When Luffy gives chase to his air born straw hat, he ends up in Equestria. How will he cope with his new environment? Will he remain the carefree pirate he is, or will he turn into a lifeless drone upon hearing that there's no meat as he makes some new friends.

The Straw Hat

View Online

The morning sun shined brightly across the lion themed pirate ship as the Strawhats enjoyed the peace and quiet.
Ocean waves and sea gull squawking were the only sounds, yet barely audible until a large gale blew across the Sunny as
Luffy's straw hat flew off board the ship.

"MY HAT!" Luffy screamed, arousing his crew mates from their happy time, as he extended his rubber arm, but to no avail as the hat drew farther and farther away. "Usopp!" Luffy called to his crew mate, who turned to him. "Load me in the canon!" He said to the long-nosed coward.

"Bu- Bu-" Usopp began to stutter as Luffy began to shout once more.

"USOPP! WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS."

"Okay! Okay!" He quickly replied as he loaded him in and shouted. "Ready! Set! Fire!"
And with that Luffy blasted off into the distance, his eyes determinedly scanning the distance. His strawhat was a mere speck in the blazing sunset, but it was still there none the less. Luffy turned back and screamed to his crew with all his voice.

"I'll be back later, don't move." Everyone on the crew face palmed with a sigh of annoyance as they went back to their
relaxation, not exactly the same with the fact they'd just blasted their captain to who knows where! As Luffy grew ever so
closer to his hat, he began his attempt to regain his most valued treasure.

"Gum! Gum! Pistol!"

Luffy threw his open hand to the hat. "GOT IT!" Overcome with joy as he placed the hat unto his head, he began to
lose altitude, then looked down. A thick green forest laced the terrain below. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Luffy screamed
as he began to spin out of control, the image of green enlarging with every second of his descent.

At last, his body met the canopy resulting in a variety of sounds from his crashing, thrashing, and the harsh landing he took upon reaching ground level.

His hair was laced with twigs and leafy pieces, but his hat was still in his hands, and that's all that mattered at the
moment.

"Yes! I got my hat back!" He cheered as he placed it back onto his head once more, he'd held it tight in his hands
expecting it to fly off his head again, and that wouldn't end too well. "Okay now, where am I?" He asked himself as he
looked around.

Vines, trees, leaves, strange blue plants, (cough cough), no sign of life anywhere, except those glowing
green eyes that followed his every movement.

"Oh well, then I guess I'll just have to-" But he was cut off as a pack of Timber Wolves jumped out of the clearing of bushes, and began to circle Luffy. "OOH! Doggies!" Luffy exclaimed excitedly as he went up to hug one. It growled in a low harsh tone as it clawed at the strange creature with a strawhat. Luffy dodged the attack and jumped back.

"Wow! Grumpy dogs I guess." He laughed in his playful carefree voice, trying to lighten the mood before all the wolves
pounced on him and began biting at him. "OW! That hurts!" He shouted as he finally became aware of the situation, then
jumped in the air above his attackers. "Okay doggies, that's it!" And with that Luffy began his assault on the wolves.

"Gum! Gum! Gatling! Gun!

And with that, he sent a flurry of punches as the group below. They all began to stagger as the attack took its tole, and
just like that, one by one they all went down. They all seemed to be fainted from his one man army attack, and just as he
began to settle down, out of nowhere, a Manticore jumped out from the shade of the trees.

"AW COME ON! What's with this place!" Luffy complained as he got into a fighting stance in preparation for the gigantic
beast ahead of him. Unexpectedly, the Manticore sent out its scorpion-pointed tail at Luffy, and easily, he dodged. But due
to his quick maneuver, his hat was left in the spot he was, thus getting struck right through by the spiked tail.

"NO!" Luffy shrieked as he jumped in front of the tail and pulled the strawhat out of its grip. He held it in his hands and
stared at it. There would be no Nami, his other crew mate, to sow it back together this time. He was on his own, alone. A tear
leaked out of his eyes as he rested the hat on the ground below him, then turned to look the Manticore. In his eyes ensued
anger he'd only felt the day his hat had been punctured much like today. Just then Luffy leaned over resting his hands on
his hips, then planting his legs into the ground. His legs began to heat as steam formed from his body. He'd used this
technique only when it was an emergency, or if he was fighting a tough opponent, but right now, it was just for revenge.

"You..." Luffy muttered as his breathing intensified and his fists clenched, revealing his veins. "ARE GOING TO PAY
FOR THAT!" And with that, Luffy muttered the words.

"Gear Second."

And was off like a bullet at the now dumbfounded Manticore.

Gum! Gum! Jet! Bazooka!"

Luffy's fists with one incredibly fast and powerful attack which blasted the beast, sending it flying into a tree, and with a thud, it was out. Just as he began to think of causing it more pain, he turned into his old self.

"Oh well! No point in causing insult to injury, cause it's never really considered a victory, or something like that, hehe.
Now, where was I? Oh right! I was-"

Crack!

Just then Luffy turned around. There before him was... "A PONY?" Luffy exclaimed aloud. The orange filly, whom was
frozen in place with a broken twig under her hoof, cowered back into her hiding place, where Luffy heard quiet whispers.

"Okay gals, when ah say run, run." Apple Bloom whispered to her two friends. "Ready, set. RUUUUU-"

"Run from what?" Luffy asked, appearing in front of the trio. He massive compared to him, so he leaned over and bent
his knees to speak to them eye level.

"Oh, um hi there, " Sweetie Belle began nervously. "I'm Sweetie Belle." She managed to squeak out as she motioned
the other two to join her.

"I'm Scootaloo."

"And ah'm Apple Bloom."

"AND WE'RE THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS!" Luffy fell backwards from the booming voices. After standing back up,
and patting off dirt he'd picked up, he muttered to himself.

"Who'd have though such tiny little ponies could be so loud," He turned to them, examining their colors and strange
features. "Hey guys, what's with the horns and wings?" Luffy asked the fillies. "Their...SO COOL!"

"Oh these things? Well, I'm a pegasus, and Sweetie Belle here is a unicorn." Scootaloo quickly replied. "And just one
question." Luffy nodded. "What in Equestria are you!?"

"EQUESTRIA! Never heard of it. Oh well!" Luffy replied while turning his back on the crusaders to begin his long trek
back to the ship (Wherever that was). "Oh, and I'm a human." He turned back and chided with a large grin across his face.

"Wait! Err," Sweetie Belle called thinking of what to call him,

"Luffy's the name!"

"Yah Luffy, can't you come with us back to Ponyville? You can help us find our special talents, and meet some of our
friends. I'm sure everypony would want to meet you, even after you beat those Timber Wolves and Manticore." The unicorn
giggled with delight.

"Hmm, I know my friends are waiting for me, but the journey back would take forever and I'm hungry." Luffy whined,
looking downwards in distaste.

"Oh, there's lots of food back at th' farm." Apple Bloom quickly answered his prayers. And with that, Luffy jumped into
the air.

"Oh boy, food, of course I'll go! Now where's this place you call Ponyville supposed to be." Luffy asked determinedly.

"Oh, just follow us, we can find our way here and back easily. Our visits to Zecora really paid off, right girl?." Scootaloo
said righteously, and they all nodded, thus beginning the long trek back to Ponyville, and thus beginning a new adventure
for Straw Hat Luffy.

"So what kind of foods are there?" Luffy asked lazily. The crusaders had gotten tired, so Luffy held them up on his shoulders and in his hands, they were so puny. And so CUTE! Luffy thought to himself, as he was replied to by Scootaloo.

"Well, we have carrots, apples, berries, salads-"

"But what about the MEAT!" Luffy complained impatiently, but was then suddenly asked by a shaky voice.

"Y- Y- You eat...meat?" Sweetie Belle asked nervously.

"Yah. what about it?" Just then, the crusaders jumped off him and made a wild dash ahead. "Hey guys wait up!" Luffy called out to the trio, who seemed to get farther and farther ahead. But Luffy didn't let up as he chased after them.

"Was it something I said!? I don't know what I did wrong, I- I-, I'm so sorry." Luffy, sober and alone, fell back onto the cold hard ground as he looked to the ground with teary eyes. The crusaders whipped around to see him in this depressed state and approached cautiously as Apple Bloom spoke up first.

"Um Luffy, we're awfully sorry fer bein' so judgmental," Scootaloo looked at her with a look that said, 'Are you a dictionary?' then passed it on to the others.

"Yah Luffy, we just didn't understand, that's all." Scootaloo added.

"Yah Luffy, we're really sorry-" But Sweetie Belle was interpreted as a large grin came across his face and he jumped the trio in a bear hug.

"Haha! Gotcha!" Luffy winked at them. "But really guys, was it something I said?" The crusaders looked at one another with concerned looks, before Apple Bloom finally spoke up.

"Well here in Equestria Luffy, we don't eat meat." And with those words there was complete silence. None of the crusaders moved an inch before Luffy suddenly fell to his knees.

"WHAT!!!!!" He shouted in utter surprise. The crusaders just stared at him, as he did waited a moment and thought and waited and continued thinking for what seemed like half an hour. The trio were so bored by now, but felt they needed to at least be in the presence of their friend to comfort him. Just then, Luffy perked up and looked to them with his usual wide grin.

"Okay then, I'm done." He just said plainly, as if the last half hour never happened.

"Um okay then, well, look at that over there, it's Ponyville!" Scootaloo exclaimed, trying to change the awkward mood that had ensued the area. And with that, they headed along the path, and into the town.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When Luffy set foot int the town, everypony seemed to be watching him closely, muttering and whispering with each other. Luffy then turned to the crusaders. "Wow, everyone here is a pony!" The trio looked at him nervously, the fact he was so calm about this, or the fact he'd ignored the ponies around him who didn't greet him, instead giving him cold stares, was just dumbfounding them. "So guys, where can I get something to eat around here?"

"Well, maybe we can stop by Pinkie Pie's place." Scootaloo suggested, causing Luffy to giggle a bit.

"Pinkie Pie, you all have such funny names around here don't you?" The three gave a sigh of annoyance. Even though Luffy was technically a teen, at the moment he was acting like such a kid. Finally, they arrived at Sugar Cube Corner, though the door had a closed sign placed upon it, but Luffy didn't notice, so he gave a knock.

"Hello, anyone there?" Just then, the door slammed open. Mr. Cake held broom stick in his mouth.

"You, you get away from here you monster." He swung the stick at Luffy, before seeing the crusaders beside him.

"Oh, um you three, get away from it, NOW!"

"Mr. Cake, you don't understand, he's a very nice guy, not a monster." Scootaloo tried to explain, but Mr. Cake just shook his head, and closed the door. Luffy gave a sigh, then turned to the trio.

"Guys, you have to go. I've been in situations where I've been feared before, I they don't usually end well." Luffy said. For once in the time the crusaders got to know him, he was dead serious.

"Okay Luffy, we understand, just..." Apple Bloom began. "Don't get hurt, or hurt anypony in that matter okay?" Luffy gave a stern nod as they departed the area. The ponies around town now crowded around him.

"The fillies are gone now, attack the monster." A pony shouted in the crowd of ponies, who wielded weapons such as sticks, torches, and tons of other stuff.

"I'm not a monster!" Luffy exclaimed, but that didn't change their motives at the moment as he began struggling to dodge their attacks. No one here understands. I have to leave, to get out of here, and I have to go right now! Luffy thought to himself as he launched into the air and onto of a building. He looked down to the crowds and gave a peace sign with a large cheeky smile, then ran off, hopping from one building to another. Just then, he was enveloped in a strange purple aura.

"Aha! Got you now!" A voice exclaimed excitedly as Luffy felt his body begin to plummet downwards, and slamming him on the ground, but due to his rubber body, he bounced back up.

"HAHA! I'm made of rubber so you can't take me down that easily!" Luffy, so blinded by his cleverness, suddenly felt a bit drowsy as his vision blurred more and more until the world around turned black.

New Beginnings

"Gah." Luffy groaned upon awakening. He tried using his hands to sit himself up, but they were tied, along with his legs. The world around him was a bit blurry, but he could just make out figures of ponies.

"What are we going to do with it?" The voice that he'd heard when he was knocked out spoke.

"Ah don't know, but before we do anything to him, what is it!?" An unfamiliar voice with a western accent spoke. Just then, he heard a pair of doors slam open. He could just make out three little thuds.

"He's a human!" Scootaloo's voice suddenly exclaimed.

"And he's not a monster like everypony says, he's a very nice human." Sweetie Belle's voice added.

"And even though he gave those Timber Wolves and Manticore a good beating, he still deserves better!" Apple Bloom finished. Now with regained senses and his old energy Luffy chided cheerfully.

"Yay! I'm saved!" And with that he broke the ropes loose, and stepped up to the 9 figures. The crusaders he knew, but the other 6 he didn't know yet. "And hey, where's my hat?" Luffy looked around to see it beside a bale of hay. "Oh there it is!" He took a step, only to be blocked by an orange pony with a stetson hat.

"Stop right there! Ah don't know what or who you are, but you ain't takin' another step closer." She spoke angrily.

"I just want my hat." Luffy said while reaching out his hand to his hat, only for it to be slapped away. "Aw come on!"
The other 5 were dumbfounded by this creature's reaction, and carefree emotion, yet fully aware of the situation. The cowpony gave a hoof stomp on the rough ground, then letting out a huff.

"Okay," Luffy took a deep breath. "I'm a human named Luffy, I'm made of rubber, I wear that strawhat and I'm really hungry right now!" Luffy whined, the orange pony at the moment was a bit confused, so Luffy took the hat quickly placing it on his head. "That's better, so, can we just be friends." Luffy spoke in a casual voice, extending his hand for a hand/hoof shake. There was a moment of silence before the cowpony suddenly screamed.

"Get e'm gals!" And with that, the 6 all pounced for him, but he dodged quickly, causing them to smack into one another, then stumbling backwards. Luffy, who'd kicked open the door and disappeared into a nearby barrel. As the mane 6 stepped out, he gave it his all to not burst out laughing until a yellow pegasus with a light pink mane spoke up.

"Well girls, maybe he's just afraid or scared of us. Sure he may look a bit," She gulped, "like a monster, but we don't even know." Her voice began to thicken with an assertive tone. "All we know is that we all attacked him, captured him, and didn't even take the time to listen and understand him."

"How do you know it's a him?" The orange cowpony said stubbornly, which surprisingly earned her a hoof slap from the yellow pegasus.

"You don't know what it's like, what it's like to be alone, scared, and hated. It takes willpower, it takes love, and most of all it takes a good friend to earn trust once you've done what we did to him." Tears now leaked out of her eyes as she finished speaking. Just then, Luffy stood up and out of the barrel, then to the yellow pegasus, giving her a nice pat on the back. Sitting next to her, he whispered in her ear.

"Thanks, for what you said before." Because for once in his life, he'd never been so touched by such strong words of kindness. He then turned to the other 5, stared them down for a moment before holding out his arms in surrender.

"You can take me now..." He said simply until the cowpony burst out.

"WHAT! Ya'll just gave us one heck of a run and now you just give up like that!" Luffy gave a nod, then stood still for a moment before the 5 looked to each other not saying a word, yet agreeing upon something, then a purple unicorn stepped up.

"We've come to the conclusion that you aren't the monster that we saw you as, and that you're free to roam Equestria." With this, Luffy perked up in joy as he went for a group hug with them all, even pulling the yellow pegasus along, thanks to his rubber arms.

"Oh guys, I'm so happy, and why don't we all introduce ourselves!" Luffy suggested, finally letting them all go as they sprawled across the ground exasperated from the bear hug.

"Well for starters, I'm Twilight Sparkle." The purple unicorn stepped up, giving him a friendly smile as a white unicorn joined her.

"My name is Rarity." She elegantly said a she curtsied, and was joined by a hyper active pink pony.

"I'm Pinkie Pie! I can't wait to have a WELCOME TO PONYVILLE PARTY!!" She exclaimed as she was joined by a cyan blue pegasus with a rainbow colored mane.

"I'm-" But the pegasus was interrupted by Luffy's sudden oohs and ahhs as he played with her hair.

"You're hair is really cool!" He said excitedly before the pegasus smacked his hand away.

"You mean my mane? And anyways, I'm Rainbow Dash. Fastest flier in Equestria!" Rainbow huffed proudly before Luffy was slowly approached by the cowpony who held her hat in her hooves and stepped forward towards him.

"Howdy partner, ah'm Apple Jack, and ah'm really sorry fer botherin' ya'll and not trustin' ye." Apple Jack looked down in shame before Luffy gave a cheerful giggle.

"Oh it's okay! It was fun after all." His usual grin placed across his face as he chided in joy before turning to the shy yellow pegasus, whom he was looking forward to being introduced to. She was still a bit sad, but that didn't stop him from stepping in front of her and kneeling over to talk eye level.

"Oh hi there," She began surprised upon suddenly seeing him. "My name's Fluttershy." She quickly muttered as she retreated to the opposite side of the barn, but Luffy didn't let up as he followed her. Rainbow Dash was just about to stop him and hold him back until Rainbow was held back by Apple Jack's hoof. The two athletes looked into each others eyes before turning to Luffy and Fluttershy.

"Hey what's wrong? I thought you'd be more lively heehee." Luffy chided, which brought a light smile to Fluttershy's face.

"I just don't understand how you endure all the hate and pain. You're so strong and brave, and a bit carefree." She teased playfully, finally opening up to him. "But that doesn't stop me from seeing what you really are." Luffy turned his head sideways as if to ask. "How so?"

"The best friend anypony could ask for." There was a moment of silence as the twosome's eyes, human and pony, locked into an unbreakable stare, "And-" She blushed and stopped herself, but wasn't the slightest bit hesitant to lean forward and give Luffy a hug even he himself found as a challenge, that he would be looking forward to, to return, but until then, he was going to do what he did best. Make new friends, make new enemies(Not on purpose), and new adventures which he'd overcome with the help of his new friends, his new crew in this new world.

The Rescue

View Online

It had been two weeks since the incident at the Apple Family barn. Luffy and the mane 6 pretty easily forgave one another and Luffy was introduced to Ponyville, this time, not as the monster they'd expected him to be. Luffy made many friends and soon got used to the fact that their was no meat to eat here. (Wellllll, if you really think about it there kind of is...) The mayor offered him a fancy building to stay at, but he kindly refused and chose a small wooden house, barely the size of a shed.

"Ahhh." Luffy sighed happily as he stretched his rubber arms upon awakening. The first rays of sunlight shined through the wooden cracks in the wooden wall at his bed side. "Morning already?" He whined, then muttered quietly to himself. "Maybe a few more minutes should do..." All was quiet for a moment before the front door slammed open causing him to jump up with a start banging his head on the roof. He cursed under his breath before turning to the brown coated earth pony at the door. His slicked back brown hair was now ruffled and his cutie mark was money bags or something like that. It wasn't anypony that he knew of, so he just stood there waiting for the pony, who breathed heavily to speak up.

"Are you the human Monkey D. Luffy?" The pony stuttered quickly, Luffy nodded in response. "I need your help, please, I'll do anything!" The pony was now on his knees, practically begging.

"Okay, sure! What do you need? Oh wait first of all who are you?" Luffy said casually, allowing him a sigh of relief as he stood up then brushed himself off from the dust he'd collected.

"My name is Mr.Rich, I'm the owner of Barnyard Bargains. Quite famous actually here in Ponyville." He bragged a bit, Luffy still not phased. With a frown, he continued. "Now back to the matter at hoof. My daughter, Diamond Tiara, she was kidnapped by a gang of earth ponies." Then Luffy's face turned serious.

"When did this happen?"

"I got home from work, expecting my daughter to be home from school, but-but- instead I found a note saying to meet them over at the abandoned mansion on the east side of Ponyville, that if I don't give the gang 3,000 bits, they would..." He didn't need to finish before Luffy stood up and put his hand on the pony's shoulder then said.

"Don't worry, I'll get her back. Promise." And with that, Luffy headed for the door. Opening it, Luffy started out the door, and began down the long road through Ponyville.

Though during his time here he'd made many friends, he still occasionally got stares from those who still didn't trust the creature. He didn't mind truthfully, and he could really care less about what others thought of him, all that mattered at the moment was the task at hand. Saving a daughter's life. Saving a father's pride and joy.

Just as the olden mansion came into view, he heard a rumble, then slowly looked to his stomach.

"Damn it, I forgot to eat breakfast." Luffy cursed under his breath, then looked around the area he was in. A cart full of apples caught his eye, and he quickly scanned to see if anyone(or anypony) was there beside it. Applejack happened to stand there, but on the opposite side. With a sly grin, Luffy threw his rubber arm at the mound of apples, then pulled back his treasure. Finishing in one big bite as he rubbed his belly.

"Not much, but food is food." He muttered lightly as he began towards the mansion once more.

"Luffy!" He turned his head.

"Shit." And then he took off in a sprint for the destination ahead, and away from the enraged cowpony on his tail. Easily he outran her, and quickly arrived at the front of the mansion. Cracks were visibly seen all across the walls. "Wow, what a dump." He muttered to himself as he opened the front door. The room was too dark to see if anyone was there, "Hey! Anybody there?"

"Who are you?" A voice demanded in immediate response.

"The name's Luffy. Are you the-"

"Get him!" The lights suddenly turned on, and out of nowhere, nine or ten ponies lunged at him. Each held a bat in their mouth.

Luffy just stood there because he knew the results of their attack. And so, one by one, their swings bounced back at themselves. His rubber body invulnerable to any blunt attacks.

Chuckling, Luffy said. "You guys are weak. Here, how about this." Throwing his arm backwards, he stamped his feet onto the ground.

"Gum! Gum! Pistol!"

And with that, he balled his hand into a fist and threw his arm ahead of him, bashing into at least half of the gang. With most of them down and out, Luffy noticed a small light blue filly with a diamond tiara tied to a chair with a gag on. (Cough! Cough!)

"Hmm..who could that be?"He thought for a moment, his eyes wandering the room in search of a response as he lightly knocked his fist on his head, trying to remember one small crucial detail. "Oh well, I'll just beat these guys up."

And so, he spent the next few minutes kicking the gang's asses until they were begging to get arrested. Staring at what seemed to be the leader for a moment, he leaned over and asked. "Who is she?" He pointed towards the filly with the diamond tiara!(Cough! Cough! Cough! Cough! Cough!)

"Um, wait! You mean you don't know? Isn't she what you came here for?"

"Oh right! Thanks! But..."

"But what?"

"THIS!" And Luffy punched him square in the face, knocking him unconscious on the floor with the rest of his unconscious gang members. Walking towards the wide-eyed filly, he heard a hoof step behind him. "So you want some more! Huh!" And he launched another 'Gum Gum Pistol' blindly behind him before he turned around.

There, dazed and most likely on the brink of fainting, was Mr.Rich. Luffy reached him just in time to catch him as he lost his balance and fell over. Gently, he rested the body on the ground, then whispered an apology, then once again headed for the filly. Her wide-eyed expression now filled with terror as he undid the ropes that bind her to the chair. then removed the gag.

Upon removal she screamed. "DADDY!" And she rushed to her fainted father's side, shaking him awake. Slowly, and carefully, Mr.Rich stood up and then turned to Luffy with a warm smile.

"Thank you, Monkey.D.Luffy. For saving my daughter." Luffy grew a large cheeky smile that etched all the way across his face. "And one more thing." He motioned Luffy forward towards him. Luffy bent over to meet him eye level. The pirate's expression more eager than ever.

"Wait! What do I get? A mountain of food? Huh? Huh?"

"Why, I was just getting to that actually." A sly grin escaped from his face. "Here, bring your head closer, this has gotta be a secret, if ya know what I mean." Mr.Rich gave Luffy a wink and he replied with a wink as well as he leaned his ear closer to the pony's face. "THIS IS WHAT YOU GET YOU IDIOT!" Mr.Rich threw his hooves down on Luffy's head.

Regrettable.

Very regrettable.

Because as soon as the hooves made contact they bounced back and knocked the business pony out once more. Diamond Tiara falling backwards in shock.

With the too shocked and fainted, Luffy let his eyes wander for a moment, waiting to see if anything interesting happened, then exited through the front door awkwardly.

"Well that was too boring." Then his stomach rumbled once more. "Good thing I have other plans for today." With a grin, he headed down the road to Ponyville to feast on whatever food he could find.

The Sweet Feast

A/N Sorry everypony for the long long long hold up. I just got caught up with my other fictions until I realized how many people favourited this fiction, and so this is my top prior! So enjoy!

Luffy, with a handful of bits he'd stolen from the gang members(well he is a pirate) he cheerfully strode into town, heading for the nearest fruit cart. Upon seeing one, he noticed the theme of the cart was not a fruit but a, bonbon?
Walking up to the cart he asked. "You sell bonbon's here in Equestria?"

The pony behind the counter nodded and replied. "My name's Bonbon actually, and yes, I sell them. It's my special talent! Wanna see my Cutie Mar-"

"Can I have some!?" He asked immediately. "I haven't had any other kind of food except fruits, and vegetables, which I, don't tell anyone this, don't really like. So, how much for one?" Luffy asked again, holding out some bits.

"Oh, that'll be about five bits sir." She said with a smile as the two exchanged bits and a bonbon. Unwrapping the multicolored wrapper, Luffy flung the small candy into his mouth. His expression was blank for a moment until he jumped upwards so high he hit a cloud.

"Boy was that amazing! I'll buy another for sure!" He shouted to the world when he reached the peak of his jump, and then eagerly descended back to the ground where the sweet treats awaited. "Just a few more feet!" His feet flat, ready for the impact, but just before he landed a sudden change of wind flipped him over onto his head when he touched ground. "Wait!-I!-Can't-Stop-Bouncing-Damn-It-All-Arrrrr-" And so his cussing and bouncing lasted way over an hour and by the time he settled down the sun was setting.

Trudging carelessly to the cart, he threw all his bits on the counter then horded up all the bonbons and left a dumbfounded Bonbon standing in place, too stunned to react, and too frightened to tell the young man that the bits he left didn't cover the amount of bonbons he took.

Once he settled on a nearby bench, he dropped the bonbons onto a space next to him and unwrapped one very slowly, then inserted it into his mouth.

Just then the sugar rushed through him once more and he turned to the pile of sweets that awaited him. A wide psychotic grin crept across his face as he unwrapped all of them in a matter of seconds and then took them all and plunged them into his mouth.

Once again.

Regrettable.

Very very regrettable.

For the first second he sat there, just plain old Luffy.

For second second his head turned to Ponyville. All the closed carts, filled with even more sweets maybe!

For third and final second, he launched off the bench......sprinting across the roads, rampaging throughout town.

The Sweet Feast had begun.

--------------------

At first, the only real threat was the noise Luffy was making during the night. Sure to wake up everypony, and so he did. The next threat was the danger of somepony standing in his runway. And the next threat? Well, nothing special except DESTROYING ALL OF PONYVILLE! Out of nowhere, left and right, buildings fell to Luffy, whom was mad with the power of the sugar rush!

It was mayhem! Ponies rushing left to right, in search of a place to shelter themselves from Luffy's rampage. Only pockets of peace came, only when Luffy stopped to throw all the food in a cart into his mouth, then after that, he continued his unstoppable search.

And then, just when all hope seemed lost, when the Ponyvillians had no place to hide, when all the food was gone, a bright light appeared in mid-air, and in the middle appeared none other than Princess Celestia. Luffy turned his head to the Princess, his eyes white with power. With a stern look, Celestia's horn lit up with a green aura which surrounded Luffy and levitated him up towards her to meet each other eye to eye.

"You will pay for what you've done," She looked to the devastated town, then said. "When the time is right." Dropping the rubber man, she concentrated all her magic to her horn, and then in a flash of blinding light, Ponyville turned back to normal. The houses and buildings the same, and the other properties such as trash cans and benches restored and untouched.

Once again, Celestia turned to Luffy, who was now out of his sugar rushy state. Dazed and not noticing the large concentration of magic Celestia was about to beam at him until a voice called out.

"Stop!" The princess turned to the familiar voice and was surprised to see Twilight Sparkle and her friends dash in front of the human that had destroyed their town in defense.

"Twilight Sparkle! What is the meaning of this?!!" Celestia's voice roared out across the town in frustration. "This fiend, this monster! He tried to destroy your home and your friends!" She tried to reason, but despite the fury, Twilight was still not phased.

"He's our friend! And I don't care whatever reason he did this, but I'm sure it's not his fault."

"Then who's is it then?" The princess asked in a concerned voice. Twilight bit her lip in response, out of ideas to reason with her.

"I- Er- I don't know." The purple unicorn hung her head in defeat as the princess charged her horn once more for an attack.

"Then you have no reason to protect him! Now stand aside or else I'll have to make you Twilight."

"But-But he's our friend, all our friend." The group behind her nodded in agreement. Fluttershy shyly walked up ahead of them and said in her usual calm and quiet tone.

"He may be energetic and maybe a little too feisty with others, but I'm sure he would never do anything to hurt his friends." Now Applejack walked ahead of Fluttershy,

"And he may be one heck of a trouble maker, but it's always all in good fun." The others remained silent, but that was enough to satisfy Celestia for the moment.

"Well Twilight Sparkle, actually all of you! I'm quite surprised you managed to make friends with a human." The others recoiled in response. Just then Rainbow dashed forward.

"Y-You mean you know about humans!?" Her voice clearly filled with anticipation.

"That is another story for another time Rainbow Dash, but back to the point." Her expression serious once more. "I better have a well written letter to explain the cause of what happened this day, Twilight Sparkle. Do I make myself clear?"

Twilight, relieved that she was off the hook replied with a sigh. "Yes Princess Celestia, I promise. And thank you."

With a nod, the princess disappeared as she had appeared in the first place, same old flash of white light and then poof.

"Wait, what just happened?" Luffy asked out of nowhere as they all turned back to him.

"We should be asking you that!" Twilight nearly shouted.

Luffy scratched his head for a moment then began his explanation. "Well I remember I ate a bonbon, from, well Bonbon. You know, the pony Bonbon that sells bonbons. Do you guys ever find that a little confusing? 'Cause I think-"

"Get to the point."

"Okay, okay! Sheesh! Okay so I ate a bonbon, and boy was it amazing. So I bought all of them, and then left." The others nodded, realizing where this was going. "So then I went into town and, well, ate them all then I don't remember what happened after that. Time for you to explain now."

But by that time they all knew what happened.

"Oh! Well that explains everything!" Twilight said cheerfully. "That should make a quick letter to the princess. Come on girls we're leaving!" And so they did.

"Hey wait! You didn't tell me anything! Did I do something wrong?"

---------------

Back at Twilight's tree house, Spike stood ready with a quill and some ink for the letter to the princess. And so Twlight began.

"Dear Princess Celestia,

Today I learned that you should not give Luffy sugar.

Your Faithful Student,

Twilight Sparkle"

"Twilight." She felt her name called. "Twilight." Now something was shaking her body side to side. "Twilight!"

"Wah- Oh Spike, what's wrong with you!? It's like three in the morning for Pete's sake!"

"But Princess Celestia replied to your letter!" The baby dragon explained as he handed her the scroll which she quickly unraveled then skimmed through quickly. A grim expression etched across her face by the time she finished reading. Dropping the scroll on the floor, she started in a full gallop for the door.

"Spike! Get the others! Tell them to meet me at Sugar Cube Corner, and if I don't make it back before five then tell them they can go back home." She finished just as she went out the door. And she was off, galloping frantically towards Luffy's house.

Back at the library, Spike picked up the scroll that Twilight had dropped onto the floor. In script the princess wrote.

Dear Twilight Sparkle,

This is not acceptable. Punishment will be given to the human known as Monkey.D.Luffy.

Your Disappointed Mentor,

Princess Celestia

Upon understanding the situation, Spike gripped the scroll and headed off to follow Twilight's orders. Time was not on their side, not at all.

--------------

Bucking the door open, Twilight entered the small hut-like house.

"Luffy!" She called, but to no avail. There was no sight of the cheeky, carefree human in sight. Tears began to well up in her eyes as she fell to her knees. "I'm-I'm too late..." A single tear escaped her eye as she headed back out the door. Her next destination Sugar Cube Corner. During the long walk from Luffy's house to Sugar Cube Corner, she couldn't tell which felt worse, finding out that Luffy was dead, or the future when she would have to tell them the grave news. But truthfully she didn't care, she just wanted her newest dear friend back with her.

Just then, a sudden fury flowed through her.

Princess Celestia sent me here to make friends and keep that bond strong! It isn't fair! And it doesn't make sense! The thoughts raced through her mind as Sugar Cube Corner came into view. Slowly, she walked up to the candy themed door, the burden she carried was undoubtedly heavy, but she must carry it, for Luffy, for her friends.

----------------

(An hour before Twilight Arrived At Luffy's House)

The constant sound of Luffy's snoring filled the small hut-like house through the night, that is, until the rhythmic beat of pegasus wings echoed from above. Two alicorns silently landed at the front door. Their ears listening intently for any sign of the human's awakening.

"Do you think he's awake Tia?" Luna asked quietly.

"No, he's out cold. Let's go on the mark of, three, two, one, now!" And with that the two weaved through the room and appeared beside Luffy's bedside. His continuous snoring meant he was still asleep. Silently, Celestia levitated Luffy up from the bed and then Luna levitated a rope around him, binding his arms and legs together.

(Not very) Surprisingly, he hadn't woken up, but still, the two princesses kept to the task at hoof. Capture, then punish. Celestia knew that Twilight would be angry with her, and possibly have a grudge after this was all finished and done, but she knew that over time, her pupil would move on and forget all about it.

Probably.

There was no true way of knowing. All Luna knew at the moment was that she was to help her sister capture a human. That was what really caught her attention when her sister informed her of their mission.

Swiftly and silently, the two once again weaved through the night. Their wing beats soft and muffled as they flew low to the ground. Luna had asked her sister many times why they did not just teleport to the human and back to Canterlot with the same means of transportation, but all Celestia said was that her horn was exhausted from a recent incident.

Many thoughts occupied the sisters' minds as they flew into Canterlot. Little did they know of the one big mistake they'd made upon entering the castle doors. For the first room they entered was the kitchen, fragrant smells of dinner leftovers and used pans and pots filled the area.

Immediately Luffy's eyes drifted open, and he muttered in a hollow voice. "Foooood."

"Tia..." Luna warned her sister in a concerned voice,

"I know." The princess of the sun replied, her wings now beating vigorously to reach their destination. Just then Luffy began to squirm in his ropes. Each attempt getting stronger and stronger. Muttering the word 'food' in the same drowsy voice. Most likely half asleep, he still managed to regain his strength.

"We're almost there, hurry Luna." Celestia called to the dark blue alicorn lagging behind her.

"Wait Tia! Slow down, or you shall-" But it was too late as Celestia's magical grip on Luffy slipped and he tumbled to the velvet floor.

Snap!

Ever-so slowly, the two sisters looked at each other with wide eyes, then even more slowly to their captive who now stood, his head hanging to his side, but his eyes wide open. Stretching then yawning, he rubbed his eyes a bit then looked around his new environment.

"Where the hell am I?" He asked, still not noticing the two stunned princesses flying above. He then scratched his head, then, his expression changed immediately as his face grew solid and stern. "Where's my hat? Oh no no no no no! Where is it?!!" Finally noticing the two alicorns, he asked angrily. "You two, what did you do to it?!!"

Celestia then spoke back angrily to the human. "We do not know, nor do we care about your loss of possession. All that matters is-"

"Shut the hell up lady and take me back to my house." Just then Celestia noticed her sister's anger about to explode and then rested a hoof on her shoulder and whispered in her ear to return to her quarters. Obediently, her sister did as she was told and left without a single huff. Turning back to the task at hoof, Celestia began.

"I am afraid I cannot do that! In fact, you may never return, for you are an enemy to Equestria, therefore you are an enemy to me. If you do not come quietly, then I will have to make you by force."

"Wait, what did I do?"

"Do not deny your actions Monkey.D.Luffy! You, who destroyed the whole town of Ponyville and endangered its citizens, should know by now that you must pay for your actions."

"Oh, that's what happened yesterday. Well, to tell you the truth I wasn't completely in control, so do I get a second chance?" Luffy asked innocently with a sly grin.

"No. I cannot allow you to walk among my little ponies and endanger them with your uncontrolled strength. I am deeply sorry to do this, for I know my pupil may never forgive me, but I hereby banish you from Equestria. Monkey.D.Luffy, you are hereby an outcast and may never return to this land ever again. Now you may leave."

"But can I at least get my hat?"

"Yes, take your things and leave as fast as you can. You must not endanger those you hold dear."

Luffy thought for a moment about those words. All his life his objective was to be able to protect those he loved, but he'd never imagined that he would be the one to put them in danger.

With a deep sigh, Luffy said. "Okay, I understand." His expression now full of gloom and remorse. And with that he exited the castle and began his long trek back to his house. The door creaked open as faint rays of sunlight from the distance lit the room. There his three possessions lay. A pillow that Twilight had lent him, a blanket that Fluttershy had offered, and his hat.

"There you are, I can't believe I made such a big fuss about all of this." He said placing his treasure atop his head. Then turning to the pillow and blanket. "Better return these back to Twilight and Fluttershy." Picking them up and placing them over his shoulder he set off for Ponyville probably for his last time.

There in the middle of town, stood the public library, where a teary eyed unicorn lay. Broken due to the loss of a dear friend.

"It's not fair..." She muttered quietly to herself and sobbed quietly into her hooves once more. She'd been up all night, which she did commonly for studying or finishing a novel, but last night was different. Last night she mourned for the loss of a friend. "No, no no, no...."

Just then, the door behind her opened revealing the one and only, Monkey.D.Luffy. Immediately she jumped up in surprise and shock, then rushed to him, overcome with joy, only to be stopped by the expression on his face.

"Wait, what's wrong Luffy? What happened?! I thought the princess got you and k- killed-" She was cut off as Luffy placed a hand on her shoulder then knelt down to meet her eye to eye.

"I can't stay." The words were plain and a devoid of any cheery emotion he usually held. "Not with the burden of knowing that each time I am near you, any of you, that I could hurt you, or worse." A tear suddenly fell from his now teary eye. "Tell the others that I won't be coming back. And here." He said placing the pillow and blanket in her hooves. "Can you give the blanket back to Fluttershy, and the others, but especially tell her I'm sorry for making it harder on them all, by making friends, then leaving them behind." Turning his back on Twilight and heading for the door, he muttered quietly to himself. "I really am a monster." Then left without another word.

Truthfully, he hadn't the slightest idea where his crew was. He didn't even know which direction they were in, all he knew was that he had to leave, never to return here.

For them, for my friends. Luffy told himself over and over, but it was never enough to fill the space in his heart that he'd made when he befriended the ponies of Equestria. Nor would it ever if nothing was done soon.

My Little Luffy Special: Running of the Rubber Man Part 1

(About 1 Week Before, Also The Day Of The The Running Of The Leaves)

Luffy happened to be strolling into town at the moment. It was morning, and his first priority was to find some food. His eyes carefully scanning each stand a pony was at, until finally he spotted one with an apple image on it.

"Oh boy, I wonder how Applejack's doing toda-"

He was cut short when he saw Big Macintosh and Applebloom standing there instead.

"Hey there Luffy!" Greeted the small floppy-maned filly. "I bet yer wonderin' where mah sister's gone off to, right?" Luffy replied with a simple nod, granting the Applebloom to continue. "She's at the Runnin' of the Leaves today. It's when everypony runs through the forest, causing the leaves to fall off of the trees. So me and mah brother here are runnin' the shop today. So is there anythin' I could get you?"

Rummaging through his pockets, Luffy found he still had about 10 bits left.

"Er, how many apples can this get me?" He asked, holding out the bits.

"Hmm," Applebloom thought for a moment then began once more. "4 apples, but for you, ah'd say about 6." Turning to her brother, she asked. "Do you think Applejack would be angry at me for this?" Her pleading eyes searching for an answer.

Big Macintosh returned the gaze with his huge behemoth ones and replied simply in his deep, bellowing voice. "Nope." With a sigh of relief, Applebloom turned back to Luffy and so the two exchanged their goods.

"Well, I'll be off then. I wanna go see what this Running of the Leaves is." Just then, Luffy nearly shouted. "Wait! Is it like a race?"

"Well. Applejack and Rainbow Dash consider it one each year, so yeah, kinda." Applebloom replied innocently.

"Wait...then that means..." Realization in 3, 2, 1, 0. "IF IT'S A RACE, THEN THERE'S A PRIZE! PROBABLY A GIANT MOUND OF FOOD! THANKS FOR TELLING ME, BYE!" And before Applebloom could tell him that he's crazy and it isn't actually a race, he was already sprinting in the distance leaving the filly and her brother in the dirt. Quite literally actually as Applebloom ruffled her hair to get the dirt out.

Turning to her brother, Applebloom stated. "He's crazy."

"Eeyup." Agreed Big Macintosh, turning back to the cart of apples.

------------------------

At the starting of line of the Running of the Leaves, Rainbow Dash and Applejack stretched their limbs to the longest extents. Many other ponies stood along the line, but none of them as determined those two.

"So Applejack, are you ready to quit yet." Rainbow Dash began, though she already knew the answer. It was just a method in her system of winning.

"Not for all the apples in Sweet Apple Acres Rainbow, and especially if it means ya'll 'r gonna win." Applejack replied defiantly. Ahh, thought Rainbow calmly. Taunting, it always works.

"Either way, I'm still gonna win 'cause of these babies." Rainbow flexed her cyan wings to their full extent. Applejack had been tricked by her into saying in exact words, 'Ah could beat you in a race, even with yer stinkin' wings!'

"Consarn it Rainbow." The orange cowpony muttered angrily. And then, just before Pinkie, who was in an air balloon with Spike, began the countdown to start, a loud thumping sound echoed throughout the woods. Running? Most likely, as everypony turned their heads to see Luffy running full speed to the starting line.

"Hey guys! Don't start without me!" He called out to them.

"Shoot." Rainbow bit her lips. If there was anyone faster than she herself it was Luffy. She'd never aloud admitted it, but it finally sunk into her brain that he would beat her in a race, even with her wings. "Pinkie, will you hurry it up!" Rainbow called to her playful pink friend.

"Of course not, silly. We gotta wait for Luffy." Pinkie replied in her normal cheery voice.

Rainbow nearly exploded right there. She had to think of something to convince Pinkie to submit to her demand. Something...Something...Just then Rainbow nearly screamed. "Aha! We could go on a pranking spree later if you give me a five second head start!"

Pinkie thought for a moment, then looked into her friend's eyes. They were pleading her to say yes, and so she did. With a sigh. she finally said. "Fine." But Rainbow was already 6 feet ahead by the time she finished the one worded statement.

Yes! A head start from the rest, and a head start from Luffy! Her conscious cheered happily, and ecstatically.

"Ready, Set, Go!" Pinkie shouted, waving her checkered flag in the air. And everypony was off.

"Hey guys, wait for me!" Luffy whined. He'd just only reached the starting line, and was exhausted by the looks of it. "Damn, I'm never gonna make it." Closing his eyes, Luffy actually sat down and began to think. Come on, come on. Think of something. He urged his brain. I'll never make it at this rate...maybe if I-Nah, I couldn't. It's only for emergencies. Just then his stomach growled loudly. Then again, this is an emergency! He nearly chuckled aloud, standing up then placing his feet on the ground. He then whispered the words.

"Gear Second"

And so, his body began to heat up, causing steam to rise up in the air. Everypony in the stand stared at him for a moment. Confused expressions they wore, which after a few seconds turned into concern. But by that time Luffy had disappeared, nowhere to be found, that is until they looked to the trail ahead. There was the faintest shadow, but it was going too fast for them to be sure. But maybe, just maybe...

-----------------------------

Applejack was a quarter mile ahead of everypony already. Determination and an urge to give Rainbow Dash a buck to the noggin to teach her a thing or two about not being a cheater. Just then, a faint shadow passed by her.

She heard two words. "See ya AJ." Then the voice was gone, and so was the shadow. Stumbling to a halt, Applejack shook her head to try and make sense of what happened.

"Was that-" Then she stopped herself. "Of course it couldn't be. Ah mean Luffy's fast, but, not that fast. Right?" Oh how wrong she was at that moment.

----------------

The world went by in a flash once Rainbow extended her wings and took flight. Everything was a blur, and she was almost sure nothing could catch up to her at this rate.

Almost.

At that moment she saw a shady figure, but unlike the others she was at a fast enough speed to recognize whom it was. But- It can't be! Rainbow nearly screamed. No one's that fast!

"Hey Rainbow, how's it going?" Luffy asked casually while walking backwards. Steam was rising from his skin. Strange, thought Rainbow. Oh well, he's just being Luffy,

"Pretty good, but don't think your gonna beat me in this race!" She said, beating her wings even faster, and managing to get a foot ahead of Luffy. "Ha!" The pegasus sneered triumphantly at the rubber man below.

Luffy simply ran harder and soon came to the same speed as Rainbow.

"Ha!" Luffy snickered playfully at the rainbow mare above. Then stuck his tongue out at her and zipped ahead.

"Darn it!" Rainbow shouted. Flying desperately to catch up, but to no avail. Well, no way I can win like this, Rainbow thought. With a sigh she muttered. "Desperate times, call for desperate measures." And with that she flew straight up. As high and fast as she possibly could. At the peak of her flight, she said confidently. "Look out Luffy. Here I come."

Immediately she dived to downward at an impossible speed. Enough to break the sound barrier, and enough to do a Sonic Rainboom. All hell was about to break loose throughout all of White Tail Woods as the two fastest beings in Equestria raced down, what would be, a calm, tranquil trail. All you could do was feel bad for the ponies waiting at the finish line.

I'm really, really sorry guys, for making you wait for a new chapter that's not even important to the plot. But I hope you enjoyed, and I'll be writing part two in three or four more chapters. So I hope you guys are satisfied, and I hope you have a nice day.
