This is just a quick collection that I decided to throw together.  I like doing quick stories, so I figured I'd write several little dark one-shots with a similar background and compile them into a single story.  They're really brief and mostly serve as an artistic study on my ability to create characters and set a mood.  There's very little story development, it's more of a collection of scenes, but it's something I got myself interested in so I figured I'd try it out.  Criticism is always welcomed, so if you like the story and/or think I need to improve my skills both as a writer and as a teller of stories, please leave a comment saying how.

(Oh, by the way, before anyone says anything, this is in no connection to the "Ask Magpie" Tumblr, I actually didn't even know that existed until after I started writing this and was looking around various websites for good cover images, happy coincidence.)

As always, I don't own anything related to My Little Pony, Hasbro (except maybe a few of their toys somewhere) or whatever else this may be related to.  Any actual names or likenesses are purely coincidental and should be disregarded, and I'm definitely not making any kind of a profit on this, so lawyers can just f*ck off.

Rarity and Sweetie Belle sit home on the night of Hearth's Warming Eve, while Rarity shares a quick story with her little sister.  As a personal challenge, just to prove that she isn't scared, Sweetie Belle goes outside to try and test the validity of this story and faces more than she ever hoped for.

(I just belted this out and didn't edit it, so I apologize for the probable abundance of errors and the cheesy, rushed story.  It's supposed to be Flash Fiction, but since the website doesn't allow stories of less than 1,000 words, I had to make it just a little longer since I actually wanted to submit it.  Just a fun little one-shot, I wrote it in like an hour tops [with several breaks in between] so please don't judge it too harshly.)

Spike brings home a strange plant that Twilight hasn't ever seen before.  Twilight, the curious one, jumps on the opportunity to discover something new and she and Spike get more than they bargained for.

Rated Teen for obvious drug use and lame-ass references.

Another dumb little one-shot, I like doing these every now and then just for fun.

The 'F' stands for 'Friendship'... Gosh, what were you thinking?  But seriously: After hearing a certain pegasus say a word that she's never heard before, Scootaloo goes to the rest of the Cutie Mark Crusaders to 'expand their vocabulary' if you will.  How will the citizens of Ponyville react to such language?  Especially when the Crusaders' older sisters hear about it. (Rated Teen because even though there's no gore or sex involved, there is definitely foul language.)

By the by, this little abomination has been in my own personal development hell since January 7th, so you'll accept my apologies if it's not quite up to par with my other stories (feel free to draw parallels with Duke Nukem Forever, without the famous franchise or hyped-up expectations).  I just wanted to make something goofy and never got around to finishing it until recently.

As always, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and all affiliated characters therein are owned entirely by Hasbro, and not me.  The fanfictions I create are meant to be taken for entertainment value only and are not in any way making me money.  Seriously, I'm broke, and making these doesn't help me with that...  I should sue Hasbro for inspiring me to waste my money-making time... Fluttershy loves to care for animals, going so far as to help other people care for theirs as well.  But during winter, when they're all snuggled up in their warrens and dens to hibernate, Fluttershy can hardly cope with the boredom.  Always one to try and better herself (in non-physical ways that is) the yellow pegasus begins spending time at Twilight's library, learning as much as she can on... softer subjects.  Finding that she had the capacity for far more love than just Animal care, and never expecting a certain lavender unicorn to occupy her thoughts.
