The purple unicorn was a bit worried about her friend and tried to find her face which was perfectly hid underneath her beautiful,pink mane. "Hey,don't worry.We all know that she's happy as much more than we all are.She'll do anything for us to help.After all,you know she'll be sad if she sees you being more shy than usual." Yellow pegasi looked at everyone and just mummbled:"Yes,I know". Other ponies looked at her with a confusion,while purple unicorn came and hugged her just at the moment somepony wanted to say something. Pink maned pony started crying. "She did not deserve that! I wish I was there to help her",she was yelling while her crystal,almost invisible tears were falling down her face. They beautiful Pink pony came as fast as she could,now standing on the front door. "Puff....sorry....If I am late....Uff...Those cupcakes I made are so freshy-fresh that you can eat right now!See,there are all in your shapes and colors!We have some pink ones,white,purple,blue,orange and finally yellow ones!Oof...Sooo...Whatcha say,uh,huh?Aren't they looking so freshy-fresh and delicious?",the Pink pony was so hyper that after all that talking just looked at the right and see the yellow pegasi sitting with her head down.She came closer to her and looked at her with big blue eyes,curiously searching for her friend's face covered in that big,shiny mane. "Hey...What's the matter,silly filly?I thought you liked my cupcakes.....",pink one said with a small grin on her face,yet having some sad cracking in her voice. The yellow one looked at her kind friend,and finally decided to speak. "Umm....Yes,I do like them....but that's not the reason..",she tried to pull out something she wanted to say to her very special friend,but the thoughts in her head couldn't make her be as assertive as she could be with her lovely animals. "Im just.....", Everypony heard the big smash as their friend ran away from them and that made their pink friend to be even sadder. *I don't know If I did something wrong....Fluttershy wouldn't miss my cupcakes... * In Pinkie's mind was a big mess up,and she knew she needed to do something. After some time,the other ponies left the Sugarcube corner. Pinkie was in her bedroom,all alone. And it happened. Again.
Pinkie woke up more sleepy than usual.Her hair was wrinkled,and her eyelids were quite heavy.Tired of all that thinking about some unexplained stuff,she rose up from her super-duper party bed and went to get breakfast.As she was going downstairs,she noticed small object she has never noticed before.it was small crystal balloon blue colored,which she got from her very best friend,Fluttershy during celebration of their first year of friendship. That made Pinkie cry. Oh! How could I forgot about this? She bummed on the ground,hugging the thing tightly,starting to remember that beautiful day.
The day of their friendship.
Pinkie shook her head and left the thing on her desk. The breakfast was ready.Like the other parents Mr.and Mrs.Cupcake were looking after the babies and they didn't notice Pinkie at all.After finishing the breakfast,Pinkie went outside,as the Sunlight was filtering through the all houses in the Ponyville,and made all ponies bring the smile up,she did not laugh.Going with her head down the street,she bumped into someone. "Oooh....Im sorry ma'm",Pinkie rubbed her head and finally looked at someone's big,turquoise eyes.
"Fluttershy?"
"Oh,Pinkie.Im so sorry.Oh,and Im ssso sorry for being rude yesterday,really.I mean...I was...uhm..Im so sorry.."
"It's alright sillyhead.You have probably some problems at home,that's all".
"Uhm..n-no...ow,yes...Yes I did"...Fluttershy couldn't tell her the real reason.
Pinkie is glad that she sees her friend happy again.After all that fury yesterday,she turned up the smile on her face again.And then,she noticed small crystal butterfly that Fluttershy was carrying in her bag.
"Oh...you still have it...You didn't lose it at all..." Pinkie pointed on it,and Fluttershy just replied with smile.
"Yes,Pinkie Pie.I'll never lose it.It represents our first year of friendship,remember?"
"Yes.Yes I do."
Oh Flutters...If you only knew how much I love you....
They hugged for a really long time and then Fluttershy finally let her off.
Pinkie felt something that never felt before.
But....Did Fluttershy feel the same?
"Oooh okay,Pinkie...I need to go,really.See ya around!"
Pinkie waved at her friend with a big smile.
"GOODBYE FLUTTERSHY! ILL NEVER FORGET YOU!" And then,she sighed.

On the other side,Fluttershy was going home singing very cheerful song Pinkie taught her.That song reminded her on how hard is being a smiling pony,cheering the whole town up,and being a party planner for everyone.She sat on the nearest bench she could find.
Oh,Pinkie....If you only knew how much I love you....
Both ponies sighed at the very same moment.
Yellow pegasus made the lunch for Angel,the delicious cherry top salad,and when she finished it she went to have her afternoon nap,but strong knocking upset her,so she hastily ran to open the door.She could see everyone with weird looking party hats and incredibly hilarious masks they were wearing.
"Hey Fluttershy!Want to have amazing slumber party at Twilight's?Come one! We all are waiting for you...Hmm...Now let's tell Pinkie too!" said furiosly Rainbow Dash as she was quickly grabbing her soft friend and everyone were following them to the Sugarcube corner. Pinkie was playing with Gummy in her colorful room when Rainbow,as much as the others slammed the door and asked Pinkie if she wanted to join them.
"YES! oh boy,oh boy oh boy,Im so excited,I can't wait tonight!" "Ok,cya at Twilight's then",Rainbow Dash winked,and everyone left the store.
Pinkie really couldn't wait to be in there.The atmosphere will be amazing,the music,the party streamers,the drinks,pillow fight,everyone's dancing...It's going to be amazing!
But instead of all that Pinkie wanted,the things might turn out into another way....
*Knock Knock*,somepony was knocking on the front door of purple unicorn. “Who is there?”,asked Twilight,and as she heard cracking voice,she smiled. “It’s me sillyhead,your friend Pinkie Pie!” “Oh,yeah,come in Pinkie.” Pinkie looked all over Twilight’s house’s enterier but she wasn’t really happy to see that there were no decorations at all.It was not what she was hoping for,so she looked at Twilight’s face over and over again to be sure if there’s any sign of what she was hoping for. Twilight shook head. *Oh…this is not what I hoped for…* Immediately after she anxiously staring at darkened,barely decorated room,Twilight placed her to one small,distorted chair.Pinkie sat and suddenly encountered 5 happy faces looking at her with some lame party hats Twilight had.She looked at everypony and hugged them all. “Oh,guys,don’t you know that Im sooooo glad that I see you all gathered there!” Everypony hugged her back,while Twilight was searching for some book,she said.When she came back,Pinkie couldn’t believe that she had every single book for every single thing,which kinda made Pinkie even more confuzed than usual. The cover of the book was about parties and how to make the best ones.Pinkie couldn’t believe that Twilight didn’t believe her.She’s the best party pony in Ponyville,after all.It made Pinkie to be a little bit angry. “RULES OF SLUMBER PARTYING.” She said firmly, and as she started to read the first rule, Pinkie stopped her. “Twilight!What is this?We don’t need such an old book to tell us how to make a slumber party!You have me!I’ve brought all the cool stuff for the awesome looking party!Look,I have party-streamers,cool party hats,even I brought some apple cider I’ve brought today!Drink on,everypony!Yeah!” Pinkie was enjoying in her speech,and as she showed her other friends the big,full bottle of Apple cider,everyone stuck their tongue out wanting to drink ,and drink and drink…..
Twilight started to wave her arms to stop her from talking,and when she finally stopped,the pink pony looked at her furios friend. “PINKIE,WE HAVE NO TIME FOR THAT!ALSO,THIS IS NOT THAT KIND OF PARTY,YOU KNOW?I GATHERED YOU HERE TO HAVE SOME NICE SLUMBER PARTY NOT SOME WILD,PINKIE MADNESS..AND IF YOU WANT TO HAVE YOUR PARTY,GO ON,BUT NOT IN MY HOUSE!”,Twilight was sighed of rage. The other ponies were looking at her with unknown face expression,and 4 ponies tried to calm her purple friend down. Pink pony felt hurt and the resistance in her chest couldn’t hold the pain she felt through Twilight’s words.The crying was louder,and she ran away from them. Rarity looked at Twilight and scolded her with a sharp look. “Honey,what was that?What happened to you?”,she held her head and lifted it up while giving her some worried look.”That is not Twilight we know,that’s somepony else!Why did you say that,Twilight?” Twilight shook her head and Rarity let her off. “Oh no,what have I done?I know it ain’t right,but sometimes I feel like Im sick of her parties,but I would never tell her like that.I just couldn’t handle the fury anymore.But I really didn’t mean to hurt her!” “SOMEPONY CALL HER TO COME DOWN AND JOIN US,AND TWILIGHT YOU BETTER APOLOGIZE!”,Rainbow Dash was yelling and Applejack was about to shut her mouth.
“One thing Ah won’t understand about you,Rainbow Dash,is that you ar’ always acting like my little sister”. She gave her some serious look,on which Rainbow just laughed. “I…I’m going to see if Pinkie is alright.”,said Fluttershy. Lightly, slow-walking, Fluttershy managed to come to a room where was a small pink pony.It was dark, but the light that came from the outside covered area of her soft, curly hair that is almost deflated due to inner unrest.Pinkie was sitting with her head down,covered with small,blue blanket,sobbing quietly,and thinking that she was all alone, speaking deep thoughts she was keeping for herself.The only thing Fluttershy could hear from far away was: “I don’t know if my friends understand me anymore….Was my friendly life a lie?A big,dumb lie?”…. Pinkie was crying louder and suddenly she felt somepony’s warm,soft hoof wrapping around her. She could hear some soft spoken words coming from behind: “Hey,don’t worry….Everything is alright.You know that we all love you of who you are.Twilight didn’t mean to yell at you.You mean to us a lot.You mean to ME a lot.I ‘ll never let you go.” At those words,Pinkie was speechless for the first time in her life.She looked at her yellow friend with deep smile,while the tears has shed were almost gone.She hugged her and started laughing laying Fluttershy down on bed. “Oh,Fluttershy.You’re such a really,really,really good friend.” Fluttershy blushed.She didn’t know what to do but to hid her face under Pinkie’s body,strongly hugging her back.Pinkie was happier than ever especially that she has special somepony right under her.Pinkie came closer to her shy,beautiful pony and wanted to make the first step,but then she remembered that she hasn’t told Fluttershy about her feelings yet.She shook her head and left Fluttershy lie down for some moment.
Pinkie was staring at Fluttershy,who was looking so innocent with her cute,soft face and her closed eyes.Pinkie wanted her so bad.But she didn’t know how Fluttershy feels. Fluttershy has finally opened her eyes. “What’s the matter Pinkie?Why are you staring at me?Was it something I did?Was it …”. Pinkie put hoof on her mouth and smiled. “No.” “I have to tell you something.But,I wasn’t sure if you…are feeling it just like me”. “Ohh…What is that Pinkie?” Fluttershy had a really small grin on her face,while getting up and sitting right next to Pinkie. Pinkie finally decided to look Fluttershy,while touching her face,then neck and body.That gave Fluttershy a blush,but she was strongly enough to keep up with Pinkie. “I don’t know how it happened,but it did somehow.When I saw you walking down the market,you were looking shinier than ever.I was watching your gently walk,then when you were talking to other ponies,not only us,but the others too…Then I saw for the first time how beautiful you are actually.And then my feelings were awakened for you….I…” She cleaned her throat and continued “I love you Fluttershy.I love you more than anypony else.But…Im still afraid…You didn’t give me any sign…So…” Pinkie held her head down,but Fluttershy lifted it up,and looked it while her heart was beating.She was watching pink pony for a moment,and slowly kissed her with her eyes closed.
“I love you Pinkie.I was afraid to tell you too.I didn’t know how would you react,oh my.Now Im feeling a lot of better.Im a coward.I will never do anything first.” Pinkie laughed a litle. “No silly.You are not coward.You’ll never be coward.I know a lot of ponies in this town and I am 100% sure that your bravery is still not shown yet.Because being shy doesn’t mean you are coward.Let the other ponies talk whatever they want,but as long as you are with me,no pony is going to say anything bad to you,I Pinkie promise!” Then they hugged each other.It was like the best night ever for them,and sure was a long night…. But…. They didn’t notice that the door was opened the whole time,and that one pony has heard everything they had said. It was Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash couldn’t believe in what she has heard at that moment.Getting her jaw dropped,she stared at two little ponies with disbelief. *this is not real,this isn’t happening*,she thought. She rubbed her eyes and looked at them again.Hiding behind one simple shelf,she could hear their laugh and softly kisses they have given to each other.As she was going down to convey Twilight and the others that Pinkie is completely fine,she tripped over small thing,which was there randomly.The slam has reached to two little ponies,who remained stiff and not even knowing that there was somepony watching them,but they continued talking. Rainbow Dash stood up,panting and making some painful grimace and flying over the stairs getting to Twilight and two remained ponies. “What kept you up so long?Where are Pinkie and Fluttershy?What is happening,Rainbow?”,ask Applejack suspiciously. “U-umm…N-nothing,really….They are up there,just having a chit chat,you know,hehe….That’s what you always do on your work,Applejack…” Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash with disbelief,revealing her new expression that scared Rainbow Dash a little. “Applejack,darling...Im sure it’s not something you should be ashamed of!We all do it sometimes,sometimes it is just a need.”Rarity said with sour grin on her face while drinking her last sip of her favorite tea,glancing at Applejack. While four friends were talking about past events that happened in Ponyville,the two other ponies were still in that small,warm room chatting about their stuff covered with cotton made blue blanket, up above their bodies.It was too comfortable,which added some special atmosphere up.Playing under blanket,they were touching each other softly,looking at each other with blessful feeling in their body.The kisses were quick,but long enough to feel some warm,unexplained feeling,that they couldn’t stop doing it.Fluttershy was lying on Pinkie,brushing her sweet,cotton candy pink hair,and kissing her in her forehead.Pinkie was thinking about something,then she looked away from Fluttershy and her smile has gone for a moment. Fluttershy got nervous and let her pink marefriend off. “What’s wrong,Pinkie?I thought that you’d feel great with me…..I thought you’d like this….I thought…you cared about me…Do you even love me?”,Fluttershy squeaked,but Pinkie quickly grabbed her hoof and determinly glanced at her,deeply took a breath and said: “No,Fluttershy.Im not feeling great with you.I m not either even like you…Nor I do care about you….And don’t ever question if I love you…Because… …. IM ALWAYS,ALWAYS,ALWAYS FEELING SUPER-DUPER WITH YOU….I DO CARE ABOUT YOU,MORE THAN YOU THINK.I DON’T LIKE YOU,BECAUSE I LOVE YOU SO MUCH,THAT YOU CANNOT IMAGINE.DO I LOVE YOU,FLUTTERSHY?DO I LOVE YOU? OF COURSE I DO,MUCH MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE IN THE WORLD,EVEN MY FAMILY.YOU’RE SOMETHING NICE THAT HAPPENED TO ME SINCE I MET ALL OF YOU.” Pinkie cried,but Fluttershy hugged her tightly and cried along with her. “Oh,Pinkie pie….You’re the best thing in my life….I’ll never let you go.Ill never try to hurt you…I’ll always be there for you,to be by your side.Even if you might not be right sometimes.I love you,Pinkie pie.I love you”. “I’ve been,I am and I’ll always be there for you too,Flutters.Ill try to help you,to protect you.You mean everything to me,sillyhead”. Pinkie look away in the corner,and say: “Only one thing is bothering me,and that is how to tell this to others.They may not understand our love,they may afraid of this.Maybe they won’t want to be our friends anymore….Who knows?Im so afraid”.
Fluttershy hugged her more tightly,telling her that even if that happens,they will survive no matter how hard is going to be to them to accept the truth. …. The other ponies except for Rainbow Dash were clueless what Pinkie and Fluttershy were doing up there.It took them some time,and Twilight glanced at Rainbow Dash,who was having a nervous smile at the moment. “Rainbow Dash,shouldn’t haveyou brought them here?What in the world is going on?Im sure Pinkie is fine by now,and I am ready to appologize”. Twilight looked at Dash grimly,expecting the feedback,but when she saw that Rainbow wouldn’t move a muscle to say a word,she went to check the thing out. “N-no!Wait,Twilight!I-I need to tell you something important.Pinkie’s fine,really!And Fluttershy is in bathroom,you know,it’s not like she’s been with Pinkie covered up in the room together..Eh-heh….”. “Huh,what?” Twilight was now real confuzed and looked upstairs,realizing that something’s going up there,getting up from the chair and going to check out what’s happening. Rainbow Dash stopped her at her very first step and push her off telling her that it’s fine up there. “Uh,Rainbow,this is my house,and Im going to go wherever I want!So,please move out of my sight and calm down!Sheesh,like you’ve seen a ghost or something…” But Rainbow did see something,and that something might be a really big thing for everypony. “Yeah,you’re right.Im sorry Twilight,who am I for stopping you in your own house.”
She sadly looked at her,knocking her head down and went to sit with others. Twilight managed to get in the room,but she could only find Fluttershy sitting and watching the beautiful moonlight,forgetting about time and place in which she was. She got scared when he heard a voice from behind herWhen she turned around, she could see her purple friend, watching her with confusion and looking around trying to find Pinkie. “Fluttershy,what are you doing here all alone?And where’s Pinkie Pie?Shouldn’t she be with you,you said you’d check her if she’s alright.I really do need to appologize to her after I’ve been rude to her.” The bathroom door was strongly oppened and Pinkie jumped out jumping around Twilight so happily,having a cheerful expression. “Oh,hey Twilight!Don’t mean we forgot about the super-duper party you ponies have down there!We’ve just had super fun talk,and I think that it was really,really,really fun!And about the appology,it is completely fine!I know you’re wasn’t in mood there,but I didn’t mean to lit a fire on it.” “Ok,Pinkie.Will you two get there?We have some awesome stuff to do!” “Ok,just a moment Twilight!”,said Pinkie happily,hugging her loved marefriend,waiting for Twilight to move just a little bit just to kiss her softly. When the two of them finally came down,they could see four bored faces drinking the cold tea,chatting about not so important things,but to kill a silence. “Oh,you two finally came back!What took you guys so long?I was kinda worried”,Rarity looked at both of ponies with worry. “Oh,that’s nothing.We’ve been having some conversation…But we’re here now,right?”,said Pinkie happily.

Rainbow carefully looked at Fluttershy’s cheerful face,as she’s eating some cookies left on the small,yellow plate Twilight put after. Applejack slightly yawned,wich caused everyone to do so too. “Well,guys,it’s time for some sleeping!” “G’night Twilight,g’night y’all.” Everypony lied very close to each other,holding the hands like a true true friends would do. After all,they were a true true friends,right?
The morning had already dawned,and Pinkie could feel as the sunlight’s going through her eyelids.She mumbled something,getting up slowly not trying to wake her friends up.The smile on her face was getting widened as she looked at only a small strand of somepony's lush mane.She put her hoof on her chest and she could feel the warmth underneath and a desire to prove herself…. To be herself again. Pinkie came closer to a pony with a blue blanket,a little bit uncovered her and drilled her snout in her soft,fragrant mane. She was passing over her face,slowly touching her neck and then again returned to her face, where carefully licked her. Then a small, yellow pegasus suddenly woke up and was about to scream, but she was stopped by her dear marefriend with her gently hoof. Pinkie had a small grin on her face when she carefully watched her, and then, she abruptly turned around when she heard the the others are waking up. In Twilight’s house was complete chaos, every simple thing was thrown starting from books, glasses, plates to small colorful things, and they were just staring pale into what exactly happened in front of them. Rarity was the first one who commented on this incredible sight. “Twilight,dear,what has happened to your house? This simply MUST be cleaned right now! Like there were those ugh…Diamond dogs and rushed everything! I’d be glad to help,of course”. Twilight hasn’t even paid attention on what was her white coated friend was saying,so she nodded witout thinking. Now that everypony was completely awakened,they start cleaning up the big mess they made,and the sun which was highly up in the sky was giving them an extra motivation,on which Pinkie started to sing her favorite song, “Smile,Smile,Smile”. Everypony went their home after they finished cleanning up.

Meanwhile,the door at the Sugarcube corner was strongly oppened and Pinkie had just jumped through seeing Mr.and Mrs. Cake standing next to one big,round table with a letter on it. Pinkie’s awkward smile had gone after looking at their face,confuzingly wanted to asked something,but her mouth was totally shut when she heard what was the letter about.Pink pony felt that something just won’t be right. “Pinkie…”,Mrs.Cake looked at her with a sad expression, lowering her head down, wiping the tears with small, but used tissue. “Pinkie…Even if you decide to leave us…You know that we’ll never forget you…We’ve always loved you,and we’ll be always there for you,no matter if you are here,or in the other place…Just take this..” Mrs.Cake gave Pinkie her good luck amulet,to bring her happiness on her journey to her real family,to her real home. Pinkie raised an eyebrow now looking even more confused. “B-but wait! What is this all about? I haven’t planned to leave Ponyville! There are my friends,my bestest ever friends,and I am not going to leave them,not going to leave you!” Mr.Cake sighed.He looked at young mare with despair, but he was strong enough to come forward maturely,grabbing the letter from the table and giving it to Pinkie,turning back to spot he’s already been standing before.
“Woaoh,what is this?A letter for me?I don’t usually get letters,and when I do,I don’t!” Pinkie turned a letter to the side there’s something been written,and started reading. On the front side was written: “TO: PINKAMENA DIANE PIE FROM: THE FAMILY PIE” Pinkie didn’t find anything bad with it until she saw small written words covered with blood saying: “Pinkie,Help Us!” She quickly oppened the letter,and started reading: “Dear daughter, I know it’s been long since we saw you for the last time.Our little Pinkamena,Pinky-Dinky,remember? Your sisters used to call you like that,and yes,those were good times.We really appreciated for all the parties you’ve made for us.But,If you’re reading this letter,be awared that something bad happened,and we need you to come here.We need you to help us,this is tough time,and I was afraid of this…Afraid from the long time ago … Your Mother.” Pinke was shivering while she’s reading the letter.The feeling was uncomfortable,her eyes were full of the tears waiting to be shed,slowly lowering her ears. Pink pony sat quietly for a moment,leaving her breathless of what she has read a moment ago.Mr.and Mrs. Cake came here to hug her tightly. “Don’t worry,Pinke.Whatever it is,we’re absolutely sure that it was not that bad.Hey,cheer up,little smiley.” She smiled back full of tears coming out of her eyes. “If you say so…” But…. Mr.and Mrs. Cake were wrong.Something really bad happened,and Pinkie will discover in the near future.

Pinkie went upstairs thinking of how bad the thing might be.Her family needs her right now? After all those years? She wasn’t sure what to do.Her room was quite happy and colorful at the moment, with all the things she got from her friends,Mr. and Mrs.Cake,from everypony around….She’ll never forget the moment she spent with her best friends,especially Fluttershy,her beloved marefriend. Now,the room suddenly turned to gray.All the balloons hanging on the wall were deflated,the smiley drawings she did in her free time had turned upside down,all the happy toys turned sad. Pinkie was taking her party cannon and only important stuff from her closet. She dropped a small object, crystal blue as she took the remaining necessary things for a long way. It was a crystal cutiemark Fluttershy gave her since they were little. She carefully picked it up,looking at it and put it in small pocket in her bag. Im sorry… Just when she was about to leave, someone was suddenly surprised her by appearing at the door of her warmth room,which startled her hard. “G-guys,what are you doing here? I’ve seen you alredy today,I m completely fine! Look at me,Im smiling!” Pinkie tried to get away from the situation,but Twilight was smart enough not to be fooled…Again. “Look,Pinkie.We heard what’s going on.We just wanted to bring you some fresh hay and this delicious apple.Don’t worry about us,we’re going to be here in the Sugarcube corner.We promised Mr.and Mrs. Cake that we’re going to look after the babies while you’re gone.No worries,we’re hoping that your family is going to be fine,” Twilight said. “Thank you so much guys! You really are the best friends that somepony could ever have!” She happily hugged them all,but the pain couldn’t stop,and after she let them off she turned around avoiding the eye contact. “Umm…guys…Can I talk with Pinkie for a second...Im going to be real quick!” Fluttershy timidly raised her hoof on what the others had a laugh. “Of course you can,ok guys,leave them alone”. Everypony left the room. “Hey,Pinkie…I want to tell you something…If it is okay with you…” “Yeah,sure…” Pinkie’s head was still lowered by all the sadness inside of her.Fluttershy gave her a small grin,looking firmly at her. “Is there a room for two? If you don’t mind,I’d like to go with you…You’re kind of unstable right now,and I think that you need somepony who’ll watch over you.” Pinkie didn’t say anything but stare at the floor. Fluttershy was silent for a moment,then she disappointly sighed.

As the two ponies were on their way to Rock farm,where Pinkie’s family live,the others were facing much,much bigger problems….
