrier. Fluttershy looked at the now closed cave entrance, tears ran down her face as the magical shield closed. She quickly turned to Spike and looked at him in the eyes. His once emerald green eyes were now very gray and lifeless. Fluttershy shake him but nothing. She then shake him some more, but in the end nothing, Spike just stared into nothingness. Fluttershy pulled Spike into a motherly hug hoping it would snap him out of this strange trance. She began to sob feeling the ever growing darkness trapping the two in the dark cave. Fluttershy opened her eyes to look at the tree and with a low gasp she noticed that the elements were missing.
'Where could they have gone?' she thought to herself as she held Spike closer to her. Spike didn't respond to anything, Fluttershy began to worry even more.
"Spike? Spike?" she said to him trying to get an answer but nothing.
Spike's mouth began to move but no sound came out of it. Fluttershy tried to hear it by moving closer to his mouth but still nothing. Losing hope, she began to sing but was stopped when six bright lights surround her and Spike. Fluttershy closed her eyes to block the bright light. Once it calmed down, she reopened her eyes and gave a surprise gasped. The elements were right in front of her.
Fluttershy began to move her mouth to say something but no words came out.
"Now what do we have here?" the element of magic said in a calm tone.
The sun shined through the window of the basement showing off its brightness by beaming it in the face of a sleeping dragon. He turn away from the light and covered his head with his blanket. A door open then the sounds of hooves walking down the stairs, once the sounds of hooves reached the ground floor, it then began to walk closer to the dragon trying to go back to sleep. As said pony got near she pulled the blanket making the dragon fall face first into the floor. The dragon get up and rubbed his face before getting up, he looked at the pony who rudely wake him up. And to his not so surprised face it was the former queen of changelings, Chrysalis.
"What do you want?" Spike asked not sound pleased to see her. Chrysalis put on a fake shock look on her face then fake a sad look.
"Oh, can't I just wake up a friend to the new day?" she ask him. Spike just rolled his eyes at her.
"Just cut to the chase alright. You would wake me if it was for Twilight telling you to." he said to Chrysalis giving her his annoyed tone. Chrysalis looked at him shocked before grinning.
"Oh my dear Spiky, I just want to help you get up this morning." she said grinning. Spike did not have time for her dumb game. Spike began to walk away from her but she place her hand on his chest pushing him back. Spike swatted her hand away and walked right past her. Chrysalis then frowned angrily as he walked past her.
Spike for some reason felt a chill ran down his back as if something was about to happen. Spike turn around to see why he felt scared and was about to meet the teeth a Chrysalis's keyblade. Time slowed down and as if some force told him Spike did a quick 180-degree slide, light sparkled blow his feet when he moved. Chrysalis blinked and looked around confused before being kicked from the back. Spike then looked at her on the ground as she groaned before thinking to himself.
'How did I do that?' he asked himself. Spike just shrugged before walking out the basement leaving a pissed and confused Chrysalis.
When he walked out of the basement he was greeted by The great pain in his hind Trixie. She was sitting down reading a book while eating her sandwich. Spike walked up to her while thinking what to say. Once he got near her she closed her book loudly before getting up. She looked at Spike before putting on a fake smile.
"Mourning Spike. I-" she said before being interrupted by Spike.
"Save it. What does Twilight need from me?" he said un-amused to her. Trixie exhaled before answering.
"She want to talk to you about what happen last night." she said to him. Spike had no idea whats she talking about but decided to go anyways, knowing Twilight if he didn't she would send guards to get him willing or not.
After finishing breakfast, he went off to Twilight's castle. On the way he noticed that there was a new store in Ponyville, he decided to go and see what inside. The store was an ice cream shop, Spike smiled seeing that he didn't have to go to Sugarcube corner. SCC didn't have anything bad but after what happen a few days ago Pinkie hasn't been...cheerful to see him. Spike walked in and was greeted by a light blue unicorn with yellow mane. She was were a T-shirt with a long shirk and on the corner of the shirk was two ice cream popsicles crossing each. She was behind the counter setting up some stuff. Spike walked over and rang a bell that was next to the bit register, the owner of the shop turned to face her customer. She had a cheerful smile on her face when greeting Spike face to face.
"Hello! My name is Ice Cone. How may I help you?" she asked smiling. Spike looked round before answering.
"So you new around here? And you're not scared of a dragon walking in here?" Spike asked her confused. The mare looked at him confused too.
"Why would I be scared of you? You didn't attack me first hand before talking. Plus I've had many other creatures as customers so it doesn't matter as long as you don't warm up my ice creams." She explained to him giving a happy smile. Spike couldn't help but smile as well.
"So what would you like?" She asked him. Spike looked at the menu before answering.
"Sea Salt ice cream." he said to her.
"You know where I use to live that was a favorite to six kids...or was it five? I don't remember but that would be three bits please." She said to Spike. Spike gladly gave her the bits.
Spike walked out while unwrapping he's ice creams. He walked towards the tree like castle he took a bite out of the popsicle. When he did his face had the expression a confusion then to loving.
"Salty but...sweet!" he said excitedly eating the rest on the way.
Finally he got to the Twilight's castle entrance and guards were standing besides the larges. Spike walked up close and was greeted by the two guards, Spike waved his hand and they didn't wave back just stared at nothingness. The two guards looked at Spike before opening the doors with a fearful glaze. Spike looked at them confused before turning around and no pony was there. Shrugging he went on while the two guards closed the door looking at Spike.
Scared.
Spike walked through the halls while viewing the strain glass windows. He noticed that they all had something weird on them but didn't want to know what the meant. As he reached Twilight's study room which he bets she in, he opened the door and was greeted but an empty room. Spike decided to walk in and see if she anywhere in the room where he can't see her. He walked around for abit till he figured that she not in the room, so turning and leaving he walked past her desk but when he did a feeling of turning around and looking to what's on her desk. He turned noticing plies of paper and books, but there was one thing on there that caught his attention. It was a keychain but not a normal keychain, it was black and curves like a fork. It looked like something out of Equestria. Spike decided to take it for good reasons.
The good reason was he like it and didn't care if she was study it, it's just a keychain.
Spike walked past a mirror in the room, he stopped and turned back to look at himself. The clothes he was wearing two white and black jackets and black pants but what caught his attention was the strange heart shaped necklace he was wearing. Thinking to himself he thought this looked was great on him even if it is a dumb prank from Dash and Pinkie. Spike then walked around the castle for what felt like an hour or so, till the sounds of blades clashing forced him to head towards the training room. Spike walked from hallways to hallways wishing there was a map for this place. He soon reached the training room where he finds the mane six training while CMC watched as the six hit large metal bars. Spike looked at each one of them.
Pinkie's keyblade possessed a curved, notched blade with a noticeably sharp edge.
Applejack's and Rarity's keyblade was wide and heavy but to her it seemed light.
Dash's keyblade was like a scythe but more blade-like.
Fluttershy's wasn't much to look at if you could see it you would say 'that doesn't seem strong in anyway' but it very quick and without warning.
Twilight's keyblade was a sword surround by a magic crossing each other will the teeth was her cutie mark.
Chrysalis's was her crooked horn with that green goo around it and lastly the teeth was her crown.
Trixie's was a rod with magic around it with the teeth as her cutie mark.
All of their keyblade's teeth were their cutie marks.
Spike watched as they fought each other and the CMC but he didn't noticed Twilight anyway. Dash, Applejack, and Pinkie were fighting each other while Rarity sat and watched. Fluttershy wasn't in here with them, probably caring for her animals. He thought of walking on them and see what he can do. He walked towards a metal bar but before he could do anything else, a blade should near his neck. Looking to his left Dash held her keyblade near his neck while smirking to herself. She looked at him like she has already won a fight. Once again he felt like a speed, he did the same 180-degree slide and was now right behind her. Dash spun around to face Spike.
"Nice trick. For a child." She said in an unhappy voice. Spike smirked happily.
"Maybe I can teach you it one day." He said to her. Dash puffed.
"Like I would ask You, mutt." She said coldly. Spike felt hurt by the mutt part.
"No need to be rude, never to be Wonderbolt Dash." Spike said in responds smiling. Dash's eyes widen in shock. She raised her blade at him.
"Say that again and I'll skin you alive!" She said gathering the others attention. They watch as Rainbow dash slashed her blade at him.
Spike held his right arm up trying to block the attack but he knew it wouldn't help. As time slowed down as a gust of wind wrapped itself around Spike's right arm. The gust of wind soon became stronger as Dash's blade got close to him, when the blade finally appeared it blocked Dash's attack sending her backwards. A loud gasp from Pinkie and the others made Spike open his eyes to see what happen. In he hands was a...
Keyblade.
"A...Keyblade?...My Keyblade. I have my own keyblade!" He said excitedly
Spike now has his own keyblade and it looked cool in his eyes plus he was holding it backhanded alot different from the others front-handed style. He looked at it cheaking out the design till he got to the handle with the keychain. It was the same one from Twilight study room.
The blade was short, sea green handle with a black pommel. Its guard is black and curves around the handle, but does not connect to the base of the handle. The shaft of the blade is silver and has semi-circular indentations on its sides. The teeth are comprised by two silver, triangular blades that overlap each other and slant downward. Both triangles have slanted, heart-shaped gaps in them. The Keychain token resembles the guard and handle.
"Coolest thing ever." Spike said to himself.
"SPIKE!!! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING WITH THAT!!!???" a rage filled voice screamed from the doorway. Spike slowly turned and saw somepony he really didn't want to see.
"Oh! Hi Twilight. Look at this cool blade of mine." he said cheerful to her.
Twilight pulled her blade from her back and with a push from her wings, she light speed towards Spike right about to slash the life out of him.
Twilight rushed at Spike with a mighty force, Spike dodge rolled when she slashed at him. Once Spike got some distance from Twilight, he rushed at her before striking. Spike held his blade backhanded so attacking would be harder to do, since there's no sword fighter who'd ever done this but it would do more hits of damage. Spike quickly slashed at her but she blocked each slash, thinking quickly to himself while doing a backflip to avoid a counterattack. He mind tried to think of way to attack from a distance without her knowing what he's doing. As if his keyblade had it mind of its own, it pulled Spike's right arm back then quickly moved forward making Spike let go. It flew around for abit before gaining some speed before turning towards Twilight, the blade spin circling her before attacking. Twilight was too distracted to noticed the blade coming right at her, it slashed at her once then again the one more time before returning to Spike who was equally confused like the rest but shake it off as a normal thing for a keyblade, but having a mind of it's own was weird. Twilight groaned at the pain from the strong move.
"His slash attack seem harmless but that attack hurt a lot worse than I thought." She said to herself as she glared at Spike. The other stared awed by what happen. None of them could hit her but Spike found a way to and he just thrown his keyblade at her.
"Hey Lizard mutt! That was cheap move!" Dash yelled at Spike. Spike didn't look back or even heard her, he just stood there looking at his blade.
"How did I do that?" He thought to himself. Then there was the sound of a blade sliding on the ground...towards him. Spike quickly looked up and saw Twilight running towards him at high speed.
When she got near she did quick slashes at him, Spike dodged the first few before blocking the others. Each blow he took was strong than the last. He was doing fine till Twilight slashed to the right with all her might and which cause Spike to loose grab of the blade sending it across the room. Spike glared at Twilight, dodge rolled before she could attack him and rushed towards his fallen blade. The moment he got near another blade stuck through the handle ring and another pointed at him, Spike cursed under his breath before looking at blade owners that stop him.
Applejack and Rarity.
Spike looked at them with pure hatred in his eyes.
Wondering why? Well those two are dating and what makes it worse was that they started dating after Rarity turned to Nightmare Rarity issue. Spike remember how he felt when they told him weeks ago, Spike remembered the two saying sorry for not telling him. Spike heart cracked that day, he looked at them and just walked away not saying a word but in his heart did.
"I HATE YOU BOTH!" It said very low for Spike to hear but he could feel what it said.
Spike looked at them then back at his blade, Rarity's keyblade was stuck itself through his blade while Applejack's pointed at him. Spike just looked at them before he could do anything the two's frowns turned into to smiles, wondering to himself.
'Why are they smiling?' He thought to himself.
Before he could think of reason, a shadow began to appear behind him.
'What. Isn't that Twilight's shadow?' He thought to himself again before it hit him, he forgot about the fight with Twilight.
Quickly thinking he reached for his blade but stood where he was, just lifted his right arm and held it in front of him. The three just giggled to themselves before smirking. Spike hasn't giving up yet, he stood there waiting for his keyblade to return to him somehow. The three just shook their heads at him.
"Spike, I do hope you know a keyblade don't magically teleports to their master. A shame that you a chosen to be its master." Twilight calmly said. Spike growled at her while trying to get his weapon out of Rarity's grip. Thinking to himself he thought of a commanded it to return to him.
"Spike, you should just give up and-!" Applejack didn't finish when Rarity gasped. Applejack turned to see why she gasped and she as well gasped, Spike's blade disappeared and returned to him but Spike took no time to wonder why that work but he quickly did two slashes, one slash for the two while Twilight jumped back to avoid Spike's attacks.
Once she moved away from him, she noticed that Applejack and Rarity were down and what was standing before the two was Spike but now was a somepony wearing a black cloak and...welding two keyblades. One looking like light while the other looked like pure darkness, the hooded figure turned to face Twilight and Twilight was sure this pony wasn't no pony nor anything she and her friends have ever seen.
She couldn't see his face but she could feel as though he looked at her with pure hatred. He had golden blond and no fur. The figure then pointed his dark keyblade that was in his right head at her. Twilight prepared herself for an attack but the moment she looked away to see if her friends can see this but they seen to be shocked about something. Twilight turned back to the cloaked figure and standing right before her was Spike.
"What....what just happen?" Twilight asked herself. Suddenly both Rarity's and Applejack's keyblades began to float around him.
"How?...How can you do that? I thought Keyblade wielder can only wield a keyblade?" She said to Spike completely confused.
Spike didn't say a word but pointed his and the other blades at her. Twilight's eyes widen in fear of if she moved he would strike without warning. Spike stared at her with no fear, no sadness, nor happiness for his win just hatred.
"Sp...Spike?...You win...Okay so no need to finish this attack of yours, just hand me back Jack's and Rarity's keyblade and you can keep that one." Twilight said with full nightmare fear in her voice, Spike didn't say a word just stared at her with those hateful filled eyes. Twilight slowly looked at her friends to see if they can help.
Pinkie and Dash were gone leaving the three fillies stunned. She then slowly looked toward Applejack and Rarity's beaten place, they were gone. Twilight then turned to Spike and noticed the four ponies right behind him. Twilight slowly began to smile but not enough to chase Spike off guard. Spike looked at Twilight and slowly began to smirk, Twilight became confused by this and before she could say a word Jack's and Rarity's keyblades swing on their own and attacked the four ponies behind him with only one swing. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie were thrown back leaving their blades to land on the ground which soon had floated around him like the other two. Twilight soon noticed that the floating keyblades did a wing-like formation right behind him. Soon the room's door open with the three princesses, her brother, Trixie, Chrysalis and Fluttershy. The seven walked in talking about something but stop when they noticed what was going on.
"What the hay going on here?" Shining Armor said confused like the rest.
Pinkie and the other three got up from the ground and looked at the seven ponies at the door.
"Well it seems that Spike here is a real Keyblade wielder and he is fighting Twilight." Applejack said rubbing her head.
The seven turn to the side and noticed that Spike was fighting Twilight but for the moment he just stood there with the keyblades pointed at her. Twilight looked frighten by the situation she was in. Trixie and Chryssalis were about to enter the fight but was stopped by Fluttershy's blade.
"This is a fight between the two and we can't interfere, and it seems from the looks of things Spike has the upper hand with the help of his and these four idiots's keyblades." Fluttershy said with a non-caring tone when she was looking at her friends.
Celestia, Luna, Trixie, and Chryssalis looked at looked at her with a confused and shocked looked when she said that. She been acting strange for awhile now.
"What's up with her?" Celestia said to herself. Before she could say a word the said of Twilight made Celestia turn to face the battle.
Twilight was slashed by one of the blades that Spike had. She was thrown back and hit the ground hard. When she got up, she began to cast a spell that would freeze him for moment that would give her a chance to fight. She thought of an ice beam would be strong enough to stop him. Twilight's horn began to glow with a bright purple aura and soon a bright blue orb formed on the tip of her horn. Spike looked at her confused before pointing five keyblades at her.
"Fire!" Spike yelled. Everypony looked at him confused before the keyblades shot out one fire ball each. Twilight was about seven feet away but she shut her eyes to concentrated on her ice spell not knowing nor hearing Spike.
"Twilight! Get out of the way!" Dash yelled to her friend.
"Twilight! Movie!" Pinkie yelled.
"W-what?" Rarity said confused.
"What are you doing?!!" Trixie yelled. Everypony even the guards except for Fluttershy. She looked at the two with a curious look, she wonder who would win.
Twilight finally open her eyes and released the ice beam right before the fireballs get close to her. The beam went straight through the five fire balls. Spike quickly dodge it quickly and the beam hit Pinkie and Rarity while Dash and Applejack were only half damaged. Pinkie and Rarity were frozen solid while Dash and Applejack partly frozen, only their legs and half of their upper half were trapped in ice. Twilight's eyes widen in shock as she seen what she has done, she turned to Spike to see if he was hit but to her dismay he wasn't.
Spike turned around to see what happen and to his slight surprise his former friends were frozen in ice well little for Dash and Applejack. Spike turned to face Twilight while smirking.
"Uh Twilight? You do know that I'm your target not them but thanks anyways...Oh! And Rainbow Dash, if you call yourself the fastest flyer in Equestria than you would be apply to dodge that ice beam but you didn't move fast enough." Spike said to her while not facing her.
Rainbow Dash growled while trying to pull herself out. Spike turned to her while smirking.
"How about you work on your speed than napping." Spike said. Dash's face turned red out of rage.
Spike turned to Twilight with an un-amused stare.
"Let's end this Twilight. I have better things to do than deal with you." Spike said to her.
Twilight looked at Spike with an annoyed look. Twilight got up before placing shield spell on herself. She had a purple bubble around herself, Spike looked at her confused.
"A barrier? Really? You can take a beating from Tirek but can't take a hit from me." He said in a questionable tone.
Twilight was getting a little pissed hearing Spike talk about her friends and herself like that. She then question way he was acting like this? At first he played around then got really serious for some reason. She not sure why he's this strong nor why he was chosen to be a key wielder but she'll find out one way or another.
"Let's end this Spike." She said to him before turning on her Rainbow power. Spike looked at her before preparing an attack. Everypony watched in 'awe' as the battle begins.
As the fight begins Twilight rushed at Spike at speed that would much a Sonic Rainboom. Twilight slashed quick hard to dodge but thanks to the other blades Spike was able to block each attack. Once Twilight's attack slowed down, it give Spike an opening to attack. Spike counterattack Twilight which dazed her for abit and Spike took no time to attack. Each slashed Spike made do little damage but with the four keyblades attack alongside him it deal a huge. When he finished striking an attack he upper slashed sending her to the air, when she wasn't on the ground the four floating keyblades attack her by shooting themselves like shooting stars. Twilight fell down very hard to the ground, Spike smirked to himself but when Twilight got up She wasn't very happy. Spike was about to attack again but then the sound of fallen blades hitting the floor. Spike looked down and saw the four Elements blades on the ground. Spike cursed to himself as he feels what give him the power to do that left.
"Well looks like I have to this alone. Thanks for helping." Spike said to the keyblades, wasn't sure why he thanked a un-living being but since this weapon isn't a normal weapon than maybe it is a living creature but that thought has to be sided for now, he must focus on the battle.
Spike rushed at Twilight while she was getting up from the ground. Spike upper slashed with an Ice attack which froze Twilight's body then down slashed with a fire attack. Twilight was thrown back far across from Spike, when Twilight finally got up from the ground and stared at Spike with pure rage.
"I had enough of this!!!!" She yelled with the royal Canterlot voice, her voice was so yelled her friend broke free from their icy prison.
Spike looked at Pinkie, Dash, Applejack, and the others. They all had a look a fear, Spike looked at them confused before turning his attention towards Twilight. Spike noticed the look in her eyes well glowing white eyes that this wasn't going to end well. Twilight pouring all her Rainbow Power magic in to this one attack. She aimed her keyblade at Spike while an orb of rainbow began to appear from the tip of her blade. Spike began to worry that this will end in him being hurt badly, so Spike aimed his blade at her. Both of their blade pointed directly at each other, Twilight's had a ball of rainbow magic growing in size while Spike had nothing. Growing worry of the situation he's in, he hope something would save him. Lucky for him, his heart shaped necklace began to glow unknowingly to everyone.
"Spike! Do you know where my power comes from?!" Her voice yelled at him. Spike's knew the answer but was scared to answer.
"FRIENDSHIP!!!!" She yelled at him. Then a huge rainbow beam shot straight from the tip of her blade. Spike's eyes widen as the beam came closer to him. Spike pulled it blade in front of him to block it but he knew it isn't going to work, but it can't hurt to try...right?
"Please let something anything save me." He said to himself before his painful defeat.
As Twilight's final attack came close to him a keyhole shape portal opened under him. The princesses couldn't during the time believe that those two great friends were having a death battle. Seconds before he was hit, he fell into the hole. Everypony saw Spike get hit by Twilight's rainbow attack, Applejack, Dash, Pinkie, and Rarity quickly moved out of the way. The large beam left a hole in the wall and after the smoke clears Spike was no where to be seen, there was no sign of him anywhere.
No body. No sign. No keyblade.
Celestia had no idea was going on but she didn't care for that matter, right now she wanted to her son. She turn to the guards whom were shocked by the scene. After a few seconds they snapped out of it and straighten themselves. Celestia commended them to go look for Spike and not to disturb her while she have a little 'talk' with Twilight. When the door closed all of them even Luna felt that the next few minutes will be hell.
"WHAT IN THE NAME OF HARMONY IS GOING ON???" She asked in her royal canterlot voice. None of the six answered nor did Trixie or Chryssalis. After a few seconds of quietness Twilight finally spoke but shakingly.
"Well you know when we find that Keychin with Spike." Twilight she to her angry sun goddess. Celestia slowly nodded.
"Well it turns out to be part of a real Keyblade and-" She did finish when the sun princess yelled.
"WHAT???" Celestia yelled shocked by the news, even Luna was surprised.
"And that Spike is it chosen wielder."
"WHAT!!" The princesses, Trixie, Chryssalis, and Shinning yelled in unison.
"And I'm sure it has to do with this." Twilight pointed to the stain glass windows.
Celestia shook herself out of shock on the issue. She collected on her thoughts before something caught her attention. One of the stain windows had a strange looking castle with a weird heart on the center but what caught her attention was the hollow heart on top of the castle. It looked like the same heart of Spike's necklace. Meanwhile in the shadows a bunch of yellows watched as the ponies talked, waiting to attack.
Spike slowly wake himself up after who knows how long he's been out. Rubbing his head, he got up and noticed that he was behind a building. Spike walked to a pack of stairs and noticed stores with pictured signs. One had a wand,shield, and sword while another had potions, and lastly a sign that shows accessories. Spike also noticed some strange creatures walking around, so he walked up to a girl wearing pink, she didn't noticed him because she was talking to someone else.
She had bright green eyes and a red ribbon are much brighter than her pale boots. She wear a carmine pink and white top held up by a string that wraps around her neck. Underneath this top, she wear a pink dress with a horizontal white stripe near the bottom. She wears yet another dress underneath the first one, this dress being white and slightly longer than the first.
Spike was about to talk to her but a sharp blade appear right in front of him. The two girls turned to face Spike and the other person. Spike turn to his side to see who this was. This guy wears three brown belts on his left forearm and has three buckles on his right thigh, while he wore three black belts on his left thigh. Leon's black pants also sport a vertical zipper going down the side of each leg. Leon wears two brown belts and two black ones around his hips, all of which are quite loose except for one, a black one worn properly around his waist. He only wore two brown belts. His eyes are blue and he bears his distinctive scar, which runs diagonally across the bridge of his nose.
"Who are you,dragon?" Ask the men. Spike didn't respond because this crazy guy pointed he sword which for some reason looked like a gun.
"Are you going to answer him, dragonboy?" She the other lady, Spike looked at her.
She had violet colored eyes, a black headband with white lining. She wear an unzipped, dark grey combat vest with a black strap dangling from the right pocket overtop a navy blue tank top with white floral designs. She wears a white wristband on her right wrist and a grey, fingerless glove on her left arm. Her shorts are slightly darker and have another black strap dangling from the left side. She also wears black, knee-high socks with white stripes at the top underneath dark tan boots that are slightly shorter than her socks.
Lucky for Spike some weird shadow like creatures appeared out nowhere. The three dressed beings turned to face those shadow things. The one with a sword rushed at the monsters, while other dressed beings ran to their homes.
" *sigh* not one heartless again, come we ever get a break from these guys?" She asked herself before pulling out a huge 4-Point Shuriken then ran after those 'heartless'. Spike turned towards the other lady wondering if she would help them.
"Why ain't you helping?" Spike asked her confused.
"I can't." She said looking sad, Spike felt bad for asking. Suddenly his keyblade appeared and pointed itself at one of the shadow creature, which turned to face the two. It went into the ground acting as a real shadow and headed towards them, Spike ready himself for a fight.
"Aerith! Get to safety!" Said the male swords man. The girl Aerith who was next to Spike ran across to downtown. Seconds later a few shadows appeared.
"Things can't get any worse." Spike said to himself.
"So...what the heck are you?" Spike asked the shadowy thing. It was a small almost baby size thing vaguely humanoid body structure. It has a round, spherical head with circular, glowing yellow eyes. It also has two long, twisted antennae sprouting out of the top of its head. Each of its hands has three clawed fingers, and its feet are large and lack any discernible digits. With the exception of its eyes, its body was completely black.
Whatever it was it kept moving in an odd/weird way. Spike looked at the two fighter as they attacked this 'heartless'. Spike brought back his attention to the few in front of him. They has an odd movement pace, moving their hand..er..claws like it was jello and looking left to right every few seconds. Spike ready himself as two flatten themselves into a silhouette on the ground, and become a literal shadow. The two rushed towards him as he stood there, the two then jumped out to strike but Spike quickly moved out the way and attacked. Swinging at the two making contacted, they two soon burst to nothing. Spike was about to strike again but one of them got him from behind, forcing him to the ground. Spike was surprised by the strength these things have.
"Okay time to get real." Spike said to himself. Spike began to attack them, luckily most of them didn't get a chance to attack as Spike toss his blade at them.
While Spike tried to take out the others but each time he tried to attack the shadows would flatten themselves before he could duel damage. After a few missed swings ,he was getting furious with this things.
"Just let me hit YOU!" He yelled at which caused the to strike. Spike blocked their attack but was about counter till they went into the ground again. Spike was now annoyed of this.
"Hey Dragonboy, Use your magic." Said the ninja creature. Spike turned to face her and was surprised to see that she and that other one were fighting some similar armor 'heartless' things.
Spike was about to look at the other shadow creature but remembered that he was fighting as well. Quickly as he could he did the same ice and fire slash attack when he fought Twilight before breathing fire at them. They were easily defeated, Spike smiled to himself as they burst to nothing. Spike soon noticed strange yellow orbs the popped out of them, Spike got closer to them and was about to touch it but when his hand got close enough the orbs was adsorb into him. Stunned at what just happen and was about to question it but was soon kicked in the face by one of those soldier things. Spike fell backwards hitting the ground hard on his back, quickly getting up he got a good look at the thing that hit him.
Its muscular forms are clad in a bluish-black body suit bearing a strange heart-like emblem and purple inverted emblems trimmed in gold on the knees. They wear black, silver trimmed shoes that end in spiral toes, silver wristbands, and a silver knight's helm decorated with two angular, eye-like spirals on the front and a yellow stripe at the base of the curled silver plume. Its true behavior comes out on a close examination of their fierce blue and red-tipped claws, and their shadowed faces with bright yellow eyes and toothy maw.
'They look like soldiers.' Spike thought to himself.
Spike got up right before one of the things tried to spin kick him again. Spike dodged its attacked before getting ready for the next one, one of those soldier tried the swipe it claw at him but Spike block it. Jumping back far enough for them to have some distance, Spike quickly brought his hand right back before throwing straight at them. His blade flew straight at them hit each one before returning to him, it seems that these things are stronger than the last ones. Spike looked around him, there was more of the walking...or oddly running around ether attacking him and the two fighters or just running like in panic. Spike ready himself for a long fight only thing he hope is that it can't get worse for him.

Celestia as pacing back and forth, wondering and worried about Spike.
Where could he be?
Is he alright?
How long has he been a key welder?
Since when was he even one?
Questions were running in her head as she wondered what was going on. She stood in her bedroom waiting for any reports of her missing son, it been two hours since he been gone and Twilight doesn't know where she sent him nor does she. Celestia told herself that Spike well be find but she can't figure out why can't her magic find him ether. She wondered what was going on with those two? She never seen them act let this since Spike started to breath fire and nearly burned down the library by accident. But now the act that just happen not to long age with the fight cause her to question whats been happening during his time in Ponyville. Before she could think the sound of glass cracking was heard in the room, she turned to her desk which the sound was heard from. She walked over to the desk and opened the drawer to find an old picture of to dragon and their purple egg. The picture shows a female white dragon with purple scales and a male green dragon. In between the two was a purple egg, the female dragon hold the egg in her arms while the male dragon smiled at her with joy in his eyes. A creak ran down the male dragon and the egg, a tear ran down her left eye. The memory was happy and sad at the same time, she put the picture frame back in the drawer. She wrapped the tear away before picking up an old book given to her by the most powerful unicorn in Equestria.
"Why didn't I listen to him about this." She said to herself.
A weapon as powerful or more powerful than the Elements themselves. Starswirl wrote in his journal about the weapon and what it will bring along with it. He write everything he could find out about the keyblade from where it came from and how it works. Celestia has kept this a this everypony to not cause any war nor panic. She remember one line that got her attention.
"Those whom parent is a welder might gain the ability to have a keyblade, or is given the rights to one by a decreased welder." The words said in her head.
"But why Spike?" She asked herself. She opened the book to find out more about this. It took a few minutes but she then found a sentence that could shed some light in her mind.
"A Keyblade is a living being that can think on is own, which allows it to chose whom it wants as a master." It read. Celestia looked at the words for a few seconds before continuing to the end where two names of the beings that Starswirl got the information from. The names were strange in pony terms but even stranger was how she felt about one of them.
"Thanks to our new friends from another world for the information of this weapon." It read before given one last sentence.
"But I do feel that something is off with that one welder. He seem very interested in this 'Kingdom Heart', I have no Idea what it is nor do I want to know. I feel that it something that shouldn't be messed with." It read. The two words 'Kingdom Heart' a name she hasn't heard since she was told about it. On the bottom of the journal were the names of the two strange creatures.
Eraqus and Xehanort.
It been nearly three minutes and the heartless hasn't given up the slightest. Spike was getting his butt kick by these soldiers things. After a few missed hits and getting clawed and kicked a few times, his chest began to burn with angry from these thing. When he finally hit one another one spin kick from behind, getting very annoyed he opened his mouth and released a loud roar which caused the heartless to stop and stand in place slightly shaking. Spike stopped intently before unleashing a wave of green fire from his from. The two fighter stood on top of the shop building watching Spike fought off the heartless. The two had to admit that Spike is pretty good at fighting but is lacking at waiting for the right moment to strike. Spike tossed his blade and it span around expanding it's range, Spike looked up to the roof top and noticed that the two fighter were standing on top of the building.
"How the heck did they get up there? No normal pony-er thing can jump that high." Spike thought to himself. Before he could do anything the sky darken. Spike looked up and noticed the that no clouds were in the sky.
'What that heck? There's no cloud in sight....wait a minute?' Spike quickly turned around only to be smacked across the face by a huge or fat looking heartless. Spike was thrown across and hit a wall, lucky for him that his dragon body soften most of the impact but was knot out as he landed face first to the ground. Before the heartless could do more a large blade impaled itself from the back. It burst to dust as a heart flouted straight to the sky.
The creature placed his blade on his back as the heartless disappear. The creature turns his friends that walk towards him.
"About time you showed up, Cloud." he ninja said to the large sword men. Cloud just looked away before turning back to them.
"Who's this dragon?" He asked them. Both shrugged not really knowing who he was.
"Well whoever his is, he wields a keyblade." Cloud said to them pointing out the obvious thing. Leon looked at the blade for a second before returning back to the two.
"Yuffie, take the dragon to Merlin's place and Cloud go scan the area for any more heartless." After that, the three went off to do their thing.
"You summoned me." Asked a mysterious figure.
"Yes, my guards have reported that you were teaching clots and fillies dark magic and not just to unicorns." She said to the mysterious figure.
"Dark magic is such a strong term for magic control from darkness." He said to her. The princess looked at him frowning.
"You do know darkness is dangerous?" She said to him.
"Yes but the night princess seems to be more willing to see what to does." He said smiling through his black cloak. The princess looked at him angrily. She then got up from her throne.
"Why would she?" She asked the cloaked being. The cloaked being looked at her before showing are his shape teeth.
"Luna feels abandoned by her only family, and the ponies never seem to stay awake during her beautiful nights. She may seem like it doesn't brother her but we both know she hating every second of it, Celestia." The cloaked being said. Celestia raised her right arm before a blaze of fire surrounded her hand.
A blade appeared, a keyblade in fact. She glared at him before disappearing and reappearing right in front of him. She stood about the same height as him.
"She would never turn to the darkness." Celestia with a burning gaze. The hooded figure laughed. A black portal open and he slowly getting sucked in before telling her one last thing.
"Never say never princess." He said before the portal closed leaving her with her thoughts.
'Luna will never turn to the darkness...would she?' she asked herself.
(CMC POV) After the battle they just witness the cutie marks crusaders decided to go and forget what they saw but it kept returning to their minds. Applebloom held her keyblade to her side like a sword since it was one...kind of, Scootaloo just held her's in her right hand, and Sweetie Belle placed her's on her back. The three walked the halls of the 'tree castle' which most ponies called Twilight's castle for short. They continued to walk the halls as they walked AB and Scoots were having a convention about the events that just happen.
"Did you see how fast Spike was when he kept dodging all of their attacks? Since when did he ever learn that?" Scoots said confused. Applebloom shrugged before speaking.
"Ah' don't know, maybe he learn it from somepony?" She said rubbing the side of her left ear. Scootaloo shook her head in disagreement.
"Who would teach him that? I mean when did he started learning it and who taught him?" Scootaloo said abit bothered by the thought of how someone selected Spike to learn something like that and not the mane six. Sweetie stared straight forward as the headed out the castle, she was worried for Spike. He just disappeared after the rainbow bream hit him.
'Where did you go?' She thought to herself. As three walked the streets of ponyville, Sweetie kept having a feeling that they were being watched and followed. She looked around but only friendly face looked back and waved. She waved back at them.
"Well whoever taught him, we might be able to find it in books. Now lets head to our clubhouse." Scootaloo decided. They walked faster and walked past the apple orchards.
As they walked further into the forest, Sweetie couldn't help but watched as the tree's shadow stares at her.

Wait what?
She quickly looked at the yellow eyes that stared at them.
"Gals? I think we are being watched." She said shaking.
The two stopped talking and looked at her confused before she pointed at the yellow dots in the trees' shadows. The two looked at each other bother pulling out their weapons. The moment they did that a weird yellow eyed things jumped out of trees' shadows.
"What the heck are you?" Scoots said out loud.
They creature said nothing just stood there and surrounded them. The three watched back to back as they get surrounded.
"Any Ideas?" Sweetie said almost shaking in fear.
"Just hit them." Scoots answered. Applebloom rolled her eyes.
"Wow, Ah' was just thinking of running start into them." She said to Scootaloo slightly annoyance. Scootaloo turned to Applebloom and argue but was then jumped by one of those shadow things. She fell backwards as one jumped on her face.
"GET IT OFF GET IT OFF GET IT OFF!!!!!" She yelled trying to pry off the thing from her face. Applebloom also tried to help but was grounded by the monsters. Sweetie looked at her friends worried.
"Sweetie! Go and get Help!" They both said.
"But what about about you!" She asked nearly teared eyed.
"Just go and get help!" They said throwing the things off but was then dog piled by them. Sweetie was about to help them but was then grabbed from behind.
Sweetie fell on her back before lifting herself up looking up at the whatever grabbed her. What was standing in front was a pony or what she thing is a pony staring at her. It wear a black coat or cloak, full-length black coat with a hood and a waist-high slit going up the back (similar to a duster). It had a large silver zipper that fastens at the top and zips down to seal the coat. It also had silver drawstrings for the hood decorated with a large silver bead hanging from the end and a silver chain ornament adorned with four large cylindrical silver beads that fastens to a loop on either side of the collarbone region. This pony was taller than her, about 7ft.
"W-Who are you?" Sweetie asked the cloaked figure but the cloaked figure didn't say a thing just looked at her. She couldn't see their eyes even when she got up close.
"Can you please help my fri-!" She stop mid sentence hearing a creak of lighting before looking towards her friends. She shocked to see that the monsters were gone.
"Oh thank you thank you." She said hugging the cloaked pony, surprising them by the affection. The pony didn't hug back just patted her head.
Sweetie was about to rush to her friends til the pony grabbed her. Applebloom and Scootaloo got up from the ground, dusting themselves off. The two looked at their friend as the hooded pony grabbed her. Sweetie tried to get the pony to let go but he didn't, Appleboom and Scootaloo grabbed their weapon. The pony lets Sweetie go and she had a shocked expression on her face. Appleboom and Scootaloo rushed at the pony but the moment they made contact they just went right through him.
"What?" Scoots said confused.
"H-How?" Appleboom said shocked.
The cloaked pony stared at her before a black smoke spawn up from behind them. The three looked at now dark portal, the cloaked pony walked straights the portal. Three watched as he walked into it shocked to see something as strange as this happen.
"Where did that came from?" Sweetie said confused. The portal soon faded away.
Appleboom walked over to Sweetie belle.
"Hey, Sweetie belle? What did that pony say to you?" She asked. Sweetie thought for a moment before looking at them.
The three fillies ran back to the tree castle as fast as they could, running pass the entrance guards and a few maids. They rushed to throne room, where they were greeted by the Celestia, Luna, Twilight, and the other five elements. They busted through the doors as the eight were having a 'friendly' talk, Twilight and her friends were standing to the side of the room's balcony while Luna and mainly Celestia was standing inside it. Celestia stopped talked to stare confused at the three fillies who busted the door open. Applejack spoke first before anypony else.
"What in tarnation? Didn't ya'll leave not to long ago?" Jack asked confused to why they came back looking almost white.
"We...we...we." Scootaloo tried to say but couldn't as from all the running. Celestia walked over to the three place a hand Scootaloo's shoulder.
"Go and get something to drink first." She said smiling. The three didn't leave out calmed down before speaking.
"But we need to tell ya'll something important." Applebloom said trying to get their attention. Celestia still smiled but used her magic to turn them around and gentle push them out the door.
"I'm sure it is but I need to talk to your sisters for a moment." She said before closing the door behind them.
"But a pony or what we think is a pony in a black cloak told me 'the door to our world is open.' whatever that means." Sweetie said before the throne room's door burst open with an angry white alicorn.
"Repeat that for me, please." She asked them smiling with a burning gaze. The three fillies backed away from her, scared at the look in her eyes. Sweetie gulped before being pulling in.
"Now Sweetie belle can you tell me what happen after you left." Celestia said dragging the three in the throne room while dismissing the guards.
Applebloom and Scootaloo began to explain what happen after they left the castle. Sweetie belle stayed quiet as the memory of what the pony told her.
(Flashback)
"Let go of me!" Sweetie yelled at the pony but he didn't let her go. Sweetie straggled to get her right arm back.
The pony looked at her even when she couldn't see his eyes but she could feel them looking at her. She stopped moving as he spoke.
"The door to your world has open." He said before letting go.
(End of flashback)
"And then he grabbed Sweetie belle by the arm...and..what did he say to you again?" Scootaloo asked her friend. Everypony in the room looked at her, Sweetie began to sweat.
"The door to our world is open." She said rubbing the sweat away. The six looked at her confused.
"The hay did he mean by that?" Pinkie asked her in question. Sweetie shrugged confused as well. Celestia was pondering on the issue. As the six question each other of the phase while Celestia was left to her thoughts well Luna stayed quiet not sure of to say.
She tried to remember where she heard that phase but was interrupted by a Pinkie's gasp. Everypony turned to her confused but before any could ask she pointed up at one of the glass windows. She pointed at the one above Twilight's throne, they looked up at what looks like a twisted castle. Celestia looked at it and remembered that it had a blue heart above it. Looking back at it the glass window was soon covered in shadows or some kind of living black fire. Before any of them could question it, a black portal open near the entrance doors.
They all watched as a black cloaked pony walked out of it, they couldn't see their face but can feel their eyes on them. Pinkie was the first to react by appearing behind the pony and give them a hug but when she tried she just fall to the ground, going straight through them.
"Hmmm" The pony humming looking at his surroundings.
"W-what just happen?" Pinkie asked as she looked at the cloaked pony she just passed through. The cloaked pony turned back to look at Pinkie before turning his attention to the others in the room.
Sweetie looked at the cloaked figure in the room and noticed this wasn't the same one from before.
"Hey, you're not the same pony from before for." She said before any of them could wonder who this, the cloaked pony spoke.
"It's nice to meet you all." he said to them calmly. Sweetie could feel some strange dark aura surrounding him.
"Nice to meet you to Mr?" Celestia responded to the cloaked pony.
"If I told you, I would have the pleasure of meeting the crystal pony's princess." He answered her confusing them with that statement. Before any could ask a question Sweetie spoke up
"Who are you?" She asked walking close to him noting that he stood as tall as Celestia.
"That's not important." He responded confusing them even more. Twilight got up from her crystal throne.
"May I ask why are you here?" Twilight asked him. The pony looked up at her before looking towards Luna.
"She has someone we need." He said pointing towards Luna. Luna felt a dark presence coming from this pony.
"And what would that be?" Luna said preparing a spell just in case he tries anything.
"Your heart." He said grinning under his raising his hand towards her. Luna and everypony else ready themselves. The cloaked pony's arm began to emit a purple and black aura.
"What is thou planning?" Luna asked him. Smiling under his hood, he answered
"To start a nightmare." Was all he said before sending dark magic into the flood. Without warning black thorns made of black crystal grabbed them, wrapping around them and keeping them from move or casting magic.
"What is the meaning of this?" Celestia asked. The hooded pony looked at her before raising his hand above him.
"What are you going to do?" Ask Sweetie Bell. He didn't respond as the room grow dark.
"I have a bad feeling about this." Pinkie said getting the 'Oh Really?!!!' look from every pony (and readers).
As the room grow dark, wind began swirl around his right hand. Streams of darkness began to circle around them before shooting towards the hood pony's hand. The darkness began to form something in his palm. Purple electric started spark above his hand, suddenly a blade began to form.
"IS THAT A KEYBLADE????!!!!!!!" Dash yelled in shock.
The blade manifest before them. The Keyblade has a simple design of red and black with its teeth forming the outline of a heart. It has a rather dark design it didn't even have a key chain.
"What the hay? How can you summon a keyblade if you control darkness?" Twilight asked but was thrown across the room. She slammed into the crystal wall. Spider web like cracks form at the spot she crushed into. The hooded pony turned to Twilight as she tried to get up. While Twilight was trying to gain her footing, the cloaked pony turned towards Luna.
"I'm going to enjoy this." He said darkly. Without any warning a bream shadow or dark light shot from the tip of his blade. It went straight towards her, Celestia tried to cast a spell but wasn't quick enough as the bream shot through Luna. Luna's eyes widen in shock and slight pain as she felt something split from her. The thorns that held her let go and she dropped to the work. Everypony watched in horror as Luna gasp painfully.
The room's doors burst open as few knights in purple armor with star-shape spears in their hands. They were about to ask what was going on but the moment they saw their princesses, bearers of the elements, and three fillies held in place by thorns, they brought down their spears and pointed it at the cloaked pony.
"Release them NOW or face the consequences!" The leader said threateningly. The pony started chuckling before it began a maniacal laugh. The guards were on edge as they watch him stand there and just laugh. It took a few seconds for one of the guard to got the nerve to attack the intruder.
"Now that she out of the way, I can finally get what I came here for." He said before pointing at Luna. Luna tried to get up but dropped seconds later.
"What did thy do to me?" Luna said nearly standing. The cloaked pony stared back at her with an evil grin.
"Nothing special just bought an old memory back. Well two to be extract." He said before aiming the blade at Rarity.
"What do I have that you need?" She ask struggling to get out. The cloaked pony aimed his blade at her right before a guard dashed at him.
As two clashed, another guards tried to get the princesses and the others out but to no avail. The roots were as hard as diamonds, but looked like obsidian; Luna was then picked up by a friendship guard and taken out of the room.
"Don't worry Princess Luna, we'll get you out before you know it." He said carrying Luna out the room while the other guards try to defect the hooded pony. Luna felt like something being pulled out of her.
"Are you alright, Princess?" Asked the guard but before she could answer; she let out a painfully scream before flaring her wings pushing the guard away from her. She collapse to the ground. As she did, everyone in the room looked at her. The hooded pony stared with glee.
"Took you some time." He said smiling. The moment he said that Luna's shadow moved across the room like a snake.
"What the hay is that?!" Dash said frighten.
The shadow stopped moving as it landing in the middle of the friendship council's chairs. Everypony watches as a figure began to form from the shadow. It stood as tall as Celestia, it's mane & tail moved in a nonexistent wind.
"No it can't be?" Twilight whispered to herself. Everypony else were just as stocked in horror and disbelief.
"But it is, Sparkle." The hooded pony responded.
It's fur was a dark black color, mane & tail were like night time stars, raven wings, with crescent moon cutie mark.
"I thought you were gone, Nightmare Moon?" Luna said trying to get up.
Nightmare had her back facing the six and Celestia; she was wearing the same outfit like the intruder but had a strange symbol on her back.
Nightmare laughed softly before facing Luna.
"That maybe true but while I was in control; but I soon gain a heart of my own." She responded.
"But you were supposed to be dead like gone for good!" Dash yelled at Nightmare. Nightmare looked back at her, grinning.
"The Elements can't destroy a being, nor can it harm them. Why do you think Discord, a being of chaos and disharmony would be turned to stone? He should have been sealed away where his magic won't work nor escape." Nightmare said gaining their attention.
"What?" Fluttershy said in disbelief. Nightmare turned to Fluttershy next.
"Do you really think somebody like Discord could really be reform by losingyourfriendship? He has many friends in other universe, losing you would be like losing clear paper. He just using you for his own gain, just like when Tirek appeared." Nightmare said with no hint of lies.
"You lying! He would never harm or anything like that just cause he won't get giving thing out of it." Twilight said. Nightmare turned to her frowning."
"Oh really? What about the time Tirek escape? Could have captured him the moment he found Tirek but instead he allowed himself to his selfish gains and used you Twilight as a trap-card when he was finished causing chaos.
"Then where is he? Discord can sense chaos anywhere, and I'm sure me being here. Would he have saved you all by now or it is just another 'good' way to learn another friendship lesson. He is not a good being to turn to the light just cause he learn something, what it feels like to be on the joking side." Nightmare said as if the statement was already obvious. The hooded pony jabs his blade into the guards' chests unnoticed by the ponies. Twilight was about to say something but caught sight of two hearts floating up before fading away before casting lighting at the others.
"What did you just do to those guards!?" Twilight yelled. The hooded pony looked at before returning to the new member of his group.
"Time to go, Nightmare." He said not answering her question as portal opened the same one he came out from.
"And what makes you think I would go with you?" Nightmare asked. Purple smoke started to come out of the hooded pony's eyes. The ponies eyes widen in shock at whom it now was.
"Then you have to answer to me." Said a new voice from the portal. Another hooded figure appeared but from the way he looked, he was a pony.
"Whom might you be?" Nightmare asked.
"The one whom ordered to bring you back to the living, well sort of living." He said with no emotion in his voice. The hooded being turned to the who opened the portal.
"Sombra, return to the headquarters. I'll deal with you later." He said gaining some gasp. Sombra pulled off his hood glaring at his leader.
"And for what?" He asked.
"I ordered you to get Nightmare when the Luna is sleeping. Instead you come here and attacked them not only that you taking two guard's hearts." The leader spoken with anger.
"Now go or I'll force you." He said to Sombra. Sombra glared at him before mumbling something to himself while entering the portal. The leader looked at Nightmare.
"You go as well while deal with this." He said waving his hand to the still trapped ponies. Nightmare find herself interested of this creature. She walked over to the dark portal as she walked past him she noticed that his eyes were emerald green.
"See you at headquarters." Nightmare said grinning before disappearing in the portal.
The hooded being looked at the gang before snapping his fingers, dismissing the crystal thorns.
"It's nice to meet you all." He said to them.
"Sorry about this, we wanted to not make less...strange." the hooded figure said. Not understanding of what was happen only to know that two of their previous enemies are back.
"Who are you?" Twilight asked him but felt like she know the answer.
"My name is of no importance." He responded.
"What are you?" Celestia asked waiting for some kind of surprise.
"I am - but a mere shell of my former self." he responded emotionless.
"You're just saying that cause you don't want us to know who you are." Dash said frowning.
"You are very correct, I'm am and I'm am not." He said not making sense.
"Why are you talking like that." Twilight said standing near her friends. They all grouped together while the remaining guards take Luna out the room.
"Like I said I am a mere shell of my former self, a Nobody." He said letting the last word leave his lips.
"A Nobody? I highly doubt you are a nobody if you been planning saying against Equestria." Rarity said looking at him.
"I am not planning on hurting anypony. It would be a waste of time dealing with something troublesome." He said earning a glare from Dash.
"What do you mean 'It would be a waste of time dealing with something troublesome.'? Are we not worth the effort to fight?" Dash said glaring at him.
"Fighting you and your friends would be to easy for me to even try, but I'm not like all those other 'villains' you all face. All I want is to make amends to my past wrongs." He said looking Celestia. Celestia felt a little creeped out by the way he was staring at her.
"Why? What did you do? What could somepony be sentenced would think that?" Rarity asked. The figure looked at her angrily.
"I am a Nobody. How many time do I have to tell you?" He said raising a brow.
"Then what is a 'Nobody' is?" Dash said glaring un-trusting.
"Nobodies are born when a heart is swallowed by darkness and becomes a Heartless. They are the remaining parts left behind by the heart: the body, giving a Nobody form, and the soul, giving the Nobody life. However, only those with a strong will, like you all for an example , are actually able to continue on as Nobodies. Those with the strongest wills manage to retain humanoid forms (under special circumstances, the Nobody is formed with some slight changes in appearance), while the rest possess malformed, somewhat monstrous, barely humanoid appearances, such those called Creepers and Dusks. Nobodies become more humanoid the stronger their will." He said before summoning a piece of paper.
"And this is the Nobody's Emblem" He said as a symbol appeared.
"What I said is a simple version of them, this page will tell you the rest." He said as a portal open. Before he could enter, Celestia called to him. He turned back to the group.
"What was the symbol or emblem on Nightmare Moon's back?" She asked as Twilight read the piece of paper they were given. He didn't say as he looked at them mostly eyeing Sweetie Bell.
"Nightmare." was all he said before disappearing in the portal. Before anyone could speak, a flash of light appeared blinding the group for a second.
"Sorry I was late, I was dirtying my dishes. What did I miss?" Ask the god of chaos, Discord. Everypony looked at him shocked. Discord tilted his head confused.
"Doing fine." The castle nurse nodded. Luna has been place hospital bed, she has been placed there after the encounter.
"How long she going to be here?" Celestia asked worried. The nurse looked slightly nervous as the sun princess kept asking questions.
"Well it's unknown if she might ever woke up as this has never happened before. All we can do is hope for the best." The nurse said before walking to the right side of the unconscious night princess checking for any sign of response the breathing. Celestia walked over to the other side of Luna, worried about her well being. After checking the nurse left the room, leaving the princesses to themselves.
"Luna, if you can hear me please wake up." Celestia asked. A sun guard appeared from the hospital's doors.
"Princess, you are needed in the throne room of friendship" He said to her.
'Twilight should have thought of a better name.' Celestia thought to herself.
"Show me what's wrong." Celestia said as the two walked out the room.
Luna was falling down in a deep dark abyss, it felt like she was slowing sinking in water. Luna's wasn't sure if she wanted to open her already closed eyes as she fell into the abyss. The only light was above her but she was downing deeper into the abyss, the light was slowly fading as she descend.
Suddenly she felt the gravity the this world she's in shifted, Luna slowly landed on a flat surface. Opening her eyes; Luna saw nothing but darkness. Looking up, she saw a small bit of light. It doesn't seem to be big enough to be able to light this place but she could see slightly but not enough.
"Where....where am I?" She thought to herself. As she takes a step on the flat surface, the dark flat surface began to fade away. Luna covered her eyes as the floor light up brightly. After a second, she lowered her arms and was greeted by doves flying around her. The doves flew from under her uncover an image in such Luna wasn't looking at. Luna watched as the doves flew around her, after the last dove join the dole*. Luna watched as dole of doves flow of into the abyss leaving only feathers. It was beautiful and strangely hopeful.
Luna looked down as the ground, light was emitting from under her. Luna looked down and was greeted by image herself well her young self. Young Luna was smiling, above her was the moon. Three were shown, two were crescent moon but they were facing to the opposite of each other, and the last one was above her young self's head. Luna looked away as she know what it was.

Luna looked away from it, noticing the stars surrounding her. On the bottom was her Sister, Celestia. Luna looked around some more hoping to found an exit, but found none. Luna did notice that she was stand near the edge of what seems to be a pillar, right in front of the image of her older sister.
"So much to do," Spoke a genderless voice. Luna almost jumped at the sudden voice. Luna up and down, she couldn't find where it was coming from.
"Show thy self!" Luna yelled to the voice.
"So little time...." The voice once again spoke. Luna looked around again.
"Take you time." The voice said to her.
"Don't be afraid." It said again.
"I'm not afraid!" Luna yelled back.
"The door is still shut." It said, ignoring her comment. Luna decided to not even try to talk to this being.
"Now, step forward. Can you do it?" It asked. Luna felt insulted by it question.
'Does this being think I some new born foal?"' she thought to herself. Luna walked forward till she reach the middle of this pillar.
"True power sleeps within you." It told her. The pillar raised from the ground as light, Luna turned around as a small pillar (chest height). Luna looked and shield. It is pentagonal and its bottom three corners are rounded. It has a red border and the top and bottom two corners all sport a silver bolt or pin. Most of the face of the shield is black, save for the prominent what seems to be a mouse symbol in the center. This symbol is red and has a pale yellow outline.
"If you give it form..." It told her. Next to show was but was what appeared was a strange rod with the same mouse shape tip. Both ends of the rod's handle are tan, while the handle itself is predominantly green. There is a wide, brown disk on the tip of the handle, which the head of the staff is connected to. The staff's head is a blue mouse head.
"It will give you strength." It spoke again. Luna turned to look at a sword with the same mouse symbol on the halt. A generic short sword with a black mouse symbol on the hilt and a blue handle. The pommel is simple and golden in color.
"Choose well." It sated. Luna didn't take a second thought as she walked towards the sword.
'Like who wouldn't chose a sword as their first weapon?' Luna thought to herself.
As Luna pick up the floating sword, the voice spoke again.
"The power of the warrior. Invincible courage: the will to stand against anything.. A sword ofterrible destruction." It told her like it was a warning.
"It's this the power you seek?" The voice asked.
"Yes." Luna answered. As she did the sword disappeared in a flash of light.
"Your path has been set." It said to her. Luna looked up hoping to leave this place, as it was starting to creep her out.
"Now, what will you give up an exchange?" It asked as Luna looked towards the remaining weapons. Luna walked over to the Staff, as she picked it up the voice spoke to her.
"The power of the mystic. Inner strength is spirit: power the eye cannot see. A staff of wonder and ruin." It told her. Luna lets go of the staff and walks over to the shield, picking it up the voice spoke again.
"The power of the guardian. Kindness to aid friends. A shield to repel all." It told her.
'Strength and Magic is my specialty. Being a guardian....' Luna thought.
"You give up this power?" It asked her.
"Yes." Luna said to the voice.
"You are sure?" It asked sadly. Luna looked back at the shield.
"Yes." Luna told it, the shield shattered in her hands.
'I can't save anyone, being a guardian like my sister.' Luna told herself, frowning.
"You chosen the power of awarrior." It told her before the small pillar sunk into the floor. Luna quickly jumped off, but as she did the entire pillar she was on began to shatter. Luna watched as her young image broke into pieces; Luna then fell into the abyss again. As she did, she watch the shattered pieces of the pillar spread around her like stars. Luna fall for a second before being greeted by her older self.
It was the same but dark blue, with bats than stars. Luna was gentle place on this new pillar. Before Luna even move a muscle, the sword she chose appeared before her, on her right hand.
"You've have the power to fight." It told her, Luna did a horizontal slash to the right.
"All right! You got it." It said happily.
"Use this power to protect yourself and others." The voice said to her.
"There will be times you have to fight," It told as a strange shadow appear from the floor. Luna looked at it with curiosity before it raise off the floor like it was a getting up.
"Even when you wonder in the darkness, don't let your light burn out." The voice told her. Luna felt like smiling at the comment like it was something her mother would to her.
Luna focused back to the shadow creature but noticed there was about seven of them. They were as tall as her.
The shadow looked humanoid body structure, pitch black skin and spherical, glowing yellow eyes. It's crooked antennae are quite long and fall back behind it. It seems to be rather muscular, and its hands are very large, each one sporting five clawed fingers. Its feet, are long and lack digits, it resemble boots. Its body is also lined by several faint, blue veins of color.
Luna ready herself as one of the shadows dashed at her. Luna side jumped out of the way before doing a down slash as it passed by her. It was slammed to the ground from her slash, before it could got up Luna jabbed her sword into it's back. It burst to dust leaving odd green orbs that went into Luna. Luna glowed in green fire a second, feeling slightly better. Unknown to her, a shadow moved behind her.
"Behind you!" The voice yelled. Luna quickly ducked as the shadow tried to jab her with it's claw. Luna then did a horizontal slash to the right hitting the shadow's side. It is throw to the side. The other shadows dash at her as she turned to face them. Luna tried to cast a shield spell but nothing happen as a result, she was hit in chest before being butt-headed by another one. Luna was then thrown across the floor, her body bounce a few times before she flips over and landed on her feet. Looking up, Luna show the six shadow sink into the floor and rushed towards her.
"Come out and fight!" Luna yelled at them. They responds...jumped out cause a shock-wave, making Luna's body shake. The shadows used this to their advantage. Two of them jumped at her as the other four surrounded her. Luna tossed her blade at the shadow in front of her before rolling out of the way. The blade stuck itself into the shadow's chest, the shadow looked at it's chest.
The other shadows were shocked at her action but dashed at her as she rushed to her blade. The shadow that had the blade in it's chest quickly thrust its claw at her but Luna grabbed her blade and pulled her blade up causing the shadow to follow it's motive. The shadows that were coming at her but were then hit by one of their own as Luna tossed the jabbed shadow at them.
The shadows were thrown back before being slashed at. Luna watched as they turn to dust, looking around she didn't she any other shadow. After the coast were clear, Luna exhaled her her breath that she didn't even noticed she was holding. Looking below her, she noticed black spots on the floor. Noticing this, Luna quickly ready herself as she thought more of those were coming but instead the black spot spread further covering the happy image of herself. Before she called even move, the pillar was entirely cover in black. Luna began to sink into it, flapping her wings she tired but was soon sucked in. Before she even noticed tentacles coiled themselves around her legs, Luna tried to pulled them off but soon more tentacles wrapped themselves on her waist before pulling her down.
"Let go!!!" Luna yelled as she grabs the tentacles on her waist trying to pry them off but then her arms were tied by the tentacles. Luna slowly struggled as she descends into the pillar. All Luna can do, is watch as the light slowly faded from her vision.
Luna struggled as she tries to break free from her bounds. Shutting her eyes as she tries to break free till she open her eyes noticing she was no longer bound nor trap in the dark. Luna looked around before getting up, as she did she noticed the image on this pillar. Luna frown at what was shown.
"I can never escape you, can I?" Luna said to herself. The image was Nightmare moon laughing in victory, scattered piece of the elements circled her, Twilight was at the bottom with a disbelief look. Luna lowered her head as she notices her sister's stern glare at Nightmare. Luna felt her regret memories of her time as Nightmare moon. As she stood there, she didn't noticed the ten shadows creatures that reappeared.
"Look out!" the voice warned her. Luna was brought out of her thoughts as a shadow jumped at her. Luna quickly side slash at it, before changing the blade and cast a magic slash at another shadow. Both shadows faded as more showed up. Luna quickly took a fighting stands before dashing at remaining shadows. Quickly, Luna slashed diagonally upward from her right leg before , then slashed from the left leg , lone rush forward before ending it with a down slash. Four shadows burst to dust before casting several magic missiles, destroying the remaining enemies. Luna waited for a moment to insure there wasn't any more of those things. After a few seconds, Luna let out a sigh of relief.
"At least is over." Luna said to herself. After saying that Luna noticed as the light above shined far in front of her. A door appeared, it looked odd as nothing kept it up.
Luna walked over to it as she assume it was the way out of the place. As she walked over to the door, she halted as the voice speak again.
"A power foe awaits you." It told her with grave danger. Luna took note of that before the open all by itself. The door open slowly as a bright light poured out of the creak as it was about to open all the way it sudden closed on itself and faded. Luna nearly jumped as it closed shut in front of her. After it vanished, Luna frowned as she was nearly out of here. The voice speak again as the light above her shined on her, making her shadow look taller than her.
"The closer you get to thelight," The voice said as Luna turned to face her shadow.
"The greateryour shadowbecomes." It said as Luna's shadows began to move away from her. Luna watched her shadow began to come off the ground.
Luna's shadow took her form before it changed and took the appearance of wearing armor. The armor was black and midnight blue, with moonlight white torn cape, it waved in a non-existing wind motion. The armor itself has an overall unique model, and is decorated with small silver chains, intricate and ornamental designs on the boots, lower torso and gauntlets, two sets of shoulder guards underneath the initial armored spikes mounted on the shoulders, and even several large fasteners located all over the body that link each piece of the armor together. Several other spikes protruding from various parts of the body as well as six large horn-like spikes on the very top of the helmet to accompany the large eye-like sockets in the front, the eye-like sockets had a mist of shadows coming out of it.
"Who are thou?" Luna asked before she could get an answer, the armored being rushed at her at the speed of the a train. Luna quickly jumped to the side as the armor shadow dashed past her. Luna turned and quickly cast as magic bream at the figure but the shadow raised it's hand and a shield appeared seconds before the bream hit. Smoke followed after the bream hit the shield, Luna cursed to herself. She couldn't see her opponent as the smoke gave it making it hard to know when it would attack.
"Better be safe than sor-!" Luna didn't finish as she ducked from a magic missile.
Looking turned the fading smoke, the armored shadow stood with its right hand aimed at her. Before she could even decide to attack; the armor dashed again but it whole body change with violet with black in it's core. Luna cast a shield spell in front of her as the armored shadow rushed at her but it proved to do nothing as it just went straight through it. Luna felt the electricity go through her as it's metal collided with her. Luna's body was high resistant to magic but only to a few like Ice and dark but lighting is not one of them. Luna was thrown on her feet but was then grab on the foot before being thrown up in the air. The armored shadow summoned it's scythe before jumping up towards Luna. Luna tried to move but her body wouldn't listen as her opponent slammed to the ground chest first. The armored shadow cast a few dark energy blasts then four dark firaga which were aimed at Luna. Luna bounce of the ground before being bombard by magic missiles. The bombardment created a smoke cloud, the armored shadow entered the smoke and kicked Luna.
She skipped across the ground but nearly at the edge of the pillar. Luna get back up and glared at the armored shadow. The two stared at each other before both ran straight at each other. Luna changed her blade which had a black and dark blue hue surrounding it as the armored shadow had a black and red aura surrounding it. The two neared it other before clashing, the two went from blow to blow. Trying to lay a hit on each other but their weapons blocked the other attack. Both jumped back before casting dark missiles at each other. The missiles collided with each other creating a fog of smoke. The armored shadow dashed forward before Luna could even counter, it strike and made Luna lose her grip of the sword before teleported behind her. Luna got knocked out as she was then grabbed by the armored shadow. It looked at her before walking towards the edge of the pillar.
It places a keychain in Luna's right hand; Luna mumbled something inaudible. The armored shadow stopped inches from the edge before tossing her into the abyss. It watched as Luna fell into the unknown darkness, it turned and walked towards the center of the pillar. It then sat down waiting for it's opponent to return.
As Luna descended into the abyss, a portal with a keyhole opened as Luna drew near. Luna entered that portal as it closed.
"While today is getting more and more interesting." A young teenager said as he looked at unconscious blue mare. He cocked his head in confusion as he never seen something this before. He looked at her left palm.
"Not a player then same as Sora." He said to himself.
"Ah-Miss pony? Hello?" The boy shook the mare's shoulder. The mare's eyes slowly opened a bit before noticing the creature in front of her.
"Who are thou?!" Luna said before jumped back. The teenager looked at her confused at the way she is talking before answering.
"I would like to ask you the same question." He said crossing his arms sounding bored. Luna looked at the young clot.
He is a rather lanky teenager. He has distinctive spiky orange hair and blue eyes. Wearing a pair of purple colored headphones, with the tube-shaped white audio player hung around his neck. He wears a sleeveless, purple-grey shirt with a high collar that has a purple stripe going down the middle, with the stripe outlined in yellow with white shorts, held up by a loose-fitting black belt. The shorts haves two large pockets with purple stripes on top, the stripes also outlining a pair of yellow buttons on each pocket. His shoes match the design of his shirt, purple-grey with a purple stripe outlined by yellow. The shoes have four yellow buttons with white straps that replace shoelaces. The clot sports a yellow sweatband on his left wrist.
"I'm an Princess Luna, Princess of the Night and who are thou young clot?" Luna asked him. The clot looked at her oddly before shaking his head. Luna got up and noticed that she was slightly taller than this clot.
"Neku Sakuraba. One of the few players in a game called Reaper's game." Neku said to the princess. Luna cocked her head at the word 'Reaper's game'
"What is this Reaper's game, Sir Neku?" Luna asked him.
"It's a game where those who died battle to win a second chance." He said to her. Luna was shocked at how it is done.
"Why would a being play with which an act as death?" Luna asked him shocked. Neku shrugged not knowing himself.
"All I know is that I being timed." He said before his left hand which had a timer. 54:20 and counting. Luna found this very odd.
"What happens when it hits zero." Luna asked him raising a brow.
"I die." Neku said with a sorrow in his voice. Luna's mouth nearly dropped before she composed herself.
"A-anyways, where an I?" Luna asked him. Neku looked around for a second before looking back at Luna.
"Well, I would like to welcome you to Traverse Town." He said happily...sort of. Luna around noticing how weird this place is.
"Thank you but my I ask you one question." Luna asked him. Neku nodded.
"What is the creature next to you?" Luna asked pointing towards the odd creature behind him. Neku turned before jumping back.
"How long was that there?" Neku asked while in a fighting stance. Luna looked at him confused.
"Not long, but why is thou frighten by this?" Luna asked him.
"That's a Dream Eater, one of the two types, a Nightmare and Sprites. That one is a Nightmare." Neku said to Luna.
"Nightmare? Why would this be a nightmare? I think it's cute." Luna looked at the little nightmare creature.
The top half of its body is black, and the bottom is pink. It has white bands wrapping around its legs with black paws, and the Nightmare Emblem is located on its chest. The spots are purple in color, as are the tips of its ears. It has red round pupils and a mint green tongue, as well as white muzzle and pale blue horn on its forehead. And lastly possesses a white tail and a black nose.
"That may be so but that doesn't mean it can still be dangerous. It's called a Meow Wow." Neku warned. Luna looked at him like he was joking.
"Seriously? The name makes it even more cute." Luna said looking at him but he suddenly gasped. Luna looked at him before turning to at two giants beasts.
"Now that's a Nightmare." Luna said readying herself.
It had large brown body with an orange streak going down the side of it. It has a blue belly, and on its shoulders it has turquoise purple ridges. On its legs are four dots, going from light blue to purple, and it has large pink and purple claws at the end of its feet and hands, which are brown and blue. Its large tail has colorful, blade-like ridges. It had the Nightmare emblem on it's forehead.
"Luna, we need to leave." Neku said her.
"Thou shalt leave while I handle them." Luna told him in a seriously tone. Neku's eyes widen at her.
"Are you crazy?! You don't have any weapon nor a sprites." Neku told her. Luna thought about it before raising her right hand and aimed at him..
"Then I'll just use Magic?" She said before snapping her fingers but nothing happen. Snapping again but still nothing. Luna looked confused at herself as well as they Nightmares and Neku.
"What are you doing?" He asked her keeping an eye on the Nightmares.
"Trying to cast a magic spell." She told him snapping her fingers at the nightmare again. The nightmares looked at each other confused at to what's she doing.
"Hate to tell you this but Pegasus can't use magic. Unless they have a horn." He told her. Luna turned to look at him.
"I'm an Alicorn, a mixed breed of earth pony, unicorn, and pegasus. I can use magic." Luna told him. Neku rubbed the back of his head.
"Uh might want to check that." He told her.
"Why?" She asked. Neku pointed at his forehand.
"You don't have a horn." He told her. Luna raised her hand to her forehead, she place her hand were her horn should be but felt nothing. Rubbed the area and still nothing.
"Where-where's my horn." She asked herself.
"You never had one, when I found you." He said to her. Luna stopped as she realized what going on.
"Who's Discord?" Neku asked her. Luna's left eye twitched as she believes this is all a joke but things here seem to 'off' to be Discord related. Luna looked towards the Nightmares, they stared at the two. Neku was waiting for one of them to attack. Luna was distracted by confusion before remembering what was going on.
"No matter, I'll handle this." She said to Neku. Neku looked at her shocked.
"And how would do that,Princess?" Neku said. Luna looked at him smirking.
"I may not have magic but I still have my Earth pony Strength." She said before thrusting her wings and slammed into one of beast. She slammed into it making it crash into a brick wall. The beast bounce off the wall and fall to the ground. The catdog nightmares just back as Luna slammed into the another beast slamming it against a wall. Neku stood there shocked at her speed and strength.
"She as strong as a Reaper or even stronger." He said to himself before noticing the grounded Tyranto Rex get up. It's mouth began to be engulf by fire, it glowed like a campfire before becoming a wildfire. Neku looked towards Luna as she dodged out of a Meow Wow's headbutt. Neku quickly pulled out an Earthshake pin, he wonder if it would affect Luna. Not wanting her to get burned, he used it.
As Luna delivered a punched to the Meow Wow that tried to headbutt, it was thrown to it's back before bouncing back to it's feet. Still with the goofy look. Luna quickly jumped to her left as the beast bite at the spot she was at before. It looked at her with it's red eyes, glaring at her. Luna looked back at it with smug grin. Luna was about to kick it but the ground started to shake not to her, but the nightmares. Neku then used his Wonder Magnum to fire a burst of three-way bullets at the Meow wows before using the Frantic Pin to summon up a whirlwind to capture the Nightmares but was only able to catch the Meow wows in as the Tyranto Rex was too heavy to lift into the whirlwind.
Luna watched as she dodge out of the rex's attack range, she was awestruck by the clot's ability. Before she could even speak, she was tail whipped by Tyrant Rex. She was thrown to lamppost, the lamp post dent as Luna landed on it. Neku finished off the Tyrant Rex, before using the Meteor Spike Pin on the Meow Wow in front of him. Five boulders appear out of thin air above the Meow Wows, the boulders fall bombarding the Nightmares.
"That takes care of you three." He said to himself. Neku turned after hearing metal bent, turning towards Luna and the Nightmare. Luna was stuck in lamppost before using Blast Warning Pin to make a wall of fire between Luna and the Dino Nightmare. Neku quickly ran over to Luna and helped pull her out.
"You alright?" He asked Luna was slightly injured. Luna looked up at Neku as he helped her to the stairs, Luna had her arm over his shoulder.
"Why is thou helping? We just met." Luna asked Neku. Neku looked at her before reaching the stairs.
"Well I can't leave someone hurt to continued fighting." He told her Luna was about to ask more but caught the sight of the beast nightmare jumping over the wall of fire. Then it slowly walked over to them, Luna could tell that it didn't notice her looking at it do to her mane blocking her face. The moment Neku noticed Luna looking behind them, he looked back to be greeted by a fireball.
The two were thrown to the ground from the impact, Neku was slightly fine but Luna was not. Quickly he used Demon's Hatred pin causing an explosion in front of the nightmare knocking it back before using One Grain, Infinite Promise pin sending energy bullets at the Tyranto Rex. The bombardment ended the Tyranto Rex turning to puff of dust, Neku then used Healing Whale to heal himself and Luna. Neku got up before helping Luna up as well, Luna looked around for any more of those Nightmares. Seeing as there wasn't anymore Luna thanked Neku before standing on her on.
"Thank you, Neku. But why didn't you use that before?" Luna asked him.
"Didn't know if that would work on you." He said to her.
"Oh make sense." Luna said to him. Neku nodded before turning around and walked off.
"Where are thou going?" Luna said walking towards him, Neku turned to look at her.
"I'm look for my friend. We were attacked and got separated." Neku said to her before turning back to the stairway. Luna looked around knowing that she might ran into the Nightmares.
"Then I'll help you as you helped me." Luna said walking by him. Neku looked at her before accepting her help.
"Sure." He said to her. Luna looked at him before speaking.
"Could you tell me what was the magic you used." Luna asked as the two walked to a door between buildings.
"They're pins." He told her, Luna looked at him as they entered a new area.
'Fourth District' said a sign on a pole.
"And what are this pins? I'm sure they don't act as they should be." Luna said to Neku. Neku smirked abit.
"I that what I said to when I was first use them." Neku said to her.
"Care to explain." She asked him. Neku scratched his right cheek.
"Well Pins are used to activated Psychs or in your case magic." He told her, Luna listen as they travel this district.
"Psychs have four affinities: Positive: Melee attacks, Negative: Ranged attacks, Neutral: "Irregular" attacks, Ability: Fixed effects that do not deal direct damage." Neku said to her. Neku went on to explain from what he knows.
"And what powers these Pins?" Luna asked Neku.
"Imagination. The more Imagination one has, the more pins the person is able to use." Neku explained.
The two walked through the district as he explained, Luna looked around noticed many buildings embellished with many bright lights and decorations such as streamers. This area houses multiple shops, including a Dream Eater shop which has a balloon in the shape of a paw hanging outside the door. The largest and most prominent feature within the district is a large tower similar to a lighthouse, to which various streamers are tied. The two walked over to a building that said 'Flick Rush Colosseum".
"What's this?" Luna asked as they neared the Colosseum.
"This the Flick Rush Colosseum. A place where people battle with their Dream Eater against each other,kupo." Said someone from behind them. The two jumped back from the voice. The two turn to look at what was talking to them. What was there was three plush toys floating in the air.
"Oh, it's just you Moogles." Neku said to it. Luna stared at it, confused by it's appearance.
They are small, white creatures resembling plush toys, with large, spherical heads, small ears sprouting out of the sides of their heads, and stubby hand and feet that lack distinct digits. Their eyes are constantly narrowed into brown slits, giving the appearance of being closed and their noses are bulbous and pink. It also sport tiny, purple wings like those of a bat on their backs and, perhaps their most distinctive traits, large, red, spherical "pom-poms" on attached to the tops of their heads by a thin, brown antenna.
"And what are you, three?" Luna asked confused.
"They're called Moogles and that's all I can say as I have no idea where they even came from nor how to tell the differs." Neku told her as two other Moogles went towards the Colosseum leave them with one.
"And what it's your name? My's Luna." Luna said to it.
"I'm Stiltzkin." The Moogle greeted back. Luna smiled as Stiltzkin left them to be with it's friends...family?
"To be honest," Neku said to Luna not even looking at her.
"I have no Idea how they don't get attack by the Nightmares." Neku told her as they watch the Moogles float in place not doing anything. Luna watched for a second before speaking.
"They might be more tougher than they look." Luna said to him smiling. Neku laughed abit.
"That could be true." Neku said as they walked over to the Moogles to see if they have seen Neku's partner. As they did, Luna walked by a large chest. Stopping in her tracks, she turned to look at it. It was nearly three feet tall, reaching up to her waist.
Luna stared at it before giving it a hard kick causing it to open. Light poured out before a piece of paper floated in front of her. Luna stared before slowly grabbing it. After she took the paper, the chest faded out a exists. Confused, she looked at the paper wonder what it said.

"What is this?" Luna asked. Neku looked at the paper in her hand.
"That helps you make a Spirits but a Nightmare? That new." Neku told her. Luna became interest in this.
"How do I make one." Luna asked him. Neku was concerned about this.
"I don't think that would be a good idea." He said to her. Luna looked up from the paper.
"Thou don't have to worry as I, Luna princess of the night and dreams, will tame this beast." She said to him with proud. Neku stared at her before looking back at the paper.
"Well you're going to be needing what on there." He told her. Luna looked at the paper noticing the ingredients it need.
"Where do I have this?" She asked him.
"From the Nightmares. Each one while have a different Dream Piece." He told her. Luna looked at him.
"And this Dream Piece comes from those Nightmares." Luna said to him. Neku thought for a second before showing her one of the Pieces.
It was a consists of a purple orb with six orange-tipped spikes, detailed with a spiraling star.
"This is a Wild Fantasy." He told her handing her the piece before pulling out more.
He pulled out what looks like circular glasses with six spikes on each lens, each one with a stripe of the same color of the spirals on them.
"This is a Noble Fantasy." He said handing her three before getting one last piece out.
The last one represented by a whirlpool.
"And this is a Rampant Figment." He told her handing her two.
"Why are you giving me these?" She asked him.
"You be needing help when fighting the Nightmares." He said to her.
"Thanks, Neku." Luna said to him.
"Welcome." He said before turning towards the stairs.
"Where are you going?" Luna asked. Neku turned to her.
"I got separated from my partner, Shiki ." He said before jumping onto a rail and speed off as he glowed in pink aura.
"What?" She said in disbelief.
When Neku made it to the large doors of the next District, he pulled out his cell phone.
"Plus I think I found our mission." He said to looked at the text on his cell. Opening the door, he walked in but stop as he looked back to where Luna was. A part of heart told him to go back and help her while the other told to go found Shiki and Luna would be fine. Neku sigh as he continued on.
She tired to think but couldn't understood how he did that. She decided not question it more than she needs. She went back to the paper, she stared at it wonder how it even make this Dream Eater.
"So did I just think about it?" She asked herself, thinking of the Dream Eater. As she did the Dream Piece flew out of her hands and swirled a round her before floating in front of her. The Piece fused together in a bright light. In the light dined Luna stared at the Dream Eater in front of her. In it's place was a puppy, it's eyes were red, fur was deep blue with cyan spots on it's face and tail as a big one on it's back had the Nightmare symbol, it's paws were pink and purple.
It stared at Luna for a few seconds before jumping on her. Luna fell over while giggling. It started to lick her cheeks happily like a normal puppy would. Luna felt it's tongue rub against her face. She patted it's head in response to it's friendly gesture. It's jumped off of her, Luna got up as it pounce ran around her. Luna smiled at it and also noticed it was about 3ft tall, about close to her hips. She kneel down looked at it, before rubbing it's belly, then suddenly it started to sparkle with the sudden change of it's eyes from red to sky blue, and the eyes went from cycles to stars. Luna decided to gave it a name.
"I'll call you Midnight." Luna Said to Midnight. Midnight jumped around happy at it's name. Luna was too by Midnight to noticed the Moogle flying to her.
"It seem you're doing well with your Dream Eater,kupo." The Moogle said to her, making her jump in surprise. Midnight jumped as well.
"Hello Stiltzkin." Luna said to it. The Moogle laughed before speaking.
"I'm not Stiltzkin. I'm Alice." The Moogle told her. Luna stared at it before deciding to not any try to tell the differences.
"Anywho, What do you need?" Luna asked it. Luna couldn't tell if it was a boy or girl.
"Since you have a Dream Eater, I would like gave some things for your Dream Eater." Alice said before summoning a wand and then summoned some items. The Items were a paint gun, a water barrel, balloons, etc.
"Ah, thank you?" Luna said looking at the paint gun. The moogle returned to it's place with it's friends. Luna looked at Midnight before trying out what's she was given.
"Midnight, do you want to play with a balloon?" Luna said to him(She was sure it was a him). Midnight wagged his tail excitedly. Luna pulled out the fully aired balloon and tossed it at him. Midnight jumped to bump it back only for the balloon to pop into two different balloons one green, and the other blue. The two balloons came towards Luna as she stood there confused but shook herself out of it as the balloons came near. Luna bumped them back, Midnight bumped one that was near him then the other which both then split into two make four balloons of the colors. Red, Yellow, Green, Blue. Luna bumped them back as quickly as she could as they came towards her pretty quick. This went on for about five minutes, the two played with the balloons making about thirty appear. It would be an odd sight for anyone (besides the Moogles) to see. After awhile all the balloons popped, leaving Midnight confused. Luna blinked confused before pushing that to the 'Don't question it' side of her mind.
"I guess we better get going." Luna said as the two walked off. Luna walked by some rails near the stairs and remembered what Neku do. Luna decided to try whatever the heck he did. Luna jumped onto the rail and before she could think her body glowed in a pink aura. She then rode the rail up the stairs, as she dashed though she noticed that Midnight wasn't with her. She jumped off but was surprised by how high she jumped. As she landed, Midnight reappeared in a puff of smoke.
Midnight barked happily seeing Luna. Luna smiled back before being hit from behind. Midnight backed angrily at the attacker, which was a skeletal fish.
Luna got up, turning towards the opponent. She cocked her head at the bone fish.
"I've heard of being skinny but that's about a bit much." Luna said to it. Suddenly more Fishbone appeared along with a snake, a cat spiky thing, and a bat.
The cat thing is a small, hairy lion-like creature consisting of a head with feet and a tail. Its shape is a circle, covered with prickles. It has circular red eyes, and a spiky dark purple mane covers most of its body, in addition to a green colored face with a yellow nose and a mouth lined with sharp pointed teeth. The Nightmare Dream Eater symbol is located on the bottom of its mane. Its ears and tail are striped with pink, yellow, and purple. Its green legs have purple paws with blue nails. The tail has a spiky tuft of dark purple fur.
The snake thing resembles a fusion of a snake and lizard. It has a curve-based structure with a spiked spine. It has multiple teeth along with a horn resting atop its head. There is no visible nose. It has a lime colored head, with two yellow spots as cheeks, and white, pointy teeth. It has red, squared eyes, and black spikes line its head down its spine. The Nightmare emblem is located on its colorful underbelly, that is lime, fading to purple. Its back is purple, and its body ends in a lime coiled and black-spiked tail that melts into an orange, purple, then finally black. It has two thin, lime legs and it wears purple and black shoes.
The bat has a small body. Its round, furry head has a diamond mark covering its face, with large, frilled ears, tiny eyes, and two small fangs. Two small, clawed feet hang from its body, while two large, thin wings extend outward. The wings are covered with four-pointed stars, one of them much larger than the others. It has a purple body and yellow feet. Its head is black with a light blue diamond, while the inside of its ears are pink, fading into purple, the back of its ears are lime. It has red eyes with, and its fangs are blue, the same color as the diamond on its head. Its wings are dark blue, while the stars on the wings are blue and green, and outlined in white.
"Bring some friends?" She said to them, in response they attacked the two.
Luna and Midnight jumped out of the way as the snakes rolled at them. Luna watched the Nightmares as they tried to surround them. The cat things jumped towards Luna from behind to bite her but Luna side jumped before catching it by the tail and used it was a wrecking ball. As she hit the incoming Nightmares, She spin it around causing it to bring out it's spikes from it's body. Midnight slashed at some with it's blade like tail and bite on a few. The two were able to take out most of the Nightmares but they got hit a few times, Luna noticing some Dream piece floating in place after some Nightmare burst to dust. The Pieces flew to Luna and was absorbed by her. Luna was confused but focused on the battle, Midnight was biting a bat by the wing and was hanging as the bat tried to get him off. It span around trying to pry of the puppy but Midnight stayed to where he was. Luna was about to help but was then hit from behind, the snake and bone fish attacked her from behind. The fish shot of bream of water at her, making her fall to the ground flat on her chest as the snake rolled at her. It was about to hit Luna but was thrown back by Midnight as he lost his grip on the bat. Midnight was thrown at the snake accidentally. The two collided and the snake burst to dust, leaving a dream piece behind.
Midnight got up and started turning red. He rushed at the fish, slashing it with his tail till it burst before jumping up at the bat and slashed it's claws at it. The bat turned to dust leaving a strange orb which went to Luna. Luna brushed off some dirt as Midnight went back to normal, he then jumped on her and started licking her. Luna laughed a bit before placing him down. Luna then looked through her pockets for any of those pieces.
She had four Rampant Figments, three Troubling Figments, one Wondrous Fancy. She also had 150 of those orb things, she was sure how she knew how much she had but it just came to her. She also had a cog keychain. She put them all back into her pockets before going back to learning how this place works. She jumped to a wall and started glow in pink aura, she then jumped off. She flew higher than she expected before grabbing onto another wall and dashed forwards. She went around the whole area of this place, she rail slide ropes, got to a bell tower finding a large chest and opening it getting another dream eater recipe.
"I wonder what this is?" She said to herself while reading it.

Special Dark Mist
Luna placed the paper her pocket. She then jumped of the bell tower and landed lightly on the ground. She and Midnight traveled to a nearby doors which were the sizes of the Castle's doors just with image on top.
On the door was the words ' Fountain Plaza'. Luna wonder what this is, so she walked in. She and Midnight was greeted by massive eponymous fountain, which was in the shape of a heart with two water geysers. In the middle of the heart was a two towers, one half the size of the heart fountain and a smaller tower in the middle of the second tower. Luna stared at it in awe, was she hasn't seem something likes this in years, not even her ponies could make something like this. Luna noticed something way up top of the fountain. Luna jumped before flapping her wings but only fall face first into the water.
'Guess I lost the ability to fly? Just great.' She thought to herself.
Not only did she lose her magic, found out there's a world beyond her's, she no longer, and now she can't fly. Great just great.
"Might have to get used to this." She said to herself before jumping up on the water tower. She soon reached the top, she found a small chest. Opening it; she found a bangle.
It had a smooth, relatively thin bracelet. It is a faded red color with thin, dark red, flame-like designs on it. The ends of the bangle are blunt, silver and black spikes.
Placing it on; Luna felt slightly tougher like her defense has raisin. Jumping down and landing softly; she made her way to a two pathway clearing. There was some lamps nearby. Walking into the clearing she was then jumped by some more Dream Eaters. There were those Meow Wow, Tyranto Rex, Komory Bat, Fishbone, and Hebby Repp. Luna ready herself as the Nightmares tried to attack her and Midnight but out of nowhere a blazing fire slashed straight across the nightmares. The nightmares burst to smoke as the figure stood to the side of the former standing Nightmares. Luna was slightly cautious as the figure turned to her. She got a good look at what they were wearing. They wear wearing a black cloak with the hood covering they head. Their weapons was blade in one hand and in the other was a small scythe, they were purple and black.
Luna felt something was off about this, but before she could open her mouth for a 'thanks' the cloaked being pointed his blade at her. The cloaked figure looked at her before walking away to the left pathway. Luna followed them, Midnight tilted their head in confusion but followed. She distanced herself from them so they wouldn't noticed her but as she did she was greeted a series of routes and confusing streets. She made her way through it but got lost here and there, she rode a stream of water up a building, jumped from rooftop to rooftop testing her new ability, and found more chest filled with strange shaped treats. Luna had fought some Nightmares and got more Dream pieces. After while of searching for the cloaked being with no trances, she decided to enter a post office that was nearby.
The post office was the most weirdest place she has mostly wound ever be in. There were rails everywhere. Books and mails were stacked, there was a big red thing in the middle of the place with rails going through it. Not want to lose the cloaked stranger, she jumped on a green rail and was rushed forward. She passed by the red tower thing, looked towards the yellow rail which lead to what might be an exit. She landed on what she thinks is a platform to two sides of it filled with mail and other things. She looked to her left and saw another platform with a chest, she looked at what rail lead to it. A blue rail lead to it.
Luna jumped onto it and moved turns it. Her ears touched a bit as she hear voices. One was slightly rough and male, and another was soft and female.
"Yo,where did that hooded guy went to?" Said the male voice. Luna made to the platform and quietly walked to the chest not wanted to catch their attention.
"I don't know but I don't understood the mission 'Find the blue horn winged princess.'. what does that mean?" The female said confused.
'They're looking for me?' Luna thought to herself.
"Maybe, it's a statue? Or some graffiti art?...Men why could Reaper's be more specific with this missions." The male voice sigh.
Luna walked over the the edge of the platform to see who was looking for her. The two looked like siblings.
The male was pale skin with blond mane wearing a white t-shirt, red sneakers, light brown short pants, a hat and chain neck with both of them having skulls. While other was similar to her brother but was wearing a bell around her neck. She wear a pinkish red shirt the seem slightly too big for her, on her shirt was a heart shaped skull with a cross of bones below it. She had white short pants and yellow black shoes. She also wear a black hat with a white skull pin on it.
"Hope, Neku and Shiki fairing better." The young girl said, sighing.
The two walked towards a hallway which possibly is the exit. Luna watched as they were about to leave till a sound of a bird screeching. Luna's ears twitched as the screeching was hear all around the complex. Even the two foals seem to stop and look around to where the sound was coming from. Luna looked around too for the bird, thinking it might be a large Nightmare but she was about to jump down from the ledge there was a 'thump' sound before a the same screeching from behind her. Luna turned to be greeted by a large bird thing.
It looked at her before Midnight growled at it, the bird growled back. Luna spread her wings and give a few flaps as a warning, hoping this bird follows this warning but unfortunately it just screech while rushing towards her. Midnight jumped in front of Luna before rushing towards to. Luna rushed forward to stop Midnight but he was to fast. Midnight and the bird headbutted each other but the bird seems to have done a better as Midnight was thrown back. Luna quickly caught him as he flow back towards her. Luna sigh in relief as Midnight wasn't badly hurt through his eyes were swirling.
'Odd?' she thought to herself before remembering what was coming at her, Looking up she was quickly face to face with the bird that now headbutted her causing her to fall off the platform she was on and on to the ground floor. Luna's eyes closed themselves as she hit the ground.
Luna landed on her back while still holding Midnight. Luna opened her eyes to look up as the bird up down to stomp on her but Luna quickly rolled out of the way. Getting up, Midnight jumped out of her grip and tried to bite the bird. The bird yelped in surprise as Midnight bite the bird's leg. The bird tried to get him off but was suddenly hit by a broad with wheels on it's sides. The bird yelped in pain as it was toss away from them. Midnight let go of the bird as it was thrown back. The bird got up and stared at the one that attacked him. Luna stared at the colt before the same filly came up next to her.
"Are you alright?" she asked her. Luna got up from the ground before looking at the filly.
"I'm alright, young one." Luna said to her. The filly looked at Luna strangely.
"I'm..fine?" She said noticing that Luna was a blue pegasus.
"Save the talk for later, yo. Time to take care of these Carakillers." The colt said to them. Luna and the filly ready themselves as more of those birds appeared. Midnight bark at the in coming Nightmares, about six more appeared. They circled the four as they waited to strike.
"Ready to rumble Rhyme." The colt said to his sister as he stared at Nightmares.
"Ready Beat." Rhyme told him.
'Rhyme and Beat....I wonder if their parents' names are Jazz and Metal.' Luna giggled to herself.
The Carakillers circled them, growling ready to pounce at any second.
"Ready for a beatdown!" Beat yelled as the Carakillers came at them.
Spike soon carried by Yuffie to a house nearby the market area. As she did Yuffie could swear she felt like she was being watched. Looking up at the roof tops scanning for any sign of danger after a second or so she shrugged and continued. As she walked in, she was greeted by the old wizard.
"Oh, Hello Yuffie." The wizard said to her.
"Sup, Merlin." She said as she place the unconscious dragon on the bed. Merlin raised a brow when noticing the dragon.
"May I ask what with the dragon?" He asked her examining the fiery beast.
"We have no idea, he just showed up and then we fought some heartless." Yuffie said before turning to sit and wait for the dragon to wake up. Spike mourned abit.
"Where am I?" Spike asked himself as he drifted slowly down the dark abyss.
"In your mind, where else?" Said a voice though it sounded very familiar, and he hated it.
"Oh it's you? What do you what Greed?" Spike asked his darker self.
"Really? You could just give me a proper name." Greed asked him. If Spike was awake he would have rolled his eyes.
"Like what? Dark Spike? Shadow Spike? Come on those are too stereotypical. I think Greed works best for you as you are my Dragon nature." Spike said to his other.
"Still a proper name is need." Greed replied to Spike.
"I'll come up with one in time." Spike said to it. Slowly floating down, Spike finally landed on some solid ground or at least what he thinks was ground. He looked around but only seeing nothing.
"What is this place?" Spike asked himself.
As he takes a step on the flat surface, the dark flat surface began to fade away. Spike covered his eyes as the floor light up brightly. After a second, he lowered his arms and was greeted by doves flying around him. The doves flew from under him uncover an image in such Spike wasn't looking at. Spike watched as the doves flew around him, after the last dove join the dole. Spike watched as dole of doves flow of into the abyss leaving only feathers. It was an odd and strange.
Spike looked down as the ground, light was emitting from under him. Spike looked down and was greeted by image himself. What was shown was him, cheering someone.
"So much to do," Spoke a genderless voice. Spike looked around alertly.
"So little time...." The voice once again spoke. Spike looked up as the only source of light.
"Take you time." The voice said to him.
"Don't be afraid." It said again. Spike looked at each weapon before waiting for the voice to gave any direction.
"Now, step forward. Can you do it?" It asked. Spike took a few steps forwards.
"True power sleeps within you." It told him. As a three some pillars appears with three weapons. A sword, a shield, and a staff.
"If you give it form..." It told him. Spike looked at each weapon wondering what propose they have.
"It will give you strength." It spoke again. Spike looked as the light above before choosing his preferred weapon which was a sword.
"The power of the warrior. Invincible courage: the will to stand against anything.. A sword ofterrible destruction." It told him.
"It's this the power you seek?" The voice asked, Spike nodded but not sure why.
Your path has been set." It said to him.
"Now, what will you give up an exchange?" It asked as Spike while he looked towards the remaining weapons. Spike walked over to the Shield, as he picked it up the voice spoke to him.
"The power of the guardian. Kindness to aid friends. A shield to repel all." It told him. Spike lets go of the shield and walks over to the staff, picking it up the voice spoke once again.
"The power of the mystic. Inner strength is spirit: power the eye cannot see. A staff of wonder and ruin." It told him.
"You give up this power?" It asked him. Spike thought for a second before fully give up on magic.
"Never really was a magic user like mother was." Spike said to himself. The staff disappeared before his eyes.
"You chosen the power of awarrior." It told him. Spike walked away to the center, as he did a glass stairwell appeared leading up to another pillar. Before Spike could go on, several strange white creature appeared literally out of thin out.
It seems to dress in a baggy, light grey jumpsuit with dark grey legs. Its lower legs fan outward like the lower half of the odd symbol, and its feet are nearly featureless, black points. Its arms are very long, light grey, and its hands are flat and teardrop-shaped. It's grey head also has a teardrop shape, albeit one that curves to its right.
"What the hay are you guys?" Spike asked to himself. The creatures looked at him before jumping into a ball and disappearing. Confused, Spike was about to continued but was strike from above by multiple spears causing him to be thrown back. Falling on his back, Spike looked up at what hit him and was greeted by those same white creatures whom was standing there spinning in the shape of plates like they were laughing. Getting up, Spike ready himself before they could attack him. Placing his hand in front, as he tries to summon his weapon. The white creatures looked at him confused before seeing a green and black fire, it spin in front of his hand forming a keyblade. Moving back the creature readied themselves.
"Let's see what you got." Spike rushing at them. Spike down slashed at one before breathing fire at it. It burst to dust of light similar to the 'Heartless' when defected. The other creature watch their friend fade before their eyes or lack of eyes. Four of them then turned a ball and faded while two of them turned to swords. One of the swords thrust itself at Spike, Spike dodged to side but only to be hit from above by the four spears then hit again by the other sword.
"You guys seem a smarter than you look." Spike said to them. The creature turned back to their normal form before moving back. Spike figured they were going to do something; so he shot a fireball at them before rushing straight at them. The fireball exploded in front of the creature, they were thrown back landing on their back. Getting up, they were then slashed at by Spike. They all too turned to dust of light. Spike smirked as they faded to nothing.
"Great job, Spike." Said a feminine voice. Spike looked around for the new voice.
"Who said that?" Spike asked.
"Continue up the floating stairs, Spike." The voice told him. Spike followed what it told him to do. As he did he felt in his pockets. Continuing up as he pulled it out. It was a grey colored crescent moon shape object, it was about the size of his hand.
"Did I get this from those things?" Spike asked himself before sniffing it, it had an odd smell to it. Wondering how it tastes, he toss it into his mouth as he got to the last stair and onto the pillar. The moment Spike chewed and swallowed, he began to cough and pound his chest as the gem went down. Unnoticed to him, new white creature appeared around him. They were about to attack him but noticed his coughing fit, they stared at him then at each other confused. Some of them shrugged not sure what to do at this moment, so they agreed to wait for him to stop. After what felt like an hour but really was a few minutes; Spike finally was to stop coughing.
"Okay, note to self never eat that one or other grey colored gems or whatever that was again." Spike said to himself as he stared at the floor. Looking up, he was greeted by six different white things but what made him nearly turned his head in confusing was that they were ball like floating in the air slowly. Spike got close it and lightly poked it. In a instead, the ball open to a...thing? Spike got a good look at them for how they look.
They have a thin, sinuous body that seem to be capable of a dumbfounding feats of flexibility. It has a large, cylindrical head with a flat top that is emblazoned with the strange symbol. Its body seems to be covered in a light grey jumpsuit, and its "mouth" is actually a zipper that undoes itself to reveal its actual, grey, sharp-toothed mouth underneath. It appears to be fairly muscular, though its arms and legs are very thin. The sides of its body are lined by a black line, which pulses weakly with light. Its feet and hands are pointed and lack digits, and its hands each sport two black bands around them.
"Ah? Hello? What are you-" Spike was interrupted as one of them quickly attacked him by headbutting. Spike was dazed abit before being jabbed in the chest. Shaking the daze off, Spike quickly got into a fight stance.
"Okay, should have guess you were enemies." Spike said before blowing fire at them. They dodged it like they were in the wind, they in turn moved closed to him before one of them headbutted him. Spike stepped back shaking the daze out of him. Spike then slashed at the one whom hit him before doing his reversal move and got behind it. The creature stood on it's hands with it's legs on its head. It looked around for Spike but could see him till one got smacked across the head and before any of the others could think; a ball of fire blasted about four of them to dust. Spike and the reminding one stared before it jumped into a portal above it before it reappeared in front of him. Spike jumped back as it jabbed it's hands, Spike jumped back before tossing his blade at it. The blade slashed the creature chest before coming back and hit it's from behind. It turned to dust like the others leaving a similar gem behind.
Spike looked at it before looking through his pocket and found three others. Spike also pulled out the grey crescent moon gem, and saw that they looked the same but the other was moonlight white. Spike put them back in his pocket except for one. Spike thought about eating but feared it would end up the same from before.
"Do I really want to know?" Spike ask himself before tossing it in his mouth and swallowed it.
Spike began to cough again as he pounding his chest. It tasted like dust and dirt. Spike looked up from the floor, stairs leading up to another pillar. The stairway was very long and the pillar was far. Sighing, Spike walked over to the stairs,before going up. As he did, the voice from before began to speak to him.
"Hey Spike, Be careful. There's a huge enemy coming up. " It told him, Spike stopped before going further.
"Hey....who said that?" Spike asked out loud.
"I did." It said to him. Spike looked around, trying to find the source of the voice.
"On your right hand or claw I guess." IT said to him. Spike looked down at his blade.
"Did you just...talk?" Spike said to it.
"Of course I can talk. We keyblade do have a mind of our own." IT told him. Spike looked at it before bring up before him.
"So that was you from before?" Spike asked it.
"Yes. That was me, and might I add why you were eating synthesis materials?" It told him. Spike raised a brow at it.
"Synthesis materials? So that's what the gem was." He said to it.
"Why would you even trying to eat it?" It asked.
"Well I'm a dragon and dragon eat gems." Spike said to his weapon.
"That the first time I've ever heard of a dragon eating something other than meat." It said to Spike in interest.
"Well gems are like candy to us, and from birth we eat gems to feed our hungry till we have the need to eat meat." Spike explain.
"That's nice to know but synthesis material are used for making magical items or synthesis items." It explained to him.
"Synthesis items? What are they? And why are synthesis materials needed." Spike asked it. Spike thought of asking it's name.
"They are use for helping in battle as the Synthesis items help in deducing elemental attack or boosting your attacks." It told him. Spike never really knew that or even heard of items that can boost or deduced attacks or magic in real life.
"Hey...ah..keyblade. What's your name, since you know my name." Spike said to his blade.
"In time since I was made, I was given two names either one is preferred. Rejection of Fate or Fate Rebellion." His blade told him.
"They seem long so I'll call you Fate for short." Spike said to Fate. Fate hummed to itself at the thought.
"I like it. Also Spike, you better start moving to it's going to be a long time to get to the pillar. Fate told him. Spike lowed his blade to look at the far pillar. Spike groaned at the distance.
"Better get going than just standing here. We can talk on the way there." Fate told him. Spike continued onward.
"So~ Care to tell me what is a keyblade for?" Spike asked Fate.
" We are used battle between Darkness and Light." Fate said to him.
"How are you created?" Spike said.

"The original χ-blade's existence was intimately linked with the existence of Kingdom Hearts, and so it was destroyed along with Kingdom Hearts in the great Keyblade War. When the world was whole before the war, Kingdom Hearts gave light to the world. However, it remained out of mankind's reach, as it was protected by its counterpart, the χ-blade. Eventually, many came to desire the light, and their greed and jealousy introduced darkness into the World. In order to conquer the light of Kingdom Hearts, beings forged the first Keyblades in the image of the χ-blade, and they clashed with each other in a great Keyblade War that involved those who served the light, those who served the darkness, those who sought balance, and those who simply sought power. The conflict embroiled even those who did not desire Kingdom Hearts and took the lives of thousands; it also extinguished the light from the world and trapped Kingdom Hearts in the deepest darkness. The final site of the Keyblade War became the barren, the Keyblade Graveyard, littered with ancient Keyblades. " Fate explain to Spike.
"So if the true world was shattered then how are we still here?" Spike asked Fate.
"Because light remained in the hearts of children, it was able to draw the fragments of the World back together, creating several separate worlds. The remaining Keyblade wielders decided to use the Keyblade in order to protect what was left of the Realm of Light. They primarily settled in worlds within the Realm Between, Land of Departure place (where reminding key welders train), where the Realm of Light bordered the Realm of Darkness. Memories of the Keyblade War survived in various legends, which disputed whether the Keyblade was a weapon meant to bring salvation or destruction." Fate answered. Spike was getting closer to the next pillar.
"Anything else?" Fate asked.
"Are there different types?" Spike asked Fate.
"There are two types of keyblades. These from the Realm of Light and those from the Realm of Darkness." Fate told him.
"Is there a differs?" Spike asked.
"Yes. Those from the Realm of Darkness are more evil looking with two eye of darkness. One on the keychain, and one on the teeth of the blade." Fate told him.
"What are the heartless?" Spike asked his blade.
"Heartless are beings of darkness that manifest in two forms, "Pureblood" and "Emblem". While most Heartless are, in fact, manifested hearts, they behave entirely devoid of emotion, and thus were named "Heartless". Being born from darkness, they are mindless and act on instinct, their only goal is to find hearts, and consume them to create more Heartless. But what they desire above all are the hearts of worlds, and thus they enter worlds in search of the way into the hearts of the world's. When they consume these colossal hearts, the remains of the world fall into the Realm of Darkness.
Two types of Heartless possess several key characteristics that define them as a Heartless. Most Heartless are created when the darkness that resides in a being's heart consumes him or her, thus giving the darkness shape and form.
Pureblood Heartless are natural Heartless, born from the darkness in people's hearts. They are ink-black in color, with yellow beady eyes. They are more common in places that are close to or saturated in darkness. Upon their destruction, they simply disappear in puffs of darkness, without a heart leaving its body.
Emblem Heartless, on the other hand, were originally created from machines that reproduce the process of a heart being consumed by darkness. Afterward, stolen hearts can become Emblems. They are more common on the worlds within the Realm of Light, and usually mimic the shape of creatures or objects within that world.
"So they make themselves look normal in the world their in." Spike said.
"Correct." Fate told them.
"So what does the keyblade have to do with them?"
Heartless seek out the users of the Keyblade, since the Keyblade holds the power to lock and unlock hearts. In order to stop the users of the Keyblades, the Heartless use the Keyblade itself as a homing beacon (not sure how), but ultimately desire to take the heart that commands it. Because of this, Keyblade wielders are under constant attack.
The strength of a Heartless is proportional to the depth of the darkness from which it was born. The darker the heart forming a Heartless, Emblem or Pureblood, the more powerful and more monstrous the resulting being will be. This is a contrast to Nobodies, which determine rank according to the strength of the heart, and whose appearances become more human as they increase in power.
Furthermore, as beings of elemental darkness, the Heartless are able to take possession of other beings or even inanimate objects, granting them immense dark power and often reshaping their very forms to suit their purpose. The Heartless, being mindless, usually have no master to direct their actions and instead act on the instinct to gather more hearts. However, there are some higher beings who can command them. Heartless will obey those with an affinity for darkness and a strong will. If many people attempt to control them, the Heartless will side with whomever is most powerful.
Those with hearts,endanger themselves however, as the Heartless are attracted to their hearts and if they show weakness, the Heartless will not think twice of consuming their hearts. On the other hand, higher ranking Heartless, can fully command other Heartless without endangering themselves." Fate told him. (Explanation over)
"Wow. Keyblade wielder must how it rough." Spike said to it.
"Lucky for you that now you one of them." It told him. Spike stopped in front of the pillar.
"Dang it." Spike said to himself.
As he did Spike encounter both of the white creatures, they quickly dashed at him. Spike shot a huge fireball at them, the fireball exploded turning them to dust while giving Spike more of those gems things. Spike got to the pillar without any trouble, as he did Spike was greeted with an empty pillar. The pillar itself was Twilight and her friends in their rainbow power form.
"Why do they look like that?" Fate asked Spike.
"The Rainbow Power gave him that." Spike answered to Fate.
"I feel as though getting bigger hair is very dumb and makes them look weird and they look like a rip-off of something." Fate said to him.
"That's what I thinking when I saw them like that." Spike told to Fate.
"Well I guess beggar can't choosers. At least you're in it." Fate said to him. Spike looked down at the pillar's image.
"I guess." Spike said smiled. As Spike walked to the middle of the pillar, and the voice came speak again.
"The closer you get to the light." It said as a shadow began to loom over Spike. Spike slowly turned and was greeted by a dragon or what looks light a dragon.
The dragon's arms and legs had what seems to be spikes as it's wings looked the same. It's body was white and looked like those thing from before. It had two mouths one on it's head and one on it's chest. A symbol like the others was on it's head.
"The greater your shadow becomes." The voice told him. Spike back up as the 'dragon' stood up.
"Fate?" Spike called as he back away from the dragon. The dragon slowly raised it's claw.
"Yes?" his blade replied. The claw started to glow in a ghostly white color
"What it this?" Spike asked as the dragon strike the ground with it's claw causing hundreds of strange black and white thorns at Spike. Spike dodged the thorns but when he did more thorns come out of the thorns that Spike dodged from.
"Once a Heartless is formed, a Nobody appears." Fate said to him explaining what is a 'Nobody'.
"All Nobodies vanish from the Realm of Light upon their creation at the loss of a heart and the creation of a Heartless. They are born in a world in-between the Realms of Light and Darkness. However, because of this and their lack of hearts, they are shunned by both Light and Darkness, and do not truly exist.
When a heart is taken and the being becomes a heartless, this process will occasionally also form Nobodies, which are born from the body and soul left behind when the heart is lost.
Kinda sad when they aren't trying to take your heart." Fate said to Spike. Spike quickly jumped at the dragon tried to breath thorns things from it's chest.
"They do what now?" Spike as he dodge another attack from the Nobody 'dragon'.
"Like the Heartless, they steal hearts from the Heartless are the still living. Because of their missing hearts, Nobodies can not express or feel emotions by every credible source. Some humanoid Nobodies pretend to possess emotions, fooling others as well as themselves. Despite their lack of emotions, Nobodies are able to think for themselves and attack with definite planning. As opposed to the Heartless, which are mindless and function on pure animal instinct. Nobodies also seem to be able to experience physical sensations, such as pain, as they negatively react to taking damage." Fate told him.
'Great, so Heartless don't feel pain but Nobodies do. That's not gotta harden the fact that I fighting them.' Spike thought as he shot fireball from his mouth at the Dragon. The Dragon roared as its head caught on fire, it tried to shake it's head to extinguish the fire.
"When defeated, Nobodies are dragged into darkness; however, when a person's Heartless and Nobody both are defeated, that person is restored to their original, complete form, with their memories from their time as a Nobody intact,.....maybe." Fate told him.
"I know I asked for an explanation but CAN you tell me anything that can help me right now." Spike asked it. Fate was silent for a few seconds before answering.
"Attack, dodge, use magic, and don't die.*" his blade told him happily. Spike groaned before dodging another claw attack. Spike jumped on top of it's claw before stabbing it. The dragon nobody roared in pain as the blade stabbed it; the dragon brought it's claw to it's face to bite Spike but Spike jumped on top of it's as it bite it's own claw.
"Thunder!" Spike call out before jumping off. The moment Spike jumped off, a flash of lighting landing on the head shocking the whole body. It fell over stunned from electrician leaving its chest open. Spike quickly made his way over to the chest...mouth...thing.
"Guess, this is it's weak point." Spike told himself before striking it with Fate before casting thunder then blow fire before attack the mouth...chest again.
After a minute the mouth opened shooting thorns out of it. Spike was taken surprise by as the mouth open but wasn't quick enough to dodge the thorns. Spike was thrown back as the thorns rushed out of the mouth. The thorns phased though Spike while it also thrown Spike away from the dragon. Spike felt the pain shot through his body.
"Hey Spike, you can heal yourself." Fate told him. Spike raised his blade up above his head as the dragon got back up.
Spike thought of healing himself as he pointed his blade above him. His body suddenly glowed and sparkled green. He felt all his wounds healed but felt his mana completely empty.
"Forgot to mention. Healing spells may drain all of your magic." Fate told him. The dragon got up by twisting it's body like water, it stand up on it's legs. It stared at him before pulling it's claw back and swing it at him. The claw stretched itself before doing the same with its other claw. Spike jumped over its claw attacks but didn't expected a tail whip which knocked Spike to the side. Thorns once again came out of nowhere and attacked Spike; Spike jumped out of the way but was light cut of the leg. Spike landed wincing out the slight pain.
"Oh crap baskets." Spike said to himself as a shadow looming over him. Before he could dodge, it's claw crushed Spike under it. It then stomped on him multiple time, the floor began to creak at the stomping before it stop. It removed it's foot from the key wielder, Spike lay there nearly conscious.
"Hey Spike, I know you dying and all but I think you should get up." Fate said to him, Spike groaned in response. Fate glowed in a faint light before the light coursed through Spike. Spike's wounds healed, as soon as he was healed he got into a fighting stance. The Nobody dragon flapped it's wings trying to blow Spike off the pillar. Spike quickly raised his blade, hoping to call in same magic.
"Thunder!" Spike called out. Seconds later, a clap of lightning strike the dragon nobody. The nobody fell forward before Spike slashed the left side of it's face making to fall off the pillar.
Spike was about to pat himself on the back for his victory, but the pillar began to shake. Spike stabbed his blade into the glass floor. The pillar began to tilt itself, which soon made Spike seem upside down to whom watching. Spike looked up to see the dragon changing it's attack. Fate began to slowly fallout of it's place. Spike soon was falling straight towards to dragon; the dragon thrust forward towards Spike. Spike felt time itself slow down as he got closer to the dragon's attack which was a ball of massive energy. As Spike got closer, he tried to think of something.
"Come on Spike! Think of something or you're going to vanish." Spike told himself as he gets closer to the ball of doom. As he tried to remember something to help but came up.
But then Spike remembered when Twilight throw a magical ball at Tirek. He quickly pulling his blade behind him and tossed it as the ball. As Fate headed towards the ball; Spike began to rethink of this.
"Wait, if it's hits won't it-" Spike didn't finish as a ball burst slightly knocking him and the Nobody out. Spike fell chest first into the glass floor before the Nobody did. As Spike got up, Fate came down and stabbed the glass floor.
"Time to end this." Spike said as he grabbed Fate. Suddenly Spike's body glowed in a blue aura filling his with a burst of energy. Without a second to think, he slashed as the head multiple times till it got back up. It then sent out more of those thorn things at Spike but he quickly avoided them and reversal around till he got close enough to hit the Nobody in the chest-mouth. It on it's mouth ready to shot out more thorns till Spike shot a fire into the mouth. It quickly closed before puff of smoke escape from cracks in its maw. Spike landed down softly as more smoke came out from the head, causing it to fall forward. Spike was braced himself as the dragon fall on him but instead of a heavy body land on him; dust covered the whole pillar. Spike was consumed by it, trying to wave of the dust but it was too thick to even see.
"Darn it, I can't see." Spike said to himself.
"Have you tried opening your eyes?" Fate said to him.
"Their already open." Spike replied. Spike stopped trying to push away the dust seeing as it was to no avail to continued. Spike laid there for a few moments to catch his breath while wondering in his mind.
"How did I get in this mess." Spike asked himself before pure light emitted from the necklace. Looking down at it; the light began to shine brighter by the seconds.
The light then pushed the darkness out of the way, when the light dimmed only a door shape like a horseshoe (similar to the Crystal Mirror; when he and Twilight went to the human world) stood in the middle of the pillar. Spike got up from the floor and walked over to the horseshoe but right in front of it. In the mirror was Spike's reflection; Spike got a good look at himself. Not much different than his clothes being a different color: Purple, Black, and Green.
"]Change in outfit? Suit you well." Fate said to Spike. Spike looked to himself before asking himself.
"What do I do now?" He asked himself.
"Only move forward and never look back. Fate has gifted you a chance to change your role in life, either you take it with happiness or like most people complain till something terrible happen that tells you to deal with it. Either way, this is your life now." Fate blankly told him.
"Well I guess I have no chance. Nothing in life with Twilight and the others make sense might as well take it as it may." Spike said shrugging while walking into the horseshoe.
The light within the horseshoe fainted after Spike walked through it.
"What?" Discord asked confused. He looked at them confused before snapping his fingers and disappeared before reappearing beside Twilight.
"Oh come on Twilight, best buddy, do leave me hanging." A small Discord said hanging from a strain of Twilight's mane. Twilight jumped as she saw him in front of her. Her yelp cause everypony to snap out on their thoughts.
"Seriously? What's going on?" He asked them.
"We just meet Sombra and Nightmare Moon." Twilight told him. Discord teleported off of Twilight's shoulder in reappeared right in front of them.
"Oh, Smokey eyes and Moony is back? That's not so surprising really. Is Triek coming back too?" Discord said while floating in the air in the sitting. Discord seen to be calm very about this.
"Why are you so calm about this? Shouldn't you be equal as worried as us?" Twilight asked him. Discord looked at her before rubbing his chin.
"Well I would be but why would I if you and your friends can saved the day with the power of friendship, and if things goes wrong then use the rainbow power you got." He said to them calmly. While that was true, Celestia know better than that. The elements of harmony and the rainbow power are only strong against threats that are from Equestria or in their world, beside Twilight and her friends haven't meet another worldly beings.
"That won't work." Celestia aloud gaining the attention of the group.
"What do you mean, Tia? The elements are the most powerful items in our world." Discord questioned.
"Yes, in OUR world but outside of that, they're just gems." Celestia said to him. Twilight's ear twitched a bit.
"What do you mean by 'our' world? Are there more than ours?" Applejack asked.
"Correct, there are over a 100 other worlds." Celestia answered. Twilight and her friends had a surprised look.
"How do you know that? Or even how is that possible, Princess?" Twilight asked her with a sense of disbelief.
"Yeah, if there's more worlds out there then why haven't any pony found them." Rainbow dash said while crossing her arms.
"There's a barrier keeping us apart from them." Celestia told them.
"Wait there's a barrier around our world? Why?" Pinkie asked her.
"Because our world is different than others. While me and Luna can control the movement of the sun and moon, other worlds don't. The magical force in our world is a lot stronger than others." Celestia told them. All of there mouths dropped except for Discord as he was eating a bowl of popcorn in the shape of animals.
"Ya mean other worlds don't have somepony controlling the sun and moon? I find that hard to believe." Applejack said, getting some agreement.
"Yeah, what next your going to say that the weather controls itself, nature grow on it's own, and the animals take care on their own." Rainbow Dash added jokingly.
"Why yes they do." Celestia responded smiling. Both Rainbow Dash's and Applejack's mouths dropped. Twilight was writing down this information, Rarity had a shocked look, Pinkie was smiling from ear to ear.
"When you think about it, it makes sense." Fluttershy said getting odd looks from her friends.
"What do you mean by that, shy?" Dash asked her.
"Well dragons don't control their weather." She told them.
"Well yeah, their too lazy and would whether sleep and gather gems." Dash told her.
"But don't the griffins and Zebra's do the same? I mean they don't control the nature nor the weather, and we have traveled to places that have been doing well without ponies control over them. It's that why Zecora lives in the Everfree, right?" Fluttershy stated. Before any of them could add, Celestia spoke.
"Fluttershy, you are very corrected. Many places don't have control of their weather nor their nature." Celestia smiled.
"So back on topic, what are this other worlds like? I mean if you have been there." Twilight asked her former teacher.
"To be honest, I don't know. From what I was told they can be anything. From a world where sea creatures rule to a world controlled by machines. Some can be where their technology is far more advance than us to being more primitive. There no way of telling what the world could look like." Celestia finished. Everybody (except for Discord) looked at her in awe. Twilight still wrote down what Celestia have said but then a thought came to mind.
"If that's true then why haven't you told us this or inform of everypony about this?" Twilight asked her, Celestia looked at her before answering.
"I promised that I will never inform those without reason. Plus our world was closed off to others until now." Celestia told them.
"But what reason do you have for not telling anypony?" Pinkie asked her.
"Because if somepony or something get that information than they will try to leave our world and into another. There is no telling how powerful someone can be if the leave and return. The why 'The Gates' were formed." Celestia told them with a stern look.
"The Gates? What are those?" Sweetie asked her nicely.
"The Gates are barriers that keeps each world safe. Worlds were once surrounded by barriers to prevent outside interference, making it impossible for different worlds to have contact. However, the arrival of the Heartless caused these barriers between the worlds to crumble and disappear, and for some worlds were consumed by the eldritch horde. The heartless travel though space or The Ocean Between also known as the "ocean of stars' a vast space between the worlds" Celestia respond to Sweetie. Twilight and the others looked at each other before looking back at her.
"Heartless? What are they?" Asked Applebloom. Celestia then explained what are Heartless and what they intentions are.
"So if that's true then why haven't we seen them?" Scootaloo asked her.
"Because our world had a special barrier place on it." Celestia told them while looking out the a window.
"How are we specials? Ain't we like the others?" Twilight asked.
"It's because our world's boost the magic greatly of those outside our world." Discord told her while he floated upside down before righting himself.
"Okay but why? Ain't their magic is the same as ours?" Twilight continued.
"Yes and No. Yes, as other worlds have the same spells as us but No, as we use our magic in a more controlled and peaceful while their are more for combat and killing." Celestia explained getting a few gasp.
"Killing, They kill each other. Why?" Asked Sweetie as she hold her sister's hand for confront. Applejack pulled Applebloom closer to calm shock and fear. Rainbow Dash was about to hug Scootaloo but Scoots nudged her while putting up a brave face.
"Because that's how their world works, and have no judgement on them. We have our own dark history that are hidden or forgotten in time." Celestia with a nearly sad tone as if remembering something she wished to forget.
"So then what about that phase Sweetie said 'the door to our world is opened.'?" Twilight asked her wanting to change the topic.
"Yeah, what's the big deal? If it's a door than why not close it? Can't be that hard, right?" Rainbow said getting some agreements but before Celestia could answer Discord cut in.
"It's a lot harder than you think. In order for protection of 'The heart of our world' the door is hidden and only appear once found by someone strong or by a keywielder after defecting whatever is causing the heartless to appear. The key is obviously the Keyblade but the door is something special to that World." Discord told them.
"He's right. The door to worlds protect the world's heart. These doors can be anything from a person to something simple like leaves or books." Celestia added.
"So how do you found these doors? If our world is endanger than we best look for it, right girls." Pinkie pie said.
"Thats the reason why they hid themselves. They are protect not only themselves but all those in that world. If they were found then the heartless would have an easier time founding it." Celestia explained to them. Twilight looked at her before a though came to mind.
'Why haven't asked this before?' Twilight though to herself.
"Why was Spike given a Keyblade? He didn't even wanted to be one in the beginning." Twilight asked getting the topic on the others minds.
"Yeah, we were training to be able summon our own even made fake ones to get the idea of how they feel. So why did he get one and not us? We saved Equestria three times while he saved The Crystal Empire once." Dash said to the sun princess. Celestia looked at them before giving a small smirk.
"Well, you'll find they're picky about their owners." She said to them. They looked at each other confused before looking back at her.
"What do ya mean 'they are very picky about their owners.'? Its it something we need to do to gain one?" Applejack asked the princess.
"No, Applejack. You go through Bequeathing to grin a chance to have one. A Bequeathing ceremony or Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony may be either intentional or accidental. To pass down the Keyblade intentionally, a Keyblade master must choose a successor. All the master must do is test the strength of the one they have chosen by allowing him or her to hold their Keyblade. While there are many qualities a Keyblade wielder must have in order to harness the Keyblade's power, the main requirement is for one to have an exceptionally strong heart. You all have shown to have very strong hearts but,"
"But what? If we have strong hearts then can't we just summoned it on our own?" Dash said interrupting the princess.
"Yes but you see, If the Keyblade accepts the inheritor selected, that person will become able to summon their own Keyblade whenever attempted. All the master must do is test the strength of the one they have chosen by allowing him or her to hold their Keyblade. If the Keyblade also approves of the heir, it will stay in the heir's hand and not automatically return to the master." Celestia said to them.
"That all? Sounds easy." Dash beam a smile.
"Dash, were you listing? The Master can choose an heir but the final decision is up to the keyblade." Twilight reminded her winged friend.
"Yeah, once we find a Keyblade master and they do the Ceremony thing, and the moment the keyblade sees the awesomeness in us. They have to make us wielders." Dash said proudly while puffing out her chest.
"Dash, as much as I would like to say you deserve of keyblade. It the master AND the keyblade itself who decides, mainly the keyblade." Said Celestia.
"Wait, so ya saying that the keyblade is alive?" Appleajack asked her surprised by the thought of the keyblade having a mind of it's own.
"In a way but the key rarely shows it. It would only speak its name then never speak again though it may point out what you have to do if you're in trouble." Celestia told them.
"So if they have a mind of their own then why would they not say anything to their master, you highness?" Rarity asked but Celestia just shrugged.
"I don't know. It maybe that they trust their master's actions." Celestia guessed. Before any of them could ask another question, a unicorn and earth pony guard rushed in, looking panicked.
"Princess Celestia, there are strange creatures attacking!" The unicorn nearly yelled in panic. Celestia looked shocked before rushing towards the balcony. The others followed but Discord stayed put.
"Celestia, what's happeni-" Twilight was about to ask as she neared the balcony but when she stepped out the castle she was greeted by ponyville's residents panicked screams. They watched as strange monsters attack houses or guards.
"What in the heck are they?!?" Applejack yelled. Celestia looked at the creatures beck realized what they were.
"Those are the Heartless. Creatures of darkness." Celestia informed them.
"Heartless? Why are they-"
"No time to explain, we need to stop them." Celestia said interrupting Twilight.
"Yeah! Let's show them why you don't mess with Ponies." Dash said excitedly before flying off.
"Dash! Wait we need to think up a plan!" Twilight yelled as her friend flew off but was to late as Dash was gone.
"Don't worry Twilight, she be fine. Now all of you go in help in anyway you can." She told them before looking towards the cutie mark crusaders.
"You three and Fluttershy will stay here were it's safe and please check on my sister." She told them before teleporting with the four.
"Well I guess I could help in some way. See we later Shy." Discord said before disappearing. The four looked at the spot where Discord just was before Sweetie spoke.
"So what now? Do we just go and wait for Princess Luna to wake up?" Sweetie asked her friends.
"Guess so." Applebloom guessed.
"Stay close, alright." Fluttershy told them as they hurried to Luna's room.
Unknown to them, they were being watched.
"Oh this going to be fun to watch." Said the one eyed watcher.
(Wast side of ponyville)
Rainbow Dash was flying around while grabbing ponies and taking them to Twilight's castle but as she searched for more ponies, a thin yellow laser was shot at her, lucky she dodged out of the way. Dash looked to where the laser came from and was greeted by bat-like creatures.
(Bit Sniper)
There was four of them flying around her. They looked weird and kind of silly.
"You seem so threatening up close." Dash said to them jokingly. The bats looked at her before stopping in place and shot a laser at her. Dash dodged out of the way before another laser was shot at her. The bats continued to shoot her but she was too fast from them. Dash gave them a cocky smile as she dodged their lasers.
"Come on, A blind unicorn can aim better." Dash mocked them. The bats didn't handle that well as they started to shot more at her. Dash continued to dodge while mocking them.
Unbeknownst to her, was a flying Soldier coming at her. The soldier dashed at her as she dodged the laser. Rainbow Dash was about to dodge another laser but was throw down by the soldier. Dash grunted as the heartless attacked her.
(Air Soldier)
The heartless held her in its grip as the bat like heartless charged their laser. Dash tried to get out of the heartless's grip but it was holding her tightly. It was strong for something half her height, though it seems to not need to flap it's wing to stay still. Dash trying to get out of its grip but to no avail so she decided to do a back flip as the bat heartless shot their laser. Just as she back flipped and was upside down with air soldier getting hit by the laser. The air soldier lost its gripped on Dash and turned to the bit snipers, it pointed at them angrily. The bit snipers panicked and took off while the air soldier chased after one of them.
"Okay, they are slightly more threatening than they seem." Dash said to herself before her ear twitched hear a loud explosion. Rainbow Dash turned to the sound and show a large smoke cloud.
"What's that all about?" Dash asked herself as she flew towards the smoke. As Dash neared the smoke cloud, she could see something moving.
"What it's that?" She asked herself
"WIND!!" Yelled an echo feminine voice. Suddenly a gust of wind swirled around the smoke making it fade away. In the clearing was the former changeling queen fighting some small shadow heartless.
"Firaga Burst!!" Chrysalis yelled as she cast a fire spell from her rose keyblade. A large ball of fire appeared before she hit it and send towards one of the heartless. It then soared up above, a few feet in the air before rain down smaller balls of fire. The attack took out all the heartless she was fight which from Dash's point of view was about ten.
"Wait hold up!? That not her normal looking keyblade!" Dash nearly yelled before landing a few feet away behind Chrysalis. Dash rushed towards her but was almost hit by her keyblade. Dash was able to get a good look at it.
"Rainbow Dash? What are you doing here? I could have hurt you." Chrysalis said with concern.
"That beside the point, since when were you an actually key wielder?" Dash asked her. Chrysalis looked at her and shrugged.
"Since I was young." She responded.
"So why haven't you said anything about this?" Dash asked while pointing at her blade.
"Never really wanted to tell you, so I just made illusion to make it look different. Also duck." Chrysalis told her before aiming her blade at Dash. Dash moved to the left as Chrysalis cast Blizzaga. The few heartless that were about to strike Dash turn to dust as they were hit with a huge block of ice.
"Anyway, best to get back to fighting. See you later." Chrysalis said to her before disappearing. Dash stand there for a few seconds before taking off to help out in this battle.
"Well at least it can't get worst." Dash said to herself. As she flew off, a red stream of light follow her before getting right in front of her. Dash stopped in place looking at what seem to be the Element of loyalty.
"What the heck? What are you doing." Dash asked herself.
"Well thou take thy weapon?" Her element asked her. Dash was shocked that it talked.
"Did you just talked?" Dash asked shock.
"Yes, now will you take thy weapon and fight for you world?" it was ask again.
"Heck yeah I will!" Dash cheered.
"Then grab me." It said to her. Dash did as it asked her and then a bright light shine around both her hands.
As the lights dined, Dashed looked at what was in her hands. There were two blades in her hands, the blade itself was shaped in a thunderbolt. It seem as though the blade could became one. It didn't seem heavy at all.
"Laminae fide." The blades spoke.
"Cool." Dash said as she speed off while slashing at some heartless.
(East side of Ponyville)
Twilight was casting as many spells she knew at the heartless. Most of the spell seem to not be doing much or this thing were a lot tougher than she thought. Twilight was fighting shadow like heartless, but each time she tries to cast a spell of them, they would just sink into the ground and move away.
"How an I going to beat these guys if they keep sinking into the ground." Twilight said to herself as she cast thunder at a flying heartless.
As she castes spell after spell, she was trying to get tired. Soon she'll be to tired to cast a spell. Behind her, a bomb-like heartless made it's way towards her. Twilight was too focus was the soldier heartless she was fighting to see the small bomb-like heartless.
(Minute Bomb)
Minute bomb stopped right behind her and jumped to close it's shell with a 10 second timer above it's head. Twilight's ear twitched at the sound of a hissing from behind. Turning around to see the bomb at 3 seconds. Twilight quickly casts a shield in front of her as the bomb exploded throwing her back.
"Ow." Twilight groaned as she felt her back take the impact. She tried to get up back suddenly stuck by lighting. She tried to move but her body refused to. Looking up she saw a wizard like heartless.
(Wizard)
"How are they using magic?" Twilight asked herself before see the Wizard started to cast another spell. It's wand glowed red symbolizing a fire spell but it was then hit from behind. Something exploded, causing a few colorful sparks.
"Wait, was that a fireworks spell?" Twilight said noticing the colored sparks. The Wizard turned to whoever attacked it but it was bombard with more fireworks. Fireworks zoomed past it and attacked the other heartless. Twilight then glowed green and felt her back wasn't hurting then got up.
"It would be a good idea to get up before you are hit again, Twilight." Said a familiar voice. Looking to where the voice came from and it was Trixie with a keyblade.
The keyblade was strange looking but was more focus on Trixie.
"Trixie, what are you doing? It's dangerous you need to-" Twilight didn't finish as Trixie place her finger on Twilight's lips.
"And let you have all the fun? I think not and It's seem you needed help." Trixie explained.
"But when did you get a keyblade?" Twilight asked her.
"Now is not the time for questions?" Trixie said to her. Twilight was about to apologize but then ground shook.
"I think we got company." Trixie said as she readied herself. Twilight turned to see a heavy armored soldier with dog shield.
(Defender)
"Ah, What kind of heartless is that?" Twilight asked shocked and slightly frightened.
"I don't know. I've never seem these kind before." Trixie said in confusion but got in a battle stance.
"You're going to fight that thing?" Twilight asked her. Trixie looked at her before nodding. Trixie then rushed towards the heartless, Twilight was about to call out to her but Trixie then cast a spell as she neared the heartless.
"Fire!" She yelled as she dash forward while thrusting her Keyblade in a spiral of flames at the heartless. The heartless seemed to have taking damage but was still up. Then the Defender thrust it's shield at Trixie, she was hit as the dog head bit her. The Defender then shot a fireball from the dog's mouth, Trixie hit the fireball and it returned to it's caster. The Defender was on fire but didn't seem fazed by it. Trixie then side dodge to the right while throwing her keyblade. It's spun like a wheel while lighting coated it. The blade hit the heartless going straight through it before coming back hitting it from behind. Twilight stood there stunned by Trixie's fighting abilities. The Defender shook of the fire like it was water.
"You're a tough one." Trixie said as she then cast another spell.
"Thunder!" Trixie yelled while pointing her blade at the Defender. The Defender put up it's shield as spears of thunder shot out of the tip of her blade and homed in on it.
The Defender froze in place as sparks of lighting ran around his body. It was paralyzed, seeing this as an opportunity, Trixie then casts another spell. She rushed towards it as it tried to move, as she neared she casts Aqua Splash. The tip of her blade glowed a blue color before she aimed at it. Then a stream of water and bubbles. The heartless burst to dust. Twilight was awed by Trixie, Twilight didn't know Trixie could do most of these kind of spell.
"Well that takes care of that." Trixie said to herself as she turned to face Twilight.
"That was amazin-Trixie your nose is bleeding!" Twilight nearly yelled as she pointed at Trixie's nose. Trixie place a finger on her nose and noticed the blood.
"Don't worry about it." Trixie said to her as she wrapped the blood away with her wrist.
"What do you mean don't worry about it? Your nose was BLEEDING! How can I not worry about it." Twilight said/yelled at her.
Trixie turned her back to Twilight before looking over her shoulder.
"Cause I have been through worse than this." Trixie told her before rushing towards a group of heartless trying to enter a pony's home. Twilight stood there before an orb of light appeared before her.
"Will thou take thy weapon to battle?" The orb asked her before showing it's self as the Element of Magic.
"What?" Twilight said as she stared at it.
"No time to waste. Take thy weapon or allow your world to die with all that lives on it." It told her. Twilight then grabbed the Element with right hand.
The light shifted to an shape of a book. As it dined, Twilight was able to see what the book was. The book had the Element of Magic surrounded by stars in the middle on the cover, the spine had each on the other Elements, and the corners had the sun and moon.
"The book of Friendship." Twilight said as if she knew the name. Before she could think, a group of heartless surrounded her. She quickly castes a shield spell as the heartless tried to jump her but they hit the shield. The shield then exploded causing the heartless fade away. Twilight looked at the book before looking around her as dust from the heartless faded away. She also noticed heartless floating in the air before fading away. Before she could think the ground began to shake. Looking around she noticed the a huge heartless appeared near her castle.
"That's not good." She said before rushing towards it.
Applejack and Rarity were trying to attack some flower type heartless. Though it was hard to as nothing they do seem to affect them. Applejack would use her lasso like a whip. Rarity wasn't good at using magic like Twilight but she knew some basic types. So she casts a fire spell on them, it worked but her fire wasn't strong enough to make them puff.
"These things are getting on my nerves." Applejack said growling at the flowers. The flowers kept themselves in place for a while but started to attack once Rarity showed she could use fire magic. The flowers started to attack by shooting seeds at them. Rarity was about to cast a shield spell but was hit in the right side of her waist by a seed bullet. The seed didn't hurt much but did felt like something was hurt far worse. Rarity turned to her the seed came from getting a good look at the heartless.
(Creeper plant)
The flower heartless looked at her before going into the ground and moved somewhere else. Dust appeared as the heartless moved around, the two mares started to wonder if they could get out of this.
"Rarity can you please put up some kind of firewall or something?" Applejack asked as she tossed of lasso towards a Creeper plant but it moved away before it could get caught.
"You know I'm not much of a magic caster as Twilight." Rarity said as she cast a fireball (which was the size of a golf ball) at the plant. The fireball flaw towards the Creeper plant and hit it's marked but wasn't very effective.
"Then maybe it would be best to start learning how if this is what we have to deal with." Applejack said to her with a stern tune. Rarity looked back at Applejack and gave a peck on the cheek.
"As long as you're there watching me." Rarity said as the two shared a moment. The two mares nuzzled their noses in affection.
(POV of the heartless)
Through the eyes of the eight heartless, they see the two hearts glow brightly as they fought the mare but after the moment the mare shared the Light within their hearts glows brightly like fire. This excited them as the light glowed brightly. Taking advantage of they're nuzzling, they quickly attacked.
(Pov of Rarity and Applejack)
They stopped nuzzling to be greeted by a Creeper headbutted them. The two fell backward to the ground, before being surrounded by the Creeper plants. The Creeper plants began to charge an attack.
Applejack and Rarity started to panic as the plants began to charge their attack. Rarity quickly cast a shield spell around them, but half of the heartless attacked creaking the shield. The shield started to beak with a hole coming through. Then the other half destroyed the shield as they threw they attack. The shield shattered to pieces like glass as seeds landed. Holding each other as the plant charged again, the two hope something would happen to save them. Then in a burst of light came and blinded the heartless causing them to be stun. As they were stunned, Applejack and Rarity blinked they eyes to see again and they were greeted by a green and purple light orbs.
"Take thous weapons and rise to fight." Said the green orbs.
"Or die to never see your families ever again." Told the purple orbs.
Applejack and Rarity grabbed the orbs after been told to. The orbs then shifted in their hands. Rarity's hands glowed as diamond-shaped items formed between her fingers. When they dim, they were multiple to three in between her fingers, they were her element of generosity. Applejack's orb glowed as a rod began to form, then the tip swelled up into one side of an ax with the other side as a hammer. When the light dims it looked brown with tiny red and green apples shaped gems lining upward the rod, with the tip of the hammer being the element of honesty.
They both stood up and quickly ready themselves. The heartless were still stunned so they attacked quickly. Rarity threw her diamond knifes/daggers at one of the plants, the daggers landed a hit and the Creeper exploded to smoke. Small green orbs rushed towards Rarity and adsorb into her body healing some of her wounds. Applejack smashed the hammer side of her weapon on one Creeper causing to burst to smoke and make a crater. Said crater caused the ground to erupt with spikes hitting two more. Applejack jumped back in surprise as the broken earth fixed its self. Shaking her head, she began to slash the others. She side slash one before down slash another. Green orbs rushed towards Applejack along with yellow/blue orbs and two chests. Rarity tossed her daggers at another Creeper plant. This time the plant dodged by going underground but the daggers did hit a shadow that was behind the Creeper. The Creeper popped out ready to attack but was smashed by Applejack's hammer ax.
"This make taking them out easier." Applejack said aloud. After she said, the started to shaking almost making the two mares fall over. Creaks began to appear in front of them as the ground shook. Suddenly in a burst, the ground erupted with a bigger plant heartless with a few smaller heartless.
(Poison plant)
This heartless didn't seem to please with the two. It then shot seeds at them. Rarity threw her daggers at the seeds while Applejack handled the small heartless that was trying to surround them. The daggers break through the seeds and hit the plant. The plant didn't seem all that fazed before shooting more seeds. This time the seeds were fast and hit Rarity when Applejack tried to block them. Rarity's eyes slowly faded white, she blinked a few times but everything still seems white.
"Rarity, are you alright?" Applejack asked in concern.
"I can't see anything." Rarity said as her voice sound panicked. Applejack then looked at the heartless that attacked her. The poison plant was about to slam its head into the ground to cause a shockwave but was hit hard by Applejack's hammerhead before slashing at it with the ax. After a few hits, it burst to dust with a heart flying up before a dark fog succumbed it. Applejack watched the heart fly up and fade away.
"Didn't the others do that too?" she asked herself as she noticed that the other time she defected the heartless with harmony weapon. Applejack was about to think more of it till the ground started to shake. The two mares looked at each other before seeing what looked like a massive black/purple fire rise as an even massive form appeared near the castle of friendship. Applejack and Rarity quickly ran towards it.
"Hope ya'll ready to party!!" Pinkie yelled excitedly as she blasted a shadow with her party cannon. The shadow flew back towards three other shadows before exploding to dust. She continued to shoot pastries at the heartless whom were going ore annoyed of the mare. Every time one of them would attack, Pinkie pie's senses would warn her.
"You can't hit me, you can't hit me." Pinkie pie mocked while pouncing around dodging each heartless's advancement. Shadows, Soldiers, and one Neoshadow which watched from afar.
(Neoshadow's pov) It didn't like the pink mare, they couldn't hit her after some parts of her body would react.
'This would be easier if these Emblems were smarted and worked together than taking turns attack.' The Neoshadow thought to itself.
'Time to matters into better hands' Neoshadow thought before raising its claws above itself. Six portals opened as six Neoshadows crawled out. The seven purebloods looked at each other before turning to the annoying mare. The summoner Neoshadow's antennas twitched before they all sucked into the ground looking like puddles before rushing towards the mare.
Pinkie was dodging and shooting at the Heartless before noticing that they started to disappear into a dark portal. Pinkie stood in place and tilted her head in confusion. These monsters stopped fighting and just left. Pinkie found that weird as she was having fun.
"Guess I'll go back to the others." Pinkie said to herself before walking towards the Castle of friendship. As she did, a big puddle appeared in front of her.
"Oh, a puddle but all the water dried up." Pinkie said to herself before a Neoshadow jumped out causing a shockwave. Pinkie jumped back but the shockwave range was wider than she excepted. Her body froze from shock before being headbutted by another Neoshadow. She was thrown back from the attack. Pinkie then slashed four times by four other Neoshadows. Pinkie's clothes weren't torn but something felt damaged inside her. She was sure why but something felt off like her heart was being pulled out. The Neoshadows quickly sunk back into puddles that circled her. Pinkie got up and pulled out her cannon from thin air. She readied herself as the puddles continued to circle her. One of the Neoshadows popped out but before Pinkie could aim it went back to a puddle then another one popped out from behind her. This became a game a peek-a-boo as the Neoshadows kept jumping out one by one. Pinkie fired her cannon only to miss by far seconds. This went on for a minute or so before one of the Neoshadow dashes forward and grabbed her cannon before going back into a puddled. Pinkie was about to pull out another cannon but a glowing blue orb with the Element of Laughter.
"Grab me." Said the gem. The Neoshadows show the orb of light before moving away think it was something that would harm them.
"Oh, is this the part where I-"
"Just grab the element. I have no time for your nonsense." The element interrupted her. When Pinkie garbed the element, the light orb split into two shurikens. The shurikens were a four-pointed star with the element of laughter in the middle. The Neoshadows sensed a powerful force coming from Pinkie. One of them twitched it's antennas then pointed at Pinkie. The others nodded before three sunk into the ground and rushed towards Pinkie before popping out to strike from three different sides of her. Pinkie readied herself by taking a stance (similar to Rinzler) waiting to strike. When three of them got close enough Pinkie tossed her right shuriken at the heartless in front of her before jumping up, dodging two other Heartless before throwing her left shuriken as the two headbutted each other. Both shurikens hit their marks but the Heartless then sunk into the ground and regrouped. Pinkie garbed her shurikens as they flew back to her. Pinkie faced the group of heartless with her shurikens spinning in her hands. Pinkie then dashed forward and slashed at two Neoshadows. They both puff to smoke while the other four jumped back in surprised but was short lived as two more were attacked by a rainbow blur.
The last two Neoshadows and Pinkie looked towards the rainbow blur as it landed near Pinkie. The rainbow blur landed softly to the ground on the left of Pinkie.
"Need help Pinkie?" Rainbow Dash said to her friend. Pinkie looked towards Rainbow dash before smiling.
"Nah, I got this." She said before throwing one shuriken and dashing forward. The shuriken hit its mark destroying the heartless while Pinkie tried to strike at the other one. It ducked before sinking into the ground and the puddle disappeared. Pinkie grabbed her shuriken that was stabbed to the ground before walking back to Dash. Rainbow Dash smiled before high-fiving each other.
"See you got a cool weapon else well." Dash said while showing her blades. Pinkie looked at it in awe before looking at her own.
"Well, at least I can be a Ninja." Pinkie giggled to herself. Dash laughed too for a few seconds before calming down.
"Hey Pinkie, did you get anything from there heartness things?" Dash asked.
"Heartless, and I don't know, why?" She replied confused. Dash placed her right blade on her back before digging in her pockets.
"Cause I've been getting these things and for some reason, these weird green orbs keep making me glow for a few seconds before stopping." Dash said as she brought out a yellow/blue orbs.
"Weird, maybe the Princess knows. Let me see what I got." Pinkie said with a curious gaze. Pinkie searched through her pockets before founding something that wasn't sweets that she kept. She pulled it out and show that it was a bottle like item.
"What the heck is that?" Dash asked in wonder as she stared at it. The bottle was blue with a yellow star flowing inside. Before any of the two could say more, the ground started to shake almost making the two fall. The once the ground stopped shaking the two looked around before seeing a huge black/red heartless rising.
"BOSS BATTLE!!!" Pinkie yelled before rushing towards it. Dash quickly got up and rushed after her pinkie friend.
"Pinkie!! Wait up!!" Dash yelled for her friend.
While the six were shattered around Ponyville, Celestia stayed by the castle. She easily took care of these heartless and those 'Emblem' heartless. Though she never seems these 'Emblems' ones before, she wonders how long it's been since their world was closed off. She begins to wonder and worry on how many worlds have fallen to these new breeds and hopes her old friends were okay but for now she needs to focus on what's going on now then later. Celestia looked around her and took out a few ground heartless with a quick few firaja spells which took out large numbers of them with ease. One blast of this spell would take out about 10 or so with one hit even but the spell did cost a lot of mana to use. After her fifth use of the spell, she stopped to see if there was any left around. The only thing left was fading dust of heartless, small chest landing of the ground before moving towards Celestia and going into her pockets. Before she could exhale, a fireball collides behind her. Turning around she looked turns to the heartless that attacked her.
Said heartless was a large, draconian creature with predominantly dark green skin, save for its belly, which is tan, and its wings, feet, and the tip of its tail, all of which are brown. Its body is rather thin, while its three-toed feet are quite large, each sporting yellow talons. Its wings seem rather short and bulky when compared to its feet and tail.
(Tailbunker)
To the right of it was a muscular frame, and a heart-shaped hole in their torsos, but are smaller and more embellished. They have sharp purple and blue horns that form the outline of a curled heart, it also has small blue bat-like wings on their back, gold-tipped feathered wings on their forearms, and it has a long tail which appears scaly, and ends in a sharp, crescent-shaped blade.
(Invisible)
To the left was a spherical body that is pitch black and streaked with dark blue. Its glowing, yellow eyes are rather small. The inside of its mouth is blue, and the mouth itself is a jagged, toothy opening. This Heartless has three thick, black and blue tentacles with frayed, pink tips sprouting out of its body; two are on its top, and one is on its underside. (Darkball)
The Darkball disappeared and reappeared behind her. Celestia dodged out of a bite from the Darkball. When she dodged, the Tailbunker fired three fireball which homed in on her. Celestia's fur twitched as the sense of fire from behind her. Celestia cast a shield behind her before shot back ice spikes from her shield back at the Tailbunker. The heartless dodged out of the way before dashing towards her. Celestia was about to move out of the way but was then slashed by the Invisible's sword which was floating around. The blade tried to hit her again but she dodged and cast Blizzard at the Tailbunker which was summoning fireballs. The Tailbunker fired it's fireballs at her while Celestia countered with Blizzard. The fire and ice collided causing a smoke cloud. Seconds later, the Tailbunker suddenly came through the smoke dashing at her trying to ram her but when it was about to ram her instead it fazed through her. It gave out a confused grunt before a rock wall shot up from the ground blocking the Tailbunker's path. It slammed into it with a hard thud, the Tailbunker fell backward on it's back before the wall fell forward crushing the heartless.
The heartless then burst out spreading its wings causing a shock-wave, it thrust itself upward and flew towards her but Celestia ram into it first. The Tailbunker gave out a surprised yelp as it was pushed back. The two crashed into the ground, Celestia pushed forward and pushed further digging the Tailbunker making a trail of dirt. She then jumped off of it landing on the ground before casting an Ice shard straight into its chest before snapping her fingers. The Darkball was about to bite her but blades appeared and stabbed it. As Darkball burst to dust, the Invisible watch before striking. It's claw then caught on fire before raising it above its head. Suddenly, purple fireballs rapidly appeared around it before moving towards Celestia.
"Tremor Guillotine*." Celestia Said before thrust her hand into the ground before pulling out a great-sword made of dirt and rock.
She then deflected the projectiles before sending magic slashes towards the heartless. The Invisible blocked the slashes before blocking Celestia's attack as she teleports to attack the front of it but when it blocked her, she smiled disappearing and reappearing behind it getting a good hit on it. The heartless was surprised before doing a 180% right turn attack. Celestia blocked it before casting Thundaja. Within seconds, sounds of thunder ran through the sky and stroked the Invisible. Then blots of lighting come down from the sky before coming down towards in a twirl of lighting. The blots hit their target as the heartless took massive damage. It buffs to smoke while a heart flows up to the sky.
'If only I had a keyblade again.' She thought as she watched the heart fade away. Right before Celestia could think, the ground begins to shake. Looking around, she noticed that a large portal near the castle. Then red tentacles come out before Celestia realized it was the hair(?) of a Darkside Omega.
(Darkside Ω)
'Been a long time since I seen that.' She thought as the Darkside raised out of the portal. When it finally did, it towered over her like a castle. It stared down at her with its unblinking glaze before pulling its claw, dark energy began to gather around it. The heartless then slammed its claw into the ground causing a bigger portal to be made. Celestia jumped out of the way as the portal grew larger. When Celestia jumped back, she stared at the portal, wondering what was coming out. Yellow eyes started to rapidly appear before a huge cloud of shadows shot out of it. Once a sizable amount of shadows get out before the portal closed.
"Princess Celestia!" Celestia heard her name being called turning to whom was calling, she was greeted by Twilight Sparkle.
"Princess, are you alright?" Twilight asked her. Celestia nodded before pushing Twilight out the way as the cloud of shadows came towards them. Twilight yelped in surprise as the heartless flew off. Twilight fell to the ground and stared at awe at the storm of shadows.
(Devil's Tide)
Soon the others came not sure what was happening. The cloud of heartless span around the Darkside as it raises its claws above its head before slamming them down to the ground. Cracks begin to spread out, the group were thrown back by the force. The Darkside then get up, readying to strike.
"Princess Celestia, what do we do?" Twilight asked her teacher. Before Celestia could answer, a piece of the Devil's Tide flew off and landed on the ground. The swarm of shadow span up and formed a tower.
(Devil's Tower)
"Twilight, you and the others will fight that Tower." Celestia told her before looking towards the Chrysalis.
"You and Trixie will handle that storm." She said pointing the Devil's Tide. The two nodded before tossing their blades in the air. Their keyblade span as the flew far away before being consumed by light. One stream of light flew towards Chrysalis's back; the light fused with her bug wings. Chrysalis's wings change from tattered to rose-colored dragonfly wings. The wings had an odd thorny vine spiral design like it was trying to make a picture. The second light came out as a large blue disk. The disk looked similar to Trixie's keyblade: there was a huge circular platform while there was a small ring below a middle ring and above the middle was a large ring. The lower and upper ring was spinning clockwise while the middle was spinning counter-clockwise.
Twilight and the others minus Celestia stared at the two in awe. Before any of them could speak; Trixie and Chrysalis took off. Celestia flapped her wings and rammed into the Darkside. Twilight and the others stared in question before remembering the Tower of shadows that were now rushing at them. They jumped out of the way. Dash quickly attacked by slashing at it; some of the shadows were thrown out by her attack before bursting to dust. All the shadows' eyes once yellow turned to bright red. The Tower went wild and started to attack like a whip. Dash was closer to it and was hit three times before she moved away. Twilight cast Fira at it which at her it's attention. The Tower then flew into the air, rushed towards her, and bombarded her with all the shadows it was made of. Twilight felt nearly all the shadows attacking her. Once it was over, Twilight fell to her knees as the pain went wild throughout her body. Quickly, she looked through the book to find a Cura spell. Casting it caused her body to glow green along with her friends.
"Twilight are ya alright?" Applejack yelled looking at the Tower waiting to make a move. As they looked away, their bodies would glow green every few seconds healing their wounds. The shadows gather under Pinkie and reformed as Devil's Tower. Pinkie took heavy damage from the reformation. Twilight cast Cure on Pinkie while she used Potion on herself. The Tower then attacked Applejack and Rarity. The two were quick to move while Rarity throws some of her daggers at it. Four to five shadows fell out, then ten fell out as Applejack got a good slash at it. Pinkie throws her shurikens at the Tower; making a turn(?) to her. Its eyes turn red as it tried to ram itself into her but Twilight casts Stopga; freezing the heartless in place.
"Now's our chance." Dash said as she attacked the Tower with one fiery blade strike while Applejack slashed her hammer/axe into the heartless causing some wind to whirl around her, Rarity and Pinkie threw their weapons at it as their weapons were slightly coated in ice and thunder, and Twilight aimed her open hand at the heartless as she shot a large purple magic orb. Then Heartless unfroze and moved in a wild manner before bursting to dust. The six sigh before watching the others fight.
Celestia was doing some unknown looking spell that the five have never seen before. Celestia's body began to be coated in a light as she spread her wings out; as seven blades made of light appeared around her. The fives' mouth dropped as they watch Celestia launched the blades at Darkside. The blades embedded themselves into the Heartless before exploding, then Celestia cloaked herself in light and jabbed repeatedly while rushing at with lightning speed. She attacked the head as it was the weak-point if she remembers correctly. Anyways, she then raised her blade as a white ring appeared around in the middle of the Darkside. Then seven pillars of light appeared and span around it before a huge pillar of light exploded in the middle of the ring. Celestia the in a blink of an eye sliced the Darkside straight in the head. Then the Darkside slowly fades away leaving a crystal behind. The crystal then flew towards Celestia's pocket. Celestia watched it fade away before looking towards the Devil Tide that the Two keymasters were fighting.
"Princess Celestia!" Twilight yelled to her former mentor. Celestia teleported to them as the others watched Chrysalis and Trixie fight. Trixie decided to use Ragnarok. Trixie started to charge energy then fired the magical projectiles at the Devil Tide. The fusillades homed in on the Tide, many shadows flew out. The Devil Tide seemed to how countered her attack with its own kind. The shadows burst to smoke as they blocked the projectiles while also trying to attack Trixie. Trixie quickly spans her Glider to attack the shadow that wasn't hit, Chrysalis fired four Blizzaga at the Tide. The Tide once again counter the same way with Trixie's attack. Both Keywielders looked at each other.
"Thinking what I'm thinking?" Chrysalis said smiling to Trixie.
"Let's blow their minds." Trixie replied smirking.
Chrysalis and Trixie threw their Gliders into the air and charged back into their normal form. Trixie landed on top of a building with Chrysalis next to her. Chrysalis and Trixie then charged their keys again but this time they charged different weapons. Trixie charged her keyblade into a cannon, the cannon like future, the weapon had three reinforce rings which were spinning directions. The first and third were spinning in clock-wise while the second was spinning counterclockwise. Trixie's cannon was insanely huge and somehow Trixie was able to hold it like it was nothing. Trixie began to charge the cannon while Chrysalis teleported front of the Tide as it circled in place like vultures. Chrysalis raised her weapon in the air creating dozen magic orbs. Then she pointed her blade at the Heartless. The orbs began to move slowly before going moving quickly towards the heartless. The attacked cause many of the shadows faded away as the magical attack them, then the eyes of the shadows charged from yellow to red/orange. The Tide then tried to attack Chrysalis but she moved away and flew to Trixie. Trixie readied her cannon as Chrysalis came close.
The six mouth dropped as they see the Trixie's Keyblade charge to another weapon.
"T-that can't be possible. Weapons can't charge from one thing to other." Twilight said in disbelief.
"Trust me, Twilight. It's best to just go with it than question it. It's magic and magic makes no sense outside of our world." Celestia simple said to her as she watched. Twilight just mumbled to herself on how that doesn't make sense.
Chrysalis then moved out of Trixie's aim as she fired her cannon. Chrysalis then used Stopaja to slow the Devil Tide. Trixie fired her cannon at the Heartless. The cannon shot a laser at it what seems to be the main body. The Heartless took massive damage before rushing towards the ground. The ground and sky darkened as a core filled shadows. They all looked at this and one thing came it made.
