Scootaloo got a home, a wonderful older sister and the best friends she could ask for. Happily, Rainbow Dash and her have lived together for quite some time, and have learned plenty of new things during their newfound life as a family.

If things could stay like this forever, Scootaloo wouldn't mind. Well, if she could get her cutie mark before too long, that'd be great too.

But no matter how much a little pegasus wants things to stay like they were, life has a funny way of changing for the worse.

Sequel to 'Home is Where the Heart is'.

Frustration is all that Rainbow Dash has been getting out of her training lately. No routine is going right, and for the first time, Rainbow Dash is doubting her wings.

In a desperate attempt to become better, she seeks out some friends of her past, that belong there for certain reasons, and receives something that will make her better, faster and stronger.

But what consequences will this new substance have for Rainbow's flying career and friendships, when it not only changes her body, but also her mind?

Scootaloo came to Ponyville as an orphan, and has been struggling with just that fact ever since her arrival. But recently she's been wondering why she became an orphan, and many things are brought to question, such as why she was abandoned. Was she not worth anything to her parents, but more importantly, if she wasn't worth anything, were she not special, and how would she then get her important cutie mark? This story will depict how the questions and their answers will affect the various relationships between Scootaloo and her friends.
