Midnight Twinkle's(my OC) story of her (love) life.
Midnight Twinkle is Princess Luna's daughter. Her life suddenly changes when she meets Dusk Shine, the top student in her Aunt Celestia's school. Read on to know more!
It was a cold night in Canterlot. Princess Luna was doing her night patrol when she heard a baby's cry. She looked at the spot when she saw a beautiful blue baby. She approached the baby and the baby was surprised. The baby's purple eyes twinkled in the night and it looked like a star. Luna couldn't feel to abandon the poor baby so she took her to the palace. At the palace Princess Celestia woke up and was surprised by Luna being happy over something. When Celestia looked at the thing, Luna tried to block her view. Princess Luna did this for a long time until the cry gave it away. Princess Celestia moved Luna with her magic and saw the baby. She couldn't believe her eyes! The baby was too cute for her! Luna then talked to Celestia about the baby and they both agreed to adopt her, since she was abandoned. The two princesses started to think of a name. Blue Skies, Blue Night,Blue Stars, even Blue Cheese was included in the list! Princess Luna then removed the baby's cloak and it revealed a horn. Princess Luna started to think of a better name. She then remembered the time that she saw the baby. It was midnight and the baby's purple eyes twinkled in the night. "Tia, how about Midnight Twinkle?", Princess Luna said. Princess Celestia nodded in agreement and smiled. She knew that this unicorn might make her sister become happier and livelier. Princess Luna even volunteered to be the unicorn's mother. Princess Celestia smiled and then went to sleep.
(Midnight's POV) "Happy 5th birthday, Midnight Twinkle!", Mother and Auntie Celestia said in unison. "Thanks, Mother and Auntie.", I said while brushing my black mane away from my eyes. As my present, mother told me on how I was born. It was too disgusting for me to remember. Anyways, Auntie gave me a chance to play with the fillies in Canterlot. Everypony was having fun! I wanted to join them but I think they are afraid of me. They all avoided me. I immediately ran back to the castle in tears. I went to my room and locked the door."Twinkie, are you there?",Mother said. I completely ignored her and went back to crying when she just teleported to my room. I hate Mother's habit of teleporting to my room. She then comforted me with hugs and kisses. An hour later, I heard a filly's voice from the window. I think the voice is calling me out to play so I went out of my room.
(Princess Luna's POV) I gave Midnight some comforting hugs and kisses. I know she is still crying so I used my magic to make a filly out of a statue. The filly had a golden mane and orange coat. I decided to name her Gold Sparks. She was a pegasus so I let her go outside. Gold started to call Midnight using her cute voice. Midnight went out of her room.
(Midnight's POV) The filly introduced herself to me. She said that her name is Gold Sparks. She had a really cute voice. We played all kinds of games. We were having so much fun when night came. I knew it was time to go home. I said goodbye to Gold and went back to the castle. Later, I heard Gold's voice. I followed the sound of the voice and I spotted Mother using her magic on Gold. There was wind everywhere and by the time I opened my eyes, Gold was gone. On where she was stood a golden statue. Mother turned a statue into a filly so I could just be happy. I also wanted to copy the spell Mother used! Anyways, I went to sleep because I was so tired.
"Midnight,time to go to school.", Mother said. I was still sleepy but Mother used her magic to wake me up. I was starting to get annoyed by her magic. Anyways, it was my first day at Auntie Celestia's school! I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ate my breakfast and packed my things. Before I left, I gave Mother a kiss and said goodbye. At the school's main entrance, Auntie Celestia was waiting for me. She told me everything about the school. She also led me to my classroom. I looked for a seat and found one between a mare and a colt. The mare had a red and yellow mane and a light amber coat with a sunset cutie mark. The colt had a blue mane with purple and pink stripes. He had a violet coat and a cutie mark of a star sparkling. I asked the two ponies if I can have this seat and they said yes. The colt introduced himself to me and his name is Dusk Shine and Dusk also told me the mare's name. It was Nightfall Glitter. I kinda think that she is a mean girl. After that the teacher came to the room and all of us introduced ourselves. The teacher taught us the basic magic spells. As the niece of the owner of the school, I have to listen and take notes about the topic. Pretty much of the day was boring. I immediately fell asleep in my room after class. Woo, the day was tiring!
School was boring today................... EXCEPT for the fact that my teacher made me and Nightfall partners for our research! I totally hate Nightfall since she is a snob. She constantly brags about her magic capacity being better than mine! I really hate her!!!!!!!!!! Ugh, I'd just like to sleep.....
Nightfall's POV
I went home after class. I was greeted by my mother in our old small home. I really need the scholarship to my school since it will not only benefit me, but also my family. Anyways, Midnight kinda reacted too much when our teacher made us partners. I wish that I had her life in a castle with maids that do what you say.Her life wearing fancy clothes, eating fancy food, learning fancy manners and meeting fancy ponies. Maybe she'll be the ruler of Equestria in the future. I just hope that Princess Luna will give me good dreams.
