Rainbow Dash gets a mysterious package with a doll inside of it and has no idea what it is, but soon discovers the darkness that lies within the doll. What could the source of this evil be? What does it want?
Bear in mind: THIS IS THE FIRST PART OF THE SERIES THERE WILL BE A SECOND!
It was a sparkling new day in Ponyville and everypony was about enjoying the sun.
Rainbow Dash was out as usual, bright and early flying through clouds as she cloud busted them leaving a white puff of smoke in her wake.
Rainbow was exhausted after a days work of cloud busting all over the town and headed home in the afternoon.
Upon getting back to her cloud palace, she noticed that there was a small blue box next to her mail box, a box that she had never seen before.
She went up to it and picked it up gently with her hoof's gazing up and down of the box looking for an address or name tag on it as to what the contents were, but found nothing of a trace outside the box to check if it was sent to her by mistake.
The box itself was plain midnight blue with a taped down top of the same shade of blue.
She opened the door to her palace and brought the box inside, kicking the door closed with her back leg.
She placed the box on her long wooden table in her dining room and took a pair of scissors to cut the four small bits of tape on the outside and peered inside.
What she saw made her fly off her seat and ram herself into her cloud wall.
There was a pair of two red small eyes staring at her through the seep of the lid left off.
The doll was of a small, two tailed fox with yellow ochre fur and white chest that gave it a lovely texture. The thing that disturbed Rainbow the most were the eyes and small gem hanging from it's head that was connected by a small thread.
As she stared into it's eyes, she felt very uncomfortable and placed the lid back onto the box and sealed it shut like it was when she found it.
After putting the lid back on, Rainbow picked it back up carefully and brought it to a small bookshelf filled with a rather large collection of Daring Do books.
She placed it next to the line of neatly stacked books in a small place big enough to fit its size.
'What the hay is that thing? Some kind of Nightmare Night decoration?' Rainbow's voice was stained with confusion.
'Hmmm... maybe Twilight would know what this thing is? Maybe i'll go and see her tomorrow or something...'
Rainbow gave a loud yawn and headed for her bedroom, ready to go to sleep.
LATER ON THAT NIGHT
Rainbow Dash was awoken by the 'jingle, jangle' of bells echoing through her cloud palace that sent shivers down her spine.
'What in the name of Celestia is that racket?' Rainbow said in a sleepy voice as she rubbed her eyes.
Rainbow was curious as to what the source of the noise was.
She got herself out of bed and began to walk through the long, woolly white corridors to where she assumed the noise came from.
The box that was on the shelf shocked Rainbow Dash as she saw it was no longer on the shelf that it had been placed on.
The midnight blue box had been torn directly down the center of the box that left a massive bundle of cardboard shards scattered everywhere around the floor and shelf, as well as the nearby table.
The jingle of the bells sounded once again, sending shivers down her spine.
'Hello? Anypony there?' Rainbow's voice was the only thing that could be heard through the emptiness of her house.
'Hello?! Stop playing games! Fluttershy, is that you?' Dash's voice was louder, desperate to find out who was messing with her.
Dash was startled at what she heard behind her.
'Peeeeeeeek-aaaaaaaaaa-booooo!' A dark sounding voice said in a childishly slow tone.
Dash jumped back, scared out of her skin.
'GAH!'
The the thing that said those nerve twitching words was the doll from the box.
But how could this be? How could a doll come to life and talk? Is this some kind of magic trick?
The dolls eyes were glowing a satanic red glow and staring right at Rainbow Dash's frightened magenta eyes that were now the size of the tip of pins.
She couldn't bare to stare at the devilish eyes and grin of the evilness within the doll and thrust herself through her door.
The door blasted into an explosion of wood shards and Rainbow made her way down to Twilight's library.
She was half scared out of her mind and frightened to even think about what that 'thing' was and what it is capable of.
Without Hesitation, Rainbow smashed through Twilight's door, hooves shaking and wood splints in her mane.
Rainbow's cries of help rippled through the floors of the library and to her surprise, didn't wake Twilight from her deep sleep.
Rainbow flew to her bedside and started shaking her sleeping soul with what strength she had left in her now shaking hooves.
'Twilight! WAKE UP!'
Twilight sleepily opened her eyes as the rainbow maned Pegasus came into focus. Twilight gave a loud yawn.
'R-Rainbow? What are you doing here?' Twilight glanced at her bedside clock,'Its 3 in the morning...'
'I NEED YOUR HELP! SOMETHING IS IN MY HOUSE! SOMETHING EVIL!' Rainbow instantly replied with a fierce tone out of her scared and shaken voice.
'There was something in a box and... it tried to attack me!! I'VE NEVER BEEN SO SCARED! It came at me and stared into my eyes with its own glowing red eyes and....'
Rainbow was stopped by Twilight's hoof being slammed into her mouth.
'Rainbow, calm down! Now, what attacked you?' Twilight stared at Rainbow, retracting her hoof awaiting an answer.
She gave her a scared look.
'A.... yellow and white fox doll with blood red glowing eyes and a maniacal smile! I TAPED IT BACK INTO THE BOX AND IT BROKE ITSELF OUT!'
Rainbow began telling her story, 'I was awoken by the jingling bells it had inside of it and.... i went to my bookshelf where i placed it and... ITS WAS OUT OF THE BOX! I just found the box outside of my house yesterday, after sky busting through the clouds.... It had no address...'
Twilight put her hoof to her chin, tapping it a few times.
'Hmmm.... A moving, crazy doll, huh? That sounds a bit weird, Rainbow.. Are you sure it wasn't a dream??'
She gave Rainbow a smile at her small joke of Dashie being scared of a doll.
Rainbow gave an angered groan.
'HEY! This is serious!!' Rainbow yelled at the purple unicorn, now laughing.
'Yes it was real! I saw it! i came here after it happened!'
'Hehe, sorry, Rainbow, it just sounds like a dream a filly would have, but i do remember a thing like this in one of my books...'
Twilight used her magic to lift books off her shelf and swoop them down so she could find what she was scanning for.
'No,no,no,no,no, YES!' Twilight said in an excited voice.
'Rainbow, the tale is called: Mystery of The Death Doll'
Rainbow's ears pricked upon hearing this.
'Come again? A death doll?'
'Yes, it says here that it was a failed experiment that turned incredibly hostile and ended up escaping the facility where they tried to make it by splicing DNA of a fox and a stuffed bear.' Twilight explained,'Yes, it sounds physically impossible, but they made it work, and upon its escape, it killed lots of scientists and guards, as well as facility engineers.'
'They were all found with their chests torn fully open, through the bones and flesh with their hearts gone.'
Rainbow's expression turned to a look of disgust.
'Eww! That's just vile! What does it want with a heart anyway? Its a stuffed fox-bear experiment, it has no use for a heart!'
'Hmmm, not quite sure Rainbow, I don't think anypony knows. I guess you would have to find one of the ponies who used to work there before the accident happened.'
'I dunno... that sounds a bit risky to me. What if that 'thing' catches me? He may kill me too!'
Rainbow was starting to go deeper into her thoughts to consider her final choice to go find the source of the evil or find the facility from which it was created in. But this surely can't be true, it just couldn't!
Silence swept between the two friends as Rainbow broke the silence telling Twilight her final answer.
'Twilight... I want to go find out what that thing is and why it was at my doorstep. I'm gonna go find out the truth.'
Rainbow's voice was now quiet, thinking further about her decision as to what she just said she was going to do.
LATER ON AT RAINBOW'S PALACE
Rainbow had left Twilight's library and flown back to her fluffy cloud house in Cloudsdale.
She opened her door gently and quietly with her front hoof and peered inside for a glimpse of the doll that came to life the day she brought it in, but she saw no sight of the devilish thing.
She slowly trotted into the still darkened hallway of her house, sending shivers down her spine by just thinking about what Twilight had told her.
She saw and heard nothing apart from the draft of the wind coming from the slightly opened door behind Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow wasn't taking any chances and scanned every inch of her house for the nightmarish doll that she had taken in last night, but saw no trace other than the small cardboard shards from the first time it came to life.
As she was scanning the dining room in which she had left the doll, she was startled by a loud noise that sounded like glass breaking.
The noise made Rainbow jump out of her skin and she began to slowly whimper, fear now soaring in her now fragile mind.
Rainbow quietly trotted to her kitchen where she found the source of the noise.
All of her plates and cups, including her cherished Wonderbolts plate had been smashed into small bits of pottery and granules.
'How the hay...?'
Rainbow was confused and scared, thinking where the doll was now. It was clearly in the kitchen... but where?
Rainbow was snapped out of her trance as she saw the doll fall from the cupboard door and onto the many shards that now lay across it with a thud.
'AHH!'
Rainbow screamed.
'OH MY CELESTIA!'
Rainbow was now more scared than she had ever been. She felt as tho she was in a horror film with all that was happening around her.
The doll's lifeless eyes gleamed devilishly in the light coming from the lights above like a fire ruby, filled with all sorts of inhumane thoughts.
Rainbow froze as she met the dolls disturbing glare. Just the very look of the doll made all the nerves within Rainbow turn to ice. sending shivers down her spine.
The dolls mouth began to move slowly then say in a darkened voice.
'I see yooooo-uuuuu.'
The doll then revealed it's razor-sharp teeth to Rainbow's now horrified face and made her back away as the possessed doll stumbled to it's feet.
What Rainbow didn't notice, out of fright, the doll was wielding a knife in its small, stuffed hand.
Rainbow was now panicking, looking for a way out, but the only way out was the window, but that was too risky.
If she tried the window, she would surely be killed by the knife first.
She had to act fast, and grabbed the nearest weapon she could find.
She feverishly rushed her hand around her kitchen counter and felt her electric bread knife and took it out from behind some glass cups and mugs and turned it on.
'STAY BACK! STAY AWAY FROM ME!!'
Rainbow demanded.
She couldn't see any trace of the doll now, but she could hear its tormenting laughter that echoed throughout her house's fluffy walls.
The laughter never seemed to end as it bounced wall to wall like a ghosts cry into Rainbow's ears.
Out of the darkness the doll was hunting Dashie and waiting for the right moment to take her by surprise.
A few minutes had passed and Rainbow Dash was scared half out of her mind, when all of a sudden the doll jumped on top of her with ungodly strength, especially awkwardly strong for a stuffed teddy.
'AHHH! NO! GET OFF ME!'
Dash screamed as she struggled to stop the doll pushing the knife into her chest as she fought for her life.
'You are perfect for what I need...you must die for me to process you!'
The doll said in a muffled voice.
Dash was getting even more scared by the hour.
Upon being tackled, Rainbow dropped the bread knife and was struggling to get it under the force of the dolls strength and strangely heavy body mass.
She tried to grab it with her front hoof while using her feet to push herself along her puffy cloud floor and eventually reached the knife.
After retrieving the knife, Dash flipped the power switch and the knifes began to move at a rapid pace, strong enough to cut through soft materials.
She used her right hoof to wield the electric bread knife and sawed through the collar of the doll, creating a long gash and a confetti of stuffing as the doll cried in pain and retreated out of the kitchen and escaped through the front door of Dash's cloud palace.
Finally alone, Dash was able to breathe and live another day.
'I... gotta... tell Twilight and the others about this....this is bad!'
Rainbow was still shivering violently in fear as the morning came over the horizon that slowly began to light up the still sleeping town of Cloudsdale and Ponyville.
Rainbow didn't know what to think of about what the doll meant.
''I need to process you?' What did it mean by that?'
Rainbow remained silent, not knowing what would happen if it found her again.
She may be tough and the strongest of ponies, but something as crazy as what she just experienced had completely freaked her out to the point where she was frozen with fear.
thousands of thoughts raced through Rainbow's head as she couldn't stop thinking about what chaos the doll may create if it finds its way into Ponyville or anywhere else.
She needed to find it, and needed to find it fast....
LATER ON IN THE MORNING
It was around 8 in the morning and Fluttershy was in the back garden of her cottage feeding her woodland critters.
She spent about half an hour feeding all the chickens and rabbits, with the exception of Angel being his usual self, who refused the meals he was given and threw it on the wall.
She was about to move into her house when something caught her eye. Something at the end of the garden.
She turned around to face the doll sitting firmly on the fence pole that separated the cottage from the everfree forest.
It was sat there, just staring at her with those small, black and beady eyes.
Fluttershy felt a shiver run down her spine as she looked back, into the shiny eyes that reflected in the morning sun.
Despite the odd and creepy appearance of the doll, Fluttershy noticed the gash going from it's collar bone and began to trot towards it.
'Oh...my...we need to get that fixed up.'
Fluttershy said as she glanced at the opening in the dolls fur.
Fluttershy picked up the doll with her mouth and began to trot her way towards the cottage when she heard a familiar voice echo from above in the distance.
'Fluttershy! Hey, Fluttershy!'
It was Rainbow Dash.
She was flying fast and low, speeding towards Fluttershy's cottage.
Dash was flying lower than before now, landing in the garden of the cottage with a long slide that made the mud turn up and cover the front of her hooves.
'Flutter...Fluttershy, put the doll down! Don't go near it?'
Fluttershy but the doll down as she looked into Rainbow Dash's deep magenta eyes.
'Why? Whats the matter, Rainbow?'
'Just get away from the doll! Please, Fluttershy!'
'But why? Whats the matter?'
'You see that cut in the collar of the doll?'
Rainbow pointed a hoof to the gash in the dolls shoulder.
'Yes. What about it? I was going to stitch it up.'
Fluttershy was now confused at what point Rainbow was trying to tell her.
'The doll came to life and tried to kill me, so I used my bread knife to defend myself.' Dash continued, 'It ran out my door and jumped out after I cut it!'
Both Dash and Fluttershy eyed the doll, watching it, looking for movement.
Fluttershy raised a brow at Rainbow Dash in deeper confusion.
'Dash? Are you sure it wasn't a dream?'
Rainbow gave Fluttershy an annoyed look.
'NO! That doll attacked me! It tried to kill me with a knife!'
Rainbow was growing more annoyed by the minute.
'I'm telling you the tru-'
Rainbow was cut short by a sharp pain on her fore hoof.
Rainbow said nothing but raised her hoof and looked at it.
Her eyes grew small, to the size of pin-pricks as she stared blankly at it.
Something had cut her hoof faster than the time she had to react.
Fresh blood began to flow from the wound as she was observing it.
'Wha..? ..how did...?'
Again, Rainbow was cut short and simply grew pale from blood loss and fainted.
Fluttershy watched in horror as she saw her friend drop like a stone, covering her mouth with her hooves.
She screamed loud enough that anypony could hear her, weather in Ponyville or the Everfree Forest.
She screamed for a short time, but Fluttershy soon noticed the doll beside Rainbow's chest.
The doll's eyes were not those of a cute, beady black anymore, they were now a glowing red that looked similar to the colour of blood.
The doll gave Fluttershy a maniacal grin and waved a blood stained claw and arm to her.
It didn't take long for Fluttershy to notice that the blood on the claw and arm was Rainbow Dash's blood.
'Hi-yaaaaaaaa!'
The voice of the doll was bone-chilling and dark.
Fluttershy couldn't believe her eyes and ears.
Fluttershy swung a hoof to her head and fainted with a loud thud as she made contact with the smooth, grassy floor.
'Oh my....'
The doll just simply laughed a cold and maniacal laugh.
'Ooops, I did it again!'
The doll was immediately interrupted by the voices of two mares approaching.
They must of heard Fluttershy's screams of terror and come to see what was wrong.
'FLUTTERSHY!? FLUTTERSHY?!'
It was Twilight and Rarity.
They reached the house and knocked on the door for an answer, but there wasn't one.
They knocked again. Still no answer.
The two hurried around the back where they saw the animals cowering in fright behind the chicken coup and trees.
It took them a short while to realize what they were looking it, and what they saw shocked them.
'RAINBOW! FLUTTERSHY!'
Rarity and Twilight shouted as she spotted her unconscious friends.
'FLUTTERSHY?! FLUTTERSHY CAN YOU HEAR ME?!'
Twilight yelled out of sadness.
Rarity shook Rainbow Dash, trying to wake her up, but she showed no signs of consciousness.
Rarity looked to Twilight with a scared look
'Twilight! hurry! get help! I think she is dying!'
The early morning soon transformed into the afternoon during the events that took everypony by surprise.
As to now, nopony knows what went on during that morning, all but one and that one was Rainbow Dash.
The wound she attained cut through several veins in her hoof and left her in a critical condition.
She could of died from it then, and now even. Nopony knows if she will make it to tell the tale.
Fluttershy was still unconscious and now at the hospital with Rainbow Dash and all her friends, along with a few members of the town who were curious to see what happened to them.
Fluttershy was the first to wake up.
Her eyes were trying to refocus as her eyes slowly opened followed by a small series of weak groans.
'Where....Where am I....?'
Her voice was dry and weak.
'What happened to Rainbow?'
Her eyes were now fully focused on the small crowd of ponies in the room.
In front of her was Twilight, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Bon Bon, Lyra, Berry Punch and a few others.
All their eyes were now fixed onto Fluttershy as they all let out a sigh of relief that she was alright.
Twilight was the first to speak out of the crowd.
'Fluttershy? How are you feeling? Are you hurt?'
Twilight asked in a concerned voice.
'N-No, I don't think so, but- Oh no...where's Rainbow?!'
'Calm down, Fluttershy, she's next to you in her bed.'
A wave of relief flew over Fluttershy as she knew her friend was safe.
'Fluttershy? What happened to ya'll?'
Applejack asked.
Fluttershy began to itch at hear head as she tried not to think about what happened.
It was all too much for somepony like Fluttershy... Especially too much.
She took a glance at Rainbow who was still unconscious and laid on her side.
Her hoof had a weave of bandages and gauzes around it to stop the blood flow as antibiotics were inserted through a medical tube.
A tear stroked down Fluttershy's cheek as she gave a heavy sigh.
'I...um... found a strange doll in my garden...and....um....'
Twilight's ears pricked as she heard about the a doll being mentioned in Fluttershy's story.
'Wait...a doll?' Twilight raised a brow as she started to think, 'Was the doll you found one that looked like a yellow fox?'
Fluttershy looked up towards Twilight's gaze. She knew where this was going...
'Y-Yes... how did you know?'
'Rainbow came in to the library at about 3 in the morning about 2 days ago saying she got a strange parcel with no name or address written on the label and said it was some kind of weird doll...'
Twilight continued.
'She told me that it tried to kill her the night she brought it in to her house.' 'She was scared half out of her mind when she came bursting through my door, but once she explained things, I remembered that I have heard of something like what she told me before.'
'What she explained to me led me to a fact that it was some kind of possessed doll. The legend about it is called Mystery of The Death Doll.'
The room fell silent as Twilight said those last few words.
Fluttershy turned slightly pale.
'D-D-D-Death Doll..?'
Pinkie Pie managed to say from under her breath.
'How? Dolls are so fuzzy-woozy and cuddly-wuzzy!'
Lyra was getting curious about this 'Death Doll' but also scared by it.
'Twilight, what should we do? Surely we are not safe with that doll thing creeping around town or Celestia knows where!'
Lyra was just as terrified as everyone else in the room, also as much as Fluttershy was.
The group were interrupted when a mare and stallion came into the room.
The mare had a mane much like Rainbow Dash's apart from it was a lovingly and beautiful shade of blue and her coat was that of a hot pink.
The stallion however looked familiar.
His mane and tail were the same as Rainbow Dash's and his coat was a tone of grey that looked near to the colour of stone.
The couple were both Pegasus's and there was no doubt that they were Rainbow's mother and father.
The blue haired mare was crying, and so was the stallion.
The mare went towards Rainbow's bedside with tears in her eyes.
She began to stroke Rainbow's mane with her fore hoof as she looked at her unconscious daughter.
'R-Rainbow..can you hear me?'
The mare's tears grew stronger and stronger to the point where she began to cry uncontrollably.
Seeing her daughter in the way she was now was all too much for her to bear.
The stallion pulled her into a hug as he himself started to cry.
As his wife cried into his shoulder, he couldn't take his eyes off his unconscious daughter.
He could feel himself starting to break. There was nothing stronger than the pain of loss, and he sure as hell wasn't going to standby and watch his own daughter remain in a deep state of unconsciousness as all they could do was wait.
What he was feeling was slowly eating away at him. He wanted the pony responsible for what happened to his daughter to be dealt with and he wanted him to be found NOW!
He turned his head to Twilight who was also starting to cry.
'Are you Twilight?'
'Yes. And you must be Rainbow Dash's father?'
'Yes, I'am. We both came here as soon as we heard about what happened.'
Twilight looked at him dead in the eyes of the rainbow maned stallion.
'Um...you may want to look at her hoof...she was injured by some kind of possessed doll...'
The mare and stallion gave Twilight a confused look and turned their heads to face Rainbow's hoof.
They saw it was covered all the way down with bandages and gauzes, along with a transparent medical tube that was filtering antibiotics into her system to keep her alive.
The pink mare went to go and touch her hoof, only to find that she was slightly cold to the touch.
She began to sniffle.
'What kind of sick pony would do this? WHO?!'
New tears began to flow down her face.
Twilight placed a hoof on her shoulder.
'She'll be fine, trust me. She was attacked by a possessed doll.'
'The part that I don't understand is why it only went for Rainbow Dash. I don't know what it saw in her, but something obviously made it want to target her and not Fluttershy.'
The pink mare sniffled again.
'Please....call me Firefly.'
'Firefly.. Rainbow had most of her veins cut when, by my guess, the doll slashed her. She may have to stay here for a while.'
Firefly nodded and hugged Twilight.
'Thank you, Twilight.' 'You have no idea what it's like to be far from your daughter then get a letter saying that she was at a hospital in a critical condition...'
Firefly's words began to trail off as she finished talking.
She looked back at her husband who was sat next to Rainbow Dash, watching her as he stroked her beautiful, multi-coloured mane.
At that moment Nurse Redheart walked in to tell everyone that visiting ours were over.
Everyone left except for Rainbow Dash's parents who were next to their daughter's side.
'Nurse? I'm not leaving my daughter alone when I don't know if she will be alright or not. I can't leave her like this.'
Rainbow's father looked straight into the nurses pale blue eyes, not breaking eye contact once.
'Sorry, but visiting hours are over, I know it's unbearably painful to just standby, but you must understand that-'
Firefly cut Nurse Redheart short.
'No. What would you do if this was your daughter? I'm not leaving her. No matter what you say, you won't make me leave her side.'
'Fine then. You may stay for a few more hours, just make sure you manage to leave before we lockup for the night.'
Rainbow's mother, Firefly was beside her unconscious daughter, still weeping in vein.
The room was silent, only with the sound of Firefly's cries echoing quietly around the room.
She was slowly starting to break down, her heart filling with emptiness as she kept her eyes fixed on Rainbow Dash's face.
'Rainbow... I'm...I'm sorry that this ever happened to you...I'm just so sorry...'
Firefly spoke slowly as she held Rainbow's hoof.
To her surprise, after she spoke, she was snapped out of her moment of sorrow by a sweet,familiar voice.
'M-M-M-Mum...? Agh.. what happened...? Why does my hoof hurt?'
Rainbow's voice was dry and pained.
Firefly looked down at her daughter as her face lit up and pulled her into a hug, being careful not to squeeze too hard.
'Rainbow! You're awake! I thought we'd lost you!'
'Agh! Mum, your hurting me!'
'Oh, s-sorry, Rainbow. I'm just overjoyed to have you back.'
Firefly said as she stroked Rainbow's mane gingerly.
'I've got to tell the others that you're awake! They would all want to see you!'
And with that, Rainbow saw Firefly run out the door like a bolt of lightning.
As she left, Rainbow panned her head to the right, to meet Fluttershy, in a bed sleeping with a small smile on her face.
Rainbow smiled to herself as she knew she was safe.
Just then she heard a small series of tapping on the window next to her bed.
Rainbow looked at the window but saw nothing there.
She quickly pushed it off like it was nothing and closed her eyes as she tried to go to sleep.
A few minutes later, the noise was heard again, but this time when she looked at the window, a very familiar looking doll with glowing red eyes and blood down it's claws and arm was staring right back at her.
Rainbow screamed as she had her eyes fixed on it's devilish, lifeless eyes.
The doll slowly lifted up the unlocked window as a crazy, maniacal grin grew bigger and bigger on its face.
in a matter of moments, the doll had already gotten inside the room as was now walking towards Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow tried to lean over and get the nurse alarm but it made her other hoof hurt too much as she tried to get it from the bedside table.
When she turned back around, she was face to face with the doll's blood-smeared face and piercing, red eyes.
'NO! Stay away from me! What do you want with me?!'
Rainbow's breathing grew heavier with each breath, making it so she could hear her heart thumping loudly in her chest.
Before she could scream again, the doll climbed onto her chest and covered her mouth with a blood claw, making her fall silent.
The taste of her own blood from the previous attack instantly filled Rainbow's mouth with a foul aroma.
'Shhhhh, Rest your sleepy head, it's time to go to sleeeeeeeep...In a few moments you will barely feel a thing.'
The doll's creepy voice flew through Rainbow's ears like a ghosts whisper.
She then felt a sharp pain in her chest.
When she looked down at the source of pain, her eyes widened in horror.
The doll's claw was digging slowly into her chest, making her pain grow stronger.
Blood started to poor it's way out of her wound and onto the clear, white bed sheets, staining them a bright red shade.
Rainbow tried to scream, but it came out as a muffle as the grip around her mouth grew stronger and stronger the more she panicked.
The last thing she saw before her eyes began to close was the doll tearing out her heart and inspecting it as it slowly turned it around in its blood-stained claw.
Rainbow's eyes slid closed as the pain grew unbearable and just as she did, Fluttershy woke up.
Fluttershy immediately heard the sound of the heart monitor and turned her attention towards Rainbow Dash.
Her jaw dropped as low as possible as her eyes froze upon her friends lifeless body.
She wanted to scream, but was too frozen out of shock to find her voice.
The doll noticed Fluttershy who was watching him and gave her a maniacal grin and placed a single claw to his lips.
'Shhhh.'
The doll then jumped out of the window with Rainbow Dash's heart and disappeared.
Fluttershy was still staring at Rainbow's lifeless corpse in horror and shock as she cradled her head in her hooves and began to rock back and forth in disbelief of what she had just witnessed.
A few minutes had passed before a crowd of ponies from before, including Firefly and her husband swarmed into the room.
Firefly's joyful expression instantly erased from her face as she saw Fluttershy rocking at the corner of her bed and her daughter covered in blood and guts.
She immediately ran towards Rainbow Dash and began crying harder than she had ever done before.
Her heart felt like it had been smashed into a million pieces and what she felt like inside was indescribable.
Rainbow's father couldn't bear the sight of his daughter like that and began to break down.
'R-R-R-Rainbow...No...you...you can't...'
Spectrum Streak's words trailed off as his mind raced with sadness.
He went up towards Fluttershy who was still cowering at the corner of her bed.
'Fluttershy...? Who did this...?'
Spectrum managed to say from under his breath as he tried to put a hoof onto Fluttershy's shoulder, only to retract it as Fluttershy jerked away, pushing her back towards the wall next to her.
'D-D-D-D-Doll....'
Fluttershy's voice was shaken so much out of fright that it came out in a nearly silent whisper.
'What was that...?'
Spectrum said.
'Did you just say....'Doll' ?'
Fluttershy quickly lunged herself at Spectrum, gripping him in a tight hug.
'Don't leave me! Please don't leave me!'
Lyra, Bonbon and Berry Punch were horrified by the sight before them and started to become light headed and threw up.
Twilight and Pinkie Pie were the next to come through the door, followed by Rarity and Applejack.
'Oh-My-Bucking-Celestia....'
Twilight said as she was greeted by the sight of her now dead friend, a series of tears rolling down her purple cheek.
Applejack, and Pinkie tried to hold their tears back, but it was of no use.
They started to burst in an explosion of tears upon looking at what had become of their friend.
Rarity said nothing but noticed Fluttershy who was clinging onto Spectrum's neck.
'Fluttershy, darling, what happened?'
'D-D-D-Doll....k-k-k-k-kill...ed...R-Rainbow...'
And with that, Fluttershy fainted again from shock.
'We've got to warn the princess...and fast, I don't know how long we are going to last with this killer doll on the loose...'
Twilight said out loud so everypony in the room could hear her.
'Firefly....Don't worry, we'll make this 'thing' pay for what it has done to her. I promise you.'
'Everyone, we need to go to Canterlot right away, we must inform the princess right now, those of you who are staying behind, barricade all doors and windows and other entry's to your houses and find a weapon, time is of the essence.'
All the ponies nodded at Twilight's instructions and ran off.
'We need to stop this right now before anypony else gets hurt.'
