I love it! You have suburb writing talent! Your work so far makes me want more. Did you write this?
Renee watched as the sun slowly set behind the large manor. The two glass rooms on the west side of the mansion looked as welcoming as ever because of the sun’s rays prancing off of the glass. About three dozen birds sat and about four dozen zoomed happily about in the room. The entire mansion was filled to the brim with books of all sorts. This was mainly because her parents were ornithologist and had to document each type of bird plus had to learn about different environments so they could visit birds. (An ornithologist is a person who studies birds)
”Sweet heart its dinner time!” Miss Eleanora, the maid, screamed in her high pitched voice. “I told you at least a million times! My name is Renee, not “sweet heart”. “Alright, alright, I will call you Renee! Just come!” said Miss Eleanora, losing her tolerance. Renee gradually got up from the small bench and began to walk on the bird shaped steps, past the bird shaped hedges and through the arch which bore a strange engraving of a bird raped up by a snake with considerable large fangs. She had always wondered what the sign meant but never bothered to ask. She figured her parents just liked it.
Renee, who was only 10 years old at the moment, was an extraordinarily pretty girl. She had black ringlets and swoop bangs. She had bright jade eyes that glinted when she laughed. Renee didn’t laugh often though. She was a very serious girl, until… “Renee! Hurry up!” Miss Eleanora shouted sharply.
At the dinner table, Miss Eleanora told Renee about a girl who called. This girl wanted to know if Renee wanted to be “acquaintances”. “Who, and why” Renee asked immediately in a snotty voice. “Calisa and because you always look so forlorn.” replied Miss Eleanora. “I do NOT look forlorn, Miss Eleanora! I look just like you do!” Renee shot back angrily. “Well, either way, you’re going to her house to play tomorrow! Now eat up and off to bed young lady!” Renee walked up the twisted stairs and waited for Miss Eleanora to call her back down. “Renee, homework!” “Right on time” Renee thought.
“Hi! I’m Calisa! Nice to meet you! I would like to go watch a movie in my basement, come on!” Calisa was so happy to have a friend finally.
This is my story make it better and less... boring....
