Is this...Equestria?

I can't believe it! I just woke up in freaking Equestria! Holy Celestia, this is cool! The hook and challenge? Making new friends. And making a new life.

Tired from my day as a Youtuber and at school, plus a shopping day for games, I go to sleep early. Getting more sleep than ever, I felt so weird when I woke up. I wasn't exhausted, bored, hungry, nothing. So what was I? Well, I found out in a weird way. I went to a lake, and looked at it. And I was a pony. So, what's my new name? WILL I BE HERE FOREVER? Actually, that second one might not be that bad.

(Note: Twilicorn isn't featured as a main character for room for actual mains, but she IS in this. This takes place between Equestria Girls and Princess Twilight, Part 1.)

Day 1: Is this...Equestria?

View Online

So, the day was over. 9:00 pm. Time to sleep. I had recorded and uploaded twenty-something Youtube videos, school was off for the weekend, and I had nothing more to do. I jumped into bed(literally) and went to sleep. But what happened next is just plain weird.

I woke up in my bed, but it felt strange…Like it was softer. I looked around my room, and it looked-Wait, this isn’t my room. I wasn’t on my bed. I was on grass, outside. “How did I get here? And how the HELL did I not FREEZE to death?” I asked myself…Or anyone around. I looked around a bit more to pay some more attention, noticing trees, some houses, a baby dragon running an errand, a market run by and with customers that were ponies, and the grass I was on. Nothing special. “Wait, wait, wait. Dragons, ponies, ponies, houses, grass, and trees…Could this be…Equestria? No, no way. I don’t think that’s possible. But is it? I mean, maybe someone, well I guess somepony, teleported me here. I mean, you never know who knows of who.” So, after a few minutes, I decided maybe I should go to the market and see if I recognize anypony. And then I decided not to. Man, I wish I wasn’t shy sometimes. Plus, another issue arose in my head quickly. Names. It’s not like my name would work in Equestria, so what could I do? “What about-No. Well maybe there’s-Nope. I could try-No, that’s taken.” I said to myself, before getting an idea. “So I should find out what I am first! It could make it easier! I just need a mirror.” I looked around, for any open mirrors. Why would I even expect one? So I thought…Thought, thought, thought. Then I saw the pond, and quickly ran towards it. Looking down, I saw a green pony with a horn and wings in the reflection. My hair, well, mane was a light green and light blue, and split at the horn. My tail was the same colors, as I would’ve figured, except it looked different. “Alright, so I’m some kind of Alicorn pony with no Equestrian name. So, what about…I’ll try that.” I quickly ran towards town to ask for an explanation from Twilight, since she might know. Then I stopped. “Then again, I could try to learn how to use the wings and horn alone and teleport home on my own…It might be easier. Plus, nopony would notice me.” I said to myself. ‘No. I need to go. But what if I just run away and confuse her? Then I go back and try again. Wouldn’t I just fail again?’ Questions ran through my head, with answers causing more questions, and distracted me from the fact I had begun walking again, and before I knew it, I was at the library. Avoiding everypony, of course, since I just walked the most hidden path I could. Or something. I hope. I knocked on the door, slowly and softly. “G…Guess nopony’s home.” Just then, as I was turning around, Twilight opened the door. “Oh, hello. You must be new. Get inside before Pinkie sees you, the party can’t happen today.”

“S-Sure…” I replied, walking inside. She looked at me as she closed the door with her horn’s magic. “So, what’s your name?” I looked at the bookshelves, trying to look distracted. She repeated the question, “So, are you gonna tell me your name? You’ve gotta have one.” I continued looking at the bookshelves, hoping she’d buy it. “Seriously? You think I believe that? I’m the only pony in Equestria who gets lost in books like that, especially when not started on one.” I stopped looking at them, and my eyes closed. I felt something inside me, like I needed to tell her. It was important, after all. But could I ever get home? Would she know? If I can’t go home, where will I stay, what will I do? “My name…Is Rapid Approach.” She smiled at my response. “Well, I’m-“

“Princess Twilight Sparkle, Element of Magic, and newest of the four Princesses. I know.”

“How did you know that?”

“Well, see I’m sorta…From another world. In my world, there’s a TV show called My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and you and you friends are the mane characters. Get the pun?” I chuckled, and got a confused look for a response. I continued, “You need to write it down to get it. Anyway, I know about a few of the things you’ve done. About 60 of the things you’ve done, a little more. Meeting your friends, Discord, the Gala, King Sombra, that one song from when your cutie marks switched, and even you going to the human world. Still not mine, but I know it happened.”

“So, you’re not from here? And I’m guessing you came thinking I did it or would know who did, right?”

“Yeah. That’s exactly what I came to you for.”

“Alright, well I can tell you that I have no idea how you got here. But I know you can live with me for a while. Do you have anything from your world with you?”

“Nope. I don’t have a saddlebag to keep them in either, so I would’ve just hidden them somewhere even if I did. I just woke up in a field of grass.”

“Well, I guess until we can find a way to your world you’ll need to adjust to having hooves, a horn, and wings.” She grabbed a book, and lifted it with her magic, as her horn and the book lit up with a purple glow. She put it in front of me, and continued, “Try reading that. Your horn would be easier to adjust to without experience.” I looked at the book. Magic: A Guide for Young Ponies, and a note in the top-right corner of the cover reading Created for ages 7 and under. “What? B-but it says it’s for 7-year-olds! I’m 13!” Twilight quickly responded, “Well, then ignore the wings and horn and just be an Earth Pony with wings and a horn. That won’t be odd at all.” I just looked back down to the book, opening it. “Fine.” After having read the book, I tried a few levitations. The first was the book, just to lift it. Second, was two others with it. Third, I put all three back. “This isn’t that hard.”

“That’s just the easy stuff. You won’t need actual spells though. Besides, it’s best to sleep. You took all day to read that thing and get those three book levitations right. You can sleep in my bed with me, since there’s nowhere else, really.” I just followed her up the stairs, and climbed into bed next to her, folding my wings in. How did I know how to do that? I decided to figure it out in the morning.

Day 2: Applejack&Fluttershy

I woke up, but Twilight wasn’t beside me in bed, and the covers were lifted off of me. Was I home? I looked round as a stood up, realizing I was still in Equestria. With Twilight. ‘Wait, why does that change anything?’ I thought to myself. I walked downstairs as I stretched my wings. I just opened and closed them. Maybe Twilight could help me figure out why I knew this. When I got down the stairs and finished stretching my wings, I noticed Twilight was reading a book about other worlds. I quickly said, “Twilight, I’m sure it’s not in there.” ‘Why did I say that? I…I don’t want to be in Equestria forever…Do I?’ I looked at her for if she would get angry at me. She looked up from the book and smiled at me. “If you say so.” She floated the book back onto a shelf, and looked at her books. I wondered something, though. “Twilight, how long have you been up?”

“Rapid, you don’t need to worry about me. But if you need to know, it’s only been about ten minutes.” She replied. I had a response question, “What about the covers being lifted off of me?” She had a response to that as well. “Because of the time. I wanted you to wake up quicker. I guess that didn’t do much, though”

“One last question.”

“Yes?”

“I’m able to move my wings freely, but I have no previous experience.” She had seemed confused. “Really? Well, maybe you’re just adjusting to it after learning the levitation magic. It’s not like they’re impossible to relate to one another.” She walked towards the door. “Anyway, you should come out to the market with me. I can introduce you to Applejack, since she has a stand there.” I walked over to her and replied, “I already know-“ Twilight cut me off with the two words, “In person.”

A few minutes later, I was trying to avoid being noticed by anypony, being new around. We reached Applejack’s apple stand, and I was ducking behind Twilight. “Hey there, Twilight. You still have the list we made yesterday, right?” Twilight grabbed a list from her saddlebag. “Right here.” Applejack looked it over, just to make sure she had done everything. “Thanks a bunch. Oh, and who’s that behind you? Somepony from outta town?”

“You could say that. I…Don’t know why he’s hiding…Or why behind me is his hiding spot of choice.” She stepped to the side, and I was left facing Applejack. “Well, you don’t look like anypony from ‘round Ponyville. You a new pony? My name’s Applejack.” I just stood there. She stood there. Silence. Twilight gently tapped me with her hoof. “Tell her your name, it’s fine.” I just looked at Applejack still. “C’mon, I just want to be your friend, like Twilight.”

“I…I’m Rapid Approach.” I replied. Applejack put her hoof out for a hoofshake. “Well, it’s great to meet you.” I shook her hoof, though still not quite used to it, and looked at the apples. “Hey, um…Twilight, do you have any bits with you?” She gave Applejack six bits, which got three apples. “That what you wanted?” I quickly grabbed it happily and said, “Yes! Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!” Twilight and AJ just stared at me, confused at the attitude change. “What? I’m hungry.” I replied. “Well, anyway, I think I’m going to go have Rapid meet Fluttershy. But I still don’t know how exactly that meeting will go down after this. Anyway, I think we’re going.” She said. I followed her as I ate the apple, and along the way I was hiding from various ponies who would probably want to meet me. Hiding, of course, behind Twilight.

So, after some time, we reached Fluttershy’s cottage, with me not even hiding anymore. Nopony was usually here except Fluttershy and her friends. Strange, too, since it was so nice. Twilight knocked on the door, causing me to duck behind her yet again. Fluttershy opened the door. “Oh, Twilight, hi. This is a nice surprise.” She said. Twilight replied, “Hey, Fluttershy. So there’s a new friend I met yesterday who I want you to meet.” She once again stepped to the side. I just stood there. Fluttershy stood there. I was trying to not duck behind Twilight, and Fluttershy was probably trying not to hide behind the door. Twilight stared, waiting for one of us to say something first.
About ten minutes passed of us waiting for the other to talk before I just slowly stepped behind Twilight. “No thanks.” I said from behind her. I was wondering if Fluttershy would say anything to Twilight. Twilight stepped to the door again. “Why didn’t you say anything?” She began whispering, not realizing I could hear her. Funny, that reminded me of at home when people would whisper things they didn’t want me hearing within my hearing range. Of course, I usually forgot after a few hours, but it seemed familiar. She continued, “I figured if anypony could get him to talk easily, it’d be you.” Fluttershy just replied, “Well you know how I get around new ponies, Twilight. Like when I first met you.” Twilight just looked at me. “You know, I’m pretty sure you two should meet. It’d be great, especially if…Actually, that’s unlikely. Nevermind.”

“But…But I can’t.” I replied. Twilight moved away from the door and her horn lit up in a purple color, followed by me doing the same. Before I knew it, she lifted me into the air, and placed me in front of Fluttershy’s door. “Hi. I’m…” Fluttershy began, her voice growing quieter. “I’m Fluttershy…” Twilight just fell face-hoofed, not even sure what to do anymore. I just tilted my head. She tried again, her voice solid this time, “I’m Fluttershy.” I looked at the ground. That was something. Taking longer for an introduction than Fluttershy. I don’t know if I should be proud or ashamed. “I’m…I’m Rapid Approach.” Twilight smiled. “See? Wasn’t that easy?” Fluttershy opened her door all the way, letting us in. Twilight went in first, followed by me. “So Fluttershy, Rapid is new to Ponyville. I won’t say too much, as I’m sure you would be a bit surprised.”

“Well, Ponyville is a great place to be. I mean, there’s all kinds of friendly ponies who’d love to meet you.”

“Yeah…Well, I’m not sure that’s what I want.” I replied. Twilight looked out the window. “Hey, I think we should get going home. We should get back to the library to work on that magic of yours.” She said. We both left, saying goodbye to Fluttershy, and beginning to walk back to the library.

Soon enough, we had arrived, and there was still some time left until night, so we had time. “Now Rapid, the levitation is different for each object. Those books will be different from a stack of papers with the same weight. You’ll also feel the weight of the object you’re holding, though it should be VERY light, even for the heaviest of objects.” She gave me a book as she continued about levitation. I opened the book and began reading, paying attention to Twilight. “And then one thing I want to say is that you should find a way back soon enough, so levitation should be the only thing you need to know.”

“Twilight, I’m…Not sure if I want to go back. My friends are usually busy, and all I have to do there is type stories and make Youtube videos and go to school. Here, I have magic to learn, I can learn to use my wings, and even make friends who won’t be busy all the time. If you find a way back, that’s great, but don’t go out of your way, please. I know it sounds weird, but I wouldn’t mind if there was no way back. As long as I have friends here.”

“Rapid…I don’t even know what to say. What would you do if something happened here and it wouldn’t or couldn’t happen for you back in your world? And where exactly is your world anyway?”

“I’m not sure what I’d do, but I know that I can be in either world. And to the second question, I can’t answer where, but I know you’ve been to another similar world. It’s another human world, similar to the one through the mirror portal.” I looked outside. “Twilight, I think it’s time we head to sleep. It’s getting late.” We both went upstairs, and got into the bed, facing away from each other as we both thought about the previous conversation. Now if only I knew what tomorrow would bring…

Day 3: Sneaky Night

View Online

When the morning arrived, I woke up, but still with the covers on. Guess she just decided not to try today. I went downstairs, seeing Twilight once again reading. I quietly snuck over behind her and tried to startle her, “Morning! What are you reading?” Twilight jumped and turned around from her book to look at me. “Was that really necessary? And it’s just a book. Nothing to do with you and your world or anything. Just like you said.”

“Sorry, I just wanted to have some fun. I didn’t want to make you mad. Oh, but that’s cool. Is it a good one? Or is it just some ordinary book?”

“It’s a good one. Just…Not exactly something to read anytime but when first waking up.” Twilight responded. “It’s about some things I’ve already read. In fact, this book was one I read back in Canterlot.” I looked at the book. “Well, certainly looks good. Is it part of a series or is this it?”

“It’s the second in the trilogy. But like I said, the morning when waking up is really the only time to read something like Chaos Crash. Though I hear the third is better than the first two.” I smiled at her. “Cool. Maybe I should try getting up earlier than you. Oh, and I thought of something we could do this morning. Maybe we could go to the place I awoke in Equestria at. Maybe something of mine could be there.” Twilight nodded and placed the book back on the shelf. We walked out the door, and I brought her to the spot I awoke in two days ago. “Interesting.” She said. “And that strange device right there isn’t from your world?” She pointed to what probably looked to her like a box with lights. I picked it up with my horn, as it became surrounded by a green glow, along with my horn. “That’s something I use to get up in the morning. Well, on school days. Also, if you want to know what it’s called, it’s an alarm clock. Battery power makes it possible to work in Equestria, since there are spares in the storage thing.” She looked around, not seeing anything else out of the ordinary. “Well, let’s get back. Maybe you should set that up to wake up before me. You’re waking up at around 10:30, so it should help you.”

“Right, sorry about that.” I carried the alarm clock back to Twilight’s place and set it down beside the bed. Twilight grabbed a book off the shelf and put it next to the alarm clock. “Twilight, we really don’t need to practice magic right now.”

“Well, we could always find Rainbow Dash and get her to teach you to use those wings right. I can’t, because as you should know if what you say is true, I can’t fly well myself.”

“Why can’t Fluttershy teach me? We met yesterday, and she can fly well enough to teach somepony.”

“Decide. Me and magic or Rainbow Dash and flying?” Twilight just stared at me, waiting for me to answer. I replied, “Neither. Why can’t I just go out myself and do stuff?”

“Because you almost walked away after silently knocking on my door, you’ve been hiding behind me around everypony new, and you avoided everypony on our way to and from where you awoke in Equestria. You probably shouldn’t go alone, and that’s why I go with you. Or bring you with me.” I sighed. “But Twilight, I can handle myself…Probably.”

“No. Now you need to study on magic.” She replied. I responded, “Fine.” I began to read the book, wishing I could go outside. Then again, maybe she was right. Later on once I finished, I noticed that Twilight wasn’t back. She must’ve left while I was studying. Twilight walked in the door, followed by another pony. At first I couldn’t tell who, then I realized it. Then rainbow mane didn’t belong to any other pony. I just waited. Twlight called up to me, “Hey Rapid, you done studying?”

“Yeah.”

“I have somepony with me, and I think she’ll be happy to meet you.”

I walked downstairs and then my guess was confirmed. “Um…Hi, Rainbow Dash.”

“Hey there! Twilight told me about you and I knew I needed to teach you how to fly.” Twilight smiled after Rainbow’s comment. “But Twilight, I already did my magic studying today. And I’m not a kid.” She just smiled and replied, “Well we could always put you in the regular school where Applebloom and her friends go.” I just sighed. “Do you need to do that every time I try to explain something?”

“Yes.” She replied, as Rainbow Dash walked over to me to look at my wings. “Nice wings. So, you can move them, but you don’t know how to fly, right?”

“Yeah. I’m not sure what’s up with that.”

“Well, maybe we should head outside.” I followed her outside, Twilight behind, for her ‘reasons’, and Rainbow began instructing me on how to move my wings properly in flight to keep a steady speed, deceleration, and acceleration. Only a few hours had passed once we were done, and I still couldn’t fly well. Maybe better than Twilight, but that really isn’t saying much. Twilight decided it was time to meet Pinkie, and I followed her to her house. Twilight knocked on the door, and a pink pony with that puffy out-of-control hair swung the door opening, noticing me before Twilight. “New pony!” She said, followed by Twilight putting a hoof on her shoulder. “Pinkie, we don’t need a party.” She put her hoof back down. “But I was just having him meet all of my friends.”

“Yeah. So, uh, I’m Rapid Approach.” Pinkie looked at me, probably trying to look for signs of a party pony. She stepped out of the way for us to come in, and I followed Twilight inside. I just sat down, followed by the other two in the room. “So, do you not like parties or something?” I wasn’t so sure I should answer her. I decided to reply, “You could say that, but I’d word it differently myself.” Twilight decided to cut in before anything else was said. “Pinkie, I was wondering if you knew anypony who knew anypony who knew anypony or something that would know Rapid.”

“Nope.”

“Alright. Well, there’s just one more pony to meet tomorrow. Rapid, let’s head home for now.” I followed Twilight, and on the way back said to her, “You know, you’re not my mom. I don’t have t listen to you. I don’t know why I even do. You don’t need to teach me magic, and I could just say no.”

“Well, if your world is anything like the world through the mirror, then you’d be in school at this point in time anyway. And for if you hadn’t guessed yet, I’m the only pony who’s able to act as a guardian for you. I know my stuff here, Rapid.” I followed her home, and ran upstairs. “I’m gonna get some extra sleep tonight.” I said, lying to her. She replied, “Alright. Well, if you wake up before, I won’t wake up from you getting up.”

“Yeah, yeah. Sure.” I went upstairs and climbed into bed, waiting for Twilight. I waited, and waited, and waited. A few hours passed before she climbed into bed on the other side. “You’re awake.” She said. I replied, “Yeah I am. So?”

“You lied.”

“Yep.”

“Well, I’m going to sleep.”

“Alright.” She climbed into bed, and it took about ten minutes for her to fall asleep. I snuck out of bed and downstairs, and walked out the door quietly. I looked around, and it was a bit dark, but I knew this was the only time I’d be able to do this for a while. I walked in the direction of Fluttershy’s house, and again took about ten minutes to arrive. I knocked on her door, and a tired Fluttershy answered. “Oh, hello. I thought you were staying with Twilight.”

“I was, I just…Wanted to walk and…Er, got lost and found here.”

“Well, you can sleep on the couch for the night if you want. The bed upstairs won’t be big enough.”

“Alright.” I walked inside, and she closed the door, walking upstairs. I climbed onto the couch, and closed my eyes, and soon fell asleep.

Day 4: Reuinted

View Online

When I woke up, Fluttershy was awake and feeding some animals outside. It isn’t hard to hear that kind of thing you know. Just then, I heard a voice call to her from a short distance. “Fluttershy!” whoever it was called out. It sounded like…Oh no. I quickly hid under the couch, and I heard a conversation, but I couldn’t tell what they were saying. Soon enough, Fluttershy walked back inside. I heard the sound of a Pegasus taking off, so maybe it was just Rainbow Dash. I got up and out from under the couch and looked at her. She looked at me and said, “Is something wrong?”

“No, no. It’s nothing. Well…Nothing important, anyway.”

“Alright then.” She walked over to me and sat down. “So, I thought you were staying with Twilight.”

“I am. I just wanted to walk, and I…You know, got lost. Just like I said last night.”

“Well alright, then next time try not to do something like that in the dark.” I was about to respond, but there was a knocking on the door. Fluttershy walked over and opened. “Oh, hey Twilight.” Twilight looked around inside, probably trying to find me. I quickly hid under the couch. “Can I come in?...Well, can we come in, I mean.” We? She must’ve brought somepony with her. “Sure.” I heard two ponies walk inside, one obviously Twilight, and then one was orange, but I could only see their hooves from under the couch. Orange? It wasn’t Applejack’s orange though, so was it a friend…A friend of mine? Just then, I heard a familiar voice call out. “So listen, we know you came here. Back home this was the place you said you’d want to stay most.” She said. Then it hit me. She was my friend. From my world. I thought about going out from under the couch, but decided maybe they’d give up and wait for me. Twilight then said, “Amber Lily told me she’s from your world too, Rapid. Come on, we know you’re here.” I lifted my head to try to hear better, but hit the couch by accident. Twilight lifted it quickly with her magic, gently setting it down next to me. “I told you he’d be here, Twilight.”

“You just had to do it, didn’t you…Amber?” I have to admit, that was hard to say. I’m sure I’ll get used to that. She just face-hoofed. “Yeah I did. See, Twilight told me about the three days you’ve been here once I told her I was from a different world. She explained our new name and everything, and asked if I knew where you’d have gone. If you weren’t here, we’d have been searching for you.”

“Well you at least could’ve let me come back on my own.”

“It’s almost noon, Rapid.” Twilight replied. I rolled my eyes. “Um…Hey Amber, how about you just…Uh…I dunno, do stuff. Rapid and I need to talk.” Twilight said. Amber nodded and walked outside, and began her way towards Ponyville. Twilight grabbed my hoof and brought me outside. I didn’t let her begin as I said to her, “How many times do I have to tell you you’re not my mom? I just wanted to go for a walk, and ended up here.”

“That’s why Amber Lily knew you’d be here?”

“I don’t know how she got here, but if she arrived when I did, I would’ve known, alright?”

“Fine. But you can’t do this again.”

“And if I do?”

“You don’t.” She just looked at me in a way that just kind of made me…Just give up. “Fine…” I replied. “Great!” She replied. “Let’s go back to Ponyville and have you meet one last pony.” The two of us walked towards Ponyville, and eventually we arrived. ‘This isn’t good.’ I thought, as Twilight knocked on the door of Rarity’s house. Rarity opened the door, and noticed I was with Twilight. “Hello there, Twilight. And who is this new pony you’ve brought with you?”

“This is Rapid Approach, and he’s-“

“Well, first let’s fix that mane of his.” She went to bring me inside, but I stepped back, and she fell over. “I…I have it like this for…Um…Reasons.” I don’t know why, but I like it the way it was when I arrived. “Fine. Well anyway, was there anything you needed?” Twilight and I looked at each other, and then back to Rarity. Twilight replied, “Not unless you need help…Aside from doing manes and stuff, that is.” Rarity nodded and closed the door. “You should know she did that to me when I first met her. Guess you just weren’t off-guard.” We began walking to the library.

“Because I knew it was coming. Anyway, we should head back. Oh, and by the way…” As I finished, Twilight stopped. I decided to just stop when she did. “Where’s Amber staying here in Ponyville?” Twilight just looked at me for a minute, wondering why I was wondering. She must’ve just stopped thinking about it, because she had a quick answer of, “She said she found somepony to live with. Not sure who…Maybe it was Applejack, since I hear they’re getting along nicely.” We continued our walk back, and we had soon arrived back at the library. Twilight passed a book to me. Not a book about learning spells or flight, but a regular book. “Hey, what is this?”

“A little something I think you’ll like.” I read the title after her response. “Breaking Down? I’ve never hear of that before.”

“It’s a book about somepony who finds herself surrounded by challenges, but pushes through to the end, no matter what life throws at her.” She just looked at me. I opened the book. There was a picture of a Pegasus, but it wasn’t in color. She seemed to look kind of like the type of hero you see during this kind of book. I turned to the first page. Something about that book really caught me, because Twilight had to stop me from reading after an hour or so.

So, she decided to give me the day off from practicing magic, and just skip to flight. Rainbow Dash came over, and went over basic stuff again, before we finally decided to try flying. We found a spot high enough to take off, but low enough that it shouldn’t hurt if I mess up. I followed her lead, and took off, but fell after a few seconds. “Man, this is harder than you make it look.” I said. She helped me up and replied, “It really isn’t that hard once you get used to it. Then again, you’re not even from this world.”

“How did you find out?”

“Twilight told me.” I turned around and stared angrily at Twilight. “I could’ve just told you to live with somepony else, you know.”

“Why do you always do this?”

“Because you don’t try to stop me.” I just turned back to face Rainbow Dash again. She just said to me, “Well, I think we’re done for today. Looks like you two have to…Uh…Talk or something.” With those words, she flew away, leaving Twilight and I alone. Shortly after, Amber came over to the library. When Twilight and I saw her waiting, I told her to stay back for a minute. “Hey there. I thought you said you had a place to stay.”

“And I thought you knew that I don’t sleep much.” She replied. I just motioned for Twilight to come over. I was about to say something, but she then started, “So, Amber Lily, what brings you here so late?”

“I just wanted to know if you knew where I was staying.”

“Sorry, we never found that out.”

“Alright. I’ll keep it that way for now.” She walked away, and Twilight and I went inside. I went upstairs and climbed into the bed, and was soon asleep.
