Trixie shows up in ponyville again, well great now it looks like the elements of harmony have to teach her a lesson again...or do they. Join the gang and Trixie as they help her get back on her feet after hearing something unexpected.

Trixie returns to Ponyville battered, bruised, exhausted and hungry. This time she isn't looking for a fight she's looking for forgiveness. Will the Girls and Spike give her what she's looking for or will it take a lot more than simply wanting to apologize to them to fix everything.

That and she also meets someone there that she has never seen before. (I sense to love soon, but not too soon, there will be build up to it.)
Yaaaaa no I don't think so.

Yeppers we'll love her like anyone of our other friends!

The day starts like any other day, Princess Celestia's sun has just risen over the small town of Ponyville and it's residents are waking up and going about their morning business. Or it would have been like any other day if not for the the bedraggled unicorn walking into town. This unicorn was Trixie, although she wasn't very great and powerful as she called herself before, in fact if anything she looked like she was on the verge of collapsing. Her mane was a mess full of leaves and twigs, her arms and legs were very scrawny not to mention you could practically see her ribcage from the malnutrition and she had bags under her eyes and they were also bloodshot from lack of sleep.

There weren't many ponies out on the streets yet since it was still only around. Well except for for one lavender Alicorn who was already up and about to start reorganizing the library; which was also her home for the past few years. It was actually quite amazing how this great big tree was a library and home and still lived, it really was amazing what magic could do sometimes.

~meanwhile at the library~

Twilight was re-shelving books after doing some reorganizing and was almost finished when her assistant Spike called her for breakfast "Twilight!" Yelled Spike from the kitchen even though he was a room away and all he had to do was walk out and tell her that breakfast was ready.

Twilight walked into the dining room with a small smirk on her face "Yes Spike I know I heard you loud and clear." Twilight let out a mirthful giggle that made the young drake blush a bit "Heehee uhh yeah sorry I forgot you were right next to the kitchen when I called."

"It's alright Spike I forget sometimes too, anyway let's eat."

After they finished eating they transported the dishes and the utensils to the sink to be washed later when there was a light knocking at the door. "Huh I thought I put the closed sign up last night before I went to bed?" she said with some wonder of who could be at the door this early because even though she gets up early in the morning she knows that nopony or at least not that many ponies would be out at this time just yet.

"I'm pretty sure ya did Twi I was with ya when you flipped it" When Twilight opened the door the sight that stood before her was something she wasn't expecting to see. What stood before her was a very malnourished Trixie just barely keeping herself up right against the doorframe when she opened it.

"T-twil-light" and that was the only thing that Trixie could get out before her hunger and her fatigue finally caught up to her making her collapse slowly into the arms of a very surprised and equally concerned Alicorn. "Spike!" Twilight yelled even though she know Spike was standing right behind her. "WE have to get her to the hospital. Right! Now!"

Without wasting anytime Spike picked up the Azure mare in his arms and followed Twilight running as fast and as carefully as he could to get the fainted Trixie to the Ponyville hospital the get her some medical attention.

"Hold on Trixie just hold on" was about the only thing that Twilight could think as she and Spike ran to the hospital

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep*

"Uuuuuuuuhhhh." Where am I, what's that noise, why is it so bright? Trixie thought to herself.

Trixie lifted her a bit to try and look around at where she was, although feeling a bit disoriented after waking up she quickly put her head back down to quell the the dizziness that had come to her as she tried to look around.

After a few more minutes of being awake she tried again to look around with better results than last time. From here spot on the bed she could make out the heart monitor that was set up next to her bed to her right. Oh so that's what that sound was...wait, I'm in the hospital, but what am I......*gasp* wait Twilight, I remember I was at her house and...and I was in her doorway and then I collapsed; I guess she brought me here.

Trixie looked around some more until her eyes came to rest upon the sleeping figures of Spike and Twilight sleeping side by side in a couple of chairs that where in the room.

"Ahhhhhhhhhh....mmmm, Spike...,wake up Spike we have to check up on *gasp* Trixie! Your awake!

"Hmmmm wha, whazzat Twi?"

"Spike get a letter to the princess,let her know that Trixie is awake!"

"Wha...yea... sure thin' Twi." Of course what he meant to say was yeah sure thing Twi, but he was still groggy from waking up.

Twilight quickly brought a chair over to Trixie's bedside and sat down. " So how are you feeling Trixie?"

"I." Trixie couldn't even get a single word out other than that since her throat was dry and began to cough.

"Here you go, drink this."

Trixie greedily gulps down the glass of water and give it back to Twilight completely empty. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." Twilight just sat there wondering what Trixie was doing back in Ponyville and why she was in such bad shape when she answered the door.

"Uuuummm"

That snapped Twilight out of her thoughts and made her look back at Trixie.

"D-did you bring me here?"

"Actually it was Spike that brought you here I uhh, I was kinda busy running to the hospital and panicking haha."

"Wait, you were panicking about me, but why?"

"Because, I wanted to make sure you were alright, nobody had seen you since that whole incident with the amulet."

Trixie visibly cringed at the mention of that horrible moment. "Well I thought you would just leave me out there to suffer what ever fate would throw at me."

Twilight's eyes went wide with surprise at what Trixie said "Why would you think that, I could never let anything happen to somepony who didn't do anything to deserve that kind of cruelty."

"S-s-so you're n-not mad still about all the horrible things that I did to you and all of your friends?"

Twilight was really caught of guard with that question. I mean sure she might have been boasting when she first came by but the whole Ursa Minor incident was Snips and Snails's fault, they went to get the Ursa for Trixie to banish it when she really couldn't and she also got her home destroyed in that scuffle, then there was the time with the amulet, but the amulet caused her to want more than just revenge for supposedly humiliating her the first time around but after that she apologized to us all, has this really been eating her up inside all this time? Twilight was looked of in some other direction almost forgetting that she wasn't alone in the room.

Trixie was just staring at Twilight while she thought and then she started to get worried when she turned her head away from her, of-course she had no idea it was just subconscious of her to move her head, still Trixie started to get teary just thinking about what Twilight would say to her.

Stuttering from almost crying Trixie looked up at Twilight. "S-s-so y-you're still m-mad at m-." Twilight cut her off.

"No Trixie."

Trixie just stopped shaking altogether but she was still teary.

"No I am not mad at you, in fact I'm actually surprised you'd think that I or one of my friends would hold a grudge against you, besides you didn't bring the Ursa to town Snips and Snails did, and the amulet twisted your mind and turned you cruel and evil, so, no Trixie I'm not mad at you."

Trixie was teary eyed still but this time is was from happiness instead of sadness. "S-so you truly aren't mad at me then, even after all that's happened?"

Twilight just looked at her and gave her a sincere smile and nodded her head. "Of course not Trixie, of course not, everypony deserves a second chance."

Just as Twilight finished speaking the door to the room opened and in walked Spike and the rest of the girls in tow. "Girls it's so good you came, but how did you know that we were here?"

"Well sugarcube when Spike was a runnin' through town Rarity said she stopped him and spoke to him, and she told us that he told her that Trixie had came back to town but was in the hospital so when she found me I done told her we should gather up the girls and meet up here with Spike.

"Hmm, okay, Spike did you send that letter?"

"Huh, oh, yeah I did Twi, just like you asked."

"So, Twilight, I'm a might curious as tah what exactly happen' to put Trixie in the hospital?"

Twilight was about to answer when Spike spoke up. "Well that's the thing we don't really know, we just found her propped up against the door frame and she looked like she hadn't eaten in days or really slept for that matter."

Everypony in the room looked at Trixie. "I-I haven't eaten in three days."

Everypony and dragon in the room let out a gasp at the bit of information.

"But why darling, how come you haven't eaten in so long?"

Trixie seemed to shrink down and try and cover more of herself with the blankets with everypony's eyes on her. "Well it's hard to eat when all you have is the clothes on your back and nothing else."

"O-o-ohh b-but how come you haven't found anything to eat in so long, i-if you don't mind me asking that is?"

"Well when you're not familiar with the plants and berries that are edible out there and I'd rather not take any chances."

Most of the girls nodded understanding what she meant. Now it was Rainbow dash's turn at a question. "But why did you look so bad when they brought you in.....wait! I didn't mean it like that I-I mean, you know, why were you all busted up?"

"Well when you live in the forest there's bound to be some dangers besides the animals that live in there there are some plants that have thorns, I've also had a few close encounters with the creatures of the forest."

Twilight looked really sad by what Trixie said. "Wow I-I didn't...we didn't know you were living like this I'm-we're so sorry."

Spike was racking his brain for a way to help Trixie when he finally thought of something. "Hey, Trixie!"

Everypony looked at Spike waiting for him to speak again. "You can stay with my and Twilight at the library if you want."

Trixie was surprised by how quick he was to offer something like that. "I-I-I don't know what to say I-I...thank you, really all of you thank you, and I know I already apologized to Twilight for all that I had done in the past but I feel like I have to apologize to all of you as well for my past actions I'm truly sorry, I never meant for any of it to happen, and after I left other towns had heard of what I had done so they shunned me."

As Trixie was re-telling her story she began to cry again. "I-I could barely get shelter most nights and I got food when I could b-but sometimes I went whole days without food I just...I-I" Trixie couldn't take it anymore and began sobbing, Fluttershy and Rarity were crying along with her, Pinkie's hair had gone straight and was teary eyed, both Rainbow dash and Applejack had a look of pity on there faces and as much as they wouldn't admit it there just a hairs breath away from crying as well, Twilight turned to Spike only to see him looking at her the same way and know what they had to do.

Trixie was crying and shaking from her recollection until she felt something holding her and she opened her eyes long enough to gasp at what was happening. She was being hugged by Spike and Twilight and the rest of the mares in the room.

"Wha-what's going on?"

"Trixie you're our Friend darling, and you looked like you really could use a hug." Said the fashionista

"That's right Trixie so get used to it because it's bound to happen a lot." said Twilight.

Trixie felt as if her heart might explode from how happy she felt at that moment. "T-thank you I-I don't know what to say but thank you."

While the seven mares and drake were hugging the doctor decided to pop in. "Good morning Miss Lulamoon how are you...oh I'm terribly sorry am I interrupting something?"

All the mares jumped slightly at the sudden arrival of somepony in the room whom they didn't hear enter more-so Spike, Rainbow, Fluttershy and Twilight since they had blushes on there faces Spike for being caught in the middle of a 8 way hug involving 7 mares and the mares for them having there behinds up in the air the way they did while hugging Trixie.

Twilight recomposes herself enough to speak. "Oh! Doctor how are you? Are you here to tell us when Trixie will be released?"

"Ahh, yes, that and I came to check up on her as well." said the doctor as he started going over something in his clipboard and looked up to see the mares and drake giving a nod as if to say continue.

"Ho-k then, well Miss Lulamoon so far you seem to be doing fine, you have made a good recovery after your friends here brought you in yesterday so you won't be needing that I.V. any longer, I'll just have a nurse come by in a bit to remove it, also we think you would be able to leave tomorrow since we'd like to keep you here for one more day just to be safe...oh! I'm sure you're feeling hungry so I'll also have the nurse bring by some food for you as well."

Trixie brightened up at the prospect of food and looked like she would cry again from seeing food again.

"That being said you're perfectly healthy, just make sure to eat and drink plenty and you'll get your strength back in no time."

With that Twilight turned to the doctor and thanked him for his time as he departed.

"Well you girls heard him let's give Trixie some time alone, oh..and Trixie?"

"Hmm"

"Me and Spike will come by tomorrow to take you to our home, okay?

"Okay, thank you, and again, thank you all for forgiving me."

"Don'chu worry none Trixie, after what ya wen' through ya deserve some good friends to look after ya an' don' fur'get that if'n you ever need help you can always ask one o' us for help."

"Yupperoni! We're gonna throw you the most bestest, most spectaculeriffic 'welcome back to Ponyville' party EVER!"

"Alright settle down Pinkie darling, and also, Trixie dear when you get settled in tomorrow be sure to give me a visit, I would certainly be happy to make you some clothes for you, and don't worry about paying for it, it wouldn't be fair to charge a friend and especially since you look like you might be in for a new wardrobe after being in one set of clothes for so long, and in a forest no less."

The other girls and Spike all roll there eyes at Rarity's comment about the forest since they all know how much she hates to get dirty.

"Thank you Rarity I'll be sure to drop by sometime tomorrow."

After that the mares and dragon begin to file out of the room after saying their respective goodbyes, and for once Trixie felt happy again, not the fake smiles she would have put on during one of her previous shows but a genuine smile after being sad for so long and depressed.

"I think I'm going to like coming back here after all."

With that Trixie decided to take a nap and just wait for tomorrow to come since she had a feeling that she might be busy if her new friend Pinkie was going to make her return a big deal, she may as well get as much sleep as she can now considering she might not get much tomorrow night with what the pink party pony might have in mind.

Right so this is where the human tag comes in it'll be like every other HiE story that has a single human involved, gets sucked into Equestria by accident but everyone is accepting of what he is.

Trixie was at the front desk filling out the paperwork to have her released from the hospital with Twilight and Spike sitting behind her and waiting for her. "Okay Miss Lulamoon now just sign here, and here and you're done, have a pleasant day."

"*Sigh* Finally, thank you I'm just glad to be out of the hospital now."

"No problem miss, just remember the doctors orders though."

"Yes I know, nothing strenuous for a while, believe me when I tell you that I won't be doing anything of the sorts."

The nurse nods her head and goes back to doing her work as Trixie turns around and starts to walk towards her friends. "Huh friends...it's been so long since I had any friends, well I'm going to enjoy it." Trixie thought to herself as she walked over to them. "Well, that's that, I'm finally free." she said with a smile.

"Ooooohh I just know you'll like it back here in Ponyville Trixie, so shall we get going because I know you must be hungry for something that isn't hospital food."

Before Trixie could respond her stomach growled causing her to blush.*Grrrrrrrrrr* "Aaahehehe, I might be a little hungry."

Twilight brought a hand up to her mouth to stifle a giggle only for her stomach to growl as well. *Grrrrrrrrr* "Ah,uhh, haha I might have skipped breakfast this morning." Now Twilight was sporting an equally sized blush.

"Ugh, come on Twi, I'm hungry too ya'know, it is one in the afternoon already anyway."

"Alright then let's get moving then! Rarity will want to see you as well since she said she wanted to make you some new clothes."

Just as they walked through the exit Trixie froze mid-step. "Uhh...uhhh...uhhh.....Twilight, why do you have wings?" Trixie's brain at the moment we busy re-booting after it blow up from seeing Twilight with wings.

"Uhhhh, Twilight, did you ever tell her about-"

"*Gasp* Oh my gosh I totally forgot, but I thought she would have seen them when we were all in her room yesterday."

"Yeah, no, I don't think she saw since no one turned around yesterday and she didn't hug us back since she couldn't and when we left the room her head was already turned around and facing the window."

"Ohhh, right, ummm so Trixie, I might be an Alicorn now heheheh uhhhh, Trixie you alright?"

"Alright...alright...I don't know...are you a princess now?" Trixie's brain had finally started to work again but she was still in a state of shock.

"Ohh, uhh yeah I am, but I don't actually do anything yet I'm still in charge of the library here in Ponyville so uhh yeah."

"Soooo, ummm, wow"

"Yeah, haha that's kind of what I said when I saw my wings for the first time."

"When did this happen, you know the whole Alicorn thing and you becoming a princess."

"Ohh, well let's see I think it was around six months ago, but it's quite the story so I'll tell you on the way to the diner."

"Okay, lead the way."

So Twilight told Trixie about how she accidentally changes all of her friends cutie marks and how she had to run around town all day and fix her mistake since all of her friends where doing the others jobs, or at least trying to as best they could. Trixie found it funny that Rainbow dash was trying to take care of Fluttershy's animals and was failing miserably but she never made fun of her just the fact that it must have been funny to run into a mess like that when they opened the door. Then Twilight kept telling her about her other friends, how Princess Celestia brought her to some weird place and watched some of her old memories and how she turned her into an Alicorn.

"Wow, that's really something, so you're really a princess now I didn't even know since I never really was able to hear from anypony else."

"Yup! Oh look we're here already!"

They then proceeded in sitting down at the tables outside the diner and waited for the waiter to come out and give them their menu's and continued to talk until then, mostly asking how Spike grew up so much in just six months.

"Oh well since Spike is a dragon he ages quite differently than a normal pony would."

Trixie remembered seeing him all those months ago and he was still a small little dragon barely came up to Twilight's midsection and now he was even a little bit taller than both Twilight and Trixie, considering that both Twilight and her were around 5'6" and Spike was now at an impressive 5'10".

"Ya well it was kinda weird for me that morning that I grew a lot, I thought Twilight here was going to have a panic attack."

"It wasn't that funny Spike, I was seriously scared, I didn't see you hoarding the past day but you were, well, you were huge!"

"Well that's kind of what happens when you go through puberty so it's normal to get bigger Twilight, or were you looking somewhere else at the time?" Spike wiggled his eyebrows at Twilight.

Twilight was having trouble comprehending what Spike had said until she turned to look at Trixie and see her blushing and trying very hard not to laugh out loud and only then did it occur to her what Spike meant with the comment.

"S-s-s-spike I-I-I w-wasn't l-l-looking there I-I uhh..umm..uhh...duhhh." Twilight was blushing very heavily and Trixie and Spike were at this point laughing so hard that they both were holding their sides and laughing at the lavender Alicorn's expense.

"T-t-twilight I-I *snort* I I'm sorry b-but when spike started *snrk* laughing I couldn't hold it in anymore HAHAHAHAHAHAHA." Trixie was now flailing her legs from laughing again while Spike was finally calming down now.

"Haha whew, umm *ahem* uhh yeah sorry bout' that Twi, just, well I thought that Trixie could use a good laugh."

"Yeah, well, hardy har har Spike, I'll get you back for that one sooner or later *sigh* anyway Trixie now that you've laughed at my embarrassment how about we finally get some food, since here comes the waiter." Right on queue the waiter arrives holding some menu's and a platter with glasses of water on it.

"Good afternoon, here are you're menu's, I will be back shortly to take your orders."

"Thank you" The waiter walked away and then the two mare's and drake started to look over their menus.

"Umm, I think I know what I'm going to get."

"Lemme guess Twi, It's a Daisy Sandwich?"

"No!"

Both Trixie and Spike just look at Twilight with a look on their faces say "Really?"

"....Okay, fine I am, is there something wrong with getting something simple, just because I'm a princess doesn't mean i have to get all fancy with what I order!"

"No, it's fine, it's just that I thought you would have ordered something else maybe, I mean couldn't you just make a daisy sandwich at home instead, and how come that waiter didn't bow and call you princess?"

"Well Trixie, after being a princess for six months and telling everypony that they don't have to bow to me everywhere they see me or every time they run into me kind of changes that."

"Ohh, okay then, but I mean it must be nice when when you get special service sometimes right, I mean it can't be all that bad?"

"Well, yes your right the spa ponies Aloe and Lotus are one of the few who actually still want to treat me like a princess even though I told them they don't have to, but yes it is nice, they even had a private room built a month later for the princesses and I for when we decide to go there to just relax and when I go they allow me to bring in as many guests as I back there."

"Wow Sparkle, sounds you have it made now huh?"

"Well I mean it's nice sometimes especially when your exhausted and just want nothing more than to just relax and have some peace and quite, so yes I guess it isn't really so bad."

As Twilight finished the waiter came back out with a pad and pencil ready to take there orders.

"So what will the princess and her friends like today?"

"Ohh, Silver Platter you know you don't have to address me formally I've already told you before and I would like a simple daisy sandwich with a side of hayfries."

"Of course Miss Twilight, one daisy sandwich and a side order of hayfries, and for you miss?"

"Oh I'll have the linguine fettuccine alfredo"

"Alright, and for the young drake?"

"Hmmmm, actually you know what I'll just have the same thing she's havin'." Spike just points at Trixie.

"Okay I'll have those out in few minutes, I'll take your menus."

They continue to talk until the waiter comes back with their food about other things that have happened around Ponyville.

"So her cat just scratched you on your-"

"Yes"

"And you had to have a doctor bandage your-"

"Yes"

"..."

"..."

"Ow."

"Yes, very ow."

Spike was smirking while listening to the Twilight's recollection of her day with Opal, Rarity's pet cat.

"So Twi, how exactly did Opal manage to crawl into your shirt and go all the way around and scratch you again?"

"I still don't know, but it might have something to do with me somewhat ignoring her while doing my normal routine."

"So you mean that you just sat down as soon as Rarity dropped her off and red the whole day?"

"...yes"

"Well I think I notice your error Sparkle."

"Really, because I thought I was doing fine, I left her water and her toys and....I forgot to leave her food didn't I?"

"Yup" both Trixie and Spike responded at the same time.

"Yeah, well I couldn't sit right for a week or so, I had to use one of those inflatable doughnut things, ugh it was so embarrassing."

After they finished talking the waiter returned with their food and left them to their business. Twilight and Spike were not even half way done eating when they turned and looked at Trixie to ask her if she was enjoying her meal only for them to just sit there in disbelief since Trixie had already finished eating, they both just thought "That was a big plate." and "That was fast.".

"Oh my goodness that was delicious."

"Wow Trix that was pretty fast, I mean it was a big plate of pasta."

"Yes Spike, yes it was, I think I might cry from how good that was, it just feels good to actually have a real meal after so long." She said with a small smile on her face.

"Well Trixie you won't have to worry about that anymore, we'll help you get back on your feet and food in your belly." Twilight said with a small giggle at the end.

"Yes, well anyway, thank you Twilight it really means a lot to me that you and all of your friends are willing to help me."

"It's no trouble at all you're our friend now so it's only right we help you out."

The waiter came out and took their plates away, when he returned to bid them goodbye he told them that it was fine that royalty did not have to pay even though Twilight wanted to, in the end she made him take the bits she owed and they three friends walked off towards Rarity's but stopped as Trixie brought Twilight into a hug.

"Thank you again Twilight."

"Heehee it's no problem Trixie I've already told you that."

"Mmhmm."

With that the three friends headed off to Rarity's boutique meeting a couple of ponies on the way, getting the usual 'good morning's' or 'how are you's?' as they walked. When they got to Rarity's boutique Twilight knocked on the door and almost instantly the door opens hitting Spike in the face.

"Ohh! Hello there darlings how are you do..ing *GASP!* oh my goodness Spike I'm so so sorry, did I hit you with the door!?"

Spike was crouched down holding his face in his claws. "Mmhmm." Was all he could say since he had his face smashed in by a door.

"Oh my goodness, oh my goodness, umm please come inside you three, Spike come with me to the kitchen if you would."

While Rarity led her drakefriend into the kitchen to examine his face for injuries Trixie and Twillight went and sat down on the couch in the middle of the room.

"I'm so sorry sweetheart."

"Naw, it's totally cool Rarity I probably shouldn't have been so close to the door anyway."

"Well regardless I must remember to get that door changed so that is swings inwards and not outwards, oh right Trixie you're here to get your measurements for some new clothes darling."

"Yes, and thank you Rarity, I'll pay you back as soon as I can."

"Nonsense dear you shouldn't have to pay a friend for something that she wants to do for you, I'll gladly make you a new set of clothes free of charge."

"Thank you Rarity, just thank you."

"Oh stop it, think nothing of it dear, now if you would kindly step up here please and undress to your undergarments."

Trixie broke out into a full on blush at the prospect of getting undressed in front of the two mares and dragon.

"OH! Spike would be a dear and-"

"Ah, I know when I shouldn't be around, I'll just be in the kitchen if you need me."

"Thank you dear."

Just as Spike turned the corner and walked into the kitchen Rarity turned back to Trixie and asked her to strip again so she could take the measurements. Trixie still felt a little nervous and a little bit self conscious about how she looked at the moment but still did as instructed.

Rarity hesitated a bit after seeing here so skinny and almost got a bit teary eyed just imagining the hardship she went through.

"Well, you can always bring back your clothes for adjustments when ever you need them dear."

"Ummm, okay."

It was clear that she was a bit uncomfortable with being exposed like this so Rarity hurried up with taking the measurements.

"Alright dear all done, you can put your clothes back on now and spike you can come back in now."

Trixie went behind one of the changing screens that were littered around the store as Spike walked back in. A few seconds later Trixie stepped back out from behind the screen.

"Darling I'll have a pair of clothes ready for you a a few minutes so you don't have to walk around in those old things."

Trixie simply nodded and turned around to look at Twilight.

"So Twilight how has-"

Trixie didn't get the rest of her sentence out before a certain pink party pony popped out of nowhere and scared both Twilight and Trixie right off the couch.

"HIIIIIII GUYS!!!"

"AHHHHHH!!"

"AHHHHHH!!"

Both of them were grabbing there chests and breathing heavy trying to calm their hearts from jumping out of their bodies.

"P-p-pinkie what was that for!?"

"Oh silly I was just going around and handing out invitations for Trixie's welcome back party and you'd be surprised to know how many ponies want to welcome here back."

"W-w-wait the other ponies want to welcome ME back...but why?"

"Well duh silly filly I told them how you were treated so badly for so long and they wanted to make you feel welcome, also they actually wanted to let you know that don't blame you for anything that happened since both those times you-"

Trixie cut her off by catching her in hug and saying thank you over and over again.

"Awww it's okay Trixie like I said everypony want s to make you feel welcome here so be at sugercube corner at six o' clock, don't be late!"

Leaving the two slightly still shocked mares on the floor Pinkie bounded out the door of Rarity's boutique to finish delivering the invitations and get the party ready for that night.

"Ohhhh! That reminds me mister author I have to get some of those Oreo thingies they sound good!"

"Umm Pinkie darling how are you talking too?"

"Duhh, the author silly!"

"The who?"

"No not the doctor, the author, well I have to go and get the rest of these invitations out and get this party ready bye girls!"

"Ummm."

"Yeah, Trixie, you'll liable to live longer if you don't try and figure out how Pinkie's brain works, trust me I know from experience."

"She's a good friend but I always wonder what goes on it that head of her's sometimes darling; but yes it's best you just let it be if you care for your mental well-being, ohh and also your clothes are done Trixie, here you go."

Trixie took the new set of clothes from Rarity's hands and walked behind the changing screen again to change into her new clothes and get out of her old ones.

"Wow, it feels nice to have a change of clothes for once...wait are..these underwear?" Trixie whispered to herself and blushed slightly since she knew that Rarity must have made them for her along with her new clothes. After Trixie finished getting re-dressed she stepped back out from behind the screen and came back to sit down. Trixie was wearing a simple dark blue v-neck t-shirt and blue jeans.

"Umm, I kind of don't have another pair of shoes and I'd rather not put the others on again if I don't have to since they hurt after wearing them for so long and they are worn down."

"Ohh, iiiideeeeaaaa! Wait right here Trixie darling I'll be just a moment."

Rarity comes back down the stairs from her bedroom no less than 30 seconds after she left with a shoebox in her hands.

"Here you are Trixie, these were a gift from Sweetie belle but they are not my size so I thought you should have them since I won't be wearing them anytime soon, and before you ask Sweetie belle understands that I might have ended up giving them to someone else who needed them more than I; she'll understand and plus I explained it to her when she gave them to me that they didn't fit and told me to give them to someone who needs them more with a smile on her face."

"Thank you Rarity and thank your sister for me would you?"

"Of course darling, now get along you probably want to get to Twilight's to rest a bit before tonight I bet."

Rarity handed Trixie a bag with her old clothes in it and Twilight, Spike and Trixie left and headed towards the library in which Trixie would be living in for until she could find a place of her own. They walk for a bit until they get to Twilight's home and walk into the treebrary.

"Heehee, hey i said the same thing Mr. Author!"

Trixie, Twilight and Spike all whirl around on the spot to find the source of Pinkie's voice; not being able to find it they all just continue on into the the home of the lavender Alicorn, Spike walks upstairs to his bedroom to go and check to see if any scales got messed up when he took that door to his face at Rarity's, while Twilight brought Trixie to her bedroom which had a second bed in there.

"You can use Spike's old bed, it should be big enough since it's the same size as mine."

"Thank you...ummm by the way why do you still have another bed in your room if Spike isn't in your room anymore if you don't mind be asking?"

"Well sometimes I look at it and remember the times that Spike was still little and well I guess it just holds a lot of good memories."

"Oh, I see, well thank you."

Trixie walked over to the bed and sat down and quickly threw herself back and snuggle into the bed sheets; it had been far to long since Trixie had felt and even slept on a bed at home she was thoroughly enjoying the sensation of bedsheets against her fur.Twilight was about to say something but stopped when she heard a small sniffle coming from the other bed.

*Sniff*

"Hey Trixie are you alright?"

Trixie lifted her head up and looked at Twilight with tears streaming down her face and a very big smile on her face with the occasional sniffle.

"Twilight, you don't know how much this means to me."

Twilight just walked over to Trixie's bed and sat down to which Trixie responded to by hugging her; Twilight hugged her back. "Trixie I told you I wanted to help you and so did all of my friends, and we meant it." Trixie had her face buried in the crook of Twilight's neck she was still crying but she wasn't sad; she was happy. happy to finally have real friends that actually cared for her.

"*Sniff* Okay, thank you, ummm I'm going to go wash my face and get these tear marks out of my face."

Trixie got up off the bed and began to walk away only to stop and realize she didn't know where the bathroom was.

"Uhhh."

"Out the door and to your right."

"Thank you."

Now that she knew where the bathroom was she walked over to it and opened the door and opened it without knocking, needless to say it quickly got awkward since Spike was just getting out of the shower and was completely naked.

"Uhhhh...ummm...duhhh." Spike's brain just melted because Trixie had just seen him naked and the only other ponies that had seen him naked before was Twilight and that was when he was just grown up from his growth spurt and Rarity for various reasons that won't be named.

Trixie's brain had finally caught up to her as did Spike's since he went to grab a towel off the rack to cover himself. "I'm so sorry, I'll just leave!"

Trixie slammed the door shut and put her back to the wall to calm her fast beating heart from the scene that just happened no more than a few seconds ago, "Stupid, stupid, stupid, I should have knocked first, I really hope it doesn't get awkward between us now." While Trixie was thinking to herself she heard the door to the bathroom open and watched as Spike walked out.

"Uhhh the bathroom is all yours and before you say anything it's kinda my fault since I forgot to lock the door after I got in." Spike just rubbed his neck since he thought he probably made Trixie's first day very awkward.

"Uhh...well umm okay thanks, uhh it's not awkward between us is it?"

"No, no it's was uhh, it was my fault don't worry about it, it was just an accident so let's just forget about it."

"Okay then uhhh, I'm just going to uhhh."

"Yeah, you go ahead and go in."

"Good thing that didn't get awkward." The both thought as they went about their own business.

"Hey, Spike, was that the bathroom door slamming shut?"

"Uhhh."

"Your forgot to lock it again didn't you?" Twilight said with a smirk on her face.

"Maybe."

"So she saw your little Spike?" Twilight was now trying very hard not to laugh while Spike's face just achieved a new level of embarrassment since his face was almost comically red.

"W-w-well uhhh I uhh...Yeah." That was the final straw that broke the camels back and Twilight could contain her laughter no longer, she was cracking up to the point that she was clutching her sides, It was that moment that Trixie walked into the room and saw Twilight rolling around on her bed laughing her head off and saw Spike in the room with his face all red; Trixie just put two and two together and started to chuckle as well until she was at the same level of laughter as Twilight was until she was doubled over from laughter.

"Ugh, it's not that funny."

Twilight and Trixie had finally calmed down enough to utter properly speak. "Well I did tell you I would get you back some how and getting you to make that embarrassed face was payback enough for that little stunt back at the diner heehee."

"It's seem that the new princess isn't as uptight as I thought."

"Well you learn how to joke around after you spend enough time around the five ponies I do everyday."

"True, I think I like this Twilight better than an uptight one."

"Hey Twilight?"

"Hmm, yes Spike?"

"We were supposed to be at sugarcube corner at six right?"

"Yes, why?"

"Because it's five thirty now."

"*Gasp* OH MY GOSH WE"RE GOING TO BE LATE!"

Twilight ran to her dresser and grabbed some new clothes but stops when she remembers that there is another pony and dragon in the room.

"Uhhh right sorry, I'll just use the bathroom."

While Twilight ran to the bathroom to get changed Spike and Trixie both went downstairs to wait for her to come down.

"OKAY I'M READY LET'S GO BEFORE WE'RE LATE!"

"Okay Twi, we've been ready, just waiting for ya."

All there of them walk out the door and Wait for Twilight to lock up the house before they make their way to the party.

"I'll just teleport us there."

"Wait Twilight I've never-"

But Trixie was cut off as Twilight teleported them right in front of sugarcube corner.

"Hey Spike where's Trix-"

*Bleargh!"

Trixie currently had her head in a trashcan vomiting from the experience of teleporting for the first time since the time with the Alicorn amulet.

"S-sorry Trixie I didn't know you weren't used to teleporting." Twilight said with a sheepish smile.

"Ugh...uhhh yes well hopefully it gets better after the first time because I really don't want to throw-up every time I teleport, since I would actually like to learn how to do that."

"It does get better...sooo uhhh we should go inside now."

"Alright then, lets."

Trixie walked through the front door of the shop and was a little confused as to why it was so dark and quiet but quickly found out after a very loud "SURPRISE!".

"Aaaaahhhh!" Trixie stumbled back into Spike and Twilight almost knocking them down the steps.

"Wereyousurprisedhuhhuhwereyawereyahmmmm!?"

"Uhhhh whaaa?"

"Haha I think that's a yes Pinks." Spike was chuckling a bit at Trixie's reaction.

"Well don't just stand there you silly filly come on in everypony's waiting for ya."

The four of them walked inside and were greet by a sea of friendly faces; out of all the faces she noticed those of the rest of the element bearers.

"Hey girls!" Twilight walked over and hugged her friends.

"Spike, darling!"

Spike quickly closed the distance between him and Rarity and caught her in a quick kiss. Both Rainbow and AJ were giving him a look that said "Wait for until after the party you two" and Fluttershy was smiling warmly at them clearly very happy for them since Spike had waited for so long to get together with Rarity.

"Awww-yeah now that everypony's here now we can really party come girls let's go dance!"

Fluttershy walked to the refreshment's table and got herself a sarsaparilla and went over to an empty table to watch her friends dance and Trixie was dragged onto the dance floor by Twilight to dance with the rest of her friends. Spike and Rarity were dancing close to each other and RD and AJ were going at it trying to see who could get the most ponies to cheer on their dancing. Pinkie was literally bouncing around making sure everypony was having a good time.

Just then the DJ came on the mic "Alright everypony I think it's time to start turning the beat up and my friend DJ-PON3 is here to help me out!"

"YYEEEEAAAAHHHH!! Let's spin this up!" As soon as she said that the other DJ started the next song.

While the ponies were getting into the new song that was now thumping out of the speakers Trixie was wondering who the weird looking being at the DJ booth was and decided to ask Twilight about it.

"Hey Twilight!?"

"Yes!?"

"Who is that up there with the other pony!?"

"Ohhh! I forgot about that, sorry let's go somewhere more quiet so we can talk better!"

They walked over to an empty booth and sat down. "So who is he...It is a he right?"

"Yes Trixie he's a male and as for what he is, he is a human that was brought over from his world to ours about the same time that I became an Alicorn."

"So he's an alien?"

"Technically yes but he's just like us except for the fact that he doesn't have fur like us and he has no tail, doesn't have a cutie mark since humans don't get them and he doesn't have a muzzle like we do."

"Right and his ears seem to be on the sides of his head instead of on top like ours."

"Yup, and he's been living with Vinyl and Octavia for the past six months too."

"Hmm sounds like he's mooching off of them."

"Ohh no, not him, he has a job and pays his fair share of the bills since they share the cost of their living expenses so he's not mooching off of them."

"Okay, I'll take your word for it."

"Hey I'm going to get something to drink, do you want anything?"

"I'll have some apple cider non-alcoholic if you please, I'd rather not get drunk or drink alcohol tonight."

"Okay I'll be right back."

Just ask Twilight left and disappeared through the sea of bodies Pinkie popped up with the human next to her. "Hey Trixie I just thought I'd introduce you to our town's resident human he's really nice."

"Awww thanks Pinks thats sweet of ya."

"Awww now your making me blush."

"Hello there MR.?"

"Vincent and there's no need for the Mr. I'm not that old yet I haven't even hit my mid-twenties yet." He had a big grin as he introduced himself.

"Hello Vincent, my name is Trixie." She shook his hand and asked if he wanted to take a seat, to which he happily agreed too and they both sat at opposite sides and scooted to the innermost part of the booth.

"So your the guest of honor here Miss Trixie?"

"Yes, and you can also forget about the Miss part too."

"Haha okay then Trixie."

"Ahh I hope I'm not to intrusive but I've never seen a being such as yourself."

"Ahhh well you see I am a human so I wouldn't be surprised if you hadn't seen another being like me anywhere in Equestria, and as for why I'm the only one of my kind here it's because I believe that Twilight was trying to see if she could pull a non-harmful object from another world since Celestia and Luna had found another world with Sentient life like this planet and she wanted to study something from that world; my world."

"Really, she pulled you to our world?"

"Yup, she did, although it was a complete accident that she did but thank Luna that she did it when she did because I was in deep trouble when it happened."

"Ohh, why's that?"

"Well, you see I was driving my car; It's a big metal thing kinda like your carriages but it's move by itself with the operator steering it where you want it to go, no need for magic to move it."

"That's really amazing, a self-propelled vehicle!"

"Yup, they're great most of the time."

"Most of the time?"

"Yeah that's where I told ya that it was a good thing I got sucked into your guy's world when I did because my car went over a cliff and it was plummeting to the ground, fast."

"Oh my goodness!"

"Yeah, Someone wasn't paying attention and hit the side of my car and it sent me careening off the cliff-side and to certain death, but as you can see I'm still kicking."

"Yes, you're very lucky that it happened when it did."

"Yeah, I can only assume that the authorities looked for a good while before the pronounced my body missing and me dead."

"But what about your family?"

"Oh right, well you see my parents had passed away about 3 years before and my brother died of kidney failure I think about four years ago and my other relatives live pretty far away from where I lived; I'm pretty sure they were sad about my supposed death but nothing I can really do about that now so I just told myself that I was given another shoot at life and I was gonna do what I loved."

Trixie couldn't believe that his parents and brother had passed away when he was so young still. "I'm so sorry about your parents and your brother."

"Hey it's okay it's not your fault my parents were in their early sixties; kinda young to die if ya ask me but I still remember getting a call one morning from one of my relatives that my parents had both died in their sleep that same night, I thought it was crazy but hey crazy things have happened before to other people, but ya my father had a heart attack in his sleep and my mother just went peacefully around 10 minutes after or so I heard from the mortician, I didn't cry at the funeral believe it or not I gave a short speech about my parents and I proud to have been there son so I didn't see a need to cry. You know my father always told me that even if you go young, if you did everything you ever wanted to do with your life than you lived a full life."

"Your father sounded very wise."

"Yeah he was, he was a good man, and as for my brother when his kidneys failed him he was rushed to the hospital but there was nothing they could do but reduce his suffering so I told them to pull the plug and I watched him smile at me and finally be free from his pain, again another funeral that I didn't cray at since I know he wouldn't want me to cry for him or mourn him; you can't really do anything about an organ failure, that and I just remembered him occasionally telling me that he looked up to me."

"He just sounds like another family member that was taken to soon but you're right I suppose my parents wouldn't want to cry for them either when they pass."

A few seconds pass before Vincent spoke up again.

"Alright enough of this sad stuff, why don't we go party, I mean it is a party after all and Pinkie's parties are the best!"

"So I've heard."

As Vincent and Trixie got up to go to the dance floor Pinkie ran up to them with drinks in her hands.

"Hey you guys there you are, ohh right Vincent here;s your water and Trixie your cider and don't worry it's non-alcoholic."

"Thanks Pinks."

"Thank you Pinkie."

"Well I guess we can sit and talk for a bit more while we drink."

So they sat down and talked a bit more about a few things, like how Vincent worked at Vinyls music shop and how she is messy but how Octavia is messier. Trixie just laughed because she had spoken to her when she had come through the door when the party first started and she seemed like the kind of pony that hated messes. The time seemed to fly by while they talked together to the point that ponies where starting to leave already.

"What time is it?"

"I think it's close to eleven' thirty."

"Oh my goodness, how long have we been talking for?"

"Probably since eight o' clock I think."

"Oh wow I didn't even notice the time until now."

"Yeah, time really flies when you're having fun."

"Indeed it does."

Vincent was about to say something but Vinyl found him and walked over to him.

"Yo Vince!"

"Oh hey, sup Scratch!"

"We gotta start packing up the equipment bro."

"Alright, I'll be there in a sec."

"Alright, don't keep me waiting."

"Alright...*Sigh* looks like I'll be leaving soon."

"Hey! Trixie!"

Trixie turned around to find Twilight calling her.

"We'll be leaving soon, Spike going to Rarity's for the night so it'll be just you and me."

"Alright I'll be there in a second."

"You stayin' with her?"

"Yes, she's putting me up for now until I can find a job and find my own house to live in."

"Yup, sounds like her alright, she did the same thing for me when I first came here until I found Vinyl and Octavia."

"Come on Trixie we should head out now I'm tired and would love nothing more than to just crawl into bed.'

"Okay Twilight coming, Well look like I have to leave now, goodbye Vincent."

"Alright, Goodbye Trixie." With that Vincent pulled Trixie into a hug making her blush slightly, Trixie returned the hug, after a few seconds the let go and went their separate ways after saying goodnight.

"Well Sparkle now I'm one hundred percent positive I'm going to love living here."

"Ohhh, I's it because you meet someone you like?" Twilight didn't have to look to know Trixie was blushing from her comment.

"H-h-how do you know?"

"Well when I looked over again and saw you two hugging, you were blushing."

"W-well he's very handsome I'll give him that and he's very nice."

"Yea he is pretty handsome, but don't worry Trixie you won't have any competition from me he's just a friend to me."

Trixie didn't even respond she was to busy thinking about seeing him again and before she knew it she was in front of Twilight's home. They both just walked inside and went upstairs to get ready for bed. Since Trixie didn't have any pajamas Twilight let her borrow some of hers for the time being and they both climbed into bed after brushing their teeth.

"Goodnight Trixie."

"Goodnight Twilight."

Twilight was asleep almost instantly after resting her head on her pillow while Trixie's mind was still thinking about the hug she shared with Vincent.

"I have to see if I can find him tomorrow and ask him when he's free." Trixie thought to herself before she finally fell asleep.

Job hunting or "job hunting"

The birds were chirping, ponies were shopping, laughing, eating breakfast and going about there business and the sun was up and shining bright, right into Trixie's eyes causing her to groan and shift around in her bed to try and get away from the merciless sun that was trying to disturb her beautiful sleep. Trixie got about 2 more minutes of sleep before she was scared half to death out of her bed.

"Good morning Trixie Breakfast is ready!"

"Aaaaaaahhhhh!"

Trixie got scared so bad that she literally jumped out of her bed and fell on the floor in a heap tangled up in her sheets. Twilight at the door watching the whole event go down giggling at the door. After about a minute Trixie finally managed to get herself untangled from her bedsheets and poked her head up over the side of the bed to look at the one who caused her heart to explode.

"SPARKLE!"

Twilight was still giggling a bit "Yeeeeesss?"

"That wasn't funny, I was still asleep and you bursting through the door scared me half to death." she said with a deadpan look on her face.

"Well I'll be honest I wasn't expecting you to jump and nearly bust through the roof of my house." Twilight said with a mischievous smirk on her face.

"But, like I said breakfast is ready so come down and eat."

"Mmmmm give me like five minutes it's too early."

"It's almost ten thirty already though."

"What? But why did I...oh that's right we came home close to midnight didn't we, oh well I guess I had to wake up at some point, okay I'll be down soon."

Twilight backed out of the room to head back downstairs to the kitchen while Trixie get the clothes he had yesterday and walked to the bathroom to take a shower. As she was bathing she made a mental note to go to Rarity's to see if she had the rest of her clothes done. After a few more minutes in the shower she turned the water off and stepped out to grab a towel and dry off and get dressed. After that she stood in front of the mirror in the bathroom brushing her hair and thinking to herself "I should really find a job, I don't want to mooch of of Twilight. After all she has already given me a place to stay and sleep so the least I could do is help out a bit and pay for what I use.".

After finishing her hair she walked out of the bathroom and made her way downstairs to eat. When she made it downstairs she was surprised at the spread of food on the table. "This is for two ponies?" She thought since it looked like the amount of food looked like it could feed at least five full grown ponies.

"So, this all for us Sparkle?"

"Ummm, well uhhhh I may have made a little too much but I have been learning how to cook from Spike."

"Mmm well at least I know I won't go hungry if you cook like this every morning." She said with a little chuckle at the end.

"Well don't think I'm cooking like this every morning; if I cooked like this all the time we'd run out of food in about three days."

"Right, well instead of just standing here talking why don't we sit down and eat what you made."

Twilight nodded her head and they both walked over to the table and sat down grabbing a plate each and grabbing waffles, pancakes,crepes and anything else that looked good. When they finished making their 'mountains' of food and started to dig in with big smiles on there faces. "This is really good!" Twilight was happy her lessons with Spike were paying off since just a few weeks ago she had tried to make pancakes again and had successfully made her kitchen into a war-zone of pancake batter and other ingredients.

About thirty minutes passed from when they started eating and now they were slumped back in there chairs with there faces now no longer sporting smiles but instead had tired expressions. "I..don't think...I could eat...another bite Sparkle." Twilight just shook her head slowly as if to much movement would make her feel sick. "Y-yeah.. m-me either." So they sat there for another ten minutes to let some of there food digest so they could move again. "Okay I don't think I'm eating for the rest of the day." Twilight began cleaning up the table and putting away what ever food wasn't eaten. ""I know how you feel, the first minute after I finished eating was okay but the the next ten were terrible...but so worth it." She was drooling just remembering the big meal she just had. "Okay Trixie you can close your mouth now, don't wanna catch flies now." Twilight giggled as she caught a glimpse of Trixie realizing she was drooling all over the floor and wiping her face with the back of her hand with a small embarrassed blush on her face.

"Uhhh here let me help you with the dishes."

"Alright, you can dry while I wash."

Trixie dried the dishes with a washcloth and put them on the counter since she didn't know where they went. She decided to tell Twilight about her plans for the day. "Hey Twilight?" Twilight kept her eyes on the dishes she was washing but answered back. "Yes Trixie?"

"I was thinking that if I'm going to be staying here with you than I think it would be a good idea if I got a job to be able to pay for my own things. I wouldn't want to mooch off of you, friends don't do that to each other, especially when that friend is letting them live in their house."

"That sound like a good idea. Having some of your own money to spend would be good and maybe you could use it to go on a date with your new coltfriend."

Trixie didn't know what was redder right now, the plate she had in her hands, or her face. While she tried to calmly place the plate on the counter she turned to look at Twilight with a huge blush on her face. "H-h-h-he's not m-m-my..w-we're n-not even g-going out." Trixie was stammering pretty hard and her blush just grew even more as she tried to get herself out of the awkward situation that Twilight had put her in.

"OH Trixie you know that I'm only teasing...besides I think he liked you too."

Trixie's eyes shot wide open and she turned to face Twilight, her eyes sparkling. "Really! You think so!?"

"Well, he did spend close to three hours with you...alone."

"W-well we did talk for a bit."

"Hehe well what were you two talking about?"

"Anything really, what kind of music he likes, which was really easy to figure out since he is a DJ after all. What he does in his down time when he isn't working at Vinyl's shop or covering a party. Wha-why are you looking at me like that?"

Twilight had a huge grin on her face as she listened to Trixie re-count what her Vincent and her were talking about. "You really like him don't you Trixie?"

Trixie blushed and started fiddling with her mane and looked down to the floor. "*sigh* Yes I do, but what if he doesn't like me like that back?"

Trixie slumped back against the wall of the kitchen and slid down and tucked her head into her knees, the thought of being rejected was messing with Trixie's head. Twilight knelt down next to Trixie and put a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Trixie you won't know for sure unless you ask him." Trixie had cried a bit so her eyes were a bit red around the edges. "I guess so b-but i just don't know...do you think I should ask him if he wants to do something with me?"

Twilight smiled at Trixie and helped her up back on to her feet. "I think that's a great idea" Twilight gasped lightly at a thought that had just crossed her mind. "Hey Trixie I could be your wingmare!" Trixie just looked at Twilight as if she had just grown a second head. "A....wing...mare?" Twilight rolled her eyes at her. "Yes Trixie, A wingmare, I could help you get Vincent on a date with you." Said Twilight with a grin on her face. "Really, you'd do that for me?" Trixie had a small blush on her face just thinking about going on a date with him. "Of course Trixie, besides I did saw that you too would look cute together didn't I?" Trixie rolled her eyes at her statement of them being together. "You might have mentioned it a few times."

"Well what are we waiting for, let's get ready and go out to find you a place to work!"

"Wow Sparkle you must really want me out of the house huh." Trixie jokingly said, although Twilight wasn't paying to well of attention to what Trixie said.

"Yup now let's..." Twilight realized suddenly what Trixie had said and paled slightly. "I mean no...What I meant was....I mean...uhhh...duhhh?"

Trixie was crying from how hard she was laughing, but she managed to calm herself well enough to make out coherent sentences. "Oh my goodness hehe I was only kidding Sparkle, you can calm down I promise I don't think you're trying to get rid of me."

"I...ummm...yeah okay sure."

"Awww, I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you Twilight." Trixie hugged her and put her head on her shoulder.

"It's okay, I guess I should really pay better attention huh."

"Hmmhmm yes I would think so. Don't want to get into another situation like that again do you?" She said with a smirk on her face.

"I guess not, shall we get ready for our day?"

"Well I've been ready so I'll just wait for you get get dressed."

"Alright, I'll be down in fifteen minutes."

Twilight went upstairs to get ready to take Trixie around town to look for a place to work. Trixie sat down to wait for Twilight to come back downstairs but quickly got bored after just one minute. "Ugggghhhh there has to be something to do around..." It very quickly struck Trixie just where she was living currently. "Duh, library I could have just gotten a book to read while I waited." So she got up walked to the bookshelves and started to look for a book to read, eventually she decided on a romance novel. They had always been her favorite, she never knew why, it could have been because she had never really found somepony to love her like the couples in the novels she red.

About thirty minutes later Twilight came down the stairs frantically apologizing for taking so long to get ready "I'm so sorry Trixie. I was looking for my shirt. I had laid it out yesterday in my dresser along with the rest of my outfit for today and...Trixie?"

Trixie was asleep again on the couch with the book she was reading covering her face. "Hehe ohhhh this is going to be good." Twilight had on a mischievous smile as she slowly crept up on Trixie, just as she was about to poke her sides and yell boo Trixie sprang upright and yelled as loud as she could "GOTCHA!"

Twilight let out a bloodcurdling scream "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" as she flailed about trying to back pedal away from the couch and her failed scare target. Twilight was clutching her chest as if her heart had just exploded from the sheer terror from her scare. Trixie was on the couch laughing so hard she was holding her sides and wiggling around as the laughter shook her body. She looked up only to completely stop laughing and walk over to Twilight noticing she actually had tears in her eyes and was shaking a bit from how bad Trixie had scared her.

"T-twilight are...are you alright?"

Twilight nodded slowly "Y-y-yeah...y-you j-just g-got me r-really g-good t-that's a-all." Stuttering on almost every word.

"Ummm do you want some help getting up?" Trixie offered her had to her and help her up only to have to stop Twilight from falling back down since her legs gave out from underneath her.

"Sorry, My legs just kinda get like jelly when I get really scared is all."

"Ahh, well ok, umm are you sure you're all right, I mean you did kind of scream bloody murder when I jumped up from the couch?"

"Yeah I'm fine, I just need to calm down." Twilight started taking deep breaths to calm her heart that was still beating a mile a minute.

"Well umm maybe we should get going don't you think?"

"Huh oh yeah right, that's right we're looking for a job for you, well come on let's go before you actually scare me to death." Twilight gave her a narrow-eyed stare.

"hehe uhhh, yeah l-let's go then shall we?"

Trixie motioned for the door and the two unicorns walked outside into the morning light to look for a job for Trixie.

"I just hope it's not a waitress job, I'll take anything but a waitress job." Trixie thought to herself.

Thew two then set off to the market place and commence their search.

After the little episode at the treebrary Trixie and Twilight headed for Ponyville square. Since It was already Mid-day The marketplace was already full of ponies going about their business, buying groceries and the like. Twilight had bought a newspaper from one of the stands and took Trixie to the park where they sat down on one of the benches there and proceeded to open the newspaper to the want ads section of it.

"Okay Trixie, First lets find all of the places that are hiring first then we can go from there. That sound good to you?"

"Yes, that's fine. Better than just flipping around the newspaper looking for every single one of them."

Twilight nodded and they began to find and circle all of the jobs that were hiring in the area. After about five more minutes of looking and circling Twilight set down the marker that she had somehow pulled seemingly out of nowhere, she just chalked it up to her poofing one up with her magic.

"Okay than Trixie here's all of the jobs that have openings right now. There's a spot open at the cafe for a-"

"Uhhh"

Twilight looked up to see Trixie giving a slight grimace at the mention of working at a cafe. Out of curiosity she decided to ask her about it.

"Is there a problem with working at a cafe of places like that?"

"Uhh, well why don't just hold off on all the waitress and jobs of the like for until we've exhausted all our other options."

"Is there a reason why you don't want to work in a place like that?"

Trixie's face turned into a slight frown as she recalled the reason she left her last job from a cafe. "Well the last cafe I worked at quite a few of the customers would recognize me from the description of mare that caused so much problems in this town that they would yell some hurtful things or throw their food at me just for laughs. One even followed me almost into the restroom and pushed me up against a wall and told me that I should do a certain favor for him or he'd get me run out of that town too. I managed to get out from underneath him and ran out of the place and ran home or what i called home for a bit, just a run down old apartment, and I called my boss the minute I got back and told him that I couldn't work there anymore...never gave a reason why, I just told him that I couldn't do it anymore."

Twilight was just sitting there slack-jawwed at Trixie's Story. "I...uhh wow...I uhh think we'll keep the restaurant jobs out for until later, How's that sound?"

Trixie just nodded her head and just uttered a simple "yeah"

After a bit of more highlighting and crossing out they had a list of places to check out for the day. They left to park and went to get a bite to eat before the went to start their hunt for a job for Trixie.

"Okay, so let's see." Twilight scanned the paper for a bit looking for a good place to start looking. "Ohh! We can go to quills and sofas to start off."

With that being declared they started for the store owned by a Mr. Davenport. As they walked in the middle-aged stallion looked up to see who had walked into his store only to see his best customer approaching the counter.

"Well hello there Miss Twilight. how are you doing this fine day?"

"I'm doing fine Mr. Davonport."

"That's good to hear. Now uhh I don't mean to intrude but umm didn't you just come in just this week for some more quills?"

"Hmm? Oh, yes I did but that not why I'm here."

The stallion now had a curious expression on his face as her wondered what she could possibly be here for if not for more quills. His eyes then ventured over to the other mare that was standing next to Twilight.

"Oh and who might you be little miss?"

Before Trixie could answer Twilight spoke up. "Oh, right this is Trixie, She just came back a few days ago and now she's looking for a job and we were wondering if you could hire her here." Twilight stated with a big smile on her face, but a quickly damped when Davenport replied back to her.

"I'd love to, but, I'm not sure she would be well heavy lifting."

"Oh I guess I must have missed that in the ad, *sigh* oh well thanks for you time anyway and sorry for not checking beforehand."

"Ohh it's no trouble at all miss Twilight and Good luck finding a job there little missy."

With that The two mares walked out of the store and began walking to the square again. "Well that was a complete bust."

"Well to be honest I kind of thought that working at a place like that would require heavy lifting, I just didn't think about it until we got there."

"Well It's okay, I didn't check the ad either *sigh* Okay then let's move on to the next one then."

Move on they did, but that's all they did for about almost an hour with no luck at all in finding anything. They started heading back home when Pinkie popped out of nowhere.

"Hiya Twi! Hiya Trix!"

They both gave a little startled jump at the sudden appearance of their pink friend. Twilight was first to speak after they recovered from their surprise.

"Oh hello Pinkie how are you doing?"

"Fine silly filly! Oh yeah I remember seeing you pass by the bakery today, what were you doin' huh?"

"Oh well we were out looking for a job for Trixie but every place that she and I went to either needed someone with a little more experience than her or she didn't think that it would work out getting hired there. So we're just going back home to rest up and maybe try again tomorrow with any other place that we missed."

Pinkie zipped up next to Trixie and wrapped her arm around her shoulder. "Why didn't you say so Trixie? I can totally see about you getting hired at Sugarcube corner!"

Trixie was just baffled her antics until what she said registered in her mind. "Wait, you can get me a job where you work?"

Pinkie nodded her head so hard she thought it would pop off and roll around on the floor. "Well of course you're my friend and I can totally ask the Cakes about hiring you!" Pinkie let out the biggest gasp that she'd let out since the time she met Twilight for the first time. "*GASP!* OMAGOSH WE'RE GONNA BE LIKE THE BESTEST BEST BUDS WORKING TOGETHER!" All the while giving Trixie the biggest bear hug.

Trixie's face was starting to change color. "C-c-can't b-bre-ath" She said weakly.

Pinkie let go of Trixie and she she fell down on her rump, as Pinkie nervously giggled and lightly blushed. "Huh-huh umm whoopsies, Sorry Trix, sometimes I don't know my own strength heehee."

"Yeah, tell me about it." Twilight muttered quietly and rolled her eyes.

"Well anywho I'm heading back to the bakery to the night to let the Cakes know that Trixie'd like a job there and get ready for tomorrow."

With that Pinkie bounded off towards Sugarcube corner leaving a smiling Twilight and a partially confused Trixie picking herself up of the ground.

"Well I guess that fixes our little finding you a job problem."

"Yes, well I just hope they agree to hiring me because after today I think we had only a few more store left before the cafes jobs."

"Well now we won't have to worry about that now will we." Twilight said with a smile on her face. "Come one let's get going you should get to sleep since you have to meet Pinkie at Sugarcube corner tomorrow morning for job training, and yes I'm positive that they'll hire you."

"Right, well, let's get going. I am starving right now." Right on queue both there stomachs growl telling them it's time to eat.

"Yeah let's go I could definitely use something to eat right about now as well."

"Speaking of cooking where was Spike this morning?"

"Oh, right he went to Rarity's but I'm worried I'm sure there's a reason that he stayed, Perhaps she needed some help with her dresses and he agreed to stay and help her. I won't worry he's old enough go about his own business, besides I've found it better to let him do as he wishes without me always right behind him asking him when he'll be back."

Trixie nodded her head and they both started off towards home for the night. On the way back Trixie started to think about Vincent from the party and began thinking about paying him a visit tomorrow after going to Sugarcube corner. "I'll have to ask Twilight or Pinkie about where he lives before I go and wonder around aimlessly." Trixie thought to herself. As she kept thinking what she could do with Vincent tomorrow they kept on walking but she already couldn't wait for tomorrow.

Training Day

After getting ready and having a quick breakfast Trixie left the library and headed off to Sugarcube corner. Trixie thanked that it wasn't too hot of a day since she was going to be in a bakery for a good part of the day learning about her new job. Trixie enjoyed the nice breeze of the early morning as she walked through the market area but decided that she could enjoy it later after work since it was scheduled to be nice all day. "Hmm, work, it's going to be nice to actually have someplace to earn some bits for myself after so long." Trixie thought to herself.

After a what felt like a short five or so minute walk Trixie arrived at said bakery and went inside where she was greeted by a very energetic pony in yellow frilled apron.

"Morning Trixie!"

Slightly backpedaling a bit Trixie returned the greeting. "Oh, Good morning to you too Pinkie, and can I also say thank you for offering me a job here with you." Trixie had a smile on her face when she finished speaking.

"Oh no biggie Trix that's what friends are for right, and beside the Cakes could always use the help when it gets really busy." said the bubbly pink mare as she grabbed the azure mare by the wrist and led her behind the counter where she began explaining what they'd be doing that day.

"Okay, so today you're gonna learn to man the register and take orders from customers, easy right?"

"Yes, that sounds simple enough I suppose."

"Okay great so here's how the buttons work on the register." Pinkie proceeded to show Trixie what every button did on the register until they had gone over what each button did at least three times. "Simple right?"

"Yes, it is rather simple once you get the hang of it."

"Alright, I'm going to go to the back and start making the days treats and you can stay here and watch the door for any customers." With that the pink mare bounded off past the swinging door leading to the kitchen and the sounds of bowls and trays simultaneously hitting the floor could be heard. "Ummm...I meant to do that."

Trixie just shook her head at the mare's bout of clumsiness and simply stood at the counter with her head in her hands waiting for somepony to walk through the front door. Nopony entered the store for the next half-hour and by the Trixie was half asleep leaning on one hand while the other was sitting on the counter top. The sound of the oven in the kitchen going off woke her woke just as a certain grey pegasus mare walked through the door and walked up to the counter.

"Hello Ditzy, how are you?"

"Oh hello Trixie, I'm fine, just picking up some breakfast before my route. hey wait a minute when did you start working here?"

"Hmm, oh just this morning actually, this is my first day working here. It's been empty up until now. so what can I get you today?"

"Uhhh do you have any blueberry muffins?"

At the moment Pinkie walked through the door and walked up to the counter with a tray of freshly baked blueberry muffins on it. "Of course we have them, I knew you would come in here looking for them this morning to I made a fresh batch." Pinkie set the tray down on top of the display and began taking two of them and placing them into a bag and handing them to Ditzy. "Here ya go Ditz, that'll be four bits."

"Here you go, well I got to get going now I'll see'ya later pinkie!"

"Bye Dtizy!"

Ditzy had already flown out of the bakery when a couple more ponies walked through the door thus beginning Trixie's first day on the job. The morning was a blur of customers ordering various sweets and pastries and then leaving, some came in and sat down to eat there and Pinkie had Trixie walk over and take his order which was relatively easy. It was now 1:30 P.M. when Pinkie came up to Trixie and handed her a bag of bits.

"Here ya go Trixie, you're done for the day, you can go home if you want."

"Oh okay, are you sure you don't need me for any longer?" Trixie asked her since she had only been there since around eight in the morning.

"Yeah it's okay I've got it from here besides it's you first day so I figured I'd let you go now. Oh the Cakes wanted to know if you wanted to work part-time or full-time?"

"I think Part time would be fine and would it be fine if I came in during the morning hours?"

"Alright I'll let them know and sure thing Trix."

"Thank you Pinkie." As Trixie began to walk out of the store she remembered suddenly what she wanted to ask her that morning regarding that human she had met at the party a couple of nights ago. "Eeeehhh Pinkie you uhhh you wouldn't happen to know where where Vinyl's house is do you? I was thinking of paying Vincent a visit today."

Pinkie just giggled. "Of course silly filly, here I'll show you." Then Pinkie pulled a town map out of her mane and then beckoned Trixie over to take a look at it. "Here's Vinyl's house, riiiiiiiiight here." pinkie put her finger on the map showing her where it was. "They live on the very edge of the marketplace, ya can't miss it, trust me you'll know the house when you see it."

"Thank you Pinkie, I'll see you tomorrow morning." Trixie waved as she said goodbye and walked out the door.

"Cya tomorrow Trix, have fun with Vinny!" yelled the pink mare and giggled at her last statement.

Trixie stumbled a bit on the last step leading to the store. "I'm just going to see if he's free today to hang out a bit maybe go have lunch, it's not like I'm asking him out..." Trixie blushed at her own thought of asking Vincent out but quickly shook her head to dis-spell that thought. She began making her way in the direction of the house Pinkie had pointed out on the map they looked at. once she made it past the marketplace again she started to look the the house she just "can't miss" as Pinkie put it, but she quickly ate her words when she came upon a house that just screamed "I am home to musicians". The house had a record with Octavia's, Vinyl's and Vincents name on it, the knocker was a treble clef, the same as Octavia's cutiemark and shutters for the windows had the cutiemark's of their respective owners painted on them.

Trixie walks over to the front door and knocks on it and then immediately starts to panic. "Oh crap, I don't know what to say if it's him who answers the door!" She thought. Before she can think again the door to reveal a grey earthpony mare.

"Oh hello Trixie, what brings you here?"

Trixie shook her head to get the gears working again. "Uhh I was uhh wondering if Vincent was home at the moment?" Trixie was wringing her hands. "Smooth Trixie, very smooth." She mentally kicked herself for being as nervous as she was.

The mare told Trixie to hold on for a second while she went and fetched him from his room. Trixie was just standing there feeling awkward just standing in the front door of their house. After about a minute of waiting the grey mare came back with the human in tow.

"So did you saw was at the front do...oh hey Trixie how have you been?"

Trixie was just standing there staring at him not even registering that he had even said anything to her until she heard him ask again.

"Uhh...hello, anypony in there, yoohoo? He said the last part in a singsong voice to which The grey mare giggled at.

"Huh-wha, ohh umm I'm doing fine thank you how about you?" Trixie felt really embarrassed that she had spaced out like that just from having him step out in front of her.

"Ahhh not much, been pretty boring as of late."

The grey mare next to him turned and playfully slapped his shoulder. "Well then, I guess mine and Vinyl's company have been boring then." she playfully said to him.

"Ohh you know what I mean Octavia." He said back grinning to one side with his arms crossed and glanced over to her.

"Oh so that's this mare's name" Trixie thought to herself. "Judging by her cutiemark it has to do with some classical instrument."

"Yes, I know what you meant, I was only teasing you." She giggled at him.

"Yeah I know what'cha meant I was only teasin' as well." He turned to Trixie and leaned against the door frame. " So what brings you to the musicians grotto, our humble abode, The place where music never dies, the land of wubs, and the island of tranquility...I can go on if'n ya like?"

Trixie was giggling like a mad-mare at this point. "W-what was that all about just now?" It was pretty funny to be honest.

"Oh just something that just got stuck in my head from when me and Vinyl did a little show here in Ponyville once, I was drawing a complete blank on what to say so Vinyl just nudged me and told me to just wing it soooo yeah that there's just a by product of me winging it."

"Well It was something, kinda reminds me of my traveling magician days when I used to make little openings like that."

"Huh, that so? Well anyway I'm sure you didn't come all this way to talk about the past again hmm?"

"Not really but I wouldn't mind hearing some stories from your time as a DJ with Vinyl, I bet they would sound interesting."

Vincent perks up at hearing that. "Ohh man yeah I've got some stories to tell you, I-"

"Don't you even dare tell her about that one time in manehatten or I swear to Luna you will wake up with your bed glued to the ceiling!" Yelled Vinyl from the other room.

Both Vincent and Trixie laughed at her sudden outburst. Vincent Asked if Trixie wanted to go out to eat since he hadn't eaten lunch yet to which Trixie happily agreed to after telling him that she hadn't had lunch yet either. After Vincent told Octavia and Vinyl that he was heading out to eat with Trixie they made for the diner near the Library. When they arrived at the diner they took a seat in one of the outside tables and were seen to by a waiter and given their menus. Within a few minutes they had ordered their food and drinks and were just having some idle conversation to pass the time until their food arrived. When their food did arrive finally, Trixie decided to ask Vincent about dome of his other hobbies other than music.

"So Vincent I was just curious, what else do you like to do beside make music?"

Vincent sat up in his spot a little and leaned on his elbows on the table. "Well, I like to cook, and yes I know a guy saying he like to cook must seem weird to you but I like it and beside Vinyl and Tavi' seem to like the treats I make form time to time even though they say it'll go right to their rumps. they eat every. Last. Piece. I mean it, if I bake a cake they turn into vacuums and just eat it all. Haha it's almost to much when I caught them licking their plates one day walking into the kitchen to get a piece myself." He chuckled. "You should have heard them "Uhh...we were just...I mean...it's not what it looks like...we just wanted a piece and ummm uhhh" It was just priceless, when I walked in it was something out of one of and old show I used to watch, they just dropped their plates on the table and blushed hard from being caught red handed."

Trixie can't even imagine a mare like Octavia just pigging out on half of an entire cake with Vinyl getting the other half, She might just have to tease them about that later. "Well then if your cooking skills really are as good as you say I should try it some time."

"Yeah I could cook for all four of use sometime whattaya say?" To say he was excited that he could share his cooking skills with somepony other than the mares he lives with was an understatement.

"Sounds good to me, just let me know when."

"Of course."

They kept talking for a bit more after they finished eating just waiting for the waiter to come back and bring them their check. When he did come back Trixie picked and looked at how much her food had cost when she heard Vincent speak.

"Hey don't worry about it I got it covered." Vincent reached over to get take the check from Trixie when she spoke up.

"Nonsense it only seems fair that I pay for my food." Vincent stared at Trixie incredulously. She remembered that she never told him that she had gotten a job yet. "Oh that's right I never told you I got a part time job just this morning."

Vincent looked a bit taken aback. "Wow really where are'ya working?"

"I'm working at Sugarcube corner with Pinkie in the morning's."

"Huh, okay cool I guess I'll have to stop by sometime then."

Trixie nodded. "you should, everything smells so good in there when it's freshly made." Trixie almost started drooling just from thinking about it but she closed her mouth quick and made sure she wasn't drooling on the table; that would be embarrassing.

The two payed their check and left a good tip for the waiter when he came back. They started making there way back to his house walking nice and slow enjoying the day. "So lunch was rather nice wasn't it?"

Vincent looked over at Trixie with a smile on his face as he put his hands behind his head and leaned his face upwards. "Yeah it was. It was great seeing you again after that night at the party."

"Yes it was nice seeing you again too." Trixie was practically beaming with joy that she was able to hang out with Vincent again. "We should do this more often, what do you think?" Trixie blushed lightly considering that she what she was doing was almost asking him out on a date.

"Yeah we should totally do this again, but next time I'm inviting you over so I can cook."

Trixie nodded her head and they continued walking in silence until they reached the front door. They both stopped and turned to face each other.

"Alright Trixie, I uhh, I have to head on in and help Vinyl with some of her music and she promised she'd help me with some of mine." Vincent was shuffling a bit where he stood feeling a bit awkward now that they were just the two of them.

"A-alright then I'll let you get to it then." Trixie was about to take a step away but stopped and started pushing herself to move. "Alright Trixie Come on you can do it. Just get closer and do it. If you wait any longer you'll lose your chance." Trixie took a step closer to Vincent and got up on the tips of her toes and kissed him on his cheek. Vincent went rigid as a board and gave a sharp intake of air but not loud enough for Trixie to hear it. "I uhh, I had a great time today...I'll see you around Vinny." With that Trixie left Vincent shell-shocked at the front of his door, after a few feet she turned to see that he had his hand to his cheek and was still just standing there still shocked but finally moving again. Trixie was Blushing pretty hard after kissing him on his cheek and she was wringing the hem of her shirt from the adrenaline that was coursing through her at the moment. "OHMYGOSH OHMYGOSH OHMYGOSH, I can't believe I just did that but...it was just impulse and well he is rather cute." Trixie kept on walking until she went behind a house and out of sight.

Meanwhile in-front of 'The musician's grotto' Vincent was still standing with his hand on his cheek, his mind running a mile a minute processing what just happened a minute ago. "Wow, sh-she kissed me...wait! Does she like me...is that why she kissed me?" While he was thinking the front door opened up and out walked Octavia who stepped outside...and right into him, both of them falling over on to the ground.

"Oof!"

"Owwwww"

"O-octavia?"

"Vincent? What were you doing in front of the door? Did you forget your key?"

Vincent had the sense knocked back into him after toppling over. "Ohh uhh yeah...wait no what I meant was no I do have my keys."

Octavia just look at him incredulously. "So why...were...you..." Octavia remembered how his face looked when they first fell down and Octavia smirked at him.

"Uhh why'rya looking at me like that?"

"Why were you blushing before?"

Vincent went rigid for a second before relaxing. "Uhhh ohhh uhh no reason heeheehee." He weakly and nervously chuckled.

"Ohh, really, so it had nothing to do with Trixie?"

Vincent knew it was hopeless trying to keep this from Octavia and sighed. "Alright yes, you got me it is, just uhh don't tell Vinyl cause' she'll bug me about it." At that moment Vinyl popped up in her window from her room.

"Don't tell me what big guy?" Vinyl had the biggest shit eating grin on her face. "I heard everything you guys said."

Vincent's face reddened again. "Ho-how long where you there?"

"Well like I said I heard everything soooooo the whole time."

Vincent just sagged and let out a defeated sigh. Then Octavia had to make it worse.

"Okay Vincent I was going to go out for a bit but now you just have to tell me how it went on your little date!" she said giddily as she got up since the entire time they had this discussion they were still on the ground.

Vincent just let out another defeated sigh. "You two aren't going to let me go until I tell you huh?"

They mares answered back. "YES!"

Vincent just picked himself up and walked back inside with Octavia tailing behind and closed the door. Meanwhile Trixie was back at the library practically bouncing of the walls re-telling the afternoon to Twilight while she sat on the sofa with a growing smile listening to Trixie go on and on about her day with Vincent. "And then, and then I umm..." Trixie trailed off and her blush started coming back.

"Yes Trixie, you what?" Twilight asked eager to hear what she had to say.

"I uhh, k-kissed him on the cheek and told him that we should get together again sometime."

Twilight clapped her hands together and got up to hug Trixie. "That's great Trixie, it's great to see you so happy."

Trixie returned the hug in kind. "Thank you Twilight, I, If it wasn't for you I wouldn't be this happy."

"You're welcome Trixie, no come on lets go and relax until dinner Spike just got back around the time you left so he's gonna cook for us tonight."

The two left the main room and headed up to their bedroom until dinnertime all the while Trixie still talking about Vincent.

Twenty Percent Cooler...And Hotter?

The next morning Twilight and company got up fairly late into the morning since it was Sunday; the library was closed on Sunday's. It was around 9:30 A.M. when Spike knocked on the door to Twilight and Trixie's room.

"Hey Twi, breakfast is ready, you can come and eat now!" Spike said, although it was muffled by the door.

Both Trixie and Twilight stirred in their respective beds silently cursing the dragon for ripping them out of their peaceful slumber. Twilight gripped at her sheets and tried to cocoon herself in them to try and get comfortable again; the same went for Trixie. It was working until they both groaned simultaneously when they the sound of a plate or something of the like fall and shatter on the floor of the kitchen followed by a very faint "Oops." from Spike. Both mares finally push off their covers and sit up with what could only be described as heart explodingly adorable faces; Twilight was rubbing one of her eyes with her hand and had a slight frown on her face from being woken up, Trixie was doing very much the same on her side of the room. Twilight scooted over to the side of the bed and dangled her legs over the edge before getting up and shuffling groggily over towards the door.

"Shtupid Spike." Twilight tiredly muttered.

"Oh Hhhhuuuuuuuuuaaaaaa well...we may as-well go down stairs and eat than, no telling what time it is right now." Trixie yawned out.

Reaching for the doorknob Twilight looked for her clock with half-lidded eyes. "Iiiiiit's 9:35." Twilight stretched her arms and arched her back. "Aaaahhhhh huuh that felt good, okay let's go eat...and see what that assistant of mine broke this time, better not have been my favorite coffee mug though." Twilight muttered that last part, coffee tended to be a lifesaver for Twilight on certain mornings and her favorite mug had been a gift from Celestia a week after her coronation that said '#1 Princess' on it. Twilight and Trixie made their way down to the kitchen to eat and check on Spike.

"Uhhh m-morning Twilight." Spike said with a nervous smile.

"Uhhh huh riiiight, good morning Spike." Twilight said slightly narrowing her eyes and studying Spike while Trixie continued into the kitchen to get some food. Twilight soon followed afterwards and they both came out with a plate of hay bacon and eggs with toast and orange juice. Sitting down at the table and eating Twilight decided to start a conversation since they were just eating in silence.

"So Trixie." Twilight said and promptly put another bite of eggs into her mouth. "What time where you supposed to go to work?"

Trixie's eyes almost bugged out there sockets and she felt her heart explode from the realization that she spoke yesterday with Pinkie that she would be at work today at 8:00 A.M. and it was now 9:40 A.M., Trixie started to cough loudly as a piece of food went down the wrong way. " *cough* *cough* OH MY GOODNESS I'M LATE FOR WORK" If that wasn't bad enough she started freaking out even more. "I'M GOING TO GET FIRED!" Trixie was almost close to tears from freaking out and she was just as close to hyperventilating until there was a knock at the door, which Spike went to answer.

"I got it Twi." Spike walked past both the mares seated at the and made his way to the door. When he opened it he found Pinkie standing there with an embarrassed look on her face. "Uhh hi Pinkie, do you need something?"

Before Pinkie or Spike could do or say anything Trixie ran up to her and and flung her self down at Pinkie feet. "Oh please oh please don't fire me I'm so sorry I'm so late I'll, I'll, I'll go get ready right now and, and head over there this instant just please don't fire me."

Pinkie looked down at Trixie as she looked up at Pinkie only for Trixie to see Pinkie giving her a sheepish look. "Ummm actually Trixie, that's what I wanted to talk to you about." Trixie's face blanched as she expected her to fire her on the spot only for her face to change from scared to completely confused. "The Cakes told me that you can have Sundays off but when I came back to tell you I completely forgot that you had left already sooo ummm yeah sorry about that Trix." By the time Pinkie finished telling Trixie that her job was safe she was sporting a decent sized blush on her face along with a sheepish smile. While Trixie was still trying to calm herself from her near breakdown on the floor. Spike was still re-booting his brain and Twilight, well she was just sitting there staring at them blinking her eyes every now and then. After about fifteen seconds Pinkie awkwardly shuffled and finally spoke again.

"Ummmm did I break you guys?" she tilted her head to the side slightly.

All together Trixie picked herself up off the floor, Spike's brain caught up with what happened and her excused himself from the room to go back to the kitchen and Twilight shook her head lightly to break herself out of her stare. All seemed okay after that.

Trixie gave a sigh of relief and hugged the party mare. "Oh thank you Pinkie I thought I was going to get in trouble with Mrs. Cake for being so terribly late, At least I know that Sundays are my off day now huh?" She half asked half stated.

"Yeah." Pinkie hugged her back and they both broke away from the hug after a few more seconds. "Sooo yeah, sorry 'bout making you freak out over nothing Trix."

As Trixie was about to walk back to the table Pinkie looked up to the ceiling of the library and spoke again.

"And you could have at least added some dramatic music for that little scene there ya'know like they do in the funny spanish Soap Operas."

"Pinkie did you just?...Really, Pinkie? Again? I thought we had an agreement that you wouldn't break the fourth wall again in the presence of others?"

"Awwwwwwwwwww but, but, it's so boooooorrring, couldn't you make something explode even a little bit, ya'know at least a little drama?" Pinkie crossed her arms and tilted her head and slanted her mouth.

"Pinkie, for the last time, no. No Theatrics! No explosions! Nooo music!"

"Aww poo, you're no fun mister, I bet you need a party to liven things up!" She made her hands into fists and put them on her waist.

"Pinkie, no! You remember what happened last time!?"

"Noo what are you....ohhhh, umm hehheh......I swear I had no idea where that lobster came from!......promise!" her front mane curl drooped slightly as her eyes shifted from side to side.

"Uhhhhh huh, right, well then, let's wait a little longer before you decide to pay me another visit, okay?"

"Ooookay, ohohoh wait before I go can I have some more of those oreo thingies? They were soooooo gooooooood." Pinkie was drooling on the floor from the thought.

"Okay Pinkie you can have some more, they should be back at Sugarcube corner in your room, and plahleeeease try and refrain from breaking the fourth wall until I let you know, Okay?"

"Yup!" Pinkie saluted. "Understood, sir!" And with that she was off.

"Ohhhh that Pinkie, *sigh* I need an aspirin."

Twilight and Trixie were just sitting there and had watched the whole time that Pinkie talked to the ceiling and finally turned slowly to one another. Trixie started but nothing came to her mind.

"Uhhh."

"Soooo."

"Yeah."

"I guess....that happened?"

"Yes, well, uhh what was it you told me before? Try to not think about it and you'll live longer?"

"Yeah, let's just finish our breakfast."

"Yes let's"

So with that little situation over they resumed eating in silence again. When they had finished eating Twilight got up to bring the plates to the kitchen and place them in the sink, but as she walked trough the doorway she heard Spike call out. "No wait!" But it was too late Twilight was already in the kitchen and looked down and her eye started twitching. "U-ummmm T-twi are you ok-" But he didn't get to finish before Twilight was coming down on him like a hawk.

"YOU BROKE THE PLATE I GOT FROM THE BAAHAMAS!" If Spike hadn't backed up against the wall he's sure that Twilight would have throttled him for breaking her plate, that she stated. "Is the only souvenir that I own."

Spike put his arms out with his hands open with a pleading look on his face. "Twi wait, I'm sorry, I'm sorry I-I-I swear it was just an accident!"

"Spike you know how much I care about that plate, I got that after we went on vacation in the Maribbean and we never went on any vacations before that, that plate is special to me!"

It was at this point in time that Trixie decided to walk into the kitchen to see what all the yelling was about. "Twilight what's going on in here?" She asked with slight concern.

"Well, Twilight is mad at me since I broke her souvenir plate from the Baahamas." Spike said still a staying away from Twilight for the time being.

"Well, why don't you use magic to fix it, I mean you still have all the pieces together, right?"

Twilight lost all anger that she had and was immediately replaced with embarrassment, her ears folded back and she had a bright blush on her face when she turned to face Trixie. "Hehheh Iiiii may have forgotten about that when I got mad." Trixie just rolled here eyes as Twilight fixed the plate and put it back on the hooks on the wall. "Okay there all better...ummm sorry about freaking out on you Spike."

"Awww don't sweat it Twi, I'd get the same way if someone broke the ruby I gave to Rarity."

"Yeah I guess so, so...hug?" Twilight asked with outstretched arms and a small smile.

"Yeah, okay." Spike walked over and hugged Twilight, after some time Trixie butted in.

"Awww isn't that sweet." she said tilting her head to the side.

Spike and Twilight separated from the hug after a reasonable amount of time. Twilight spoke up first. "Well let's get the dishes done without breaking anything else this time." She said with a smirk.

"You better be ready Spike because I'm not so sure she'll let you live that down Spike." said Trixie.

"Ugh, tell me about it, I can just see it now." Spike rolled his eyes as they got to cleaning.

After the last of the plates were washed and put away everyone retired to the main part of the library. Spike went to sit down n the chair on the opposite side of the sofa where Trixie and Twilight were sitting in. Twilight turned to Trixie with smile on her face.

"So, what do you want to do today since the library is closed and you don't have to work?"

"Well I was wondering if we could go back to Rarity's boutique to see if I can get something else to wear, something more like for going out somewhere you know?"

"Ohh I see, you want something to catch Vincent's eye huh?" Twilight giggled at Trixie's flustered face.

"N-no...but it couldn't hurt could it?" Trixie replied back shyly.

"Nope, alright we'll get ready and then we can head out, sound good, oh Spike do you want to come with us?"

Spike chuckled. "Do you even have to ask?"

Everyone went to there room to change and go to Rarity's place. it wasn't a bad day out, it was decently warm and a nice breeze, another perfect summer day.

"Ahhh I love days like this, not to hot, not to windy, it's perfect." Twilight stretched her arms outwards.

"Yes it is a nice day out today, wouldn't you agree Spike?" Trixie asked the drake strolling along behind them.

"Yup, it is nice." He said while putting his hands behind his head.

The three friends continued their walk to Rarity's place walking slowly to enjoy the day. A they neared Spike walked up to the door and knocked and his eyes widened when he remembered the last time he stood to close, so he put his hand out to prevent the door from hitting him in the face again only for the door to open inward this time and with him falling on to the floor of Rarity's shop in a heap.

"Oh Spike." Rarity shook her head and made a 'tsk tsk' sound. "when are you ever going to learn to not get hurt when you come over darling." As Rarity leaned down to help up her drakefriend he answered her.

"Dunno Rares, but at least your door opens inward now, that's a plus." He said with a half grin.

"Ahh yes, Big mac came around when I asked Applejack if he could help me fix a door so now it works fine."

"Well then I guess I'm going to have to thank him sometime." Spike said after dusting himself off.

"Well if you're going to do that you should do so before this Tuesday."

Spike looked at her confused. "Why would I have to do that?"

Rarity looked like she was practically about to explode with excitement. "Because he asked or dear Fluttershy out on a date!" She practically screamed.

Spike wasn't the only one that was surprised because they all answered back. "HE DID!?"

"Yes, he did indeed and Fluttershy, oh the dear, I hadn't seen her that excited, that is until she remembered who was asking her out, she accepted in her quiet voice and than left for home. I can tell you I haven't seen that mare fly as fast as she did until then."

Twilight was about to say something when she heard a distinct voice come from inside. "Rarity, come on! I don't wanna have'ta sit here for too long. It's already embarrassing as it is."

"Of course, coming darling! Come on in you three." She beckoned them in and closed the door and made her way back to her design room.

"Was that...Rainbow?" Twilight asked to herself.

I think so." Said Spike.

"Well we'll never find out by standing here now will we Sparkle?" Trixie started off for the room with the others in tow. Upon entering said room they walked in on the sight of Rainbow Dash getting her hair done by Rarity, the latter sporting a light blush from having her friends walk in on something that she said she would never let Rarity do to her.

"Wha-what'er you guys doing here?" Dash Stuttered.

"We were coming over for Trixie because she wanted to ask Rarity for some new clothes. What are you doing here?"

Dash wiggled in her seat uncomfortably. "It's for a stallion I like."

"I'm sorry what was that, I didn't really hear that?"

"It's for a stallion." She muttered just a little bit louder.

"I still didn't quite catch that."

Dash finally deciding to get it over with. "It's for a stallion I like, ok!" Dash's blush was threatening to overtake her face and permanently change her fur color from cyan to red.

"Really!" Twilight was beaming, she heard from Rarity that Fluttershy was going on a date in a few days, now she's hearing from Rainbow that she likes somepony too. "Who is it, do we know them!?"

"Well, ummmm, you've seen them before." Dash shuffled around a bit.

"Really, I have, ohhhhh now I really want to know!"

"Uhhhh it's uhhh S-soarin f-from the wonderbolts." Dash's blush had subsided a bit now it came back at the mention of the stallion she liked.

Twilight was shocked but still happy for her friend. "Wow...really, well I'm happy for you Rainbow, are you going on a date with him?"

Dash nodded her head. "Yeah, we're going out to eat at a restaurant in cloudsdale and I wanted Rares here to give me a new manecut for our date, we're going this Tuesday so I just wanted to get it done and then see what other thought about it. Before you say anything I know what I said about doing girly things but, uhh i really like him so this is different." She said and crossed her arms, still sporting a blush.

"Well It's nice to see you and Fluttershy finally going out with somepony."

Dash turned to face Twilight. "Oh yeah, Rares told me about that when I came in, good for her, she deserves somepony to love her."

Everypony in the room nodded their heads. "Alllll right this got waaaaaaay too sappy." everypony laughed at Rainbow; she really knew how to kill a sappy atmosphere.

"Alright darling I'm done, I think you'll like this one much better than the last one." Said a smiling Rarity.

Rainbow got up and walked over to one of the many mirrors in the room and stared into it looking at her mane. After about a minute or so Rarity took a step forward. "Do...you not like?" The response she got wasn't what anypony in the room was expecting from the prismatic mare.

"Wow..I look...cute?"

Rarity had to blink a couple of times to regain her senses, as did the others before she spoke again. "Well of course you do dear, why Soarin will love it, and if he doesn't love you after you've changed your hair than he doesn't deserve you."

"I...uhhh...thanks Rares." Rainbow had a small smile on her face and the turned and went to hug her friend which was happily returned.

"Think nothing of it darling it's the least I can do for my friends." When they separated Rarity looked over at Trixie and asked her what she needed. "So Trixie what can I help you darling, perhaps a manecut as well?"

"Oh no nothing like that, although, the offer is appreciated I'm not looking to change my manestyle for now, I was actually wondering if you be willing to make me a new outfit?"

Rarity dropped off the scissors and comb she had at the table and walked back over to them. "Of course, was there something you wanted in specific?"

"Well, I was wondering if you could make something for going out?" Rarity seemed to not understand.

"You mean like just going out to the market?"

"Ummm no, not exactly, more like...on a date." That definitely caught her attention.

"Oh my goodness, you too Trixie, this is simply fabulous, now if only our dear applejack could let me do something with her hair maybe she'd get some more attention from the stallions in town, but this isn't about AJ now is it, hmmmm something sporty I think. how does..." And so began the process of having Trixie try on various outfits and having everypony's input on what looked good and what didn't.

"Huuuuuuuuh." Rarity sighed "Ok, whenever you're ready Trixie." Trixie came out from behind the screen and the last outfit.

"Soo, does it look good?"

Rarity looked as if they had found the right outfit for her. "Ohhhh I think we found the right one dear, don't you girls thinks so?"

Twilight and Spike nodded their heads but there was no response from Rainbow. When Rarity turned to look at where Rainbow was she found that she was fast asleep in a chair in the other corner of the room. Rarity then picked up a pincushion and threw it at her; of course she made sure there were no pins in said cushion before she threw it, after all, she didn't want to hurt her. When she threw it it bounced oh of Rainbow's head with a audible thud, and not surprisingly Rainbow awoke in a flurry of flailing arms and legs followed by falling out of the chair she was in which caused the remaining group in the room to snicker and try and hold back their giggles that were attempting to escape.

"Rarity! What the hay was that for!? I was sleeping and you scare...I mean startled me into falling out of the chair and onto the floor." Rainbow crossed her arms and had a pout on her face.

"Well, dear, While you slept WE were helping Trixie find an outfit for a future date hopefully. So what do you think?"

Rainboe looked over at Trixie for a bit before speaking. "Looking good Trix, just a little disappointed that I ain't with you, but, oh well."

Trixie stammered and blushed a bit. "Ummm, uhhh, t-thank you? Ummm, wait do you like mares too?"

"Yeah, nothing wrong with playing for both sides, right? Haha." Dash Smirked and continued to laugh at Trixie's expression. "Awww come on Trix ease up I'm after Soarin not you...unless you want in?" Dash wriggled her eyebrow's.

"DASH! Stop bugging Trixie like that...or maybe you do want to get in her pants too Rainbow, hmm?" Twilight was grinning wide from the looks on both her friends faces; priceless. Both were just babbling like idiots at this point.

"Uhhh...buuuhh...whaaa...aaaahh...duh?"

"Twilight, dear, that was horrible...but still funny, alright Trixie we found your outfit. "Come now change and I can put your new clothes in a bag for you."

As Rarity was off behind the counter talking with Twilight and putting Trixie's stuff away, Dash was talking with Trixie about something and then their conversation shifted towards bugs somehow.

"EWEWEWEW, oh no, no no no no no, I hate those things, they've got what looks like hundreds of legs and they're so wriggly and just, just, so disgusting." Trixie shuddered, she didn't want to imagine one of those things crawling on her.

"Ahhh, well, my little friend scoots likes those things, says they look cool or something, I dunno I don't like or hate them." Just as Dash mentioned that moment that Rarity and Twilight came walking over with Trixie clothes; also having overheard their conversation about bugs Rarity gave her input on the situation.

"Ohhh I can't stand those horrid creatures, always crawling all over everything thing, UGH! Disgusting." She made a face between a grimace and being disgusted at the thought of a creepy centipede anywhere near her. Then she saw one making it's way up Trixie's back and coming near her shoulder...and screamed, dropping the bag in hand onto the floor. "Rainbow get over here now! Trixie! Don'. Move. A muscle."

Dash flapped her way over to Rarity's side and began to question why she had yelled at her. "Rarity why'd you..." Dash than saw the bug on Trixie's back. "T-t-trixie. Don't move."

Now Trixie was really starting to panic. "W-w-why c-can't I m-move? T-twilight!?" Her eyes wide and her pupils the size of a pinprick, she was clearly very close to having a panic attack.

Twilight walked slowly to Trixie as if the bug on her were to suddenly jump from Trixie's back and on to her. "Trixie?" Twilight called out; which wasn't the smartest idea since Trixie turned her head slightly to look at her only to come face to face with said bug.

"Ah-ah-ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" She then proceeded to flail around trying to get the bug off of her while running around the shop, eventually Rainbow tackled her to the floor while Rarity held her legs to keep her from flailing so Twilight could take the bug off of her.

"Ew ew ew ew ew gross gross! Twilight opened up a window in the kitchen and tossed it out. "Out with you..Ugh! I can still feel it wriggling in my fingers." She shuddered and than made her way back to find Trixie on Rarity's infamous fainting couch in the fetal position crying and shaking while Rarity tried to calm her down. "It's okay darling, it's gone now...do you...want some tea to calm your nerves?" Trixie nodded her head slowly. "Okay, I'll be right back than."

Don't worry Trixie, I hate those things almost as much as you do if not the same, it took all my control to not just throw that thing into the air the minute I touched it." Twilight sat down next to Trixie and put an arm around her and Trixie leaned into her.

With a shuddering breath Trixie spoke. "I-it was s-so wriggly and, and, ugh!" she shuddered again.

This went on for about five more minutes and a cup of tea later before she calmed down enough, Trixie sighed and put the tea cup down on it's saucer. "Okay, I think, I think I'm fine now, thank you Rarity."

"Not a problem darling." Rarity picked up the cup and saucer and went into the kitchen to leave them there for washing later.

"Okay, I think I want to go home now."

"Yeah, I think that's enough excitement for one day. let's go Trixie, Goodbye Rarity!"

"Goodbye Rarity!"

Later Rares! Imma go show of my new manecut, cya Trix good look with your date." As the Rainbow mare was just about to leave before she turned back and came to a hover just in front of Trixie. "Oh and by the way, that outfit made you look 20 percent cooler...and hotter." And with that she flew off leaving a blushing unicorn and a giggleing alicorn. "Heehee, I think someone likes you." Twilight teased in a singsong voice while poking her shoulder. Trixie just coughed to try and rid herself of her blush.

"Hey Twi?" Twilight turned to look at Spike who was still by Rarity's door. "I'm going to stay behind alright, I'll be back around seven."

"Okay Spike, have a good time." Twilight winked at her 'little brother' and turned to continue walking home while Spike knocked on the door again only to be pulled in when Rarity saw who it was and close the door, only to have it open slightly and the sign be flipped to closed, so as not to be disturbed while she snuggles and spends time with her 'Spikey Wikey'.

"Okay Trixie, let's go home."

"Yes, let's." So the made there way home to relax for the rest of their afternoon and use the rest of their Sunday and wait for Spike to come home to cook dinner.

'This Is It' Or 'Here We Go' (part 1 of 2)

View Online

After last night Spike true to his word had come back home around seven P.M. to help cook dinner. With Twilight and Trixie's help they had it done fairly quickly. A simple sandwich for all of them since it was late already. Trixie was already on her way to work, having left at around 7:25 which gave her plenty of time to get there and relax a bit before it was time to work.

"Hey Trix!" Pinkie shouted from behind the counter.

"That mare sure is energetic in the mornings, I wish I could be like that." Thought Trixie. "And good morning to you too Pinkie." She replied back.

"You're here early, but that's good, that way you can eat something if you haven't already!...Oh! And uhhh sorry about yesterday, I totally should have tried to find you at Twilight' or at least tell her to tell you that I told her to tell you that you had off Sundays." Pinkie said, all in one breath, leaving Trixie a bit taken aback from that verbal bombardment.

"Damn...mares got a set of lungs on her, but I remember her being talkative last time before I...No! Don't think about that now, forget it, it's in the past, and whats more is they forgave you, hell they even offered their friendship to you. So lets just...what was I going to say?...Oh, right." Trixie thought to herself in her mind, until she realized she still hadn't responded to the bubbly pink mare. "Oh, it's quite alright I suppose." Trixie decided to poke fun at the mare. "Just don't let it happen again or I'll tell the Cakes that you messed up." But her plan to tease backfired on her. Within moments a sobbing quivering mess of a pink was at her feet with her arms around her legs clutching on for dear life.

"Oh please oh please don't tell them! I didn't tell them about how you freaked out or how I didn't go and find you to tell you that you had Sunday's off or that I was the one that burned that cake yesterday or...forget about that last one. But please, please..." Trixie just stood there blinking, unmoving for the longest time, completely shocked that the pony that was extremely happy no more than 5 seconds ago is now a mess in front of her...and it was because she wanted to tease her.

"Uhhhh! Ummmm! Uhhhhh, wait Pinkie I was just kidding! I wasn't really going to tell them anything! It was just a misunderstanding! Right?!" Trixie pleaded. To further make Trixie's head implode on itself Pinkie stood herself up and was exactly like she was like before that whole debacle started.

"Ohh, well why didn't you say so then" Suddenly back to her chipper self.

"Oh well, I'll never understand that mare I guess" Trixie thought as they both walked behind the counter.

"Okay, you're going to help me bake today and Mrs. Cake is going to man the register for today."

"Alright, sounds simple enough." Trixie thought.

Too bad it was anything but.

"No no no. You have to do it like this."

Pinkie was watching over Trixie's back as she attempted to frost a cupcake...badly.

"It looks all...I dunno, all poopy."

The cupcake did indeed look like it was pooped up by a fruity dog.

"Well I don't know how to frost a cupcake! I've never even baked before okay!" Trixie yelled out, clearly having fun with the situation.

"Yeah well I can....wait...you've never baked a cupcake before?"

"Yes Pinkie, never. I've never baked a cupcake, cake, pie, muffin. Nothing."

Pinkie looked to be deep in thought. Just staring off into the distance before turning to Trixie with a serious expression.

"Well I'm just going to have to change that then."

Pinkie spin around and skipped off to get another baking sheet and came back smiling.

"We'll bake some more cupcakes, and this time you'll make them all by yourself."

Trixie was about to tell her no when she was grabbed and yanked over to her and put in front of the sheet and a table with various bowls of ingredients. The look on Pinkie's face said she wasn't going to let her go until she made something.

"Alright then, If you insist."

Trixie proceeded to add and mix ingredients together in the big glass mixing bowl that sat in front of her.

~15 minutes later~

The whole kitchen is covered in splotches of batter, frosting and sprinkles. What used to be pink and azure furred ponies are now covered in various batters and frosting's from their many tries at baking something. To make matters worse Pinkie's party cannon was constantly shooting off loads of cake batter.

"I thought you said you DIDN'T load your cannon with batter Pinkie!"

Trixie yelled as she was caught in the splash from yet another blast from the cannon run rampant.

"I-I thought I didn't, like last time I accidentally shot Cranky in the face with cake batter instead of shooting him with confetti and having the oven give him a cake! Or like the time that I-"

"PINKIE!"

Trixie yelled at the baker.

"Huh, sorry, helping now!"

Pinkie frantically tried to plug up her cannon with a giant cork that she produced out of nowhere. Trixie didn't care to question though, all she cared about was putting a stop to the crazed thing blasting out uncooked cake substance.

Pinkie at last managed to plug up the batter blasting death machine and put an end to the living nightmare that was a goopy, sticky demon cannon.

"Okay...I got...it plugged...up now...we're good." Pinkie said out of breath, hunched or with her hands on her knees.

Trixie equally out of breath from running around the kitchen trying and failing to stay out of the way of the batter flinging monster.

"I think...it's over...now...let's just...catch our...breath for...a minute." Trixie put a hand to her chest and grimaced when she felt the batter squish when her hand touched it.

"Ugh...hey Pinkie?"

Pinkie looked over to see Trixie looking very uncomfortable in her messy clothes and realized that she must look the same and she thought to herself "We must look ridiculous." Wait she just asked me something, maybe I should see what she needs. She was broken out of her thought before she could respond by the sound of Trixie's voice.

"Pinkie? I asked you if you have any spare clothes I could borrow for today. I don't exactly have any spare clothes with me."

"Ohh, yeah sorry. Uhhmm I should have something for you up in my room. come one."

Pinkie and Trixie walked out of the kitchen and walked past Mrs. Cake who looked over and saw the state that the two mares were in and shook her head.

"Pinkie dear."

"Yyyyyeeeesssss Mrs. Cake?" Pinkie gave her a sheepish smile and blush, putting her arms behind her back she swayed slightly from side to side waiting for her to continue.

"Cake batter in your cannon again?"

"Yup."

"Got all over the whole kitchen?"

"Yup."

"You know what I'm going to ask you to do, right dear?'

Pinkie let out a defeated sigh.

"Yyyeeeep."

"Clearly this isn't the first time that this has happened." thought Trixie.

Both mares walked around the plump earth mare sitting at the register and walked up the stairs to Pinkie's room.

They began to get undressed and look around in Pinkie's closet for something that fit her. Surprisingly her underwear was spared. Somehow.

While they were busy finding clothes the door leading to the shop opened up and the little bell at the top of the door chimed, signaling that there was a customer. Mrs. Cake looked up to see none other than Vincent, the town's resident human.

"Hello there dear, How can I help you today? Looking for a sweet treat?"

Her voice soundly as motherly as ever.

"Ohh, no, not right now. I was actually wondering if Pinkie was around?"

"Oh she just went up stairs to get changed, had another mess in the kitchen."

"Haha, cannon?"

"Cannon." Repeated the mare.

"Alright thanks, imma' go see if she wants any help cleanin' up, I don't have anything to do right now so I wouldn't mind helping out."

"Thank you dear. Thanks very sweet of you." She smiled warmly at him. "She should be done changing by now."

"Okay thanks Mrs. Cake."

Vincent started ascending the stairs and as he reached the top of the steps he saw that Pinkie's door was open, walking towards it he figured he'd forgo knocking since he assumed that if it was open that it was safe to walk in.

"Hey Pinks ya in there!?"

Vincent walked through the door way.

"I was wondering if...you...need...ed...uhhhhhhhh."

The sight that was before him made his brain shut down and explode. It was the sight of Trixie with a shirt only half way past her breasts and in a purple bra and matching panties.

"VINCENT! G-G-GET OUT!"

Trixie screamed at him, with her face turning crimson in color from the sheer embarrassment of having a male, more importantly a male she liked, seeing her basically one article of clothing away to being naked.

"I...uhhh...I...uhhhh, s-s-sorry I-I-I'll just g-go, s-sorry!"

As Vincent turned to leave he ran into the door frame, hitting his head and stumbling back before he attempted to leave again, this time through the doorway with pinkie close behind him closing and locking the door to prevent any further moments like that one from happening again.

Pinkie turned around to see Trixie on the bed side with her face buried in her hands; her face still as crimson when she noticed that he had seen her nearly naked.

"I can never, ever, show my face to him again." Trixie's voice was muffled by her hands.

"Oh come one, he didn't mean to walk in on us getting dressed."

"I know! But the fact it is that it was embarrassing."

Trixie took her face out of her hands, by then her blush had considerably reduced, and fell back on to the bed.

"Oh is that all?" Pinkie giggled mirthfully. "I'd take it as a compliment, he just couldn't take his eyes off of you Trix."

Trixie looked at Pinkie with a semi-confused expression.

"I'd even say he thinks your beautiful."

Pinkie said smiling, but not her usual gigantic smile she gives new ponies or her friends. No, this time she had a small smile but it carried forth what she was trying to convey, and Trixie understood her.

"D-Do you really think so?"

"I know so."

Trixie stared at the ceiling, deep in thought.

"Thanks Pinkie, but where did that come from? All that just doesn't seem like...well you."

"Ohh, well my talent is making ponies happy or cheering them up, so I do that anyway I can, even if it mean being a little less 'Pinkie' as you say."

Trixie nodded and smiled.

"Well, like I said, thank you."

"All right enough of being moopy...Doopy? Ahhh, guess not everything makes sense."

This got a laugh out of Trixie.

"Pinkie...you are so random."

And they both broke out into a fit of giggles.

"Let's get dressed you silly-filly."

After getting re-dressed after their little battle with a possessed party cannon, they made their way down the stairs where Vincent was still waiting for Pinkie to return.

When Vincent heard footsteps he turned around and froze instantly.

Trixie was fairing somewhat better then him since she could look directly at him while Vincent was looking at the floor rubbing the back of his neck.

"H-Hey Trixie." Vincent stammered out. "S-Sorry that I uhhh, sorta walked in on you...ya'know."

"I know Vincent, it's alright, I forgive you, after all we did leave the door open so you didn't know."

Vincent was relieved that he didn't just make Trixie want to avoid him. It definitely would have made this next part for him harder to ask her.

"Ahhh yeah, ummm." Vincent gulped just loud enough for him to hear, his nerves on edge, waiting for the response to his question. "I was uhhh wondering if you uhhh wanted to come over for dinner tonight?"

"It's okay if you don't want to go though, I'd understand." Vincent added very quickly.

Vincent was about to say something else but Trixie cut him off.

"Sure." She said with more confidence then she thought she had. "I'd love to."

Vincent was trying oh so desperately to hide his excitement that Trixie accepted his invite to dinner.

"Oh, uhh, alright uhhhh, soooo does six o' clock sound good?"

"Yes, that's fine. I"ll see you tonight then?"

"Yes, you will. S-So uhh cya tonight Trixie."

Trixie watched him walked out the door, watching carefully as the door closed behind him clicking shut and then...she let out a squeal of excitement and started hopping around like a little school filly who was just told by a colt she like that they like her back...actually she thought, that's exactly what happened.

"OHMYGOSHHEINVITEDMETOHISHOUSEANDWE'REGOINGTOHAVEDINNERTOGETHERAND...and...and...oh my goodness I'm feeling a little light-headed right now, I think I should sit down."

Pinkie walked over to her as she took a seat in one of the booths.

"Well, it looks like YOU have a date tonight."

"Yes, I do...oh my goodness, I have a date tonight...I, HAVE A DATE TONIGHT! I HAVE TO MAKE SURE I LOOK PERFECT AND, AND...MY MANE...RARITY! I CAN ASK RARITY FOR HELP, I-"

Pinkie put a finger on her lips; cutting her off.

"Relax Trix, it's going to be fine...tell ya what, go on home and get ready for your little date with Mr. Handsome."

Trixie stared at her in disbelief.

"I, I, Thank you Pinkie."

"Don't thank me yet, now go and do what you have to do to get your man!" Shouted the the ball of energy that was Pinkie.

"Okay, I'm going."

With a determined face Trixie stood up fro the booth and made for the door, opening it and rushing out without looking back for a second; clearly too excited for her date.

"Go get'em Trix." Pinkie quietly said before closing the door and going back to the counter only to suddenly remember the state that a certain room was in.

"OH FOR THE LOVE OF-"

The front door closed cutting of what Pinkie was about to say next.

'This Is It' Or 'Here We Go' (part 2 of 2)

(The talking between both Vincent and Trixie during the date portion won't have much of a descriptive to it. I’ll color code them to make your reading lives easier. Red is Vincent And Light Blue is Trixie.)

Trixie ran all the way back to the library with her head set on getting ready for her date that night. Without even taking into consideration with who might be behind the door before flinging it open, she simply burst in nearly taking it off of it's hinges in the process and narrowly missing Spike's muzzle.

"Woah! Easy there, kinda don't want to get hit in the face again Trixie."

Trixie hadn't notice Spike behind the door when she had just stormed through it.

"Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry Spike. I was just a little, umm, excited."

Spike raised an eyebrow at her, wondering why she could be excited. Then he remembered that it was only around ten in the morning and Trixie works mornings with Pinkie. "Hey, how come you're home this early? Don't you work mornings down at Sugarcube corner?"

"Hmmm? Oh yes, well, normally I do but today there was a bit of a sticky situation and I had to borrow some clothes from Pinkie."

"Oh, okay, that explains the very pinkish looking clothes."

"Yes, well, it was all she had that fit me well. Oh and I have to get ready for something since Pinkie gave me the rest of the day off."

"How come?"

Trixie blushed lightly. "Well Vincent asked me if I wanted to have dinner over at his place. So I'm going to get ready for tonight."

"Huh, well okay then. Have fun."

Spike made for the front door, walking past Trixie, but stopped at the threshold and slightly turned his head and spoke again. "Oh and make sure you use a condom."

The sound of Trixie just standing there stuttering and completely unable to speak made Spike burst into laughter and walked the rest of the way through the door.

Trixie could still hear his loud guffaws through the door. Her face bright crimson. "Ohhhhh, that insufferable dragon. *sigh* Doesn't matter, I still have a date to get ready for."

Trixie made her way up the stairs to her and Twilight's room to get the clothes she got from Rarity yesterday.

She pulled out the shirt, making sure that it wasn’t wrinkled from when they put it in the bag. Next she pulled out the blue jeans and placed them next the shirt. That was everything in the bag, but Trixie felt like she was forgetting something. “Oh! The shoes!” Trixie reached underneath the bed for the shoebox that Rarity had given her as well.

She was having a rather difficult time getting a grip on the box since it kept sliding around every time she touched it, making her stick out her tongue slightly in concentration. At last she got a grip on the box, barely, and pulled it from under her bed.

Inside were a pair of Ponidas, Azure in color just like her fur. The shirt and jeans were from Rarity so they were the Boutique’s brand, Chic and Magnifique was the name on the tags on the underside of the hems.

After Trixie got dressed in her new clothes she walked over to the mirror by the vanity near Twilight’s bed and looked at her new appearance.

“Not bad I suppose. I certainly filled out nicely again, I blame Spike’s cooking, I swear how does Twilight do it, she practically vacuums everything edible in sight and I don’t see her even gain a pound! How is that even remotely fair!” Trixie said aloud.

*Grrrrrrrr*

Trixie looked at the clock in the room and saw that it was close to eleven in the morning. “Hmmm, I suppose I could go for an early lunch, after all, I did eat fairly early this morning.”

Trixie was about to walk out of the bedroom before turning back around and made for her bed again. “I should probably change back to my old clothes, wouldn’t want to get them dirty for tonight now would I?” Trixie thought.

“I do have to go to Rarity’s as well, so why not ask her if she wants to come have lunch with me?” Trixie place the clothes inside the bag after neatly folding them up again. “Okay, now to Rarity’s.”

“Hey Octavia can you help me out here?” Vincent called out for the Charcoal grey mare who was sitting at the table watching him struggle slightly, as he was trying to do what looked like 20 different things at once.

“What ever do you need help with Vincent?” Octavia said smugly as she walked over to his side and watched as he almost knocked over a bowl of...something, she had no idea what it was that he was making.

“Uhhhh, I need you to get me the chopped vegetables that are in the fridge please.”

Octavia walked over to their fridge and grabbed what he needed along with the last piece of the cake he had baked a few days ago. “Here you go.” She said giving him the bowl.

“Thanks, oh and you should take it easy on the sweets… you might get pudgy.” Vincent said with a light chuckle at the end.

Octavia did not think this was funny. “I-I’m not getting fat!” But she still lifted up the bottom of her shirt and poked herself to see if she was in fact getting on the chubby side.

Vincent walked over to her and poked her in her belly, making her squeal and jump in her seat. Octavia glared at Vincent as he chuckled to himself. She pouted and puffed out her cheeks slightly and crossed her arms. “It’s not funny...jerk.” She said with a hint of redness in her face.

“Oh just eat your cake fatty.”

“I AM NOT FAT!” She then proceeded to eat said cake.

After some time Octavia turned back to Vincent; no longer upset at him for his ‘fat’ joke. “So what exactly are you making again?”

“I’m making pasta primavera, it’s a mix of penne pasta and a mix of chopped carrots, zucchini and squash.” He said as he put the mixture into a pot to cook.

“Oh man that sounds good!” Vinyl’s head popped up from the side of the doorway.

Vincent chuckled. “Well it is good, you two can get a plate when it’s done but leave enough for at least two more people...err, ponies; gosh you think I would have gotten this whole speech thing down after being here for a while now, haha.”

“Yeah, you still need to work on that. We know what you mean though, but other ponies from somewhere else might not.”

“Yeah, yeah I know that, you don’t think I know that? Well I know that you know that I know that you know that I know that. You know?”

Vinyl’s glasses had slipped down her face to reveal a pair of very confused red eyes. She shook her head, almost launching her almost fallen pair of shades from her face. “Argh...I hate it when you do that Vinny.”

“Yeah, I know, but that’s why I do it. Gets me a good laugh every now and then.”

“Yeah, haha, very funny, I’m glad that my headaches, which you cause by the way, are so funny to you.” Vinyl said with a deadpan look on her face.

“Yes and he called me fat.”

Vinyl looked over at Octavia and snickered a bit. “Well, I mean.”

Octavia’s face blanched and she shot upright out of her chair. “Don’t you start with that too! I AM NOT FAT!!!!!!

“Man if her voice would have been any louder I think that she could give Luna a run for her money”. Thought Vincent as he returned to his cooking as the two mares behind him were butting heads...literally, he could have sworn that he heard the sound of skull impacting something.

He just shook his head a chuckled. "And they say I’m bad."

~~~~
“Trixie darling I’m glad you came to me to, shall I say, spruce you up for tonight’s little outing with our dear friend Vincent.”
“Thank you, I really appreciate this.”
“Think nothing of it dear.” Rarity said as she pointed her fork at Trixie.
Both Trixie and Rarity were sitting outside one of Ponyville’s many diner’s eating and talking.
“Come darling, let’s eat and we can go back to the boutique to get you ready for your date.”
Both mares made small talk as they eat. How their days has been, the usual, useless stuff when you just want to kill time.
By the time they got to her shop they had gotten on the subject of Trixie and how she got a date with Vincent.
“So do tell, When did he ask you?”
“This morning actually, I mean he was just asking me to dinner at his house but-”
Rarity grew stiff and spun around so fast you’d think that she was channeling Pinkie Pie in the moment.
“C-Care to repeat that darling?”
“Uhhh, I said...that he asked me this morning...and-”
“THIS MORNING! THEN WE HAVEN’T A MOMENT TO LOSE THEN! QUICKLY COME INSIDE WE MUST GET YOU READY!”
Trixie was pulled into the shop before she could utter a single word and thrown behind the changing screen.
“Hey! careful I almost, oh dear Celestia!”
Rarity reappeared moments later with her bag and levitated out her clothes and almost literally ripped her out of her old clothes and dressed her in her new ones, all the while Trixie shrieking and yelping as she was tossed and turned with Rarity’s magic.
“I could have gotten dressed myself you know.” Trixie said with a little pout on her face.
“Uhh hehe, sorry dear I uhhh seem to have gotten carried away for a moment.” Rarity grabbed Trixie’s hand and lead her upstairs to the same room that they had been in when Trixie came with Twilight. “Now, let’s get your mane done!”
Rarity plopped Trixie into a stool in front of the mirror. They went through a bunch of different manestyles, none of them really clicking with Trixie’s outfit. Rarity decided to go for broke and tried one last time.
“Well...it seems this is to be a recurring theme.” Said Rarity as she turned Trixie around to have her look in the mirror.
What she saw wasn’t bad.
( )
"It...looks nice, I mean I certainly doesn't look bad."
"No, no it doesn't dear. Although I wish you would have let me give you braids, you looked positively gorgeous."
Trixie gave Rarity look that said 'not going to happen'. "While I appreciate that you think I would look good like...that. I don't like it, the ponytail looks much better if you ask me."
"Hmmm, I suppose it does. What time did you say he asked you to come over?” Rarity asked as she put the brush and other objects away into the vanity.
“He said six o'clock, what time is it now?”
Rarity looked at the clock and saw the time. Her eyes went wide and she spun around on her heel to look at Trixie.
“It’s five-thirty right now. You’d better hurry dear, wouldn’t want to be late to you first date with him now.”
“You’re right, and thank you for helping me today, even though you quite literally almost ripped me out of my clothes earlier.”
Trixie walked over to the fashionista and gave her a hug, which the unicorn returned in kind.
“You are very welcome darling, now go on, run along to your little date.”
Trixie turned to leave and said. “Wish me luck.”
As she cleared the doorway Rarity muttered out under her breath. “You won’t need luck dear.”
~~~~

Vincent was just finishing getting the plates out of the cupboard and placing them down on the table.

“Okay that should do it. now just to,” Before Vincent could finish his sentence, the doorbell rang. He looked over at the clock and freaked. “Shhhiiit, man I should’ve been paying attention to the time, it’s already six o’clock.”

Octavia and Vinyl had already eaten and were upstairs, probably in their own food comas judging from how much they ate.

“Wow, I’m glad I made so much.Oh Christ the door!” Vincent ran for the door but he bumped his foot against one of the chairs which entail, made him bump his elbow against the corner of the doorway as he passed it. Trying very hard to resist the urge to cry liquid sadness. Men did not cry...they teared up.

As he reached for the doorknob, only one thing went through his mind. “I’m going on a date with Trixie.”

~~~~
“Okay, I can do this, no time to get nervous now...even though my stomach feels like it’s doing back flips right now” Trixie said with slight panic in her head. Very slowly, almost tortuously so, she reached out her hand to ring the doorbell.
Ding-Dong
Trixie stood there for fifteen seconds. “Maybe he didn’t hear it? Or maybe he just forgot? Maybe I should just,” The door opened, cutting off Trixie’s train of thought. She could only notice how out of breath he was.
“Are you alright there Vincent?” Trixie asked him, feeling some concern for him.
Vincent just straightened up and waved off her question. “Yeah, totally fine.” He clenched his jaw as his elbow suddenly sent a jolt up his arm. Trixie didn’t seem to notice it though.
“Come in, come in.” Vincent stepped to his side to let the unicorn through. “I like the new manestyle by the way.
Trixie blushed a little at his compliment “Thank you.” Trixie walked in and looked around the main room. “It looks, and feels quite nice in here.”
“I uhhh, got dinner ready soooo, whenever you’re hungry.” Vincent said as he rubbed the back of his neck.
“I see I’m not the only one who’s nervous.” Trixie smiled at him, which seemed to ease his nervousness a bit. “We can sit and eat now, if you like.”
Vincent nodded and motioned to the dining room, which also served as the kitchen. “Mares first.”
“Why thank you Vincent, such a gentlestallion.” Trixie walked over to one of the chairs at the table and was about to sit down until Vincent came up from behind and pulled the chair out for her. "Thank you Vincent.” Trixie sat down and he gently pushed the seat in towards the table.
Vincent made his way to his side and sat down. “I hope you like it. I went out and got fresh ingredients today.”
With that Trixie picked up her fork and skewered a few of the vegetables with some pasta and brought it to her mouth, only to have her eyes pop open wide. “Oh my goodness,” Trixie chewed a bit more and then swallowed. “this is good.” Trixie stabbed some more of the food on her plate and enjoyed it this time.
“I’m glad you like it Trix.”
Trixie stopped chewing, which caught the attention of Vincent.
“Is uhhh, is everything alright?” He asked.
“Oh! Yes, everything’s fine, it’s just that, you’ve never called me anything other than by my full name.”
“Oh, uhh, s-sorry, I just-”
Trixie that is was rather cute how he was fretting over that. “It’s alright, I don’t mind...I actually kind of like it...It feels...different coming from you.” Trixie said with a hint of a blush on her face. Vincent’s was looking the same as her’s.
Vincent and Trixie slipped into the first date small-talk. The usual asking of how the other person/pony’s day went, to how they’ve been.
"So, how are you liking it here so far in Ponyville?"
"It's very peaceful, compared to other places."
"Hmmm, I heard you were in Manehatten for a while, how was that city?"
"It was crazy, I'll give it that much. Ponies pushing and shoving past you, just to get to a store that was no more than a few feet in feet in front of them. I tell you, city life is over-rated."
"Haha tell me about it. I used to live near a city, sure it was nice having a lot of stores fairly close to you, but, that was something that I always hated."
They finished dinner a little bit after and had moved form the kitchen to the living room. They continued to converse on the sofa and relax so as to let their food digest a bit.
"Just out of curiosity, where did you get your jeans?"
"I got them from Rarity's shop. Why?"
"Well...they look good on you."
Trixie blushed, Vincent was complementing her again, but it wasn't her mane this time, it was her figure. "O-Oh thank you." She had a small grin on her face as she suddenly got very interested in the floorboards. "What do I say back?
Trixie stared into his green pools for eyes and just got lost in them. "I-I like your e-eyes."
Vincent was mesmerized by her deep purple eyes as well. "And your eyes are..." Vincent's head started moving closer to Trixie's
Trixie took note of this and began doing to same. "Yes?"
"More beautiful than the stars in Luna's night sky."
And with that final comment their lips finally met in what felt like a flurry of fireworks.
Vincent moved his hand to behind Trixie's head and placed it just behind her ear.
Trixie lightly gasped at his touch but quickly fell in love with his gentle touch. She brought her arms up and wrapped them around his neck lazily. Vincent did the same with his other free arm and brought it around Trixie's waist and slowly he fell back onto the sofa, bringing her with him.
Trixie moaned lightly against his lips and her eyelids were fluttering from the pleasure she was feeling from kissing him.
Trixie was enjoying the kiss but alas the body needs oxygen, so she had to break away from the heaven that was Vincent's lips. Both of them breathing pretty hard. Vincent was the first to speak.
"T-That was,"
"A-Amazing."
"yeah."
They brought their foreheads together, Trixie being careful with her horn so as to not hurt him. She let out a sigh, not out of exasperation but of peace.
"I-I don't know if it's just me but...did you think for a minute that maybe we were going to far for the first date?" Trixie asked with her head still touching his.
"Yeah, but it just felt so-"
"Right?" Trixie finished for him.
"Yeah." He said in a hushed voice.
Trixie stayed perfectly still and quiet laying on top of Vincent before she remembered something. "I didn't leave a note for Twilight telling her where I was going to be tonight." Trixie's head left Vincent's, leaving his forehead bare of his azure companion.
"Does anypony know where you are?"
Trixie thought for a second before she realized that three of her friends knew where she was. "Oh, I suppose that somepony knows, I did tell some of my friends where I was going today. One of them could have told her so she doesn't worry about me since it's already so late." The clock above the fireplace in the room red eight-thirty five.
"Here, let's stay like this for a while longer."
Trixie and Vincent laid on the sofa snuggled up against one another.
Octavia and Vinyl were at the top of the stairs spying on them, each with a smile on their face.
"I know that they would get together sooner or later, and on the first date too. I suppose you were right Vinyl."
The DJ mare had a smug look on her face. "Did I tell you, or did I tell you 'Tavi?"
The grey mare simply rolled her eyes. "Yes, yes you did. Now, let's give them their space."
"Alright, let's go to bed then. Night 'Tavi."
"Goodnight Vinyl."
The two musicians left for their rooms, leaving the new couple to their snuggling. Alone in the living room, with nothing but the sound of their soft breathing filling the room. This date only one of many in their brand new relationship.
Wubbin' All Night Long
View Online
It's been about six month's since their first date, Trixie and Vincent couldn't be happier. At the moment they were both helping along with decorating the inside of Twilight's library for Hearth's Warming eve. Trixie was currently hanging some ribbon around the tops of the bookshelves; trying to make them a little more festive. Vincent was helping Decorate a tree that they had put up in one of the corner's of the room. The tree was a regular old spruce, but it was decorated in all sort of items. From Colorful round ornaments, to golden tinsel. The golden tinsel was obviously Rarity's idea, but it seemed to work for the tree better than it did for the sweater she had tried to make for Vincent. That was definitely something.
~Earlier that day~
"Hey Rarity, so you needed me for something?"
Rarity turned around when she heard his voice pierce the silence in her shop. It had been a slow day for her, seems that ponies were going to other stores and buying presents other than clothes. She didn't mind though.
"Ahhh yes, I called you so you could see," Rarity spun back around to grab, what Vincent told Rarity in the most polite way he could, that the sweater that she was holding was by far the ugliest thing he had ever seen. "this!"
"What the heck is that thing!?" It was never said he was going to be subtle about it, and that was as polite as it was going to get. She was lucky he didn't curse, she would have had to explain to her sister who was in the next room over why she should not repeat those words.
Rarity didn't know what he was pointing and yelling at, so she turned around looking for whatever had made yell as such. When she found nothing she turned to look back at him and was about to ask what it was that he yelled at when she noticed his stare was directed at the article of clothing dangling on her fingers.
"Really now?" Vincent just made a grimace. "Oh come on, I wanted to make a line of clothing with the whole Christmas flare and I wanted to make it with all the things you described that are used during the holiday season!" She said excitedly.
"Well unless you are making that for an elf I don't think I'll wear it."
Rarity glared at him with a look that said. "Say that again I dare you."
"Okay fine, if you make a different one in, oh, say an hour, I wear that one...no glitter, tassels, or anything overly intricate."
~ Present Time ~
"I still can't believe she did it." Vincent said with his head hanging.
"I'm not surprised she did it though. After all that is her talent, so why wouldn't she be able to make on quickly...especially since she wanted to teach a lesson."
Trixie giggled into her hand after looking at Vincent's depressed looking face. Rarity seemed to think it was funny as well and was giggling next to Trixie.
"Oh come no dear, you looking nice in it."
"Ugh, I never liked sweaters anyway, but, since you did make it, I thought it would be rude to not wear it...and, plus I did kind of promise to anyway."
Trixie walked up and hugged him from behind. "That's really sweet of you Vinny." Trixie kissed his cheek and let go, walking over to where Fluttershy was to help her set of the rest of the room.
So Vincent, Trixie and the others continued to furnish the room with holiday items, making it look more festive.
"Well it looks great."
"Better than me?" Trixie said crossing her arms and putting a cute pout on her face.
Vincent turned to look at Trixie and hugged brought her in for a hug. "Of course not Trix."
"Ahem."
Both Trixie and Vincent looked over at Rainbow and saw her point above them. What they saw was a mistletoe suspended above them in a lavender aura.
"Well Vincent aren't you going to-mmph!"
Vincent cut her off with a passionate kiss. Both of them held their kiss for a good long while before they separated, a little string of saliva connecting their lips together.
"kiss me." She finished.
"I already did," Vincent kissed her again. "one more for good measure."
Trixie was just captivated by his green eyes again, and was reluctant to move away from his embrace until.
"Come on Trix, ya' can't be stuck to him all night...you know unless uhhhh." Rainbow smirked and wiggled her eyebrows.
Trixie and Vincent both blushed at the mention of that. neither one had really thought about that for a while. The last time either one did they just agreed on 'when the time was right for them'.
There was a knock at the door, which made the pair separate and Twilight walk over to answer it.
When she opened it she squee'd and threw herself at the stallion in the doorway. Said stallion was Flash Sentry.
"Flash!" Twilight shouted and then enveloped her stallion in a big hug.
"Hey Twilight, I told you I'd make it today."
"Mmmhmm."
"I wouldn't miss this day for the world."
Twilight and Flash stayed in the doorway until another voice came from outside.
"Hey come on dude it's freaking freezing out here."
Rainbow's ears perked up immediately. She knew that voice all to well, and who it belonged to.
"Soarin!" Dash flew out the door past Twi and Flash so fast she was a blur and collided into Soarin, knocking them both into the snow, letting out a small 'Omph' as they land.
"Hey, I missed you too, babe!"
Now normally calling Dash 'babe' would get you a very painful fist to the face or other body region, but with Soarin, she loved it when he called her that.
"Hey yourself." He said before kissing her, ruffling her mane a bit. Rainbow was still wearing her hair in a ponytail since the day of their date, which by the looks of it went very well if they are still together.
While they were still on the ground, another stallion walked in and received a hug form a butter yellow Pegasus, that Pegasus being Fluttershy.
"Howdy Flutter's."
"Hi Mac." Said Fluttershy as she looked up at him. She loved being him his arms she always felt so safe in his embrace; she knew that he could easily crush her. Fluttershy knew he wouldn't of course.
After they said hi they leaned in for a kiss of their own.
All three couples were kissing until.
"AJ! Hey AJ! Over here!"
AJ looked past the other couples and saw her respective stallion jogging slightly towards the house.
"Sugarcube, ya' made it!"
Applejack ran over to her coltfriend, Thunderlane.
"Hey 'sugarcube'"
Applejack giggled at his use of her nickname. Even though she uses it for all her friends it still makes her blush when, he, does it.
"Well aren't ya' gonna kiss me?" She said with her eyes already half closed.
"Of course, my little farm girl."
Now AJ and her coltfriend were kissing along with the other. Meanwhile Pinkie was bouncing around, very happy for her friends.
"COME ON EVERYPONY LET'S GET INSIDE AND CELEBRATE ALREADY!"
Everypony stopped and looked at their respective others and then laughed at her hijinks, but headed inside as the pink hyper mare said.
The party was in full swing, Vincent was doing his thing with the music. Of course it was dubstep, what else does he play, after all he does work with Vinyl so it's no surprise.
"Alright you guys and girls get ready for this next one."
Vincent shifted over to his laptop that he had for doing this and selected another mix from the list.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goWyZZpCm3o&index=3&list=FL_RmRqQvR4f-VKF3RX4UXtg
There was a collective 'WOOOOO!" from the crowd, as they all started moving their bodies to the beat of the music that was thumping out of 'DJ Vizzy's' speakers, as he liked to call himself now whenever he and Vinyl preformed. Even Twilight was dancing to the music, and it was ten times better than her dancing at the gala all those years ago.
Everypony was moving, jumping, and shaking. Even Rarity was dancing to it, and boy could she move. She didn't even seem to care that her mane was getting mussed up, that's how much fun she was having, that and she was with Spike.
"Vinny!" Shouted Trixie over the the loudness of the speakers.
Vincent turned his head to look at Trixie was panting slightly from all the dancing she had done. "What's up babe!?" He shouted back.
"Come on down and dance with us Hun'."
"Alright, gimme' a sec', I'll be right down there."
Vincent went back to his laptop and selected another song but put a delay for when it should start so that it would give him enough time to get to the 'dance floor' as the main lobby of the library had turned into.
"You guys are gonna like this one." Said Vincent as he got to the floor.
Exactly on queue the music started playing.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NV6Rdv1a3I
Vincent started dancing with Trixie, as did all of the other couples. Pinkie was just bouncing all over acting like a general twit, but hey so was everyone else so why not join in.
"It's time to get lucky."
With everypony moving to the throwback of a song that Vincent was playing at the moment he decided to sing along to the music after Pinkie tossed him a mic.
Like the legend of the phoenix
All ends with beginnings
What keeps the planet spinning
The force from the beginning.
We've come to far
To give up who we are
So let's raise the bar
And our cups to the stars/
Vincent gave a small nod, which all the guys there knew was the signal to jump in with him. They had been told by Vincent a few days ago that he wanted to do this song in the party, it didn't matter when but he was going to do it at some point during it.
They all rushed up to him, surrounding him, with drinks in there hands and started singing with him.
She's up all night to the sun
I'm up all night to get some
She's up all night for good fun
I'm up all night to get lucky.
We're up all night to the sun
We're up all night to get some
We're up all night for good fun
We're up all night to get lucky.
We're up all night to get lucky
We're up all night to get lucky
We're up all night to get lucky
We're up all night to get lucky
All the mares were a little bit red in the face from the song since, well, it's the holidays and there's a lot more than just presents to give this holiday. The guys gave their mares a wink and started on the next verse.
The present has no ribbon
Your gift keeps on giving
What is this I'm feeling
If you want to leave I'm with it.
We've come to far
To give up who we are
So let's raise the bar
And our cups to the stars/
She's up all night to the sun
I'm up all night to get some
She's up all night for good fun
I'm up all night to get lucky.
We're up all night to the sun
We're up all night to get some
We're up all night for good fun
We're up all night to get lucky.
We're up all night to get lucky
We're up all night to get lucky
We're up all night to get lucky
We're up all night to get lucky
When the guys finished singing, the mares all clapped for them and gave each other a kiss. Each stallion's eyes widened a bit from what their mares told them. It seemed that Vincent was getting the same treatment.
"Vincent, when we get home, you are not going to sleep right away."
Vincent only chuckled until Trixie gave him a lustful look that told him she wasn't kidding. Vincent just swallowed loudly, or as loudly as he could with the music back to it's bass-ridden track that it was playing before.
Vincent backed away to go and resume his DJ'ing when Trixie pulled him into a deep passionate kiss that lasted for about a full 30 seconds before releasing him.
Vincent, being utterly and completely flustered, walked back to the booth and got back into his record spinning. The rest of the night went just about the same, except now the mares where a bit more 'frisky' with their stallions. They were rubbing up against them more and wrapping their tails around them, even Fluttershy was doing it, of course Big Mac was even redder than a, well, himself at the moment, what with Fluttershy's adorable and sexiness through the roof at the moment. This went on for about the rest the night, up until they opened gifts and left for their respective homes, most likely to give their special someponies a 'special' present.
"Ohhhhh, Vincent." Said a very familiar, and extremely sexy sounding voice.
"Yesssss, Trixie?"
Trixie hugged Vincent from behind, pressing her chest into his back, letting him get a full fell of her breast squished against his back, making him blush as red a Big Mac.
"When you're done, we should get home, for your 'present'."
Vincent took a shaky breath as Trixie just barely brushed her tail against his crotch and pressed her chest against his back harder before letting go and walking over to the front door to wait for him.
Vincent looked at the equipment that was put away and thought for a moment. "Naw, forget it, I'll get them tomorrow." He only had one thing one his mind, and that thing or pony as it was, was Trixie. Vincent Said by to Twilight and Flash who were waiting for their friends to retire back to their home, before Twilight pulled Flash by the collar of his shirt the moment that Vincent and Trixie left, and closing the door.
"Ahhhhh, good to be back home, huh."
"Yes it is." Said Trixie she she came in through the door right behind Vincent.
Vincent was about to say something before Trixie spun him around and captured his lips in a kiss, wrapping her arms around him. They stood there for what felt like years until they finally broke the kiss.
"Do you want to shower with me, Vinny dear?"
Vincent couldn't even form words at the moment, all he could do was nod his head, which caused Trixie to giggle cutely only adding to Vincent's growing blush.
"Alright then, come on." Trixie grabbed a hold of his wrist and began dragging him up the stairs to the bathroom in their bedroom.
They had moved in to a new house that had recently been built for anypony looking for a new home in Ponyville and Vincent and Trixie had bought it. It was a nice little house, decently big, but not too small either. Their bedroom was actually pretty big. There was room for a Princess sized bed, two nightstands, a desk that held all of Vincents things that he used to make his music.
Trixie was just pulling Vincent into the bathroom when shew started to remove her clothing, causing Vincent to blush madly.
"Vincent, be a dear and turn the water on for me."
He did just that, if only to try and make his blush go away, only for it to come right back when Trixie hugged him again from the back, though this time he could feel something different.
She was naked.
Vincent being a guy, his body was responding in the only sensible way possible. By sending blood down south.
"Teehee, Vincent dear, what's the matter? Cat got your tongue?"
Vincent swallowed and responded as best he could. "N-N-No, I ummm, I was just a l-little caught of g-gaurd." To which Trixie giggled cutely at again.
"Is that a mic in her pants or are you happy to see me." Vincent didn't know what she meant until he looked down to see himself pitching a tent in his pants.
"Uhh heehee, well, it's just that, well, you know, you are kind of naked right now."
"Well why don't you hurry and get undressed and get in the shower with me."
Without saying another word, Trixie walked into the shower, leaving a very red and very excited Vincent standing just outside the shower. Not wasting a minute more Vincent stripped down and entered the shower, completely unaware that he was bumping into Trixie. It wouldn't have been so bad if not for the fact that, one, they were naked and, two, he was now propped up against the wall by his hands and staring Trixie in the eyes with a certain part of him poking her in her mid-rif.
"U-U-Uhhhh, I uhhhhhhhh."
"S-Sorry, I didn't know, I mean..."
They just stood silent under the running water. Vincent staring at her slick, wet mane sticking to her neck and back, giving her a very sexy and alluring look. Trixie wasn't fairing any better. She was looking as his chest and abs glisten in the water. Now Vincent wasn't 'ripped' nor was he by any means weak looking, he was toned, and Trixie was liking what she saw.
completely forgetting what had just transpired before, the both of them started drifting closer and closer until their lips met. Now they had kissed many a time, but they had never done so in the shower.
They had been missing out on so much.
Trixie moaned softly into the kiss causing Vincent to bring up his hand and caress her cheek softly, which in turn made her lean into the kiss even more. Trixie wrapped her arms around him, one of her hands on his head, her fingers running thru his hair, with Vincent doing the same to her. Vincent started to move his hand that was resting on the small of her back further down until it came to rest on Trixie's flank, and gave it a light squeeze that caused her to moan louder into his mouth. If only air wasn't necessary they would have keep kissing each other. Breaking from their tongue battle, they were panting and had a little line of saliva connecting their lips together for a moment before it broke.
"T-That was,"
"Yeah,"
"hot?"
"very."
"..."
"..."
"I think we're done with the shower."
"Yeah, let's get get out of here."
"Yes, I had something else in mind we could do."
Vincent's brain knew what she meant, but he was still trying to fully understand what was going on, even to this moment. 'Trixie wants to actually go that last step with me...tonight. Oh boy..'
Vincent couldn't understand why he was nervous but he was.
When they got dried off and got back into the bedroom, Trixie dragged him over to the bed where she pulled him into a kiss once more. This time getting a little more heated than the last one. Vincent's hands were going up and down her back, caressing her and feeling her fur in between his fingers. Trixie was moaning louder in into his mouth, letting him know that she was enjoying what he was doing. She was caught a little off guard when Vincent squeezed both of her flanks on her cutiemarks making her break away from the kiss and release a small gasp of pleasure.
"Ooooooohhhh, Vinny."
Vincent responded to his nickname by pushing her onto the bed and crawling over her, making her face erupt into a darker blush.
Vincent started kissing and nipping at Trixie's neck making her let out throaty moans every so often. One particular nip making her hiss in pleasure and then moan as he kissed and licked the area he bit.
Trixie was in heaven right now, Vincent's nipping and kissing was something else. She was in ecstasy.
"V-Vinny, p-please." She begged, and he knew what she meant by that. He started to move his head further down until he was directly in front of her breasts. Trixie's chest wasn't big, but it also wasn't small by any means. Trixie had breasts that Vincent had called perky yet sexy, and he had also mentioned how he liked them better that way. Of course they weren't naked and rubbing up against each other like they were now so he never saw them bare until now.
"Aaaaaaahhh!" Trixie gasp out as Vincent latched on to one of her nipples and began suckling it and tweaking it with his tongue as the other was busy being massaged and pinched by his other hand, sending her arousal to even higher heights.
Trixie's tongue was lolling out of her mouth as she gasped and writhed under his minstrations. Her body moving all on it's own, not even a single bit in control because of how much he was driving her crazy with all the new sensations.
Vincent slowly began to let go of her nipples and breasts and began moving down some more until he was at her awaiting crescent, which was soaked in her arousal. Vincent took in a breath of her scent which sent shivers down both Vincent's and Trixie's spines. Vincent's, because he was getting even more excited from her scent, which was making his erection twitch, and Trixie's, because she was anticipating what was about to come, and she certainly was going to come if what how Vincent was preforming tonight continued.
Without any warning, Vincent went down and gave a long, slow lick from the bottom of her slit, almost tonguing her backdoor, and all the way up to her clit which was twitching form pleasure. Trixie let out a long and throaty moan. She was not at all familiar with the feeling of anything touching her down there, other then when she washed herself.
This was entirely new. The way his tongue dug slightly in between her folds and massaged her sensitive nub drove her crazy.
"V-Vi...Vincent!"
Vincent knew what her cry's meant. If the way she was breathing more shallow and taking in quicker breaths, than she was about to reach her peak, and he was going to get her there.
With one final idea popping into his head, Vincent plunged his tongue as hard and as deep as it could go into Trixie quivering marehood.
"VINCE!"
With one final scream from Trixie, she arched her back and threw her head back against the bed as she orgasmed. Vincent kept his mouth firmly placed against her marehood, catching every last drop of her sweet nectar, not wanting to waste a single drop of it. He was also still licking her, trying to prolong her climax.
Eventually after what felt like an eternity, Trixie collapsed onto the bed where she laid limp, panting and gasping for air like she just ran a marathon.
Vincent crawled up until he was level with Trixie's head, Trixie weakly turning her head and being brought in for a kiss. She could taste herself on his lips and tongue, but that only served to excite her once again. She could definitely feel Vincent's excitement against her leg at the moment.
Breaking the kiss Vincent looked into Trixie's eyes. "So, did you like that?" He asked in between breaths.
"Yes, but I think you liked it just as much." She said as she shifted her legs to rub up against his member that was poking her.
Vincent let out a shaky breath as her legs' fur tickled and sparked a jolt up his spine.
"W-Well, what can I say, you know other than that I think you're really beautiful."
"That is so corny, Vinny."
Vincent shut his mouth with a little smile on his face.
"Well I didn't tell you to stop." Trixie said with a cute pout on her face.
Vincent chuckled at her facial expression, and then grabbed her flank and squeezed, eliciting a little squeak from his mare.
"Vinny?"
"Hmm."
Trixie looked deep into his eyes, watching the little light in the room dance of his gorgeous green eyes.
"I-I'm ready."
Vincent gulped and looked back into her equally mesmerizing deep purple eyes.
"Are you sure? You we can stop if you're not sure."
Trixie smiled back at him. "Yes I'm sure Vinny, I'm very sure that I want you to be my first."
At that Vincent shuffled around a bit until he was angled just right. The tip of his member just grazing Trixie glistening slit, making them bout groan and moan form the simple little touches they were sharing. Vincent knew that Trixie was a virgin long before tonight, but the prospect of actually taking something like that. It made him just a tad bit nervous.
"It's going to hurt a bit, for just a little while at first."
"I know. I trust that you would never hurt me on purpose."
Trixie said to him with a sweet and loving smile on her face.
Vincent leaned in and kissed Trixie deeply before starting to push into Trixie marehood, making her gasp from the insertion. She wasn't used to having anything inside there, which made her hiss slightly from a little bit of discomfort and from pleasure from having Vincent inside her.
Vincent kept on pushing until he hit a thin membrane. He knew what it was, and so did Trixie. She was trembling from slight fear of the pain and also from the fact that he had a little bit more than the tip of his penis inside her. With a gulp and one final thrust from Vincent, he completely hilted himself all the way inside her. The silence broken by a cry of pain from Trixie, as she clung on to hi for dear life.
"I-it h-hurts, I-It really h-h-hurts-s-s-s." She lightly sobbed into his shoulder.
The fact that he caused Trixie to be in pain made Vincent heart break a little bit, but he knew that it was inevitable so he just did the only thing he could do. He stayed perfectly still until he got his loves go ahead.
They stood still for another minute of so, until Trixie spook again, with a slight tremble in her voice.
"Y-You can m-move now."
Vincent nodded his head and ever so slowly began to pull out, making Trixie grunt a bit, as she still felt slight discomfort still, but she endured it.
Vincent only had the head of his erection inside her when he thrust back in, hitting all the way deep inside her making her let out a groan in mixture of slight pain and pleasure, though the pleasure was actually starting to override the pain substantially.
"G-Go a little f-faster Vinny."
So he did, thrusting a bit faster, in and out, getting a little bit faster each time he thrust back in. After about a minute Trixie was moaning loudly as Vincent rammed into her tight love canal.
"Oh Vincent, it feels amazing, don't you dare stop."
"Wouldn't *grunt* dream of if *grunt* love." He said, never once stopping his hips movement of thrusting himself deep inside her, almost reaching to her cervix.
Trixie was loving every single minute of their special time together, so much so that she got an idea and decided to act upon it. With out warning so managed to catch Vincent of guard and managed to push him up and on to his back, still with him buried deep inside her. Trixie was now straddling a very dumbfounded Vincent.
"I think you've been doing all the work so far, and I feel like you deserve a reward for making me feel so good."
Without so much as another word Trixie started bouncing up and down on his hard shaft, putting a hand on his abs for support as she did it. The feeling of his member reaching all the way to her second entrance making her let out small grunting noises and squeaks of happiness. Only for her to let out a squeal when she felt her lover grab a hold of her breast again and begin to squeeze and pinch at her nipples again.
"V-Vince!"
"Trixie, I'm gettin' pretty close." He grunted out.
"I know, me too," Trixie stopped moving altogether. "I don't want it to end just yet."
"Yeah...hey Trix? Can you get off and turn around and face the headboard?"
Trixie complied without a word and removed herself from him, letting out a small groan as she missed the feeling of him deep inside her. She turned around and dropped onto all fours and looked back at him.
"Like this sweety?" She said with a hint of lust in her voice.
"Yeah, now just," Vincent thrust back into her, making her squeak and bite her lip as she felt him slam all the way back inside her. "there we go. Ready babe?"
Trixie nodded her head, and then began what could only be described as Fluttershy once said rather bluntly one time. "Humping like rabbits." Nopony was prepared for that little snippet from Shy. Still that is the best way to described what went on for the next ten minutes or so.
The both of them constantly changing positions and changing the force and rhythm of their hips moving against each other. The sounds of moaning, grunting and the sound of hips meeting echoing throughout the room.
"V-Vinny, I'm going to-to mmmmmmmaaaaaahhhhhhhh"
"Trixie, I'm close, I'm about to-"
"Inside! I want to feel you finish inside for you first time!"
Vincent thrusted into her a few more times before he felt her clamp down onto his member with an almost vice-like grip, desperately trying to milk him for all he was worth.
That was the last straw, as Vincent finally hit his peak as well, grunting and moaning in unison with his mare as he shot load after load deep into her receiving womb.
After another minute or so, which felt like another whole eternity, Vincent pulled out, being completely spent and flopped down with Trixie onto the bed panting and breathing heavy.
Vincent had Trixie in his embrace as they calmed down from their climax, and Trixie loved being held by him. With out a word Trixie gripped the edges of the covers and maneuvered them under them and then on top of them.
Trixie wriggled around in her lover's hold until she was face to face with him.
"That was wonderful."
"Yeah, Trixie?"
"Hmm?"
"I love you."
"I love you too."
They put their foreheads together, Trixie being careful of course, so as not to poke him with her horn. She let out a sigh, not out of tiredness but out of relaxation.
"Vince?"
"Yes, Trixie?"
Trixie was silent for a few seconds before the spoke again.
"I'm really glad I met you."
"You know what? I'm really glad I met you too. I've never been this happy before in my entire life, then when I'm with you."
Trixie let loose a few mirthful giggles before responding.
"You're so corny when you get affectionate you know?" Vincent smiled at her "But that's why I love you, you make me smile and laugh. Whenever I was sad you cheered me up and I've done the same for you as well. I'm also really happy that our first date went well from the very beginning."
"Oh yeah I remember that. What did I cook again?"
"I believe it was some pasta *Yawwwwwwwwn* we should probably get to bed. I'm feeling really tired all of a sudden."
"*Yawwwwwwn* yeah, we should. Good night Trixie." He kissed her just at the base of her horn."
"Goodnight Vince." Trixie said before snuggling deeper into his chest and letting out one more sigh before succumbing to Luna's dream realm.
Vincent wasn't far behind, as he fell asleep to the feeling of her warm body and her heartbeat next to his own.
Both Trixie and Vincent waiting for the next day and whatever it would throw at them. because they were a team, an inseparable team.
