Jacob goes to sleep one night after dinner, and when he wakes up, he finds himself a pony! What happened?
After a strange occurrence in the pony world, Jacob finds himself turn from human to pony over night. Will he ever be able to turn back into a human, or will he be a pony forever? Find out in this exiting story about Jacob's pony adventure!
Jacob had no desire to open his eyes. They felt heavy, and his head hurt too. He heard a twinkling sound, then a thud. Twinkle, thud. Twinkle, thud. What was going on? His eyelids slowly flickered open, revealing the wooden ceiling above him. Jacob smiled. That was his favorite sight in the morning. Wait a minute - what? His roof didn't have a wooden roof. Well, it did, but not like this one! His was wooden planks! Not a log! Where in the world was he?
He blinked his heavy eyes and turned his aching head. Beside him was a bookshelf, with more books that he had ever seen in his room. Or even in his house. Yep, he was defiantly not in his home. Twinkle, thud. There was that sound again! He turned again to see a lavender blob. His vision wasn't very good at the moment. He rubbed his eyes, blinked, ad looked again. This time, he couldn't believe what he saw.
It was a pony, a lavender pony. No, not a pony, a unicorn! This has to be a dream, this can't be real. Unicorns are fake! he thought. The unicorn's horn glowed, and a book was lifted off the shelves and thumped onto the table. That was obviously the source of the sound. The pony turned, and her eyes lit up as she saw Jacob. "Oh good! You're awake! I was hoping you might wake up soon, I have some things to do, so I want to at least keep you occupied. Do you read Harry Potter? I hear that's a human book, and I found a copy!" she rambled. "Who...who..." Jacob stammered. "Who am I? Oh, sorry! I'm Twilight Sparkle, and I'm a unicorn from Canterlot who moved here to Ponyville to study friendship." Twilight explained. "Canterlot? Ponyville? What?" Jacob stammered in shock.
"Hm, I suppose I should explain. See, I learned a new spell," Twilight started. "It picks a random human from the human world, and brings them into the pony world, and along with that, turns them into a pony!". Jacob froze. What was that last part? Was he...no...no...he...he couldn't be! He looked down at his hands. They weren't hands at all. They were bright, lime green hooves.
Then, everything went black. When he woke up again, it was because Twilight was shaking him. "Human boy? Are you ok? Are you hurt? Are you sick?" she asked cautiously. "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. Just...I'm so...so..." he felt sick. "Do you need some help getting up?" Twilight asked. Jacob nodded, and she lifted him off the bed and helped him to his feet. "Now I know this is awfully sudden, but I need you to make a decision. You can change your answer later, but just for now, do you want to be an earth pony, a Pegasus, or a unicorn?" she asked.
"Um, I guess I'll be a unicorn." said Jacob as a horn appeared on his head. "So...where will I live? I don't know anything about ponies! Where do ponies live? Is this...is this a tree? Do ponies live in trees?" he blabbered. "No, of course not!" Twilight spat back defensively. "Ponies live in houses, but I happen to live in a tree. Anyways, you can live with me."
"Sounds cool. Where's the bathroom?" Jacob asked, looking around. Twilight cocked her head. "A what now?" she questioned. "Nevermind, I'll handle it later. I wanna go see Ponyville." Jacob pleaded. "Alright, but be back real soon! There are some major tests I want to run on you. Do humans have names?" asked Twilight. "Yeah, my name is Jacob.". "Well, just so you know, nobody can know you're a human, okay Jacob? You need a pony name, and a fake cutie mark. Let's start with the fake cutie mark." Twilight rambled.
"I've got it! Okay Jacob, your new name is Emerald Spark. I'll give you an emerald cutie mark, and you can be on your way into Ponyville!". "Wait, I changed my mind! I think I want to be a Pegasus!" Jacob rushed. Twilight rolled her eyes, and her horn glowed, then, a cutie mark and wings appeared on Jacob, and his horn vanished. He smiled with satisfaction, and trotted out the door. It was time to fly!
Wait - How do you work wings again? Do you just flap them? But how do you do that? Jacob focused all his thoughts on moving his wings, and then, gave a light flap, and he was slowly moving up into the air. Then faster, and stronger, now he was flying! He couldn't wait to tell Dev - Oh wait, his brother wasn't here, his brother was at home. He soared faster and faster, until suddenly, he head a crashing thud, and everything went black.
When he finally woke up, two big wide magenta eyes were staring into his. They blinked, and then widened even more. "Get off of me!" Jacob huffed, shoving the pony off of him. "Jeez, sorry! Calm down dude!" the pony spat back. "Sorry, I'm just...what happened?". "We crashed into each other, and you blacked out. Kid, you gotta control those wings, really. Anyway, I'm RAINBOW DASH!!!" she cheered for herself.
She blew a spike of yellow hair out of her eyes. "And you are?" she asked. "I'm Emerald Spark, and I'm new to Ponyville." Jacob answered. Rainbow Dash gasped and grabbed Jacob, racing upwards and throwing him into a cloud. "You gotta hide before Pinkie Pie finds you!" she whispered, flying off. Jacob was confused. Who was Pinkie Pie? "Who's gotta hide before I find them?" yipped a high pitched voice. That must be Pinkie Pie.
"Oh no! Fly Emerald!" Rainbow screamed, racing off. Jacob tried to race off, but instead, yanked himself out of the cloud and flopped face first onto the ground. Pinkie Pie gasped loudly, and raced off. Jacob peeled his face off the ground the sighed. He wanted to go home now.
Jacob continued to walk through Ponyville. What was he going to do? First of all, he just wanted to at least go to the bathroom. He couldn't think straight when he had to go. He walked down the streets, looking for any kind of forest. Finally, he came to the edge of a small forest, and dashed in. After digging a hole and figuring out how to go as a pony, he walked back out and back to Twilight's house. "Twilight?" he called. Suddenly, his stomach twisted up, and he felt dizzy. "Twilight's I'm feeling sick. Can I...can I lie down somewhere?" he asked. And then, he passed out.
"Jacob? Jacob! Jacob, wake up! Are you okay? Jacob?" prodded Twilight, shaking a dazed and confused Jacob. "Yeah, yeah. What happened? Last thing I remember I was standing here, and then, I started feeling sick, and now I'm here? Huh?" Jacob moaned. "Jacob, listen to me. I did some tests, and you're unstable. You're going to be very sensitive, and you may feel sick at times. Come back to the library as fast as possible when you do, or if you're far away, just take one of these. They aren't as effective, but they'll work." Twilight explained, placing a pill bottle in Jacob's hoof.
Jacob nodded, and walked down the stairs with Twilight into the basement, where a mattress lay on the floor. "You can stay here. Just remember Jacob, you're unstable!" Twilight warned, leaving the room. Jacob flopped onto the mattress and sighed. He didn't want to be unstable, and he wanted to go home. He pulled himself onto his feet, and walked out of the house into Ponyville. He glanced around dully, not seeing anything interesting. He fluttered up into the air, sighing with boredom and grumpiness as he did so.
It was so unfair! Not only did he have to be a stupid pony, but he had to be an unstable one! What was a boy to do? After all, he was only 15. He hadn't gone to college, he hadn't graduated, and now he would never be able to do any of that. He would never see his family again, and he would never go on a date with Emma, and he would never see his dog again, and - his thoughts were interrupted by a sudden blow to the face. It wasn't a hard blow, but it was a blow, never the less. He felt claws in his cheek, and he started to get dizzy. His stomach started to twist up. I have to get back to the library! Jacob thought to himself, racing off to the library.
"Twilight!" he shouted, bursting through the doorway. Twilight bounded down the stairs. "Instability?" Twilight rushed. Jacob nodded, and passed out. When he woke up, he was lying on his mattress in Twilight's basement. "W-what happened?" he muttered. Twilight trotted down the stairs with a worried look on her face. "Jacob? Are you awake?" she asked. "Yeah, yeah. I'm gonna head back outside, I just need some fresh air, that's all." he murmured, getting up and trotting upstairs. Twilight followed him. Suddenly, a knock on the door.
"Oh, hey Fluttershy! What's up?" asked Twilight, opening the door. "Oh, um, hi Twilight. Is there a, um, green pony here? With purple hair, and an, um emerald cutie mark?" Fluttershy asked. "Oh, you mean Emerald Spark? Yes, he's here!" Twilight smiled nervously. She didn't want ponies really talking to Jacob that much. She didn't know quite why, it was just something about it that made her feel...oh, what's the word again...jealous. Something about Jacob made her feel tingly inside. He really was a handsome stallion, with his soft purple hair and his perfect lime green coat. She knew that someday, their eyes would lock in love, and they'd wed, have two foals, both unicorns, named Dawn Shine and Night Shimmer, and live happily forever.
"Oh, well, can I talk to him? Please? If it isn't too much trouble?" Fluttershy asked. "Um, sorry Fluttershy, but he's feeling a bit sick right now." Twilight lied. "No I'm not! Who ever it is, I'd love to talk!" Jacob shouted, smirking as he did so. "I'll be right over!". He ran up and shoved Twilight out of the way. "Hi, my name is Emerald and - Whoa..." he melted as he stopped Fluttershy. Her long pink mane puddled on the ground, and her smile could give a fire a sunburn. She truly was beautiful. "Hi, my name is Emerald Spark. What's...what's yours?" he gushed. Fluttershy blushed. "Um...my name is...um...Fluttershy." she whispered. "Sorry?" asked Jacob. Suddenly, a spark went off in Fluttershy. The way the sun was coming down on Emerald's pale lime face and glittering blue eyes was just perfect. The way he lightly tilted his head in the doorway of Twilight's library was irresistible.
The way his smooth, fresh voice asked for her name was all just so incredible. She had never felt love like this before! She wanted Emerald to bend down on one knee right there and take her hoof in marriage, the wedding would be in the meadow , with the most amazing flowers and critters, and then, they would have a filly, just one, beautiful filly, named Meadow Lark, and they would be happy for the rest of their lives. "My name is Fluttershy!" she grinned, flapping her wings with delight. "I just came over to apologize for earlier, when my bunny scratched your cheek. I'm so sorry, I never meant for that to happen.".
"It's fine, really!" blushed Jacob, pressing his hoof to his cheek. "It doesn't hurt too much anymore, just a bit of...well...stinging.". "Oh, well, that's good, I think. Hey, do you want to, um, maybe, go to the meadow? We're, um, having a picnic. You can come, if you want, that is.". Twilight booted Jacob out of the way with a jealous huff. "Sorry Fluttershy, but I don't think Jacob really wants to go on some little animal picnic. Bye, Fluttershy!" she breathed, slamming the door. "But - I - " Fluttershy stammered, then turned and walking away.
Jacob's thoughts whirled. "What the heck was that?!" he snapped. "I don't want you talking to her anymore!" Twilight shot back. "Why not, Twilight? Why not?!". "Because...because...because..." Twilight's eyes began to well with tears. "You don't know why! You just don't like other ponies talking to me because you're selfish! You'll always be selfish! You don't care about anybody but yourself!" Jacob was enraged. He didn't care how much he was hurting Twilight. "I don't want you talking to her because...I made you! You're my creation, and I own you! You're nothing but a human living a lie, and you'll only ever be a pony forever! You'll never be a human again, and nobody will ever respect you like they used to, so just shut up!" Twilight spat. Jacob was stunned. His face twisted up in an expression of hatred and disgust.
All hope and color seemed to drain from his world. His thoughts seemed to mush together into a big blob of confusion, he looked around his, and could barely see through the pure hate clogging his mind. "Twilight, make me a unicorn. Now." he breathed. Twilight sighed, and a horn appeared on Jacob's head, and his wings vanished. Without a word, he galloped down the stairs and used magic to carry his mattress, pillow, and blanket. "I'm leaving!" he screamed over his shoulder, tossing his bottle of pills over his shoulder. "Jacob, wait! I didn't mean - " *SLAM*. The door shut behind Jacob as he left. He walked for a while, until he came to a dark alleyway. Finally, after hours, he dropped his things and fell to his knees. The ground was wet and dirty, but he didn't care. He was angry, he was upset, he was sad, he was thirsty, he was hungry, and he really had to go to the bathroom.
He looked at his surroundings. The walls were brick, the ground was asphalt, and a big green dumpster was up against the wall to his left. Three garbage bags sat beside it. after hopping into the dumpster and using the bathroom in it, he decided to find something to eat. Dear god, I'm starving. What can I possibly find to eat here? I'm in an alley full of garbage. he thought.
Jacob sniffed at a garbage bag, and recoiled in disgust. Whatever was in there, it probably wasn't food. He was starving. He was thirsty. He was tired. He missed his family. So he dug his face into his mattress, and cried. After a few hours of crying, he sniffled, and turned over onto his back and stared up at the starry black sky. He traced the constellations with his vision. His eyelids half closed, and he smiled a tiny bit. Twilight loved constellations. Twilight had hurt him deep, and she couldn't be forgiven yet.
Slowly, he drifted off to sleep. When he woke up, he was even more starving than he had been yesterday. His mouth was like sandpaper, and he shivered lightly with undernourishment. He looked at his coat. it was filthy, a greeny-brown color with dirt caked to it. "Oh my stars darling, whatever are you doing in the trash?" asked a posh voice. Jacob's attention shot up towards the voice.
"And darling, your coat! Follow me, let's go back to Ponyville, I have a boutique there," she gushed. "and get you all fixed up! By the way, my name is Rarity, Rarity the unicorn.". Rarity stared contently at the filthy pony. Even though he was dirty, his blue eyes made his look incredible. She could picture herself walking down the aisle, with him at the end. They would get married and have a filly named Sapphire Shine. It would be amazing!
"Oh dear god, thank you." he melted. He stood to his shaky knees and carefully walked beside Rarity. He stumbled a few times during their walk, and then, fell to the ground about halfway to Ponyville. "I'm so sorry Rarity, but I just can't. I'm too hungry, to tired, too thirsty. I'm going to see if there's any food around here some where. Rarity gave him a sympathetic frown. "It's okay, just go to sleep, I'll carry you with my horn." she said. Jacob nodded, and drifted off to sleep. When he woke up, he was in a bathtub, covered in soap. He dunked under the water to wash the soap off, then poked his head back up. After cleaning himself thoroughly, he stepped out and dried off, draining the bath as he did so.
"Rarity?" he called, stepping out into the hallway. "Come down stairs, darling!" she called from below. Jacob smiled at her as he came down. Her curling, shiny mane was so beautiful in the light of the dusk stars. Rarity's smile made his cheeks burn, and her voice could grow a flower. At least that's what Jacob thought. Her eyes were so bold and hopeful. "Follow me, I made you something to eat!" she grinned, walking off the the kitchen.
On the table was an amazing plate of hay fries, and a daffodil and daisy sandwich. It looked delicious. "Oh my god Rarity, thank you so much!" he cheered, jumping into his seat and plowing through his food. Rarity giggled. Then, a knock on the door. "Oh, by the way, my name is Emerald Spark." Jacob added between bites. Rarity swung the door open, and Twilight stood there, looking tired and distressed. Something was obviously troubling her greatly. "Hey Rarity, I'm here to try on the dresses you told me about. I decided I may want to buy one after." she sighed. Jacob froze at the voice. He had already eaten all his food, so could he run away to upstairs? Should he just sit there and act like Twilight didn't exist? Twilight trotted into the boutique.
Jacob carefully walked out of the kitchen. "Rarity, I better head home. Hopefully I can see you again real soon." he frowned. "Emerald, there is no way I'm letting you go live in a dump in South Detrot forever. You can live here, darling, you can sleep in the first room to your right, that's the guest room, but now it can be your room." she smiled sweetly. "EMERALD!" screamed Twilight, running over to him and tackling him to the ground in a hug. "My Celestia I've missed you so much! Where did you go? Please Emerald, please come home!" she choked out between sobs, hugging him tighter.
Jacob frowned an anger frown and shoved her away. "No! Rarity treats me like a real pony! Rarity is letting me live here, feeding me, and she even carried me home! She even let me take a bath! You never did any of that! Rarity, I'm gonna take a nap, thank you so much for all you've done." he smiled weakly. Twilight's sobs were muffled by her forelegs.
Jacob flopped back onto the plush bed and sighed in relief. A bottle of water sat on the bedside table. He took a sip, and thought hard. He was thinking hard about Twilight and her lavender coat, purple mane with the long pink streak, glistening eyes, shining smile, he used to have such a crush on that pony. Until everything changed. Until she didn't want him anymore. Until he didn't want her. Until Rarity took him in.
His mind was swirling. Fluttershy, Rarity, Twilight. What a choice. Twilight's sobs could still be heard from downstairs, and they made Jacob think even harder. A light knock on his door. Jacob grunted and rolled over. "It's Rarity." called a concerned voice. "Come in." Jacob called back. The door creaked open and Rarity stepped in, frowning. "Emerald, are you okay? Can I get you anything? Twilight just left, you can come downstairs!" she cooed. Jacob nodded, and jumped off the bed. He and Rarity walked down the stairs silently, and he sat down on the couch.
"I think I'm gonna head outside for a bit." Jacob sighed. "Okay." Rarity breathed. Jacob trotted outside, down the street and - "SURPRISE!!!" screamed Pinkie Pie. Jacob screamed and leaped into the air. "Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry Emerald, I didn't mean to scare you! I hate being scared but being surprised is fun I love being surprised do you love being surprised because being surprised is the best so I threw you this AWESOME PARTY!!!" Pinkie yipped.
The ponies around him cheered. Pinkie's smile suddenly started to melt down and she looked at Jacob, The wide smile plastering his face was adorable. His babyish face was so smooth looking, so cute. His wide blue eyes and his caring voice went together so well! The way his purple strands of has moved ever so slightly in the breeze made his shudder with pure pleasure. "Welcome to Ponyville, Emerald Spark." she gushed.
He smiled sheepishly at Pinkie Pie. She was staring at him in a way that Jacob found sort of...cute. Pinkie couldn't get the vision out of her head, two little fillies and a colt. Herself calling their names from the kitchen. "Bubblegum, Candy Cane, Chocolate Cherry! Time for dinner!" she would call. They would rush down the stairs, and sit at the table, eating quickly so they could play again.
Emerald Spark would chuckle a bit and walk to the table to join them. He would compliment her dinner, then talk about his day at work, then listen while she talked. Her eyes felt heavy, but she couldn't break the stare. Jacob finally looked away, which broke it like a twig. Pinkie shook her head, and blushed. Rainbow Dash stood with a pony beside her. "Oh, hey Rainbow Dash!" smiled Jacob. "Hey Emerald! I want you to meet my pony friend, Applejack!" she grinned. She loved that stallion like Scootaloo loved her.
"Color Cannon, time for bed!" she would call late at night. The colorful colt would come racing up the stairs, dropping his video game controller as he did so. "Heh heh, go brush your teeth and get your jammies on kid, I'll be up to tuck you into bed in just a bit." she'd chuckle. She trot into the room and pull the blanket up to his chin, and kiss him on the forehead. Emerald would walk up beside her and kiss Color Cannon, then kiss Rainbow Dash. He would utter her name. "Rainbow Dash...Rainbow Dash...".
"Rainbow Dash? Rainbow Dash! ...Rainbow Dash?" asked Jacob, waving a hoof in front of Rainbow's face. Rainbow blinked and shook her head. "Yeah, sorry, I got lost in thought for a second there." she rushed. Applejack snickered, and shook Jacob's hoof. "Well howdy there partner! I'm Applejack! I reckon y'all are the Emerald Spark ah've been hearin' so much about from Rainbow Dash?" she asked. "Indeed I am!" he smiled. That was such a beautiful name, Rainbow Dash. It gave him goosebumps just to think about it.
How her rainbow colored mane was so perfectly spiked, so perfectly...rainbow. Everything about her SCREAMED cool beauty. And that Applejack was just so tough! So beautiful! Her three little freckles made him want to melt into putty, her ponytail was incredibly flowing, and her tail bounced as she walked. Her orange coat was like silk. Rarity trotted out to join the party, wearing her party outfit. The party grew bigger, Twilight hiding somewhere in the crowd.
Suddenly, Jacob felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see just who he wanted to see. Fluttershy. "Oh, um, hello, Emerald. Long time no see." she smiled. "Fluttershy!" he grinned. "Boy am I glad to see you!". "Oh, um, me too." she smiled. Rainbow Dash noticed them chatting, and immediately felt threatened. What if he fell deeply in love with Fluttershy and completely forgot about her? What about Color Cannon? How would things go?
"Hey Fluttershy!" she shouted in an angry tone, flying above the party. The crowd went silent. "Emerald doesn't want a little filly like you anywhere near him!". Jacob gasped. "That isn't true!" he screamed. Fluttershy frowned and flapped lightly up into the sky. Rainbow Dash raced up in front of her and gave her a dirty look. "Who do you think you are?! Oh I'm Fluttershy and everybody will always love me just because I really really want them to and Jacob will love me instead of Rainbow Dash because I'm sooo great!" she mocked. "Wait just a Luna damn minute!" called Twilight from the crowd. "Jacob doesn't want you either, Rainbow Crash!". Rainbow dashed over to her. "What in Equestria did you just say to me?" she hissed. "THIS!" Twilight screamed, giving Rainbow a powerful hoof to the face. The crowd gasped and Fluttershy zoomed over to Twilight, throwing her away from Rainbow and giving her the stare. Rarity screamed and tackled Fluttershy to the ground, using her magic to yank at Fluttershy's hair.
Pinkie growled and punched Rarity hard in the horn, causing her to scream in pain and drop Fluttershy. Applejack turned and bucked Pinkie in the face, it was now all complete chaos. Jacob's horn glowed brighter than ever, and the six were lifted apart and held in place. "Everybody, stop! Just stop! I already know which one of you I love the most! Stop trying to make the decision for me! Rainbow Dash, you didn't have to do anything so insane to Fluttershy! Look at her, we were just having a normal conversation, and you came up and challenged her! What is wrong with you!?
And Twilight, Why on earth would you ever think of punching Rainbow? You are the genius of friendship! Why would you destroy it!? Fluttershy, what on earth ever possessed you to be so insane and drastic? What is wrong with you? I thought you represented KINDNESS! Rarity, that was insane! Do you know how much pain you caused Fluttershy? You made her bleed! You, Rarity, should be ashamed! Pinkie Pie, Look what you did to Rarity! You put her through so much pain, that's not funny! Applejack, you know how strong you are, why would you ever buck a friend?" Jacob fumed.
"I'll forgive you all, that's what good friends do! Forgive each other! The one I love most is the one who will always be beautiful in my eyes, and I can imagine our future! The one I love is obviously," Jacob started.

Pinkie Pie broke into tears and threw her arms around Jacob's neck.
Six months later
Twilight rubbed her sleepy eyes and opened her door. A folded paper card lay on her doorstep. She picked it up and opened it.

Twilight sighed. That could have been an invitation to her wedding. But Jacob didn't want her. He wanted Pinkie Pie. She dropped to the ground and stared up at the cloudy sky. Rainbow Dash obviously wasn't doing anything with her time. The sky had been cloudy for six months now, clouds were piling up like mad. Twilight cast her cloud walking spell, and levitated herself up onto the cloud Rainbow was resting on. "Rainbow Dash, this is enough! You haven't cleared the sky in six months! Get working!" Twilight glowered. Rainbow glared at her, and hissed. "I don't want to! Now if you'll excuse me, Twilight Sparkle, I need to go get ready for a wedding!" she shouted.
Twilight was puzzled. Why was Rainbow so upset? The wedding was soon, so Twilight better follow Rainbow's lead and go prepare.
A year later...
Pinkie Pie yawned as she placed her foal in her crib. Bubblegum's little face was adorable, so incredibly perfect and lovely. Her tiny puff of pink mane was ever so carefully showing, and her light lime green coat was so adorable. Jacob walked up carefully beside he with a tired smile on his face. They both kissed Bubblegum on the head, and walked out of the room. "I'm going to bed, goodnight Emerald." Pinkie yawned, and kissed her husband gently. "'night." he smiled, and kissed back. Pinkie went to bed, but Jacob continued down the stairs. He glanced at the clock, it was 11:00 at night. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
Jacob thought for a moment. Who on earth could that be? He opened the door, and there stood Twilight, a very serious look on her face. Jacob gasped. "Twilight, what are you doing here? I still haven't forgiven you for what happened after you sent Fluttershy away." he growled. Twilight shook her head. "Jacob, I can turn you back into a human. All you need to do is let me." she sighed.
Jacob was stunned. He hadn't seen his family in almost two years, they thought he was dead for sure. But he still missed them beyond belief. Sometimes he would think of them and cry, just because their faces were harder to remember than ever. But he loved Pinkie Pie, and Bubblegum. If he just left them, he would never see them again, but he would be home. "Goodbye Twilight." he sighed, closing the door. He just couldn't go back.
Suddenly, Jacob felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see just who he wanted to see. Fluttershy. "Oh, um, hello, Emerald. Long time no see." she smiled. "Fluttershy!" he grinned. "Boy am I glad to see you!". "Oh, um, me too." she smiled. Rainbow Dash noticed them chatting, and immediately felt threatened. What if he fell deeply in love with Fluttershy and completely forgot about her? What about Color Cannon? How would things go?
"Hey Fluttershy!" she shouted in an angry tone, flying above the party. The crowd went silent. "Emerald doesn't want a little filly like you anywhere near him!". Jacob gasped. "That isn't true!" he screamed. Fluttershy frowned and flapped lightly up into the sky. Rainbow Dash raced up in front of her and gave her a dirty look. "Who do you think you are?! Oh I'm Fluttershy and everybody will always love me just because I really really want them to and Jacob will love me instead of Rainbow Dash because I'm sooo great!" she mocked. "Wait just a Luna damn minute!" called Twilight from the crowd. "Jacob doesn't want you either, Rainbow Crash!". Rainbow dashed over to her. "What in Equestria did you just say to me?" she hissed. "THIS!" Twilight screamed, giving Rainbow a powerful hoof to the face. The crowd gasped and Fluttershy zoomed over to Twilight, throwing her away from Rainbow and giving her the stare. Rarity screamed and tackled Fluttershy to the ground, using her magic to yank at Fluttershy's hair.
Pinkie growled and punched Rarity hard in the horn, causing her to scream in pain and drop Fluttershy. Applejack turned and bucked Pinkie in the face, it was now all complete chaos. Jacob's horn glowed brighter than ever, and the six were lifted apart and held in place. "Everybody, stop! Just stop! I already know which one of you I love the most! Stop trying to make the decision for me! Rainbow Dash, you didn't have to do anything so insane to Fluttershy! Look at her, we were just having a normal conversation, and you came up and challenged her! What is wrong with you!?
And Twilight, Why on earth would you ever think of punching Rainbow? You are the genius of friendship! Why would you destroy it!? Fluttershy, what on earth ever possessed you to be so insane and drastic? What is wrong with you? I thought you represented KINDNESS! Rarity, that was insane! Rainbow Dash smiled as tears filled her eyes. "I knew it!" she squealed as she threw herself at Jacob. He chuckled, and pressed his lips to Rainbow's. Rainbow's eyes widened, but she didn't pull away. "Forget time, I want to marry you! Now!" Rainbow squeaked. Jacob kissed her again, and the crowd cooed.
Five years later...
Rainbow Dash slammed the door behind her as she staggered into her home. Jacob sighed and trotted down the stairs. Rainbow dashed to the toilet (which Jacob had finally had installed) and vomited loudly. She reeked of alcohol and bar scum. Color Cannon came rushing down the stairs. "Is mama ok?" he asked. "Yes, mama's fine. C'mon, let's go back up stairs and check on Scootaloo. She's very sick." Jacob reassured. Scootaloo coughed and pulled her small blanket closer. Color Cannon cantered into the room. His stomach grumbled desperately, but since they had no money, there was nothing to eat. He hadn't eaten in three days. Scootaloo was only just a baby, how long would she survive like this? Jacob assumed it wouldn't be very long.
Scootaloo's diaper was beggining to rip, but only because they couldn't afford a new one. Jacob couldn't watch this anymore. He grabbed Scootaloo and laid her on his back. "Color Cannon, let's go. We're leaving." he stated flatly. "But what about mama?" the multicolored colt asked. "Mama's done nothing but make us all hungry and poor, forget about mama!" he fumed. Color cowered, and followed Jacob. "Rainbow!" he screamed, entering the bathroom. "We're leaving! I'm taking the kids and we're leaving! I could have picked anypony to love and I had to pick you! Look where that got me!" he snarled. Before Rainbow could speak, Jacob and the kids had left the house.
"Kids, I can't help you, I'm not rich or powerful enough. You'll have to be on your own, I can't take care of you." tears streamed from Jacob's eyes as he spoke. He placed the foal and colt in a box. Color and Scootaloo sobbed, but all Jacob could do was walk away. Suddenly, who should he bump into, but Twilight. "Oh my Luna, Jacob! I've been looking for you for years! Five to be exact! Jacob, I can make you human again!" she cheered.
Jacob thought for a moment. His parents and brother all thought he was dead, and his current pony life was about as great as s***. "Turn me back!" he yipped. Twilight's horn glowed bright, and then, everything went black. When he awoke, it was to the sight of a wooden ceiling above his head. It wasn't a log, it was a real wooden ceiling. HIS wooden ceiling. How would he explain this to his family? He tried to think of a good way to make an entrance. He pried open his window, hopped out, and jumped to the ground. It was very hard to walk on two feet after six years of hooves.
He stood tall, and checked his watch. 9:00 pm. He took a deep breath, and knocked three firm knocks on the door. "Coming!" called his mother's voice. The door swung open and her round, smooth face smiled at him. Then, she froze. Her smile fell, and her eyes widened. "JACOB!!!" she screamed, sobbing and hugging him tighter than ever before. His father and brother came stampeding down the stairs. Once they saw Jacob, they followed his mother's lead.
After about six years, Rainbow Dash's alcohol addiction ended, and she straightened out. She has no memory of ever marrying or having kids, and Scootaloo was too young to ever remember her. Color Cannon didn't survive. After a week, he died of starvation, and was buried a month afterwards.

Six Months Later...
Fluttershy flapped her wings gently, fluttering gently outside. A note lay on her door step. She cocked her head in confusion, and read it on the ground.

Ten Years Later...
Dusk Star kicked and flailed as Jacob carried him to bed. But I'm not tired! I don't want to go to bed! Stop it! Stop it!" he hissed. Jacob smirked and dropped him onto the mattress. "It's way past your bedtime, Dusk! You shouldn't even be awake!" he reminded. Dusk huffed and dove under the covers. Jacob chuckled, leaving the room.
As he walked into the basement, he noticed Twilight sitting at her desk, furiously reading her newest spell. He had bought her that desk nine years ago, a year after they got married. Twilight had loved it, and had been using it happily ever since. This time, when he saw it, he noticed something. An aged piece of paper, judging by his magic, 9 years old, was crumpled and stashed under a leg of the desk. "What's this?" asked Jacob, lifting the desk slightly and pulling the paper out.
"No! Wait! Don't read that!" Twilight wailed. But it was too late. Jacob's face was already twisting up in rage.
Human to Pony Reversal Spell Turn a human pony into a human again!
"How could you?" he hissed, tossing the paper to the ground and storming out of the room, leaving Twilight to sob. Late that night, around 11:50, Jacob silently tiptoed down the stairs. It was colder in the basement, and darker. He held a match in his magical aura, adding light to the room. He looked to his feet, and there is was. The spell. He could cast it, and be human again, with his beautiful, loving mom and dad, and his brother, too.
*clunk*
the door swung shut, and the gust created by it extinguished the match. It was pitch black, and the sound of hooves against wood could clearly be heard from behind them. A hoof lit two candles that were carefully set on the desk. "Hey Jacob." cooed Twilight, her crazy, wild eyes being slightly illuminated by the glowing amber candle light. Twilight's magic glowed, and the candle light dimly lit the entire room. Twilight's mane was messy, and her violet coat was stained with a dark red liquid, the worst one of all. Blood.
"Dusk Star and Dawn Shine are gone now, it's just you and me, you and me forever, and nobody else!" she laughed maniacally. Jacob whimpered and cowered down, sobbing at the loss of his children. It all rushed to him at once, the pain, the devastation, the sorrow, the fear.
Twilight yanked a machete out and laughed her mental laugh again, charging at Jacob. Jacob screamed and tried to run, but tripped in his fear and shock. Twilight cackled and drove the machete fiercely into Jacob's flesh. Jacob screamed and sobbed out in pain, releasing his bladder onto the wooden floor. Twilight began to carve Jacob like a Jack-O-Lantern, him screaming and dying as she did so. His vision began to blur, his mind blanked, his bowels released, and he started to die of blood loss. Twilight smiled wide and held up a large "T" she had carved out of Jacob's flesh. Then, it happened. Jacob died.
Twilight licked her blade clean, giggling as she did so. she carried Jacob into his room, and laid him on the bed, yanking the covers back. She could at least have more fun. She grabbed Jacob's member and inserted it into hers, moaning with pleasure as she raped his corpse. Then, her mad insanity kicked in again. She giggled joyfully and grabbed her machete, slicing his member off in a second, and then his balls. She grabbed the first ball, suckled the blood off, and popped it in her mouth, swallowing it. Then, the other. Next, the member. This was Twilight's fun. She crammed it down her throat and began to choke, finally giving into death.
Jacob and Twilight both lay dead, Jacob never knowing that in the next room, his kids lay dead, too.
