I really love One Piece, and by that I realize that Luffy is a little OOC since he can be as or more random than Pinkie
, and that he didn´t say "SO COOOOL!" after seen Scootalo wings or the talkinig ponies. 
(It doesnt have any sense, and thats what i like), and im waiting for MOAR, so please continue.

I for one welcome as many One Piece crossovers as possible, how else will other bronies realize what the second awesomest thing in the world is?
(actually, I'm kinda debating whether I like ponies or OP better. Ponies have the unfair advantage of having a massive internet and fanfic community for me to enjoy, so it's a hard choice)

I love One Piece, but I think anybody without familiarity with the series is going to be seriously lost right from your opening scenes onwards. There's no character descriptions, no explanation at all about how what he's yelling in bold caps relates to what he's doing (or even that his arm is stretching, just that he "threw his hand".
). Gum Gum Machine Gun? Gear Second? No description of what's actually happening. You're telling us, but not showing us. The meeting with the Cutie Mark Crusaders would have been a belated but still welcome opportunity to at least tell your readers that Luffy's a rubber man, which could have gone a long way to explaining how he survived falling through the trees after being shot out of a cannon! Maybe even the point where Usopp shot him in the first place... show WHY they're not worried about shooting him out of a cannon? Dunno. Just suggestions! 
The idea is interesting but this needs a heckuva lot more work.

I aggre, characterization is need for no OP fans or at least No OP knowers (Like the fact that Luffy is a Rubber Super Human), but also is labbeled RANDOM because it doesn´t necessary have to had sense at all, like the fact he is shoot from a cannon, Luffy had done really reckless thinks in his life (as a kid he fighter with aligators and gorilas even whan he couldn´t win them, and in his young years he always finished doing something stupid just because it was fun, like wasting 4 or 6 hours looking for an Hecarles Beetle) and that makes that part of the fic not so imposible.
Well I'm making an extra chapter for everybrony who had none or little knowledge of One Piece.
Not bad, I was wondering when there was going to be a One Piece cross-over. I'll also have to check out the fic that inspired this one.

He'd just bounce because of the rubber. Blunt attacks harldy effect Luffy unless they're super strong or Haki-powered. Hmm... Actually that's a good idea. Making powerful unicorns (and maybe Flutershy's Stare) have the same effect as Haki that is. But otherwise, good job. Maybe flesh out the details a bit more. Like at least 1k+ per chapter maybe. I'll be looking forward to MOOOAAARRR!
