One B-1 Lancer with an Escort of two F-35 Joint Strike Fighters flew at an immense speed of Mach 1.1 over the skies of Equestria.

“Zulu Two to Zulu Actual, one mike until objective, over,” the co-pilot of the B-1 spoke into the radio of the aircraft.

“Zulu Actual to Zulu Two, good copy. Make America proud, out.” The radio cut out, leaving only the hum of the engines to hear.

“Zulu One to Zulu Two, Zulu Three,” the pilot of the first F-35 spoke into his radio. “Half a mike until destination, stay frosty. Out.”

"Nic, you ready?” asked the pilot, not looking at his friend.

“Yeah, just a little nervous, that’s all.”

He checked over the LCD screens once again, making sure everything onboard the B-1 was functioning properly. Everything need to go perfectly for this mission to be a success.

“Zulu Two to Zulu One, Zulu Three, Zulu Actual. Arming payload, I repeat arming payload. Out,” the co-pilot once again spoke into the radio. He hit a multitude of switches, causing various things on the LCD screen to change.

“Zulu Two to Zulu One, Zulu Three, Zulu Actual. Commencing bombing mission over grid 088062.” He flipped up a glass casing, and took a deep breath.

He pushed a flashing red button.

The nuke released from its rack inside of the bomber, dropping like a stone whilst the three jets zoomed away. It fell, and fell, and fell, until it created a bright flash, and a big explosion.

The Americans just nuked Canterlot.
