after making her dreams come true, Rainbow dash has a few other problems arise.
Rainbow dash has finally made her dream come true. She's a wonder bolt. now she practices with the others, preforms in shows, and has a blast at wonder bolt HQ but she feels that one certain wonder-bolt keeps his eyes on her, even when he's not supposed to. with every one at HQ whispering their bets can the two get around it all. Then there is also the problem of a scary sight. haunting the to young love birds. with a few visions and a big upset they will find the missing pass they lost.
P.S. OK soI've been reading this book series and it sparked some inspiration and i felt like i needed to write a story with the same concept. The first three chapters are the same as before but chapter 4 is where things start to get interesting. There's also going to be a few more characters but i can't put it up since it won't allow it.
"UGH. even after being here for two whole years, I'm still nearly exausted after practice, and it doesn't help that I do all the fast flying moves, such as the Sonic-Rainboom. M y signature move." Rainbow said with a smirk on her face as she collapsed on a cloud near the outskirts of wonder-bolt HQ.
“Yeah. Keep dreaming rainbow. We all know that I do the best stunts around here.”
She scoffed, clear exasperation written on her face, but than a smirk appeared. “Really Soarin’? Care to prove it? How ‘bout a race from here to Pegasi Mount, or are you two chicken to race me when you know I have lot more energy left than you do?” Dash felt confident with her re-mark. All the wonder-bolts, even Spitfire, knew it was a bad idea to challenage her after a full day of practice. While they were all tired, she was in top-performance thanks to all the extra training she did before she was a wonder-bolt.
“You always know what to say, don’t you, Dashie?”
She blushed lightly at her pet name, which she told everyone to not call her. “I told you not to call me that, but, yes, I do always now what to say. It comes from my friend.” getting her water bottle, she flew off.

“See, I told you they like each other.” I was talking with Suprise.
“How can you tell? They’re just talking with each other. I’m gonna need more proof before I cough up the bits.”
“Ugh… fine, but didn’t you see them blushing. When we call Rainbow ‘Dashie’ she just yells at us, but when Soarin’ calls her that she blushes. Are you getting the message?”
“Fine, I see it, but I still need more proof to give you my bits.”
With that said Suprise walked to her dorm. I have to find a way to get rainbow dash and Soarin’ together, outside of practice and HQ. As I was walking down to the main base I noticed dash flying to her room bickering with Soarin’.
“SOARIN’. What do you want? I told you to get lost. I’m tired and hungry, and if you want that race it’s to late. You had your chance.”
“Dashie, listen-“
“I TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME THAT.”
“Ok, I understand, but come on. All I’m asking for is that you stay this weekend So we can go to that funeral. Why is that so hard?”
“WHY? 'Why is that so hard?' I'll tell you why. The royal guard that died on that mission? Do you know who he was?”
“No.”
“I thought so. So I’ll tell you. He was my Father. Does that answer your question?” After her rant, Rainbow went into her room. I could here soft sniffles come from inside.

“Dammit. I should have had a clue when she got so sensitive about it.”
I was pounding my head against the wall.
“Mind telling me what that was about?”
I turned round and standing next to me was Spitfire. She’s been my best friend since even before we were Wonder-Bolts.
“Well, when we were talking, Rainbow got a message to go to the office, said someone was there to see her. I went with her and stayed outside while they talked. I heard a few yells and cries before Rainbow came out walking next to Princess Twilight. When I asked her what happened, all she said was that there was going to be a funeral and that the wonder-bolts need to attend. Than she said she wasn’t going, even if it was regulation. Then... I think you herd the rest.”
“Why do you think she’s not going?”
“Oh, I think she’s going, just not with the Wonder-Bolts. Probably with her friends, you know, the elements of harmony.”
“Yes Soarin’ I know. But you should try to cheer her up. She rarely talks about anything but training with the rest of us. You’re the one she always talks to about personal stuff.”
“Really? Do I have to? She’s scarier than you when she gets mad or upset. We all know that.”
Spitfire shuddered. “Don’t remind me. She’s the first newbie that’s actually made me regret being so strict on them, and we all know how I am with training schedules.”
I started laughing. “Wait? You mean to tell me that Rainbow Dash is the reason you gave the newbies more resting hours? She got you to give them more resting hours and days off?”
“Uh…well… oh, shut it!”

As Spitfire and Soarin’ were talking right in front of my door, I was packing. The Princess, all of them, gave me leave from the Wonder-Bolts for 2 months. In the Wonder-Bolts 2 months is like 2 years. It was very rare to even have 1 month off. I went to my closet, got my leather jacket hoodie, my element of harmony (don't tell anyone but I think it looks pretty,so I wear it), my fingerless gloves, and a few other things. I changed out of my uniform and put on my jacket, element, and gloves. Others I put in my bag. I could hear Spitfire and Soarin’ still talking. I poked my head out the door.
“Do you two mind giving me some privacy?” As I walked out of my room those two feather-brains jaws hit the floor. “What?” I noticed they were staring at the back of my jacket. I finally realized what they were staring at. it was Commander Hurricane’s signature plus the original Wonder-Bolts mark. The sun and the moon interlocked with each other with angle wings.
“How’d you get that?” Soarin’ was finally out of his shocked state, “That jacket hasn’t been on the market ever since we got a new Wonder-Bolts insignia. 100 years go.”
“This was my grandfather’s. He and commander hurricane were really good friends. He gave it to my father and my father gave it to me.” I quickly explained, with my final words spoken I flew off to Clouds Dale, well actually under Clouds Dale. My home away from home, Ponyville.
In front of me was a note in yellow magical aura. The front read Princess Celestia I opened it up.
Dear Wonder-bolts,
I’m sure you have herd of the upcoming funeral on Saturday. The reason I tell you this is that the royal guard that has departed was very close with one of you best flyers. He was co-captain, hair of red, orange, and yellow, wings of sky blue. He was rainbow dash’s father. I, and the princesses of equestria, have decided to give rainbow a 2 month leave. Do not tell her that I know this but now that her father has passed way, she is n orphan. Her mother, a fit young woman, wings of dark blue, hair of green, blue, and purple. Left rainbow and her dad, when she was 8. I believe this is one of the reasons rainbow dash has such a tough exterior. Another reason is that she was bullied since a very young age; told she was a liar, a fake, due to the rumor of doing sonic rainboom that early in life. The sad thing is that the kids that said such things were watching her when it happened. I’m sure by the time you get this letter Dash has already blown up or had n argument. I know Rainbow Dash very well, ever since she helped my pupil, now princess, Twilight. She acts like nothing’s wrong, and that she’s not hurt by the events, but I know 3 girls she always lets see her emotions. And I know she’s thinking about being able to do that with one of you. I can’t exactly say who, but keep an eye out. I hope you guys consider to come and support her through this hard time, even if she says not to.

“Who, I had no idea. Why didn’t she tell us this?” I was shock, how could someone keep such sad history secret for so long.
“Didn’t you her what Celestia said? Right now there are only 3 people she lets her guard down round. But, I wonder which person she’s thinking about that’s here?”
Clearly it was obvious who she was thinking bout, to everyone except the one she’s thinking bout. “Idiot” I mumbled. It was incredible he was wonder-bolt before Dash.
“I heard that.”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah, just go to your dorm. I have some business to attend too.”
Rainbow’s POV
I flew full speed to Ponyville. I felt something wet in the corner of my eye, whipping it off betting it was a tear. I wasn’t going to let anyone see me crying, no one but the one I was going to. I was going to Fluttershy’s place. She still lives in ponyville at the edge of the Everfree forest. It was kind ironic, she’s scared of her own shadow and lives on the edge of the most dangerous place in equestria. I didn’t notice where I was going and crashed into a tree near Fluttershy’s cottage.
“Oh, My. Rainbow dash are you ok?”
“Yeah, I’m fine flutters. Just a bit… preoccupied.”
“Oh, that’s good. Why are you in Ponyville, shouldn’t you be practicing… I mean, if that’s what you do.”
“I need to talk to you. Can we go inside.”
“Yes, come on in.”
Once we were inside, and the door was closed, I ran straight to flutters and started to cry in her shoulder. Fluttershy we one of the few people I ever let my guard down around. We’ve been friends since flight camp. She knows what’s happened in my pass, and right now was the only one I trusted enough, well next to twilight and scootaloo, to talk to about it. All I wanted to do right now was curl up into ball and die. I had no mom, no dad, I was all alone.
I collapsed on to the floor, tears running down my face, turning into stream of sorrow that reflected what was in my heart, but not all.
Soarin’s POV
I know Spitfire told me to go to my dorm but I couldn’t help my self. I decided to follow Dash. as I saw her trough the window my heart started to hurt. I’ve never seen her break down like that. From what I can remember Celestia said there were very few people she ever let her guard down round. I was guessing that Fluttershy was one of them.
before long i saw rainbow dash flying out of the small cottage. i hid in a near by tree hoping she won't see me. i followed her to a cloud. it was getting late but i didn't leave. i couldn't leave dash alone after all that happened. she cried her self to sleep it was depressing, seeing her in such a bad state.
Rainbow's POV after visiting fluttershy i didn't want to go home. there were to many memories that laid. i cried my-self to sleep that night. i could have swear i felt someone watching me' but i was to tired to investigate.
"hey. rainbow! wake up."
"no."
"rainbow! it's time to wake up."
"no dad leave me alone."
i heard someone curse under their breath. i thought this was weird because my dad doesn't usally curse. i felt warmth coming near my mark, which is right under of my left boob. i was awake but waited for the victim to make their move. i just hope they know who they're dealing with. then i felt contact. i swung around and had who ever woke me in a head-lock. "who are you?! and who bucking reaches for a sleeping girls boobs!" i shouted probably shattering their eardrums. i felt them tense up.
" It's me! Soarin'. sorry if i woke you up in an... uncomfortable fashion."
"You better be sorry! what kind of person does that?!?! Oh, i know, idiots that want to get killed!" i let him go so he could breath. i could hear him gasping for air. he should now better than to sneak up on me.
"Hey Rainbow? can i ask you something?"
"Yeah, sure. What is it?"
Why didn't you tell any of us that with your dad gone, your an orphan?"
My eyes widened. i wanted to scream at him. how in the world could he possibly know that. the only people that knew were Fluttershy, and Twilight.
I pinned soarin' to the cloud as quick as a griffon.
"Where did you get this information?" i seethed through clenched teeth. once i find out who did this they're going to be sorry they ever heard it. i could feel my heart beating 1,000 times per minute. everyone knows that Rainbow dash doesn't get all mushy, but if anyone found out i was an orphan i would probably go to suicide. Just saying.
"Umm... I can't say. It's classified."
"Would you like you death to be classified?" I asked. i could already see sweat forming on his brow as he sputtered.
"I...I...I.. it's... you see... PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!!"
you could see a little smirk form on my face. anytime soarin' starts to scream you know you have him scared. it didn't take me long to figure that out. unfortunately, for him, he get me mad in the middle of one of my now famous mood swings. And let's just say that it was during my you know what so i was pissed off. "Oh Soarin'." i said in a flirty tone, slowly moving my hand from the arm it was pinning down and to his chest. i started to lay on top of him. I could see his face turning from a slight tan to a crimson red. my smirk became a bit more visible. i bent down to his hear...
"YOU JERK!!!!!" that totally scared him. he shot straight up, but i was prepared. right above him was a fully loaded thunder cloud.
"AHHH!!!"
i burst out laughing. the look on his face was priceless. i couldn't believe he fell for that. i can't believe i fell for it. his body is sooo toned and beautiful, expectantly when- STOP!! don't think like that Rainbow! your mad at him!! as i was having an argument with my-self i didn't notice that soarin' had recovered and was staring at me. i finally realized that he was and when i turned around. i got a very surprising sight. soarin' had took off his uniform and was wearing a tank-top and a pair of shorts. i could see his cutie mark on the upper-left corner of his chest. A deep blush formed on my face. without realizing i had been staring soarin' turned around.
"Um... Dashie? why are you staring at me?"
It took my brain a few seconds to process that he had asked a question."Ah?! i...i w-was um...?" a deeper blush crept its way to my face.
"Like what you see, Dashie?" he said flexing his muscles. i froze. i couldn't move, but than 'Dashie' reached my ears. the blush on my face turned redder, but not because i was blushing, because i was mad. i think soarin' could see this.
"What did you call me?!" my teeth clenched together. Soarin's face turned into a look of fight or flight. "I said,'WHAT DID YOU CALL ME?!!'" he was obviously scared. i absolutely hated the name 'Dashie' for a lot of reasons. nobody knew this but i had a pair of legendary hurricane swords. That kind of thing happens when your dad's Co-captain of the royal guard. i had the blade up to his throat. I used the swords' handles to turn him around, than i kicked him in his back sending him off the cloud. "Call me 'Dashie' one. more. time. you'll get it alot worse."
Soarin's POV I was being pushed to the edge of the cloud by HURRICANE SWORDS!!! where did dash get those??!! she's pretty good with them to. that's not good.
"Dash clam down all- whoa!" i was turned around than
BAM!!
the base of my wings burned as i fell to the ground. i fell to the ground with an audible thud!
"Nice going. you can't even recover from a low speed fall."
"Well, 1) i just flew all the way from canterlot and 2) you kicked me in the base of my wings which hurts a lot!" i got up, my whole back sore. sometimes i hate rainbow, but i have to admit she's pretty cute when she's mad. and when she's-STOP!!! you did no such thing.it was an accident. Right?. "Hey, Rainbow?"
"Yeah?"
"Where in the name of Luna did you get HURRICANE SWORDS?!?! it takes years to master them, plus you need to be 16 to even have them. You're only 19!"
"Did you miss the memo? Daughter of the former Captain of the royal guard here."
"Oh. right."
"Yeah now go! i want to be alone."
i could see hear eyes starting to water up as she talked. i didn't know what to do. she never cried at HQ unless she was in extrema physical pain like the time her wings almost got ripped off, when she ran into a manticore about a year ago. we were all super worried until the princesses came to see dash and about a week later Rainbow was good as new. No one knows what really happened but many thought that the cast a healing spell, but the princesses said they did no such thing. just brought over her friends. which, by the way, were spread out all over Equestria.
"Dash, i'm not leaving."
"NO. Go away! i. want. to be. alone."
"But, right now you're hurt. i'm not leaving when a friend is in pain."
"But i'm not in pain! so leave!" a single tear ran down her face. she was trying to fight the erudge to cry. which always ends in even more tears.
Rainbow's POV ' i'm not in pain.' What was i thinking? anybody can clearly see that i'm trying not to cry. but i'm not about to break down again like i did with flutters. she's the only one i've ever done that in front of. i could never do it in front of a wonder-bolt let alone soarin' a few more tears ran down my face as soarin' stood there with a concerned look on his face. his gaze alone made me feel weak. before i completely broke down i did the next best thing. i slowly backed to the edge of the cloud.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm..."
"Rainbow?"
"... sorry." i blasted into the sky looking down at soarin'. he looked hurt. i couldn't bare it and turned around.
"Why? why can't you trust me?" he mumbled watching rainbow fly off.
else where: "i can't. i just can't." rainbow mumbled in to the air before she landed on a cloud and collapsed. to her knees. tears running down her face. she sniffled softly. hearing a gental thud she turned around.
"hey? what happened to the strong and loyal girl everyone talks about?"
standing behind rainbow was scootaloo. she was older know plus finally got her cutie mark. looking up with red eyes dash began to talk. "hey kid, whats up?"
"whats up? whats up is a Pegasus turning an innocent cloud into a storm." she stated pointing down.
rainbow scratched the back of her head nervously as she saw the cloud. "ha, oops" she started jumping on the cloud turning it white. "it's that obvious, huh?"
"oh yeah. so what's got Rainbow Danger Dash crying like a foal?"
"well your an orphan right?" scoots nodded with a sad smile. " Guess im part of the club because found out my dad died on a mission yesterday. and i don't have a mom." scoots patted rainbow's back with her cooper wing.
"oh cheer up. you'll see. being an orphan has actually made me stronger. i'm sure it'll make you stronger too." with that she gave rainbow a 2 fingered sillute and flew off.
scootaloo's pov i flew off after my piece of wisdom then i bumped into someone.
"hey! watch it would you?!"
'i should say the same thing."
i froze realizing who the voice belonged to. "oh!! hey spitfire, what are you doing in ponyville."
"following soarin who's following rainbow. did you hear?"
"hear what?"
"well at HQ all the wonder-bolts are betting that eventually rainbow and soarin' are gonna end up together. they think that rainbow's dad's passing is just the thing to get them together."
i nodded that made sense. "has anything... interesting happened yet?" i asked with a smirk on my face. spitfire's eyes widened knowing full well what i meant.
"Scootaloo Madison Melody Stark. What kind of question was that coming out of the mouth of a 12 year old?"
" Yeah squirt. what kind of question was that? i thought i raised you better."
i swung around. when i did i was face to face with rainbow dash holding two HURRICANE SWORD!?!? where the hay did that come from? the ice cold look in her eyes scared me to death. "um... i was just...," i sighed," you caught me." i said holding my hands up in defeat. rainbow smirked
"i thought so... when did spits get here?" she finally noticed spitfire.
"well hey rookie what you doing with hurricane swords? towards a little girl?" she spoke pointing to scootaloo.
"oh she can handle her self. trust me. the question is why are you here? how much did you hear?"
"if you think i was eavesdropping think again. Look, over, there."
she pointed to a nearby cloud. i could see that i was slightly lumpy, well for a cloud, and then i saw somthing move. i threw my sword at it. then,
"Dammit! Rainbow?!"
"Hey lover boy," i smirked "What you doing, following me?"
"Oh, not much. but i did get to see you... break down. got to say, I've never seen you so vulnerable. but even in that state you manage to do great things."
i could feel my face getting warm I'm i blushing?! nonono, rainbow dash does not blush. i averted my gaze to him. but who doesn't blush when someone like him complements you, with his well built body, goofy smile, windswept hair. his sweet voice, and trust me when he's sweaty, right after practice, he looks like i god. i squealed.
"Um... dash? re you ok?" spitfire's words reached my ears, i realized i just squealed. out loud.
"Uh.. yeah I'm... totally fine. just ... thinking."
"bout what?"
"None of your business. i have to go so later." i flew off towards canterlot. i had to go see twilight.
A.N: soo there will be a bit of a ... i guess you could say sex scene but it's only in this chapter there for i did not put it as a tag. i will put a little warning before the part just so you know.
"Twilight. Twilight. Ugh... Where are you?" i can't stand it. i've been looking for hours and there's no sign of her. i'm getting real impatient. It's amazing how she's the girl that has everything planned out, down to the last second, yet you can't find her. Seriously, how does someone do that?! it's like she can see everything and makes sure no one she wants can't find her.
"TWILIGHT!!! Where in BLOODY HELL are you!!??!"
"Rainbow Mariam Dash! Don't be so rude! Let alone the fact that you're in the CASTLE in the middle of a VERY IMPORTANT MEETING!!"
"Jeez, calm down twilight. i just came to talk to you. So don't be so uptight."
"Says the girl that yelled out looking for me." she said it with a flat look.
my cheeks felt slightly warm. "W-well, that doesn't matter. what matters is that i need to talk to you. Now."
"Oh,alright. Just hold up ok. there's still about 30 minutes till the meeting ends. just go wait in my quarters."
"Fine." i mumbled. i hated being bossed around i don't care if it's from a princess let alone my best friend, but i don't want another fight with what i have on my plate. i walked down the halls thinking about... something. in fact i didn't know why i was even thinking. there are times i just want to burst into tears than there are times i want to just want to be left alone and not have a care in the world. i go up and down, heart against mind. it's just to much. right there and then i felt like just collapsing, but i need someone to collapse on to. so i didn't break down. i just kept thinking, walking, fighting, fighting my emotions, my thoughts.
"My own thoughts? why can't i just make my mind. all this, it's to much, to much. all i can do is keep my guard up. that's all i can do for now. but why? Why is that all i can do? I'm either to weak not to show, or strong enough to let it down."
rainbow spoke quietly to her self, unaware of the one in the shadows. following her every move. Having a black cloak matching the shadows. a belt unknown contents rowed along. a pack on their back. the softest feathers pointing out. the finest wood underneath. but did rainbow notice, no. she kept walking.
"Who goes there?" shouted a deep voice. i spun around and came face to face with the royal guards.
"Whoa. calm down, i just hear to go the Princess Twilight's quarters." i kept walking, then a huge white feathered wing swept in front of my.
"You may not pass without permission. sorry miss."
"Do you know who i am?" i asked my voice slowly filling with rage,"I'm Rainbow Dash. Fastest wonder-bolt, The Element of Loyalty, One of Miss Sparkles Closest friends. If you don't believe my i can get all the proof you need." she smirked because she knew the guards would say to get the proof and stuff and she'd have a good reason to yell. because she really needed to to yell at someone or something.
"Prove it that miss Dash." the voiced called out.
"TWILIGHT GET YOU ASS OVER HEAR AND TELL YOUR GUARDS TO BUCKING LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!" i sighed and got a smile on my face after that. "I needed that."
the guards stood with shocked looks on their faces. A flash of purple-pink light appeared next to Dash.
"Rainbow Dash!!! For the last time please watch your language. i don't care if you call for me just watch your language!"
"Sorry." i said all defensively.
"Guards let her through. She a good friend. here to talk about some classified stuff."
i smiled. content when the guards opened the doors just. for. me. i stuck my tongue out at them.
"Rainbow."
"Sorry ma'am."
I walked into the fancy, luxurious sweet. filled with shelves of books, violet curtains, stared covers, and anything else a bookworm princess needed. even though it wasn't my style i had to say, the place was stylish. then i noticed her bed and my wings shot straight up. she took my advice and got a queen, doubled-fluffed, wing stitched cloud bed. just like the one i have back home. i ran and jumped right on top of the covers, putting my head on the pillows. i was soo tired, from everything today. the bed was so comfortable. i closed my eyes and soon drifted off to sleep.
I was running, or flying. everything around me was a blur. my heart beating a thousands miles per minute. i turned around throwing something. i didn't know what it was, but it felt like i had always had it. it was long, almost crystal clear, sharp and smooth. plus i had a cloak, one of the purest black, my name itched into it in bright silver, like the moonlight its self. through some headphones and a microphone i heard whispers.
"Captain! What do we do? our numbers have dropped down to 10."
"10?! we brought 20 along. jeez, they're good. Try to find the others, then retreat. we don't have enough favors on our side this time. got it?"
"Got it!"
"Good i'll lead them away while you and the team does that. meet at stark peak when done."
i cut of communication, and made a U turn. the guards that were chasing me had faces of fear and shock. i passed by them in a heartbeat, weaving in between as easy as pie. I quickly ran, my foot-steps as quiet as a mice, almost as fast as a sonic-rainboom.
"GET HER!! SHE'S GAINING SPEED! IF THAT KEEPS UP WE'LL NEVER CATCH HER!!"
that seemed to get the guards moving. there were some unicorns but mostly pegasi. charging full speed. I smiled! i quit running, and before the guards crashed into me i threw a small sphere down. There was a boom, rainbow-colored smoke and i was gone. in my place the words 'You just got rain-bombed' were in the colors of the light spectrum. ********* I sat at stark peak, waiting. praying to Celestia and Luna that my team was ok. i heard the ruffle of feathers behind me, along with hoof-steps. i spun around.
"Is everyone alright?" i asked scanning the crowd. they all shook their heads yes. "Any serious injuries?" then there were a few nods. i sighed. "Bring them up" i ordered as i walked into the tent behind me. inside was a staff of medical assistants. i told them to go there. there were also 5 'elders' waiting. i took off my cloak handing it to the staff.
"Well done Mistress. 45 minutes. but you did not get what you were asked to get. at least you have your whole team."
i smirked, "Who said i didn't get it?" i pulled out a card about the size of a dollar bill. it was moon-platinum aloy. one of the hardest and most lethal metals in Equestria. there is a metal stronger but it's classified. i flung the metal over to the table, landing right in front of the director.
he smiled "That is why you are our top spy, and our leader."
remember me saying they were 'elders'? well, 'elders' doesn't necessarily mean leaders. that would be me. i'm the leader now... that.............. i can't say it. ******** i went to my quarters. and fell asleep the instant my head hit the pillow.
I heard a scream.
"Spectrum is that you?!" i yelled "Are you watching a scary movie again?" there was no reply. i grabbed my swords and went down stairs.
"Hello? Mom? Dad? Spectrum? Where are you guys?" i asked into the darkness. a candled flickered in the distance. i heard a muffled groan come from my left. From pure instinct i jumped and stood at a battle stance. i saw a shadow-y figure.

Soarin's POV
Thank Celestia the drop opened when it did. If it hadn't I would be griffin food by now.
I saw rainbow drop out and fly to the front to tell the captain everything's clear. I swear, she's is the biggest enigma ever. Guess I'll just have to figure her out. honestly, I've never really seen rainbow talk to the other wonderbolts for more than a few minutes when the topic wasn't related to shows, or practices, or training. Great, twilight ruins all the fun. I was actually hoping soarin' would bite back so that I could go on a rant. I have wayyy too much pent up energy from that four hour wait.

Soarin's POV
The plaque rainbow was looking at was HUGE. It was as tall as about 3 of me stacked on top of one another. and I'm 6' 10"! It had something written in red through the middle but I had no idea what it said but some how it seemed familiar. weird huh?
I went up to touch the wooden, sparkling as if just polished. my fingertips brushed the surface at first, then I put my entire hand onto the words.

three groups of about 10 ponies each marched out of a large gym-like room through the ceilings, doors, and windows.

I came back to reality gasping for air. I looked around me and saw that everyone had a worried look on their faces. at first I was confused because I came back to, right? But then I saw rainbow, her hand on the plaque, with spacy looking eyes and… tears?!
Rainbow’s POV
I saw Soarin’ put his hand on the plaque then get a spacy look in his eyes, he started mumbling random words that sounded like they were in another language. Looking towards the crest, I think it’s a crest anyway, I put my hand on the words, right next to his.
9“Iridis!” she had 6 clear, crystal half foot long spikes tucked in between her fingers.
“I know!” she yelled back. She and her companion were in the middle of about 50 invaders. All of them closing in, and with the invaders, tied up with a scythe to his neck, was her lover. The one she shared her darkest secrets to the happiest moments with. The fear in her eyes was almost to the limit a few tears falling down here and there. She was sure the opponents could see it dance around her cornea, along with the killer intent that matched up to the fear, 100 to 100. She would not let them take away the most important thing to her after they took her life before leader. She would NOT take it.
She charged so fast that no one could see her. the only trace was a blur. But the opposition was just fast enough to barely keep up.
She got within feet of her man when the blade started swooping back, and about to come down.
“NO!” the blade was an inch away from his neck, about to take the life of her last family.
“NO!!!” my eyes snapped open, my lungs gasping for air. my world started going black. I felt dizzy, weak, helpless. I hated feeling like that, like a newborn filly. The ground was growing bigger, the light dimmer. The last thing I remember is warm, strong arms wrapping around me and the yelling of my name.
“Rainbow! RAINBOW!!”
Third POV
A member of the magic guard, twilights guards, sent to keep watch over the three walked off to a deserted hallway and took out a mirror. the mirror blinked on, showing an image of princess celestia in the throne room.
“They have Touched, Heard, Seen, Tasted and Felt. I repeat. They have Touched, Heard, Seen, Tasted and Felt.” the stallion turned off the mirror and came back to the main room to see the rest of the guards put Rainbow dash on a stretcher and take her to her room.

“The time has come, I just hope they’re ready.” and with that she walked away to her bed, Dusk was approaching.
