How I became a Brony

I first became interested in MLP:FiM quite by accident, starting off with the parody web series, Friendship is Witchcraft. After  listening to an interview with the creators of the parody, I thought I'd check out the actual show to see for myself what the allure was. It took about four episodes for me to really warm up to it, but by the end of the first season I had completely fallen in love with the characters.

Where my story comes from

Through my various excursions into the works of the fanbase, I came across the concept of the Lunar Republic vs. the Solar Empire. This piqued my interest immediately and inspired me to write my own story. I wanted a story focusing more on political intrigue centering around a schism between the Princess Sisters rather than an actual war, but first I needed a solid reason why Luna and Celestia were at odds. Which apparently required an entirely new story. Thus Stories of the Changeling War was born.
